Najah: Y'all gotta stop mistaken kindness for flirting. Damn, I just can't be nice. I just can't tell somebody. You have a nice smile. or hope you have a good day. Without y'all assuming I'm flirting. Ain't nobody flirting with you. I think some of y'all confuse attraction with intention. Because if somebody you didn't find attractive said the exact same thing. You'd call them friendly. But if somebody you think fine says it, now they want you. No, you want them. That's the difference. You're assigning intentions based on who you find attractive. Not what they actually said. Sometimes you have a nice smile. Just means you have a nice smile. Sometimes have a good day. Just means have a good day. Stop making people responsible for the story you created in your head. Keep this in mind. Your attraction to me does not automatically become my attraction to you. So me smiling and being social and being kind does not mean I'm flirting. I am not flirting with you.
