- Molly: Hello and welcome to Bona and Mira Tarot, the delightfully irresponsible little sibling of Bona and Mira Tarot. My name is Molly and each week three Tarot cards will enter this podcast. One will get fucked, one married and one will get pushed off a cliff. It's childish, it is completely subjective and it is surprisingly revealing. Because if you know me and you know Bona Mira Tarot, you'll know that I don't believe that the tarot is about predicting the future. It's a mirror, a way of meeting yourself through symbolism, psychology, embodiment, and the wisdom of the cards. And Bona and Mira Tarot takes exactly the same approach, just with a lot more giggling. So in just 15 minutes, we'll put three tarot archetypes through the highly scientific and deeply philosophical game of fuck, marry, push off a cliff. Which archetype deserves your undying devotion? Which one's worth a passionate fling? And which one absolutely needs to get into the sea? Along the way, we'll explore what the cards reveal about attraction, avoidance, projection, shadow, values, and the wonderfully strange way we make meaning. Expect depth psychology, archetypes, embodiment, the odd tantric tangents, and plenty of opportunities to laugh at yourself. No fortune telling, no spiritual perfection, just three cards, one ridiculous dilemma and whatever they happen to reveal. So whether you're here for the psychology, the tarot or your own deeply irrational grudge against the Seven of Cups, welcome to Bona and Mirra Tarot. Let's shuffle the cards, suspend our dignity and see who's getting married today. Hello and welcome back to another episode of Bona and Miratorro. I am so excited to welcome a very, very dear friend of mine to the podcast today. So I am joined by Megan Fields. yeah, mean, Megan's a wonderfully amazing friend to me and I'm just so deeply honored that you're here. would, yeah, please can you tell the listeners a little bit about who you are, what you do, your relationship to meaning making, maybe a little bit about a relationship to Tarot. Yeah, just, yeah, tell us who you are. Meghan: Thank you so much for having me, Molly. It is delightful to be here with you because you are delightful. And every time we spend together, we just make some glorious magic and have a lot of fun. And it just feels like heart to heart, soul to soul all the time, whether that's through Instagram, WhatsApp, in person, and now through this podcast. So yay, thank you so much for having me. So who am I? Like so we're I need I have about 30 minutes just for my intro. No. briefly who I am is we were just saying before pressing record that it's it's hard to just put it into one one tagline. I'm a classic Gemini hummingbird, mm polymath, mac you know, like manifesting generator. So I do a lot of things, but at the heart of who I am is a a social justice activist and community connector and organizer. So my whole life purpose is to leave the world a better place than I found that, and I do that through a variety of ways, mostly trying to ensure that people, but generally women, live lives free from violence and abuse and Get ever clearer on who they are and how they want to move through the world in an empowered way. The main ways I do that, I'm the violence against women and girls, domestic abuse and sexual violence strategic lead for the city of Plymouth. I've been working in ending domestic abuse and sexual violence for over 20 years here in the UK and longer in the Americas. And the other way I do that is through running Sacred Kerno, which is an inclusive community in Cornwall, where which is where I live. I live on the ancient Celtic lands of Curno, and I run retreats, workshops, events, and circles for anyone who wants to come to have a more in-depth connection to themselves, to community, to lineage, to land, and to spirit. So I do a whole lot of different things, but for me, there's this universal golden thread of everything that runs through the work that I do, which is empowerment, embodiment. And ensuring that everyone, particularly Folks that might have experienced life on the margins are centered and can do have what they need, have the skills, have the tools, have the resources that they need to live the li live the lives that they want to live, that they're put on this planet in this lifetime to do. So that's me. I'm and I should say I am you know, we are recording this. we're both based in the UK, but I of course am not from the UK, you can tell by my accent. Although it's you I really do feel like I sound British after 20 years here, but I've been told otherwise. I'm originally France. the unceded stolen lands of the Wampanoag, which is currently known as Boston, Massachusetts. And I grew up on those lands and moved to Nicaragua when I was 22 and then moved here to the UK when I was well twenty years ago now. then you can surmise all of my ages. but and and this is where I call home now and I'm really lucky to live here in Cornwall. And when you first asked me to do this, I I panicked because I was like, I, you know, I I've dabbled in tarot, but I'm not a you know, I'm not fluent in it. and you know, I learned to read tarot actually on a tour with New Age travel in Salem, Massachusetts. I grew up not too far away from Salem, and so I was the way I first learned with the was to pull cards with the founder of Now Age Travel and we just went from place to place in Salem and we read the cards and she told me about the symbolism and the history. and that was it, you know, it was r Molly: Thank Meghan: it I love that. I love that really embodied. Application and that bodied way of of being introduced to and learning tarot. What Molly: you Meghan: I what I am more familiar with are oracle cards, I've you know created a few decks. but generally, like throughout my whole life, what's been really easy for me is to is to find meaning, meaning and metaphor in the world around me. You know, I have a of a number of academic degrees. One is in philosophy and the symbolism and the ways that human humans have have organized their lives through metaphor and stories. And symbolism is really, really fascinating to me. And I love that about Tarot. I love the depth of the symbolism. I love that there's so many different decks now that are, you know, that involve artistry and activism and culture and perspective. That's really that's all very, really exciting to me. And yeah, that I guess like, you know, how I express my creativity is often through the either the making of meaning. or the deconstruction of meaning through symbolism, through art, through image, through words. So I'm really excited about today. And yeah, that that's that's me in a nutshell. Molly: thank you so much. I'm just sat here with goosebumps as I'm listening to you and all of your wonderful work and how much meaning you have brought to my life. So I am, yeah, super, super deeply grateful that you're here. And just a note on what you're saying about kind of your fluency with the Tarot. The the intention of the podcast really isn't to... You know, I'm not expecting you to come on here and be fluent with the cards. I'm also a languages teacher, so I would say the same way that I teach languages, I don't think we can ever be 100 % fluent. There's always more to learn, but I think that for me, it's all about accessing symbol and meaning. so are you ready to make some questionable choices with the tarot? Meghan: Indeed. Indeed I am. Let's do this. Molly: let's do this i'm so excited we will play the very very scientific game of fuck mary push up the cliff Okay, we've got some good ones coming out. There's definitely gonna be some. interesting chats. So we've got a card which I feel like you'll recognise which is the star. Meghan: Mm. Molly: So we've got the star, we have the king of cups. you Meghan: Okay. Molly: And then we have the seven of pentacles. Yeah. Meghan: Okay, we're gonna have to look back at those, because I have just some initial feelings about Molly: Please do. Meghan: like it's you know, those initial feelings about the cards and then the images particularly with this deck, you know, like Molly: Yeah. Meghan: you know, just like initial initial vibes like King of Cups. I'm like, yeah, that's like I you know, I like that. I like that. I like the vibe of it. I want you know, then I'm looking at that image and I'm like, that looks like a you know, like a a false, like feminist, fake cacao wielding spiritual bro dude and I'm like, I know exactly what I wanna do with that guy. You know what I mean? But we're Molly: This is weird. Meghan: gonna have to we're gonna have to negotiate some of the some of the images versus the symbolism. So like but I will step back and yield to your expertise. Molly: Well, I see what you mean with this particular depiction and I do think that in its shadow elements there probably could be some of what you described. But we'll just do a quick rundown of what the cards mean, just so that we can get kind of an idea of the general meaning. So the star, I'll start with the star because she is just utterly one of my favourite cards in the deck. So the star is a major arcana card that comes directly after the tower. And so if the tower can be described as this moment of transformation and change, it's a little bit like the rug being pulled from beneath your feet. And the way that I like to describe it is that every time that we affirm something that we are, we place a brick in the tower. So, and those affirmations can be things that are story led or they can be true to who we are, but it'll be things like, I'm intelligent, I'm clever, I am a teacher, I am a student. And the higher that we build this tower, sometimes we can really, yeah, we can block ourselves into who we say we are. And sometimes in life, life comes along and it's like, hey, I think I'm gonna knock down this tower of everything that you thought you were. and something will happen. know, Megan, you know my story and you probably can think of moments in my life where I've had a big huge shift of actually no wrong direction. We're to have to completely readjust. And of course those moments are quite destabilizing and really difficult. But the card that comes after is the star. And she's not a card of like, everything's fixed now. Like you're all done. But she is. If the bricks of who you think you are are kind of on the floor, crumbled, and you look up and you see one singular star, and you have that moment of hope of like, you know, it's not all lost. I'm going to use this star to guide me home, to rebuild who I am in a more authentic way. So we often call it the healing waters of the star as she tends to your wounds from the fall of the tower. So that's her. The King of Cups, so he's a minor card in the suit of the cups and cups is our card of if we're thinking about it in kind of a Jungian psychology way, he would be the feeling function. So this is how we perceive and navigate and move through life through the lens of the heart and value what is important to us, what is valuable to us through, you know, we're not using the logical brain in the suit of the cups, we're using the feeling and if you've ever heard me talk about the way in which I navigate my life, sometimes I talk about this little wooden circle that I have on my altar that I call the Feelings Compass and that is all because of you, Megan. So if you think Feelings Compass for your reference for that. And the King is a mature expression of relationship to the feeling function. When we have kind of like page, knight, queen, king, we're thinking of our development with our relationship. Page is that that child, new, excited energy. Knight is the teenager, the one who like is all go and thinks he knows everything, but actually is like, hang on a minute, I wasn't as developed as I thought I was. And then you get to the queen and the king and the king is the disseminator. So he's asking the question of like, I've built a mature relationship with feelings and now how can I use that as a steward? How can I offer that back into the world? So he is very in tune with value and heart, but uses it in a way to, yeah, how can I offer this out into community? And then the seven of pentacles, pentacles is the suit of earth and the suit of embodiment and the suit of being. What does it mean to exist in the physical world? And the seven is, it's a funny card because the seven is normally the card of paradox or the trickster energy. And the thing that I love about this particular depiction is I think it really encapsulates exactly what I think about when I think of the seven of pentacles. And that is you've sown all the seeds, you've put in all of the hard work and outgrows a very small plant. Now the man depicted in this card has kind of gone. got his hand over it and he's hovering and he's looking at what he's grown, but he doesn't see the entirety of the roots that are there. And so sometimes the paradox of the seven of pentacles can be that moment where you've put in loads of effort, you've put in loads of hard work, but you can't see the full results or you can't see immediate results. And it's that paradox of like, well, what is my version of success here? Because sometimes there can be a lack of patience around. I want the results now, I want the fruit now, rather than kind of pulling back into a space where it's like, I wonder what's rooting under here, because the roots are always deeper than what you can see visibly. Like, The Seven of Pentacles calls me out on my bullshit quite a lot when I need to kind of sit back and remember, actually, my view of success is kind of a long history of my life of like what success looks like, when actually, putting in the effort could be considered success. So those are the three cards. I'm wondering what you're thinking. Meghan: I just wanna marry them all. Molly: I know. I think this is the problem is like almost every episode I'm like, it's not fuck, fuck, fuck, or it's not fuck, marry, marry. It is fuck, marry, push off a cliff. So we have some difficult choices to make. Meghan: We really do. I mean I'll I'll I'm just gonna have to go with my heart and initial vibes. Like I'm gonna Molly: Mm-hmm. Meghan: have So I love you all call the cards are lovely and the way thank you so much for going through them and I feel really I can really see parts of my life and my experience in all of them. My initial feeling, let's start where we ended, is the Seven of Pentacles. I'm really sorry, but I'm gonna have to push you off a cliff. and I'll tell you for why. It's cause I'm not very patient. and being like being someone who has a thousand and one ideas, like you know. So like my Mercury is in Gemini. So if that what that means is that like the way I learn, the way I process, the way I like I'm really, really curious. I like starting things. I like you know, like I said, I generate, I generate, I generate. I have like I have a million and one ideas. And like you know, sticking around to like see them all grow or like like nourishing each one and like having the patience to do everything. Like I'm, you know, in my work, I'm a strategic lead. So like I get a lot of projects going and then I'm like, over to you friends, like I'm out. Like so yeah, I like I see like I like to see that like that that Like I sow a lot of seeds, I you know, I put in the hard work and like yeah, I like to see like the little shoot come up, but like by the time like I'm not waiting around, like next thing, let's move on. Come on. We have a lot to do. So I guess like that patience, that like drawing on that patience of like waiting and nurturing and just like and then knowing that like there's that little s the little the little sprig coming up and I still have to like do the waiting and the more work. No, fuck off. Like you're gonna have to I'm gonna have to push you off a cliff. Like I don't have time for it. I'm so sorry, Seven of Pentacles. Like I get it. And that's why I'd like, you know, I Yeah, I hear you. You're calling me out on my lack of patience. I get ya. And no, thank you. Like I had to make I had to make a tough call. I appreciate you. And I've been there many times. Like like this whole last year of my life has been a you know a seven of pentacles like from from January to June and and you know in my personal life and all the things that I've had to do in terms of like, you know, for my son this past year and and creating miracles for him. And those miracles took time and hard work and hundreds of emails, like d days and weeks of My life of like advocating for him and you know it like and it was it wasn't just one one little shoot coming up. I had to like there were like multiple shoots to create this this ecosystem of of support and safety and love for him. And Jesus, like I had to be patient about it. So I feel like I've lived the Seven of Pentacles life this year, and I'm okay now. Goodbye, go off a cliff. Like I'm I'm done. Molly: it. Meghan: No more patience. Like I need action. Let's go. Molly: I just love the vision of like the Seven of Pentacles being there teaching you something and like the lesson is so good. Like the Seven of Pentacles comes up for me often when I'm like, what's the next thing? And I just imagine him standing there being like, this is my offering to you. And you're like, yeah, cool, whatever, bye. I don't need it. Meghan: Yeah. No. Like, thank you so much. Like I've I really take your lesson. I feel like we spent a lot of time together, you know, through like the first half of twenty twenty six and I'm I'm done. Like just walk off a cliff for me for the rest of the year. Like can we just see some development? Can we see some actions? Can we see some quick working miracles for me? Like I'd love that so much. Thank you so much. and yes, we've had some time together, but done. Okay. But I had to say goodbye to one. You know, it's like, you know Molly: Hmm, bye bye! I'll be there. You do? Yeah, I think I would agree with you with the choices that we have left, 100%. Okay, so you now have to either fuck the star or the king of cups and marry the other. Meghan: Okay. Mm. I mean it's pretty Molly: All right. Meghan: like I'm d again, I'm just gonna go with my initial feelings around this. Molly: Do it. Meghan: so The you know, and I'll tell you, I'm a little conflicted, but let's let's go for let's go for the King of Cups next. Let's work our way backwards. so the King of Cups, right? Like on the surface, you know, and I got this initially from reading, like on the surface, it's like like a lovely card, you know, in in terms of like, yeah, would I want to marry someone who's like who's maturely you know, who's emotionally mature and has like done the work and has evolved and you know, who who can like express themselves maturely. like, you know, in a really deep way and and so much so that they're like, I'm gonna help other people. Like I'm gonna do this for the good of the I'm gonna like my my like my authenticity and my heartlet expression is gonna benefit other people and I'm like, yeah, that sounds like then I'm like, my god, you sound like that would irritate me after time. Like it sounds like the, you know, the the shaman cacao wielding like spiritual bro and that would annoy Molly: and I will be. Meghan: me. So I think, you know, I'm gonna say it, I think like I wouldn't want to be in a long term relationship with that. It feels like a little exhausting, a little too much, a little maybe self-righteous king, you know. So I'm Molly: it. Meghan: gonna probably have a really nice, like really nice like this isn't this isn't an imaginary tarot world where I'm not a happily married woman and all of that kind of thing. Like I would have like a really nice like holiday, you know, romance and bali with the King of Cups and that would be it. Like so it's gonna have to be the fuck to the King of Cups because I can't Molly: Yeah. Meghan: I don't think I could deal with that long term. You know what mean? Molly: I think, yeah, no, I totally feel you. I think that like, whenever we're looking at the cards, we always want to look at the full spectrum. And I think that the shadow of the King of Cups could be spiritual narcissism. Meghan: Yes. Molly: And I think that because he is deeply attuned to his emotions, but because there is that, the King often has this energy of giving outwards. The Queens are often nourishing of self, and then the King is the steward of the knowledge. And I think that there is a shadow potential there for instuiting that knowledge of the emotional self could tip over into spiritual narcissism. Meghan: Yeah. Giving me ex-husband vibes and also don't tell me how to feel. You know what I mean? Like I will feel how I want to feel. Like and I've really worked Molly: Hmm. Meghan: on that in my life. So don't tell me how to do it. That really fucks me right off. at anyone. So I'm just like, nah, I couldn't do that long term. And yeah, just annoying. No, thank you. Molly: Hmm, no thanks, bye bye. Well not bye Meghan: Sorry. Molly: bye, like, I'll fuck you for, and then you can go. Meghan: Exactly. Like, we'll have a nice weekend and then I'll just walk away because kind of exhausting. all right, so that leaves the star. And you know, my initial when you pulled it, my initial my before you even told me the deeper meaning, my initial was marry. And again, I'll I'll explain why. and how that really like I think actually mirrors you know, who I've married and why and when I got married to them. I think I love the idea in in a relationship because like relationship so think about like marriage or like long term companionship, like You know, that there are like to be with someone for a longer period of time, like you will go through so much. You know, you'll go through so many external things, you'll go through so many internal things and your identity and your, you know, different like big and small parts of you over time will inevitably change. So you'll go through all of these tower moments and relationships. Like, you know, and and and and at the same time I love what you said about like you know, like as you go through you add these bricks and then sometimes parts of the tower crumbles and then you rebuild in a different way. And the idea of having someone walking next to you through those tower moments, through those through that building deconstruction and rebuilding, like to be that star, to say, Hey, like I'm Molly: it. Meghan: gonna tend to you and tend to our relationship through those you know, through the change and I'm gonna be the the light and the hope after you know, like with whatever we're gonna go through. Because like, you know, it's easy to it's so easy to be the star for someone. when everything's going great, when you have a lot of money in the bank, when, you know, your jobs are going well, like when you can take really nice holidays all the time. When like, you know, when when you're jointly and separately, like things are going well. And like that's you know, that's wonderful, but that's not life. And having someone who can like I love what you said, who like, you know, who can also walk with you for the rebuilding parts and to help guide you home is really important. And, you know, I my husband and I, we got married on the the winter solstice. And the symbolism of the winter solstice is that is the returning of the light. And I thought, like, what a beautiful, symbolic and meaningful way to begin a marriage than to promise and to commit to one another under this energy of the returning of the light. Because like no matter what you go through, like there's the star, there's the light to, you know, that you can return to, to, you know, to bring each other home and to be there. that and you know I I I sp in my part of my vows and then you know I turned it into a little little disc that now sits on a hedgerow in the biggest labyrinth in the UK which happens to be about 20 minutes from where we live a place called Kedroya and you know the the tab that like I got so basically you can like pledge a meter of this of this labyrinth when it was being built and you know you have these little little discs where you can write a few lines on it and my you know basically my I took the lines from our bows like to basically say like you know I will be your lighthouse guiding you home back home to love, back home to each other, back home to you know to ourselves. And so that's how I see the star. You know, I see the star as as as that as that light that like that you know that light that two people are for one another in those long-term relationships hopefully where you can you know where you can you can do that for one another. It's not just one person, it's a per it it's that relationship of of support and and hope and and home. So yeah I'm gonna marry the star. Molly: thank you so much. I couldn't agree with you more. And I think that I, the star has actually come up in another kind of in my bulk recording has come up another time. And again, it was that Mary and just for me, if you strip away to the bare bones of what like we want relationship to be, it is that you can hold each other through. the messy experience of being human and in some of your darkest moments that they are that guiding light for you. Specifically, I just love the tower and the star as a combination. They might just be my favourite cards in the deck purely because the tower is that reiteration of self again and again and again and how you want somebody who is going to grow with you through that relationship and I think the star really represents that kind of you know, like we think about the North Star, it's like the brightest star in the sky or like it stays in kind of in that in place as you change and move and it's going to stay there and it's just going to always be there. And that is, mean, ultimately, I think even out of the whole tarot deck, that would be the archetype that I would choose to marry again and again and again is someone that is just going to be there through every iteration, every reiteration of Molly again and again. Meghan: Absolutely. and I I think that there's there's something really stabilizing about that. And you know, there's a lot of reasons that people choose to be in relationship and particularly in long term relationships and you know, that being a foundation that you know, that can grow and change and and and and mirror back to you is is is one of the biggest reasons to be in relationship, right? Like, yes, the love Molly: What? Meghan: and the excitement and all of that kind of thing, those are those are really important. Of course they are. but you know, there's so many we are in relationship with so many people, right? Like with colleagues and friends and family and children and and animals and like all of these thing and and work and like and and hobbies and and things we get excited about. Like but that like choosing one person to like do like the bulk of life with Like that that being able to move and grow and and tend and and nourish and be a home to one another, like that is that's what I think marriage is about. That's what I think like being in, you know, a long-term you know, a long-term like intimate partner relationship is about. So like I think the star really epitomizes that and you know it's a Molly: And. Meghan: lovely it's you know it's a lovely sentiment. You know, I want I you know I want a bit of the Seven of Pentacles, right? I want a bit of the, you know, I want a bit of the Like the patience in you know, the all these like, you know, t these are all such rel it's such a relational question for the podcast, but all of the cards are so relational to self, to others, you know, to you know, to to community, to lineage, to spirit, all of it. But like, you know, I want some of the Seven of Pentacles in my life, right? And, you know, I think the the lessons of of you know, the thing that the some of the things that are worth doing and worth having and worth achieving do take time. I'm like, you know, this year has been a huge Huge teacher in that for me, you know, that we you know we got we got my amazing son to a really good place, but it took a lot of hard work to get there and and that it's not like sometimes like those sometimes those little those little shoots of plants, like, you know, like you even see them come up and like if the conditions change, like look at where we're in, like we're recording this in the middle of a drought, right? Like there's so many, you know, there's so much that like I I've watched like half of my garden, you know, wither this year and because it just Don't have the conditions. And so, you know, that like the creating the conditions in relationship and in life and in the things that really matter takes effort and takes intention and you know and and takes miracles sometimes, right? And like, yeah, like that's Molly: I mean. Meghan: of course, of course. I can do without the trickster energy, because you know, I don't have time for that. Like, that's annoying. Molly: Yeah. Meghan: But you know, I want it straightforward, like my you know, like my neurodiverse tendencies likes a bit of like straightforwardness, so to sit to be like have the little shoot. up be no it's disappearing you didn't do you gotta do you gotta pivot you gotta do i'm like no that's that's too much but i i i want that in my life i do want you know i want to be around people who know themselves and know themselves emotionally like the king of cups and and who are you know who are fluent and literate and speaking the language of the heart like i love being around people who are heart led like you know in my you know through you know through the practice that you know that we that we share which is koya which is an embodied movement practice like through that like I've met some of the most heart-led emotionally literate, people who share so many of my own values, who are teachers and leaders and who are in service to sharing their learning and their, you know, and their their heart-led way of being, their embodied way of being with other people. Like I love being around folks like that. I really do. you know, but I can imagine like in a in a maybe in an intimate partner relationship, it's a little too much all the time. Like I Molly: you Meghan: also, I'm, you know, I'm I'm a Gemini as well. So like sometimes I love, like I wanna I want to talk and I wanna like know everything and I want to like get get really focused. I want to hear everything. And other times I don't want to be around anyone. I don't want to talk to you. I don't want to listen to you. I don't wanna know. I don't care. You know, like I need to tend to myself in a dark room. with a book or TikTok, maybe both. You know, so like so it's like it you know, a little bit of everything, like a little bit of all the tarot cards is, you know, that's what that's what they are. Like that's what tarot is. It's a it's for me anyways, it's a reflection of of the of the life and lived experience that we are all inevitably gonna go through. And so, you know, I'm forty-eight now and like getting to forty eight without having had experiences probably throughout all of the cards. All the 778 cards in the tarot. Like, I probably would struggle not to find an example of my a relational example of my life from each of the cards. And that's what I love about that. Like it just they're mirrors. And that's what tarot and Oracle has always been for me. It's like you pull a card and then you make meaning of it based on the meaning of your life, usually at that present moment. So, you know, when I pull a card in the morning or when I invite people to pull cards in the spaces that I hold, it's like, you know, just notice how that card is. meeting you and your heart today. You know, that's the Molly: Hmm. Meghan: simple question. And so and you know, if you pulled the same card, it's like, you know, perhaps if you if you pulled these three cards, you know, in a year's time, I might have a slightly different take on them because I'm different in a year's time. And just as like if I, you know, if if I pulled a, you know, if I pulled like, you know, if I pulled the priestess tomorrow versus like the priestess ten years ago, it's gonna have a different meaning for me in terms of how I relate to it from myself and my life experience because, you know, a decade A day, a week goes by, and I have a I'm I'm in a different part of my cycle. The moon's doing something different, like you know, it's a different Molly: Thank you. Meghan: season, you know. It's like all of these things correspond and have, you know, and I have like help to layer our to layer my own personal meaning onto the cards. And and I love that. I love it. And I love that you're talking to so many different people, some of whom are like deeply immersed in tarot, and other folks like me who, you know, know a bit, know enough. and you know, of course I've learned even more today from the this podcast and and I will like you know I I have like a deeper relationship now with these three cards than I did before and I love that. But ultimately Molly: Thank you. Meghan: I have a deeper relationship with myself through the lens of these cards. And that's the that's that's why I love them so much because they're tools for for connection to self and making deeper meaning of your own life, of my own life. Molly: I mean, thank you so much for essentially articulating exactly what I hope that this podcast will be. And it's no mistake that it's called Bona and Mirror Tarot. It's no mistake that the questions are, fuck, marry, push off a cliff. It's no mistake that you're allowed to be explicit and talk about, you know, is this card going to know how to be good in bed or et cetera, et cetera. because I want it to be fun and I want it to be enjoyable to listen to but ultimately what my hope is is that people listen, people come on and be a guest and learn how to relate to cymbal in a new way and learn a little bit more about themselves and I certainly am in playing this game with people and also learning a bit more about myself and I'm like okay was I projecting there or what was I doing like If I pulled these three cards at different time in my life, who would I have fucked, who would I have married? That is the point. So thank you so much for articulating it so beautifully. And I'm so deeply grateful for all of your wisdom and your heart. And I love you very much. So thank you for coming on the podcast. Meghan: Thank you for having me. I love you very much too. I love everything that you do. I'm really jazzed that you're that this is the next creative project that you're working on. And you know, I've had the opportunity to play this game with you just earlier this year at a retreat here at the house. And it was just wonderful to you know, there was a group of us, a group of KOIA teachers, and you gave us a beautiful tarot workshop, which we were all like frantically taking notes on and like, you know, and asking a million questions and then you know, you do s you do this you do your work, you do all of your work in in such a accessible and clear way. And you know, you you give this information in a way that's very, very relatable. And then you're like, okay, now we're gonna play some games. And Molly: you Meghan: that makes it even more relatable. So when you're like when I was like, my god, yes, you're turning this game into the game that that helps folks relate in a really in a a really human way to the cards, when you're turning this into podcast, I was very excited. So thank you so much for having me. I'm really grateful to be here. Molly: Thank you so much. Are you happy with your choices? We've, yeah? Meghan: Yes. Locking in. Locking in. Molly: Locking them in. So we're gonna, we're gonna fuck the king of cups. We're gonna marry the star. And I'm so sorry, son of Pentacles, with your beautifully wonderful lessons of patience, you are going off the cliff. Bye bye. Meghan: Goodbye. Thank you. Thank you for the lessons. See you maybe never. Thank you so much. Molly: Never again. Okay, well, thank you so much to Megan. Your info and how you can connect with Megan will be in the description notes. So please do go and check out her work. And if you ever get the chance to go to Sacred Canoe for one of her retreats, you will be changed. It's life changing. So please do check her out. But I will end the podcast episode here slightly longer than the... the 15 to 20 minutes that we promised but I genuinely didn't think that that would happen between you and I anyway so I have to put a little warning note on like this is longer than expected because the two of us got in a room together but yes I'm gonna end that here and just say a final thank you to you and a thank you to all of our listeners and I see you next time bye bye And that is a wrap for this episode of Bona and Mira Tarot. A huge thank you and shout out to my guests for joining me and making some truly questionable life choices on behalf of the tarot. If you enjoyed this episode, I'd love it if you subscribed, left a review or shared it with someone who'd definitely have an argument with a tarot card.
