- 0:23SPEAKER_02: This is a Zoom pod, ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:25SPEAKER_02: Um, introducing to the right of me on my screen, the Chupster.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: Uh, and to the left of the AG.
- 0:37SPEAKER_02: Don't even waste your time introducing me.
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: Straight in front of me is AG.
- 0:41SPEAKER_02: Um, yes, that's even worse somehow.
- 0:45SPEAKER_02: I don't know how you did that.
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: But yeah, um, I'm not gonna ask you about your weekend.
- 0:50SPEAKER_02: I'm just gonna let the audience know that Toon decided to play hooky today, and y'all can let him know how y'all feel about that.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: I personally, you know, use a sick day.
- 1:00SPEAKER_02: Um, I'll I'll be calling HR to see how many sick days I got.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: Because I'm I think I'm gonna use some of mine.
- 1:07SPEAKER_02: I haven't used a sick day in like years.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: I think I've in in the whole 160 episodes we have recorded, I think I've used two sick days.
- 1:19SPEAKER_02: Proud of myself.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: Proud of myself.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: But the first every sixth day I had for every year.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, no, you you would be fired if this is an actual uh company.
- 1:29SPEAKER_02: But um Not necessarily, because I don't go over the limit.
- 1:32SPEAKER_02: No, no, you definitely do.
- 1:33SPEAKER_02: And you do no calls, no shows, which is bad.
- 1:36SPEAKER_02: But you're here today, and that's what matters.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: Yes, sir.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: Um, what did you do for your 4th of July?
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: How did you celebrate uh America's independence?
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: I bet you didn't know that's what the holiday was about.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: I don't know, that's what it was.
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: Uh me and my me and my two cousins just went to one of my boys' plot and he barbecued.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: That was it.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: What was the best thing you ate?
- 1:55SPEAKER_02: Um, hmm.
- 1:59SPEAKER_02: I would say probably like the salad, like the mercury side potato salad, the devil eggs or angel eggs, so some people want to call them.
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: I have called that before.
- 2:07SPEAKER_02: You just made it.
- 2:08SPEAKER_02: No, I'm serious.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: That's what people be calling them.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: Who who has called it that?
- 2:12SPEAKER_02: That was like a trend on TikTok now.
- 2:15SPEAKER_02: This is why I'm so glad I don't have TikTok, and I'm not letting China try to destroy America's uh culture.
- 2:22SPEAKER_02: Because nobody in the history of food has ever called devil the eggs.
- 2:28SPEAKER_02: People started calling them that now because of like you know how the angel numbers and all that stuff have been been been a big thing now.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: So yeah, people started doing that now.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: Nigga, angel numbers has been popping since I was in middle school.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: I never heard of it till probably, I want to say, probably five years ago.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: He was a sick nigga, bro.
- 2:46SPEAKER_02: He was a sick nigga.
- 2:47SPEAKER_02: But how was your weekend?
- 2:48SPEAKER_02: How was your fourth?
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: Um, I was gonna do nothing, and I was gonna be proud of doing nothing, but then I forgot that I'm a patriot.
- 2:55SPEAKER_02: So I decided to fire up the old grill, and uh I saw something that that spoke to my spirit, and it said that when you hit the age 35, you gotta choose between becoming deep into World War II history or deep into smoking meats pause.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: So I think I'm gonna choose.
- 3:15SPEAKER_02: I did the World War II history already.
- 3:17SPEAKER_02: Like I'm really I already know everything about that.
- 3:19SPEAKER_02: So I think I'm gonna start being a meat smoker guy.
- 3:22SPEAKER_02: I think that's my next passion in life.
- 3:24SPEAKER_02: Um, I had to put my motorcycle guy on pause because uh convincing my girl to let me drive something that's potentially gonna kill me is actually a little bit more difficult than I thought.
- 3:35SPEAKER_02: So I'm still getting my bike though.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: I've ordered it and canceled it about four times now because of finances.
- 3:43SPEAKER_02: You know, this is why this podcast needs to start making some fucking money.
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: But um, yeah, I think I'm gonna start smoking meat.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: Pause.
- 3:51SPEAKER_02: Actually, no, I don't gotta pause that no more.
- 3:53SPEAKER_02: I'm uh no, I'm gonna pause it until I smoke my first meat, pause.
- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Once I smoke my first meat, I'm I'm not pausing it no more.
- 4:00SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna tell you right now, that is one thing that I would say it's enjoyable but time consuming.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: And how's it time consuming?
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: You sit it down for four hours, you leave it alone.
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so like some depending like the how how much the meat weighs, it takes longer.
- 4:22SPEAKER_02: So, like we did a brisket, I think it took 16 hours, I think it was.
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: So it's time consuming because you get anxious because like you like you want to see the final product, you want to taste the final product.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: I don't got those problems.
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: I'm a very patient person.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: I'll put that bitch in there low and slow, 36 hours and not give a damn.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: Well, uh, you different.
- 4:43SPEAKER_02: We we be anxious, especially when we upstate, we drinking, we watching it.
- 4:48SPEAKER_02: But it's like it's a real cool aspect to do.
- 4:52SPEAKER_02: Like, I think the the furvist we tried, we tried it on a um an old school one, like a drum grill with the side smoker.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: Instead of like the the Traegers and stuff like that.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: We tried like the old way where you had to put the shit in like a little firebox, yeah.
- 5:05SPEAKER_02: Just let the smoke go like that.
- 5:07SPEAKER_02: That one was a little bit uh more tedious because you have to watch it.
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: The Traeger, you just fill it up with pellets, let it go, come back, fill it up with more pellets to go.
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: Like this one you had to put like logs of wood every hour to keep like, you know, that yeah, no, I'm gonna I'm definitely gonna spend uh$2,000 on a Traeger and do that.
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: I would advise you if you if you're really gonna do it, I'm gonna get like, yeah, don't get like don't get the regular Traeger, like you're gonna want the I I got my shit.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: I got my the Ironwood pause.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm getting.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: Ironwood XL, 2,000.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: I think it's like$2,300.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: If Traeger wants to sponsor the pod, I know I don't use those words that are negative to those folks out there.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: So you can sponsor AG directly.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: The rest of these niggas, I don't know.
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: Don't worry, they sponsor us.
- 5:56SPEAKER_02: First thing I'm doing is putting a brisket on during an episode.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: Listen, listen, listen, my brother.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: This is my thing.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: You got your own shit.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: This is my shit.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: I you don't try to don't try to hijack my shit.
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: You go do your World War II shit.
- 6:13SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm a I'm smoking meat, nigga.
- 6:15SPEAKER_02: Pause.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: You you gonna put it on the grill or the smoker.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: Now you see you right now.
- 6:26SPEAKER_02: And literally smoke the whole brisket while talking bullshit all day.
- 6:30SPEAKER_02: It's not gonna take it's not gonna take 36 hours to to to smoke my meat.
- 6:36SPEAKER_02: Tell you that.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: Watch, watch how yo.
- 6:39SPEAKER_02: You don't understand how you gonna do?
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: You gonna half cook it?
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: Nah, nigga.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: I ain't tell you my secrets.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: You just gonna you don't you ain't gonna need no teeth to eat my beef.
- 6:50SPEAKER_02: You heard you feel me?
- 6:52SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: That video was funny.
- 6:54SPEAKER_02: Need no teeth to eat my beef, partner.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: What else?
- 6:59SPEAKER_02: Uh what else was popping up 4th of July?
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: I got one for you.
- 7:02SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 7:03SPEAKER_02: In the world in the worlds of the whites, the white walkers, it was a beach, and I seen a lady's whole calf had a fucking jaws bite into it.
- 7:14SPEAKER_02: Like her calf muscle was gone, and she was apparently the fourth victim that day on that beach.
- 7:22SPEAKER_02: Now, my question to you, sir, you're my Caucasian whisperer, why after the first person they did not shut down the beach?
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: This happened in Texas, I believe.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: Don't quote Oh, this happened in this happened in Texas, because I ain't gonna lie.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: I think so.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: I think so.
- 7:37SPEAKER_02: Uh over over on your ends, people got bit too, and they didn't shut down the beach.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: I think it's uh four people didn't get bit on the same beach out there.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: I don't know how many people, but I just know that that happened.
- 7:51SPEAKER_02: But I think depending on so you see how you see how over there by you, like the beach, it's one long beach, but it's like beach channel XYZ, XYZ.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: No, every every block is a beach.
- 8:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think if it happens on one block, then that part may get shut down or may temporarily close until it's safe again, so they say.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: But I don't think they shut down the whole strip.
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: Okay, fair enough.
- 8:14SPEAKER_02: So let me ask you a question.
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: So you're at the beach, one person gets bitten.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: I'm out.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: All right, I'm out.
- 8:23SPEAKER_02: At that point, that nigga too close, even though he goes away, his friends is close enough to play because they swim in a school.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: I ain't fucking around with that shit.
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying.
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: So I have a very vivid memory of my childhood of my dad in a Caribbean beach in Antigua, to be exact.
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: And he was removing the jellyfish with his bare hands.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: My uncle did that shit, and I was in Walla.
- 8:47SPEAKER_02: He cleared a substantial amount of them.
- 8:50SPEAKER_02: But those are jellyfish.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: I still wasn't fucking with that.
- 8:54SPEAKER_02: I got out the water.
- 8:55SPEAKER_02: But once my dad said it was safe, I went back.
- 8:58SPEAKER_02: But this is my thing.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: It was a sh it was a shark, dog.
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: But so I have a a story similar to that.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: It was two sharks.
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: I seen the video.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: I have a similar story to that.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: This was I wanna say about three years ago.
- 9:16SPEAKER_02: So I go to to Rockaway Beach.
- 9:20SPEAKER_02: And my boy has his birthday party out there.
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: So we just all chilling, whatever, crazy.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: I'd go, you know, take a little quick dip in the water.
- 9:26SPEAKER_02: And like maybe a hundred feet, 150 feet, if that, dude further down fishing.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: So we chillin', I go out to go get a glass, you know, something to drink, relax.
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: He catches something.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: So now instead of me going back in the water, I'm trying to see what the hell the nigga catch.
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: Everybody looking.
- 9:45SPEAKER_02: This nigga pulls out a baby shark.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: Never went back in the water.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: Never.
- 9:49SPEAKER_02: Because I said if that baby came out that shit, that mother somewhere's close.
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: Why he touched the shark?
- 9:53SPEAKER_02: Never went back to that shit.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: Huh?
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: Why he touched the shark?
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: Nah, he went fishing.
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: He was fishing.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: Oh, he caught it?
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so he caught a baby shark.
- 10:02SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 10:04SPEAKER_02: So I was like, yeah, I ain't going out there.
- 10:07SPEAKER_02: But uh, thoughts and prayers for those people.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: Um me personally, I think I have an inherited fear of water just because, you know, slavery and shit.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: But um I'm the opposite.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I don't I don't like water.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: I'm not a water person.
- 10:24SPEAKER_02: I try to avoid it as much as possible.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: I I love water.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: Like I I'll go swimming.
- 10:30SPEAKER_02: I'll jump off a water.
- 10:31SPEAKER_02: You can't you can't you can't swim though.
- 10:33SPEAKER_02: I definitely can't swim.
- 10:34SPEAKER_02: No, you definitely cannot.
- 10:36SPEAKER_02: I can swim.
- 10:37SPEAKER_02: Swimming, I can swim good enough.
- 10:39SPEAKER_02: I've been myself.
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: No, no, that I can do as well.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: But people that actually swim do not count what you would not do is swimming.
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: That's why I'm trying to correct you.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: I've been in uh bodies.
- 10:48SPEAKER_02: I've been in bodies of water with you.
- 10:50SPEAKER_02: Pause, and you sir, cannot swim.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: You cannot drive.
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: They don't count that as swimming.
- 10:56SPEAKER_02: I count as swimming, it's good enough for me.
- 10:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, I respect it.
- 10:59SPEAKER_02: I can get from one end of the pool to the next.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: Nah, you gotta touch the ground.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: I seen you.
- 11:04SPEAKER_02: Nah.
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: I see you.
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: I really don't.
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: I really don't have to.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: Hey, listen, man.
- 11:09SPEAKER_02: You live your truth.
- 11:10SPEAKER_02: All right, my brother.
- 11:11SPEAKER_02: You live your truth.
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: But um, yeah, so what else do I stuff for some shark?
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: Shark meat is pretty good.
- 11:18SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, I know.
- 11:18SPEAKER_02: I have bacon shark a bunch of times.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that shit's amazing.
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: We can't eat all shark though.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 11:24SPEAKER_02: Because some sharks aren't edible.
- 11:26SPEAKER_02: Like what shark?
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: I don't know, but there's some sharks that aren't edible.
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: I never knew that.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: Just how it works, yeah.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: Be careful, nigga.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: Um, let's stay, let's stay on uh 4th of July.
- 11:41SPEAKER_02: Tell me about uh this Kassanot fireworks shit, please.
- 11:46SPEAKER_02: Alright, so Kasanot and Mr.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: Beast decided they're gonna do a live stream.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: You think Mr.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: Beast is the devil?
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: I ain't gonna lie to you.
- 11:56SPEAKER_02: I think he found a way to enhance slavery with enhancing slavery.
- 12:02SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 12:02SPEAKER_02: Oh no, this is where mean this is where you and I are gonna have an issue.
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: I'll let you start though.
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: The shit, all right, so locking these people in the room, all this shit, yeah.
- 12:13SPEAKER_02: I get it.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: It's for money, right?
- 12:16SPEAKER_02: But telling them they can't eat, they said they're you throwing one piece of pie and all this shit.
- 12:20SPEAKER_02: Bro, that that that that sounds like some slavery shit.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but it's it's not though.
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: Because slavery wasn't a choice, dog.
- 12:27SPEAKER_02: I get it, I get it.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: It wasn't a choice, but bro, you know.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: You're using similar tactics, and I don't like it.
- 12:34SPEAKER_02: I don't think it's similar tactics at all.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: They didn't say he didn't uh walk into these people's homes, kidnap them, and bring them across the ocean to a different continent.
- 12:44SPEAKER_02: These niggas know what they signed up for, and they're getting paid.
- 12:49SPEAKER_02: You absolutely right.
- 12:51SPEAKER_02: I just can't let you do that, my brother.
- 12:53SPEAKER_02: Like I'm saying, I just personally don't like the antics about it.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: Because at the end of the day, it rubs me the wrong way.
- 13:03SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: And if uh he came out tomorrow and said he was the devil, I believe him.
- 13:09SPEAKER_02: Because I feel like his uh how do I say this without sounding too preachy?
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: So the devil's job is to trick us that he's a good guy.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: He's a good person.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 13:25SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna just leave it at that.
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: So if he came out tomorrow and said that he was actually the devil, the debu, I'll believe him.
- 13:33SPEAKER_02: I believe.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: But yeah, walk me through this, you know, this streamer shit, I really don't understand.
- 13:37SPEAKER_02: So they had a live stream.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: Majority of the time, especially on 4th of July, they usually have a firework war.
- 13:45SPEAKER_02: And it's like they wish what's what state, what state these niggas live in?
- 13:49SPEAKER_02: I'm not 100% sure.
- 13:51SPEAKER_02: Cause my thing is, um, if you live stream your yourself doing something illegal, there's there's no laws on the internet.
- 14:00SPEAKER_02: I personally don't know.
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: Because if I'm like what I've seen for four Virginia, cops just drive off.
- 14:06SPEAKER_02: They don't even bother.
- 14:08SPEAKER_02: Not all the time.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: Like I've hear you.
- 14:10SPEAKER_02: No, and I'm saying not all the time, but like even this for I've watched people throwing M80s down the block.
- 14:17SPEAKER_02: Like, literally boom, going crazy.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: I'm like, damn, that gotta be some dynamite.
- 14:22SPEAKER_02: That's how nervous I got.
- 14:24SPEAKER_02: People shooting uh the birthday kids that had like 150 shots and the cops drive right around it.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: And I think it just got to the point where it's like, all right, we know y'all gonna do it.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: It's too many people.
- 14:35SPEAKER_02: What we're gonna do, get out and lock up everybody.
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: Central Bucket will be flooded.
- 14:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's true.
- 14:41SPEAKER_02: So I think that's what it came down to.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: Now, uh, at least on 4th of July, they'll just let it rock.
- 14:45SPEAKER_02: Any other day after, they'll definitely mess with you.
- 14:47SPEAKER_02: No, they still they still uh launching them shit on my block.
- 14:51SPEAKER_02: Nah, they still launching them.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: But I think like if enough calls come in, they come down.
- 14:55SPEAKER_02: Their cops are coming, they're gonna show up.
- 14:57SPEAKER_02: Fourth of July, they're not answering that call.
- 14:59SPEAKER_02: So But uh, there's usually a firework war that they have.
- 15:03SPEAKER_02: And who's they?
- 15:05SPEAKER_02: It's usually everybody in the house.
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: But it was like one particular person.
- 15:09SPEAKER_02: My brother, brother, there's people that are listening to the city.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, so Kai, Kai, Duke, you talking about uh the whole AMP.
- 15:16SPEAKER_02: Kai, Duke, um, agent, Phantom, all of them.
- 15:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I forgot the rest of their names.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: Good.
- 15:24SPEAKER_02: But um start.
- 15:27SPEAKER_02: But um what did happen this time was I forgot the dude's name.
- 15:33SPEAKER_02: I can't remember his name.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: He came in and lit a birthday cake on top of like, when I say a shit ton of fireworks, like a hundred of fireworks inside apparently Kai's rule.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: Quotation, Kaiser.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: Whatever the whole screen goes white, he gets tight.
- 15:50SPEAKER_02: The reason why I personally, when it first happened, didn't really like fully believe it, is because there's a stream where Duke says that that person, like, he wants no part in the war.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: He just renovated his whole room, and the only person that he's worried about is this one person.
- 16:10SPEAKER_02: I forgot the dude's name, but that's literally the person that goes and lights up Kai's room.
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: I think his name is Davis.
- 16:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Davis.
- 16:16SPEAKER_02: That's yeah, you're right.
- 16:17SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 16:18SPEAKER_02: So then when he says that, I'm like, hold on.
- 16:21SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 16:22SPEAKER_02: Then they have another stream where Kai and all of them talking.
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: It's like, yo, we know Davis is gonna be the one to start the war.
- 16:28SPEAKER_02: We all trying to have peace, da da da.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: And then I see 4th of July, Davis does the shit.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh, this is this was a rollout.
- 16:36SPEAKER_02: Like, it was a rollout.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: And then our cohost too, he made a very good point.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: That don't even look like Kai's room.
- 16:44SPEAKER_02: I wanted to know how that nigga knew that.
- 16:46SPEAKER_02: That nigga low-key be watching that nigga's shit.
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: He gotta be watching the streams, you gotta see it.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: All the all the clips is in his room.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: Now they be live streaming out their room, so you could tell like what their rooms be looking like.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: What did Mr.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: Beast have to do with this?
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: That's the whole thing I don't know.
- 17:05SPEAKER_02: Because in that clip that I seen, Mr.
- 17:07SPEAKER_02: Beast wasn't there.
- 17:09SPEAKER_02: Oh, I'm wrong.
- 17:11SPEAKER_02: I I think I know what Mr.
- 17:12SPEAKER_02: Beast had to do with it.
- 17:13SPEAKER_02: So I think Mr.
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: Beast helped him set up that fake room.
- 17:18SPEAKER_02: Because Mr.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: Beast be building like the whole like fucking towns damn near out from scratch.
- 17:26SPEAKER_02: So I think that's what Mr.
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: Beast thing is.
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: I definitely see Mr.
- 17:29SPEAKER_02: Beast um with a s with a um a shisty on.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: And he was doing the the good boom dance, and it made my little New York heart jump.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: Ain't gonna lie.
- 17:41SPEAKER_02: That's that's that's definitely some New York shit.
- 17:44SPEAKER_02: That's New York shit.
- 17:45SPEAKER_02: But Kai's from New York.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know, that's what I'm saying.
- 17:47SPEAKER_02: I like I like that.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: I like when we, you know, kind of get back our culture.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: Oh like spread our shit out, like how we used to do back in the day, instead of uh taking other people's cultures and remixing it.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: I like that.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: Even though I'm gonna give the shisty to um Memphis, I guess.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: Because that's where he's from.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: But the gragar boom dance, that's New York shit right there.
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: True.
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: New York niggas always dance.
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: We should dance in ass niggas.
- 18:14SPEAKER_02: That's a fact.
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: That's a fact.
- 18:16SPEAKER_02: We boogie.
- 18:17SPEAKER_02: That's a fact.
- 18:18SPEAKER_02: Do the rock away.
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: Lean back.
- 18:21SPEAKER_02: Oh, some shit.
- 18:22SPEAKER_02: But like I said, that whole shit with them two.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: I give it to them.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: They really pulled it off because the the comments I was seeing, people really was like, oh, he lit his room on fire.
- 18:31SPEAKER_02: My whole thing was the screen went white and you ain't see a flame.
- 18:35SPEAKER_02: When are you gonna start um streaming?
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: Um be honest with you.
- 18:39SPEAKER_02: After seeing that, I I I I gave up.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: I don't think, I don't think I have the time to do that.
- 18:46SPEAKER_02: I don't think I have like, like, first of all, where am I gonna sit there and come up with a fake room to blow up?
- 18:53SPEAKER_02: Nigga, he he he didn't start with that.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: No, but I'm just saying, like you gotta get to that level.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but these people put 24 hours of a day into just rocking.
- 19:06SPEAKER_02: Why don't you start eight?
- 19:07SPEAKER_02: Just eight hours.
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: I'll be having eight hours.
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: Nigga, you the one that said you wanted to do this.
- 19:13SPEAKER_02: So I'm trying to do that.
- 19:14SPEAKER_02: I definitely did want to do it, right?
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: I did definitely didn't want to do it.
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: I'm not gonna sit here and lie.
- 19:18SPEAKER_02: I definitely didn't want to do it.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: But I think I would have to first have this podcast take off.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: So now I have a fallback plan.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: I have my boom.
- 19:27SPEAKER_02: We gain sponsorships, we gain money, we good.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: I don't gotta work work a little regular job for for the for the next person.
- 19:34SPEAKER_02: I'm working for myself.
- 19:36SPEAKER_02: Now it frees up my spare time so I could do other things and still be on the same type of platform.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: I think doing that and having an actual job job, that's really hard.
- 19:50SPEAKER_02: That is really hard.
- 19:52SPEAKER_02: Like cause I even watch like from back in the day when they were doing it, they used to be like gamers streaming.
- 19:58SPEAKER_02: So that's how they would yeah.
- 20:00SPEAKER_02: I don't think they really ever had like a full job.
- 20:04SPEAKER_02: No, they definitely did.
- 20:07SPEAKER_02: They probably did, but I'm just saying, like, you don't see that.
- 20:10SPEAKER_02: So like you don't like if they did, it probably was a small whatever, but they was like already into this from young doing it.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: So they already was building.
- 20:19SPEAKER_02: If I do it now and start building, or I'm I'm gonna be a 40-year-vlogger.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: I think that'd be fire.
- 20:27SPEAKER_02: I think that would be crazy.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: Nah, but hear me out because you have a perspective that look okay, because when you listen, when you watch the stream, do you watch the streams?
- 20:38SPEAKER_02: Who?
- 20:38SPEAKER_02: Do you watch their streams?
- 20:40SPEAKER_02: No.
- 20:41SPEAKER_02: I'll be seeing majority of the time it's clips.
- 20:43SPEAKER_02: I don't really watch a full stream.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: Okay, so full stream.
- 20:46SPEAKER_02: Could you imagine if there was a streamer that was like closer to your age?
- 20:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:53SPEAKER_02: Like, wouldn't that be a little bit more entertaining than watching a bunch of kids light themselves on fire?
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: Or maybe not.
- 20:59SPEAKER_02: Maybe I'm bugging.
- 21:00SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying, but like, all right, so what at my age, what would they be doing?
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: Nigga, what do you think is entertaining?
- 21:07SPEAKER_02: I would be smoking meat.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: I ain't a lot of you.
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: That sounded crazy.
- 21:12SPEAKER_02: I ain't gonna lie.
- 21:14SPEAKER_02: Fireworks wars, those are fun.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: Like, I've had a story with me and my boys upstate.
- 21:19SPEAKER_02: We did firework jokes.
- 21:22SPEAKER_02: Riding the ATV like if it was a horse, and you have a Roman candle shooting at each other.
- 21:26SPEAKER_02: You get hit, you're out.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, why can't you do that?
- 21:29SPEAKER_02: Because I ain't gonna lie, who wants to see a 40-year-old man doing that?
- 21:33SPEAKER_02: That's the perfect person to do that.
- 21:35SPEAKER_02: Because you old.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: But I'll just do that in the uh stand outside the back of a pickup truck.
- 21:40SPEAKER_02: Then it's even better.
- 21:41SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: You do you do some black redneck shit.
- 21:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's some redneck shit.
- 21:46SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna.
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: And black people can be rednecks.
- 21:49SPEAKER_02: I'ma I'm gonna reenact the movie.
- 21:51SPEAKER_02: What was the movie, uh, Black Ku Kluck Klan?
- 21:53SPEAKER_02: The Black KKK?
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: What was that movie?
- 21:55SPEAKER_02: There's there's no movie about that.
- 21:56SPEAKER_02: You remember how the they had a um Oh my god.
- 22:01SPEAKER_02: Like the Black Klansman or something shit like that?
- 22:03SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 22:04SPEAKER_02: The Black Klansman, yeah.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: But he wasn't like that.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: No, I'm gonna read that, and it's gonna be a parody.
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be like how Dave Chappelle had the um, I hate blacks, and then he took off his matches, Dave Chappelle.
- 22:17SPEAKER_02: I'd be like, what the fuck?
- 22:19SPEAKER_02: And then he divorced his wife too.
- 22:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because he liked it.
- 22:24SPEAKER_02: But she liked black.
- 22:25SPEAKER_02: She likes a black dude, which was him.
- 22:27SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: But keeping it, keeping it uh 4th of July though, tell me about this woman and seasoning a barbecue, man.
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: So this this lady, I believe she's an old lady, she goes viral for putting onion, seasoning, like garlic powder, all that in her uh charcoal.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: So she lines regularly how people do it, line up the charcoal and put all that in there, let it sit there, and then light it up.
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna tell you right now black people would season utensils.
- 23:10SPEAKER_02: Black people love seasoning.
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: You see how white people hate seasoning?
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's there's a little thing called Yagan to Fa.
- 23:21SPEAKER_02: And personally, I don't understand.
- 23:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, I get it.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: Because what's the difference between s uh seasoning your charcoal and having flavored wood pellets?
- 23:32SPEAKER_02: That's a good point.
- 23:32SPEAKER_02: It's the same shit.
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: But nah, man, you don't gotta season the damn charcoal.
- 23:39SPEAKER_02: But question, you never seen people put uh like when they do the um the charcoal, they put onions down there, just a whole onion or half onion?
- 23:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think that's dumb.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 23:49SPEAKER_02: But that can be aromatic.
- 23:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they say it gives flavor.
- 23:53SPEAKER_02: I I don't know.
- 23:54SPEAKER_02: But this is what I'm gonna ask them.
- 23:58SPEAKER_02: When you have a burger from a nigga that don't do that, does it taste any different?
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: I personally don't know.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: I would have to try it to find out.
- 24:05SPEAKER_02: No, you you have.
- 24:06SPEAKER_02: And this is this is my problem.
- 24:08SPEAKER_02: I've had a burger from somebody that seasoned their charcoal.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: That hasn't seasoned their charcoal.
- 24:12SPEAKER_02: No, I know, but that's what I'm saying.
- 24:13SPEAKER_02: I would have to have one from somebody that seasoned their charcoal to know what that tastes like.
- 24:18SPEAKER_02: This even taste different.
- 24:20SPEAKER_02: Uh, this is some nigga shit, man.
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: I I love me some good nigga shit, but it's just like when people like was washing their grits and what and washing like certain things, it's like you don't wash those things.
- 24:34SPEAKER_02: It's like you just get on the internet to try to look cleaner than other people.
- 24:38SPEAKER_02: But washing grits?
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:41SPEAKER_02: No, hold on, no, no, I can't say that because I I I put my my um like oats, I put in cold water, and then I throw out the water and put it back in cold water until the water's not white.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that means you're washing that too, and that's stupid.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:57SPEAKER_02: But aren't you supposed to do that?
- 24:58SPEAKER_02: No.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: Who who who you seen do that?
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: My family.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you're not supposed to do that.
- 25:04SPEAKER_02: They told me that because uh you don't know like when they uh when they I guess pick it or whatever, when they process it, they don't you don't know if they clean it.
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: You know how they make you know how to make rice?
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I wash my rice.
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but you know why you wash your rice?
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: The same thing, because the pesticides and all the buttons.
- 25:24SPEAKER_02: No, nigga, because rice is made in shit water.
- 25:30SPEAKER_02: I don't eat I don't eat rice.
- 25:32SPEAKER_02: Look it up.
- 25:33SPEAKER_02: I never I never knew that.
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: Why you why you think you never see think about it, you know people with backyards, they grow everything, right?
- 25:39SPEAKER_02: You never see nobody growing their own rice though.
- 25:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 25:43SPEAKER_02: Do your research, nigga.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: I never knew that.
- 25:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, rice is made in shit.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: I'm good.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: I'm good, beloved.
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: Some fried rice be slabbin though.
- 25:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know.
- 25:55SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 25:55SPEAKER_02: Shit, shit be slabs.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: You eat you eat crawfish, you eat crab.
- 25:59SPEAKER_02: You ever ate a whole crab lobster?
- 26:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 26:02SPEAKER_02: That where's the intestines at when you cook the whole thing inside itself?
- 26:08SPEAKER_02: Inside.
- 26:09SPEAKER_02: And where you where you eat it?
- 26:10SPEAKER_02: But she hold on, hold on.
- 26:12SPEAKER_02: But see, here's the thing is um you never had blood putting?
- 26:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 26:16SPEAKER_02: And when I figured out what it was, I stopped eating it.
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: Listen, man, I this is my thing, right?
- 26:20SPEAKER_02: People don't understand.
- 26:22SPEAKER_02: All black folk that have been through slavery got slavery food.
- 26:28SPEAKER_02: The only black folk that probably don't have slave food is Africans.
- 26:33SPEAKER_02: But if you from the West Indies, you were slaved.
- 26:36SPEAKER_02: Enslaved, sorry.
- 26:37SPEAKER_02: You were enslaved.
- 26:38SPEAKER_02: If you were in America's, you was enslaved for the most part.
- 26:41SPEAKER_02: So a lot of the traditional foods that we eat is some slavery shit.
- 26:44SPEAKER_02: We gotta let that shit go.
- 26:45SPEAKER_02: Chitlins, let it go.
- 26:47SPEAKER_02: Mutton.
- 26:48SPEAKER_02: Nah, mutton's not slavery food.
- 26:49SPEAKER_02: What are you talking about?
- 26:50SPEAKER_02: Nah, I thought it was.
- 26:51SPEAKER_02: Nah, mutton is just aged, it's aged um goat or lamb.
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: It's not that's not slavery food.
- 26:59SPEAKER_02: Okay, pig ears, pig snout, bullfoot, even oxtail.
- 27:04SPEAKER_02: That's some slavery shit.
- 27:06SPEAKER_02: You dead eyes?
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, nigga.
- 27:07SPEAKER_02: That's the worst part of the fucking when you cut up a uh uh a cow, that's the least part.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: That you that's not a prime rib, that's not a steak.
- 27:19SPEAKER_02: It's oxtail.
- 27:20SPEAKER_02: That shit is garbage.
- 27:22SPEAKER_02: There's barely any meat on there.
- 27:25SPEAKER_02: Nah, they this is how I know they engineering shit.
- 27:28SPEAKER_02: Cause I've seen an oxtail like the size of like a cup.
- 27:33SPEAKER_02: Mad meat.
- 27:33SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:34SPEAKER_02: That's that's not normal.
- 27:36SPEAKER_02: That ain't normal.
- 27:37SPEAKER_02: GMO cow, nigga.
- 27:38SPEAKER_02: That ain't normal.
- 27:39SPEAKER_02: But yeah, seasoning your fucking charcoal, that's some nigga shit right there.
- 27:44SPEAKER_02: Shout out the niggas, man.
- 27:46SPEAKER_02: Shout them out.
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: Hey, I think I think you should do it.
- 27:49SPEAKER_02: Hey, white people pour beer on their food when they're grilling, right?
- 27:52SPEAKER_02: Nah, that's different.
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: That's different.
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: Beer battered.
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: And they don't they that's that's different.
- 27:58SPEAKER_02: They'd be grilling chicken and just spray beer on it.
- 28:01SPEAKER_02: Let me season my charcoal.
- 28:03SPEAKER_02: No, that's literally going on the chicken, though.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: It's not the same thing.
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: Nah, nigga.
- 28:08SPEAKER_02: The smoke from this seasoning is going into this chicken.
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I think it's called aromatic.
- 28:16SPEAKER_02: Um, another thing that happened um on 4th of July is definitely the dropping of the not like us video.
- 28:27SPEAKER_02: Did you think do you think nah?
- 28:30SPEAKER_02: I fully did not get to watch it.
- 28:32SPEAKER_02: My nigga, you are on a podcast, weekly podcast.
- 28:37SPEAKER_02: This is the one of the this is the biggest cultural moment in this.
- 28:41SPEAKER_02: I saw the clips of it.
- 28:43SPEAKER_02: I saw clips of it.
- 28:45SPEAKER_02: I definitely saw clips of it.
- 28:46SPEAKER_02: You honestly disgust me.
- 28:50SPEAKER_02: I saw somebody expose all his hidden uh his Easter eggs, and I was like, oh, okay.
- 28:56SPEAKER_02: TikTok really You know what TikTok has done?
- 29:00SPEAKER_01: It's it stopped niggas from thinking for themselves.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: I don't see how, but okay.
- 29:08SPEAKER_02: Like, you don't have your own opinion on this video.
- 29:10SPEAKER_02: You have an opinion on some other niggas' opinion.
- 29:12SPEAKER_02: Nah, I have an opinion about the clips.
- 29:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you haven't okay, hold on.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: You have an opinion on the clips.
- 29:19SPEAKER_02: That means he chose those clips.
- 29:22SPEAKER_02: Those those are his clips.
- 29:23SPEAKER_02: Not talking for multiple different people.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: No, that's what I'm saying.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: Those are their clips.
- 29:26SPEAKER_02: They chose that.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: They chose to want to speak about that.
- 29:29SPEAKER_02: And now you speaking about some shit they cared about.
- 29:32SPEAKER_02: You don't you don't see the madness here.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: But since I watched the video, I'm gonna tell you what I liked about it.
- 29:38SPEAKER_02: First off, grade A nigga shit.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: It starts off with the nigga knock.
- 29:46SPEAKER_02: Now, if you are not familiar with the nigga knock, don't try, don't do it at home, ladies and gentlemen.
- 29:52SPEAKER_02: Because it's the easiest thing to mess up.
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: And once you once you hear it, it's like like nails scratching a chalkboard.
- 29:58SPEAKER_02: You know that person is not hit.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: Everybody know what the nigga knock is.
- 30:03SPEAKER_02: And the the imagery.
- 30:06SPEAKER_02: Oh, you don't know the nigga knock?
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: No, I'm not listening.
- 30:08SPEAKER_02: The culture is not see, this is how I know you're not paying attention.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: The music video is specifically about stop selling our culture, colonizer.
- 30:18SPEAKER_02: You a colonizer.
- 30:20SPEAKER_02: You want me to tell niggas what the nigga knock is, then it'll be worthless.
- 30:23SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: If everybody knows the nigga, if everybody know what the nigga knock is, then it's worthless.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: Because the only thing I know is the grinding knock.
- 30:34SPEAKER_02: Nah, you need to get out.
- 30:35SPEAKER_02: You need you need to.
- 30:35SPEAKER_02: I'm taking your black card the next time I see you.
- 30:37SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna put it in my wallet.
- 30:38SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna hold it for you because you clearly don't understand what that shit means.
- 30:42SPEAKER_02: But the the imagery was beautiful, the camera work was beautiful.
- 30:45SPEAKER_02: The fact that he had his wife wearing a wife beater after Drake accused him of being a wife beater, that shit was chef's kiss.
- 30:56SPEAKER_02: Um, yeah, man, Kendrick.
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: And the gangster part about it is that music video wasn't so much of a Drake disc.
- 31:04SPEAKER_02: There's only a couple of real overt Drake shots in it.
- 31:07SPEAKER_02: Like the part with the owl, the part with the um the Drake and the ski mastering to run up on him, and he gets yoinked.
- 31:15SPEAKER_02: Um the one with the picture not on the wall when he's doing the push-ups.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: I think that's a reach, but maybe.
- 31:20SPEAKER_02: Um Drake does say you got uh you got my picture on your wall, something like that, in one of his songs.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: No, I think I think it's a little bit of a reach.
- 31:28SPEAKER_02: But Kendrick does this, he wants us to reach, so I'm cool with that.
- 31:31SPEAKER_02: Um, but yeah, I'm just talking about the specific like Drake shots.
- 31:35SPEAKER_02: Like, you can't deny us a Drake shot.
- 31:37SPEAKER_02: I can't say that that's a Drake shot.
- 31:39SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 31:39SPEAKER_02: But you can literally see the owl in the cage.
- 31:42SPEAKER_02: That's clearly a Drake shot.
- 31:44SPEAKER_02: The the the the fake Drake running up on him in the ski mask, that's clearly a Drake shot because Drake was running around with a ski mask when he was a UK drill rapper for like three months.
- 31:53SPEAKER_02: That was like his look.
- 31:54SPEAKER_02: He had a whole song music video, right?
- 31:56SPEAKER_02: For uh, you know, yeah, whatever.
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: So that was like his quack.
- 32:00SPEAKER_02: There was another one that I heard was a shot with uh when he talks about uh him like a little kid or something like that.
- 32:07SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's the that's the whole song.
- 32:09SPEAKER_02: No, there's like a certain part, certain part that he said.
- 32:12SPEAKER_02: I think like he was either in a class or he did something.
- 32:15SPEAKER_02: I don't even know.
- 32:15SPEAKER_02: He was I can't remember exactly.
- 32:16SPEAKER_02: The shipper containers is fire.
- 32:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah, I heard about that one too.
- 32:20SPEAKER_02: The Mar DeRozan being there was very confusing for me.
- 32:24SPEAKER_02: But isn't it because the Mar DeRozan used to play in Toronto?
- 32:27SPEAKER_02: He had um that Drake moment where Drake was bigging him up and hugging him up and shit.
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, that's why it's weird that he's there because he literally out of his mouth said that like Drake is one of his favorite people ever.
- 32:38SPEAKER_02: And like Drake could do no wrong type shit.
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: So the fact that he's there, I know he's from Compton, you know, hometown over friends, I guess.
- 32:46SPEAKER_02: I guess.
- 32:46SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I ascribe to that.
- 32:48SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I'm gonna side with a nigga from my hometown over my man's who's from a different place just because he's from my hometown.
- 32:55SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I would do that.
- 32:57SPEAKER_02: I would have to be put in this the situation.
- 32:59SPEAKER_02: But um Kendrick just got that much pull.
- 33:02SPEAKER_02: No, but that's what I'm saying.
- 33:03SPEAKER_02: Like, Kendrick is not his dad.
- 33:05SPEAKER_02: Like, what what what pull?
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: He'd probably respect Kendrick that much.
- 33:10SPEAKER_02: No, that's what I'm saying, but like he just said, like, recently that Drake is his man a hundred grand.
- 33:15SPEAKER_02: Like, like, like when he was down and out and nobody was looking after him, Drake was looking after him.
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: You could be my man, but I could respect some uh artist's pen to a certain extent.
- 33:27SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 33:28SPEAKER_02: Okay, so I'm gonna give you an example.
- 33:30SPEAKER_02: Uh, what artist's pen do you respect the most in the world?
- 33:35SPEAKER_02: Right now, I would say I'll give it to Kendrick right now.
- 33:39SPEAKER_02: You you broke you breaking up crazy.
- 33:40SPEAKER_02: What's going on?
- 33:41SPEAKER_02: I said I would give it to Kendrick right now.
- 33:43SPEAKER_02: I've never even seen that happen before.
- 33:45SPEAKER_02: So you respect Kendrick's pen over anybody ever in the history of music?
- 33:49SPEAKER_02: At this very moment, yeah.
- 33:50SPEAKER_02: Okay, so if Kendrick said to you, yeah, I need you in a video, and the song is about calling toon a rapist, murderer, um you you would go just because you respect his pen?
- 34:03SPEAKER_02: I'll bail toon.
- 34:05SPEAKER_02: Listen, I don't believe all his accusations, but oh you would go to music video.
- 34:09SPEAKER_02: Cool.
- 34:10SPEAKER_02: What's the word?
- 34:11SPEAKER_02: We're gonna spin this off.
- 34:13SPEAKER_02: There's gonna be there's gonna be there's gonna be fuel for you to come back and revamp the whole thing.
- 34:20SPEAKER_02: I don't think you get you you come back from being called a pedophile.
- 34:23SPEAKER_02: I don't think so.
- 34:23SPEAKER_02: No, I'm saying like revamp the whole the whole beef and market and make money.
- 34:28SPEAKER_02: I don't think you make money by being a pedophile, though.
- 34:31SPEAKER_02: I think Drake is taking a hit money.
- 34:32SPEAKER_02: So Drake spins another song.
- 34:36SPEAKER_02: He did, several songs, and they all have a sort of thing.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: I'm saying right now he did.
- 34:41SPEAKER_02: Oh and they that's my point.
- 34:42SPEAKER_02: You don't even you didn't even hear about them.
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: Oh damn.
- 34:45SPEAKER_02: I guess not then.
- 34:46SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 34:47SPEAKER_02: That's really that's really a tough one.
- 34:49SPEAKER_02: That's really a tough one.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: Not for me.
- 34:51SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't see how that's even a conversation.
- 34:55SPEAKER_02: If the song was a regular diss song, like hey, fuck Drake, I rap better than him, hey Damar, pull up.
- 35:01SPEAKER_02: We're both from Compton, and this song is not really a Drake diss, this song is really celebrating Compton, pull up, then I could see it.
- 35:08SPEAKER_02: But the fact that this song literally is calling him a pedophile, and I respect his pen is the reason why I'm gonna portray my man.
- 35:17SPEAKER_02: I ain't rolling with that.
- 35:19SPEAKER_02: But hey, I respect it.
- 35:20SPEAKER_02: You you gave me you gave me a Punch.
- 35:22SPEAKER_02: I just feel like I hope you're listening.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: I hope he's listening too.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: I just feel like it could be an opportunity that certain people wouldn't want to miss out.
- 35:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but DeMar DeRozan is a millionaire, multi-millionaire.
- 35:33SPEAKER_02: Like what opportunity does he gain by being in a fucking?
- 35:36SPEAKER_02: Listen, I could be have a shit ton of money, right?
- 35:40SPEAKER_02: But there's people that probably got a shit ton of money, like, damn, I missed out when Kendrick did this on stage and the shit was so lit.
- 35:46SPEAKER_02: Nah, I hear you.
- 35:47SPEAKER_02: And I'm saying people may not even think about the money aspect.
- 35:51SPEAKER_02: I'm talking about you.
- 35:53SPEAKER_02: I mean personally, I could have a lot of money and feel like I missed out on the first time and just go.
- 35:58SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 35:59SPEAKER_02: No, I guess you're leaving out the money aspect.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: You're leaving out the I didn't mention money, you did.
- 36:04SPEAKER_02: You're leaving.
- 36:05SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying sometimes it's not money, it's just like I'll be feeling like damn, I missed out a vibe.
- 36:10SPEAKER_02: So a vibe, a vibe is enough for you to shit on your man, is what I'm saying.
- 36:15SPEAKER_02: I would I want to say uh shit on my man's dog.
- 36:18SPEAKER_02: The song is about him being a pedophile.
- 36:21SPEAKER_02: What are you saying to me?
- 36:23SPEAKER_02: I could see why DeMar DeRosen went.
- 36:25SPEAKER_02: I can't.
- 36:26SPEAKER_02: I'm trying to understand it.
- 36:28SPEAKER_02: I don't see it.
- 36:28SPEAKER_02: Unless the only thing that makes sense to me is if him and Drake had a fallen out behind the scenes, and this was him basically letting Drake know, like, yeah, nigga, I uh me and you ain't rocking like that.
- 36:38SPEAKER_02: Because there's no way I could go to that music video and then go dab Drake.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't see how that could go.
- 36:44SPEAKER_02: Let me paint a better picture.
- 36:45SPEAKER_02: Let me get a better better picture.
- 36:47SPEAKER_02: What if Kendrick is like his man's a hundred grand and Drake is just his man's, and we don't need to know that absolutely, then that would also make sense.
- 36:56SPEAKER_02: But my thing is, how you say when I was down and out and nobody was there for me, Drake was.
- 37:02SPEAKER_02: Why would your man a hundred grand not be there for you?
- 37:05SPEAKER_02: Probably couldn't be in the moment.
- 37:07SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 37:07SPEAKER_02: That doesn't happen.
- 37:09SPEAKER_02: That don't make no sense to me.
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: But things happen.
- 37:10SPEAKER_02: I hear you.
- 37:11SPEAKER_02: I hear you.
- 37:11SPEAKER_02: I hear you.
- 37:12SPEAKER_02: Things happen because perfect perfect example, right?
- 37:14SPEAKER_02: You my man's a hundred grand, right?
- 37:17SPEAKER_02: When I lost my first job and I didn't have a job, you didn't have an opportunity to present to me because you did your own thing.
- 37:24SPEAKER_02: What was that at the time?
- 37:25SPEAKER_02: I could have got you a job where I was working.
- 37:27SPEAKER_02: I didn't know you lost your job.
- 37:29SPEAKER_02: Okay, so then things like that happen.
- 37:31SPEAKER_02: You didn't know, you didn't know, right?
- 37:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:33SPEAKER_02: My other man's got me a job, right?
- 37:35SPEAKER_02: Perfect, perfect.
- 37:35SPEAKER_02: I can't.
- 37:36SPEAKER_02: Keep the same scenario.
- 37:37SPEAKER_02: I got I got you.
- 37:38SPEAKER_02: Keep the same scenario.
- 37:39SPEAKER_02: So now your other man that got you a job, I am shooting a music video that's calling him a racist pedophile.
- 37:48SPEAKER_02: And I want you in my video.
- 37:50SPEAKER_02: You're just gonna you're just gonna come to the video and forget that he did that for you.
- 37:54SPEAKER_02: But this this is about the I'm not gonna say I forgot that he did that for me, but at the end of the day, I will have a conversation talking about yo, you this is my man from like birth growing up.
- 38:02SPEAKER_02: You know what I'm saying?
- 38:03SPEAKER_02: Like, will you expect me not to be there?
- 38:05SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, yeah, I got y'all, yeah.
- 38:07SPEAKER_02: You potting right now, because I've I already have a couple of circumstances where you have done the exact opposite of this for for less.
- 38:16SPEAKER_02: I can see it happening.
- 38:17SPEAKER_02: I don't see it, but and you potted, but I'm gonna let you pot.
- 38:20SPEAKER_02: It's okay.
- 38:21SPEAKER_02: But that to me is crazy.
- 38:22SPEAKER_02: That that was the only part of the video where I was like, why is DeMar DeRozan here?
- 38:27SPEAKER_02: That is so you don't see DeMar DeRozan and Drake ever being cool again after this.
- 38:31SPEAKER_02: I don't see how it's possible.
- 38:32SPEAKER_02: I don't see any person that was on that stage could ever dap Drake.
- 38:39SPEAKER_02: I don't see it.
- 38:40SPEAKER_02: I'm not I'm not saying Drake won't make music with them because in this day and age, to make music with somebody, you don't even have to be in the same room.
- 38:47SPEAKER_02: You never have to what happens if Drake daps up DeMar the Rhodes in that like the next game?
- 38:52SPEAKER_02: I think that'll be strange.
- 38:53SPEAKER_02: Like I would look at it strange.
- 38:55SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 38:56SPEAKER_02: That's just from my lens.
- 38:57SPEAKER_02: Remember, I'm not all I know is I'm trying to break into this field.
- 39:01SPEAKER_02: And one of my main motivations to break into this field, and me and Toon talk about this all the time, is to show these niggas that y'all niggas are weird.
- 39:09SPEAKER_02: Like I think 90% of these people, rappers, athletes, podcasters, a lot of these people are just weird just by just by how they move.
- 39:17SPEAKER_02: But then again, I might get into these rooms and then I might understand, oh, why y'all move like this?
- 39:24SPEAKER_02: And then I would start to understand, oh, y'all wasn't moving weird this whole time.
- 39:27SPEAKER_02: Y'all was moving accordingly.
- 39:28SPEAKER_02: But from the outside looking in, from a broke nigga, from a nigga with no real connection into the industry, I think a lot of these people move weird.
- 39:36SPEAKER_02: And I just want to get into the game and shake shit up because I think I have the ability to do so.
- 39:40SPEAKER_02: I would not be compromised.
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: You just gotta feed them all your smoked beef.
- 39:45SPEAKER_02: Nah, they don't get none of that.
- 39:47SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 39:48SPEAKER_02: That's not for them, that's for the family.
- 39:52unknown: Okay.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, man.
- 39:54SPEAKER_02: Um, another interesting footnote the 4th of July is uh Michael Rubin's party, all white party.
- 40:01SPEAKER_02: That shit looked poppin'.
- 40:03SPEAKER_02: I cannot lie.
- 40:05SPEAKER_02: And I kept asking myself, why is Draymond Green there?
- 40:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:13SPEAKER_02: Michael Rubin is definitely one of those uh white dudes that you know likes to have black people around it just to show other white people that he's cool.
- 40:24SPEAKER_02: But that shit looks lit.
- 40:25SPEAKER_02: I ain't gonna hold you.
- 40:26SPEAKER_02: But again, you have no idea what the fuck I'm talking about.
- 40:28SPEAKER_02: How about we podcast about shit you want to talk about?
- 40:31SPEAKER_02: We are.
- 40:33SPEAKER_02: That's impossible.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: Didn't know what you were talking about.
- 40:36SPEAKER_02: Uh I know Mark Cuban's an actor.
- 40:39SPEAKER_02: No, he's not.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: And I didn't even say Mark, I didn't even say Mark Cuban.
- 40:43SPEAKER_02: I said Michael Rubin.
- 40:45SPEAKER_02: Oh, I thought you said Mark Cuban.
- 40:48SPEAKER_02: Nah, he stole Diddy's whole swag though.
- 40:50SPEAKER_02: Diddy was the one that was throwing the all white parties.
- 40:52SPEAKER_02: I think a Mark uh Michael Rubin took that shit over.
- 40:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 40:57SPEAKER_02: We'll see how far that gets.
- 40:59SPEAKER_02: What do you mean?
- 41:00SPEAKER_02: They on to your brother.
- 41:02SPEAKER_02: What are you talking about?
- 41:03SPEAKER_02: They on to They on to him.
- 41:05SPEAKER_02: Who?
- 41:05SPEAKER_02: You think they're not gonna be watching all these people that's taking his ideas and stuff like that?
- 41:09SPEAKER_02: Nah, Michael Rubin's white.
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: Okay, you got a point there.
- 41:13SPEAKER_02: I'm pretty sure he's Jewish.
- 41:15SPEAKER_02: He's connected.
- 41:16SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 41:17SPEAKER_02: He's affiliated.
- 41:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, 100%.
- 41:20SPEAKER_02: He's not just a friend, he's affiliated.
- 41:23SPEAKER_02: Since we talk about music, right?
- 41:26SPEAKER_02: I want to talk about the B.E.T.
- 41:28SPEAKER_02: Awards.
- 41:29SPEAKER_02: Oh yes.
- 41:31SPEAKER_02: I want to talk about to me.
- 41:34SPEAKER_02: Where you going?
- 41:34SPEAKER_02: Where you going?
- 41:36SPEAKER_02: Country hip hop crossover?
- 41:38SPEAKER_02: Okay, you're talking about your man Shabuzy.
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: So to me, that was a very iconic moment for me.
- 41:49SPEAKER_02: Because Shabuzy did the um and everybody in the clear game.
- 41:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, everybody in the bugging.
- 42:00SPEAKER_02: And this is this made me realize I'm not bugging when I tell people I don't like the way Drake moves when takes people shit.
- 42:14unknown: Right?
- 42:15SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 42:15SPEAKER_02: First first of all, you are breaking up.
- 42:17SPEAKER_02: So whatever fucking Wi-Fi you got going on, fix that.
- 42:21SPEAKER_02: I don't know what's going on because it's strong over here.
- 42:24SPEAKER_02: Nah.
- 42:25SPEAKER_02: It's not breaking up over here.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: Nigga, I got the master recording.
- 42:29SPEAKER_02: So whatever happens on this side is gonna be what happens.
- 42:32SPEAKER_02: But good.
- 42:33SPEAKER_02: But um like I when Drake be taking people and don't, you know, pay respect homage.
- 42:40SPEAKER_02: Can you give me an example of that?
- 42:43SPEAKER_02: Um not off the top of my head to you later, where he takes pictures and flip a like the whole shit with him and uh him and soldier boy with the kiss me through the phone, where he used his lines in there, and he don't he don't give back.
- 43:01SPEAKER_02: What what do you how would you want him to give back?
- 43:03SPEAKER_02: Hold on, how would you want him to give back?
- 43:06SPEAKER_02: What do you mean?
- 43:07SPEAKER_02: How would you want him to give back?
- 43:09SPEAKER_02: Because he's in my opinion, he's giving back to Soulja Boy, but I want to hear how you want him to be back.
- 43:12SPEAKER_02: No, I'm not saying just soul boy.
- 43:13SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying in general.
- 43:15SPEAKER_02: No, but this is my this is my problem.
- 43:17SPEAKER_02: Listen, I am not a well, actually, I am a Drake fan now.
- 43:20SPEAKER_02: I this this beef has made me has made me a fan of Drake.
- 43:23SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna defend him like I would defend anybody I'm a fan of.
- 43:26SPEAKER_02: I don't like these blanket statements without you giving me some like, what do you mean he don't give back?
- 43:33SPEAKER_02: I can give you uh hundreds of examples of how he's giving back.
- 43:37SPEAKER_02: Okay, and I can show you off air because I don't have it on hand right now.
- 43:42SPEAKER_02: But no, show me what though.
- 43:46SPEAKER_02: Giving back.
- 43:47SPEAKER_02: Because from Jay Quan.
- 43:50SPEAKER_02: Now you bring him out at the B.E.T.
- 43:52SPEAKER_02: Awards.
- 43:53SPEAKER_02: I'm pretty sure that Jay Quan probably either never been to the B.T.
- 43:58SPEAKER_02: Awards or never performed at the B.T.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: before and you're giving them a very iconic moment.
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: Why do you think the BT Awards is iconic?
- 44:08SPEAKER_01: See now you breaking up.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: Nigga, I don't know what to tell you.
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: Nah shit is shit is straight on my head.
- 44:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah you haven't been talking for like 30 seconds now.
- 44:33SPEAKER_02: You said why do I think what?
- 44:36SPEAKER_02: Alright hold on let's let's let's pause for a second.
- 44:40SPEAKER_02: The last thing I said was why do you think the BET Wars is iconic because is that not is black entertainment like that is something that we should embrace.
- 44:55SPEAKER_02: This is that's something we should embody we should take for ourselves yeah but you see this is where I get upset because because Shabuzi did something is why you think the BT Awards should be embraced.
- 45:09SPEAKER_02: Why didn't you feel this if if the BT Awards is iconic why you didn't feel about this last year you get me?
- 45:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah I don't know what just happened it started loaded again and stuff like that.
- 45:28SPEAKER_02: It was crazy just now on my screen you just didn't answer.
- 45:31SPEAKER_02: Ladies and gentlemen bear with us this is a fucking Zoom pod so yeah so what were you saying now?
- 45:38SPEAKER_01: I said this is my problem last year why did you not care about the BET awards that's a great question.
- 45:50SPEAKER_02: I know because it's it's gonna expose the hypocrisy but go continue continue but that's a great question I really don't know I just think as we're getting older we need to embrace what's ours before it's not there no more newsflash buddy it's not there anymore if it's still happening it's still there's still hope to you but again the B B E T is owned by a white company so there's a reason why there was only like three black male performers okay these are things you're not paying attention to because it's Shabuzi and Jay Quan apparently yeah but he brought he brought jay quan out and it really touched my soul it really made me feel good to see what's going on you didn't even watch it I did I actually watched that performance I didn't watch the whole BET awards I actually did watch that performance what time did he came off?
- 46:47SPEAKER_02: I didn't watch it there I watched it on YouTube that doesn't count that's my point you didn't you didn't support the BET awards you supported YouTube just saying I'm just saying you didn't watch when they check their numbers they're not gonna see that you watched it live that's where they get their money you got a point you got a point I know I do this is my problem with y'all niggas is y'all want shit to be important when it's important to y'all but y'all don't want it to be important in general and I think that shit is whack what I got from the BT Awards was there was no men you didn't watch the BT Awards but wait wait wait wait wait like you gotta elaborate on that what do what you mean by that that there was no men performers so what was Shabuzy so if two dudes perform out of the eight I'm just ten performances like the way you said it I was confused like what like nah shout shout out shabozy for performing uh country song at the BET Awards that's dope um but again Usher got like the lifetime achievement award and like no male artists perform we're talking about Usher that's strange okay true but again um when I thought about it wasn't super duper strange because I think the BT awards has been compromised for years now so what what do you think as I I said uh uh black artists wish we should look to be award wise uh personally I think fuck award shows period all of them all of them so at this day and age a war awards don't mean nothing no more no they mean a lot but for if you asking me I I I say fuck them all until part of me until we can get one that is foo boo for us by us okay until that happens like revolt revolt tv awards are in fire I'm gonna ask you a question yes sir if we do revolt tv awards right what what aspect would we do different in the B R the B E T awards why is burner boy in the RB male section where he's supposed to be so you you think burner boy makes RB music I would say RB pop somebody I would consider it RB and pop but the and and this again is the essence of my problem so you would put uh um vibes cartel and Barris Hammond in the same award section if you were making a show no wait no okay so that's how I feel about putting Burna Boy in RB music he does not make RB music okay so who's an RB male artist is that a serious question I'm being serious right now who is an RB male artist Chris Brown okay who else lucky day I don't know who that is uh I'm I never really got into this dude's music but what type of music does Blast make Mario does but Mario not still making music is he nigga all of these people are still making music that's what I'm trying to explain to you I can't I ain't gonna lie I haven't heard a Mario song in so long yeah because you don't listen to RB music that doesn't surprise you because you think burner boy is RB for some reason.
- 50:58SPEAKER_02: But I would say he's like the new age RB I ain't gonna lie you are fucking crazy.
- 51:03SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna be honest with you because TM Afrobeats he's closer to a rapper than he is an RB you know you have to be able to sing to make RB music right doesn't burner boy have something he's singing yo my brother I don't know what you classify as singing but no he don't make RB music that's that's point blank period um Tyler beats sexy red for best new female artists um I think I think and this is really scary I think that uh when they do these awards I think like it's not just music that that could that that uh contributes okay that's fine in my opinion but again still how does she be sexy red based on that metric?
- 51:56SPEAKER_02: Um like do you see the trends that's going on the shits that's viral right now the whole Tyler trend all that shit that's going on that's why I literally's pushing her over.
- 52:09SPEAKER_02: So you you making an award show I'm asking you because we're doing our own award show so you would have burner boy and RB and you would have Tyler over sexy rep uh if it's our own award show what's the kind of is yours best new female artists.
- 52:27SPEAKER_02: Best new female artists this nigga really said burner boy's RB music.
- 52:33SPEAKER_02: This this should hurt that should hurt my feelings uh after this pod I'm driving over to your crib and I'm taking that black card out your wallet I gotta hold on to that for you I don't want you passing that shit around I I personally don't know because I really don't listen to Tyler so I would probably pick sexy red I don't listen I don't listen to either of them and it's sexy red and to me it's not that close.
- 52:58SPEAKER_02: It's close to me to me it's close but it's not that close.
- 53:01SPEAKER_02: Like it shouldn't have been a debate I think it was easily sexy red sexy red is fucking hotter than fiscal sexy red is with the fucking president like what do we get I I get that but they probably looking at different aspects.
- 53:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah but I don't for my award show there's no there's no bigger aspect than that.
- 53:18SPEAKER_02: Mario not even in my award show.
- 53:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah because you don't know RB music is so I understand that it is what it is burn a boy he went in that category best RB yeah that's sick that's disgusting and that's the and that's the reason why BET is gonna be lit no disrespect because people like you chaboozy don't even beat goth brooks best this is my award show buddy no I know but that's that's that's what I'm trying to explain to you that's the problem with having BET and you trying to make it some iconic thing that it's not no more because black people don't run BET because no disrespect to you for me no but that's what I'm saying you you are you you just said that we should look at BET as ours how can we look at it we should look at it as making it us again but how well how can we do that when there's people like you telling me that burn boy is RB music that sounds like no disrespect like some person that doesn't listen to RB music would say okay so those people should not have an opinion on the culture some some people may agree with me some people may disagree I don't think anybody's gonna agree with you honestly okay because he because he doesn't even make that type of music he literally doesn't make RB music we'll do a poll no like I again I don't I think you're missing my point the people that we're going to poll probably do not listen to RB music is what I'm saying to you.
- 54:39SPEAKER_02: So why should what if these people do no I don't know if they do or not I'm just assuming the general public RB music is not a big genre it's not a it's it's not a big genre.
- 54:48SPEAKER_02: So my my thing is why would I have people that do not listen to RB music why why should they have a vote how would you feel if the people in Tennessee got to pick who the soca monarch was like how would you feel about that if I'm gonna tell you right now if they had a soaker carnival there No that's not what I said you see you you move to the goalpost you move in the goalpost.
- 55:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah you are because I right because so I'm asking you so so who so who was the soccer monarch last year depending for where if I if I'm not mistaken I think Trinidad has their own for like I have never heard the phrase soccer monarch outside of Trinidad I have never heard it outside of it I'm gonna look I'ma look it up because I I'm almost positive that carnivals have their own thing I've I've been to I've been to a a a few Antioch carnivals in my life and the words so monarch has never came out and you're frozen again right now I don't know how that happens yeah like on my screen you're not moving at all that's alright yeah I can hear you I hear you loud and clear that's crazy what's that's mad weird it's um it's your it's your wifi d probably got a lot going on which is you know it probably is everybody like jumping on the Wi-Fi because everybody is up right now.
- 56:15SPEAKER_02: Yep that's what happens that's why I said we gotta get this shit done early man everybody's moving and shaking yeah I see it now because everything's frozen over here yeah I'm I'm still moving on my shit you you straight up frozen but as long as we can hear you we should yeah that's fine as long as we can hear now you gone all altogether um chu Chubbs is gone I think um I I'ma give him some time to get back on the um you know but yeah um while I wait for him to get back on here I really I just wanted to to to get to the point that um for any of these award shows to actually matter in my opinion you gotta get people of the culture people that respect the culture to make the decisions on these things that's why the Grammys which monetarily the Grammys is lit because once you become a Grammy nominated just a nomination is enough to like have your career you know pop off.
- 57:32SPEAKER_02: But um it's just disingenuous to me when we got people like again no disrespect to my man Chelsea my man but you don't listen to RB music so why why should I like not hear your opinion but you shouldn't be the decision maker on who was nominated I mean maybe if I gave you some choices your vote could count for like a percentage but I don't think that works so yeah I don't I don't think I don't think we're gonna get chubbed so we probably gonna wrap right here we didn't get through everything and I apologize you know to y'all y'all don't deserve this but bear with us man we we we getting it out the trunk we we you know this is rotten apple shit we just want to bring it to you and I appreciate y'all and maybe we all we try to link back up again later and finish the episode but for right now we're giving it to you like this I appreciate y'all y'all blah blah blah I appreciate y'all look at me tongue tied um can I get a perfect nobody nobody out there yeah thank you we off
