- 0:00Speaker 1: Steve, I know you have some words of wisdom to
- 0:03Speaker 1: take us out.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Yeah, you know. I've often asked how I got to
- 0:09Speaker 2: where I am. I always give credit to God for that.
- 0:14Speaker 2: I'm often asked if I wasn't doing this, what would
- 0:18Speaker 2: I do? I'm often asked how does it feel to
- 0:23Speaker 2: be in the position that I'm in. I get oftentimes asked,
- 0:28Speaker 2: what would you suggest for me as a way to
- 0:31Speaker 2: acquire the things in life I want? I'm often asked
- 0:35Speaker 2: so many questions from so many angles. The one consistent
- 0:40Speaker 2: thing I know, if you have any desire to be
- 0:43Speaker 2: successful or happy, whatever it is you decide to do,
- 0:47Speaker 2: if you decide to change, if you decide to do more,
- 0:50Speaker 2: be more, understand one thing. It's going to be hard.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I think you have to put that thought process together
- 0:57Speaker 2: in your mind. I think you have to start thinking
- 0:59Speaker 2: about it in terms of that because a lot of
- 1:01Speaker 2: times people, when you look at Instagram and social media,
- 1:05Speaker 2: it looks easy. It ain't they It's easy to take
- 1:09Speaker 2: a picture with the right angle, with the right light,
- 1:12Speaker 2: with the right filter, with the right bag, with the
- 1:15Speaker 2: right car, with the right house, with the right poles,
- 1:18Speaker 2: with the right makeup. That's easy, But really being that
- 1:23Speaker 2: that would be hard. And everybody you see portraying that
- 1:27Speaker 2: ain't really that because they didn't put in the stuff
- 1:31Speaker 2: behind it. See, what you don't know is that's their
- 1:33Speaker 2: only person, that's their only look, that's their best dress.
- 1:38Speaker 2: That ain't they car that might not be their house.
- 1:41Speaker 2: That's probably a filter. So understand something. If you're making
- 1:46Speaker 2: up in your mind to change, to be more, to
- 1:49Speaker 2: do more, it's hard. It's hard. It's really really hard.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Listening to me, open a business is hard to do.
- 1:59Speaker 2: But staying on the job, working for somebody that don't
- 2:01Speaker 2: like you, that's hard too. It's hard. It's really really hard.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Biggie said that. He said more money, more problems. People
- 2:13Speaker 2: don't realize that, but it comes with a whole new
- 2:15Speaker 2: set of issues. So it is hard being financially secure.
- 2:21Speaker 2: It is hard to be rich. It is hard to
- 2:23Speaker 2: be well off. It's hard to be financially secure. But
- 2:27Speaker 2: guess what, it's hard to be polled to. It is hard.
- 2:30Speaker 2: It is hard to go to the gym and get
- 2:33Speaker 2: yourself in tip top shape. It's really hard to get
- 2:38Speaker 2: yourself back to the shape you really want to be in.
- 2:40Speaker 2: After you then got our shape it's really hard. But
- 2:43Speaker 2: I got news for you. It's hard being out of
- 2:46Speaker 2: shape too. You see, it's hard either way. The decisions
- 2:50Speaker 2: you make in life are hard. You just got to
- 2:55Speaker 2: pick your herd, which one you won't. I happen to
- 2:58Speaker 2: choose the hard that at least provides me with an option.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You know, if you don't like people telling you what
- 3:07Speaker 2: to do, if you don't like being bossed around, then
- 3:10Speaker 2: you're gonna have to go open up a business. Now.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I know that's hard, But ain't it hard every day
- 3:16Speaker 2: going down to a job you don't like that don't
- 3:19Speaker 2: pay you what you worth to, mistreats you, that undervalues you.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Ain't that hard? Yes? Hard? So you gotta make up
- 3:26Speaker 2: your mind, y'all, which hard do you want? It's hard
- 3:30Speaker 2: to get in shape, Yeah, I got it. It's listen.
- 3:33Speaker 2: It's hard to eat right. It's hard to pick the
- 3:37Speaker 2: right foods to put in your mouth because sometimes it
- 3:40Speaker 2: just don't taste as good as the bad stuff. But
- 3:44Speaker 2: guess what, it's hard to eat bad too, because when
- 3:47Speaker 2: you eat bad, it got a consequence to it. What
- 3:50Speaker 2: I'm saying, it's whatever you decide to do, whatever decision
- 3:54Speaker 2: you've made, good or bad. It gonna come with the
- 3:57Speaker 2: consequences of hard. You just got to pick your heart.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I would rather pick the hard that has some positive
- 4:03Speaker 2: outlook or at least creates an option for me. I
- 4:07Speaker 2: would rather take the hard part of trying to eat
- 4:09Speaker 2: right than just eating whatever I want to and suffering
- 4:12Speaker 2: the consequences of what comes behind eating badly. I would
- 4:16Speaker 2: rather go get my blood work done and go see
- 4:19Speaker 2: these doctors than to sit up and wait till it's
- 4:21Speaker 2: too late and somebody give me some bad news and
- 4:23Speaker 2: now it's too late to fix. Come on, y'all. I
- 4:27Speaker 2: know it's hard, but make the decision that will give
- 4:30Speaker 2: you an option. Make the decision that will empower you.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Make the hard decision that will make you better. That's
- 4:39Speaker 2: the decision you have to make. The other one is
- 4:41Speaker 2: not really good. Man. Listen to me. It's so hard
- 4:47Speaker 2: that I'm asking you, and I'm telling you ahead of time.
- 4:50Speaker 2: It's hard, but it's hard if you don't. It is
- 4:54Speaker 2: hard to chase your dreams. It is hard to pursue
- 4:58Speaker 2: your dreams and your visions. But you know, it's really
- 5:02Speaker 2: hard dying and never being the person that God created
- 5:08Speaker 2: you to be. Dying and never doing the thing that
- 5:12Speaker 2: you were born to do. That's hard. So once again,
- 5:18Speaker 2: whatever decision you make out there, folks, it's gonna be hard,
- 5:23Speaker 2: but check this out. Pick the hard that has a
- 5:27Speaker 2: benefit to it. Pick the hard that offers you an option.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Pick the hard that when you succeed at it, you
- 5:36Speaker 2: can look back and go mad. It was hard, but
- 5:40Speaker 2: it was worth it. It was hard, but it was
- 5:44Speaker 2: worth it. Those are my clothing remarks today. If you
- 5:49Speaker 2: didn't like those remarks, tune in tomorrow. We'll try it again.
