- 0:49Speaker 3: doing my podcast. This is crazy, but I'm so happy

- 0:55Speaker 3: is awesome since the first day I met you, Miss
- 0:58Speaker 3: the Dan Romano, Welcome today to my show.

- 1:04Speaker 3: I'm so glad you here.
- 1:05Speaker 4: You are such a beautiful, amazing woman. I swear, thank you.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Thank you. You always film me up with all these compliments.
- 1:11Speaker 3: You give me a big head.
- 1:13Speaker 4: I call it facts. I don't call I just say facts.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Thank you. You are awesome. So I'm so glad you
- 1:19Speaker 3: here today and tell everybody what you do, because I mean,
- 1:23Speaker 3: I know you're an actor. I know you're a comedian.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Well, well, I doubt I am an actor. I'm an actor.
- 1:29Speaker 4: I'm in about fifteen or twenty movies. I'm on a
- 1:32Speaker 4: lot of that thing called Amazon Prime. Oh, I think
- 1:34Speaker 4: we got something on Netflix, mob King. We just did
- 1:38Speaker 4: a movie called mob King, which has been blowing up lately,
- 1:41Speaker 4: thank god.
- 1:42Speaker 3: So you more like a mobster?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:45Speaker 3: Actor, So you're an Italian actor.
- 1:48Speaker 4: I'm going to tell you I want something more challenging
- 1:51Speaker 4: like you want.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Okay, you could definitely do that. If you're a good actor,
- 1:56Speaker 3: you could do it.
- 1:57Speaker 4: I think I think an actor could do anything.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yes, could do anything. Did you have training?
- 2:02Speaker 4: No? No, I was, I was. Do you know who
- 2:05Speaker 4: Michelle Franciscus from Yess?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yes?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Her husband. Yeah that's beautiful. Well congratulations, Yes, well michelle
- 2:17Speaker 4: husband is named Nick, and they were like, I love Nick.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Me and Nick. We played in the same play pen together.
- 2:23Speaker 4: That's how many years I know Nick and Nick had
- 2:27Speaker 4: a friend named Eddie rock Rivera who was looking for
- 2:30Speaker 4: somebody that played ahead of the mob. So Nick says,
- 2:33Speaker 4: I think I have somebody. I want to introduce you
- 2:36Speaker 4: to my friend Danny And this is for this was
- 2:39Speaker 4: for the movie The Streets. Uh. They came in. I
- 2:43Speaker 4: sat down with them for about ten minutes and Eddie
- 2:45Speaker 4: rock Rivera says, this is the guy I want to
- 2:47Speaker 4: play the head of the Mapia. From that movie we won.
- 2:51Speaker 4: We wound up winning Best Movie of the Year award
- 2:53Speaker 4: and I wound up having the honor of winning Best
- 2:56Speaker 4: Actor of the Year award in the in the first
- 2:58Speaker 4: ever Corona film First, which I was very And that's
- 3:02Speaker 4: how my acting career started.
- 3:03Speaker 3: How many years ago?
- 3:04Speaker 4: Was that about six five or six?
- 3:06Speaker 3: So you started later in your life.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Like me, Oh yeah, yeah. I said it as a joke,
- 3:12Speaker 4: like when they asked me I said I don't want
- 3:13Speaker 4: to be I.
- 3:14Speaker 3: Was, well, well, yeah, Staten Island.
- 3:19Speaker 4: When you have that in your blood, I definitely agree
- 3:22Speaker 4: with you. But after that movie came in, then another
- 3:27Speaker 4: one came in, and I never auditioned. I have never
- 3:29Speaker 4: auditioned for a movie which I'm very happy about because
- 3:32Speaker 4: I think I would suck at audition, but I am blessed.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Auditions aren't like they used to be anymore. That's not
- 3:38Speaker 3: like yeah, now it's like they do it online.
- 3:40Speaker 4: They said, I don't think you did anything online, stay,
- 3:44Speaker 4: I think you have to actually meet the person, to
- 3:47Speaker 4: their physical their facial expression. How did they act? I
- 3:52Speaker 4: mean online you limited you are.
- 3:54Speaker 3: I was talking to Chas's Sun was on the show
- 3:57Speaker 3: that was my last episode I did, it was and
- 4:00Speaker 3: he said the same thing. And he's he's been a
- 4:02Speaker 3: child actor too, I mean obviously his father's childs who's
- 4:05Speaker 3: a great actor.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Of course, you know.
- 4:07Speaker 3: But he said the same thing. He said that you know. Now,
- 4:10Speaker 3: the way it is is that you know, they look
- 4:13Speaker 3: they're looking for like scouting social media, they're scouting all
- 4:16Speaker 3: the places for other avenues to find it.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Well, now it's more competition because now the influences have
- 4:23Speaker 4: been taking of everything, which is a beautiful thing. It's
- 4:26Speaker 4: an absolutely beautiful thing. And now you get a hundred
- 4:29Speaker 4: different faces to choose from instead of six, instead of seven,
- 4:33Speaker 4: because the abroad is out there, the selection is out there.
- 4:37Speaker 4: Now you could just click a button and now you
- 4:39Speaker 4: have hundreds of thousands of applicants to look from. Yes,
- 4:43Speaker 4: back in the day, it was not like that. It
- 4:45Speaker 4: was a lot easier because it was you versus one
- 4:47Speaker 4: the other room everybody. Well that's true too, right, yes,
- 4:50Speaker 4: but there.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Was also a lot of people, a lot of stolets
- 4:52Speaker 3: in Hollywood. When they started out. They start with two
- 4:55Speaker 3: three hundred people that they start they well roomed them,
- 4:59Speaker 3: and then they would hamp the ones that they.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Like the best. Well, even the best people in the world,
- 5:03Speaker 4: even the most famous people in the world, started in
- 5:05Speaker 4: a small part, a bedroom part, or it could have
- 5:08Speaker 4: been the found them somewhere. Well, yeah, exactly. Oh, they
- 5:11Speaker 4: were having dinner when somebody just approached them.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Listen, if you got it, you know, it doesn't matter.
- 5:16Speaker 4: But you know what you could You could actually, like
- 5:18Speaker 4: like you said, you could actually groom somebody to become
- 5:20Speaker 4: the part, which is an amazing thing about acting. You
- 5:23Speaker 4: could actually teach, you can actually put somebody through emotion.
- 5:26Speaker 4: There's a lot of different ways, a lot of different
- 5:28Speaker 4: techniques to get what you need to get out.
- 5:30Speaker 3: But you also have to have it too. I mean,
- 5:32Speaker 3: not everybody can act.
- 5:34Speaker 4: The hardest thing in the world is the ability to cry.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Oh, I cried in my scene. Michael Lewis about that,
- 5:41Speaker 3: I'll tell you the funniest story.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Yeah I could imagine.
- 5:44Speaker 3: So yeah, So we were doing it was a funeral
- 5:47Speaker 3: scene and I play Chaz's wife's sister. So we play
- 5:51Speaker 3: Gina Gershwin's sister. Okay, so I'm in the front and
- 5:54Speaker 3: they're like, all right, Jen, you're crying and you're upset.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I actually issued to this, this young actress who plays
- 5:59Speaker 3: my want to sit next man. I didn't met the
- 6:01Speaker 3: girlf metaph like that.
- 6:02Speaker 4: You didn't even have any Now.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Come in do this so cool? But I go to
- 6:06Speaker 3: I do have I do take acting classes and Michael
- 6:09Speaker 3: Lewis was laughing. He's like, Jen, when you were sitting
- 6:11Speaker 3: there cracking, I was sitting there laughing with Tony Darryl
- 6:13Speaker 3: like and five minutes before. And then they were like
- 6:17Speaker 3: all right, Jen, action and then I'm and I started
- 6:20Speaker 3: crying and he was like, Jen, I was so impressed
- 6:22Speaker 3: with you that you just got out of that and
- 6:25Speaker 3: you into that character I did. I was crying.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Amazing skill.
- 6:29Speaker 3: But yeah, but it's like again, it's method. You know.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I was thinking about something that was really sad. Yeah,
- 6:34Speaker 3: and you know this is what how.
- 6:36Speaker 4: Well I could see I could see you lighting up,
- 6:38Speaker 4: but lighting up a screen with no problem.
- 6:40Speaker 3: I really the screen too.
- 6:42Speaker 4: Well, No, a little bit of a little bit, not
- 6:45Speaker 4: too big. But you know what, we have a lot
- 6:48Speaker 4: of things we got accomplished in the acting world, which
- 6:50Speaker 4: is something again, something that fell on my lot. But
- 6:52Speaker 4: I'm happy, very honored that it did. And I have
- 6:55Speaker 4: a show if i'm if I may, I have a
- 6:57Speaker 4: show called the Dan Will Mono Show. But it's the
- 7:00Speaker 4: rated our show.
- 7:03Speaker 3: You could talk about it well.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Because I was a little bit I had the show
- 7:07Speaker 4: like we had the number one show with GOBS Radio,
- 7:10Speaker 4: you know governors Governor's Comedy clubs. We had, they had
- 7:13Speaker 4: a little studio there and we had the number one
- 7:16Speaker 4: rated our show there. That's where I started out in
- 7:18Speaker 4: the in the in the internet world. I was the
- 7:21Speaker 4: kind of guy that I never liked to be told
- 7:23Speaker 4: what to do, and I didn't like rules and I
- 7:26Speaker 4: didn't like regulations. So I always quit the station that
- 7:29Speaker 4: I was on because once they started having a hook
- 7:31Speaker 4: in your mouth, you're not yourself anymore. You're there's your property,
- 7:36Speaker 4: and I don't want to be anybody's property. My rule
- 7:38Speaker 4: was simple, whatever you charge for the show, here's your money.
- 7:43Speaker 4: The rest leave up to me. And they would always
- 7:46Speaker 4: agree in the beginning, but after the popularity and after
- 7:49Speaker 4: the money started coming in, they wanted a bigger piece.
- 7:52Speaker 4: And that's where I always had the problem, because why
- 7:55Speaker 4: should I be paying more for my show while everybody
- 7:58Speaker 4: else is paying peanuts? Why do you need to make
- 8:00Speaker 4: from me but you're doing the exact same work as
- 8:02Speaker 4: everybody else's show. To me, it made no sense.
- 8:05Speaker 3: So now you're start it again.
- 8:06Speaker 4: I think, well, now I have the I'm blessed with
- 8:09Speaker 4: a brand new guy who wants to put all his
- 8:10Speaker 4: money behind my show and pay me and then he
- 8:14Speaker 4: takes over the property. So I think I might do that.
- 8:16Speaker 4: I think that on my show.
- 8:18Speaker 3: So what do you talk about on the show?
- 8:19Speaker 4: Everything? There's nothing I don't I put everything. I put
- 8:22Speaker 4: regular people, workers, strippers, models, No, what's the promise, It's
- 8:28Speaker 4: just the d it's just the damn mount. It's it's
- 8:30Speaker 4: a talk about anything. Anything can happen. I've had people
- 8:33Speaker 4: break up on my show. I've had I've had girls
- 8:37Speaker 4: make out on my show. I had guys make out
- 8:39Speaker 4: on my show. I had Louis c K on my
- 8:41Speaker 4: show with a naked girl. I love Louis I had
- 8:44Speaker 4: I had Louis c K with a naked girl on
- 8:46Speaker 4: my show and him running around to see Louis run
- 8:49Speaker 4: away from the naked girl. It's comedy. It's it's comical.
- 8:54Speaker 3: So do you like stud you stand up to?
- 8:56Speaker 4: No, I just sit down.
- 8:57Speaker 3: You just sit down, okay? Said down instead?
- 9:01Speaker 4: I never do stand up. I just want to be
- 9:04Speaker 4: Dan Romano the host and uh and I want the comedians.
- 9:09Speaker 3: You want to be like the Johnny Carson that.
- 9:12Speaker 4: I want the comedians to come and to bring the
- 9:16Speaker 4: best that they got and enjoy the show. That's their job.
- 9:19Speaker 4: My job is to advertise it. My job is to
- 9:21Speaker 4: fill up the place. Their job is to come and
- 9:23Speaker 4: bring the comedy. So I don't want to ever take
- 9:26Speaker 4: away from their job. I don't call myself a comedian.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I don't want to call myself a comedian. I'm not
- 9:31Speaker 4: a comedian. I'm just me.
- 9:33Speaker 3: What would be your what would be like your dream
- 9:37Speaker 3: person to have on the show when you're when you're ready,
- 9:39Speaker 3: when you when you start doing your show again, you
- 9:44Speaker 3: now me, now.
- 9:45Speaker 4: You know I'm already there were a lot of people.
- 9:47Speaker 4: I mean I've had. I mean, I've had a lot
- 9:50Speaker 4: of people I've I've had. I mean, I would love
- 9:52Speaker 4: to do the Mayo again because he's getting so much.
- 9:55Speaker 4: But I've had him on the show. I've had Michelle
- 9:58Speaker 4: on the show. And Michelle I worked with in the
- 10:00Speaker 4: movie The Streets. She actually did an amazing I don't
- 10:02Speaker 4: know if you ever saw Michelle acting, but she is
- 10:05Speaker 4: one of them, and she did. She did a movie
- 10:08Speaker 4: herself too. Yeah, I forgot. I'm embarrassed, but I was.
- 10:14Speaker 4: It's not on my brain, but she did The Streets movie.
- 10:16Speaker 4: She did a phenomenal job. She played her mother who
- 10:20Speaker 4: was concerned about the daughter and she was in charge.
- 10:22Speaker 4: I mean, she did an amazing job. She's one hell
- 10:24Speaker 4: of an actress. Beyond what she does on the on
- 10:28Speaker 4: the sets, but she she brings a lot of talent
- 10:31Speaker 4: to the screen. She's a talented she's well lit. She's
- 10:36Speaker 4: a well live young lady.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Yeah, she definitely is. And Willie we hope that graves crazy.
- 10:42Speaker 4: I know, great Grays and William you know I love it. Well,
- 10:44Speaker 4: let me tell you a quick story about William. William
- 10:47Speaker 4: knew I was in the restaurant business, working eighty ninety
- 10:50Speaker 4: hours a week. William gave me a call one day.
- 10:52Speaker 4: He says, Danny, you come up with me. So where
- 10:54Speaker 4: we're going. So we're gonna go to John Gotties Junior's fights.
- 10:59Speaker 4: These doing the m M A fight. I got front
- 11:02Speaker 4: road tickets. You don't expect that from a guy. You don't.
- 11:05Speaker 4: You don't expect that. That lifeline out of nowhere. But
- 11:10Speaker 4: let me tell you something. The man is inviting me
- 11:12Speaker 4: in the house. The man is a gentleman. The man
- 11:14Speaker 4: is h he's God gift, he's a God sent man,
- 11:18Speaker 4: and he's a beautiful guy. And he and he talked
- 11:20Speaker 4: to me for a couple of hours. I talked to
- 11:22Speaker 4: his beautiful son. Was just with the son. Yeah, I
- 11:24Speaker 4: just with the son at the at the Pizza Bowl,
- 11:27Speaker 4: which was great. Seeing Chris Well. I had the opportunity.
- 11:30Speaker 4: I had a two hour ride with Chris and I
- 11:32Speaker 4: would sit with him the whole time because they were
- 11:34Speaker 4: yapping about the fight and we didn't I didn't know
- 11:36Speaker 4: that about the fight. I'm not I'm not into that.
- 11:39Speaker 4: But I was talking with him and he's got one
- 11:40Speaker 4: of the most incredible minds you can ever get in.
- 11:44Speaker 3: From this time. Yes, definitely not. I mean that's he's
- 11:49Speaker 3: definitely not a gen z or.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Can I can I talk about New York City pizza
- 11:53Speaker 4: joints really quick?
- 11:54Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Next year they're doing a contest in Jersey, the same
- 11:58Speaker 4: place where this six best pizzerias in Jersey are gonna
- 12:03Speaker 4: go up against the six best pizzerias from all over
- 12:06Speaker 4: New York. And and I get the honor of picking
- 12:09Speaker 4: who is going to represent the Bronx.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Oh I love that.
- 12:13Speaker 4: So I got every pizzeria calling me, Dan, you gotta
- 12:15Speaker 4: come taste this, Danny, you gotta come. And it's it's overwhelming.
- 12:19Speaker 4: I mean, what what what guy match has put together?
- 12:23Speaker 4: And for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, beautiful thing. And
- 12:27Speaker 4: you were a big part of that. You were a
- 12:28Speaker 4: big part that people gave because you were there.
- 12:30Speaker 3: They were a big part of the station here too.
- 12:32Speaker 4: I love it. I love it, I love I love them,
- 12:37Speaker 4: I love the group. I love the young lady who's
- 12:38Speaker 4: in charge of I got the name, I got the pictures,
- 12:40Speaker 4: but you know me, I forget everybody's name. I was
- 12:43Speaker 4: nine years old.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I don't know anybody. It doesn't know anybody.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Well, usually they know me. I don't know. It's easier.
- 12:49Speaker 4: It's easier when they know you. I put, I put,
- 12:53Speaker 4: I'll put the picture on my Facebook and I'll wait
- 12:55Speaker 4: for them to reply. So I know the way.
- 12:57Speaker 3: That's me.
- 12:58Speaker 4: You have what I have to learn. You know, I'm
- 13:01Speaker 4: I'm still were how old do I look?
- 13:05Speaker 3: Well? You know nobody. You can't tell anybody's agent anymore.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Fifty four. Okay, so I'm an old man.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Your ex a like me. I'm just saying you, there's
- 13:13Speaker 3: no excuse you not to know how to use a phone.
- 13:17Speaker 4: I don't.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know what the hell they're doing.
- 13:20Speaker 3: And they need to learn. But generation access there's no business.
- 13:24Speaker 3: But I'm not. You have to learn. You better start tagging.
- 13:26Speaker 4: I'm gonna try. I'm gonna truy.
- 13:28Speaker 3: You gotta be, I'll teacher, I'll be. I have to learn,
- 13:31Speaker 3: and I have to know you.
- 13:31Speaker 4: I would absolutely be honest. By the way. Audie push
- 13:38Speaker 4: Wall says, Hello, my boy, he gave me a call.
- 13:41Speaker 4: He wished me luck on it before I came on, which, which, yeah,
- 13:44Speaker 4: I love audio.
- 13:45Speaker 3: We had so much fun at that. Oh my god.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Joe Gambino was there, his beautiful girlfriend Gina.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yep, sweet, but I have a birthday party for Joe
- 13:55Speaker 3: my oh my god. It wasn't really It started out
- 13:58Speaker 3: with five people.
- 14:00Speaker 4: You know, you're not You're gonna get under it by
- 14:01Speaker 4: the end.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And then and then the day before they were like,
- 14:03Speaker 3: can we invite this one? On that one? I'm like,
- 14:05Speaker 3: all right, you know, I was like, I would have
- 14:07Speaker 3: invited more people.
- 14:09Speaker 4: How are you gonna do that? Yeah? It's and he
- 14:11Speaker 4: knows so many? Then you then you'll be getting instead
- 14:14Speaker 4: of ten people, you get two thousands or what are
- 14:15Speaker 4: you gonna do?
- 14:16Speaker 3: But we had, we had We wished him happy birthday.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Michael Lewis was their birthday. So you know michaelis he's
- 14:24Speaker 3: an act Yeah, I know, I know, but he's yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 3: good people.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Me and Joe Gambino, all right, we're in a we're
- 14:31Speaker 4: in a movie together. But he plays I play one
- 14:34Speaker 4: of the mobsters in another movie, The Saints Code, but
- 14:38Speaker 4: he plays something totally different. But I don't want to
- 14:40Speaker 4: reveal it until he does it. But he is. He's
- 14:43Speaker 4: got a remarkable voice, very very well dressed man, well
- 14:48Speaker 4: talented man. And and I and I don't know, you know,
- 14:50Speaker 4: we did. We did a show with him. I did
- 14:52Speaker 4: a show with him and the Bronx And this is
- 14:54Speaker 4: the first time I believe we welcomed Joe Gambino to
- 14:57Speaker 4: the Bronx. One hundred people showed up. Everybody love the great,
- 15:01Speaker 4: great atmosphere, came around, shook hands. You know, he's being Joe,
- 15:04Speaker 4: being big Joe. And you gotta you gotta love people
- 15:07Speaker 4: like that because people that give back to the community,
- 15:10Speaker 4: people they want to help, and they know, those are
- 15:12Speaker 4: the kind of people you want, like you you want
- 15:14Speaker 4: to associate with a good, good circle of people. Ever
- 15:17Speaker 4: since I started getting out, getting back into the acting world,
- 15:21Speaker 4: I started looking at life a little bit different, and
- 15:23Speaker 4: I started making my circle a little bit smaller.
- 15:26Speaker 3: And when you make it, they are Yeah, that's the truth.
- 15:30Speaker 4: One thing I love, Oh yeah, well, the one thing
- 15:33Speaker 4: I learned is so much jealousy in this business. I
- 15:36Speaker 4: get phone calls, Danny, you didn't deserve to win, all right,
- 15:39Speaker 4: take the ward back, he says, you want to take
- 15:41Speaker 4: it back? What do you want me to do? Like,
- 15:43Speaker 4: you know, I don't know the answer to these people.
- 15:45Speaker 3: You know, it's so funny. I was watching something that
- 15:48Speaker 3: was What's her name from Shock Tank. Who's the blonde
- 15:51Speaker 3: that does all the the pvs.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Oh yeah, no, no, no, not the young one I'm
- 15:57Speaker 4: talking about.
- 15:58Speaker 3: She's sad. This is how you know if somebody is
- 16:00Speaker 3: your friends are not not now if they come and
- 16:03Speaker 3: help you with in the bad times, it's if they
- 16:06Speaker 3: come in the good times and they're there for you.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Because if they come and support you when something is
- 16:11Speaker 3: good is happening to you, that's just that's the truth.
- 16:15Speaker 3: That's a true friend.
- 16:16Speaker 4: That is the true things.
- 16:17Speaker 3: No, because when they when they when they're Laurie right,
- 16:21Speaker 3: her name is Laurie. Okay, thank you Laurie. The girl's
- 16:23Speaker 3: name is she said, because the bad times they could
- 16:26Speaker 3: stand over you and feel better that something bad is
- 16:29Speaker 3: happening to you, and they make them feel they feel better.
- 16:32Speaker 3: But the good times, if they're not around, that means
- 16:35Speaker 3: they're not supporting you, and that makes a lot of sense.
- 16:39Speaker 3: They're like, you know, you know when somebody tell somebody
- 16:42Speaker 3: somebody is something good has happening. By the way, this
- 16:44Speaker 3: is happening, uh whatever, it is like I got a
- 16:47Speaker 3: part to a show and they're like, that's nice. That's like,
- 16:51Speaker 3: you know, we want them to say Oh my god,
- 16:53Speaker 3: that's great. I'm so happy I'm there for you. That's
- 16:56Speaker 3: a that's the true, true people. That's the true people.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Now I want to thank the people that were so
- 17:00Speaker 4: happy that I were coming on this show. And there
- 17:03Speaker 4: were a lot there were a lot of people they're like,
- 17:05Speaker 4: oh my god, she's beautiful, she's amazing. I'm like, I know,
- 17:07Speaker 4: I know, I met every time I see you on
- 17:10Speaker 4: a show, every time I see you at an event,
- 17:12Speaker 4: You're always smiling, You're always pleasant. You always got that,
- 17:15Speaker 4: you know. Especially I don't know if I'm allowed to
- 17:17Speaker 4: say what kind of singer you are, but you're very
- 17:19Speaker 4: great thing.
- 17:21Speaker 3: But I know.
- 17:23Speaker 4: To go on the microphone, you gotta look we do
- 17:26Speaker 4: on the microphone right now. We do where we're born.
- 17:29Speaker 3: For this, you have to. But I do get a
- 17:31Speaker 3: lot of good feedback with the show. I'm happy. I'm
- 17:33Speaker 3: happy that people watch it. So it's it's it's nice
- 17:36Speaker 3: to get that, you know, those accolades. People say that
- 17:39Speaker 3: to you, Well.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Have you done? Have you done anything else besides GRAYSND.
- 17:43Speaker 3: I did a show with Steve stanielis great kills. I
- 17:47Speaker 3: know I'm that and I'm going to be in the
- 17:49Speaker 3: next season. I was a season two that's beautiful, that's
- 17:52Speaker 3: out on Prime. I mean I do. I've been doing
- 17:54Speaker 3: a lot of reality that that I do. But now
- 17:57Speaker 3: I want to do I want to really act like
- 17:59Speaker 3: that's what that's I love it, that's what I want.
- 18:01Speaker 3: I want to do. So now I have a manager.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Now you know what I think. I have a movie
- 18:06Speaker 4: called Penance. Maybe I get you in it. Oh please,
- 18:09Speaker 4: I have a movie that's all. See this is the problem.
- 18:12Speaker 4: I have a movie that's written and and you know,
- 18:15Speaker 4: it was half by me and half by a friend
- 18:18Speaker 4: of mine, and somebody wants to buy it. I want
- 18:22Speaker 4: to bring it to life. I don't want to sell.
- 18:24Speaker 4: I can make an extra thirty forty grand, but I
- 18:26Speaker 4: don't want it. I want to. I want to bring
- 18:28Speaker 4: it to life myself. It's hard, I know, believe me.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I know.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Willy goes through. Look what Willy does. Willi's back the
- 18:35Speaker 3: director produce.
- 18:36Speaker 4: That Willly Willly? WILLI listen. I was there. I was
- 18:39Speaker 4: there in the beginning when WILLI was scared or hesitant,
- 18:45Speaker 4: I sat down. I was I had the the when
- 18:48Speaker 4: he was selling the BB You're you familiar with the
- 18:50Speaker 4: BB brand? Yeah, and I had. I had a restaurant
- 18:53Speaker 4: where we were selling the BB brand for him, so
- 18:56Speaker 4: I came up with this idea. We're in the middle
- 18:58Speaker 4: of seven restaurants or seven bars that the kids always
- 19:02Speaker 4: forget to wear a certain shirt so they can't get
- 19:04Speaker 4: in the bar. So I used to put them in
- 19:06Speaker 4: the in the window. If you can't get into a bar,
- 19:09Speaker 4: buy a BB brand shirt. We show twenty thirty shirts
- 19:11Speaker 4: a week because you know these kids. Day they they
- 19:14Speaker 4: come out with something they can't wear, they can't get in,
- 19:16Speaker 4: so what are they doing? But when William was selling
- 19:20Speaker 4: the BB brand, I'm so proud that he decided to
- 19:23Speaker 4: go forth because I think I believe it was during
- 19:26Speaker 4: COVID nineteen when all the starters, when all the started happening,
- 19:30Speaker 4: and but I'm very proud that he went. I said,
- 19:32Speaker 4: will you got one shot? Take it?
- 19:33Speaker 3: That's it.
- 19:34Speaker 4: What are you gonna do? What are you gonna do?
- 19:35Speaker 4: Hold onto it? So you take it, You roll the dice,
- 19:38Speaker 4: you got, you got, you got the storyline, you got.
- 19:40Speaker 4: The mafia thinks.
- 19:42Speaker 3: It even if it doesn't play the hand. And that's
- 19:44Speaker 3: why I.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Give I give credit to anybody, even if they put
- 19:46Speaker 4: crap out there. Just to put it out and give
- 19:49Speaker 4: it the shot you got to give you got you
- 19:51Speaker 4: got to give them the deuce, you know it. Miss
- 19:56Speaker 4: that's what one person's garbage is another person's u value.
- 20:01Speaker 4: So you don't know, you don't know who you put.
- 20:02Speaker 3: It in, never know, and you don't know what the
- 20:04Speaker 3: people are gonna like. You never know, like you know,
- 20:07Speaker 3: it's just it's just a hit or a messlee.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Well, yeah, well that's what it is. And you know what,
- 20:11Speaker 4: now there's ten billions much, there's ten billion people out there.
- 20:15Speaker 4: You don't need the right people to watch you now,
- 20:17Speaker 4: you just need you can have a million of the
- 20:19Speaker 4: wrong people to watch you. And those exactly Irish celebrity.
- 20:22Speaker 3: It's not like years ago when there was five three channels,
- 20:25Speaker 3: one shot everybody got everybody. People are not watching one
- 20:29Speaker 3: shot exactly. That's like the honeymoon is age.
- 20:32Speaker 4: That's what happened. That's that was the beautiful thing about
- 20:34Speaker 4: COVID nineteen, COVID nineteen. The only blessing I seen out
- 20:37Speaker 4: of COVID nineteen was all the people, all these independent actors.
- 20:42Speaker 4: They had a chance to strive, they had a chance
- 20:44Speaker 4: to actually be seen, because you can't the other ones
- 20:47Speaker 4: ain't gonna work for no money, you know. But me,
- 20:50Speaker 4: I'll work for two or three hundred dollars a day
- 20:52Speaker 4: to put it on, you know, and be part of
- 20:55Speaker 4: a movie and make somebody else's dream come true. I
- 20:57Speaker 4: would love to do that. And that's why you got
- 20:59Speaker 4: all these independ thing guys. Now they're blowing up because
- 21:02Speaker 4: everybody else is sleeping, and what are we going to watch?
- 21:05Speaker 3: I think Hollywood is dead at this point.
- 21:08Speaker 4: I think it'll wake up, but I.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Think it's going to be more. It's all wrong, the.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Gold and stuff about people eating kids and all this
- 21:14Speaker 4: garbage that they talk about it.
- 21:15Speaker 3: I don't know, it's just I think it's just it's
- 21:18Speaker 3: just lived its lifespan, you know what I'm saying. Now,
- 21:21Speaker 3: Now there's so many streaming channels, people could do stuff
- 21:24Speaker 3: on their phone. I mean, they don't have to have
- 21:26Speaker 3: these big Hollywood productions with the money people are spending,
- 21:30Speaker 3: and these like elite actors and all this other stuff.
- 21:32Speaker 3: You know. It's just I think I think that the
- 21:35Speaker 3: times and the tastes have changed.
- 21:36Speaker 4: I think putting all these big actors, these ten million
- 21:40Speaker 4: dollar actors in low budget films is the wrong thing.
- 21:43Speaker 4: To do. I really think it's because what are you
- 21:47Speaker 4: dependent on your own or you dependent on the name.
- 21:50Speaker 3: So yeah, but you know what the problem is is
- 21:52Speaker 3: that in the beginning, if you want to get something
- 21:53Speaker 3: out there, sometimes you need that to get it pushed out.
- 21:56Speaker 3: This gets to look at it.
- 21:58Speaker 4: I could see what I get. Yeah, I mean I
- 22:01Speaker 4: worked with Eric Roberts. I think Eric Robbers is one
- 22:03Speaker 4: of the I love Eric. Oh my god.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I worked with him on Great Hills.
- 22:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I love Warwick. I hung out with him in
- 22:09Speaker 4: Atlantic City. I worked with him in what was it mob?
- 22:14Speaker 4: One of those mob things. I forget.
- 22:19Speaker 3: I was there with Catherine Oh yeah.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I got. I forgot her name, the really really
- 22:23Speaker 4: pretty one, uh Meme Medle. I was a driver. I
- 22:29Speaker 4: had to go pick her up. I had to go
- 22:30Speaker 4: pick her up. She I think she's Engraves and I
- 22:33Speaker 4: just forgot. She's really gorgeous.
- 22:35Speaker 3: She was in the Sopranos too, I know.
- 22:37Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I got the names.
- 22:40Speaker 3: I can't think of her name right now.
- 22:41Speaker 4: So she's like, good Dan, I'm like, yeah, yeah, as
- 22:43Speaker 4: long as she remember me, I'm bear with names.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:46Speaker 4: She's like, oh, you're driving me. I'm like yeah, yes,
- 22:48Speaker 4: I come on, let's go in the car.
- 22:50Speaker 3: She's she's a she's a good actress.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Oh, she's very beautiful, very stunny.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Young.
- 22:55Speaker 4: I remembers stuff. I got her name, but it is Look,
- 22:59Speaker 4: I was nine before I learned.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Mah, so you're admitted that to people.
- 23:03Speaker 4: Oh it's a joke. I'm just joking with you.
