- 0:13Welcome to the ranch Radio podcast.
- 0:15I'm Jim Watkins. Howard.
- 0:16Katzen is the founder and creator of you.
- 0:18Be the news.com, as well as his latest Venture you be
- 0:22annotated.com. I consider Howard to be a
- 0:25researcher of the finest order of all things.
- 0:28Your aunt, you and certainly A contributor to much of the
- 0:31academic research done over the decades research that validates,
- 0:35the ranch over in this conversation Halbert and I
- 0:39discussed the upcoming solar eclipse and its unique ties to
- 0:43Urantia statements and specifically his views on not
- 0:46hesitate personality. We talked about at length in the
- 0:50previous podcast. And so, let's welcome.
- 0:54However, cats into the show, is from 2006 been working with the
- 0:59and the founder of creation. Creator of the, you be the news
- 1:03project which adds a scholarly approach to studying and
- 1:07Examining The Ranch Revelation, so high, halberd, how are you?
- 1:11I'm doing good. Jim, thanks so much for having
- 1:14me on your show, really appreciate it, but one of the
- 1:16things, one of the reasons that we have you on these podcasts,
- 1:20this will be your third appearance is because we you
- 1:24have always been an inspiration. To me in providing anecdotal are
- 1:29evidence towards the validity, validity of the the papers.
- 1:33And in most recent times, there's a particular event going
- 1:38on right now, which we'll talk about.
- 1:41Out having to do with Melchizedek match, Aventa, who
- 1:46I've become quite a fan of in the last few weeks, and all the
- 1:50reading I've been catching up on, and we're going to expound
- 1:53on who he is. What what, what I think is
- 1:57pretty important stuff because we could be in the middle of the
- 2:01tribulation period And I think Halbert with that introduction,
- 2:06you attended the last solar eclipse that we had back in.
- 2:11In 2017 and you are now living in that area where the solar
- 2:16eclipse occurred, and there's going to be another one in 2024.
- 2:20So can you tell us? First of all, the significance
- 2:24of the eclipse and why you're in Southern Illinois?
- 2:32Well yes, there's a number of questions in that.
- 2:36Of course why I'm here with is significant of it is and how it
- 2:41all converges. And and it's fair to say that
- 2:47being in this area is very much related to a particular branch
- 2:55of research and study AIDs that I've been doing for the last
- 2:59Last few years and you mentioned.
- 3:02I got started almost 15 years ago now or so.
- 3:07With the you be the news project that documented and continues to
- 3:12document how new discoveries in scientific advances are
- 3:18increasingly supporting the history.
- 3:20And Urantia book where the authors of course put their
- 3:24credibility on the line with that aspect of the Revelation,
- 3:28you know, saying that Going to keep catching up to it that way.
- 3:33And, you know, one of the things that sort of known for his doing
- 3:39like research and Reporting and taking a less mystical, you
- 3:44might say, approach to it, not to be cynical about people's
- 3:49personal inner experiences, but I'm more of an academic type.
- 3:56And so the EB, the news project eventually We evolved into a
- 4:01broader annotation project in topical, studies project.
- 4:06And when that type of General work led to a lot of focus on
- 4:12the eclipses because they came up on our radar with such
- 4:19spectacular degrees of intrigue, you know, as relates to the your
- 4:24ration book because the first eclipse in 2017.
- 4:29Is on August 21st, which is Jesus birthday.
- 4:33And the second eclipse on the seven years later is on April 8,
- 4:39which is the day in the team, according to the Urantia book.
- 4:43So and someone who like to do research and annotations and
- 4:49study aids for the ranch of, look, this for obvious reasons,
- 4:55became extremely intriguing. You know, to get started within
- 5:01the more, I looked into the more interesting.
- 5:03It it became so, you know, in short, that's why I really
- 5:12enjoyed to be out here right now.
- 5:15I don't know exactly what the future holds, but as far as the
- 5:21work I do, this is The most fun place to talk to people about it
- 5:27because this is where people are most directly related to the
- 5:33intersecting eclipses. And so, you know, just getting a
- 5:37conversation started that way out here probably get, I don't
- 5:43know what percentage but, you know, probably pretty good
- 5:46percentage of awareness a better awareness than you might get in
- 5:50other areas. So you're talking to people that
- 5:53are familiar with the Rancho book or you are talking to
- 5:57people who are familiar with the when you first found out that
- 6:00the, the second Eclipse which is coming in 2024 and you first
- 6:06just realized, oh wait, that's you know how profound was that
- 6:11what happened? How did you react to that when
- 6:13you first sort of put the pieces together?
- 6:17Right. Well, you know, I think you
- 6:19mentioned during your comments and correctly that I came out
- 6:22here in 2017 for that first Eclipse, but I was living in
- 6:27California at the time, and I moved out here and in mid
- 6:33December of last year of 2021. So, I've just been out here,
- 6:38almost seven months now, I guess.
- 6:39So I guess, I thought that because you were in your
- 6:42newsletter, you were telling people that that you were there
- 6:46for the event. So, I So I falsely assumed that
- 6:49you had made the trip for that specific event.
- 6:51So I stand corrected No, no, I don't think so.
- 6:57I think the first time I made the trip for the event in 2017
- 7:04and then I went back to where I lived in California.
- 7:08I send that first about here was for the event and only for the
- 7:13event. And, you know, I came the event
- 7:15happened. I left seven months ago.
- 7:19I moved out here. Rights.
- 7:21Arising the tea different. Well, it must have made an
- 7:25impact as you came back. Yeah, yes more recently though
- 7:31because I moved out here and is people may not be aware of
- 7:37exactly. And should be said, specifically
- 7:41at the Bald Knob crosses piece, which is almost the exact
- 7:47intersection of the path of these two full solar eclipses on
- 7:52peculiar dates related to Jesus life or important dates related
- 7:55to Jesus life. They built that hundred eleven
- 8:00foot cross is part of having an Easter Sunrise celebration.
- 8:08An Interfaith Easter celebration for people in this community has
- 8:14been going on Bald Knob since the early 30s and then the cross
- 8:22was I guess completed in 1963 the year after I was born.
- 8:28So we're about the same age there and and so, I thought
- 8:37Wouldn't it be nice to get one of those big you do antelope
- 8:43shofars? To take to the Easter Sunrise
- 8:47Service? What's a shofar?
- 8:49What's a shofar? The like a shofar, a
- 8:54hollowed-out animal horn. That is used in judeo.
- 8:59Christian religious ceremonies and celebrations.
- 9:03I see the original far specify Hide in the Old Testament, is a
- 9:09Ram's Horn. And so that's what's blown at
- 9:12the New Year's Russia, China service each year and
- 9:18nonetheless, the to do antelope from Yemen, not too far away.
- 9:25And it's a bigger Longer, more fun type of foreign and just,
- 9:31you know, sort of got adopted into the Christian cultures of
- 9:38religious celebration. Just because So, darn much fun
- 9:44as far as hollowed-out animal there in the sky.
- 9:47You know, what can I say? That's great.
- 9:50You found your passion. Yeah, these kind of things
- 9:58Cohen, which was a descendant of Aaron Moses brother.
- 10:06And so does bear mentioning that I suppose, my ancestors were
- 10:11responsible for For the prophecies in the Old Testament.
- 10:17I'm probably about as directly related to them as well.
- 10:21Kidding. You can get.
- 10:24Yeah. Well, that's what What kind of
- 10:27got fed up 3,000 years ago? And so it's certainly intriguing
- 10:33to me that I started coming around to taking an interest in
- 10:36this after all these years of not taking an interest in it and
- 10:42really kind of moving on from my Jewish roots and in studies that
- 10:48way. And the Urantia book is really
- 10:51brought together Prophecies from the Old Testament and the New
- 10:55Testament and put them together with the revelations of this
- 10:59epochal communication. And, you know, his added
- 11:06richness to the study of all of that.
- 11:10You know, I should have perhaps been more sensitive, two decades
- 11:14ago and I first started reading me Rancho book but you know, it
- 11:19just didn't seem so timely I guess until then.
- 11:23Oops has showed up and then so they're like the most intriguing
- 11:27thing I could think about. So let's talk about that more
- 11:31because that's the whole point that you and I are talking right
- 11:34now. You think that Melchizedek,
- 11:38okay? So first of all, let's explain
- 11:41to those who may not have a wide understanding that we have to
- 11:46set, I guess a couple of premises in order to appreciate
- 11:52the fullness of We're about to discuss one of them is that one
- 11:56of them is that our our world or our place here on this planet is
- 12:02not just random. There Are Spiritual
- 12:05administrators, who care very much about our progress.
- 12:08And they've been here the whole time, and this is what the ranch
- 12:11a book says. And part of this process, is
- 12:13that there is a seraphic, planetary government, which
- 12:17simply states that we are under the watch care and
- 12:20administration of celestial forces.
- 12:23And spiritual personalities, it's nothing more, nothing less,
- 12:26if you want to get into the Weeds about it, but that's the
- 12:28basic, you know, premise that we're took discussing at the
- 12:33head of the table at this time. Is this Persona age named much.
- 12:37Aventa. Melchizedek who is described as
- 12:40a high Son of God Christ is who he serves Michael Jesus, and he
- 12:48was sent here or he came or he has been part of our history for
- 12:52eons of time, which is all detailed in the ranch of papers.
- 12:55But we're going to talk about here is why we believe this
- 12:59person or how bird wants to elaborate perhaps on why these
- 13:04times are significant. Because it, it opens the door to
- 13:09the realization that this Melchizedek may be coming and he
- 13:14met Harold in. A new Epoch and that a lot of
- 13:17what we're going on now. Maybe a, what would you call it?
- 13:22However Dupree. I don't know.
- 13:24Like a precursor but let's go having said all of that.
- 13:29Now it's your turn. So thank you.
- 13:35That's a good foundation. As you're suggesting, you know,
- 13:40it's good to get a little Foundation, all of this, and you
- 13:46know, maybe in that Spirit of it's really kind of going step
- 13:56by step with some ideas and keeping them as accessible as
- 14:03possible and and relevant as possible.
- 14:07Let me just pick up a little more.
- 14:11The blowing the shofar story out here in Southern Illinois
- 14:19because I've been learning a lot about.
- 14:21Indicating with people over the last several months, simply
- 14:25because before the I got the show for about a month before
- 14:31Easter this year, and as shofar is a very unforgiving
- 14:39instrument. I want to tell you, you know,
- 14:42anything it is, you know, maybe a horn of God, but, you know,
- 14:47God is forgiving in the shofar is not you.
- 14:50Either blow Oh that thing, right?
- 14:52Or it just sounds awful and it is so easy to blow it wrong.
- 14:57It takes a lot of focus. So, I didn't want to disturb my
- 15:03neighbors too much. So, I walked away from where I'm
- 15:08living apartments here and, you know, wandered towards the
- 15:12University where they have a power plant and it's always
- 15:16making noise. Anyways, in those an open field
- 15:19nearby wants to be around there and I started to practice a
- 15:24little bit before Easter, but it wasn't very far from where I
- 15:28lived and not enough for exercise.
- 15:30And so I eventually just Well, I just keep walking around campus
- 15:38for the exercise and I still had my shofar with me and I kept
- 15:43blowing, you know, and first I wasn't too comfortable with the
- 15:48whole thing, but increasingly got more comfortable with the
- 15:52whole process of doing it and talking to people about it.
- 15:55And so, both blowing better notes and having better
- 16:02conversations developed Together.
- 16:06And So when people ask me, you know, and they're curious about
- 16:13it and how does that conversation develop?
- 16:16As I mentioned you know it's a cue to Antelope horn and a lot
- 16:21of people just have some curiosity at the basic level of
- 16:27what is it and they don't have any more curiosity much beyond
- 16:33that or time or interest, or whatever and I tend not to To
- 16:39push the conversation about why I'm blowing the horn and, you
- 16:44know, larger aspects of it all. Unless it seems like there's a
- 16:48real opening and increasingly it seems, as I've gotten better
- 16:54with my conversation about this, people are coming up to me with
- 16:58more interest, maybe because it denotes are getting blown better
- 17:01that help. But it gets into conversation
- 17:11about, why am I doing it? And what's it mean to me?
- 17:16And that's where I share with people that I've been doing some
- 17:20research on the eclipses, etre criss-crossing out in this area
- 17:24and its course because I live in the area, it's an easy thing to
- 17:30reference and and I mentioned to them that I've been doing.
- 17:35In some research that seems to unravel that mystery about why
- 17:39the Jews didn't accept Jesus. And that's where milk is it that
- 17:44comes in. And and I mentioned, you know,
- 17:46are you familiar with to Melchizedek is in the Old
- 17:49Testament and a lot of people will say, no, and I'll just
- 17:53mention that Abraham gave money to milk his attack after after a
- 17:58battle, and that in Psalms, it says, the Messiah will come Ever
- 18:05After the order of Melchizedek and let, it's a big mystery and
- 18:09you know, no one really has been able to figure it out very well.
- 18:15And then I told them I've been reading a book for the last 40
- 18:19years that was published about 70 years ago, almost now.
- 18:26And it says that Jesus was born August 21st in the day in the
- 18:31tumors April 8. And those are the dates of the
- 18:34eclipses and England out weird. And and it seems like this
- 18:39Melchizedek figure works for Jesus and is due to come back
- 18:44and Sofia. All the prophecies that Jesus
- 18:47didn't fulfill. And so, you know, in about two
- 18:52minutes time and under to I give people a bunch of information
- 18:58that ties together. The solving of the mystery that
- 19:03everyone cares about to some degree, because the sex the
- 19:07world so much, you know. And so just on that level there
- 19:12is relatedness and Of course, with the eclipse is being local.
- 19:18There's that type of relatedness and I'm of peculiar character
- 19:22walking around with the forefoot shofar and blowing it.
- 19:25So it has a sound that might say really Prime's people for the
- 19:31occasion of the conversation to a large degree even though some
- 19:37people are much more open than others and some people have more
- 19:40of the Judea Christian awareness and others now you're not
- 19:45Wearing a white robe and you're not.
- 19:47Do you have a beard? Are you calling yourself Enoch?
- 19:50Any of that? Kind of, I hope you have a good
- 19:53sense of humor, but your you've created a picture for us.
- 19:57So I think what you're doing. Look at that very well you know
- 20:20but it's interesting because you touch on is something which is
- 20:23that you are through just your natural, your drawing people in
- 20:28and the way that you tell them the story makes it like wow this
- 20:32is kind of interesting. So focus it lets I want to get
- 20:36get to that because this is a big deal you.
- 20:40This is what I know about you, you've been heralding, this
- 20:43message that Then the time is at hand.
- 20:47Do you believe that this is the time at hand?
- 20:52Oh yes, I definitely do this seven year period.
- 20:57We're in a time of tribulation that's referred to and talked
- 21:02about in Christianity and that this seven years between the
- 21:09eclipse is related to the Prophecies of Isaiah that are
- 21:14referenced in the Urantia book along with prophecies from
- 21:19Revelation and why. thanks by Peter, and let's all put
- 21:23together and and it's been a process of You know, figuring
- 21:32out what to believe and my relationship to it all and what
- 21:39to do about it, all has definitely been a very evolving
- 21:45process. That is hardly complete.
- 21:49But still, you know, as I said back in in the approach towards
- 21:59the first Eclipse, I said, I think it's very possible Mac
- 22:03event to milk. His back could show up for the
- 22:07first Eclipse. It's not been bribed by this
- 22:11second eclipse and possibly anywhere.
- 22:14In between, you know the funny thing was when I first became
- 22:21aware of the eclipses, it wasn't on my mind right away that this
- 22:27year. 2021 is the fourth down. Thousand anniversary of milk is
- 22:34a tactic arriving on the planet and you know, starting to teach
- 22:38Abraham and all the people around that area of Israel.
- 22:44So that makes this year and interesting year, I don't know
- 22:50any particular date. You know, is of particular
- 22:55significance. I'm gonna enjoy Celebrating
- 22:59Jesus birthday at the cross. No doubt this coming August.
- 23:05But you know, I don't Really know obviously it's not what I
- 23:12want to say. Most specifically is I don't
- 23:16have mystical experiences where, you know, like I hear a voice,
- 23:22it says, X, Y or Z. I'm just not having those types
- 23:28of experiences. I'm doing research in.
- 23:31The more research I do, the more it suggests The we're in the
- 23:38tribulation period and so that's where it's not that I don't have
- 23:45all kind of weird mystical experiences that have shown up
- 23:49in my life over the years and continue to they're just not of
- 23:54that ilk where, you know, I sit and meditate and talk to God and
- 24:00get answers, you know, it ain't me, right?
- 24:05So, but you have enough facts at your disposal now and you've
- 24:11determined that there is enough, well, share some of that with
- 24:14us. If we know that the dates are
- 24:16interesting because they both were talking about an
- 24:20intersecting seven-year part. Intersecting solar eclipse,
- 24:25which we all remember the last one.
- 24:27But where they intersect is over a, like Howard said, it's over
- 24:30across, which is what are the chances of that happening?
- 24:33What are the chances that too? Two of these.
- 24:36These Northern North America. Is it significant?
- 24:40Should we in America tag? Any significance to the fact
- 24:43that it's a in America? What are we looking for here?
- 24:47What Jesus said, look for the signs of the of the tree leaves?
- 24:52What are the tree leaves, when you're looking at the pandemic?
- 24:56All of that stuff Society breakdown?
- 24:59Yeah, maybe there's a lot of good questions in that first,
- 25:03let me just start with the fun. Little factoid just too.
- 25:09Jump off with one of the first questions that you brought up in
- 25:13this series. And I loved all the questions
- 25:17arranged, but one has to do with the location, in the
- 25:20intersection near the crossing everything.
- 25:23And what I want to add to that is that Like the exact
- 25:29intersection is a bit north and a bit to the east of the Bald,
- 25:35Knob crosses piece and it's in a town called Makanda.
- 25:41And I was doing some research online long day and not
- 25:48surprisingly, there is Christians who have focused
- 25:53their attention on this issue. They didn't need the Urantia
- 25:56book to, you know, make hay out of what's going on.
- 26:00And there's one person was taking a look at all this sale
- 26:06arms. Because, of course, milk is a
- 26:09deck like event to Melchizedek is responsible for Starting
- 26:13Salem which became Jerusalem. Yeah.
- 26:17And so this person was looking for all the towns called Salem
- 26:23along the path of the first eclipse from Oregon to the
- 26:28Carolinas. And you know, Salem Oregon was
- 26:31the first major city or, you know, fairly large town or
- 26:35whatever it is, you're the eclipse path and then there were
- 26:38other states with similar, you know, types of things.
- 26:43But what the freaking weird and fun about it more than anything
- 26:48is the fact that, right? And I mean, right where these
- 26:52eclipses intersect is Salem Road in Makanda.
- 26:58My goodness Salem Road that tiny little road.
- 27:03I mean, it did might be like a quarter mile long or something,
- 27:07you know, and there's just a few houses on it and narrow Lake and
- 27:12You know, there's hardly anything there right and it's
- 27:16not a big old Street. They you know, goes for miles or
- 27:18something and it's just right there on sale over.
- 27:23That is amazing. Yeah, yeah.
- 27:26Now is the next is the next eclipse going to Cross Salem.
- 27:30Massachusetts. Because it's going the opposite
- 27:37way, right? Yeah.
- 27:41And so I don't know how but you know that's the fun factoid, but
- 27:51there is a larger issue to address.
- 27:55You know, I is, am I trying to set some example for people?
- 28:01Hey, come on out here to Southern Illinois because Back
- 28:05event the milk, is it? Let's do the show up here, not
- 28:08there, you know, and I don't know that I have any type of
- 28:15particular message for people that way.
- 28:19It doesn't strike me as particularly consistent with the
- 28:27teachings associated with disinfect.
- 28:30Yeah, so for instance, you know the teachings in the Urantia
- 28:34book, two interrelated different processes and from will do a
- 28:38test and everything. This is what gets us into this
- 28:41stuff where, you know, it says like, you know, to will be in
- 28:45the field. And one will be taken and the
- 28:47other will be left. And you know, like a thief in
- 28:52the night, this will occur and, you know, not the hour, which it
- 28:56comes and and it's more of his General get right with the Lord,
- 29:04you know, there's their own kind of repentance and and You know,
- 29:10just like be prepared for death, the way one should be prepared
- 29:17for death every day. Just because we're mortal and
- 29:20you never know when you get hit by the big bus, right?
- 29:22You know. And so it seems to me that these
- 29:27teachings emphasize This type of thing you know rather than
- 29:36everybody needs to get to some geographic location.
- 29:40I hear what you're saying. You know.
- 29:41That's yeah, it doesn't make sense just because it doesn't
- 29:45make sense for everybody doesn't mean that doesn't make sense for
- 29:49me. Personally, you know, as someone
- 29:52who's doing loads of research on the topic and he's the kind of
- 29:59guy who enjoys to go out with four foot long to Antelope
- 30:04shofar and blow it and talk to people about this stuff, right?
- 30:10Very well suited for yours truly but you know yeah it is not
- 30:18necessarily a monkey. See, monkey do type exercise its
- 30:22being encouraged at all. I don't See myself, as you know,
- 30:29that type of social leader, I see myself as an educator at
- 30:33Harold, right. You know, like that was a great
- 30:36word for it. It's heralding it's like, hey,
- 30:39heads up, you know, this is what's going on.
- 30:43And, you know, here's something that we discussed previously,
- 30:48which is that not that many people know about all these
- 30:51little dots that I call them because they're all there dot.
- 30:55And they connect and they connect in a way that is
- 30:58profoundly coincidental, but not that many people know about it.
- 31:04So it's safe to say that you and I can agree.
- 31:07And maybe people listening, we know the days, maybe we may be
- 31:12similar to the seven crucial years that are mentioned in
- 31:15Revelation pertaining to the war in heaven with quotes, right?
- 31:20So now we're in this Modern Age, you know, is this is this, an
- 31:24age of testing are We making decisions, which determine our
- 31:27future as a human race. Yes we are.
- 31:30Are we going to go down the road of secularist humanism or are we
- 31:35going to, you know, conceive of other kinds of realities and
- 31:40does muc much event to have a role in this that I think?
- 31:44Is your, your bigger question? What is his role in this?
- 31:48So can you write, right? What do you think we're supposed
- 31:52to be doing and is this Clips tied to that decision making
- 31:58process. Are we?
- 31:59In fact in a period where the you know the the what's that
- 32:04metaphor the sower? You know the wheat and the chaff
- 32:08separating the two right? Are we in that kind of period?
- 32:12Yeah yeah. Yes I think that's what's going
- 32:18on and You know, and I put myself right in that category,
- 32:27you know, there's all kind of personal work and I need to do
- 32:31to get right with God. It's just a never-ending.
- 32:38Well, eventually endings get to Perfection, but yeah, this is a
- 32:44sorting out time. And then Mac event to
- 32:46Melchizedek is it seems will arrive when a very dramatic type
- 32:51of Getting out is going to go on.
- 32:54So, let's first deal with the first time period that were in
- 32:58the time of tribulation, the first thing I want to say about
- 33:03this is as much as there are things like pandemics or people
- 33:09are concerned about, you know, the environment and all of this
- 33:15and War and so forth. What really comes to mind is
- 33:22what's taught, about what does it matter?
- 33:25If all things are actually crash and look to the spiritual issues
- 33:29and the reason this seems so obvious.
- 33:32Now an important to say is because when I look at this
- 33:39nation, I see a country at war with itself.
- 33:46Alarm all kind of ideological lines and in deserve fundamental
- 33:53relationships to life and and it's horrible, who's what's
- 34:00going on in the sense that it's truly tearing apart families and
- 34:04friends. And so like the pandemic you
- 34:10know you could call the pandemic or a plan demick.
- 34:12It doesn't matter what your belief is about the nature of
- 34:18the covid and how it got started or what it is or anything like
- 34:22that. What people can tend to agree on
- 34:26quite readily, no matter how they think about that issue, is
- 34:29that people are fighting over it.
- 34:32If you're really fighting over it.
- 34:35Yeah, to just try and deal with it and stay friends with family
- 34:41and friends. And so on this level of
- 34:45spiritual testing, You know, and this is what I mean.
- 34:50It's like it's hard for me to try and figure out how to be
- 34:55cool with everyone and not taking a decision, is that many
- 35:00other? And it's a very testing Tom and,
- 35:05and I think that we really need to acknowledge that.
- 35:10But ourselves that the disc, this is the game where in, you
- 35:15know, this is the game on part of Of it, and it's happening
- 35:19now. And you don't have to wait or
- 35:21wonder, or you know, any of us can probably name 10 family and
- 35:28friends with him. It's very hard to have some
- 35:32discussion about important matters at the day.
- 35:34I would agree, right? Yes.
- 35:36Yes. All right.
- 35:37And that's tragic. That's a heartbreak.
- 35:42And that that is in the way. This is affecting children and
- 35:47everybody Young. Old, all reasons, male female,
- 35:51you know, we're in this together and its immense.
- 35:54And so one of the things that I mentioned to people when I go
- 35:58out and do the herald and I talk to people about how Mak event to
- 36:04Melchizedek works for Jesus, and the reason that there were
- 36:10prophecies for Jesus coming and then prophecies for Melchizedek
- 36:14coming back at has to do with. Why did you choose weren't
- 36:19satisfied with Jesus mission? That is they wanted the mess
- 36:23cleaned up now. They were like willing to be
- 36:26patient about it. You know, they'd heard about
- 36:29these other prophecies, new heaven, new Earth, righteous
- 36:33judge, but yeah, bring it on, you know, and they were getting
- 36:38that from Jesus. But what I explained to people
- 36:41is Jesus came with the message for how we can do
- 36:46self-correction. And they people need to do what
- 36:52they already know they should do.
- 36:56The basic difference between right wrong being selfish versus
- 37:00being in service and you know, all kind of stuff like busy
- 37:06people have trouble. Finding the courage and the
- 37:10faith in the belief but it's I'm suggesting not so much an issue
- 37:17of really having a knowledge or understanding appreciation for
- 37:23how to live a better life. All of us have so many areas
- 37:29where we can look and go where I could look much better like that
- 37:32area. You know, I know I'm not the
- 37:35only one, I'm definitely wanted a lot of growth. to do, and Mac
- 37:42event, Melchizedek is going to show up in by his presence.
- 37:49And by saying to people hey y'all need to read the your
- 37:52answer book, get your heads together, get right with
- 37:56science, get your ideologies out of the way of backs, you know.
- 38:04this is where, you know, people understand that there is time
- 38:10for self correction and then there's time for, you know, wait
- 38:14till your father gets home and in this case, Mac event to knock
- 38:17his attacker Bice, Jaron planetary, Prince is Our
- 38:22planetary, father. No in this regard.
- 38:28Is there enough time to get your opinion on how you think
- 38:31Christians would react to something like this?
- 38:35I mean would they be? that works for Jesus, and that
- 38:58the reason The Jews didn't accept Jesus was because of what
- 39:04I just got done explaining to you.
- 39:05I explained that to Christians. I try to be brief and succinct
- 39:09as I can about it. You know, just take a minute and
- 39:13the general concept is received glass Fleet.
- 39:17Like it's like big news, you know, people are happy as
- 39:20Christians to hear some new thoughts about.
- 39:25Why did you didn't accept Jesus that goes down easy?
- 39:29You know what I mean? Like, you did just now.
- 39:31Make friends that way, right? People feel something's up this
- 39:51world is getting weird and tense and tribulation people feel in
- 39:57all kinds of ways. No matter what they believe or
- 39:59don't believe, but, The predicting Jesus is going to
- 40:07return. Has happened so many times.
- 40:13And based upon people's interpretation of the prophecy.
- 40:19That there is an ear for it anymore.
- 40:23Exactly. You know why people have some
- 40:26openness to it? Because times are what they are,
- 40:30but at the same time, they've heard it all before.
- 40:32And so if you come to people with your new interpretation of
- 40:37the prophecies and the sons of the tongues, and why Jesus is
- 40:40coming back, it is more of the same old story that way and then
- 40:46Melchizedek angle. Liberates.
- 40:49The story from being the same old, same old story, and It's
- 40:55great. And there's also a Biblical
- 40:57reference, which which helps because yes, well, other is
- 41:02people love to have a mystery solved.
- 41:07People just like that. It's a natural human thing.
- 41:09Yeah. And so when it's presented as my
- 41:13research has helped me, solve the mystery as compared to I was
- 41:18meditating and God told me the secrets of the universe, right?
- 41:22Yeah. Yeah.
- 41:23Beautiful things, right? It's much easier for people to
- 41:28hear. I was doing a bunch of research
- 41:31and it suggests to me this. And if you want to follow up on
- 41:35my research, here's a car. You know, when I publish my
- 41:38research for free. So, you know, you know, it's
- 41:43important in these conversations.
- 41:48To be able to establish ones credibility and interest in
- 41:54various kinds of ways. You know, it's just like any
- 41:57conversation and the fact that I'm not selling anything or
- 42:03encouraging people to join anything or you know, to follow
- 42:07me and some, you know, particular way, you know, that's
- 42:12one of the refreshing abuse. Yes.
- 42:16Yes. It's so refreshing.
- 42:18The heck life have these big hurdle these like really
- 42:22challenging hurdles, heralding is in the wonderfully, simple
- 42:28job. That way, you know, you open up
- 42:31your mouth. It's like I came.
- 42:34I conquered I like nobody cared but I did the announcing
- 42:48Fortunately is a pretty low bar for Success, you know?
- 42:54Yeah, so that's nice. It's it's, there's never enough
- 43:04time. But the thing the walk away
- 43:07message here is that these are significant times and you know
- 43:13we don't know where all of this is headed.
- 43:16But if you believe there's order in the universe then there is an
- 43:21outcome, right? So the question is, you know, do
- 43:26we continue to do things as we're doing them now or do we
- 43:28take a good hard look at it where we're headed as a result
- 43:32of the way that we do things now which is you know, corporate
- 43:36greed corporate interest over. You know then you've got the
- 43:40political angle, there's so many different isms right now in the
- 43:43world. it's almost as if it's like during the Dark Ages when
- 43:48there were all these different Pagan beliefs and there was just
- 43:53massive confusion and Almost everybody was in poverty and it
- 43:58seems like we're heading back in that direction and the Rancher
- 44:01book and probably the Bible says you know it's usually through
- 44:05suffering that we come to answers, we seek for answers so
- 44:10maybe that's what this is all about is just getting so sick of
- 44:12ourselves that we actually start asking the right questions which
- 44:17is what are we really supposed to be doing here?
- 44:19I would love to see Melchizedek or Jesus or somebody come down
- 44:23from the heavens. I don't think people could
- 44:25handle it. I think they would freak out.
- 44:28I don't know what they would do. But it's possible and that's
- 44:32what we're talking about here, right?
- 44:35Yeah, you know, to whatever degree that people freak out
- 44:40about dying, is basically a measure of the degree.
- 44:45They would freak out about, you know.
- 44:49God showing up. Yeah, right.
- 44:51That's a good way to put it. Yeah, very nice chair.
- 44:55Princess, you know, like you told that same sort of dramatic,
- 45:00Coming. Well, we appreciate you joining
- 45:08us this time up. And again, you be the news.com
- 45:13for more information on how Alberta his writings and his
- 45:15research and collected research as well.
- 45:19Great conversation this time up on the Rancher Radio podcast.
- 45:32Hey Jim sorry man. My Skype disconnected, we're
- 45:35back. Sorry we're good anyway so we
- 45:39could pick up and I'll just edit the little dead are here.
- 45:42But yeah, sorry. Continue on with you or saying
- 45:46about, you know, you know how people will react if there was a
- 45:52second coming or a coming of a Divine being, right, right.
- 46:02How out of sorts people would be if not kids.
- 46:06Haddock showed up is very similar thing.
- 46:10You know one of the things I said sometimes is that it's like
- 46:14singing Alien when it comes to dealing with the Urantia book in
- 46:20these types of dramatic events and and so forth is it it's a
- 46:25lot easier to believe that aliens exist than it is to
- 46:28actually see one, right? Yeah.
- 46:33And then people can be very comfortable with the belief and
- 46:37very uncomfortable with the actuality of it and that's just
- 46:42one of the billiard things about like that way.
- 46:45You know and we expected. Yeah we want them to show up
- 46:49looking like Chewbacca or that alien at the end of Close
- 46:53Encounters you know and then we'll be all happy and shake
- 46:56their you know but it's not going to be that way.
- 46:59I have long contended that that's the missing link that
- 47:02people. Don't understand is that they're
- 47:03the universe is populated by intelligent beings, but they're
- 47:07spiritual, you know, we all expect that.
- 47:11You know, materialism is just it, that's it.
- 47:14Everything is material. You know, but that's not the
- 47:17case. The other thing I want to
- 47:21address and I'll just kind of brought up with your questions,
- 47:26and, you know, how do people relate to this and the times
- 47:30that were in and all Love it. One of the most complex
- 47:37challenging topical studies that I've taken on, I'm in the middle
- 47:41of right now and it's on Saints prophets, seers and Harold's.
- 47:49And I said about look at how the world and the Rancher book
- 47:56defines these terms and interrelates them and how they
- 47:59change over time and the sort of subcategories within age Group.
- 48:04And there's just so much there and moving parts that really
- 48:08gets kind of complex. But one thing that really jumped
- 48:13out to me in particular, as I didn't doing this research and
- 48:20like you know, reading about the profits going out there and
- 48:23smashing the idols of ball and you know, didn't have hardly any
- 48:29time to teach because there was so much idle smashing to do and
- 48:32everything. and, And I thought to myself, you know what?
- 48:43Prophets in Interfaith that they don't go together.
- 48:48Profits and Interfaith don't go together.
- 48:53Jesus encouraged us to be living prophets, or at least he
- 48:57encouraged the apostles that way.
- 48:59Yeah. And certainly have a point there
- 49:01to make about it all that is for everybody regarding how truth is
- 49:08not about to taste for one generation in withheld from
- 49:11another and that we need to progressively work with the
- 49:14truth that were given and all of that stuff, right?
- 49:18Yeah. You know, we're supposed to kind
- 49:22of be Progressive that way. And in the inner Faith
- 49:29mentality, I think has great value.
- 49:36And is honored for its great value.
- 49:41In the year Rancho book but it's time period specific and that's
- 49:46what people are missing right now.
- 49:49So in other words, when you're in a time period of more gradual
- 49:56evolutionary growth, the Interfaith sensibility and
- 50:02mentality is a great value, wonderful important.
- 50:07And this is where the ranch book talks about how the, earlier,
- 50:13the early followers of Jesus did not do so well at symboi Titans.
- 50:18Interfaith school and, you know, were overly aggressive and
- 50:23proselytizing in honoring, the Interfaith sentiment and it
- 50:28break things up. And isn't that too bad?
- 50:30And yes, that's too bad but that's not the time period.
- 50:35We're in the right now. And if Jesus was around Sim
- 50:41boynton's school at the time, he was doing his public Ministry, I
- 50:46wouldn't suggest it would have all looked very different,
- 50:49that's a good point. Yeah.
- 50:52And so we forget that, you know, and I'm going to say now that
- 50:57we're in this time period Of not only having an ethical
- 51:00Revelation, but in the tribulation period to boot, you
- 51:04know, 65 years later. And in the middle of the
- 51:07tribulation with the new ethical Revelation, I'm not so sure.
- 51:12The Interfaith sentiment is the appropriate context for the time
- 51:18period. I think we need to give that a
- 51:20new book. That's interesting.
- 51:22Yeah you know because there is a problem with it, it's not
- 51:26because there aren't a bunch of good intentions and values and
- 51:31and ways of communicating you know which still have meaning
- 51:36and relevance today even in these times, but I think what we
- 51:41need to my favorite line in the book and I mean to interrupt,
- 51:45but I think this capsule eights, it is the line of the very
- 51:49beginning where it says, the time has come to make Frank
- 51:52statements Yeah, yeah, yeah. The time has come.
- 52:01It's stopped playing. Let's Pretend who has the best
- 52:04religion and let's get to the facts.
- 52:07Yeah, yeah thanks, right. And so, you know, this is where
- 52:14Heralding. You know, is a relevant issue to
- 52:20consider and and Outreach for the fifth epochal Revelation is
- 52:26heralding, right? It's announcing That Something
- 52:30official is shown up and hey, you know, whether I'm blowing a
- 52:34show for not, you know, your Ranch a book Outreach, is that
- 52:39type of You know activity. Yeah, and now that we're in the
- 52:44time period we're in. You know, there's additional
- 52:49heralding work to do. I've been doing it for years
- 52:55now, it's just a matter of evolutionary, you know,
- 53:03development with the topic. Now I moved out here running
- 53:07around with the shofar blowing up and doing stuff like that and
- 53:11hang a Herald true Harold. Great You know, it's in your
- 53:17genes man. My birth name is Harold.
- 53:25No, I changed album. I was always called Hal and then
- 53:29friends at College started to call me Halbert and it got
- 53:33changed to how Gruden organic way that way.
- 53:37But my birth name is Harold. Well, you considering going back
- 53:42to that? Are you considering changing
- 53:45back to it? No step stay with Hal, kind of
- 53:58confusing to have it and, you know, now maybe that kind of
- 54:02regretted your doctor. I don't care anymore.
- 54:04But well, yeah, you know, by any name, I'm still doing what I'm
- 54:09doing. And I think this is where I
- 54:12wanted to mention is that for the, your answer community and
- 54:17for your answer of the Believers, Yes.
- 54:23I'm now a challenging figure to deal with because of what it
- 54:27teaches about another and greater, John the Baptist.
- 54:32I'm within the context of Urantia book teachings, if
- 54:38someone doesn't believe that we're in a time period, where we
- 54:44would be looking for another and greater, John, the Baptist
- 54:48anyways then it's just an academic issue. but for people
- 54:54who do believe that were in that time period, They've got a
- 54:59little bit more to address themselves to in terms of my
- 55:03rolling on this and so do I and that's going to be very
- 55:08challenging for all of us in different ways but as a
- 55:13practical matter, people are just going to have to look and
- 55:16go. Well if I don't think it's
- 55:19Halbert to is it is it nobody the person hasn't shown up yet
- 55:24and if they do show up, what kind of credentials are they
- 55:29going to have that are so especially different than the
- 55:32fact that I've been like doing this stuff for years already and
- 55:37I've been dedicated to the year at Revelation for 40 plus years
- 55:40now and you know, and so there's going to be this sort of
- 55:44practical level of analysis of comparative analysis where it's
- 55:52hard to imagine someone coming out of the woodwork.
- 55:57Being effective in the world and it's hard to imagine who else is
- 56:04out there that we might know already is really trying to be
- 56:07Contender this way. Anyways, you know?
- 56:11Yeah. So that's sort of Just at the
- 56:18Killy arity. What's going on right now that
- 56:21we all got to deal with and find our own, you know, place in
- 56:26relationship to it. Right.
- 56:28I've owns a very comprehensive study of the issue, you know,
- 56:36like, in other words, what would it mean for another and greater?
- 56:39John the Baptist to show up. Well, what are all the different
- 56:43characteristics of the first one so that you could do something?
- 56:47Aaron, you know, like we're his genetics.
- 56:50What were his education? What was his temperament?
- 56:54What were his beliefs? You know?
- 56:58Etc. You can just like go down the
- 57:00line and try to think of every aspect of a person's life that
- 57:07would be relevant to what they're doing.
- 57:10And you know the comparative like just think comparatively
- 57:16about it. That's been a very interesting
- 57:21exercise to do that. I'm in the middle of still, I'll
- 57:23tell you. You know how well that's an
- 57:25important decision to make. You know I think though remember
- 57:31that you know, even in when we talk about the Baptist he
- 57:37himself was a great heraldry Of the the Sun but he also saw the
- 57:42least in other words he he was not a happy man, so he did not
- 57:47enjoy the fruits of what he believed in, you know, and
- 57:53understand what I'm saying. So, even though, he may have
- 57:55been the greatest of the prophets, he was the one that
- 57:59probably was the most miserable. Because he was so preoccupied
- 58:04with the job that he forgot. It's kind of like, at the end of
- 58:07The Book of Eli. Did you ever see that movie with
- 58:09Denzel Washington where he says, at the end, because he's
- 58:13protecting the last Bible on the world in the world and he gets
- 58:18to the destination and he says, I was so busy protecting the
- 58:21book, I never actually thought to read it.
- 58:26Appreciate it or live the truth. So, whatever your mission is,
- 58:30you know, God bless you, and what you're doing is great and
- 58:33that's why we wanted to have you on.
- 58:36So maybe in some small way we can Enlighten a few people.
- 58:40So that's the point. And yes, that is the point.
- 58:46You know, that's what heralding is about is, it's about calling
- 58:49attention to something else, not really?
- 58:52Yeah, oneself, you know, Necessarily as someone's
- 58:56heralding? Yeah, some attention is on them,
- 59:00but the whole point is, hey, you might want to take an interest
- 59:05in this here. Fifth book of Revelation.
- 59:07Yeah, you know, it's only practical matter if I do my
- 59:12heralding. Well, in combination with my
- 59:16studying's people, really don't have to talk to me after they've
- 59:21met me once. You know, because the website
- 59:27can, as, you know, just countless hours of research that
- 59:30someone can do if they're new to all of this, they'll be busy for
- 59:34a lifetime following up with all this study AIDS in the whole
- 59:39text of the Rancher book and all of it, you know, it's not really
- 59:42like I need to do anything more than the introduction.
- 59:50You know, you want to whet their appetite.
- 59:53Right. So yeah, yeah.
- 59:55Thanks for all of us that way. But I think you know what's easy
- 1:00:01for me and hard for other people is that it's very easy for me to
- 1:00:07point people to my website. It's mine, right?
- 1:00:12Yeah. It's my work.
- 1:00:16And it validates. My conversation with people is
- 1:00:20someone who's involved and Has some bona fide.
- 1:00:24He's you know, has Merit, right? Yeah.
- 1:00:28Well, you've always been that way.
- 1:00:30You have a scholarly approach and you were you have a Judicial
- 1:00:33background and so I think your Insight gives that it it's an
- 1:00:37intellectual approach to a spiritual Revelation which you
- 1:00:41and I share that, by the way, we don't have the same Bona, fides,
- 1:00:46but, you know, you're aware how the ranch of community is know,
- 1:00:50as, you know, like a herd of cats Or very independent-minded.
- 1:00:55Yeah, sure. And so even even though the ubn
- 1:01:01attended website has more study AIDS material about Melchizedek
- 1:01:07in the eclipses and it's all put their together like nobody else
- 1:01:12has. It doesn't matter.
- 1:01:15People don't want to actually send people to my website or
- 1:01:18your Ranch ebook readers. They you know I can tell from
- 1:01:22how this works. X and that's unfortunate.
- 1:01:26Well, it is, that fortunate. Yeah, we talked about because
- 1:01:30this is where people stay up to be, as effective as they can be
- 1:01:35in their Outreach conversation. Because when you don't have the
- 1:01:39credentials yourself for to say, to someone hate follow up on my
- 1:01:45work, my work is worth following up on, then the very next best
- 1:01:51thing, you know. To do is to say you should
- 1:01:55follow up on his so-and-so's work, I'd check out their work,
- 1:01:58you know their works great that's what you know help me
- 1:02:02talk to you about it. Right.
- 1:02:03And and so a reference is the natural thing to do in any
- 1:02:10conversation of this nature where you're trying to interest
- 1:02:13somebody in something new. But there's actually an obstacle
- 1:02:19is social barrier, a psychological barrier that goes
- 1:02:23on with this stuff. And and that's where I was, you
- 1:02:28know, bringing up the for that's why I brought up this issue
- 1:02:31about, it's going to be hard on the erection Community to try to
- 1:02:37work with the idea of me being in a role that is talked about,
- 1:02:44particularly Because it's just too darn intimidating.
- 1:02:49And it's like what we were saying earlier in that the
- 1:02:52conversation about believing in the alien versus sing one,
- 1:02:57right? So it's very easy comfortable
- 1:03:01for you. Ratchet book, readers to believe
- 1:03:03that someday there will be another and greater John, the
- 1:03:07Baptist. It's a miserable death tax, and
- 1:03:13think about it for real. I actually had someone
- 1:03:16considering, you know, in the consideration for it, that makes
- 1:03:20your engine book readers. Very uncomfortable, where is the
- 1:03:22belief is very comfortable. so, you know, this is Part of our
- 1:03:30tribulation. Yeah.
- 1:03:33Right. This is where we have to kind of
- 1:03:35sort our own soul so and figure out who we are and all of this
- 1:03:39and why and what we believe and why don't we think and why, and
- 1:03:42how do we get clear in our thoughts?
- 1:03:45And, and perhaps, most importantly effective with each
- 1:03:51other and our relationships. Yeah, because that's what a real
- 1:03:55talking about here is. How do we get to a true?
- 1:04:01We experience and all of this. Right now, we're people look at
- 1:04:07the year at your community, who are near to it.
- 1:04:10You know, what do they see? Particularly, if it relates to
- 1:04:15this issue of signs of the times you tribulation, like, if you're
- 1:04:20just talking, generally Ranch, look Outreach stuff, and not,
- 1:04:24Into this aspect of the conversations one thing.
- 1:04:28But if this is what's coming up and is part of the conversation,
- 1:04:32then, You know, that's kind of a new ball of wax and you know,
- 1:04:39the obvious main organizations unless your actual greeters
- 1:04:44don't want to highlight any of this, any more than they want to
- 1:04:48highlight issues related to gender or race.
- 1:04:53It's all part of that same kind of challenge that the Ranch
- 1:04:58Community has with the teachings of the book.
- 1:05:00It doesn't matter whether it's gender race, or another and
- 1:05:05greater John, the Baptist. People in the community are
- 1:05:11challenged with the beliefs and ideologies of the day, and the
- 1:05:15mix between it all. And it's How exciting?
- 1:05:21Yeah. Well there's a lot to unpack
- 1:05:24here and we have to go because it's long and we've been doing
- 1:05:29some good conversation now for a little bit more than an hour and
- 1:05:32I appreciate you joining me. You be the news.com I have no

- 1:05:47ranch Radio podcast, my guest Howard Katz.
- 1:05:49And, and it's, you be the news.com any clothes?
- 1:05:54Yeah. Closing comment is when I
- 1:05:58changed the nature of the project from you.

- 1:06:13that redirection is slow and clunky and people get frustrated

- 1:06:25website has been brought into the UV.
