- 1:01Speaker 3: No, it was in a grocery store.
- 1:03Speaker 5: Yeah, well, okay, what do you mean is it free?
- 1:07Speaker 3: Okay? So I was at the grocery store and I
- 1:09Speaker 3: only had one small like cooler bag for like my
- 1:13Speaker 3: cold stuff, and it wouldn't fit everything. And so the
- 1:15Speaker 3: girl was like, I'm gonna double bag this for you.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Put all your cold stuff in here, and then just
- 1:19Speaker 3: put some ice on top of it.
- 1:20Speaker 4: And I was just like, where do you put ice
- 1:22Speaker 4: on top of it?
- 1:23Speaker 3: She liked it. They're like really like the paper bags
- 1:26Speaker 3: with handles, like really strong ones, and so she was
- 1:28Speaker 3: like pup patting it on top, like put the ice
- 1:30Speaker 3: on top. And she was like right over there by
- 1:32Speaker 3: the door, and I was like, okay, cool, and so
- 1:35Speaker 3: I rolled over there and I was like, I'm pretty
- 1:37Speaker 3: like this was she just telling me to take it?
- 1:40Speaker 3: So I put it. I took the bag of ice,
- 1:43Speaker 3: and you just put it on top.
- 1:44Speaker 2: You took a whole bag of ice, she told me.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I don't know if she's telling you to take it
- 1:49Speaker 2: from their store. She's like, find it, find some ice,
- 1:52Speaker 2: put it on top, Like.
- 1:53Speaker 3: I'm checking out. Why didn't she charge me for a
- 1:55Speaker 3: bag of ice? Yeah?
- 1:56Speaker 4: Sure she didn't.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Actually no, I'm not sure.
- 2:00Speaker 2: So you just went to the ice cooler, yeah, grabbed
- 2:02Speaker 2: the bag of ice and I rolled out.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, that's what she told me to do.
- 2:11Speaker 2: A local DJ arrested for stealing bag of ice had
- 2:17Speaker 2: whole foods.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I just thought like maybe it's so hot these days
- 2:22Speaker 3: are just like, hey, grab a bag of ice, like
- 2:24Speaker 3: that's that's nice. No, No, if I got to help
- 2:27Speaker 3: bag my groceries in the first place, can.
- 2:29Speaker 4: It's nothing is free in this world.
- 2:30Speaker 3: She made it act like it was free. Crazy, right, Yeah,
- 2:35Speaker 3: I mean I don't know. I thought she told me
- 2:38Speaker 3: to take it, so I took it for you.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Well, you know what, you've done enough business with them,
- 2:42Speaker 2: I'm sure. Oh yeah, I don't even know who it was.
- 2:44Speaker 3: It was Whole Foods. Amount of times I've left a
- 2:46Speaker 3: bag because I didn't notice it trying to gather my
- 2:49Speaker 3: stuff full of stuff.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:51Speaker 3: Yeah. Plus I know I had two avocados and one
- 2:54Speaker 3: wasn't there when I got home, So it's fair.
- 2:57Speaker 2: So you lost an avocado and transitionated it.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah, a bag of ice.
- 3:02Speaker 6: She probably charged you for two avocados.
- 3:05Speaker 3: So yeah, she did exactly.
- 3:06Speaker 6: So at Hide and Sight you paid for the ice exactly.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Why did they call ice ice?
- 3:12Speaker 3: That's a good question. That's a question my kiddo would ask.
- 3:15Speaker 4: What are you trying to say?
- 3:17Speaker 2: I'm an eight year old.
- 3:18Speaker 3: No, it's a good question.
- 3:19Speaker 7: Boy.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Why don't we just say, oh, I really need some
- 3:21Speaker 4: frozen water.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Cubes, frozen water cubes.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I need frozen water cubes so bad. Can you

- 3:49Speaker 5: kids situation.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Oh I saw your video.
- 3:51Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 3:51Speaker 5: I dropped my son off, him and his friend off
- 3:53Speaker 5: at Netflix house and I go over here to Spring Valley,
- 3:57Speaker 5: right here in a Spring Valley and told way to
- 3:58Speaker 5: get some gas thing I.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Know, police chase.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Oh, it was more than the police. It was like
- 4:03Speaker 6: forty cars, cop cars just pulled in.
- 4:06Speaker 2: What time was that?
- 4:08Speaker 6: It was a five thirty six six?
- 4:10Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, I got called that.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Well they did. That's why I went on.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Gen.
- 4:16Speaker 6: I was like, where you at, Billy the kid? Because
- 4:18Speaker 6: I didn't know.
- 4:18Speaker 4: I don't follow you. I have to follow I didn't
- 4:21Speaker 4: see it.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Well, somebody crashed up under the up under the toll
- 4:25Speaker 5: way and then the other car took off to you know,
- 4:28Speaker 5: heading north.
- 4:29Speaker 6: And everybody just took off after him. And I was like,
- 4:32Speaker 6: what is going on?
- 4:33Speaker 5: And I was asking the guy, uh that works at
- 4:35Speaker 5: the story he goes their robbery suspects or something.
- 4:38Speaker 6: I was like what.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Yeah. I was coming down the toll way a little
- 4:42Speaker 2: after six and I saw so many cars, cop cars
- 4:46Speaker 2: going up. Yeah, just zoom zoom, zoom zoom. And I
- 4:48Speaker 2: was like, what is happening him? Our friend is in town,
- 4:51Speaker 2: our friend raised in town. And he's like what. And
- 4:54Speaker 2: he's from La, he lives in LA, and he's like,
- 4:56Speaker 2: this feels like LA. He's like, I feel like I'm
- 4:59Speaker 2: at home.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I know. I don't know what's going on.
- 5:01Speaker 2: And we were going downtown and then I get an
- 5:04Speaker 2: alert on my phone that I think, Candas, you're going
- 5:06Speaker 2: to talk about that all lanes on the toll way
- 5:08Speaker 2: are shut down.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Yes, I'm definitely talking about that.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Okay, good? It was. It was crazy.
- 5:13Speaker 5: Addison Richardson Dallas and the highway patrol all chasing and they.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Called me too, and I was like, yeah, they called me.
- 5:21Speaker 2: They're like, hey, I don't know what you're doing right now,
- 5:22Speaker 2: but we're in the Chase, We're coming up to your neighborhood. Yeah,
- 5:25Speaker 2: and I was like, you didn't help. Well, I was like,
- 5:27Speaker 2: I got a dinner. I'm so sorry. I was off
- 5:32Speaker 2: the clock. Typically if I did any dinner, I would
- 5:34Speaker 2: activate right and I didn't know put on my tactical
- 5:38Speaker 2: gear and yeah, regulators, Yeah, regulator.
- 5:45Speaker 8: Tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in the.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Morning only on the one two point nine.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Speaking ahead right now, canislofez I got a big prize
- 5:54Speaker 2: for first caller of the day. You do today? Yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 2: like we switched it off. I don't know what's going on,
- 5:58Speaker 2: but it's tickets to a big show.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Oh yeah, So I'm just giving you a little heads up.
- 6:03Speaker 4: It's one of your favorite one of.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Your favorites, one of my favorites.
- 6:06Speaker 4: He might be a Ginger singer. Oh and not Rick.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Astley, No, definitely not that, but I like that song.
- 6:15Speaker 4: What's going on here?
- 6:16Speaker 3: You're talking about the mess in this area yesterday? Well,
- 6:18Speaker 3: a truck carrying a thirty four thousand pound industrial oven
- 6:22Speaker 3: hit a bridge on the Dallas Doore Tollway yesterday. That
- 6:24Speaker 3: was what was causing all of those lanes to back up.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Southbound because this thing just spilled right out onto the roadway.
- 6:30Speaker 4: Oh it was bad.
- 6:32Speaker 2: All lanes southbound right here at six thirty five shut down.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And the crazy part was is I got an alert,
- 6:38Speaker 2: like an amber alert type did alert on my phone. Wow,
- 6:42Speaker 2: I've never gotten one of those. And my friend Ray,
- 6:44Speaker 2: who I was with, yeah, is in LA, and he's like,
- 6:47Speaker 2: I've never gotten one of those.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Get shut down.
- 6:49Speaker 2: My phone took over for a minute and said emergency
- 6:52Speaker 2: update on my phone and it said all lanes shut
- 6:56Speaker 2: down for an emergency southbound on the tollway at six
- 6:59Speaker 2: thirty five.
- 7:00Speaker 3: I don't know if it was maybe it was the
- 7:01Speaker 3: thing who was talking about.
- 7:02Speaker 4: No that was that was another thing going on.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean all this was right during rush hour.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I was looking at the like overhead cam and I
- 7:08Speaker 3: was like, oh, there's a Dix. There's our view.
- 7:11Speaker 8: You know.
- 7:12Speaker 3: It was good to see like our view from a
- 7:13Speaker 3: different you know. Later the day it was weird was massive, massive.
- 7:18Speaker 3: Thankfully no injuries were reported, but it took a while
- 7:21Speaker 3: for people to even figure out what this thing was.
- 7:23Speaker 3: There was just pieces of it everywhere. It just felt
- 7:26Speaker 3: right off the truck. But the comments were wild. People
- 7:28Speaker 3: were like we got a big issue cook it up,
- 7:32Speaker 3: and then people like the toy is cooked like so
- 7:35Speaker 3: it gave people kind of a laugh knowing you know,
- 7:37Speaker 3: traffic was only the worst of this situation yesterday. But yeah,
- 7:41Speaker 3: if you see a picture of it, that's what it was.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I'm g O glad nobody was hurt because I was
- 7:46Speaker 2: forty minutes late for dinner because of it.
- 7:47Speaker 4: But yeah, it was bad.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yeah, guys. The Sheriff's department handling the Nancy Guthrie search
- 7:52Speaker 3: has been sued by three Tucson residents who were wrongly
- 7:55Speaker 3: identified as being connected to the case. So do you
- 7:59Speaker 3: hear that guy there arrested at gunpoint? They questioned him
- 8:01Speaker 3: for four hours and then released him. I guess he
- 8:04Speaker 3: was traveling in a van near the area or something.
- 8:07Speaker 3: He's now suing for two point five million dollars. Then
- 8:11Speaker 3: another man who was handcuffed outside his home while they
- 8:14Speaker 3: searched the property suing for five hundred thousand dollars. And
- 8:17Speaker 3: then a woman is suing for two hundred and fifty
- 8:19Speaker 3: thousand dollars for damage is caused by deputies executing a
- 8:23Speaker 3: search warrant.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Everybody's suing.
- 8:24Speaker 3: What a mess? This PMA County Sheriff's Department is going
- 8:28Speaker 3: through they have that reality show. I just can't believe
- 8:31Speaker 3: this is real.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I'm actually gonna ssuehim too.
- 8:33Speaker 3: You might as well.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Everybody else is.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Yeah, but can you imagine is that worth it two
- 8:37Speaker 3: point five million if you were just you know, questioned
- 8:40Speaker 3: by the police, arrested and then released.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I mean that's the thing is people now sue for
- 8:44Speaker 2: everything A little yeah, scare. I mean I think that
- 8:48Speaker 2: person's saying that he was detained, and yes, pretty much,
- 8:51Speaker 2: he's saying he was kidnapped.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Yeah for four hours.
- 8:53Speaker 4: For four hours, that was pretty much kidnapped by the police.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, technically, guys, this is the best news ever.
- 9:00Speaker 3: She has Silverstone and she's coming back as share for
- 9:02Speaker 3: a Clueless series at Paramount Plus. The show will take
- 9:06Speaker 3: place at thirty years after the movie. I could not
- 9:09Speaker 3: be more excited for this.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I mean, it is an old school classic.
- 9:14Speaker 3: It is that movie. I mean it like really opened
- 9:16Speaker 3: my eyes to the world of like, you know, Beverly
- 9:19Speaker 3: Hills and just like how the other side lives. Ah, yes, exactly.
- 9:25Speaker 3: I can't wait. So Cher is now a successful business
- 9:27Speaker 3: owner and mom. She I guess thinks she has it
- 9:30Speaker 3: all figured out until her daughter starts high school, which
- 9:32Speaker 3: has her feeling clueless. The original movies director and producer
- 9:37Speaker 3: are part of this. It doesn't have a title or
- 9:39Speaker 3: expected release date yet, but if it sounds familiar last year,
- 9:43Speaker 3: it was in the works at Peacock and then it
- 9:45Speaker 3: got scrapped.
- 9:46Speaker 4: Okay, that's what I'm thinking of it. I'm like, I
- 9:47Speaker 4: thought this already happened.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it was a thing, and then it wasn't
- 9:50Speaker 3: a thing. Now it's back for Paramount Plus. No word
- 9:53Speaker 3: yet on if any other returning cast members will be back,
- 9:56Speaker 3: but I would love to see Paul Rudd as Stacy
- 9:59Speaker 3: dash Donald's faison. Please join the show. The soundtrack was epic.
- 10:04Speaker 3: It's gonna be huge.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Should I watch the original? Yeah, you would love.
- 10:09Speaker 3: It just for the music, I bet.
- 10:12Speaker 2: How do I know all the quotes from the movie?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Like I know, Yeah, I've never seen the movie. Who's
- 10:18Speaker 2: watched it multiple times?
- 10:20Speaker 5: A couple of times, but back in the day I
- 10:22Speaker 5: have I need to refresh my Yeah memory, Honey, he
- 10:25Speaker 5: watches every girly movie possible, I mean everything.
- 10:28Speaker 4: I'm not mad at.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Yeah he loves oh yeah, he totally relates to clueless
- 10:34Speaker 2: as if.

- 12:39Speaker 2: is difficult. Headline number one, are you ready? Yep? Wyoming

- 13:47Speaker 2: Wow.
- 13:47Speaker 4: I mean if you go.
- 13:48Speaker 2: One week without winning anything, not one time, that is

- 14:47Speaker 2: It was going into the weekend with a big fat
- 14:50Speaker 2: dub me. Yes, I win today because the fake story
- 15:04Speaker 2: was actually the last one. Researchers say, people who say
- 15:08Speaker 2: they're five minutes away or actually twenty one minutes away,
- 15:11Speaker 2: I just made that up.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Sounds about right.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:14Speaker 2: If I say I'm five minutes away, I'm definitely just
- 15:16Speaker 2: getting in the car.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I mean, I'm on the to way.
- 15:20Speaker 2: If who says he's five minutes away, he's just getting
- 15:22Speaker 2: the shower.
- 15:24Speaker 4: To leave.
- 15:25Speaker 2: If Kenna says she's five minutes away, she's five minutes.
- 15:30Speaker 2: That's the difference between us. All right, let's get to
- 15:32Speaker 2: the real stories. This is a wild one. So North
- 15:35Speaker 2: Carolina woman charged with the salt after stabbing her boyfriend
- 15:39Speaker 2: with a hot dog. Yeah, her name is oh, I
- 15:44Speaker 2: can't pronounce this, oh Zimone Williams, twenty one, was arrested
- 15:50Speaker 2: in Greenville, North Carolina, after Warren say she stabbed her
- 15:53Speaker 2: boyfriend in the chest, punched him, and cut him in
- 15:56Speaker 2: the arm and face. And now she's charged with the
- 15:58Speaker 2: salt with a deadly weapon along with the domestic violence charge.
- 16:02Speaker 2: What I'm not sure? Oh, this is why she stabbed
- 16:07Speaker 2: him with a hot dog that was still on the
- 16:09Speaker 2: roasting fork. Okay, that's what the story says. Okay, show
- 16:17Speaker 2: you So there they were roasting wieners. What you do
- 16:21Speaker 2: over our campfire? You know? Yeah, people do that, Yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 2: roast and he got the little fork thing, so it's
- 16:26Speaker 2: on the fork. They got into it when that was
- 16:29Speaker 2: going down, and she's like, bro boink stabbed him in the.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Chest with it. He's okay, thankfully, he's all right. But
- 16:38Speaker 4: she's not. She's in jail.
- 16:40Speaker 2: She's in the county jail right now, Come on, simone, Yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 2: take the take it off the fork and just throw
- 16:47Speaker 2: the hot dog at him.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 16:53Speaker 4: Yeah, you'll feel better.
- 16:56Speaker 2: But nobody's gonna get hurt. Yeah, no, jail time, you
- 17:00Speaker 2: never know. Headline the other real headline that was very disturbing.
- 17:05Speaker 2: This is just sometimes I look at these stories and
- 17:08Speaker 2: I'm like, there's no way. So this woman got cold feet.
- 17:12Speaker 2: She was getting get ready to get married. She's getting
- 17:15Speaker 2: cold feet. So she's like, all right, what do I do.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Her name is Lenita Moreno. She was supposed to wed
- 17:21Speaker 2: her fiance at the Later Day Saints' Church, but she
- 17:24Speaker 2: began having second thoughts, so she headed to a nearby
- 17:26Speaker 2: Ace hardware store where she bought two lighters, which she
- 17:31Speaker 2: took back to the place of worship and set this
- 17:36Speaker 2: whole entire thing on fire using what as a starter.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Tampons. No, you lie Yep. She dug in her purse.
- 17:46Speaker 2: She goes, I don't know, I got two lighters and
- 17:48Speaker 2: what else do I have? Oh?
- 17:49Speaker 4: Here we go?
- 17:51Speaker 3: Wow?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yep. Authorities say the fire caused one hundred and eight
- 17:57Speaker 2: thousand dollars in damages. Oh man, Lenita, Okay, this is
- 18:02Speaker 2: where it gets weird. Lenita Moreno, also known as Tessa.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Oh how do you get Tessa out of Lenita? Yeah?
- 18:09Speaker 4: This sounds more like Veronica activities.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Either way, she was thrown in jail and she might
- 18:16Speaker 2: be there for a while for arson and many other things.
- 18:19Speaker 2: But yeah, wow though, Yeah, but did she get married? No?
- 18:25Speaker 2: You know what, Honestly, I still think this might be
- 18:27Speaker 2: the more rational decision. No, good morning, It's Bailly the Kid,
- 18:31Speaker 2: Candicelow pass, pretty Serre?
- 18:33Speaker 4: Who is here? We got a dirty little secret coming
- 18:34Speaker 4: up at seven thirty.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Also eight thirty, Wheel a Misfortune today, which you know
- 18:40Speaker 2: last week we did it every day. Now we're just
- 18:42Speaker 2: gonna start doing it on Fridays because people liked it.
- 18:44Speaker 2: They were like, hey, no, we do it. Do it
- 18:46Speaker 2: do it on Fridays for fun, for fun.
- 18:48Speaker 4: For who?
- 18:49Speaker 3: Right? Two of us?
- 18:52Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 18:52Speaker 2: I lost last time and I had to eat an
- 18:54Speaker 2: entire bag of Taylor Farm's parasite lettuce.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Yeah, you're fine.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Surprisingly, okay, Ye, surprisingly I felt better. I think it's
- 19:03Speaker 2: because I'm built in the nineties. I think gen X
- 19:06Speaker 2: just different, you know what I mean. I know you're
- 19:08Speaker 2: an elder millennial. Yeah, so you wouldn't relate. No, not
- 19:10Speaker 2: at all, Impusa boomer. No either way, I was fine.
- 19:14Speaker 2: But we'll play that at eight thirty. So we play
- 19:16Speaker 2: trivia and then what happens is whoever loses has to
- 19:18Speaker 2: spin the wheel of misfortune with just ridiculous things on it.
- 19:21Speaker 2: So A thirty for that. I saw this, and this
- 19:24Speaker 2: is funny. We haven't done age yourself in a while.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Yah, we'll do.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Aide yourself with blank, aige yourself sometimes we've done with
- 19:29Speaker 2: an old school snack. Aide yourself with a restaurant that's
- 19:32Speaker 2: no longer around today. Age yourself with an old school
- 19:35Speaker 2: struggle that would break people today. Age yourself with an
- 19:40Speaker 2: old school struggle that would break people today. You can
- 19:45Speaker 2: always call us at eight three three seven, eight seven
- 19:47Speaker 2: one o two nine or at Billy on the radio
- 19:49Speaker 2: if you want to shoot me a DM. I can
- 19:51Speaker 2: read it a little bit later on. And this was
- 19:53Speaker 2: number What, there's no numbers, it's just number one on
- 19:55Speaker 2: the list that I saw waiting by the phone for
- 19:59Speaker 2: a call.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Oh yes, okay, And it took me back.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Yeah, my kiddo and his cousin in California, who's coming
- 20:07Speaker 3: this weekend. They've been into facetiming lately. And we were
- 20:10Speaker 3: in the car and she called and the connection was
- 20:12Speaker 3: batter the camera wasn't working something like that. He was like,
- 20:15Speaker 3: I'll just you know, just call me back in like
- 20:16Speaker 3: thirty minutes, right. Him waiting for her to call just
- 20:20Speaker 3: reminded me of this, like he got a taste of
- 20:22Speaker 3: what it's like. I'm like, he's like, should I call her?
- 20:24Speaker 3: I was like, no, just wait, you said thirty minutes.
- 20:27Speaker 4: That's kind of cute too.
- 20:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but we used to have to do this all
- 20:30Speaker 2: the time.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Yeah, all the time.
- 20:31Speaker 2: And I thought like I remember a time, and I know,
- 20:34Speaker 2: I saw like old school unk over here. Yeah, when
- 20:36Speaker 2: we didn't have cell phones, and I thought, oh my gosh,
- 20:39Speaker 2: I remember like my first crush saying she was gonna
- 20:42Speaker 2: call me, Yeah, i'll call you later on. I'm like,
- 20:44Speaker 2: what time, Like, I don't know, around five, And I
- 20:46Speaker 2: would wait, I couldn't do anything. I couldn't go out right,
- 20:50Speaker 2: God forbid. I sent her to our answering machine. Remember
- 20:54Speaker 2: answering machines?
- 20:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 20:56Speaker 6: Coming home seeing that red light?
- 20:58Speaker 3: Yeah, oh I got a message.
- 20:59Speaker 5: Hey, I gotta raise it because one of my teachers called.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Oh that was the thing.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Age yourself with blank, age yourself with somebody else, put
- 21:10Speaker 2: writing everything down by hand.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Oh I still do that.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I like, Pa, I'm old school, but before you
- 21:17Speaker 2: know smartphones, people actually had to write things down. Yep.
- 21:21Speaker 4: And now people don't even know how to write.
- 21:22Speaker 2: No, So penmanship of these kids. And I know I
- 21:25Speaker 2: sound like a grandpa.
- 21:26Speaker 6: It's awful.
- 21:27Speaker 4: No, I bet it's awful. Have you seen a kid write? Yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 4: they don't know how to write.
- 21:31Speaker 6: My kids, I was like, what is that?
- 21:33Speaker 4: I know my son's fifteen. I'm like, writer, what is this?
- 21:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 21:36Speaker 6: What do you talk about? You can read it plain
- 21:38Speaker 6: this day? I was like no, I can't.
- 21:39Speaker 2: No, And it's like I want to love it, Like
- 21:41Speaker 2: you wrote me a Father's Day card and I go,
- 21:43Speaker 2: I bet you this is really nice?
- 21:46Speaker 4: Can you translate it for me? He's like, really good? Oh,
- 21:51Speaker 4: here's one.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Here's an old school struggle that would break people today
- 21:55Speaker 2: hunting down a payphone.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Oh, getting a time machine for that.
- 22:00Speaker 6: Yeah, especially when you had a page and you had
- 22:02Speaker 6: to make a call.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Yeah, forgot about payphone?
- 22:06Speaker 4: Yeah, and then you have a quarter?
- 22:07Speaker 3: Yeah, hunt a quarter of using the payphone.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Trying to explain that to somebody who was young, like
- 22:11Speaker 2: my son when he was younger, we saw a payphone
- 22:14Speaker 2: somewhere and he's like WHOA, Like what because I still
- 22:18Speaker 2: don't you know? Now I look at one and I'm
- 22:20Speaker 2: like that's weird. But I'm like, yeah, you would have
- 22:22Speaker 2: to He goes, why didn't they just use their cell phones?
- 22:24Speaker 4: Right? They didn't have any?
- 22:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you'd have to have a quarter, and
- 22:27Speaker 2: you'd put it in there, and then you could dial
- 22:29Speaker 2: the number if you give somebody the number to that payphone,
- 22:31Speaker 2: and they could call you exactly that you would pay
- 22:35Speaker 2: someone and put that number in the you know, pager.
- 22:39Speaker 2: But then you'd have to put your code so they
- 22:40Speaker 2: knew it was you totally, because everybody had a code.
- 22:43Speaker 4: Didn't you have a code? What was your code?
- 22:45Speaker 3: I'm not saying it because it's also my bank pen.
- 22:47Speaker 6: Now I'll tell you mine.
- 22:49Speaker 5: Mine was one eight seven ye oh, yeah, I think
- 22:53Speaker 5: mine was like mine was actually nine, like nine one
- 22:56Speaker 5: one or something, yeah.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Because it was like my birthday September first or something.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Age A struggle that would break people today, an old
- 23:04Speaker 2: school struggle, and this person wrote down something funny that
- 23:07Speaker 2: sparked a memory is finding out if you had a
- 23:10Speaker 2: snow day. And this was big for me because I
- 23:13Speaker 2: grew up up North and it wasn't like now where
- 23:17Speaker 2: they just text you. You would have to sit in
- 23:19Speaker 2: front of the television or listen to the radio and
- 23:23Speaker 2: wait for them to say your school's name in alphabetical order.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Yep. You watch that scroll on the TV and you're like,
- 23:30Speaker 3: do I get dressed? Do I not get dressed?
- 23:34Speaker 6: But yet?
- 23:36Speaker 4: But we would celebrate it like we just hit the
- 23:39Speaker 4: power ball. Yeah, because when.
- 23:41Speaker 2: We saw our school's name, oh, it was like wow,
- 23:48Speaker 2: it was only.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Once a year pretty much, but oh yeah.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Here, Okay, I didn't know this. But nowadays all you
- 23:54Speaker 2: do is like we'll probably not have it. In the
- 23:56Speaker 2: night before it's like you get a text like no school.
- 23:59Speaker 4: Yeah, so true. Okay.
- 24:02Speaker 2: One of the last ones had me laughing. An old
- 24:05Speaker 2: school struggle that would break people today. Sharing a party line.
- 24:08Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I never did this.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Did you get three way calls?
- 24:12Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 24:12Speaker 4: Three way? What was a party line? I don't remember
- 24:15Speaker 4: party lines.
- 24:15Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 3: I think you could call and get like ten people
- 24:18Speaker 3: on it.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, so several people would get together on one
- 24:21Speaker 2: party line. Yeah.
- 24:22Speaker 3: I think you had to pay though.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that was extra.
- 24:25Speaker 6: It caused the extra to get a party line. Really,
- 24:27Speaker 6: so we just do three ways.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Like I'd call candiceys three way and she could call you,
- 24:31Speaker 5: and you could call somebody else.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Not everybody had it, so you had to get the
- 24:34Speaker 3: person that paid for the three way service.
- 24:36Speaker 2: This is gonna sound so old, but I remember getting
- 24:39Speaker 2: excited when my family got a are you ready but
- 24:42Speaker 2: a cordless phone?
- 24:43Speaker 3: Oh?
- 24:43Speaker 6: Oh yeah, you could tell me nothing. I'd walk outside.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought I was.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah. Do you remember getting the caller ID box?
- 24:52Speaker 4: Oh big, I can see who's calling.
- 24:56Speaker 5: Speaking of phones, your girlfriend, you could call a person
- 25:04Speaker 5: till after nine o'clock and then the minutes are free.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you got Yeah, and if somebody called you
- 25:10Speaker 2: at like eight thirty, you're like, what are you doing? Right?
- 25:13Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 25:13Speaker 3: Stop it right now.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Three nights and weekends, yeah, remember, yeah, God, on the
- 25:19Speaker 2: weekends you can shut me up.
- 25:24Speaker 8: Tough stories on the deads with Billy the Kid in the.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Morning only on the new Mixed one or two point nine.
- 25:30Speaker 4: I am cracking up.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I gotta get to these calls, these old school struggles.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I got some good ones. Renee had such a funny one. Well,
- 25:36Speaker 2: we'll talk to her a little bit later on Leslie too.
- 25:39Speaker 2: So many good struggles from back in the day. The
- 25:41Speaker 2: kids would never understand.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Nowadays, never understand back in my day.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, Candae Slowpez, what is going on?
- 25:48Speaker 3: Well, the Plano City Council just approved a new one
- 25:51Speaker 3: point for million dollar police drone program. So these will
- 25:54Speaker 3: be different than the ones that they're using right now.
- 25:57Speaker 3: These will launch from the tops of city buildings and
- 26:00Speaker 3: be operated by trained civilian staff who will communicate with dispatchers.
- 26:04Speaker 3: The goal is to help first responders get to emergencies
- 26:07Speaker 3: faster and improve overall situational awareness. Now there are some
- 26:12Speaker 3: concerns from residents though, about privacy. People are asking how
- 26:16Speaker 3: this footage will be used. They're telling those people these
- 26:19Speaker 3: cameras won't even turn on until they get to the scene.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Sure.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Yeah. They're also saying these will have special tech to
- 26:26Speaker 3: help them find missing people, identify suspects who may be
- 26:30Speaker 3: hiding or fleeing, and then also communicate with people at
- 26:33Speaker 3: the scene, and then eventually they'd be able to deliver
- 26:36Speaker 3: things like narcan and EpiPen. So really interesting stuff in Platida.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Such a double edged short.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Speaking of old school struggles, like technology you want to
- 26:44Speaker 2: embrace because there's so many good things that come out
- 26:46Speaker 2: of it. Yeah, then there's also like scary things that
- 26:48Speaker 2: you think of. And I'm just to the point in
- 26:51Speaker 2: life where there's cameras everywhere, right, so we're going to
- 26:55Speaker 2: be on camera? Do I want to accept it? Not necessarily,
- 26:58Speaker 2: but like the big deal about.
- 26:59Speaker 3: These flows are Yeah, people are going crazy.
- 27:02Speaker 2: About pole are freaking out because no matter where you go,
- 27:05Speaker 2: you're going to be spotted on a camera. Yeah, it's
- 27:07Speaker 2: just that's just the way it is, right. I don't
- 27:09Speaker 2: love it.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Though, No, I definitely don't love it. I feel like
- 27:12Speaker 3: there's there's room for improvement.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Then there's a part of me that wants to just
- 27:16Speaker 2: moon the cameras every time I see it, Like that's
- 27:18Speaker 2: the old.
- 27:19Speaker 4: School in me.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Well I may do it if you want.
- 27:22Speaker 2: If I see a Plano drone, I'm gonna have the
- 27:24Speaker 2: urge to moon it. I'm going through that, but I
- 27:27Speaker 2: know I want. I'm growing up, I know that. I know.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Sure, guys. The State Fair of Texas was just named
- 27:35Speaker 3: number six and yelp's the top the state fair of
- 27:38Speaker 3: festival foods in the US. I feel like we should
- 27:41Speaker 3: be much higher on that list.
- 27:43Speaker 2: First of all, I love a good list. I'm so
- 27:45Speaker 2: mad at that list number six. This is the best
- 27:47Speaker 2: fare in the world. Get your life together, whoever made this?
- 27:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it is a big day for the fair though,
- 27:51Speaker 3: today though, because all the stuffed animals for the games
- 27:55Speaker 3: on the midway are getting delivered, which is really exciting.
- 27:58Speaker 3: The fair doesn't open until September twenty fifth, but how
- 28:00Speaker 3: fun that all the stuffies are gonna get delivered today.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I always know it's getting close because last year we
- 28:06Speaker 2: walked to the fair, yeah, and it became like a
- 28:08Speaker 2: big deal and we gave away like five hundred tickets.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I think we're already planning on to do it this year. Okay,
- 28:13Speaker 2: make it even bigger with more tickets.
- 28:14Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Good, I'm excited.
- 28:16Speaker 3: I am too. A guy. Spider Man brand New Day
- 28:19Speaker 3: is predicted to earn well over two hundred million dollars
- 28:22Speaker 3: in theaters this weekend. It brought in fifty million just
- 28:25Speaker 3: last night at previews, which is the best Thursday preview
- 28:29Speaker 3: release post Pandemic and the third biggest in Hollywood history.
- 28:32Speaker 3: This movie is getting really great reviews. People who saw
- 28:36Speaker 3: it last night gave it a ninety eight percent positive score.
- 28:39Speaker 3: It's probably gonna knock the Odyssey down, But it's crazy
- 28:42Speaker 3: that Tom Holland and Zendaiya, who are in the Spider
- 28:44Speaker 3: Man movie are also in the Odyssey. Are they're going
- 28:48Speaker 3: to have like the number one and number two movies
- 28:50Speaker 3: of the week.
- 28:51Speaker 4: Is that a record?
- 28:52Speaker 3: I don't know. It's pretty remarkable.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Is Spider Man good?
- 28:55Speaker 3: Yes, it's honestly one of my favorites?
- 28:58Speaker 4: Which one?
- 28:58Speaker 3: Yeah? The first one for me though, the first?
- 29:01Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, it was the best Spider Man.
- 29:04Speaker 3: I mean that's tough. People love Tom Holland. Toby's who
- 29:09Speaker 3: got me into Spider Man.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Who thinks Tom is hot? That's not the Yeah, cool,
- 29:15Speaker 4: I've never seen a Spider Man.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Oh, okay, I'm seeing the first one. You need to
- 29:19Speaker 3: watch the second one.
- 29:20Speaker 4: Okay, maybe i'll watch it this weekend.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you should, uh, real quick guys. Kesha is asking
- 29:26Speaker 3: fans to send her their teeth again, so she gave
- 29:29Speaker 3: out her PO box for this. Apparently this hobby started
- 29:32Speaker 3: in twenty eleven after a fan offered their child's lost
- 29:35Speaker 3: tooth and she turned it into jewelry. What I know
- 29:39Speaker 3: since then, I guess she's been making necklaces, airing, she
- 29:42Speaker 3: made a belt and she just like stores them around
- 29:45Speaker 3: her house in jars, which is like worse than the scabs.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Didn't we were talking about the scab jar.
- 29:53Speaker 4: Collect scabs is the most disgusting thing ever.
- 29:55Speaker 3: One of my science teachers did, that's that's fingernails.
- 29:59Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I know, yeah what Yeah, we know somebody
- 30:02Speaker 4: who collects fingernails.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Yeah we do, we do, yeah yeah yeah. And I'm
- 30:08Speaker 2: always really nice to them because I want to be
- 30:10Speaker 2: the last one to die.
- 30:12Speaker 4: And he goes off.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Super nice guy, like so nice you almost want to
- 30:19Speaker 2: normalize the fact that he collects toenails and fingernails. But
- 30:21Speaker 2: they're like, I can't do that.
- 30:23Speaker 3: But teeth. Teeth is wild, just random people's teeth.
- 30:27Speaker 4: So Kasha asks people where are they sending.
- 30:29Speaker 3: The teeth to her PO box?
- 30:31Speaker 2: In la Is Why does she want their teeth? Don't
- 30:34Speaker 2: get it.
- 30:34Speaker 4: She makes jewelry.
- 30:35Speaker 3: She makes jewelry. Yeah, I mean, do you want a
- 30:37Speaker 3: necklace with a random tooth on it? I mean you
- 30:39Speaker 3: have like a shark's tooth necklace?
- 30:41Speaker 4: Yeah, but I don't have someone from mesquites too.
- 30:45Speaker 3: Well, now you can will make it for you.
- 30:47Speaker 2: That is insane. Human teeth necklace?
- 30:50Speaker 3: Weird?
- 30:51Speaker 4: What world are we living?
- 30:52Speaker 8: It?
- 30:52Speaker 3: A very weird one, very weird one. Guys. I'm Kana
- 30:54Speaker 3: Slowpezos are your Texas top stories.
- 30:58Speaker 7: To promise you'll feel welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Oh, it's on Mixed one or two point nine. Good morning,
- 31:04Speaker 2: Billy the Kid, Candice Lopez producer. Who is here Dirty
- 31:07Speaker 2: Little Secret? If you've got a secret eight three to
- 31:09Speaker 2: three seven eighty seven one two nine, it is time
- 31:11Speaker 2: to confess.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Make it good? Okay, it could be anything. I don't care.
- 31:14Speaker 2: If you want to DM me first and set it
- 31:16Speaker 2: up that way at Billy on the Radio on Instagram,
- 31:19Speaker 2: shoot me a message, we'll figure it out. Yeah, it's anonymous.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Promise we will not share your name or info.
- 31:25Speaker 4: And you have one? How are you?
- 31:27Speaker 2: Oh?
- 31:27Speaker 10: I'm pretty good about you.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I'm good okay, So what is going on you have
- 31:31Speaker 2: any confession, a secret.
- 31:32Speaker 4: I'm ready for it.
- 31:33Speaker 9: Okay, I need deep to tell me if I've just
- 31:35Speaker 9: lost my mind or what.
- 31:37Speaker 10: So my twenty year high school reunion is this.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Fall, boo, and.
- 31:44Speaker 9: I am seriously considering hiring a hot Make sure y'all
- 31:50Speaker 9: want to make it very clear, very hot male escort
- 31:55Speaker 9: to be my date.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Oh what, no, you are thinking about Okay, Alma, I
- 32:01Speaker 2: know you're thinking about hiring a hot male escort to
- 32:04Speaker 2: be your date for your twenty year high school reunion.
- 32:07Speaker 10: Yes, now, I know this sounds ridiculous. Tear me out.
- 32:11Speaker 10: I was not a popular girl in high school.
- 32:14Speaker 9: I was much heavier than I was, very shy, very nerdy,
- 32:18Speaker 9: and like I basically hid for all four years and
- 32:24Speaker 9: I did not go to any other reunion because I
- 32:27Speaker 9: just did not want to have to like relive any
- 32:29Speaker 9: of the garbage that was that experience. Right, But, like,
- 32:33Speaker 9: my life is very different now that I'm a full
- 32:37Speaker 9: grown adult, and now I look a lot different.
- 32:43Speaker 3: I lost like eight.
- 32:45Speaker 10: Pounds, I had changed my teeth. I feel a lot
- 32:51Speaker 10: more confident. In general.
- 32:54Speaker 9: I'm very excited because I have a really great career.
- 32:58Speaker 9: I you know, I provide for myself and my entire
- 33:02Speaker 9: life is something that I'm just very proud of.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Well that's you had a glow up. You had a
- 33:06Speaker 2: glow up.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 33:07Speaker 9: I had a serious glow up. Yeah the twenty years
- 33:11Speaker 9: I got pretty and.
- 33:15Speaker 10: Anyway, So like the thing that though, is that, like you.
- 33:18Speaker 9: Know, like every good rom com, I don't have like
- 33:21Speaker 9: the guy at the end of the story, right, and
- 33:24Speaker 9: you want.
- 33:24Speaker 4: The perfect picture.
- 33:25Speaker 2: You want to show up to the reunion going look
- 33:28Speaker 2: at me, I'm hot, I got a great job, I
- 33:31Speaker 2: got a hot dude. Life is perfect.
- 33:34Speaker 9: Yeah, legit, because you nailed it. Like, I know so
- 33:37Speaker 9: many of those girls that I went to school with,
- 33:39Speaker 9: like they they did not do the you know, college
- 33:43Speaker 9: career path, and they married and they have these beautiful
- 33:47Speaker 9: families and beautiful children, and they're going to be there
- 33:50Speaker 9: looking like they stepped directly out of an Instagram post.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Do you know what I'm saying?
- 33:54Speaker 2: Right, Is this the worst idea ever? I don't think
- 33:57Speaker 2: it's the worst idea ever.
- 33:59Speaker 3: No, but they're like, aren't also exactly what they look
- 34:02Speaker 3: like on Instagram?
- 34:03Speaker 2: No?
- 34:03Speaker 3: No, nobody's ever exactly as they appear.
- 34:06Speaker 2: No, but I don't know if that matters. I mean really,
- 34:09Speaker 2: because if you're going to the reunion, and and I
- 34:11Speaker 2: get why you would want to flex on everyone, especially
- 34:14Speaker 2: if you, you know, back in the day you were
- 34:16Speaker 2: considered to be quote unquote a nerd or whatever. Yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 2: and if it makes you feel better, I say, who cares.
- 34:22Speaker 3: I mean, really, it's kind of a fun like social experiment.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Just like it's not like if you were going to
- 34:29Speaker 2: see these people all the time that it'll be like,
- 34:30Speaker 2: don't get yourself into a lie that you can't really
- 34:32Speaker 2: live with. But if you're going to see him one
- 34:35Speaker 2: want and done.
- 34:36Speaker 9: Have some fun, right, I mean, That's what I'm thinking,
- 34:39Speaker 9: and like and even if like I also was just thinking,
- 34:41Speaker 9: like how fun would it be to come up with
- 34:43Speaker 9: like the backstory of like how we met, you know
- 34:45Speaker 9: what I mean, Like we could have this like funny
- 34:47Speaker 9: little story and it could be so The other thing
- 34:49Speaker 9: is it could also just be like the dumbest thing
- 34:52Speaker 9: and it could be like so romy and Michelle, where
- 34:55Speaker 9: I get so found out.
- 34:57Speaker 2: That's my only concern. My only concern is for and
- 35:00Speaker 2: this is the kind of thing that would happen to
- 35:01Speaker 2: me for some odd, weird, crazy reason. They're like wait,
- 35:04Speaker 2: I hired that guy before to be an escort. Yeah
- 35:07Speaker 2: that's great. Yeah, I mean I say it's fun, But
- 35:11Speaker 2: at the end of the day, would I do it.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Probably not. I say, you go in there on it. Yeah,
- 35:16Speaker 2: Like you go in there and you first of all,
- 35:18Speaker 2: I'm sure you can get an attractive man who you
- 35:20Speaker 2: would be proud of without paying them.
- 35:22Speaker 4: One.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Two, you sound fun, you know, you sound like you're
- 35:25Speaker 2: a good time and why not. And also just be
- 35:28Speaker 2: proud of being you. You had a glower with all this.
- 35:30Speaker 2: It almost might be a bigger flex in twenty twenty
- 35:33Speaker 2: six to say I'm having a good time. Look at me,
- 35:36Speaker 2: I'm hot, I'm successful, and I don't need a man.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Right, all those posts are going around like all my
- 35:41Speaker 3: friends are having babies and getting married and I'm out
- 35:43Speaker 3: her booking trips or whatever.
- 35:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you're catching flights, not.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Feelings, you know, not the worst thing in the world.
- 35:48Speaker 4: But do whatever you want. Listen.
- 35:50Speaker 2: The only thing I would say, absolutely, whatever you do,
- 35:52Speaker 2: tell us so we can get.
- 35:53Speaker 4: An update on it.
- 35:54Speaker 9: Right, totally, I can't wait to tell you how it goes.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Everybody, all right, well, let us know if you do
- 36:00Speaker 2: or not, and have fun with it and enjoy yourself. Really,
- 36:03Speaker 2: it's like it should be a matter of when you're
- 36:06Speaker 2: living your best life. You don't have to flex that
- 36:08Speaker 2: you're living your best life. People will just feel that energy. Yeah,
- 36:11Speaker 2: you know, so that's what you should do.
- 36:14Speaker 10: I love it.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Thank you so much.
- 36:15Speaker 6: You're welcome.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Let us know, hold on, stand, let us know what happens.
- 36:19Speaker 2: You don't want to hire something like that. That's a
- 36:20Speaker 2: lot we laugh about it. But where and where are
- 36:22Speaker 2: they coming from?
- 36:23Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:23Speaker 4: Right, how would I even do that? I have no idea,
- 36:26Speaker 4: you know what I mean?
- 36:26Speaker 3: Where do you go Craigslist? I don't know. Marketplace, Candace,
- 36:30Speaker 3: I have no idea. I'm just saying, yeah.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I'll tell you exactly where to go and click my
- 36:36Speaker 2: link for a twenty percent discount.
- 36:38Speaker 6: Oh god, he's.
- 36:40Speaker 8: Going for Candace Court. He gets settled here with Billy
- 36:44Speaker 8: the Kid in the morning.
- 36:45Speaker 2: All right, for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez.
- 36:50Speaker 4: I'm mixed one of two point nine.
- 36:52Speaker 2: It's Billy the Kid, Candas is your producer Poo's here
- 36:54Speaker 2: And I'm laughing because for whatever reason, producer Poo has
- 36:57Speaker 2: been moaning a lot behind the scenes. Have you noticed this,
- 37:01Speaker 2: Like so, I secretly started recording him. Yeah, moaning. I
- 37:04Speaker 2: don't know what the moans are all about it. I
- 37:08Speaker 2: don't know, Like so when I say moans, they're not
- 37:11Speaker 2: really moans are like hmm, but it's something that doesn't
- 37:15Speaker 2: really pertain to what we're talking about.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Yeah, the inflection is a little different, right, And it's
- 37:19Speaker 3: a it's a reaction that doesn't really I don't know.
- 37:22Speaker 4: It's a weird reaction to something somebody will say.
- 37:24Speaker 2: And I don't know if he's not paying attention, but
- 37:25Speaker 2: somebody will say something very like hey, I'm thinking about
- 37:28Speaker 2: hiring a male escort.
- 37:30Speaker 4: And he's like.
- 37:31Speaker 2: No, and I'm like what. So I started taking all
- 37:37Speaker 2: the little right and I save them.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Do some seem like maybe he just saw like a
- 37:44Speaker 3: Chick fil A ad?
- 37:45Speaker 4: That's more like.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Then every once in a while you'll get one of
- 37:49Speaker 2: these too, aura, So I'm just saving them all, like
- 38:02Speaker 2: so just to let you know what's going on over here.
- 38:05Speaker 3: No one's eating, by the.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Way, No, no one was eating during any of these clips.
- 38:08Speaker 2: It's not like he just tried something good and he
- 38:10Speaker 2: was like.
- 38:12Speaker 8: No.
- 38:12Speaker 4: That was like, hey, I'm going to hire a male escort.
- 38:16Speaker 6: That's what it was.
- 38:16Speaker 4: From when we just did during the Secret Wild.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Okay, good morning, all right, Candis Court, all rise, Let's
- 38:24Speaker 2: get serious. This is court, after all, this is certain
- 38:26Speaker 2: justice system in process.
- 38:29Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 38:30Speaker 2: If you have something for Candas you want her to
- 38:32Speaker 2: solve at Candas on air, At Candas on Air. Okay.
- 38:36Speaker 2: My parents are upset at me for something I'm not doing,
- 38:39Speaker 2: and I would love for you guys to talk about
- 38:41Speaker 2: it on Cannas Court. My daughter's first birthday is coming
- 38:44Speaker 2: up and I've decided not to have a party. I
- 38:48Speaker 2: just don't really get this trend of people having these big,
- 38:52Speaker 2: expensive birthday celebrations for one year olds with balloon arches,
- 38:56Speaker 2: carnival games, gift registries and things like that won't even
- 39:00Speaker 2: remember it. And people pick these themes for their kids
- 39:04Speaker 2: and the kids have no say so all they care
- 39:08Speaker 2: about is the cake. Okay, that's still all I care about.
- 39:12Speaker 2: It's a lot of pressure, and I've told my family
- 39:14Speaker 2: we won't be doing anything like that. My mom got
- 39:17Speaker 2: so upset and told me I would regret this someday,
- 39:21Speaker 2: and maybe sooner than I think. Oh now, I'm really
- 39:26Speaker 2: torn on what to do and who's right and who's wrong.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Cannas COURTD. Okay, so big birthday celebrations for kids. This
- 39:33Speaker 2: is a year celebration which I feel like is one
- 39:35Speaker 2: of the landmark birthdays.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I hate to say this, but I agree
- 39:39Speaker 3: with your mom. Yeah, I mean, first birthday parties have
- 39:43Speaker 3: never been about the kids. They're for you and your
- 39:46Speaker 3: family and to remember, you know, the kid. Maybe they're
- 39:49Speaker 3: having their first piece of cake, Maybe they're not. My
- 39:52Speaker 3: kid was that was his first piece of cake or
- 39:54Speaker 3: first taste of cake, and I like thrived in baking
- 39:57Speaker 3: that cake myself and sitting him up there.
- 40:00Speaker 2: He told me, said something one time to me, and
- 40:02Speaker 2: I just never forget it. They were like, anything under
- 40:04Speaker 2: five is a memory for you. Yeah, anything over five
- 40:07Speaker 2: is a memory for the child.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean if you don't want that memory, then
- 40:11Speaker 3: don't do it. But also, no one says you have
- 40:13Speaker 3: to have a balloon arch or custom cookies or all
- 40:15Speaker 3: of these things people are doing on the internet just
- 40:18Speaker 3: to be extra.
- 40:19Speaker 2: That was my thing.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Beautiful and fun.
- 40:21Speaker 4: They are, and if you want to do that, have
- 40:22Speaker 4: a blast.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Yeah. However, you want to create your memories, create your memories.
- 40:25Speaker 2: But sometimes I think that we do overplan things and
- 40:29Speaker 2: we go all out.
- 40:30Speaker 4: When we don't have to.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely.
- 40:32Speaker 2: Some of my best memories are when I spent the
- 40:34Speaker 2: least amount of money on things.
- 40:36Speaker 3: One of my birthday parties that was a picnic table
- 40:38Speaker 3: inside the garage my dad set up and they put,
- 40:41Speaker 3: you know, just a tablecloth over at a plastic one
- 40:44Speaker 3: and just me and my girlfriend's eating hot dogs and cake. Right, Yeah,
- 40:47Speaker 3: and you'll remember that got a bike that year.
- 40:49Speaker 2: You remember that forever, and it was perfect and it
- 40:52Speaker 2: was great memories for you, and it didn't cost a
- 40:54Speaker 2: million dollars, so you don't have to go all out.
- 40:57Speaker 2: That would be my compromise is you know what your
- 40:59Speaker 2: mom is also trying to share in these celebrations. Yep,
- 41:02Speaker 2: And that's a tough balance sometimes it is because yeah,
- 41:05Speaker 2: it's not their child, but at the same time it's
- 41:07Speaker 2: their grandchild. They want to feel included. They're used to things.
- 41:10Speaker 2: I mean, parenting's rough because there's a lot of dynamics
- 41:13Speaker 2: going on. Yeah, but why not have a little celebration
- 41:15Speaker 2: even if you're like, hey, you know what, you want
- 41:16Speaker 2: to do it at your house, then we could just
- 41:17Speaker 2: come over and have a little party at your place.
- 41:20Speaker 3: That's a good idea, tell your mom to throw it. Yeah,
- 41:22Speaker 3: maybe if you're just too stressed, you you.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Got things going on, well then just easy, then you
- 41:27Speaker 2: throw it.
- 41:27Speaker 4: I'll come over. We'll have a good time at your house.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Maybe we can do a pool party, if you have
- 41:31Speaker 2: a pool, whatever the case may be. And there you go.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Because of course the kid's not going to remember their
- 41:36Speaker 2: year birthday party, no, but one day they might go.
- 41:39Speaker 2: I'd love to see picks of that. Did you did
- 41:41Speaker 2: we do a smash cake or something or whatever they do?
- 41:43Speaker 3: Like the imagine saying no, honey, we didn't.
- 41:46Speaker 6: We didn't dinner, we went to Applebee's.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Yea, you aren't worth it. You weren't worth it unless
- 41:53Speaker 3: you're you know, just stress to the max and you
- 41:56Speaker 3: just don't have the capacity for it. But you have
- 41:58Speaker 3: to do something.
- 41:59Speaker 4: Yeah, well I guess you do. You don't have to.
- 42:02Speaker 3: I mean, I would think for your kids someday to
- 42:04Speaker 3: know that you did something, you know. I love looking
- 42:07Speaker 3: at the pictures with end so away. I was like balloon,
- 42:09Speaker 3: little balloon things going on, or a bubble machine going on,
- 42:12Speaker 3: and that was pretty much it. Some balloons and.
- 42:15Speaker 4: I remember riders. My son's first birthday.
- 42:18Speaker 2: I remember the MAVs had won the championship, and for
- 42:20Speaker 2: whatever reason, I remember, we had like a championship MAVs
- 42:23Speaker 2: hat and he was wearing it and when he smashed
- 42:25Speaker 2: his cake, he got cake all over it. And now
- 42:27Speaker 2: I'm a hoarder and I still have the hat. Oh so,
- 42:30Speaker 2: now he's fifteen and like, not a couple of years ago.
- 42:32Speaker 2: I showed him the pictures and he was like, oh man,
- 42:35Speaker 2: that's cool. Oh so you will create memories. They might
- 42:37Speaker 2: not remember it now, but they will eventually, and it
- 42:40Speaker 2: might be something they really appreciate. Yeah. No, I agree,
- 42:43Speaker 2: So I would rethink it.
- 42:43Speaker 4: But that's just me.
- 42:44Speaker 2: I'm not the judge. Cannics is the judge. You have
- 42:46Speaker 2: the official verdict.
- 42:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't want you to regret this right now.
- 42:49Speaker 3: You're guilty of being a one and done Donna. Oh yeah,
- 42:54Speaker 3: this is a big moment. And celebrate yourself too. You've
- 42:57Speaker 3: made it a year of motherhood.
- 42:59Speaker 4: She's not a party Patty.
- 43:01Speaker 3: She's also that I think she's also don't don't don't
- 43:04Speaker 3: regret this. Do something. You don't have to have a
- 43:06Speaker 3: big blowout with carnival games and animals and things like that.
- 43:09Speaker 3: Just have a little cake and do something.
- 43:11Speaker 4: I like that idea.
- 43:12Speaker 2: She is guilty of Bena.
- 43:13Speaker 3: And one and done, Donna.
- 43:16Speaker 8: Yep, it's Texas tough stories on the tents with Billy's
- 43:20Speaker 8: the Kid in the.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Morning only on the new Mix one or two point nine.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Had a chance to go to Disneyland and coming up
- 43:25Speaker 2: next to We're doing this all day, so so many
- 43:27Speaker 2: chances to win at your trip airfare, hotel on us.
- 43:30Speaker 2: It's summer ween, so be ready canice what's going on?
- 43:33Speaker 3: Well, our area right in front of our building yesterday
- 43:35Speaker 3: was an absolute mess. We had a police chase out front.
- 43:38Speaker 3: And then this truck that was carrying a thirty four
- 43:41Speaker 3: thousand pounds industrial on hit a bridge on the Dallas
- 43:44Speaker 3: or Tollway yesterday. This thing spilled out into the southbound lanes,
- 43:49Speaker 3: blocked up everything. There was pieces of this all over
- 43:51Speaker 3: the roadway. And this was right during rush hours.
- 43:54Speaker 2: I was messed you right by six thirty five, I
- 43:56Speaker 2: think it actually hit the bridge, Yes, six thirty five
- 43:58Speaker 2: bridge it did. So I was going to they shut
- 44:00Speaker 2: all the lanes down. I'm trying to get downtown. I can't.
- 44:03Speaker 2: I was like, all right, so we go around and
- 44:04Speaker 2: then on the way back from dinner. There was about
- 44:06Speaker 2: fifty cop cars construction crews because I think they were
- 44:10Speaker 2: making sure the structure of the bridge was.
- 44:11Speaker 3: Okay, oh okay, yeah, that makes sense, you know.
- 44:15Speaker 2: But this thing was massive.
- 44:17Speaker 3: Yeah, huge, and there were just parts of it everywhere.
- 44:19Speaker 3: People didn't know what this thing was until you know,
- 44:22Speaker 3: a few hours later. But no injuries were reported, thankfully,
- 44:26Speaker 3: but just fell right off that truck and people commenting,
- 44:29Speaker 3: we're having a ball with this, so saying we're cooked,
- 44:32Speaker 3: toways cooked. Yeah.
- 44:34Speaker 2: And then there was a police chase. Yeah, yes, right
- 44:37Speaker 2: in the same area. Yeah.
- 44:38Speaker 4: They were going north on the toll way.
- 44:40Speaker 2: What did they do? Rob someone?
- 44:42Speaker 6: Yeah, there's some robbery suspects. And I was like, what
- 44:45Speaker 6: was going on?
- 44:46Speaker 5: They caught one guy up under the bridge, but the
- 44:50Speaker 5: other one took off and headed north and Addison Highway.
- 44:52Speaker 5: Patrol Dallas DBD chased them everywhere.
- 44:55Speaker 4: There's so many cops.
- 44:57Speaker 2: What's going on? I saw them go in the other
- 44:58Speaker 2: direction and by the way, I don't know where was from,
- 45:01Speaker 2: but I saw a cop car tesla undercover what yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 2: I mean out of nowhere, I see.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Like a tesla, the truck, the cyber truck, no.
- 45:11Speaker 4: An X, I think, oh was you know, like the suv?
- 45:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's zooming north on the Toillway with lights
- 45:16Speaker 2: and sirens but no logos.
- 45:18Speaker 4: Years I'm like, what is where are we at?
- 45:21Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 45:22Speaker 4: It was kind of awesome, weird day.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Up here in North Dallas yesterday. Guys. The Sheriff's department
- 45:28Speaker 3: handling the Nancy Guthrie sarch has been sued by three
- 45:30Speaker 3: Tucson residents who were wrongly identified as being connected to
- 45:34Speaker 3: the case. So you do you remember that first guy
- 45:37Speaker 3: that I guess was driving close to the area and
- 45:39Speaker 3: like a delivery van or something. He was arrested at
- 45:42Speaker 3: gunpoint and questioned for four hours and then release. Well,
- 45:45Speaker 3: he's suing for two point five million dollars. Then another
- 45:49Speaker 3: man who was handcuffed outside his home while they searched
- 45:52Speaker 3: the property, is suing for five hundred thousand dollars. And
- 45:55Speaker 3: then there's a woman suing for two hundred and fifty
- 45:57Speaker 3: thousand dollars for damages deputies executing a search warrant.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Yeah, so they're all saying they got detained I legally,
- 46:05Speaker 2: and they were pretty much kidnapped and question for no reason.
- 46:07Speaker 2: But I'm like, well, no, there was reason. Right, you
- 46:10Speaker 2: were in the area where there was a crime and
- 46:12Speaker 2: they're just questioning you about what happened.
- 46:15Speaker 3: Right, but weird, like group of random suspect non suspects
- 46:19Speaker 3: you know that are now fighting back.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Got two point five million dollars because you got question
- 46:25Speaker 2: for four hours.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Yeah that's a lot.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Seems excessive.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean maybe he gets half and he's happy.
- 46:30Speaker 4: You know, No, he would be well, he would be happy. Yeah,
- 46:33Speaker 4: taxpayers wouldn't.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Be Yeah, definitely not. Guys, this is really good news.
- 46:37Speaker 3: Alicia Silverstone is coming back as a share for a
- 46:40Speaker 3: Clueless series at Paramount Plus. The show will take place
- 46:44Speaker 3: at thirty years after the movie. So in the show,
- 46:48Speaker 3: Cher is now a successful business owner and mom. So
- 46:51Speaker 3: she thinks she has it all figured out until her
- 46:53Speaker 3: daughter starts high school, which has her feeling clueless. I
- 46:57Speaker 3: could not be more excited about this.
- 46:59Speaker 2: I didn't even know this was where this from icon
- 47:02Speaker 2: iconic line. I didn't know it's from that.
- 47:06Speaker 4: You did it?
- 47:07Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. Yeah, that's that's crazy. That movie just
- 47:12Speaker 3: changed my life, like just perspective. I just remember it
- 47:14Speaker 3: being so unique.
- 47:16Speaker 4: What year to come out?
- 47:17Speaker 3: I'd have to look that up. But I just remember
- 47:20Speaker 3: even the soundtrack too. When I heard that song Kids
- 47:23Speaker 3: in America or with the Kids in America, that one
- 47:26Speaker 3: was on the soundtrack, I thought, someday I'm gonna like
- 47:28Speaker 3: have a convertible and you did. Yeah, I did. Yeah,
- 47:31Speaker 3: listen to this song in it?
- 47:33Speaker 4: Did you play that song?
- 47:34Speaker 3: Absolutely?
- 47:34Speaker 4: Did you scream?
- 47:36Speaker 3: Pretty much?
- 47:37Speaker 6: Okay?
- 47:37Speaker 4: It came out in nineteen ninety five.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Ninety Okay, that was gonna be my guess. Yeah. The
- 47:43Speaker 3: original movie director and producer are part of this. They
- 47:46Speaker 3: haven't said what the title is going to be or
- 47:48Speaker 3: when it would come out, but this was a whole
- 47:50Speaker 3: thing in the works with Peacock last year, then it
- 47:53Speaker 3: got scrapped. They haven't said whether cast members like Paul Rudd,
- 47:57Speaker 3: Stacy Dash or Donald Faison would join this show, but
- 48:00Speaker 3: I'm crossing my fingers because I'd love to see them
- 48:01Speaker 3: all back.
- 48:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that'd be fun.
- 48:03Speaker 3: It would be on Canaslopez. Those are your Texas top stories?
- 48:06Speaker 4: Are you ready?
- 48:07Speaker 7: It's Billy they get in the morning, Misfortune nine.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Down, Let's start the wheel of misfortune. It's Billy the Kid,
- 48:18Speaker 2: Canislow Paz, producer poo. We did it all last week.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Now We're just gonna do it on Fridays because all
- 48:22Speaker 2: week I'd lose my mind.
- 48:23Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's enough. Once is enough.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm seeing a poo and a denim skirt last
- 48:27Speaker 2: week which went viral online. Don't remind me which, of
- 48:32Speaker 2: course it goes viral? Of course, of course, poo and
- 48:34Speaker 2: a Britney Spears crop top in some socks with sandals,
- 48:38Speaker 2: a Walmart fit. Walmart outfit was fire and people loved it.
- 48:43Speaker 2: I mean, I think it's close to a million views
- 48:44Speaker 2: at this point, is it really? I don't know, but
- 48:46Speaker 2: people now are going to stop poo in the streets. Hey,
- 48:48Speaker 2: aren't you the grown man?
- 48:51Speaker 3: Where's the scooter?
- 48:52Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 48:54Speaker 2: Yeah, wearing a Britney Spears early two thousands outfit, riding
- 48:57Speaker 2: a razor scooter all day? Some of the new things
- 49:00Speaker 2: on the wheel misfortune.
- 49:01Speaker 4: Are we ready to go over there?
- 49:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 49:02Speaker 3: What is it?
- 49:02Speaker 2: We have new things where kids floaties all day? The
- 49:08Speaker 2: face swim floaties. Oh god, which would make sense today
- 49:12Speaker 2: because we're going to NRH two to party with everyone
- 49:17Speaker 2: after the show from eleven to one, come on by,
- 49:19Speaker 2: love to see you. Yeah, but if it doesn't land
- 49:22Speaker 2: on today, even today, it's embarrassing because you're a grown person.
- 49:24Speaker 3: Well yeah makes sense, is right.
- 49:27Speaker 2: But if you land like another day, if this happens,
- 49:30Speaker 2: this is going to be awful. Imagine just a random
- 49:32Speaker 2: Monday and we have something else doing. We'reing floaties all day?
- 49:37Speaker 2: What else we have? Take shots is on the wheel?
- 49:39Speaker 2: Still candases pick same moo?
- 49:43Speaker 3: What is same move now?
- 49:44Speaker 2: Same moo is a challenge where if you lose, you
- 49:47Speaker 2: have to call somebody of our choice and see how
- 49:50Speaker 2: many times you can say moo without them really going
- 49:53Speaker 2: what what are you doing?
- 49:55Speaker 4: Right? We've done this before and it was so funny.
- 49:57Speaker 2: We had to call our boss and say it back
- 49:59Speaker 2: in the day and we're like, hey, we were just
- 50:01Speaker 2: seeing what you're up mew, and he was like, what
- 50:05Speaker 2: what you're up to? So it's funny. That'd be a
- 50:07Speaker 2: good one. There's also move over three left or three right,
- 50:12Speaker 2: so if you land on that, you have to move
- 50:13Speaker 2: left or right, so you have the choice of whatever's
- 50:15Speaker 2: three left or right.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Okay.
- 50:17Speaker 2: There's Instagram takeover, which we would control the loser's Instagram
- 50:21Speaker 2: all day. There's sing all day, so you could no
- 50:23Speaker 2: longer talk and you would have to sing everything you say.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Good yeah, exactly. Cannics would actually love that. There's face tats,
- 50:31Speaker 2: temporary face tats, there's wax a body part.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Who picks the body part?
- 50:37Speaker 4: Good question?
- 50:38Speaker 3: Okay, I think you get to pick it if you
- 50:40Speaker 3: land on.
- 50:40Speaker 2: No, if we would get to pick it, there's no way.
- 50:43Speaker 2: It'd have to be reasonable. There's no way we're gonna
- 50:46Speaker 2: let you pick your own body part.
- 50:48Speaker 6: Why not?
- 50:49Speaker 4: So let's get to it. Are you ready?
- 50:51Speaker 2: Created here we go. Let's do the Wheel of Misfortune, right,
- 50:56Speaker 2: thank you too. Junior of course, who does traffic for us.
- 50:59Speaker 2: He also is are our host for Willa Misfortune. He
- 51:01Speaker 2: does the trivia and he does a lot of research,
- 51:03Speaker 2: so thank you, and he makes it very fair.
- 51:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:07Speaker 2: So when you lose, you lose, you spin the wheel.
- 51:09Speaker 2: We don't complain about it. This is non biased. I
- 51:11Speaker 2: don't control the questions. I think we're ready when you are,
- 51:15Speaker 2: so we chime in with our name. Yes, last time
- 51:17Speaker 2: we played it was Pooh lost, but we've all lost.
- 51:21Speaker 6: Yeah you lost. Last time? You had to eat the salad.
- 51:25Speaker 4: No, I had to eat the Yeah I.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Did last Yeah? Yeah, I had to eat the bag
- 51:31Speaker 2: of tailor Farms lettuce and I did not get sick.
- 51:35Speaker 4: My stomach is built like different.
- 51:39Speaker 2: I think in radio we have survived so much leftover
- 51:42Speaker 2: food and just filth. My stomach was like parasite. So
- 51:50Speaker 2: they're sattin outs in the breakroom, lukewarm for hours.
- 51:56Speaker 4: So what's a parasite guidelines?
- 51:59Speaker 8: Here?
- 51:59Speaker 2: All right, here we go. Let's start the trivia. Question
- 52:02Speaker 2: number one five questions. Whoever gets the least amount of
- 52:05Speaker 2: questions loses.
- 52:06Speaker 4: Let's do it all right.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 52:09Speaker 11: What river forms most of the border between Texas and Mexico?

- 52:28Speaker 3: God?
- 52:30Speaker 2: Nine oh two? One oh man, you're.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Finish. I don't know.
- 52:37Speaker 2: No, you don't have to listen.
- 52:38Speaker 6: It seems unfair here.
- 52:43Speaker 11: But what if if I changed it and he got
- 52:45Speaker 11: it wrong because he didn't listens.
- 52:46Speaker 4: To the question.
- 52:46Speaker 3: That's that's why i'd ever jump. Okay, it's exactly.
- 52:50Speaker 4: You might be faking me out, man, I'm a trickster.
- 52:52Speaker 6: Yeah, that's fine, that's fine.
- 52:54Speaker 3: All right, here we go.
- 52:56Speaker 11: What is the largest organ in the human.
- 53:01Speaker 2: That was Billy?
- 53:02Speaker 4: Again?
- 53:02Speaker 11: Before I finished?
- 53:03Speaker 4: Skin?
- 53:04Speaker 11: Correct your skin I think you've got to sit out
- 53:08Speaker 11: for the rest of the questions.
- 53:10Speaker 4: No, I'm playing all right, No, I do have to
- 53:13Speaker 4: sit out, So now am I immune?
- 53:16Speaker 6: Kind of?

- 53:20Speaker 2: sit out.
- 53:21Speaker 11: Okay, all right, here we go. Which Texas born artist
- 53:28Speaker 11: is known as the Queen of That was poo Selena?
- 53:39Speaker 3: Question question one more question?
- 53:41Speaker 4: Question which you could tie.
- 53:43Speaker 2: There will be a tie breaker, but if Poo gets
- 53:46Speaker 2: this question, then you lose.
- 53:49Speaker 11: All right, here we go. What city is the TV
- 53:53Speaker 11: show The Office set in?
- 53:55Speaker 6: Poo? That was?
- 53:57Speaker 4: It was close, but that was Pooh?

- 55:24Speaker 2: I don't really love to see Cannas lose because she's
- 55:27Speaker 2: like our little sister, so we want to protect her.
- 55:29Speaker 4: But I also don't like to see myself lose, and
- 55:34Speaker 4: I usually always lose it.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Everything so so sad.
- 55:39Speaker 4: All right, So we play trivia.
- 55:40Speaker 2: Whoever loses the trivia has to spin the Wheel of misfortune,
- 55:42Speaker 2: just to heads up so you know what's on the wheel.
- 55:44Speaker 2: It could be everything from take shots for the rest

- 55:49Speaker 2: of talk. It could be Cannas's pick. Yeah is something
- 55:53Speaker 2: that she might like. It could be past the l

- 59:46Speaker 2: The rest of the time, I might even call your
- 59:47Speaker 2: son and Zoe and be like, hey, what do you
- 59:49Speaker 2: want to post buddy?
- 59:49Speaker 3: Yeah, you would love that.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe I'll involve him. Maybe I'll involve Eric. This
- 59:53Speaker 2: is gonna be fun. Make sure you follow her for
- 59:57Speaker 2: the adventure at Cannis On Air at Cannis on Yes.
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: These tests top stories on the tents with Billy the
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: Kid in the.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Morning only on the new mixed one or two point nine.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: All right, Candi, Slowpez, what's up well you?
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Plano City Council just approved a new one point four
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: million dollar police drone program, so these will be different
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: than the ones they're using now. They will launch from
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: the tops of city buildings and be operated by trained
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: civilian staff, who will then communicate with dispatchers. The goal
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: here is to help first responders get to emergencies faster
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: and improve overall situational awareness. There are some concerns from residents, though,
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: of course, about privacy, who are asking how this footage
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: will be used. They're saying the cameras won't even turn
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: on until they get to the scene. But it's hard
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: to think that that's the case when there's just cameras
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: you know, you know, at.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: What point is there're going to be so much drone
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: traffic in the air where it's going to be an issue, right, Yeah,
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: you got all these drone deliveries store Dash, you got Walmart,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: you got this drone, that drone before you know, and
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: it's just.
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: Going to be like ir Yeah.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: People who live near these quote unquote drone highway saying
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: I can hear this inside my house. I can hear
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: them going by.
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: We have so many weird things. We got to face
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: a drone highways.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: Super weird, super weird. Yeah, they're saying. Also, these would
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: eventually be used to make deliveries of things like narcan
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: and EpiPens or you know, things emergency services need. So
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: we'll see how this plays out. I'll keep you posted though, guys.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: The State Fair of Texas was just named number six
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: and Yelp's top a state fair of festival foods in
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: the US. I feel like that's not accurate.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: How is in number six we have the best state
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: fair in the world.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: Yeah, one hundred percent.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: And it's down the best food, the best mascot, I
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: guess you could say.
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, do other state fairs have like a
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: mascot and a guy, and like if people just you know,
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: live for this person to show up. I know.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: The only other fair that I think is legendary is
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: I know the Minnesota State Fair, Okay is a big one. Yeah,
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: but nothing's bigger than ours. No, And what's number one
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: on the list.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: I have to pull it up for you. I got
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: so mad, I just.
- 1:01:57Speaker 11: Threw it all.
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: It doesn't even matter.
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: I know. It is a big day though for the fair.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: Two guys, because all of the stuffed animals for the
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: games on the midway get delivered today.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Cool.
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: It makes me so happy. The fair opens September twenty
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: fifth in theaters today. Are you excited about this Billy
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: spider Man brand new day?
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: It's predicted to earn well over two hundred million dollars
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: this weekend. It brought in fifty million dollars last night
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: at previews, which is the best Thursday preview release post
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: Pandemic and the third biggest in Hollywood history. But it's
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: getting great reviews.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: I've never seen one Spider Man.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: I cannot believe that, not even the first one.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: I think I saw bits and pieces of it. You know,
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: I am with movies, but I do want to see.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: That's my I'm challenging myself to see iconic movies.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: Okay, last night people gave it a ninety eight percent
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: positive score, so it's gonna be huge for sure. And
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: then real quick, guys, this has given me the agg
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: Kesha is asking her fans to send her their teeth again,
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: so she gave out her po bot. Right again, she
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: gave out her po box for this. Apparently this hobby
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: started in twenty eleven after a fan offered their child's
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: a lost tooth, and then she turned it into jewelry.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: So she's making necklaces, earrings, a belt and then the
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: rest I heard she just puts in a jar or
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: jars and stores them around her house.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: Give me a tooth or sending to Kesha?
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Right, isn't that weird?
- 1:03:17Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: That's really weird, But it's also kind of a brilliant
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: way to get back into the news. Yeah, and to
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: talk about what you're doing, because it's so bizarre that
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: people are going to talk about it. Then they're going
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: to talk about your music. And I like Kasha. Yeah,
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: but that's just a strange hobby.
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: I'm not going to send her my kids see for sure.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: I definitely don't want a belt made of no making.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: I don't want to ever see anyone else's human teeth.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: No, no, definitely no. All right, guys, I'm Kanda Slopez.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: Those are your Texas Top Stories. This is Dirty Little Secret.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: Mix one oh two point nine plus one thousand dollars
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: coming up next.
- 1:03:51Speaker 4: Are you ready Dirty Little Secret?
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: It's time to confess if you got one, it doesn't
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: he mat if we're doing Dirty Little Secret and not
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: just reach out eight three three seven eight seven one
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: nine or reach out to me Candace at candas on Air,
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: which we actually are taking over her Instagram for the
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: days you'll finish.
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: My work stuff. So I'm gonna pass it back to you.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Can you can do your your borderline break in the bag.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: Well, I no, it's just bad timing. I've done. I
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: don't need my phone anymore today.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: What did you do think?
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: I just had to post the Ranger sweet giveaway? Okay,
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: all right, yeah, it's a mixed one or two NINEFM.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: I'm done at candisan Air, taking it over at candisan Air,
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: don't forget follow her.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: We're taking this over.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: I'm about to I'm about to take Pooh for a
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: little photo shoot down the hall. Yeah, so that's going on.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: You're Oh, it's gonna be a whole thing. So if
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: you have a secret, let us know. You can hit
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: us up, call us whatever you want to do. You
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: have one? What's up?
- 1:04:39Speaker 10: Okay?
- 1:04:39Speaker 9: I need don't to tell me if I've just lost
- 1:04:41Speaker 9: my mind or what. So my twenty year high school
- 1:04:45Speaker 9: reunion is this fall, boo.
- 1:04:47Speaker 8: And.
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: I am seriously considering hiring a hot make sure, I'll
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: want to make it very clear, very hot male escort to.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: Be my date.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: What no, you are thinking about Okay, oh, I know
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: you're thinking about hiring a hot male escort to be
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: your date for your twenty year high school reunion.
- 1:05:12Speaker 10: Yes, now, I know this sounds ridiculous. Tear me out.
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: I was not a popular girl in high school. I
- 1:05:20Speaker 9: was much heavier than I was, very shy, very nerdy,
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: and like I basically hid for all four years and
- 1:05:29Speaker 9: I did not go to any other reunion because I
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: just did not want to have to like relive any
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: of the garbage that was that experience. Right, But like,
- 1:05:39Speaker 9: my life is very different now that I'm a full
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: grown adult.
- 1:05:44Speaker 10: And now I look a lot different.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: I lost like eight.
- 1:05:50Speaker 10: Pounds I had changed my teeth. I feel a lot
- 1:05:57Speaker 10: more confident in general.
- 1:05:59Speaker 9: I'm very excited because I have a really great career.
- 1:06:03Speaker 9: I you know, I provide for myself and my entire
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: life is something that I'm just very proud of.
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: That's you had a glow up. You had a glow up.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 1:06:13Speaker 10: I had a serious glow up. Yeah. The twenty years
- 1:06:17Speaker 10: I got pretty and anyway, So like the thing that though,
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: is that, like you.
- 1:06:24Speaker 9: Know, like every good round com I don't have like
- 1:06:26Speaker 9: the guy at the end of the story, and you.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: Want the perfect picture.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: You want to show up to the reunion going look
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: at me, I'm hot, I got a great job, I
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: got a hot dude. Life is perfect.
- 1:06:39Speaker 10: Yeah, legit, because you nailed it.
- 1:06:41Speaker 9: Like I know, so many of those girls that I
- 1:06:43Speaker 9: went to school with, like they they did not do
- 1:06:47Speaker 9: the you know, college career path, and they married and
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: they have these beautiful families and beautiful children, and they're
- 1:06:55Speaker 9: going to be there looking like they stepped directly out
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: of an Instagram post.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: Do you know what I'm saying?
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: Right? Is this the worst idea ever? I don't think
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: it's the worst idea ever.
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: No, but their lives aren't also exactly what they look
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: like on Instagram. No, No, nobody's ever exactly as they appear.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: No, But I don't know if that matters. I mean really,
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: because if you're going to the reunion and and I
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: get why you would want to flex on everyone, especially
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: if you, you know, back in the day you were
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: considered to be quote unquote a nerd or whatever.
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: And if it makes you feel better, I say, who cares?
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: I mean, really, it's kind of a fun like social experiment.
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: Just like it's not like if you were going to
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: see these people all the time that it'll be like,
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: don't get yourself into a lie that you can't really
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: live with. But if you're gonna see them, one want
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: and done have some fun, right.
- 1:07:43Speaker 9: I mean, that's what I'm thinking, Like, and even if
- 1:07:46Speaker 9: like I also was just thinking like how fun would
- 1:07:48Speaker 9: it be to come up with like the backstory of
- 1:07:49Speaker 9: like how we met, you know what I mean, Like
- 1:07:51Speaker 9: we could have this like funny little story and it
- 1:07:53Speaker 9: could be so The other thing is it could also
- 1:07:55Speaker 9: just be like the dumbest thing, and it could be
- 1:07:58Speaker 9: like so romy and Michelle, where I get so found out.
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: That's my only concern.
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: My only concern is for some and this is the
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: kind of thing that would happen to me for some
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: odd weird, crazy reason.
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: They're like, wait, I hired that guy before an work.
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: Yeah that's great.
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I say it's fun. But at the
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: end of the day, would I do it? Probably not.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: I say, you go in there on it. Yeah, Like
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: you go in there and you first of all, I'm
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: sure you can get an attractive man who you would
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: be proud of without paying them.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: One.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Two, you sound fun, you know, you sound like you're
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: a good time and why not. And also just be
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: proud of being you. You had a glower. It almost
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: might be a bigger flex in twenty twenty six to
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: say I'm having a good time.
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: Look at me.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: I'm hot, I'm successful, and I don't need a man.
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: Right, all those posts are going around like all my
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: friends are having babies and getting married and I'm out
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: here booking trips or whatever.
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: Yeah, you're catching flights, not feelings.
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: You know, not the worst thing in the world.
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: But do whatever you want. Listen.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: The only thing I would say, absolutely, whatever you do,
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: tell us so we can get an update on it.
- 1:09:00Speaker 10: Totally. I can't wait to tell you how it goes.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Everybody, all right, well, let us know if you do
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: or not, and have fun with it and enjoy yourself. Really,
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: it's like it should be a matter of when you're
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: living your best life. You don't have to flex that
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: you're living your best life. People will just feel that energy. Yeah,
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: you know, so that's what you should do.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: That's true too.
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: I love it, Thank you so much.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: Yeah, we're here for the worst advice ever. Oh we
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: got no, that's good advice, right yeah.
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: Maybe. Oh, we're about to get out of here.

- 1:09:44Speaker 2: say hi. We'll be in a little I don't know,
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: bungalow hanging out, just waiting to talk and party. And
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: we're taking over Candas's Instagram and Poo's wearing a speedout.
- 1:09:51Speaker 4: It's gonna be a great goal. Hey what Oh, oh
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: you're not.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: I didn't know about that.

- 1:09:57Speaker 2: the here. Yeah, he likes that to be be a
