Flooding Halts Care Package Shipments | Lexington News
Military Missions, the nonprofit sending care packages to troops since 2004, hit a major setback after heavy Fourth of July rains flooded their warehouse, destroying 50 sturdy copy paper boxes and ruining pre-packed packages. Volunteers are now urgently asking the community—businesses, schools, and workplaces—to hold onto empty 8-ream copy paper boxes and drop them off weekdays 10 AM–3 PM.
