- 0:13You just drop back into corporate drop out. I think this is the first guest that we've had
- 0:17that's been taller than me back then. The requirement to be on the podcast. You got to be
- 0:22six two plus reef. How are we doing today? I'm going, oh my God. How are you guys doing? I can see
- 0:27you homie. Yeah. That's fantastic. How's life been treating you. Lately, bro? It's been good living in
- 0:32the East Coast now. Okay. Brought it over to this side. Yeah, I'm on the East coast. It's been working.
- 0:38Just been chillin, staying out the way. That's what I like to hear. All right, we got. We got to
- 0:43backtrack all the way back to the beginning. Baby reef. Take us to the start. Yeah. Did you take us
- 0:49from the start? What? Who was baby reef? So baby reef, it was really like a baby Tobey
- 0:56Maguire. That was like my idol growing up. I was. It wasn't even just like Spider-Man. I just told
- 1:02Maguire. I just thought he was the coolest person ever, because I just. I thought he was Spider-Man.
- 1:06So, like, my first four years of life was a straight Spider-Man. Uh, did you move to the East
- 1:11Coast because of Spider-Man? No. It feels cool to be close to like, where Spider-Man is, though,
- 1:16because, like, it's still like when the movie came out, I was going around a day like, damn, I could
- 1:20possibly see Spider-Man today. But yeah. So, like, it's cool being close, but, uh, I would say like a
- 1:27young reef, I was, I was curious, you know, I played basketball because I was taller and I felt like I
- 1:33had to, but, like, that's not really what I wanted to do. When I was growing up, I really liked
- 1:36skateboarding, uh, music. I was like a big Odd Future kid growing up. So, like, okay, I was hanging
- 1:42around Fairfax all day, just like, you know, seeing Tyler creator trying to just dap him up. Uh. Wait,
- 1:48can you shed some light on the Fairfax for me real quick? Because when I was in middle school, I
- 1:52used to go into the bathroom and wait for the supreme drop and then buy my stuff. Were you
- 1:56pulling up to the Supreme store? Yeah, we were pulling up Supreme store. Uh, skip the line. If my
- 2:00dad was there. Yeah, skip the line. He wasn't there. He was like, nah, but. So there's a few times where
- 2:07we would pull up in those mornings and skip the lines, but yeah, Fairfax I would. My mom's going to
- 2:14see us, but, like, I would go to school. You know, my friends who would all skateboard all the way over
- 2:19to Fairfax. Sometimes we'd hop on the bus, go over there. So, so, so, like you said earlier, like time
- 2:25you didn't really want to pursue basketball. You just kind of grew up with it and you felt like
- 2:30you had to do it. Because in my opinion, if you over six two and you can't hoop, you just hop for
- 2:35no reason. Of course, that's like a rule, like that's I know that's probably the first question
- 2:39people ask you when you walk around. Oh yeah. Like how tall you do you play basketball. So like, yeah,
- 2:43I like I always just played. I was just naturally good I think because I was way bigger than every
- 2:47other kid. But like, it. Was never like your. True passion. Yeah. I was like, I'm gonna go out here,
- 2:51drop 30, and I'm like, I don't even care like that. I'm right back to Fairfax to go skateboard and
- 2:57try to do a kickflip for the first time. So can. You do a. Kickflip? Yeah, I just did it. I just did
- 3:02it for like the second time ever the other day. Okay. We might have to put this in this video. So
- 3:07did you feel like you had a pressure to hoop? I would say yes, but not from my
- 3:14family okay. It was just from the world. I mean, naturally, I think any athlete who has a son or
- 3:20any celebrity who has a kid, they want to see the kid pursue the same thing. So like, I always
- 3:25thought it was from everyone. But now growing up, realizing my family never cared if I played
- 3:29basketball or not, they just wanted me to do whatever. So did you like, feel the pressure of
- 3:33like, you know, being Shaq, son, you never felt like I need to hoop. Yeah, but it didn't happen until I
- 3:38was like 15 years old. Because this is also another thing that people don't know. Like nobody
- 3:43knew who I was until, uh, Xiao Hu mixtape. What is a mixtape and why does it hold so much weight,
- 3:49especially back then? Yeah. So back then, before people could pay to get their Mixtapes, like a
- 3:55mixtape, is basically like a compilation video of your highlights from one game, one summer. It could
- 4:01be from a whole year. So basically they have a certain type of music, some type of smooth music,
- 4:07and there's videos from the first game to the last game. Just all your best clips. It's just
- 4:13super hype. It's more like a hype video. So yeah, I think, um, if we want to go through top mixtape,
- 4:20it's definitely Zion High School mixtape. Austin Rivers. It's a lot of good. Ones. John Wall, Oh my.
- 4:26One John Wall hitting the Dougie. That was a great one. You know, you could throw my mixtape in there.
- 4:32So like we used to go to every school growing up from ages whatever till I was about 15. We'd go to
- 4:39every school. Mhm. My mom was one who showed up. They never said anything about my dad, just so. So
- 4:44we got treated regular. So one day I was playing with my eighth grade AAU team and it's a guy with
- 4:51a camera under there. I happen to have a great game thinking nothing of it. Next De Hoop mixtape
- 4:56Sharif O'Neal, Shaq son, 15 years old. And ever since then, it was just that's when I really got
- 5:01the pressure. Like, oh, now I kind of. Have like IG, all your socials blew up. Yeah, I went from having
- 5:06like I probably had like eight K. And I would say by the by my senior year I was already in like
- 5:13I would say like the 800, 900. Yeah. Damn. What did that feel like? As you said, you were 15. Yeah. I was
- 5:19like a 15 year old. I couldn't even imagine 15. Year old hell in motion. It was really like so. The
- 5:248 a.m. game, it was super empty the next day. They probably posted it like that
- 5:31night. Next they had another 9 a.m. game. It was empty. We had a 3 p.m. game. It was sold out like
- 5:35every game out there. That was just super, super packed. Like it was just so it was crazy, like
- 5:41watching hoop mixtapes and then being on one was just a whole different thing. And I don't think
- 5:45y'all know, hey you, nowadays you can pay for your mixtape, but back then the only time you got a
- 5:51mixtape is if you was really hoping for. Real, you got to earn that. Now it's paid away. Yeah. All
- 5:58right. That's wild. You're family. Kind of. When you were hoping and try to stray you away kind of
- 6:02from your last name. I mean, I feel like I gotta ask because from my perspective, it pissed me off.
- 6:09Were you getting sick of. Kind of like, being referred as. Like Shaq's son? Like, when did you
- 6:14want people to know, like, yo, I'm like, I'm a different person. I'm doing different things. It
- 6:19actually kind of happened recently. Like, I would always tolerate the Shaq son because I was it was
- 6:23like natural. I'd be like, yeah. But like the other day I was at the airport and like, dude was like
- 6:28yelling. They kind of kind of crazy. Mhm. And this time I was like, I'm not like, that's not my name.
- 6:33I'm not gonna be. You're not about to answer him. Are you saying Shaq son. Shaq son. And I didn't
- 6:37answer. And then he finally walks up to me. He's like yo you Shaq son? I don't even say nothing. I'm
- 6:42just like I'm Sharif. And he's like, okay, I respect that. And I remember that. So I mean I think like,
- 6:47yeah, that was like the first interaction where I really corrected. I was like the way to handle it.
- 6:50Yeah. Yeah. I was like, because that isn't my name. But yeah. I mean, it doesn't bother me. I just at
- 6:56the same time it does. Yeah. I totally understand that. Do you think growing up, like
- 7:03your teammates and other people and stuff, you once they kind of found out, you felt like you got
- 7:08treated different? Um, yeah, I would say in college and pros for sure. That was a that was the thing.
- 7:15Like, yeah, they just started glazing a little more. Is it. Not. Even some, some I feel like. I mean. It's
- 7:21the only way to put. It. I mean. When it first happened. Yeah. Like for sure. But like in college
- 7:27in the pros, it was like when I played G League, I had a few teammates. Like, not really corner me, but
- 7:33they were just like questioning me a lot. And they were like, yo, why do you play in the G League? Like
- 7:37you don't need you don't need none of this. So like I just told them, like, should I play
- 7:41basketball? Because that's that's what I want to do. So I think after that when people realize like,
- 7:46okay, he grew up in this family, he's in the G League. There's people in the jewelry that are
- 7:49really grinding, have family. So like, I wouldn't call it hate him, but I feel like they were kind
- 7:54of like, okay, we go cool on him. Like, not give him his shine because. You feel like people make
- 7:59almost like assumptions about things they already know about you. Yeah, 100%. Uh, like, what do you
- 8:06think is like one thing that people usually assume that people may not know about you. Uh, I
- 8:12feel like people automatically think like I have, like, unlimited card on my in my pocket. At all
- 8:18times. Unlimited Amex. Yeah. Like, I got, like. They think it's like it's. I don't know what it is, but
- 8:23like, people I didn't we didn't really grow up spoiled. My dad didn't really give us a lot of
- 8:28stuff. He says it all the time. Like if we didn't clean up the whole house or have a 40 point game
- 8:34or bring home all A's, like we're not, we're not seeing no, none of his bread. Like that's how. It
- 8:37was, like. You had to do something. So like. I will say, I didn't even know you had that, like
- 8:42Spider-Man kind of Marvel side to you until I seen a post like in your room, I forgot the name
- 8:47of the artist, but it was like. Oh, it was. It was Alex. Alex. Ross. Alex. Ross because I've seen I used
- 8:52to have Alex Ross in my college dorm and I'm like, well, you know about Alex Ross. Oh yeah. But he just
- 8:57got those other day. Those are fire. I got some cutouts of that. I need to lock it on my my
- 9:01Spider-Man. Where can I ask this real quick, bro? Does your does your dad ever talk about how he's
- 9:07on every damn advertisement in the world? I walk in CVS says, dude, he's on Icy hot. This dude's on. I
- 9:14just can you guys to. That's the thing. Grab brother cutouts. It'd be like size cutouts. I
- 9:20wouldn't even staples. I don't know what I was kidding, but I was like four of them. But he he
- 9:25always says like, he just says he doesn't sleep and he's bored. So he wants to do something that's
- 9:29really his. His. Yeah. His answer I see him in a car commercial. I'm like, no way. He finished in this
- 9:34little ass car, bro, bro bro. Growing up, like, I guess growing up with your father and
- 9:41then your family, like, like going to, like, friends and house and stuff like, did it feel like a
- 9:46normal childhood or did you always feel like you live in like a little bit of a different life? So
- 9:52like the thing about my mom, like, okay, so my dad, he he's from Newark, new Jersey, my mom is from
- 9:58Texas, but she grew up in Inglewood. So like one thing about them is they're like, yo, y'all going
- 10:02to grow up in a nice house, but y'all going to know how we grew up. So like, when we would go when
- 10:07we we were in LA like our school's private school where we were going to play AAU is like straight
- 10:12trenches, like we're we're in the hood. So like, yeah, I was going over my friend's house and it's
- 10:17like a completely different world, but I wasn't really paying attention to it because I was kind
- 10:21of used to it, like just, you know, chilling at my coaches houses and, and do all that. All my friends
- 10:26were more on the team than they were at school. So, like, there were those times I go to a kid in my
- 10:31school's house, big ass house. But like, yeah. I wasn't cool. I was it wasn't cool over there. But
- 10:36but like when I went down to my like, all teammates houses and I was down there like, you
- 10:40know, with my people. So it was just it was more cool. Yeah. So as he was hooping through high
- 10:44school, when did kind of like that recruitment process start for you? The colleges coming in and
- 10:50stuff. Or early as hell. Right. When that video dropped. So like, right when I was 15 and I
- 10:57know there's like a certain day where they, like, colleges can start calling you. Mhm. Uh, because I
- 11:02was just getting letters and me not knowing nothing about basketball and not even caring at
- 11:06the time I thought letters were offered. So I had. Like. All these letters and I'm like keeping them
- 11:11and I'm taking pictures. I'm like, I got every offer, but they're really just letters, like just
- 11:16showing that they're interested. But like, it was a lot of schools calling. Um, I was one of the first
- 11:21people in my class to commit to Arizona when I was in 11th grade. Uh, all that went downhill, and
- 11:28they had, like, a money scandal. And I went to UCLA and then LSU. What made you choose Arizona from
- 11:33the start? Um, I was really I, I lived in Phoenix for a little bit. I always liked the weather out
- 11:40there, even though it's hot as hell. But like when I went on my my visit there. The U of A. They had
- 11:45John's. I'm actually kind of. Actually kind of glad I didn't go there. I'm like, yeah,
- 11:53I don't even know if it was because of that. Honestly, it wasn't. Like. That. But it was just like,
- 11:58I felt like I was at home. I'm not going to lie. It was just it was cool. It took him out one day. It
- 12:03was. Like, yeah, I feel like I'm. At home. Coach made him. Sign the next day, but. So did you. Once you
- 12:09finally got to college and you just started hooping there was there like a was that
- 12:15transition smooth or was there like a welcome to college moment? It was bro. It wasn't it wasn't
- 12:19smooth at all. Like I wish I would have had somebody in my corner to tell me they're like,
- 12:24okay, you could be the man your whole life in high school, but. I'm already no. Bro. I wasn't even
- 12:28thinking that. I'm on a team with, you know, people who've been there for four years and dudes that
- 12:33are my size and. But lifting grown man weight. So, like, I was the number one player in California.
- 12:40I just won state championship. So I'm going there like, yeah, this is mine. Like I'm still at home. It
- 12:45was like a wakeup call, like. First day there. It was like gradual. It was a wake up call. First day
- 12:50there. Just like conditioning. We even touched the bottom right. Well, just weights and conditioning. I
- 12:55was like, yeah, like I gotta get get my weight up. So like my first two months there was, oh,
- 13:02welcome to college. We're doing beach runs. We're climbing hills, sand dunes, lifting weights. We were
- 13:08playing volleyball with like, the big medicine balls, like you gotta I was like, bro. We're they.
- 13:13They come up with the most creative shit. They do. That. It's really mental though. That's really they
- 13:18just trying to train your mental. You be like, why am I doing all this BS? And you'd be like, oh, this
- 13:22is for the mental at the end of the day. But it was not a smooth transition at all. Right? I'm
- 13:27trying to think, what was my welcome to college moment? I don't know, I had we played against my
- 13:32center the first game and oh my I'm sorry big oh if you're watching this, you got absolutely
- 13:37punched on the first game by six two. Dude, like, it was horrible. Like he went horizontal in the air.
- 13:45Landed flat on his back. But I'm sorry. Bingo. We ain't got to talk about that. I'll be going. On a
- 13:50more, uh, like, serious note. Would you mind if we talked about kind of, like, the whole heart
- 13:56situation and stuff like that? So when did that first come about for you? Um, it was so it was
- 14:03something that was going on when my dad was on the heat. So it was like 2005, 2006, I would be in
- 14:09P.E. or recess. Some little kid. All I know is my heart would be fast. Boom. I wake up in the
- 14:14hospital. That happened like throughout a whole two years from like ages 5 to 7. I went to the
- 14:20doctor a bunch of times, did all these tests, didn't know what it was, and there was one doctor
- 14:24who gave me something called a heart ablation. I still don't really know too much about what it is.
- 14:28I kind of tried to not even look that type of stuff up, but I got a heart ablation and every
- 14:33year after that, from ages seven till I was 18, I would always get do a stress test. That's when
- 14:39they put the stuff on. You run on the treadmill. I get cleared every year for basketball. That's all
- 14:43me and my family were really like. We were really going on boom. Fast forward all the way to I'm 18
- 14:49at UCLA. The trainer, Shane UCLA, has a big medical school to get our medical, all our medical records
- 14:54from the first day to last day. Oh, let me think of this. So he sees that and he's like, yo, what is all
- 15:01this stuff from when you're going to the hospital for your heart. Puts a heart monitor on me. Uh, I'm
- 15:06walking around school. I'm a freshman. There's girls around. I'm taking it off because I'm like.
- 15:11I'm. It's like poking on my shirt. I'm taking it off. So then one day, he's on campus with me. He's
- 15:15just walking, and he just puts his hand on my chest. He's like, you don't have your monitor on.
- 15:19I'm like, nah. He's like, you don't wear it. I'm not clearing you. Cool. I put it back on. I'm practicing.
- 15:24Still doing that same stuff there. They always they said it the first day I put the monitor on
- 15:28there. Like if you feel like any anything weird is press the button. So I'm whooping and they're like.
- 15:31It felt like my heart skipped a beat. But I had had that feeling my whole life. I don't really
- 15:35like it. It's the same feeling I had when I was a little kid. Like when I used to pass out. But I
- 15:39wasn't passing out at this time, so. And I'm like, ah, I'm not feeling depressed. This I'm not
- 15:43depressive. Then it still records. Even though I didn't press it. I'll probably press it like five
- 15:47minutes later, just kind of scaring myself. And then fast forward, he tells me, sit out for like
- 15:52the next three days until it comes back because I press the button. Oh yeah. Then he calls me, uh, he
- 15:56tells me, come to campus. I'm new to school. I'm thinking they do all this to clear people. They
- 16:01just tell you like, hey, yeah. Come down. So does me call her mom. Call my dad. Um, then they're like. We
- 16:07walk over to the medical building. Big oval table, I mean, table slide. Shut down a picture of a heart.
- 16:13All these. Doctors. Damn. You see, you were, what, 15 or 18 years? Yeah, I was 18. This was like, literally
- 16:19after that two months of going through all that training, like, they have found this. So, like, just a
- 16:23big table. I just see it says like, right, coronary something just put my head down. I didn't really
- 16:30listen to one thing. They said, no, I was kind of in there like just like this because. Yeah. What was
- 16:35going through your head? You're like. Really? That wasn't too far off when, uh, Bronny got his right.
- 16:40Yeah. I was like, if I happened a few years before, uh, brownie, the the thoughts that were going in my
- 16:46head were just like, I really, I don't even know a memory from then. It's like it's not too
- 16:53foggy, but like, it was just like it was more like a crash out than like I was like a damn. Like I
- 16:59came all the way over here. Like I did all this just for this to happen. It was like a kind of
- 17:04more like a y me thing. Like, was it more of like. I'm like, I'm mad that I might not be able to play
- 17:10basketball, or I'm more concerned about, like, my actual health. Um, it was both. It was like a
- 17:17I was scared, like when I was like, well, they told me they're like, we're surprised you're still here
- 17:23right now. Like with all the basketball you're playing. So one, I was thankful that like, nothing
- 17:28else happened. But then that scared me for like, every other day after. Uh, yeah. So it was like in
- 17:34my head. And then even after they were like, do you want to get a heart surgery? They're like, some
- 17:38people have this their whole life, and then nothing ever happens. They could be a top athlete
- 17:42or not. So you could be good or like worst case scenario is over with. So like that was the first
- 17:49option I chose. Like literally I was like, oh, I'm not getting a heart surgery. I'm about to go whoop.
- 17:53Yeah, exactly. Next day I wake up, you know, like practices later in the day, I'm just anxious
- 17:58thinking about it. And I'm just like, yeah, I'm about to get this surgery. Yeah. I'm not about to
- 18:02do all this crying. And, you know, my mom is telling me, get the surgery. I'm saying I'm just going to
- 18:07live with it. And then the next day I put my shoes on and that could be the day. So I was like, I'm
- 18:12gonna get this surgery. So you got it that year or. Yeah, I kind of. I told them I was scared, but I
- 18:18told them I wanted to finish finals first, but I really did. Care on final conscious. But yeah, I did
- 18:24get it like two months later. Yeah. Yeah. So I mean, looking back at it, do you think
- 18:31Like agreeing to do the surgery was the hardest part. Or was it like after trying to rehabilitate
- 18:36yourself? Um, well, now let's say it was the after part, but agreeing to do the surgery. That was my
- 18:43first ever surgery. I never broken a bone or anything. So, like, I didn't even know they put you
- 18:47to sleep during surgery. I was just like, my first thing is like, yo, they're about to hear about
- 18:51somebody about to have my heart in their hands. Like crazy, like, yeah. That's what I'm saying. So I
- 18:57was really just scared on that. But it was really the after part. That was probably. The. Yeah. What
- 19:01was the recovery process like? Um, well, while I was in there, I went in there like 225. I think
- 19:08when I left I was like 170 or something, bro. So like I was. Like, damn, damn. You could see my ribs.
- 19:13You could see like it was all. So then I couldn't carry over 9 pounds for like seven months because
- 19:19they broke my sternum. So like, I'm just sitting there skinny, trying to eat, like. And it wasn't
- 19:24working. Um, it hurts a laugh. Talk like sneezing hurt. Geez. It was like
- 19:31times where I wake up and like, my my chest is just, like, leaking. Like, it was just like the
- 19:35stitch. It was cringe. I know you're my bad bro. Know you straight like I want to hear it. But just
- 19:41like I'm like in my head. You ever play Mortal Kombat? Yeah. I was thinking the same thing. And
- 19:46they're driving like that. Like that's how I'm picturing Mortal Kombat, as you're saying this. It
- 19:52was. It was? Yeah. It was. Did you, like, come out of it like appreciating life a little different like
- 19:56that with it? It was like a bro. It was really the medication. I didn't really start appreciating
- 20:02life til I, like, flushed all the meds down the toilet. Had you high as. Hell, bro. I was fried like
- 20:07it was. Yeah, like it had me. I don't even know, bro. You just think I was just the laziest person ever.
- 20:13I was just fried. And one day I was like, yo, like this. This medication, like, making me mad. Like, I'm
- 20:18not really enjoying. None of, like, I was alive. I was enjoying it. But at the same time, I'm like, bro,
- 20:23I'm pissed off every day. Like I'm just pissed. I was like, I'm just going to go through this pain
- 20:28for a little bit, like on some mental stuff. I'm like, maybe it'll make me stronger in the end run.
- 20:32So I just flush all the meds down the toilet. But as the days went on, I started feeling way, way, way
- 20:36more normal stuff. So you think it was more? Do you think it taxed you more mentally than physically?
- 20:42Yeah, I would say it was mentally mental because like, it didn't it didn't hit me
- 20:48later, like mentally wise like until I got cleared because that whole time I was thinking
- 20:55like, oh yeah, I'm about to get back. I'm about to kill. I'm about to do all that. But I got cleared
- 20:59and I went to go workout with my little brother's, like eighth grade team, dead tired. I was like,
- 21:05right when I started running and doing all that, I wasn't even thinking. I was out for a year and
- 21:09nine months. Like once my heart started beating fast, instant panic. I told the coach, like, yo, yo,
- 21:13I'm like, I'm done. I was like, I'm not only going to play no more. Like it was an instant panic. Like,
- 21:17now. I haven't felt my heart be like this in so long. And I was like, I remember what happened last
- 21:22time. So it's the panic. I set out for a little bit, uh, went back on there. But ever since that first
- 21:28day, I got cleared, it started to come back, like, mentally, like damn, like, I mean, even still today
- 21:33when I wake up, if I, like, do something, I know I'm fine, but like, when I feel my heart beat fast, like
- 21:38it's still. I get flashbacks for sure. No, I, I that make me anxious to settle. So I hear what
- 21:45you're talking about. So how long did that recovery take before you were like, all right, I
- 21:51can go playing a game now. Um. It's like two years. I did, I did something like. Okay. So I rushed back
- 21:58into it. I think I should have took another year off before I returned to play college basketball,
- 22:03because I think I let social media hype me up. And I think I let the Dru League hype me up too, like
- 22:09I had came back and played in the Dru League first and like I was. What year is. This? This is 20,
- 22:15uh, 20 late 2019. So my surgery was December
- 22:212018. Yeah. I set out to like literally almost a year and a few months. So like
- 22:28it was like late 2019 right before Covid. So so you go on the league and you were dropping 40. You
- 22:35felt like, yeah, I feel like Gold Reef. Yeah, I was cooking and I yeah, I was like, but then again, like
- 22:41I didn't realize that like college is like a team defense and like drew league and pros is like, you
- 22:48go past one person, you might have help. So I never like I've never had anybody tell me that either.
- 22:53So I was in the Drew League cooking. I get to college and I'm like, you know, I think I'm gonna
- 22:57play this year. I told my mom like I was just cooking the drew. I think I could play the hypers
- 23:01all the way up. Like people are saying, I'm back. I go to college and I'm like, I should have sat out
- 23:06a whole nother year and got right there conditionally again. Or was it just conditioning
- 23:10again? Weightlifting? Because like, I had never fully got back up to 220 again, like when I was
- 23:16back because I couldn't, I couldn't like lift anything. So like all the lifting I did came in
- 23:20late. So I was probably like 210. I had me playing the five, which is not going to cut it in for the
- 23:26Pac 12 at the time. So yeah. So you you were hooping, came back
- 23:32hooping college take us through kind of like that summer league G League experience when
- 23:39they all started happening. Yeah. Um, so I'll backtrack a little bit from that. Uh,
- 23:46so I was at LSU and then again, I wasn't I wasn't getting no type of playing time. But then I was
- 23:53like, you know, I had a vision. I was like, honestly, at this point, you know, I already saw my life
- 23:58flash for my eyes. I was like, I probably don't see myself playing basketball in more than ten more
- 24:03years. I'm like, I'm just going to declare and see what happens. Like, I know somebody's going to like,
- 24:08give me a workout just based off of off of everything. So like, boom, that's what I did. I just
- 24:14told my coach, I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna declare for the draft. Like, I know I'm not gonna get drafted
- 24:17like the G League as long I just want to play pro because, like, that's my style of basketball. So I
- 24:23did that. Everybody was pissed off at me, but like, I had a vision the whole time. I already knew I
- 24:28was going to get into the G-League. It's kind of just like there's no way they were going to say
- 24:32no. So I did that, um, Summer League. Oh no, no, wait. So when the draft
- 24:38happened, I didn't even watch it. But people were saying like, hey, these teams might call, but then I
- 24:44get a call. They're like, hey, it's the Lakers! And at first I'm hyped, but then I'm like, damn, hey,
- 24:50hold on, hold on. Hey, Mr. Laker. You got a. Call saying, hey, it's the Lakers. Hey, it's the Lakers. We
- 24:55want you to come in for a workout. Like like for something summer league. And I'm super hot. I'm
- 25:00telling my mom. But then I'm like the Lakers. I'm like, that's kind of like not the last team I
- 25:06wanted to play before. But like, now it's about to be even worse. Like just with the with the whole
- 25:11like son thing. Yeah. So I'm like, all right, let me do I go there practice. Um, you know, I go in there,
- 25:18they already got this jersey and all that. And then, like some of the cops. You gotta be like, bro.
- 25:22Yeah, I was, I was, uh, I was kind of pissed off that day, but then they gave me the jersey, they gave me
- 25:28the the six jersey, and I'm like, oh, this bronze jersey. Like, yeah, you're gonna wear bronze jersey.
- 25:31They. So I was hype. About how. I got to practice in bronze Jersey. But um. It was just hold that
- 25:38thought because in season one I said this podcast would connect to Bronze Legacy. Technically, this
- 25:45show is connected somehow to LeBron's legacy, LeBron's legacy. I don't know if any of y'all
- 25:51remember that, but today is that day is that day you wait. So when you're going through the summer
- 25:57league workouts, like are you nervous? Anxious like, you know, you know, I like I know that
- 26:04feeling. But you're like, holy shit. Yeah, I'm about to get league. It's really just. League. It's really
- 26:10just like the atmosphere. Like they just sitting there watching. They sitting there watching. They
- 26:15come pick you up like they already have the gear in your room. So you're dressed in the gear, they
- 26:19pick you up. It's only like six of y'all. Oh, so they're really. They're like, really? All eyes on
- 26:24y'all. It's like two bigs, two forwards and two guards. So it's really like you versus another
- 26:29person. So like, you never knew who was in there. I was like, I think I had a workout one time and it
- 26:35was like, eh, I don't know who it was. I think I played like a real vet, like someone that I grew
- 26:41up watching. I was like, you know, I'm gonna workout with, like. Like everybody's trying to make a team.
- 26:44So like, it was a guy from somewhere who was like seven, five. Never even seen him. It's like, had a
- 26:50long ass ponytail. So, like, it's just a bunch of random stuff. It's really. You just don't know who
- 26:54you're going to be in there with. So what type of drills are y'all doing in there? Is it just like,
- 26:58um. You do a lot of shooting, uh, usually conditioning drills and then one on one. Mhm.
- 27:05They had you doing that pacer test. Uh, only one team did I think like there's, there's teams are
- 27:10like the players talk. They'd be like yo you got a Boston workout. Like you got this team workout. So
- 27:15like some workouts are worse than others. Some are. You just play one on one the whole time and
- 27:19others are just like you just shoot. So. So you get done with that Lakers workout. Where does it go
- 27:24from there? Um, I go to my grandma's house. Uh, and she was asking me how the workout was, but, like, I
- 27:30didn't really feel I was tired. I wasn't conditioned like I was. I think I had about 15
- 27:36workouts that might have been my last one. So like, I know they play 82 games a year, so like they
- 27:42gotta be conditioned for that. But at the time I was like, my knees were shot. So I was. I didn't
- 27:47feel like I had a great workout, but I still happened to play summer league with them, which
- 27:50was which was awesome. So were you glad that you made that that that choice to declare and and go
- 27:55to the G League rather than. Yeah, 100%. I had way more fun, way more freedom. Uh, you know, it was that
- 28:01one on one basketball I was used to. I still had to, uh, you know, like, prove that I could play. I
- 28:06feel like a lot of I might be wrong, but I feel like a lot of people around me, like the teams I
- 28:11play for, were more like, we're not going to overplay him just because of the situation that
- 28:16he went through, I don't know. But I felt like every time I was in the game, I was for the amount
- 28:20of minutes I played. Like, I play 11 minutes, I'm leaving with nine points. Like, it was like stuff
- 28:24like that. I just had little spurts. But I feel like I always produced, but I don't know, I never
- 28:30got like a real, real breakout. Politics is a real thing, y'all. Real politics is very real.
- 28:37What happens on the back end? No one tells about. It's all. It's all money at the end of the day.
- 28:42Yeah. So when was the moment you were like, all right, it's time to hang this jersey up. Bigger,
- 28:46better things. Um, I always told myself if I get another surgery after my heart surgery, I'm done.
- 28:52So after ignite, I am doing Reebok stuff because I was about to go hoop in
- 28:59Australia. My dad and mom were like, hell no, I stay here. So like, they just paint a bag. Not not too
- 29:05crazy. It was. It wasn't worth it. I think. I was just trying to. I was just trying to go do
- 29:09something. Yeah, I was just trying to just get out the way. I don't know, I think I just wanted to
- 29:13leave for a little bit, but like, then I started doing the Reebok stuff. Um, that was cool. But I
- 29:18wasn't used to, like, working in the office and wearing button ups and like, kind of got played
- 29:23out with that. And I was living in Miami, so I don't think I was really that focused, like I go
- 29:27to work. But then that Friday, Saturday pulled up like, oh yeah, I was out. So like then I was like,
- 29:33you know, I need to go back to basketball. I can't live this lifestyle. So I started working out
- 29:37again. Then I go to the Kings, um, G League Stockton Kings. Um, I didn't end up playing in the season
- 29:44because I had to get a a double knee scope. Yeah. So like, I was lifting one day and like, we were
- 29:50just doing squats and I was just like, next day I was like, yo, my knees are on fire. Next to them. It
- 29:55was both of them. G's. Hands. Their knees are on fire like I was jumping. I was still jumping high,
- 30:00but like, I was just like, yeah, my knees are cooked. So they're not like, can I get an MRI? And they
- 30:04were like, yeah, your meniscus is just slightly torn. So then they like put some holes in there,
- 30:08shaved it off, had like another six month recovery. Then I was like, oh yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that is
- 30:14correct. Oh yeah. When, when did you, uh when did you first dunk. When was your first dunk. At 15.
- 30:2115. Yeah, I honestly thought it'd be younger than that. I used to try, but I was more like a tap
- 30:26backboard. I didn't want to get hung. That's what I. Think. Okay. Yeah. I was like, so I think my 15 when
- 30:30I first really started like clean dunking. So after that surgery you're like, all right, put the
- 30:35jersey. I was like, I'm, I was I was cooked. I tried to come back for like my knees hurt. I just I
- 30:40don't know, I wasn't feeling it. Did you have any like I know like a lot of college athletes and
- 30:44stuff after they get done hooping. I mean, like hooping your whole life till it ain't, you know
- 30:48what I mean? Yeah. Did you kind of feel like a void or anything after being done with it? Yeah, I was, I
- 30:55would like you would catch me not watching basketball. You were like completely cold turkey.
- 31:00Did. You were. Yeah. Like people asked me on the hoop. I'd be like, nah, I was to the point where I
- 31:03was like, giving away all my hoop shoes. Uh. I wasn't following all, like the.
- 31:10I even followed like a lot of the like players and like. House of highlights. I was like, I don't
- 31:15even want to see. I don't know why, but, you know, now I watch it again. I still go out and play
- 31:19sometimes, but when I was done, I just completely avoided it. Like I didn't want to. I didn't see.
- 31:23What would you like start doing all the times that you'd like normally be practicing and like
- 31:26working out and stuff. Play Fortnite? Uh, I was starting to make music and, you know, just hang out
- 31:33more. You drop any songs? Uh, under. Under an alias. Yeah. But I also. Yes. You
- 31:40have exposed myself. Do you think people had a were giving you bad reactions based off of your
- 31:44decision, or did they kind of understand. It was a little bit of both. Like a lot of people, there's
- 31:49still people today that hit me like, yo, you should go back to basketball. And then there's people
- 31:53that they are like, the thing that was a better thing to do. All the NBA guys think it was the
- 31:57perfect thing for me to do was to, you know, take over my dad's brand and do all that stuff now. So
- 32:02I feel like from the people that matter, no negative feedback. I was going to ask you about
- 32:07that. Like how'd that transition kind of start like getting into, like, the whole revolt. Yeah. Was
- 32:10it your idea or was it pop? It was my dad's idea. I was I was really, really about to go to Australia
- 32:15to go. Who brought us for this? For the I don't know, I was just bored, but it was really his idea.
- 32:20And at first I was like, yeah, I'll do it. But yeah, I'll do it. Yeah, I'll take over. I'll do it.
- 32:27Yeah. My vision for it was like working for a company like that. They like, have such a
- 32:34strict program, like the vision I had for that first was not like when it came out to me, but I
- 32:40still learned a lot. And I feel like I learned how to be like a real business man, like being around
- 32:44those people. But I'm thinking I could get like a collab happening one day, like, oh no, we can get
- 32:49Supreme to do a collaborate. Like, that's the type of person I was going in there. Like, so how long
- 32:53you been working over there? Um, well, now I'm doing Full Shack brand. I still like I'm in a Reebok
- 32:59affiliate, like, with their, like, players and stuff like this, player relations. But this would be my
- 33:05third year going on, my third year, so. I thought we were supposed to wear shags for this podcast. I
- 33:12got jail slides on it, bro. I'm still waiting on my parents. I got you, bro. Complex car, I got you. Are
- 33:18we gonna make it happen? What was your idea with that? Because, I mean, from my eyes, a Shaq
- 33:25shoe is the affordable shoe you get at Walmart so everyone can have a pair of hoop shoes. I feel
- 33:30like you've tried to shift it to make it a lack of a better term, more swag gear. Yeah. How has that
- 33:37been going? Um, so this is going on my second year with Shack brand. My first
- 33:44shoe is dropping in October. I would say when I first got there, it was kind of it was kind
- 33:51of hard, like people were. People were clowning me. But I was always the kid that grew up. Like, people
- 33:55would be like, yo, why don't you wearing Shaq's? Why aren't you wearing Shaq's? And like. I don't. Want
- 33:59it. I was getting like, yeah, I was getting like second hand bullied from it. Like I didn't even
- 34:03have him on and people were clowning me still. So I was like had the vision after, like I had got my
- 34:08knee surgery and I'm like, I wonder if it let me like start doing Shaq brand stuff and just like,
- 34:13completely change it because I don't I don't want no kids to get bullied like I was a kid growing
- 34:18up. People were just talking about shacks all the time. So I was like, let me see if I could do
- 34:22something cool. So starting in October, that would be the first shoe that I dropped. And then from
- 34:28there we'll see what happened. So yeah, congrats. And you're still doing Reebok at the same time.
- 34:33Yeah. Like some stuff. Like if they just could put in connection together like or just, you know,
- 34:39little ideas but not like full design or doing anything. What, what. What makes you say like yes
- 34:46to a partnership like that. Like why Reebok. What brands kind of you work with. You're like, okay,
- 34:52this is why I did that. Um, well, that one, they had just asked my dad to be the president like
- 34:59two days before. So he was the president of basketball. So he was like, you know, the first
- 35:02thing I'm going to do is bring you on. But like, doing brand partnerships. I make sure it's
- 35:07something that like, I can actually relate to. So like for example, I won't do nothing with like an
- 35:12energy drink because like I don't drink energy drinks because like, yeah, like something like that.
- 35:16So like I like video games, I like lounging around. So I kind of whenever I look for a partnership,
- 35:23it's like something that I could think I could get something out of. Or did you start, like, doing
- 35:27partnerships? Like, ever since, like the initial kind of blow up or like you started? Um, it was
- 35:31like when nil, uh, came became a thing. I was like a junior in college and like,
- 35:38all these brands started doing stuff. So I think, like, the first thing I ever did was something
- 35:42with Boohoo, man, like me and my brother did a collection with Boohoo Man. Yeah, I know exactly.
- 35:47Yeah, yeah, we did a collection with Boohoo man. And like then the second thing I had with like was
- 35:54Uggs and so like mainly yeah, it was like it. Was. Like you're your pops is
- 36:01like the king of brand partnerships. What, are you taking notes from him on this? Or like
- 36:08when you're going through this process? Because I didn't seem to do in an icy hot the general like
- 36:13Mitsubishi where he. It's like I do follow him but like
- 36:19we're in like two completely different things. So like I wouldn't do an icy hot commercial because
- 36:25like, I'm 26, so I wouldn't make it wouldn't make sense to like. But I always do ask him like, yo, you
- 36:31think this is good? You think this is bad? And he always does help with that. So I feel like that's
- 36:35good, but I don't really follow his footsteps. He he moves around too much. So with the brand and
- 36:40everything, like, I know you're just about to do the new shoe. Do you have like, like a five year
- 36:46plan kind of of where you want to see that within the next few years? Um. I just want in the next
- 36:52five years, I always say, like when I first got there, I want to make Shaq brand acceptable in the
- 36:58streetwear world. Like, that's all I wanted to fully get rid of those. So when you went about
- 37:02like designing the shoe, did you kind of aim for more of just like a streetwear acceptable or like
- 37:07were you more on like the I still wanted to be used for like basketball and stuff. Um, so I made a
- 37:12skate shoe. Actually, every other shoe we've made is a basketball shoe. So I have the first shoe
- 37:16that's like not a basketball shoe. So I wanted to be like, lifestyle. And this is like, the thing
- 37:22about shoes is, like, we we built this shoe earlier last year, but it's not coming out until this year.
- 37:27So like before all, like these companies were doing like the skate shoes, I know, like Louie's
- 37:33about to drop something. I know vans have been doing their collab like I had already was like,
- 37:37yeah, I've been wearing vans every day my whole life. I want to make a shoe kind of like that. So I
- 37:42was doing stuff like that and yeah, I want to just be like a straight lifestyle shoe, like, okay, when
- 37:48people see Shaq, like they they're not making fun of anymore. They got a new logo, a logo that I have.
- 37:53So like it's new stuff. I also feel like I feel like there's kind of resurgence of this, like
- 38:00back then. Like Kd6 says, you could rock them out and work normally. I feel like like the Anthony
- 38:07Edward shoes. Shay shoes. People are starting to wear them like the normal fits again. Is that idea
- 38:12kind of in your head of like, I want to make a hoop shoe that people want to wear outside? Yeah,
- 38:17exactly. So I was like last year, I competition, I was wearing some basketball. Shaq's like with my
- 38:24fits and people are like, oh, that's fine, that's fine. But like, I didn't really like the shoes I
- 38:28was wearing with the fit. Like I wanted something that I made. But yeah, that's a big that's like a
- 38:32major key in like the basketball shoe. Those of you like that, like LA style of clothing, I feel
- 38:36like a skate a skater shoe with like kind of like that silhouette would kind of fit your fits more.
- 38:40Yeah. That's fine. Toughest
- 38:47player you had to guard, bulbul. Yeah, that was quick. Um, is there any aspect of your dad's game
- 38:54that you wish you had growing up? Uh. The physicality. Nice high tops, mid tops or low
- 39:00tops. Low tops. What does success mean to you? Success means, um, you know,
- 39:07happiness and peace within my life, within my family. And what I want to do. Uh, I would say
- 39:14that's kind of more a general statement, but does that make sense to you? Yeah. Makes sense. Uh, is
- 39:19there a favorite meal that you grew up eating? Like in the in the house and whatnot. It's like
- 39:23chick fil A chicken nuggets. Fries. I was thinking more like home cooking. Though. Um,
- 39:30like, I was a big, uh, bacon dude growing up. So, like, my grandma used to make loads of bacon for us.
- 39:36That's fine. I'll think of that. Who has the best sneaker collection out of your family? Uh, I would
- 39:42say me. Yeah, 100%. Um, if you weren't designing sneakers or playing
- 39:48basketball, what would you be doing? I'd probably be rapping. Damn. Under an alias. Yeah. We're leaking
- 39:55this on. Somebody find the evidence? Um, is there any one piece of advice that you got either
- 40:02being at UCLA or, like, in the G-League, that just kind of stuck with you? No. None. Damn. Um, if you
- 40:09could play one on one against any NBA player retired or in the league now, who would it be? Like
- 40:14to just for fun or. Yeah, just for fives. Um, I, I want to bully somebody. So I'm
- 40:21gonna go like Muggsy Bogues now. Uh, I'm a if I could play against somebody, it would want I want
- 40:26to I always want to play against K.D. just because, like, it just. I just want to see how. Like,
- 40:31I probably wouldn't have a fun time, but. Yeah, I want to play one of the old days from, like, the
- 40:3570s to see if there's, like, I was, like, hoping for real. Oh, yeah, that makes sense to. Yeah, like Wilt
- 40:39Chamberlain like that. Yeah. Um, what's like a big misconception that people have
- 40:46about you or like, your family? Um, I would say is probably what I said earlier, like the being
- 40:52spoiled. I feel like people think I'm a spoiled kid. I feel like I just be chilling most of the
- 40:56time. And I'm gonna ask you one more. Um, when it comes to designing a, let's say, basketball shoe,
- 41:01you think it's more important for it to look fly or the actual, like, usage of it? I would say the
- 41:06usage of it, like a lot of shoes look cool, but people aren't going to play if they're not
- 41:11comfortable, if you're twisting your ankle all the time, stuff like that. So I would say like the the
- 41:16usage for them, you want them to last and you want them to look good, but be comfortable and be safe.
- 41:20So do you have a favorite basketball shoe rather than the Shaq's? Uh, my favorite basketball shoe
- 41:24ever is probably the first GT cus they dropped. That's yours too. I'm not. Though. Those are the
- 41:30best for those. Those were insane. Yeah. They folded. Those are the best hoop shoes ever. Those GT cus I
- 41:36had the green ones. Yeah bro, those shoes were super. The most comfortable shoe ever worn in my
- 41:40damn life. I'll tell you that right now. Nike. Yeah, those shoes were elite. You don't know about that,
- 41:44mom. I don't know about that exactly. I was wearing I was, I was grew up with. Like, Hot Wheels and shit.
- 41:49Nah, I grew up in them d rose beanie, d roses back. Uh, yeah, I guess that's it. Unless you got the, uh,
- 41:55the moment the. I would say, like, when I first got to LSU, um, they had me, like, in the, in
- 42:02the athlete apartments, and I guess for the what's the people that, like, monitor the hallways like,
- 42:08are they all right. So like, you had to have your names on the doors and all that. So when I first
- 42:14got there, like it was only one sheriff at LSU, everybody knows he's Jackson. So like on those
- 42:21Fridays and Saturday nights, it'd be all types of people just knocking girls, random people after
- 42:27parties. So I would just say like that was probably the only thing. Then they moved me off
- 42:31campus after that. Well. Have you tried like have you tried like dating and stuff as, as Jackson? Is
- 42:37it like. Yeah, it. Was like bandits and stuff coming. No, I. Don't, I don't like I don't be messing with
- 42:43the for the fun. For the fun like in Miami on the boat. Yeah. But like. Serious. No. You know. Yeah.
- 42:51I guess that's. Why. Yeah, I've tried dating. Um, I've only ever had one girlfriend my whole life. Uh,
- 42:58yeah, I've tried dating. Kind of like a, I don't know. Loving basketball. Yeah, I love basketball.
- 43:05Shall we? Yeah. We shall. All right. All right. What was the last time you took a trip down memory
- 43:09lane? I got I got some things to ask you about
- 43:16over here. Over here in the the re files. Uh, you know about the re files? No. Yeah. They're very
- 43:23interesting. So I've got some things that I'm gonna pass to you. Like you failed the test. Okay, I
- 43:27need you to explain. Um, you way too big to be doing that shit. So, what's going through your head?
- 43:33Right here? What's going on? Uh, I just had watch, uh, what's it called? Stop the guard. I was trying to
- 43:39do that. The guy. I was trying to do the blue. The guy, Chris Brown, uh, exit out the
- 43:46movie. No socks. You got clothes on your head? I know, I almost did it. Yeah. I don't know. I was in
- 43:52the locker room. And, um. Another thing you're too big to be doing. Can you let me know what's
- 43:58happening right here? Oh, yeah. This is my dad's idea. He
- 44:04actually looked closely. His knees. Ah, Buckley. But, yeah, he wanted to see if he could still pick me
- 44:10up like I was. I've actually seen, uh, different variations of that image with different outfits
- 44:14multiple times that just like y'all thing or something. He just, he just every year, he'd try to
- 44:18see if he could pick us up around Christmas time. Okay, okay. And then, um, right here is it.
- 44:26Do you think this is appropriate as a grown man? Oh, as a grown man to have, uh, is it probably
- 44:33as a grown man to have milk stuck on their upper lip like that? Well, we said pause before we took
- 44:38the photo. Me and my brothers did. But it was. My dad had did like a got milk
- 44:44advertisement back in the day. So this was like a tribute to that. But they put real milk up there?
- 44:49Yeah, that's real milk. It's like, what was it? It was like some type of little peel off
- 44:56glue and like something else. And they just, like, paint it. Yeah. When you're measuring, when you when
- 45:02you were mentioning, you did, uh, you know. Boohoo, man. Reebok. I think you forgot to throw that one
- 45:06in there. I don't know how you feel. Yeah. The silk milk. I was in milk. It was amazing. That whole day
- 45:12was very a yo. But it was like. It was. It was okay. It was a. And then, um, I'm
- 45:19just curious how what what what someone said right here that got y'all both effed up like that.
- 45:26The, um, the real reason. So I put this on Instagram and I said, when someone's yelling that me and my
- 45:33brother can't make free throws, but it was really our cousin just yelled our names like, in the most
- 45:37loud, crazy way to where we thought it was an emergency. Like y'all. Look like. Yeah, it was like
- 45:42the I. We've never heard anybody at a basketball game like, say our name like that, but she really
- 45:46just trying to get a picture because I was like the first time he was really sitting next to you.
- 45:50Are you good at free throws? Yeah. I'm nice. I think I'm the I would say. 75. 75, 75. Second best shooter
- 45:57in the family. Why, why, why. Was a pop so ass at free throws. So when he holds the ball. It's like
- 46:03holding a baseball. Yeah. It's like shooting a little Nerf ball. Like, I never really noticed that
- 46:07till I seen it. Like, he's like. Yeah. It's like he's holding the ball like this. Like throwing an apple
- 46:11or. Yeah, it's literally like that. So I guess that's a reason. In the last one for me. Right here.
- 46:17Take that one. Has there any been has there been any consequences to these actions right here bro.
- 46:25Because ever since Myles cut his dreads he got a real neck bull neck. So like. First of. All first of
- 46:31all pause. Resume it. I don't need you tell me my neck is knuckleball. And as a fellow Deadhead
- 46:38community member, it feels better to have the locks off, I feel like. He's smacking
- 46:45him in the back of the head. Behind closed doors. That's like if you notice every time I smack him
- 46:51in the back of the head, it's always the camera. That's the only safe. Way I'm gonna flip out. If I
- 46:56do it for fun and there's no camera. Oh, it's I don't know. It's like. It's.
- 47:03Yeah, it's like running into the Hulk. Yeah. I appreciate you taking a trip down memory lane for
- 47:08me. And, um, let's get back to a series note for the viewers watching right
- 47:15now, based off your life and the things you value. What would you want to say
- 47:22to the people out there? Just overall an overall message. Um, is this, like, of encouragement or just
- 47:28like. Whatever you want encouragement. You know, I usually tell people to dress for themself and no
- 47:33one else because the only opinion that matters about their outfit is their own, is their own life
- 47:37to worry about. Yeah, but what, uh, what does reef have at heart that he wants to share? Um, I would
- 47:43say this was kind of helped me. I feel like people who know about my story, you know, I've been
- 47:47through a lot, but I always say like family and like my close friends are the ones that I kind of
- 47:52value their opinions more about what they say. Like, outside noise is outside noise. So people who
- 47:58do want to play sports and who do want to make music, if your family and your friends, unless
- 48:03they're completely lying to you. But if they're telling you that, like you're good in that, that
- 48:08you're making them happy, I feel like that's all that could get someone really, really far in life.
- 48:12I was a person who used to listen to the outside noise, and that's part of me. And still I until I
- 48:17started listening to the people who mattered. And, you know, that kind of made me be free and figure
- 48:22out who who I was. Phenomenal message. And you got any more questions? Because I got one more.
- 48:29Uh, what's the watch? Go. Smith. Piano. Well, AP.
- 48:36Okay. My life is stole from my dad. That's all you got? That's all I got. All right, my last question
- 48:41is, Mhm. When can I get my ones. You know. Bro. We got a court
- 48:47downstairs. No. Let me know we can. I'm usually when I go whoop I'm usually gonna like guard the
- 48:53center and I'm usually taller. So I'm tryna, I'm trying to be on the other side of things this
- 48:57time. One v one. Someone bigger than me. Let's go bro. We kind of have like a like I see how you how
- 49:02you play on Instagram bro. We kind of a similar style. So I've always wanted to like play against.
- 49:06Are we gonna see y'all see it on the corporate drop on Instagram. We gonna run that one time. Yeah.
