Welcome to Nate's Daily Wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's Daily Wager for
• 0:26
May 12th, 2024. Happy Mother's Day out there.
• 0:32
To all my mothers, including my mom, my grandmas, both Mita and
• 0:41
Molly, Happy Mother's Day. To all the other mothers out
• 0:46
there, and especially to all the mothers out there, you know who
• 0:50
  you are. All right.
• 0:52
So Dingo, As we were hoping last night, it was close but not
• 0:58
close enough. And well, that's the way it
• 1:02
goes. And today, sticking to the
• 1:05
basketball, we got the Wolves taking out the Nuggets.
• 1:10
That's what I'm taking a stab at tonight, kind of going back and
• 1:15
forth on this. I'm trying to figure out, did
• 1:16
the Nuggets figure out the Wolves because they had that
• 1:19
time or was it just an off game for the Wolves and are they
• 1:24
back? Got to give up a couple points
• 1:28
tonight. So I'm trying to trying to
• 1:30
decide and all right, I've decided I'm going to stick with
• 1:36
the Wolves. All right, we got like their GM,
• 1:39
it used to be with Denver, he set up this team specifically to
• 1:44
target Denver. So I think last night, yes.
• 1:49
Or not last night, but the last time they played, I think that
• 1:52
was Friday. Nuggets spank the Wolves, but I
• 1:56
think it's going to stay closer. I think the Wolves are going to
• 1:59
win tonight and I think they're going to cover that 2 1/2.
• 2:02
So that's where we're going. So we're going to take
• 2:05
Timberwolves -2, 1/2 against the Nuggets and tonight's NBA
• 2:11
  basketball Western Conference semifinal action.
• 2:15
Say anything better than that? Pound it.
• 2:16
That's my pick, and I'm sticking to it.
