- 1:42Speaker 2: back on the bus, get myself some water. You say
- 1:44Speaker 2: something about eighteen possible wages of snow.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah so so per our sources. The weather App's
- 1:50Speaker 5: telling us fifteen to eighteen, per our sources. Weather apps
- 1:54Speaker 5: telling us fifteen to eighteen, and the Weather channel is
- 1:57Speaker 5: saying five.
- 1:58Speaker 2: To eight regardless, not good.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Regardless. We're getting snow, and dude, it snows are good.
- 2:03Speaker 5: You get a snow day, that's Arizona, Kevin's Natural foods,
- 2:08Speaker 5: clean takes. Snow days are fun.
- 2:10Speaker 2: No snow days. You're right, snow day is fun. Having
- 2:13Speaker 2: a snow day, snowmen, sleds, maybe some ice skating going
- 2:18Speaker 2: on outside, all fun stuff, all fun stuff. The guys,
- 2:22Speaker 2: this is that's people do in real snow places, snowing
- 2:26Speaker 2: or skating.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Snowing.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, like multiple days for it to freeze over, like
- 2:32Speaker 2: you have to. I believe it's weeks, like three weeks
- 2:34Speaker 2: of below freezing. Yeah, you have to that, and you
- 2:37Speaker 2: have somebody walk on it. I'm not going to be
- 2:38Speaker 2: the guy who walks on it. But anyway, snow day
- 2:42Speaker 2: is fun. After day, we're done shut it down. Oh
- 2:47Speaker 2: no ah, this is a clean take right here.
- 2:50Speaker 5: That's not a clean Arizona's the best.
- 2:52Speaker 2: That's a clean take. That's a clean take. You don't
- 2:56Speaker 2: like that take.
- 2:57Speaker 1: No, no.
- 2:57Speaker 5: I a lot a lot of good states out there,
- 3:00Speaker 5: a lot of good steaks, A lot of good steaks,
- 3:03Speaker 5: A lot of good steaks.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Regardless. Snow days are fun, but not I don't want
- 3:10Speaker 2: it more than a day. Oh no, nothing, no nothing.
- 3:17Speaker 5: I hate that we're doing.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Got a clean take to you. You don't what they take.
- 3:21Speaker 5: We're due for good snow when you have, we're do
- 3:23Speaker 5: for nothing.
- 3:26Speaker 6: You got the boots at the door, all the kids snow.
- 3:29Speaker 6: I was just sitting there drying, and you're hoping it's
- 3:30Speaker 6: dry because you know tomorrow morning the kids are gonna
- 3:32Speaker 6: want to rip out in the snow again.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Yeah, there's nothing.
- 3:36Speaker 2: It's just view sounds amazing. Now, let's go three weeks
- 3:41Speaker 2: of having snow on the ground. It's freezing outside, its frigid.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Every day.
- 3:44Speaker 2: You get a bundle these little guys up every day
- 3:46Speaker 2: and they're not thinking themselves. My five year old daughter
- 3:49Speaker 2: goes outside and addressing like, honey, it's January. You can't
- 3:53Speaker 2: do that. He says, yes, I can tell who you can,
- 3:56Speaker 2: but you're gonna get sick. And then when we're shoes
- 3:59Speaker 2: I have, I have feral kids. They just want to
- 4:03Speaker 2: be outside and rip around the mud and stuff like that,
- 4:06Speaker 2: and it's like I have to bundle you up out it.
- 4:07Speaker 5: But the shoes.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Don't have to have to fight about the shoes and
- 4:09Speaker 2: put the pants on. But when need layers in the pants,
- 4:11Speaker 2: we put the stalkings on, then the pants and then
- 4:13Speaker 2: those little buttons. That's a bit of a pain in
- 4:15Speaker 2: the ass too.
- 4:16Speaker 7: So you just don't like winter. You It sound like
- 4:18Speaker 7: you don't like snow because you have to do that
- 4:21Speaker 7: regardless of January.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I don't mind. Like this weekend when it was twenty
- 4:25Speaker 2: degrees but the sun was out cool. I can handle
- 4:28Speaker 2: that winter. I'm all about that.
- 4:29Speaker 7: But I'm saying, you sulasses on in the.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Car during wintertime, that's a winner to me. I like that.
- 4:35Speaker 2: But having snow. Snow's good for Christmas, good chweek is
- 4:40Speaker 2: Jack eloquently put it. A few weeks ago. New Year's Soon,
- 4:44Speaker 2: New Year's hits. We're all in depression mode. It's hey,
- 4:47Speaker 2: we're sad till spring.
- 4:49Speaker 7: You know what makes you not depressed snow for that day.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You're absolutely right.
- 4:54Speaker 7: I will be having a little pep in my step
- 4:56Speaker 7: anytime snow.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Right, it'll be fun for that day. Hey guys, let's
- 4:58Speaker 2: go to the city the whole time. After two weeks,
- 5:06Speaker 2: you get.
- 5:06Speaker 5: The kiddos all bundled up, and then you're building that
- 5:08Speaker 5: snow man, or you're going down that hill on a sleigh.
- 5:11Speaker 7: Or you're just you go outside and like, you know what,
- 5:15Speaker 7: let's just get let's just cause a rast, get a snowball,
- 5:18Speaker 7: just chuck it at somebody.
- 5:20Speaker 5: And plans canceled like anything. You think you might not
- 5:25Speaker 5: be wanting to go to snow just made that decision
- 5:27Speaker 5: for you.
- 5:29Speaker 2: I can see a pro in that. Yeah, I can
- 5:31Speaker 2: see a pro in that. Every winter it's the same
- 5:34Speaker 2: thing everyone, It's the same thing. I get up in
- 5:36Speaker 2: the morning, there's snow on the ground. Town's like you
- 5:37Speaker 2: shure you go to tesdays, baby, Yeah, we have the bus.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I'm going, but it's snowing outside. I'm going and then
- 5:43Speaker 2: there's nobody on the road. It's more dangerous can't drive
- 5:46Speaker 2: as fast.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Yeah, but there's also that like.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Just don't do well in the snow. I put some
- 5:51Speaker 2: sandbags on the back of that thing.
- 5:53Speaker 5: There's also that focus and challenge going on and being
- 5:55Speaker 5: careful and looking at all the snow and let me go,
- 5:58Speaker 5: let me go ahead and turn on this.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Let me go ahead and turn on this road. Let
- 6:02Speaker 2: me go and do my exact routine I do every
- 6:04Speaker 2: single day, but with more caution.
- 6:06Speaker 5: I don't know, you're being mean right now. Not not
- 6:08Speaker 5: being mean.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I'm just I'm selling my clean take. I had a
- 6:13Speaker 2: clean take. You're trying to sell me on the clean
- 6:17Speaker 2: take on My take's not clean, but I think it's clean.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Here's a pessimistic take.
- 6:21Speaker 2: It might be pet peeve, pet peeve, snow snow more
- 6:28Speaker 2: than one day. Yeah, snow out of the calendar. I
- 6:31Speaker 2: just told you guys, Gooch week and Christmas out of
- 6:34Speaker 2: that snow can kick rocks, buddy.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That's that's an Arizona kid.
- 6:41Speaker 5: Yeah, Arizona, I do get it.
- 6:44Speaker 2: I know there's one individual on this buss has been
- 6:46Speaker 2: pretty quiet because they agree with me. No, I just
- 6:49Speaker 2: think it's ain't talk. It's just man, just a bad take.
- 6:55Speaker 8: Everyone's happier when it snows. Everybody, kids, adults.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Everybody watch is just coming? Oh Taylor, come on.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Do you guys want to go have a snow day?
- 7:06Speaker 2: Or is it summertime? Shorts, barbecue pool.
- 7:11Speaker 5: That's not what we're doing. We know a big snow's coming.
- 7:15Speaker 5: We're accepting that a big snow's coming, and we're being
- 7:17Speaker 5: optimistic about the big snow coming. Like, yeah, if I
- 7:21Speaker 5: could be on a beach and get some sunshine, like, yeah,
- 7:23Speaker 5: it's a great day.
- 7:24Speaker 2: What's your beach guy? Now?
- 7:25Speaker 5: Now, I'm just saying I can be older guys.
- 7:29Speaker 3: JP, how do you feel I do understand what you're saying.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I would just extend my day, like I enjoy more
- 7:35Speaker 3: than one snow day.
- 7:37Speaker 5: Maybe give me three.
- 7:38Speaker 2: To five done, I'll sign off on that it's clean.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Take yeah, three to five.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Other than that, it's perfectly fine. If I could just
- 7:44Speaker 3: travel to snow, I don't need it to come to
- 7:46Speaker 3: be that often, exactly three to five days, get a
- 7:49Speaker 3: lot of sledding.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Yeah, it's fine here.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Snow's like once once a year, like a big snow here,
- 7:56Speaker 3: I feel like, which I can handle. Yeah, I love
- 7:58Speaker 3: sledding almost as much as any buddy, But I am
- 8:01Speaker 3: with you three.
- 8:02Speaker 1: To five days.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll take three to five days.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I'll up on that FID day.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Se who's still outside snow can.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Definitely be outside, especially when it melts and it's all gone,
- 8:12Speaker 5: and there's just like this transition that happens and getting
- 8:14Speaker 5: like just super dirty to just getting everything kind of
- 8:16Speaker 5: cleaned up, but just knowing a good snow is coming.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Do for good snow. We're due for a good snow.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Soup tastes different.
- 8:28Speaker 2: I'm over here hearing guys get excited about soup.
- 8:33Speaker 5: You don't like soup?
- 8:34Speaker 2: Three man?
- 8:35Speaker 5: Everybody coming Taylor?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Come on, dude, forbid like soup either?
- 8:41Speaker 2: I like soup. I like super When do you go?
- 8:45Speaker 5: The soup not hit different on a cold day with snow.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Soup's great porridge? Whatever, dude, five days some sort of broth.
- 8:52Speaker 2: I'm with it.
- 8:53Speaker 5: It's good.
- 8:53Speaker 2: It's the list, especially in a cold day. It's nice
- 8:55Speaker 2: but different.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Come on, Pumpkin spot is pompkin stuff hits different when
- 9:02Speaker 5: it's Halloween time?
- 9:03Speaker 2: Does it does? Totally different?
- 9:06Speaker 5: Picture of Taylor sitting across from you and being like, listen,
- 9:08Speaker 5: you guys, talk up this stuff. That hits different because
- 9:10Speaker 5: of the Halloween time we've been Oh come on.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I'm with that, But that person be wrong.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Is uh, I'm over here thinking this talking about soup
- 9:18Speaker 2: right now?
- 9:18Speaker 7: Is is Taylor being in a bit of an energy
- 9:21Speaker 7: vampire right now?
- 9:22Speaker 5: He kind of is being an energy vampire?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Man.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I guess I guess my truth isn't good enough for
- 9:28Speaker 2: you guys. Huh. I have a little bit of I
- 9:31Speaker 2: walk into a save space, I think where I can
- 9:34Speaker 2: just talk to my boys. This is how I feel.
- 9:37Speaker 5: He doesn't have to like eat thank you? JP.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Does that make me an energy vampire because I'm like,
- 9:41Speaker 2: I'm not too excited about eighteen inches of snow. I'm
- 9:45Speaker 2: a snow vampire, dude. I'll be out there with a
- 9:48Speaker 2: hair dryer. I'm putting down the plastic tarps like Jack's dad.
- 9:53Speaker 6: Hey, speaking of soup, my wife and I we have
- 9:56Speaker 6: a snow day soup that we always used to make
- 9:58Speaker 6: in Pennsylvania every time we had a snowday.
- 9:59Speaker 5: So any of the recipe, oh yeah, and make sure
- 10:02Speaker 5: like put it, put it. Put it on the video too,
- 10:05Speaker 5: so everybody can kind of see the super bress.
- 10:07Speaker 6: Snow day soup and then you have you in and
- 10:09Speaker 6: out of the snow, and then you got food ready
- 10:11Speaker 6: every time you come in.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Warm soup. Great, great recipe. Soup on a snow day.
- 10:17Speaker 5: What are you dipping in that snow day super recipe?
- 10:19Speaker 5: The clump French bread?
- 10:21Speaker 2: Probably well yeah, oh yeah, oh, let's go okay, I
- 10:24Speaker 2: kind of I'm getting on that bag gets hit different,
- 10:27Speaker 2: now different, something like a nice slice of bread, freshly toasted,
- 10:32Speaker 2: some like some seasoned butter.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Yeah, there we go.
- 10:37Speaker 2: That's hitting. You know when that hits. Any day of
- 10:40Speaker 2: the year, that's when that ship hits. Soup hits too,
- 10:43Speaker 2: when the weather kind of breaks a little bit. I
- 10:45Speaker 2: like a little soup in my Spectober. I like that.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I like in my December. I like December fifteenth soup.
- 10:51Speaker 2: I love that.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I think we should bring back soup in thermoss. I
- 10:56Speaker 3: feel like that's good, like that just kind of carrying
- 10:58Speaker 3: it around, I say, bring it back. I've never actually
- 11:00Speaker 3: done that. I just see the movies like Man with
- 11:04Speaker 3: the with.
- 11:04Speaker 2: The cup that unscrews and you got it. It's like man,
- 11:07Speaker 2: just sip from the bottle and you know what, I'll
- 11:11Speaker 2: go even farther on the snow December first to jan one,
- 11:15Speaker 2: I can do I can do snow. I can do snow.
- 11:17Speaker 2: But now we're in the middle of January, like we're
- 11:21Speaker 2: all thinking about the spring right now.
- 11:22Speaker 5: But so that means too that the weather took something
- 11:24Speaker 5: from us that we wanted, that we needed, that we crave, crave.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I want to need A crave was not a part
- 11:30Speaker 2: of what I was like, Oh, that's a good that's
- 11:33Speaker 2: a good spot to have snow pickles on a sandwich.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I'll take them or leave it if it comes in
- 11:37Speaker 2: that time. But we get to mid jan it's like,
- 11:40Speaker 2: what are y'all doing, They're piling on three to five.
- 11:44Speaker 2: I'll take that. So whatever, when I get back from
- 11:46Speaker 2: Vegas on Sunday, I'll land to a snow ridden experience.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Kind of would be a dub, wouldn't it.
- 11:54Speaker 8: Jack, No, I want to be here for that snow
- 11:57Speaker 8: and kind of off what you're saying, not getting the
- 12:00Speaker 8: snow from December first to jam one, Like, well, it's
- 12:03Speaker 8: like you're missing something and we're going to get cold
- 12:05Speaker 8: weather for the next month or you know, month and
- 12:07Speaker 8: a half. It's nice to catch a snow day to
- 12:10Speaker 8: remind you why the cold weather can provide just a
- 12:12Speaker 8: little bit of sunshine.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know when the cold weather can provide sunshine,
- 12:19Speaker 2: when the sun comes out during cold weather.
- 12:21Speaker 8: Well, then why do you live in Nashville?
- 12:25Speaker 2: I know, Well we're here, then, I'm sure the best
- 12:29Speaker 2: of it. Let's make the best of it, man, make
- 12:31Speaker 2: the best of it.
- 12:32Speaker 3: And there's one thing when you're.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Ever come and say, oh, come on, make the best
- 12:37Speaker 5: of it.
- 12:37Speaker 8: Even if you don't like the look on your kids'
- 12:40Speaker 8: faces when they wake up to it.
- 12:42Speaker 2: I'm so excited for that.
- 12:43Speaker 8: That's gonna be all time for you.
- 12:44Speaker 2: I'm so excited for my kids. Man, they're gonna have
- 12:47Speaker 2: a great time. Dad, come out and play. No, no,
- 12:53Speaker 2: we can't. I'll just sit there with my fucking soup.
- 12:57Speaker 2: That's hitting different from the window. This in my thermos.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Be like, I guess I'm checking all my boxes right now.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Get dad, look at this. That's great, honey, that's awesome.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Look and I are going that is it? Fires hit
- 13:12Speaker 2: different fires? Different fires hit different now. Yes, yes, yes,
- 13:22Speaker 2: I might even put on some Christmas music during it.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Pretend like I might go buy another tree, I might
- 13:29Speaker 2: redo Christmas. I gotta bring some sort of positivity. But yeah, man,
- 13:34Speaker 2: I'll tell you this. I'm out on snow AnyWho onwards
- 13:40Speaker 2: this weekend though UFC Patty Pimlet, patdy Plet UFC on
- 13:45Speaker 2: Paramount Plus for the first time ever. It's exciting. New Year,
- 13:50Speaker 2: New opportunities. Will be gambling again. There's also I think
- 13:54Speaker 2: it's Aufa Coufa boxing something like that. They have like
- 13:58Speaker 2: a boxing event Friday night. We will also be at
- 14:01Speaker 2: and I have a special announcement for this next Vegas
- 14:03Speaker 2: gambling trip that's coming up. I believe it's not one
- 14:05Speaker 2: hundred percent yet, but I'm enough percentage where I wanting
- 14:07Speaker 2: to lean on the fact that it's going to happen.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Dave Lawana is coming, Carol Awa is coming to Vegas.
- 14:21Speaker 2: He was at my house last night and I'm walking around.
- 14:23Speaker 2: We're like, we're winter rizing the property, getting all the
- 14:26Speaker 2: things on the spouts and stuff like that. And Dave's
- 14:28Speaker 2: trying his best to belittle me with his handyman work. Taylor,
- 14:32Speaker 2: when you come out here, do you work with that?
- 14:33Speaker 2: I'm like, they No, I fucking don't. I don't do this.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I'm here, I'm putting the thing on like I'm supposed to.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I'm a domesticated cat. I don't know how to do
- 14:40Speaker 2: these things. And he's like, well, don't you want to learn? No, No,
- 14:44Speaker 2: I don't want to learn. I enjoy exactly where I'm
- 14:47Speaker 2: at in life right now, growth in other categories. But anyway,
- 14:50Speaker 2: Dave's coming. It's gonna be a great time. I can't
- 14:51Speaker 2: wait to have them. I can't wait to have them.
- 14:54Speaker 2: The day's gonna have his own, you know, Dave out
- 14:56Speaker 2: there probably tell you mean macking up some ladies. He
- 15:01Speaker 2: was over at my house yesterday asking about tailor's friend.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Aren't Dave, what are we doing?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, oh Dave. Dave's gonna be out there, man.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Dave's also learned. Dave's also learned AI. He just kind
- 15:16Speaker 2: of sends me AI photos of himself and he's like,
- 15:20Speaker 2: did a photo shoot the other day and they're like
- 15:21Speaker 2: showing him Michael Harley like that, Dave. I don't know
- 15:25Speaker 2: much about technology, but I know for a fact that's
- 15:27Speaker 2: not that's not you, So I know this is me.
- 15:29Speaker 2: I also, and it's like him on like by on,
- 15:31Speaker 2: like a helicopter, pat on, a skyscreper, Like, oh, Dave,
- 15:33Speaker 2: when were you in New York?
- 15:35Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:35Speaker 2: Yeah, there is that, you know, it's on his tender profile.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I feel like.
- 15:40Speaker 5: Parents, the older parents or grandparents like they love that
- 15:43Speaker 5: vibe too. It's like whenever, like the big emojis, they
- 15:45Speaker 5: figured out that they could send those to you. Yeah,
- 15:47Speaker 5: when there's big characters like now the new wave might
- 15:51Speaker 5: be a couple photos might put themselves in these AI photos. Man,
- 15:56Speaker 5: that'll be fun though, little father son action.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Little father son action. He wants that. He was like,
- 16:01Speaker 2: you know, bucket list to go to UFC event, would
- 16:03Speaker 2: love to gamble with you all those things, and he's
- 16:04Speaker 2: kind of hee. He's done that throughout the course of
- 16:07Speaker 2: twenty five.
- 16:08Speaker 5: Dropping little eggs, drop little hand to the.
- 16:09Speaker 2: Point I'm like, do you want to come to Vegas?
- 16:11Speaker 2: And he's like, oh, I I mean I'd love to.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I'm like, if you want to come to dude, you're
- 16:16Speaker 2: more than welcome to come on to Vegas. We'll have
- 16:18Speaker 2: a good weekend. We have a good crew there. But
- 16:21Speaker 2: I already know, I already know I'm gonna have a
- 16:25Speaker 2: my dad is bragging on his son moment where I'm
- 16:28Speaker 2: like having like that, can you stop? And I'm sure
- 16:32Speaker 2: everybody else is like this is totally fine. Like this
- 16:34Speaker 2: is just a father bragging on a son. But in
- 16:36Speaker 2: my brain, I'm gonna have a heart. I have to, like,
- 16:38Speaker 2: I have to see it, understand it's happening, and then
- 16:41Speaker 2: just fall back and allow him to keep talking to
- 16:43Speaker 2: whatever individual is having to suffer through that fifteen minutes.
- 16:47Speaker 2: That's that's what I'm going. Come on, Dad, I tell
- 16:50Speaker 2: this story all the time. Yeah. Oh yeah, hey they are.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Here's one.
- 16:55Speaker 5: There's one.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Yeah, there's Dave on a motorcycle. Send me that, all right, Dave.
- 17:01Speaker 5: Oh you know he's gonna get them dating profiles going.
- 17:06Speaker 2: George Washington, him in a chair, just in a suit.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Look he met George Washington.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Holy shit, I mean Dave. Dave got them arms though,
- 17:15Speaker 2: Day's got them biceps. Try steps four steps are steps,
- 17:18Speaker 2: He's got it all. He's body and George there, Yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 2: George couldn't fucking handle Dave back in the day. There
- 17:25Speaker 2: In no way did you mention if Dave was on
- 17:28Speaker 2: the British side we might have English accents? Right, they've
- 17:33Speaker 2: had that now. They got him done. At the knees.
- 17:35Speaker 2: You got shaking knees like a son and stuff. I
- 17:37Speaker 2: inherited the shaking knees.
- 17:39Speaker 5: How are you guys feeling about the Patty pimblet Justin Gaechee?
- 17:43Speaker 2: All right, end up this episode to bring you Paramount Plus.

- 18:09Speaker 2: and a stand up war filled with high level striking.

- 18:41Speaker 2: com slash UFC to get started.
- 18:45Speaker 5: Jp our UFC Correspondent.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Seems like it's the Year of Patti pimblet. It's for
- 18:51Speaker 3: the Interim Championship belt. I believe he's gonna get it,
- 18:55Speaker 3: which is sad because Justin Gaechee legend of the game,
- 18:57Speaker 3: has has given us so many great moments throughout his
- 19:00Speaker 3: UFC career, and he could very well, just like any
- 19:04Speaker 3: UFC fight, could come out of there with a W.
- 19:06Speaker 3: But watching Patty versus Mike last time, it seems like
- 19:09Speaker 3: Patti is a different kind of locked in right now. Yeah,
- 19:12Speaker 3: And I'm excited because I'm also excited. Sean O'Malley is
- 19:15Speaker 3: on that card too. He's fighting Songya Dong and Taylor
- 19:18Speaker 3: was telling me about the podcast he was doing, talking about, man,
- 19:22Speaker 3: how far have I fallen? I'm not even the comane
- 19:25Speaker 3: all this stuff, and I think he's just setting it
- 19:27Speaker 3: up perfectly for him to knock Songy Dong out and
- 19:30Speaker 3: kind of give back to that.
- 19:32Speaker 1: That's sugar.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I feel like it's gonna be a good week It's
- 19:34Speaker 2: gonna be a good weekend for fan favorites. Fan favorites
- 19:37Speaker 2: to catch a dob. I think Patty's hitting his stride
- 19:40Speaker 2: after we did our Boy. That's heartbreaking, but he's kind
- 19:42Speaker 2: of just been doing his thing and then Geechee. As
- 19:45Speaker 2: much as everybody loves Geeche, he's like on the tail end.
- 19:47Speaker 2: This is a great opportunity for Patty to take advantage
- 19:49Speaker 2: of that. And then yeah, I think Sean O'Malley, after
- 19:52Speaker 2: he rode so high like Icarus and has kind of
- 19:55Speaker 2: fallen a little bit, he's addressed it. He talks about
- 19:57Speaker 2: he talks down about himself, a little self deprecating humor
- 20:00Speaker 2: in this pot about how much he just sucks now.
- 20:02Speaker 2: And I think that's the perfect were talking about CJ
- 20:04Speaker 2: Stroud this offseason type mentality, you know. Yeah, he's about
- 20:07Speaker 2: the body bag the world. So that's I'm excited to
- 20:11Speaker 2: go see that.
- 20:12Speaker 5: I'll get to watch my new little theater room.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Are you fully moved in?
- 20:17Speaker 5: We will be this week. We will be this week.
- 20:21Speaker 5: Send a snow day, I know, in a snow day.
- 20:23Speaker 5: But we got a nice little hill in the front yard.
- 20:25Speaker 5: The kids are gonna love Daddy. Go down on the
- 20:27Speaker 5: sled a little bit.
- 20:29Speaker 2: A hill in the front yard.
- 20:30Speaker 5: Yeah, we got a little hill. Got a little hill
- 20:33Speaker 5: in the front yard. It's nice. I'm telling you, I'll
- 20:36Speaker 5: send you a photo.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Send me a photo. I've asked Will multiple times. Was like, hey,
- 20:40Speaker 2: may can I come see the house? Yeh kind of?
- 20:41Speaker 2: I'm like check out.
- 20:42Speaker 5: One time twice, okay, maybe too, which is multiple?
- 20:47Speaker 2: He say no, I got to wait until this thing's
- 20:49Speaker 2: all set up. I want he wants to have a
- 20:51Speaker 2: big welcome welcome to the Compton estate, and I respect
- 20:55Speaker 2: and love that. I'm just having a little fomo myself.
- 20:57Speaker 2: I'm here that we're moving in, all the things are
- 20:59Speaker 2: taking place. I'm like, can't wait to get my hands
- 21:01Speaker 2: on that t sauna.
- 21:02Speaker 5: You have to come before you go off to Vegas?
- 21:04Speaker 2: Can I?
- 21:05Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 21:05Speaker 2: I would love too. I would love too, because.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Pretty much photo shoot at the new house or the
- 21:10Speaker 3: old house.
- 21:11Speaker 5: The new one got you. We did a little We
- 21:13Speaker 5: did a little quick, like thirty minute deal over at
- 21:15Speaker 5: the new house. Get it was fun getting Scotty in
- 21:18Speaker 5: a diaper and some little cowboy boots running around.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Kids in cal That's awesome. We're fired up for you.
- 21:25Speaker 2: It's gonna be a nice little time. JP.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Costco guy, Yeah, over by Costco. Yeah. JP.
- 21:32Speaker 2: You were in Seattle this weekend.
- 21:33Speaker 3: I was man heard that stadium rocking all the way
- 21:36Speaker 3: from Olympic National Park.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I did, man, how was it?
- 21:40Speaker 5: What you guys, do man.
- 21:42Speaker 1: We did.
- 21:42Speaker 3: We did a lot because we're really were there for
- 21:45Speaker 3: just Saturday. So we went to Olympic National Park, hiked
- 21:48Speaker 3: Hurricane Ridge, which was awesome. It's like a three mile
- 21:51Speaker 3: loop and you get to see basically you look out
- 21:55Speaker 3: to the left, you look to the water where like
- 21:58Speaker 3: Canada would be on the other side of you look
- 22:00Speaker 3: out to the right, it's back just all mountains going back,
- 22:03Speaker 3: like more east and so full panoramic view of every
- 22:07Speaker 3: kind of site you would want. Then we drove probably
- 22:11Speaker 3: two and a half hours to this rainforest, the whole rainforest,
- 22:14Speaker 3: and it was incredible. It's like mossy trees, the river
- 22:17Speaker 3: flowing through. People were fly fishing on the drive there.
- 22:20Speaker 3: The drive is just as awesome as the actual forest.
- 22:23Speaker 3: So that was like a one and a half two
- 22:25Speaker 3: mile hike in there. Then drive to Rialto Beach to
- 22:30Speaker 3: catch the sunset, and could not have capped it off
- 22:34Speaker 3: any any better.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Way.
- 22:35Speaker 3: The sun goes down, we're starting to leave, bald eagle flies.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Oh let's go.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I took my hat off. I was on the
- 22:44Speaker 3: phone with my mom at the time FaceTime, and I said,
- 22:46Speaker 3: I gotta go. Hung up immediately call back to what happened,
- 22:49Speaker 3: I said, America happened and uh gotta go. Yeah, but
- 22:54Speaker 3: it was so cool.
- 22:55Speaker 5: Man.
- 22:55Speaker 3: That was my first time out there. Then the next
- 22:57Speaker 3: morning we got up early. We drove back to Seattle
- 23:00Speaker 3: to go to Pike Place Market, which had this insane
- 23:04Speaker 3: smoke salmon sandwich was so good. I saw the fish
- 23:07Speaker 3: get tossed, which was which was fun.
- 23:11Speaker 5: But really cool.
- 23:12Speaker 3: I got to get back out there asap because there's
- 23:14Speaker 3: so much to explore.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Yeah, and.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Does something to the soul when you're out there in
- 23:20Speaker 3: that nature due.
- 23:20Speaker 2: That area, that area of the world.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Man, it's different.
- 23:23Speaker 2: It's very cool.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I guess it's like a maybe like what four hour
- 23:26Speaker 3: drive to a Kelowna or.
- 23:28Speaker 2: You take a thirty minute flight from Seattle to Kelowna,
- 23:32Speaker 2: And that's anytime I like fly into Seattle, I spend
- 23:34Speaker 2: a whole time there. It's like this is They're very
- 23:36Speaker 2: similar as far as like landscape and everything like that.
- 23:39Speaker 2: That's just awesome to be around Vancouver, bro, I know,
- 23:42Speaker 2: I got I think it's Victoria Island. A chance to
- 23:45Speaker 2: go there. It's so much fun. TYLM and I. She
- 23:48Speaker 2: took me like off like fishing in Victoria Island and
- 23:52Speaker 2: we're sitting there, got the everyone kind of doing the deal,
- 23:55Speaker 2: like hey, this is where we fish. We're going, We're
- 23:57Speaker 2: we're trolling, and they're like pointing out like that mountain
- 23:59Speaker 2: ridge right there is America. That one's Canada. You're looking
- 24:02Speaker 2: around those old islands everywhere. It is very fucking cool.
- 24:05Speaker 2: My friend had tea the photo that Sherman's that we
- 24:07Speaker 2: had tea in that building.
- 24:09Speaker 5: That is sick.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Yeah, it is incredible. And from Port Angels to get
- 24:13Speaker 3: to Victoria Island is like an hour and a half faerry,
- 24:16Speaker 3: So we were thinking about doing it because my friend
- 24:17Speaker 3: lives there.
- 24:18Speaker 2: But check that that's the building.
- 24:19Speaker 3: It was canceled that like for the next three weeks,
- 24:23Speaker 3: there's no ferry going to Victoria. But I'll be back
- 24:25Speaker 3: out there for tariffs.
- 24:28Speaker 2: They have a bunch of biplanes too.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:30Speaker 2: That was like just fly around that area and it's
- 24:32Speaker 2: just so cool. A lot of orcas, a lot of
- 24:36Speaker 2: orcas in that area, hotbed hotbed for the orcas, or
- 24:40Speaker 2: a bunch of pods ripping around around there.
- 24:44Speaker 5: You were bringing up the outdoors. You know who's gonna
- 24:47Speaker 5: love the outdoors this weekend. Clay Matthews. Wow, the snowfall
- 24:52Speaker 5: that comes down. If you got like stuff to right
- 24:55Speaker 5: around outside in farm land and drive on, the lady
- 24:58Speaker 5: will be going nuts at the four wheelers, four wheelers
- 25:03Speaker 5: the gate or the side by sides pulling sleds on
- 25:07Speaker 5: the back of that. Oh that's a different level and
- 25:11Speaker 5: you would love that.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I can see myself loving that for sure.
- 25:14Speaker 5: That's one where you look at you you shift the
- 25:17Speaker 5: mental around a little bit differently because you're somebody who's
- 25:19Speaker 5: accessed all these outdoor toys and you got a bunch
- 25:21Speaker 5: of land to rip around the snow in.
- 25:24Speaker 2: I don't deny that all that snow provides these types
- 25:27Speaker 2: of things I'm talking about. I'm talking about the in between. Doug.
- 25:31Speaker 2: That's a good day. You can get that done in
- 25:33Speaker 2: three to five days. What you just said right there,
- 25:35Speaker 2: I love three.
- 25:36Speaker 5: Knowing you wake up each morning and get out in
- 25:38Speaker 5: the land and rip around.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but do I the third day of doing that?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Every day you're like, so, what do we do today?
- 25:44Speaker 2: It's probably do the same.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Thing, Taylor.
- 25:46Speaker 3: They need to send us to Brian Peters new house
- 25:49Speaker 3: in Idaho just for like a snow boot camp.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Now, Bro There's something about when I see like people
- 25:55Speaker 2: in like Norway or Sweden like do the saunas and
- 25:58Speaker 2: they get out and then they jump into cold water. Like
- 26:00Speaker 2: that's that's kind of nice. I like that. Then the towing.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I there's a lot of activities. You knock those out
- 26:08Speaker 2: in three to five days. That's why you go see
- 26:10Speaker 2: the snow, enjoy the snow.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Then you get into uh sure highlighting Hibachi night with
- 26:21Speaker 5: the boys at the shop. What does that mean? Like
- 26:23Speaker 5: have hibachi chefs come over and like do a Hibachi
- 26:26Speaker 5: night here people shop.
- 26:29Speaker 9: Could be kind of nice.
- 26:30Speaker 5: It'll be nice, just like a dinner with the boys. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:35Speaker 5: do what they come to you.
- 26:38Speaker 9: They bring the the table and they cook it in
- 26:41Speaker 9: front of you, so we can just set up tables
- 26:43Speaker 9: however we want and they do a show for everybody.
- 26:47Speaker 9: I think it could be good for the vlog, a
- 26:49Speaker 9: little content game going.
- 26:51Speaker 5: Yeah, fun vlog. Another one another one you got you
- 26:54Speaker 5: also have on the list? Paintball?
- 26:57Speaker 1: Yeah? Are we doing it?
- 26:59Speaker 9: I just want I just want a pulse check because
- 27:07Speaker 9: Jeremy had confirmed that we have a place that we
- 27:11Speaker 9: could go paintball. It's really just finding a date to
- 27:14Speaker 9: do it.
- 27:15Speaker 5: So the play it's like a paintball spot clump. You've
- 27:18Speaker 5: talked to him, so they're more than happy to have
- 27:20Speaker 5: the boys out prepared for this.
- 27:21Speaker 6: But uh, yes, there is a there's a place that
- 27:24Speaker 6: will let us come. They'll shut down the whole place
- 27:25Speaker 6: so we can just play every every course all day
- 27:29Speaker 6: on top of them. I forget the name of what
- 27:31Speaker 6: it is.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I think Delaney took all the Titans out there to yell.
- 27:34Speaker 6: I know is it's going to be sick. We just
- 27:36Speaker 6: have to find a date and we can do our
- 27:38Speaker 6: thing there.
- 27:40Speaker 8: Like a goal you look for for the spring when
- 27:42Speaker 8: it's a little warmer. Yeah, Saturday was a joke, but clean.
- 27:48Speaker 1: That's clean.
- 27:51Speaker 2: A lot of activities to do here up, But we
- 27:53Speaker 2: can't paintball. Why can't we paintball on the snow boys.
- 27:56Speaker 2: We're busy, we're busy on the fields. Yeah, three to
- 28:00Speaker 2: five days exactly.
- 28:03Speaker 5: It's a good clean take.
- 28:06Speaker 2: And then there's the thawing process where it starts a
- 28:09Speaker 2: thaw and then it melts down a little bit, but
- 28:10Speaker 2: that night it goes back to freezing. So the next
- 28:12Speaker 2: day you got a bunch of ice around. Black ice
- 28:15Speaker 2: is everywhere.
- 28:15Speaker 5: That's where you get to the text from all your parents,
- 28:17Speaker 5: like my dad always be careful with the black ice.
- 28:20Speaker 2: I got your dad, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, I just
- 28:23Speaker 2: like and they gotta worry about that. If it's not
- 28:26Speaker 2: snowing outside.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Great out for a video game in two and you
- 28:30Speaker 5: have the snow days? Man, yeah you do that?
- 28:35Speaker 2: Do you do that every every day of the year?
- 28:36Speaker 2: But yeah, hey, you do every day of the year. Hey,
- 28:41Speaker 2: you have to clean take. You guys can Actually, I
- 28:43Speaker 2: promise you can play video games every day of the
- 28:45Speaker 2: year if you wanted, regardless of the weather outside.
- 28:48Speaker 5: Let's see if this is a clean take. Playing video
- 28:52Speaker 5: games when the snow is outside hits different.
- 28:57Speaker 8: Great clean take, great clean tape.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Guys are getting a little you guys are gett You
- 29:04Speaker 2: guys get a little oppressive with the different comments.
- 29:07Speaker 7: The thing is, though, like for Will like what he's
- 29:09Speaker 7: what you're saying, Like, say, it's like a Thursday, like
- 29:12Speaker 7: any day during the league, Wednesday, Thursday, and you're starting
- 29:14Speaker 7: to snow. It's like, boys, you're on the game with
- 29:16Speaker 7: the fellas. You think we're gonna have school tomorrow. Bro,
- 29:20Speaker 7: you know when.
- 29:21Speaker 5: Those convos are going down and you're in high school
- 29:23Speaker 5: or in any any any grade school, whatever.
- 29:25Speaker 8: Stay up a little later.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Ye I don't think kids have that anymore.
- 29:31Speaker 5: I know you can just kind of get it up
- 29:33Speaker 5: there on your phone on Twitter. There's no anticipation, bro,
- 29:36Speaker 5: when you're standing in front of the TV just seeing
- 29:38Speaker 5: the ticker go and then seen your county pop up.
- 29:40Speaker 8: Yeah, nothing worse than seeing your county not get called
- 29:45Speaker 8: or your.
- 29:45Speaker 5: Arrival school get called and you not yet.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Y'all go by, y'all go by counties.
- 29:52Speaker 8: I think that's what yea, ours were counties.
- 29:54Speaker 1: We PA was like individual school.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you'd see nor Saint Pracs County.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Did y'all get a like, so you did your whole county?
- 30:02Speaker 5: No, No, it would be schools. It'd be by school.
- 30:04Speaker 7: Did you guys have like two hour delays and stuff?
- 30:06Speaker 5: Or we know we never had delays.
- 30:09Speaker 8: We'd be like coming at ten. It's like, man, fuck this,
- 30:11Speaker 8: I'm already up. I'm just going in now. Wade smokes
- 30:14Speaker 8: a weed in the parking lotters.
- 30:16Speaker 5: This is gonna help. This will help Taylor's case of
- 30:20Speaker 5: anti snow.
- 30:21Speaker 2: But the best I have the best I have the
- 30:23Speaker 2: best case right now. My case is a lot. Somebody
- 30:28Speaker 2: comments be like, oh, come on, that's good. Tier ones
- 30:32Speaker 2: doing their thing.
- 30:33Speaker 4: Is when it would snow and you'd get out of
- 30:35Speaker 4: school and buy like noon or one o'clock, it's all melted,
- 30:38Speaker 4: but you got the whole day.
- 30:40Speaker 5: One of our boys, his dad.
- 30:41Speaker 2: It was great going to school, getting a good education
- 30:44Speaker 2: in the sunshine. That's great, dude, clean take. Caring about
- 30:47Speaker 2: your education is so important.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Proud of you.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Yeah, when to sleep, you know what?
- 30:51Speaker 5: You know?
- 30:51Speaker 2: What's clean take? Not staying up late to wa wash
- 30:53Speaker 2: the news to see for snow snow day, it's getting
- 30:56Speaker 2: a full eight hours developing.
- 30:58Speaker 4: Because you missed out on that as a child.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Missed out.
- 31:01Speaker 5: He missed out on that. And there was our boy,
- 31:03Speaker 5: so one of our one of our boys, his dad
- 31:05Speaker 5: was a superintendent, so he'd be the one getting up
- 31:07Speaker 5: and driving around to see if we'd have school or not.
- 31:09Speaker 5: So we'd always be hit him. Hey what your dad saying?
- 31:12Speaker 5: Get him on the phone. It was a good clean take.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:22Speaker 7: My My clean take is that it's never too early
- 31:26Speaker 7: for dinner. Brooke and I went to uh Sushi Son Uh.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Say three pm?
- 31:33Speaker 7: Well, we went at four pm. It was the only
- 31:37Speaker 7: reservation that they had available all the guys said, Bro,
- 31:41Speaker 7: you didn't even have to do that. But when I
- 31:43Speaker 7: got there, the place was popping. It was a good
- 31:46Speaker 7: amount of people there. The place was really good. But
- 31:50Speaker 7: I mean, then you're done dinner at five thirty six.
- 31:53Speaker 7: You could hit another spot later for dessert if you want, Like,
- 31:56Speaker 7: if you.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Want to full belly, can't lose a lot of the day.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Yeah, Like that's a clean takes. A clean take.
- 32:04Speaker 1: There's a lot more.
- 32:05Speaker 7: Like you still have like the rest of your night,
- 32:07Speaker 7: Like you can go home, chill for a little bit,
- 32:08Speaker 7: and then it's like eight o'clock and like if you
- 32:11Speaker 7: still want to go do something like so.
- 32:13Speaker 5: Like you can go do it. I think you get
- 32:15Speaker 5: away with time.
- 32:16Speaker 4: I think you get away with that four pm dinner
- 32:17Speaker 4: just because it gets dark a little early, but a
- 32:19Speaker 4: four pm dinner when it's nice and warm out.
- 32:23Speaker 1: You got two days left and then you can go
- 32:25Speaker 1: somewhere get a drink.
- 32:27Speaker 2: That's with everything, mit you're saying.
- 32:28Speaker 5: Yeah, Also, I know across the board, all parents are
- 32:31Speaker 5: on board with that clean take right there.
- 32:33Speaker 2: There's not one parent that goes rather be an eight,
- 32:36Speaker 2: like it's we dinner every night at five in the
- 32:38Speaker 2: little one household, yeah, five, pop.
- 32:40Speaker 5: You can get those reservations early. Go somewhere early. We
- 32:42Speaker 5: had a six dinner and I think that's a sweet spot.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Six.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Start whinding down around seven. Brother, I like my five
- 32:49Speaker 2: PM dinners.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Four pm was kind of a vibe.
- 32:52Speaker 7: Everybody was saying, like you're you're ridiculous, and like, I
- 32:57Speaker 7: kind of fun with it.
- 32:57Speaker 5: There's a lot.
- 33:00Speaker 8: It was ridiculous, though, Is it okay if I go
- 33:02Speaker 8: through this?
- 33:03Speaker 1: I am because I am leaving.
- 33:05Speaker 5: His congratulations to Brooks.
- 33:07Speaker 8: She just finally graduated what is the PA school?
- 33:10Speaker 7: She took her like board exam for PA.
- 33:12Speaker 8: So Mitch on Wednesday, it was like he wanted to
- 33:16Speaker 8: do something special for brook for this big milestone. So
- 33:19Speaker 8: he's like, I'm going to get a reservation and he's.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Asking about a restaurant called Craigs and I'm thinking he's
- 33:24Speaker 2: doing this in a week or two and go ahead. Sorry,
- 33:28Speaker 2: he was.
- 33:28Speaker 8: Trying to get the reservation for the following day, so
- 33:31Speaker 8: he only had four pm or nine thirty pm, and
- 33:34Speaker 8: so he chose that, and then he also forgot he
- 33:37Speaker 8: had his flag football game the same day. So it
- 33:39Speaker 8: kind of was a win win for Mitch. Eat dinner
- 33:41Speaker 8: at four get a nice digestion and then go play
- 33:44Speaker 8: flag at eight Did you play flagger? Because it rained
- 33:47Speaker 8: that night?
- 33:48Speaker 1: Flag is indoors?
- 33:49Speaker 8: Gotcha so and canceled pregame meal.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Pre game meals.
- 33:53Speaker 7: I ended up not going to Craigs like yeah, because
- 33:56Speaker 7: she was like, we don't have to do that, but
- 33:58Speaker 7: went to so she sign got full. It's like, I'm
- 34:01Speaker 7: a good fool right now. I know in two hours
- 34:03Speaker 7: I'll be like, everything will be digested and ready to
- 34:05Speaker 7: play flag. Ripped around, play flag, shout out Jack BB
- 34:08Speaker 7: he came. But yeah, I did want to do like
- 34:12Speaker 7: something special for Brook. But then I was like, shit,
- 34:14Speaker 7: I have a flag, yeah, garretts As did Brook make
- 34:16Speaker 7: it game?
- 34:18Speaker 1: Brooke did not?
- 34:19Speaker 2: So what's ridiculous about this?
- 34:21Speaker 1: It was?
- 34:22Speaker 5: And it was kind of.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Later on I say it's about it's clean.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Take that's clean, clean, It's all clean. I think everything
- 34:32Speaker 2: is clean here. I canna understand where you're coming from.
- 34:34Speaker 2: I love the idea of a four o'clock dinner almost
- 34:37Speaker 2: called it lunch, and I also love the idea of
- 34:41Speaker 2: them saying it's ridiculous that you chose Flay football of
- 34:43Speaker 2: your girlfriend.
- 34:43Speaker 5: That's all good, clean, hitting the restaurants now getting.
- 34:47Speaker 2: The Yeah, you know what's awesome, dude, When you live
- 34:52Speaker 2: in a place you don't have to worry about the

- 37:57Speaker 5: years ago. But yeah, it's been like the farthest they've got. Well, no,

- 38:50Speaker 2: I loved to get out to Bontaire.
- 38:51Speaker 9: I love that Bontaire in that area. You got the
- 38:54Speaker 9: French Saint spelling and you got the English Saint spelling.
- 38:58Speaker 2: That's that's fun.
- 38:59Speaker 5: Yeah, fun.
- 39:00Speaker 2: Bonteraira is also.
- 39:01Speaker 5: Fringe, yes, or good Earth are good people one of those?
- 39:06Speaker 5: It's all the same, man, But big this is this
- 39:09Speaker 5: is lineage right here, this is bloodline. Grandfather went to
- 39:12Speaker 5: North County. Well, he didn't go to North County. This
- 39:15Speaker 5: is when the North County was split between the Bontaire
- 39:18Speaker 5: Uh what was it? The Bontaire Bulldogs and the Deluge Tigers.
- 39:22Speaker 5: North County forms becomes a family in nineteen sixty seven,
- 39:27Speaker 5: the great integration. So my dad, he was a North
- 39:30Speaker 5: County boy. He bled for the Blue and Gold. Your boy,
- 39:33Speaker 5: will he see bled for the Blue and gold? My
- 39:35Speaker 5: brothers now White's the head coach of the Blue and Gold.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Man.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Now let me ask you this, when White is the
- 39:39Speaker 2: head coaching joke, did he make a phone call to
- 39:41Speaker 2: his older brother asking to be a DC.
- 39:43Speaker 5: No, he didn't call.
- 39:46Speaker 2: No, he even mentioned it in passing.
- 39:48Speaker 5: He talked about the interview process. But no, no, like
- 39:52Speaker 5: me coming down.
- 39:52Speaker 1: To health corn, what are you saying that?
- 39:57Speaker 5: No, it's not below me. It's just gonna be hard
- 39:58Speaker 5: to put on the podcast. No, I've been flirted.
- 40:02Speaker 2: There's been everybody in the comments go, oh no, Will
- 40:06Speaker 2: there's been a uh, you know, helping out your brother.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Oh no, man, come on, that's that's beneath me. He said,
- 40:15Speaker 2: I did say that. You said it with the shoulders.
- 40:17Speaker 5: No, I'm just saying it be hard to pull me
- 40:19Speaker 5: into the coaching world with the gig we have going on,
- 40:20Speaker 5: because I've been flirted a couple jobs in the football world.
- 40:23Speaker 2: To your boy, Yeah, there's a let me ask you this.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Does it stand for knowledge? Have they called them? You know?
- 40:32Speaker 5: LB's been conversations in the past. It's been conversations in
- 40:36Speaker 5: the past. God break my heart if you left, Yeah,
- 40:39Speaker 5: break mine?
- 40:40Speaker 2: Yeah, don't hey, don't do it not yet.
- 40:45Speaker 5: Okay, dude, did you give a clean take?
- 40:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 40:50Speaker 2: Wi clean?
- 40:51Speaker 5: I think I gave a couple of clean takes, the
- 40:53Speaker 5: Video game one and the snow Day one.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Who said, who had this scene take that everybody was
- 40:58Speaker 2: all about, that's.
- 41:01Speaker 5: A good clean take.
- 41:03Speaker 2: Stiffer. That's a clean take? Are we everybody else? Give
- 41:08Speaker 2: you a good take? A clean take? What's your clean.
- 41:14Speaker 5: Uh?
- 41:15Speaker 6: My wife and I may have cracked a code of
- 41:17Speaker 6: parenting for going out to eat with your children. Breakfast
- 41:23Speaker 6: over dinner is the way. For some reason, we're like
- 41:25Speaker 6: four in a row of just going out, no problems
- 41:27Speaker 6: at all. Kids are hungry, they eat easy breakfast food
- 41:31Speaker 6: in and out, so we get to go out have fun.
- 41:33Speaker 5: Dinner is always tough.
- 41:34Speaker 6: You don't know what the menus like, what the mac
- 41:36Speaker 6: and cheese is like. If it's the one that JJ likes,
- 41:38Speaker 6: the one he doesn't like, you'll get a pancake.
- 41:42Speaker 5: That guy will throw.
- 41:42Speaker 6: Down some pancakes. So yeah, yeah, Breakfast is a a
- 41:47Speaker 6: clutch move as a parent to go out to eat
- 41:49Speaker 6: with the kids.
- 41:50Speaker 2: So clean take, clean take. That's a clean take. I
- 41:52Speaker 2: like that take. I let that take. I like that take.
- 41:57Speaker 5: Clean take. Should we get into jeff sim Jeffrey Simmons
- 42:02Speaker 5: not the old quarterback for Nebraska.
- 42:04Speaker 2: And of course thank you too.
- 42:06Speaker 5: Yeah, listen, everybody hearing all these clean takes, whether you're
- 42:08Speaker 5: driving with them, whether you're not, all these clean takes
- 42:11Speaker 5: come to us. Big thanks to Kevin's Natural Foods Clean
- 42:14Speaker 5: Takes for all of our clean takes today. Thank you, yeah,
- 42:21Speaker 5: thank you, thank you, good job. I love pausematic pause,
- 42:25Speaker 5: do you what's up? Shout? I did? I just shout
- 42:28Speaker 5: it out Wyatt and now and then we did a
- 42:31Speaker 5: shout out. No free shout out for for Brooke, go ahead.
- 42:38Speaker 3: Mini fast shot out, a free shout out. Somebody may
- 42:40Speaker 3: have said this, Jack might have said this before. But
- 42:42Speaker 3: when you land and you have a connecting flight, you
- 42:45Speaker 3: get off the plane and you're still your next flight
- 42:47Speaker 3: is at the same exact gate, so you have you
- 42:50Speaker 3: don't have to go anywhere for it. You just hop on,
- 42:52Speaker 3: go to the bathroom real quick, sit down for ten
- 42:54Speaker 3: to fifteen minutes, get right back on.
- 42:56Speaker 5: That good shout out, Thank you, thank you.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Nice.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Happened to me in Denver last yesterday. Actually so so nice.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, shout out, nofre shout out. Nineties parenting when
- 43:10Speaker 2: you look at the kids and you're like go outside,
- 43:12Speaker 2: like what are we gonna do? Is like figure it out,
- 43:14Speaker 2: gotta be out there, go out there and have fun,
- 43:17Speaker 2: just really tricks them into complex thinking, Hey, how am
- 43:21Speaker 2: I to get rid of this boredom? No, one's coming
- 43:22Speaker 2: to save me. They go out there, they have a
- 43:24Speaker 2: lot of fun. I enjoy just sending my kids outside
- 43:27Speaker 2: and being like, I'll see you when I see you.
- 43:28Speaker 5: Yeah, get the belt.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Okay, it's the first Yeah, shut up, shut up beating
- 43:36Speaker 2: your kids up.
- 43:36Speaker 3: The first gen switch, the first gen switch.
- 43:39Speaker 2: Yeah, my kids. That was when we and I told
- 43:42Speaker 2: them because we were having a conversations about consequences, and
- 43:45Speaker 2: it was like, you know, you get this what happened
- 43:47Speaker 2: when you were a kid dead? And I was like, oh,
- 43:50Speaker 2: the belt, the little the little stick that's not as
- 43:53Speaker 2: it has to be thinner than your thumb, getting the switch,
- 43:57Speaker 2: all those things and their faces when I was telling
- 43:59Speaker 2: them like this, this is how consequences used to happen
- 44:02Speaker 2: back in the day. Oh you have no idea. How
- 44:04Speaker 2: good you have it? Do you no idea?
- 44:07Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 44:10Speaker 2: To switch, it has to be like lessen the width
- 44:12Speaker 2: of your thumb. You have to find a stick out there.
- 44:15Speaker 2: And they fucking let you know who's who in the
- 44:18Speaker 2: zoo spoons?
- 44:20Speaker 5: Yeah, wooden spooners.
- 44:23Speaker 2: You know, you find out. You find out. These kids
- 44:28Speaker 2: I look at them the wrong way and they're like,
- 44:30Speaker 2: oh shit, oh ship Dad.
- 44:32Speaker 9: Is soap on the tongue. Is that still fair game?
- 44:34Speaker 2: Washing the mouth?
- 44:36Speaker 1: Definitely?
- 44:38Speaker 3: Now it's e m F E m F exposure.
- 44:41Speaker 5: Punishment, hand on the back of the neck, just aggressively
- 44:47Speaker 5: jog all over that. So we have a great question
- 44:49Speaker 5: here to your talk with Martin Kinney. When you order it,
- 44:53Speaker 5: guys listening to this one now, when you order a salad,
- 44:56Speaker 5: do you prefer thin sliced cucumbers or a thicker slice
- 45:00Speaker 5: peel on or off? For me, sliced size doesn't matter. However,
- 45:05Speaker 5: if it is thin slice, leave the peel on. If thick, though,
- 45:10Speaker 5: it better be bald. That peel will overwhelm the whole
- 45:13Speaker 5: cucumber in the salad. I don't mind cucumbers.
- 45:21Speaker 2: That's an overthought, take overanalyzing. Take here's my cucumbers on
- 45:27Speaker 2: the salad.
- 45:27Speaker 5: I like it thicker slice because I enjoy cucumbers.
- 45:30Speaker 2: I like the crunch. You have, the crunch add the
- 45:32Speaker 2: texture to your salad. Skin on, skin off? I feel
- 45:35Speaker 2: like when you're asking for skin off cucumber, it's like,
- 45:37Speaker 2: what are we asking for?
- 45:38Speaker 5: Didn't even know that was like an option? I guyeah,
- 45:40Speaker 5: I guess you could peel.
- 45:41Speaker 2: It off, but that's crazy to me.
- 45:43Speaker 5: Never my life breaking. You take the skin off the
- 45:46Speaker 5: Greek salad?
- 45:46Speaker 2: Please? Can you do the cumbers and just peel off
- 45:48Speaker 2: the skin of it?
- 45:49Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 45:50Speaker 2: Fuck this guy, all right. I had the least clean
- 45:54Speaker 2: take I've ever heard of my life asking for these cucumbers.
- 45:56Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 45:57Speaker 9: So yeah, I love just the prefaces. I just love
- 46:01Speaker 9: that this fan is so passionate that he put this
- 46:04Speaker 9: on a football shows to your talk of something that
- 46:07Speaker 9: we would talk about. I was like, I gotta put
- 46:08Speaker 9: it on there.
- 46:09Speaker 2: He's the one by Dev's fan eighty two. The New
- 46:13Speaker 2: Jersey Devils will never win another Cup as long as
- 46:15Speaker 2: Harris and Blitzer own the team and Tom Fitzgerald is
- 46:19Speaker 2: the GM.
- 46:20Speaker 5: I agree with that same.
- 46:21Speaker 2: I've thought about these guys. I've thought to myself, he'll
- 46:25Speaker 2: never win, They'll never make the playoffs with those three.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Are looking good though.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I like that they are.
- 46:32Speaker 5: Only three games back.
- 46:33Speaker 9: I believe they are two games back.
- 46:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree. New Jersey Devils far from a Cup.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Sacrilege if you really think about it.
- 46:42Speaker 5: As long as Harrison Blitzer on the team and Tom
- 46:44Speaker 5: Fitzgerald's a g.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Tom Fitzgerald, I've always had a unless the ownership wants
- 46:52Speaker 2: to go to the playoffs and win a cup. Yeah,
- 46:54Speaker 2: a hot team for sure.
- 46:56Speaker 9: For Tom, I would say that's a no brainer. But
- 46:59Speaker 9: as far is like ownership, it's a little different in hockey.
- 47:03Speaker 1: You know.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Yeah, the jury's out man, Yeah right, you have to
- 47:07Speaker 2: be seen. You have to be seen.
- 47:09Speaker 5: That concludes our NHL talk. Jerry's out.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Arizona is a hot bet for NHL players. Way more
- 47:18Speaker 2: to talk.

- 49:00Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to another wonderful interview of Busting
- 49:02Speaker 2: with the boys. We have a legendary Titans guest with
- 49:05Speaker 2: us today. Drafted, had an ACL situation training training for
- 49:11Speaker 2: the predictor for the NFL draft. Four per time pro
- 49:14Speaker 2: bowler twenty twenty five comes in this year, no belly,
- 49:17Speaker 2: know nothing, just a whole bunch a ball of muscle
- 49:20Speaker 2: gets his first All Pro. Big round of applause four.
- 49:22Speaker 2: Jeffrey Simmons that first All Pro.
- 49:27Speaker 5: Congrats me.
- 49:28Speaker 2: It's because you you've obviously you've been extremely dominant when
- 49:32Speaker 2: you came in. So let me just give you, guys,
- 49:34Speaker 2: all the viewers, the view of how Jeffrey Simmons is
- 49:37Speaker 2: in the building when he first got there. Guy's got
- 49:39Speaker 2: an ACL, gets drafted eighteen overall, nineteen overall comes in
- 49:44Speaker 2: the building. Can't do OTAs, can't do a rookie MINTI camp,
- 49:47Speaker 2: can't do camp. But you're in there and everyone's kind
- 49:50Speaker 2: of getting their jaw sets in the training room, you
- 49:52Speaker 2: know how it is. And this guy, this cat who
- 49:55Speaker 2: like can't play yet, is just talking shit to everybody.
- 49:58Speaker 2: He's just like you trash you j'm a your ass
- 50:01Speaker 2: who the fuck is this guy? And then Chargers game
- 50:04Speaker 2: he plays, gets his first sack in the Chargers game,
- 50:06Speaker 2: You're like, oh yo, this this Jeff Simmons. Cats got
- 50:08Speaker 2: a little bit of asked to him. He's got something
- 50:09Speaker 2: going on. Fast forward to four Pro Bowls, your first
- 50:13Speaker 2: All Pro and it feels like to me, because you've
- 50:15Speaker 2: had an incredible level of dominance, especially this year, is
- 50:19Speaker 2: there a piece of you that thinks to yourself like,
- 50:21Speaker 2: man if I was on a team with a higher
- 50:23Speaker 2: that had a higher media market. Not taking anything away
- 50:25Speaker 2: from the Titans at all, but if you play for
- 50:27Speaker 2: like the Packers, the Cowboys, the Eagles, these teams the Steelers,
- 50:31Speaker 2: are there multiple All pros in your back right now?
- 50:34Speaker 1: I think so? But I also think it just the consistency,
- 50:39Speaker 1: you know, throughout my career is like, you know, some games,
- 50:42Speaker 1: especially you know, things I can't control, like injuries, you know,
- 50:46Speaker 1: from the elbows to the meniscus to ankles. Like of
- 50:53Speaker 1: course I had a couple of injuries here and there
- 50:54Speaker 1: to where I missed a couple of games, but it
- 50:57Speaker 1: didn't take away from when I'm out there, my present
- 51:00Speaker 1: been felt. So I would say maybe that would play
- 51:05Speaker 1: a big part of it. You know. I have always
- 51:07Speaker 1: thought thought of that, especially later in my career now
- 51:10Speaker 1: to where it's like bro We and then not just me,
- 51:13Speaker 1: it's guys around like on the team. I mean, you
- 51:16Speaker 1: you've been here, You've been in Tennessee, especially your career.
- 51:19Speaker 1: You know the type of market. You know, the attension
- 51:22Speaker 1: that we don't get here because it's been like this
- 51:25Speaker 1: past year. I would feel like Sedrick gray Man, he's
- 51:29Speaker 1: before he went out with the concussion, like he was
- 51:32Speaker 1: second in the league and tackling. You know, I feel
- 51:35Speaker 1: like guys like that had got no attention, especially this
- 51:38Speaker 1: past season because of the market we was in. But
- 51:40Speaker 1: on top of it, we didn't win no football game,
- 51:42Speaker 1: so we could say the market. But I mean we
- 51:46Speaker 1: haven't won no football games. I think winning solve everything.
- 51:50Speaker 5: What do you feel like has happened over these last
- 51:53Speaker 5: couple of years because you you you you came from
- 51:56Speaker 5: the you were drafted, you've been around for rave, you
- 51:58Speaker 5: were around that culture. Oh he's now in New England.
- 52:01Speaker 5: You're watching him kind of them do their thing out
- 52:03Speaker 5: there a lot of optimisms when Callahan came in, you
- 52:05Speaker 5: get cam Ward this past year, But what do you
- 52:07Speaker 5: feel like has been different from going from Rabel through
- 52:11Speaker 5: Callahan to now you're looking at getting another head coach.
- 52:15Speaker 1: I'm trying to say his best way without like because
- 52:18Speaker 1: I don't know. We learned with Verbel not to compare. Yeah,
- 52:22Speaker 1: so I think, but when you could, when you look
- 52:25Speaker 1: at it from a player standpoint, it's like, what is
- 52:29Speaker 1: it really our identity? You know? I feel like as
- 52:31Speaker 1: a team, you know, and that was something something that
- 52:35Speaker 1: I was trying to help find. I really feel like
- 52:39Speaker 1: we really didn't have. I mean because later in the
- 52:41Speaker 1: season we started running the football. It's like, damn, why
- 52:44Speaker 1: we couldn't do this early in the season. I feel
- 52:46Speaker 1: like that should have been all identity to start off with,
- 52:50Speaker 1: to help a young quarterback. Which is no knock on
- 52:53Speaker 1: the coaches or whatever, but I feel like going forward
- 52:57Speaker 1: we have to fit. I mean, it's all start with
- 52:58Speaker 1: the foundation. It's all over with the when you lay,
- 53:01Speaker 1: just like building the house. If your foundation not there
- 53:04Speaker 1: and not good, you had a ship the house. So
- 53:07Speaker 1: I feel like when we first when Callahan first got in,
- 53:12Speaker 1: and it's no not to CALLI Kala is a great guy.
- 53:14Speaker 1: He was a great coach, you know. I don't think
- 53:18Speaker 1: it was just the time for that, because you know,
- 53:20Speaker 1: going from Veryber, I knew we all knew what it
- 53:22Speaker 1: looked like. The guys who've been there at me hooked
- 53:25Speaker 1: like we knew what it looked like to not let
- 53:27Speaker 1: things slip. I feel like in the past, like you know,
- 53:31Speaker 1: first maybe the year or so, when we got the
- 53:34Speaker 1: coach and chain, we're going to the coaching change, and
- 53:37Speaker 1: I mean you you guys saw the roster me we
- 53:39Speaker 1: got what maybe six or seven rookies playing at one
- 53:43Speaker 1: time at one point of the season. So it's like
- 53:45Speaker 1: when you have for such a young team, what what
- 53:48Speaker 1: can you really fall back on? What? What who are
- 53:50Speaker 1: the Tennessee Titans? And what do we really stand for?
- 53:54Speaker 1: And I guess that's we didn't have that. It's like
- 53:57Speaker 1: we knew what Veryboy expected. And I was telling guys
- 54:00Speaker 1: like the first day of meetings, and I remember l
- 54:04Speaker 1: t As I was there because I had got my
- 54:05Speaker 1: anchor cleaned up. And I get there and I see
- 54:08Speaker 1: guys running around looking for notebooks and pencils. Verble first
- 54:14Speaker 1: right last year he was here, and I guess it
- 54:17Speaker 1: was the message that everybody was getting in the locker room.
- 54:19Speaker 1: I'm talking about knew guys. Everybody coming in there with
- 54:22Speaker 1: notebooks and pencil. I remember him saying, what do you got?
- 54:25Speaker 1: What do you got ready to write down? I'm not
- 54:27Speaker 1: gonna talk about nothing right now. And that's what you know.
- 54:31Speaker 1: We knew what Verble expected and we knew what he
- 54:34Speaker 1: wanted out of the team. Like God, the message was
- 54:37Speaker 1: in the locker room, and it's like this past year
- 54:40Speaker 1: and last year, it's just like we didn't have that because.
- 54:44Speaker 5: With Braves, it's the vets are just letting the young guys.
- 54:47Speaker 5: I'm ready write because he's gonna ask something and you're
- 54:49Speaker 5: gonna be on the spot and you better have something,
- 54:51Speaker 5: better be ready to go.
- 54:53Speaker 2: Any Rooky Worth their Saul is like reaching out to
- 54:55Speaker 2: a vat be like, what should I expect going into
- 54:57Speaker 2: these team?
- 54:59Speaker 1: I'm turning in Dallas and matter of fact, I'm at
- 55:02Speaker 1: the pro Bo at Black last year, I'm at the
- 55:05Speaker 1: pro Bo. I'm talking to Dre May. He's like, what
- 55:09Speaker 1: about Rabel? What you think about Rabel? What should I expect?
- 55:11Speaker 1: Like these guys asking this, it's like this last year
- 55:15Speaker 1: when I'm out there in Dallas training and they gotta
- 55:17Speaker 1: I think you play more special team. But he was like, Bro,
- 55:20Speaker 1: everything you told me about Rabel, he wasn't lying, Like
- 55:22Speaker 1: he asked hell a question. Mozel. He was here and
- 55:26Speaker 1: he was like, Bro. He texted me. He was like, Bro,
- 55:28Speaker 1: you wasn't lying, Like you know, everything you're saying about Rabel,
- 55:31Speaker 1: it's true, like guys be on alert in t mes.
- 55:34Speaker 1: He asking guys. He said, I'm not even playing. He
- 55:36Speaker 1: asked me question. So it's been things like that to
- 55:39Speaker 1: where you know, I'm not saying a coach have to
- 55:43Speaker 1: do that, but it's also just that feeling in the
- 55:47Speaker 1: building to where, yeah, we're gonna have fun, but we're
- 55:50Speaker 1: gonna know how to do things before we even touch
- 55:52Speaker 1: the football field. Because I mean, we all say it,
- 55:55Speaker 1: like we say the lit things sometimes don't matter and whatever.
- 55:59Speaker 1: But I feel like the things that happened off the
- 56:02Speaker 1: football field in the means room lead onto the football field.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, I see a playout. And then this
- 56:09Speaker 2: year we went to the Patriots camp and Will and
- 56:11Speaker 2: I are walking around like, okay, like this is Rabe's
- 56:13Speaker 2: first year. They went four and twelve. Last year. You
- 56:15Speaker 2: look at the roster as a whole, and there's not
- 56:16Speaker 2: like a bunch of names that you know, and you're like,
- 56:18Speaker 2: they'll probably like double their win total, probably like an
- 56:21Speaker 2: eight win team. You have to have cultural wins here
- 56:23Speaker 2: and there. And then you see the turn on that
- 56:25Speaker 2: they have and you're just like, oh, that is clearly
- 56:28Speaker 2: the coach having everybody understand every situation and they just
- 56:31Speaker 2: run it. Dude. The thing that frustrating the most watching
- 56:35Speaker 2: you guys, as opposed to when Rabel was there was
- 56:37Speaker 2: the time management. Dude, this is this is a safe space.
- 56:44Speaker 2: We know Callahan's a good guy, he's a friend of
- 56:45Speaker 2: the show, Like I'm a fan of him as a person,
- 56:48Speaker 2: but from a coaching standpoint, he had so many blind
- 56:51Speaker 2: spots where you kind of see when you're around Raves
- 56:55Speaker 2: enough you see like, okay, he's got people in his
- 56:57Speaker 2: left and right pocket during games stretch being one of
- 57:00Speaker 2: them that is feeding them all him all the information
- 57:02Speaker 2: that he knows, Like it takes so much for a
- 57:05Speaker 2: coach to sit there and identify every situation with the
- 57:08Speaker 2: with the play clock going on, with the time with
- 57:10Speaker 2: your timeouts, was that a catch? Was it not a catch?
- 57:13Speaker 2: Do I need to throw a red flag out here?
- 57:14Speaker 2: And Ray would have the right people to be upstairs
- 57:17Speaker 2: saying those things, and it just seemed like Callahan was
- 57:20Speaker 2: kind of just a first time head coach that was
- 57:22Speaker 2: like not he was thinking it all himself.
- 57:24Speaker 5: Yeah, if Ray Bowys did a good job of like teaching,
- 57:28Speaker 5: like the Friday tape like coaching technique. There's a play
- 57:30Speaker 5: over the weekend against the Texas where I see I
- 57:32Speaker 5: think it was Gonzale as the dB. He just shoots,
- 57:35Speaker 5: he shoots his hand to get a BBU and I'm
- 57:37Speaker 5: beautiful and everybody who's playing for Ray or I'm sitting
- 57:40Speaker 5: there watching, I'm like, that is literally that'll be on
- 57:42Speaker 5: the Friday Tape next week on something that was done well,
- 57:45Speaker 5: taking the coaching to the football.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Field as a well coach Broke, I mean we all
- 57:50Speaker 1: like the Friday tape shit, bro Like it blew my mind.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Like not like I said, it's not a knock to
- 57:57Speaker 1: Callahan and the coaches, but it blew my mind because
- 58:02Speaker 1: I came from Verbel, like I was away Verble for
- 58:04Speaker 1: five years. But to see and he did a hell
- 58:08Speaker 1: of a job, but to see Bones do the Friday
- 58:12Speaker 1: tape and go over a couple of situations that was surprising.
- 58:17Speaker 1: And I know Bones could be a freaking head coach,
- 58:19Speaker 1: and I'm talking about special team coach. I'm sure he
- 58:22Speaker 1: like Bone got the quality he got, the way he
- 58:24Speaker 1: the way he connect with players, the way he get
- 58:27Speaker 1: guys to play hard on special team. He could, in
- 58:29Speaker 1: my opinion, he could be a head coach. But to
- 58:31Speaker 1: see him doing the Friday tape, it was like, what
- 58:35Speaker 1: the hell you know, why is maybe not the head
- 58:38Speaker 1: coach doing it? Or why is you know someone else
- 58:41Speaker 1: that could Bone not he open the special team, Like
- 58:46Speaker 1: I'm not expecting our special team coordinated to do the
- 58:48Speaker 1: Friday tape.
- 58:49Speaker 5: Which he'd be surprised. It's not like every any every
- 58:52Speaker 5: head coach I played for it like it's Raves had
- 58:55Speaker 5: has had this certain style about him that's been different
- 58:57Speaker 5: from all the other head.
- 58:58Speaker 1: And I'm not saying it was a bad thing, which
- 59:01Speaker 1: I said, Bones do the hell of a job of knowing,
- 59:03Speaker 1: like giving us a couple of situation, but it's like,
- 59:06Speaker 1: you know, I feel like because our team was so
- 59:08Speaker 1: young and like we're talking about Okay, let's go to
- 59:13Speaker 1: the offense side with our defenside and play defense, We're
- 59:16Speaker 1: talking about a certain situation and game. Do Bones really
- 59:20Speaker 1: have the full attention of our young dvs. That's my thing.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Like you know, I'm not saying and I said for me,
- 59:28Speaker 1: like I'm I'm locked. I'm sitting in the front row.
- 59:30Speaker 1: I see never changed. I'm sitting in the front row.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I'm listening to bones. I'm locked in to the situation.
- 59:35Speaker 1: But also, do you got the guys in the back
- 59:38Speaker 1: who's a rookie that we're depending on right now? Are
- 59:40Speaker 1: he really locked into the situation? They? I mean, are
- 59:44Speaker 1: we gonna quiz these guys or you're gonna ask them?
- 59:47Speaker 1: What's rabs? What situation is this? He used to point
- 59:50Speaker 1: call guys, what situation we have?
- 59:53Speaker 2: Like a whole like he pulled something on the screen
- 59:56Speaker 2: and everybody would stare at the screen, like what situation
- 59:58Speaker 2: is this? Because if he calls me, I don't want dumbing.
- 1:00:00Speaker 5: From everybody else. You'd have to know both keys. For offense,
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: you'd be at the lineman, big Jeff, what are the
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: offensive team keys?
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: He would never aspect Jeff.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: I bet he did when he was like his first year.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: He was asshole, But I was bro To this day,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: money Hook can sit beside me to this day, I
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: still take down. When the special team coordinated up there
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: giving the keys defense and offense. And I've been doing
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: that since very because I guess I'm scarred, like I
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: need I want to know every person like and then
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: also just come with being a I guess the vet
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I am like, I want to know everybody keys so
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: I can look at these things, maybe come up in
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: a game where I could be like they go to
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: red dot player just a guy who's been taking care
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: of me, not taking care of him. So I still leader.
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: You're able to speak on that if you do check
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: somebody that's kind of like out of your whether it
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: is special teams or out of your position, and then
- 1:00:56Speaker 5: you're coming kind of correct with Hey, I listen to
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: the same stuff you do, and I don't really need
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: to know this stuff.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: That's why that's the reason why I do it too.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I want because I mean I get guys like a
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: couple of guys, especially young guys, like can I see
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: your notes right quick? What did you write down? And
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: then like they see me write down all because it's
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: at the top all three phases of the keys, and
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: then now like I take hell of notes. I mean,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not the guy when it comes down
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: to film because you know, I get guys ask me
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: what type of how much film I watch? After Wednesday,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: it's really cut off. Like Monday through Wednesday, I watch
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: hell of tape because of course Wednesdays, Wednesday nights is
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: third Down. Let me look at third Down. I mean,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not finna go watch and see how
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: this guy blocking me? Like how is he an outside
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: hand punch? Yes, I see that. But every time I
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: get into a damn game, I'm getting a slide, I'm
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: getting trap, trap pass, I'm getting all these different blocks.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: So it's like, I'm not crazy overwatching tape. But when
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I take my notes, especially getting all the information throughout
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: the week, it's a lot of notes.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: What was hands operations? So just show people that are listening,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Like Vrabel Monday, we'd all watched and correct the film.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Wednesday he'd come in with the with the keys, keys
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: the victory from an offensive, defensive, special team standpoint. He
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: would hammer everybody that. When he came in Thursday, it
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: was basically when we're doing a pop quiz on everything
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: went over Wednesday, you do third Down on Thursday, Friday's
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: red zone and the whole time. Yeah, in two minutes,
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: the whole time. He's peppering you on the keys to
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: win the game, the entire time, from Callahan's Monday to
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: the game the night before, Like what was his process
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: of how he got you guys ready.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: We're the same almost the same thing Monday, you know,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: of course, come in and have the team meeting and
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: then you go and break it up. And of course
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say too much too minute as you
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: and it wasn't that like I feel like with all
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: those the only the guy who really did all that
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: was the nark. And we'll get to the defense side.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: But then, I mean Callahan will more of like you know,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: this why we lost the game? Man, same thing with
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: kind of with McCay's kind of the same operation, like
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: this how we lost the game. Showed a couple of plays.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Sometimes we didn't show no plays. I don't think it
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: was the time that we walked in there. He didn't
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: show no plays. You know, sometime they did, they showed play,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: sometime they didn't.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Like yeah, like, man, you had that thinks popping up.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Like hopefully I don't be on his tape for loafing
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: or something exactly. But in Tuesday, normally off day then
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: you know, Wednesday is the same thing. You come in
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: and get the keys. It's not an everyday thing to
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: where in the past Fraber did it his way. He
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: gave all the keys for every every phase. Maybe all
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: d line coach come get a defensive keys, maybe a
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: different receiver our receiver coach come get the offensive keys
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: bones and Stu, which is a Stuart is the you know,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: assistant coach, especially in coach. Maybe he do the keys
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: one day and that's how it was with the keys,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Like no one the head coach didn't do it every
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: single time. Every coach gave different and then the rest
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: of the week pretty much the same thing. I mean,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I was wanted two more, two minutes more than we
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: did it. You know, two minutes wasn't a big thing
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: that we did. I mean, which we didn't really get
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: to two minutes like a lot this past season. But
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: I still feel like in the situation like situation football,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I feel like it's very needed doing practice, no matter
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: when you do it. I think Callahan, did you know
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: when we had our captain meeting and we kind of
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: talked about it a little bit, and I was one
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: of the guys said, I think we should do two minutes.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: You know, we started doing it, and then it's kind
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: of I think doing training camp, we started doing it
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: a little bit, and then later in more early in
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: the season, right before he got fired. That's when I
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: think we kind of started to pull back. We'll do
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: it one week and not do it next week. And
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I think maybe it's go to some guys saying their
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: body may be a little know, tired or still sore
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: because we didn't do it on Fridays. You know, we
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: try to do it on Fridays, but I guess they
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: didn't like how practice lasted a little longer, so that
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: was a decision they kind of took out. It took
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: out the two minutes, but the week stayed the same.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: I mean the night before the games, we mean, y'all
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: saw like the Premo videos, and I think that's all
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: that was cool because especially when you knew the type
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: of message that was trying to get across, you know,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: some of them was like, okay, you know, let me
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: figure this out, like like what is the message? But
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: when you got guys like Primo that story shure, y'all.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: I don't know if y'all saw it or not to
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: where basically it was just a teamwork that if one
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: person off flying the jet there was flying, the whole
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: thing screwed up. And I ended up getting that message
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: pretty fast because I'm like, all right, it makes sense.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: We all need to pull together and do this together.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: But side of that, bro, we didn't do the know how.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: We used to be able to have to be at
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: the stadium and meeting in our rooms. We didn't do that.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Everybody just had to be in the stadium at a
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: certain time, but never never just got together right before
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: the game.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: When you guys are the season is going the way
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: it is. You just had a little juice at the
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: end of the year. But like when you're in the middle,
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: like late October, and you're like, fuck man once again,
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: like this is another season. We're not making the playoffs.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: And you peer over in the AFC and you see
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Rabel and the Patriots doing what they're doing, like you
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: and Hook and whoever else has been around Verbel. I
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: don't even know if there's anybody else in that team, are
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: you guys kind of like, man, look at this motherfucker,
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: and what are you doing with this squad?
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I mean, it's that's the nature that's the nature. I'm no,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: I didn't do that because that's that's yeah, yeah, I did.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: We talked about it in the locker room, guys on
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: and Key being around them. Yeah, you know Morgan, these
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: guys was in the locker of course, Morgan not gonna
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: come over and say it, but you know, guys, they're
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: gonna speak their mind like damn like this, like what
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: if we could be in that situation right now. But
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: that's also like I said, it's I mean, props are
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: very you know when you when you're talking to guys
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: that played for the Patriots and you see the interviews,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: you watching them play like you know, I mean they
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: got every coach that was pretty much was in Tennessee.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: When you turn on on the games, you look on
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: the sideline, I got pretty much everybody over there. And
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: then when you when you're watching them play, like that's
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: verbal style of the way he get his guy to play,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and I think that's that's a testament to him and
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: to get guys like I mean, we saw all the
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: crazy stuff about Stephan and Diggs in the past. Oh
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: he's a diva, he did and that now one time
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: have we heard that in New England.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: Yeah, he's just putting licking emojis on Instagram. He's just
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: having fun off the field.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: With you.
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: But I'm just saying that you've seen this style that
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: we've understood to be. You see him as a guy
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: who is clearly like all the way bought into every
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: thing playing football.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Yeah that's my point. And I'm just like, and I
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: never said that to nobody, like, but today I'm like,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: no one. We always see that when guys on the
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: other like I said with step fund It, but when
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: you turn on that the game keep I keep wanting
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: to say, tape when you turn on the TV and
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: see these guys players, like damn, just what if you
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: know it's not one of the things where no, I
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: do not want to go to New England like they
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: can have I want to go to I guarantee he
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: ready to tweet that. You know, I'm not saying I
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: want to go to New England. But it's fun to
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: see because that's what I know, Like I know the
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: type of study player, and that's what you know. It's
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: exciting to see like no heat against them.
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: When did you know that you guys are gonna When
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: did you start to feel that we're about to have
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: another one of these years. Obviously Cali got fired early,
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: but how early in the season were you like, I.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Feel like, once we want, we end up going like
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I think it was like at a point it was
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: after the the Raiders game because I'm like, that's no
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: way we just lost to this team. We shouldn't never
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: lost this game. And it's just like because like even
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: the Arizona game, I'm like, what are we doing? Like
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I don't get me wrong, like teams got good and
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: it's not like when we look at our roster, maybe
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: our roster not better. But when you turn on the
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: tape and you watching these teams, you're like, we should
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: not lose to this team, Arizona and the Raiders them
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: early games, I'm like, we should not lose to these team.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: So I'm watching it and I'm doing doing the Arizona game,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: I'm like, what are we doing? And everybody you know,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: I don't even I was happy to say, hell, we
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: won that game, but when you go turn on that tape,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: he was like, what are we.
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: Like, it shouldn't even been close.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: It's like, bro, And then it's just like just imagine
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: because I mean, the guy running out that broke the
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: big run. And because I'm talking about fus as defense,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: like I'm watching this, I'm like, we are playing like shit.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Yes we made a couple of good players in that game,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: but the stuff that we are doing is just uncharacteristic
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: of our defense. The big run, like see that big
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: split in all defense and you see this running back
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: running eighty yard nfield and just so happened funer the
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: football in the zone. It's not like we did something magic.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: He fum of the football. They called an interception and
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: fun of the football and we recovered in in zone.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: So it's like things like that to like, man, I'm like,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: this is the type of season were about to have.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: And then when we went to Vegas and lost to Vegas,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: I'm like, all right, all right. I'm like, all right, Jeff,
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: let's just play your best ball, Like whatever you do
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: is your femi, your resume. Go out there and play
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: as hard as you can and try to keep his
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: team together, because I mean, we felt it.
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Like people people are so critical about like these athletes
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: are making so much money, they should feel fine whether
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: we're winning or losing. But there is something to be
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: said about when you're halfway through the season. You can't
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: see the start and definitely can't see the end, but
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: you know it's over. Like you understand, like we're not
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: a team that's gonna be able to compete.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: Want to.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: It takes to be like I have to figure out
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: some sort of why to get this done, especially when
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: it's a cat like you who first three years you're
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: in the playoffs, you're making deep runs in the playoffs.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: You're the one season in the playoffs. Going from that
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: to not making the playoffs at all, that's hard.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I don't know why people, I mean, of course they
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: on the outside are looking at it. It's like, I'll
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: just lose these games, get us some draft feel, to
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: get us have a draft pick, Like, Bro, I don't
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: want to hear this shit right now. I don't care
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: about draft pick. I want to win football game. But
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: then you get out there and you just like what Bro.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Then you get in and then you can come back
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: and watch tape though, and he was like, only if
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: we do our jobs, because you come we come in
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: the defensive meeting room. Bro, it's a lot of games. Yes,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: you know, I tried not to worry about the offense. Yes,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: we were struggling earlier in the season. Again they started
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: figuring out. But when you come in, you hear Thenard
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: talking and he's showing twenty five clips the explosive plays,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: and you see guys making up shit in our defense
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: and they would just do their job. And well, I'm
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: saying not Dave, because it's been some players where he
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: pointed me out. But we just did our job in
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: them games. Who knows how our season went bro And
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: that's the unstrue. Like when you when we went in
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: there in our defensive meeting and then show showed us
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: the plays that they scored on, it's just gods, just mistackles.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Guy's not doing their job.
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: What's the what's like the player culture like as the
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: season's unfolding, Because again, I know, we keep going back
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: to the comparison of the culture a variable and the
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: culture of this. But you're also on the spot too
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: to where you you came there was good vets here,
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: you became a leader in your own right. You are
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: now like the leader for the Titans, or one of
- 1:13:06Speaker 5: them anyway, And when stuff like this is happening, what
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: is it like like around the player culture? Like you
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: getting spots where you might say something every now and then,
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: but maybe the cracks were in the foundation before that
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: to where there's really no saving what's going on or
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: getting guys' heads wrapped around how serious this is, or
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: like what was the feeling throughout the season, like when
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: these moments were happening. Is it more just like you're
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: kind of sitting and be like, I'm just gonna fucking
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: these guys. You're you're not like wanting to say these
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: guys don't care. They might not get it, but I'm
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: just gonna put my head down to work.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: No, it wasn't a time that I wasn't quiet. I
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: mean that I wasn't talking. I should say loss. You know,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: lost a lot, so of course I was trying to talk.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: But even after the wins, like the one we lost,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: the one we end up winning, I forgot what game
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: it was, and you know, I think it was the
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Cleveland game. And at the moment, you know, can War
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: kind of pissed. You know, I'm sure y'all saw that,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: like he was like, you know, it wasn't good enough.
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: Oh yeah, when he was getting.
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: And I understand I understood it later because when you
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: turn on the tape, he didn't play the way he
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: wanted to play. And as a team another game to
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: where they got good players males Garrett, but we eliminated
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: him that game. We should have did way more in
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: the game in his opinion, But the same thing early
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: in the season to where to where, and I go
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: back to when you turn on the tape, God just
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: not doing their job. And so when I when I
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: speak and when I was speaking in the and to
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: the team, it wasn't trying to attack guys. And I
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: think that's what the hardest part about about leading. You
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: guys have been in the locker room. I think the
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: hardest part about leading is how can I get through
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: certain guys because I know if I say certain things
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: to if I say certain thing, this guy gonna think
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: I'm talking about him directly and he gonna try to
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: I guess like he's going emotionally. And that was the
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: hardest part for me, especially the last two years. Like
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: the court this year was way better, but like even
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: last year, caller first year and everything because his way,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: like the way Kali wanted to lead and the way
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: he was leading, it wasn't so much of like I'm
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: finna be hard on your ass like like this this
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: is like for real, like you know, the hard truth.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Sometimes I think and I think we was.
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: Trying to build on good moments and.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Yeah it's like no, hell no, I mean and I
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: remember and me and I'm sure mccordon Miami sharing is like,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: you know, it was one game, we end up losing
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: the game, and I was pissed the comments that was
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: in the locker room a little bit, and because I think, yes,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: TP was having like a rough year, and you know,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I think he ended up breaking. You know, he had
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: a good game to where I mean, we had good game.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I don't think we had one hundred rushing yards, but yeah,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: And there was one of them games to where they
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: was kind of congratulating some guys in the locker room.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: I'm like, what the fuck are we talking about? Like
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: we just got beat and we didn't have over one
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: hundred rushing yards, but were congratulating certain guys and the
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: old line, what do we do? We didn't have a
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: hundred your rushing yards but were okay with okay things.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: We're not okay with great and like the good Then
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: the next week we'd come back and rush for almost
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: two hundred yards or whatever. May be that's what you're
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: supposed to congratulate. I feel like when you, when you
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: the standards is here, then the guys around gonna be
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: okay with that. And for me, it was more how
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: can I not let guys be comfortable? How can I
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: not let guys be okay with being okay? Because I
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: want to win football games and just being okay, you
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: want win football games? The lead everything got to be
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: up here, like the standards got to be high. You
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: got to hold your yourself to a higher standard. And
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: I feel like that's what that was my thing as
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: a leader, because yeah, I was. I was. At some
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: points it was just like, all right, I can't certain
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: certain things. But at some point it's just like I'm
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: tired of being a nice guy. I'm tired of saying
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: certain things that guys want to hear because the hard
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: truth is sometimes the best thing to saying. We're grown man.
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: If you take things personal in the locker room, then
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I don't know what day like this is a grown
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: man's sport. Like I said, sometimes you got to know
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: how to lead and get to certain guys. But I
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: mean when y'all came in the league, y'all vets didn't
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: talk to y'all nice. I'm sure like everybody would talking
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: about like like you gotta you gotta know how to
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: do it. But it's also one of the things to
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: where like I said, I was asking for advice, I
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: was I'm calling my uncle, I'm calling guys that he
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: played the markers were like, I'm asking him, how can
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I get, you know, through certain guys. How can I
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: talk to these guys to.
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: How can I get the message?
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Yeah? And he of course, like I got some great
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: points from him, and it helped me a lot as
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: a leader this past year. So and but I think
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: that was a long answer to answer your question. The
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: locker room itself never split. We had moments. We had
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: moments to where maybe I did say something and offensive
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: lineman may got mad, or maybe I did say something
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: that you know, somebody on the back end didn't like
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: at the time. But I would say as a locker room,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: we never kind of started splitting, as to maybe the
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: media maybe saying something like, oh see if they gonna
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: lose the locker room. Because I'm a big I'm a
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: big believer leadership is from within. We could keep this
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: locker room together. Guys could keep the locker room together
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: no matter what what we're going through in the season.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: We could. That's the reason why you know, we're doing
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: things out throughout the season. Let's have a Halloween something's
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: let's do something right here. Let's make sure like after
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: the season, you know, I wanted to do something for
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: the whole team. I invited the whole team, did like
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: a private party just for the team. Like y'all understand that.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: You know, yes, this was a hard season, but we stood.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: We stood together, we stuck together, and we made it through.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: You know, we wasn't a good season. We made it through.
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's one of the hard things about being I'm
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: assuming a head coach that comes in a little lighter
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: footed than Rabel was. Because what Rabel was able to
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: do in like twenty eighteen, when he first came in,
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: there was a lot of criticism onlike, yo, he is
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: an asshole. This guy is difficult to be around. But
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: as success started to happen, he would let off the
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: rains a little bit and allow guys to be who
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: they are. So when that that standard you had ever wavered,
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: Rabel could easily go back to this and it's like well,
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: that's the verbel. We understand what his standard is because
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: he's shown the hard part earlier. We can get right
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: back to that. From Callahan's it sounds like Callan came
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: in a little lighter, happy to be around. Look at
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: of us, Kumbai, y'aw, hey, look at all the good
- 1:20:07Speaker 2: things we didn't even though we lost. And then when
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: it really comes crunch down, it's like we're spiraling. If
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: he went and was hard on the guys all of
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: a sudden, that's when you lose a locker room completely.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: So it's almost better to be extremely critical of your players,
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: break them down, foundationally, build them back up, and then
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: be able to be their friends a coach.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: You know, like I said, it's no knock like we're
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: knocking cal I love Callahan, like I takes Calaham like
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: right now, like you know here respond But it just
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: when you're talking about the NFL, he saw with the
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: this morning with the with Buffalo with Buffalo, Like, I'm
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: sure that guy's a great leader. He's I'm sure he hardest,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: heals on the players, he loved his players. But this
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: lead is about winning. You don't win football games you
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: don't get the teams to where they need to be
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: an amount of time you're gone, so to the nice.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Being nice is not the way this thing is gonna work.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: You have to set your foundation. You have to have
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: a strong set foundation.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: What was Callahan's demeanor early this year, like before the firing?
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: Did it?
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: Did you see a change coming? You're like, oh, he
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: kind of knows or was it the same guy?
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Nah? I was that one thing Keli didn't do. He
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: didn't from the game we lost to I think because
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: he was still there when we won against Arizona, Like
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: up until that point, you didn't feel nothing, like I didn't.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: I was surprised. I didn't know that was going to
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: make that move. I mean you kept like, of course,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: been on social media. You see certain things and you
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: read it and all the tweets this and that. But
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: week six, like I didn't respect I met my daughter
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: gymnastic like gym nasty, and I get a phone call
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: to you know, talking about this and I'm like what
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the hell, Like this really just happened, and I'm like wow.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: But like I said, I didn't I didn't expect that
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: to happen that early, you know, even if because I
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: didn't know it was gonna happen, I should say, but
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: I didn't sure didn't expect it to happen earlier.
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: Yeah, but what was it like with the transitions coach
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: McCoy him stepping in.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: I mean it was McCoy did change some things up.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: I mean, I'm sure you guys saw what the practice
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: temple guys been. The guys were talking about throughout the season.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: He did want to temple, you know how. You know,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: I remember when he first came into the captain meaning,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: he was like, one big thing I want to change
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: is you know, especially when you guys on defense and
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: the scout team break the huddle, you got receivers breaking
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: the hudder before the whole hodder. Like, he was like,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: that's one big thing. He like, were cutting that shit out, Like,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: you know, he was like, I want things to be ran.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: I want temple and practice to get up. And you
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: know the way he you know, I would give him
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: his proper you know, he he did a hell of
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: a job of also keeping his team together also you know,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: making it you know, I mean, he knew what is
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I guess we might have been in this league for
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: a while now, he knew what kind of expect especially
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: throughout the coaching change and how maybe the locker room
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: would maybe react. I want to say he did a
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: hell of a job of keeping us together. You know,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: he was you know, he made sure he met with
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: the captains, He came, he came, He was coming to
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: me a lot, like you know, it's anything we need
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: to do it? Do I need to change anything? You know,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: ask captains do they have anything? Were coming too? The
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: captain means on Wednesday, do y'all have anything? What can
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: I do better? So he was doing the hell of
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: a job. And then in the transition as a head coaches,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: it's just about leading the football team. And I think,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you know, he stepped in and did his job, and
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: he did a hell of a job at it. And
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: like I said, yes, do we wish we could have
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: won more games? And yes, but I think in his
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: position and the way he stepped in and filled that role,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: I think it was unbelievable to see. You know, a
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: lot of people may wanted somebody else at that spot,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: as I say, when you read them things like you know,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: why not denoy it? Why not bones? But I think
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: them guys were able to do their job and you know,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: not have a hiccup and they might stepped in and
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: did a good job.

- 1:27:02Speaker 2: When we're we're sitting here now and there's no head
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: coach for the Titans. You, uh, your guarantee is almost
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: up all the way up somewhat up. There's a there's
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: a level there. Yeah, but there's ten head coaching vacancies
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: right now. There's a lot of names being thrown around.
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: When you see those names, like what sparks your interests?
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: Is it a defensive mind head coach and you're like, hey,
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: we've seen a good DC or do you think an
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: offensive minor head coach? Like if you're if you're Jeffrey
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: Simmons and you're owning the Tennessee Titans and you see
- 1:27:27Speaker 2: what the holes are, what is your thought process?
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: I mean I feel like with a what a defensive
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: head coach? I mean Very was it? You can say
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: Very was everything because he sway he could go over
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: there and coach you damn quarterback.
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: He came in the offensive line room like he would.
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: We would come in our room and Keith Carter would
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: be telling us, don't do this on your technique, on
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: the backside of gaps, game, don't pass set, none of that,
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: and everybody would walk in five minutes later. But hey,
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: on the backside of gaps game, Like why don't you
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: guys just like.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Pass that the field?
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: It was always Rabel can't coach everybody in Rabel's.
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Mind, But I would say just you know, because when
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: you're talking about because it's it's gonna be a lot
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: of it's a lot of coaches available. I mean, especially
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: when you see the interviews and you see some of
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: the guys that they interview, you see like, okay, these
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: guys is they got a good resume. But for me,
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: as a defensive player, I was love a defensive head coach,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: you know, but he being a you know, the player
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: I am, whoever come in, I just want to win
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: football game. Can we get a guy who was a winner,
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: a guy who could come in and set a great
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: foundation and a great culture and get your thing back
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: to win the football games. But of course, you know,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: I would love the defensive head coach because especially if
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: he's a defensive front guy. You know, if he let
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: his defensive front gone not a D line, not a
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: D line coach.
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: As wants to wants a defensive coach that a lots
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: of defense line to do whatever they want to figure
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: out it up. You just go you guys. Just let
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: these boys go.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: Man, listen you okay, We're just talking about guys that interview, Like,
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: I mean that's available from the d C from the
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: forty Niners. You got you got the d C from
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: the Broncos, right, I.
- 1:29:19Speaker 5: Mean Vikings with Brian Florida.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: You look at the halfway look at the defense that
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: we the guys that's available in that interviewing right now,
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: their defense is led up front. But like if you
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: can rush four to five, my my my thing is
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: rush five. Give me some one on one. The Broncos
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: it's hard to block them up front because they rushing five.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: THEMN there every snap. And it's just like when you
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: when you get guys like that that can let their front.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: Because I feel like when you when you playing defense
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: and when you try to go so much of scheme
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: versus players ain't gonna be good. I feel like when
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: you let your best players, like all strengths was all
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: defensive front, this passion like we can say what it
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: won't but all strength from me sweat. You got the
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: guys up front when we played all best ball, it
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: was because the defensive line had a great game. Yes,
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: we get some you know, maybe an interception here there
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: or whatever on the back end, But what's causing them interception?
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: And I feel like when you let your d line
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: go and eat and maybe rush five and now they
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: got a five. Oh offensive line hate five, especially centers
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: because they can't. The worst athletes on the all line.
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: That's just what it is.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: Everybody's one on one. You're not getting help anywhere is
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: terrified you put.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: Your put your worst put me over the center on
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: third down one on one. They not blocking me. So
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: it's like, whoever give me a one on one line
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: of my up against Taylor one on one?
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: That's fine, but well, you know what pisses me off
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: is when like Chris Jones will line up on the
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: end sometimes and I watched these tackles like vertical set you.
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: I'm thinking, bro, what the fuck are you thinking? Like
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: anytime Chris Jones are a big guy who would come
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: up and be like, oh, we're playing basketball. There's no
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: way I'm gonna allow you to just have a running
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: start at my.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: Face fast wipe though. You know, if I know you
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: jumped me, what if I fast wipe, but inside moves.
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: Buddy, I'll take that over me. Just backing up, and
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: you mean like.
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: I didn't do that.
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: I mean, when you do the guards, I'm thinking to myself,
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: Jesus Christ.
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: I mean I was to your point because I trained
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: with Trent Brown, like I see this type of sets,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: he dude, And I mean he missed it up on
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: me one time when we're doing get off in one
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: on ones, not full speed in all season, but when
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: playing into Texans, and I told Art and switched with
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: me because I'm like, I'm just keeping the side, keeping
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: the side. And it was a play that I'm like,
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: switch with me. But I'm like, oh fuck Trent big As.
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: It was like the play that I went, I end
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: up switch. I'm like TP. But when I got off
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: the ball, I saw he set me. Then I saw
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: him trying to punch me. I swiped his hand and
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: got the sack. I'm like, you know, like this is
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: this is fun to be on the edge, Like I
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: could do this, I could play on it, I could
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: get off maybe on some something. I'm not ever down
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: God to be out there on the edge, but now
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: I could have the freedom to move around. But and
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: then on that play, it was a play they had
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: to five O. So now the running back not on
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: my side. I'm not getting chipped a tight end out
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: of the core. Got one on one with one of
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: the biggest month, probably the biggest. But yeah, man, I
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: just hopefully we can get somebody here and just defense,
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: defensive coach.
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: Defensive coach.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: Want to guess what? You go get your guess what
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: I ain't taking. I know Cam Cam, especially with Cam
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: in the quarterback, he may want the offensive guy, but
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: offensive guy, but it's a lot of it's a lot
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: of good coordinator. Is that offensive coaches that May he
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: got just got fired and May won't get ahead coaching job. Now,
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: just go off him a nice contract to be the
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: O C.
- 1:33:09Speaker 5: That's the like kind of secret right because that's what
- 1:33:11Speaker 5: raves just guy with McDaniel, it's like that's dude, that's
- 1:33:14Speaker 5: been like the secret ingredient with Drake May.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: That's my point.
- 1:33:16Speaker 5: You kind of need you need that situation. You don't
- 1:33:19Speaker 5: need an up and come ROAs.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: You got to be there for a year. Get ahead,
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: you got you gotta you gotta get you a like
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: somebody who could lock in with that. We could get
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Cam rollon because I mean, we get a defensive head coach.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: You can't go get will to come call it down
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: and coach Cam up. I'm sure verbe over there thinking,
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: I'm sure he probably over there trying to act like
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: he coaching Drake up and it's McDaniel probably, so.
- 1:33:44Speaker 5: You don't he won't say nothing. He'll take the credit.
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: Was in a unique place because his o C, who's
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: been so great, he's already had two stints as a
- 1:33:53Speaker 2: head coach and they've gone horrible. So he's this, he's
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: now like put himself in like he will always being
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: OC from here on out unless something unforeseen happens. So
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: Rave is in a great spot with that defensive amount
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: of guy in OC that's never going to go anywhere
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: because anytime you have offensive success in a big way,
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: that that guy's gone. He's either what you're looking for
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: is I think what Jack brought up, which is a
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: beautiful dream to have, which is Robert Sola as your
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: head coach and Mike McDaniels. You're o C.
- 1:34:23Speaker 5: That's gonna start picking them on, just start.
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: Yeah, there's ten hood coaching vacancies, but let me get
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: two of the top dogs and put him on one team.
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: Put the names in the hat.
- 1:34:31Speaker 2: Yeah, put the name in the hat.
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: I can't. I can't say that right now, but yeah,
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: I don't sound like a bad coaching.
- 1:34:39Speaker 5: It's not a bad nick combo right there, right. How
- 1:34:42Speaker 5: how's the relationship with Cam?
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: It's good man. We you know, of course, my first
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: time now y'all talk ship. Yeah, that's part of it.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: I feel like that's part of my first time me
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: and Cam. We had like the lid I think with
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: d Hop was that d Hop. I think d Hop,
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: even though he was here actually on the team, he
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: had like a I think it was like a get
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: together or birthday. I think it was a birthday party.
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: And of course, like we all came, it was right
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: before OTA's mandatory many camp it was, and I remember
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: seeing Cam and he came in and you know, of
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: course we introduced. That's my first time meeting him, and
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: that was that was in June and I saw him
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: and from that point from that time, when I walked
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: up to camp and we were talking, we started talking
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: shit instantly. It was like because I heard I was like,
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: I heard you been talking to hell shit and I
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: heard you been you know, having fun with the list
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: seven or seven or whatever y'all been doing. And he
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: was like, yeah, I'm a slight shallow as up too.
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: He said, you'll see, and I'm like, okay, this is
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: what it is. Huh. And then from that point I
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: can't remember exactly what we're saying about. Of course I
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: started talking shit to him, and then you know, we
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: get to training camp and it was the same thing.
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: I think, even with the stuff that was on social
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: media and they're talking about the fight, it wasn't. It
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: was literally you know, it was a rough day. It
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: was a rough day for the offense. They started off
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: kind of slow and we was out. You know, men,
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: I talk of hell of shit, like I'm it's just
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: not just in the game. This is to my teammate,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: just at practice and we talked of hell of smack
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: and we was in the red zone. It was a
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: day before. The day before, we beat the hell out
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: of the offense because Donor he had this system to
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: where we're Italian every single play did we lose or
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: win this play, and we was killing the offense. We
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: were killing the offense and like we was kicking the ass.
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: But the next day it was red zone and you know,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: we started out good whatever because we do do the
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: inside runs and we brought that back the inside run,
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: so we shut that down. Next period seven or seven whatever,
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: then we get the red zone and you know me
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: that we stopped him. I'm talking ship to camp. The
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: next play he fucking threw a touchdown to rid and
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: back of the one, I think, and I'm like, fuck,
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: I'm like, he come and so he's came to me
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: talking ship and he you know, of course at that point,
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: I'm pissed. I'm like, what are we doing? We just
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: gave up a touchdown like it's I think because I
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: think it was actually Mood and Field. Maybe it was
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: Mood and Field. I think it was MOODI Field wasn't
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: actually re zone, but we was moving the field and
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: they got in the rezone and scored, and I'm like,
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: what are we doing? Dv's like now I got to
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: hear this mother man he got and he did that ship.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: I'm like that made me even I'm like, I'm pissed
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: for real now. So then he came. He came up
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: to me and kind of like gave me a shove,
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: and it was like, did this motherfucker just push me
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: like that? Well, I'm already pissed off, So it was
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: like a reaction, not of like let me beat his ass,
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: but it was like reaction to.
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: Like another man put his hands on Like it wasn't
- 1:37:47Speaker 2: even that.
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: It was more like in the heat of the moment
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: to beat but then it wasn't noring, but like I
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: kind of pushed him, but it the ophensive lineman and
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: he come to miss the bad asses, like all the
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: whole linemen. They're trying to protake the quarterback. Here they go.
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: So I'm like, then that's that's when they started pushing.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: I'm starting and grabbed. I forgot who I grab and
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: I'm it's kind of just like a pushing shove. It
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: wasn't no punches, got thrown to nothing. But that's all
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: started because of course Cam doing his damn celebration and
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: he kind of bumped me.
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: It was like, hold on, he kind of bump you
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: or did he push you?
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: It was it was more like a you know, like
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: talking about ship. It wasn't like a mean push.
- 1:38:34Speaker 5: I can't beat him up, ship.
- 1:38:36Speaker 2: I heard that.
- 1:38:38Speaker 5: Can't put his hands on him, and he came off
- 1:38:41Speaker 5: shoved him.
- 1:38:41Speaker 2: I can't beat his ass, and then Buck Rising was like,
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: fuck you, Jeff Sivens.
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: He beat your.
- 1:38:48Speaker 10: Ass, cam Man, he's feeling that great.
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: How is your leadership have developed from on the field
- 1:39:02Speaker 2: antics to the locker room?
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: Do you bring it to the locker room with the
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: smack talk to it with people? No, no, no, I
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: see I don't for me because I didn't mean offense alignments.
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: Like we we go at it. Man, I feel like
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: linebackers or whatever, they do their drills and maybe they
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: got seven on seven. When we start hitting each other
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: one on one, it's kind of but it's the truth.
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: We go from individuals. We all know. It's like we
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: always moving, and then we go straight to one one.
- 1:39:34Speaker 5: On the snap we go.
- 1:39:37Speaker 2: I've seen your individuals. You over there, that big T
- 1:39:43Speaker 2: dying over there. Sorry you should. This man is taking
- 1:39:49Speaker 2: a Knee's not that bad.
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: Don't say I be. I'm not saying I'll be dead individual,
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: but I'm saying from when we go straight to we
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: go to straight to one on ones, then we go
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: to the inside run, then we go to teams. It's
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: like from that point on it some player, the linebackers
- 1:40:09Speaker 1: or quarterbacks or receiver, they might not even get touched,
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: but it's like a long day of the backfield. Well,
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: we didn't leave you on no damn running back. But
- 1:40:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying, like the temper is gonna flare, like
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: it's gonna happen. But then it's like after practice is
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: made hell. Sometimes Calu may have me break it down
- 1:40:33Speaker 1: on purpose to where I'm like, you know, ship, like
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: this is gonna happen when we walk out this football field.
- 1:40:39Speaker 1: You know, it's still the brotherhood. It's still that's the
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: reason why we play the game. But now because we
- 1:40:44Speaker 1: are teammates, we are we're trying to win the football game,
- 1:40:48Speaker 1: and we're working to win the football games. So I
- 1:40:51Speaker 1: wasn't I'm not a guy that if I get into
- 1:40:54Speaker 1: it with Tony Pollard on the football field, not Finn
- 1:40:58Speaker 1: could bring it into the locker room and be like,
- 1:40:59Speaker 1: you know, like I want to really fight you, because
- 1:41:03Speaker 1: I mean, what is gonna get me.
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you a hypothetical. Let's say you're in
- 1:41:07Speaker 2: the middle of dog days in camp. It's mid August, right,
- 1:41:10Speaker 2: there's a two minute drill taking place. You guys run
- 1:41:12Speaker 2: to zone, blitz the right side. The left tackle pads pads.
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: Left tackle kind of gives you a bank on the hip.
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: You go flying left tackle runs down the field, you
- 1:41:21Speaker 2: chasing him and trying to fight him or no.
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: It depends what if I'm tired.
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: After that play, if I'm doing the locker room and
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: standing over him trying to fight him.
- 1:41:34Speaker 1: Listen, because I don't know where you're trying to get
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: at right now.
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: You don't know what I'm trying to get at.
- 1:41:38Speaker 1: No, but sounds like.
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: That, Oh, this is, this is We have to be
- 1:41:44Speaker 2: worried about Jeff's mental health if he's not remembering the situation.
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: Listen, it had to be some other ship leading up
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: to it, because it's not just gonna be one play
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: that gonna make because I'm I mean, shit happened. But
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: I really realize. I think that play that you bringing
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: back up that happened a couple of years ago. It's
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: crazy that you can remember that and not that damn
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: gold necklace.
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: But.
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: The fact that the fact that you brought that up
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: that day, now that I'm thinking about the ship started
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: individual and and uh team seven or seven to one
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: on ones. It started back there. You remember that we
- 1:42:19Speaker 1: got into it and doing one on one. So I
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: beat Rogers Southfold. I beat Roger south Fold.
- 1:42:26Speaker 2: He remembers the situation.
- 1:42:27Speaker 1: I remember I beat Roger south Fold and he was like,
- 1:42:31Speaker 1: let me get another rep. He said, back back on
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: the line. Whatever, y'all know how the old lineman get
- 1:42:35Speaker 1: beat so fat they want to get a new reps.
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: They do, something happens a defensive lived up on that
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: slot of scripture won't run back.
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: Said let's get another rep. Like you know me, I'm
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: at that point, I'm hype. I'm I'm still a young
- 1:42:48Speaker 1: boy at that point. Year two whatever, I'm going in
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: to Rogers Southold, No year one, what's it one or two?
- 1:42:54Speaker 2: This is what this is gonna be, like twenty.
- 1:42:55Speaker 1: I think it's year two, year two whatever, And I'm
- 1:42:58Speaker 1: you know, I'm hype and said, I'm like right here,
- 1:43:01Speaker 1: Rogers forever name. That's when I'm going against these guys.
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm going to get some good ass guys.
- 1:43:06Speaker 1: But when I'm not doing all that, you're trying.
- 1:43:09Speaker 5: To you know what I'm saying, Roger.
- 1:43:12Speaker 1: Roger. Yeah. But when I when I did, it was
- 1:43:16Speaker 1: like I just beat his ass, like you know, and
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: that was like, let's get another rep. And of course
- 1:43:21Speaker 1: his background is up here. Are you scared this? And
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: that you messed?
- 1:43:26Speaker 2: I didn't have fun. Guys can gun.
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: He wouldn't stop. And you know at that point, at
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: the point, at that point, ship we've going at it.
- 1:43:36Speaker 1: And maybe I told his ass, and I remember what
- 1:43:39Speaker 1: I said. I said, what the fuck are you making
- 1:43:42Speaker 1: all that money? You go again? I said, they overpaid
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: your ass. That's what I told you. That's crazy. He's
- 1:43:51Speaker 1: just being somebody. He's just trying to be.
- 1:44:00Speaker 5: Taylor.
- 1:44:01Speaker 1: He was talking ship that every day.
- 1:44:05Speaker 5: Every day. I want him to, Yeah, you got this
- 1:44:09Speaker 5: and you're overpaid.
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: God, he said, you mentioned somebody. He's not seeing it
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: right now.
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: You remember you saying something about the first round ship
- 1:44:19Speaker 1: And I remember after that when you said that, I
- 1:44:21Speaker 1: don't know what you said. I can't remember exactly what
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: you said. And that's when I went to the overpaid ship,
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: and I think he was. Taylor was pissed about that,
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: because one thing about Taylor after the situation, he gonna
- 1:44:34Speaker 1: let you know, like, bro, that fuck with me a
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: little bit, like you're gonna know, you're gonna know like
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: it fucked with him a little bit because his demeanor
- 1:44:41Speaker 1: like with something, Taylor, come on, is I'm lying, Well.
- 1:44:45Speaker 2: It depends on what depends how you finish the sentence
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: of demeansen depends how you finish the sentence of demeaning.
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: Your body demeanor, like when certain ship, if someone rubbed
- 1:44:53Speaker 1: you the wrong way, or I mean that's just that's
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: like if someone says something maybe like oh this mother,
- 1:44:59Speaker 1: especially a young book, I've said that to him. He
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: probably like this young motherfucker just say this to me. Probably.
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: But then we get the teams. I'm like, at this point,
- 1:45:08Speaker 1: it's like him and Roger, I'm already at this one
- 1:45:11Speaker 1: of them already like dynamic game. It's like you already
- 1:45:14Speaker 1: got to know because for one, he gonna jump the
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: fucking snap and it's like.
- 1:45:20Speaker 2: I gotta come off and yeah, and I would finish
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: a little harder. Yes, yeah, he.
- 1:45:24Speaker 1: Only did it once. You know he got you good.
- 1:45:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, he.
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: Pushed me away. I did that because it was you, Jack.
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: It's like, if I can catch this dude on the hip,
- 1:45:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna catch on the hip.
- 1:45:39Speaker 1: But most time, like if I get off and like
- 1:45:42Speaker 1: them come off on the guard and got my hand
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: in roger chests or some ship and I'm knocking back,
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: he may give you a bump and keep going get
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: the line back. But if he catch you, he like
- 1:45:53Speaker 1: trying to take you to the Forestilee line. I'm like,
- 1:45:55Speaker 1: this motherfuckerasty boy.
- 1:45:58Speaker 2: But let me you what first round thing did you
- 1:46:01Speaker 2: hit him? I can't remember. I can't remember the first
- 1:46:04Speaker 2: round thing because for me, it's like for me, it's offensive.
- 1:46:07Speaker 2: Linemen are like more quiet and more like the Ben Jones.
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: They're gonna keep you, I know. I'm saying for the
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: most part they are like this, but then I see
- 1:46:15Speaker 2: the defensive lineman at this time they have a lot
- 1:46:17Speaker 2: of rest. We are going and going going with Keith,
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: So in my head, I'm thinking, I got to bring juice.
- 1:46:23Speaker 2: So we go to one on ones. I would talk shit.
- 1:46:25Speaker 2: We go to practice and talk shit. I was always
- 1:46:26Speaker 2: a well conditioned cat, and so I would always kind
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: of like be talking crazy during practice. Drell wouldn't say
- 1:46:33Speaker 2: whole lot. And then you come and you're doing it
- 1:46:36Speaker 2: the same thing. So I'm like, oh, I'm having I
- 1:46:39Speaker 2: have somebody to banter with now, not knowing that Jeff
- 1:46:41Speaker 2: takes it personal. When you banter with Jet all right,
- 1:46:46Speaker 2: it seems like you're taking that personal. Just I do
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: not take it personal. I don't remember that that comment.
- 1:46:53Speaker 2: But as far as the Devil teams go. It depends
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: where I'm going. If it's a power I'm going to
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: the backside linebacker, so I can dig into you a
- 1:46:59Speaker 2: little bit. And if it's a duo, I'm going to
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: the front side linebacker. So I do have to get
- 1:47:02Speaker 2: off based on what they're doing. But if I can
- 1:47:04Speaker 2: dig in that hip a little.
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: Bit, Taylor, you never came no matter what fucking play,
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: whatever you were to catch me, you never came off.
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: No, that's not true. We can pop up film.
- 1:47:15Speaker 1: Taylor, if it's a play that I guarante because how
- 1:47:19Speaker 1: many how many y'all was the offense I was running.
- 1:47:22Speaker 1: It was more of a stretch anyway.
- 1:47:24Speaker 2: Yeah, but you start getting guys too lateral, then you
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: hit him with the duo, and that's when they step
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: lateral and get got there at step Definitely, not like
- 1:47:32Speaker 2: that was a very painful situation. That's why I loved
- 1:47:34Speaker 2: Roger because Roger would be able to hit you, and
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: he does all three texts, and then I could just
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: hit the hip and then Roger could handle business and
- 1:47:41Speaker 2: I can go to the linebacker. But to go back
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: to this hypothetical situation that you remember, we're at practice,
- 1:47:48Speaker 2: and I think you can correct me if I'm wrong.
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: After I'm don't telling the story. We have like a
- 1:47:52Speaker 2: good relationship, you and I. The end, the end drops,
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: you start to loop out and I kind of this.
- 1:48:00Speaker 2: I hit you, but I catch you off your center
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: of balance and you fall down.
- 1:48:05Speaker 1: I got you. Just wait?
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: Was it just like a It wasn't. I promise it
- 1:48:12Speaker 2: wasn't a malicious I guess if I if I'm in
- 1:48:13Speaker 2: a game, I'm throwing my entire body into it because
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: I know you're not it was it?
- 1:48:17Speaker 1: Was it appropriate for practice?
- 1:48:21Speaker 2: I think I caught This is what I truly believe.
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: I truly believe.
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: I caught you off balance? Okay, and you and you flew.
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: So let me ask you this. You know how RAVE
- 1:48:31Speaker 1: used to say, as a defensive line, defensive front, use
- 1:48:34Speaker 1: your hands at practicing and pick so when we was
- 1:48:37Speaker 1: running them games, if I was to come and smoke
- 1:48:40Speaker 1: my smoke you with a shower and say, oh I
- 1:48:42Speaker 1: badly touch you, would you not be pissed that I'd.
- 1:48:45Speaker 2: Be pissed at practice. And that's a great point you
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: just made. I'd be pissed at practice. So I bink,
- 1:48:52Speaker 2: I think, and I start finishing downfield. I hear some
- 1:48:56Speaker 2: huffing and puffing behind me. This dude comes up, tries
- 1:48:59Speaker 2: to swing on my ass.
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: So why did you take off running?
- 1:49:01Speaker 2: Because we have to finish the place you hold on,
- 1:49:07Speaker 2: hold on well when ball comes out. You always heard
- 1:49:10Speaker 2: Rabel and Keith and be like, you have to finish
- 1:49:11Speaker 2: two stripes, gott to finish.
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: It was you, you know, so when you oh, when
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: I turned around, I knew there was something coming after that.
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: So you come over with a mask grab We get
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: in the football fight or whatever practice ends. I'm thinking
- 1:49:26Speaker 2: to myself, we are done with practice. Things have happened,
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: it's all good. Things need to be cleared up.
- 1:49:32Speaker 5: We get in the locker.
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: What did you do when you walk in the locker room?
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: What I do when it set your sweaty ass in
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: my locker?
- 1:49:41Speaker 11: Yeah, because I know your personality, so you something like this.
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: He goes, you want to do something.
- 1:49:54Speaker 2: Called me a little end word.
- 1:49:56Speaker 1: So I'm thinking a moment. You go to your damn locker.
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: You in the fucking corner, You deep in the corner.
- 1:50:03Speaker 2: Hey, our lockers are right here and here I could,
- 1:50:07Speaker 2: but you're right.
- 1:50:08Speaker 1: You had that damn thing's standing I mean, and then
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: right there you maybe you in the corner though when
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: you walk in the locker room, you take a left,
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: you kept straight, set your sweaty. It's camp. You know,
- 1:50:20Speaker 1: he's in the office of Limb and they sweat nasty like.
- 1:50:24Speaker 2: Now, Jeff can't sweat.
- 1:50:28Speaker 1: Like you and Nate David was the worst sweat like
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: y'all sweat. Well, yeah, but you go and sit and
- 1:50:33Speaker 1: you know, as when we get dressed, we put all
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: clothes right there in all locker and he said it
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: sweaty as my locker. So I'm like, he's still on bullshit.
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: So what the fuck you.
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: Want to dude something? Guys can't have fun, So Jeff try.
- 1:50:46Speaker 2: Jeff tries to fight me. Will tries to fight me
- 1:50:48Speaker 2: right there. I'm like, bro, we're not gonna fight with teammates.
- 1:50:50Speaker 1: What we do.
- 1:50:50Speaker 2: I'm trying to have a little fun with you. I
- 1:50:52Speaker 2: walk over to my locker and you followed me, and
- 1:50:55Speaker 2: I'm getting onst I'm literally taking my cleats off. Well
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: this dude, let's go back. Let's back up.
- 1:51:01Speaker 5: So the angle of sitting on his locker.
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: Instigating for sure.
- 1:51:07Speaker 5: Okay, so you guys have an exchange.
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: You come over.
- 1:51:10Speaker 5: He calls you little end, you.
- 1:51:11Speaker 2: Know, little, Yeah, you try to do this little lesson,
- 1:51:15Speaker 2: I'll beat your little last little end. You're thinking, there's
- 1:51:17Speaker 2: a lot more ends being thrown around, and I have
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: heard it.
- 1:51:19Speaker 5: I can't.
- 1:51:21Speaker 2: I'm a little Clearly, I'm a white boy from Kate
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: freek Arizona. I'm a little I'm out of my element.
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: Clearly.
- 1:51:25Speaker 5: It's escalated to a level to where now you're just like,
- 1:51:27Speaker 5: all right, let me just remove. I'm gonna go right.
- 1:51:29Speaker 2: I need to back up because clearly I misread this situation,
- 1:51:32Speaker 2: which is not out of the Roman possibilities with me
- 1:51:34Speaker 2: at this time of my life. Even now, I'm thinking
- 1:51:37Speaker 2: to myself, he's a competitor. I'm gonna mess with him
- 1:51:41Speaker 2: when we get in the locker room. But at the
- 1:51:42Speaker 2: end of the day, like I felt like at this
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: moment we had a good relationship to be like, you know,
- 1:51:46Speaker 2: I wouldn't try to get you, get.
- 1:51:47Speaker 5: You, okay, going back and forth, you go to your
- 1:51:49Speaker 5: locker then you following following, Yeah, blocked out.
- 1:51:54Speaker 1: Yeah, probably because the part where because I mean ship,
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: I think that that play you're talking about. Of course,
- 1:52:01Speaker 1: maybe at the end of practice to where you hit
- 1:52:03Speaker 1: me whatever, and maybe the temper stilled up. But I'm
- 1:52:06Speaker 1: not finna come in the locker room to let's go
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: fight in the locker room, but to go sitting my
- 1:52:13Speaker 1: damn locker Now my fucking pants may be wet that
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: I wore in to practice that day. Like, yeah, I'm
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: pissed off at that point, Like.
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: But anyway, that's what That's what essentially took place to where,
- 1:52:26Speaker 2: like we're talking, a week goes by where I try
- 1:52:29Speaker 2: to lend the olive branch a few times. Hey, man,
- 1:52:31Speaker 2: are we trying to have it be like this forever?
- 1:52:35Speaker 1: Man?
- 1:52:35Speaker 2: Fuck you little less. I'm thinking to myself, I gotta
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: worry about being a practice this dude, I'm gonna get blunt.
- 1:52:46Speaker 5: Way.
- 1:52:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm thinking. I'm like, I'm trying to have fun
- 1:52:49Speaker 2: at practice as much as you can have fun in camp.
- 1:52:51Speaker 2: I get a bank. It literally wasn't like a malicious bank.
- 1:52:54Speaker 2: It was just I caught this man in a second graft.
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: Everyone gets gone and to the point where Jeff On
- 1:53:00Speaker 2: follows me. Jeff follows me on social media. We go
- 1:53:05Speaker 2: back a year later, shoot him a DM, Hey, I'm
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: ready to make up when you aren't.
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: No response, I don't remember the gold chain.
- 1:53:16Speaker 2: Yeah, so what happened with the gold chain? Are we
- 1:53:18Speaker 2: good now though?
- 1:53:19Speaker 1: My first couple of years, you know we're good.
- 1:53:26Speaker 5: Tell here's what we need.
- 1:53:28Speaker 2: But but when I was in Vegas, have a hug.
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: When I was in Vegas, I feel like that was
- 1:53:34Speaker 1: like a fuck you moment though, because maybe maybe maybe
- 1:53:37Speaker 1: they yeah, like last weekend, maybe maybe they did. Maybe
- 1:53:42Speaker 1: they did tell Will I mean, they did tell Taylor
- 1:53:45Speaker 1: I was over there, and he probably said don't don't
- 1:53:48Speaker 1: don't don't, like I.
- 1:53:49Speaker 9: Can promise you that there's no way I was there.
- 1:53:52Speaker 5: Jared has no clue who you are?
- 1:53:54Speaker 2: Nothing to Jared doesn't doesn't.
- 1:53:57Speaker 1: But NA go back to the gold chain as though.
- 1:54:00Speaker 5: You know he was before we get to that. Here's
- 1:54:02Speaker 5: all I think we need.
- 1:54:03Speaker 2: I'm ready to.
- 1:54:04Speaker 5: We just need both of you guys to say sorry
- 1:54:05Speaker 5: to one another. Because even when even even when you're searching,
- 1:54:08Speaker 5: like when you're like, hey, are we good, it's not hey,
- 1:54:11Speaker 5: that's my bad. You didn't say hey, that's my There
- 1:54:13Speaker 5: was never a that's my bad. I feel like all
- 1:54:15Speaker 5: this needs is for y'all to be you were, like,
- 1:54:17Speaker 5: you know, Timpers probably still flirted up from practice. I
- 1:54:19Speaker 5: wouldn't expect him to go in. It's not like all right,
- 1:54:23Speaker 5: I was still a little fired up from practice. I
- 1:54:25Speaker 5: wasn't sitting there. Hey, no, let me say one thing.
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: He's right all we need first before you say that,
- 1:54:37Speaker 1: Before you say that, I was done with this show.
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: I didn't come off to practice field, like where the
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: Taylor at? Did he not? He went to the lot,
- 1:54:45Speaker 1: So I came on the fence.
- 1:54:47Speaker 2: Made so much progress we've made, We've made practice, but
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: let's just see if we can fix this and then
- 1:54:54Speaker 2: go back. Because this man was saying something to me
- 1:54:56Speaker 2: as I was going into the practice field. We're like
- 1:54:58Speaker 2: Jordan Ruse and a couple of guys are like, yo,
- 1:55:00Speaker 2: is he good?
- 1:55:01Speaker 1: I'm like yeah, they no. I don't but them all
- 1:55:10Speaker 1: because I want to say I hate him. They always
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: his sidekick. They kissed Taylor ass everybody. I can't everything
- 1:55:20Speaker 1: Taylor did, like to the way Taylor would fucking dress.
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: And they went and got vans. They went and got
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: everybody wearing vans. Now, like, I'm like, man, get off here.
- 1:55:31Speaker 2: Bro Like we had a good off of the line,
- 1:55:33Speaker 2: good leadership.
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: In that room.
- 1:55:36Speaker 2: But Gody like whatever, hey can I tell you something,
- 1:55:40Speaker 2: Can I tell you something?
- 1:55:41Speaker 12: What?
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: Bro?
- 1:55:42Speaker 2: I'm sorry? I shouldn't have hit you that hard. It
- 1:55:44Speaker 2: wasn't intentional, and I shouldn't have gone to your locker.
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: So what you want me apodaze saying an N word?
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 1:55:51Speaker 5: You know?
- 1:55:53Speaker 2: This is on your Let's let's take a let's take
- 1:55:55Speaker 2: a moment to realize, maybe, just maybe I shouldn't have
- 1:56:00Speaker 2: voltailored to his locker, tried to fight him, held a
- 1:56:03Speaker 2: grudge for a year and a half.
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: Your locker home. Remember, But if you say that I apologize.
- 1:56:08Speaker 5: No, no, that's not a real apology.
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: I can apologize for the situation that happened in the
- 1:56:14Speaker 1: locker room.
- 1:56:16Speaker 5: Is that good enough for you? And I apologize for
- 1:56:21Speaker 5: kind of creating a grudge. You can even say kind.
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: Of the gudge, like, hey, you had a grudge. You
- 1:56:30Speaker 2: know it's all good.
- 1:56:31Speaker 1: Okay, I apologize for creating a grudge. You want to know?
- 1:56:39Speaker 5: It's funny too, as I'm as we're having fun with
- 1:56:42Speaker 5: all this.
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: No, it's so funny the way Jeffson's like, hey, I apologize.
- 1:56:45Speaker 1: But.
- 1:56:47Speaker 5: I'm thinking we're talking earlier about like player culture leadership,
- 1:56:52Speaker 5: and you lose to like we all grown man like
- 1:56:54Speaker 5: we shouldn't be sensitive. You could just tell the sensitivity
- 1:56:56Speaker 5: throughout the locker room, everybody included. You could just tell
- 1:56:59Speaker 5: how it's a little it gets a little sensitive around everybody.
- 1:57:02Speaker 5: Everybody should be able to handle, especially like where you're
- 1:57:06Speaker 5: at in your career right now. I completely understand the whole,
- 1:57:10Speaker 5: Like I'm not betting the need to nothing, because there
- 1:57:13Speaker 5: is a level of like you want to be the
- 1:57:15Speaker 5: top dog, you want to be the alpha dog. You
- 1:57:17Speaker 5: want to like always like hold the standard for yourself
- 1:57:21Speaker 5: you always have, And I'm just telling you, and I
- 1:57:24Speaker 5: hope it's not for ten years from now when you're
- 1:57:26Speaker 5: out you realize, like, wow, there's a lot of shit
- 1:57:29Speaker 5: that I handled that I was like I shouldn't have
- 1:57:32Speaker 5: been that mat or I shouldn't have handled it.
- 1:57:33Speaker 2: I shouldn't have gone and sat in that guy's locker
- 1:57:35Speaker 2: after to try to instigate or fuck around to.
- 1:57:37Speaker 1: Have moments though, like yeah, throughout Like that's the reason
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: why this year like was a big year for me,
- 1:57:44Speaker 1: Like I did a lot, Like this past off season
- 1:57:46Speaker 1: was probably the most I actually did a lot of
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: self reflecting to where my last couple of years from
- 1:57:54Speaker 1: the reason why I changed my diety to the way
- 1:57:56Speaker 1: I live, the way I was a leader in the
- 1:57:59Speaker 1: locker room, to some of my actions and not just
- 1:58:02Speaker 1: with the game of football, but in life to where damn,
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: like you just said, maybe I should have never got
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: that pissed off. Maybe I should have handled the Cam
- 1:58:12Speaker 1: War situation in training camp when I after practice, and
- 1:58:16Speaker 1: especially the way it blew up, like I didn't want
- 1:58:19Speaker 1: that to like the way it blew up. I'm like,
- 1:58:21Speaker 1: why the shit blowing up? Because after practice. What didn't
- 1:58:24Speaker 1: get to the media is how Cam came straight to
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: my locker when we walked up the football field when
- 1:58:28Speaker 1: the locker what Taylor did, That's what Cam did. He
- 1:58:31Speaker 1: sat right beside, not in my locker, but he sat
- 1:58:34Speaker 1: right beside the empty locker that was open. Came over there,
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: eating up down, freeze pop talking to me like that's
- 1:58:42Speaker 1: what you know. But it's like in the heat of
- 1:58:44Speaker 1: the moment when you got media practice and you got
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: guys setting up these tents getting ready to do interviews, like, damn,
- 1:58:51Speaker 1: how can I handle that? How could I? How could
- 1:58:54Speaker 1: I handle that? Different too? You know, throughout the years
- 1:58:58Speaker 1: to in my career on game game days to go
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: back to the damn situations. I think we're playing the
- 1:59:06Speaker 1: Bills Bobby Hart. You remember when he punted Vrabel. You
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: know that all happened in the middle of the game
- 1:59:14Speaker 1: to where he pissed off of me. Now after the game,
- 1:59:17Speaker 1: you know at that point, I'm still I'm I'm not
- 1:59:19Speaker 1: an old I'm not old as old as old I am.
- 1:59:22Speaker 1: Now to where damn right, let's you want to fight.
- 1:59:25Speaker 1: Let's we can fight in the ton of We're walking,
- 1:59:27Speaker 1: We're gonna rot in the tunn of together. You know
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: in Buffalo, the ton of right there together. The locker
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: room's right there together. So I'm like, let's fight old.
- 1:59:36Speaker 1: To me now, it's like, bro, not like what happened
- 1:59:40Speaker 1: on the in the between them line. You want to fight,
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: go ahead, But like that's the type of things to where,
- 1:59:45Speaker 1: like I said, I did a lot of reflecting this
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: past offseason. How cannot you know, not just be a
- 1:59:50Speaker 1: better football player, but a better person on the football field.
- 1:59:53Speaker 2: There is there a piece of you with like growing
- 1:59:56Speaker 2: up going to Mississippi State, however your story is and
- 1:59:59Speaker 2: however went where you've had this like chip on your
- 2:00:02Speaker 2: shoulder of like whatever your motivating factor is like I
- 2:00:05Speaker 2: had to be an asshole in the field and letting
- 2:00:08Speaker 2: things bleed over to the other side off the field
- 2:00:11Speaker 2: that you feel like, Man, if I lose this piece
- 2:00:14Speaker 2: of me, then I might lose that piece of me
- 2:00:16Speaker 2: on the field, because I know that was the thing
- 2:00:17Speaker 2: for me, especially in college. In my first couple of
- 2:00:20Speaker 2: years in the league. I'd be like, why partied a bunch?
- 2:00:23Speaker 2: If I don't have this like whatever mentality, like gritty
- 2:00:28Speaker 2: type of mentality off the field on the field, I'm
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: not going to have the same thing.
- 2:00:33Speaker 1: Nah, I would say for me personally, I don't. I
- 2:00:37Speaker 1: never had that, Like I never had like, oh, let
- 2:00:40Speaker 1: me be an asshole in the field. But if I
- 2:00:42Speaker 1: lose that, maybe something that's a I guess I lose
- 2:00:48Speaker 1: something that's off the field. I think for me, the
- 2:00:52Speaker 1: game of football is the reason why I made it
- 2:00:55Speaker 1: to where I'm at right now. Like I've been playing
- 2:00:57Speaker 1: football since I was five. I started playing football early.
- 2:01:00Speaker 1: I got a older brother, of course, two years older
- 2:01:03Speaker 1: than me. I was going to football practice him and
- 2:01:06Speaker 1: I decided I wanted to play football because of him.
- 2:01:09Speaker 1: I'm watching him and I started early. Remember traveling to
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: Atlanta to play travel ball, and we went out there
- 2:01:15Speaker 1: and I'm I'm the youngest kid out there, and I'm
- 2:01:18Speaker 1: playing out there with him. And we used to be
- 2:01:20Speaker 1: in the backyard, put on all shoulder path and help
- 2:01:23Speaker 1: hitting the damn patry that we had in our backyard. Too.
- 2:01:27Speaker 1: Now it's like the game of football was my escapegoat
- 2:01:33Speaker 1: from everything. So I would say growing up as a
- 2:01:38Speaker 1: child not having a father, I think when I got older,
- 2:01:44Speaker 1: I realized how much that did affect me. I would
- 2:01:46Speaker 1: say that's the reason why I played. I think I
- 2:01:49Speaker 1: played with so much anger, because I mean, in high school,
- 2:01:53Speaker 1: you play, you having fun. In college, you still having fun,
- 2:01:56Speaker 1: but you're not realizing, like damn, why the hell I'm
- 2:01:59Speaker 1: playing so angry? You know, but I'm still having fun
- 2:02:02Speaker 1: doing it. And it's still to this day. It's just
- 2:02:04Speaker 1: like when you when you could get to a point
- 2:02:06Speaker 1: where like, damn, football is the reason why football really
- 2:02:10Speaker 1: save you, kind of one of them deals. And I
- 2:02:13Speaker 1: mean it's just like, you know, not to even kind
- 2:02:15Speaker 1: of go in details to the situation I had in
- 2:02:18Speaker 1: high school to you know, if I was just an
- 2:02:22Speaker 1: average person, you know, not not having a scholarship to
- 2:02:26Speaker 1: go play football, and miss some state. You know, where
- 2:02:29Speaker 1: would I be right now in that situation to where
- 2:02:32Speaker 1: that just happened national media? What I would have got
- 2:02:36Speaker 1: a second opportunity in life without the game of football.
- 2:02:40Speaker 1: And that's the reason why, like even to this day,
- 2:02:42Speaker 1: like maybe that kind of helped me mold me to
- 2:02:45Speaker 1: the player I am on the football field, because it's
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: just like, you know, I'm grateful to play this game.
- 2:02:50Speaker 1: I'm grateful to go out there each and every day,
- 2:02:53Speaker 1: each and every Sunday, to go out there and have
- 2:02:57Speaker 1: people cheering for me. And that's the reason why I
- 2:02:59Speaker 1: like when I go out there, I'm trying to go
- 2:03:01Speaker 1: one hundred map out every single time I'm on the
- 2:03:03Speaker 1: football field. And it's just like that's my why because
- 2:03:05Speaker 1: I didn't have that second opportunity in life to continue
- 2:03:08Speaker 1: to doing what I've been doing since I was five
- 2:03:10Speaker 1: years old. So I wouldn't say it's something that if
- 2:03:14Speaker 1: I lose. I don't think I not something that if
- 2:03:18Speaker 1: I lose that edge that I have on a football field,
- 2:03:22Speaker 1: which I don't think I lose until maybe can't do
- 2:03:25Speaker 1: it no more. But I think if I ever lose
- 2:03:29Speaker 1: the game of football because of maybe I retire, maybe injury,
- 2:03:32Speaker 1: whatever may be. I don't think that'll change the person
- 2:03:35Speaker 1: who I am off the football field.
- 2:03:37Speaker 5: Appreciate you sharing that all that about your dad and everything.
- 2:03:42Speaker 2: Yeah, the dad things. Does it change your perspective on
- 2:03:46Speaker 2: being a father now?
- 2:03:48Speaker 1: Most definitely? You know when for me, you know, I
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: don't try to like because I never want to sit,
- 2:03:56Speaker 1: you know, and bash my dad. I never had a
- 2:04:00Speaker 1: my dad. I'm twenty eight years old. Never to this
- 2:04:03Speaker 1: day do I have thoughts of like, bro, I just
- 2:04:06Speaker 1: want to go sit down with my dad and figure
- 2:04:11Speaker 1: out why and what happened throughout from when I was
- 2:04:16Speaker 1: born up until this day, Like I want to like
- 2:04:19Speaker 1: sometimes do I have them thoughts like hell? Yeah, But
- 2:04:22Speaker 1: it's to a point now where I'm a grown man.
- 2:04:25Speaker 1: But I also I have guys like my uncle one
- 2:04:28Speaker 1: probably I call him dad at time, like he acts
- 2:04:31Speaker 1: like a dad at the time. I mean, you've been
- 2:04:33Speaker 1: around my uncle life, no matter who it is. He
- 2:04:35Speaker 1: probably he treats grown mens like I'm gonna sit down
- 2:04:37Speaker 1: here and talk to you. But when I when you
- 2:04:40Speaker 1: have guys like him, my high school coach, who's one
- 2:04:44Speaker 1: guy that I really used to call my dad and
- 2:04:45Speaker 1: still you know, great communication with him, my high school coach.
- 2:04:49Speaker 1: I rown shorter, Like when you have guys like that
- 2:04:51Speaker 1: around you, it kind of I wouldn't say. I would
- 2:04:56Speaker 1: say put a band aid on it, because it's not
- 2:04:58Speaker 1: fixing a problem. And so throughout my like my life,
- 2:05:02Speaker 1: it's like I want to sit down and talk to
- 2:05:04Speaker 1: my dad. I remember talking to my uncle about it,
- 2:05:06Speaker 1: like you because I'm talking like you know, he recommended,
- 2:05:11Speaker 1: like I think you just should try to do it,
- 2:05:13Speaker 1: and I'm.
- 2:05:14Speaker 5: Like, like reach out to him and just let's meet up.
- 2:05:17Speaker 1: Un let's have a conversation. But one thing that's and
- 2:05:21Speaker 1: I really don't tell people this, but one thing that
- 2:05:24Speaker 1: scarred me was I remember being back in Louisiana where
- 2:05:28Speaker 1: I was born, was born in Jeania, Louisiana. I just
- 2:05:31Speaker 1: remember remember being in Louisiana and me like kids walked,
- 2:05:38Speaker 1: I mean my family right there. That's like your dad
- 2:05:40Speaker 1: about to pull up, your dad coming, and I'm sitting
- 2:05:43Speaker 1: on the step and then I think this ship scarred me.
- 2:05:47Speaker 1: Bro Like he walked straight past me and ain't say shit,
- 2:05:52Speaker 1: no shit, And it was like you know, as a kid,
- 2:05:55Speaker 1: like you're not thinking like, oh he gonna know he
- 2:05:58Speaker 1: just maybe in a rush, he gonna come back whatever,
- 2:06:00Speaker 1: and like I mean nothing, So throughout my life, like
- 2:06:05Speaker 1: throughout my growing up and to this point of my life,
- 2:06:08Speaker 1: it's like that was an opportunity, yeah, but nothing. So
- 2:06:13Speaker 1: it's like me at this point of my life now,
- 2:06:15Speaker 1: it's just like how can I be the best dad?
- 2:06:17Speaker 1: How can I you know, yes, sometimes when you the
- 2:06:21Speaker 1: parents of your child, you know, pissing you off, like,
- 2:06:25Speaker 1: but it's not about them. It's about how can I
- 2:06:29Speaker 1: be the best dad for my child? Because like, yeah,
- 2:06:33Speaker 1: as a parent, like especially playing the game of football,
- 2:06:37Speaker 1: we know how much time is valuable, and you know
- 2:06:40Speaker 1: that's the thing that we wish we could get back,
- 2:06:43Speaker 1: especially you know with me with my dad. But you
- 2:06:47Speaker 1: know I would say my mom, they'll have a job.
- 2:06:48Speaker 1: And that's the reason why I give all. Like when
- 2:06:52Speaker 1: I signed the contract, like I want damn, I'm not
- 2:06:55Speaker 1: damn there I was in tears up there talking about
- 2:06:57Speaker 1: my mom because I mean, my mom raised five kids.
- 2:07:00Speaker 1: Is you know my mom raised five kids and I'm
- 2:07:04Speaker 1: guarantee you that every one of them you walk up
- 2:07:06Speaker 1: to and when you when we meet other people, when
- 2:07:09Speaker 1: you talk about you talk about who we really are
- 2:07:13Speaker 1: as as as a people. I'm sure like everybody that
- 2:07:18Speaker 1: meet us, and they go back and tell my mom, like,
- 2:07:20Speaker 1: your kids are respectful, Like it's gonna be yes, ma'am, yes,
- 2:07:24Speaker 1: Like it's gonna be all of that. And that's the
- 2:07:26Speaker 1: way we was raised. And that's why I always get
- 2:07:27Speaker 1: a praise to my mom because she did a hell
- 2:07:29Speaker 1: of a job, like you know, from job to job
- 2:07:32Speaker 1: to me seeing my mom sitting on the side of
- 2:07:34Speaker 1: the bed crying trying to figure out what's the how
- 2:07:38Speaker 1: to make all Christmas good because she just got laid
- 2:07:40Speaker 1: off too, you know, not wanting for nothing as a kid.
- 2:07:45Speaker 1: And that's the reason why, you know, no matter what
- 2:07:48Speaker 1: it may be. You know, sometimes we all know parents
- 2:07:51Speaker 1: should get a little, get get a little what's the
- 2:07:56Speaker 1: word for, like leave me the hell alone sometime, like
- 2:07:59Speaker 1: you know, but we all know they could get annoying
- 2:08:01Speaker 1: that I should say at time. But you know, I'm
- 2:08:03Speaker 1: grateful for my mom, and you know, she did a
- 2:08:05Speaker 1: hell of a job of raising us because at an
- 2:08:09Speaker 1: early age, me and my brother had to learn how
- 2:08:11Speaker 1: to be the man of the house.
- 2:08:13Speaker 5: Early, so I can only imagine how hard that was
- 2:08:15Speaker 5: balancing jobs, raising five kids, like you're a father now,
- 2:08:18Speaker 5: like you imagine having five kiddos that you're fully by
- 2:08:21Speaker 5: yourself just ripping around, yeah, and feeling like you know,
- 2:08:24Speaker 5: holidays or what your your kids are learning at school,
- 2:08:27Speaker 5: the excitement around a holiday and you and your mind
- 2:08:29Speaker 5: having to sit with like, man, I need to figure
- 2:08:32Speaker 5: something out to provide like a Christmas experience like you
- 2:08:35Speaker 5: let it do? You let them down at times and
- 2:08:37Speaker 5: you just wear that I can only imagine and.
- 2:08:39Speaker 2: Not telling them what's really going on. Just feel like
- 2:08:41Speaker 2: I have to think it as good as possible. You
- 2:08:42Speaker 2: need to worry about these issues.
- 2:08:43Speaker 1: That's why I say with us as like me and
- 2:08:47Speaker 1: my siblings see like we saw my mom break down
- 2:08:51Speaker 1: to where she just got laid off. But every birthday
- 2:08:55Speaker 1: we had a party maybe like hot dogs, and that's
- 2:08:58Speaker 1: when we were sticking the damn head in the bucket
- 2:09:01Speaker 1: of apples and water that we used to actually like
- 2:09:08Speaker 1: she used to make things fun for us as kids
- 2:09:10Speaker 1: and Christmas, like we always had a good Christmas. And
- 2:09:14Speaker 1: that's why I said, like to this day, like you know,
- 2:09:18Speaker 1: my mom is like she's like I said, he ain't
- 2:09:21Speaker 1: get annoying. That just family for you and you know
- 2:09:24Speaker 1: I would I would never like not do for my mom. Yeah.
- 2:09:27Speaker 5: Yeah, you feel like the conversation you have with your
- 2:09:29Speaker 5: uncle about talking to your dad and then it doesn't
- 2:09:32Speaker 5: get to that step. Do you feel like it's it's
- 2:09:34Speaker 5: you being angry about the situation. You feel like hey
- 2:09:37Speaker 5: reach out and heat the whole you know, walking past
- 2:09:40Speaker 5: you on the step.
- 2:09:41Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I wouldn't say angry because I'm past that stage.
- 2:09:44Speaker 1: I mean because I feel like the anger would would
- 2:09:49Speaker 1: cause utther like hatred, because I don't hate my dad
- 2:09:55Speaker 1: because of the situation. It's more of for me, it's
- 2:09:59Speaker 1: like why now, Like why would I do it now?
- 2:10:03Speaker 1: But and I was thinking about this a couple of
- 2:10:07Speaker 1: weeks ago, and I was talking to my girl about it.
- 2:10:09Speaker 1: It's just like, what if I don't get the opportunity,
- 2:10:13Speaker 1: something happened to him, something happened to me. She's never
- 2:10:15Speaker 1: know what if? What if I don't get the opportunity
- 2:10:19Speaker 1: before something tragedy happen? And I think That's what I've
- 2:10:23Speaker 1: been thinking more on. You know, My goal is to
- 2:10:28Speaker 1: continue to try to because I mean that one thing
- 2:10:32Speaker 1: I'm big on and one thing I'm I want to
- 2:10:35Speaker 1: get more into his therapy. It's like, how can I
- 2:10:38Speaker 1: figure out ways to get around all of these I
- 2:10:42Speaker 1: wouldn't say like hatred or you know, anger, because it's
- 2:10:46Speaker 1: not really that, but how can I get around them
- 2:10:48Speaker 1: feelings to put aside to have that conversation because I
- 2:10:53Speaker 1: still I talked to my siblings on his on his side,
- 2:10:56Speaker 1: like you know, one of my sisters, she she's always
- 2:10:59Speaker 1: checking in. You know, my brother the other day, you know,
- 2:11:02Speaker 1: he probably made his fifth Snapchat, but he just added
- 2:11:05Speaker 1: me on Snapchat and we just changed numbers just the
- 2:11:07Speaker 1: other day. So it's like, I don't want the relationship,
- 2:11:12Speaker 1: not like me and my immediate sibling here in Tennessee.
- 2:11:16Speaker 1: But I still have a lot of communication with them,
- 2:11:19Speaker 1: and so it's just him like, yeah, when can I
- 2:11:23Speaker 1: put them feelings aside? And how can I put them
- 2:11:26Speaker 1: feelings aside? Because I mean it's not easy because like
- 2:11:28Speaker 1: I said, it's to a point where right now it's
- 2:11:30Speaker 1: like why now.
- 2:11:32Speaker 2: Yeah, So has he ever? He's never reached out.
- 2:11:34Speaker 1: I mean I think he didn't try through maybe my
- 2:11:39Speaker 1: mom or because I think my sister, my oldest sister,
- 2:11:42Speaker 1: which she's thirty four, thirty five, she had more relationship
- 2:11:49Speaker 1: with him because her my mom, my mom and my
- 2:11:52Speaker 1: dad was together when she was coming up, and she's
- 2:11:56Speaker 1: of course older than me. But I think they used
- 2:11:59Speaker 1: to like talk here there, especially when I was in college.
- 2:12:03Speaker 1: I think he tried to get in contact with me,
- 2:12:05Speaker 1: but it was just like at that point it was
- 2:12:07Speaker 1: still kind.
- 2:12:07Speaker 2: Of probably felt some way like I was doing well.
- 2:12:10Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's kind of what my mindset was.
- 2:12:15Speaker 1: Not not like I didn't talk to therapists. I didn't.
- 2:12:17Speaker 1: I didn't talk to therapists. I didn't. You know. That's
- 2:12:19Speaker 1: one thing that I would say as a man, it's
- 2:12:23Speaker 1: like it was hard because for me, it was like
- 2:12:27Speaker 1: all the stuff that I've been through in life. It's
- 2:12:29Speaker 1: like I feel like I got through it, but not
- 2:12:32Speaker 1: really got through it. And so it's like when you
- 2:12:35Speaker 1: start actually talking to people, like my therapy at the
- 2:12:38Speaker 1: time was my uncle. Like I'm going to him, I'm
- 2:12:41Speaker 1: he's sitting on the phone. I'm crying in my own
- 2:12:43Speaker 1: Yeah he's not a therapy, but I'm saying somebody that's
- 2:12:49Speaker 1: someone I trusted. I trust my uncle to take this
- 2:12:54Speaker 1: stuff too, but not everything I didn't. I don't. I
- 2:12:57Speaker 1: don't like my uncle tell you like it's be certain
- 2:12:59Speaker 1: stuff day and he for some reason, I don't know
- 2:13:03Speaker 1: what is about him, but like he would call me,
- 2:13:04Speaker 1: he was just like, I saw you out there on Sunday,
- 2:13:07Speaker 1: like I'm watching the game. You didn't look yourself. What's
- 2:13:09Speaker 1: going on? And it'd be something actually on my mind
- 2:13:12Speaker 1: before the game to where I'm not thinking that's out
- 2:13:15Speaker 1: there affecting me. But he was like, you didn't seem
- 2:13:18Speaker 1: like yourself today, like not this year, but like in
- 2:13:21Speaker 1: the past, he hadn't done that to where I'm like, damn,
- 2:13:25Speaker 1: like how did you read that about me? But like
- 2:13:29Speaker 1: I said, just I think my goal, especially this year.
- 2:13:33Speaker 1: You know, I don't do it all that New Year
- 2:13:35Speaker 1: resolution now. I mean, I don't do all that, but
- 2:13:38Speaker 1: I think the biggest thing is for me this year
- 2:13:40Speaker 1: is do more therapy to be able to maybe, like
- 2:13:44Speaker 1: I said, maybe I could go to more therapy and
- 2:13:46Speaker 1: actually talk about that situation to eventually have a sit
- 2:13:49Speaker 1: down with him.
- 2:13:50Speaker 5: So, yeah, I'm a fan of therapy. I would. I
- 2:13:54Speaker 5: would for sure. It seems like you're kind of curious
- 2:13:56Speaker 5: about it enough to where it won't be and you
- 2:14:00Speaker 5: already it's like just a listening you talk about where
- 2:14:03Speaker 5: it's like, you know, I can get past it or
- 2:14:05Speaker 5: I sent my feelings aside. Where it's therapy you, it's
- 2:14:07Speaker 5: like you they put you back in those spots and
- 2:14:09Speaker 5: you it's almost like helping equip you with tools to
- 2:14:12Speaker 5: go through all the emotions and feelings that you're actually
- 2:14:15Speaker 5: feeling to kind of like get through, get to the
- 2:14:18Speaker 5: other side, and then hopefully it's like it ends up
- 2:14:20Speaker 5: with a no pressure burger sitting down with your old man.
- 2:14:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but you'll see, you see.
- 2:14:26Speaker 2: And also just having kids like you, the tools that
- 2:14:29Speaker 2: you learn now that you that affected you as a child,
- 2:14:32Speaker 2: when your kids go through things, you'll be better equipped
- 2:14:35Speaker 2: to help them through those processes. I had a situation
- 2:14:37Speaker 2: with my mom where Ian spoke to her in a
- 2:14:39Speaker 2: long time and I.
- 2:14:41Speaker 1: Thought, you actually shared that with me about your mom. Yeah, yeah,
- 2:14:45Speaker 1: because I remember I'm going to cut you off, but
- 2:14:48Speaker 1: I remember I was looking for some outdoors furniture and
- 2:14:53Speaker 1: I went to the is it Patty or something like?
- 2:14:56Speaker 2: Was it in twelve South?
- 2:14:57Speaker 1: No, it was right going to tighten motoring.
- 2:15:00Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, patio yeah, patio furniture.
- 2:15:02Speaker 1: Yeah. And I remember I was like, I met your
- 2:15:04Speaker 1: mom and you kind of went into starting like I
- 2:15:08Speaker 1: don't really you know, talk, Yeah.
- 2:15:10Speaker 2: So we had that. That's kind of how the situation
- 2:15:12Speaker 2: was for the last like seven years or something like that.
- 2:15:15Speaker 2: And Will was big on like, hey, you should talk
- 2:15:16Speaker 2: to her. Will has a lot of reasons why, but
- 2:15:21Speaker 2: I wasn't going to and I was like so resistant
- 2:15:24Speaker 2: to the idea of it. And then I thought to myself, well,
- 2:15:26Speaker 2: what if my kids ever feel the way I feel
- 2:15:28Speaker 2: about my mom. If I don't do if I don't
- 2:15:31Speaker 2: have tools, if I don't go fix it, now, how
- 2:15:33Speaker 2: am I going to be able to give them the
- 2:15:34Speaker 2: steps to maybe like, hey, this is how I fixed
- 2:15:36Speaker 2: my relationship with my parents when I had a problem.
- 2:15:39Speaker 2: And I remember the first time meeting her, dude, like
- 2:15:40Speaker 2: the first thirty not meeting her, but like seeing her
- 2:15:43Speaker 2: for the first time a long time. I was like
- 2:15:44Speaker 2: I just like cried for thirty minutes, just like I
- 2:15:46Speaker 2: hate you. Yeah, and then within like an hour after that,
- 2:15:50Speaker 2: it was way better. And she's now met my kids
- 2:15:52Speaker 2: and she's been around a little bit still parents in
- 2:15:54Speaker 2: the sense that like, all right, Mom, I need I
- 2:15:56Speaker 2: need fifteen minutes, like you need to relax a little bit.
- 2:15:58Speaker 2: But it is it's like it's refreshing to feel the
- 2:16:03Speaker 2: weight you didn't realize that was on your own shoulders
- 2:16:05Speaker 2: and you're like, oh, ship, like I really was, whether
- 2:16:07Speaker 2: I was like getting getting through it without getting through it,
- 2:16:10Speaker 2: Like it's like takes away Allevi. It's a pressure from
- 2:16:12Speaker 2: you that you're like, man, it feels a whole lot better.
- 2:16:15Speaker 2: So just to piggyback off that, it's like it's nice too.
- 2:16:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that's gonna be really a big party for minutes
- 2:16:22Speaker 1: off season.
- 2:16:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:16:23Speaker 1: I like that therapy and figuring that out.
- 2:16:27Speaker 5: So having a convo with your dad, yeah, or if
- 2:16:29Speaker 5: you want to call them.
- 2:16:30Speaker 1: By by name, I am a I am a junior.
- 2:16:33Speaker 1: So are you really there?
- 2:16:35Speaker 2: You go?
- 2:16:36Speaker 5: What else do we have that? Hey, dude, I appreciate
- 2:16:39Speaker 5: you sharing that seriously.
- 2:16:40Speaker 2: Yeah, listen to this podcast has had a lot of
- 2:16:42Speaker 2: EPs and flows.
- 2:16:43Speaker 5: Yeah, it's honestly phenomenal.
- 2:16:46Speaker 2: It has because a lot of football talk. You're like,
- 2:16:48Speaker 2: all right, we don't get to meet potatoes that we
- 2:16:50Speaker 2: made friends again, look at us to catch a lunch
- 2:16:53Speaker 2: date later, grab coffee, talk about therapy sessions and then
- 2:16:55Speaker 2: all that.
- 2:16:55Speaker 5: And talking about Loki or like our deepest fears, like
- 2:16:58Speaker 5: our deeper deepest, like insecurity, right, thinking this is like
- 2:17:01Speaker 5: a goal of mine.
- 2:17:03Speaker 1: You said, go a gold a.
- 2:17:05Speaker 2: Goal goal goal Like you're like, hey, I got it.
- 2:17:08Speaker 2: But you brought up gold. What was the gold chain thing?
- 2:17:11Speaker 1: You wearing one? Now, no, you took it off.
- 2:17:14Speaker 2: On this Was this your rookie year?
- 2:17:19Speaker 1: I think I was. It's year one of your two.
- 2:17:21Speaker 1: I can't remember exactly, but.
- 2:17:22Speaker 5: Here's what I can.
- 2:17:23Speaker 1: You know, you know he he because it was two
- 2:17:26Speaker 1: guys that wore gold necklaces. It was him. I don't
- 2:17:30Speaker 1: know what brand, like what kind of gold he's wearing.
- 2:17:34Speaker 1: Delaney Delaney used to wear David Yearman. I'm sure he's
- 2:17:37Speaker 1: still wearing them.
- 2:17:38Speaker 2: That's what I got him to. Delaney used to wear
- 2:17:40Speaker 2: that choke it. I used to see he used to
- 2:17:41Speaker 2: cut the V. I used to think, my god, that
- 2:17:43Speaker 2: goes so fucking.
- 2:17:44Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. And it's coming back to
- 2:17:46Speaker 1: likes and you know Delaney used to wear that. That's
- 2:17:48Speaker 1: the reason why.
- 2:17:49Speaker 2: So you approached this. So you approached me like Taylor,
- 2:17:51Speaker 2: I will look up to you.
- 2:17:52Speaker 5: Did you know Taylor anywhere else? Did you know did
- 2:17:57Speaker 5: you see Taylor give necklaces to.
- 2:17:59Speaker 1: I think he I think he didn't for sure promise
- 2:18:01Speaker 1: of a guy go necklace.
- 2:18:03Speaker 2: Damn, I'm promises. Probably I could.
- 2:18:06Speaker 5: Here's what I could see. I can for sure see
- 2:18:10Speaker 5: that time where you ordered a few? Did you give
- 2:18:12Speaker 5: Derek one? No?
- 2:18:14Speaker 2: Is that when I give you one?
- 2:18:15Speaker 5: Yeah? Yeah, yeah, it's when you gave me one. I
- 2:18:17Speaker 5: don't know if you got dB one, Like if dB
- 2:18:19Speaker 5: was just in the market for another one and you
- 2:18:21Speaker 5: hooked him up, And then I could just see Jeff
- 2:18:23Speaker 5: like just being part of whatever circle was happening, and
- 2:18:26Speaker 5: you just all fantastic.
- 2:18:27Speaker 1: One of your dad. I was ready to beat your ass,
- 2:18:29Speaker 1: as you say, but I know I wouldn't. Never, I wouldn't.
- 2:18:32Speaker 2: I like to think of us as hard friends, hard stop,
- 2:18:35Speaker 2: and now we're back to being friends. Yeah, but there
- 2:18:37Speaker 2: was a hard stop there for a minute where I
- 2:18:39Speaker 2: was like, yo, by cross halls with Jeff in like
- 2:18:41Speaker 2: the middle of the night, he might yeah, he might
- 2:18:44Speaker 2: swing on me. Fuck that ship and think his ass
- 2:18:48Speaker 2: to let him give me two.
- 2:18:49Speaker 5: I could see a situation like that happening. Yes, it's
- 2:18:51Speaker 5: kind of fleeting, and you're like, if you get that,
- 2:18:55Speaker 5: I know.
- 2:18:56Speaker 1: I can't talk much about it. That's gonna get to
- 2:18:59Speaker 1: my point, but I can't ain't talk much about it.
- 2:19:01Speaker 1: And you know with the I don't have no Jerry
- 2:19:04Speaker 1: right now. Taylor would be a nice gift for you from.
- 2:19:06Speaker 2: It chain, but you need let me get you gold chain.
- 2:19:12Speaker 1: At this point we'll talk when off the park, I
- 2:19:16Speaker 1: mean when when the camera, I mean this ship. But
- 2:19:19Speaker 1: at this point, I mean, I don't have no Jerry
- 2:19:21Speaker 1: right now. Man, I'm a I'm a couple of things short.
- 2:19:24Speaker 2: So I didn't have to do with Pro Bowls. What
- 2:19:27Speaker 2: this thing, the gold chain thing?
- 2:19:29Speaker 1: No, but what I what I am going to say
- 2:19:32Speaker 1: is the Buckner. I mean, you're not in the locker room.
- 2:19:36Speaker 1: But I don't think no guy in the locker room
- 2:19:38Speaker 1: gonna walk up and say I'm gonna buy you assist
- 2:19:39Speaker 1: thousand dollar AP for making All Pro, first team All Pro.
- 2:19:43Speaker 1: That's what he did. You see that?
- 2:19:45Speaker 5: No, I didn't see.
- 2:19:46Speaker 1: So it's I think it's the I want to say,
- 2:19:48Speaker 1: the rookie tight end. I think he made All Pro
- 2:19:52Speaker 1: this year, and I guess the far Buckinger gifted him
- 2:19:56Speaker 1: an AP for making All Pro. A p for All Pro.
- 2:20:00Speaker 2: Buddy. It sounds like you have a huge opportunity for
- 2:20:02Speaker 2: leadership in your locker room right now. Well three years.
- 2:20:06Speaker 1: I mean, you say you made bro and I need
- 2:20:09Speaker 1: to know. I'm not saying you need to I should,
- 2:20:12Speaker 1: but I mean I'm seeing fucking videos you got throwing
- 2:20:16Speaker 1: fucking twenty k on the what the game Boka ride?
- 2:20:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you consume our content.
- 2:20:24Speaker 1: I see it, like yeah, and I saw you in
- 2:20:26Speaker 1: Vagas going to the high rollers room when you ignored me.
- 2:20:29Speaker 1: I said, Taylor, hold on, I got you. I see it.
- 2:20:33Speaker 1: But I'm just what But I'm not saying you have to?
- 2:20:37Speaker 2: Did you want to do the Tunnel of Chaos?
- 2:20:39Speaker 1: What's that?
- 2:20:40Speaker 2: That's the gambling we do a Dana.
- 2:20:42Speaker 1: Hell no from with his money. I ain't. I ain't
- 2:20:45Speaker 1: going in there and take out how much money? How
- 2:20:48Speaker 1: much money? An estimate to where y'all walk into the room.
- 2:20:52Speaker 2: It's not we have credit line, the credit line five
- 2:20:55Speaker 2: hundred thousand.
- 2:20:56Speaker 1: I this, that's not what I'm doing. Just like I didn't.
- 2:21:01Speaker 1: I didn't lost some money in Vegas. Yeah, like a
- 2:21:04Speaker 1: couple of weekends ago. I'm liked, damn, all right, that's enough.
- 2:21:08Speaker 1: I'm not going to getting no more money, like god damn.
- 2:21:10Speaker 1: But five hundred okay.
- 2:21:14Speaker 2: That's all. It's looked at is an you max bet,
- 2:21:17Speaker 2: you win two and you get out. That's the goal
- 2:21:20Speaker 2: every time.
- 2:21:21Speaker 1: And then do you get out?
- 2:21:22Speaker 2: Well, I used to my last couple of times, I've
- 2:21:27Speaker 2: got I've gotten read.
- 2:21:28Speaker 1: The videos and I'm like, god, like maybe i just
- 2:21:31Speaker 1: need to get in the room.
- 2:21:32Speaker 2: And I'm saying.
- 2:21:34Speaker 1: But if I fucking around and lose t K on
- 2:21:37Speaker 1: one bet.
- 2:21:39Speaker 2: Buddy, you want you want to know?
- 2:21:41Speaker 5: That's my chaos here?
- 2:21:44Speaker 2: You were down? How much? On one night? Three hundred
- 2:21:48Speaker 2: thousand was down?
- 2:21:50Speaker 1: Y'll have it. But he came back my financial to
- 2:21:53Speaker 1: be calling me like, you're losing your mind right now?
- 2:21:58Speaker 5: It was we made it out, but.
- 2:22:03Speaker 1: I would love to watch it. I'm not it's you.
- 2:22:05Speaker 2: If you ever partook and it went well that few
- 2:22:10Speaker 2: minutes of being in the tunnel of chaos. It's the
- 2:22:14Speaker 2: most intense situation being I guarantee you.
- 2:22:16Speaker 1: I watched the videos. What I'm saying is what if
- 2:22:20Speaker 1: it don't go the way?
- 2:22:22Speaker 5: I know?
- 2:22:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, it's a battle idea of every day.
- 2:22:26Speaker 1: Like yeah, it's like to win that much like I
- 2:22:31Speaker 1: see that dealer flip over seven in the two like
- 2:22:36Speaker 1: now I'll just shit it on myself, like that yeah,
- 2:22:39Speaker 1: and you just got it and she flip over.
- 2:22:42Speaker 2: Buddy, I know it's happened, and it's like, how the
- 2:22:45Speaker 2: fuck do you have? The one hand better than mine? Right,
- 2:22:47Speaker 2: the one card better than me?
- 2:22:49Speaker 1: You just bet one hundred k on that hand was better?
- 2:22:52Speaker 2: Okay? Well max thirty, My max red Rock is forty five,
- 2:23:00Speaker 2: and my max at Caesar's is fifty. Dana is that
- 2:23:03Speaker 2: Red Rock is one hundred? His max at Caesar's Palace
- 2:23:06Speaker 2: is four hundred thousand a hand? What four hundred us?
- 2:23:11Speaker 5: Bro?
- 2:23:12Speaker 2: I saw we saw him win two point eight million million.
- 2:23:18Speaker 1: I'm sweating, bro, like I would.
- 2:23:21Speaker 2: Don't go. We're short on time, says Sherman via the computer.
- 2:23:24Speaker 2: So do you want hit the bud light question?
- 2:23:26Speaker 5: Yes, a big Jeff. We know you know how everybody
- 2:23:30Speaker 5: would do anything for an ice cool bud light. What
- 2:23:33Speaker 5: is something that Jeff Simmons would do anything for?
- 2:23:36Speaker 1: I can't say family, anything I would do so for.
- 2:23:43Speaker 1: I mean the nature you said so not dealing with football?
- 2:23:47Speaker 5: Right, could go football?
- 2:23:49Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not gonna say I'm I cut my
- 2:23:51Speaker 1: dick off like right with dead, but I think huh,
- 2:23:56Speaker 1: I know I saw y'all posted that too, so yes,
- 2:23:59Speaker 1: I do see what y'all be. I would say winning
- 2:24:06Speaker 1: the super Bowl, I think I do pretty much. I
- 2:24:10Speaker 1: wouldn't say I can't.
- 2:24:11Speaker 5: Say anything but kind of anything.
- 2:24:16Speaker 1: No, I'm not. I know you think it's some gays
- 2:24:19Speaker 1: ship right now, but to win the super Bowl, like
- 2:24:26Speaker 1: that's something playing this game is like, that's something we
- 2:24:30Speaker 1: all dream of. Like this the reason why you play
- 2:24:32Speaker 1: this game, especially on this level, because the money, I
- 2:24:35Speaker 1: mean the money taking care of yourself. To win the
- 2:24:37Speaker 1: super Bowl, though.
- 2:24:40Speaker 5: You give one of your homies, like a peck on
- 2:24:41Speaker 5: the lifts, that's a that's an easy yes, I mean, just.
- 2:24:49Speaker 2: To win a super Bowl.
- 2:24:50Speaker 1: Yeah, your boy, my brother, I love you.
- 2:24:54Speaker 2: Do you just kind of that's an extra something else,
- 2:24:59Speaker 2: Like you know, nobody kissing the lips?
- 2:25:04Speaker 1: No, no, I ain't doing all that. At one time.
- 2:25:07Speaker 1: I'm like, but if that mom will give me a
- 2:25:09Speaker 1: piece of paper and it said, yeah, I mean what
- 2:25:12Speaker 1: you just say kiss on the lips. Now you're saying
- 2:25:17Speaker 1: kiss is different. You gotta really but you're going like
- 2:25:20Speaker 1: you gotta smooth, like you go you can do it
- 2:25:22Speaker 1: to the side.
- 2:25:22Speaker 5: Are you going to be you think you'll go eyes
- 2:25:24Speaker 5: open or eyes closed? When you do it.
- 2:25:30Speaker 2: Open, it's like like you're into it. That is an
- 2:25:36Speaker 2: awesome follow up question.
- 2:25:38Speaker 5: Bro.
- 2:25:39Speaker 2: She win a super Hostal Lombardi Trophy in Nashville, Tennessee,
- 2:25:43Speaker 2: the first one ever live in Infany. Probably have a
- 2:25:45Speaker 2: statue outside your building. You can kiss your boy.
- 2:25:47Speaker 1: Super Bowl my brother, Yeah, I tell you it was me,
- 2:25:53Speaker 1: So I know I'm not gonna lie doup no, bro,
- 2:26:01Speaker 1: because I know what he had it like I ain't.
- 2:26:03Speaker 1: I know I got my ship did, but to know
- 2:26:05Speaker 1: what he had in his ship before he got we've
- 2:26:13Speaker 1: been there what he had. But like then you you
- 2:26:19Speaker 1: just yack, keep putting that ship in your lip.
- 2:26:21Speaker 2: Man, Like Jennie pops out of a bottle. You're in
- 2:26:23Speaker 2: the locker room right before the Super Bowl who and
- 2:26:26Speaker 2: he says, hey, you're gonna lose this game unless you
- 2:26:28Speaker 2: kiss this man. A sudden will Compton pops up. But
- 2:26:31Speaker 2: if you kiss this man, you will win the super Bowl?
- 2:26:36Speaker 1: Damn blindfold me? Will you? I can't It wasn't ship
- 2:26:46Speaker 1: like fear fact.
- 2:26:47Speaker 2: At that point, Johnny Knox will box up out like
- 2:26:57Speaker 2: you say something right before to because you're getting happy
- 2:27:11Speaker 2: before we let you go. How much would it hurt
- 2:27:14Speaker 2: to watch win the Super Bowl? Are you rooting for
- 2:27:17Speaker 2: the Patriots? Guy?
- 2:27:21Speaker 1: I text Very that we know. Listen what I told him.
- 2:27:24Speaker 1: I said, don't don't get comfortable go finit this ship.
- 2:27:27Speaker 1: I don't. I mean, I mean, rab had been in
- 2:27:30Speaker 1: this my rookie year, Like we've been to the FC
- 2:27:34Speaker 1: Championship and he had to. Yeah, he have the team
- 2:27:37Speaker 1: to do it. Like I think d May playing some
- 2:27:40Speaker 1: good football. Young buck up there struggling a little bit.
- 2:27:44Speaker 1: Maybe you could call him you haven't two weekends. I'm like,
- 2:27:52Speaker 1: who I feel because he seemed like we even talked
- 2:27:55Speaker 1: out of the game, like he seemed like a good dude.
- 2:27:59Speaker 1: And of course being a rookie, spotlight on you fourth yes,
- 2:28:03Speaker 1: like damn. But I would say, like I'll be happy
- 2:28:07Speaker 1: as hell to see Raby winning Super Bowl with the
- 2:28:10Speaker 1: Tennessee Titans fan base maybe be happy to see it.
- 2:28:16Speaker 2: I think he probably would be even just be tough
- 2:28:18Speaker 2: like Dan.
- 2:28:18Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that's what That's what I'm saying. They will
- 2:28:20Speaker 1: be pissed like the what IF's.
- 2:28:24Speaker 5: Yeah, there would be directed toward.
- 2:28:26Speaker 1: The uppers, but the upper room out of my control,
- 2:28:30Speaker 1: and I'd be I'm gonna be. I'm I'm happy as
- 2:28:33Speaker 1: hell me first year back into coaching, well head coaching role,
- 2:28:38Speaker 1: to take off what they what's the record last year?
- 2:28:41Speaker 1: It was four and twelve and to be going to
- 2:28:45Speaker 1: getting ready to play in the FC Championship quarterback and
- 2:28:48Speaker 1: now with Buffalo, I mean, with Chicago losing yesterday, I
- 2:28:52Speaker 1: think you should get coach of the year.
- 2:28:54Speaker 2: Oh you think you're uh? I mean the Tim Johnson,
- 2:28:57Speaker 2: Ben Johnson, he was like fourth and the once fifth.
- 2:29:00Speaker 1: Mean, but if you got him and then you got
- 2:29:02Speaker 1: the guy from Jacksonville, like, yes, jack.
- 2:29:08Speaker 5: Four and thirteen last year, but the Patriots have been
- 2:29:10Speaker 5: four and thirteen the last two years.
- 2:29:12Speaker 1: When you look at Kyle Shanahan, they also just lost.
- 2:29:16Speaker 1: But to take a young second year quarterback to take
- 2:29:20Speaker 1: a team you just got in to the FC Championship potentially,
- 2:29:25Speaker 1: I don't see Denver beating them.
- 2:29:27Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, it'll be a fucking watch Knicks out now.
- 2:29:30Speaker 1: That's what that sucks. Which also, I go back to
- 2:29:35Speaker 1: that game. I feel like the Broncos, that's it's not
- 2:29:37Speaker 1: just both both Knicks. I feel like that's a system offense.
- 2:29:40Speaker 1: So Jared Demon could come in and.
- 2:29:41Speaker 5: Just oh like I'm sure he'll have he will be Uh,
- 2:29:47Speaker 5: what's the word I'm looking for?
- 2:29:48Speaker 2: Competitive?
- 2:29:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I'm not saying he slinging the rock
- 2:29:53Speaker 1: alund he was, But I just feel like because of
- 2:29:57Speaker 1: that type of offense, you could put statement in and
- 2:30:02Speaker 1: have some success.
- 2:30:03Speaker 5: But defense defense, it.
- 2:30:06Speaker 1: Said defense that the front nasty. And that's why I say,
- 2:30:10Speaker 1: if they keep block death front and really gonna be
- 2:30:14Speaker 1: the run game, you gotta be able to run run
- 2:30:16Speaker 1: the ball bally as you know, you gotta run the ball.
- 2:30:18Speaker 1: But to answer your question, I'd be excited. I'm not
- 2:30:21Speaker 1: going there's no hate toys. Yeah, toys very so I'd
- 2:30:24Speaker 1: be happy to he to see him win.
- 2:30:26Speaker 2: Oh, Luke's here, perfect. Hey, we got a wrap, Jeff.
- 2:30:30Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Jeff.
- 2:30:32Speaker 5: Phenomenal episode. Phenomenal episode. Appreciate you man.
