- 0:11Hey Daryl, how are you? Hey in person folks.
- 0:19Welcome to the Revivalist radio show.
- 0:23We are pre recording this a day early for Monday October 12th,
- 0:31the year of our Lord 2026. Where is the the most already
- 0:35gone? You know.
- 0:36This Jesus is coming back soon. I had to think about what's the
- 0:41date again? You know, yesterday I had my
- 0:44show from Pain to purpose and it was mental health awareness day
- 0:52and you know, I kept saying it's October 10th, it's October 10th.
- 0:56So that's why I had go in the, the, the calendar on my, in my
- 1:00head. We it's been a minute since
- 1:04we've had just. A minute.
- 1:06Just a minute. Just a minute.
- 1:08We we had other pressing matters to address, but we're here.
- 1:11I had, I had places to go. Tell us about it, Eva.
- 1:14Tell us about it. Tell us about.
- 1:16Tell us about Bullwinkle and Bambi.
- 1:19Charlie. His name is Charlie.
- 1:21He's in there on that desk. Did you see?
- 1:25Recipes, Charlie. Oh, so on the.
- 1:30Menu. Quite the adventure I went.
- 1:32I was counting up as I was driving back.
- 1:35How many states did I go through?
- 1:36Can you believe I went through 10 states in a week's time?
- 1:41And they got you on camera, too. No, no, no, no ticket.
- 1:44No. I mean, can't say that those
- 1:47Flock cameras weren't out there, but hey.
- 1:50But no tickets. Everything was all good.
- 1:53Getting locked out of my truck was not on my single list.
- 2:01So I got to Grand Teton Saturday evening, right?
- 2:06I got to my campground, the Grovent.
- 2:08I'm gonna GROS space VENTRE Grovent.
- 2:13That's how they pronounce it. Grovent Campground.
- 2:17Beautiful campground, folks. It's up there in Wyoming,
- 2:20northwest Wyoming, 'cause I, one, I, I hadn't been to that
- 2:26area 2, I knew I, if I was going to be hiking in eastern Wyoming
- 2:33a couple of days later, it might be good to get some elevation in
- 2:38and just, you know, Orient myself physically before I did
- 2:42some major hiking. I kind of, you know, was
- 2:45planning on taking it easy at Yellowstone, but when I when I
- 2:52drove through Grand Teton and and started finding different
- 2:57places to park and go take some pictures for that money shot,
- 3:03you know, I didn't count on sliding down the hill bonk in
- 3:07the back of my head. I think I had a slight
- 3:09concussion, broke my camera. These are the travails of being
- 3:15a revivalist dog. Says day one, day one.
- 3:20And I I did make my way to Yellowstone.
- 3:24I stopped, but I stopped at a campground and bought a
- 3:28disposable camera. Do you know how expensive those
- 3:31things are? What, 2999?
- 3:35Thirty dollars. For.
- 3:36Disposal $30.00 for a disposal. Where were you at?
- 3:40Yellowstone. Look at y'all.
- 3:41And I don't, I've got to find, you know, there's a couple
- 3:44places in the Metroplex I can go take it.
- 3:47I'm going to process. I got to.
- 3:48Go do a review. Oh man so anyways enjoyed it had
- 3:53this nice lady from the East Coast bought my lunch.
- 3:58Her brother, I think was, is a veteran and she took care of me
- 4:02after I told my story about falling and breaking my phone
- 4:08and and everything was going OK. I got back to my campground
- 4:14Saturday evening. All right, Sunday evening,
- 4:16sorry. And, and I was going to leave
- 4:21early the next morning. Got to go to the bathroom about
- 4:242:00-ish in the morning. Had me go ahead and start
- 4:27putting everything together. Got my Jetboil going for the
- 4:32coffee start locking things up and guess what I did I locked
- 4:37everything in the cab. My watch that has a phone number
- 4:42attached to it, my broken phone which I could use with my with
- 4:47my truck. Obviously I couldn't use the
- 4:50phone even to get the GMC app because the screen is broken, so
- 4:54that was not usable. And then of course, the keys,
- 4:57everything was locked inside and I had to survive.
- 5:02It got down to 41° that night and it started raining.
- 5:09I, you know, eventually got a locksmith on site who spent all
- 5:14like maybe 30 seconds, you know, because I, I didn't close the
- 5:18door all the way. I could get my fingers in, but
- 5:23I, he had a tool was able to get in there.
- 5:26He. Had a.
- 5:27Tool. He always had a tool, but but
- 5:30God was with me because the fellow campers let me use the
- 5:35phone. Her husband, the camper also, he
- 5:40was a veteran Army veteran. The campground supervisor was an
- 5:45Air Force veteran. He called, he called back to the
- 5:48office. The office called around to
- 5:50other campgrounds, had a locksmith who sent the guy out.
- 5:54It was supposed to cost $175 and he didn't charge me anything.
- 6:00Honolulu. Yeah, but that, but that was
- 6:03after Hazelu that, but that was after trying to reach out to GMC
- 6:08emergency roadside services and it was a scam number who charged
- 6:14my son Domino's Pizza and some kind of meat market order out of
- 6:20Missouri, your favorite state. And and it was not, it was not
- 6:26GMC emergency services. And and then he tried calling
- 6:31back in when the camp supervisor was there and and his assistant
- 6:37drove up with the right number to reach these other people.
- 6:42The original guy called back wanting $200 more, like he was
- 6:47trying to extort more money out of me in order to send a
- 6:51locksmith out to help me. Extort.
- 6:54I mean, I just was like, you know, this is kind of crazy.
- 6:57And it was 41°. So if you go on my page in the
- 7:01next day or so, it's going to be a it's called The Book of Daryl
- 7:07Council Chronicles is going to be spiritual extortion.
- 7:11I'm going to put I'm going to write an article about spiritual
- 7:13watch me spiritual extortion because that's what happens to
- 7:17people who think we're nice people and we are we model who
- 7:20God is. But God is also he says there
- 7:23will be violence in the Kingdom. The battle is his, not ours.
- 7:29And you see how God still the Lord our God still blessed evil,
- 7:32that she had to pay a cent. Yeah, nothing.
- 7:36I mean, somebody had the opportunity to help and, you
- 7:39know, and I was willing to play. Obviously I couldn't pay
- 7:43anything because everything was in the truck.
- 7:45I had to. I had to call my son to get him
- 7:47to help from a number he didn't know.
- 7:51Who was this? Yeah.
- 7:54The witness protection program. So it was an ordeal, you know,
- 7:59so it was kind of anti climatic before I even got to go hunting.
- 8:02I mean, it was it was a that that was and experience all on
- 8:07his phone. You had 10 trillion hits on
- 8:12Meta. Right.
- 8:16But yet you still model who God was.
- 8:18And that's right. I applaud and well.
- 8:20It was God. People are watching, but.
- 8:23God put some people to help me through this situation.
- 8:28I and I am AI am a, you know, Second Amendment proponent, OK,
- 8:34I had people say, why don't you just go and knock on somebody's
- 8:37door at 2:00 AM? Well, because I don't know what
- 8:40somebody's going to open the door up with at 2:00 in the
- 8:44morning. I'm not stupid, right?
- 8:47I mean, I'm going to think operational security and I don't
- 8:51know who these people are. I'm not going to go into their
- 8:55RV's at 2:00 AM either, right? So there was a certain amount of
- 8:59self preservation on A2 pronged approach that if I could wait
- 9:05until sunlight and the rain stopped, even if the rain
- 9:09stopped, but if I could wait till 7:00 AM and the sunlight
- 9:12was out, I was going to be OK. I just had, you know, having
- 9:18patience. But my first thing is something
- 9:20I talked about on the show last night was my mental training
- 9:25went into gear. Think about heat, reserve the
- 9:28body heat and then I would be able to think about what were my
- 9:33next steps. You outside alone.
- 9:37In five hours. So this was beyond dusk.
- 9:41This is dark When? Oh yeah, this.
- 9:42Was 2:00 in the morning when I do that.
- 9:45I mean, I had AI had the other alternative to survival was
- 9:51grabbing the sleeping bag and going into the campground
- 9:55bathroom. But that is an all concrete
- 9:58structure. And though while it would have
- 10:02kept me, it would have kept me dry, it would not have kept me
- 10:07warm. So.
- 10:08We would have had to see a chiropractor on massage.
- 10:11You. Know I even got a massage for
- 10:12sure. But I had a heater my brother
- 10:14had told me on the way up there. Hey, you ought to stop at
- 10:18Walmart and get this little buddy propane heater.
- 10:21Daryl, That thing put out some heat and I listened to I I don't
- 10:27know, maybe that was just not just my brother.
- 10:29God was talking to my brother for me because he knew what was
- 10:33going to happen. Oh, silly was going to lock
- 10:35herself out of the truck. All right, He didn't say that,
- 10:42but but, but you know, I was prepared that that's my point is
- 10:48that I was prepared, but I had the sleeping bag bags cuz I'll
- 10:53tell you privately what happened, why I had to use both
- 10:56sleeping bags. And then I had clothes.
- 10:59I had my suitcase was in the back of the truck, so I was able
- 11:02to put my leggings on and you know, with wool socks, even
- 11:06though I'm sitting here barefoot right now, I had wool socks in
- 11:09the back of the. Truck veils of evil, y'all.
- 11:14Revival story. It could happen to anybody.
- 11:17Remember that? A true revivalist tale.
- 11:21Yes, yeah. So that that's the point of two
- 11:25weeks ago when I was up there visiting my friend after the
- 11:28hunt, I said this is my bear not bear story.
- 11:32So just bear with me while I tell my not bear story.
- 11:36That's how you know. So go watch that episode.
- 11:39I do show some scenes from hunting on that that episode.
- 11:44That was 2 Saturdays ago. Did you you have footage of the
- 11:47processing of the the? No, I didn't take any video.
- 11:52Just asking questions man, I'm just.
- 11:54But. That would have been a real no
- 11:56thank. You thank you can see, but you
- 11:59can see where I shot it. Yeah, Steve.
- 12:03Steve recorded that and I mean it was good Ani was representing
- 12:08of. Course.
- 12:10Girls. Girls can shoot.
- 12:11Oh, no Navy folk around. So, yeah, yeah.
- 12:15I don't know can can Navy. Shoot.
- 12:17Oh yeah, yes, I can still shoot. Yeah.
- 12:23Yeah, right. Yeah, right.
- 12:25What practice did you have on that then?
- 12:33When Daryl was younger, he could do a whole lot of things.
- 12:35Branch rivalry. Idiot, but he's good.
- 12:40I told the job out there when I was hunting because Steve and
- 12:45Patrick are both both the Air Force and, and Patrick was
- 12:51getting the tripod positioned where he because that's where
- 12:54he's going to mount the gun on. And he started doing like a
- 12:59little low crawl move and was like, oh look, Air Force can
- 13:02roll, can low crawl. And if you guys didn't know Air
- 13:07Force, they have soft serve ice cream.
- 13:10They go home about 5:00 every single time.
- 13:13And we always get nudged for the 9:00 to 5:00 where everybody
- 13:15else is out here working. Well, that's why in the Army we
- 13:18call them chair force. You know, really it was like,
- 13:22man, they can roll, you guys can low cross What?
- 13:27And then they go home. So yeah, you know, it's.
- 13:31Funny, good, good, you know, good sibling, you know, sibling
- 13:36branch rivalry at its best and that's.
- 13:40We can mess with each other, but you better not.
- 13:44So anywho, you want to launch us into prayer?
- 13:47Absolutely. They're the Father, Son, and the
- 13:49Holy Spirit. Lord, we thank you for
- 13:51fellowship. We thank you for your ever
- 13:54presence and our time of need, want and desire.
- 13:56We thank you for your Son Christ Jesus, our Lord, Savior,
- 13:59Redeemer and King and Head of our lives.
- 14:02We thank you for the power, glory, the essence of the Holy
- 14:04Spirit that gives us wisdom, knowledge, understanding,
- 14:09insight, and discernment for all matters of our lives.
- 14:12So, Lord, as we leave this place, O Lord of prayer, in the
- 14:16going to your study about Exodus, we also again thank you
- 14:20and we praise you in the lame that is indeed Christ Jesus in
- 14:23the presence of the Holy Spirit, that your son, daughter, friends
- 14:27and servants, we say Amen, Amen and Amen.
- 14:30The name is Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Amen.
- 14:33So before we get started, you know the setup is a little
- 14:38different. This is the patio and we are
- 14:41outside. I I love my outdoor living area.
- 14:45Oh. Shoot, she did it.
- 14:47She did that. So this was important.
- 14:50You know, it's nice that now there's the temperature is is
- 14:54getting a little bit cooler, they get a.
- 14:56Little. It is not 115° in Texas today.
- 14:59A little. Is it like 80?
- 15:00Getting a little toasty right now, but we're, you know, in the
- 15:04shade. So hopefully while the weather
- 15:07is cool, we'll host these next, you know, maybe month or so of
- 15:12shows out here on the patio and just kind of enjoying the fresh
- 15:18air outside. Hopefully you guys don't hear
- 15:21any of the air. You heard, you heard one.
- 15:25The airplane, I don't know if the there's there's a noise
- 15:28cancelling, the noise cancelling might put out.
- 15:31The right over there. Yeah, there's an airfield near
- 15:35here. So anyways, I'm going to go
- 15:37ahead and get into. There's a also a change with
- 15:41stream Yard, so we cannot show it on screen.
- 15:45For some reason, it's not going to allow us to show the
- 15:49scripture on screen, but we will still be able to read it to you
- 15:53all for the listening audience. So we are going to jump into
- 16:01Exodus chapter 2, the birth of Moses.
- 16:05Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman and she
- 16:10became pregnant and gave birth to a son.
- 16:13When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three
- 16:17months. But when she could hide him no
- 16:19longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar
- 16:24and pitch. Then she placed the child in it
- 16:27and put it among the reeds along the Bank of the Nile.
- 16:31His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.
- 16:35Then Pharaoh's daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and
- 16:39her attendants were walking along the riverbank.
- 16:42She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave
- 16:46to get it. She opened it and saw the baby.
- 16:49He was crying and she felt sorry for him.
- 16:52This is one of the Hebrew babies, she said.
- 16:55Then his sister asked Pharaoh's daughter, shall I go and get one
- 17:00of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?
- 17:03Yes, go, she answered. So the girl went and got the
- 17:07baby's mother. Pharaoh's daughter said to her,
- 17:10Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you.
- 17:14So the woman took the baby and nursed him.
- 17:17When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh's daughter
- 17:20and he became her son. She named him Moses and saying,
- 17:26saying, I drew him out of the water.
- 17:28Moses flees to Midian. One day after Moses had grown
- 17:34up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at
- 17:39their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a
- 17:42Hebrew, one of his own people looking this way in that and
- 17:46seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hit him in the
- 17:50sand. The next day he went out and saw
- 17:53two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong.
- 17:56Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?
- 17:59The man said, Who made you ruler and judge over us?
- 18:03Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?
- 18:07Then Moses was afraid and thought what I did must have
- 18:11become known. When Pharaoh heard of this, he
- 18:15tried to kill Moses, But Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to
- 18:19live in Midian, where he sat down by a well.
- 18:22Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw
- 18:26water and fill the troughs to water their father's flock.
- 18:30Some shepherds came along and drove them away, but Moses got
- 18:34up and came to their rescue and watered their flock.
- 18:38When the girls returned to Raul, their father, he asked them, Why
- 18:42have you returned so early today?
- 18:45They answered. An Egyptian rescued us from the
- 18:48shepherds. He even drew water for us and
- 18:50watered the flock. And where is he?
- 18:53Raul asked his daughters. Why did you leave him?
- 18:57Invite him to have something to eat.
- 19:01Moses agreed to stay with the man who gave his daughter
- 19:04Zipporah to Moses in marriage. Zipporah gave birth to a son and
- 19:10Moses named him Gershom, saying I have become a foreigner in a
- 19:14foreign land. During that long period, the
- 19:18king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their
- 19:21slave slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of
- 19:26the slavery went up to God. God heard their groaning and he
- 19:30remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with
- 19:33Jacob. So God looked on the Israelites
- 19:36and was concerned about them these.
- 19:40Significant blessings to the reading here and the professor
- 19:43of our faith in His Word. Amen.
- 19:46Pretty insightful. It is, yes.
- 19:48It is where you want to start. You know, that's where I think
- 19:53we start at the top. There was a part of me that, you
- 19:58know, we have three days, three months, you know, there's some,
- 20:04there's some significance with three, but you got the Father
- 20:09and Son and the Holy Ghost, you know, So there was that that was
- 20:17a. The first thing that came to
- 20:19mind as I was reading is, and then I got to the part about the
- 20:23papyrus basket and thinking about the tar and pitch and I
- 20:27was like, well, where have we heard tar and pitch before?
- 20:29Ark. Ark Noah, I was like, you know,
- 20:32this is where technology, technology is a big thing these
- 20:37days, right? How much does technology change
- 20:40over time? And in this case, they used what
- 20:47worked. This was a method that had not
- 20:49changed. Even the difference between them
- 20:52being in Egypt versus Noah and where he started out from.
- 20:59I don't know. I just thought that was it is
- 21:01interesting. Yeah.
- 21:02So you see there are two arcs and then there'll be 1/3.
- 21:07You know. What's Ark?
- 21:08Yeah, there's this Ark and there's the Ark of the Covenant.
- 21:10I didn't ever really think about this one as prescription.
- 21:14OK, I didn't ever really think about this papyrus basket as
- 21:19being an ark, but I guess it it is, and that it's carrying, it's
- 21:26a vessel for carrying a. Spine Child.
- 21:29Yeah, I don't know. So yeah.
- 21:33So you correlated as what was important, it was placed within.
- 21:39So the original ark, Noah's ark was very important because who
- 21:43was within this is very important because if this child
- 21:47has not been in this ark, he would have been destroyed.
- 21:51The, the the daughters were able to live, but the sons would be
- 21:55where they would, they would perish in, in denial.
- 21:58And then the last one is the Ark of the Covenant, which in fact
- 22:03Moses saw built. It's amazing it was.
- 22:09Amazing the full cycle of. It Moses was there when, when
- 22:14that ark was built. So we we would come to find out
- 22:18that people can try to debunk and debate and argue scripture
- 22:22all day, but it's, it's consistent.
- 22:24Yeah. But then I'm visualizing, you
- 22:27know, there's a, this is not hard to visualize with the movie
- 22:32that we've seen, you know, 10 Commandments.
- 22:34How many times have I watched the 10 Commandments?
- 22:37But, you know, you just kind of visualize this, you know, young
- 22:43woman is out there bathing. She's got her attendance, but I
- 22:47don't know that I necessarily had ever picked up that it was
- 22:50his own sister. It was Moses's own sister, Mary,
- 22:55and that that was there conveniently.
- 22:59I mean, I had heard about him going to his mother, but I
- 23:02didn't ever pick up on the sister.
- 23:03Right, His own sister. And then what happened is that
- 23:07she went to Pharaoh's daughter and said these things.
- 23:10And Pharaoh's daughter said, Oh yes, go get a go, get a good
- 23:13idea. So now solving a problem, Joseph
- 23:16and his mother's, that's his mother's name, Joseph says.
- 23:19She takes Joseph and Joseph is getting paid for almost.
- 23:22Yeah, right. Egyptian wages.
- 23:26Yeah, but but she has the convenience of, oh, by the way,
- 23:31being able to nurse him and nobody ever questioning, well,
- 23:35where was your child? I mean, you know, I don't know
- 23:40that they had made that connection that she gave birth
- 23:45to this particular child, but because maybe because there had
- 23:50been so many deaths of the male, you know, that there will
- 23:56probably be it was. A tragedy all in his.
- 23:58Own yeah, a trauma in and of itself, but how many other women
- 24:04probably were in that same situation where they had
- 24:07delivered the milk came and yet they had nothing, no baby to
- 24:13give to to nurse. Yeah, I don't know that would
- 24:18that would have been a huge mixed blessing for her to be in
- 24:24that situation. Survived.
- 24:26Yeah, but but then as he gets older, now she has to give it to
- 24:33give it back to Pharaoh's daughter and let her raise him
- 24:38in Egyptian ways, not in Hebrew ways.
- 24:41That would be a conflict in and of itself, you know.
- 24:45You, even you as a mother, yeah, you know, father's probably
- 24:50different, But you as a mother who birthed this child and
- 24:52brought the child into the world and had first contacted this
- 24:56child inside and out to have this child taken away from you,
- 25:00there's a whole nother set of dynamics that we can't even
- 25:04realize. You may know where the child is.
- 25:07You may in glancing you see time to time, but he's gone.
- 25:12Well, I would think that there had to have been some kind of
- 25:15relationship between that family and working for the household,
- 25:20for Pharaoh's household to begin with.
- 25:22So maybe she could have even been one of the servants within
- 25:26the household. You know, I could visualize
- 25:29that. She and Miriam.
- 25:31Yeah, that that would have been, you know, is she had that was a
- 25:38huge risk to even put him in the basket and do that at all.
- 25:44And hope. Yeah, hope and pray that he
- 25:47doesn't get killed so, but somehow this huge favor is laid
- 25:53upon him and he was spared from the demise that all these other
- 25:58Hebrew boys what do. We think about the Nile.
- 26:01You know, it's fertile, but it's got alligators and it has snakes
- 26:06and it has, you know, other, all sorts of other types of fish
- 26:11critters, critters, right? Think.
- 26:13Of Texas word critters. Critters that'll be on the menu,
- 26:16you know, in some parts of Texas, but God navigated him to
- 26:21save Harbor and here we are. That would have that would have
- 26:26been definitely, you know, that that mom side of things, moral
- 26:34courage to even attempt to do that.
- 26:37I mean, that would be tough. I mean, she hit him for three
- 26:43months until she couldn't hide him any longer.
- 26:45Because I'm sure the crying and wailing would have woken up
- 26:50neighbors and stuff. But still that, you know, to put
- 26:54that kind of faith and to put the child in the papyrus basket
- 26:59like that and not think that some demise could come upon him
- 27:05would, would be tough. Yeah, that would be tough for
- 27:10sure. It's amazing every time we we
- 27:16hear about the story, read it, it's, it's just more amazing
- 27:18because it really impacts us as parents today and as followers
- 27:23of the Lord our God. But then there's the also part
- 27:27about Pharaoh's daughter in the role of this, because she's
- 27:31putting forth these these wages to pay her.
- 27:36That's a risk that she took. This was years now.
- 27:39Yeah, yeah. So that that household was
- 27:41flourishing. Right, but that still would have
- 27:44been some risk of hers, even as her daughter and not getting
- 27:49found out. What do you mean you've been
- 27:51paying for this Hebrew boy to? Be.
- 27:56Right. And you can you dare, you know,
- 28:01Can you imagine her explain to your father, Big Daddy, I
- 28:05promise it. Just it, just it.
- 28:08You know, you can try to explain away.
- 28:10And she must have had Pharaoh so Papa wrapped around her pinky to
- 28:15have been able to expend the money to support this, you know,
- 28:21young man even and now and then coming into the household as.
- 28:28As a baby, really a Hebrew baby. What made him so special that to
- 28:32raise him up? But now I think the trickier
- 28:37part is even Moses's own perception about who he was in
- 28:45the community. Came in a question.
- 28:46Well, you know, I think as we get into it and we're reading
- 28:50this, we. Read it.
- 28:51Yeah, we read it, I mean. Somehow thought that he was
- 28:56impervious to anybody thing. Careful, careful about the
- 29:01prying eyes, folks. People are watching you even
- 29:05when you think nobody's watching you.
- 29:07And that proves it as we get into, we read it, but we're
- 29:10going to get into it. Yeah.
- 29:12He didn't think anybody was going to notice.
- 29:14It well, not just. Nobody said he killed and he
- 29:16buried him in the sand. You're right.
- 29:19And and he said and he says looking this way and that,
- 29:23seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hit him in the
- 29:27sand. The next day the two Hebrews,
- 29:30and we'll talk in a minute about the fighting part of it, but
- 29:35they somebody saw. Him, one of them were.
- 29:40Both well, or maybe somebody else, but it got to them and
- 29:44Moses thought he was bringing. Clear.
- 29:47Bringing clear I want to say above, he thought he was better
- 29:52than. All he was doing was helping his
- 29:54people. Right.
- 29:56But somebody saw and they thought and interpreted that he
- 30:01was, well, who are you to claim? Judge and jury?
- 30:06Really, Who do you think you are?
- 30:10So what do you, what do you think about the fighting between
- 30:13the two of them, The two Hebrews, though?
- 30:18They're enslaved. They had a lot of thoughts,
- 30:22feelings and emotions going on. They didn't look at Moses as a
- 30:27deliverer. They looked at him perhaps as an
- 30:30equal because they knew something about him that Moses
- 30:34didn't know. Moses killed us, they said the
- 30:37next day. So he's these two, one of them
- 30:41or somebody else that knew identify who Moses was because
- 30:45he killed the Egyptian And the guy said basically, who do you
- 30:50think you are you thinking of killing me like you killed the
- 30:53Egyptian? Moses said, Oh my God, this is
- 30:55this is known. Then it says, because we read
- 30:59it, Pharaoh sought to kill Moses.
- 31:02The news got back to Pharaoh, who had taken Moses in as a son.
- 31:08Now the edict has to. Come down and he has to die just
- 31:12think what was going on in the palace because his daughter knew
- 31:17that the edict was that Moses was going to die and remember
- 31:20this she. Gave Moses.
- 31:22The name. Not, not his mother.
- 31:25Josephine, she gave him the name Drawing out of Water.
- 31:29So we need to be in a position, yeah, it's even mentioned just a
- 31:34few moments ago. We have to be aware that
- 31:37somebody's always not only watching, but listening.
- 31:41That's why it's very important to model who God is to us and
- 31:44for us. But.
- 31:46I thought it was. Interesting, because there's no
- 31:48distinction between all of those conversations that they knew
- 31:53that he was a Hebrew, right? Right.
- 31:55So they didn't know that I saw an Egyptian garb.
- 31:59Now. Moses knew that they were
- 32:02Hebrews. And the point I was getting.
- 32:05At about them arguing was that he didn't he didn't like what
- 32:11the Egyptians were was doing to the his own people right,
- 32:15because he knew he was Hebrew. I'm guessing somehow his
- 32:18biological mother told him we him between.
- 32:22Miriam, Joseph and his mother and and Pharaohs he he knew.
- 32:27What his role was within the context of how how he was being
- 32:31raised. But these two Hebrew men, I
- 32:36don't think he recognized what Moses was pointing out to him.
- 32:43Your fight shouldn't be. Amongst each other.
- 32:47You're both Hebrew. You're both on the same team.
- 32:50What's the problem here? I mean, I think this is where
- 32:53Darryl, you and I both know in even in veteran circles, in
- 32:58families, why are we fighting the people that we're supposed
- 33:01to be on the same team with? Because sometimes that's what
- 33:05they know well, even as. Americans, why are we fighting
- 33:11each other? That's the whole point.
- 33:13I think the take away, if we're looking at getting along better
- 33:19as a nation, as a state, you know, families down to that
- 33:26granular level, who are you fighting?
- 33:31Why are you really fighting the very people you know that we're
- 33:34supposed to be getting along? I can't answer that.
- 33:36They don't they they just is what they know.
- 33:38But I think that's what he. Was pointing out to them your
- 33:41issue is with the Egyptians not with each other and they got
- 33:45angry with. Him right?
- 33:47For stopping them. Right, doing something they're
- 33:50not supposed to be doing. Because if it hadn't been Moses,
- 33:52Moses found somebody. Somebody else who Egyptian when
- 33:54they came along. Probably I.
- 33:57Think, I think Moses. Thought he was writing it wrong.
- 34:00He was writing it wrong. With the Egyptian, we would
- 34:03think that. Right.
- 34:04Yeah. Hey, hey, hey, hey.
- 34:05Guys, come on. All right.
- 34:07Are you so? Wronged by each other that you
- 34:10have to literally beat each other up and think that that's
- 34:13OK and then they turned on. Moses, yeah.
- 34:16Right. I don't know.
- 34:19I think that's what we had to think about.
- 34:21Who is your enemy? Who is your enemy?
- 34:24So wait a minute, there's a scripture that says, am I now
- 34:27your enemy because I tell you the truth?
- 34:29So Moses became their enemy. Right, he became their.
- 34:34Enemy SO. Moses only other option is you
- 34:39leave. You gotta leave, I get.
- 34:41It you know, don't take nothing, just.
- 34:44To go, but I notice how they changed.
- 34:46The the scripture here it it changed from Pharaoh to king
- 34:51right I. Mean I don't.
- 34:52Know Pharaoh and King they're. Interchanging, I know, but.
- 34:56I noticed that when I read the Scripture, as I read it, it
- 35:00didn't refer to the Pharaoh again.
- 35:03It referred to when the, you know, the king died.
- 35:06Yeah. So I thought it was interesting
- 35:09how Scroll back down. Remember Moses, the author.
- 35:13Of this of Genesis, Exodus, Deuteronomy, Leviticus, Numbers,
- 35:19he's he's the author of the of the five books of the first five
- 35:22books depend to so that's what he wrote the king, king and
- 35:26Pharaoh, the same thing, right? I just thought it was it was
- 35:30unusual. How he?
- 35:31Changed the vernacular from Pharaoh to king, and I think
- 35:35that probably had to. It's a change in respect from
- 35:39the position he when he was living in Egypt, Pharaoh was the
- 35:45vert was the title. When he now that he's left, he's
- 35:51just a king and I'm not part of that household anymore.
- 35:55Right this. Is.
- 35:57A public administration governance moment.
- 36:01I mean, that's huge. I I mean, that's that light
- 36:04switch flipping on within Moses and making this title change
- 36:10because he's not part of Pharaoh's household anymore.
- 36:13He's. Removed.
- 36:14And now he's just a king. Yep, he's the leader of that
- 36:17land. I'm.
- 36:18I'm not part of that. There's no reverence.
- 36:21Right, right, right. Right.
- 36:23I don't know. That's an amazing.
- 36:25You didn't ever pick up on. That because I knew they're.
- 36:29Interchangeable. Not not having a discussion,
- 36:31right? Not having a discussion, right?
- 36:34I don't know. Something I that was something
- 36:36that I picked up when I read and again.
- 36:40You can read scripture all you want to, but it's always
- 36:44something you missed. There's a thought process.
- 36:46There's something that you just, you didn't overlook it, you just
- 36:48missed it. Well, so.
- 36:50The next part that I got interest is that, you know,
- 36:55sitting down by the well, water plays an important part in the
- 37:00Bible. I mean, there from beginning to
- 37:03end, water plays an important part.
- 37:07You know, one of the biggest visuals even about Jesus is
- 37:11sitting by the well and talking with the prostitute that, you
- 37:16know, there is this feeding. Everybody needs to get fed and
- 37:19there's always that reference to Jesus and water.
- 37:25So this is this is. Not by coincidence, I don't
- 37:28think about here we're having a reference to finding finding
- 37:35people by the well at the water, yet I don't know if we don't
- 37:39have. Water, we don't live right in
- 37:42Christ. Is the.
- 37:42Living water is the living water.
- 37:45So I just thought that was something interesting.
- 37:47And then about the patience of the flock being watered, you
- 37:53know they're there in reference talking about the sheep flock
- 37:59getting watered, but that's, but the people are also getting
- 38:03watered as well. So.
- 38:06But then. I I thought it was interesting
- 38:10how when the girls go back home to talk to her older father,
- 38:15they referenced about Moses as an Egyptian rescued us.
- 38:21So they have not made the connection that that this
- 38:25Egyptian is really a Hebrew. What are your thoughts?
- 38:33It's the way it's I. Mean because it's the identity.
- 38:35Visually, they looked at him as an.
- 38:37Egyptian, right? They had no idea is Hebrew
- 38:40right? He's visually.
- 38:41Closed sounds long maybe? Maybe it's just some some
- 38:46eyeliner or somewhere right his. I want to say character and
- 38:51charisma of things. Countenance is very is speaking
- 38:55very Egyptian, not Hebrew all although you would think there's
- 39:02probably going to be some nuances of the Hebrew that comes
- 39:05out based upon you know his affiliation and still being part
- 39:10of his mother's and sisters I. Agree.
- 39:15I don't know that those. Yeah, there is that part.
- 39:19Where I was telling you the king of Egypt died.
- 39:22So that reverence changed, you know, because he wasn't at that
- 39:26point, wasn't considering him as part of.
- 39:28And he's on the run. Yeah.
- 39:32He's on the run now. This I thought.
- 39:36This, this one of these last sentence.
- 39:38The Israelites groaned in their slavery slavery and cried out
- 39:43and their cry for help. I thought it was interesting the
- 39:46choice of words. Now I know you're saying that
- 39:49Moses wrote this, but. The way it's.
- 39:54Written and saying the Israelites groaned in their
- 39:58slavery and cried out. I thought that.
- 40:02The choice of words. On groaning is.
- 40:08What is interesting? OK, so when?
- 40:10We go back to the very top of the narrative, not in this, not
- 40:13in this section, but another section.
- 40:16It says that when Pharaoh saw that the Hebrews were
- 40:19multiplying, right? In chapter 1, yeah, taskmasters
- 40:23over them. Right, so.
- 40:27Scripture may be silent. About what the Egyptian
- 40:30taskmasters did to the men and women who are Hebrews.
- 40:35But I have a pretty good idea. Wasn't anything good.
- 40:38So the groaning was it was just continued labor, forced labor
- 40:42conscription. It was just it was continued
- 40:46trauma and drama, as we like to say, from the hood and and so
- 40:50I'm just saying, but I but I would.
- 40:53Think even from that context about women as well.
- 40:57It's not always about the physical slavery side of things.
- 41:02It's a very relevant term that we're using in the 21st century
- 41:07of sexual slavery, if we would have.
- 41:10Been sexual as. Well, those he those.
- 41:12Egyptian overlords did as they pleased.
- 41:18You know, we don't have to draw your picture.
- 41:20They just deal with they pleased.
- 41:21In fact, when when the exodus happened out of Egypt crossing
- 41:24the Red Sea, some of those Egyptian people who are named
- 41:28came with the Hebrews who probably some of those children
- 41:31that was born by some of those women.
- 41:33So you know, you don't have to grab graduated from MIT to
- 41:37figure all of this out. It was, it was 430 years.
- 41:41I just think it's. Important for us to acknowledge
- 41:44if we're talking about us as veterans in DSM 5 and our having
- 41:50a, you know, the revivalist is about the veteran ministry
- 41:55geared towards moral injury, healing and recovery.
- 41:58And as many times as I keep talking about it and I'm happy
- 42:02to talk about it. I was even talking about it on
- 42:04my trip is, you know, and wherever I go, I'm always
- 42:08promoting both of my shows. You know, it's, it's always, I
- 42:13think the more we can tell folks about what we do with military
- 42:18broadcasting, it's always somebody who didn't hear the.
- 42:20Show somebody. Somebody.
- 42:21'S needing some help or if they even if they don't need it, they
- 42:25can they know somebody who needs help.
- 42:27But but we are a veteran ministry geared towards moral
- 42:31injury, healing and recovery, helping to put God as the center
- 42:35of our true moral compass, the north right, true north of our
- 42:40moral compass. And it's important for us to,
- 42:44you know, like I was talking about my show yesterday.
- 42:49I told you briefly that I discussed about the execution of
- 42:53Hassan right coming up in December.
- 42:58People probably are. Having this dialogue, I'm seeing
- 43:02some of the postings on Facebook already.
- 43:05Should we watch it? Shouldn't we watch it?
- 43:07Maybe it should be pay-per-view only, not the public consumption
- 43:13side of things. And I I think the most
- 43:17important. Question we each have.
- 43:20To ask for ourselves is what is right for us and and go to God
- 43:25with that question. That's what it looks like that
- 43:30they are planning on doing is showing it live.
- 43:34But that's where I think we have to, we have to go to God,
- 43:39whether that is something for us to watch or not to watch.
- 43:44Is it going to cause trauma, moral injury or maybe it helps
- 43:52somebody with some kind of moral healing and recovery that what
- 43:56they have fought for is not off or not.
- 43:59I think there's both sides of the coin to look at, but that's
- 44:04really a question and answer between you and God before you
- 44:08watch it or you don't watch it and that's not for me to or you
- 44:12to answer or anybody else. You've got to ask God, is it
- 44:17right for you when we're. Doing our show, this is not us
- 44:22attempting to play a role on quiz show.
- 44:25This is it's in scripture. And maybe some people don't
- 44:31agree with our point of view, our perspective, particularly
- 44:36when we talk about moral injury. But I'll tell you, the people
- 44:40that you will run into who have been victims of moral injury,
- 44:44then even now they'll tell you it's all relevant.
- 44:50Well, if you're if. You're, you know, looking at
- 44:52whether you would, would or should you know not that you
- 44:57could, you we all can, but whether you would or should is
- 45:02is it? Is it going to cause?
- 45:05You trauma, is it going to cause you moral injury or does it come
- 45:10down to helping you heal right. I mean, I think that's that's
- 45:16really I think the right frame of reference for folks to look
- 45:20at that. But that's between you and God
- 45:22because no matter what happens here on earth, God's going to
- 45:25take care of him and them. And I say them because I told
- 45:30you before the show the part that I really, the people who
- 45:35I'm really praying for are the ones who are going to be doing
- 45:39the firing. And I think.
- 45:43For those folks, those are, I say folks because it'd be men
- 45:48and women. Those are the folks who I don't
- 45:52want to, I'm going to use this word.
- 45:54I don't want to be caught in the crossfire of the dialogue.
- 45:58Well, how did you know? You just imagine those, those
- 46:01nosy news people. How did that feel?
- 46:06Pulling the trigger to kill somebody does.
- 46:09Anybody ever want? To answer that question, I mean,
- 46:12I think only to say this, but that happens with the people who
- 46:17you know, served on deployments and have had, you know, they
- 46:21were following orders and they get caught.
- 46:25You still had a choice, no? No, I didn't.
- 46:28Actually. No, I didn't.
- 46:29I was given an order. I don't follow the order, then
- 46:32something's going to happen to me.
- 46:34So we, we understand that as veterans that when we're given
- 46:37orders, direct orders that we have to comply and we don't
- 46:41comply, then there's something called a non judicial punishment
- 46:45or judicial or. Judicial food that will occur.
- 46:47To us, so it's, yeah, we understand not because we're
- 46:51afraid, it's because we enlisted to serve our country at the
- 46:57highest and the lowest in the middle part levels.
- 46:59So that's what we do. That's what we did.
- 47:01But in this case. How it always sums?
- 47:05Up back to Moses is that Moses believed morally and ethically
- 47:12that he was doing the right thing and the right thing got
- 47:15him in his predicament where he had to flee the comfort of the
- 47:19palace to go to the desert for 40 years.
- 47:23Well, you know you. Think about it.
- 47:25The you know, you're right, The his, his he thought in his moral
- 47:31context of things that killing, killing the Egyptian who was
- 47:36harming the the Hebrew was the right thing to do.
- 47:41Well, somebody would have missed that guy, right?
- 47:43I mean, no matter how bad a guy he was supposed to.
- 47:49Be back today. He still had a family.
- 47:51Somebody would have been questioning where he was and you
- 47:55can only imagine Moses is probably on a horse and you know
- 47:58he would have had certain privileges being part of
- 48:01Pharaohs household. Somebody would have missed that
- 48:04guy. Somebody would have connected
- 48:06the dots you. Know.
- 48:08That saw Moses right through there.
- 48:14But if this is Moses accounting of things, he's not going to be
- 48:19able to, he's not going to give us all the weeds either.
- 48:22Or maybe the weeds were edited out for us.
- 48:25You know, he could have written it all way back when.
- 48:28But certain, you know, people who know how to edit the Bible
- 48:33way back when chose to, you know, omit some of these details
- 48:38that we would be, you know, that's what that means.
- 48:41The weeds. Details.
- 48:42OK, Yeah. I mean, but but somebody missed
- 48:47out and then you had these two observant, you know, Hebrews who
- 48:52recognized who he was and it had already gotten back to them.
- 48:58But. They somehow.
- 48:59Thought that there was some kind of moral indignation against
- 49:05them, because are you going to do to me what you did to them?
- 49:11They had every right to fear Moses, right?
- 49:13Because they saw something. Either they saw or somebody saw,
- 49:16but you would think in some way they.
- 49:18Would think, hey dude, thanks for looking out for us.
- 49:22But they instead they. Didn't say thank you for looking
- 49:25out for us. You are you are you going to?
- 49:27We got something on you. Yeah, we got something on you,
- 49:31right? It's always about.
- 49:32The chance are you going to do that to us?
- 49:35Forget that he had was saving one of their own.
- 49:40Or maybe. They were making the leap.
- 49:42That he was going to do the same thing to them, but he saved one
- 49:45of them, so the one he saved. I'm thinking when he told
- 49:48someone who identified Moses, that's him.
- 49:51Oh, that's a good. Way I didn't think.
- 49:54Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 49:58He because he, the Egyptian, didn't kill the guy.
- 50:00The Egyptian got killed, but the guy who got saved when he told
- 50:04right his folk, yeah. Loose lips sink.
- 50:08Ships man. Oh my goodness.
- 50:13It's always a snitch, Somebody somewhere, you know something
- 50:18the guy got saved from getting a beaten and or being murdered.
- 50:22He. Goes and tell.
- 50:24Moses come back the next day, everybody know he's a full
- 50:28description of Moses. Everybody know who he is and now
- 50:31Moses has to Moses has to confront these two people say,
- 50:36oh, you're going to kill us like you killed the Egyptian.
- 50:38Now you got to run for his life because he knows it's known and
- 50:41it was known well, he said somebody missed this guy, right?
- 50:46It got. Back to Pharaoh.
- 50:47Pharaoh says, well, I, I told you we had to kill all them
- 50:52Hebrews and look what happens. Yeah, right.
- 50:55He called his daughter on the carpet, the whole thing, or the
- 50:58palace floor, whatever. Imagine Pharaoh.
- 51:00Was not happy that night, but he had to make an example.
- 51:04He had to he. Had to make an.
- 51:06Example out of him, you couldn't let it slide because he killed.
- 51:08An Egyptian. It wasn't Hebrew.
- 51:09He killed an Egyptian. You know, you.
- 51:11You. Almost think I just had this
- 51:13thought how much the story would have been different if Moses
- 51:17hadn't done that at all. We wouldn't.
- 51:20Have Exodus the way we know it now.
- 51:22You know the man. Yeah, God would have used
- 51:23somebody else. Yeah, now.
- 51:26Moses. But because he.
- 51:28Had to escape. Let's see how many.
- 51:32Escapes have. We had, we've had a bunch of
- 51:35escapes already from Genesis and right, I mean, think about it,
- 51:41we've had. Abraham escape.
- 51:46Yeah, well, Noah, actually Noah escape he.
- 51:48Escaped. He escaped the.
- 51:50Flood, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob.
- 51:52Yeah, Joseph. I think this is more.
- 51:55Messaging for you in the Chronicles in.
- 51:58You know what? I'm gonna light it up this week,
- 52:01y'all. I'm gonna this the the the the
- 52:05great escapes of the Bible. Think about it.
- 52:10But how many of? Us How many of us, even as
- 52:14veterans, left situations and joined the military?
- 52:23I had. I had to.
- 52:24Leave East Saint Louis and my my choices were minimized working
- 52:30some menial job perhaps or become a pharmaceutical sidewalk
- 52:34salesman, you know, drug dealer. So no, I was not interested.
- 52:38I had always wanted to go into the Navy ever since I saw
- 52:41anchors away with Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire.
- 52:43I think the other gentleman was so I, when you saw that Cracker
- 52:47Jack suit and that hat man and, and, and you had to go.
- 52:52So I knew that I was going to go into the Navy.
- 52:54I always knew I didn't want to go anywhere else, not because I
- 52:57was, you know, they, they were lower class.
- 53:00I just want to go in the Navy. And I'm glad that I did because
- 53:03when I look back on before I left, when I was about to leave
- 53:08and after I left, some of the people that I grew up with are
- 53:10no longer with us because they took those routes.
- 53:14I I think you. Know mine was escaping small
- 53:18town and there was more than growing up in Grand Prairie.
- 53:23I didn't want to do my my at the Grand Prairie we see today.
- 53:28Yeah, it's not the same. And it was, you know, it was a
- 53:30much smaller town back then, but I knew that there was more to
- 53:34life for me than being a secretary that my mom wanted me
- 53:38to. That was her, for instance,
- 53:39saying who just could be a secretary?
- 53:41And I just was like, I don't want to do it.
- 53:44He was like, uh oh. You don't see.
- 53:47Any boy in being a secretary, he was like.
- 53:50You know, there's more to. Life than doing that.
- 53:53So no, we're not doing that. Yeah, yeah.
- 53:57Generational. It won't, it won't continue.
- 54:00No, it stops. It stops with me.
- 54:02No, Yeah, there's. More to even adventure in life.
- 54:05Well, I shoot it back home, too. Oh, they got a secretarial pool
- 54:08I. Then what we're.
- 54:12Talking about today then what? Yeah, I just.
- 54:15No, that was not going to be the writing on the wall for Eva.
- 54:19There was. So what do you do?
- 54:21I'm. Secretary.
- 54:21Oh, where? Right.
- 54:23And it keeps going. Yeah, you know there.
- 54:26Was there was a guy that I went out with?
- 54:29I was a junior, Eva dated. Yeah.
- 54:34Very minimal, this just in breaking.
- 54:36News. I was like, maybe one of the
- 54:40whole. Five dates in my life.
- 54:42I, I, I don't have much dating experience, but I say that
- 54:47because, you know, I saw that even this guy, nice guy, but was
- 54:53not going to go anywhere. And I just, I felt, I felt the
- 54:57great outdoors calling me, you know, And what was the military?
- 55:01It was the great outdoors. It was.
- 55:03It was sense of. Adventure that I could be more
- 55:08you know what the Army slogan back then be all you can be.
- 55:12And that still commercials. It was so good, right?
- 55:15But that's still been part of my personas.
- 55:18Be all I can be in every facet of my life.
- 55:22Be all I can be. I'm just going to perform 100%
- 55:26at all levels. And you can see that even here
- 55:28at my house, I am. I am body the life, yeah, The
- 55:34way I live it, in every form and capacity, you model it
- 55:37perfectly. Evil you do even though see I'm
- 55:41if you guys ever seen that that TV show monk and Columbo on both
- 55:45of them man I I got OCD so bad. It just bothers me to see stuff
- 55:49out of place and she makes it happen.
- 55:53She can't. Eva has a.
- 55:56Schedule. She sticks to the schedule and
- 55:58but you know, being in the military, that's what we know.
- 56:00We're always on the schedule. We're on the time, we're on the
- 56:02timeline. So was Moses, so we.
- 56:06Just have a couple minutes left. I've been watching the clock so
- 56:12this has been pretty insightful. I think in many ways touching
- 56:15back on the biblical side of it, but then also wrapping it into
- 56:22current version of DSM 5 for moral injury, healing and
- 56:27recovery. Not only the way we lived her
- 56:30life just had some moral. Injury because he had to leave.
- 56:33Well, for sure. For sure, because every the life
- 56:38that he knew was came to an erupt in, but that's how things
- 56:43kind of happened for us in the military as well.
- 56:47That whatever that life was, we found an A reason to exit stage
- 56:53right or exit stage left, however is appropriate for you
- 56:56to say, sorry, I'm bumped the table.
- 56:59You know that that's important for us to recognize.
- 57:04How do we make the? Cognizant connection between
- 57:10moral injury that has happened in whatever phase in our life
- 57:15and and make that transition into moral healing and recovery
- 57:20the desire to. Do so.
- 57:22It has to begin with us. We could be prompted and killed
- 57:25by anyone else, but inherently it begins with us.
- 57:29If you want, you need, you desire to be healed, it begins
- 57:34with you. You cannot carry.
- 57:37Weight that is not yours anymore.
- 57:40The event occurred, but you still have to place yourself in
- 57:43a positive position to succeed to ensure that you can begin to
- 57:48erase what occurred. You may never forget it, but you
- 57:52have to forgive yourself as well.
- 57:54Reframe it. I, I always consider, you know,
- 57:57you've got to reframe and you know, I have a friend who was
- 58:02told, tell yourself 5 positive affirmation every day.
- 58:07Well, five may feel like too many, but you know what, what if
- 58:10you start out with one positive affirmation a day until you feel
- 58:14more comfortable with that, then you can grow it to two.
- 58:18These are positive changes that you start making and it doesn't
- 58:22feel like you're flipping on a switch and suddenly you're a
- 58:24different person, but you're embracing and doing that self
- 58:28talk that helps you get through relearning how to live the next
- 58:33part of your life. Like we're probably, you know,
- 58:35we're going to watch Moses do some transformation to shed the
- 58:39Egyptian side and learn how to embrace his Hebrew side self.
- 58:44Yes, yes. We can't be everything to
- 58:46everybody, but we can be everything that God wants us to
- 58:50be. Take that with you today and
- 58:53find that one positive affirmation and allow the Lord
- 58:57our God to assist you in enhancing it.
- 59:01Dear Heavenly Father. Thank you for joining us today.
