- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: I think I speak for everyone, make it a stage of the LeBron!
- 0:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's too much man, come on!
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: Now there's theories he's doing, it's just screw with Adam Silver, which I kind of respect because I don't like Adam Silver either.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_01]: So if we gotta sit here and paint an agity, because that means Adam Silver is in paint an agity.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know what?
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes you just gotta take that on
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: week after week, it ready for LeBron.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: But there is a question that has a reason for me, young Ryan, when it comes to the state of the calves with LeBron James or without LeBron James.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's an interesting one.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to that on today's show, a ranking in the NFL.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I would assume most rankings you want to be near the top of unless it's like, you know, most three and outs, least amount of points in the first.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's not the case.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: This is a list that I think is very important for where the Cleveland Brown stand.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: How good is your team under the age of 25?
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's all about the future.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's all about the future, baby.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: You would think the Brown should be pretty high on that list.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: We'll tell you where we come out on that.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: little all star break seven and three in their last ten we got a parlay with fandle I love everyone in parlay so I put it into fandle we'll see if we hit you one today a little bit going out with fandle we'll get that Josh creeps join us a little bit later we got it off for you right here on big play welcome the show everybody I am that father Tana he is Ryan
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: Tyler Sapenev, you long big play live here on YouTube, subscribe to the channel, we're live every day, 12 to 130 or whatever.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that is, you know, Bruce and I were talking about this, too, was Ryan.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's the beauty, you know?
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: We can go to whenever, breaking news happens.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: How are you gonna talk about till 130 in this day and age?
- 1:56[SPEAKER_01]: A whole hour and a half, and I look at a watch that I don't wear.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's disrespectful to the baseball.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: We do love the guardians.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: We do love the guard.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's just sometimes when you have a LeBron thing, it's like, Jesus can we learn the news now.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: just do that one now what about now now we have plenty going on uh... subscribe to the channel as always by the great friends at fan rules mark choice bats we got our friends at a garage beer physician's ambulance bringing a show each and every day so i'm and i i really do
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: want to set aside the like the LeBron conversation because we've had it for weeks after weeks after weeks, um, the interesting thing coming out is that he, uh, like, is, is maybe wait, like everybody thought, oh, wait, it's left or suddenly, okay, it's summer, it's summer, it's over, wait until after the world cups, okay, that's over.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: Fanatics fanfest came and went, like every little mark that everybody thinks that he's going to do what he hasn't done it.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: And now just people saying that he's out there trying to screw with that himself, or Adam Silver's trying to push the, which why?
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like to get out ahead of football, teams reported to some teams reported today, Browns got a couple days before the rookies come in.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: Rocks reported, I think.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: Friday.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: Last Friday or something like that.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I don't know what he's waiting for.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's, you know, what did we discuss on last week's Wednesday show that I had this fear that the longer this went on, the worse it was for the calves.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: What nuggets are getting dropped now?
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, he had a team and now he's maybe thinking of another team.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: Now if it was the warriors to start and he's flipped to the cabs, that's good.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: I want to set the LeBron conversation side because there's nothing to talk about there.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's waiting to make his decision.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: There's a conversation I want to have about the cabs.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: And the world that LeBron doesn't come to Cleveland.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't return, okay?
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: because Kobe, like my, my, I gotta tell you this, like it's almost, if LeBron doesn't come to the cabs, do you blame Kobe Altman for that?
- 3:59[SPEAKER_01]: And my initial reaction was going to be, absolutely not, how could you?
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's not his fault.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's LeBron making a decision.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: And then I thought about it a little deeper.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: Well, what's the job of a general manager?
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: Ryan, it's to get good players on your team.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: and a good player is not joining your team.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: That in essence should fall on your general manager, should it not?
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's different than drafting a player that turns out to be a bust or making a trade that you got the raw into that deal.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: This is like, it's a little more convoluted with this one because it's Kobe Altman's job to get good players on this team, you can't force LeBron to join the calves.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: But if LeBron didn't come to Cleveland.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: I could paint a picture to say, well, Colby Allman didn't do a good enough job making this team attractive enough for LeBron to come join them because he didn't feel like he could win a championship.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if it's Bronn went to go play with Steph Curry just because he wants to go play with his friend, that's not Colby's fault.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing you can do about that.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: But if Bronn goes to Miami because he feels like they have a better chance to win a championship, that does fall on Colby Allman.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, I gotta tell you that I am in a mind to f about this whole thing when it comes back to Kobe Altman.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: And you wanna know what?
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm also preparing myself that LeBron isn't gonna come here.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the, I gotta tell you is the first time throughout this whole thing that I've even had the thought process of Bron not coming here, which is scary in its own right.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_01]: But I think you're right, I'm like, man,
- 5:45[SPEAKER_02]: could Kobe have done anything different.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think if you want to put blame on Kobe Altman, it kind of comes down to you have to first see where he ends up going because like you just said, if it's golden state, there's nothing you could have done he wants to go play with Steph Curry, be the most legendary duo that I've seen ever play basketball in my life.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_02]: Same with the Miami Heat, right?
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's a franchise that he's already bent to, Savannah up allegedly, reportedly loves it there, like that's a place he's comfortable with, has ties.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe you can't blame for that, but yeah, I guess if what you're saying if if of surprise team comes out of woodwork, if he goes to the sixers, what do you think it all is this has to be all about a championship, if he goes to the Minnesota same thing.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow, he's saying in the West, he must really think that they can win then maybe you can look at that and kind of blame Kobe all man, but I think just the bigger thing in general is if they don't get Lebron, it's not really just do you blame for not getting Lebron, it's do you blame him for did he hamstring himself to Lebron or you could have been signing for agents.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: see that's, you know, and that's where I would give Kobe a better fit of the doubt on that.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_01]: I would believe.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to try to explain this.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to do a terrible job.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_02]: It's a realistic move that has already happened.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I'm saying.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: It seems done that I would have made this.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: I would have given up every other move they would have made for the hope of getting brought.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like I would have, I don't disagree with the path that the calves have gone on to this point.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: any potential trade that they could have made or addition or act like I guess maybe if you laid them out in front of me I'd be singing a different tune but I just don't know what they would be.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm fine setting every one of those aside just on the hope and chance to get LeBron.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: But then it now inevitably comes back to
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: if he doesn't, is it because the team was not what LeBron wanted?
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: And we discussed this potential staring match between Bronn and Kobe Altman, Bronn potentially wants to move made.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: Kobe said that's fine.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'll make that move.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: You sign your contract.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: Then we'll talk turkey getting rid of Jared Allen, maybe move it on from James.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I think hard and sit around waiting to.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: So not like there's a rush to get that contract done, but he's waiting to see what his money is going to be.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and like bronze homing all this a Jonathan Kominga Ryan's a fan.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_01]: He'd love him on the calves What's he want 20 million I saw 15 to 20.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Lakers offered him initially a two-year 20 So 10 million a year and he said no, they know so he wants a little bump.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: Which in the calves have been doing some reading man if we want to get to that topic of John Lee's Commingo like it would have to be you'd have to execute one of those sign and trades Because Atlanta owns the bird rights.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: They can't sign them to not write contracts without those stipulations Atlanta can give them more and then you can trade them to the calves But what would the Cavalierex use me what would the Hawks want?
- 8:27[SPEAKER_02]: Stru-stru.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: You would hope you'd hope Schroeder because I would be finding part in ways with that go he go back
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: back to Atlanta for like, seven to back.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_02]: And then you're flipping.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: Max Cruz for Jonathan Camingo, which initially, I probably do one for one.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: Max Cruz, if that was the kind of the exchange that you were getting there, I don't want to lose.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_02]: But I think, especially if you're not getting LeBron James, well, he's more of a traditional forward.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: He's more athletic, probably puts maybe better defense.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_02]: But Max Cruz, again, has been one of the Cavaliers most consistent playoff.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: when healthy it's a long time to get over that foot injury and everybody said it was going to take a long time he's an important player to this team I get that yeah you got to start maybe with the what we had doesn't work like that's the other issue that Cavs fans sometimes are having right you don't want to let go of maxtrous patrol sitting or going what I want change okay you know I want this I can't you can't have your cake you need to I want change but
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: And I understand crossroads because there's players people will let's give James Hardin a whole off season to practice with this team.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_02]: Let's give Evan Moby another chance to beef up and become what we thought it would again.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, well, at some point we kind of kind of throw that out the window, right?
- 9:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like, if it hasn't happened yet, but I know James Hardin just got here.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that Evan Moby's so young.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's tough.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the thing you can't
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: There's no world that I'm going to regret that James Harden trade.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's no way, absolutely not.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: It worked out better than you expected.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what the future holds.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: That is one that I will not look back on.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you want to discuss Evan Mobley and Yannis, you want to discuss something else.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, maybe we can get there, but that's one that I can't, I'm not going to regret.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Struz for Kaminga, are you desperate?
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a little bit, you're in this desperate window for the calves right now.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: And are you desperate to go win?
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: Are you desperate to go appease LeBron?
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Those are sometimes two different things.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_02]: you want Brian here because you think he's going to bring winning okay well then you got a first piece of what is that is that Jonathan coming is coming in the fallback is i mean christian i mean i should report it i think yesterday man he said like the the cavaliers clear plan b if they don't get lebron james is to go after john think omega but again that's engine on if the hawks are willing to play ball with you
- 10:47[SPEAKER_02]: So you have a plan B that also isn't certain so it's not it's like right it's still dependent on the hawks saying yes, it's not something that's completely in your power there's other trade rumors going around here by the way.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: Jalen Green coming here with Bronn and Harden going somewhere else that's it.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's there's been so It's just weird weird trades that haven't even been discussed at this point.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: So then I mean guess man if we're kind of talking in that in that stratosphere of the world where the Bronn doesn't come back like Where's your head going to go into this season like yes, they can still make a move like Jonathan coming up
- 11:23[SPEAKER_02]: do you think they need to do it or is this going to be something we'll be going to next year and it's we're looking at this team and it's like well we didn't change anything so why do we expect different results that's
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, sorry.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, like I if you're going to tell me that LeBron doesn't come to the calves.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: They make an ancillary move.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: They bring in commingos.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: They trade out screws.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: James Harden comes back.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: My expectations are still to be in the NBA finals.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: This was a team that is pretty much returning if LeBron doesn't come here.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: That was in the Eastern Conference finals a year ago.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to expect them to take another step forward and finally get there.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, the nicks are still gonna be good.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, the 76ers are much better than they were a year ago.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see what happens with boss and we'll see what happens with quiet Leonard.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: What is going to have with quiet Leonard, by the way?
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't want it.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's interesting, what?
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't care.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a fan of any of those other teams.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers, so I'm going to look at this Cleveland Cavaliers team and sorry, expect them to continue to improve.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: There it is.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: See, here's the other thing.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: You sometimes people fall into this mindset and I think it's been a sickness with the calves over the last couple of years that there is no way to improve except for making trades.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: On the here to tell you that there's actually an easier path to improving.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know what that path is?
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: You improve.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: You just get better.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: The issue is who Ryan, who's the number one example of that, Evan Mobile, because everybody sits here and he's the next Kevin Gardner and he's supposed to be this and he's not there yet and you know what it does, it pisses you off.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's the problem.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_01]: It pisses the fans off because you want to apply that to the whole team and it's not actually coming to fruition.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: I completely understand, but there is a world you just run this team back and I'm going to go on a huge limb here.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm joking and say, hey, why don't you just,
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: play better so if they do get Jonathan coming though is that at least enough to kind of make you feel better going to next year than you did previously if you were to just run it back let's let's say they do the true swap sure for Jonathan coming I mean yes because I'm the whole you didn't have screws for the whole season and he came back and yes he was one of your better playoff teams.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_02]: So then who does this fall on right if we go into that scenario where it happens next year is this a coaching issue Is this a Kobe Altman I'm certain or is it's probably I mean I go one more go one more in the middle go we'll go one more
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: Who's left?
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's not the coach, not the front office.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: Who is it?
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Bert.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: Down, down.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: You're going up the ladder down the stairs.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's on, I'm, I am at this point in the habit.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: Right, but this is falling on the, on the, on the plough.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_01]: Who?
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: We go on the rock.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: You can do it on YouTube.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: I can't do it on the rock.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: This is falling.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm, I'm at this point.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_01]: where I love Donovan Mitchell.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: He is the second greatest Cavalier of all time.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: I am over the moon that he is here.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: I am so thrilled that he signed this extension.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: It is go time, man.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's go time that he knows that.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Evan Mobley.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: Love you, man.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's go time here.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: We need to figure this out and get to where we need to go.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's where I'm at.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where again, it doesn't matter what trades they make or not.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to start looking at the two guys that I know we're going to be here in Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley and go and blank or get off the pot.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: What are we doing here?
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: I've given excuses for the last couple of seasons what you have incrementally improved.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: We're done now and that's why we're done in so important like for the people that don't want Lebron James like I think they're just stuck in their ways for most part, but like the what he would offer to the steam more than just playing basketball on the floor.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's the fix of the mentality like Evan Mobley with Lebron James like what that could the fruits that that could labor in a couple years.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the other issue is do you believe that toughness can be learned.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_02]: I think I think it can be as long as the that person still there, so then it kind of negates my long-term effect thing, but I think it can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can't I can
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what makes LeBron and Jordan so great?
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: They do not shrink in the big moments.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: In addition to them being elite in all the other areas.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: In the 2012 finals, was that when he played the crap against the Mavericks?
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that there was nobody on this earth that wanted to see them when the title looks at Miami here.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like every single person was a Dallas Maverick, and unless you lived in South Beach, that was it there with the old.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: So there's a lot against them.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: But like for the most part, that's what makes them great.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I would love to say that Donovan has crossed over into that threshold.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: But he's not.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: That well, that that's it.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_01]: You want to surprise the issue with the cast as much as I loved on a Mitchell.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_01]: He has not crossed that threshold into the jail and Brunson into the Jason Tatum into the shagal Gousel Exander into the guys that when the light is the brightest they are the ones.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: And I guess maybe the next winning socks, of course, especially here in Cleveland, but does it maybe give you, oh, no, I think it's the best thing that could happen.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_02]: Doesn't maybe give you hope because their work conversations is done, like, don't have a Mitchell used to be viewed better than dealing with.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, fact up until.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a hope that a younger undersized guard can be the best player in the championship team.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we just saw it.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I think the next winning, I obviously, I would love the Cavs to win, but my point is the next winning was the best thing to happen, because a Kepler Bronco from going to New York.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: If the next didn't win that title, we're not even having a LeBron watch, he's in New York.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's a place for the next.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder if that's true.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: I believe that.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: I guess Perich Paul, they kind of say it.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he didn't want to be seen as championships.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of Rich Paul saying things, like now he said, is it the point?
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, with LeBron, that he said teams can't really doubt reach out.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_02]: I'm done.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_02]: You gave me all I could do.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_02]: This is now LeBron mulling over period.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say this as the most respectful manner that I can stop listening to Rich Paul.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: Just stop.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's just playing the game.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: He's just playing the game.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: at this point he knows that LeBron knows I think rich knows and they this is just turned into a giant dog and ponies so do you so do you even think that the team that LeBron has already chosen that even that team doesn't have a single inkling no they're getting I I do believe I think there are probably four people on this earth that know
- 18:07[SPEAKER_02]: LeBron rich and his family.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's wife probably not his wife.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_02]: I would say Savannah.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't think you want my kids I wouldn't want to put the burden on them and they would just slip up something something.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's possible to Yeah, maybe three Savannah LeBron and rich.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe a doll Yeah, I don't know she might want to upset.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know but like
- 18:29[SPEAKER_01]: the game playing too.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: I do think that this is just it's reached that point where it's just petty.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: We've entered petty LeBron watch.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_02]: Do you think it's kind of like because we're in this day and age where everybody's kind of time out, well, who's gonna be the new face of the NBA?
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: He's gonna be the new face of the NBA and obviously LeBron understands that he's on the back 17th.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: He's probably on the 17th.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he's coming up for 17th fairly.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_02]: But he kind of is like, listen, I'm going out one more time reminding everybody who this league revolves around.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's still me.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: The only question is, is 18, a par five, par three, or par four?
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know, see, playing earlier after this?
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: But no, I don't, that's another conversation, Matt.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_02]: People assume it's his last year.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_02]: You could be doing LeBron, watch five point out at this exact time next year.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the thing is, I believe that he would love to not do that.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: And go back to somewhere where he feels like he can make a run at it for two years in a row.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, if he's so choose.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: But...
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: We got to remember, too, the rest of the league look how freaking crazy this off season once.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like,
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: I know you instantly want to look at the Celtics and say that just write them off because they got ready to jail and brown, I don't think that.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: Now the bucks were already a right off team, but like, you know what I'm saying?
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like the shift of the heat coming up, but like the Celtics only came down this much.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: So now I've got, I really feel like I've got like six teams all in a fight right now in the east.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: I do think the next or ahead of everybody.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: But then like the 76ers are right here, like the calves are right here,
- 19:58[SPEAKER_02]: like you just got this and I knew you weren't going to mention them because they're just kind of an afterthought but if quite does get this thing done it goes back to Toronto.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh I thought you were going to collect all you're going to mention to completely different team.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: The Pistons.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: They were the number one seed were they not?
- 20:12[SPEAKER_02]: Like.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_01]: What's going to end, and the thing is, we have a whole regular season, because you see I was, did anybody think the 70s were going to beat the Celtics in a playoff series last year?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_01]: Look how that went.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: Sam Amico.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_02]: One person only.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_02]: Good for Sam.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's not, Sam's got good call.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's first nor is last good call from Sam Amico, so there you go.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: But that's the other thing.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: You could build this super team.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: You could build the calves perfectly.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: Get LeBron, somehow still get coming, go do all this, and
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: The bottom twist is ankle, Jared Allen breaks finger on the rim again, like welcome to the length of the NBA season.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: How crazy it's going to be.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I, you know what, I don't want to say, I don't even care anymore.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm invested and I'm going to be super happy when he comes to the cabs.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still going to hold out hope, but it's starting to enter my mind just a little bit.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I mentioned this list from the NF or from ESPN on the NFL side of things is a list you want to be high up on.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's the top.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: 25 and under team.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: So Aaron Schatz did this and he put, dude, he had eight different criteria to formulate this list.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: We'll run through it.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: We'll tell you where the Browns come out.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's all coming up, but that was Cleveland headlines presented by our great friends at smart choice bath.

- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: We feel really good about the young players on this team.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's been a little while for that with the Browns, but you have solid drafts back to back years.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: You got to put it in a motion.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: You're missing the one young position you'd love to have, but we'll get there one day.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: where they rank amongst the rest of the NFL when it comes to their young players.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: Big play live right here on YouTube.

- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: He's got Zay.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Max.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: Jack.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: We're here Phil stops by.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: Awesome Wednesdays Josh is here.

- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: You can also follow some Twitter wherever we send it out where on YouTube every day live.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: So this came from Aaron Shatt.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: And he is one of the ESPN, and I should make mention of this.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: I feel terrible about ESPN laughs.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: It happens.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, if you know, my career arc has been there.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's never fun.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's never easy.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_01]: Those are extremely talented people.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I would just say, sometimes it's not a reflection of their talent.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_01]: Like everybody loves Charles Davis.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm sure ESPN feels bad about it too.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: It sucks.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: Pat, those big bucks.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_01]: Now you're going to give me a trouble.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: I knew that.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: I knew that.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: I knew that.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: We'll set that aside.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_01]: But obviously, you know, to everybody affected by that, all the best ones.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: Aaron Schatz, I love Aaron's work.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: He's like one of the analytical type guys there.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_01]: Adios PN.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: So he did the top 20, I'm sorry, the top teams with the age of 25 run.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: Are you ready for his criteria of factors with this list?
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's a long list, follow me along.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: Are you ready?
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: Number one, I'll combine these.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: Starts and snaps played by players under the age of 25, okay?
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: Then he puts in a quality of play, which is age adjusted.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_01]: So if basically if you're a 21 year old that's playing a little better than a 24 year old, that's huge, right?
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's an age adjustment.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: Then he also puts in a value and length of player contracts, if some of the guys near 25 have already signed, beyond their rookie deal, fifth year options, things like that.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: He also puts in a relative importance of position.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's more important to have a quarterback.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's more important to have receiver address or things like that.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's just again draft value expected starters for 2026 are they expected to play and then significant injuries or suspensions that could impact them.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: So that's all of his criteria thank god he put this together my head to be spinning.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_01]: So it is the list of the best teams under the age of 25.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_01]: understood any guess you would you love to take any guess at the best team under the age of 20 to have a few teams that came to mind okay number one that jumped out Seattle C Hawks good guess not number one but they're on the other I can hear I'll run through all I'll tell you where they're at Seattle is number eight on this list okay so they're there they're up there
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I've done a team the bears.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_01]: The bears were number three.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_01]: From number five a year ago.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_02]: And again, you're heavily wearing quarterback.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll tell you this, blue chip players, Colson Lovelin, Roman Dunze and kill boys.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: He puts three blue chip guys for each of the teams.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: So the bears are number three.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm thinking of the AFC North.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, listen, the Browns got to be top eight.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_02]: If we're, if we see it, I'll say Browns got to be that right.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_01]: Number one, four, number four for the Browns.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: We jump from 29, a year ago, up to number four.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's fun and you're surprised, but that's the only reason we don't want to jump off a bridge.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_02]: Like, because we, that hope that the Browns are young.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like if they didn't have these guys, like we'd be in a, we'd be,
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: hibernating for no reason for up from 29 that tells you everything you need to know about the flip that Andrew Barry had to say a year ago you were 29th on this list of young players you up to number four blue chip players fan in for no Mason Graham Carson's questions you want to hear another funny thing
- 27:01[SPEAKER_02]: They can't count, Jared verse.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_02]: Did you say Harold Fanon?
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Harold Fanon was number one.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: Fanon, Fanon, Fano, Graham, and Swesinger were their top four.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: But you, and this thing, we're at number four without Jared verse, because he's over 25.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: He's over 25.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, how about, I mean, Tyson Campbell can't be that old.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure I'm sure he's got to be like he's 26 so like we're close 100% 100% just missing so the right up here from Aaron yes the important talent is the quarterback should or Sanders is just 24 Dylan Gabriel actually age off this list because now he's 26
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but he said, let's start on offense fan and outplayed from normally what you see.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: He didn't put Quinn Sean Junkins on here.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_01]: Who's 22 Dylan Samson is 21 21 year old Casey conception 20 two year old Denzel Boston.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: Phenota's in turn 22 until this November defensively we talked about Mason Graham.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: We talked about Carson Swesinger Ronnie Hickman is still just 24 manual with no one.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: Just 22.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_02]: What do you miss him?
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: No, I bet.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: Literally.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_02]: What do you miss him?
- 28:07[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: I.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: There's one thing.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's it quarterback.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, these guys definitely like, like, it's a great projection.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: They have to live up to right.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_02]: But you get your point clearly.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: But I just, I look at that from again, a jump from 29 to four.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, in two years, I get one year, but two drafts even saying.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_02]: But I'll tell you what, Matt, it's great to be on the list.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_02]: But you damn well better be on the list.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_02]: Trademales Gary.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: So here's the thing.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_01]: We are at four.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: The bears, you're gonna get exactly where I'm going.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_01]: The bears are three.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: Can I guess one?
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if you want.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_01]: You need one and two.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kind of surprised I didn't think of the scene about it at the Giants.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 28:46[UNKNOWN]: How?
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: You're only one.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just gonna.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_02]: I think Camps got a boot could be a great run back.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's coming off of an ace.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's very good.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_02]: I like Jackson Dart a lot.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_02]: Friends is Maui Noah.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: They're not.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so they're not on the list.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're on the, it's one through 32, but they're just not a hell of browns.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like here, the giants are nine.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: Nine.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: Are the Broncos up there?
- 29:15[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm I didn't say the Patriots because I really only thought a may.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_02]: I thought of see their number one may Gonzalez Traveon but will Campbell.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: They say will Campbell Christian dollars and will Campbell's in luchus.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: Drake, man.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's labeled as blue chip.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: But that's where this obviously occurs.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_01]: The weight of the quarterback because it's Drake may.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: That that's what I think factors this you you're talking more which you're not wrong for this I think you're talking more quantity where the brows like being being being being being Right the Patriots have the ace in the hole you're Trick-may like if you're praying you could you got the Trump exactly got you not play you occur.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_02]: I do Oh my god, how am I just now finding this out because I just learned a month ago And I learned at 20 minutes and everybody said it was so hard.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: I do God do I love playing you care Man do I love playing you?
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we set that aside.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: Patriots are number one.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: Number two, the Houston Texans will lander since still good.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: CJ Strahd, Kamari Lassiter, they're at two.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_01]: So the Bears are three, Browns are four, five are the Titans.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_01]: Six are the Raiders, seven are the Jets.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_01]: Seahawks are eight, Giants are nine, Saints are 10.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: So what was I, this was the point that I was going to bring up.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_01]: What are the majority of those teams have in common?
- 30:37[SPEAKER_02]: They got a young court right to feel confident in.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're also not very good.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like you know what I mean?
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: Like outside of the Patriots?
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not afraid.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: No, no.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like outside of the top 10, the Patriots and the Texans are good.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: The Bears are good.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: Those are three.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_01]: The Browns, the Titans, the Raiders, the Jets, the Seahawks are great.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_01]: The Giants and the Seahawks, seven out of those top 10 teams on this list.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: are not good.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of those teams met, I feel really good in their futures.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I don't know if I've ever really set an off season where they're like, I can identify, like, I feel great where the Browns are headed.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: I do feel good about the great.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: I feel great.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: I feel great.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: I know we're probably different on this little bit about where the giants are going.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're, yeah, I think they're the easiest team to double over with.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_02]: I will listen.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: I understand where you're coming from and I'll listen to it.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to buy it, but I'll listen to it.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the jets are rebuilding the right way.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: They're just going to need to new head coach.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think Aaron God's going to be the guy.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, obviously it's hinging on the quarterback, but they have the assets.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they got everybody under the sun for that.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: The Raiders, you feel good.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_01]: Bower's Gen-T and Mendoza.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_02]: I feel good about the Raiders.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they're good.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: Love-Click could be a good player.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: The Titans... Ballad, like I wouldn't have been all we'll see.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_02]: Future, not above the ones we just named, I'd agree with that.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: Saints, I like, because you know, I like Tyler Shock.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: I was screaming for the Bronze Draft Tyler Shock.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm happy to have Swesinger and...
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't shout, Juggins.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I was screaming for him.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: Saints were at 10, you want to go to the bottom of the list?
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_01]: The worst teams for under the age of 25, well, this one's obvious at 32 dead last.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: the Rams.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's a trade to make tough.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: They're owned.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: They.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_02]: But to the credit Matt, and this is why people are born.
- 32:16[SPEAKER_02]: I'm crossing for draft and tie Simpson.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you took a shot and you still have your cerebral window and a young quarterback when everybody's in the next year.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_02]: That's, obviously, that move could be really smart.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: They knew what they were doing because they knew where they're getting miles, right?
- 32:28[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_01]: The only blue chip prospect that he put on that list for the Rams, tie Simpson.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's it, because they are just in this win now.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: They go and try to make Duffy just aged out of this.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: And Miles is better than any 25-year-old that you could find.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: So the Rams are our last.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: Now this might shock you of second to last.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have a team that you already mentioned?
- 32:51[SPEAKER_02]: A team that I already mentioned?
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, they're second to last on this list.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm Plopronco's.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: The Broncos.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: They were 32 last year.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: They're only 31.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: Again, I guess I was just weighing quarterback.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the thing is, it's like, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, um, so it's like, uh, again, they just, they just happened to find bone next by the way, it was in college for eight years or whatever.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: So he was 20, I think he was 24, I drafted.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: So he doesn't count for that.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_01]: Packers are, are third to last, the bills are fourth to last for the youngest, uh, team.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think curious today, if you know, are the Steelers,
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: Steelers are 28 out of 30.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you should.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: Just as again, like the, uh, an etchinore dolphins lie and they took Jenkins Dunker that are Jennings Dunker that everybody loves.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see his meal?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but it's a lot of food.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, it would go to, I think, it's said Wendy's or somewhere.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: He'd get two burgers, a large thing of chicken nuggets, two fries and a milkshake.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: And then he'd eat again later that night before the game.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_02]: Can't imagine this.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: I, I, it's not good for anybody.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_01]: So, Steelers were down the bottom of the list.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Bangles probably, and then the Ravens.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_01]: Bangles were 20th.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_01]: How to 32.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: They're only blue, blue chip prospect on the H25 as a marius move.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, and then the Ravens are 17th.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_01]: Because like Kyle Hamilton just aged out, Malachi starts aged out.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: Or I'm sorry, Z-Flower's Malachi starts as the only blue chip guy under the age of 25.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, is that a 26?
- 34:48[SPEAKER_02]: He had to have just turned 26, yeah.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: Let me look, I'm gonna click on this here for ya.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, so he's still, this is under the age of 25.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_02]: Now, what about Nate Wiggins?
- 34:57[SPEAKER_02]: Is he over?
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's got to be, he's got a bit.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, you know, again, it's nice, because the again, the point of looking at this list is, I feel good about where the Browns are at, but that's still that group that they're in is still a bunch of teams that aren't very good.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and you just got to kind of find your way.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, but again, you have a serious, serious problem.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_02]: If you're losing as many games as the Browns have, and you're not in the front top of that list.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_02]: The other, right, cause then you're really missing.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like what am I, what do I do?
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: This is the thing.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: And we're gonna talk to Josh.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna join us here in a minute.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it is, I can't scream this enough.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm actually screaming it from a level of positivity and I feel really good about this.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you have to do is find the quarterback.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: And you're gonna laugh at me.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna yell at me and go, they were trying to do that for 30 years, Matt.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: truthfully, you just need to find the quarterback.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: And his name is C.J.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: Carr.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: There was Jordan Rodgers.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: Aaron's brother.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, Aaron back with his family.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_01]: Good to see it.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like here.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: He was making the case why arch is going to be the number on a roll pick.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm sure he will pay.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: And out, you know, I don't know what the Brown's going to do.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how that's all going to work.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: But all that aside,
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: one way or another, one way or another.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: Just find, please.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: Texans want to be idiots and get rid of CJA car or CJA.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: CJA strap.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, thank you.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_02]: Really?
- 36:28[SPEAKER_02]: No, I take him.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_02]: No, thank you.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_02]: No, thank you.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: Got to find one.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: You are literally just that away.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: We're just a few minutes away from Josh Cribbs joining us.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: He looks like I want to get Josh's thoughts on this list because I think it's interesting about the youth movement with the Browns and can it really be I want to I can't wait to get Josh and your talk is can it truly be for an off season.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: It is just the quarterback.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_01]: We don't give a damn about anything else.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_01]: Ken and NFL team really operate that way.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: We'll discuss out Josh groups coming up in a little bit.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_01]: You discuss a brand new career that friends at physicians, ambulance folks.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: They are hiring right now.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's because they're busy.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's because they have so much around our great state.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just Northeast Ohio anymore.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: They're down in Columbus.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: They're in Worcester, they're in Ashland.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: They're in Warren.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: There's a brand new place that they could be coming very soon, too.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll tell you about that when the time is appropriate.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: They're hiring EMTs, paramedics.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: They've got your back from an employee led really a family owned and operated, but they don't need so much in their employees.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you have a job that your manager, you just know they're out to get you.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: you know, they're just out to just just needily on every little thing and I get pick on everything.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: That is not physician's ambulance.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: You have managers that have your back that are out looking for you.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: And the thing about physicians, Amelts, one of the many things in my opinion, that's at them apart.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_01]: They want you to be able to advance.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: They want you to be able to get advanced care capabilities.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: They want to be able to continue investing, continue with education.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: They want you to be the best version of you.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: Even if you would sit there and say, well, that's a risk I could leave.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: they want you to be the best you.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: And if that happens, there's always an open door to come on back.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: They want you to be the best version of you when you're working with physician's ambulance.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: They're amazing to work for.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_01]: I got a tie.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: Wish in a way, but you know, we all felt what it felt like this morning.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, it's coming.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's coming.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, like football.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_02]: God, I love it.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: They're busy all the time do physicians in the fall high school soccer football events all around You know what starts picking up over on the lake front there come fall time really is one of their busy times of the year check them out because then again To they have that mix where they do a lot of football then the calves start you still have some guardians going on.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: They got events going on every They're really they're going to start answering their busy time and if you're knee empty or paramedic or just starting your journey to becoming one is ever to really reach out.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: Follow them on LinkedIn too.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: check them on a LinkedIn physician's ambulance on their website physician's ambulance.com All right, Josh Krebs going to join us next.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_01]: Don't forget we got our fandle parley for the guards tonight as well.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's all coming your way big play live.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_01]: All right, big play live right here on the YouTube side of things.
- 39:02[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Krebs in the house, Matt Fontaine, Ryan Tyler, long side as always.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: Catch us 12, 1130, maybe a little little later, a little earlier and never know.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_01]: Here on the YouTube side of things, Josh to run out of the same conversation.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_01]: We found this list on ESPN.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: and they probably metrics in there for the top teams under the age of 25.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: So they only factored players that were under the age of 25.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: And it was, you know, basically how much they had played, how much they're projected to play, how good they are.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: And then they waited it towards quarterbacks, receivers, things like that.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: So the Browns case in a fellow college.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: NFL.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, that's it.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: We were talking about because like Ryan was like, oh, the the the Broncos and I was like, we have Bonyx came into the league at 25.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_01]: He was in college for eight years.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: That was in my second contract right at 25.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, go ahead.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: No, actually, I don't mean to do you real everything.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_01]: Tell me how much when people talk about like injury berry looking at guys age, how much does that matter when they're drafted in a guy?
- 40:01[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it just comes down to the bulk of their work.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: And what position they want them to play?
- 40:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good point.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: So quarterback will be evaluated a lot more, right?
- 40:12[SPEAKER_00]: They'll look at his pedigree, they'll look at, you know, probably his grades that he had in college.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: And just him as a person, the interview matters more.
- 40:20[SPEAKER_00]: Then just a skill position where, you know, you want this guy to come in here and just do what he's able to do to.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_00]: you know, see ball get ball on defense side or offense when pedigree matters.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_00]: So it matters with a position and you know, quarterback has always looked at, you know, more.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I want to probably, you don't want a 23-year-old running back coming into the NFL.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_01]: You want a little younger there.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_01]: So the Browns came in on this list Josh at four.
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: We were only behind the bears, the Texans, and then the Patriots were number one because
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: Drake may so young and he's really good.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I just I was remarked that this list they did they do whatever year the Browns jumped from 29 to 4 in just one year for the youth movement on this team.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: They mentioned Harold fan and Spencer Finnell Mason Graham Carson Swesinger.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: You know the funny thing is they can't put Jared verse on this list anymore because you
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: turn 25 last year.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be 26 in the season coming up.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_01]: So it's under 25.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_01]: So he is 25, but he's not on this list.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: So like he would have probably bumped it up even more.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: Is it dangerous Josh for me just to sit here and say, look at this.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: Look at this movement and and look at the positions.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_01]: I've got linebacker.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't mention Quinn Sean.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: They've got running back.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_01]: They got offensive line.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: Concepts on Boston receiver.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_01]: I've got corners that are younger.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_01]: Tyson Campbell
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: like Josh, I just see here and I go, it's just the quarterback like do everything that you can this next off season spend every moment that you can every asset that you can to just find the quarter is that dangerous to enter an off season and go literally the only goal is to find a quarterback.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's dangerous, you know, um, you know, that, that's a great simplification of it.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: Although you're still trying to get better each and every year, you know, even at multiple positions where you're already locked, you need backups, depth is so important in this league.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_00]: But when you have a young team like that,
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: It's a testament to how well they're playing as a unit.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_00]: You could be young and just horrible, but this rookie class last year was not horrible.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_00]: They were anything but it led by Carson Swesinger.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: And so when you have a group of guys like this, that's together, that's playing well.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_00]: You want to keep that nucleus together as long as possible.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_00]: And man,
- 42:37[SPEAKER_00]: the second year.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_00]: They should show a lot of growth from year to year even though they were good last season.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm excited about that.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: However, when we're talking about, you know, the main part being the quarterback position.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_00]: when you have a good nucleus like that, your quarterback does not have to be a savior.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_00]: So you're not looking for that Peyton Manning S player, you know how everybody was looking at Manning and hopefully he'll grasp
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: you know he'll be a true manning and and you know you want him to be that franchise guy well we don't need that in Cleveland we just need some I did it to confit in the offense who can run a sound offense throw it to the open receivers throw it on time you know and then I fell quarterback and
- 43:26[SPEAKER_00]: you know, I know that he is one of these guys because the pressure to succeed is so strong.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_00]: We may have it in the building.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_00]: We may have that in the, if Quinsha on it's who he needs to be this year and progresses, progresses, you know, from here to here, this jump, you know, Harrow fan and continue to be the dog, the office of line that's been brought together and accumulated, not just free agency, but in the draft.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_00]: This is shaping up to be a team that just needs a quarterback to go out there and just play some football, man.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: You think got to be a savior, just be a piece in the puzzle, right?
- 44:00[SPEAKER_00]: Be a puzzle piece that adds to this offense that can just create plays and do what you're capable of doing that.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: We saw you doing college.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_01]: And I think about these young guys too, Josh, that they all played a lot.
- 44:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I can't only imagine I would love to get your thoughts on this or a lot of players or a lot of people, maybe in the outside would say, well, you still need veterans to show these guys how to do some stuff, which I get and I'm out of bed.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love to pick your bread on this too, and the that's that helped you when you came in like Hey man, this is how we practice this is how I recover this how I watch film like all that's important But I think about if you find the quarterback to like look it even the young guys like even Quinn shot And be like dude, I've been playing for two years like I am a veteran now
- 44:40[SPEAKER_01]: I know what I'm doing now when like Mason Graham to help out some of these other guys.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you need veterans there.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_01]: You're always going to need guys that it's under before.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: But I just think about it's not just how many rookies we have.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's that they all played a lot and they're going to be so experienced that even if you found that quarterback tear exact point, hopefully you can look around and be like, you know, a little pressure off my shoulder because there's Denzel Boston.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wait, he's his second year guy.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but he played all last year and he's got all these grabs.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: I will say this, you know, that when it comes to, you know, having the veteran players, that comes from the Bella check tree, you know, it's been a model that's been proven.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know, have a third of your team, you know, older guys that may be on those one contract, a third of the team, one a second contract and a third of the team, you know, young guys up and coming and they're learning from the veterans.
- 45:34[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, experience is not just playing, it's being vocal leaders.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why you bring in, you know, guys that have been there and done it, that may not, you know, be more vocal leaders, like your offensive lineman, they tend not to be, you know, like Joe Thomas wasn't a raw rocker.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, he wasn't like, come on, guys, you get over here and you come pretty good.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't, he led by what he did by his actions on the field.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: So they, it's a team that needs to be comprised of not just experience, so you've got a quenchin who has, you know, a second year who played well, he might not be a vocal guy yet.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_00]: He might not feel comfortable calling up the team.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it might be a hero fan and, you know, who might has the personality to bring guys in.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have to have one of those guys, you bring up Joe Thomas, he was here for so long, you obviously played it in for a long time, but you're right, he didn't seem to be the most vocal guy miles, never seemed to be the most vocal guy.
- 46:30[SPEAKER_01]: And like so I asked Josh, do you feel like that is a requirement, even if it's a guy like, and I bring him up because I loved when he was here with Anthony Walker, linebacker.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like he seemed like the perfect veteran guy for this team.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: He, he stood in front of the media when it was tough.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: When there were tough things to talk about, the team won playing well, he was always there and I respect him very much for that.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: Does the team have to have one of those guys that's willing to stand up and cost people out if he needs to more often than that okay football is the biggest team sport it would alleviate a lot on the coach if they had that unless you have a bell to check type coach.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: It puts more strain on the coach but I've seen coaches rule with the iron fist.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, Eric Manjini, people that coached that confirm that Bella Tech tree, he didn't necessarily need it.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: Need, you know, you're, you're, you're talkative players.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because if you didn't do what he said, you're taking off your running.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: Next guy in.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, you're where you're supposed to be, you're, you're, you're, you're back as straight when he's in the meeting talking.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to question you.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to challenge your football IQ on a regular basis.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_00]: So know your stuff.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_00]: It puts a little strain on coaches, you know, when there isn't the player in the locker room commanding guys and, you know, showing that camaraderie through leadership, it's, it's needed more often than not, but if you have those coaches that has such a lock on his team and his program, it can be done.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't wait to get to this conversation with you because I just think that I find this stuff super interesting I know a lot of people out there do tomorrow is rookie report date.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: So number one Take me back to 2005.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously you you got signed by the Browns like was it the day after the DRAW was right after the draft.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: Right after the draft.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_01]: So you went through like many camp at OTAs But like walk me through what was that like getting ready for the first training camp in the NFL?
- 48:21[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it was a very nerve-wracking.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_00]: The most nervous I've ever been, just because the whole team is there, and not just that, all the fans.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, they came out, and it's just, it's a show, it's like game day.
- 48:37[SPEAKER_00]: So for me and Maya Drinnerland, as a rookie, it felt like a game day.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_00]: It was equivalent to, once I got custom to playing, it was like a game day for me.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_00]: The fans were, you know, they knew of me, I can't state.
- 48:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was in my head a little bit.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_00]: I'm competing against the guys that are there as much as I am for across the league, you know, just to state get a roster spot.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I was nervous.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I remembered, you know, warming up to catch a punt.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_00]: and all the team in the fans were so close to the worst.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, everybody just had to play or drop the ball to fans.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_00]: But if like there might have been me.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that creeps got some trash.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_00]: Get him out of here.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_00]: So before that moment when I got up there to catch a part, I had just seen the movie 300 at the moment.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_01]: I love that movie.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, Lea Knightas and the boys.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_00]: And I was so nervous.
- 49:36[SPEAKER_00]: I had to talk myself into having confidence.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_00]: So when I was about to catch that ball and they snapped it, in my head, I said, this is Sparta.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I gathered the confidence needed in front of the fan base, and I caught a punt from an NFL Puma Turner.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_00]: In that moment, it felt like the ball just went up into space.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_00]: She kicked that ball.
- 50:00[SPEAKER_00]: So why?
- 50:01[SPEAKER_00]: He put it in.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I caught it and went through the motion and I was like, oh my God, what a relief.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: and then I did it again.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_00]: This is part of until I got the swag and the comfort ability to be able to do it.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_00]: It took a few days, but in front of our fans, it brings so much pressure, you know, just not just to make a team, but to do good and to not mess up, not to drop any balls, because they booed every time, drop the pass, anything.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: It was like, get outta here, get outta here.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, just going through that moment, you know, was, you know, dang, it's so funny.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_00]: You brought that back to me because I was like feeling, you know, getting those feelings and those goosebumps of how I felt like this is it.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_00]: This is the moment.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I imagine the, I belong, I want to belong.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I want to feel like I can do this and be here because I, you know, obviously seeing the, the board of mine Hall of Fame should be Hall of Fame career that you had.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: You did belong.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I can imagine that it took a minute to just be like, you know, I can do this.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: You know, this is NFL.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_00]: That's the best.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I was in that number.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I was aware fully that, hey, I can get cut at any moment because guys didn't make it to training camp.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: Guys got cut in OTAs.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_00]: Guys got cut in working money camp.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_00]: They brought in a whole bunch of rookies to fill out the camp, you know, and they call them camp bodies.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I was fully aware that, hey, any day, any time a player can get cut in the NFL.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_00]: So I was, the pressure was only.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to help out the rookie's here, give him some advice.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_01]: What was one thing like recovery, grab a nap, like I've heard players talk about the training camp hacks because it's so different.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure it's there because like, you guys were still running two days back then, right?
- 51:44[SPEAKER_01]: Full pads look a little different now with how they do it, but what was something they'd
- 51:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so one one advice a few things I would tell the rookies to take good notes, you know, take good notes in training camp because the coaches aren't coaching you specifically their coaching the starters they they know is are going to start you get in a training camp they know they have an idea of who to start as are.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_00]: coach never talked to me you know and rock why was he because Terry Ribisky he was not talking to me you so I'm going to break in that words he was talking to the dense north cut on Jay Davies and and those guys so I wasn't being talked to take good notes once you're in you're expected to show up take full advantage of your opportunities
- 52:24[SPEAKER_00]: play as many units as you can.
- 52:26[SPEAKER_00]: If you're there to be a rivalry, where you should supposed to be or try and attempt to be on every special team's unit, the more you can do in this league, the better.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then forced the issue of reps. Just coach, can I get in?
- 52:38[SPEAKER_00]: All right, coach, try to do everything you can to stay on a coach's eye and understand.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: Be prepared for the opportunity when it happens.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have it.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_00]: then have an opportunity and be prepared.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_00]: And lastly, understand, you belong here.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: If you're in an NFL jersey, if you're in an NFL uniform and you're practicing with the Cleveland Browns or any other professional team, you belong so act like it.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_01]: What's the worst part of camp that we don't that like something that me the regular fans with no idea.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_01]: I know it's hot out there.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_01]: I know it's brutal some days I see guys, you know, just cramp it up and just all that, but is there something beyond that like that we just can't even fat them with it's just makes it tough for camp for me is not truly understand and NFL and how it works that every player.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_00]: is trying to get on the NFL roster, even if you're with the Browns right now, you're competing for NFL roster spot on other teams as well.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: Rookie's that's coming in, they're trying to take your spot.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_00]: So to the rookies, understand that.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_00]: This, uh, you're fellow, why I receive or may not help you out.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_01]: I was, you say, he wants to help, like, I want to help this guy, but I'm like, give him a tip that costs me my job over here, right?
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, um, Cuddy, yeah, he was like this.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a name-o.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_00]: Then it's Northcut he was like that.
- 54:02[SPEAKER_00]: I was there for his spot.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_00]: I was there for the guy spot.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_00]: I was out there on my gosh the defense change It's cover one now.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_00]: I lined up correctly.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, yeah, I lined up correctly.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_00]: I mean my spot and then the defense change I'm like I was Cutty what I got new cut Dennis what I got quarterback trend that was calling play.
- 54:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like what I got
- 54:24[SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to tell you.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: Not gonna say word.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to tell you.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I just ran straight as long as I, it's fast as I could straight.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_00]: And then I looked at the defense coordinator, defensive offensive coordinator, the Moist Cardinals slam his head down.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_00]: and look at me, oh my, what are you, what are you doing?
- 54:41[SPEAKER_00]: Right, but I ran fast as I could.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard as I could, but I ran them wrong route.
- 54:45[SPEAKER_01]: Fair enough.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_00]: Know what you're posted do.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_00]: Know what you, where you're posted, align, spin extra time in your playbook.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_00]: Because guys aren't out there.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_00]: Look, you're, you're trying to take their spot.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_00]: Don't expect your teammates to help you.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_02]: Josh, I got a question for you obviously you went to Kent State.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_02]: So it's not like you were a complete stranger to Northeast Ohio when you first signed your first contract with the Browns, but like at that moment, did you know how starved and hungry that this fan base was and and where you aware that the franchise was really down in the dumps and I mean, how shocked are you that we're still here 15 years later.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_00]: I did not have that on my mind.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_00]: And all about how this team was playing years prior.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think one time that was on my, my, you know, at the top of my mental that we weren't winning games, we were bad, the team left.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_00]: I saw the footage and everything of, you know, of the tradition and understood, you had a team left in 99 and came.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know,
- 55:42[SPEAKER_00]: However, in rookie many can't, you know, I'm trying to make a team training camp when reporting I'm trying to stay on the roster I'm trying to have my dreams come true that was so far out of my I'm just trying to get here and belong because if you're in the NFL you're among the best of the best.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_00]: the best of the best.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, understanding the fan base, that came further along.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_00]: Once I solidify myself, once I understood, I did belong and I showed everyone I belong, then I started adapting the fans and what they, what they craved and what they desired was to win here in Cleveland.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_02]: Is it not crazy to you?
- 56:21[SPEAKER_02]: Do you ever think about this like you went from that like you just said literally scratching Clawing everything you can to get on an NFL roster to now being such a centerpiece of this franchise's Lauren history like is that hit you it does all the time But it's a testament that when I stepped on the field I literally put it all out there
- 56:41[SPEAKER_00]: like I make jokes now that, yeah, some of my cartilage and my knees are still out there on ground.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's the thing.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_00]: That's the reason why I really want them to keep the stadium because I bled and everything.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_00]: You read that with the, yeah.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_00]: I shut, you know, injections.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_00]: I, you know, my, my blood.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's there.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's over there.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's all out there on the field.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_00]: And even though I make jokes about it, I'm serious.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_00]: My best ball was played here in Cleveland, you know, um, you know, when I left here, I was limping around.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_00]: I was trying to give the NFL just a, you know, a glimpse of what cribs was in a Cleveland Brown uniform.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_00]: And um, it's a real to me now.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_00]: I could just, you know, I smelled it.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: I picked up the grass and I smelled it.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_00]: It takes me to memories.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I love not your grass.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_00]: It takes me to memories right here, Cleveland Brown Stadium.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, we've had that debate about the stadium, you know, where I stand.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: I wish it was staying, you know, we got a couple more years with it.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_01]: It'll be a lot of fun.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_01]: Josh really appreciate it.
- 57:33[SPEAKER_01]: As always, catch them out of Wednesday.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: And I can't wait to keep doing this more as we get into training camp because like dude, rookies are in their tomorrow.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be here before you know, it's go time.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be a lot of fun.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_01]: Can't wait again.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's day with Josh will be here.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_01]: It is training camp.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it even felt a little football this morning, didn't the Josh.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_01]: It felt a little Hey, by the way, Kent State.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: I saw a eighth in the coaches pull for the Mac.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_01]: You guys are going to shock some people And I'm Paul.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 57:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, let's go.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we definitely going to shock some people, but we're building a Massive man.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_00]: So we quiet about it.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_00]: We don't let our works speak for itself.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_02]: Get on Fandle.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_02]: They're right here.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get there.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_01]: Josh great stuff.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate your brother We'll talk to you next week is your training camp roll.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of Fandle, we got a guardians parlay.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to that wrap things up.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_01]: Stay with us big play Cleveland show
- 58:17[SPEAKER_01]: All right, welcome back, big play Cleveland show.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_01]: Matt Fontana writes, a great stuff with Josh.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_01]: And like, I hope everybody else enjoys that stuff.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_01]: Cause I guess I just like memories of Josh, training kit.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, you mentioned it with Josh.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, even me, I guess like sobering is the world.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's freaking Josh cribs, man.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like Brown's legend, we all rude for him.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_01]: The kickoff returns like all of it.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's so gracious this time I love hanging out with him on Wednesday.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll get plenty more.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_01]: of, you know, the training camps.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_01]: So if you want to talk some guardians here, we got our guardians partly coming up in a second.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like, I don't mean to make this sound as negative it's going to come off, but for a long time Ryan training camp is the happiest time that we have because it's the most optimistic time.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like I am conditioned over my life as a fan.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_01]: that I just love training camp.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_01]: It is unbridled joy for me.
- 59:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I get that some years, it was Lechardle's getting hurt right away.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_01]: And then the staff infections.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_01]: And then Johnny Manzel and like quarterback battles, that all kind of happens.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_01]: Bro, I love nighttime preseason games at that stadium.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: watching guys fight to make a roster and and guys that you hope that make it like walking me room for Luke Floria coming up this train camp like I just do something about training camp I freaking love it I love it so much like I have tickets to take my boy to his first training camp ever in a couple of weeks like it's awesome and so it Brookies are in tomorrow
- 59:49[SPEAKER_01]: We're here.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_01]: We made it.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's about time though, Matt, because I'm getting real sick and tired of not having football on my television.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_02]: I saw funny thing.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_02]: You know the movie interstellar, obviously.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, no, no.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_02]: I was like some guy just turned it off a boring Thursday night football between the Titans and Cardinals.
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_02]: And now I would crave anything to watch the, well, the Browns.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_02]: So it was, but to watch the Browns play the Jets.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter, like they could be just the garbage bottom feeder team you're going to watch because it was funny, Evan Cohen, I Hoaston sports him like an ESPN in the mornings and he it was an idea off of the world cup, you know, they play the third place match or whatever.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_01]: Would you watch a third place match between the two losers of the AFC and NFC championship game and you put that out as a question like in between the week off of the Super Bowl, would you watch that and I tweeted back, I'm like a third
- 1:00:39[SPEAKER_02]: At that point in the year like I'm gonna watch any game I can which honestly, you know, I've never really thought about But obviously the reason you're saying that because of the world cup will be the point Right, what do you get on with you incentivize on the play but like it is interesting like I could that would never happen a football So why do they do in soccer?
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know because it's like they don't get a medal.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like the Olympics.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_02]: Well like didn't mimbapé Or just you got the go and he got the go and just because he's how they were to incentivize right
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: And then like it's also you only play once every four years.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure there's money.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they're seeding for the next one.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm assuming you get an automatic bid to the next one.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_01]: I have no idea.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_02]: Like football.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this is a topic.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_01]: write this down for next week.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_01]: In my advanced age, it's it's creeping in to me.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_01]: Keeping up on dash almost.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_01]: Don't stop calm down over there relax.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_01]: I almost thought about the under 25.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm not I'm too that was graduated.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_01]: My 20 year anniversary for ice.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'm 25 years old man.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_02]: I think I'm going through life crisis.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_02]: I got bad news for you, they don't stop.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I didn't think that.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_01]: I got bad news for you.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_01]: Right this down for next week, please.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_01]: I got to get Josh's thoughts on the turf first as the grass.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I thought you were the grass.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the grass.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_01]: We got to talk to him about it because I actually think, because the world cut me, anything else too.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_01]: I actually think this is a really underrated discussion point for this next collective bargaining agreement in the NFL.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_01]: where the last one to get the 17 games, the owners gave up the wheat.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_01]: They stopped testing from marijuana.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_01]: That was the bargain ship that they have.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_01]: I bet my bottom dollar, man, that they're going to try to use this grass versus turf debate to get that 18th game to go in a national with everybody.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_01]: Good, I'll just got a brand new deal.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_01]: Did you see their revenue by the way?
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_01]: Nearly six billion dollars worth of revenue last year for the NFL.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_01]: That is more than the NHL NBA and Major League Baseball combined.
- 1:02:46[SPEAKER_02]: Doesn't this for us?
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_01]: Keep that job, Roger Gendo.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I don't know how good of a job he is or is it to do.
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously it's pretty good.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's gonna be their big bargaining chip.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_01]: But what do you do with Cleveland Brown stadium?
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see the new renderings today of the chief stadium?
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_01]: They're like indoors, but it's like the glass roof that kind of eats like your inside, but you feel like your outside looks like, you know, you can't go back.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_01]: You're not changing the browns one now.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_01]: Or, you know, brown is broke.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_01]: We ain't going back now.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_01]: But like what happens if they do come out with this?
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_01]: And they say, you know what?
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_01]: they want the 18th game from the owners because it's more money and then that way they can afford to make every single team go international once a year and I don't what do they play not maybe 10 you know like six in London they do like one in Brazil one in Mexico City Australia imagine having 16
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_01]: If you had the 18th game, we're going to have 32 NFL teams every single one of them is going to go in a national.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's a minimum 16 games.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_01]: Let alone the Jags who usually play two, right?
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not opposed to it.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, I think that's where we're going.
- 1:03:59[SPEAKER_02]: 100% I think that's where we're going.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_02]: You're telling me I get an hour more away.
- 1:04:03[SPEAKER_02]: Wake up and I get a game on it.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 30.
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_01]: What are you going to sell to the players?
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_01]: What are you going to give to the players?
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_02]: One thing you can give to him is money or grass.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_01]: if they really want to be that's what I'm saying that's going to be their negotiation tactic when they sit down to redo this collective argument more expensive or something and harder to maintain.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_01]: Well, no, it's my point.
- 1:04:22[SPEAKER_01]: You can't put it.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_01]: You can't put it in a dome.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I know it's in Las Vegas and I know it's in Arizona because they were passing a dome.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_01]: No, how could it grow?
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_02]: They don't have some artificial sunlight.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's 2026.
- 1:04:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm bet we'll get there, but I'm seeing the way we're not there.
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_01]: Arizona, Arizona and Vegas, they roll it in.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_01]: That stadium is purposely built that they roll the stadium in and then they roll or they roll the grass in, then they roll it outside and let it grow.
- 1:04:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the outdoor stadiums, they can put turf in it you'll let, they'll put turf in in Buffalo.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's outdoors.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_01]: What are they going to do with Minnesota?
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_01]: That is a completely indoor facility.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_01]: Think about the Brown Stadium.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's underground.
- 1:05:04[SPEAKER_01]: Three quarters of that stadium is going to be below grade.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_01]: How you going to grow grass, you're right.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not a, I'm sitting at her college.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_01]: Well, whatever, I'm not, I can barely keep my grass alive in my york.
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_02]: First, maybe a horticulturist.
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's horticulturist.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_01]: But what if they came to that?
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_01]: And they said, yeah, you got to, could you imagine just rolling in?
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_01]: The turf like they did for the world cup and you got to do that every Sunday or you got to do that I'm sure where there's a will there's a way, but I just I bet and the collecting bar in agreement in up for a little while I don't think What's it up NFL CBA expiration date.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you very much.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh It doesn't it's not up for another five years.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so so
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_01]: So, but here's okay, this report would just came out, I would say just came out, but it came that they're going to push for 18 games before the expiration of the CBA, so you better come even heavier at that, like you better come with two buys, you'd have to go with two buys, two preseason games.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_01]: because the network, I somebody said that the network's by 20.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I used to be 16 for now, it's 17 and three.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_02]: That could be ultimately healthier for the game, just by adding one game beginning an additional buy.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, I think that can make play it.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_02]: Like, that could have a big effect.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_02]: Just like it's just one more game.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_02]: I agree.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to say just one more game because you can really get a season I think well, that's exactly what they're all awful week extra.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_01]: I actually like here be my thing I'm J.C.
- 1:06:38[SPEAKER_01]: Trader who's sitting there for the you're gonna add that game.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_01]: What's a way to make it the healthiest that you can grass Look at all the stats
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_01]: Look at everything that you talk to and there are players and cash will do next to a good judge.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_01]: There's these players that come on, they go, dude, when I play on turf, I'm wrecked the next day.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_01]: Destroyed the next day.
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_01]: Grass it ain't so bad.
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you still play in an NFL game, you know what I'm saying, but it's completely different.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_01]: So you're going to add that.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to need to take some safety protocols into place.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_01]: could be some changes.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:07:11[SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of changes, MLB trade deadline.
- 1:07:12[SPEAKER_01]: We're Starbucks.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_01]: We're here.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_01]: We're here for it.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll get to our guards parlay for tonight.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's on August 3rd.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's not the Guardian 6 p.m. 6 p.m. Little later than usual.
- 1:07:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's a week from next Tuesday.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_01]: Two weeks from, I'm sorry, Monday, Monday, not Tuesday.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_01]: It was, it's two weeks from this past Monday.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's August 3rd.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_01]: So a week from next Monday, it's 6 p.m.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_01]: Which is the trade done by.
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_01]: But I think they like that.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_01]: So you know they're going to have a special on ESPN.
- 1:07:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know they're going to have special on MLB network, lead up to the hour.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_01]: And then you got the games that evening, which is perfect.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_01]: So Buster only in Jeff Passen, which for my money are undefeated when it comes to baseball.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_01]: They went through a mail bag of what they're hearing on the latest Intel as we're about a week and a half out from the MLB trade deadline.
- 1:07:57[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to see how much guardians were in here.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, got news slash for you, LeBron, whopping zero.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_02]: Matt.
- 1:08:04[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that article that you're referencing?
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_02]: No, not LeBron.
- 1:08:07[SPEAKER_02]: That article that you're referencing, 27 of 30 MLB teams are mentioned at least once.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_02]: The Cleveland Guardians are not one of them.
- 1:08:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, most interesting theme for this deadline, on these is how much talent will be available, pass in how the home, the run up to the trade deadline feels like a penit race, teams are treating these games between now and the end of the month with much more of a must-win tack than typical for this point of the year, there's more teams that are involved.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_01]: Strongest player position available, buster only in Jeff Passen, both stay, starting pitching.
- 1:08:44[SPEAKER_01]: So we're herds the guards, right handed bat.
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_01]: uh... is the weakest from buster only uh... pass and says exactly the same thing bings up iron boxed in shaylang lears hunter goodman wilson contraris uh... parades is a parades germi pania some of the other ones uh... there we are two weeks before the deadline teams that we know will be trading veterans buster only says the giants met rockies red angels and royals uh... pass and says everybody just agree so again giants met
- 1:09:19[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 1:09:20[SPEAKER_01]: I do it.
- 1:09:21[SPEAKER_01]: I call a bunch.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'd call that Francisco Lindor today.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'd make that move.
- 1:09:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'd figure it out after you put him back at short.
- 1:09:29[SPEAKER_01]: You move Rokio to second.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_01]: You, you, you, you were on this with me about, you know, where you move Bazaar.
- 1:09:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but now I've kind of shithead.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_01]: I do that for Lindor.
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_01]: And Bazaar is raking by the way.
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_01]: Well, now he is back.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, little slow.
- 1:09:41[SPEAKER_01]: That little cricket swing that he's got, man.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_01]: I love that.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to get rid of
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_01]: Here, we'll give Ari a back to the mats.
- 1:09:50[SPEAKER_01]: So when we got him, oh no, he was the, he was the, um, Padres, that's what, that's where he's trade was.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I know he's numbers are not good.
- 1:10:02[SPEAKER_01]: I know Lendor's been hurt.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_01]: I do it.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_01]: I do it.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_01]: If you really think a salary floor is coming, you're gonna have to spend
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's not a bad thought.
- 1:10:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's so worthy spend.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_01]: How old's Francisco Lendoris?
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's not 29 years old?
- 1:10:20[SPEAKER_01]: Couldn't tell you.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_01]: He is just 32.
- 1:10:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's a small one.
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_02]: All right, all right, all right, all right, all right, okay.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_01]: I bring it up because the Met said they have an untouchable list and he's not on.
- 1:10:35[SPEAKER_01]: Um, all right, I digress.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_01]: So those are teams that you know are going to be trading.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_01]: Here's another one.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_01]: You thought the Guardians would be on this list two weeks before the deadline teams that we know will be adding unlike the white socks are on there.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_01]: Dodgers, white socks, cubs, brewers, braves, fillies, Yankees, race.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_01]: What's the common theme of all those cities?
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_01]: Big market.
- 1:11:02[SPEAKER_01]: L.A. New York, Philly, Atlanta, Milwaukee, Tampa, Throwman, I get it.
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_01]: But, like you said, it's not, the Guardians aren't in this once.
- 1:11:17[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't expect them to be sellers, but not even be to, uh,
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_02]: That's going to be a wacky trade done line like you're going to like we're going to see deals like those like last 72 hours because so many teams are in the playoff race that's the that's the problem is that there are going to be teams that are holding on to players because they think they can make a run.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_01]: And at the end of the day, I still feel good about this guardians.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't do anything, and it's the team that I have right now, I feel like they can win the central.
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_01]: I've watched how they've played since the All Starbore.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you can question their plane.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_01]: But still, the twins were starting to, you know, okay, nope, nope, nope, done and done.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_01]: We're just gonna smoke your asses and send you back to where you belong.
- 1:12:01[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the problem is, I know the white socks lost the other end, but are we still not just tied it up?
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like you'd like to be up a gamer.
- 1:12:08[SPEAKER_01]: You got plenty of baseball to go.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_01]: If this team doesn't do anything, and I joked about Chris Santon, and he's saying this, you get Jose Ramirez back.
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_01]: There's your move.
- 1:12:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's close.
- 1:12:19[SPEAKER_01]: He might even be today.
- 1:12:20[SPEAKER_01]: Our parlay might go to hell because I got, got real are you sitting today.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_01]: I got I have a there's a calm down I got a method of my madness will get to that like he comes back on hills coming close you know down there in the minors, but the other thing That has become apparent that we must discuss They cannot play cowlands are no anymore, or you're makes people mad they brother It's it's become apparent
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_01]: And that's a guy who's what arguably our best hitter in May, it's July.
- 1:12:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost August.
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're done.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_02]: We're really going to trade Ralph.
- 1:13:09[SPEAKER_01]: You can't because you're talking in that same breath about unless you're lying on playoff Hoskins can bizarre playoff.
- 1:13:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little short to play first.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_01]: A little short.
- 1:13:17[SPEAKER_01]: A little hard.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's good.
- 1:13:18[SPEAKER_01]: You need them.
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_01]: He's like trout, man.
- 1:13:25[SPEAKER_01]: I have so many things I want to say about that, and I just, I don't, I understood what was coming from.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not even that, it's just, there's quite a few things, not even just about a minute, but we'll send that aside.
- 1:13:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, man's art, it's just, the line-up's just better with him not in it right now.
- 1:13:50[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not even like it's Kwan who plays gold glove level defense that saves you one who sends you said you're out on hate.
- 1:13:57[SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead.
- 1:13:58[SPEAKER_01]: I do I'll take it.
- 1:14:00[SPEAKER_01]: I what did I say?
- 1:14:01[SPEAKER_01]: I told you I said said it's Steven Kwan and tell him to stick it to me.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_01]: I would love that.
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_01]: If you told me that that's all that it was out of ambition about him in April.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_01]: If you told me that that would have been the key to all of this.
- 1:14:16[SPEAKER_01]: I've done this months ago.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_01]: Good, thank God, bring it back, please.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_01]: But now it's man's art.
- 1:14:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like the sickness that was on Stephen Kwan is now found its way to Kyle Man's art.
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_01]: Can I find this tweet?
- 1:14:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, please, too.
- 1:14:35[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want me to.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want me to.
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_01]: by the way, one of the bedding places that I look home run projection for today.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_01]: Call me.
- 1:14:48[SPEAKER_01]: Call me.
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_01]: There's another one.
- 1:14:54[SPEAKER_01]: Home run lock for today's me.
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, I want to find it.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_02]: It's, um, I'm going to bet a man's a home run tonight.
- 1:14:59[SPEAKER_01]: I will, I will join you with that on Fiend.
- 1:15:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to put it in our parlay.
- 1:15:06[SPEAKER_01]: Um, because the home runs in, uh, home runs in parlaes never never really work.
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Dude, I'm not, oh my god, what's the, it's 22nd.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_02]: I saw this.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_02]: I was on vacation this weekend and I saw it.
- 1:15:21[SPEAKER_01]: Basically it was again, like,
- 1:15:24[SPEAKER_01]: His ranks among first baseman, and he's like 34th in Bego, here's one from July 0.089 batting average 0.089 slugging percentage of 25 on base city is 4 months all year with 16 strikeouts.
- 1:15:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's a slum.
- 1:15:42[SPEAKER_01]: But like that's one more I must say comments are some generational hitter right good hitters go through a slump in a week average guys should get out of a slump after two weeks it's been a month
- 1:15:58[SPEAKER_01]: What are we doing?
- 1:16:01[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have an option.
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying that he doesn't.
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_01]: I found it as soon as I put it out here here.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_01]: We are ready Shout out to below average OPS on Twitter.
- 1:16:09[SPEAKER_01]: His name is Matt.
- 1:16:10[SPEAKER_01]: What a great great name.
- 1:16:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's an evaluator for pro prospects.
- 1:16:14[SPEAKER_02]: Ready for this.
- 1:16:15[SPEAKER_02]: Uh-huh.
- 1:16:15[SPEAKER_01]: Comans are to qualified first baseman in DH.
- 1:16:19[SPEAKER_01]: There are 43 players that are qualified hitters as majority first base in DH.
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_01]: Are you ready?
- 1:16:24[SPEAKER_01]: Uh-huh.
- 1:16:25[SPEAKER_01]: F-war, he's 41st, slugging percentage, dead last, K percentage, 38th of 43, home runs, he's 40th out of 43, and he's dead last with 30 RBIs.
- 1:16:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, Hoskins better than I might know.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_02]: I'm in close.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_01]: Is he though right now?
- 1:16:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, right now, but batten 189.
- 1:16:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sure.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_02]: Neither is an ideal playoff starter.
- 1:16:56[SPEAKER_01]: but I try like do you consider and nobody want no everybody hates Gabriel are you so don't understand like hate to start with but I don't think no no I get right sports hate you're frustrated with my get that but it's like at least once a week you're like okay you know he's like that's the like man Zardo didn't even have that for me anymore and especially if he's he's not a good first-face man either I'm sorry he's not he's not
- 1:17:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he seems to be a future just strictly DH, but he can't hit.
- 1:17:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's a, there's a problem there.
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's my nose and a show.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:17:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's, it's that muddy ball meme wrote every, like he's a generational guy.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_01]: He just, well, oh, man, who was it about court?
- 1:17:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was DJ on Galalee, not to rip him.
- 1:17:39[SPEAKER_01]: And it was that meme about playing quarterback to go, there's just guys, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, he runs this.
- 1:17:44[SPEAKER_01]: They're like, well, what's this problem?
- 1:17:46[SPEAKER_01]: They go, they invented the forward pass in 1934.
- 1:17:52[SPEAKER_01]: What's this issue?
- 1:17:52[SPEAKER_01]: The forward pass?
- 1:17:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's a group.
- 1:17:56[SPEAKER_01]: Cow made Zardo's a generational DH.
- 1:17:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, what's his fault?
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_01]: Can't hit.
- 1:18:00[SPEAKER_01]: trouble with the curve can't hit not a bad movie i watched that not bad there's a ranking one day at best baseball movies major league yeah bullderm the league of their own i like sand lot i think it's a little overhyped okay uh... bullderm is great i've never actually seen the natural

- 1:18:49[SPEAKER_02]: I'll pass on that one.
- 1:18:51[SPEAKER_02]: I still got to see the Odyssey before I hit that one.
- 1:18:55[SPEAKER_01]: Fever pitch.
- 1:18:56[SPEAKER_01]: Never heard of it.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_01]: Don't waste time.
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's a, it's a rom-com.
- 1:19:00[SPEAKER_01]: Drew Barrymore.
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, I heard Odyssey is good.
- 1:19:03[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see the Avengers trailer?
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, God.
- 1:19:06[SPEAKER_02]: Couldn't care less anymore.
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 1:19:07[SPEAKER_01]: Marvel.
- 1:19:08[SPEAKER_01]: You are going to get sucked back in.
- 1:19:09[SPEAKER_01]: Watch that trailer.
- 1:19:10[SPEAKER_01]: You're back in.
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_01]: Promise you I won't.
- 1:19:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now you will.
- 1:19:12[SPEAKER_01]: You need to.
- 1:19:13[SPEAKER_01]: I need to advance tickets for clay face.
- 1:19:16[SPEAKER_01]: You know how I could pay for some of those tickets.
- 1:19:18[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we're on fan, no, baby, let's go.
- 1:19:20[SPEAKER_01]: It is time we are all in on baseball.
- 1:19:24[SPEAKER_01]: I got a nice little four one for us today.
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_01]: Now we start with the guards, okay?
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_01]: Bailey Ober is very good.
- 1:19:37[SPEAKER_01]: And we just, this was literally the pitching matchup like last week was Bailey Ober versus Cslaid Sikone.
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_01]: He went five innings, gave up just one run, struck out five.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's, but here's, here's the reason I'm getting to a bailout, he's very good.
- 1:19:55[SPEAKER_01]: Right on the road, he's two and three with a near seven ERA on the road.
- 1:20:00[SPEAKER_01]: He's good.
- 1:20:01[SPEAKER_01]: Ain't not so good on the road.
- 1:20:02[SPEAKER_01]: All three of us lost this year on the road.
- 1:20:05[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot believe we put all right in your parlay.
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_01]: So here's why He's batting in his career 500 against Bailey Ober in his career.
- 1:20:14[SPEAKER_01]: He is five for 11 with two doubles in a home run.
- 1:20:17[SPEAKER_01]: Wow
- 1:20:19[SPEAKER_01]: 455.
- 1:20:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's got an OPS of 0.1.3 against Bailey Ober.
- 1:20:25[SPEAKER_01]: Again, in his career, five hits of those five hits, three of them are extra basits, two doubles in a home run against Bailey Ober.
- 1:20:34[SPEAKER_01]: The other one to watch today, if he's in the lineup, Daniel Schneiman also five for 11 in his career against Bailey Ober with two doubles and a home run.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 1:20:47[SPEAKER_01]: Shneemin, who I didn't put in because I assume he'll be in the line up with that kind of history, but you never know.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_01]: And Ari is, if they activate Jose today.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, is that of rumor?
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe, but maybe just DHS.
- 1:21:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_01]: I actually, I'd wait.
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_01]: There's a bonus game.
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_01]: You already won the series.
- 1:21:08[SPEAKER_01]: This is a bonus game tonight at 640.
- 1:21:09[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see other careers to kind of fade on this one Kyle man Zardo three for 15 in his career against Bailey Ober.
- 1:21:19[SPEAKER_01]: Kwan.
- 1:21:21[SPEAKER_01]: three for 24.
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a point one two five batting average in his career.
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, against Bailey Ober.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Bazon is one for three in short time.
- 1:21:31[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so again, Schneeman, Gabiarius, have your history.
- 1:21:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to roll with Bazona.
- 1:21:38[SPEAKER_01]: I love the hit run RBI combo.
- 1:21:40[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of my favorite ones.
- 1:21:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's minus 130 on its own.
- 1:21:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'll roll with Bazana on that one.
- 1:21:45[SPEAKER_01]: And Slates Coney, he just pitched against the twins.
- 1:21:48[SPEAKER_01]: He had four strikeouts and he only worked like three innings in that game.
- 1:21:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's what, three and two thirds and he had four strikeouts in just three and two thirds.
- 1:21:59[SPEAKER_01]: I assume he's gonna go a little bit longer.
- 1:22:01[SPEAKER_01]: I know he gave up three runs.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of got hit around a little bit.
- 1:22:05[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to take Guardians to win.
- 1:22:06[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to takes the Coney for the four.
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_01]: He's averaging just 3.7 over his last five starts.
- 1:22:12[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm just going to add for a little uptick.
- 1:22:14[SPEAKER_01]: That little momentum factor in this one will ride slate on this one.
- 1:22:18[SPEAKER_02]: Nice little 469 for us there on a little bit of handle.
- 1:22:20[SPEAKER_01]: Looks good to me.
- 1:22:21[SPEAKER_01]: I love baseball fans.
