- 0:28Hey everybody. Good morning from the chicken
- 0:30coop. So it's very chilly here this
- 0:33morning. It's our first shift of real
- 0:35fall type weather and I thought how appropriate looks like it's
- 0:39gonna be this way all week. So I'm like, OK, let's let's
- 0:43talk some fall stuff. So symbolism is big in my world
- 0:47because all these little things always show up and teach us
- 0:50things. If we look at them, if we don't
- 0:52look at them, then we don't know.
- 0:54But if we look at them and we dig into it, we start to
- 0:56discover things. So if you ever thought about the
- 0:59symbol of leaves falling, is it a symbol?
- 1:04Is it just leaves falling? What could be?
- 1:06Whatever we want to put into it, but in my world.
- 1:08I like to look at it and say OK, leaves symbolize letting go.
- 1:13The tree has absolutely no problem letting go.
- 1:16The tree just lets go. The leaves come in the spring,
- 1:19they pop out and in that symbolism they mean like the
- 1:23rebirth. The tree is still alive.
- 1:25It looked like it was dead all this time, but then it.
- 1:29Pops with all these little buds and then boom, there we go with
- 1:32these beautiful leaves, flowers, whatever it might be.
- 1:35And then we get to the fall and they start turning colors.
- 1:38They start really like brightening up.
- 1:40But really what's happening is that leaf is dying off.
- 1:44That leaf is dying off and it's becoming brighter and brighter
- 1:47and brighter and it's beautiful When they turn those colors,
- 1:50they just, it's electric. It just our eyes just light up
- 1:53with it. But then what happens is they
- 1:55start to let go and we're going to start that phase all over.
- 1:59Ever again of going into that hunkering down piece of it.
- 2:02And so when you see leaves and they're just, you know, letting
- 2:06go or they're falling, the symbolism in that to me is just
- 2:10so tremendous. Because if you think about it,
- 2:13it's the tree just releasing. And preparing for a new phase.
- 2:18It's not hanging on to something, which is what we do
- 2:21so often. We hang on so tight.
- 2:24We don't want to enter phases or new parts of our lives and we
- 2:27just choke out something great to hang on to something that is
- 2:31essentially dying. Boy, that was a big one, wasn't
- 2:34it? But it really is that symbol and
- 2:37at least it is to me. And I think that when you start
- 2:40to think about how this. Can emotionally align with you
- 2:45and say, OK, the earth is telling me there is a way to let
- 2:50go, knowing there is going to be a rebirth coming.
- 2:53Knowing that I have to go through this as part of the
- 2:56renewing process. I have to say I have to let go
- 3:00of things and watch them fall. I can turn, you know, in the
- 3:03process of it. It's all bright and big and
- 3:05wonderful and then something fades out.
- 3:07Like you might have a project that you're working on and it
- 3:10might be coming to its end and it might be fantastic, but then
- 3:13all of a sudden. Sudden.
- 3:14It's like okay. Well now I need something new or
- 3:16you're bored with it. I mean, that's such a big one.
- 3:18You get bored with parts of things that we're doing and we
- 3:21want to do something more. We've realized we have taken
- 3:24this thing as far as it can go, and then we have to try
- 3:27something new. So we have to move into a new
- 3:29direction with it. And for me, it just is such a
- 3:33powerful thing. Because watching a leaf fall, if
- 3:36you've ever stopped and actually watched a leaf fall off a tree
- 3:39and how, it just kind of. Floats effortlessly down.
- 3:43And it it it's there's zero resistance to it.
- 3:46It's done its course, and then there's zero resistance to it.
- 3:50But in the process of not resisting, it's still beautiful
- 3:53on the ground. It still comes back.
- 3:55And when it breaks down, it renews and turns into food for
- 4:00the tree and comes back as more of the tree.
- 4:04So if you can. Take the symbolism of what it's
- 4:08teaching us and what we're looking at in our life.
- 4:11I I promise you one of the things that this does for me is
- 4:15it really gives me this sense of hope.
- 4:17And it gives me this sense of I can.
- 4:20I can have moments of great, great gratitude for all the
- 4:25phases. I can put myself into this
- 4:28mindset that every single phase of my life, every single bit of
- 4:32my life. There's lessons in all of it.
- 4:35There's beauty in all of it, and I can enjoy it instead of having
- 4:40fear for it or having disdain for it or having pain for it.
- 4:44You know, we go through this often in the chicken coop.
- 4:46The girls are so gorgeous and they have all their beautiful
- 4:49feathers and then they go through molding and they look
- 4:52terrible. They look like homeless chickens
- 4:54because they're just, they've lost a bunch of their feathers.
- 4:56They don't look like they're cared for.
- 4:58They've lost their gloss and their shininess and so.
- 5:02All of a sudden they they seem very, very different.
- 5:05But guess what? It's just two weeks away. 3
- 5:08weeks away they're going to look like brand new, beautiful
- 5:11chickens all over again because boom, all their new feathers pop
- 5:14out. This is the same thing.
- 5:16It's just running through the phases.
- 5:18So enjoy the phase. Take the time to look at the
- 5:21leaves changing. If you're in a spot where that
- 5:23take the time where you look at them fall, because watching them
- 5:25fall from a tree is really beautiful and it's just.
- 5:29Fills your heart. All right, my friends, I hope
- 5:32you have a blessed day and I will see you tomorrow.
- 5:34Bye.
