- 0:41Speaker 3: Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to this week's episode of
- 0:44Speaker 3: Kats and Pudding. And today I have not only a
- 0:48Speaker 3: great gas, but I have a great co host with
- 0:51Speaker 3: me today.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Guess is a little better? I guess a little better?
- 0:55Speaker 4: I sucked it over? Hey, guess what? Never related? Which
- 0:59Speaker 4: is a thank you Jenn for having me?
- 1:02Speaker 5: You know what, I think I have a lot to
- 1:04Speaker 5: say to your guests. Okay, however, great co host, I
- 1:09Speaker 5: love you, thank you so much.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Excellent.
- 1:11Speaker 5: However, your guest that is here, she knows I'm my
- 1:14Speaker 5: biggest Cheerlita, okay, And.
- 1:16Speaker 4: I do have a lot of things I like to
- 1:17Speaker 4: say to other than that.
- 1:20Speaker 5: However, I'm not gonna because she's she's got a bigger
- 1:23Speaker 5: vocabulary and she'll be calling me names and I wouldn't
- 1:26Speaker 5: even know what they meant, but your guests might.
- 1:29Speaker 4: So with that being said, do you mind if I
- 1:31Speaker 4: introduced her? Absolutely? Please?
- 1:33Speaker 5: Here we have my younger sister, Jennifer Greziano, the creator
- 1:38Speaker 5: and the executive producer of Mob Wives, The Big An Show,
- 1:42Speaker 5: The Drunken Monkey, The Miami The Miami Monkey. Yeah, they
- 1:46Speaker 5: were all Drunken The Miami Monkey, and many more, with
- 1:50Speaker 5: a lot of new projects to come, especially her own
- 1:53Speaker 5: project that she's working on.
- 1:55Speaker 6: Take take away, Jenny, Welcome, I showed Jen. I'm glad
- 1:59Speaker 6: to have you. Thank you, thank you.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Thank you for being hanging around with us today.
- 2:03Speaker 4: I was here all day.
- 2:05Speaker 6: Wow, I was just you know, I watched all your
- 2:06Speaker 6: previous guests that were very fun, especially the last one.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Very informative, right, very informative, isn't it?
- 2:14Speaker 7: Yes, yes, I would wonder if that's okay?
- 2:17Speaker 5: But okay, well, yeah he's rich, I guess, so, yeah, yeah,
- 2:21Speaker 5: he has a magazine and a podcast.
- 2:24Speaker 6: I know, I'm just like programmed to think and they're
- 2:25Speaker 6: all dead to ever say a thing.
- 2:27Speaker 8: They're all dead.
- 2:27Speaker 4: No, not one of them. Oh, I don't know.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Nothing busy, but aside from the guests that you listen to.
- 2:39Speaker 5: So I wanted to have well, Jen wanted to have
- 2:42Speaker 5: you on, and it just worked so well that I
- 2:45Speaker 5: was actually co hosting. I would love for you to
- 2:47Speaker 5: tell everyone some of the new projects, especially the immersive theater.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Oh, because it has to do it just because it
- 2:56Speaker 6: has something to.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Do with me, she said, start with that one.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Because that's our project. That's our project coming up in February.
- 3:03Speaker 5: So that's the one that's it's gonna hit sooner rather
- 3:07Speaker 5: than later, thank you.
- 3:08Speaker 6: So yeah, it's actually a fun one. We're putting it
- 3:11Speaker 6: together now. Actually we're going in reverse. So I'm like
- 3:14Speaker 6: the type of person that if I book something and
- 3:17Speaker 6: I know it's coming up, I'll make it happen faster. Okay,
- 3:20Speaker 6: So it's it's already booked. I haven't even put it
- 3:22Speaker 6: together yet, but we're starting and it's it's immersive theater.
- 3:26Speaker 6: So I don't know, if you get familiar with like
- 3:28Speaker 6: a Tony and Tina's wedding, yes, or the big eighties
- 3:31Speaker 6: prom that type of that's coming back big time now.
- 3:34Speaker 6: So you have Netflix that are building all these Netflix
- 3:36Speaker 6: houses all over the country, whether it's in Vegas or Texas,
- 3:40Speaker 6: and they're you know, giving you they call it IRL
- 3:43Speaker 6: in real life experiences, connecting with the content. So there's
- 3:47Speaker 6: like a Stranger Things house, they'd probably be a hunting
- 3:50Speaker 6: wive's house, which I really want to see what's up.
- 3:54Speaker 6: And then you have like companies like a twenty four
- 3:56Speaker 6: in just bought a theater, Cherry Lane Theater downtown and
- 3:59Speaker 6: they're bringing back this whole immersive in IRL experience. So
- 4:03Speaker 6: what we're doing is we're taking a piece of that
- 4:06Speaker 6: and we're creating our own, which I'm not going to
- 4:08Speaker 6: get into too many details of what it is, but
- 4:09Speaker 6: I'm sure you could imagine, but different and more fun,
- 4:14Speaker 6: way more fun. And then we're taking it to Vegas.
- 4:18Speaker 6: I'm talking to the Plaza Hotel right now. I love
- 4:21Speaker 6: about Atlantic City, Atlantic City, Rhode Island, Long Island, and
- 4:28Speaker 6: we're actually doing our first one Valentine's Day as a test.
- 4:32Speaker 6: We're on in New Jersey. Nice, so that's coming up.
- 4:35Speaker 6: And then I've been you know, I spent the last
- 4:39Speaker 6: five years, I want to say, since COVID just really
- 4:41Speaker 6: writing and incubating news stories and trying to figure out
- 4:44Speaker 6: how to tell different stories because I don't want to
- 4:48Speaker 6: be a little miss mob girl. Yes, you know, and
- 4:50Speaker 6: obviously it's my job. Yeah, and you can have it
- 4:53Speaker 6: and you do it well, but I you know, obviously
- 4:57Speaker 6: that's my brand because that's what I launched on. So
- 4:59Speaker 6: We're gonna, you know, look to bring Mob Wives back,
- 5:01Speaker 6: but and do some immersive theater in the space and
- 5:05Speaker 6: some other projects. But I'm kind of writing in different
- 5:08Speaker 6: spaces while taking sort of my background and the things
- 5:11Speaker 6: I've learned growing up, but applying them into other types
- 5:14Speaker 6: of shows.
- 5:15Speaker 8: Well your life story, well, yeah that I have.
- 5:19Speaker 6: I'm writing my life story, uh, together with Lee Daniels
- 5:22Speaker 6: to co produce, do you know, Daniel, Yes, yes, that's that.
- 5:27Speaker 6: But outside of that that again, I feel like fools
- 5:30Speaker 6: in that similar genre genre, right, So I want to
- 5:33Speaker 6: really get out of that. So what I'm doing is
- 5:35Speaker 6: taking real lived experiences like and putting them inside imaginary worlds.
- 5:40Speaker 6: Not imaginary worlds that you that are fake, but worlds
- 5:43Speaker 6: like stories.
- 5:44Speaker 7: I didn't get to live that I wish I did.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Right, you know what I mean?
- 5:46Speaker 6: And they're always sort of tied back to like loyalty
- 5:49Speaker 6: and family and like.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Discuss the Pretty Girl some or something. What's that called
- 5:53Speaker 4: the Summer Praise.
- 5:56Speaker 5: She has her own version that she's working with the
- 5:58Speaker 5: producer and and direct it with, which is phenomenal. Okay, Okay,
- 6:05Speaker 5: I said nothing, but I do.
- 6:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 7: So why is a tremendous love of mine.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Young adult.
- 6:11Speaker 6: I'm like an overgrown Jews that still watches stuff like
- 6:14Speaker 6: Gossip Girl in the summer. I turn pretty my life
- 6:16Speaker 6: with the Walter Boys, And I just started Ginny and
- 6:19Speaker 6: Georgia last night, which I actually really loved.
- 6:22Speaker 4: A good show.
- 6:22Speaker 6: Shout out to Jenny Daly and one of my partners
- 6:24Speaker 6: on other things. She actually did that show, and this
- 6:27Speaker 6: is the first time. I'm sorry it took so long Jenny.
- 6:29Speaker 4: To watch it, but I love it.
- 6:31Speaker 6: I'm like four episodes in and then next on the
- 6:33Speaker 6: list after that is tell Me Lies. But those are
- 6:35Speaker 6: the types of shows that I want to kind of
- 6:38Speaker 6: produce and write. So but I take all of my
- 6:41Speaker 6: lived inexperience and put them inside those shows regardless.
- 6:44Speaker 4: So that's amazing.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Jed so you have a lot of stuff in the
- 6:49Speaker 3: the the boiler.
- 6:50Speaker 7: Like, yeah, the incubator, yeah, incubating.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Well, we can't go to a boiler room again.
- 6:57Speaker 5: That was my father, by the way, that was his
- 6:59Speaker 5: was that was that was also based.
- 7:01Speaker 4: On a lot of the day.
- 7:03Speaker 6: That was part of his case where he actually did
- 7:06Speaker 6: thirteen years.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Yeah, oh, thirteen and what we emphasized the thirteen not
- 7:11Speaker 5: ten months.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Actually not only two years.
- 7:13Speaker 7: Let me let me correct that the sentence was thirteen.
- 7:16Speaker 5: He did eleven, but he did a total and then
- 7:18Speaker 5: not two years and not ten months.
- 7:22Speaker 8: Sorry, I'm talking to that guy over there.
- 7:25Speaker 6: Total total total across three bits I think was fifty.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Yes, But anyway, what was I saying?
- 7:31Speaker 1: Oh? Yeah?
- 7:32Speaker 4: So anyway, So.
- 7:33Speaker 5: John, I have a question for you. So, what is
- 7:36Speaker 5: it that you've never wanted to be in front of
- 7:38Speaker 5: the camera. I mean, having a sister like me, it's
- 7:43Speaker 5: got to be really hard for you not to, like,
- 7:45Speaker 5: you know.
- 7:46Speaker 8: Like, do you feel a little like intimidy?
- 7:49Speaker 4: Absolutely not joking. Why haven't you want to be in
- 7:54Speaker 4: front of the camera.
- 7:56Speaker 6: It's just not my thing. I like to be behind
- 7:58Speaker 6: the scenes. I like to create, I like to write,
- 8:00Speaker 6: I like to kind of orchestrate if you will, like
- 8:04Speaker 6: tendencies bus like tendencies, you like to see it put together?
- 8:08Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean, I mean it.
- 8:10Speaker 6: And I'm not really that outgoing, like I'm a little shy,
- 8:13Speaker 6: I gotta say, but I'm getting a little bit better.
- 8:18Speaker 4: I think.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Would you would you be willing to go in front
- 8:23Speaker 3: of the camera now? I mean, would you feel like
- 8:25Speaker 3: that would be like one of your next so for
- 8:28Speaker 3: your next project maybe or another one of your projects?
- 8:31Speaker 4: Would you be willing to stop the buttons?
- 8:33Speaker 6: I mean if it served a bigger purpose for me,
- 8:35Speaker 6: like a business venture or something like that, or it
- 8:38Speaker 6: was going to help propel my career into a different
- 8:41Speaker 6: lane per se. Yes, but it's not like my first
- 8:44Speaker 6: choice of things to do. I'd rather sit at home
- 8:46Speaker 6: and write, you know, ten series than be in front
- 8:49Speaker 6: of the camera for one.
- 8:50Speaker 8: It's just not I'd like to be on all ten series.
- 8:54Speaker 4: She's write.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Okay, And I could be many people for many, many
- 8:59Speaker 5: many I have met moods.
- 9:00Speaker 7: I would love to be on one of your series too.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Yeah, well, you never know.
- 9:04Speaker 7: I love to be well, I'm doing both scripted and
- 9:06Speaker 7: on scrib well.
- 9:07Speaker 4: I like scripted too.
- 9:08Speaker 3: I love scripted so I've been I mean, I've been
- 9:11Speaker 3: dabbling now for the last year. I've been taking acting lessons.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I've been doing I just did a show with Steve Stangalis.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I did Great Kills. So now I was in two
- 9:19Speaker 3: episodes and now I'm gonna be season three. So it's
- 9:24Speaker 3: a it's a mockumentary about a hit man.
- 9:26Speaker 7: Yeah, I know it is.
- 9:28Speaker 4: It's great.
- 9:29Speaker 3: It's hysterical, and I'm his friend that grew up with
- 9:31Speaker 3: him and knows what he does. He becomes a Hollywood
- 9:34Speaker 3: producer and then he winds up killing Eric Roberts because
- 9:37Speaker 3: Eric Roberts steals the the still steals.
- 9:40Speaker 7: The script to the movie that they're doing together. So
- 9:43Speaker 7: it's it's it's pretty funny.
- 9:44Speaker 4: It's Roberts Eric.
- 9:46Speaker 5: You know, I have the hardest time with him because
- 9:49Speaker 5: of that movie what was it?
- 9:51Speaker 4: Star eighty? Yeah?
- 9:52Speaker 5: Really I thought he was reading that movie. He's girl
- 9:59Speaker 5: friend she was, and at the end he puts her
- 10:04Speaker 5: on this thing and he has sex with the dead body.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Devastated me.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Well, he didn't really do it with the guy who
- 10:09Speaker 3: really like I know that.
- 10:10Speaker 4: I know that, I know that, but I I for.
- 10:13Speaker 5: Me, my mind is so visual, so It's like, it's
- 10:17Speaker 5: like James Kahn in the movie Mickey blue Ice plays
- 10:21Speaker 5: a rat and it fucking threw me off.
- 10:22Speaker 4: After that.
- 10:23Speaker 5: It's like, look, I know they're not really those people,
- 10:26Speaker 5: but there's things about me like they.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Can't get you out of the know.
- 10:29Speaker 5: It's like somebody wanted me to play a part and
- 10:31Speaker 5: and ended up being like a police officer. I can't
- 10:33Speaker 5: fucking do it, like something so dumb that.
- 10:36Speaker 6: Could I like Mark Rohlberg playing Greg Scopper, she has
- 10:39Speaker 6: She's having a very hard time.
- 10:41Speaker 4: I fucking am I fucking am. You know why?
- 10:44Speaker 5: You know why I have a problem with it Because
- 10:45Speaker 5: he's not gonna He's not gonna.
- 10:47Speaker 4: Tell the full fucking That's not the only reason you
- 10:49Speaker 4: have a problem with it.
- 10:51Speaker 5: I don't think I have a lot of problems with it,
- 10:54Speaker 5: But I can't discuss that here because my religious my
- 10:57Speaker 5: religious beliefs might be different to others, and I just have.
- 11:01Speaker 4: To speak about it. I can't know.
- 11:03Speaker 5: I can't because I don't know. I can't, Okay, in
- 11:07Speaker 5: that sense.
- 11:09Speaker 6: I'm a social belief She doesn't like that he's playing
- 11:11Speaker 6: a rat.
- 11:12Speaker 4: That's why I can't. I have a problem Mark playing
- 11:14Speaker 4: a fucking rat.
- 11:16Speaker 5: I have a problem with Mark playing a guy that
- 11:19Speaker 5: was fucking the same guy that his wife was.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I got a problem with that.
- 11:23Speaker 5: I do can't look at it the say guy, I'm
- 11:26Speaker 5: having a hard time digesting somebody who I love as
- 11:31Speaker 5: an actor, and I fucking love Mark Wahlberg. I have
- 11:35Speaker 5: a hard time because a man with in my mind,
- 11:39Speaker 5: with his belief system, I'm having a hard time. I
- 11:42Speaker 5: know you're an actor, Mark, I'm not dumb. I can
- 11:44Speaker 5: and I know you play characters. I get it, But
- 11:47Speaker 5: could you play a better character? Could you play somebody
- 11:50Speaker 5: that well.
- 11:51Speaker 4: You know what?
- 11:51Speaker 3: Maybe because this is this is out of his wheelhouse,
- 11:54Speaker 3: because usually he plays good good, This might.
- 11:57Speaker 4: Be an Academy Awood winning pride.
- 11:59Speaker 5: He might get the this is okay, but then at
- 12:01Speaker 5: least tell the truth of who fucking Greg really was okay.
- 12:04Speaker 4: I don't know if they are yet, because I haven't
- 12:06Speaker 4: seen it. I would like some confirmation.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Question, are they doing it a mel Gibson's new studios?
- 12:13Speaker 6: I have no idea already know they're already From what
- 12:15Speaker 6: I understand, it's more about the Mississippi Burning aspect of
- 12:20Speaker 6: Scarper's career, and Mark is an actor.
- 12:24Speaker 4: So he knows I love more. He's acting.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Like his brother, his brother Jimbo like his brother has
- 12:35Speaker 5: an amazing story and shout out's Mark Efron, who I love.
- 12:39Speaker 5: He's actually my mentor and him and Jim are best friends.
- 12:43Speaker 5: But Jim's story is really phenomenal, like if he's got
- 12:46Speaker 5: a book, he served time, Like you know.
- 12:48Speaker 6: It's not Jim's podcast mine, I know, but I'm talking
- 12:52Speaker 6: about the reason I'm.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Bringing that up.
- 12:54Speaker 5: I'm talking about I'm talking No, what I'm talking about
- 12:58Speaker 5: is people who come from the the certain lifestyle, a
- 13:02Speaker 5: certain belief system, and they change their whole life arount
- 13:05Speaker 5: where I still want to play the mob daughter and
- 13:07Speaker 5: she wants to write about different stuff like I'm comfortable
- 13:10Speaker 5: in my lane and she's not.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Well, maybe I'm not Harlee. It's just not Harlene. No,
- 13:16Speaker 4: she's I mean, like erg like in shrine and being like,
- 13:20Speaker 4: go daddy. I don't need to be touting his name
- 13:24Speaker 4: on a don't want to. Sorry, okay, go Jen. Sorry
- 13:32Speaker 4: you took me love when you fucking brought up Greg.
- 13:35Speaker 7: But we were in the riding and acting.
- 13:38Speaker 4: I know, I just and I still left. Sorry.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Sorry, mock do you do you would you feel like
- 13:46Speaker 3: you're I think that you're not.
- 13:48Speaker 6: It's not that you're you don't.
- 13:49Speaker 3: You don't interject your life, your life and what you've
- 13:52Speaker 3: been through in your life into your work.
- 13:54Speaker 4: I think you do, but I just don't. I just
- 13:56Speaker 4: think you do it in a different way than your
- 13:58Speaker 4: sister does.
- 13:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean I also a different life than my
- 14:01Speaker 6: sister did. Like at any given time, I feel like
- 14:03Speaker 6: I lived multiple lives at once. You know. It was
- 14:08Speaker 6: always like the life over there in school, on the
- 14:13Speaker 6: soccer field and on the did not.
- 14:16Speaker 7: Oh my god, did I that?
- 14:19Speaker 4: Very excited to tell you.
- 14:21Speaker 6: I played soccer for twelve years from sixth grade through college.
- 14:24Speaker 6: I played softball, racquetball, tennis.
- 14:27Speaker 3: I didn't know that that's amical jack racketball counted because
- 14:31Speaker 3: I played played in school.
- 14:32Speaker 4: I played it for Saint Joseph by the Sea. Wow.
- 14:36Speaker 6: Yes, they did gymnastics, jazz, tapping, ballet, piano, piano, violin lessons,
- 14:44Speaker 6: guitar lessons, art, class ice, skating. Did I say gymnastics,
- 14:48Speaker 6: She's just like Renaissance.
- 14:52Speaker 7: I was leader of the Catholic Action Society. I taught catechism.
- 14:55Speaker 7: I was on the math team. Yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 6: So My point in saying all of that is that
- 14:59Speaker 6: was and I wanted my life to be and it.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Stayed over there.
- 15:03Speaker 7: And I had those friends, and then I had.
- 15:05Speaker 6: Karen and Ramona and those and I never let them
- 15:09Speaker 6: cre didn't cross.
- 15:10Speaker 4: Do you know what those friends. I'm gonna be honest.
- 15:15Speaker 3: You know I'm the same way you are, Jen, because
- 15:17Speaker 3: I went my my my broke my life, my life
- 15:21Speaker 3: into two. Because most of the people that I grew
- 15:23Speaker 3: up with didn't do what I did or you did with.
- 15:25Speaker 3: They didn't go to women, girls, didn't go to college.
- 15:28Speaker 3: They got married, they settled down with a wise guy.
- 15:32Speaker 3: They did they did all that stuff where.
- 15:34Speaker 4: I where I went. I went to college, I started
- 15:37Speaker 4: my own business. I did that.
- 15:38Speaker 3: I'm not saying that they didn't do the right thing
- 15:41Speaker 3: for them or whatever. I just I also did the
- 15:43Speaker 3: same thing. I got married and settled down. But I
- 15:45Speaker 3: also decided that I wanted to get an education. I
- 15:48Speaker 3: want to go to school, and I used to. I
- 15:50Speaker 3: would not separate it. But I did have two different people.
- 15:55Speaker 3: I'm two different people. Yeah, I'm the MP and the
- 15:58Speaker 3: d m P and the one was the doctor. And
- 16:00Speaker 3: will also have my neighborhood friends that I love and
- 16:03Speaker 3: I still cherish and I cherish them.
- 16:06Speaker 4: But but I'll tell you the people.
- 16:07Speaker 3: On this I do, like, did you like my friends
- 16:09Speaker 3: when they've ever crossed paths?
- 16:11Speaker 4: I mean we crossed.
- 16:11Speaker 6: Eventually, I mean, but like during the high school days,
- 16:14Speaker 6: it was like grammar school through high school. I didn't
- 16:18Speaker 6: want I didn't even want those people coming over my house, right,
- 16:22Speaker 6: you know what I mean? Like I wanted to go
- 16:23Speaker 6: to their house and see their normal fathers who was
- 16:26Speaker 6: a male. It was fucking normal, not at all, not
- 16:29Speaker 6: to me, not to me at that time, Like he
- 16:33Speaker 6: was normal and he was okay, he was normal to.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Me, right, but I knew normal.
- 16:38Speaker 6: I knew that he wasn't normal to them, right, And
- 16:41Speaker 6: so I want I'd rather go to them and be
- 16:43Speaker 6: normal with them. May And that was most of my
- 16:46Speaker 6: life until I met Karen and Ramona and ramona sister Roxanne.
- 16:51Speaker 7: And then they were like, oh, they're like me too.
- 16:54Speaker 6: They have that same dysfunction and abnormality that I think
- 16:57Speaker 6: is so you can relate to them, and you can,
- 16:59Speaker 6: really and then but I still don't let them cross,
- 17:02Speaker 6: because those bitches were wild. But I then started going
- 17:07Speaker 6: more and more to them. Right, and I started getting
- 17:09Speaker 6: how old was?
- 17:10Speaker 4: How old were this was? High school? Was high school?
- 17:12Speaker 6: I met them at like fifteen, yeah, fifteen, yeah, because
- 17:16Speaker 6: I was dating junior prom.
- 17:18Speaker 4: I remember the pictures. Yeah, well that we were sixteen
- 17:21Speaker 4: at junior prom.
- 17:22Speaker 6: But I was dating one guy and Roxanne Ramona's sister
- 17:25Speaker 6: wanted to date his cousin. So we met in them
- 17:27Speaker 6: all and she knew that I was dating the guy,
- 17:29Speaker 6: and so she became my friends.
- 17:30Speaker 7: So I would hook her up and we became great friends.
- 17:34Speaker 6: And then I started going more and more and my mother,
- 17:38Speaker 6: they're gonna all be man, But my mother's like, the
- 17:39Speaker 6: day you've met those girls, everything went downhill for you.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Because I'm sure their father feels his damn about you
- 17:45Speaker 5: and I I don't.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Really give two shit.
- 17:48Speaker 6: So but anyway, long story short, No, they shouldn't those fathers,
- 17:52Speaker 6: but whatever, I mean, I helped them get the fucking
- 17:55Speaker 6: into college. I did the homework. They should really love the.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Day that they met me.
- 17:58Speaker 6: Anyway, all right, So oh yeah, so I started going
- 18:05Speaker 6: a little more wild myself. And then by the time
- 18:08Speaker 6: I went to college, like my poor dorm roommates, what
- 18:11Speaker 6: do you call them dormats?
- 18:12Speaker 4: Dorm. Yeah, your dorm mates.
- 18:14Speaker 6: Yeah, dormy's door with dormy dormy they had, there were
- 18:19Speaker 6: doormats whatever. Karen and roxhanne overtook my dorm and they
- 18:23Speaker 6: wouldn't even let my dormies.
- 18:25Speaker 7: Sleep in their own bed. So I forgot her name.
- 18:30Speaker 6: One was so nice, oh god, And she went away
- 18:33Speaker 6: for the weekend. She went home for the weekend.
- 18:35Speaker 7: She came back, Roxanness in her bed all night drunk.
- 18:39Speaker 6: The girl was like, who the fuck is in my bed?
- 18:41Speaker 6: Rocks like, shut the fuck up, I'm sleeping. This was
- 18:44Speaker 6: so they're a terrible, terrible girl.
- 18:47Speaker 4: We'll call it which you.
- 18:50Speaker 6: I dormed there first first year. I dormed until first yeah,
- 18:54Speaker 6: first year. First semester was over there, and then over there.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Then Daddy had apartments.
- 18:58Speaker 5: No.
- 18:58Speaker 6: Then I I used to find clever ways of manipulating
- 19:02Speaker 6: my father into doing whatever I wanted. So I told
- 19:06Speaker 6: him that so Glinda was my new roommate, and.
- 19:11Speaker 4: That a good witch.
- 19:12Speaker 6: Glenda and her rocker boyfriend yourself sex literally right next
- 19:15Speaker 6: to me, because we had two twin beds like this
- 19:18Speaker 6: far apart.
- 19:19Speaker 4: So I went home.
- 19:19Speaker 6: I'm like, Daddy, Glenda and her boyfriend had sex in
- 19:22Speaker 6: front of me and I'm gonna vomit. And he was like,
- 19:25Speaker 6: oh my god, you need your own apartment. I'm like,
- 19:26Speaker 6: I think so too.
- 19:28Speaker 4: You know, that was a great idea. Sad who jad
- 19:32Speaker 4: you know?
- 19:33Speaker 7: The same day we went and we looked at apartments.
- 19:35Speaker 6: We went into a few studios and my father's like,
- 19:37Speaker 6: what is this a closet. I'm like, yeah, this is terrible.
- 19:39Speaker 6: I won't even be able to function in a space
- 19:42Speaker 6: like this. I ended up with a triplex in the village,
- 19:44Speaker 6: three floors, one bedroom, two bathrooms.
- 19:47Speaker 4: It was amazing.
- 19:48Speaker 6: And then Roxanne and Karon everybody infiltrated that hit too.
- 19:52Speaker 4: So yeah, but so I always lived.
- 19:54Speaker 6: Getting back to the double life and why, you know,
- 19:57Speaker 6: I kind of inject I live so many different lives
- 20:00Speaker 6: and different ways of life that I can tell so
- 20:03Speaker 6: many different stories but still have the same core.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Is really what I was getting.
- 20:06Speaker 5: And that core, Jennifer, that core belief that a lot
- 20:08Speaker 5: of people no.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Longer have anymore.
- 20:10Speaker 5: What would you How would you describe that core? How
- 20:12Speaker 5: would you describe that core belief?
- 20:15Speaker 6: I mean, most of my stories all stem from like loyalty,
- 20:19Speaker 6: family legacy, A lot of self discovering, because yeah, I
- 20:24Speaker 6: discovered a lot of things over the time.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Which I think everybody when you're growing up and you
- 20:29Speaker 5: are like for me late in life, I believe one
- 20:33Speaker 5: thing all the way until I was like thirty two
- 20:36Speaker 5: years old and never experience life outside of it. So
- 20:40Speaker 5: my opportunity to date out of my religion race, whatever
- 20:43Speaker 5: it was, I was like, WHOA, I thought it was
- 20:45Speaker 5: on a roller coaster, you know what I mean. So
- 20:47Speaker 5: I think when you learn to experience experience yourself, there's
- 20:52Speaker 5: a lot of self discovery. I wish I didn't discover
- 20:55Speaker 5: a lot of the things I did along the way. However,
- 21:00Speaker 5: I asked her about our core beliefs, Jennifer, because I.
- 21:03Speaker 4: Was wondering what you were trying to get.
- 21:04Speaker 8: Well, here's where I'm going.
- 21:05Speaker 7: Let me just feed me the answer you I'm gonna say, no, no.
- 21:07Speaker 5: I asked you what your core beliefs without telling you
- 21:10Speaker 5: what I was thinking, because it's so sad as we
- 21:14Speaker 5: grow up, how a lot of the people that we
- 21:16Speaker 5: were so attached to, even family members, I'm not specifically
- 21:21Speaker 5: speaking about any friends, but their core beliefs change, Their
- 21:24Speaker 5: core beliefs become money, their core beliefs become success. Yeah,
- 21:31Speaker 5: everything power, just it doesn't. It's still not like my
- 21:36Speaker 5: core beliefs are still the same. I could get and
- 21:38Speaker 5: She'll tell you. I could give two folks about money.
- 21:40Speaker 5: Hers are still based on loyalty. As much as some
- 21:43Speaker 5: people might say, oh, youse aren't loyal or whatever the
- 21:46Speaker 5: bottom line is, and I say it because it's my sister.
- 21:48Speaker 5: And I did question my sister about a few things.
- 21:51Speaker 7: Oh she didn't understand the business behind because I.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Don't understand the business. But I will tell you nobody really,
- 21:56Speaker 4: nobody does.
- 21:58Speaker 5: The point we're getting at is if you had to
- 22:00Speaker 5: do it all over today, would you pick the same
- 22:04Speaker 5: exact cast?
- 22:05Speaker 8: Yes, okay, that was what I was getting at.
- 22:08Speaker 4: So as much.
- 22:08Speaker 9: As I know today today today if okay, so, if
- 22:12Speaker 9: I had to do it today, knowing everything that I know,
- 22:16Speaker 9: I would because I know that that cast was lightening
- 22:19Speaker 9: in a bottle.
- 22:20Speaker 4: You know, I would you think in a bottle? I
- 22:23Speaker 4: love that I'm lightning in a bottle, Mom.
- 22:26Speaker 6: You're lightning on a beach with the water. I would,
- 22:32Speaker 6: but I would do it differently. I wouldn't manage anybody.
- 22:36Speaker 4: Ever, what you know A better now ran too exactly.
- 22:40Speaker 7: I would definitely do it.
- 22:42Speaker 4: It was your first show.
- 22:43Speaker 6: Right well, Listen, I went into this was a lot
- 22:46Speaker 6: of first first and people don't realize that how hard
- 22:50Speaker 6: that was.
- 22:51Speaker 3: On you too, because.
- 22:52Speaker 4: You you know.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Maybe now people know what it is to at this
- 22:58Speaker 3: after doing a show, people kind of realize it was the.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Only one person that knows and it's Karen. And I'll
- 23:03Speaker 4: tell you what.
- 23:04Speaker 7: So again, would I do the same cast?
- 23:09Speaker 6: Yes, I would fucking have fought harder to put big
- 23:13Speaker 6: Anche on season one because the network did not want
- 23:15Speaker 6: her on season one because they said she was too.
- 23:17Speaker 4: Old for their demographic.
- 23:18Speaker 6: And I try to explain to them, you have no
- 23:20Speaker 6: idea this woman transcends age whatever.
- 23:22Speaker 4: They're like, no, no, no, no, no. That I would
- 23:24Speaker 4: have fought harder for. But I think, you know what
- 23:27Speaker 4: else would you have fought harder for? Jen?
- 23:29Speaker 6: I'd like to finish my answer, and I would not
- 23:34Speaker 6: have managed anyone because I went into this with the
- 23:38Speaker 6: purest of intentions to help every single one of my friends,
- 23:42Speaker 6: like we will looking ahea of it' all gonna do
- 23:45Speaker 6: great together, We're gonna get to the top together.
- 23:47Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 23:47Speaker 6: And you know, the best laid plans are sometimes I
- 23:52Speaker 6: forgot the saying the best laid plans are sometimes for
- 23:54Speaker 6: not or something like that, or tell God your plans
- 23:58Speaker 6: and to.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Laugh at you.
- 23:58Speaker 6: Like, no, they laughed at it. They actually spit in
- 24:02Speaker 6: my face. But it is what it is, you know
- 24:04Speaker 6: what I'm saying. So my pure intentions turned into something
- 24:08Speaker 6: ugly in their eyes because it didn't work out the
- 24:11Speaker 6: way that we thought it would, which, okay, fine, you
- 24:15Speaker 6: don't want to. You know, we manage some of them,
- 24:17Speaker 6: and when they didn't, they didn't like it and they
- 24:18Speaker 6: wanted to have the management contract here.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Bye. There was never a fight about it. See you later.
- 24:23Speaker 6: We try and I'm sorry whatever it may be. They
- 24:25Speaker 6: thought I had all the power in the world.
- 24:27Speaker 4: I wish I had. I wish I had the power
- 24:30Speaker 4: they thought I did.
- 24:31Speaker 6: And then they got fucking did you Did you ever
- 24:33Speaker 6: sit down and talk to a little about this or
- 24:35Speaker 6: did you try to talk?
- 24:36Speaker 4: Okay again, getting back to Karen.
- 24:37Speaker 6: So years later, when Karen got her own show and
- 24:41Speaker 6: she was the producer of it, we sat down maybe
- 24:45Speaker 6: two years after that, and she was like, I got
- 24:47Speaker 6: to apologize. I now see you didn't have the control
- 24:50Speaker 6: because she knew she didn't even have the control. So
- 24:53Speaker 6: she's the only one that really came to terms with
- 24:56Speaker 6: the fact that it wasn't me. It was first of all,
- 24:58Speaker 6: the network pays for the show. Who pays owns everything?
- 25:01Speaker 3: Exactly, They have the biggest they have the biggest voice.
- 25:04Speaker 4: This is even season one.
- 25:07Speaker 6: Me, Harvey and Marvin wanted to end the last episode
- 25:12Speaker 6: with the fight. Remember the fight at the end of
- 25:15Speaker 6: season one, Karen and Dreda on the.
- 25:17Speaker 4: On the on the rooftop top.
- 25:19Speaker 6: It's really quick, so we wanted to end that episode
- 25:22Speaker 6: fade to black. We didn't want to see the actual fight.
- 25:25Speaker 6: And this was Me, Harvey and Marvin and the network
- 25:29Speaker 6: had final say. The networks like, no way, we have
- 25:31Speaker 6: to show the fight. Was showing the fight, was showing
- 25:33Speaker 6: the fight. We fought that, we fought that, we fought
- 25:35Speaker 6: that and we lost. So did I have some control?
- 25:38Speaker 6: Did I have some power? But at the end of
- 25:40Speaker 6: the network had final control.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Over the network what they wanted.
- 25:44Speaker 5: And I'm gonna say this, I'll say this as my
- 25:49Speaker 5: last statement. If we didn't show that fucking fight, let
- 25:53Speaker 5: me tell you something. That fucking fight catapulted us. I
- 25:57Speaker 5: was probably right at the end of the day, catapulted.
- 25:59Speaker 5: It was terrible, especially my legs were wide open and
- 26:03Speaker 5: they would.
- 26:04Speaker 4: People like the worst fight. I know, it wasn't the
- 26:06Speaker 4: worst fight, but it was the first one. It was
- 26:09Speaker 4: the first. It was yeah, but it showed up. It
- 26:13Speaker 4: did a little rough and tumble. Yeah before that.
- 26:15Speaker 8: Yeah, uh season one episode vibe.
- 26:18Speaker 4: I gotta watch season one again.
- 26:20Speaker 5: But anyway, I think the end of I think the
- 26:23Speaker 5: end of season one, I think it was fucking iconic
- 26:26Speaker 5: and it.
- 26:26Speaker 4: Will never ever not it will never be with the magic.
- 26:30Speaker 4: It was a magic and they can say whatever they want.
- 26:33Speaker 4: I think they were all happy.
- 26:34Speaker 3: And you know what, it's because you guys, and the
- 26:36Speaker 3: root of it, in the core of it, you guys
- 26:38Speaker 3: wore friends because you grew up together, so you did.
- 26:40Speaker 4: You were friends.
- 26:41Speaker 3: The problem is that, I think with friends is that
- 26:43Speaker 3: when some unfortunately when money and power and you know,
- 26:48Speaker 3: as one person has more pull than the other one
- 26:51Speaker 3: and this kind of a jealousy or or like a
- 26:53Speaker 3: power struggle to you know, I think that that's where
- 26:57Speaker 3: the problem comes in.
- 26:57Speaker 4: But I think now.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Maybe as you guys get older and maybe look back
- 27:02Speaker 3: on it, you know, let's hope maybe it couldn't you know,
- 27:06Speaker 3: I mean, I know you and Karen have spoken to
- 27:07Speaker 3: each other, and you guys do you guys, do you guys
- 27:09Speaker 3: love each other because you friends for a long time.
- 27:12Speaker 3: So yeah, it was going to be that that lostalgia,
- 27:15Speaker 3: that nostalgia. You know, you might want to kill each
- 27:18Speaker 3: other sometimes.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Nothing to kill Karen anymore, you know. Well, I don't
- 27:22Speaker 4: say at that.
- 27:22Speaker 3: You know, when you guys would working together, and it's
- 27:25Speaker 3: hard to work with family.
- 27:26Speaker 4: And it was also I was in the middle between
- 27:30Speaker 4: her and Rita.
- 27:31Speaker 6: They were both I have more history with Karen, but
- 27:34Speaker 6: I had such an amazing friendship in the short period
- 27:36Speaker 6: of time with Rita that I did, and Karen wanted
- 27:40Speaker 6: me to take her side. Rita wanted me to take
- 27:41Speaker 6: her side, and then they both were so mad.
- 27:43Speaker 4: That I didn't choose.
- 27:45Speaker 6: But I could tell you who thought I was really
- 27:47Speaker 6: on as a friend, but as a producer, I had
- 27:49Speaker 6: to stay neutral and they couldn't understand that either.
- 27:52Speaker 8: Well, it was I I would like to to hear
- 27:55Speaker 8: the rest of.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Me too, And I love for you to call that
- 27:57Speaker 4: so much hot too. Yeah, would you come back to
- 28:00Speaker 4: report to sure? I love it all right?
- 28:01Speaker 3: Well, everybody, you better stay tuned for this part too,
- 28:04Speaker 3: and we'd like to hear more about what's going on
- 28:07Speaker 3: in Jen's world, which will.

- 28:34Speaker 6: the straightened Out podcast, and then on TikTok again the
