- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:05Speaker 1: In this episode, we're going to conclude the article we
- 0:08Speaker 1: were reading from the Daily Mail about Glenn Maxwell and
- 0:12Speaker 1: the interview she gave from jail. This article was authored
- 0:17Speaker 1: by Elizabeth Hay, Olivia Jones, Rory Tingle, and Daphne Burrock.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Part two. They said he was pressured into settling the
- 0:28Speaker 1: case to avoid overshadowing the Platinum Jubilee and has paid
- 0:32Speaker 1: a heavy price personally and professionally. The King is happy
- 0:36Speaker 1: for him to pursue this. I doubt that severely. I
- 0:39Speaker 1: highly doubt that King Charles is out here doing handstands,
- 0:43Speaker 1: happy that Prince Andrew just won't shut the fuck up
- 0:47Speaker 1: and fade into the background. As head of state, he
- 0:50Speaker 1: can't back him publicly, but Andrew is still his brother
- 0:53Speaker 1: and he wants what's best for him according to who
- 0:56Speaker 1: and since when? We all know that Andrew and Charles
- 0:59Speaker 1: haven't been the greatest of friends, and we also have
- 1:02Speaker 1: the recent report that Prince Andrew tried to put a
- 1:04Speaker 1: stop to Charles becoming king. So you really think Prince
- 1:08Speaker 1: Charles or King Charles I mean, is running around worried
- 1:11Speaker 1: about Prince Andrew and him not coming back into public life.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Pretty sure the King has other issues to concern himself with.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Andrew is reported to be more financially secure than ever
- 1:24Speaker 1: after he and his ex wife Sarah Ferguson sold their
- 1:28Speaker 1: Swiss chalet for ten million pounds last year. The Queen
- 1:32Speaker 1: is also have said to have left her son in
- 1:34Speaker 1: inheritance worth several million, which he may also use to
- 1:38Speaker 1: fund his case. Oh I hope he does. I dare you,
- 1:42Speaker 1: Prince Andrew to try and reignite all of this and
- 1:45Speaker 1: get cracking. Now. We all know that Virginia is also
- 1:49Speaker 1: able to talk about what happened now since the gag
- 1:52Speaker 1: order has ran out. So let Prince Andrew start a
- 1:55Speaker 1: shit and I'd love to see what Virginia's response to
- 1:58Speaker 1: all of that would be, because Prince Andrew, frankly is
- 2:03Speaker 1: in no position to start talking about I'm making a comeback,
- 2:07Speaker 1: to start talking about anything, honestly, besides having a little
- 2:11Speaker 1: humility and fading off into the background, that's what he
- 2:14Speaker 1: should be focused on. It comes as it was reported
- 2:20Speaker 1: this week that Prince Andrew is pushing his brother King
- 2:22Speaker 1: Charles to allow him to use the title HRH again.
- 2:27Speaker 1: But miss Bloom suggested he had no chance of succeeding, adding,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I can tell you that his chances of wiggling out
- 2:33Speaker 1: of the agreement now are somewhere between no way and
- 2:37Speaker 1: no how. He is a grown man, he had very
- 2:40Speaker 1: competent counsel. I know his attorneys. They are among the
- 2:43Speaker 1: best in America. And that is not even a lie.
- 2:47Speaker 1: What attorney is he going to get that's better than
- 2:50Speaker 1: Andrew Brettler. I'm waiting for somebody to tell me that,
- 2:53Speaker 1: because you're not going to be able to do it
- 2:56Speaker 1: for my money when the chips are down. If I
- 2:58Speaker 1: was in trouble and I have enough money to pay
- 3:01Speaker 1: Andrew Brettler, that's exactly who I'm hiring, nobody else. So
- 3:06Speaker 1: who is he going to get that's going to find
- 3:08Speaker 1: a way to wiggle him out of that? If Andrew
- 3:11Speaker 1: Bretler took a look at what was going on and said, hey,
- 3:13Speaker 1: look bro, your best idea is to settle, then chances
- 3:17Speaker 1: are his best idea was to settle. And I find
- 3:20Speaker 1: this all to be nothing more than him stirring the pot.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Do you really think Prince Andrew, mister am honorable. I'm
- 3:27Speaker 1: gonna fight this a trial is going to reignite this
- 3:30Speaker 1: ship storm. Now, this settlement agreement was negotiated over a
- 3:37Speaker 1: period of weeks, if not months, and he ultimately made
- 3:40Speaker 1: the decision to sign his name to it. There is
- 3:42Speaker 1: no judge who was going to let him out of that.
- 3:45Speaker 1: He had his chance to fight it. He chose to
- 3:47Speaker 1: sign it. Whose fault is that? What's he gonna say?
- 3:51Speaker 1: I was on drugs when I signed the agreement. I
- 3:54Speaker 1: didn't know what I was signing. I didn't have competent counsel.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Because none of that's the truth, and there's no in
- 4:00Speaker 1: the land that's going to listen to it. The Joe
- 4:03Speaker 1: Exotic of the Windsor family is said to have taken
- 4:07Speaker 1: action after Miss Roberts dropped her lawsuit against Epstein's former
- 4:10Speaker 1: lawyer Alan Dershowitz last year, who she also accused of
- 4:14Speaker 1: sexual assault. She said she may have made a mistake
- 4:18Speaker 1: in identifying him. Maxwell, who is serving twenty year sentence
- 4:22Speaker 1: for procuring girls for Epstein, said it's entirely possible Andrew
- 4:26Speaker 1: met Virginia as she traveled with the US billionaire sex offender.
- 4:30Speaker 1: It wasn't something so outrageously out of left field that
- 4:33Speaker 1: it couldn't have happened. But the photo doesn't appear to
- 4:37Speaker 1: be real, and I don't recall it being taken. I
- 4:40Speaker 1: have no memory of Virginia and Prince Andrew meeting. Well,
- 4:43Speaker 1: what's with the email? Why did you have the email
- 4:45Speaker 1: sent to you from Prince Andrew about Virginia Roberts. What
- 4:49Speaker 1: about all of the other people who have come forward
- 4:51Speaker 1: and said that they saw them altogether with you? So
- 4:54Speaker 1: this whole entire attempt to recreate history is not going
- 4:58Speaker 1: to work out so well for them. In February last year,
- 5:03Speaker 1: Andrew agreed to agreed to pay Virginia a settlement to
- 5:06Speaker 1: drop her civil action, but accepted no blame and continues
- 5:09Speaker 1: to deny any wrongdoing. But the scandal has significantly damaged
- 5:14Speaker 1: his reputation and made him an outcast from the royal family.
- 5:18Speaker 1: He was stripped of his military titles and asked not
- 5:20Speaker 1: to use his HRH title. New evidence, as seen by
- 5:24Speaker 1: the Mail on Sunday, has led him to consult with
- 5:27Speaker 1: lawyers in the US in the hope of forcing a retraction.
- 5:31Speaker 1: New evidence. Huh. The new evidence that they're talking about
- 5:34Speaker 1: is the Dershowitz situation, where Virginia said she might have
- 5:37Speaker 1: been mistaken. So Andrew, like any drowning man in the
- 5:40Speaker 1: middle of the ocean, is looking for some debris to
- 5:43Speaker 1: cling onto. And if that's the case, and you were deceived,
- 5:48Speaker 1: and you were blackmailed and all that other shit, then
- 5:50Speaker 1: you had your chance to fight it in court, and
- 5:53Speaker 1: like the coward you are, you didn't do that. Those
- 5:58Speaker 1: close to Andrew have claimed he wanted to fight the
- 6:00Speaker 1: allegations in court, but was persuaded to agree to a
- 6:03Speaker 1: deal by Pallace forces who feared the negative publicity of
- 6:07Speaker 1: the case would overshadow the Queen's platinum jubilee. That's just
- 6:11Speaker 1: an excuse, just an excuse why Andrew settled something that
- 6:15Speaker 1: he can say, hey, look, this is why it happened.
- 6:17Speaker 1: It's always an excuse of action with these people. It's
- 6:20Speaker 1: never a I did wrong and I'm taking responsibility for
- 6:24Speaker 1: my behavior. It is never that for these people. Andrew
- 6:29Speaker 1: felt as if he was in a pressure cooker, as
- 6:31Speaker 1: if he was given no option but to settle. A
- 6:34Speaker 1: source said, but he never wanted to settle, and he
- 6:36Speaker 1: always insisted he was innocent. He wants to see what
- 6:39Speaker 1: legal routes might be available to him. What a fucking coward. Yo.
- 6:43Speaker 1: This dude's a straight up scoundrel coward. He belongs in
- 6:47Speaker 1: the Tower of London, not in a courtroom. Enough with
- 6:50Speaker 1: this guy already, I mean, for real, all these years
- 6:53Speaker 1: and we're still listening to this guy cry and throw
- 6:56Speaker 1: a tantrum because he lost his titles. Well, here's an idea.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Quit breaking bread with Jeffrey Epstein, Quit hanging out at
- 7:03Speaker 1: his house, quit hanging out with all the other scumbags
- 7:06Speaker 1: you were hanging out with, and then you wouldn't have
- 7:08Speaker 1: to worry about it. But Prince Andrew, like the piece
- 7:11Speaker 1: of garbage. He is squandered not only his wealth, not
- 7:16Speaker 1: only his own good name, but the good name of
- 7:19Speaker 1: his family members. So now he's gonna try and swindle
- 7:22Speaker 1: his way out of that as well well. Breaking news,
- 7:25Speaker 1: Prince Andrew, that's not gonna work out so well for you.
- 7:29Speaker 1: The Duke has previously said he has no recollection of
- 7:32Speaker 1: meeting Miss Roberts and cast out on the picture, claiming
- 7:35Speaker 1: he has not won the hug or display affection in public.
- 7:39Speaker 1: In a twenty nineteen interview with BBC, he said while
- 7:43Speaker 1: he recognizes himself in the picture with Miss Roberts, he
- 7:46Speaker 1: claimed it was not possible to prove whether the image
- 7:49Speaker 1: had been faked. He also claimed pictures could not have
- 7:53Speaker 1: been taken in London as he was in his traveling clothes. Yeah,
- 7:57Speaker 1: he has different outfits that he travels in or goes
- 7:59Speaker 1: to eat peat in. Do you have an outfit that
- 8:02Speaker 1: you wear when you're diddling girls with Jeffrey Epstein? What
- 8:05Speaker 1: outfit is that, mister Prince. Miss Roberts insisted to BBC
- 8:11Speaker 1: Panorama in twenty nineteen that the photo was authentic and
- 8:15Speaker 1: said she gave the original to the FBI in two
- 8:17Speaker 1: thousand and eleven. The Panorama investigation also found that roberts
- 8:23Speaker 1: then boyfriend Tony Figueroa, said he saw the picture in
- 8:26Speaker 1: the year it was taken, two thousand and one, and
- 8:30Speaker 1: that Miss Roberts told him she had been forced to
- 8:32Speaker 1: have sex with the Prince. The program also uncovered evidence
- 8:36Speaker 1: that supports Miss roberts claim that she gave the original
- 8:40Speaker 1: to the FBI. A redacted court document shows she gave
- 8:44Speaker 1: twenty photos to the FBI in twenty and eleven and
- 8:47Speaker 1: they were scanned front and back, but there were only
- 8:50Speaker 1: nineteen photos shown in the public version. Journalist Michael Thomas,
- 8:55Speaker 1: who was the first to copy the photograph in twenty
- 8:57Speaker 1: and eleven, said in the program that he was convinced
- 9:00Speaker 1: the picture is genuine because he found it in the
- 9:02Speaker 1: middle of a bundle of photographs. He said, it wasn't
- 9:06Speaker 1: like she pulled the photo of Prince Andrew out. It
- 9:08Speaker 1: was just in among the rest of them. They were
- 9:10Speaker 1: just typical teenage snaps. There's no way that that photo
- 9:14Speaker 1: is fake. So from all the people who have given
- 9:16Speaker 1: us their opinion on this photo, the one opinion I
- 9:19Speaker 1: take the most serious is from the professional photographer. You
- 9:23Speaker 1: would think he would know a real picture from a
- 9:25Speaker 1: fake one. Right. Former sex crimes prosecutor Wendy Murphy previously
- 9:30Speaker 1: said the image is real. She said that if the
- 9:33Speaker 1: case did not involve a member of the royal family,
- 9:36Speaker 1: the picture would tell you nothing because it's not a
- 9:38Speaker 1: picture of sexual assault. Had it been an ordinary case,
- 9:42Speaker 1: she said, she thought that the defense would just say
- 9:44Speaker 1: it only proves they were at a party together. She
- 9:47Speaker 1: added that Maxwell being in the background means that the
- 9:50Speaker 1: photograph has no innocent explanation, because there is no innocent
- 9:54Speaker 1: reason for him to be hugging her, even in a
- 9:56Speaker 1: social situation. A professor of digital forensic and image analysis,
- 10:01Speaker 1: also claimed the photo was real in February of last year.
- 10:05Speaker 1: So those are the people telling you it was real,
- 10:08Speaker 1: and the people telling you it was fake. Victoria Hervey,
- 10:12Speaker 1: Klaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew basically the three Musketeers of moronity.
- 10:19Speaker 1: So I'll stick with believing what the experts have to
- 10:21Speaker 1: say and not what a lying human trafficker has to say.
- 10:25Speaker 1: A man who is accused of taking part in Jeffrey
- 10:29Speaker 1: Epstein's crimes. And I don't even know who Lady Victoria
- 10:32Speaker 1: Hervey is, so whatever. UC Berkeley professor Hannie Fred said
- 10:38Speaker 1: he thought it unlikely that the photo was doctored. He said,
- 10:41Speaker 1: the light and the shadows in the image show no inconsistencies,
- 10:44Speaker 1: and it doesn't appear likely that Andrew's body or head
- 10:47Speaker 1: were placed into the image. The expert added, the two
- 10:51Speaker 1: figures are so seamlessly and closely placed next to each
- 10:54Speaker 1: other it suggests that this is unlikely to be a
- 10:57Speaker 1: full body splice of Prince Andrew. The lighting and pose
- 11:01Speaker 1: of the head seem consistent with the body and scene.
- 11:04Speaker 1: He told The Times last year. Prince Andrew's ex lady
- 11:08Speaker 1: Victoria Hovey said the notorious image was fake. She claimed
- 11:12Speaker 1: it had been pieced together using a photo taken at
- 11:15Speaker 1: Naomi Campbell's birthday party on board a yacht in Saint
- 11:18Speaker 1: Trope in May of two thousand and one, in which
- 11:21Speaker 1: Virginia can be seen wearing the same white tank top
- 11:25Speaker 1: with pattern jeans. But Lady Victoria Harvey Hervey did not
- 11:29Speaker 1: have a copy of the exact photo from San Trope,
- 11:32Speaker 1: and that has never been seen publicly. That's because it
- 11:35Speaker 1: doesn't exist. You see how we can do that? Oh,
- 11:37Speaker 1: I think their picture is fake. I can make that
- 11:41Speaker 1: assumption right If they can, so can I. At least
- 11:44Speaker 1: the picture that Virginia brought up has experts backing it
- 11:47Speaker 1: up saying it's real. I mean, what's the next trick
- 11:50Speaker 1: for Prince Andrew. He's gonna have Kevin Spacey tell us
- 11:53Speaker 1: the picture is fake too. Lady Victoria added to her
- 11:57Speaker 1: baffling claims by saying that Irish guy who was dating
- 12:01Speaker 1: one of Epstein's survivors in two thousand and one and
- 12:04Speaker 1: also attended the party, was used as a body double
- 12:07Speaker 1: for Prince Andrew in the fake image. Yo, this lady
- 12:10Speaker 1: right here talk about being a fantasist. You should be
- 12:14Speaker 1: writing stories because what you're spewing here is complete and
- 12:18Speaker 1: utter garbage. Maxwell, who miss Roberts also accused of grooming
- 12:24Speaker 1: her for sexual abuse, said during the interview, I've read
- 12:27Speaker 1: a lot of her depositions, and her statements are very categorical,
- 12:31Speaker 1: and her stories are very detailed and elaborate, including claiming
- 12:35Speaker 1: that she went to his house talking about Dershowitz. I
- 12:39Speaker 1: think her memory lapses are disingenuous. If her memory is
- 12:42Speaker 1: so poor, then how can you rely on anything she says.
- 12:46Speaker 1: When you give a lot of details and make claims
- 12:48Speaker 1: that last five, six or seven years and then suddenly
- 12:51Speaker 1: at the moment decide that it was a memory lapse,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I find that hard to credit. Well, even let's say
- 12:57Speaker 1: that that's all true. I don't believe it, but let's
- 12:59Speaker 1: say it's all true. Guess what, Glenn Maxwell, It wasn't
- 13:03Speaker 1: Virginia Roberts account of what happened that puts you behind bars?
- 13:07Speaker 1: Is it? Your ass is there because you're a gross, ass,
- 13:10Speaker 1: disgusting individual who had a pattern in history of doing
- 13:14Speaker 1: this exact thing. So please stop with the bullshit. You're
- 13:19Speaker 1: not a victim, and you're never going to be seen
- 13:21Speaker 1: as one. Maxwell's comment in October last year in a
- 13:26Speaker 1: World exclusive prison interview with a mel On Sunday, contradicted
- 13:30Speaker 1: Andrew's denial to a US court that they had been close.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Maxwell felt to deny suggestions that she and Andrew had
- 13:38Speaker 1: been a couple and had declared I care about him
- 13:41Speaker 1: because remember Andrew tried to put it out like him
- 13:43Speaker 1: and Maxwell weren't even close. Talk about lies and bs.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Maxwell was sentenced to twenty years in prison last year
- 13:52Speaker 1: after she was found guilty by a jury of learning
- 13:55Speaker 1: young girls to massage rooms for Epstein to molest between
- 13:58Speaker 1: nineteen ninety four and two thousand and four. In December
- 14:02Speaker 1: of twenty twenty one, she was convicted of five counts
- 14:05Speaker 1: of grooming miners for Epstein, who was found hanged in
- 14:08Speaker 1: his prison cell in twoenty and nineteen. After two years
- 14:12Speaker 1: at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York, where she
- 14:15Speaker 1: complained of maggot infested meals and inhumane treatment, Maxwell was
- 14:20Speaker 1: expected to serve time in Federal Correctional Institute Danbury, the
- 14:24Speaker 1: Connecticut prison that inspired Orange as the New Black, but
- 14:28Speaker 1: she was instead shipped one thousand miles south in late
- 14:31Speaker 1: July to Florida, where Epstein abused many of his victims
- 14:34Speaker 1: at his Palm Beach mansion, and she was never expected
- 14:38Speaker 1: to serve her time at Danbury. That's where people were
- 14:41Speaker 1: speculating she was going to spend her time. That's where
- 14:44Speaker 1: she asked to spend her time, but there was no
- 14:47Speaker 1: official source that ever said well, Maxwell's going to Danbury.
- 14:51Speaker 1: FCI Tallahassee, Maxwell's home until at least seventeen twenty thirty seven,
- 14:57Speaker 1: is surrounded by a maze of thirty foot fences and cameras.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Maxwell expressed remorse as she was handed down a two
- 15:04Speaker 1: hundred and forty month sentence, telling her victims, I hope
- 15:08Speaker 1: my conviction and hearsh incarceration brings you closure. However, Maxwell
- 15:13Speaker 1: is planning an appeal. Her spokesman said her spirits are
- 15:16Speaker 1: holding up well as you might expect of an innocent woman.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, innocent as the day is long. And the
- 15:24Speaker 1: fact that she expressed remorse, No, she didn't. She didn't
- 15:28Speaker 1: express any remorse whatsoever ever, and she still doesn't and
- 15:33Speaker 1: she never will because guess what, folks, She's a human trafficker,
- 15:37Speaker 1: a child abuser, a bipedal serpent, and Jeffrey Epstein's co conspirator.
- 15:44Speaker 1: All right, that's gonna do it for this one. All
