- 4:05Speaker 3: Dolly Parton said, if you don't like the road you're walking,
- 4:09Speaker 3: start paving another one So if you're not happy with
- 4:12Speaker 3: where your life is going, you don't have to keep
- 4:14Speaker 3: going down that path. Right, You've got the power to
- 4:16Speaker 3: make a change and create a new direction for yourself.
- 4:20Speaker 3: You are not stuck. You can take control and build
- 4:23Speaker 3: a life that works for you. Again, Dolly Parton said,
- 4:26Speaker 3: if you don't like the road you're walking, start paving
- 4:29Speaker 3: another one, and you can find that if you search
- 4:32Speaker 3: WASHFM on Instagram and Facebook.
- 4:35Speaker 2: All right, great quote, chilly, unless you're stuck in traffic
- 4:37Speaker 2: right now. Coming up next, would AI refs have helped
- 4:40Speaker 2: the commanders last night? We were talking about this last week,
- 4:43Speaker 2: the possibility of the NFL having AI refs. We have
- 4:46Speaker 2: a talkback message from one of our listeners, Walter Is
- 4:49Speaker 2: he on Chiley's side who says, yeah, this might be
- 4:52Speaker 2: good or my side says this is a terrible idea.
- 4:54Speaker 2: We'll chat about it next. Good morning, It's Toby and
- 4:57Speaker 2: Chile in the Morning ninety seven point one FM. I'm
- 5:01Speaker 2: kidd o'she continuing in a conversation we started last week.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Yeah, So, while Roger Goodell, who's the commissioner of the NFL,
- 5:07Speaker 3: is looking into potentially using AI technology to get more
- 5:12Speaker 3: calls right, because the refs, with their human eyes, sometimes
- 5:16Speaker 3: miss things. Yeah, there's a lot of people on the field,
- 5:18Speaker 3: a lot of plays, and I thought it would be
- 5:20Speaker 3: a good idea because honestly, I think sometimes those refs
- 5:23Speaker 3: are biased.
- 5:25Speaker 4: You don't trust them.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I don't trust all of them.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I said, this is a terrible ideat slowing the game down.
- 5:30Speaker 2: We wanted to know what you thought, so you can
- 5:32Speaker 2: leave us a talkback message. Anytime you hear us talking
- 5:34Speaker 2: about something here on the radio, you just open up
- 5:36Speaker 2: the iHeart app search ninety seven point one wash FM,
- 5:39Speaker 2: and then use that red microphone to leave us a message.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Walter left us a message. Here's what he thinks.
- 5:45Speaker 6: Yeah, Walter Daniels, Washington, DC.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Leave the AI out of the game.
- 5:50Speaker 7: Let the players play.
- 5:52Speaker 3: If anything, you can use it for concussion control, you know.
- 5:56Speaker 4: Just to provide oversight around the safety. But other than that,
- 6:00Speaker 4: let the game be played naturally. Walter, I agree, of
- 6:04Speaker 4: course you do.
- 6:05Speaker 3: But that's a He makes a really good point though
- 6:07Speaker 3: about the injury preciation. Yeah, so call people out for
- 6:11Speaker 3: their inappropriate tackles.
- 6:13Speaker 2: All right, anytime you got something on your mind, open
- 6:15Speaker 2: up the iHeart app, use that red microphone and leave
- 6:17Speaker 2: us the message. It comes directly here to the studio

- 7:31Speaker 3: As the government shut down continues, funding for food assistance
- 7:36Speaker 3: is set to run out this Saturday, which will affect
- 7:38Speaker 3: over forty million Americans. Yesterday saw almost seven thousand flights
- 7:43Speaker 3: delayed as air traffic control towers deal with staffing issues
- 7:46Speaker 3: during the shutdown. A Prince George's County firefighter has been
- 7:50Speaker 3: arrested on charges of possessing and distributing child pornography. Investigators
- 7:55Speaker 3: say that thirty five year old suspects share child sexual
- 7:58Speaker 3: abuse materials online, with some of the alleged offenses taking
- 8:02Speaker 3: place inside his assigned firehouse in Chillum. A Montgarmy County
- 8:07Speaker 3: mother says that her son suffered severe brain injuries after
- 8:11Speaker 3: another student through a metal object that hit him during
- 8:14Speaker 3: gym class at Odessa Shannon Middle School in Silver Spring,
- 8:18Speaker 3: and that boy remains in the ICU case you missed it.
- 8:22Speaker 3: The Washington commanders fell to the Kansas City Chiefs twenty
- 8:25Speaker 3: eight to seven last night, and they were going to
- 8:27Speaker 3: try to break their three game losing streak when they
- 8:30Speaker 3: take on the Seahawks this Sunday. And finally, according to
- 8:33Speaker 3: a recent study, sleeping in a bright bedroom raises your
- 8:36Speaker 3: heart attack risk by forty two percent and increases the
- 8:40Speaker 3: risk of other heart conditions, with women being more vulnerable.
- 8:44Speaker 3: So keeping your bedrooms dark with blackout curtains and also
- 8:47Speaker 3: turning off devices can help protect your heart. Forecast today
- 8:50Speaker 3: cloudy and breezy with highs in the upper fifties. Right
- 8:53Speaker 3: now forty two in Booie.
- 8:55Speaker 2: All right, I'm kiddo'she coming up next. Travel divorces are
- 8:58Speaker 2: on the rise, probably seeing this online, So what exactly
- 9:02Speaker 2: is it? Do you think it would work for you
- 9:03Speaker 2: and your partner. We'll give you all the details about
- 9:06Speaker 2: it so you can decide. Coming up next, Toby and
- 9:09Speaker 2: Chile in the morning, ninety seven point one Wash FM.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I'm kidd O'Shea. We're talking about airport divorces.
- 9:15Speaker 3: It's not as dramatic as it sounds, but this is
- 9:18Speaker 3: where couples temporarily split up after they go through security
- 9:23Speaker 3: or TSA at the airport and they each do their
- 9:26Speaker 3: own thing before meeting back at the gate. Apparently this
- 9:30Speaker 3: helps reduce stress and prevents any conflicts because airport environment
- 9:35Speaker 3: can be really tense.
- 9:37Speaker 4: I didn't know this is a thing Chile until just now,
- 9:39Speaker 4: and I love it.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Do you and your partner bicker a lot after you
- 9:43Speaker 3: get to the airport that you find this would be
- 9:45Speaker 3: a good thing for you?
- 9:47Speaker 2: No, we don't bicker, and we do travel really well together.
- 9:49Speaker 2: So I will give my partner Kyle credit for that. Okay,
- 9:52Speaker 2: but I travel a lot more often than he does
- 9:54Speaker 2: because of my job at Good Morning Washington, and I'm
- 9:58Speaker 2: just very comfortable and relaxed in the airport. I don't
- 10:00Speaker 2: really stressed out about anything. He's a little bit more
- 10:01Speaker 2: like should we be there? So it's like it'd be nice,
- 10:04Speaker 2: like you go do your thing, I'll go do my
- 10:06Speaker 2: thing and let's just meet at the gate.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Yeah, what about you? My husband and I also travel well.
- 10:11Speaker 3: But I feel like if we're going to talk about
- 10:13Speaker 3: an airport divorce, what would really stress me out is
- 10:16Speaker 3: if I was with somebody that showed up at the
- 10:17Speaker 3: airport later than I'm comfortable. Wow, so maybe we should
- 10:21Speaker 3: get a divorce, a rival divorce.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Yes, that way, right, Like you come.
- 10:25Speaker 3: When you feel like you want to show up at
- 10:27Speaker 3: the airport, we'll be.
- 10:27Speaker 6: In Chili's nearly impossible question.
- 10:29Speaker 4: That's another way of looking at it, all right? What
- 10:31Speaker 4: is today's question? Chile?
- 10:33Speaker 3: Ironically? According to a survey, this is the most stressful
- 10:37Speaker 3: part of traveling. What is it? And no, it is
- 10:40Speaker 3: not related to the airport.

- 10:57Speaker 3: According to a survey, this is the most stressful part
- 11:01Speaker 3: of traveling.
- 11:02Speaker 4: What is it? All right?
- 11:03Speaker 2: Eight six six nine two seven four to three sixty one.

- 11:48Speaker 3: you could forget to take something.
- 11:51Speaker 7: Yes, it's just not pleasurable.
- 11:54Speaker 3: That's true. That's also the correct answer. That's the most
- 11:57Speaker 3: stressful part of traveling. Congratulations, thank you.
- 12:02Speaker 4: And the unpacking is not funny either. I wait about
- 12:04Speaker 4: two weeks on that.
- 12:05Speaker 2: You've got two tickets to see bon Jovi at Madison

- 17:35Speaker 8: We are still there. Fred has not spoken to us
- 17:38Speaker 8: in quite some time.
- 17:39Speaker 7: A friend of mine came over and smudged the place,

- 18:09Speaker 3: who literally had a temper tantrumno over bubble tea. Oh
- 18:13Speaker 3: more on that. Next, A.

- 18:19Speaker 6: It's Toby and Shelley's crazy first date.
- 18:21Speaker 3: In College Park. Violet, we can't wait to hear this
- 18:25Speaker 3: crazy first date story.
- 18:26Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 18:27Speaker 5: I went on a date a couple of years ago
- 18:30Speaker 5: with a mutual friend that I met through some coworkers.
- 18:34Speaker 5: He seems super nice. We were flirting all night long.
- 18:36Speaker 5: Its like we should go get bubble tea. One day.
- 18:38Speaker 5: I was really excited to hang out with him. We
- 18:40Speaker 5: met at Tyson's Corner for some bubble tea and I
- 18:43Speaker 5: was super nervous for the dates. He was really cute
- 18:45Speaker 5: and he orders for me. He orders his own, and
- 18:48Speaker 5: he ends up not liking what he ordered, so he
- 18:50Speaker 5: goes back up to the front counter and he's like
- 18:53Speaker 5: demanding a refund from them. He ends up not getting it,
- 18:56Speaker 5: so he's super sad about it. He throws his drink
- 18:59Speaker 5: in the trash, like make the scene. E. Then he
- 19:01Speaker 5: threw my drink in the trash and I'm like, oh,

- 19:07Speaker 5: said we're gonna get lunch. So we're walking around the
- 19:09Speaker 5: mall and he ends up just walking me back to
- 19:12Speaker 5: his car, and he had parked on the roof of
- 19:14Speaker 5: Tyson's Corner and we had in the car and I'm like,
- 19:17Speaker 5: all the seats are down already. That's so weird. And
- 19:20Speaker 5: I had to make an excuse to leave the date
- 19:21Speaker 5: because I just was like, this is not a good experience,
- 19:24Speaker 5: is terrible.
- 19:25Speaker 3: So you kind of understood from the way those seats
- 19:28Speaker 3: were positioned that he was looking for a little bit
- 19:31Speaker 3: of a hook up.
- 19:32Speaker 5: He just wanted to hook up on the roof of
- 19:34Speaker 5: the mall. He's like, it was on my bucket.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Lest he actually admitted that to you, Violet.
- 19:39Speaker 5: Yeah, and I'm like, that's ridiculous.
- 19:41Speaker 3: If he hadn't had that temper tantrum, would you have
- 19:44Speaker 3: considered it.
- 19:44Speaker 5: I would have considered it, yeah, but not for me.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Shova's dad.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Did he try to ask you out again for a
- 19:50Speaker 3: do over?
- 19:51Speaker 5: Yeah? He texted me like four times, and then he
- 19:53Speaker 5: reached out to our mutual friend and he's like Viole's ghosting.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Me and did he get the hind?
