- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:15Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kaylee, and this is
- 0:18Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:21Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day for you to become
- 0:23Speaker 1: the Hawkerel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:27Speaker 1: Happy Wednesday, Welcome back to another episode. I hope you
- 0:30Speaker 1: guys are having an amazing week so far. I have
- 0:34Speaker 1: been such a busy bee lately. I feel like things
- 0:37Speaker 1: have just been like approaching really quickly, because I think
- 0:41Speaker 1: already going into mid July, I already feel like so
- 0:45Speaker 1: many fun summer things is happening, and you know, just
- 0:48Speaker 1: planning trips and batcherette weekends and anyways, I just feel
- 0:52Speaker 1: like summer is literally approaching so fast. The point where
- 0:56Speaker 1: all I could think about is the end of August
- 0:57Speaker 1: and the beginning of September and making a pumpkin season
- 1:01Speaker 1: and fall, which is so crazy. But you know, summer
- 1:04Speaker 1: is very short and sweet. I do find it goes
- 1:06Speaker 1: by so quickly. But I'm just trying to soak up
- 1:09Speaker 1: all the weekends of just relaxing, enjoying the summer weather.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Really just kind of taking the weekend slow and enjoying
- 1:16Speaker 1: the time of being outside and such. I definitely feel
- 1:19Speaker 1: like I've done a really good job this summer specifically
- 1:22Speaker 1: of really just kind of taking a step back on
- 1:23Speaker 1: the weekends of just not really being on social media,
- 1:26Speaker 1: just kind of you know, doing my thing with my
- 1:28Speaker 1: friends or with my family or with Zach. Like I've
- 1:31Speaker 1: kind of been posting like updates on the Sunday of
- 1:34Speaker 1: everything I did on Friday and Saturday and just kind
- 1:37Speaker 1: of not really be on socials Friday and Saturday, which, honestly,
- 1:40Speaker 1: it's been like a really nice kind of mental health
- 1:42Speaker 1: break for me as well, from like not constantly being
- 1:44Speaker 1: on social media and scrolling on my phone and all that.
- 1:47Speaker 1: It's been like a really good kind of like social
- 1:49Speaker 1: media detox of just like allowing myself to not work
- 1:53Speaker 1: obviously and enjoying time with friends and family and just yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I've been really enjoying it and just kind of giving
- 1:59Speaker 1: a recap on Sunday or Monday of things that happened
- 2:02Speaker 1: throughout the weekend, and yeah, really just being present and
- 2:05Speaker 1: enjoying the in the moment experiences. So last weekend, I
- 2:10Speaker 1: had a bit of a solo weekend. Zach was gone
- 2:13Speaker 1: for a ball tournament, which is so funny because whenever
- 2:16Speaker 1: he goes to these ball tournaments, I swear he always
- 2:18Speaker 1: runs into followers, which is so crazy that you guys
- 2:21Speaker 1: recognize Zach and you guys will just go.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Up to him and just say like, oh my god,
- 2:25Speaker 2: we follow your wife or whatever.
- 2:26Speaker 1: So he came back on Sunday and he was just
- 2:28Speaker 1: telling me that he'd ran into a few of you guys.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So it was so funny that you guys saw him.
- 2:33Speaker 1: But he was in a ball tournament this weekend, so
- 2:35Speaker 1: I had a bit of.
- 2:35Speaker 2: A solo weekend.
- 2:36Speaker 1: On Friday, I actually went out with my girlfriends downtown,
- 2:40Speaker 1: which who am I? I never go out ever, so
- 2:43Speaker 1: it was a very much needed girls night. We actually
- 2:45Speaker 1: went to Chateau Laurier. If you're from Ottawa, there's this
- 2:48Speaker 1: beautiful patio at the Chateau Laurier that overlooks the parliament
- 2:51Speaker 1: called La Terres. So we went there because my girlfriend
- 2:55Speaker 1: was proposing to her bridesmaids, which I am one of them,
- 2:59Speaker 1: and she did a really cute setup and we literally
- 3:01Speaker 1: just had the best night. She had champagne for us,
- 3:05Speaker 1: she made these cute little cards with just like pictures
- 3:07Speaker 1: and memories that we've shared with her, and instead of
- 3:10Speaker 1: like doing a proposal box with all this random stuff,
- 3:13Speaker 1: instead she decided to pay for an experience.
- 3:16Speaker 2: So we ended up doing this.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Little teeky boat situation where it basically looks like a
- 3:21Speaker 1: tiki hut and it's a boat that goes on the
- 3:23Speaker 1: Ottawa River and you kind of just see like sights
- 3:26Speaker 1: of Ottawa and there's a bar so you can obviously
- 3:29Speaker 1: get a few drinks and just kind of mingle with
- 3:30Speaker 1: the girls and all that. So there was about I
- 3:33Speaker 1: think nine of us on this teeky hout boat and yeah,
- 3:36Speaker 1: it was such a fun experience to do with the girls,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and then we went out to dinner after and yeah,
- 3:41Speaker 1: that was kind of that night. And then Saturday morning
- 3:44Speaker 1: we were all feeling a little hungover. Not gonna lie,
- 3:46Speaker 1: I only had three drinks, but because I don't drink,
- 3:49Speaker 1: I feel like everything just hits so much harder. I
- 3:53Speaker 1: had literally one shot, and I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 3:55Speaker 1: what am I doing here? Like, Oh, anyways, don't ever
- 3:58Speaker 1: do shots. You only tap of shots. I'll be doing
- 4:00Speaker 1: is ginger shots, not tequila, vodka whatever shots they're giving me.
- 4:04Speaker 1: But Anyways, took a shot, had a few apprell spritses,
- 4:07Speaker 1: was feeling a little too good, woke up feeling like
- 4:10Speaker 1: crap on Saturday. Not gonna lie, but I was like,
- 4:12Speaker 1: you know what, I never do that. It was a
- 4:14Speaker 1: fun little girl's weekend.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I'm not gonna complain about that.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And I ended up going to my girlfriend's cottage because
- 4:21Speaker 1: it's not that far from here, It's about an hour away.
- 4:23Speaker 1: So we just went up for the day and we
- 4:25Speaker 1: went on her pontoon boat and she had one of
- 4:27Speaker 1: those floating mats that you can attach to the boat
- 4:30Speaker 1: and tan on and you're in the middle of the lake.
- 4:33Speaker 1: So we were on this floating mat for like, I think,
- 4:35Speaker 1: like four hours I'm not even over exaggerating, in the
- 4:37Speaker 1: middle of the lake, just chilling, talking, catching up. And
- 4:41Speaker 1: we did that from like one pm to like five pm,
- 4:44Speaker 1: and then we went on a little sunset boat ride,
- 4:46Speaker 1: enjoyed the sunset, and then I came home. In Sunday,
- 4:49Speaker 1: I wanted to do a whole Sunday reset, and I
- 4:52Speaker 1: was just so tired from being in the sun all
- 4:54Speaker 1: day on Saturday that I literally just had the most
- 4:56Speaker 1: chill Sunday, which is so Okay, you have to listen
- 4:59Speaker 1: to your body and not like force things on yourself.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I did do a workout on Sunday, which I was
- 5:03Speaker 1: very proud of myself for doing, because I was already
- 5:05Speaker 1: so tired from you know, going out Friday and you know,
- 5:09Speaker 1: being out in the sun all day at the cottage
- 5:11Speaker 1: on Saturday that I really was shocked that I was
- 5:14Speaker 1: able to get to the workout class. But I was
- 5:15Speaker 1: proud of myself for that. But I decided to just
- 5:18Speaker 1: you know, not do a little reset and just kind
- 5:19Speaker 1: of listen to my body and just chill. And I
- 5:22Speaker 1: just went to my parents' backyard and I literally just
- 5:25Speaker 1: sat on their couch for maybe four hours and just
- 5:27Speaker 1: kind of chilled.
- 5:28Speaker 2: It was really nice.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So anyways, very much a fun solo weekend with the
- 5:32Speaker 1: girls and just enjoying some you know, chill time.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Which was really nice.
- 5:36Speaker 1: And next weekend, not this coming weekend, but the following weekend,
- 5:40Speaker 1: I go to my best friends bachourette in Montreal, which
- 5:43Speaker 1: I'm very excited about. And then this weekend, I think
- 5:46Speaker 1: Zach and I are just doing a few date nights
- 5:48Speaker 1: because we haven't really had a few date nights in
- 5:50Speaker 1: the summer. Yet we have two places that we really
- 5:52Speaker 1: want to go to that we usually go to for
- 5:55Speaker 1: date nights, So it's very much going to be a
- 5:57Speaker 1: cute little couple weekend. Him and I just kind of
- 5:59Speaker 1: enjoying a summer weekend together. So I'm very excited about that.
- 6:03Speaker 1: But I hope you guys are having a good summer
- 6:05Speaker 1: so far. I wanted to talk about July goals because
- 6:08Speaker 1: we never touched on that last episode, which was my
- 6:12Speaker 1: first episode of July, and we did a sip and
- 6:14Speaker 1: spill episode with my sister, so if you haven't listened
- 6:17Speaker 1: to that episode, make sure to do so.
- 6:19Speaker 2: We answered a lot of.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Questions that you guys had just about advice on friendships, breakups,
- 6:25Speaker 1: you know, career changes, all that, and then this episode,
- 6:28Speaker 1: I really wanted to make it about just July goals,
- 6:31Speaker 1: things that I'm trying to achieve this month, on top
- 6:34Speaker 1: of just summer must haves and favorites, because we're halfway
- 6:38Speaker 1: through the summer now and I feel like there's a
- 6:39Speaker 1: lot of things that I've recently got that I wanted
- 6:42Speaker 1: to share with you guys that I've been loving for
- 6:44Speaker 1: the summer. When it comes to skincare products, beauty products,
- 6:48Speaker 1: you know, apparel pieces, recipes. I've been loving all that.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I just always loved doing these kind of episodes because
- 6:54Speaker 1: I feel like I do it maybe once every three months.
- 6:56Speaker 1: I kind of just touch based on a few things
- 6:58Speaker 1: that I've recently discovered that I really love, and I
- 7:00Speaker 1: know you guys love hearing those things as well, because
- 7:02Speaker 1: it could be something that you can try out or
- 7:04Speaker 1: something that you've been thinking about trying out. All that.
- 7:07Speaker 1: So this episode's really just going to be about must
- 7:10Speaker 1: have and favorite things that I've recently discovered for the
- 7:12Speaker 1: summer season. So let's talk about my July goals, because
- 7:16Speaker 1: I have some new goals this month that I really
- 7:18Speaker 1: wanted to achieve.
- 7:19Speaker 2: A lot of it actually has to do.
- 7:21Speaker 1: With my eating habits, because I feel like I could
- 7:24Speaker 1: make some changes. I've been snacking a lot, and I
- 7:27Speaker 1: think it's very normal in the summer to indulge and
- 7:31Speaker 1: obviously kind of like get off track a bit because
- 7:34Speaker 1: I feel like we're socializing more. We're going to cottage weekends,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you know, we're kind of just getting out of the
- 7:39Speaker 1: house more, right, We're going out for dinners all that.
- 7:41Speaker 1: So I feel like on the weekends I've been kind
- 7:43Speaker 1: of like eating like shit, to be honest, and then
- 7:46Speaker 1: during the week I'm back on track, you know, back
- 7:48Speaker 1: with healthy eating all that. So I'm trying to find
- 7:51Speaker 1: a bit more of a happy medium where I'm more
- 7:54Speaker 1: confident with how I'm you know eating throughout the week
- 7:57Speaker 1: and the weekends, like not in a toxic way at all.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Just like you know, I snack, for example, a lot,
- 8:02Speaker 1: like I love eating chips and salsa or you know,
- 8:05Speaker 1: just like things.
- 8:06Speaker 2: That I probably like do need to do that probably not.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Like instead of having chips and salsa, maybe I can
- 8:11Speaker 1: have apple and peanut butter with instead, which is probably
- 8:14Speaker 1: a healthier alternative, right, So just kind of.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Like substituting certain things and just kind.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Of like prioritizing you know, eating healthier throughout the week
- 8:22Speaker 1: as well, because I think with me eating like crap
- 8:25Speaker 1: on the weekend is now affecting how I'm eating throughout
- 8:28Speaker 1: the week because I you know, get too attached to
- 8:31Speaker 1: those foods where I'm like, ooh, I'm creating that like
- 8:33Speaker 1: I want to eat that right now. So overall, I'm
- 8:34Speaker 1: just trying to find healthier alternatives and get back into
- 8:37Speaker 1: more of a healthier routine throughout the week when it
- 8:39Speaker 1: comes to my eating habits, and one thing that I've
- 8:41Speaker 1: actually been doing more this month already is meal prepping.
- 8:44Speaker 2: So lunch is something that I feel.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Like I always struggle with just because I don't know,
- 8:49Speaker 1: I just don't really love lunch.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I'd rather just have a breakfast.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And dinner and be good, But obviously not eating is
- 8:54Speaker 1: not good at all, So I've been trying to find
- 8:56Speaker 1: some recipes on Pinterest that are high protein to prep
- 9:00Speaker 1: doesn't take too much time obviously doesn't cost too much either.
- 9:04Speaker 1: This week I actually made a Greek passa salad, which
- 9:07Speaker 1: I used to make all the time last summer. I
- 9:09Speaker 1: was obsessed with it, and I think I had it
- 9:11Speaker 1: too much last summer where I was getting sick and
- 9:13Speaker 1: tired of it. So I haven't had it in almost
- 9:16Speaker 1: a year, and I decided to make it this week,
- 9:18Speaker 1: and I'm obsessed with how good it tastes like. I'm
- 9:20Speaker 1: actually so happy I made it. It's a chick peat
- 9:23Speaker 1: protein pasta, so it has about twenty grams per serving,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and I just put like peppers, red onion, cucumber, grape tomatoes, feta, cheese,
- 9:32Speaker 1: and then a Greek dressing on top, very simple, very
- 9:35Speaker 1: easy to prep and yeah, I've just been loving that.
- 9:38Speaker 2: So I did that this week.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Last week I did a taco salad, so I prepped
- 9:42Speaker 1: ground beef with taco seasoning and I bought this like
- 9:45Speaker 1: Mexican salad mixed from Costco, added some sweet potato, some avocado,
- 9:49Speaker 1: and had myself a little lunch for the week. So
- 9:53Speaker 1: I have expressed how meal prepping has always been a
- 9:55Speaker 1: hit and miss for me because I don't love eating
- 9:57Speaker 1: the same thing every day. But what I've been trying
- 10:00Speaker 1: to do is I've been trying to, you know, use
- 10:02Speaker 1: the stuff that I prepped and kind of create it
- 10:04Speaker 1: in a different way. So today I actually had the
- 10:05Speaker 1: passa salad on the side, and then I also cooked
- 10:07Speaker 1: a chicken breast, so I had kind of it as
- 10:09Speaker 1: a side versus just like the whole meal. So kind
- 10:12Speaker 1: of doing that so kind of taste a bit different.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm not just having the passa salad. I'm having two
- 10:16Speaker 1: different things. So I've been trying to do that that way,
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm not eating the same thing every day. So that's
- 10:20Speaker 1: what I've been doing, trying to just make it taste
- 10:22Speaker 1: a little bit different. Another thing I'm trying to make
- 10:24Speaker 1: a goal this month is doing more hobbies and stuff
- 10:27Speaker 1: on my summer bucket list.
- 10:29Speaker 2: So I feel like there's a lot of things that
- 10:30Speaker 2: I talked about.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Like running, pickleball, tennis, golf, all that, and I feel
- 10:35Speaker 1: like Zach and I haven't really had the time to
- 10:37Speaker 1: do those things.
- 10:37Speaker 2: So I really want to try and make it.
- 10:38Speaker 1: A priority, whether it's a night after work or you know,
- 10:42Speaker 1: a Sunday morning or something like that. If we're really
- 10:44Speaker 1: busy on the Saturday and Friday and we don't you know,
- 10:46Speaker 1: have the time to do those hobbies at that time,
- 10:49Speaker 1: let's try and make it a priority by doing it
- 10:51Speaker 1: throughout our schedule. So for us, you know, Thursday nights
- 10:54Speaker 1: are usually free, so maybe we need to make Thursday
- 10:56Speaker 1: nights a night where we can go play pickleball or tennis,
- 10:58Speaker 1: or go for a round of golf, or go to
- 11:00Speaker 1: the driving range, whatever it is. So I think we
- 11:02Speaker 1: just need to both kind of realize that we only
- 11:04Speaker 1: have like maybe seven weeks of summer left and just
- 11:07Speaker 1: kind of take it as a sign that we should
- 11:10Speaker 1: really make these next few weeks a priority of just
- 11:12Speaker 1: you know, throwing in these little hobbies that we love
- 11:15Speaker 1: to do and just again gets us outside, It gets
- 11:17Speaker 1: us off our phones, it gets us to just kind
- 11:19Speaker 1: of get outside together and do something fun. So yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 1: definitely something I want to do. On top of just
- 11:25Speaker 1: going through my summer bucket liss again and trying to
- 11:27Speaker 1: like check off things that I haven't done. There's actually
- 11:30Speaker 1: three things that we're doing this weekend that I just
- 11:32Speaker 1: thought of that are on my bucket list that I've
- 11:34Speaker 1: been wanting to do with Zach. So I'm really excited
- 11:36Speaker 1: about that. We're going to do a wine tour at
- 11:40Speaker 1: this vineyard close by.
- 11:41Speaker 2: We're going to go to.
- 11:43Speaker 1: The Farmer's market on Saturday, and then I think we're
- 11:46Speaker 1: going to go out for dinner either at this restaurant
- 11:48Speaker 1: we love, or we're going to do like a picnic
- 11:51Speaker 1: at the beach with pizza because every mid July we
- 11:54Speaker 1: usually do a little pizza beach night, So I'm excited
- 11:58Speaker 1: for that. The last goal of mine I really want
- 12:00Speaker 1: to make a priority is reading more. So I've been
- 12:03Speaker 1: trying to make my weekend mornings a priority to instead
- 12:07Speaker 1: of scroll on my phone or work, and because I'm
- 12:10Speaker 1: trying to be more present on the weekends is read.
- 12:13Speaker 1: So taking like, you know, two hours of whether it's
- 12:16Speaker 1: tanning outside or sitting outside to eat breakfast or with
- 12:19Speaker 1: my coffee, to just like take an hour even or
- 12:22Speaker 1: even thirty minutes just to read a few pages of
- 12:24Speaker 1: a book. I recently just purchased the second book of
- 12:29Speaker 1: The Housemaid. I think I told you guys that I
- 12:31Speaker 1: read that book when I was in Mexico with Zach.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I was obsessed with it. They're coming out with a movie,
- 12:35Speaker 1: I believe in December, and I really wanted to read
- 12:38Speaker 1: the second book, so I just recently ordered that on
- 12:41Speaker 1: the kindle. So I only read the first like maybe
- 12:44Speaker 1: two chapters, like very much. Not into the book right now,
- 12:47Speaker 1: but I really want to finish that book before the
- 12:49Speaker 1: end of the summer. That way, I get to three
- 12:52Speaker 1: books completed for the year so far. I think my
- 12:55Speaker 1: goal was twelve, which I feel like that was so
- 12:57Speaker 1: bold of me. But maybe we can at least make sick.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I think we could do six, because I do think
- 13:02Speaker 1: I'm going on another trip at the end of August.
- 13:04Speaker 2: I don't know yet.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I will confirm next episode if we are going away
- 13:08Speaker 1: or not. Zach's been trying to get time off work
- 13:11Speaker 1: for us to go somewhere for our anniversaries. So guys,
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my god, the fact I have to
- 13:16Speaker 1: say that, I cannot believe it's our first wedding anniversary
- 13:18Speaker 1: in like three weeks, which is.
- 13:20Speaker 2: So wild to me. How have I been married for
- 13:22Speaker 2: a year.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, Sorry that just clicked and I'm just like, wow,
- 13:26Speaker 1: crazy time flies. But yeah, so we're thinking of doing
- 13:30Speaker 1: something for our anniversary. It's not going to be on
- 13:32Speaker 1: our anniversary weekend. It's probably going to be like a
- 13:34Speaker 1: week or two after that. But still the purpose of
- 13:36Speaker 1: the trip was just to kind of celebrate our one
- 13:39Speaker 1: year of marriage. So I'm hoping and crossing my fingers
- 13:42Speaker 1: that Zach can get the time off work. But if
- 13:44Speaker 1: I'm going on another trip, then you best be knowing
- 13:46Speaker 1: that I'll be ordering at least one or two books
- 13:49Speaker 1: to read, because I know for a fact that I'm
- 13:51Speaker 1: going to be sitting on those beach chairs and just scrolling.
- 13:54Speaker 2: On my phone when I don't need to do that.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I can definitely find an.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Hour at least an hour of that beach session of
- 14:00Speaker 1: reading my books. So maybe we could read two books
- 14:03Speaker 1: that trip. That would be a very impressive goal. For myself,
- 14:06Speaker 1: but let's just maybe say one, let's be more realisticure
- 14:08Speaker 1: for me, but at the end of the day, we're
- 14:11Speaker 1: definitely going to read at least one or two books
- 14:13Speaker 1: before the end of the summer. So those are my
- 14:15Speaker 1: July goals that are new, I would say. The other
- 14:17Speaker 1: goals that I've tried to maintain throughout the summer is
- 14:19Speaker 1: obviously continuing my five am morning routine, which I've been loving,
- 14:23Speaker 1: going on my sunrise walks, trying to make walking a
- 14:25Speaker 1: big priority. I try and go for like two to
- 14:27Speaker 1: three walks a day to get to ten thousand steps,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and then you know, trying to do some type of
- 14:33Speaker 1: workout throughout each day. I've been working out like six
- 14:36Speaker 1: times a week, which honestly might be too much on
- 14:38Speaker 1: my body some days, but I do love working out.
- 14:41Speaker 1: It's not like it's a punishment, like I just love it. It's
- 14:43Speaker 1: just my body's been telling me you need to slow down,
- 14:46Speaker 1: you're overdoing it sometimes, Like sometimes I'll do two workouts
- 14:48Speaker 1: in one day. I know that sounds crazy, but it's
- 14:51Speaker 1: because I actually want to do the workouts.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I just I have so much fun in these classes.
- 14:55Speaker 2: I think it's so enjoyable.
- 14:57Speaker 1: But yeah, sometimes I think I need to like listen
- 14:59Speaker 1: to my body and just relax and not overdo it
- 15:02Speaker 1: too much sometimes. But yeah, still incorporating those goals as
- 15:06Speaker 1: well throughout the summer. But I just wanted to share
- 15:07Speaker 1: new ones that I've been trying to make a priority
- 15:09Speaker 1: this month. All right, So let's get into some summer
- 15:12Speaker 1: must haves and favorites so far. As I said, we're
- 15:15Speaker 1: already halfway through summer, so I thought I would share
- 15:18Speaker 1: some things that I've been loving this summer so far
- 15:21Speaker 1: that I had recently purchased or have purchased a few
- 15:23Speaker 1: weeks back, that I thought I would share with you guys.
- 15:26Speaker 2: So let's talk about.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Beauty in skincare products first. One thing that I've been
- 15:30Speaker 1: loving that I actually just got, I think two or
- 15:32Speaker 1: three weeks ago, is a tinted sunscreen that I just
- 15:35Speaker 1: recently came across, this brand called Isden. It's a tinted
- 15:39Speaker 1: SBF fifty and it's so good, guys. The color match
- 15:43Speaker 1: for my skin is spectacular. I believe they have different
- 15:46Speaker 1: shades as well, so if you are more fair skin,
- 15:49Speaker 1: they have ones that are more fair. If you're more
- 15:51Speaker 1: of like an olive skin tone like me, where you're
- 15:53Speaker 1: a bit darker, they have that and then you know
- 15:55Speaker 1: the shades go on. But I absolutely love it. I
- 15:58Speaker 1: feel like the texture is so sheer, which is what
- 16:01Speaker 1: I love about a face sunscreen. I hate when something
- 16:04Speaker 1: takes forever to absorb in your skin. And yeah, just
- 16:07Speaker 1: ten out of ten recommend it. It was something that I've
- 16:10Speaker 1: never used before in my life, but it was a
- 16:12Speaker 1: really good find. I got it off the brand Dirm Store,
- 16:15Speaker 1: So if you're looking for is Den sunscreen specifically, I
- 16:18Speaker 1: think it's very difficult to get in Canada if you're
- 16:20Speaker 1: from Canada, so Dirm store sells it if you're interested
- 16:23Speaker 1: and you're from Canada, I believe if you're in the States,
- 16:25Speaker 1: it's really easy to get off Amazon or honestly anywhere.
- 16:29Speaker 1: Can we also talk about just how much of a
- 16:31Speaker 1: difference it makes when you are tanned in the summer.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I feel like my confidence has been so much better
- 16:37Speaker 1: since the winter. I just feel like having a tan
- 16:40Speaker 1: just literally revives me. I don't even know how to
- 16:42Speaker 1: explain it, but I feel like even putting makeup on,
- 16:45Speaker 1: I just feel ten times better and I feel prettier
- 16:48Speaker 1: than I ever have like. I don't know if anyone
- 16:50Speaker 1: can relate to that, But one thing that I've been
- 16:52Speaker 1: loving while doing my makeup on top of a tan obviously,
- 16:56Speaker 1: is trying out different blush colors. I've recently started to
- 16:59Speaker 1: incorporate different colors. One specifically I started to try out
- 17:02Speaker 1: recently is a bright red blush. I never thought bright
- 17:06Speaker 1: red would look good on my skin tone, but I'm
- 17:08Speaker 1: obsessed with it. I find it really does achieve that
- 17:10Speaker 1: like sun burnt look. I also really love the peachy
- 17:14Speaker 1: and corai blushes. I know. Hailey Bieber's brand Road just
- 17:17Speaker 1: came out with this new blush that everyone's raving about
- 17:20Speaker 1: from her new I think it's like her Lemonade collection
- 17:23Speaker 1: or something like that. They came up with new blush
- 17:25Speaker 1: shades and it's more of like a peachey coral one
- 17:27Speaker 1: and I've been dying to get my hands on it
- 17:29Speaker 1: because it looks so gorgeous. But yeah, I've been trying
- 17:31Speaker 1: to experiment with different blushes just because now that I'm
- 17:34Speaker 1: tanned and feeling more confident, might as well try some
- 17:37Speaker 1: fun colors out and see how it looks on my
- 17:39Speaker 1: skin tone. So I've been trying to do different makeup
- 17:41Speaker 1: for the summer, to change it up a bit. I
- 17:43Speaker 1: still kind of use the same like foundation and concealer
- 17:47Speaker 1: and all that, but I'm trying to have fun with
- 17:48Speaker 1: like my blushes, my eyeshadow, and my lip color as well.
- 17:53Speaker 1: I am pretty basic when it comes to my makeup,
- 17:55Speaker 1: just because, like, I do what works for me, and
- 17:57Speaker 1: I don't really like changing it when I think it
- 17:58Speaker 1: looks good. But sometimes is good to obviously change it
- 18:01Speaker 1: up a little bit and get out of your comfort zone.
- 18:03Speaker 1: We talked about this a few weeks ago, but I'm
- 18:05Speaker 1: still obsessed with the freckle pens. Me and my sister
- 18:08Speaker 1: are hooked on the freckle pens from Amazon. Literally, the
- 18:11Speaker 1: most natural freckles I am obsessed with is how it
- 18:14Speaker 1: makes my face look. I find it just makes me
- 18:16Speaker 1: look a bit more tanned as well. I'm obsessed with
- 18:19Speaker 1: just freckle pens in general. I just find freckles on
- 18:21Speaker 1: your nose and your face are so beautiful. At TikTok
- 18:24Speaker 1: that I recently saw from a girl, she was doing
- 18:27Speaker 1: the freckle trend on her face, but instead of using
- 18:29Speaker 1: a freckle pen, she was actually using Hannah. So if
- 18:32Speaker 1: you guys don't know what Hannah is. It's essentially just
- 18:34Speaker 1: temporary body art that you can use and it lasts
- 18:37Speaker 1: about like.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Two to three weeks.
- 18:39Speaker 1: So I've been seeing a few girls do this on
- 18:41Speaker 1: their face and the freckles look very natural. You can,
- 18:44Speaker 1: you know, wash your face and it wouldn't come off.
- 18:46Speaker 1: So it lasts for a few weeks, which is nice,
- 18:49Speaker 1: and you don't have to like reapply it all the time.
- 18:51Speaker 1: So I've been wanting to order it from Amazon and
- 18:53Speaker 1: try it out. I will let you guys know how
- 18:56Speaker 1: it goes. Obviously, it's something that I've never done before,
- 18:58Speaker 1: so I don't want to like over sell it. But
- 19:00Speaker 1: if you search Hannah on TikTok and you or Hennah Freckles, Sorry,
- 19:04Speaker 1: don't just search Hannah, search Hennah freckles, You'll see some
- 19:07Speaker 1: girls do it and you'll see how natural and good
- 19:10Speaker 1: it looks. And it's just been something I've been wanting
- 19:12Speaker 1: to try out. Another thing I've been loving is the
- 19:14Speaker 1: Kapari Face sunscreen. Wow, this sunscreen is insane. I know
- 19:20Speaker 1: I talked about the tinted sunscreen, but when I have
- 19:23Speaker 1: makeup on and I want to reapply my SPF, the
- 19:25Speaker 1: Kapari one is the best because it's a spray, so
- 19:29Speaker 1: you don't have to worry about ruining your makeup because
- 19:31Speaker 1: think sunscreen, you think lotion, and when you apply it
- 19:34Speaker 1: on your face, obviously it's going to ruin your makeup.
- 19:36Speaker 1: But this one by Kapari is a setting spray or
- 19:39Speaker 1: a setting mist, and it's an SPF fifty and every
- 19:42Speaker 1: two hours you can just reapply it and it's kind
- 19:44Speaker 1: of got this like glowy look as well to it.
- 19:47Speaker 1: So highly recommend this. You can get it off Revolve,
- 19:50Speaker 1: I believe, and from the Kapari website as well. Another
- 19:53Speaker 1: thing that I recently discovered is a body glow. So
- 19:56Speaker 1: I feel like body glow has been really popular these
- 19:58Speaker 1: past few years, to be honest. And one brand that
- 20:02Speaker 1: recently just launched this new body glow that I got
- 20:05Speaker 1: in pr I think about, I don't know, like a
- 20:07Speaker 1: month ago, is the brand Lacutane. It's like this shimmery
- 20:11Speaker 1: body oil. Oh my god, guys. Someone actually commented on
- 20:16Speaker 1: a video two weeks ago of me using the product,
- 20:19Speaker 1: and I didn't think anyone would notice, and then this
- 20:22Speaker 1: girl message she's like, wow, your tan looks amazing, Like
- 20:25Speaker 1: what did you use on your body? Like, it just
- 20:27Speaker 1: looks so glowy, and I'm like it worked. Somebody noticed
- 20:30Speaker 1: it looks good. It did make me look much tanner,
- 20:33Speaker 1: to be honest, I think just because the oil creates
- 20:35Speaker 1: like that deeper tan look as well. But it's by
- 20:38Speaker 1: the brand Locutane. You can get it at Sephora. It's
- 20:41Speaker 1: so good, guys, I can't even describe like how I
- 20:44Speaker 1: feel about this product. It's I've been using it every day,
- 20:46Speaker 1: not even gonna lie just putting it on my arms,
- 20:48Speaker 1: my chest, you can put it honestly everywhere, and it's
- 20:53Speaker 1: really good for like a pre going out look as well.
- 20:55Speaker 1: So obviously doing makeup on your face, it's important to
- 20:58Speaker 1: put the body glow as well on to really just
- 21:01Speaker 1: add to your outfit. I feel like it's an accessory now,
- 21:03Speaker 1: like it really just emphasizes your whole outfit when you
- 21:07Speaker 1: have bodyglow on. I'm not a big perfume girl, but
- 21:11Speaker 1: I did recently get this brand called per They do
- 21:15Speaker 1: a lot of good perfume sense and they just came
- 21:18Speaker 1: out with a few different scents and one that they
- 21:20Speaker 1: just came out with is called Pure Vanilla, and it's
- 21:23Speaker 1: a vanilla sent and it smells insane, so I've been
- 21:26Speaker 1: using that whenever.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I go out.
- 21:28Speaker 1: It's also a hair perfume as well, so you can
- 21:31Speaker 1: really just spread everywhere, which I love. And then I've
- 21:34Speaker 1: also been really into hair mass right now, just because
- 21:37Speaker 1: i feel like with the summer season, I feel like
- 21:40Speaker 1: the sun and you know, salt water when you're in
- 21:43Speaker 1: like the pool or the lake, it's kind of stripping
- 21:46Speaker 1: on the hair. So I've been trying to do some
- 21:49Speaker 1: hair mass. I've been also trying to get my hands
- 21:51Speaker 1: on some SBF for your hair. That is a thing
- 21:54Speaker 1: you can get sunscreen for your hair, just to protect
- 21:58Speaker 1: it from you know, changing colors, stripping anything like that
- 22:01Speaker 1: or anything that could be damaging.
- 22:02Speaker 2: So just trying to.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Make my hair health a priority throughout the summer season
- 22:06Speaker 1: as well. All right, let's talk about some clothing products
- 22:09Speaker 1: that I've recently got that I've been really loving this summer.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I recently just got these new flip flops and I'm
- 22:16Speaker 1: obsessed with them. They have a white thong that is
- 22:20Speaker 1: what I'm gonna call it, just because it's the little
- 22:23Speaker 1: piece that's in between your toes and then the bottom
- 22:25Speaker 1: part's black, but I love when flip flops are colorful.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I feel like it's been really fun for summer.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I just ordered a red pair of flip flops. I
- 22:33Speaker 1: love my black pair by the brand Haviana. If you
- 22:36Speaker 1: guys don't know the Haaviana flip flops, you need to
- 22:39Speaker 1: get on it. Square toe flip flops has changed my life.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I'm not even over exaggerating. It's so much more higher end.
- 22:45Speaker 1: I think the new pair that I got actually is
- 22:47Speaker 1: round now that I think of it. But I do
- 22:49Speaker 1: really like the square toe flip flops. I think they're
- 22:51Speaker 1: like the best in my opinion. But I just got
- 22:54Speaker 1: a cute pair from the brand Jeffrey Campbell from Revolve,
- 22:57Speaker 1: super affordable, and it just has like a white thong
- 22:59Speaker 1: versus black one. But I just like how the colors
- 23:01Speaker 1: contrast's really nice together and it's still very much a
- 23:04Speaker 1: neutral flip flop that you could wear with anything. So yeah,
- 23:08Speaker 1: I recently got those from Revolve. I also recently just
- 23:10Speaker 1: got sun dresses, so summer dresses, just being able to
- 23:14Speaker 1: slip on a dress when you leave the house. I
- 23:16Speaker 1: just felt like I needed a few dresses, so I
- 23:19Speaker 1: had that option of just throwing something on when I leave.
- 23:22Speaker 1: I just recently got this poka dot dress from Zara,
- 23:24Speaker 1: and I'm obsessed with it. It's like this white dress
- 23:27Speaker 1: with brown polka dots on it, and it's a Maxi dress.
- 23:31Speaker 1: It's like I think it was like sixty bucks.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Very flattering.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I will make sure to link it in case any
- 23:35Speaker 1: of you guys are interested, but really like that dress.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I think it's very flattering for the summer season. I
- 23:40Speaker 1: also got this white summer dress. I feel like white
- 23:44Speaker 1: in the summer just hits different. I ordered a lot
- 23:46Speaker 1: of white. I'm not even over exaggerating. I feel like
- 23:48Speaker 1: my bridal era again. But there's something that just hits
- 23:52Speaker 1: different in the summer with white. I think it's because
- 23:54Speaker 1: I never wear white in the winter because I feel
- 23:56Speaker 1: so pale. So in the summer when I'm feeling tanned,
- 24:00Speaker 1: I really want to wear white. So anything white I'm
- 24:02Speaker 1: basically buying. Or anything yellow, pale yellow has been so
- 24:06Speaker 1: in I've been loving yellow tank tops, yellow dresses, yellow
- 24:10Speaker 1: tube tops. Honestly, anything yellow I'm wearing right now. I
- 24:13Speaker 1: also love anything striped or plaid. So if I see
- 24:15Speaker 1: any cute like matching sets, whether it's at a top
- 24:18Speaker 1: in a skirt or a mini dress, anything striped or
- 24:21Speaker 1: plaid or even tank tops to wear with like you know,
- 24:24Speaker 1: cargo pants or linen pants. Linen pants are also obviously
- 24:27Speaker 1: really big in the summer. Love going for something with
- 24:30Speaker 1: some pattern. I also love wearing bucket hats or cowboy
- 24:33Speaker 1: hats in the summer to protect my face just from
- 24:36Speaker 1: having too much sun. I also love crochet bandanas. I
- 24:40Speaker 1: think that's been really cute for European summer. If you
- 24:43Speaker 1: want that European look, the crochet bandanas have been very
- 24:47Speaker 1: in and then obviously bucket hats have been in forever.
- 24:49Speaker 1: But I just love, you know, wearing hats more in
- 24:52Speaker 1: the summer because I feel like it's something to have
- 24:54Speaker 1: as an accessory and you can just really style it
- 24:57Speaker 1: in any way you want with your like bikinis or
- 25:02Speaker 1: outfits for your summer look. For workout sets, I've been
- 25:05Speaker 1: loving really colorful workout sets. I think in the summer
- 25:08Speaker 1: it's time to just pick colors that are really out
- 25:10Speaker 1: of your comfort zone, things that are really bright and fun,
- 25:13Speaker 1: whether it's royal blue or red, or baby pink or
- 25:16Speaker 1: bright yellow. Like wearing colors that are just like very summery.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I think makes it more fun to wear something like
- 25:23Speaker 1: that to a workout class or pilates or.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Whatever the case may be.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I also have been loving the layering workout sets, So
- 25:30Speaker 1: when you layer your sports bra with another sports bra,
- 25:34Speaker 1: I've been doing fun colors, like two different shades of
- 25:36Speaker 1: blue or you know, white and yellow or pink and red.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Like just having fun with the colors of your sports
- 25:43Speaker 1: bra and doing the layering I think is really really
- 25:47Speaker 1: cute as well. Another thing that I think is a
- 25:49Speaker 1: must have for the summer season is a good clutch.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I have been raving about my Arafia clutch that I
- 25:55Speaker 1: got from Dynamite. If you guys follow me on Instagram,
- 25:57Speaker 1: that you guys know the clutch I'm talking about because
- 25:59Speaker 1: that's all I wear, like literally every single one of
- 26:01Speaker 1: my Instagram stories, you guys are like, oh my god,
- 26:03Speaker 1: the clutch is back at it again, because I'm that
- 26:06Speaker 1: obsessed with it. It's the perfect summer bag because it's small,
- 26:10Speaker 1: but you can fit so much in this bag, like
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm not even over exaggerating, and I think it's like
- 26:15Speaker 1: thirty nine dollars. It's super affordable, and I just bring
- 26:18Speaker 1: it everywhere with me, and it's just the perfect go
- 26:21Speaker 1: to clutch that I've been.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Using all summer long.
- 26:24Speaker 1: The last thing that I would say for apparel that's
- 26:26Speaker 1: a must have for the summer is a good pair
- 26:28Speaker 1: of sunnies. I think the sunglasses are a huge accessory
- 26:32Speaker 1: that everybody needs to have, Like any good type of sunglass,
- 26:35Speaker 1: you just need a staple sunglass for the summer. You
- 26:38Speaker 1: can get so many cute pairs from Amazon. My sister
- 26:41Speaker 1: actually just recently got a pair that comes in a
- 26:44Speaker 1: three pack with three different shades and it's like a
- 26:48Speaker 1: really like stunning kind of square oval frame. I will
- 26:51Speaker 1: link them and I just recently ordered them myself because
- 26:54Speaker 1: I really like them, and I think it was like
- 26:55Speaker 1: twelve dollars for three, which we love. We love affordable sunglasses.
- 26:59Speaker 1: And then I have my go to pair that are
- 27:01Speaker 1: a bit more expensive. They're from the brand Valet. You
- 27:04Speaker 1: probably have seen me wear them. I've worn them since
- 27:06Speaker 1: my trip to Mexico, to be honest. They're just like
- 27:08Speaker 1: a really nice black oval sunny. They're just like very
- 27:11Speaker 1: very chic in my opinion, like just like a staple
- 27:13Speaker 1: sunglass to have in your collection. I know I'm going
- 27:16Speaker 1: to wear them for a very long time. I feel
- 27:18Speaker 1: like it's something that's not really going to go out
- 27:19Speaker 1: of style. But they're very flattering, and again they were
- 27:23Speaker 1: a bit more on the expensive side, but I know
- 27:25Speaker 1: I'm going to get a lot of use out of them.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I've already been wearing them so much. But you know,
- 27:29Speaker 1: I do find it's worth investing in sunglasses if they
- 27:32Speaker 1: look really good on you, you know what I mean, Like
- 27:34Speaker 1: if you think these sunglasses suit your face really well.
- 27:37Speaker 1: And some people do struggle to find sunglasses that suit
- 27:40Speaker 1: their face, whether it's too big or too small on
- 27:42Speaker 1: your face. Like when you find a good pair, I
- 27:44Speaker 1: feel like sometimes it's worth splurging and getting a good
- 27:47Speaker 1: pair of sunnies to the summer. So yeah, definitely make
- 27:51Speaker 1: sure to have a good pair of sunglasses for the
- 27:53Speaker 1: summer season. Okay, let's talk about some recipes that I've
- 27:56Speaker 1: been loving for the summer. I think one thing for
- 27:59Speaker 1: me that I have been really loving for summer recipes
- 28:02Speaker 1: specifically is summer salads. I love having a salad in
- 28:06Speaker 1: the summer. I think it just hits different. Making different
- 28:09Speaker 1: types of salads like a watermelon mint salad is something
- 28:12Speaker 1: I've been doing I've also been loving the peach barada salads.
- 28:17Speaker 1: That's actually something we're making this week with steak. Oh
- 28:20Speaker 1: I haven't made it with steak. I've only made it
- 28:21Speaker 1: with chicken this summer. But with steak, I think it's
- 28:24Speaker 1: gonna slap. You just add a arugula, red onion, peaches,
- 28:28Speaker 1: and barrada and then you do like a balsamic glaze
- 28:30Speaker 1: on top. Oh my gosh. I will make sure to
- 28:33Speaker 1: post a video maybe making that gener recipe because it's
- 28:38Speaker 1: so good and I think everybody needs to make it themselves.
- 28:41Speaker 1: But I think salads in general just hit so much
- 28:44Speaker 1: different in the summer, and it's something that I always
- 28:46Speaker 1: look forward to making. I also always love having corn.
- 28:49Speaker 2: On the cob.
- 28:49Speaker 1: I think that's a must have in the summer because
- 28:51Speaker 1: it's corn season. I love putting corn on the cob
- 28:55Speaker 1: on the barbecue. Like one thing we've been doing since
- 28:57Speaker 1: we got a barbecue is we've been having barbecue chicken
- 29:00Speaker 1: breasts and then we'll put the corn on the cob
- 29:02Speaker 1: on the barbecue as well some broccoli or asparagus, and
- 29:05Speaker 1: we'll just have that for dinner, like something very super
- 29:07Speaker 1: simple like that, And it's always so good, and yeah,
- 29:11Speaker 1: I just love corn on the cob so much. Other
- 29:13Speaker 1: things I've been loving are Greek wraps, pasta salad. As
- 29:17Speaker 1: I said, I've also been loving chicken kebab so chicken
- 29:21Speaker 1: with peppers, onion, bacon, just like putting it on the barbecue,
- 29:26Speaker 1: taco salads, stuffed taco peppers.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Wood fire pizza.
- 29:31Speaker 1: My parents actually have a wood fire pizza in their backyard,
- 29:34Speaker 1: and oh my gosh, wood fire pizza just hits so
- 29:36Speaker 1: much different when it's a wood fire versus like an
- 29:39Speaker 1: oven pizza. The taste of it just tastes so much different.
- 29:41Speaker 1: It tastes like restaurant quality pizza. But yeah, wood fire
- 29:45Speaker 1: pizza has been also something we've really been enjoying for
- 29:48Speaker 1: the summer. And then other random things that I just
- 29:50Speaker 1: wanted to share that I've been obviously using a lot
- 29:54Speaker 1: of this summer season is Electrolytes. I feel like, because
- 29:57Speaker 1: it's been super hot out lately, I've been trying to
- 29:59Speaker 1: have electrolate almost every day. I'll try and have like
- 30:02Speaker 1: two bottles of water and then after that I'll have
- 30:05Speaker 1: my electrolytes. Two brands that I've been loving lately is
- 30:08Speaker 1: the brand Pro Mix. They have a flavor called Fuzzy
- 30:12Speaker 1: Peach and Raspberry Salt, so good. I really really like
- 30:16Speaker 1: those two flavors from that brand. And then I've also
- 30:19Speaker 1: been loving Liquid IV. They have a lot of good
- 30:21Speaker 1: flavors from their brand as well. And then I've also
- 30:25Speaker 1: been loving Organica. They have really good flavors like pink lemonade, raspberry, pineapple, mango. Anyways,
- 30:32Speaker 1: I love electrolytes. I do find it's kind of addicting
- 30:34Speaker 1: because it kind of tastes like juice in the adult world,
- 30:37Speaker 1: I find, but there's no sugar in it, so I mean,
- 30:41Speaker 1: there's like stivia and other stuff in it that's probably
- 30:43Speaker 1: not good for you. But hey, Lisa, I'm not drinking
- 30:47Speaker 1: alcohol every night. I also don't even drink soda. The
- 30:49Speaker 1: only soda I'll actually drink is a poppy, but yeah,
- 30:53Speaker 1: not a big soda girl.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Obviously, I don't really drink throughout the week.
- 30:56Speaker 1: So I'm like, if electrolytes is the worst thing that
- 30:58Speaker 1: I'm having, even though electrolytes is literally supposed to be
- 31:01Speaker 1: hydrating you, Like, that's essentially what electrolytes is. It's for
- 31:04Speaker 1: hydration purposes. And yeah, so anyways, I love it. I
- 31:09Speaker 1: have it all the time, and it's just something that
- 31:11Speaker 1: I've been trying to incorporate into my routine for the
- 31:14Speaker 1: summer season. I've also been loving my de bloat drink
- 31:17Speaker 1: from Chromix. I'll have that in the morning. I feel
- 31:19Speaker 1: like that's just really helping with inflammation or any bloating
- 31:22Speaker 1: that I'm having in the morning if I've been having
- 31:24Speaker 1: any dairy, because I'm very sensitive to dairy, my stomach
- 31:27Speaker 1: hates me for having dairy, but I'm not ever removing
- 31:30Speaker 1: it from my diet because i love dairy so much.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Another thing I've been loving is doing fun colors for
- 31:36Speaker 1: my manny and petty. I usually get my nails done
- 31:39Speaker 1: and my toes done every month, so I've been really
- 31:41Speaker 1: trying to do fun colors for the summer season.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I did a bright orange last time.
- 31:47Speaker 1: This time, I still have the pink nails and I'm
- 31:49Speaker 1: getting my nails done on Thursday, I believe, and I
- 31:53Speaker 1: don't know if I want to do like a fun
- 31:55Speaker 1: baby blue or I've also been thinking about doing a
- 31:59Speaker 1: navy blue. So I did navy blue nails for Mexico
- 32:02Speaker 1: and I loved the dark blue. I did not think
- 32:05Speaker 1: I was gonna love it that much, but I did.
- 32:07Speaker 2: But I know I'm.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Gonna be getting into dark nails for the fall, so
- 32:10Speaker 1: I'm like, should I wait or I don't know. I
- 32:13Speaker 1: don't think I'll be doing baby blue nails in the
- 32:15Speaker 1: fall or winter, so that's why I'm like, maybe I
- 32:16Speaker 1: should just do baby blue, but we shall see. I
- 32:19Speaker 1: will make that decision on Thursday. And the last thing
- 32:22Speaker 1: that I try and do in the summer is get
- 32:24Speaker 1: my hair touched up, just like a little gloss or
- 32:26Speaker 1: doing some hair mass or getting a recolored or a
- 32:29Speaker 1: hair trim, whatever the case may be. I'm going to
- 32:32Speaker 1: see my hair dresser next week actually, and I think
- 32:34Speaker 1: we're gonna go a little bit darker because I feel
- 32:37Speaker 1: like with a tan, my hair always looks healthier when
- 32:40Speaker 1: it's a little bit darker, and probably get a gloss.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I don't think I need a trim, which is kind
- 32:45Speaker 1: of nice. I want to keep my hair long. I
- 32:47Speaker 1: might trim my bangs. I don't know how long my
- 32:50Speaker 1: bangs are to be honest, but overall, I'm not going
- 32:52Speaker 1: to do too much. I just kind of wanted to
- 32:54Speaker 1: get it freshened up for the end of the summer
- 32:57Speaker 1: and for fall. So we're just kind of doing a
- 32:59Speaker 1: little mid summer touchup of my hair because the last
- 33:02Speaker 1: time I got it done, I believe was before my birthday,
- 33:05Speaker 1: which was in the spring.
- 33:07Speaker 2: So I'm due for a little touch up.
- 33:09Speaker 1: And I feel like that's something that's always good to
- 33:12Speaker 1: prioritize for your confidence, is just doing the little things
- 33:15Speaker 1: that make you feel good, as I said, like whether
- 33:17Speaker 1: it's getting your nails done, getting a little hair appointment done.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Whatever the case may be.
- 33:22Speaker 1: So those have been my summer must haves and just
- 33:24Speaker 1: favorite things so far that I've been loving for the
- 33:27Speaker 1: summer season.
