- 0:32so the coldest day of the year yet.
- 0:34That's still to come but it is indeed the shortest.
- 0:37I hope you are doing well, and I hope that while the sun is not
- 0:42going to shine for very long today.
- 0:44I hope that in your heart, there is plenty of sunshine, keeping
- 0:49you going, it is so good that you and I get to share some time
- 0:52today. Because today today is the
- 0:55moment that the people of Israel begin to actually build Have a
- 1:00knack although build this place where they can come together and
- 1:04meet with their God and we're God's holiness can be present in
- 1:10amongst their Brokenness. This is making it possible for
- 1:14his presence to be with them. Maybe not in the same way that
- 1:18was in Eden. But getting back to that, of
- 1:22course, that will be restored in the long run.
- 1:25That is our hope. But this is a step in that
- 1:28direction. so join me, as you and I go back to the building
- 1:33site construction Central in Exodus, chapter, 36
- 1:47The Lord has gifted bezalel and oholiab and the other skilled
- 1:52Craftsman with wisdom and ability to perform any task
- 1:55involved in building the sanctuary.
- 1:58Let them construct and furnish the Tabernacle just as the Lord
- 2:02has commanded. So Moses, suburban bezalel and
- 2:06oholiab and all the others who are specially gifted by the
- 2:10Lord. And we're eager to get to work
- 2:12Moses, gave them the materials donated by the people of Israel
- 2:16as say. Offerings for the completion of
- 2:18the sanctuary, but the people continued to bring additional
- 2:22gifts each morning. Finally, the craftsmen who were
- 2:25working on the sanctuary left, their work, they went to Moses
- 2:28and reported the people have given more than enough materials
- 2:32to complete the job. The Lord has commanded us to do
- 2:36some Moses gave the command and this message was sent throughout
- 2:40the camp. Men and women don't prepare any
- 2:43more gifts for the sanctuary. We have enough.
- 2:46So the people stop bringing their sacred offerings.
- 2:49Their contributions were more than enough to complete the
- 2:52whole project. The skilled Craftsman made ten
- 2:56curtains of finely woven linen for the Tabernacle.
- 2:59Then bezalel decorated the curtains of blue, purple and
- 3:03Scarlet thread, and with skillfully embroidered cherubim,
- 3:07all 10 curtains were exactly the same size 42 feet long and 6
- 3:13feet wide, five of these curtains were joined together to
- 3:16make Take one long curtain and the other five were joined to
- 3:19make the second long curtain. He made 50 Loops of blue yarn
- 3:24and put them along the edge of the last curtain in each set.
- 3:27The 50 Loops along the edge of one curtain match.
- 3:31The 50 Loops along the edge of the other curtain then he made
- 3:3450 gold clasps and fasten the long curtains together with the
- 3:38clasps in this way. The Tabernacle was made of one
- 3:42continuous piece. He made 11 curtains of goat,
- 3:47hair cloth to serve as a tent covering for the Tabernacle.
- 3:50The easy 11 curtains were all exactly the same size 45 feet
- 3:55long, and 6 feet wide bezalel joined five of these curtains
- 4:00together to make one long curtain and the other six would
- 4:03join to make a second long curtain.
- 4:06He made 50 Loops for the edge of each large curtain.
- 4:09He also made 50 bronze clasps to fasten the long curtains
- 4:14together. So in this way, the tent
- 4:16covering was made of one continuous piece.
- 4:19He completed the tent covering with the layer of tanned Ram

- 4:31Each frame was 15 feet, high and 27 inches wide with two pegs
- 4:36under each frame. All the frames were identical.
- 4:39He made 20 of these frames to support the curtains at the
- 4:42south side of the Tabernacle, he I made 40 Silver basis to basis
- 4:47under each frame. With the pegs fitted securely
- 4:51into the basis for the north side of the Tabernacle.
- 4:54He made another 20 frames with their 40, Silver basis to basis
- 4:59under each frame. He made six frames for the rear,
- 5:03the west side of the Tabernacle along with 2 additional frames,
- 5:06to reinforce the rear corners of the Tabernacle.
- 5:10These Corner frames were matched at the bottom and firmly
- 5:13attached at the top with A single ring forming a single
- 5:17corner unit, both of these Corner units were made the same
- 5:20way. So there were eight frames at
- 5:23the rear of the Tabernacle set in 16, silver, basis to basis
- 5:27under each frame. Then he made crossbars of acacia
- 5:31wood to link the frames 5 cross bars, for the north side of the
- 5:35Tabernacle and five for the South Side.
- 5:38He also made five cross bars for the rear of the Tabernacle,
- 5:41which faced West he made the middle crossbar to Attached
- 5:45halfway up the frames. It ran all the way from one end
- 5:48of the Tabernacle to the other. He overlaid the frames with gold
- 5:52and made gold rings to hold the crossbars.
- 5:55Then he overlaid the crossbars with gold as well for the inside
- 5:59of the Tabernacle bezalel. Made a special curtain of finely
- 6:03woven linen. He decorated it with blue purple
