There's a lot of Christian videos out there and Muslim

videos where they're making a statement that New Atheism is

And they're right. Atheism is pretty much dead on

YouTube. Even the Amazing Atheist made a

video where he talked about how irrelevant he's become and how

he just isn't keeping up with the the times.

He's just simply not. There's a lot of atheists out

there who are rebranding themselves where they're getting

rid of the name Skeptic in their name.

For instance, Cosmic Skeptic. He actually goes under his real

name now and would prefer to be known for who he is as opposed

to his theological position. I myself had that same thing

happened to me whenever I was a former atheist, where I wanted

people to know who I was, not just what my position was at the

where Christians give good reasons and explanations on why

the new atheism basically was the final straw for atheism, why

it pretty much died. But as a former atheist, I think

that I can also give some more points on why it died and what

I'm just going to tell you why, why they died, why it went from

Well, let's start with my own personal perspective of what it

was like to exist during the time of the old atheism and what

was happening. What was the difference between

old atheism and now? Well, I was one of the first

atheists to ever come to YouTube, Google and start making

videos against religion and talking about myself.

But I was different than most atheists because I shared my

personal life. I was an open book.

There wasn't anything you couldn't possibly know about me.

I was always honest. I told people about my flaws.

I told people I'm not a perfect person.

And these are the reasons why I have issue with religion.

And I left myself open so people could actually come talk to me.

I talked about my emotional problems.

I talked about my depression. I talked about problems I had

within my own family's framework.

People got to know me on a very powerful level.

And what they also learned about me is though I had mood swing

sometimes and got angry and sometimes I was extremely nice

and easy to talk to. I would also do shows where

people could come chat with me. And I built a community for

atheist and religious people. A lot of religious people back

in the day didn't know how to do live streaming.

A lot of atheists were just starting to learn.

I was one of the first ones that taught people how to make money

on the Internet as well. I remember when I first started

telling people, hey I've got a PayPal or I've got a a way for

They started called me E beggar and I got a really bad

reputation for that in the beginning.

But I needed to pay my bills and I felt like if I was doing all

this work making videos, I should get paid for my content.

And a lot of atheists attacked me at first, but eventually they

started taking up my business plan and doing exactly what I

learn from me. They were able to get something

that would benefit them no matter what your faith was or

You know, I can love you for who you are, but as far as what you

identify yourself as well, that's your problem.

That's your issue. People knew that they could come

Besides me, there were people that were on television from

At this time, these atheists were not making vlog videos.

They were going out and debating in front of assemblies and group

of people, and they were good at it.

People like Hitchens were damn good at what they did.

They found their niches did. Richard Dawkins, but these were

But Richard Dawkins, although he was disrespectful to people's

beliefs and debate, was also the type of man who had no issue

with being friends with Christians.

Christopher Hitchens, if you read any books about him or his

own writings, he would admit and concede that he had more

religious friends and he had atheist friends.

opposed to people who are beside you in real life who are your

he had more Christian friends who knew him personally than he

supporters and fans, but I think we all can admit there's a

difference between a massive amount of fans over that of

people who actually walk with you and talk to you on a daily

dying, Christians were actually standing around him.

They were there for him in his last days when the cancer took

It was Christians who was there for him on in his last moments

He was prepared to die in his sentence and his non belief.

But people would tell you that he was a kind and generous

They simply wanted some answers. And they also seen religion as a

problem that was causing issue with science and politics.

They believed that religious people were going too far with

some of their views and some of their position, and they simply

wanted to stand up as a defense or a wall.

There was real goals and real reasons why atheists were

Now this set a lot of atheists on fire.

It basically ignited this need to say, look, if we don't do

something about religion now, then people of faith are going

their mission to try to do what they thought was the right thing

to do, to change things. All this was good in a way,

because a lot of Christians seen atheists as caring, moral

people, people who had just as many disagreements as some

Muslims did that over their faith and their religion, it

to live our lives and pay our bills, and then these bastards

Atheists and Christians at this point were very vulnerable and

And back then YouTube and social media was more about people

connecting with each other and making friends than it was about

used to be human. They used to be people and

They said. We're going to start giving out

So atheist started realizing, hey, wait a minute, we can kind

We can make money off of this. And atheism started becoming its

own religion, its own little community that was basically

decided that the group needed to be about US, against them,

My perspective never changed. I always seen that I loved

about rational, logical thinking anymore.
