- YLN Alaska Senate master v1: The Trump administration is defending a lawsuit that preemptively challenges next week's Senate election in Alaska. Did he tell them that wasn't your question? No, that he didn't say it on camera. He said he told them to do that. I said I will not talk ever about no, that wasn't your question, I said. I said I what your question was to me is did he tell me? And I said to you, I will not talk about communications I have with the president of the United States. I haven't ever and I won't ever. But I will tell you this this is the Department of Justice doing our own research under the law, the civil rights unit in the Department of Justice, drafting this lawsuit, and then ultimately we filed the lawsuit. So that was C B S then. Here is CBS now. Good evening. Great to have you with us. We begin with that bombshell new report alleging that Democrats launched a scheme to confuse voters in a race that could determine the balance of power in Washington. It's that Senate race in Alaska where Democrat Mary Peltola is running against a Republican incumbent Dan Sullivan. But there's a second Dan Sullivan on the ballot. And now the New York Times is reporting Peltola's campaign was behind an effort. To recruit that other Dan Sullivan as a spoiler and that the candidate herself was aware. So why the huge change of heart with CBS? Why do they go from attacking the Attorney General to now saying, my goodness, look at this huge scandal in Alaska? Well, I'm gonna tell you why. Welcome to your Leonation, where we believe in and support the rule of law. I am the Chief Mark Garrett. I am going to get into the article from one of their own, the New York Times, that has made the scandal absolutely undeniable, even for the rest of the mainstream media. If you like the content that you get here, stop right now, hit that subscribe button, like, and share. So let's get right into the crux of this New York Times article from yesterday. So stick with me, folks. I pulled out a few very important points from this article. It's much, much, much, much longer than I'm going to share with you. But for those of you who don't have time to read it, I'm going to share it with you and give my take on it. So, according to the Times, in the summer of 2025, a staffer from Mary Peltola, the Alaskan Democrat, who was eyeing a run for Senate, received Unusual instructions from top campaign officials. Find as many people named Dan Sullivan in Alaska as you can. The staffer complied, combing through voter records to produce a list of Dan Sullivan's from across the state. This was no random request. Dan S. Sullivan is the name of the state's Republican senator. And if the Peltola campaign or its allies could track down and persuade another Dan Sullivan to run for Senate, The confusion could cost the Senator crucial votes on the state's unusual four person ballot. The plan worked. This spring, a retired teacher from a tiny fishing village along the Alaska panhandle, reachable only by air and sea, announced his candidacy for Senate. His name was Dan J. Sullivan. The endeavor, which was internally called the Ballot Composition Project. Involved secret trips to far-flung Alaskan communities and the appearance of a mysterious Midwestern operative who traversed the state using a fake name and made his pitch to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs. Why would you use a fake name if what you're doing is legal, ethical, on the up and up? It's because what this guy was doing wasn't. Any of those. It also involved the Peltola campaign's lawyers, this is very important, as well as senior aides at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, which directs the party's campaign strategy in Senate races across the country. From Washington to Anchorage, those advisors participated in regular conversations about the effort and even considered forming a new political party. To draw conservatives on to the ballot. Remember, we have lawyers involved according to the New York Times, as well as Democrat officials, which include elected officials we'll talk about here near the end. Quote, Alaskan voters need to know, said Alyssa Rios, Miss Piltola's former campaign manager and longtime aide, who was fired amid a staff shakeup in August. And agreed to a series of interviews with the Times since then. There was a lot of speculation, and voters should get the full picture when making their decisions. Miss Peltola was not directly involved in the project, Ms. Rio said, but she was definitely aware. The operation began in the summer of 2025 to lure potential spoiler candidates onto the state's unusual four-person ballot, Ms. Rio said. In one early meeting, she said AIDS with the DSCC, that's the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, we talked about a minute ago, introduced a veteran Democratic operative named Jarrett Kurtz to Miss Frios and Anton McParland, who at the time was Miss Peltola's chief of staff. Mr. Kurtz, a native of Ohio, was introduced as a specialist and secret ballot maneuvers. I don't even know what that means. You're a specialist in secret ballot maneuvers? You talk about covert secret age and stuff. Miss Rio said, months later, in early 2026, Mr. Kurtz participated in a video call with members of the ballot composition team. Remember, folks, this includes lawyers and those DSC members and their staffs. He told the group. He had made contact with one of the Dan Sullivan's. This Mr. Sullivan lived in the tiny village of Petersburg, and Mr. Kurtz described him as amenable to running if it would help Miss Peltola, Miss Rios said. And here's the last short paragraph I'm going to share with you. Mr. Colts told us when he found him, she said. He said Mr. Sullivan said he hated Trump, and if it was going to help Mary, Trump. He liked Mary. He didn't have any interest in being a politician. But if this could help, that's a quote. Does this sound like improper to you? We're gonna link this article to the website so you can read it in its entirety. I really encourage you to do so. But hearing what I just read to you, what do you think some of the possible issues here are legally? Let me give you my thoughts here. Let's just start with this. How about a group of people conspiring to deprive United States citizens from fair and free elections? How about lying to investigators? How about perjury? Why do I bring these things up, especially lying to investigators and perjury? Because remember how much CBS and the mainstream media was laughing at the Trump administration, the DOJ? When they filed this initial lawsuit about a week ago or so. Remember that? The DOJ clearly had more information then than we do even today through this New York Times article. They knew exactly what they were dealing with. They were deep into this. They had probably already questioned people, maybe under oath or federal investigators asking questions, and they already know when they've been lied to and by whom. And this includes possibly some elected officials, lawyers for the Democrat campaign, and maybe even a certain candidate. We don't know. But my guess is the federal government knows they have multiple cases violating federal law at this time. And I would be surprised if grand jury subpoenas haven't gone out or not going out very soon. I think this is gonna grow, grow, grow. Let me finish with this. This comes down to one more example of the Democrat machine. The Democrat machine. I'm talking about campaigns, the party, the DNC, so forth and so on. It's a culture. And that culture is the C word. Cheating. It is another example. As I've said before on this show. For a long time after the twenty twenty election, I did not use the word cheat. That has changed for me in the last year or so because the evidence to me is now overwhelming. Let me refresh your memory as I often do. Let's start. First, the Democrat Party as a whole is adamantly opposed to voter ID. They don't mind if an ID is required to board a plane. But they hate it if an ID is required to vote. I wonder why. In New Jersey, just recently was uncovered that almost 7,000 non US citizens were on the state's voter rolls. I wonder how that happened. In twenty twenty, it was recently revealed that three hundred fifteen thousand uncertified ballots were counted on the The vast majority of which went to Joe Biden in Fulton County. And now we see a senatorial election campaign conspiring to defraud people in Alaska by encouraging them to vote for the wrong candidate. This is not one example. This is a pattern of behavior and a behavior of cheating. It's as simple as that. I want to get your thoughts and I really want to know what you think is gonna happen criminally in this case. For your elimination, I am the Chief Mark Garrett. We will see you next time.
