Speaker 1: Hi, Catherine, Hi, Chelsea, Hi, Hi everybody. I just we're
0:06
Speaker 1: in LA with the fires, and.
0:10
Speaker 2: You flew back just in time for this. In fact,
0:12
Speaker 2: I flew back just in time for the fires.
0:14
Speaker 1: I was with my nieces all week in Whistler, and
0:16
Speaker 1: I flew back to host the Critics' Choice Awards, which
0:18
Speaker 1: are being postponed now due to the fires. And we
0:21
Speaker 1: landed and she was like, did you see the fire
0:23
Speaker 1: we flew through? And I was like, one of my
0:26
Speaker 1: nieces and I'm like what, And then I had I
0:28
Speaker 1: didn't have Wi Fi in the flights. I wasn't I
0:30
Speaker 1: was reading and I saw and then I saw my
0:33
Speaker 1: phone and I was like, oh my god. And so
0:36
Speaker 1: I'm at a hotel like everyone else in Los Angeles and
0:41
Speaker 1: Critics Choice Towards. I'm here post phoned obviously. January twenty sixth.
0:46
Speaker 3: Okay, I am probably going to turn around and go
0:50
Speaker 3: back to Whistler since this is a disaster, okay, and
0:53
Speaker 3: there's really nothing for me to do here, are you guys?
0:56
Speaker 1: We had to evacuate my street, but I don't know
0:58
Speaker 1: what's going on on my street. The pictures in the
1:02
Speaker 1: Palisades are so devastating.
1:04
Speaker 2: You'll see one house that's burned, and then the one
1:07
Speaker 2: next to it is fine, and then the one next
1:08
Speaker 2: to that is burnt.
1:09
Speaker 4: I mean, it's just like it's.
1:10
Speaker 2: So random and devastating and all consuming and just really awful.
1:17
Speaker 1: Wow, I mean yikes.
1:20
Speaker 5: Yeah, So it's fires are just the worst thing to watch,
1:24
Speaker 5: you know, like see and how they catch and how
1:27
Speaker 5: they spread. Like the whole Palisades is just fucking destroyed.
1:33
Speaker 2: I just got a text from my boss that his
1:35
Speaker 2: house has gone like literally just right now.
1:38
Speaker 1: Good God.
1:40
Speaker 2: But he and his wife and baby got out yesterday.
1:44
Speaker 2: So yeah, it's like you look for these silver linings.
1:48
Speaker 2: It doesn't make it any less devastating, but there you
1:50
Speaker 2: have it.
1:51
Speaker 1: What's the silver lining? Oh that he's just.
1:53
Speaker 4: They got out.
1:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, where's the one?
1:55
Speaker 4: I'd like to where can we just like find that?
1:57
Speaker 5: Please?
1:58
Speaker 1: Well, we have our guest today. We re recorded this
2:01
Speaker 1: a while ago, so this episode is a lot about
2:04
Speaker 1: vaginal wellness for all guess those of you who are
2:07
Speaker 1: listening and who are not impacted by the fires and
2:10
Speaker 1: who want to learn more about your Pikachu, here's an
2:13
Speaker 1: episode for you. Please welcome Low Bosworth.
2:18
Speaker 6: Hello, gorgeous gaggle of girls on a couch.
2:21
Speaker 1: Hello, Hello, Hello Bosworth. Hello, Hi, how are you? I'm
2:26
Speaker 1: ready to talk about vaginal wellness. I'm ready to talk
2:29
Speaker 1: about female wellness, vaginal wellness, anal wellness. I mean, if
2:34
Speaker 1: we have anything to cover on that, we want to
2:36
Speaker 1: just be well. We want to be well. And we
2:39
Speaker 1: have you here today to talk about all of the
2:41
Speaker 1: amazing things that you've accomplished with your company.
2:44
Speaker 6: Yes, thank you for having me. I don't know if
2:46
Speaker 6: you remember, but I was on your show on E
2:50
Speaker 6: a really long time ago once when I was on
2:53
Speaker 6: the hills, and I was so scared to come on
2:55
Speaker 6: your show because I was so intimidated.
2:58
Speaker 1: How was it, How was the experience? Was I nice? Scary?
3:02
Speaker 4: It was scariest?
3:02
Speaker 1: Book was it? Was I nice to you?
3:05
Speaker 6: You were very nice.
3:06
Speaker 1: Yes, I don't know why people are so intimidated by me.
3:09
Speaker 1: I mean, I do know, but I didn't know for
3:12
Speaker 1: so long what the problem was. I was like, God,
3:14
Speaker 1: everyone would say that to me, like You're so scary,
3:16
Speaker 1: You're so scary, and I'm like, I actually still don't
3:19
Speaker 1: really quite get it. But that's for another time.
3:21
Speaker 6: I guess you're a strong, funny woman. And I think
3:24
Speaker 6: people don't want to be don't want them, don't want
3:28
Speaker 6: you to like point out their obvious areas of opportunity.
3:31
Speaker 1: Yes, nice, Yes, thank you. You know what, that was
3:34
Speaker 1: probably the most eloquent way you could put it, So
3:36
Speaker 1: thank you for saying it so I didn't have to
3:38
Speaker 1: say it ineloquently. But good to know. And I accept this.
3:44
Speaker 1: I accept this badge of whatever it is because I understand.
3:47
Speaker 1: But I'm glad that I'm getting to see you again anyway.
3:50
Speaker 1: And I was gonna say, had I interviewed you on
3:52
Speaker 1: Chelsea lately? Because I had so many interviews in the
3:55
Speaker 1: span of my career, with all of the talk shows
3:57
Speaker 1: that I've done, that sometimes I meet people and I
3:59
Speaker 1: can't tell, Like I had Christini. I had Christina Ricci
4:03
Speaker 1: on the other week we had her on the podcast,
4:05
Speaker 1: and I was looking at her sitting here, looking at
4:07
Speaker 1: her face, going, I never forget a face, and I'm like,
4:11
Speaker 1: I couldn't remember whether or not I had interviewed her,
4:13
Speaker 1: and I was looking at her face and I'm like,
4:15
Speaker 1: her face is a very unusual, you know, she has
4:17
Speaker 1: a very unique face. And while I was looking at
4:20
Speaker 1: I'm like, I know I haven't seen this face face
4:22
Speaker 1: to face before, you know, And so I was like, oh,
4:25
Speaker 1: and then she said no, I was never on your show.
4:27
Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, that much I know. So anyway, low Bosworth,
4:31
Speaker 1: you obviously people would have become familiar with you a
4:34
Speaker 1: long time ago from a show you were on called
4:36
Speaker 1: The Hills, which was like probably the first reality show really.
4:40
Speaker 6: Or Laguna Beach before that.
4:42
Speaker 4: Oh yeah, it was early Laguna Beach.
4:44
Speaker 6: I don't know if you remember that, but that was
4:46
Speaker 6: twenty years ago. We started were it debuted in two
4:50
Speaker 6: thousand and four, which is when I graduated high school
4:52
Speaker 6: and then started college. So yeah, a full twenty years
4:56
Speaker 6: ago Laguna came on the air, and then The Hills
4:58
Speaker 6: followed that. So so it's been a while.
5:02
Speaker 1: Listen, you made a career out of being on a
5:05
Speaker 1: reality show that was that wasn't a thing before. I mean,
5:08
Speaker 1: it's a thing now, but you were able to parlay
5:10
Speaker 1: that into something meaningful and great. So fucking good for you,
5:14
Speaker 1: and congratulations.
5:15
Speaker 6: Thank you.
5:16
Speaker 1: Yeah.
5:16
Speaker 6: I've been working on love Wellness for going on nine
5:19
Speaker 6: years now, which is just blows my mind. I don't
5:22
Speaker 6: think I've been able to commit that long to anything
5:24
Speaker 6: in my life.
5:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, that is a long time.
5:26
Speaker 6: I'm really passionate about women's wellness. And I started the
5:29
Speaker 6: company out of, you know, really my own need for
5:32
Speaker 6: better products in the healthcare space. And I really, to
5:37
Speaker 6: be honest with you, was determined not to be a
5:41
Speaker 6: reality television personality forever as my byline, and now I
5:45
Speaker 6: realize it probably just will be anyway, so whatever, I've
5:49
Speaker 6: kind of moved past that. But I think coming off
5:52
Speaker 6: that show, I had so much trauma. And I'm sure
5:55
Speaker 6: you talk to a lot of people who are on
5:56
Speaker 6: reality that have such traumatic experience is on it, And
6:01
Speaker 6: for a long time, in the early days of reality,
6:04
Speaker 6: those stories were not really validated. They were pushed to
6:07
Speaker 6: the side. It was like, well, you're famous, so like
6:09
Speaker 6: shut up about your feelings. But now I think there's
6:13
Speaker 6: a better understanding just how like manipulative and terrible those
6:19
Speaker 6: shows can be, you know, in people's psyche. And I
6:22
Speaker 6: started my business really as sort of a second chance
6:26
Speaker 6: in life to be honest with you, Like I had
6:28
Speaker 6: to get away from LA I moved to New York,
6:31
Speaker 6: and I really I really started my life over again.
6:33
Speaker 1: Wow.
6:34
Speaker 2: Yeah, And I had read too that you used sort
6:36
Speaker 2: of like the last bit of your earnings from the
6:38
Speaker 2: show to develop this product line and start the business.
6:42
Speaker 4: Right, that's so cool.
6:42
Speaker 1: I just want to say that our business is now
6:45
Speaker 1: worth I mean, you guys made it. I think I
6:46
Speaker 1: said one hundred million dollars this year right where it's
6:49
Speaker 1: valuated at one hundred million dollars.
6:52
Speaker 6: It's valuated or even that, but I we can't talk.
6:57
Speaker 6: We can't talk about our revenue yet for twenty two
7:00
Speaker 6: twenty four. But we're doing very well.
7:02
Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I just wanted to say it's very successful.
7:05
Speaker 1: So that's thing point we're trying to get across. Yeah,
7:07
Speaker 1: so tell us, Okay, give us your backstory, like what happened,
7:10
Speaker 1: what kind of like what was your issue that led
7:13
Speaker 1: you to discover and launch this kind of brand.
7:16
Speaker 6: So I was in a really terribly sad, emotionally abusive
7:23
Speaker 6: romantic relationship, and in that relationship, I was very depressed
7:28
Speaker 6: and very anxious, and I also had a whole host
7:31
Speaker 6: of women's health issues, urinary tract infections, yeast infections, and
7:34
Speaker 6: it was like chronic. I was just always sick. And
7:39
Speaker 6: there was really a tipping point for me though, where
7:41
Speaker 6: I was normal one day and then the next day,
7:43
Speaker 6: I was just not I was like lay on the
7:45
Speaker 6: floor depressed, like go home to my mommy for three
7:48
Speaker 6: months depressed kind of a thing. And I was going
7:51
Speaker 6: to the doctor over and over and over again and
7:54
Speaker 6: trying to advocate for myself and just being told that,
7:57
Speaker 6: you know, here's some prozac, you need to exercise more,
8:01
Speaker 6: drink more water, whatever, the typical medical gas lighting that
8:04
Speaker 6: I think a lot of women experience and have historically
8:07
Speaker 6: experienced in this country for a very long time. It
8:10
Speaker 6: wasn't until I was eighteen months into this health journey
8:15
Speaker 6: of trying to understand why I was okay one day
8:17
Speaker 6: and then so not okay kind of the overnight that
8:21
Speaker 6: my GP finally agreed to just to a blood panel
8:26
Speaker 6: and test my vitamin levels, like the most basic blood
8:28
Speaker 6: test you can do, and it came back as like deficient, deficient, deficient, deficient.
8:32
Speaker 6: It was overwhelming, but it was my very first data
8:35
Speaker 6: point that there was something physiologically wrong with me, and
8:38
Speaker 6: I wasn't making it up because I was being made
8:41
Speaker 6: to feel that I was just making all of this
8:43
Speaker 6: stuff up. And so with that first data point that
8:46
Speaker 6: I was dealing with these vitamin deficiencies, I actually had
8:49
Speaker 6: some information to go on, right, and then I kind
8:52
Speaker 6: of took that information to better doctors that were approaching
8:55
Speaker 6: healthcare from a more holistic point of view, which is
8:59
Speaker 6: I think because coming more popular in our health care
9:03
Speaker 6: system here, but you still have a lot of doctors
9:05
Speaker 6: very focused on their primary area that they focus on.
9:09
Speaker 6: And so I was looking for a gynecologist to say
9:13
Speaker 6: that could help me connect the dots better between vaginal
9:16
Speaker 6: health issues and gut health issues or the brain stuff
9:19
Speaker 6: that I was experiencing, and finally got a healthcare team
9:22
Speaker 6: in place that said, you know, I think that actually
9:25
Speaker 6: all of these things are connected. I think that you
9:27
Speaker 6: have a gut health issue because you are the antibiotic generation.
9:31
Speaker 6: I was born in nineteen eighty six. For every little thing,
9:33
Speaker 6: we took an antibiotics, antibiotics all the time.
9:37
Speaker 4: Yeah.
9:37
Speaker 6: We were raised on goldfish crackers from Costco, Like I
9:40
Speaker 6: love a goldfish cracker, and we have messed up gut
9:44
Speaker 6: microbiomes and as a result, we have vitamin deficiencies, we
9:50
Speaker 6: have anxiety and depression because of leaky gut and the
9:54
Speaker 6: connection between the gut and the brain and that blood
9:57
Speaker 6: brain barrier. And then from the gut to the vagina.
10:01
Speaker 6: We have gout dys biosis that results in vaginal health issues.
10:05
Speaker 6: Because the gut microbiome and the vaginal microbiome talk to
10:09
Speaker 6: each other, it's called quorum sensing. The gut bacteria literally
10:14
Speaker 6: tell your vagina bacteria, hey, like, we're in good health here,
10:17
Speaker 6: you should be in good health down there, or the inverse,
10:20
Speaker 6: which is crazy. And so I finally started to understand
10:23
Speaker 6: what was going on in my body. But this was
10:26
Speaker 6: like twenty fifteen. There was still a lot of emerging
10:28
Speaker 6: research on just the gut microbiome coming out, very little
10:32
Speaker 6: on the vaginal microbiome. That took kind of like the
10:35
Speaker 6: course of my business up until this point to get
10:38
Speaker 6: better understanding and research on women's microbiomes, but started to
10:42
Speaker 6: develop products based off of the holistic recommendations of some
10:46
Speaker 6: excellent doctors that were as simple as take a probiotic,
10:50
Speaker 6: use an intimate cleanser without fragrance. And it was these
10:53
Speaker 6: simple solutions that actually really made such a pivotal change
10:57
Speaker 6: in my health and allowed me to get better. And
11:00
Speaker 6: I decided I'm going to launch a business with a
11:02
Speaker 6: focus on these white space innovation types of products for
11:06
Speaker 6: women that really can fundamentally change the game for how
11:09
Speaker 6: we take care of our bodies at an accessible price
11:13
Speaker 6: point in everyday types of stores. Right, And it was
11:17
Speaker 6: twenty sixteen when I launched the company. It was right
11:19
Speaker 6: after the presidential election in twenty sixteen. And yeah, here.
11:24
Speaker 2: We are eight years later, many years later, in an
11:30
Speaker 2: interestingly similar place. I am curious about when you talk
11:33
Speaker 2: about leaky gut. So obviously you change the items that
11:36
Speaker 2: you were taking, the probiotics and that sort of thing.
11:38
Speaker 2: Did you do any sort of protocols to address leaky
11:41
Speaker 2: gut or anything like that?
11:43
Speaker 6: Yeah, So, you know, when I was kind of initially
11:46
Speaker 6: going through this discovery, my doctors thought, well, maybe you
11:50
Speaker 6: have some food intolerances things like that, and I certainly do.
11:55
Speaker 6: But I'm also a human and still sometimes eat through
11:58
Speaker 6: those things anyway. And the only way to really find
12:02
Speaker 6: out if you have a food allergy or an intolerance
12:05
Speaker 6: is to do a diet where you eliminate that thing
12:09
Speaker 6: from your diet for a significant period of time. And
12:12
Speaker 6: I did that with gluten. And I was pretty surprised
12:16
Speaker 6: when I reintroduced gluten how how negatively affected I was,
12:21
Speaker 6: because the reality is, if you're eating something that you
12:24
Speaker 6: have an intolerance to every single day over time, your
12:27
Speaker 6: reaction to it is not going to be very big.
12:31
Speaker 6: It's going to be kind of consistent. You kind of
12:33
Speaker 6: get to that like baseline kind of reaction. It's brain fog,
12:38
Speaker 6: it's bloating, whatever. But when I eliminated gluten from my
12:41
Speaker 6: diet and then reintroduced it, I like got vertigo, I
12:46
Speaker 6: got like horribly sick. I was like, oh my gosh,
12:49
Speaker 6: I really have a gluten problem. But yeah, elimination diets
12:52
Speaker 6: are really kind of the gold standard for understanding if
12:54
Speaker 6: you have some kind of foodish How.
12:56
Speaker 1: Long do you think it takes, like when you eliminate
12:58
Speaker 1: something like gluten, for you to actually feel the results
13:01
Speaker 1: of that, the impact.
13:02
Speaker 6: That it has on your body, the positive benefits. Yeah,
13:07
Speaker 6: I think within a week you probably start to feel
13:10
Speaker 6: the positive benefits of it. If you have a food
13:13
Speaker 6: intolerance to that thing. Do I think you get max
13:17
Speaker 6: benefits in a month? Maybe probably longer than that. I
13:21
Speaker 6: think if you've been eating something you have an intolerance
13:24
Speaker 6: to your entire life, it's going to take a while
13:26
Speaker 6: for your body to heal from all of that inflammation.
13:30
Speaker 1: Because I just feel like, is it everyone intolerant of
13:32
Speaker 1: I mean not intolerant, but kind of allergic gluten. Well,
13:35
Speaker 1: because we put of all the shit we put it
13:37
Speaker 1: in and put in this. When I eat bread in
13:39
Speaker 1: other countries, I.
13:39
Speaker 4: Don't have the specifically in the US.
13:41
Speaker 1: I think you're right, whose body that's along with that?
13:44
Speaker 2: Well, the thing is, what we use in the US
13:47
Speaker 2: has about like seven or eight times the gluten of
13:49
Speaker 2: the wheat that we evolved eating over ten thousand years,
13:53
Speaker 2: So our body is, oh, really it does. It was
13:55
Speaker 2: It's usually a GMO, and it was made to help
13:59
Speaker 2: feed the world.
14:00
Speaker 4: Like the scientists who created it was like, this is amazing.
14:02
Speaker 2: It's gonna help feed all these poor serving kids in
14:04
Speaker 2: these countries, and we're eating it here in the US.
14:07
Speaker 2: And that's why you go to like Italy or whatever.
14:09
Speaker 2: Like I don't have any reaction to gluten in Italy
14:11
Speaker 2: or France or any.
14:12
Speaker 4: Of those places.
14:13
Speaker 2: But here it's like I can eat Italian flower that
14:16
Speaker 2: I'm making here, you know, pasta or bread or whatever.
14:19
Speaker 4: I'm fine.
14:20
Speaker 2: The second I eat something that's like US bread flour,
14:23
Speaker 2: it's it's over for me.
14:24
Speaker 4: In about twenty minutes.
14:25
Speaker 6: Speak agriculture for you, Yeah.
14:27
Speaker 1: We're agrarians over here, Low, we're agrarians. I'm a government official, Yeah,
14:32
Speaker 1: for the agriculture Agricultural Department. Can you imagine so one
14:36
Speaker 1: said you have to get up and speak about that
14:38
Speaker 1: for an hour, I'd be like, you better give me
14:39
Speaker 1: a long hit stat so okay, and so then launching that,
14:44
Speaker 1: because I've tried. I've been in you know where you've
14:46
Speaker 1: tried to launch a business, and I just it is
14:49
Speaker 1: so fucking arduous to get something off the ground that
14:52
Speaker 1: anyone who's been able to do it successfully. I'm just
14:55
Speaker 1: in like awe.
14:56
Speaker 6: Of you know, I'm pretty relentless.
15:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, you sound like you really have your shit together.
15:02
Speaker 6: I really love the subject matter like I love biology,
15:06
Speaker 6: I love the human body. I am just fascinated by it.
15:10
Speaker 6: And I think if you get into any business and
15:13
Speaker 6: you really want to be in it for the long haul,
15:15
Speaker 6: you have to really love what you're doing. And I
15:19
Speaker 6: actually gave up the CEO role in my business last
15:23
Speaker 6: March or March of twenty twenty three so that I
15:27
Speaker 6: could focus on innovation, regulatory marketing, the stuff that I'm
15:32
Speaker 6: really really passionate about, because, to be honest with you,
15:35
Speaker 6: like the CEO job is a tough job. I was
15:39
Speaker 6: a CEO for the first seven years of my business
15:42
Speaker 6: and was able to successfully grow and guide that business
15:45
Speaker 6: as a first time founder and CEO to a you know,
15:48
Speaker 6: pretty significant size. I'm so proud of my accomplishment. But
15:52
Speaker 6: to really scale the business to be like a major
15:55
Speaker 6: player in Walmart and in Target, which are our retail partner,
16:00
Speaker 6: you have to have done that before and with success.
16:03
Speaker 6: It's really hard to walk into the room at Walmart,
16:06
Speaker 6: never having ever been there before and say like, trust
16:10
Speaker 6: me and I can deliver products on time, and like
16:13
Speaker 6: I know about all the margins and you know all
16:15
Speaker 6: the coupons and stuff you guys want to do No. No,
16:19
Speaker 6: Like being an owner or an operator of consumer brand
16:22
Speaker 6: means that you really have to have done it before,
16:25
Speaker 6: or you have to be willing to bring on a
16:28
Speaker 6: team that has done it before that can help you.
16:31
Speaker 6: And so that's where I'm really at now in terms
16:35
Speaker 6: of kind of my journey with the business. I don't
16:37
Speaker 6: have to do one on ones anymore, thank god, but
16:41
Speaker 6: I'm still really focused on all the product innovation and
16:44
Speaker 6: really a lot of regulatory work. We sit in a
16:46
Speaker 6: very interesting category in supplements and cosmetics that's not actually
16:51
Speaker 6: regulated by the FDA in terms of like ingredients or safety,
16:56
Speaker 6: really just in terms of claims. And there's like a
16:59
Speaker 6: big consumer misconception that the FDA is all over these
17:02
Speaker 6: products in terms of like safety and stuff, but they're not,
17:06
Speaker 6: and it's really on brands to do the self regulation.
17:10
Speaker 6: So that's one of my kind of missions is to
17:13
Speaker 6: make really clean, you know, efficacious products for women in
17:18
Speaker 6: a category of a lot of frankly just like bullshit,
17:23
Speaker 6: because a lot of brands will just sell you a
17:25
Speaker 6: gummy vitamin and say it works it's going to like
17:27
Speaker 6: solve all your problems when they won't.
17:29
Speaker 1: And how are you, as a consumer supposed to know
17:31
Speaker 1: which brands are full of shit and which brands aren't.
17:33
Speaker 6: It's so hard, It's it's truly so hard.
17:36
Speaker 1: It's like I'm not reading any of these fucking labels,
17:38
Speaker 1: you know what I mean, And I wouldn't even know
17:40
Speaker 1: what to be looking for.
17:41
Speaker 6: I just do so much challenge. Yeah, you know, a
17:45
Speaker 6: lot of brands now tout like, oh, like clinically studied ingredients,
17:48
Speaker 6: but like they don't actually have necessarily like the clinically
17:52
Speaker 6: proven amount of that ingredient.
17:54
Speaker 2: Air product or the formulation that works best, you know,
17:57
Speaker 2: even like co Q ten is something I started taking recently,
18:00
Speaker 2: and there's like five different kinds and like one is
18:02
Speaker 2: very accessible by your body, and like the rest are not.
18:04
Speaker 4: You know, you have to take way more. And it's
18:06
Speaker 4: sort of like on a basis.
18:08
Speaker 6: I think, you know, I want to believe that most
18:11
Speaker 6: brands are trying to do right by the consumer. What
18:15
Speaker 6: I will say is that.
18:16
Speaker 1: Well, don't assume that because they're not. I mean, I
18:20
Speaker 1: know that's not true.
18:21
Speaker 6: I know, but in this category, like, I want to
18:23
Speaker 6: believe that right. I want to believe that if a
18:27
Speaker 6: woman starts a business for women's health in her heart,
18:32
Speaker 6: she has good intentions in mind for her customer base. Yes,
18:36
Speaker 6: I don't think that that is always the case, and
18:39
Speaker 6: I can think of a few examples where that's specifically
18:42
Speaker 6: not the case. But I have to to just to
18:46
Speaker 6: be able to like get up and operate every single
18:48
Speaker 6: day and live in the earth that we're living in
18:51
Speaker 6: and have some hope about the innate goodness in people, you.
18:55
Speaker 7: Know what I mean.
18:56
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's called love Wellness dot Com for people who
18:58
Speaker 1: want to go and order stuff from her company because
19:01
Speaker 1: I like the idea of having your own health issues
19:04
Speaker 1: and then finding a solution, which is the impetus for
19:07
Speaker 1: starting a company. I think that's a very natural, kind
19:10
Speaker 1: of like linear thing to do. And I think you're
19:13
Speaker 1: right about female founders. I mean, I think for the
19:16
Speaker 1: most part, you know women's it's like it's we we're
19:19
Speaker 1: not handed anything. You have to actually, no, actively go
19:22
Speaker 1: and work probably twice as hard as a man to
19:25
Speaker 1: start a company to get to.
19:26
Speaker 6: Cardi B said ten times is hard the other day,
19:28
Speaker 6: and I thought, yes, Cardi B.
19:30
Speaker 1: She's always been better at math than I have. So
19:32
Speaker 1: we'll take her. I'll take whatever she says. Yeah. So
19:36
Speaker 1: what's happening with your personal life? You're not married, right?
19:39
Speaker 6: I have a fabulous partner, he's great, we live together rightly. Love.
19:46
Speaker 1: I love that you don't have kids.
19:48
Speaker 6: No, no, no, no.
19:49
Speaker 1: I can tell by the look on someone's face if
19:51
Speaker 1: they have children.
19:52
Speaker 6: I look so rested to you.
19:54
Speaker 1: Don is glowing.
19:56
Speaker 6: I'm kidding. No, we would love to have children, but
20:00
Speaker 6: not not yet. What I want to go back to,
20:03
Speaker 6: well maybe soon but maybe.
20:04
Speaker 1: Okay, okay, Well that's obviously a pregnancy announcement. It's not
20:10
Speaker 1: it's absolutely not leaky gut exactly. I hear a lot
20:13
Speaker 1: about leaky gut, but like what physicality does that take
20:16
Speaker 1: on in your body? Like what happens?
20:19
Speaker 4: I might I'll probably let Low take this, but it's
20:21
Speaker 4: a lot of inflammation and other stuff.
20:22
Speaker 1: Right, is something actually leaking from your gut?
20:25
Speaker 6: Yeah, So like think of it like when you eat
20:28
Speaker 6: food and imagine if in that food there was like
20:31
Speaker 6: some like weird bacteria or something like let's say you
20:34
Speaker 6: eat fish. Okay, I'm giving you like a very like
20:36
Speaker 6: basic example. Let's say that there's some like weird bacteria
20:40
Speaker 6: in the fish that you eat, and because you keep
20:42
Speaker 6: eating foods that are inflammatory to your body, your gut
20:46
Speaker 6: wall lining may have like tiny little gaps in it, right,
20:51
Speaker 6: and that like weird bad thing may be able to
20:53
Speaker 6: get through that gap, get into your blood stream and
20:56
Speaker 6: then go up to your brain and if it's small enough,
20:58
Speaker 6: penetrate the blood brain barrier and theoretically affect your brain health.
21:04
Speaker 6: And so that's like at the macro level the concept
21:07
Speaker 6: of leaky gut.
21:09
Speaker 1: You should be on Gray's anatomy. Low, she's very well, seriously,
21:14
Speaker 1: I mean that's actually great. I've been wondering what leaky
21:16
Speaker 1: gut is for a long time. By the way it sounds,
21:18
Speaker 1: I assumed it had something to do with your asshole,
21:20
Speaker 1: like that your asshole, that disaster. You know, it turns
21:25
Speaker 1: into a ship store.
21:26
Speaker 6: I mean, it could cause you to have like a
21:28
Speaker 6: lot of diarrhea and stomach upset if you have leaky gut,
21:31
Speaker 6: to be honest with you, because your probably your stomach
21:33
Speaker 6: is probably so inflame from all the weird stuff that
21:35
Speaker 6: your body like doesn't agree with or you're putting in
21:38
Speaker 6: all so.
21:38
Speaker 1: But it's just there's a lot of like vaginal health
21:41
Speaker 1: talk that we're having these days. When you know, you'd
21:44
Speaker 1: never think about how healthy your vagina is unless there's
21:47
Speaker 1: something wrong, unless there's an issue. It's not like you're like, oh.
21:50
Speaker 6: Well, I always like to tell the team. It's like
21:52
Speaker 6: when you don't notice anything, like, that's the ideal state, right, right,
21:57
Speaker 6: It's like when you don't know what's what's anything amiss,
22:00
Speaker 6: that's like where you want to be. That's the healthy state.
22:03
Speaker 6: What I think is cool about the vagina is that
22:06
Speaker 6: it's actually an immunity organ and very few people know
22:09
Speaker 6: that or think about it that way, but it is right,
22:13
Speaker 6: there's a lot of talk about vaginal pH levels. That's
22:16
Speaker 6: like very like you know that terminology is used a lot. Now.
22:20
Speaker 6: Vaginal pH is acidic because it protects you from overgrowth
22:24
Speaker 6: of bad bacteria or bad yeast or pathogens things like that,
22:28
Speaker 6: because like, guess what the vagina like is the entrance
22:31
Speaker 6: up into your uterus, right, Like it's your fertility kingdom
22:34
Speaker 6: up in there, and so your vagina is protecting you
22:38
Speaker 6: from bad things that come and invade. But the vagina
22:42
Speaker 6: is very smart. The vagina will attack things that are
22:45
Speaker 6: not self, right, like you know, a bad bacteria or
22:49
Speaker 6: you know a bad pathogen that like doesn't come from you,
22:52
Speaker 6: But it will not attack sperm. It knows that sperm
22:56
Speaker 6: is not self, but it knows that it's not bad.
22:59
Speaker 4: Is it interesting?
23:00
Speaker 6: It's like an organ, but it's a brain. Honestly, she's smart.
23:05
Speaker 1: She is. She sounds as smart as an elephant. I mean,
23:08
Speaker 1: how do you know who's welcome and who's not.
23:10
Speaker 6: She's smart.
23:11
Speaker 1: Although, then if the vagina were that smart, it should
23:13
Speaker 1: know that when they when someone's in danger and the
23:15
Speaker 1: sperm is coming to not let that sperm in. If
23:17
Speaker 1: it were really smart, it would fend off like rapists
23:20
Speaker 1: and you know, all the bad guys sperm.
23:23
Speaker 6: I wouldn't that be just yeah, that would do a
23:26
Speaker 6: dreamy a dreamy scenario.
23:28
Speaker 2: I think there's some Republican senators who do think that
23:30
Speaker 2: that happens, which is a problem.
23:31
Speaker 1: But yeah, well, Vagina's only going to get smarter as
23:36
Speaker 1: we move on. Guys, it's evolution. People are getting smarter,
23:39
Speaker 1: not dumber, although some people are really stupid. Yeah, okay,
23:43
Speaker 1: we're going to take a break on that note and
23:46
Speaker 1: get rid of all the stupid people and we'll be
23:48
Speaker 1: right back and we're back with less stupid people and
23:55
Speaker 1: with low bosworth. Okay, we are. We're going to take
23:58
Speaker 1: some questions and some callers lower. Are you ready for
24:00
Speaker 1: some action?
24:01
Speaker 6: I'm ready, I'm ready. Yes, I'm excited.
24:04
Speaker 2: Well, our first question, this one's just an email, so
24:07
Speaker 2: she won't be joining us. But this question comes from Annie.
24:10
Speaker 2: Annie says, Dear Chelsea. I've been a fan and listener
24:13
Speaker 2: from the start. I'm a psychologist who primarily administers intellectual
24:17
Speaker 2: and personality assessments.
24:19
Speaker 4: A few years ago.
24:20
Speaker 2: I was unfortunately in an abusive relationship and experienced a
24:23
Speaker 2: traumatic brain injury, also known as a TBI. As a
24:27
Speaker 2: result of that injury, I have a diagnosis of aphasia.
24:30
Speaker 2: In my case, it's a wall between my formerly large
24:33
Speaker 2: vocabulary similar to yours, and my ability to access it
24:37
Speaker 2: as necessary during quick communication. My question is, can you
24:41
Speaker 2: give me some of the tips you discuss on the
24:42
Speaker 2: podcast that you use to continually increase your vocabulary? Also
24:46
Speaker 2: any advice on how to manage the anxiety that comes
24:49
Speaker 2: at work and increases the severity of my ability to
24:52
Speaker 2: access my vocabulary forever one of your biggest fans and supporters, Annie.
24:57
Speaker 1: First of all, I want to say one thing. Accessing
24:59
Speaker 1: your vocabulary and having a phasia, you have to understand
25:04
Speaker 1: that it's okay not to have to use sophisticated words
25:07
Speaker 1: all the time. It's okay to communicate like your main
25:10
Speaker 1: goal is to relay something a thought or a message
25:12
Speaker 1: or whatever. So just do that in the simplest way
25:15
Speaker 1: without putting pressure on yourself to remember the bigger words
25:18
Speaker 1: to do that that's not necessary right now in the meantime,
25:22
Speaker 1: what you can do, and what I always do is
25:24
Speaker 1: I always have vocab words. I have word of the
25:27
Speaker 1: day dictionary, you know things I get a million words
25:29
Speaker 1: of the day, I always print them out, have them laminated.
25:33
Speaker 1: I collect them, like if I there's twenty new words,
25:35
Speaker 1: I put them out and put them in a laminated
25:37
Speaker 1: sheet and put them in my closet or put them
25:39
Speaker 1: on your fridge, so that you're seeing them every single day.
25:41
Speaker 1: And I guarantee you you will start to imprint new
25:44
Speaker 1: words into your vocabulary, and then you're gonna have a
25:46
Speaker 1: whole new slew of words. And some of those words
25:48
Speaker 1: that you already know will be repeated, but you're cementing
25:51
Speaker 1: them in your brain in a visual way, and that
25:53
Speaker 1: lends itself to memorizing things more easily, even if you
25:56
Speaker 1: are dealing with aphasia.
25:58
Speaker 2: Yeah and lo, I know you had a traumatic brain
26:00
Speaker 2: injury a few years ago.
26:02
Speaker 6: Is this question calus some tailor for me?
26:04
Speaker 1: Yes, well, we do do that.
26:07
Speaker 6: I know you're like an English teacher, like posting up
26:10
Speaker 6: your words.
26:11
Speaker 1: I love it. It's all I've got.
26:13
Speaker 6: I had a traumatic brain injury in twenty nineteen. I
26:16
Speaker 6: was at a restaurant in Manhattan and one of the
26:19
Speaker 6: swinging kitchen doors came off its hinge and fell onto
26:21
Speaker 6: my head. And it was pretty brutal, and I dealt
26:26
Speaker 6: with some loss of vocabulary for a period of time.
26:30
Speaker 6: I think that I have mostly recovered, but sometimes it
26:33
Speaker 6: still happens to me where I can't come up with
26:36
Speaker 6: the word and it's it's really really tough. What I
26:40
Speaker 6: would say is that brain exercises really helped me. Whether
26:44
Speaker 6: it's brain games, it could be as simple as dedicating
26:48
Speaker 6: yourself to twenty minutes of reading a book every single night,
26:53
Speaker 6: just to kind of activate your brain again to be
26:55
Speaker 6: reading and understanding just language in general. But I would
27:00
Speaker 6: give yourself just as much physical rest as you can
27:05
Speaker 6: in the time that you can right really focus on sleep.
27:09
Speaker 6: We know that as women, we need more sleep than men.
27:13
Speaker 6: And one of the things that my doctors recommended for
27:15
Speaker 6: me while I was going through my TBI recovery was
27:19
Speaker 6: to really avoid inflam foods because inflammatory foods can cause
27:24
Speaker 6: even more brain fog, and I think it can probably
27:28
Speaker 6: make the aphasia that she's talking about even worse. I
27:32
Speaker 6: notice for myself when I eat a bunch of gluten,
27:35
Speaker 6: I really struggle with my vocabulary, really struggle to find
27:39
Speaker 6: the words that I'm looking for. And when I eat
27:41
Speaker 6: a cleaner diet that doesn't seem to be as big
27:43
Speaker 6: of a deal for me. I'm also going to go
27:46
Speaker 6: down the peptides Injectavle's rabbit hole right now into something
27:52
Speaker 6: called BP seven one five seven. I take that in
27:56
Speaker 6: PC BPC BPC, thank you BP you see one five
28:01
Speaker 6: seven right? Yeah, And this has actually started to be
28:05
Speaker 6: recommended for people who have brain issues. It is a
28:10
Speaker 6: gastric acid. I think that supposedly can help with like
28:15
Speaker 6: brain lesions and things like that, So I would look
28:18
Speaker 6: into that. It's supposed to be like a crazy like
28:21
Speaker 6: healer type of peptide. It is on I think the
28:26
Speaker 6: list of Worldwide Band substances for doping. So I hope
28:31
Speaker 6: that you're not.
28:32
Speaker 1: A can't be a professional athlete and take it, but
28:34
Speaker 1: it can't be a professional athlete and take it, but
28:37
Speaker 1: the general.
28:37
Speaker 6: Population can take it and it may.
28:40
Speaker 1: Help, and yeah, it may help. And and also that also
28:43
Speaker 1: helps with like physical recovery and injuries, Like I injected
28:47
Speaker 1: into my knee area all the time, especially when I'm skiing,
28:50
Speaker 1: because it helps like kind of heal whatever your issues are.
28:55
Speaker 1: The other thing I wanted to say what Logs touched
28:57
Speaker 1: upon though, is that your diet at the correlation between
29:00
Speaker 1: you put in your body and your mental alacrity is
29:03
Speaker 1: scientifically proven. So like I know, if I'm about to
29:07
Speaker 1: do some event, like if I'm gonna do this podcast,
29:10
Speaker 1: I don't eat before I do that because my mind
29:13
Speaker 1: isn't as sharp. Your mind will always be sharp. When
29:15
Speaker 1: you're a slightly hungry, it'll be sharper. You know, when
29:18
Speaker 1: you're full and you feel tired and you're not digesting things, well,
29:21
Speaker 1: that's when you start to get lazy and you feel
29:23
Speaker 1: less kind of vibrant. So just be mindful of that.
29:26
Speaker 1: And you know, when you eat, don't overeat because that
29:29
Speaker 1: puts you into like then you spike your blood sugar
29:32
Speaker 1: and then you go high and then you crash. So
29:34
Speaker 1: you have to be really mindful of your diet, especially
29:36
Speaker 1: when you're talking about these kinds of issues. It's like
29:38
Speaker 1: we're doctor Phil and doctor Great.
29:41
Speaker 8: Great.
29:42
Speaker 1: I feel like where you have like a doctor, this
29:44
Speaker 1: is like two doctors. We're like two really medically advanced laymen.
29:48
Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, yes, BBC one.
29:52
Speaker 2: Okay, So our next question comes from Cynthia, and she
29:55
Speaker 2: will be joining us on the phone here in a moment.
29:58
Speaker 2: She says, Dear Chelsea, I'm a thirty nine year old
30:01
Speaker 2: woman living in Brooklyn, New York. With my beautiful girlfriend
30:03
Speaker 2: of four years now, my fiance. I have a great job.
30:07
Speaker 2: I love my fiancee to pieces. I'm not the most
30:09
Speaker 2: social person and I don't have many friends, if any
30:11
Speaker 2: at all. I consider myself an intelligent person, and I've
30:15
Speaker 2: been in therapy for many years on and off to
30:17
Speaker 2: help me cope with childhood trauma. I think the root
30:19
Speaker 2: of my depression, or maybe the consequence of it, is
30:22
Speaker 2: I have zero motivation. I don't have the willpower to exercise.
30:26
Speaker 2: I have a pretty shitty diet, and I basically just
30:28
Speaker 2: work to come home to do the same cycle the
30:30
Speaker 2: next day. I know that diet and exercise is a
30:33
Speaker 2: huge factor for bettering myself mentally and physically, but I
30:36
Speaker 2: just can't seem to find the energy or motivation to
30:38
Speaker 2: get up and do all the things I probably should
30:40
Speaker 2: to make myself feel better. I used to be on
30:42
Speaker 2: antidepressants and anti anxiety meds, but stopped them on my
30:46
Speaker 2: doctor's advice, because it withered my sex drive down to nothing.
30:49
Speaker 2: I've been off my meds for a couple months now,
30:51
Speaker 2: and I've been feeling the ups and downs of that.
30:53
Speaker 2: I'm consumed with shame and guilt at the fact that
30:56
Speaker 2: I know exactly what I have to do, but the
30:58
Speaker 2: fuck it in my brain is much stronger than any
31:00
Speaker 2: of those thoughts. I've talked to a doctor and they
31:02
Speaker 2: tell me I just need to push myself. But how
31:05
Speaker 2: I've had times in my life where I did have motivation,
31:07
Speaker 2: like in my twenties, and I'd get up an exercise
31:09
Speaker 2: and eat a healthier diet. But I feel like that
31:12
Speaker 2: part of me is just not alive anymore. My fiance
31:14
Speaker 2: also struggles with the same lack of motivation I do,
31:17
Speaker 2: so it seems like we enable each other. How can
31:19
Speaker 2: I spark some much needed motivation. I'm tired of being tired. Cynthia.
31:24
Speaker 1: Hi Cynthia, Hlsea Carin Hi.
31:28
Speaker 6: Hi.
31:28
Speaker 1: This is our special guest, Low Bosworth. She's here today.
31:31
Speaker 1: Hi trys Cynthia.
31:34
Speaker 6: Who's going to go first?
31:35
Speaker 1: Because I have an ada, I think you should go first.
31:37
Speaker 6: Okay, Cynthia. Have you ever tried meditation because it because
31:42
Speaker 6: it requires no physical exercise and no dieting. I haven't no,
31:48
Speaker 6: So meditation is really cool because it creates new neural
31:54
Speaker 6: pathways in the brain. And creating new neural pathways in
32:00
Speaker 6: the brain allows you to create new habits, new hobbies,
32:05
Speaker 6: new interests, because I think what you may be experiencing
32:10
Speaker 6: is something that a lot of us are experiencing right now,
32:14
Speaker 6: which is kind of this like freeze mode in reaction
32:18
Speaker 6: to potentially the stress of the times we're living in
32:23
Speaker 6: or whatever.
32:23
Speaker 1: It may be.
32:24
Speaker 6: Right, I think that there's not a ton of hope
32:27
Speaker 6: right now, and so I think one of the ways
32:30
Speaker 6: to think about from an actual like neurochemical neuroplasticity point
32:36
Speaker 6: of view is how can I create neural pathways to
32:40
Speaker 6: change how my brain is behaving, and then I can
32:44
Speaker 6: change how my body is behaving, right, my behavior can follow.
32:49
Speaker 6: And so I've been doing something called transcendental meditation off
32:53
Speaker 6: and on for almost ten years, and it's a tool
32:55
Speaker 6: in my toolbox that I use when I'm feeling really
32:59
Speaker 6: anxious or really depressed. And after like five or six
33:03
Speaker 6: days between transcendental meditation, I wake up and I actually
33:07
Speaker 6: feel different and I'm actually inspired to like go do
33:11
Speaker 6: things differently in my day. So that would be my
33:15
Speaker 6: immediate go to suggestion. I think outside of just acknowledging
33:20
Speaker 6: that we live in some really weird times, and I
33:22
Speaker 6: think what you are describing is to a certain degree
33:25
Speaker 6: the human condition and we all feel this way from
33:28
Speaker 6: time to time.
33:29
Speaker 1: Okay, okay, that is good advice, and I always endorse
33:35
Speaker 1: a spouse meditation. But you and your partner are in
33:38
Speaker 1: a like a funk together, so out of love, Like,
33:42
Speaker 1: if you can't do it for yourself, then you need
33:46
Speaker 1: to be doing it for her. You guys have to
33:48
Speaker 1: get on a different fucking program and you have to
33:50
Speaker 1: write down what your goals are. I want you guys
33:53
Speaker 1: to sit down together tonight and write down what you
33:56
Speaker 1: want to be accomplishing in a month. Exercise whyle and
34:00
Speaker 1: diet wise and meditation wise. So now you have like
34:03
Speaker 1: three tasks that you have to be mindful of every
34:05
Speaker 1: single day. And you need to be accountable to each other.
34:08
Speaker 1: And when she's weak, you need to be a little
34:11
Speaker 1: bit stronger. And when she and when you're weak, she's
34:13
Speaker 1: gonna have to pick it up too, because you guys
34:15
Speaker 1: are kind of commiserating together. And until you break this pattern,
34:20
Speaker 1: you're not gonna You're gonna be stuck in this pattern.
34:22
Speaker 1: And you want to be healthy and strong. Yes, when
34:26
Speaker 1: you don't do anything for long periods of time, you
34:28
Speaker 1: become less inclined to want to do those things. But
34:31
Speaker 1: the minute you say, today, we're gonna go for a
34:33
Speaker 1: fifteen minute walk together. Fifteen minutes you can do that together. Yeah,
34:38
Speaker 1: and you're gonna feel the benefit of that when you
34:39
Speaker 1: get back. You might be annoyed and like h but
34:42
Speaker 1: you're just gonna do that every day for one week
34:44
Speaker 1: from now. Fifteen minutes of exercise together. The two of
34:47
Speaker 1: you have to do together if you can, can you yeah,
34:51
Speaker 1: I think we can. Yeah, that's nothing, okay. And then
34:54
Speaker 1: you can download a meditation app, any of them. You can.
34:57
Speaker 1: I do Chopra, which is called Presence. They just change
35:00
Speaker 1: name of it, but start with an app because those
35:02
Speaker 1: are easier. There's ten percent happier. There's head space space.
35:07
Speaker 1: Headspace is really user beginner friendly. Download Headspace. Do that.
35:12
Speaker 1: Headspace is a good And you guys can meditate together.
35:14
Speaker 1: That's an even more powerful vibration to create. It's two
35:17
Speaker 1: people meditating together, two people that love each other, like
35:21
Speaker 1: you're doing this together. This is a team. Now you're
35:24
Speaker 1: on a team with your partner, and you're gonna put
35:26
Speaker 1: fifteen minutes a day towards exercise. You're gonna do five
35:29
Speaker 1: minutes a day to begin with of meditation, and you're
35:33
Speaker 1: gonna be mindful of what you eat. Doesn't mean you
35:35
Speaker 1: have to change your entire life, but just start to
35:38
Speaker 1: make little healthier choices.
35:40
Speaker 2: One thing that's really helped me is the addition of
35:43
Speaker 2: healthy choices, especially when you're just starting out. It's like
35:45
Speaker 2: adding in a little fresh fruit, adding in a fresh salad,
35:48
Speaker 2: like something that's really manageable and easy, and like, you
35:51
Speaker 2: start to crave that stuff even more.
35:54
Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely, instead of French fries, get a salad instead
35:58
Speaker 1: of whatever, just those things. It doesn't sound appealing, I understand,
36:03
Speaker 1: But once you start to practice these things, you're going
36:06
Speaker 1: to create all of those neural pathways that she's talking about,
36:09
Speaker 1: and you're going to start to crave the goodness and
36:12
Speaker 1: the like. You're going to start to crave to move
36:14
Speaker 1: your body for fifteen minutes. You just have to commit
36:17
Speaker 1: on the lowest level. And then also, I think what
36:19
Speaker 1: you should do is write down at the end of
36:22
Speaker 1: the day, how you felt about all of the stuff
36:24
Speaker 1: you did. How did I feel about the exercise, How
36:26
Speaker 1: did you feel after you exercise good, bad, exhausted, whatever?
36:30
Speaker 1: How did you feel after you made a healthier choice
36:32
Speaker 1: with your food?
36:32
Speaker 3: Good?
36:32
Speaker 1: Bad, great, didn't matter to have no impact. Write that
36:36
Speaker 1: down for a week, and I promise you will start
36:38
Speaker 1: to see benefits and you're going to start to feel differently.
36:40
Speaker 1: Your lack of motivation is feeding itself, right, so now
36:45
Speaker 1: you have to feed it something else.
36:48
Speaker 4: I have a question for you too. Is there a
36:50
Speaker 4: room for a dog in your life?
36:53
Speaker 1: You know right now?
36:55
Speaker 9: No, we have a small apartment like super you know,
36:59
Speaker 9: I'm saying, are going to be cool with it, but
37:01
Speaker 9: we are planning to move eventually and definitely want to
37:06
Speaker 9: get a dog.
37:07
Speaker 4: Yeah.
37:07
Speaker 2: I think that is such a helpful tool in getting
37:10
Speaker 2: you to the movement more because you're just like, I'm
37:12
Speaker 2: out with my dog, I'm listening to a podcast. Maybe
37:14
Speaker 2: I'm having a good time. I want to go on
37:16
Speaker 2: extra block.
37:17
Speaker 4: Like it just helps so much getting you out and about.
37:19
Speaker 1: Yeah, and being outdoors at all, whether it's nice, ugly, cold, gray,
37:24
Speaker 1: is good for your system. That's good for your immuniony system,
37:27
Speaker 1: It's good for your energy. Like you have to feed
37:29
Speaker 1: yourself of medicine because you're depriving yourself of all of
37:32
Speaker 1: the things that life has to offer. Everything's here for you,
37:35
Speaker 1: and you're choosing to not you know what I mean,
37:38
Speaker 1: you got to like step it up a little bit.
37:40
Speaker 1: And on the medication front, also, is your sex drive
37:44
Speaker 1: better without the medication? It hasn't.
37:47
Speaker 9: I mean it's only been about three months and I'm
37:50
Speaker 9: just like waiting around to see what's gonna happen, and
37:53
Speaker 9: I'm still kind of at a lull.
37:55
Speaker 1: Okay, So then maybe you do need the medication. Like
37:58
Speaker 1: with the medication making you not sex too.
38:01
Speaker 9: Yeah, I think that it contributed to me not having
38:04
Speaker 9: any kind of sex drive, and my doctors agreed that
38:07
Speaker 9: that does usually happen on anti anxiety meds or antidepressants
38:11
Speaker 9: of certain kinds.
38:13
Speaker 1: Okay, So I think what you should do is do
38:15
Speaker 1: this this prescription that I've given you for the next
38:18
Speaker 1: four weeks. Okay, do that and see if your mood changes,
38:22
Speaker 1: and if that at that point it doesn't, I want
38:24
Speaker 1: you to call us back, Okay, But you guys have
38:26
Speaker 1: to do this every day together. You have to commit
38:28
Speaker 1: to it.
38:29
Speaker 3: Yeah.
38:29
Speaker 2: And I love what you say about like starting small.
38:31
Speaker 2: I think, like it's not new advice, but it is
38:33
Speaker 2: the best advice, like, because you do get the ball
38:36
Speaker 2: rolling when you start.
38:37
Speaker 1: Yeah, you just got to pick up, like you made
38:38
Speaker 1: this call. You're calling in because you want to change
38:41
Speaker 1: your life. Yeah, and now you have the opportunity to
38:43
Speaker 1: change your life. I just told you the simplest things
38:45
Speaker 1: to do. They're totally accomplishable, regardless of what happens in
38:49
Speaker 1: our atmosphere, what's happening right now, that has no impact,
38:53
Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Just I want you to
38:55
Speaker 1: move forward caring about your body and caring about your
38:58
Speaker 1: partner's body.
39:00
Speaker 2: So I wanted to ask, too, are there any supplements
39:02
Speaker 2: that you would recommend as far as sexual wellness and
39:05
Speaker 2: increasing libido or anything like that, especially for women.
39:08
Speaker 6: I think, honestly, I think a great multi vitamin is
39:12
Speaker 6: just a good place to start. We make a great
39:14
Speaker 6: one at Love Wellness. Not to toot our own.
39:16
Speaker 1: Hornbag, go go to lovewllness dot com and pick up
39:22
Speaker 1: a multi vitamin. That's always good. Everyone needs fucking vitamins.
39:26
Speaker 6: There are some libido supplements out there that you can try,
39:29
Speaker 6: but I think just in general, there are some like
39:32
Speaker 6: classic herbs that support women's health that are actually found
39:36
Speaker 6: in our multi vitamin as kind of herbal add ons
39:39
Speaker 6: like Ashwagonda, Chaste tree, Saint John's wort et cetera. But
39:44
Speaker 6: a good multi vitamin can really help with hormone balance,
39:49
Speaker 6: It can help with some of the neurological stuff that
39:51
Speaker 6: you're talking about. Ninety percent of Americans have vitamin deficiencies,
39:56
Speaker 6: most of them are vitamin B and vitamin D, and
39:58
Speaker 6: that can actually lead to a lot of depression and anxiety.
40:01
Speaker 6: I dealt with that myself, So I think, you know,
40:04
Speaker 6: in addition, probably just a routine trip to the doctor,
40:07
Speaker 6: you know, could be in order just to take like
40:10
Speaker 6: a deeper look under the hood. I'm not sure of
40:13
Speaker 6: your age, and I won't ask, but you know, there's
40:16
Speaker 6: even the possibility that you could be experiencing some paramenopause symptoms,
40:21
Speaker 6: which you know, like maybe a factor here. I don't know,
40:24
Speaker 6: but perimenopause can start in women at age thirty five,
40:27
Speaker 6: which is something that is like really not talked about.
40:30
Speaker 6: And so yeah, I think the team here has some
40:32
Speaker 6: really good suggestions. And I think I heard you live
40:35
Speaker 6: in Brooklyn. You probably are doing good things for yourself
40:39
Speaker 6: already and you're just like not noticing it. Like you're
40:42
Speaker 6: a New Yorker. I live in New York too, Like
40:43
Speaker 6: we walk a lot everywhere every single day. You know
40:46
Speaker 6: what I mean. So that first week that you're taking
40:49
Speaker 6: a journal, like write down all the things that you're doing,
40:52
Speaker 6: Like yes, like go above and beyond and take that
40:55
Speaker 6: fifteen minute walk. But I suspect that, like you're already
40:58
Speaker 6: doing some things every year day that you can feel
41:01
Speaker 6: proud about, and you are stuck in kind of this
41:05
Speaker 6: like negative self talk environment. And yeah, I think remembering
41:12
Speaker 6: that you want to do it for your partner and
41:13
Speaker 6: that you love them and that you need to be
41:15
Speaker 6: accountable to them and for them is a really helpful
41:19
Speaker 6: part of it. Also, you know, it's like whenever my
41:22
Speaker 6: boyfriend is having a bad day, like that's when I'm
41:25
Speaker 6: really able to like jump into superhero mode. You know.
41:29
Speaker 6: It's like, oh you need me, I can do that
41:31
Speaker 6: for you.
41:32
Speaker 7: You know.
41:33
Speaker 6: And so playing that role for each other I think
41:34
Speaker 6: can be really powerful.
41:36
Speaker 1: Gotcha, And it's going to put a pep in your step.
41:39
Speaker 1: I promise you. All of these little micro things are
41:41
Speaker 1: going to add up together and the sum of its
41:44
Speaker 1: parts are going to add to your life.
41:46
Speaker 6: Okay, I hope we haven't overwhelmed you. You can do it.
41:50
Speaker 9: No, No, it's not overwhelming at all.
41:52
Speaker 1: Check in with us again.
41:53
Speaker 2: Yeah, check in with us and maybe we'll have you
41:55
Speaker 2: up on a couples counseling episode with your partner.
41:57
Speaker 6: Yeah.
41:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's fun. We could do a follow up with
41:59
Speaker 1: your part and see how you guys are after a month.
42:02
Speaker 1: That would be amazing. Yeah, and then we can take
42:04
Speaker 1: it even further.
42:06
Speaker 6: Cool.
42:06
Speaker 4: All right, thank you, Cynthia. We'll talk to you soon.
42:09
Speaker 1: Okay, so much, thank you, Bye bye bye.
42:13
Speaker 4: All right. Our next question comes from Aspen.
42:17
Speaker 1: Aspin, Colorado. Oh, she lives in North Carolina, but her
42:22
Speaker 1: name is Aspin.
42:24
Speaker 4: Maybe that's where she was conceived.
42:26
Speaker 2: Who knows, Dear Chelsea, I turned thirty this year, and
42:29
Speaker 2: I've been at my job for ten years. I'm a
42:31
Speaker 2: hairdresser at an amazing salon who supports me in every
42:34
Speaker 2: way possible. The issue I'm facing is I had five
42:37
Speaker 2: and ten year goals and I've mostly hit all of them,
42:40
Speaker 2: even having a whoopsidoodle baby along the way. I can't
42:43
Speaker 2: help but feel that now I'm where I want to be.
42:45
Speaker 2: I'm really restless. I'm very driven, I'm a dream chaser,
42:49
Speaker 2: but I feel like I've fallen into a very uncharacteristic slump.
42:52
Speaker 2: I absolutely adore my job and I do dream of
42:55
Speaker 2: bigger and better things, but I have such a hard
42:57
Speaker 2: time figuring out what the hell that means. Basically, what
43:00
Speaker 2: I'm asking is, have you ever been in a career
43:02
Speaker 2: plettau and how did you get the clarity for your
43:04
Speaker 2: next big dream? Thank you, aspen As.
43:08
Speaker 4: You look incredible.
43:10
Speaker 8: Thank you. I thought today it was a great day
43:12
Speaker 8: to wear a pink power suit.
43:13
Speaker 1: You're correct, excellent, excellent, this is our your outfit, you
43:17
Speaker 1: look great. This is our special guest, Low Bosworth.
43:20
Speaker 8: Hi, Hi, I've been a fan for a long time too.
43:22
Speaker 8: This is wild.
43:23
Speaker 6: Oh thanks, that's so nice. It's nice to meet you.
43:25
Speaker 8: Nice to meet you, too, Low.
43:27
Speaker 1: Did you want to go first since you're such a
43:29
Speaker 1: power top. Yeah.
43:31
Speaker 6: Honestly, I think sometimes it's okay to be in a slump.
43:35
Speaker 6: Here's how I think about it. I think that you
43:38
Speaker 6: could go too hard on being so good at stuff
43:40
Speaker 6: and too hard at like doing nothing and being lazy.
43:44
Speaker 6: I think that when I talk about balance, that's what
43:48
Speaker 6: I mean. Like I working on fertility stuff for myself
43:51
Speaker 6: right now. I'm taking so many fucking supplements every night
43:53
Speaker 6: and doing all this stuff. And I decided the other night,
43:57
Speaker 6: like I had it I needed to go out and
43:58
Speaker 6: have a drink, and I realized we're talking about your
44:00
Speaker 6: career and not like your wellness personal life. But I'm
44:03
Speaker 6: just trying to create that parallel, right, is that, like,
44:08
Speaker 6: you can take a break from being a boss bitch
44:11
Speaker 6: if you want to. There is a lot of good
44:15
Speaker 6: in taking a break, in letting it coast, in letting
44:18
Speaker 6: it ride for a little while. You can accomplish a
44:21
Speaker 6: lot of personal goals.
44:23
Speaker 1: Right.
44:23
Speaker 6: You can get a lot of sleep, you can drink
44:25
Speaker 6: that cocktail that you're drinking, right. And so I didn't
44:29
Speaker 6: expect this to be the advice that tumbled out of
44:32
Speaker 6: my mouth, especially on this podcast or we're like girls, yeah, entrepreneurs, Yeah,
44:37
Speaker 6: but like my god, it's exhausting to always try to
44:41
Speaker 6: be the best and to always try to do the
44:43
Speaker 6: right thing. And so maybe you take this moment as
44:47
Speaker 6: a time for rest and self reflection and when your
44:51
Speaker 6: body and mind are ready, it will come to you.
44:55
Speaker 6: Perhaps your body and mind are not ready.
44:57
Speaker 7: He I mean that definitely all resonates for where it's
45:00
Speaker 7: exhausting always feeling like you have to be the best.
45:04
Speaker 8: I mean, I feel like it's helpful in a lot
45:05
Speaker 8: of ways.
45:06
Speaker 7: And it's helped me get as far as I have,
45:08
Speaker 7: like having such a high standard, but at the same time,
45:10
Speaker 7: like it's hard to keep that going, you know.
45:12
Speaker 1: It's hard to keep that going. And also when you're
45:15
Speaker 1: really good at multiple things in life, there is such
45:20
Speaker 1: truth to what Loja said, like sometimes you have to
45:24
Speaker 1: chill out to let the mood strike you, like when
45:27
Speaker 1: you're in search of the next job, the next project,
45:30
Speaker 1: like that aggressively, sometimes you're kind of almost creating a
45:35
Speaker 1: blockade towards that goal, you know, because you're putting so
45:38
Speaker 1: much pressure on yourself. Like there is something to be
45:42
Speaker 1: said for enjoying the moment that you're in because you're
45:45
Speaker 1: not struggling right now, and you might be in a
45:49
Speaker 1: little bit of a plateau, as you say, but out
45:52
Speaker 1: of plateaus, things rise up, you know what I mean.
45:55
Speaker 1: So enjoy this time because you may not have a
45:58
Speaker 1: quiet time like this moving forward. And I wouldn't put
46:01
Speaker 1: so much pressure on I have to come up with
46:03
Speaker 1: this next thing. What is the next thing? I'm too
46:05
Speaker 1: productive and too smart to not be this productive. That
46:09
Speaker 1: is kind of like, you know, almost a negative self
46:12
Speaker 1: talk cycle as well. So I would say, enjoy the
46:16
Speaker 1: time that you're having, You're in control of your situation.
46:19
Speaker 1: Things seem to be under control, right.
46:21
Speaker 7: I'm definitely maybe two in control of my situation sometimes honestly, Yeah.
46:25
Speaker 1: Well tell us about that, I mean expand Yeah.
46:29
Speaker 7: So I've always had like a very clear idea since
46:31
Speaker 7: i was really young of exactly what I wanted to do.
46:33
Speaker 7: I went to school for it, I did it. I
46:36
Speaker 7: became really successful at a really young age. I mean
46:38
Speaker 7: I'm only thirty now and I've been at my salon
46:40
Speaker 7: for ten years, which is kind of wild, and I've
46:43
Speaker 7: gotten to the top of the salon and I think, yeah,
46:45
Speaker 7: like I said, I had all those goals. I'm and
46:47
Speaker 7: I was so meticulous about every day, this number I
46:51
Speaker 7: hit every month, this number I hit every year, at
46:53
Speaker 7: this number I hit every like just kind of.
46:56
Speaker 8: Obsessed with it. And I've been so obsessed with it.
46:59
Speaker 7: I think being control of my own career and my
47:02
Speaker 7: own pathway that now that I've kind of gotten to that,
47:05
Speaker 7: you know, goal that I had. The not having control
47:08
Speaker 7: of it anymore is I think a little bit terrifying
47:10
Speaker 7: because I'm like, wait, now I don't have control of
47:12
Speaker 7: the future, because I don't know what the fuck the
47:13
Speaker 7: future is.
47:14
Speaker 1: And do you have anything that you're thinking about doing next.
47:18
Speaker 7: I mean, that's what I was saying too, is I
47:19
Speaker 7: absolutely love what I do, but I can't help to
47:22
Speaker 7: like I do still feel like I had this like pit,
47:25
Speaker 7: like this feeling in my stomach of like I'm not
47:27
Speaker 7: fulfilling my full potential, Like I feel like I might
47:30
Speaker 7: have more to offer the world than I'm currently offering it.
47:33
Speaker 1: That makes sense, and if that's true, that will come
47:36
Speaker 1: to you in a natural way. I think you sound
47:40
Speaker 1: very controlling, you know what I mean, Like you're you're
47:42
Speaker 1: a control freak of your own life. I mean, who
47:44
Speaker 1: most people are. So that's fine, But I think this
47:47
Speaker 1: is actually a good lesson that you're calling in to
47:49
Speaker 1: talk to us, and we're telling you both to just
47:51
Speaker 1: we're both telling you just to chill out, chill out
47:54
Speaker 1: and like allow ideas to come your way. And I'm
47:57
Speaker 1: sure whatever it is will naturally organically appear in your
48:00
Speaker 1: life once you stop looking so hard for it. It's
48:03
Speaker 1: like trying to find a boyfriend.
48:06
Speaker 7: Right, Yeah, exactly. I mean that's honestly like how I
48:07
Speaker 7: met my husband ten years ago.
48:09
Speaker 8: Too. I finally was like fuck it, I'm done dating.
48:11
Speaker 8: I'm just gonna work.
48:11
Speaker 7: And then literally three days later he comes to the
48:13
Speaker 7: salon and is like, hey, you marry me?
48:15
Speaker 8: And I was like, okay, okay, great.
48:18
Speaker 6: It sounds like you have to learn how to sit
48:20
Speaker 6: in your discomfort a little bit. It feels like you're
48:23
Speaker 6: really uncomfortable and you're really trying to get out of
48:26
Speaker 6: that uncomfortable. I don't know what to say in control.
48:29
Speaker 1: So if you're trying something uncomfortable, yeah, I mean, what'd
48:34
Speaker 1: you say been?
48:35
Speaker 8: They're done that?
48:36
Speaker 1: Okay, Well, just you got just something to shake shit up.
48:39
Speaker 1: I just love that she's having a cocktail. Okay, Well
48:42
Speaker 1: this is good. What's your takeaway from this call?
48:44
Speaker 8: It was definitely really helpful for sure. I mean I
48:47
Speaker 8: think I knew that deep down.
48:49
Speaker 7: But it's almost like when you're a little bit of
48:50
Speaker 7: a control freak and like a go getter, you almost
48:52
Speaker 7: need permission from somebody else to do nothing for a
48:55
Speaker 7: minute because it's like.
48:56
Speaker 8: You're you never give that permission to yourself.
48:58
Speaker 7: So I feel like it's really nice to get permission
49:00
Speaker 7: from women that I really respect to I consider to
49:02
Speaker 7: be go getters as well.
49:04
Speaker 1: Yeah, also like be really proud of yourself for getting
49:07
Speaker 1: this far in your life. You're thirty years old. You've
49:08
Speaker 1: accomplished all of the goals that you had set out,
49:11
Speaker 1: which leads me to believe that you are going to
49:13
Speaker 1: accomplish the next set of goals you set out, and
49:15
Speaker 1: there is no timeframe on those things. So be very
49:18
Speaker 1: proud of your competency and your ability to like follow
49:21
Speaker 1: through on all of these dreams that you've had. Like
49:24
Speaker 1: that is a huge accomplishment, So like we yeah, enjoy that.
49:28
Speaker 1: Go with that for a minute.
49:30
Speaker 6: Luxuriate in your accomplishments, like you've earned the right to
49:33
Speaker 6: sit back and take a break, and.
49:34
Speaker 1: You're only fucking thirty, Like this is Awesomey, that's so cool.
49:39
Speaker 7: You know, I feel like I grew up really fast
49:41
Speaker 7: as I had a kid at twenty one, so it
49:43
Speaker 7: makes you grow up really quickly. But so sometimes I
49:45
Speaker 7: think I feel that I'm older than I am. But yeah,
49:47
Speaker 7: you're right, I am only thirty and I do have
49:50
Speaker 7: lots of time.
49:50
Speaker 4: To figure out Yeah, yeah, yeah you will.
49:54
Speaker 8: All right.
49:55
Speaker 1: Well, thank you so much for calling in Aspen by
49:57
Speaker 1: as Ben.
49:58
Speaker 7: Yes, thank you, Chelsea for all the u I've been
50:00
Speaker 7: a huge fan since I was you know, like fifteen
50:03
Speaker 7: years old watching Chelsea Lately on the couch with my
50:05
Speaker 7: mom at night. So this has been an honor to
50:06
Speaker 7: talk to you. So thank you for being a huge
50:09
Speaker 7: role model to me.
50:10
Speaker 1: Oh thanks, thank you, thank you. Bye?
50:15
Speaker 4: What is sweetie? So funny?
50:16
Speaker 2: Because Cynthia was upset at herself because she didn't have
50:19
Speaker 2: the motivation, and you know, asked me's upset at herself?
50:22
Speaker 1: We should combine those two getting together too much motivation?
50:26
Speaker 6: Yeah, she's like.
50:28
Speaker 1: What's next? I'm like, I take a nap exactly, and
50:32
Speaker 1: nap is so delicious, coun.
50:35
Speaker 2: So let's take a quick break and we'll be back
50:37
Speaker 2: with one kind of wild question that we have.
50:39
Speaker 1: Okay, we're going to take a break, and we're back
50:46
Speaker 1: with low Bosworth.
50:47
Speaker 2: We are back, and our final question comes from Savannah.
50:50
Speaker 2: She is twenty nine. She writes to your Chelsea, my
50:54
Speaker 2: boyfriend tried to fuck a stripper two weeks ago, and
50:57
Speaker 2: I'm wondering what I should do. I'm leaning toward the
50:59
Speaker 2: idea for giving him, going to couple's therapy and working
51:02
Speaker 2: through it. But part of me can't help but think,
51:05
Speaker 2: what if this is who he is? Are these his
51:07
Speaker 2: true colors? How Can I trust a liar? Do people
51:10
Speaker 2: genuinely make mistakes? Or am I just a sucker? For context,
51:14
Speaker 2: I'm a twenty nine year old girl and my boyfriend
51:16
Speaker 2: is thirty one. He's the absolute love of my life,
51:18
Speaker 2: the most thoughtful, caring, passionate person I've ever known. He
51:22
Speaker 2: truly has a heart of gold. This sounds ridiculous, I know,
51:25
Speaker 2: but it is true. When we first got together, all
51:29
Speaker 2: of his friends warned me not to break his heart.
51:31
Speaker 2: Who knew I would be the one getting screwed? Well,
51:33
Speaker 2: me and at least one other person. We were close
51:36
Speaker 2: friends for two years before he became a couple, and
51:38
Speaker 2: have been dating for a year and a half and
51:40
Speaker 2: we lived together. Here's my problem. It's not so much
51:43
Speaker 2: the stripper, it is the lying, the deception. I feel tricked, betrayed, bamboozled,
51:47
Speaker 2: you get it. He went out of town, a three
51:49
Speaker 2: hour drive away on a work trip and was going
51:52
Speaker 2: to be gone for one, maybe two nights. The second
51:54
Speaker 2: day is wrapping up and he decides to stay another night.
51:56
Speaker 2: I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at
51:58
Speaker 2: two am grabbed my phone. To my surprise, he never
52:01
Speaker 2: called or texted, so I facetimed him and he was
52:04
Speaker 2: in an uber acting pretty weird, but it was late
52:06
Speaker 2: and I didn't want to get into it, so I
52:07
Speaker 2: went to bed. When he got home the next day,
52:10
Speaker 2: the vibes were kind of weird, so I asked him
52:12
Speaker 2: what he did that night and told him it was shitty.
52:14
Speaker 2: He was too tired to drive, but went out and partied.
52:17
Speaker 2: The area he was in has a lot of strip clubs,
52:19
Speaker 2: so I asked if he went to a strip club,
52:20
Speaker 2: and he said no. I could tell he was lying,
52:23
Speaker 2: so I reassured him that I wouldn't be mad. I
52:26
Speaker 2: just would like to know the truth. He insists he
52:29
Speaker 2: did not go to a strip club. Doubles down, triples down.
52:32
Speaker 2: So I tell myself I trust him. I have no
52:34
Speaker 2: reason not to. And a week goes by. Then Chelsea,
52:37
Speaker 2: I have a horrible gut feeling.
52:39
Speaker 4: All week.
52:39
Speaker 2: I can't sleep, and I keep thinking he cheated on me,
52:42
Speaker 2: which is not normal. So I did the thing you're
52:44
Speaker 2: not supposed to do, and I looked at his phone.
52:46
Speaker 2: I went to his deleted text messages. Oh so he
52:49
Speaker 2: was smart enough to delete it, and found that he
52:51
Speaker 2: texted a stripper that night that he was on his
52:53
Speaker 2: work trip. Hey, this is Tony, come to Indigo Hotel.
52:56
Speaker 4: I got you.
52:57
Speaker 2: I leave at ten am. I feel so heart broken,
53:00
Speaker 2: confused and deceived. Am I a fool for not walking away?
53:03
Speaker 2: Or am I throwing something amazing away for a stupid mistake?
53:07
Speaker 2: Savannah lo, would you like to begin?
53:11
Speaker 6: No?
53:13
Speaker 4: See, this is the thing she says, like, my boyfriend
53:15
Speaker 4: tried to fuck a stripper. But like, who's saying she
53:17
Speaker 4: didn't show up? Nobody's saying she didn't show up. He
53:20
Speaker 4: might have done it.
53:21
Speaker 1: Your boyfriend lied to you repeatedly. He chose to stay
53:26
Speaker 1: in a hotel, motel around a bunch of strip clubs
53:28
Speaker 1: instead of coming home to you. That is all the
53:30
Speaker 1: information that you need to know. That's it. No other
53:34
Speaker 1: information is relevant. That's what he chose to do. He's
53:38
Speaker 1: telling you exactly who he is, and that's it. He's
53:42
Speaker 1: a liar. Yeah bye.
53:44
Speaker 6: I mean like he spent a lot of time to
53:47
Speaker 6: like plan, prepare, egxecute. This was not off the cuff, right,
53:54
Speaker 6: which means that if you he's done this before, Yeah, Like,
54:01
Speaker 6: it does take a lot of bravery. I think to
54:03
Speaker 6: like go out and to actively cheat on somebody who
54:06
Speaker 6: you love in a lot of ways, Like it takes
54:09
Speaker 6: a lot of balls to actually execute against that plan.
54:13
Speaker 1: It's the lying after the facts. Yeah, if there was
54:15
Speaker 1: nothing to hide, he would have just told you, Yeah,
54:17
Speaker 1: I did, I tried to fuck a stripper. I've ever
54:18
Speaker 1: done that before. It's the lying. So it's over. Like,
54:21
Speaker 1: that's not somebody you can trust, and that's not somebody
54:23
Speaker 1: who has your best interest. So that's the that's the news,
54:28
Speaker 1: and I hope that you act on that and instead
54:31
Speaker 1: of finding out about this happening in another six months, right, you.
54:36
Speaker 2: Know, there is a question of like is your tolerance
54:39
Speaker 2: level to let him go do these things and like
54:41
Speaker 2: have that kind of relationship and if it is, fine,
54:43
Speaker 2: but like you can't really get past the lying, Like
54:46
Speaker 2: there's no tolerance level for lying.
54:48
Speaker 1: I really the lying is I can't deal with any
54:50
Speaker 1: adults who lie. It's it's adults.
54:53
Speaker 6: It's too stupid lie are never going to learn how
54:56
Speaker 6: to unlie, you know what I mean. Like, if you're
54:58
Speaker 6: an adult that lies, that's just pattern of behavior. It's
55:01
Speaker 6: who you are, and like you're not going to change.
55:04
Speaker 4: So yeah, so Savannah, I think.
55:05
Speaker 1: It's over anyways, Savannah, sorry about that, but there's plenty
55:10
Speaker 1: of guys out there that won't lie to you.
55:11
Speaker 4: That's right.
55:12
Speaker 1: Okay, Well, Low Buzzworth, how fun was today?
55:16
Speaker 6: Thanks for having me? This was a delight.
