  You know, you don't have to have a

  prophet to tell you that people's toxic

  words, they can affect you. They can be
• 1:01
  curses. They can be just insults.
• 1:05
  Words have power. Words are containers
• 1:07
  of power. And I thought this particular
• 1:11
  wisdom from the Holy Spirit was really
• 1:13
  on target for today's broadcast. The
• 1:16
  Holy Spirit said something to me many
• 1:18
  years ago and it's in the Bible, but he
• 1:19
  expounded on it to me and I want to
• 1:21
  share it with you because it's more real
• 1:24
  than we sometimes think. We don't often
• 1:26
  think of these things. I do, but you
• 1:28
  might not. So, put on your spiritual
• 1:29
  ears. Here's what I heard the Lord say.
• 1:32
  When people persecute you for Jesus's
• 1:34
  sake, turn the anger you feel into
• 1:37
  prayer power. Instead of stewing over
• 1:40
  the negative words they're speaking
• 1:41
  against you, break the word curses by
• 1:45
  the authority of your king and launch
• 1:47
  into prayer. Launch into prayer for your
• 1:50
  persecutors.
• 1:52
  Bless those who curse you. Bless and
• 1:54
  curse not, says the Lord. Move in the
• 1:56
  spirit opposite to the spirit that's
• 2:00
  moving against you. Then you will truly
• 2:03
  be like Christ. you will manifest his
• 2:05
  love for your enemies and your anointed
• 2:07
  prayers may set them free. Now, that's a
• 2:10
  very mature, of course, that's the Holy
• 2:12
  Ghost. That's God talking. That's a very
• 2:14
  mature stance to take to move in the
• 2:17
  opposite spirit when they're cursing you
• 2:19
  to have enough love in your heart to
• 2:21
  say, you know what, I know they don't
• 2:23
  know what they're doing. They they may
• 2:26
  they may know that they're cursing me,
• 2:27
  but they don't know the repercussions of
• 2:28
  what of the seed they're sewing. Because
• 2:31
  when you sow curses, you reap curses.
• 2:34
  When you sow blessing, you reap
• 2:36
  blessing. You reap what you sow and more
• 2:38
  than what you sowed. And so if you want
• 2:40
  to be like Jesus, bless those who curse
• 2:42
  you. Amen. Don't don't take it
• 2:45
  personally. Don't get in your head about
• 2:47
  it. Let the Lord move on your heart and
• 2:50
  on your mouth to speak blessings. Break
• 2:52
  the curses,
• 2:54
  but then speak blessings over yourself
• 2:56
  and over them. Why? Because that's what
• 2:58
  Jesus would do. And we want to be like

  just a moment because toxic words, they
• 6:33
  don't just sting in the moment if you
• 6:36
  let them. They can lodge in your soul
• 6:39
  like splinters and shape the way you see
• 6:41
  yourself. And you know, even the way you
• 6:43
  approach relationships or the way you
• 6:45
  expect God to move in your life. These
• 6:47
  toxic words, they've got to be cast out.
• 6:50
  And I don't know, maybe it was a parent
• 6:51
  who spoke in anger when you were a kid
• 6:53
  or a leader who was just out of control
• 6:55
  or even a spouse who, you know, spoke in
• 6:58
  contempt. Or what about a friend who was
• 7:00
  jealous?
• 7:01
  Or maybe it was a just a long season
• 7:03
  where people just kept saying the same
• 7:05
  thing about you until it started to
• 7:07
  sound like the truth. But listen, not
• 7:10
  every word spoken over you deserves a
• 7:14
  place in you. And scriptur is clear.
• 7:16
  Words do carry weight. Proverbs 18:21.
• 7:19
  You know the drill. Death and life are
• 7:21
  in the power of the tongue. And Jesus
• 7:24
  warned that. People going to give
• 7:25
  account for every idle word they speak.
• 7:27
  Matthew 12:36. Words are not harmless.
• 7:32
  They are like seeds. They can plant lies
• 7:35
  in your soul. They can become
• 7:38
  strongholds in your mind. And you know,
• 7:41
  we have to be mindful not to take in
• 7:43
  these words. Let it roll off your back
• 7:46
  like water off a duck's back. Amen. But
• 7:50
  you know when don't get too amped up
• 7:52
  because toxic words are not stronger
• 7:54
  than the word of God. And what the enemy
• 7:57
  tried to use as a weapon, the Lord can
• 7:59
  turn into a witness. He really can. So,

  I I really want you to discern what
• 8:05
  you're dealing with here because some
• 8:07
  toxic words, listen, they're just the
• 8:09
  overflow of someone's brokenness. And
• 8:11
  they're just speaking out of the
• 8:12
  abundance of their heart. Matthew 12:34.
• 8:15
  People speak from what's in them. And
• 8:18
  and and sometimes sometimes it is more
• 8:20
  than immaturity. Sometimes it's flatout
• 8:22
  accusation or it's manipulation or it's
• 8:25
  a curselike pronouncement meant to label
• 8:28
  you or limit you or lock you into
• 8:30
  identity. an identity that contradicts
• 8:32
  God's design. So, you know, we've got to
• 8:36
  understand the power of words. But the
• 8:38
  good news is we have authority over
• 8:39
  them. The only thing is you can't break
• 8:42
  what you keep agreeing with. You can't
• 8:44
  renounce toxic words while you keep
• 8:46
  repeating them over yourself like a
• 8:47
  prophecy or rolling them around your
• 8:48
  head. What they said about you, who
• 8:49
  cares what they said about you. What
• 8:50
  does God say about you? Amen. I want you
• 8:53

  today because you are good. There's no

  God like you, Jesus. No one as awesome
• 9:22
  as you, as mighty as you, as holy as
• 9:24
  you. We give you praise and we honor
• 9:26
  you, Jesus. We do. We honor you because
• 9:29
  you have good things to speak over us.
• 9:31
  You have blessed us with every uh
• 9:33
  spiritual blessing in the heavenly
• 9:35
  places. You have recreated us. We are
• 9:37
  new creatures in Christ and we look like
• 9:39
  Jesus in the spirit. We are one with
• 9:41
  you. And we thank you Lord for that
• 9:43
  oneness that that unity that we have our
• 9:46
  spirit with your spirit. We are one.
• 9:49
  So we we do we forgive every toxic word
• 9:53
  that people spoke over our lives in the
• 9:56
  name of Jesus and we repent for perhaps
• 10:00
  if we have spoken toxic words over
• 10:02
  somebody else's life and didn't even
• 10:04
  think twice about it. Lord we repent. We
• 10:06
  don't want to be like the people we
• 10:08
  don't have like the people who are
• 10:10
  hurting us. We want to rise above it.
• 10:13
  And Lord, all those who have just felt
• 10:16
  the sting of cruel words, toxic words,
• 10:20
  Lord, I ask you, Lord, to wash them with
• 10:22
  the water of your word. Encounter their
• 10:24
  hearts with your love and help them see
• 10:26
  themselves the way that they really are
• 10:29
  in Christ. And we do, we forgive every
• 10:32
  person who use their tongue as a weapon
• 10:36
  against us in Jesus name. We bless them.
• 10:38
  We release them, Lord. We ask you to
• 10:40
  bless them. We release every offender
• 10:44
  into your hands, Lord. Show them mercy,
• 10:46
  Lord. Show them mercy, God. Show them
• 10:49
  mercy, God, in the name of Jesus. And
• 10:51
  Lord, I ask you to help your people to
• 10:53
  to just let go of any bitterness, to let
• 10:56
  go of any resentment, to let go of any
• 10:58
  anger that's in their heart because of
• 11:00
  what someone said to them, whether it
• 11:02
  was in their childhood or in their
• 11:03
  workplace or in their church, and even
• 11:06
  words they spoke to themselves. And
• 11:08
  father, we cancel every agreement that
• 11:12
  we may have made, whether we did it
• 11:15
  knowingly or unknowingly. We cancel
• 11:18
  every agreement we made with toxic words
• 11:21
  spoken against us, about us, directly to
• 11:24
  us, behind our back in Jesus name. We
• 11:27
  break agreement. We are not going to
• 11:29
  agree with carnal words, with demonic
• 11:31
  words that are spoken over us. We agree
• 11:34
  with your word. Amos 3:3, "How can two
• 11:36
  walk together unless they are agreed?"
• 11:39
  And we we choose to walk with you. We
• 11:41
  choose to walk the narrow path. We
• 11:43
  choose to walk worthy of our calling
• 11:45
  because you have made it possible
• 11:47
  through the blood of Jesus and and the
• 11:49
  grace that you've poured out upon us,
• 11:51
  God. We choose to extend our faith to
• 11:54
  walk with you and speak your words over
• 11:56
  our life to bless ourselves. We renounce
• 11:59
  every label that contradicts your truth
• 12:02
  about us in Jesus name. We reject all
• 12:06
  identity that was formed by criticism.
• 12:08
  People telling us, "Well, you're no good
• 12:09
  at that. Well, what's the matter with
• 12:11
  you? Can't you do anything right?" We
• 12:13
  reject all those words that tried to
• 12:15
  shape and morph and twist our identity.
• 12:18
  Our identity is rooted in Christ. That
• 12:22
  is our reality. What the word says about
• 12:24
  us is what we grab hold of and adopt and
• 12:27
  speak over ourselves and live by. We
• 12:29
  refuse to rehearse what they said over
• 12:31
  what God said. It doesn't matter what
• 12:34
  they said. I thank you Lord that their
• 12:35
  words are falling to the ground in Jesus
• 12:38
  name. But your word, it edifies us. It
• 12:41
  comforts us. It it it strengthens us. I
• 12:44
  thank you for it in the name of Jesus.
• 12:46
  So we break the power of accusation over
• 12:50
  our mind in Jesus name. I silence that
• 12:54
  voice of guilt. I silence that voice of
• 12:56
  shame. I silence that voice of
• 12:58
  condemnation that tries to speak to you
• 13:00
  in the name of Jesus. We renounce all
• 13:03
  shame spoken into our soul. We will not
• 13:05
  be ashamed of ourselves that Jesus bore
• 13:08
  our shame. So I thank you Lord. A and we
• 13:11
  break that that spell of humiliation in
• 13:15
  Jesus name. That public humiliation that
• 13:18
  some of you suffered. I break that
• 13:19
  spell. I break that that that reproach.
• 13:22
  I thank you Lord that you roll away the
• 13:24
  reproach of humiliation in the name of
• 13:27
  Jesus. In the name of Jesus. We renounce
• 13:31
  every lie that says we're too much in
• 13:33
  Jesus name. We renounce the lie that
• 13:36
  says we're not enough in Jesus name. We
• 13:39
  renounce the lie that says we are
• 13:41
  unlovable
• 13:43
  in Jesus name. We renounce the lie that
• 13:46
  says we're unwanted. I thank you Lord.

  You want us and that's all that matters.

  I I renounce the lie that says we are

  rejected. We are accepted in the
• 13:55
  beloved. I renounce that lie. We

  renounce the lie that says we'll always

  fail. We will not fail. We have victory

  always, always, always leads us into

  triumph in Christ Jesus and always gives

  I nullify words that try to cap our

  calling in Jesus name. I reject every

  word that tried to shrink our purpose in

  Jesus name. We cancel words like you'll

  never change. Th those those toxic words

  spoken over our life. We cancel them in

  the name of Jesus. We cancel words like

  God can't use you that were spoken over
• 14:34
  our life. We cancel words that say
• 14:37
  you'll never succeed. We are success in
• 14:40
  Christ. We cancel
• 14:42
  words that say you'll always be alone.
• 14:45
  You are never alone. God is with you.
• 14:48
  Emmanuel, he will never leave you or
• 14:50
  forsake you even to the end of the age.

  We cancel words that say you're a
• 14:54
  mistake over our lives and that
• 14:56
  rejection that flows with it. We cancel
• 14:59
  uh the words like like you don't belong.

  We cancel all those wicked toxic words
• 15:05
  over our lives in the name of Jesus. In
• 15:09
  the name of Jesus. Lord, we uproot every
• 15:12
  seed planted in our soul by toxic
• 15:16
  speech. and not just planted in our
• 15:18
  soul, but but toxic words spoken about
• 15:20
  us to others that cause them to to see
• 15:23
  us in ways that are not even real. The
• 15:26
  accusations, the all that, we break it
• 15:28
  in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, expose
• 15:32
  any hidden agreements that we have made
• 15:35
  with lies that were spoken about us so
• 15:38
  that we can further and deeply renounce
• 15:40
  them in the name of Jesus. And Lord,
• 15:42
  deliver us from from any abusive words
• 15:47
  that we've internalized, that we've
• 15:48
  taken on as reality when they were just
• 15:51
  manipulating us. They were just they
• 15:53
  were just they were just trying to
• 15:56
  control us. They were gaslighting us. We
• 15:59
  we deliver us from those those seeds,
• 16:01
  Lord. Uproot it in the name of Jesus.
• 16:02
  And Lord, heal the soul of your people.
• 16:06
  the souls from from verbal wounds,
• 16:10
  those words that just cut so deep that
• 16:13
  they still think about them today. And
• 16:15
  Lord, restore our confidence
• 16:18
  in those places in our life where the
• 16:20
  words just broke us down. Those words
• 16:23
  just just broke us down, just left their
• 16:25
  mark, just burned our soul. Restore our
• 16:28
  joy, where the where the words just
• 16:30
  drained us because we began to second
• 16:32
  guessess ourselves and wonder if it was
• 16:34
  true. in Jesus name. Lord, restore our
• 16:37
  hope where words poisoned us against
• 16:41
  somebody else and we just think we can't
• 16:44
  fit in. We can't we, you know, we're not
• 16:46
  apart. Lord, restore our expectation
• 16:49
  where words discouraged us. Lord, we
• 16:51
  will we refuse to be discouraged. We
• 16:54
  will do like David did. We will
• 16:56
  encourage ourselves in the Lord. Even
• 16:59
  when they're dragging our name through
• 17:00
  the mud, even when they're they're
• 17:02
  they're launching fiery darts. Even when
• 17:04
  they're lying and accusing and
• 17:06
  slandering and lieling our name, a good
• 17:08
  name is rather to be chosen. And we will
• 17:10
  be encouraged because you've given us a
• 17:12
  good name. You've given us the name of
• 17:14
  Jesus by which we can pray and shut down
• 17:17
  all the lies and uproot all the seeds,
• 17:19
  Lord. Lord, for those who whose identity
• 17:22
  in Christ is not secure or where they
• 17:25
  once were on fire for you and knew who
• 17:27
  they were and what they're called to do
• 17:29
  and now they're they're they're they're
• 17:31
  double-minded or they're secondguessing.
• 17:33
  Lord, restore that revelation of who
• 17:36
  they really are. Restore their voices
• 17:39
  where intimidation
• 17:41
  silence them in the name of Jesus. I
• 17:45
  break the power of fear released through
• 17:47
  toxic words spoken over you in the name
• 17:50
  of the Lord Jesus Christ. And we
• 17:52
  renounce intimidation. We renounce
• 17:55
  people pleasing
• 17:57
  in Jesus name. I break the power of
• 18:00
  manipulation in spoken words that has
• 18:03
  caused us to make wrong decisions. Uh we
• 18:05
  we we we renounce control and we
• 18:08
  renounce words of do domination spoken
• 18:10
  over us to hold us back to hold us down
• 18:13
  to set us back. I thank you Lord that
• 18:16
  you're planning a planning a comeback
• 18:18
  for us. We are coming back from these
• 18:20
  toxic words that we once believed. We
• 18:22
  break the power of sarcasm and mockery
• 18:25
  over our souls in Jesus name. A and we
• 18:29
  renounce the belittling, the contempt.
• 18:32
  We renounce that. We're not coming into
• 18:34
  agreement with any of that. We break
• 18:36
  agreement with all of it. And I break
• 18:39
  the power of gossip that was spoken
• 18:41
  against us in Jesus' name, trying to
• 18:44
  pervert people's perception of us so
• 18:46
  that we can't advance or form healthy
• 18:48
  relationships. We break that and we
• 18:50
  renounce slander. We renounce false
• 18:52
  narratives in the name of Jesus. We
• 18:55
  cancel the rumors that tried to redefine
• 18:58
  us in the eyes of others that caused
• 19:02
  doors to slam shut in our face. We
• 19:04
  cancel those rumors and we say, "Lord,
• 19:06
  let the truth come forth." It always
• 19:09
  does. It always does. I break every
• 19:12
  demonic echo of what was said. that echo
• 19:15
  in your mind that just plays back what
• 19:17
  they said and plays it back and plays it
• 19:19
  back and echoes and echoes and echoes. I
• 19:21
  break that demonic echo of what was said
• 19:23
  about you in the name of Jesus. In the
• 19:26
  name of Jesus, Father, let your truth
• 19:30
  drown out every lie that was planted in
• 19:34
  the soul of every single person under
• 19:37
  the sound of of my voice. And Lord, help
• 19:40
  us to align our minds with the mind of
• 19:43
  Christ. We have the mind of Christ in
• 19:46
  our spirit. We are one with him. And the
• 19:48
  scripture says we know all things in our
• 19:50
  spirit. We know all things. I thank you
• 19:52
  Lord. So we cast out arguments and we
• 19:55
  cast down imaginations exalting
• 19:57
  themselves against the knowledge of God.
• 19:59
  And we take every thought captive to the
• 20:02
  obedience of Christ. Even now in Jesus
• 20:04
  name, we're not going to give it another
• 20:06
  thought. We refuse to let the devil use
• 20:09
  our brain as a garbage dump. We choose
• 20:11
  to walk in peace and love and joy. Even
• 20:14
  if the people around us are trying to
• 20:16
  trying to steal our peace and our joy
• 20:18
  and they're not walking in love with us,
• 20:19
  we choose the higher road. We choose the
• 20:21
  narrow path. Hallelujah.

  Jesus, but the man. They said that that

  I would never succeed

  and I would never fit in. And I thank

  God I thank God that I I knew better. I

  thank God that I didn't take those words

  on the inside. Although, you know, I had

  to do some self-reflection to see, am I

  really who they say I am? Because when

  you're leaders and your friends who you

  serve with for eight years come and say

  all this nasty stuff about you, you

  know, you start to wonder, but you know,

  you start to the enemy will use that to
