A Virginia sheriff’s deputy call that started as a possible suicide turned deadly when investigators found 29-year-old Adonise Bernard Patrick dead inside his Hanover home — but not from suicide. Instead, a violent altercation with 19-year-old Emily-Asia Lynn Pierce, who was holding a firearm, led to a fatal gunshot. Pierce, from Rockville, is now in custody without bond, facing charges including involuntary manslaughter and reckless firearm use — and underage drinking.
