- 0:19Stillness between us.
- 0:33You linger in my head, a search I never started.
- 0:39Quietly LED. I close my eyes.
- 0:44You drift a little nearer. Silent mornings, your voice just
- 0:51a whisper, trace the outline where you would be.
- 1:00One empty pillow, two hands wishing, lips barely parting
- 1:09your name on your breath, holding on the hush just waiting
- 1:18each night falling through draw to you all signs leading, every
- 1:28hint it's true. Underneath skin you're echoing
- 1:34in me. I can't hide what you.
- 1:39Need. You're the answer to every wish.
- 1:44I never spoke, pulled by a feeling that never broke.
- 1:53All this warning, all this needs you.
- 1:56Always close and hold up. In all the hopes I never chose,
- 2:05soft and certain. It's always been you.
- 2:09No one else has heard on the back of my neck, words hanging
- 2:22between us. Hello ladies and gentlemen, my

- 3:17PM Central, I always do a live show.
- 3:20This week I'm going to be doing more than usual.
- 3:24There's going to be a debate with Smokey Sink and TTR and
- 3:27Tuesday. Kent Hovind is coming on the
- 3:30show tomorrow I believe. Yes.
- 3:34Yeah. Monday and today I'm going to be
- 3:37going and Co hosting with Brother Maverick.
- 3:40I've been doing a lot of shows with other people as well as I
- 3:43started making solo videos again.
- 3:47People are probably going to wonder why, Brett, you're doing
- 3:49a good job making live shows. Why are you also doing solo
- 3:53videos and all this other work? Well, to be fair with you,
- 3:57there's a lot of topics I like to talk about that unfortunately
- 4:02I never have a chance to talk about on live shows because
- 4:06people either want to debate certain topics or issues like
- 4:10what happened recently with Brother Maverick and Dank.
- 4:15They wanted to debate socialism, communism versus capitalism.
- 4:20So it became a entire show about politics and what's beneficial
- 4:25for society. Well, today I wanted to talk
- 4:29about something I've been seeing a lot happen.
- 4:33There's a lot of Christian videos out there and Muslim
- 4:35videos where they're making a statement that New Atheism is
- 4:40dead, that basically the atheist Ryan of terror is over.
- 4:46And they're right. Atheism is pretty much dead on
- 4:50YouTube. Even the Amazing Atheist made a
- 4:53video where he talked about how irrelevant he's become and how
- 4:58he just isn't keeping up with the the times.
- 5:02He's just simply not. There's a lot of atheists out
- 5:05there who are rebranding themselves where they're getting
- 5:09rid of the name Skeptic in their name.
- 5:11For instance, Cosmic Skeptic. He actually goes under his real
- 5:15name now and would prefer to be known for who he is as opposed
- 5:19to his theological position. I myself had that same thing
- 5:24happened to me whenever I was a former atheist, where I wanted
- 5:29people to know who I was, not just what my position was at the
- 5:33time. Now there's a lot of videos
- 5:36where Christians give good reasons and explanations on why
- 5:40the new atheism basically was the final straw for atheism, why
- 5:48it pretty much died. But as a former atheist, I think
- 5:53that I can also give some more points on why it died and what
- 6:00went wrong for atheist. I don't think that atheists are
- 6:05going to listen to what I have to say and turn it around or
- 6:09make any changes to fix the problem.
- 6:13So I'm not giving out any secrets or any like, you know,
- 6:18treats or weaponry for atheists to use in this process.
- 6:22I'm just going to tell you why, why they died, why it went from
- 6:27something that was relevant to dog shit.
- 6:31Well, let's start with my own personal perspective of what it
- 6:35was like to exist during the time of the old atheism and what
- 6:41was happening. What was the difference between
- 6:44old atheism and now? Well, I was one of the first
- 6:50atheists to ever come to YouTube, Google and start making
- 6:55videos against religion and talking about myself.
- 7:00But I was different than most atheists because I shared my
- 7:03personal life. I was an open book.
- 7:07There wasn't anything you couldn't possibly know about me.
- 7:10I was always honest. I told people about my flaws.
- 7:14I told people I'm not a perfect person.
- 7:17And these are the reasons why I have issue with religion.
- 7:22And I left myself open so people could actually come talk to me.
- 7:26I talked about my emotional problems.
- 7:29I talked about my depression. I talked about problems I had
- 7:33within my own family's framework.
- 7:37People got to know me on a very powerful level.
- 7:41And what they also learned about me is though I had mood swing
- 7:45sometimes and got angry and sometimes I was extremely nice
- 7:49and easy to talk to. I would also do shows where
- 7:54people could come chat with me. And I built a community for
- 7:59atheist and religious people. A lot of religious people back
- 8:03in the day didn't know how to do live streaming.
- 8:05A lot of atheists were just starting to learn.
- 8:08I was one of the first ones that taught people how to make money
- 8:11on the Internet as well. I remember when I first started
- 8:16telling people, hey I've got a PayPal or I've got a a way for
- 8:20you to donate or support me through money.
- 8:23They started called me E beggar and I got a really bad
- 8:27reputation for that in the beginning.
- 8:29But I needed to pay my bills and I felt like if I was doing all
- 8:33this work making videos, I should get paid for my content.
- 8:37And a lot of atheists attacked me at first, but eventually they
- 8:40started taking up my business plan and doing exactly what I
- 8:45was doing. They all opened up Patrions and
- 8:48Paypals and Stripe and cash apps and everything else, as did
- 8:53Christians. See, Christians were able to
- 8:56learn from me. They were able to get something
- 8:59that would benefit them no matter what your faith was or
- 9:03your belief. If you talk to Brett Keene, you
- 9:05were going to learn how to make neat videos, you were going to
- 9:08learn how to do graphics, you were going to learn how to add
- 9:11music. I used to do tutorials, teaching
- 9:14people how to make proper videos and live stream and do all this
- 9:18kind of stuff. A lot of people started creating
- 9:21their own shows due to me. I existed long before podcasts
- 9:27like Drunken Peasants. I existed before The Amazing
- 9:31Atheist. I existed before a lot of
- 9:33atheists even had the courage to hit record on their webcams or
- 9:38even think of getting a microphone and sharing their
- 9:41ideas and thoughts. But there was a mistake that was
- 9:45made, ladies and gentlemen. Well, before I get into the
- 9:50mistakes, let me tell you what the atmosphere was like back
- 9:55then. I was a nice guy who had some
- 9:59things that I was angry about, but I wasn't just an angry
- 10:04person. I could make friends with
- 10:07anybody. I didn't care if you were a
- 10:09Satanist or a Christian or a Muslim.
- 10:12To Pagan. I always use that type of
- 10:16phrase. That's one of my keen isms.
- 10:19I was a person that respected everybody.
- 10:22But I would make it clear though, I respect you and I love
- 10:26you as a person, I will most likely never accept what it is
- 10:31that you're talking about whenever it comes to religion or
- 10:34politics and yada, yada, yada. It basically, it was kind of
- 10:39like love the Sinner but hate the sin type of existence.
- 10:45You know, I can love you for who you are, but as far as what you
- 10:50identify yourself as well, that's your problem.
- 10:53That's your issue. People knew that they could come
- 10:57talk to me behind the scenes. People knew that I was a real
- 11:00person. People knew that Brett Keene
- 11:04wasn't just an atheist. Brett Keene was the whole damn
- 11:08package. I had a lot going for me and I
- 11:13actually authentically and sincerely cared about the world.
- 11:17I actually thought that religion at the time was a problem of
- 11:20poison that was making people sick.
- 11:23I sincerely thought that I was helping people and trying to fix
- 11:28the world. My desire was not to mock and
- 11:32bully people and make people feel like dog shit as were other
- 11:36atheists. They took all their anger and
- 11:39rage and decided to use it as a means to make other people feel
- 11:45like shit. They didn't care about what the
- 11:48future of Christianity was. They didn't care about Islam or
- 11:51Muslims. They didn't care if one day to
- 11:54the next the pagans got wiped out.
- 11:57They didn't. That's where I did.
- 12:00And I still today care about the future and lives of everyone out
- 12:04there, including atheist, even though they've done some pretty
- 12:08disrespectful things to me. Now.
- 12:11Besides me, there were people that were on television from
- 12:14time to time, like Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins.
- 12:18At this time, these atheists were not making vlog videos.
- 12:22They were going out and debating in front of assemblies and group
- 12:26of people, and they were good at it.
- 12:29People like Hitchens were damn good at what they did.
- 12:32They found their niches did. Richard Dawkins, but these were
- 12:36people who were not interested in getting on YouTube at the
- 12:40time. YouTube was bullshit anyway.
- 12:45But Richard Dawkins, although he was disrespectful to people's
- 12:49beliefs and debate, was also the type of man who had no issue
- 12:55with being friends with Christians.
- 12:57Christopher Hitchens, if you read any books about him or his
- 13:00own writings, he would admit and concede that he had more
- 13:05religious friends and he had atheist friends.
- 13:08That's right. There's a difference between
- 13:11being a rock star and having a bunch of fans love you as
- 13:15opposed to people who are beside you in real life who are your
- 13:20friend. Christopher Hitchens said that
- 13:22he had more Christian friends who knew him personally than he
- 13:26had atheist friends. He had lots of atheist
- 13:28supporters and fans, but I think we all can admit there's a
- 13:32difference between a massive amount of fans over that of
- 13:36people who actually walk with you and talk to you on a daily
- 13:39basis. When Christopher Hitchens was
- 13:44dying, Christians were actually standing around him.
- 13:48They were there for him in his last days when the cancer took
- 13:52hold and the sickness caused his body to rattle.
- 13:57It was Christians who was there for him on in his last moments
- 14:00of life even though he made it clear he didn't want anybody
- 14:05trying to convert him or switch him over.
- 14:08He was prepared to die in his sentence and his non belief.
- 14:13But people would tell you that he was a kind and generous
- 14:16person. His brother spoke very
- 14:18positively of him. They had some issues at first.
- 14:24So basically when I'm getting that, ladies and gentlemen, is
- 14:27that the old atheist didn't have a chip on their shoulder.
- 14:31They simply wanted some answers. And they also seen religion as a
- 14:36problem that was causing issue with science and politics.
- 14:41They believed that religious people were going too far with
- 14:44some of their views and some of their position, and they simply
- 14:48wanted to stand up as a defense or a wall.
- 14:52There was real goals and real reasons why atheists were
- 14:56bothered. And then 911 happened where the
- 14:59Muslims ran a fucking airplane into the towers.
- 15:03Now this set a lot of atheists on fire.
- 15:07It basically ignited this need to say, look, if we don't do
- 15:13something about religion now, then people of faith are going
- 15:15to destroy the world. So Christ atheists had made it
- 15:19their mission to try to do what they thought was the right thing
- 15:23to do, to change things. All this was good in a way,
- 15:28because a lot of Christians seen atheists as caring, moral
- 15:32people, people who had just as many disagreements as some
- 15:38Christians out there. I'm sure that a lot of
- 15:40Christians when they seen that happened and heard that these
- 15:43Muslims did that over their faith and their religion, it
- 15:47probably rattled a lot of Christians too.
- 15:49A lot of Christians probably when they seen the smoke and
- 15:52explosions happening from the building, you probably said,
- 15:55God, why did this happen? For what did we do to deserve
- 16:00this? You know, we've been just trying
- 16:03to live our lives and pay our bills, and then these bastards
- 16:07take over an airplane and do this and cause all the suffering
- 16:11and thousands of unnecessary deaths.
- 16:17Atheists and Christians at this point were very vulnerable and
- 16:20people were talking and people were connecting.
- 16:24And back then YouTube and social media was more about people
- 16:28connecting with each other and making friends than it was about
- 16:32making money and selling T-shirts and all that kind of
- 16:35crap. The point is, is that atheists
- 16:41used to be human. They used to be people and
- 16:45Christians used to be just people who talked about their
- 16:49faith and non believers would talk about why they had their
- 16:53issues and views and no one was intimidated or scared of each
- 16:57other. Everybody was willing to go into
- 17:00rooms and talk things out like adults do, like men and women
- 17:04do. But something happened.
- 17:08Google ended up rewarding controversy and nonsense.
- 17:14They said. We're going to start giving out
- 17:16partner programs. We're going to pay people.
- 17:18The more clicks and views you get, the more rich you get, the
- 17:22more wealthy you get. But you have to make videos that
- 17:25get people's attention. You have to have click bait
- 17:27titles. You have to have really, really
- 17:30crazy stuff that will enforce the desire of people to watch
- 17:35your channel. The thumbnails have to be
- 17:38ridiculous. Notice the thumbnails and a lot
- 17:41of YouTube videos nowadays where people are making it ridiculous
- 17:44faces or doing stupid things where they got their mouth wide
- 17:48open or they warp their face in order to look a certain way.
- 17:52Even the drama channels do it where when they're making fun of
- 17:56people, they make they take imagery of the people and then
- 17:59Photoshop it and make people look all ridiculous or warped
- 18:03like you're in a nightmare. Obviously for attention's sake.
- 18:12So atheist started realizing, hey, wait a minute, we can kind
- 18:17of build our own church, couldn't we?
- 18:19We could hand out the collection bowl.
- 18:21We can make money off of this. And atheism started becoming its
- 18:25own religion, its own little community that was basically
- 18:31hanging on by threads. An atheist for some reason
- 18:35decided that the group needed to be about US, against them,
- 18:40instead of we're all in the same boat with each other.
- 18:46My perspective never changed. I always seen that I loved
- 18:50Christians and I loved everybody.
- 18:54My perspective was that you all were my cosmic family members.
- 19:00I'd never changed from that. Even whenever I changed from
- 19:03atheism over into religion, I'd always had the perspective that
- 19:07I could be friends with anybody, no matter how unusual your views
- 19:11were. My only simple rule is, as long
- 19:14as your ideology and your view didn't involve hurting people or
- 19:19being violent or aggressive or hurting innocents, you could be
- 19:24my friend. I would care for you, and I
- 19:27would try to help you if I could.
- 19:30But atheists became more about hurting people and making money
- 19:34while doing it. And the Christians started
- 19:37noticing this. They noticed that atheism wasn't
- 19:41about rational, logical thinking anymore.
- 19:43It was about a bunch of little dirty bastards who were unbayed
- 19:47dropouts from high school obese people who were narcissistic who
- 19:53got on video talking down to them and talking to them like
- 19:56they were fucking shit. This whole you don't know
- 20:00science, you're fucking stupid. Oh, if you believe in a
- 20:04imaginary sky daddy then you're fucking mentally ill.
- 20:09This brought Christians to the realization that atheists did
- 20:13not care about them, atheists had no interest in them, and
- 20:17atheists definitely weren't going to offer any alternatives.
- 20:22And at some point in time, Christians realize that atheists
- 20:25didn't have their own alternative world view.
- 20:29Basically, they were trying to take religion away from you and
- 20:32your faith, but they weren't offering you anything to a
- 20:36foundation to fall back on. It's one thing to tell people
- 20:41that their God is bullshit and tell them that their religion is
- 20:45crap, but if you got nothing for them to lay their head on
- 20:50afterwards then they're just going to hit fucking hard.
- 20:52Concrete atheism literally offered nothing.
- 20:57It offered. Oh well, you give up your faith
- 21:00and if you're wrong then you go to hell.
- 21:03And after you're right and there is nothing then what's the
- 21:05point? Why try?
- 21:07Why put forth in the effort? Why try to make the world a
- 21:10better place? It's determined that we're all
- 21:13going to die anyway, from cradle to the grave.
- 21:16Which, by the way, I wrote a song about that.
- 21:24So atheist became very shallow. There wasn't.
- 21:29When you watched an atheist, you didn't feel like you were
- 21:32watching a rational, logical thinker anymore.
- 21:35You were watching some dirty, unbathed obesity with purple
- 21:40hair telling you that men are men can be women and women can
- 21:46be men, and the woke ideology came in making atheists sound
- 21:50even more retarded and stupid. So now atheists were just
- 21:56bullies, people who would attack you and yell over you and scream
- 22:00over you instead of actually have a calm, relaxed debate.
- 22:04Nobody took them seriously anymore.
- 22:08Nobody was intimidated about getting in the ring with an
- 22:12atheist anymore. And there was one other thing
- 22:16too. Christians, in the beginning
- 22:19weren't prepared for what was coming.
- 22:22They weren't prepared. They didn't know that there was
- 22:25going to be all these people in the world that were angry and
- 22:29against them. They didn't know that there was
- 22:31a group of people who questioned the very concept of the
- 22:36existence of God. Before I got to the Internet,
- 22:39ladies and gentlemen, I didn't even know there was such a thing
- 22:42as atheists. I didn't even know what to call
- 22:44myself. All's I knew is that I had lost
- 22:49faith in the concept of a loving, caring God who cared
- 22:53about the world and the universe are human interaction.
- 22:58That's all I knew when I first got here.
- 23:00I had to be around people and hear all these clever positions
- 23:04and labels that people gave themselves before I finally was
- 23:07able to lay it down to atheism. But it was different then
- 23:13because there was a time where we were just all people and we
- 23:17were bitching and complaining and we all had good reasons why
- 23:21we were doing it. But nowadays, the only reason
- 23:25why atheists do what they do is because they want to become
- 23:27wealthy and they want to have little 15 year olds hanging out
- 23:31with them, where they just shit on people all fucking day and
- 23:34offer no rational, logical debate or discussion.
- 23:38And they offer no alternatives. And we've heard all the cliche
- 23:43remarks, we've seen all the memes, and it's become boring.
- 23:47It's become irrelevant. Nobody cares.
- 23:50Atheists ended up becoming the very monster that they claimed
- 23:54that they hated. They became bullies, they became
- 23:58dogmatic, they became hardcore fundamentalist and their own
- 24:03position. They use their their views and
- 24:09their nonsense in order to attack people.
- 24:11They weaponized atheism. And I know there's some of you
- 24:16out there that are too stupid to notice that.
- 24:18And you'll be like, what do you mean weaponize?
- 24:20What do you mean? It's being cruel to people
- 24:23daily, mocking people every time you see a religious video
- 24:27instead of telling someone that you hope their day is good or
- 24:30good morning and I would love to talk to you or have a discussion
- 24:34with you. Instead your remarks are fuck
- 24:37you, fuck you and your God. You know I hate you, why don't
- 24:41you die kind of shit or you know you're stupid for believing in
- 24:46the shit that you do. Well, when you do that, you
- 24:50disconnect yourself from any chance you would have had to get
- 24:54through to somebody that you think thinks differently or
- 24:57thinks wrong. When you treat people like that,
- 25:01you're basically saying that you have a social disorder, that you
- 25:05are not capable of being able to have conversations.
- 25:09And then of course, there's a response is like, I don't need
- 25:13to debate you. I don't need to talk to you.
- 25:15I don't need to listen to your shit because, well, I'm smarter
- 25:20than you and you don't know science and yeah, you're a waste
- 25:24of my fucking time. Most of these assholes are
- 25:27sitting around playing fucking Minecraft and Fortnite all day
- 25:32and not even going out and working a job, but they're going
- 25:35to tell you they ain't got fucking time for you.
- 25:38Yeah, you see, they just became an annoyance, like a fucking bug
- 25:44flying around your head and buzzing in your ear.
- 25:51And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what happened.
- 25:55That's what I saw happen. And during my time as a non
- 25:58believer, I tried everything I could to try to convince
- 26:01atheists to do better. I tried, and instead they
- 26:05dragged me through the mud. Instead, they treated any
- 26:08atheists that disagreed with them like the same way they
- 26:11treat religious people. And eventually people like me
- 26:15decided it was time to move on. Find better, greener grasses.
- 26:21Find a different plane of existence.
- 26:23Because this was not the kind of world I wanted to live in where
- 26:27people thought they were justified and destroying
- 26:30people's lives and making people miserable just because they
- 26:34thought differently. So that's pretty much the story
- 26:44and it has not changed. In fact, a lot of really popular
- 26:49atheists that were around when they were kids, they don't want
- 26:53any part of it anymore. I've noticed that there's some
- 26:56videos out there where some atheists are trying to get as
- 26:59far away from what is considered the atheist clique all by
- 27:05themselves. Some of them are actually
- 27:08arguing that even if you don't believe in a God, you should
- 27:12live the Christian way because it's more beneficial for
- 27:15society. Atheists have noticed that the
- 27:19ones that are actually decent, the very few, they're noticing
- 27:24that atheism is about drugs and parties and and not taking care
- 27:29of yourself, not giving a shit. This attitude is we're better
- 27:34than you kind of shit is nonsense.
- 27:39Well, ladies and gentlemen, I could go on all day, but that's
- 27:43pretty much what went down. That's what happened.
- 27:48Christopher Hitchens died, Richard Dawkins got thrown under
- 27:52the bus by atheist. Sam Harris said a lot of stupid
- 27:56shit like rape was good for evolution.
- 27:59It helped to propagate the species.
- 28:04Any atheist that existed at the time, a lot of them won't even
- 28:08make a video anymore and we're left basically with little kids
- 28:14and old emo edge Lords who think that it still works in 2025
- 28:21acting like an asshole, shit talking people and for
- 28:27absolutely no reason. Before I end this video I want
- 28:30to say something to you all that's always amazed me.
- 28:33When I was an atheist and I endorsed evolution, I never felt
- 28:39any kind of narcissism whatsoever.
- 28:42How could I when I used to believe evolution was the way?
- 28:47I never thought that it was cool that I supposedly came from the
- 28:53womb of a baboon, or that I evolved from a fucking fish that
- 28:57swims around in its own shit, or that I might have been a rodent
- 29:01that got eaten by snakes and stepped on by fucking dinosaurs,
- 29:05or that I might share my genetics with a fucking maggot
- 29:09or a banana. I never said to myself, man,
- 29:12that's extraordinary, that's cool, or lied to myself in any
- 29:16kind of way. It's living in a world where I
- 29:20supposedly had to survive for everything I had.
- 29:23I had to kill in order to survive.
- 29:27All my transitions and ancestors had to go through all this
- 29:30fucking mess. There's nothing to be proud of
- 29:34there. I I don't know why some
- 29:37unbelievers glorify that concept, all that destruction in
- 29:43order to get to where you are. So yeah, that's that.
- 29:51So tomorrow, Ken Tobin's coming on Tuesday, there's going to be
- 29:54a debate between Smokey and TTOR and anybody that wants to have
- 30:02me on their podcast or you'd like to interview me or have a
- 30:05discussion, you have a couple different choices.
- 30:08You can either talk to me on my show or you can invite me to
- 30:12your show. If you're an atheist, most
- 30:15likely I will reject coming onto your show because I don't want
- 30:21to be treated like a piece of shit.
- 30:24Nobody does. So that's that.
- 30:29All right. I hope you guys learned
- 30:30something from this. Some of you already knew what
- 30:34I'm telling you.
