- 0:40Welcome back to a hamster with a blunt penknife the Doctor Who
- 0:44commentary podcast, my name is Mark, and my name's Joe and
- 0:48listeners. Joe has promised to be very
- 0:50intellectual and not be rude at all.
- 0:53On episode 5 of the Mind robber. I think you'll find most
- 0:57educated people regarding mythical convictions as
- 0:59fundamentally animistic. I would only say that because I
- 1:02am currently having an epistemological quandary.
- 1:05And I find most experiences border on the existential.
- 1:10Well yes of course. I agree and I understand your
- 1:13question. I do.
- 1:15Yes. So given that the universe is
- 1:18infinite and the Multiverse is RO so infinite.
- 1:25Yeah, would you like a cheese sandwich?
- 1:28I'd love a cheese sandwich now, that's a joke from Red Dwarf.
- 1:31As in my, genuine question is this is 400 to 700.
- 1:35So what would you like in the I met you on now?
- 1:37All I Brie and worry, I've only got cheddar anyway.
- 1:42What was the question anyway, nicer Factory?
- 1:46And what was the question I've got a now began about cheese
- 1:49sandwiches? No, my question is this, which
- 1:52is why are you rubbing your head enough of me already have.
- 1:57You had enough of this lat. No, no, no.
- 2:02I'm trying so hard. So my question is this Rank.
- 2:11The second doctor companions. Oh, that's fairly easy.
- 2:18No, I'm My Own. Okay, go ahead.
- 2:21What best to worst. Yeah.
- 2:24Best I could to say Jamie that's got be Jamie has never better.
- 2:30I mean I would say sorry first Jamie Zoe yeah.
- 2:39Ben Polly Victoria. Oh you only Reagan been, I could
- 2:43you fancy of? No I'm sure no, he's good, he's
- 2:46better than but it displays a little bit whiny but they're not
- 2:50as widely as Victoria utterly corrupted by Sarah to whatchu
- 2:54about Polly. She's okay.
- 2:58But Victoria is, I'm afraid at the bottom of the pile there.
- 3:02I think. I'll probably go.
- 3:03Zoe. Jamie Benn Polly Victoria.
- 3:09So we kinda similar again, very similar.
- 3:12Yeah, yeah, yeah, Victoria just so.
- 3:14Why isn't she, can I just say that right, Mark, rather
- 3:19gloriously attended, Anika Wills has birthday party.
- 3:23Recently Steam Yeah. How was that Mark?
- 3:29Was very interesting, very enlightening, exactly.
- 3:33As I thought it would be a talking about us.
- 3:38Well, she gonna do. I think, I'll just do a quick
- 3:42impression though, because there was a dragon, lizard might be
- 3:51listening shoulder, know about the war.
- 3:56Baby dragon and she goes to other big wheels.
- 3:59Do you like bearded dragons that occur?
- 4:01World goes? Oh my God.
- 4:05What is it? It's alive.
- 4:11Annika wheels and I don't know, the man was doing it with her
- 4:16right. It's there for his head in his
- 4:19hands like what is she gonna come out with me?
- 4:25After Terror, it was an hour and a half of Anika wheels.
- 4:29So make of that. What you will?
- 4:31Yeah. Well I tell you what, hang on
- 4:34before we ship into the bottom. Sorry this episode's that is 17
- 4:39minutes. Long people expect longer
- 4:40content on a handsomer blunt, penknife.
- 4:43I'm just going to talk about when d-pad Bree at the
- 4:48convention that we went to recently and the furlings night
- 4:52evening at 8:00. Entertainment.
- 4:54When she did blankety-blank with leave the Bellman that was very
- 5:00entertaining. Yeah.
- 5:00That was good? Yeah, I thought you said that
- 5:03was the worst night Center of your life on the line?
- 5:05No, I think that was you saying that on the night?
- 5:09It was it was very intriguing but what was funny was they were
- 5:13really like bitching at each other or even that they
- 5:15absolutely adore each other. It was so funny.
- 5:18I was just great. Wendy pepper is lovely.
- 5:20What's she say to you? When you get your photo with
- 5:21her? Oh no, I thought so.
- 5:24But again, I went out to her with a picture of me and her
- 5:27having a cuddle with another convention back, in pre-pandemic
- 5:30times. And I've read said, in all
- 5:32innocence to her, and when it peppery are, I would like to
- 5:38re-enact this Photograph, but I'm not allowed to touch you am?
- 5:41I, let's just looked at me up and down, very scared and went.
- 5:45No, you're not. Yeah, well, she's probably
- 5:49because she saw you earlier on. Check it out.
- 5:52Her ass on the staircase. That's probably what it was
- 5:57trippy urge you. I she was having breakfast on
- 6:00the table right next to us, you know, when we're at breakfast
- 6:02one morning, look at that. Look at breakfast.
- 6:06She got about four sausages and free, but it's a bacon, which is
- 6:08only two horny. It's probably had a whole
- 6:11conversation as well. I'm sure you're talking about
- 6:13rude things, she was bad and I probably was, yeah, I'm telling
- 6:19you and Peter Purvis, I gave him my total the first machine Yes,
- 6:24you did you did you remember you sold me up there?
- 6:27And you said, yes, to legend by the toast machine, me and BFF I
- 6:32like doing for battle Legend. Thank you.
- 6:36Okay, ice. Well I got my DVD signed of the
- 6:38Mind robber by Wendy peppery and Fraser Hines, that's very nice.
- 6:42What was that a convention? Yeah, I'm I said to and
- 6:45appropriate style of the story in its first one and she said
- 6:48yeah it's very good as now. I really like it's very
- 6:50different and she enjoyed. She enjoyed it and Then with
- 6:53Fraser Hines yeah he just sort of signed it and then was just
- 6:58talking about how he wished that you've been in the 50th
- 7:00Anniversary episode. There was looking for work.
- 7:04I think we're like every comes along and she realized engaging
- 7:07with the fans I think phrase Orion's comes along sees things
- 7:10and just like people to buy him a drink.
- 7:14Yeah, no. Yeah.
- 7:15I've met friends and Hines that much.
- 7:17I knew that once, actually, I think.
- 7:19But I met Wendy, pepper crust. She's lovely.
- 7:23Yeah, Wendy pepper is lovely. Yeah, she knows what she's
- 7:26talking about. She does and if she lost her mom
- 7:29robot, then we like her. Hmm.
- 7:31Yeah. Okay.
- 7:32Well okay, let's go into episode 5.
- 7:35The Mind robber, this F. Sorry, you can't really add a
- 7:42sneeze either. Can you we go that way.
- 7:45Good. Please is now going to be
- 7:46immortalized. Did you say?
- 7:47Well, you're good. Are you taking a picture?
- 7:52Anyway, your mom. If you want me to edit this, I
- 7:58can do that for you. Yeah.
- 8:00You will know because your edited to try and make me PG-13
- 8:05and then basically it's just going to be just you talking
- 8:11Right. Episode 5 of the Mind dropper.
- 8:13Everybody, this is going to go buy a lick.
- 8:15It's 17 minutes is just a lick, is fun.
- 8:19Her spit? That's not always be together,
- 8:22right? You'll spit games.
- 8:27All right? And I didn't even know that was
- 8:33a thing. And now I'm just right now for I
- 8:36do not go looking at people lubricate anyway.
- 8:41Anyway, 85032. Right into the, my robot.
- 9:06Can you believe this skip intro button there?
- 9:10Where I'm red box is there? No way, no way.
- 9:14Would you ever skip intro on the Doctor Who theme tune?
- 9:17No, not at all. I do something.
- 9:19That would really? Yeah, why we told me that
- 9:23because he got his neighbor's, do those Doctor Who fans or
- 9:25whatever the music comes on, he fast-forwards it, or turn the
- 9:28music down, you making this up, no serious, go listen to my
- 9:33happiness, Patrol commentary with Marlo manners.
- 9:36He is not out as Doctor Who fans the people in their lives.
- 9:40Well, okay, he runs a doctor who podcast but he has absolutely
- 9:47alive Choice. People can have, if you don't
- 9:48want to, why don't you want people to know?
- 9:51Maybe the be embarrassed boy here?
- 9:56Yeah, we can skip the intro. You still watching Dojo though.
- 9:59Oh yeah. But like you know if you don't
- 10:01people in your life to know about it there was a time when I
- 10:03did that, there was absolutely a time in my late twenties where I
- 10:07would hide all my dogs Who DVDs when people came over.
- 10:11No genuinely Only Palmer's out but the Doctor Who videos all
- 10:16about. I'm joking you spit play.
- 10:24Look at the tops of climbing up the bookshelf.
- 10:28See look now the master land efficient is being Sinister.
- 10:32Yeah, because he is but you're right though, he has been taken
- 10:35over by this brain thing. So now your game Mark and and
- 10:40there's the pace, does the pace picks up here.
- 10:44They've got a lot to cram in in this 17 minutes and they've even
- 10:48got a bit at the end to have a chat at the end.
- 10:50You know, it's not like it finishes that, but it does
- 10:52finish quite quickly. Like you said though, there's a
- 10:55lot of set pieces. I don't think this is lacking
- 10:58pays for out. No, no, but it's that background
- 11:02of the castle. I just think that's really cute.
- 11:05It works. Oh, this is great as well with
- 11:10Jamie and Zoe go around the loop.
- 11:12Yeah, they're very good at. You can just tell him, he do
- 11:15something wrong. So they're playing the
- 11:20characters. As always do with just a little
- 11:22bit differently on there. So you can just tell though
- 11:24they're very good but also the fact that they're repeating the
- 11:27dialog. Yeah.
- 11:30We clue. And then we will see all these
- 11:37other characters won't be in a bit.
- 11:40That's nice out because it's not bringing them all together as
- 11:42like a bigger. Yeah but like nowadays, you know
- 11:46what would happen nowadays from you is there'd be more, massive
- 11:49CGI battle loads of characters and it would it wouldn't have
- 11:53the charm or the Simplicity of this know and what is it really
- 11:57gonna get Rapunzel again in a minute?
- 11:59And I've only got one criticism of the actual story of this.
- 12:03Yeah, and that is they defeat the master of Lana fiction and
- 12:07the master brain by pressing a lot of buttons, they just
- 12:10literally Krista later buttons, If It Isn't?
- 12:13That type of story though, where you need that extra Nation, it's
- 12:17more. The fun is the mystery in the
- 12:20characters and it doesn't actually matter.
- 12:22Yeah, okay. Yeah.
- 12:23They just press the little buttons and it happens.
- 12:24They're not it's not a clever solution but I don't think it's
- 12:30not the type of story that needs it.
- 12:32He's a flirt Rapunzel comes along with her hair.
- 12:35This is what we needed, all those stories, every single
- 12:39time. Yeah. there's this probably a
- 12:42moment at every story, you know, every single star in the
- 12:46invasion, they go down a lift shaft Yeah, yeah.
- 12:51Silurians potholing. Yeah.
- 12:54Yeah. Get down the drill facing
- 12:58Inferno. Go down to the center of the
- 13:00planet. Yes, story.
- 13:02After this Invasion, on the helicopter, they can use every
- 13:04guard territorial Waters. When they're up there radio
- 13:07satellite. Yeah.
- 13:09You know, that man didn't need to pull off their.
- 13:11He could have literally grab Oliver are on the way down.
- 13:15How do we do? I'll be these.
- 13:16Oh no, it's just pretending to climb.
- 13:18When the mind of evil or prison wall.
- 13:21Yeah, it's fun. Yeah, yeah.
- 13:24How long have you ever grown your head?
- 13:27Hey, yeah, we just got a bit puffy.
- 13:31So not not as long as Rapunzel. If you always had short hair
- 13:34like that, you never had that long now, I just have a quite
- 13:36long hair. Did you fairly low?
- 13:39Well, I've got it, quiet for my range, what I used to have hair
- 13:43like in, you know, Phantom Menace.
- 13:46Anakin Skywalker. What's his name?
- 13:48Ewan McGregor's character. You know what it sort of looks a
- 13:51bit like a mother but it's like it was fairly short.
- 13:53I was quite long at the back and I had enough where I had we
- 13:56called it a Jedi died it was like one braid down the
- 14:00backlight in Phantom Menace. I called it.
- 14:03My Jedi break had. I have long enough hair to have
- 14:06that so you have like a Rapunzel style.
- 14:10Great. Put it was like one braid thing
- 14:14there. Yeah it's sort of like sure the
- 14:17front but okay so maybe not all et maybe for like a snail or
- 14:21something that wanted to climb down your hair.
- 14:23Yeah. Yeah.
- 14:25It was what it was, you know, enough to hang down to be
- 14:28braided like one. And it was like it was all like
- 14:31human a bit dreadlock. He was like one dreadlock bit.
- 14:34Hanging down, Mark. Yeah, Johnny Rotten at one point
- 14:38because I've seen a video of you, when you were younger, you
- 14:40had proper Johnny Rotten red hair, it's not right now.
- 14:44Not read read. It's not it's not like I went
- 14:48and I used to have pink and blue hair for a while, pink and blue
- 14:51spot. And then I used to have was
- 14:53well-liked shaved at the sides, but we'd like patterns in it and
- 14:57dark brown. Why don't you do me like bugs
- 14:59off anymore them because I'm old and the rest of my hair anymore?
- 15:07Yeah. You know what?
- 15:09I had a couple of weeks but I do have my are all these from
- 15:11color. Sirs.
- 15:13What must we do? Really like 15 years ago.
- 15:17But I literally died my hair about five times in a week.
- 15:20I'm surprised I didn't lose the law.
- 15:21Yeah. I I tried start my blond and he
- 15:24went like this lemon color. I just, uh, my hair are
- 15:28hunkering Transit. Used to use them son into a son
- 15:31in me. You sprayed on your hair and
- 15:33then it's Snapchat. Son.
- 15:36That's tough god. Well, we egotistical when we
- 15:39were younger, you see all sorts my But I know I wouldn't do it
- 15:42now, nowadays, I mean, I don't even take a selfie now, you
- 15:45know? I just, um, oh no, not at all.
- 15:49Hey, we are anyway but system and robot software to.
- 15:53There we go. It's all right.
- 15:58Yeah, I got all the characters there.
- 16:01This is great when they were evil.
- 16:03Oh, and it's great. Where?
- 16:04Yeah, when is trapped in and then I love their little laugh
- 16:06that it was snigger. The second he walked in, they
- 16:10should have realized he was in a glass box.
- 16:12I mean, yeah, about five seconds for the reaction.
- 16:20The evil. They were part of the ladder
- 16:23fiction, aren't they? If you want to make a scene
- 16:26Sinister and evil, get a group of kids laughing at you?
- 16:29Yeah. Get those kids from the mafia or
- 16:31a brood of the Damned go. No, don't start on them.
- 16:34Please don't start as he wiped his spit away.
- 16:38Now I think it comes back again, we had a big blob of it last
- 16:42time. I'm so sorry.
- 16:43I'm so sorry, this guy is great. I'm just it's just happened.
- 16:48Sometimes, doesn't it? They just gobble idea mouth.
- 16:53Not really. No.
- 16:54Yeah. Job like a dry mouth sometimes
- 16:56then you and he does. We've got a bit of a bit, do you
- 16:57know? Sometimes it gets so sorry.
- 17:01It doesn't have to be all the time but I can imagine acting
- 17:05least some of the other day, right?
- 17:07Yeah. And they got all the tomato
- 17:09sauce all over their massive beard and he wasn't even aware.
- 17:13They took him like five of them. You make you got tomato sauce
- 17:15all over your beard. Yeah, exactly.
- 17:19Exactly. Lee.
- 17:20He's got a lot of lines in this school.
- 17:22Explain the plot of the Mind dropper to everyone.
- 17:24He can't be wiping his spear. So this is exactly the same plot
- 17:28as the three doctors isn't it? They want the doctor to take
- 17:31over pretty much share, and it's the same as that new adventures
- 17:35conundrum. Yeah, it was basically, the guy
- 17:41after this guy was stuck on one, it was very similar and that the
- 17:45end of the new vet again, it was this sort of battle of wits and
- 17:49of Just to take over. It wasn't anything different in
- 17:52that in that Adventure. Arresting me in the legend of
- 17:54the seidman. They did no one condemn Baker.
- 17:56Take over. But I just think, you know,
- 17:58probably wise I'm going to listen closely, you listen to
- 18:00that on its own. Or do you need to listen to that
- 18:02one idea? Can, it's better as the three
- 18:04though because it is a running story.
- 18:06I'm going to do that next. I was able to sit your spies
- 18:09wreck of the Titan and Legend, as I bend my back agencies and
- 18:13necessary, really? Yeah, I will definitely do that.
- 18:19But I'd say that's the most authentic than the vision story
- 18:22after this, right? And it's properly creative and
- 18:27goes in some really wacky places, they've managed to make
- 18:32it like white cinematic, given the facts on audio.
- 18:36There's like this whole underwater sequence where all
- 18:38the famous boats and submarines of fiction.
- 18:41That's amazing. All moved.
- 18:43And you've got Dracula's there. Yeah, obviously he's from
- 18:49fiction and he's, he's cyber ties.
- 18:53That amazing as well. Yeah.
- 18:57So they pushed their way out of the book now and the doctor is
- 19:00going to have a mental battle. Fictional battle with the
- 19:03master. I love this year.
- 19:06The music is quite, as well as like duh.
- 19:12It's a bit like him because the doctors like, oh, and this
- 19:15happens. And the leather fiction guys,
- 19:17like all this happens Nyssa. It's like a playing, a game of
- 19:20consequences. He used to play consequences.
- 19:22Yeah. Now, I still want, you know,
- 19:24where you do like word association.
- 19:26I love that game. What I'll do is I'll say a word
- 19:30and then you have to say a word as associated with it.
- 19:32Oh God. I'm gonna be able to repeat or
- 19:34deviate. So so it's in the first thing
- 19:36that comes into. Dead.
- 19:37That's right. Doctor.
- 19:39Who Tardis? Dalek Deborah's skaro.
- 19:48There for us Terry Nation I do I should I started anyway
- 19:57Wisconsin them so consequences. You have a bit of paper, don't
- 20:01you? And you write his name so you
- 20:05write a name and then you fold the bit over, then you swap Bits
- 20:07of Paper then you write her name or whoever and then you fold it
- 20:11again and Swap and then you say he said to her and then you
- 20:14write something and then you swap she said to him, you It's
- 20:18something in the Swap and the consequence was, and then you
- 20:20write something and you sort of Bits of Paper you fold it.
- 20:22And there you go. And then you written in big,
- 20:25have your story and you don't know what they've said in its
- 20:27City stuff. Okay, so I'll get the die, so
- 20:31it's been Jackson. Okay.
- 20:34Yeah. But are you not supposed to know
- 20:35you see, when I won a car stereo audio Sophie aldred.
- 20:45He said to her Do you want to see my big ship?
- 20:52She said to him boom, and because was they had their own
- 20:58Doctor Who spin-off? Yeah.
- 21:00Okay. So I remember this joint
- 21:03consequences reminds me of bit of a weird one when I was at
- 21:08University in buckinghamshire and High Wycombe.
- 21:14My friends, I used to work with at the co-op back in Essex, what
- 21:17I call we've gone out for a drive, but we've just driven for
- 21:19a few hours and we nearby. Can we visit It was like, okay,
- 21:22that's a couple of hours drive, okay?
- 21:25Come over. It's quite late at night and I
- 21:28was like, let's play consequence.
- 21:30It's and it was what? Oh it's my friend, my friend,
- 21:34Luke from school from primary school because they end up
- 21:37working the coop and he wrote know what the consequence was,
- 21:41he wrote he wrote something that annadurai don't know whatever
- 21:48the consequence was. They went down the dirt track
- 21:55because the river was running red.
- 22:01I don't never forgotten, I'm so sorry about the day.
- 22:19He got beaten up on box through night you'll learn about the
- 22:23day. He got Pulled out a class for
- 22:24sex education. I believe you wrote that.
- 22:29I know about that bastard. That stole his copy of
- 22:31remembrance of the Daleks. So anyway, I always think of I'm
- 22:35always tempted to put that as whatever I play consequences as
- 22:38the consequence, when a dirt track because the river What
- 22:44does that mean? What I think it means.
- 22:47I can't think of everything that's obscene that's obscene.
- 22:51Even for me, I can't believe I've shocked you there your
- 22:55face. I actually can't believe you
- 22:57have been shocked. Is this a first vow of celibacy
- 23:01on the back of that shocking? Revelation is named Luke.
- 23:05Yeah, it sounds like a Luke, sorry, 20 Loops that listening
- 23:13Except for the I do anyway. Baseline.
- 23:15Sure. But we That's the trouble with
- 23:22stories. Are they stay?
- 23:23They spark off of the memory and only do they do?
- 23:28Yeah, there's another person on the buttons, huh?
- 23:32It's, yeah. Oh, look.
- 23:34We're seeing all the footage of everything that we've already
- 23:35seen. That's quite nice.
- 23:38I love to know what, I love the designer that Master brain
- 23:40behind them is massive and it was literally about to say it's
- 23:44a bit. I described it as cotton wool.
- 23:47Are you serious? That is massive.
- 23:49It looks like it's made out of glass.
- 23:52Yeah. Okay.
- 23:53Okay. I'll give you that.
- 23:54It's better than the dodecahedron from make awesome.
- 23:58Everything's better than make loss.
- 24:00You are So mean about the fun stories, we got it up let so
- 24:04they're firing on it. We're on we're on film for some
- 24:07reason. Here is it because of the fire
- 24:08and stuff? I feel like there.
- 24:11Must be. Yeah, that's all done on film
- 24:13but I could see why people would complain that this is all over
- 24:16with a bit quick. No, yeah, I do get it, I do get
- 24:19it. And, you know, it's like button
- 24:21pushing him far enough, you guns, whereas it should be
- 24:23something like it's been such a clever story to this point.
- 24:27It should be something clever to finish it off, you know?
- 24:31Yeah. But I can, I can look past that
- 24:34because we've had such, you know, episode 1, 2 and 3 with
- 24:36all the mystery and the and everything.
- 24:38I think we can. Journal stock.
- 24:42The journeys means, how much farther also, when I first heard
- 24:45this on video, because it finishes so quickly, I thought
- 24:48it was another episode. I was like, what happens next?
- 24:50Because they run off with this guy.
- 24:52I was like, where's episode 6? We never see him again.
- 24:56Do we know? I know he's very quick.
- 24:59Yeah, but I guess he goes back to his office.
- 25:02Yeah. But it feels like it's very,
- 25:05it's just so right, where's that extra five minutes?
- 25:08Just to see ya? It feels like, you know what?
- 25:10Like we just need to get back to normal.
- 25:12Like we've had fun. Let's get back to normal was and
- 25:15you know, God when do this very often, but like somebody like
- 25:18Steven, Moffat would think up a smart way of ending this?
- 25:22Like a way that makes you go. Okay.
- 25:28Like like it could be it could be that the doctor somehow finds
- 25:32a way of like then leaping out of the story like literally on
- 25:38the story. You know, like in come on.
- 25:40Imagine if they went they went out and it was the TV studio TV
- 25:43sentencing stage, 3 of legend of the Cybermen know where Jamie
- 25:53is. He's going for all these
- 25:55Landscapes he goes for Alice in Wonderland.
- 25:57Ezra Pooh, Bear, and all of this.
- 25:59And all of a sudden he finds himself in a sound booth and
- 26:03you're here. Nicholas, Brooks talking to him
- 26:04and he's like, he's like, I is Nicholas Briggs, can we just go
- 26:08again on that line? And, and he's very signs of
- 26:11Jamie going. What's going on is like, phrase.
- 26:13I come on, don't take the piss, right?
- 26:15Let's just keep going with the story and the whole inference is
- 26:18that. He's recording it in in big for
- 26:20the Studio's. Yeah, the kids are making gonna
- 26:23walk down the corridor and Sydney Newman could have been
- 26:25there. Oh my God.
- 26:27It would have been better. Yeah, they wouldn't have thought
- 26:31like that in those days they would say they never even would
- 26:35have even Grandma ended like that.
- 26:36Remember there was a programmer drama island in the last
- 26:39episode. It Crossroads back on the TV
- 26:43studio. Oh actually see that it was
- 26:47actually a manufacturing program the whole time.
- 26:50I don't know that. I was just thinking across those
- 26:52barriers in the shopping center and Supermarket, remember that?
- 26:57Oh well they finish Crossroads in the 2000s about a life in the
- 27:01whole of yeah the whole across it and it was all the crossroads
- 27:04characters in the supermarket, wash honest to God.
- 27:09Imagine a doctor who ended like that o is all a dream of some
- 27:12little kids who wanted to dream of a better life.
- 27:15You know, it's that kid in more than 30 years in the Tardis
- 27:19wakes up and then I'll yeah it's very good but it's yeah we carry
- 27:25them forward to the edge. Again so make sure work.
- 27:29You love it. When she gets some work, I love
- 27:31it. Yeah.
- 27:33Anyways fro she can do, she can afford a Christmas present.
- 27:35That year, there we are the Mind tropper really--and story.
- 27:47You need to do your three things that you are you do three things
- 27:51the but it's a different type of story in this season in
- 27:56Actually, the whole of the Patrick troughton time.
- 28:00It's completely different to any other.
- 28:02Second of the story, you're going to get, it's very
- 28:05imaginative. It's well-directed the regulars.
- 28:09All have brilliant screentime. Brilliant.
- 28:13Well, they, they carry the whole story and you need.
- 28:17Yeah. You just not going to get
- 28:18anything like this for a long time so it's definitely worth
- 28:23checking out. Come on three more.
- 28:25Yeah. I'd say the Sterling direction
- 28:28of David Maloney. Yeah, I would definitely say
- 28:32it's the free regulars at their best, like it's their best
- 28:35story. The three reactors because it's
- 28:37just, they just showcase so much.
- 28:40And finally gosh, if I'm going to just pick out one set piece,
- 28:44I'd say it's the one, we talked all over consequences where the
- 28:49doctor pulls out D'Artagnan and Blackbeard and you know, and
- 28:54it's one car after another 20. A different character.
- 28:57I'm so sorry. We've talked over that whole
- 28:59thing we could have had a more intellectual conversation over
- 29:03that whole sequence in episode 5 but no we did that.
- 29:06We invented the been and Ace spin-off show it's called Ace of
- 29:13Base dude. Anyway.
