- 0:11Speaker 1: three three seven eight seven one two nine. Maybe your
- 0:13Speaker 1: secret is that you're a water snob.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I was gonna say, like Cannis Lopez, but you're drinking it, Tosani.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I mean, I just needed electrolytes today, grab whatever I
- 0:21Speaker 1: could find. We gotta be honest. I'm somewhat surprised. You're
- 0:24Speaker 1: like a water so you never drink to Sonny, they
- 0:26Speaker 1: add salt. I don't think they added any more though. Yeah,
- 0:29Speaker 1: I don't know. I put a packet of stuff in here.
- 0:32Speaker 1: You can't taste it. What kind of stuff? Well, like electrolytes?
- 0:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, hydration stuff. Okay, I'm crushing it today. You
- 0:40Speaker 1: are crushing it, Cannis. No, that's no secret. No dirty
- 0:43Speaker 1: little secret is on? You have one? What's going on? Yeah?
- 0:47Speaker 2: I didn't have any intention of becoming my professor's plugged
- 0:51Speaker 2: this school year, but I accidentally kind of did. I
- 0:55Speaker 2: became his supplier, his plug, Cannis.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Do you know what a plug is? Him with something
- 1:01Speaker 1: that he needs?
- 1:02Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:03Speaker 1: Okay, Cannic is good job, not a dealer. Yeah, but
- 1:08Speaker 1: what it kind of could be your college professor's plug. Yeah.
- 1:13Speaker 2: A few weeks into the school year, I kind of
- 1:16Speaker 2: got to get to know my professor a little bit,
- 1:18Speaker 2: and you seemed really chill, and we kind of hit
- 1:20Speaker 2: it off. And then out of nowhere, he goes like, hey,
- 1:24Speaker 2: do you know where the students are getting adderall from?
- 1:26Speaker 2: And I probably should have just been like no and
- 1:29Speaker 2: walked away, but I didn't. I like, I stayed and
- 1:33Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, I guess I can. I can
- 1:34Speaker 2: find out for you'll ask around. But in my head,
- 1:37Speaker 2: I'm like I know exactly where to go, you know
- 1:38Speaker 2: what I mean.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Really, that is crazy to me that a college professor
- 1:44Speaker 1: would risk it all to get I mean adderall.
- 1:48Speaker 2: People still do adderall. Yeah, I guess. Oh yeah, the
- 1:53Speaker 2: end of class, I go down and get an envelope
- 1:55Speaker 2: out of money off of his desk and drop a
- 1:57Speaker 2: little adderall into his bag before I leave.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Uh. Yeah, so you would do this for obviously for money. Yeah,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I gotta be careful how I talk about this. By
- 2:08Speaker 1: the way, we do not suggest or advocate the abuse
- 2:12Speaker 1: of any kind of prescription medication. Nope, not at all,
- 2:15Speaker 1: so you're doing this, You're like, hey, whatever it takes,
- 2:18Speaker 1: you're making a little money on the side, and obviously
- 2:22Speaker 1: I feel like the professor's treating you differently if this
- 2:24Speaker 1: is the case, and you're probably getting.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I definitely there were some benefits on top
- 2:30Speaker 2: of the money. My grades went from like, you know,
- 2:33Speaker 2: a little less than an average maybe to being pretty good.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Like the notes on my on my test started going
- 2:39Speaker 2: from you're missing the point of this lecture. It's oh
- 2:42Speaker 2: insightful analysis.
- 2:43Speaker 1: You know what, does anybody? Does anybody know that it's happening.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I mean it's hard to obviously you're keeping this a
- 2:55Speaker 1: complete secret, but does anybody in class know that it happens? No, nobody.
- 2:59Speaker 2: You're literally first person I've told out loud. My TA
- 3:02Speaker 2: thinks I'm like suddenly an underrated genius.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess. So all of a sudden, you have
- 3:07Speaker 1: the best grades ever. Everything's perfect. You are like, wow,
- 3:11Speaker 1: we're locked in. Yeah, yeah, literally locked in, and nobody
- 3:17Speaker 1: it's just the you have discussions with the professor about anything,
- 3:20Speaker 1: or it's just kind of like, do you guys have
- 3:21Speaker 1: a deal worked out and that's it.
- 3:23Speaker 2: We just kind of have this silent arrangement.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Yeah, Well last week he did say out loud like, oh,
- 3:29Speaker 2: thanks so much for letting me take care of my
- 3:31Speaker 2: workload or help me with my workload. I was like,
- 3:33Speaker 2: oh thanks, yeah cool.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I mean you haven't made though, honestly, because if you
- 3:38Speaker 1: were to ever you know, need help with a grade,
- 3:40Speaker 1: all you have to do is be like, hey, if
- 3:42Speaker 1: you don't pass me or give me an A, I'm
- 3:44Speaker 1: obviously just gonna go tell on you. I'm a snitch.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I mean, it's pretty right. It's blackmail, and I'm not
- 3:49Speaker 1: saying it's great, but leverage. It's something you could do
- 3:53Speaker 1: if you wanted to, if you were that kind of person. Wow,
- 3:56Speaker 1: So you're just gonna keep doing this until whenever?
- 3:59Speaker 2: Yeah, as long as I got him as a professor,
- 4:01Speaker 2: and I guess I'll keep supplying.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Awesome, I plug. Yeah, I guess this is a no
- 4:07Speaker 1: judgment zone, So you do your thing. We have had
- 4:09Speaker 1: people call up with professors before. One girl said she
- 4:12Speaker 1: she was dating a professor. Yes she was, and that's
- 4:15Speaker 1: I'm sure. Listen, I didn't graduate college, but I'm assuming
- 4:18Speaker 1: that's against the rules. At least you're getting good grades.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Everybody's real productive at least.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah, he's grading papers very fast over there. Well, thank you, sir,
- 4:29Speaker 1: and good luck with everything. And I don't have to
- 4:31Speaker 1: say good luck on the grades because I know you'll
- 4:32Speaker 1: be fine. I was only in college for a year,
- 4:35Speaker 1: but I didn't I don't think I ever talked to it.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I don't remember talking to a professor. Also don't remember going
- 4:41Speaker 1: to class, so that's probably why it didn't work.
