- 0:13Jason Buttrell is back with the inside
- 0:14scoop of this weekend's ceasefire negotiations.
- 0:17We've got some brand new Jasmine Crockett wisdom
- 0:21to break down for you.
- 0:22I can't wait for that,
- 0:23but we're gonna start by doing the art
- 0:25of the hostage deal.
- 0:27Yes.
- 0:28What a day.
- 0:29I don't even know how else to put it.
- 0:31Uh,
- 0:32Hamas has swapped the last Israeli hostages for
- 0:35Palestinian prisoners.
- 0:37The Israeli military said it had received all hostages confirmed to be alive
- 0:41after their transfer from Gaza by the Red Cross,
- 0:43prompting cheering,
- 0:44hugging,
- 0:45and weeping among thousands waiting at Hostage Square
- 0:48in Tel Aviv.
- 0:49Uh,
- 0:50let's give you a little picture of that.
- 0:51This is what it looked like in,
- 0:53uh,
- 0:53in,
- 0:54uh,
- 0:54Tel Aviv.
- 0:57Donald Trump's signs being waved by the crowd there.
- 1:01They are cheering the flags everywhere.
- 1:04This is a thrilling moment for the country and
- 1:06one I don't know that they thought was coming.
- 1:08I mean when you know an invading army comes
- 1:10in and kills 1200 people and takes 250 hostages.
- 1:14There has to be a moment,
- 1:15right,
- 1:15as a,
- 1:16as a country,
- 1:16as certainly even the family members,
- 1:18where you,
- 1:18in some ways,
- 1:20despite all of your hope and all of your prayers,
- 1:22there has to be at least a doubt that creeps into
- 1:24your mind that you're ever going to see them again.
- 1:26Maybe you're kind of written them off
- 1:28in your head.
- 1:28I'm sure that happened with some of these families,
- 1:30and yet here they are
- 1:32hugging their relatives once again.
- 1:34I mean,
- 1:34just an incredible day
- 1:36as far as that goes.
- 1:37Uh,
- 1:37now a direct meeting had it became
- 1:40true between,
- 1:40uh,
- 1:41Trump and,
- 1:42uh,
- 1:42Hamas leaders,
- 1:44which sealed the Gaza deal.
- 1:46Uh,
- 1:46one barrier to the deal was that Hamas leaders feared
- 1:49Israel would resume the war once the hostages were freed.
- 1:51In order to deliver a deal,
- 1:52one of the sources contended,
- 1:54uh,
- 1:54Steve.
- 1:55and Jared Kushner had to meet with the Hamas leaders in person and
- 1:58directly assure them that Trump wouldn't let that happen as long as the group
- 2:01held up its side of the deal.
- 2:02And I think that is real,
- 2:04right?
- 2:04Like Trump is not screwing around here.
- 2:05This is a big part of his legacy now.
- 2:07He's going to do everything he can
- 2:09to prevent Israel from just going back in there after this.
- 2:11He's trying to actually hold up
- 2:13a fair deal on both sides.
- 2:15This is what he does.
- 2:16And a lot of times,
- 2:17you know,
- 2:18it makes you feel weird,
- 2:19right?
- 2:19Like the fact that like,
- 2:20you know,
- 2:20Hamas is gonna get some sort of protection after this potentially.
- 2:24Uh,
- 2:24can feel really weird and I can understand why a lot of people don't like that,
- 2:28uh,
- 2:29but this is what,
- 2:30you know,
- 2:30he believed was necessary to get this done,
- 2:32and it is actually
- 2:34done.
- 2:36So far,
- 2:37there's a lot more to go through and we'll go through that here in a second,
- 2:39but world leaders gathered in Egypt to throw
- 2:42their weight behind the Gaza ceasefire deal.
- 2:44US and Egyptian presidents
- 2:45chairing a gathering of world leaders dubbed Summit of Peace on Monday.
- 2:49To support ending the more than 2 year Israel-Hamas
- 2:52war in Gaza after a breakthrough ceasefire deal.
- 2:55Israel and Hamas have no direct contacts,
- 2:57uh,
- 2:57and we're not expected to attend Monday's summit.
- 3:00But
- 3:01frankly,
- 3:01like,
- 3:02it's
- 3:02much more significant that these Arab countries are coming together,
- 3:05uh,
- 3:06in the,
- 3:06you know,
- 3:06other regional powers and saying,
- 3:07yeah,
- 3:08we're in on this.
- 3:08Like we want to help,
- 3:10we want to be part of this.
- 3:11Israel has enough trust to say,
- 3:13OK,
- 3:13even though you guys have maybe threatened us in the past,
- 3:16we're gonna look past that,
- 3:17we want the best for everybody here.
- 3:19Hamas,
- 3:21I think,
- 3:21is going to be much
- 3:22happier dealing with these nations and
- 3:25an international security force rather than
- 3:28the United States or Israel certainly.
- 3:31So there's some hope there that maybe this turns into something
- 3:34real
- 3:35over a longer period of time.
- 3:36Now
- 3:37there was a bunch of speeches that went down after all of this.
- 3:39It was,
- 3:40it was quite entertaining actually.
- 3:43Netanyahu started this off and
- 3:44He was speaking about his relationship
- 3:47with the United States and Donald Trump and,
- 3:49and more specifically,
- 3:51how unique Donald Trump was to,
- 3:53to make this happen.
- 3:54This isn't just generic praise of America,
- 3:56which is,
- 3:57you know,
- 3:57common from
- 3:58Israeli leaders.
- 3:59This is very specific.
- 4:00Trump is the guy who made this happen.
- 4:02Watch.
- 4:03Just at that point of maximum pressure on Israel.
- 4:07A man named Donald J.
- 4:09Trump
- 4:10was elected President of the United States.
- 4:20And ladies and gentlemen,
- 4:23Overnight
- 4:25Overnight
- 4:26Everything changed
- 4:29everything.
- 4:32We felt it right here.
- 4:35Mr.
- 4:35President,
- 4:37thanks to your unequivocal backing of Israel,
- 4:40we secured a second hostage deal.
- 4:43Within weeks of your election.
- 4:46And in the months that followed,
- 4:48we worked closely together
- 4:50to forge a path to bring the remaining hostages home
- 4:53and end the war,
- 4:55end the war in a way that ensures the disarming of Hamas,
- 4:58the demilitarization of Gaza,
- 5:00and that Gaza would never again pose a threat to
- 5:03Israel is the way that clip got a little cut off there,
- 5:06but you get the point.
- 5:08What's fascinating about that,
- 5:09and,
- 5:09and look,
- 5:11There's a lot going on right now.
- 5:13A lot of people are very stressed out,
- 5:14a lot of people saying all sorts of different things.
- 5:16What I would,
- 5:16what I would just mention here,
- 5:18um,
- 5:20is listen to the way he's talking about Donald
- 5:22Trump and what Donald Trump did for Israel.
- 5:25You know,
- 5:25there's a lot of theories out there.
- 5:26A lot of people believe in a lot of different things.
- 5:29You should follow that to the end
- 5:32conclusion a little bit,
- 5:33and if you do,
- 5:34I don't know,
- 5:35it might put you in a position where you question some of those thoughts because
- 5:39Frankly,
- 5:40if you believe all this stuff about Israel,
- 5:41a lot of people are saying a lot of bad things about Israel these days.
- 5:43You believe those,
- 5:44you gotta believe Donald Trump's in on it.
- 5:47Whatever you think Israel's going down,
- 5:49you gotta believe that Israel is going down that road with,
- 5:52with him and
- 5:53with his approval,
- 5:54I.
- 5:56I mean,
- 5:56all the information we're hearing about a lot of
- 5:57this stuff is coming from the Trump administration.
- 6:00Trump is out there helping Israel end this war,
- 6:03putting some pressure on them,
- 6:04I think,
- 6:04to get there,
- 6:05but
- 6:06basically nonstop praise
- 6:07of Israel throughout.
- 6:08I mean,
- 6:09let me give you an example of this.
- 6:10This is Bibi Netanyahu talking
- 6:13about
- 6:13Donald Trump and the relationship they have with
- 6:15Donald Trump sitting right next to him.
- 6:17Watch.
- 6:19My friends,
- 6:19this is only
- 6:20a partial list.
- 6:23But it's enough to affirm what I've said time and again.
- 6:27Donald Trump
- 6:28is the greatest friend that the state of Israel has ever had in the White House.
- 6:34I mean,
- 6:35they've had some good buddies.
- 6:37You know,
- 6:38it's not like there's been tons and tons of hardcore
- 6:41opponents to Israel in their,
- 6:43in their
- 6:44life as a nation,
- 6:46at least most recent
- 6:47form.
- 6:48That's a fascinating thing for him to say,
- 6:50and it is something important to consider here.
- 6:52I mean,
- 6:52look,
- 6:52you can criticize Trump if you want.
- 6:54If you think he's done all these terrible things,
- 6:55you can say that,
- 6:56but you should say it,
- 6:57I think.
- 6:57And if you,
- 6:58if you,
- 6:58if you really believe this is what Israel is doing,
- 7:00you gotta kind of believe Trump is there too,
- 7:02and
- 7:03I don't know,
- 7:03it seems that seems like,
- 7:04uh.
- 7:06A strange thing to have voted for,
- 7:07certainly,
- 7:08uh,
- 7:08so anyway,
- 7:09you can go down that road if,
- 7:09if you choose.
- 7:11Uh,
- 7:11uh,
- 7:12Trump was in his element
- 7:14there.
- 7:14I mean,
- 7:14he's got guys just heaping praise on him all over the place.
- 7:18He's there,
- 7:19he's jocular,
- 7:20he's busting on people,
- 7:22he's
- 7:22telling stories,
- 7:23he's talking about how much Joe Biden sucked.
- 7:26It was great.
- 7:26I gotta say,
- 7:28sometimes you forget with Donald Trump.
- 7:29There's a reason why the guy was a celebrity,
- 7:31right?
- 7:31Like he's an entertaining guy,
- 7:33and just because he's president of the United States,
- 7:35some people love him,
- 7:36some people hate him,
- 7:36and that's what's kind of overwhelming.
- 7:38When he gets in these moments where he's just like laying it out
- 7:40there and just doing something fun that's not necessarily in this instance,
- 7:44divisive.
- 7:44I mean,
- 7:45the audience was very receptive to everything he was saying.
- 7:47Um,
- 7:48it is fascinating to see him in that mode because he,
- 7:51this is Trumpet at his happiest
- 7:53doing this job.
- 7:54Um,
- 7:55let me
- 7:56give you first a taste of
- 7:57who he blamed for getting everybody into this problem in the first place.
- 8:01Once you go back a couple of years,
- 8:03uh,
- 8:03if I were in charge and the country was doing what they,
- 8:06nobody was going to ask me to speak.
- 8:08Nobody asked Joe Biden to come up and speak.
- 8:10I guarantee you that.
- 8:11And if they did,
- 8:11he would have turned them down,
- 8:12I promise you.
- 8:14He didn't speak.
- 8:15He didn't speak and he didn't speak well.
- 8:17But
- 8:19all of the countries in the Middle East,
- 8:22it
- 8:23could have what we're doing now,
- 8:24it could have happened a long time ago,
- 8:26but it was strangled and set back almost irretrievably by the administrations of
- 8:32Barack Obama and then Joe Biden.
- 8:34There was there was a hatred toward Israel.
- 8:37There was an absolute hatred.
- 8:39The setbacks really started when President Obama signed the Iran nuclear deal.
- 8:44This was a disaster for Israel and it was a disaster for everyone,
- 8:48and I remember that
- 8:50Bibi Netanyahu came to the United States and worked so hard
- 8:53to try and get Obama not to do that deal.
- 8:56Yes,
- 8:56and that's true,
- 8:58and they did it anyway,
- 9:00and it was a disaster,
- 9:02as one would expect.
- 9:04It's no longer in standing,
- 9:06thankfully.
- 9:07Uh,
- 9:07but there's a close relationship that went on this entire time,
- 9:10and you know,
- 9:10like
- 9:11I said,
- 9:11there's not a lot of presidents that have been opposed to Israel,
- 9:13at least not in their public words.
- 9:15We definitely have seen,
- 9:17um,
- 9:18a more negative turn toward Israel by a lot of Democratic presidents,
- 9:21and
- 9:22probably the biggest difference would have been.
- 9:24Kamala Harris got in.
- 9:25Remember,
- 9:25Kamala Harris was behind the scenes pushing Joe Biden to be more anti-Israel.
- 9:30As we've said many times on this program,
- 9:32when Biden was in office
- 9:34and we were talking about this,
- 9:35Biden didn't seem all that pro-Israel to me.
- 9:37I mean,
- 9:37like,
- 9:38I,
- 9:38his words at times were pro-Israel,
- 9:40but his actions I thought were not.
- 9:42And Kamala Harris,
- 9:43one of the main criticisms,
- 9:45when,
- 9:46when she was asked,
- 9:46hey,
- 9:47can you separate yourself from Biden in any way?
- 9:49What did he right,
- 9:49what,
- 9:50what did he wrong?
- 9:50She,
- 9:50of course,
- 9:51famously in The View said,
- 9:52I can't think of anything.
- 9:53She's later updated that thought to be like,
- 9:55I should have been tougher on Israel.
- 9:57So like this could have gone a much
- 9:59different direction and it is incredibly significant.
- 10:02Um,
- 10:02I wanted to show you this though,
- 10:03this is Donald Trump
- 10:04just kind of busting on Marco Rubio,
- 10:06who's been doing,
- 10:07you know,
- 10:07by all reporting,
- 10:09uh,
- 10:09a good job.
- 10:10You know,
- 10:10uh,
- 10:10something,
- 10:11one of the rare things that sort of unifying many factions on the right,
- 10:14some who are critical of Donald Trump really
- 10:16love his pick of Rubio and the things that he's done.
- 10:19Uh,
- 10:19Here is Trump talking about Rubio.
- 10:21And I have a prediction that Marco will go down,
- 10:25I mean this,
- 10:25as the greatest Secretary of State
- 10:28in the history of the United States.
- 10:30I believe that.
- 10:32I believe you.
- 10:38And he and I,
- 10:39you know,
- 10:39we really fought it out,
- 10:41you remember he was tough.
- 10:43He was nasty.
- 10:45Who the hell thought this was gonna happen,
- 10:47Marco,
- 10:47right?
- 10:48And now I'm saying he's gonna go down as the greatest he will.
- 10:52He was always,
- 10:54he was always smart and sharp and people respect him.
- 10:58He really is incredible when you think back
- 11:00to the 2016
- 11:01primary.
- 11:03Of how far they were apart,
- 11:04and you think back at Rubio who kind of seemed like
- 11:06he was a big rising star through the uh Tea Party,
- 11:09I think he was,
- 11:10you know,
- 11:10I would consider him one of the favorites going into that primary,
- 11:14um,
- 11:14not necessarily,
- 11:15you know,
- 11:15the top guy,
- 11:16but was up there.
- 11:17And,
- 11:18uh,
- 11:18it never really caught on and then had that weird like
- 11:213-day turn where he turned into like Triumph the Insult comic,
- 11:25you know,
- 11:25it was like,
- 11:26um,
- 11:27like all of a sudden he was just like
- 11:28insulting him and then he turned around again and was like,
- 11:30I shouldn't have done that,
- 11:31it's not me.
- 11:32And he
- 11:33had like a pretty good speech on the way out,
- 11:35and that was like,
- 11:35people were like,
- 11:36is this it for,
- 11:37for Mar Marco Rubio?
- 11:38The answer to that was no,
- 11:39he's really
- 11:39turned it around.
- 11:40He became a very respected senator throughout that period and then.
- 11:44Secretary of State and seemingly doing about half
- 11:46the jobs in the White House right now,
- 11:47so that's been kind of interesting.
- 11:49Um,
- 11:50what does this mean for the Middle East?
- 11:51Donald Trump has a prediction or at least a,
- 11:53at least a hope for what,
- 11:55what the path is forward.
- 11:57Here he is talking about it.
- 11:58This is not
- 12:00only
- 12:01the end of a war,
- 12:02this is the end of an age of terror and death and
- 12:05the beginning of
- 12:06the age of faith
- 12:08and hope
- 12:09and of God.
- 12:11It's the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony
- 12:15for Israel and all the nations of
- 12:18what will soon be a truly
- 12:20magnificent region.
- 12:21I believe that so strongly.
- 12:24This is the historic dawn of.
- 12:27A new Middle East.
- 12:29So there you go,
- 12:30uh,
- 12:30you know,
- 12:31big hopes certainly for the region.
- 12:33Now you might expect the reaction when everything,
- 12:35when anything happens with Donald Trump,
- 12:37it's always a bad reaction,
- 12:38right?
- 12:38The media goes negative,
- 12:39they go terrible.
- 12:40There was a lot of that,
- 12:41but also some positive.
- 12:43Um,
- 12:43let me give you Sam Harris.
- 12:44Harris,
- 12:44uh,
- 12:45talking with,
- 12:45uh,
- 12:46Jason
- 12:47Cohen,
- 12:48um,
- 12:48about,
- 12:49uh,
- 12:49this deal in the Middle East,
- 12:51and he had some nice words.
- 12:54Trump got a deal done.
- 12:56And that's something I don't believe you believe
- 12:57would have happened under a President Harris.
- 13:01It pains me somewhat to admit this,
- 13:02but yes,
- 13:03he's,
- 13:03he's certainly been good for the Middle East and for Israel
- 13:08in a way that I don't think there was any reason to expect
- 13:11Harris to be good,
- 13:12and Biden certainly wasn't good apart from the first.
- 13:15A few weeks after October 7th or maybe a couple of months after October 7th.
- 13:19He's a,
- 13:19you know,
- 13:19not a fan of Donald Trump,
- 13:21but giving him appropriate credit,
- 13:22I think that's good.
- 13:23And of course this has been going on for a while,
- 13:24it's not,
- 13:24you know,
- 13:24it shouldn't just be
- 13:26a couple of examples I can pull out.
- 13:27I mean,
- 13:27the,
- 13:28the,
- 13:28the,
- 13:29the,
- 13:29the captives themselves were saying this was the main difference.
- 13:32I want you to listen to one of them
- 13:34speaking out about this.
- 13:34This is from a couple of months ago,
- 13:35but you might,
- 13:36may have missed it.
- 13:37What was the change when Donald Trump,
- 13:39uh,
- 13:39came in and what did they expect between Trump and Harris?
- 13:41What was the difference?
- 13:42Watch.
- 13:44Yes,
- 13:44it's him.
- 13:45He got me out.
- 13:46He got the hostages out.
- 13:49Um
- 13:51Before
- 13:52we felt like nothing is happening,
- 13:55you know,
- 13:56and I remember
- 13:57there for me there ever since
- 13:59he came into the role,
- 14:01they were very scared of him.
- 14:03They wanted
- 14:05terrorists were afraid of Trump.
- 14:07Yes,
- 14:08they wanted Kamala to be chosen to be elected.
- 14:11You talked politics with them,
- 14:12yeah,
- 14:13yeah,
- 14:13yeah.
- 14:14They wanted Kamala to be elected.
- 14:17Um,
- 14:19But as soon as
- 14:22as as
- 14:23as Donald Trump was elected,
- 14:25they understood that
- 14:27he wants to bring the ostriches back home,
- 14:29yeah.
- 14:31So immediately the
- 14:33the the the way they treated me changed.
- 14:38So it's,
- 14:38if it's the,
- 14:39the amount of food,
- 14:40I can say,
- 14:41I could say this,
- 14:42that
- 14:43when,
- 14:44when Trump
- 14:45came into,
- 14:47became president,
- 14:48yeah.
- 14:49The way they treated us changed
- 14:53for me
- 14:54personally.
- 14:54This is what I think because they anticipated that a deal would come soon,
- 14:58and that's when they started giving you more food,
- 15:00exactly more food,
- 15:01treated me better,
- 15:02you know,
- 15:03stopped cursing me,
- 15:04stopped spitting,
- 15:05spitting on me.
- 15:07They were spitting and cursing.
- 15:08Were they beating you?
- 15:10No,
- 15:10never.
- 15:10I was never,
- 15:11except,
- 15:12uh,
- 15:12the 7th of October.
- 15:13I was never abused,
- 15:15uh,
- 15:15physically,
- 15:17but I think it's because the way I managed around the relationship.
- 15:21Yeah,
- 15:22I mean,
- 15:22that's
- 15:24jarring.
- 15:25How do you feel if you're Kamala Harris hearing that?
- 15:28Uh,
- 15:28you know,
- 15:29certainly we can all say she probably has no soul and feels nothing,
- 15:32but
- 15:32I,
- 15:32I mean,
- 15:33I'd have to feel pretty terrible about the fact that like the,
- 15:36you know,
- 15:36people,
- 15:37the terrorists were hoping for her to be elected.
- 15:40How,
- 15:41imagine if that was you.
- 15:43The terrorists were wanting me to be elected,
- 15:45like,
- 15:45uh,
- 15:46I mean,
- 15:46again,
- 15:46she was
- 15:47very close to the Hamas side of the party,
- 15:49so I,
- 15:50I don't know if that was too effective,
- 15:52uh,
- 15:52to her.
- 15:53Um,
- 15:53I will also,
- 15:53uh,
- 15:54point out that even CNN
- 15:55admitted
- 15:56this truth.
- 15:57This is from an early morning article that we screenshotted for a reason.
- 16:02Uh,
- 16:02it's,
- 16:02uh,
- 16:03two years after October 7th,
- 16:05Trump arrives in Israel having accomplished what Biden could not.
- 16:08That's how CNN put it.
- 16:10Of course if you go back there now,
- 16:12we couldn't find that anywhere,
- 16:13we instead found this in its place.
- 16:15When Biden visited visited Israel,
- 16:18wounds were fresh and tension was mounting.
- 16:21Two years later,
- 16:22Trump arrives with prospect of peace.
- 16:24So like that much more generic story,
- 16:26not really saying,
- 16:28and Biden couldn't pull this off,
- 16:29but that's where it goes.
- 16:31And I will say like,
- 16:32it is important to note,
- 16:34and I mean this sincerely.
- 16:36There's a lot of stuff to come still.
- 16:38This is not going to be,
- 16:40let's call it easy
- 16:42after,
- 16:42after what we've seen here.
- 16:44Um,
- 16:44we had this,
- 16:45and we presented this to you a couple of weeks ago or whenever this started,
- 16:48I think,
- 16:48let's do I have the date on here?
- 16:50Uh,
- 16:50end of September.
- 16:5128 point proposal for peace in the Gaza Strip,
- 16:54ending
- 16:55Israel-Hamas war.
- 16:56This was
- 16:57the proposal from Donald Trump.
- 16:59How many of those are done?
- 17:01Is a good place to start today.
- 17:02Well,
- 17:03they're not exactly chronological.
- 17:05They don't,
- 17:06it doesn't start,
- 17:07you know,
- 17:07one is the first thing.
- 17:08I'll give a couple of these to you.
- 17:10Gaza will be a deradicalized,
- 17:11terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbors.
- 17:14I certainly don't think we can say that one's accomplished yet.
- 17:17That's more of a longer goal.
- 17:18Same with number 2,
- 17:19Gaza will be redeveloped for the people,
- 17:21the benefit of the people of Gaza who have suffered more than enough.
- 17:24There's talk and hope that that eventually happens,
- 17:27but obviously it hasn't happened
- 17:29quite yet.
- 17:30There are things that have happened in here,
- 17:32and let me go through the things that seemingly have checked off of this list.
- 17:35If both sides agree to this proposal.
- 17:37The war will immediately end.
- 17:38Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed upon line
- 17:41to prepare for a hostage release.
- 17:43During this time,
- 17:44all military operations,
- 17:45including aerial and artillery bombardment,
- 17:48will be suspended,
- 17:49and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met
- 17:52for the complete staged withdrawal.
- 17:54I think we
- 17:55can check off at least a good chunk of that one.
- 17:57Number 4,
- 17:59within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement,
- 18:02all hostages,
- 18:03alive and deceased,
- 18:04will be returned.
- 18:06We can basically say that's done.
- 18:07Now,
- 18:08the deceased,
- 18:08we,
- 18:08I don't,
- 18:09that's not
- 18:10there yet,
- 18:11um,
- 18:11but
- 18:12we think it's in process,
- 18:14you know,
- 18:14some people are saying,
- 18:14hey,
- 18:15we haven't seen all the remains yet.
- 18:17You know,
- 18:17look,
- 18:17I want the remains to be returned.
- 18:19It's important,
- 18:19particularly to
- 18:21Jewish culture and Israel in general,
- 18:23to get the remains back.
- 18:25However,
- 18:26obviously it's,
- 18:27you know,
- 18:28to my mind still secondary,
- 18:29of course,
- 18:29to the living hostages that have 100% been
- 18:33returned.
- 18:34Once all hostages are released,
- 18:35Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1700 Gazans
- 18:39who were detained after October 7th,
- 18:412023,
- 18:42including all women and children detained in that context.
- 18:44For every Israeli hostage who
- 18:46Remains,
- 18:47whose remains are released,
- 18:48Israel released the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.
- 18:51So like you get the idea here,
- 18:53this is typical of these arrangements,
- 18:54by the way.
- 18:55Israel gives up,
- 18:55you know,
- 18:56gets 20 people and gives up,
- 18:57you know,
- 18:582000.
- 18:58It's like a 100 to 1 ratio typically in these
- 19:01types of arrangements,
- 19:02but
- 19:02that is pretty significant.
- 19:03Um,
- 19:04and,
- 19:04and those 3,
- 19:05I would say of the 20,
- 19:06you could say at least are
- 19:08close to being checked off.
- 19:10I mean Palestinians are complaining about not getting everything they wanted.
- 19:13Israel is going to complain about that as well,
- 19:15but.
- 19:15That's 3.
- 19:16There's a 20-piece
- 19:17process.
- 19:18I mean,
- 19:18let's see,
- 19:18how much of this is,
- 19:20uh,
- 19:20all of these are the other.
- 19:24All of these
- 19:26And the first two
- 19:28are not done.
- 19:29It's a tough road ahead,
- 19:30right?
- 19:31It's going to be difficult,
- 19:32and whether this gets across the finish line.
- 19:35As something bigger than just the hostages getting released,
- 19:38which is of course a big deal,
- 19:40if it's more than that,
- 19:41there's a lot of work to do,
- 19:42and that's OK,
- 19:43but it is important for all of us to realize that that's true.
- 19:47It is also OK,
- 19:48however,
- 19:48to step back and actually
- 19:51Just applaud an accomplishment.
- 19:53This is an amazing day.
- 19:54This is something that most people did not think could happen.
- 19:57Certainly,
- 19:58I went most of my life,
- 19:59uh,
- 19:59looking at Israel and Hamas and,
- 20:02you know,
- 20:02the Palestinians and thinking
- 20:04it's never going to be solved,
- 20:05unless,
- 20:05you know,
- 20:06God comes down from the heavens,
- 20:07this isn't going to happen.
- 20:09You know,
- 20:09miracles do happen though,
- 20:11and you always have to,
- 20:13um,
- 20:14allow
- 20:14for the possibility of a miracle.
- 20:16The hostages are back.
- 20:17It's a miracle.
- 20:18And this,
- 20:18and this is not something,
- 20:20this is something that actually happened.
- 20:21Well,
- 20:21you know,
- 20:21this isn't one of those things where,
- 20:23you know,
- 20:24every once in a while you have like a trade in the NBA
- 20:26where one player goes to the other team and then they're like,
- 20:28oh,
- 20:28he failed the physical,
- 20:29we're gonna reverse it and send them back.
- 20:30That doesn't happen in this.
- 20:32Right?
- 20:32Like if something gets screwed up later on,
- 20:34the Palestinians aren't like,
- 20:35all right,
- 20:35I guess I gotta go,
- 20:36or,
- 20:36excuse me,
- 20:36the,
- 20:36uh,
- 20:37the Israeli hostages aren't like,
- 20:38I,
- 20:38I guess I gotta go back to,
- 20:39to Gaza now.
- 20:40This thing didn't work out.
- 20:41This is done.
- 20:42It happened.
- 20:43They're home.
- 20:44They're hugging relatives,
- 20:45they're celebrating on social media.
- 20:46This is real.
- 20:47It's a real thing.
- 20:49And Donald Trump
- 20:50deserves a ton of credit.
- 20:52He also gave credit to people like Marco Rubio,
- 20:54Jared Kushner,
- 20:56Whitaker,
- 20:57all the people who were involved in this.
- 20:59But you know,
- 21:00Trump is the guy at the head of that,
- 21:01and if this guy screwed up,
- 21:02he deserves some blame for it.
- 21:04He deserves massive,
- 21:05massive credit
- 21:06here.
- 21:07The Palestinians,
- 21:08you know,
- 21:09will get back,
- 21:09as I mentioned,
- 21:10about 100 to 1 ratio.
- 21:12Some of these people will be really bad people.
- 21:15Some of these people will be people that
- 21:16will try to reconstitute terrorist attacks and groups
- 21:19to go back against Israel that we know,
- 21:22you know,
- 21:22Sinwar himself was one of these guys that was released from a
- 21:26previous situation years ago and then wound up becoming head of Hamas.
- 21:30These things are happening,
- 21:31you gotta,
- 21:31you gotta watch them.
- 21:32There's no reason to believe this is gonna be squeaky clean.
- 21:35We're gonna look back at this and say,
- 21:36wow,
- 21:36that went wrong and that went wrong and that went wrong,
- 21:38but at least there's a chance of things going right too,
- 21:41which is not where we were
- 21:42very recently.
- 21:43Um,
- 21:44Israel,
- 21:45Trump has handled Israel very well.
- 21:46I have no real notes here.
- 21:48Um,
- 21:48and the same thing goes for Israel.
- 21:50Israel could have many times,
- 21:52you know,
- 21:52done what every Democrat does and look for a,
- 21:54a,
- 21:55a reason to speak out and bash Donald Trump.
- 21:57They didn't do that.
- 21:58They said,
- 21:58let's make the,
- 21:59the,
- 22:00the real thing,
- 22:01the first thing,
- 22:01the first thing,
- 22:02right?
- 22:02Like.
- 22:03What's the priority here?
- 22:04It's protecting the people of Israel.
- 22:06We need Donald Trump,
- 22:06we need America on our side,
- 22:08and they were very careful with that relationship,
- 22:10and both sides,
- 22:11I think,
- 22:11managed it very,
- 22:12very well.
- 22:13This isn't just Trump bloviating.
- 22:15This is a real thing that happened.
- 22:16It is a massive accomplishment,
- 22:18no matter what the media tells you.
- 22:19This is a big deal.
- 22:21It's something that all presidents have tried to get done forever,
- 22:24and because of Trump's different approaches,
- 22:26he was able to get it across the finish line.
- 22:28This is gonna cement a big part of Trump's legacy going forward,
- 22:31but.
- 22:32You know,
- 22:33it's part of his legacy has always been the art of the deal,
- 22:35right?
- 22:35And the media told you from the beginning that the Art of the Deal was sort of a joke,
- 22:39right?
- 22:39Well,
- 22:40you know,
- 22:40it's not a joke to Israel.
- 22:42It's not a joke to those families.
- 22:44And I I don't think anybody can argue that it's a joke today.
- 22:47This is a big deal,
- 22:49and Donald Trump deserves a lot of credit for it.
- 23:03There are those who lead and there are those who follow.
- 23:05And when it's time for you to buy or sell a house,
- 23:07especially in a market like this,
- 23:09you want the person,
- 23:10the leader kind.
- 23:11You don't want the follower kind.
- 23:13A bunch of years ago,
- 23:14Glenn,
- 23:14I mean,
- 23:14gosh,
- 23:15I don't even remember,
- 23:1515 years ago now,
- 23:16Glenn got really fed up with the sort of follower types,
- 23:19right?
- 23:19He doesn't,
- 23:20he wants the leaders.
- 23:21And he decided to do something about it,
- 23:23and he created Real Estate Agents ITrust.com,
- 23:25because he didn't want to go through.
- 23:27All this nonsense that he had to go through,
- 23:30uh,
- 23:30over and over and over and over again,
- 23:31and he didn't want you to have to deal with that either.
- 23:33Real estate agents I Trust pairs you with the best real estate agent in your area.
- 23:37Someone who knows the best practices,
- 23:39someone who understands the crazy housing market,
- 23:41someone who is a team leader and a closer.
- 23:44Somebody you can trust from the beginning.
- 23:46If you're thinking about buying or selling a home or both,
- 23:48please get in touch with them.
- 23:49You'll see what I mean.
- 23:50It's real estate agents Irust.com.
- 23:52The name says it all,
- 23:53go to real estate agents Irust.com,
- 23:55real estate agents Irust.com.
- 24:01Joined now by Jason Buttrell,
- 24:02head writer and researcher for Glenn Beck,
- 24:04uh,
- 24:04of course,
- 24:05the Glenn Beck program airs here on Blaze TV.
- 24:07Jason,
- 24:07thanks so much for coming on the program.
- 24:08You betcha.
- 24:09Um,
- 24:10big day.
- 24:11We just went through all of the latest developments,
- 24:13you know,
- 24:14went through a bunch of Trump's speech and everything else.
- 24:16Um,
- 24:17but like,
- 24:19think about the last 100 years,
- 24:22you know,
- 24:23I don't know where this thing turns out
- 24:25at the end,
- 24:26but like this is a pretty massive day.
- 24:28Uh,
- 24:28I mean,
- 24:29is it though?
- 24:29Didn't you see the Obamas or the Biden administration trying to take credit for it?
- 24:33like,
- 24:33oh,
- 24:33it's a good thing they just kept on with what we were already doing,
- 24:35you know,
- 24:36we could have,
- 24:36we could have had peace in the Middle East a long time ago.
- 24:39We said screw it and decided to just let it play out on its own.
- 24:42This is just like him trying to cure cancer,
- 24:43like,
- 24:44and obviously unfortunately you're finding out he was not able to do that.
- 24:47So ridiculous,
- 24:49uh,
- 24:49how
- 24:50they are trying to frame this now.
- 24:52Take any kind of credit whatsoever is just bizarre.
- 24:55Uh,
- 24:55it's unreal.
- 24:56But I mean,
- 24:57the way that the Trump administration was able
- 24:59to do this was completely just way out.
- 25:02They not only just,
- 25:04they not only,
- 25:04you know,
- 25:05looked for,
- 25:05you know,
- 25:06more fish in the barrel,
- 25:07they completely grabbed a new barrel and rewrote the way that they,
- 25:10uh,
- 25:11these things have been handled over the past forever,
- 25:13since the 40s,
- 25:14basically.
- 25:15Um,
- 25:16they cut out seemingly like before you would just go through like Qatar
- 25:20and have a bunch of shady dealings through the Qatari government,
- 25:23have them,
- 25:23you know,
- 25:24reach out to Hamas,
- 25:25do all these things.
- 25:26The Trump administration said screw that.
- 25:28They went to
- 25:29pretty much look like,
- 25:30you know,
- 25:31the foundation of the Abraham Accords and,
- 25:32and,
- 25:33you know,
- 25:33invited all those different nations to kind of play a part in this
- 25:37and
- 25:38having it,
- 25:39you know,
- 25:39signed and the appearance in Egypt was,
- 25:41I think,
- 25:42a really big step in this,
- 25:44um,
- 25:44showing that this is more about a coalition,
- 25:46a coalition of willing Arab partners.
- 25:49And I think that it,
- 25:51it speaks volumes towards,
- 25:53you know,
- 25:53the model that they're going towards in the future,
- 25:56specifically building upon the Abraham Accords.
- 25:58Now we look at it once they're kind of united
- 26:00in this common goal and it appears to be successful.
- 26:03Um,
- 26:04we're looking at who's going to join it next.
- 26:06Is it the Saudis?
- 26:07That would be the big one,
- 26:08that would be a huge one.
- 26:10If they can jump on board,
- 26:11we can get lots and lots more jumping on board.
- 26:13Who knows where this could go,
- 26:15and it's very exciting.
- 26:16Yeah,
- 26:17I mean it does feel like there's a real chance here,
- 26:19part of it is
- 26:20Trump is good at setting up these
- 26:22discussions and arrangements in ways that have.
- 26:25Sort of a predetermined outcome,
- 26:27you know,
- 26:27like he comes out and he announces,
- 26:28hey,
- 26:29me and Bibi just uh agreed here,
- 26:31me and us and Israel,
- 26:32we're in agreement,
- 26:32the,
- 26:33the deal's done.
- 26:33All we've got to do is wait for Hamas.
- 26:35He's like,
- 26:35well then all the pressure's on Hamas to actually
- 26:37come along.
- 26:38They had rejected
- 26:39proposal after proposal after proposal after proposal,
- 26:42and now they're like,
- 26:42uh,
- 26:43oh,
- 26:43I guess,
- 26:44yeah,
- 26:44well,
- 26:45like,
- 26:45OK,
- 26:45so they accept this thing.
- 26:47Um,
- 26:47the same thing I think is being set up with these uh Arab partners in that.
- 26:51Like
- 26:52if they come in and they're part of this overarching sort of government in Gaza,
- 26:57if Hamas or a Hamas offshoot winds up doing
- 27:00things that are bad and someone cracks down,
- 27:02it's not the Israelis,
- 27:04it's likely these Arab partners who are there trying to maintain peace,
- 27:08and it sets up a totally different dynamic.
- 27:10It's hard to blame the Jews if.
- 27:12You know,
- 27:12Egyptian troops are in the middle of cracking down on terrorists.
- 27:16It's a good change and could be a change that
- 27:18could benefit not only Israel but everybody in the region.
- 27:21Oh,
- 27:21for sure.
- 27:21And
- 27:23right now what we're looking at is exactly what you laid out,
- 27:25um,
- 27:26what happens next.
- 27:27The big one is the demilitarizing of Hamas specifically.
- 27:31Um,
- 27:32and not only that,
- 27:33but can these,
- 27:34you know,
- 27:34Arab partners,
- 27:35some of these other
- 27:36people that are going to be taking over security or overseeing it at least,
- 27:40can they do what is stated that they can do,
- 27:43which is oversee that demilitarization
- 27:46and make sure that,
- 27:47you know,
- 27:47more offshoots don't spring up,
- 27:49and you have,
- 27:50see,
- 27:50I remember.
- 27:52One of the craziest,
- 27:53uh,
- 27:53realizations that I've had,
- 27:54um,
- 27:55you know,
- 27:55and I've,
- 27:56and I've looked at,
- 27:57you know,
- 27:57these scenarios in the past in the Middle East,
- 27:59um,
- 27:59but one of the craziest ones I had was when I was actually in Iraq a few years ago,
- 28:04and I remember looking at some space,
- 28:06uh,
- 28:06with some Kurdish Peshmerga,
- 28:07and we were looking at like a,
- 28:09a de facto borderline that they had,
- 28:11they had,
- 28:12you know,
- 28:12built this,
- 28:13uh,
- 28:13big dirt berm,
- 28:15and it was kind of like.
- 28:17I guess kind of sealing off or showing Kurdistan,
- 28:19the northern Iraq Kurdistan area from the rest of Iraq,
- 28:23and I was like,
- 28:23why do you did you even put that there?
- 28:25and they said power vacuum and I was like,
- 28:27what do you mean power vacuum?
- 28:29And he goes,
- 28:30Well,
- 28:30now that ISIS is not there,
- 28:32we're now looking at all the different militias that are going to
- 28:35be rolling into this space and that are now going to be,
- 28:37you know,
- 28:38claiming it.
- 28:39They're the ones that we have to look out next.
- 28:41And they were like,
- 28:42this is the story of the Middle East.
- 28:43No matter where you're at in the Middle East,
- 28:45power vacuum will decide
- 28:47what happens here in the future,
- 28:49and it's going to happen.
- 28:50So right now what we're going to have in Gaza is a power vacuum,
- 28:53and we spoke about this before
- 28:55about all the different,
- 28:57you know,
- 28:57multiple different armed groups in Gaza that will now be vying to,
- 29:02you know,
- 29:03take up that mantle and fill that power vacuum.
- 29:07Uh,
- 29:07will it be Hamas still
- 29:09somehow trying to cling to power in a
- 29:12in an appeared demilitarized way.
- 29:14Um,
- 29:15will they go away?
- 29:16Will it be another group like Palestinian Islamic Jihad?
- 29:18Will it be another group of,
- 29:20you know,
- 29:20offshoot of multiple different people from the other groups coming together,
- 29:24forming something new,
- 29:25making it appear
- 29:26that it's,
- 29:27you know,
- 29:28you know,
- 29:29something a little bit more,
- 29:30I don't know,
- 29:31or something less scary,
- 29:32but we know what they want to do.
- 29:34Uh,
- 29:35that's what I'm looking at now.
- 29:37How will they manage this power vacuum.
- 29:39Uh,
- 29:40how can they keep,
- 29:41uh,
- 29:41Gaza from being a staging point for another attack on Israel later?
- 29:46Uh,
- 29:48very,
- 29:48very critical time right now if that can be managed,
- 29:51and as you said,
- 29:52you know,
- 29:53the way the Trump administration and the Israelis have kind of built this,
- 29:56it's now on,
- 29:58you know,
- 29:58these Arab partners,
- 29:59can they,
- 30:00you know,
- 30:00manage this,
- 30:01uh,
- 30:02if they want.
- 30:03Uh,
- 30:04you know,
- 30:04a larger piece in the region or,
- 30:06you know,
- 30:07at least a more cooperative,
- 30:09you know,
- 30:09region,
- 30:10uh,
- 30:11it,
- 30:11it's now on them to make sure that happens and they,
- 30:13and they have a lot of incentive to do it too.
- 30:15I mean they are completely locking Iran out of this
- 30:18totally,
- 30:19which is something that hasn't happened in decades in this region.
- 30:22Iran is being completely locked out of these decisions.
- 30:24That's great,
- 30:25awesome,
- 30:26yeah,
- 30:26um,
- 30:27I keep going back and,
- 30:29and thinking about this and,
- 30:30and,
- 30:30and how it's all developed and it is.
- 30:33Kind of a just a stunning
- 30:35turn of events,
- 30:36right?
- 30:36Like I,
- 30:36I,
- 30:36I don't know how long ago we would have
- 30:38thought this was really probably never going to happen.
- 30:42You have now this 20 piece
- 30:44plan.
- 30:45To be clear,
- 30:46this is one piece of it,
- 30:47right,
- 30:47and it's an early piece,
- 30:48but what's fascinating about this is Hamas really
- 30:51like something like them disarming or something like them not being able to govern,
- 30:54which is a,
- 30:55you know,
- 30:55a future part of the plan.
- 30:57They have no leverage to fight back against that
- 30:59stuff now because they've given up the hostages.
- 31:01This is great for the hostages,
- 31:02great for the families,
- 31:03but like,
- 31:03I don't know where this winds up going,
- 31:05and I do think that in this 20-step process,
- 31:07there's a lot of pitfalls and it may very well fail at some point
- 31:10during this process and something else might go wrong.
- 31:14But like what I keep coming back to is this,
- 31:15the,
- 31:16the hostages are actually home.
- 31:17This actually happened,
- 31:18like this is over,
- 31:19like they're not going to be brought back because another part of
- 31:22this negotiation fails or some other part of the deal fails.
- 31:24They're not going to have to go back to Gaza.
- 31:26This is it.
- 31:27It's this accomplishment is there and it's,
- 31:29it's,
- 31:29uh,
- 31:29you know,
- 31:29it's miraculous.
- 31:31Yeah,
- 31:31it really is and what a comparison.
- 31:33I,
- 31:33I,
- 31:33I,
- 31:34I,
- 31:34I think back to.
- 31:36Over the many decades when
- 31:38random US president would,
- 31:40you know,
- 31:40in a Hail Mary
- 31:42invite like Yasser Arafat to Camp David
- 31:45or something equivalent to that,
- 31:47and it would be hailed all over the world like,
- 31:49hey,
- 31:50they're talking,
- 31:50you know,
- 31:51he flew to Camp David,
- 31:52something might happen
- 31:539 times out of 10 it wouldn't happen.
- 31:55Every once in a while something would come out of it.
- 31:58Usually Israel would get screwed in the deal,
- 32:00but Israel would give it up for you know,
- 32:02greater peace,
- 32:03uh,
- 32:03and stability.
- 32:05Now we actually have the start of a legit peace plan.
- 32:09Hostages have been
- 32:10turned over.
- 32:12Um,
- 32:13the violence has stopped,
- 32:15and they are on a path
- 32:17to something very,
- 32:18very
- 32:19exciting.
- 32:20And it's kind of hilarious that,
- 32:22you know,
- 32:22they're not giving it even more of the kudos than it deserves.
- 32:25So even I even saw,
- 32:26I actually saw Hillary Clinton,
- 32:28it must have been through her teeth saying,
- 32:29you know,
- 32:29I give it to the Trump administration for that was getting us this far.
- 32:33You should be able to do that.
- 32:34It should be easy in a moment.
- 32:35But how much did that hurt?
- 32:37You know it did.
- 32:38This is over like something very,
- 32:39very exciting.
- 32:40This is about peace in this area that we haven't had in a long time.
- 32:44Um,
- 32:45if this goes.
- 32:45Anywhere near Stu,
- 32:47and I said this with you before,
- 32:49anywhere near
- 32:50Palestinian statehood,
- 32:52I am going to lose
- 32:53my,
- 32:54can't be rewarded.
- 32:55There cannot be a reward.
- 32:56Can't be a reward for what they did on October 7th.
- 32:580 my gosh,
- 32:59look,
- 32:59the,
- 32:59the people showed these pictures,
- 33:00like,
- 33:01look at this devastation.
- 33:02I think it was Leon Wolf who said,
- 33:04you know,
- 33:05starting a war and then losing it badly is not a genocide.
- 33:08That's you,
- 33:09you started this war.
- 33:11You lost it.
- 33:12It was really ugly.
- 33:14Yes,
- 33:14it's true.
- 33:15There's a lot of rubble,
- 33:16the debris,
- 33:17as Trump said,
- 33:17all over this,
- 33:18that,
- 33:18that is all true.
- 33:20It's also the appropriate response to what happened on October 7th in my mind.
- 33:24I don't want to,
- 33:25uh,
- 33:25leave though before,
- 33:26um,
- 33:27switching subjects a little bit
- 33:28on Antifa.
- 33:30They have been in the news quite a bit,
- 33:32potentially a terrorist group,
- 33:33uh,
- 33:34Trump,
- 33:34Trump has,
- 33:35you know,
- 33:35signed something to that,
- 33:36uh,
- 33:37to that effect,
- 33:38um.
- 33:39But you had a little bit of a visit with Glenn,
- 33:41uh,
- 33:42this weekend and a couple of FBI agents.
- 33:44What the heck happened?
- 33:46So we did a show last week,
- 33:48you know,
- 33:48we're
- 33:49making fun.
- 33:49There was a,
- 33:49there was a social media clip,
- 33:51I think this weekend where they were showing how
- 33:53on cue,
- 33:54almost as if they received a written notice,
- 33:56all the media personalities
- 33:57were saying this was a decentralized leaderless movement,
- 34:00all of them saying it.
- 34:02And we were kind of we were tracking that last week
- 34:03so we're like well let's just make a quick little case,
- 34:06you know,
- 34:06based off of just information that we know other open source information where
- 34:09we can easily debunk that and show that there is a network involved,
- 34:13um,
- 34:14well,
- 34:14yeah,
- 34:14the,
- 34:15the FBI was interested in that
- 34:17reached out to Glenn over the weekend.
- 34:18I was actually at the mall with my wife on a Saturday
- 34:22and,
- 34:22uh,
- 34:23on last Saturday,
- 34:24and then,
- 34:24uh,
- 34:25Glenn was like called me up and said,
- 34:27hey,
- 34:27um,
- 34:28do you think you can be here by 6?
- 34:29I was like,
- 34:30why?
- 34:30And he was like,
- 34:31uh,
- 34:32because the FBI is coming to talk about the show on Wednesday,
- 34:35I'll be there at 6.
- 34:38Stu,
- 34:38it was,
- 34:39it was a cool meeting.
- 34:40Uh,
- 34:41it,
- 34:41it was definitely,
- 34:42uh.
- 34:43It,
- 34:43it,
- 34:44it,
- 34:44it shows that the FBI and the DOG DOJ are being serious about
- 34:48looking into a lot of these networks and really turning on over,
- 34:51over,
- 34:52over every stone,
- 34:53not just looking at this as Antifa as like a leaderless,
- 34:57a leaderless or a decentralized group,
- 35:00but
- 35:00the possibilities that it might be a larger network,
- 35:03especially with funding.
- 35:04I've never
- 35:05one of the most surreal moments of my life,
- 35:07Stu,
- 35:08we have 3 FBI agents.
- 35:09They're sitting across from us.
- 35:11I'm,
- 35:11I'm sitting next to Glenn.
- 35:13And uh they asked about the Tides Foundation.
- 35:16Glenn goes off for like 15 minutes giving like a like it was like a monologue from back
- 35:22at Fox and just starts going through all the
- 35:24ins and outs describing what they're all about.
- 35:26I'm just staring at this and I'm like I cannot believe this if the FBI
- 35:29would have been this concerned or the
- 35:31administration been this concerned and actually being.
- 35:34You know,
- 35:35real
- 35:35about getting to the bottom of,
- 35:37you know,
- 35:37radical left wing violence,
- 35:39if they would have
- 35:40just done the same thing with Glenn back in 2010
- 35:43whenever he was talking about it,
- 35:45think about all the damage we could have stopped
- 35:48from then until now.
- 35:49It would have been a different country today.
- 35:52Uh,
- 35:52so overall,
- 35:53do you think
- 35:54it,
- 35:54it was a good thing like.
- 35:55Is this a positive that they're looking into it?
- 35:57I mean,
- 35:57because part of me says like,
- 35:58gosh,
- 35:59like I feel like when we're putting a show together,
- 36:01like we were,
- 36:02we're hoping to get FBI sources to tell us about how deep the networks are,
- 36:06the fact that they're asking questions of you guys,
- 36:08like,
- 36:09it's cool because it means you guys did a
- 36:10relevant show that has good information to it,
- 36:12but also like,
- 36:13isn't it concerning that the FBI is coming to us?
- 36:15Like it doesn't make any sense.
- 36:17I think what's concerning is the fact that
- 36:19before.
- 36:21You know,
- 36:21federal law enforcement or the government didn't even consider
- 36:24things like this.
- 36:25They,
- 36:26they,
- 36:26they,
- 36:26it's,
- 36:27it's,
- 36:27it's clear that,
- 36:28you know,
- 36:28during the Obama days,
- 36:29the Biden days,
- 36:31they clearly didn't
- 36:32give a crap.
- 36:33They could have give a crap,
- 36:34you know,
- 36:34and,
- 36:34and it's not surprising because those are some,
- 36:36a lot of those dark money.
- 36:37Networks
- 36:38um
- 36:39funded them as well,
- 36:40you know what I mean?
- 36:41So I mean
- 36:42it's concerning that they never had looked at that before,
- 36:45but what gives me hope is now there's clearly a new sheriff in town
- 36:49they're clearly willing and and interested in
- 36:53going,
- 36:54you know,
- 36:55after every single person that might be involved in these groups,
- 36:58and I,
- 36:59I don't know if they'll find anything.
- 37:00Um,
- 37:01it's,
- 37:02it's possible that,
- 37:02you know,
- 37:03it leads to a lot of dead ends,
- 37:04but at least now they're looking for,
- 37:06you know,
- 37:06light in those dead ends,
- 37:07and they're going after it.
- 37:08So I,
- 37:09I'm,
- 37:09I'm very,
- 37:09very,
- 37:10I'm very hopeful for what the future might bring.
- 37:12That's good.
- 37:13That's good news.
- 37:14Uh,
- 37:14it's good.
- 37:14We get,
- 37:15we give it occasionally.
- 37:16There's occasionally good news on this program.
- 37:17Uh,
- 37:17Jason Buttrell,
- 37:18head writer and researcher for Glenn Beck,
- 37:20uh,
- 37:20uh,
- 37:21and apparently,
- 37:22uh,
- 37:23FBI witness.
- 37:24I don't,
- 37:24I don't know.
- 37:26Appreciate you coming on,
- 37:26Jason.
- 37:26Consultant,
- 37:27yeah,
- 37:27consultant.
- 37:27There you go.
- 37:28You bet.
- 37:37Noted Russian asset Donald Trump is in the news again.
- 37:41He is warning Russia that he may send Ukraine long
- 37:44range tomahawks if Moscow doesn't settle the war soon.
- 37:48It's an interesting approach
- 37:50from a guy who's dedicated to Vladimir Putin
- 37:53as his main goal in life,
- 37:54but.
- 37:55First of all,
- 37:56he hasn't done it yet,
- 37:56so maybe he won't.
- 37:58It does seem though that there is a change in tone,
- 38:00and this is one of the things that you know
- 38:01kind of follows up on our conversation on Israel today.
- 38:04One of the reasons why Donald Trump is able to get this
- 38:06stuff done is he comes at it from a totally different way,
- 38:09and
- 38:09that doesn't always work,
- 38:10it's not always the best thing to do,
- 38:12frankly,
- 38:13like,
- 38:13I,
- 38:13you know,
- 38:13uh,
- 38:14sometimes it doesn't work,
- 38:15and sometimes it gives you bad results.
- 38:17I'll give you an example,
- 38:18uh if you don't believe me,
- 38:19that I would criticize him on something like this.
- 38:21Like I think the way he treated Canada over the past year has been
- 38:25rough,
- 38:26and I think it led to a bad outcome.
- 38:27I think he gave an election to a a radical left-wing nut job
- 38:32that could have gone to someone sane.
- 38:34Because
- 38:35of the way he stirred things up in Canada,
- 38:37so it's not always great.
- 38:39Israel is a really good version of it,
- 38:41and you know I think
- 38:43the Russian-Ukraine thing is tough because a lot of people will tell you,
- 38:45well,
- 38:45it's not going to work with Russia.
- 38:46They're not going to go along with this,
- 38:48and it might be true,
- 38:49but as I've said for a while here,
- 38:51I think.
- 38:53The fact that we can create an opportunity for something good to happen
- 38:58is sometimes worth just giving it a shot.
- 39:00I mean,
- 39:00what have we lost,
- 39:01you know,
- 39:02when it comes to his approach
- 39:04with Russia?
- 39:05He could have been harder on Russia.
- 39:06He could have been nicer to Russia and harder on Ukraine.
- 39:09He could have
- 39:09changed his formula.
- 39:11I think he's tried both ways.
- 39:12It seems like right now he's saying,
- 39:13look.
- 39:14The problem here is not Zelensky right now.
- 39:16It seems like the problem is Putin,
- 39:18and he's now much more critical of Putin and starting to push more in that direction.
- 39:21We'll see how that goes
- 39:23after sort of the afterglow of Israel
- 39:25fades a little bit.
- 39:26We also have new information from Jasmine Crockett.
- 39:29She's in the polls.
- 39:30Um,
- 39:31let me give you a couple of quick polls here,
- 39:33uh,
- 39:33for the Texas Senate primaries for 2026.
- 39:36Uh,
- 39:36leading the race is Paxton with 34%,
- 39:39Cornyn in 2nd,
- 39:4033%.
- 39:41That's
- 39:41too close for comfort,
- 39:42frankly,
- 39:43uh,
- 39:43in that race.
- 39:44Um,
- 39:44Wesley Hunt is third
- 39:46at 22%.
- 39:47I think all three of them would win
- 39:49against the Democratic opponent,
- 39:51which is why I'm very excited about the Democratic side of this poll,
- 39:54which has Jasmine Crockett leading.
- 39:56Now she's not officially in the race yet,
- 39:58but she's got 31% of the vote.
- 40:00Beto O'Rourke and Tallarico are at 30 or 25%,
- 40:04and the guy that we were told was the secret genius is that.
- 40:0813%,
- 40:09Colin Allred,
- 40:10it doesn't seem like anyone wants him
- 40:12involved.
- 40:12Uh,
- 40:12but
- 40:13I mean,
- 40:13why wouldn't you vote for Jasmine Crockett like after you see
- 40:16an incredible piece of wisdom,
- 40:18uh,
- 40:18like this.
- 40:19I cast my no vote
- 40:20because ain't nobody come at me and ask me what the people in my district need.
- 40:24They didn't ask me what would look good for those in South Dallas.
- 40:28They didn't ask me.
- 40:29About that.
- 40:30So listen,
- 40:31I got people that I serve
- 40:32that are counting on me to do their work and to be their voice and not work for him.
- 40:37I don't work for him.
- 40:37He can't hire me.
- 40:38He can't fire me.
- 40:39The people that elected me in Texas 30 did.
- 40:42So unless you wanna have a conversation with me
- 40:44about the priorities for the people in my district,
- 40:47baby,
- 40:47you're not getting this vote.
- 40:49So listen.
- 40:50He can do whatever he wants to do,
- 40:52but this will be on the Republicans.
- 40:54I need people to tune in
- 40:56and learn how to count
- 40:57and learn who controls what.
- 40:59If you want things to function,
- 41:01maybe put the Democrats back in control.
- 41:03Now,
- 41:03I know people got beef with the Democrats not
- 41:05being as aggressive as we should have been,
- 41:07especially since we got him over here just
- 41:09running ramshop over everything.
- 41:12But at a very minimum,
- 41:13you can always count
- 41:15on there being levelheadedness
- 41:17and responsibility
- 41:18when it comes to Democrats because they care about federal workers,
- 41:22they care about our constituents and making sure that those
- 41:25services are still available because when the government shuts down,
- 41:28then that impacts our constituents directly,
- 41:30it does.
- 41:32Uh,
- 41:33I don't know if after that rant you want to be talking about levelheadedness.
- 41:37I don't know if that's the exact appropriate time for that,
- 41:40um,
- 41:40but I will say I totally agree with the sentence.
- 41:43I cast my no vote because ain't nobody coming in me.
- 41:48I mean,
- 41:48I don't,
- 41:48I don't think you can deny that.
- 41:49Uh,
- 41:49finally,
- 41:50last,
- 41:50uh,
- 41:50piece that we have Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are together.
- 41:54Uh,
- 41:54of course,
- 41:55100% organic news release.
- 41:56This was definitely not,
- 41:58uh,
- 41:58these pictures that are taken from a distance,
- 42:01definitely not.
- 42:02They didn't know this was coming at all.
- 42:04They definitely not,
- 42:05uh,
- 42:06you know.
- 42:07Uh,
- 42:07completely leaked to the media intentionally.
- 42:09Um,
- 42:10she goes from,
- 42:10uh,
- 42:11what was the elf in the Lord of the Rings,
- 42:13uh,
- 42:13to,
- 42:14um,
- 42:15to the Canadian Prime Minister.
- 42:16Is that a step up or step down?
- 42:18I,
- 42:18I would say it's a step down.
- 42:20I mean,
- 42:20I don't know.
- 42:21Can we,
- 42:21uh,
- 42:21can we look at the headline again?
- 42:22Cause I'm not sure if I can tell from that distance with the telephoto lens
- 42:27whether,
- 42:27uh,
- 42:28he was wearing
- 42:29blackface or not on the date.
- 42:32Uh,
- 42:32but,
- 42:32uh,
- 42:33really happy for them and,
- 42:34uh,
- 42:35certainly will be another fruitful relationship for Katy Perry.
- 42:38Back in a second.
- 42:50OK,
- 42:51so here's what happened.
- 42:52You know,
- 42:52a lot of people,
- 42:53uh,
- 42:53know the truth,
- 42:54which is,
- 42:55of course,
- 42:55everything natural is always better than anything man-made.
- 42:58This is why I'm sitting to you in an air conditioned studio,
- 43:01um.
- 43:03Forget I mentioned that,
- 43:04but I,
- 43:05I should point out that if you're ever sick,
- 43:07obviously the answer is always a natural solution.
- 43:10You know,
- 43:10ancient Chinese secret,
- 43:11right?
- 43:11You go to that,
- 43:13most of the time,
- 43:14at least,
- 43:14a Chinese woman has swallowed 8 live frogs to ease her back pain.
- 43:18You're gonna be shocked to hear.
- 43:21She should have gone Advil instead,
- 43:22I would say,
- 43:23it didn't work out very well.
- 43:24Some digestive problems.
- 43:26Look,
- 43:26you're an idiot
- 43:27if you swallow 8 live frogs,
- 43:29I wouldn't go over 5.
- 43:31At least,
- 43:31uh,
- 43:31well,
- 43:32I mean,
- 43:32at least not in one day.
- 43:34I mean,
- 43:34come on,
- 43:34in a week,
- 43:35sure.
