- 7:48[SPEAKER_11]: I don't do that.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_11]: But anyway, where it hit was not.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_11]: It was on the arsenal street side and broke right through into the building at van right into the building.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_11]: Apparently the driver had something got a medical episode, perhaps a stroke.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_11]: And we wish.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_11]: wish the best for him no one else injured we hear of that's good news to but boy is that scary to see that happen all of a sudden wow and uh... no one heard in the building other particular uh... storefront was not in use at this time it was planned for a pool harb pool hall uh... but uh... was not being used at this time so uh... i guess the buildings closed down for the day
- 8:31[SPEAKER_11]: the electricity they got to separate that part of the building from the rest of the electrical stuff in the building.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_11]: So I don't know.

- 8:44[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_11]: And the other shops in the smoke shop, well, they can sell it.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_11]: They don't need electricity to sell their product.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_11]: And well, the tanning salon, obviously, needs
- 9:02[SPEAKER_11]: Is there anything that Shannon's not into?
- 9:05[SPEAKER_11]: Is there anything?
- 9:06[SPEAKER_11]: I mean it.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_11]: I mean it.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_11]: She has got to be.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_11]: I talked to her this morning because I called her to see if I wanted to make sure it wasn't her story that was hit and probably the most incredible business woman ever.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_11]: 755-1240 is the phone number if you'd like to give us a call.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_11]: other things going on so you know there's a big swore eight tonight over at the garland city that's a nice place really is on a house street just off-croft feet right near the house of horrors there and uh... they're gonna have a some kind of event fundraiser for scott gray i was talking to the mayor of governor
- 9:44[SPEAKER_11]: Mayor McDougall he's going 99 bucks a person 150 a couple but if you go to the six o'clock if you go to the five o'clock pre-reception that's a VIP reception for 500 I don't think anybody at water town base 500 for anything but
- 10:00[SPEAKER_11]: is assembly seats not up to next year and he's probably going to be on a post if he did run.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_11]: I'm thinking there's just a you look at his recent trip to DC to the White House you look at his trip to the southern border in Arizona now this big swarray if this guy's not running for a guy was you know I'm not an old koot all right so that's what it looks like to me and I
- 10:31[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, let's see what else is happening here.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_11]: There's not a lot of, let's see.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody sent me a video from a guy named Lonnie Cooves.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_11]: He wants to run for assembly in the 117th.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_11]: That's the Blank and Bush District.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_11]: He wants a debate on January that's not going to happen, but good luck to him.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_11]: And let's see how he does in a petition process.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_11]: If he gets on the ballot against Mr. B. Bush there, then we'll talk to him.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_11]: other than that uh... not much going on there uh... let's see uh... don't forget i trouble twenty first it's a Tuesday is it a Tuesday let me look at my count yes it is the big debate city council debate four candidates let's say shane gara brand peter monaco uh... antidevalascaz and dog eyesport see i got to remember
- 11:27[SPEAKER_11]: and out in the parking lot, cliff only.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_11]: Um, so.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_11]: Anyway, that debate's going on Glenn Currier.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_11]: I'm Glenn Currier.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_11]: You'll be hosting six o'clock that night.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_11]: And you don't want to miss it.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_11]: A good time will be had by all.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_11]: And so it's the Italian American Civic Association.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_11]: I'm Bellu Avenue.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_11]: So, bottom's up.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_11]: You can get cocktails there.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_11]: That's, you know, I don't want to sit through who wants to sit through a hole debate without a cocktail.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_11]: Really, when you think about it.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_11]: Um, I don't know if they have any food that is any is a free food that night.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_11]: Man, we could pack the place if we said free food, but I don't think there is free food.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_11]: 755, 1240, the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of show is today.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_11]: Let's see what else we got going on.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody said, what about Trump kicking New Yorkers off food stamps?
- 12:18[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know if that's true.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_11]: You know, there's all sorts of stories that the left is pointing out.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_11]: You just see that argument between the Hiking Jeffries and Congressman Lawler.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_11]: This is, this is out of hand.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_11]: These people are idiots.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_11]: All of them.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_11]: So, and Schumer yesterday, see that video he did or he drops an F bomb in it?
- 12:40[SPEAKER_11]: That's been me through, sent a, year age talking like that.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, my God, what's wrong with these people?
- 12:49[SPEAKER_11]: He's an example for nobody at this point.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I just don't go, of course, a young people talk that way now, yeah.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_11]: They talk that way.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_11]: I got a text from somebody who was a teacher, I was wearing black the other night in solidarity.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_11]: I don't care what you would do when.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_11]: Nobody's mad at teachers, nobody's down on teachers.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_11]: some parents were upset about the, what's called penis art or something, being taught to students in an art class.
- 13:15[SPEAKER_11]: So I don't know why the top brass over there can't handle it.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_11]: That's a simple situation to me.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_11]: You take a look at it.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_11]: Talk to the department head, whatever thing that whoever runs part and then called the teacher and say, this is inappropriate.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_11]: You get to run your curriculum by so and so from now on.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_11]: We're going to put a letter in the file, but it's not going to happen to you.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_11]: And I'll apologize on behalf of the districts that you don't have to.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_11]: That's all you really got to do.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_11]: But it's never that simple.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_11]: It's always like made into a big union thing.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_11]: And that guy that union had, I don't know, I don't know, is that his...
- 14:00[SPEAKER_11]: Steve's brother, I think it, but he's out there saying, well, he's, it were not warriors like I wasn't referring to me.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_11]: I know who the person is who promoted that whole issue, but so what?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_11]: There were people upset about it.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_11]: It happened.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, it was like the, when the kid got the stuffing beat out of her, it happened.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_11]: It's not made up, but there's a big, we got to keep it secret.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_11]: We got to get legal involved.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_11]: That's all it got legal.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_11]: We got to
- 14:28[SPEAKER_11]: And everything else, and this school superintendent doesn't have to worry about anything.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, don't pimp.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, the top people on the school board are all related to principles and teachers.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_11]: No, no, it's all.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_11]: It's all taken care of.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_11]: Don't worry.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_11]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_11]: So there you go.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_11]: Well, what about peace in the Middle East?
- 14:50[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_11]: I believe when I see it, but certainly as a good thing you see the possibility of these hostages get out of there and an end of the shooting.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_11]: There are people who are the vested interest in continuing the nonsense and they aren't going to go away.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_11]: The haters and so on, the left in this country, they had a soundmights and all of that.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_11]: They're not going to go away, but hopefully,
- 15:15[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I'd like to see countries like Saudi Arabia to get Bucco cash, get in there and, you know, buy some heavy equipment, start clear in the debris and start, you know, doing something there.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_11]: That's choice, front edge on the Mediterranean.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_11]: And you should be able to do so.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_11]: You know, there's 2.2 million people living in that little, that's a little piece of land.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_11]: If you go from Alex Bay to Chamole, and draw a little wrecked angle, that's the size of Gaza.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, and there's 2.2 million people.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_11]: Imagine 2.2 million people living between Alex Bay and Shivol.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, it'd be crazy.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_11]: They'd be on top of each other.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, let's see.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, the Yankees lost five to two last nights of the chase, losing that divisional series three games to it won.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_11]: And then, and then, Alex Rodriguez goes on,
- 16:17[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, doesn't somebody anybody walk the plank anymore?
- 16:22[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know what Aaron Boone has on the top management there, but boy, they don't, they don't want to touch him.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_11]: Anyway, they lost, we'll see how the jays do.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_11]: Uh-huh.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_11]: Who we rooting for the Tigers and Seattle play a deciding game tonight, who are we rooting for there?
- 16:39[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_11]: And then over in the National League, Philly's, uh, I guess, beat, uh,
- 16:46[SPEAKER_11]: the Dodgers are up to games to one and the other one I think I think the brewers are up to one over the cubbies not sure you can correct me on that if I'm wrong but all of it leads towards the league championships next week and then finally the world series there's a lot of prelude now to anything like that already already let's see let's check that news
- 17:15[SPEAKER_11]: changing the form of government uh... that still run in seventy four point one percent yes it's funny how these candidates they say i'm an anybody talk about that uh... we're talking about i don't know maybe they're anticipating doing that you know they have
- 17:40[SPEAKER_11]: haven't got any candidate.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I don't know.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_11]: There's no contract.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_11]: I don't believe in these contracts for these city managers anyway.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_11]: Ron Forbes never had one.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_11]: Pass a resolution setting missile.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, that's all you got to do in the amount of vacation.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_11]: All that is is it does two things.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_11]: It makes administrators feel more important.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_11]: And it also gives them a fat severance thing.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_11]: Now that really prevents them from ever effectively being fired because I like that official
- 18:10[SPEAKER_11]: face attacks, but it's after that.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_11]: So, uh, but it happens all the time in the school district.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_11]: So, yeah, just just leave it the way it is.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_11]: What the voters decide next year and uh, all of that just.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, seven, five, five, 12, 40 are for a number.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_11]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of show yesterday, President Trump is holding a cabinet meeting right now.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_11]: It's on TV.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_11]: They show those on TV.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think Biden ever held them, and they work too, um,
- 18:40[SPEAKER_11]: I think didn't Mrs. Biden have to hold preside over them towards the end.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_11]: I think she did.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_11]: That happens.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_11]: Let's see.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_11]: Anything else that we've got going on?
- 18:56[SPEAKER_11]: No, we've talked about gray.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_11]: We talked about the car crash, talked about the hostages, talked about the weather.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_11]: It's going to be nice this week, talked about the jays, talked about that, talked about the debate.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, that poll, the local people, everybody I call yesterday, that they have a poll out that shows that the local and stifonic are tight after the mom-domy endorsement.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know what the mom-domy race does to anything else.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_11]: And what you're going to see quickly though, and this is what you want to watch, veteran political observers that you are.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_11]: As soon as at least a final account is for governor, then that takes the bugaboo off other people who have, you know, up until now people like Scott Gray and others have had to say, well, there's no vacancy in the 21st district, so it's pointless to spark related all of that.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_11]: But once that, once there is a vacancy pending, then you'll see the candidates out.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_11]: And whether it's Senator Dan Stack, I think Constantine,
- 20:03[SPEAKER_11]: And who else is their old Scott Gray?
- 20:06[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know if that were a Kawasaki from one night of town.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_11]: The problem in that district, like any, like the 24th where we live, is the candidates come from a little bubble on the edge of the district.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_11]: Like gray comes from, he'll be registered to vote and Harris found a Harris bill or something.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_11]: Diana, where his cottage is, and then
- 20:26[SPEAKER_11]: and you got stackless over in your Queensberry on the Far Eastern side of the district and Constantine, I was in a little blip on the southern side of Amsterdam area, so yeah, it's going to be tough for anyone candidate to get the consensus, but if there's a primary, it'll be interesting and we'll, of course, talk about it right here on the show of shows.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_11]: Even though I understand water town is not in the 21st congressional district, and just like I understand New York City is 300 miles from water town, but we'll still talk about it.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_11]: the Chattering class.

- 25:25[SPEAKER_11]: All right, how many of you think Senator Chuck Schumer is done?
- 25:31[SPEAKER_11]: He should be get out and retire or whatever.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_11]: The president was just on from his cabinet meeting saying that he thinks he'll retire.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I know I get the finger pointing and they're going to take food stamps away, and they're going to do this, and they're going to kill your grandmother or something like that.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_11]: Democrats refused to provide the 60 votes needed in the Senate for a culture vote so that the continuing resolution could pass the continuing resolution would continue the government as it was and you got to remember as it was was a budget proposed and enacted by Joe Biden but was the Biden budget.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_11]: But Democrats want to pick a fight over this health insurance thing or something.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_11]: There's a, I think a Washington Post piece is something saying the, uh, the whole affordable care act was not really affordable.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_11]: The Washington Post.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, not Washington type of post.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_11]: So I mean, it's, uh, clearly a truck Schumer.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_11]: Here's how much he can do.
- 26:40[SPEAKER_11]: I mean,
- 26:41[SPEAKER_11]: He's scared.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, the fact that he had to go on and do a video yesterday, acting like some kind of, I mean, it looked foolish, Senator.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_11]: And I voted for you in 98.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_11]: I, you know, but good God.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_11]: It looks silly.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_11]: It really looks silly.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_11]: There's something about a 79-year-old man, just publicly going, and look, if you stub your toe and you say something explicit, that's one of them.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_11]: But for a 79-year-old man, to go on and use a word that if I set it on the air, I'd be fired.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, fired.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_11]: That's just, and unintentionally set it in that sense.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_11]: That was a scripted thing.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_11]: If I did that, be gone.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_11]: If Jeff colded it, gone, John Moore, gone, and Senator Schumer goes out and uses that word.
- 27:40[SPEAKER_11]: to provide exclamation to a sense.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_11]: I think it's sad whether we scare the VOC taking a seat is seat.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, I don't know.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_11]: The Democrats establishment wants to give the seat to another guy where we're supposed to have on that time, but he's stiffness.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_11]: And I don't know what's going to happen.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_11]: Anyway, 755, 1240, the phone number, if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show today, there's talk of furloughs at drama.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know if there's anybody who knows anything more about it, give us a call.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_11]: You've got to see impacts on different things as time goes on.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_11]: What is it being accomplished by this?
- 28:24[SPEAKER_11]: Nothing.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_11]: If the Democrats want to pay health insurance for my grins or whatever they want to do, here's what you do, a scheme and shock.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_11]: When in
- 28:38[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, and that's how you do it.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_11]: 755, 1240, or phone number, if it'd like to be on the air, and, well, did anybody drive by and see the vehicle that had driven through the side of that building on Arsenal, it's a prominent building in town.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_11]: It's not, you know, just something out of the ordinary.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_11]: It's right there in a main, a busy street at nine in the morning.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_11]: did you see it happened anybody see it anybody out there at the time among the huge hotline audience i don't know that must have been something scary for the individuals are right medical episode i guess and uh... we don't like to see that but uh... it happens in the just in god nobody else was hurt
- 29:35[SPEAKER_11]: Nobody saw it.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_11]: You see the pictures on channel 7 at noon?
- 29:38[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that's good.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_11]: I think they're going to have a story about a homeless man today at 6 o'clock or 5 o'clock, John told me.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_11]: Yesterday, I saw a whole, it was a really sad scene.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_11]: On factory street in an open lot next to Sherwin Williams.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_11]: Look at an army cop.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody laying through it under laying out under covers and kind of a cold day and a dog lying on the cot too.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_11]: Apparently the guy's been on the open for a couple of months now.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_11]: Doesn't know what he's going to do.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know what these people do.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_11]: You would think with all of the money that spent on the welfare department.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, did some CPS worker get headbudded.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody texted me yesterday about that.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_11]: I hadn't heard that.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_11]: They asked me what I thought of it.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_11]: I said, well, I'm against that happening.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_11]: But he's, that's something.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_11]: That's something.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_11]: Text message.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody said back in the early 60s, that building was Dunlop tires.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_11]: I know it was spurring furniture store at one time.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_11]: It was something else at another time.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody said there's
- 30:57[SPEAKER_11]: No fool, like an old fool, I assume, that referring to Senator Schumer, Oregon.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_11]: Somebody texted him, does the Pearl Street Pub sell marijuana?
- 31:11[SPEAKER_11]: Why would I say that on the air for you?
- 31:14[SPEAKER_11]: That kind of stuff you do on the down row.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, on the down row.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_11]: I wouldn't even know where to get it.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_11]: probably buy it up.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_11]: You know, there's like 41 pot shops in the reservation up there.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_11]: You can probably just go up there and buy a bunch in bulk and bring it down.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, put it little jars or whatever they do.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_11]: Sell them open a store front and you're on your way on your way.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_11]: 7, 5, 5, 12, 40 the phone number if you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today.

- 33:03[SPEAKER_11]: It's something, um, Jefferson County woman accused of injuring a CPS worker.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, I didn't know that.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_11]: Um, hmm.

- 34:18[SPEAKER_17]: the same deal as she went to her house.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_17]: She had the wrong house.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_17]: And she told the guy, what the guy do?
- 34:24[SPEAKER_17]: He almost put her in an early grave.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_17]: Absolutely.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_17]: I think he broke her back or something.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_13]: Wow.
- 34:31[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 34:32[UNKNOWN]: She had the wrong house.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_17]: So I don't know why this guy went nuts on her.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_17]: But you're going to a house.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_17]: You do them with welfare people.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_17]: All right.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_17]: They're not the best people in the world.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_17]: You don't know what the hell they capable of.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_17]: I don't know why they're sending a woman to the check on these child abuse charges by themselves, it's a big mistake.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_17]: You have to send a guard with her or another gentleman with her.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_17]: You know what I mean, Mayor?
- 34:58[SPEAKER_11]: That's a good idea to send two.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_17]: It's time to do with a people like this, to get a free ride on the government.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it's a good idea to send two people anyway, just to have a witness.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, I shouldn't have happened.
- 35:08[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah, she's in bad shape, but I understand.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_11]: Really?
- 35:13[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 35:14[UNKNOWN]: I see him on the news.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_11]: True man.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know if he's on 10 or 7 or 9.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 35:19[SPEAKER_11]: Well, that's too bad.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_17]: One of the things you see they did us, they're checking on data out of the state of Ohio car crashes, man.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, I know.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I'm marijuana.
- 35:30[UNKNOWN]: 42%.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_17]: People that cause car crashes are smoking weed.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_15]: Hmm?
- 35:37[SPEAKER_17]: Yeah.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_16]: That's what I'm talking about.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_16]: You smoking a boner and getting into with 35,000 pounds of pound car and driving it.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_11]: Go tell me the effects you're judgment.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_11]: Well, yeah, but that's good.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_11]: I'm talking about 42% of people are panheads.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_11]: I know, but... He has sent a shooting up grade schools.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_16]: They're all panheads.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_16]: The guy that shot Charlie Kirk worked at a bot shop.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_16]: It's not the same weed as so back in the 70s.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_16]: Very powerful.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_11]: Well, a lot of people are just assume, and that, you know, the laws are not drinking and driving, that it's okay.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_11]: I don't think the cops arrest too many people for that, because there's no real means of measuring it.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_11]: And the other thing is, unlike if you have an open container and you're sipping a beer behind the wheel, they see you, they'll pull you over.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_11]: You're spoken to do me, there's no consequence.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_16]: There's a homeless guy across the road for Moomer.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_16]: All you have to do is go up to our civil street.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_16]: That's only has to do.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_16]: You can't help people that don't want to be helped.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_16]: How many times you're going to say the same thing?
- 36:59[SPEAKER_16]: You got these nut-proper spending over back was given out free needles, clean needles, the drug addicts.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_16]: It makes no sense.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, I know.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_11]: It's amazing, isn't it?
- 37:14[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah, and I'm in the nut from this area.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_16]: Another big problem here.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_16]: 150 people.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_16]: I got 150 people out of my street alone.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_16]: And a guy arrested the other day on my street.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_16]: for breaking into somebody's house.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_15]: Wow.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_16]: Come on, with these people.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_11]: Wow.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_16]: You can't help them.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_16]: My opinion.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_16]: Get in the hell out of this county.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_11]: Who is the guy on your street?
- 37:43[SPEAKER_16]: Who's the homeless guy?
- 37:45[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I'm old, was he?
- 37:47[SPEAKER_16]: I'm here in a short 30, early late 20.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_16]: A lot of these are young people.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_16]: I've got young women.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_16]: With the backpacks at the point school up and young woman, she tried to call her mom, cost my yard the other day.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_15]: Wow.
- 38:03[UNKNOWN]: Somebody's a very polite dish, people.
- 38:05[UNKNOWN]: We've been doing that.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 38:07[UNKNOWN]: Other people give me a hard time.
- 38:09[UNKNOWN]: Don't give me a hard time.
- 38:10[UNKNOWN]: When you're on my property.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, what would you do to her?
- 38:15[UNKNOWN]: Well, I'm subject to that.
- 38:16[UNKNOWN]: They want to push it.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_11]: Gotcha.
- 38:19[UNKNOWN]: You know, I'm not going to move for it, Mayor.
- 38:20[UNKNOWN]: Let's put it that way.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_11]: Uh-huh.

- 44:49[SPEAKER_11]: You know, watching these, it's great.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_11]: We will watch these cabinet meetings, but the level of secrecy that goes on after me is, even a bit much for some of us to watch.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_11]: But in any event, you do get some tidbits out of them.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_11]: Good afternoon, Ronnier.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_20]: You know, in my mind, I wanted to bring up an issue.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_20]: I was thinking about it, maybe I'm a little off on this thought, but the things like people that go down and get social services, they think to be a different class of people that people want to look at because they go down and get their services and check and boost them to stop.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_20]: But what's the difference of them going down?
- 45:35[SPEAKER_20]: get something that's free and then you've got the government here that's always taken for granted.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_14]: I mean they're in the same category or they're out trying to get money money money from grants, but they've looked at those people like they're users of the government ones that are there also.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_11]: Well that's an interesting perspective and I think you're on to something there.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_11]: I appreciate it very much.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_11]: I appreciate it, you're on to something there, I think you've got a point.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah, I just wanted to point it out.
- 46:08[SPEAKER_20]: You know what I mean?
- 46:10[SPEAKER_20]: And let's not put everybody in this thing class.
- 46:13[SPEAKER_20]: They are struggling moms.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_11]: Right, I got you.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_20]: Yeah.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_20]: All right, thank you.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_11]: Bye now.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_11]: Good afternoon, Ronnier.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, Jeff.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_19]: I had a comment about the square.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_11]: Sure.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_19]: You haven't been talking about it today, but I'm 66.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_19]: I remember in 82, or somewhere right around there, they re-did this square, and they read on it two times since then, revitalize it.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_19]: All right, great idea, it's a wonderful idea, and it would work.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_19]: Why does water town continually shoot themselves in the foot, every bit of public housing
- 47:01[SPEAKER_19]: a half mile of a square, which wasn't bad back in the 70s, 80s, 90s, even early 2000s when it was the majority of the people that were in like Clinton or awe, is it?
- 47:17[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, the apartments were the nunnery used to be on West Maine.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_19]: those used to be back in the day, mostly older people that lived in there.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_13]: Right.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_19]: Um, all the towers, they put the other one on the square.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_19]: That was going to be older people.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_19]: It's right on the square.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_19]: You're not going to get tourists on the square when you've got men wandering around, preaching to the air,
- 47:57[SPEAKER_19]: And just generally misbehaving.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_19]: I mean, the squares never have been a great place.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_19]: There's always been peanut part yet, kind of a shady group that hung there in the 70s, 80s, 90s.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_19]: And but they didn't really cause that much trouble and they were there at night.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_19]: I just, it baffles me.
- 48:15[SPEAKER_19]: We always shoot ourselves in the, look.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_15]: Mm-hmm.
- 48:19[SPEAKER_19]: Um, perfect example.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_19]: I don't know, I hope you weren't related,
- 48:26[SPEAKER_19]: I read the parking lot at what we're building or built the day we did it they did a terrible job they were paid for it they came in the next year they rebuilt it and got paid for it again and just on the street from you at the time we hired them to the bridge on
- 48:53[SPEAKER_19]: we're going to put in a military bridge and that'll and then we'll let this other one set for ten years and probably be ten times as much as it was right the time when it was too much to pay for in the first place there remember that I don't understand water town they do they have good ideas but as soon as they implement they probably shoot themselves in the pot or they don't think it through I don't know if you're you're
- 49:23[SPEAKER_11]: I know I know I know we've all made mistakes and I admit to my share, but you're really some interesting points there.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_11]: I mean the public housing thing it comes down to the available many cases the property that you can get, the property you can get and the funds that are available to do something because they're not going to get done otherwise.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_11]: So
- 49:48[SPEAKER_11]: You know, it's not all bad, and some of those projects are not that bad, really.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_19]: Well, I'm saying the idea behind what they were doing was a lot of the stuff is wonderful.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_19]: And at the time when they were doing a lot of it, but they're continually doing it.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_19]: Now they're building one.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_11]: Right on May 9th.
- 50:09[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_19]: You're a tourist.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_19]: We've got the one I'm not even going to talk about the one I'll run.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_19]: May 9th.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_19]: That's a law zone, anyways.
- 50:18[SPEAKER_19]: But across from the post office, now you've got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, high-end tourist motels.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_13]: Right.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_19]: In that area.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_19]: And what do you put right in the middle?
- 50:32[SPEAKER_19]: What do you think some people that almost motels are thinking?
- 50:37[SPEAKER_19]: They've invested all this money to draw people in.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_19]: And now you're going to put a bunch of maniacs just living down the street from them and you know as well as I do it's going to start out nice and then it's going to go out now going to tank yeah it's just reality of it that's common sense you can you know people can all it's everything's good and sweet and that's all right I got you but it ain't got you okay well I gotta run I gotta call but I appreciate your input all right thank you
- 51:11[SPEAKER_08]: Good afternoon, Jeff, you were asked an earlier if anybody had driven by that.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_08]: Excellent scene there in our small street.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_11]: Yes, sir.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I didn't even know anything about it and I happened to find myself at that intersection going around at around 11.30 this morning.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_08]: And saw the scene, but it was a beautiful day out.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_08]: And I had to window down.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_08]: And the slumber shining in and then as I'm driving by, the area there got the smell of marijuana.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_08]: not saying that had anything to do it all with the accident there, but it's just another indication of how pervasive the smell of marijuana is all over the area.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_08]: And I just wanted to share that up soon.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_11]: Well, all right.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_11]: I can tell you some stories, but I won't.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_11]: Well, thank you.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_11]: All right.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_11]: I know.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it is pretty prevalent.
- 52:02[SPEAKER_11]: And for obvious reasons,
- 52:08[SPEAKER_11]: Anyway, um, let's take a break.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_11]: We'll be right back.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_26]: Get into it, and you'll be amazed what you get out of it.

- 52:27[SPEAKER_00]: As a husband and father of two, I want the city to be where a young family's choose to raise their children.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_00]: I believe city council needs to take significant action to prevent rising budget deficits and crippling tax rate increases.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_00]: As a licensed electrical engineer and a member of the Hydro Committee, I'd like to lead Council's efforts preparing for one of our Hydro-electric contract ends in 2030 to mitigate the potential $5 million budget shortfall.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_00]: I hope to help return City Council to being a functional proactive board who works together to solve the long-term issues of the Fick University.

- 57:09[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know what's left.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_11]: I didn't see one of them yesterday.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_11]: Um, I have a cat already.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_11]: So I don't need another one.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_11]: I don't want to be a cat person.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_11]: One is enough.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_11]: Uh, that's it.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_11]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_18]: Hey, don't say.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_11]: You're right.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_11]: What's up?
- 57:26[SPEAKER_18]: So not much.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_18]: I, uh, just wanted to call on responses.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_18]: Some of the, some of the things that people say about marijuana.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_18]: it's got some very good, you know, things for medical purposes, I mean.
- 57:41[SPEAKER_11]: Well, it's not why people use it.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_11]: Fentanol has good reasons for medical purposes, but that doesn't mean it's good in all applications.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_11]: I don't want to hear the, you know, for people with pain management.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_11]: I get it.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, if you're talking to the people who run the, the cannabis store out there, they say most of their customers are older or middle-aged looking for pain management, you know,
- 58:07[SPEAKER_11]: But the debate going on right now is not about that.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_18]: Well, what's it?
- 58:12[SPEAKER_18]: Okay, well, let's have a debate about alcohol.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_11]: Well, go ahead.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it's bad for you.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_18]: I can't.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_18]: I see no call.
- 58:19[SPEAKER_18]: No, keep ol' behind that.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_18]: It's just a very violent throughout the years.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_18]: I haven't drink it over 20 years.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_14]: Good.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_18]: I'll tell you right now.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_18]: Marijuana does not make people violent.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_18]: Alcohol does, though.
- 58:32[SPEAKER_13]: Mm-hmm.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_11]: Well, not every case and not every case of marijuana, but I mean, some people, there are psychosis that are linked to marijuana.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_11]: Listen, I mean, general letter G. I mean, the psychosis is linked to marijuana.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_18]: Are we talking about stuff that's waste?
- 58:47[SPEAKER_18]: Because I've never had a psychosis from marijuana.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_11]: Really?
- 58:50[SPEAKER_18]: Well, I don't know.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_18]: I can remember.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_18]: Well, I... Can you explain some kind of psychosis from marijuana?
- 59:00[SPEAKER_11]: Not in 30 seconds, no.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, like because I don't know.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, I don't have never heard of that.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_11]: How long have you been smoking yet?
- 59:09[SPEAKER_18]: Oh, I've been smoking marijuana since I was like 17, but I don't smoke cigarettes and I don't drink alcohol.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_11]: Well, good for you.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_18]: So, and I just choose to marijuana because it does help with pain.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_18]: There's a lot of things that it helps with not just with pain.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_18]: It helps with, you know, emotional stuff that helps with, you know, PTSD.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_18]: It's proven fact that it's helping.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_11]: Well, listen, I got to run.
- 59:34[SPEAKER_11]: It may help with a lot of things, but I haven't got time now.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_11]: Thanks a lot for calling.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_11]: Okay.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_11]: That's our show of shows for today.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_11]: And it's been a pleasure talking to you.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_11]: And we'll do it again tomorrow.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_11]: Glenn Curry is in at five o'clock today with the, you guessed it.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_11]: The live at five show right here on a community broadcast of station.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_11]: We are AM 1240 WATN Watertown, New York.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_11]: The time on a clock CBS News is next to a good day.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_11]: Drive carefully.
