- 0:00Speaker 1: It was a Christmas party of intormation and oh my gosh,
- 0:03Speaker 1: the fridge is jammed. Let's clean out the sound fridge.
- 0:06Speaker 2: I'm we're actually having our company Christmas thingy today. It's
- 0:15Speaker 2: a lunch, a luncheon, lunch at eleven thirty. But women
- 0:20Speaker 2: are excited. I've noticed in the out and about women
- 0:24Speaker 2: get more excited about this sort of thing than dudes do.
- 0:26Speaker 2: In general.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Yeah, generally.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I don't know how many Christmas parties you'd ever have
- 0:30Speaker 2: if it was just guys, or if you did have them,
- 0:33Speaker 2: they'd be much different.
- 0:36Speaker 1: That's an interesting thought. It probably wouldn't get organized.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I remember a brief period in my life, very brief,
- 0:42Speaker 2: where I was involved with a very social woman. I
- 0:48Speaker 2: remember when Christmas went liked to eight parties as I
- 0:50Speaker 2: had like two week the last month. It was like crazy,
- 0:55Speaker 2: that had to be rough on you. It was I
- 0:57Speaker 2: haven't been to a Christmas party in years of any kind,
- 1:01Speaker 2: work or anybody's house, but I'm going to the lunch today.
- 1:05Speaker 2: I'll make an appearance anyway.
- 1:07Speaker 1: There you go.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Mostly because the boss said yesterday, coming tomorrow, and I
- 1:10Speaker 2: said sure, not knowing what he was talking about. And
- 1:14Speaker 2: then I kind of rolled myself into it. All right,
- 1:17Speaker 2: let's clean out sand fridge. We had so much great audio.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Sorry metal guy, you're quite right. Let's start with something
- 1:24Speaker 2: we did play on the show. But it's just so
- 1:26Speaker 2: damn good.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Michael ten please, hey, scary of your seat, and I
- 1:33Speaker 1: have got a great Christmas pressure for you.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Listen to this.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Ha ha.
- 1:42Speaker 3: That's what a goose shows like, where they're fun. They
- 1:46Speaker 3: let you know they're up there. You get a bush
- 1:52Speaker 3: of geese together, they're howking in the air.
- 1:57Speaker 2: So that's the third time I've heard it. For somehow,
- 2:00Speaker 2: for some reason, I overlooked the fact that he says,
- 2:03Speaker 2: I've got a Christmas present for you. I've got a
- 2:06Speaker 2: great Christmas This is my Christmas present from from actor
- 2:09Speaker 2: Gary Busey, and it was it was a gift. You're
- 2:12Speaker 2: going to honk like a goose.
- 2:14Speaker 1: All right. Well, when he portrays the multiple geese that
- 2:19Speaker 1: I felt like I was there.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Because he's he was an Oscar nominee. He knows what
- 2:25Speaker 2: he's doing.
- 2:26Speaker 4: I also love the fact that this isn't a selfie video.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Someone shot this of him.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Wow, as cinematographer, what was he wearing like a sweater
- 2:38Speaker 1: and some ball cap and his hair's all crazy.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Coming out of the.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Plot, I was gonna say, does he look nuts slash homeless?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's on brand. Yeah, yep, yep. Okay, So
- 2:49Speaker 1: this is Michael. We're going to go to fifteen. This
- 2:52Speaker 1: is a cooking tip. Do we need anything more Katie
- 2:56Speaker 1: on this?
- 2:57Speaker 4: He's he's like a punk rocker, so he cusses a lot.
- 3:00Speaker 4: He's covered in tattoos and his hairs like past his shoulders.
- 3:03Speaker 1: So it's kind of like a chef TV chef guy. Yeah,
- 3:06Speaker 1: and his name is chef Nason.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Okay, apparently if the microwave garlic for ten seconds and
- 3:14Speaker 5: peals super easily. If this is true, I'll be staked.
- 3:18Speaker 5: I feel complex about this. I don't tend to enjoy
- 3:20Speaker 5: cooking in the microwave ten seconds where we go hate
- 3:25Speaker 5: says he? I oh warm, Oh because he put them
- 3:32Speaker 5: in the microwave. You kid, Okay, that's one out of four?
- 3:37Speaker 5: Cough it works, it does, it works?
- 3:41Speaker 2: I did it? Oh my god, it really works. First
- 3:47Speaker 2: of all, who's your companion? But uh, what's cheer up?
- 3:50Speaker 1: Baby?
- 3:51Speaker 2: I can't understand what he was saying. What what did
- 3:52Speaker 2: he peel?
- 3:53Speaker 4: Or it was a clove of garlic and he took
- 3:56Speaker 4: he broke the garlic and took it and put it
- 3:59Speaker 4: in the microwave.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And I try.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I saw this video, so I was like, this can't work.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Because peel and garlic is a pain.
- 4:05Speaker 4: It is one of the things I hate to do
- 4:08Speaker 4: the most.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:11Speaker 4: I love to cook, but doing that sucks. And I
- 4:14Speaker 4: tried it and it works.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that that's a great tip. I love cooking Chinese
- 4:21Speaker 1: food from scratch in a walk. It tastes unbelievably good.
- 4:26Speaker 1: But the prep work, to me is so tedious and
- 4:30Speaker 1: I'm not good at it, and so I don't do it.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I need a servant or a slave or something to
- 4:35Speaker 1: do the prep work. I did get that was a joke.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I need a Sioux chef.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Yes, there was.
- 4:45Speaker 1: A living wage.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I'll either hire someone to do this or bind someone
- 4:53Speaker 2: in Chattle slavery.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Joe.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Just to let you know, there is a gadget on
- 4:59Speaker 4: on the interwell where it's called like, it's not the
- 5:02Speaker 4: slap chop, but.
- 5:03Speaker 1: It's oh yeah, I know we have one of those.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Okay, that's saved. That's also saved my slap chop. Yeah,
- 5:09Speaker 4: it's like this little box thing and you just cut
- 5:12Speaker 4: like an onion into quarters and then you put it
- 5:13Speaker 4: on top and you bring this thing down and it rotates.
- 5:17Speaker 1: It's yours your yeah diicon stuff A good A good reminder.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Thank you. Let's see you moving along. Oh this is funny.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I actually saw this video yesterday. This is a band
- 5:27Speaker 1: by the name of the do Hickeys who are doing
- 5:30Speaker 1: an updated version of the Christmas Classic, which is not
- 5:33Speaker 1: at all rapey. Baby, it's cold outside. My mother will
- 5:39Speaker 1: start to you live with your mom my father?
- 5:44Speaker 2: How old are you so really, I'd better scooty. I'm
- 5:48Speaker 2: scissor twenty nine. Have the drink more.
- 5:52Speaker 1: No, you need to get out of my house and
- 5:53Speaker 1: bring it out, saying what's in the street drink? Never
- 6:00Speaker 1: see made the tree?
- 6:04Speaker 2: Oh my god, Oh my god, I'm going to jail.
- 6:10Speaker 2: No no, no, this can me. Haven't you haven't even moved.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Cora Alexi will be here in two minutes. I like
- 6:27Speaker 2: the way they turned it around because that's kind of
- 6:29Speaker 2: true too. She's like, you know, she's kind of inviting
- 6:32Speaker 2: herself over and maybe you know, all these years I've
- 6:36Speaker 2: been listening to it with the assumption that he wants
- 6:37Speaker 2: her to stay, but you don't know that it might
- 6:39Speaker 2: have been. Yeah, that's okay, man, how old are you?
- 6:43Speaker 2: It's not that cold?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Go ahead, yeah, okay, which which leaves us up your mom,
- 6:51Speaker 1: the APS is twenty nine. Ah, that's really funny. So
- 6:56Speaker 1: this is the awful Internet person of the mom. Once
- 7:02Speaker 1: she comes across an elderly woman working at Target who
- 7:07Speaker 1: is wearing a patriotic T shirt that includes the name
- 7:10Speaker 1: of Charlie Kirk in the way that Target people just
- 7:14Speaker 1: have to wear a red, clean red shirt and then
- 7:17Speaker 1: they put their name tag on top of it, et cetera.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Listen to this.
- 7:22Speaker 2: I can wear red, any red shirt, but Charlie kirkshirt.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Yes, oh yes, I know. Are you stupid? No?
- 7:30Speaker 2: Why the would you wear that? You're at work at Target?
- 7:33Speaker 2: Do you support a.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Racist and it's not racist? Yes?
- 7:37Speaker 2: I'm sorry that at here and arguing you're not.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You should go get your manager.
- 7:41Speaker 2: You should not be allowed to wear the artwork?
- 7:44Speaker 6: Got your the opinion?
- 7:45Speaker 2: Is he a racist and you support him?
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yes?
- 7:48Speaker 2: You're This is going to be taken above your head.
- 7:52Speaker 4: That's insane.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Gott hate you. I could not hate you.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Are you fing stupid? She says to the old lady.
- 8:00Speaker 2: That's the classic. They think we're evil, We think they're
- 8:04Speaker 2: annoying or nuts. You know, because I see T shirts
- 8:07Speaker 2: all the time from things that I don't agree with
- 8:10Speaker 2: political ian I will roll my eyes. Well whatever, good
- 8:12Speaker 2: for you, Yeah, coexist or you know, whatever the hell
- 8:15Speaker 2: it is, or your Kamma hairs teachert or whatever. But
- 8:17Speaker 2: I don't think you're evil and need to call your
- 8:20Speaker 2: boss and argue with an old woman who's working at Target. God,
- 8:24Speaker 2: you're a horrible human being.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible. Well, the the utter lack of
- 8:29Speaker 1: any argument in the classic sense, it's just your effing
- 8:32Speaker 1: stupid you're a racist. Oh man, I do hate those people.
- 8:35Speaker 1: There's some hate speech for you. I hate you. But anyways, Yeah,
- 8:39Speaker 1: well they have Katie.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Yeah she I mean, first of all, she filmed this
- 8:44Speaker 4: herself and posted it because she's so certain, yeah that
- 8:49Speaker 4: everybody agrees with her, right, and so then it goes viral,
- 8:53Speaker 4: and of course, like the internet does, they figured out
- 8:55Speaker 4: where she works.
- 8:56Speaker 1: She works in healthcare, so they California.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Yeah, in California, because this happened in Chico, and uh
- 9:04Speaker 4: she I mean they're actually the health care facility that
- 9:09Speaker 4: she works for put out a statement saying, like, listen,
- 9:11Speaker 4: we've heard about the video. Our phone lines are so
- 9:14Speaker 4: jammed with people trying to call us about this that
- 9:17Speaker 4: our actual patients can't get through, so please email us
- 9:20Speaker 4: like she yeah, she's she's done, and there does. Somebody
- 9:24Speaker 4: started some fund for the woman that was getting whose
- 9:26Speaker 4: name is Genie by the way, somebody started a fund
- 9:29Speaker 4: for Genie and they've raised over like one hundred and
- 9:31Speaker 4: twenty thousand dollars already for her.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Because okay, it's the other there's the other wrinkle in
- 9:36Speaker 2: these stories. They always go and this person should end
- 9:39Speaker 2: up rich because that person what.
- 9:42Speaker 1: You end up fired, you end up rich. Internet justice exactly. Wow,
- 9:50Speaker 1: So how do we feel about the internet vengeance?
- 9:54Speaker 2: I don't want her to lose her job.
- 9:56Speaker 1: If anybody has it coming. She did so has nothing
- 10:02Speaker 1: to do with her work duties, although she displayed herself
- 10:05Speaker 1: as an awful human.
- 10:07Speaker 2: The biggest difference with this one is she posted it,
- 10:13Speaker 2: so you invited the world to comment on this. You
- 10:16Speaker 2: literally invited the world to comment.
- 10:18Speaker 4: On Yes, yeah, she really thought she was doing something.
- 10:20Speaker 2: It's way different than if somebody had videoed this and
- 10:24Speaker 2: then posted it and then everybody goes after it.
- 10:26Speaker 1: She's still awful, right, It's a different things. So let's
- 10:30Speaker 1: break this down into a couple of different questions. Number one, Okay,
- 10:34Speaker 1: so she posted it. I think it's legitimate that people
- 10:36Speaker 1: post their hatred and derision. I have not mentioned her
- 10:41Speaker 1: name though I know it, because I don't want to
- 10:44Speaker 1: be part of that piling on because mob justice is
- 10:47Speaker 1: rarely just justice. Would you agree, Jack or what? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: I don't need to be part of that. Or is
- 10:57Speaker 1: that just me keeping my hands clean?
- 11:00Speaker 2: No, because there's nut jobs are gonna slash her tires
- 11:03Speaker 2: or you know whatever.
- 11:06Speaker 4: I'm with you on that. Because all of her social
- 11:09Speaker 4: media has been shut down since this blew up, but
- 11:12Speaker 4: before it was shut down, there's now pictures of her
- 11:15Speaker 4: daughter and.
- 11:16Speaker 6: Her husband all over the place. Oh no, no, yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 6: so it escalates your daughter because you've got a bad
- 11:24Speaker 6: person for a mom. Well, her daughter did that, apple
- 11:26Speaker 6: didn't fall very far. Let's just put it that way.
- 11:29Speaker 4: They took a picture in front of a vehicle that
- 11:31Speaker 4: had a Trump sticker, and they're both doing a gun
- 11:33Speaker 4: to their neck like Charlie Kirk when he got shot.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Oh my, what is wrong with you people, which brings
- 11:41Speaker 1: us to the employer. Now, I don't think you ought
- 11:45Speaker 1: to fire your employee just because the internet mob comes
- 11:48Speaker 1: for them. Don't. In fact, don't do that because the
- 11:50Speaker 1: internet mob is notoriously fickle and unfair.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Yeah, if you wait forty eight hours, it'll be the
- 11:56Speaker 2: ancient history.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Now, we are by nature political and conservatively political, so
- 12:06Speaker 1: this our operation might be a bad example. But I'm
- 12:12Speaker 1: trying to figure out if you know what I'm trying
- 12:17Speaker 1: to picture like, and this is unlikely to the point
- 12:19Speaker 1: of hilarity. If Michaelangelow posted a viral video of himself utterly,
- 12:27Speaker 1: viciously and unfairly chewing out an elderly person, I wouldn't.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I wouldn't want to work with him anymore. And Michael,
- 12:37Speaker 1: let's not even in fun. Let's not use to using
- 12:39Speaker 1: an example because it's so you're caring. I wouldn't want
- 12:42Speaker 1: to work with me either. But if if if Johnny,
- 12:45Speaker 1: the producer who we employed, uh give me on that video,
- 12:51Speaker 1: I would not. I would not work with him anymore. Yeah,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I changed my outlook on the person.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Sure, No, I don't want to work with you anymore.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Either of you did that.
- 13:01Speaker 1: And if I'm the boss in that operation. Of course
- 13:04Speaker 1: in cal Unicornea, you've got to come up with this convoluted,
- 13:07Speaker 1: stupid communist plan for improvement. Try not to be a
- 13:11Speaker 1: monster anymore, a moral monster, Johnny. And we've got to
- 13:15Speaker 1: meet twice a week to see how you're measuring up
- 13:18Speaker 1: to my request that you not be a monster anymore.
- 13:20Speaker 1: I don't know exactly how you deal with that.
- 13:23Speaker 3: God.
- 13:24Speaker 2: What a terrible person.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, just awful. If you have lost the
- 13:33Speaker 1: capacity to say I might be wrong, you have lost
- 13:37Speaker 1: your humanity. I think Voltaire said that, or if not Voltaire,
- 13:42Speaker 1: somebody Voltaire adjacent.
- 13:45Speaker 2: I'd been saying for years though, we needed just a
- 13:47Speaker 2: little dose of vigilanti justice. And the problem with it
- 13:52Speaker 2: is it always gets out of hand, and that's why
- 13:53Speaker 2: you can't really have it. Yeah, but we do have
- 13:57Speaker 2: a little bit of it now. In the modern world,
- 14:00Speaker 2: you get on the wrong side of the internet mob,
- 14:02Speaker 2: things can get pretty ugly for you.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Also consider I mean, I think that her her profession
- 14:09Speaker 4: takes it like it should be considered here because she
- 14:11Speaker 4: works in healthcare, so we're thinking like bedside manner. Yeah,
- 14:17Speaker 4: people that you know, she's unhinged kind of a thing
- 14:20Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 14:21Speaker 1: And vicious, Yeah, I mean, if somebody is clearly a
- 14:25Speaker 1: vicious person, I don't think they're well suited for healthcare. Yeah.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I mean, what if, for instance, an elderly Gary Busey
- 14:33Speaker 1: were to come in looking for the assistance he so
- 14:37Speaker 1: clearly needs, she'd be right him for his shirt. Let
- 14:51Speaker 1: me ask you, guys, if that had happened right in
- 14:53Speaker 1: front of you and you're at Target, would you guys
- 14:55Speaker 1: have stepped in there? Hey Liver, how long you lunatic
- 15:01Speaker 1: would have been beginning without another family's child at Arlington
- 15:05Speaker 1: National Cemetery. Michael So, yes, yes, I would.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Good to hear. Well, I guess that's it.
