- 1:41Speaker 4: It's a podcast call twenty five Whistle.
- 1:45Speaker 3: Twenty Hello, thank you everybody. Uh let's start because.
- 1:51Speaker 1: We did not come on on Tuesday. This is later
- 1:53Speaker 1: in the week episode. Uh New York cases here we
- 1:56Speaker 1: should talk about the Jets. Yeah, they were playing the
- 1:59Speaker 1: forty nine ers. It already was not you don't want
- 2:02Speaker 1: to play the forty nine ers a week one. They're
- 2:04Speaker 1: not only good team, they're really good idea. But the
- 2:05Speaker 1: McCaffrey all of a sudden is out. Shout out to
- 2:07Speaker 1: all the fantasy owners that had them, because you didn't
- 2:09Speaker 1: even know, no, and you probably didn't have his handcuff
- 2:12Speaker 1: and our league. I have his handcuff because I knew
- 2:14Speaker 1: he was hurt, so I just stashed him.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Do you have McCaffrey too, No, Oh smart, I just
- 2:18Speaker 2: tole his handcuffs, so smart.
- 2:20Speaker 1: So fantasy owners just screwed unless you went and were
- 2:24Speaker 1: able to pick up his backup real quick. So but
- 2:27Speaker 1: the forty downders still look good. The Jets still looked.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I'll let you talk about it. That's your team. How
- 2:30Speaker 1: do you feel after the game. Yeah, we've had a
- 2:31Speaker 1: couple of days now to live it out.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I've had some time to process. I watched the
- 2:36Speaker 4: game with my dad. He came and visited here.
- 2:38Speaker 1: In person, in person family, like, let's get together, pops,
- 2:43Speaker 1: let's watch this.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Yet so it's just the same. I mean, it's just
- 2:47Speaker 5: the same shit. I don't know, but I'll say this,
- 2:50Speaker 5: I cannot curse that.
- 2:51Speaker 3: You can't. You can if you really feel like you
- 2:53Speaker 3: need to.
- 2:54Speaker 4: I mean, the New Yorker comes out of me when
- 2:56Speaker 4: I this.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Is what I say.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Yeah, it sucked out play the forty nine Ers because
- 3:03Speaker 1: you're probably gonna lose anyway, right, traveled all the way
- 3:05Speaker 1: across the country playing one of the top three teams
- 3:08Speaker 1: in the NFL.
- 3:09Speaker 3: That's true Week one Rogers first game.
- 3:12Speaker 1: There's just a lot of factors that probably weren't going
- 3:14Speaker 1: to end up in a victory.
- 3:15Speaker 3: I can understand. Like, but the defense you're awful.
- 3:20Speaker 4: I mean, I'm just so tired of Sala and I'm
- 3:22Speaker 4: just like, I mean, the defensive switch tees, Like you said,
- 3:24Speaker 4: McCaffrey's out, This guy Mason looks like the second coming
- 3:27Speaker 4: on McCaffrey even better.
- 3:28Speaker 5: At times.
- 3:30Speaker 4: The passing attack was just horrible. I feel like Sauce
- 3:33Speaker 4: was like letting up on tackles. He wasn't really get
- 3:38Speaker 4: ahead thing because he like I think he like rammed
- 3:40Speaker 4: into the shoulder of Debo in one play and I
- 3:42Speaker 4: think that's what tripped him up. But it was just
- 3:46Speaker 4: like and then just the same stuff with Sala just
- 3:48Speaker 4: you know, word vomit.
- 3:49Speaker 3: I love this because I've had this with Arkansas.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Just he loves company he feels me, Like I can
- 3:55Speaker 1: tell by how he says words. He's still so upset
- 3:58Speaker 1: by it, just like I I want to kill everyone, everyone, everyone,
- 4:04Speaker 1: just period everyone after the arkansal Cloms State game.
- 4:06Speaker 6: Yeah, but but New York never had that game. Really,
- 4:08Speaker 6: what do you mean, like the Jets never? No, I know,
- 4:10Speaker 6: it's not about the single game. It's about the life
- 4:12Speaker 6: we've led, the hype and the hope, and he's got
- 4:16Speaker 6: Aaron Rodgers and we were up in the first half,
- 4:18Speaker 6: and so like when he speaks, the tone, the passion,
- 4:22Speaker 6: the sadness, the deflation, like I feel it unlike anything else.
- 4:26Speaker 5: It was rough.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean Rogers looked pretty good. I mean that's
- 4:29Speaker 4: like the one positive out of this, right.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:33Speaker 4: There was some mistakes, but no mobility. No mobility expected, right,
- 4:37Speaker 4: I didn't expect it. I guess that's that's the thing.
- 4:40Speaker 3: But I don't know if he'll have it. I'm sure
- 4:42Speaker 3: possibly he'll have more mobility.
- 4:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:44Speaker 3: He only threw like to one side of the field.
- 4:47Speaker 6: Though, the left side right, which was a bit left,
- 4:49Speaker 6: which was a bit weird. I noticed that because that's
- 4:51Speaker 6: what I do in Madden, you know, like I always
- 4:53Speaker 6: throw it at one side.
- 4:54Speaker 3: So I noticed it, that's true.
- 4:57Speaker 8: I thought you're reading the defense.
- 4:58Speaker 5: No, no, no chance.
- 5:00Speaker 1: In NBA two K always dribbles the left sticks of
- 5:03Speaker 1: left handed even though my player is not.
- 5:06Speaker 3: I do that too.
- 5:07Speaker 1: But did you notice because I didn't really notice until afterward,
- 5:10Speaker 1: and they showed a pass chart that almost all of
- 5:12Speaker 1: his passes were to the left.
- 5:13Speaker 4: I mean he was barely on the field too, because
- 5:15Speaker 4: what the forty nine ers scored on eighth straight drives,
- 5:17Speaker 4: which is like some kind of record from nineteen twenty seven.
- 5:20Speaker 5: The possession time was crazy.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Well, the fumble too early.
- 5:23Speaker 5: The fumble by breast was bad. Yeah, okay, so.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I don't want to listen that happened last week.
- 5:27Speaker 1: We just did not give Casey a chance to have
- 5:29Speaker 1: pain in his heart.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I needed to hear it.
- 5:32Speaker 5: Yeah, okay.
- 5:33Speaker 3: I needed to not feel alone.
- 5:34Speaker 8: He gave in his Jets jersey the other day.
- 5:38Speaker 3: He was in a Jet jersey.
- 5:39Speaker 5: You never gonna do that again ever.
- 5:42Speaker 4: So, but you have a few winnable games. Now, you
- 5:45Speaker 4: have like three winnable games in a row. So I
- 5:47Speaker 4: mean we should win the next three. But honestly, I'm
- 5:49Speaker 4: scared about that Patriots game Thursday, night right.
- 5:51Speaker 7: It should be.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Yeah, so is it this week? Well?
- 5:53Speaker 8: This next week?
- 5:54Speaker 5: Week? Week three?
- 5:55Speaker 7: Is that?
- 5:55Speaker 3: So it's Titans, Jets, pay Kings.
- 5:59Speaker 5: And then Broncos.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Broncos is week four okay, and then they play the
- 6:02Speaker 4: Biking they play Vikings in London five I think it
- 6:05Speaker 4: is five.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Yeah, there's some winnable games there.
- 6:08Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll see.
- 6:09Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, we should definitely take care of business
- 6:11Speaker 4: this week. Otherwise then we're then we're in some serious trouble.
- 6:14Speaker 1: There is New York Casey, I like that actually comes
- 6:17Speaker 1: out New York were you and your dad?
- 6:19Speaker 4: Just my dad is like, I mean he's a psycho,
- 6:23Speaker 4: like we're diehard Yankee fans toill. I mean he's like,
- 6:25Speaker 4: swing the good, you know, like that's the kind of
- 6:28Speaker 4: like atmosphere I grew up in. So when you know,
- 6:31Speaker 4: you know, the defense is letting up all these pasts,
- 6:33Speaker 4: He's like, where there's the surf?
- 6:38Speaker 3: What what's your expectation this week?
- 6:40Speaker 4: I'm expecting the w But I'm going to that game
- 6:43Speaker 4: with him. He's still here, so, uh, you should here.
- 6:47Speaker 3: I should get the Titans.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean we should.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I mean, we'll love us is playing good?
- 6:51Speaker 1: You should beat the Titans. Okay, well, let's let's get
- 6:54Speaker 1: over to the Tittletown. Are you ready, Kevin, Yeah, let's
- 6:56Speaker 1: do it.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 7:05Speaker 8: In honor of the great James Earl Jones passing away
- 7:08Speaker 8: this week. Who is your biggest sports villain growing up?
- 7:11Speaker 3: Oh? Because he was a villain. He was Darth Vader.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, sports villain. I was so college football. It's
- 7:17Speaker 1: tough because they rotated and out, so there really aren't many.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Forever Phil Falmer, because Arkansas Tennessee would play every year,
- 7:24Speaker 1: they were a constant. When SEC East and West would play,
- 7:27Speaker 1: we were sc West, so it was always Tennessee. But
- 7:30Speaker 1: it was Phil Falmer that was consistently the Tennessee coach.
- 7:35Speaker 3: But Team Martin when he.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Was a quarterback for Tennessee was tough for longer periods
- 7:39Speaker 1: of time. Tony LaRussa, Ozzie Smith, even Jim Edmonds because
- 7:47Speaker 1: I hated the Cardinals as a Cubs fan, of hated
- 7:50Speaker 1: the Cardinals as an Arkansas fan. We just we played
- 7:52Speaker 1: Tennessee every year, so we hated Tennessee, and I was
- 7:56Speaker 1: a little bit behind the Arkansas Texas, like I remember now,
- 8:00Speaker 1: we hate Texas and Arkansas just in general. Because they're
- 8:02Speaker 1: bigger than us, they have more money than us. There,
- 8:04Speaker 1: it's every reason that you hate your big brother, right,
- 8:07Speaker 1: that you have like a rivalry. So we were born
- 8:12Speaker 1: to dislike Texas because we have an inferiority complex. But
- 8:16Speaker 1: I really didn't get to experience a lot of the
- 8:17Speaker 1: Texas rivalry because that was Southwest Conference. I was very,
- 8:21Speaker 1: very very little. I got to experience a lot of
- 8:22Speaker 1: the Tennessee. I mean we lost in ninety eight. We
- 8:24Speaker 1: fumbled the ball. We were gonna go to the national championship.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Have we not fumbled ball in the last drive. That
- 8:28Speaker 1: was Tennessee who beat us is terrible. So that those
- 8:31Speaker 1: would be my two Falmer who I later met and
- 8:33Speaker 1: was super nice on.
- 8:35Speaker 5: A golf course. Usually they're nice.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Hecause they're humans.
- 8:37Speaker 7: They're actually.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And Larissa the Cardinals, any of those guys, they were tough, Eddie,
- 8:44Speaker 1: but yours would probably be a cowboy, like a forty
- 8:46Speaker 1: nine er, right, I.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Mean I don't Steve Young kind of was that dude
- 8:51Speaker 2: to me.
- 8:52Speaker 5: And again we met him. He was nice, but like
- 8:55Speaker 5: as a kid, I hated Steve Young.
- 8:57Speaker 3: So as a jet then it's got to be brave.
- 9:00Speaker 4: And I would say Artinez is probably the number one.
- 9:03Speaker 4: They got into that brawl and he threw Zimmer by
- 9:05Speaker 4: the head like.
- 9:07Speaker 3: One hundred years old. He took him a while, So
- 9:12Speaker 3: Tom Brady and I mean that, but you guys.
- 9:16Speaker 8: Own quote unquote right, Remember he called you guys his daddy. Yeah,
- 9:20Speaker 8: I'll never forget when he said, though, what are you doing?
- 9:23Speaker 2: So?
- 9:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean those those are the top two that
- 9:25Speaker 5: come to mind.
- 9:25Speaker 8: So with you then being a Boston guy, it was
- 9:28Speaker 8: probably Peyton Manning was number one growing up, him and
- 9:31Speaker 8: Brady the battles, and then he owned Peyton for a
- 9:33Speaker 8: while and then Peyton got him, so then I really
- 9:35Speaker 8: hated Peyton. That's back and forth. And then Alex Rodriguez
- 9:38Speaker 8: is number one by far.
- 9:39Speaker 5: On his own level him in far attack. Yes, he's
- 9:42Speaker 5: a huge villainy.
- 9:43Speaker 8: It's for everybody, even like I don't like sports.
- 9:48Speaker 1: He's done a great job at like building his career
- 9:50Speaker 1: back though to not be the douce that.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Yeah, if you're a sports fan, it's hard for him
- 9:55Speaker 3: to shake the douchst But like to people.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Like, like, it's weird seeing him up there with Ortiz
- 10:00Speaker 4: was like pregames.
- 10:01Speaker 5: Even when he talks still you're still he is.
- 10:03Speaker 3: But again, I think we have the preduche.
- 10:05Speaker 1: We knew he was a duche, but when he was
- 10:07Speaker 1: saying like j Loo and stuff like, but I think
- 10:09Speaker 1: people started to kind of like him that didn't have
- 10:11Speaker 1: didn't know like his history in sports.
- 10:13Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's tough for me to look at him and
- 10:15Speaker 1: be like, that's a guy I want to hang out,
- 10:16Speaker 1: not at all.
- 10:17Speaker 3: All right, next one, All right.
- 10:18Speaker 8: Which one loss team do you still think has the
- 10:20Speaker 8: best chance to make the playoff in college football?
- 10:22Speaker 3: Are we basing it off?
- 10:23Speaker 1: Like because Notre Dame lost the Northern Illinois. If it's
- 10:28Speaker 1: close and there are other ones, the Notre Dame will
- 10:30Speaker 1: not get in in a tie. Now with that loss
- 10:32Speaker 1: to that school, it's not like a loss to a
- 10:35Speaker 1: Big ten school or an SC school, even a Big
- 10:38Speaker 1: twelve that's a bad loss. So that's a bad one loss.
- 10:41Speaker 1: That's basically two losses. I would count that as two
- 10:44Speaker 1: losses to an SEC school. So it's gonna be tough
- 10:47Speaker 1: for them. They're gonna have to have some things fall
- 10:49Speaker 1: right for them. And they also cannot get one.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Of the top four seeds period.
- 10:54Speaker 1: They can't go one, two, three, or four because those
- 10:56Speaker 1: are for the conference champions of the major conferences sec ACC,
- 11:01Speaker 1: Big ten, Big twelve, so they would have to be
- 11:04Speaker 1: a five through twelve. One of them is going to
- 11:07Speaker 1: be a non powerful now I guess power four now
- 11:11Speaker 1: non powerful.
- 11:12Speaker 3: It's gonna be tough for Notre Dame. That loss to
- 11:15Speaker 3: that school.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Had they lost the week earlier, it had been a
- 11:17Speaker 1: lot easier because every loss is an equal so.
- 11:20Speaker 8: That A and M.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah, had they lost to A and M, which they didn't,
- 11:23Speaker 1: that'd be a lot easier. To have another loss to
- 11:26Speaker 1: a big school and have two big that one loss
- 11:28Speaker 1: to that small school at home, that's that's gonna be
- 11:31Speaker 1: very hard for them. Michigan. I just don't think they're good.
- 11:36Speaker 1: So they have the loss and Texas ran a hole
- 11:38Speaker 1: in them. But I don't think that it's because of
- 11:42Speaker 1: that one loss, because that's a quality loss. Just who
- 11:44Speaker 1: you lost to at home and bad. But at least
- 11:47Speaker 1: it's Texas who's good this year. But I just don't
- 11:51Speaker 1: think they're good. Clemson, probably because they lost to Georgia.
- 11:56Speaker 1: They got manhandled. But you have to also remember one
- 11:59Speaker 1: it's it's weak one. They're gonna get a little bit
- 12:01Speaker 1: of credit for time, time and distance from the game.
- 12:04Speaker 3: It was Georgia.
- 12:05Speaker 1: If you're gonna get man handled, it probably needs to
- 12:06Speaker 1: be about Georgia or Alabama, maybe Texas, maybe Ohio State
- 12:10Speaker 1: like those count those man handlings are forgotten a lot
- 12:14Speaker 1: easier because of how big and strong those schools are.
- 12:17Speaker 1: So if Clemson can win, the problem is are they good?
- 12:21Speaker 3: Right? Like Club Nick? Do you know Clubnick from Austin?
- 12:23Speaker 5: No, he's their quarterback? Yeah, okay, Travis Guyerson Westlake. I
- 12:29Speaker 5: don't know one of those.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I just know it's from Austin and I was like cool, Yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 1: I thought it was cool too. I'm gonna go with
- 12:35Speaker 1: and I saw the odds and the odds aren't as good.
- 12:37Speaker 3: For these schools.
- 12:39Speaker 1: But like an LSU, I think a one loss LSU
- 12:44Speaker 1: has the chance.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Again. But are they losing again or are they winning?
- 12:50Speaker 3: I mean are we? Are we just going look at
- 12:51Speaker 3: their schedule as well? Yeah, I mean tex AM's gonna
- 12:55Speaker 3: make it Texa. Aam's gonna lose.
- 12:56Speaker 8: Okay, So let's say LSU loses again.
- 12:59Speaker 3: So a two loss LSU though, gets in.
- 13:01Speaker 8: Yeah, but a two loss Clemson do they get it?
- 13:03Speaker 3: No?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Okay, because the AECC is not near as strong as
- 13:06Speaker 1: the SEC. So two unless LSU loses to like Middle
- 13:10Speaker 1: Tennessee State, right, because all losses aren't the same. A
- 13:13Speaker 1: two loss LSU gets in.
- 13:14Speaker 8: What about Michigan because the Big Ten is good and
- 13:16Speaker 8: I do think they will lose at least one more.
- 13:19Speaker 1: A two loss in Michigan is in conversation to make
- 13:22Speaker 1: it because again they lost to Texas, but they're gonna
- 13:24Speaker 1: They're gonna play Ohio.
- 13:25Speaker 3: State, they play Oregon, do they play organ So I mean.
- 13:28Speaker 1: If you also beat one of those schools, that counts
- 13:30Speaker 1: as in the plus category.
- 13:32Speaker 3: So, but it's fun.
- 13:33Speaker 1: All these games are gonna matter so much at the
- 13:35Speaker 1: end of the season, which has never happened before. Like,
- 13:37Speaker 1: that's what's exciting to me about college football is that
- 13:39Speaker 1: when it got to week there's not really like NFL
- 13:43Speaker 1: like weeks because they're but the tenth, eleven, twelve games
- 13:47Speaker 1: of the year, you kind of knew who was in
- 13:49Speaker 1: who wasn't. Maybe some teams were jockey for conference championship games.
- 13:54Speaker 1: But there are gonna be a lot of games that
- 13:56Speaker 1: matter later on because of this, And that's what's exciting
- 13:58Speaker 1: to me. We don't get less excited at the NFL
- 14:00Speaker 1: because teams are fighting for playoff spots, no more games matter,
- 14:04Speaker 1: so that's gonna be fun. Yeah, all right, I'm gonna
- 14:06Speaker 1: go officially, though, was my answer. I don't want to
- 14:09Speaker 1: have to go Clemson, but I just don't think they play.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna go Clemson because they don't.
- 14:12Speaker 8: Play anybody easiest road for sure.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm gonna go Clemson, then LSU because LSU
- 14:17Speaker 1: has shown that they can, and they have, especially with
- 14:24Speaker 1: their current regime. They've won, they've they figured it out
- 14:27Speaker 1: in one the second half of the year.
- 14:29Speaker 3: But also we've only play one game. I'm going Clemson
- 14:31Speaker 3: LSU in that order. Thank you.
- 14:31Speaker 8: Next question, Okay, what's New York coach do you think
- 14:33Speaker 8: has a shorter leash? Robert Sala or Brian Dable.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Dude, that's Terrian. It's both teams. That's that's bad news.
- 14:41Speaker 3: It's bad news whichever one. It's like, what the first
- 14:46Speaker 3: one to win gets to keep their job. Of those two,
- 14:47Speaker 3: that's what they should do.
- 14:48Speaker 1: The first one to win keeps their job, though when
- 14:50Speaker 1: automatically it's fired because both of them are probably gone
- 14:53Speaker 1: if if both of these seasons in as disastrous.
- 14:56Speaker 4: I think next next week is huge for both teams
- 14:57Speaker 4: because they should beat the Commanders. I think that's like
- 14:59Speaker 4: Dane Jones's best team that he faces on paper or
- 15:02Speaker 4: something like that.
- 15:03Speaker 5: So if they go on to there.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Well both the Jets and they're both playing a team.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like the first one to win you get
- 15:10Speaker 1: to keep their job. One where you're in the first
- 15:11Speaker 1: one to lose should lose their job immediately because I
- 15:14Speaker 1: think both of guy there's a chance.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Both of them are gone.
- 15:17Speaker 5: Yeah, as GM's by the end of the year.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I think letting Saquon go and also if the Eagles
- 15:23Speaker 1: continue to and Saquon continues to play well and not
- 15:26Speaker 1: be injured, that looks.
- 15:28Speaker 8: Did you see the clip of the GM and the
- 15:30Speaker 8: hard Knocks like offseason things where he was like, if
- 15:32Speaker 8: this ends up hurting us, what do you say like over.
- 15:35Speaker 4: There like saying like if yeah, like you didn't want
- 15:37Speaker 4: Barkley to go, but Shane was like, we We'll just
- 15:39Speaker 4: let him go.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I saw a thing with like coaches with like fifty
- 15:42Speaker 1: games or like Sala's like one of the bottom three
- 15:45Speaker 1: or four, because.
- 15:46Speaker 5: I mean, the fact that he's still employed is like shocking.
- 15:52Speaker 3: But to be fair, with Devil.
- 15:54Speaker 1: He's almost five hundred. Didn't come into a team that
- 15:57Speaker 1: was great. The Giants are just so bad. So if
- 16:01Speaker 1: I had to pick one that's gonna last, it'd probably
- 16:03Speaker 1: be old Baldy. They're both put both bald though.
- 16:05Speaker 5: They're both.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, rounder and bald Yeah probably yeah, Okay, next up?
- 16:12Speaker 8: All right, last one? What do you expect or who
- 16:14Speaker 8: do you expect to have a bigger bounce back in
- 16:16Speaker 8: week two? Kirk Cousins or Aaron Rodgers?
- 16:18Speaker 6: Oh, the Battle of the Achilles. They're not playing each other,
- 16:21Speaker 6: but I'll think about that battle. That's easier. I think
- 16:23Speaker 6: Cousins fixes it. I think he I think Cousins fixes it.
- 16:27Speaker 6: And I think Cousins also plays in a weaker division
- 16:30Speaker 6: or like, I think he has some. But Rogers look
- 16:34Speaker 6: better than Cousins.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Did week one.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Rogers is also further from the injury too. Let's not
- 16:39Speaker 1: forget Rogers got hurt for first plays into last year,
- 16:43Speaker 1: all this time to recover, where Cousins may like still
- 16:47Speaker 1: be feeling it a little bit.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Not that Rogers isn't He's forty years old.
- 16:50Speaker 1: I would think Rogers is able to bounce back quicker,
- 16:53Speaker 1: probably gonna win both. The Falcons have like three tough
- 16:56Speaker 1: games in another playing the Eagles this week, so I
- 16:58Speaker 1: don't think they win that game. I do expect the
- 17:01Speaker 1: Falcons to go nine and eight. That's a perfect Kirk Cousins.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Record, probably win the division.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Yeah, and like being in the mix at the end.
- 17:10Speaker 1: So I think Rogers bounces back faster because he's had
- 17:12Speaker 1: more time to be able to physically bounce back. But
- 17:15Speaker 1: I do expect Cousins to get it. He always gets it,
- 17:18Speaker 1: although he's not had an Achilles injury like this. But
- 17:21Speaker 1: it's as much as I would hate for Casey to
- 17:23Speaker 1: have like a good day if I have a bad day,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I do think Rogers and Rogers looked fine.
- 17:29Speaker 4: He just didn't have an opportunity, right, Yeah, I mean
- 17:31Speaker 4: I think it was also like one of the lowest
- 17:33Speaker 4: times of possession for Aaron Rodgers in his career. That's
- 17:36Speaker 4: how much the forty nine ers were just running the
- 17:38Speaker 4: ball and just eating up clocks.
- 17:40Speaker 3: The passing yards have been so low.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Did you guys see there was like the least amount
- 17:44Speaker 1: of passing yards in a week like two or three
- 17:46Speaker 1: d over three hundred yards. Wow, Like Tuo was the
- 17:49Speaker 1: leader passing leader for the week.
- 17:51Speaker 3: And he looked bad too. That's a two. Ye they struggle. Okay,
- 17:54Speaker 3: that's it. Yep, all right, thank you hit it name.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Then I'm okay, God.
- 18:02Speaker 1: All right, you guys know what we're going here. We're
- 18:03Speaker 1: gonna build the twenty five whistles parlay. I feel pretty
- 18:06Speaker 1: good because we have a bigger canvas. Okay, we have
- 18:10Speaker 1: a larger we have a larger scope.
- 18:11Speaker 5: They pull up my app.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna feel pretty good about this and that I'm
- 18:18Speaker 1: gonna tell you guys to bet this one. Come on
- 18:20Speaker 1: in the room, listen. We always do one, and some
- 18:23Speaker 1: of them I feel more passionate about than others. I
- 18:25Speaker 1: feel pretty good about this one. I'm betting this one
- 18:26Speaker 1: myself for sure, because I strongly read. Hey, nobody's still
- 18:29Speaker 1: locked out. Man, I can't bet. No, you locked yourself out.
- 18:31Speaker 1: You you were like, please take me take me down?
- 18:33Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 18:33Speaker 3: Yeah for sure?
- 18:34Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, uh Georgia minus twenty four at Kentucky, I
- 18:40Speaker 1: get that seems safe. Oh no, if any yells that
- 18:43Speaker 1: seems safe, that is not it. That's that said that allowed? Yes,
- 18:47Speaker 1: Oh no, that's not it. Then Kentucky got just man
- 18:52Speaker 1: handled by South Carolina. They did not see that. It
- 18:55Speaker 1: was never a game. So I'm gonna go, uh, Georgia
- 18:58Speaker 1: minus twenty four at Kentucky. I'm gonna go LSU money
- 19:05Speaker 1: line at South Carolina. It is a touchdown difference there,
- 19:07Speaker 1: but I don't trust them to cover. I do trust them.
- 19:10Speaker 1: That feels safe to pick them to win, I think LSU.
- 19:13Speaker 1: So I'm going LSU money line of South Carolina Georgia
- 19:16Speaker 1: minus twenty four at Kentucky. I mean, am I gonna
- 19:19Speaker 1: do it? Am I gonna do it again? Because what
- 19:21Speaker 1: feels safe is Oregon. It's Oregon minus sixteen and a
- 19:24Speaker 1: half at Oregon State.
- 19:25Speaker 3: It's a rivalry game.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Rivalry game, they're usually closer, but it's like they have
- 19:30Speaker 1: not They just.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Have to turn into the organ that they have the
- 19:34Speaker 3: ability to be.
- 19:36Speaker 5: If this helps, I don't like it.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Thank god.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Oregon minus states that's where we're going. Okay, so we're
- 19:45Speaker 1: going Georgia minus twenty four a Kentucky, Oregon minus sixteen
- 19:49Speaker 1: and a half at Oregon State, and LSU money line
- 19:52Speaker 1: at South Carolina. That's gonna be our DraftKings twenty five
- 19:57Speaker 1: whistles parlay. It should be up there in one of
- 19:59Speaker 1: the boxes. If no, you can just put it all yourself.

- 20:57Speaker 1: Take I don't think the Panthers are the worst team
- 21:01Speaker 1: in the NFL. I don't think the pants really, they're
- 21:05Speaker 1: not going to be good. Their offensive line is terrible,
- 21:08Speaker 1: and I felt terrible for Bright.
- 21:09Speaker 5: I just I saw his first pass was picked off.
- 21:12Speaker 3: I didn't see that Young. It's tough.
- 21:13Speaker 7: It's tough.
- 21:14Speaker 1: I look at Kyler Murray to be so small and
- 21:16Speaker 1: Bryce Young. I don't think Bryce Young is the smallest
- 21:18Speaker 1: Kyler height wise, he's taller. Like when Kyler runs, it's funny,
- 21:22Speaker 1: it looks like a toddler put on pads, and it's like.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Mostly too because he's running next to gigantic men. Sure
- 21:27Speaker 3: like if he was with us, he'd look like like.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Written no, well no more bigger but not as tall.
- 21:32Speaker 5: I mean we're taller than him, right.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Yeah, but still he's like he's strong.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Like I remember the first time I met Eli Manning,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I was like, John's a monster thick.
- 21:44Speaker 3: He's probably six three or four. I mean he's just
- 21:46Speaker 3: and on TV, Eli Manning looks.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Like he's next to humongous lineman Mike, will you pull
- 21:52Speaker 1: you like uh age sex location.
- 21:57Speaker 3: He's got to be six three, right or more six five? Wow,
- 22:01Speaker 3: he's a monster.
- 22:02Speaker 1: So I'm sure Kyler would look like extremely ripped up
- 22:05Speaker 1: next to us.
- 22:06Speaker 3: But here we go. The question is which.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Team is more likely to be winless when they face
- 22:12Speaker 1: off in Week ten. The Panthers are the Giants because
- 22:14Speaker 1: they're gonna.
- 22:14Speaker 5: Play each other.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Hm.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Will that even be a not Bowl meaning nobody's won
- 22:20Speaker 1: a game. I do think the Panthers can win a
- 22:22Speaker 1: couple of games.
- 22:23Speaker 5: So here we go.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Panthers schedule, and I won't spend a lot of Panther talking,
- 22:27Speaker 1: but I just wanted to be like, you know, give
- 22:29Speaker 1: me some milkcot.
- 22:30Speaker 3: They have the Chargers.
- 22:32Speaker 5: They're not gonna win that.
- 22:35Speaker 3: The Chargers are fine, Okay, they're gonna play.
- 22:38Speaker 1: They're going to Vegas. I think they can play with
- 22:40Speaker 1: the Raiders. And I'm not gonna say I think they'll
- 22:42Speaker 1: beat because I don't think they'll beat for sure anybody.
- 22:44Speaker 1: But these are the games I think they can be in.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I think they can be in the Chargers game. I
- 22:47Speaker 1: think they could be in the Raiders game. The Bengals
- 22:50Speaker 1: are gonna run them. Although what was Joe Burrow doing?
- 22:52Speaker 3: Is he hurt his hand like you pick up a
- 22:55Speaker 3: water bottle? Correct?
- 22:57Speaker 5: Is this like a shot on the sideline?
- 22:58Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 22:59Speaker 3: Yeah, he was like running it.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Oh, man and maybe tomorrow when this comes out. We're
- 23:03Speaker 1: recording this day before. They'll beat information. They're playing the Bears.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I think they can play with the Bears.
- 23:09Speaker 3: The Bears defense man. Yeah, they're playing the Falcons.
- 23:12Speaker 1: The Falcons will probably two, three, four, week seven, probably
- 23:16Speaker 1: have their way with them.
- 23:17Speaker 3: The Commanders, Broncos. Possibly. I think they can play with
- 23:20Speaker 3: the Broncos. The Saints.
- 23:22Speaker 1: They gonna play the Saints again, but everything went exactly
- 23:25Speaker 1: right for the Saints. I think they play with the Saints,
- 23:27Speaker 1: and I think they can beat the Giants. I think
- 23:29Speaker 1: the Panthers co win four games. Okay overall, Wow, I
- 23:33Speaker 1: think they And I think the initial that was four
- 23:36Speaker 1: and a half over under and I was like, oh,
- 23:38Speaker 1: it'll be way over. But after watching that game, I
- 23:39Speaker 1: don't think it's why over anymore. But I do think
- 23:41Speaker 1: they can win some games. The Giants. They're playing the Commanders.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Can they win that? Can can they?
- 23:46Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 23:46Speaker 1: Yeah, they're playing the brown Oh yeah they can win
- 23:49Speaker 1: that one. Well, the Browns are playing only with ten
- 23:51Speaker 1: minute offense. Yeah, so that's they're playing with the Cowboys.
- 23:55Speaker 5: They're not gonna win that one.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Lose that.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Seahawks will lose that Bengals will lose, that, Eagles will
- 23:58Speaker 1: lose that, Steelers will probably lose that.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Wow, I see what you're saying in what maybe the
- 24:03Speaker 2: Panthers have an easier road to get there.
- 24:05Speaker 3: I don't think the Panthers are the worst team in
- 24:07Speaker 3: the NFL. Or I don't think they'll lose the most
- 24:10Speaker 3: games in the NFL. If you watch week on, it
- 24:12Speaker 3: was bad and it also just got out of hand.
- 24:15Speaker 1: They're not good. They don't have the personnel to be good.
- 24:16Speaker 1: I felt bad for them. The offensive line is not good.
- 24:18Speaker 1: They have the personnel.
- 24:19Speaker 8: So new coach.
- 24:22Speaker 1: And do you even want the number one You don't
- 24:23Speaker 1: even need the number one pick if you have a
- 24:24Speaker 1: quarterback unless you're gonna draft another quarterback.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Like if you're the Panthers, do you draft on the quarterback?
- 24:28Speaker 8: If it was like Caleb Williams come out, I think
- 24:29Speaker 8: they would, but it's not.
- 24:30Speaker 3: The number one pick is probably gonna be the Georgia kid.
- 24:32Speaker 5: Yeah, Carson Beck.
- 24:35Speaker 8: So you want to say maybe a receiver or alignment
- 24:38Speaker 8: or something, right, So probably alignment.
- 24:40Speaker 3: For give me some milk.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Panthers gonna win four, three or four? You know what
- 24:44Speaker 1: five games this season?
- 24:48Speaker 3: Take I take everybody takes it take. Eddie talked to
- 24:53Speaker 3: me about the illegal formation.
- 24:56Speaker 5: I don't know if someone please explain it to me.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I don't understand why they're there are twenty five flags
- 25:01Speaker 2: in one week over some dumb illegal formation.
- 25:04Speaker 3: So there are a few.
- 25:05Speaker 1: So the new rule, are you talking about defense or
- 25:08Speaker 1: if the defense moves quickly they call that?
- 25:10Speaker 3: Are you talking about like the motion when.
- 25:12Speaker 2: They call I think it's the offensive line where like
- 25:15Speaker 2: they have one finger over the line, it's illegal formation.
- 25:19Speaker 1: So I've seen a few different versions of the new
- 25:21Speaker 1: illegal formation. Which one are you talking about?
- 25:23Speaker 5: You're talking about the offensive line stuff.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Ravens the Jets, So you're talking about one game that
- 25:28Speaker 3: one game?
- 25:29Speaker 4: No, no, no, because it happened all week too. I think
- 25:30Speaker 4: the Jets game had happened too.
- 25:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 25:32Speaker 6: I didn't even see where he was. And here's what
- 25:34Speaker 6: confuses me is like they throw the flag all right,
- 25:36Speaker 6: oh my gosh, does a false start? No illegal formation?
- 25:39Speaker 6: And then they show the coach and the coach is
- 25:40Speaker 6: like okay, and then they do it again the next play.
- 25:43Speaker 6: I'm like, what don't you guys understand?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Well, there were a few different legal formations that they
- 25:48Speaker 1: are they're cracking down on, especially early. Sometimes they let
- 25:51Speaker 1: off a little mid to late season, but they just
- 25:52Speaker 1: kind of re established.
- 25:53Speaker 3: We will call a lot of this.
- 25:55Speaker 1: One of them magic and like Canadian football or arena football,
- 25:59Speaker 1: the most you can have any motion forward at all.
- 26:01Speaker 1: And you would see Miami last year in Tyreek cheat
- 26:04Speaker 1: that a little bit like going across and it's not
- 26:06Speaker 1: that he would turn forward, but he would definitely start
- 26:08Speaker 1: angling the direction that wasn't right a sideline. So I
- 26:11Speaker 1: saw that called a couple of times. Also, there is
- 26:15Speaker 1: a mandate now the defensive line can't draw the offensive
- 26:18Speaker 1: line if they cross the neutral zone offense like a
- 26:21Speaker 1: move right, and then it's on the defense. But they
- 26:24Speaker 1: the claps. They're cracking down on anybody making any noise.
- 26:28Speaker 1: It even resembles a clap because a quarterbacks claping a
- 26:31Speaker 1: lot of times with a silent count just a clap.
- 26:34Speaker 1: So now they'll call if the offense screws with the
- 26:37Speaker 1: defense or the defense screws with the offense.
- 26:39Speaker 3: They're calling both of those versions.
- 26:40Speaker 5: We're never going to play football. It's crazy, okay.
- 26:45Speaker 1: But and then the one you guys were talking about,
- 26:47Speaker 1: where the offense if they're not lined up exactly.
- 26:49Speaker 3: But that one won't last.
- 26:50Speaker 5: It's literally one finger.
- 26:51Speaker 3: No I think that.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I don't think that one lasts hopefully like that because
- 26:54Speaker 1: it's but defensively, they're not going you have to stay
- 26:59Speaker 1: by behind the ball.
- 27:00Speaker 3: Why would you the offense not to stay behind the ball.
- 27:02Speaker 6: No, I get it, I get but but I mean
- 27:04Speaker 6: it's it's such a The line is thick, you know.
- 27:06Speaker 5: It's like you look at the line. The line is
- 27:08Speaker 5: what line?
- 27:08Speaker 3: You know? That's not a real line, right, the black line?
- 27:10Speaker 5: No?
- 27:10Speaker 6: No, no, no talking about the actual yard line. Okay,
- 27:14Speaker 6: the yard line is like, you know, four inches thick.
- 27:17Speaker 6: And when you have the camera angle looking right down
- 27:20Speaker 6: the line, they're trying to explain to you what the
- 27:21Speaker 6: illegal formation was. They're still on the line which is
- 27:25Speaker 6: four inches thick. They're just ahead of everyone else.
- 27:27Speaker 3: It's just you can't be ahead of everybody else.
- 27:29Speaker 5: You should.
- 27:29Speaker 3: It's like almost because I'll go let me go back
- 27:31Speaker 3: to my prolific high school fotball days.
- 27:34Speaker 1: On kickoff team. You can' out run the kicker. You
- 27:37Speaker 1: can when the kicker you can't even be you can't
- 27:39Speaker 1: even really be running exactly with the kicker because there
- 27:41Speaker 1: is a chance that you will be in front of
- 27:43Speaker 1: the kicker and that's all sides before he kicks the ball. Yes, yeah,
- 27:46Speaker 1: so you have to stay a half step behind the kicker.
- 27:49Speaker 1: And what they're doing is just making sure the offensive
- 27:51Speaker 1: line stays a third of a hand back from the ball?
- 27:55Speaker 2: Is it also too week one? Like we've got to
- 27:57Speaker 2: be the cops that just call everything.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Absolutely because any sort of thing.
- 28:01Speaker 1: They have meetings about summer meetings. I guess NFL because
- 28:05Speaker 1: baseball be winter meetings.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Yeah, any sort of.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Hey, we really need to reinforce this rule. They come
- 28:12Speaker 1: out hard at the beginning of the year.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Then it slows a bit.
- 28:17Speaker 1: One because people now know they're watching for it. Coaches
- 28:19Speaker 1: can say, hey, but two, they want to be able
- 28:22Speaker 1: to call it the rest of the year in case
- 28:23Speaker 1: they need to call it, but they don't always continue
- 28:25Speaker 1: to call it at the same level.
- 28:26Speaker 6: Yeah, this is the five mile over the speed limit thing,
- 28:28Speaker 6: Like they're having a meeting right now, guys, let's not
- 28:30Speaker 6: write tickets for five miles over the speed limit.
- 28:32Speaker 5: We're done with this.
- 28:33Speaker 3: I think they're still calling it.
- 28:34Speaker 1: They're going to call tickets for five miles over for
- 28:37Speaker 1: the next three weeks.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Yeah, to make a.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Point of this matters to us. We're going to make
- 28:43Speaker 1: sure people don't do it.
- 28:44Speaker 5: Thanks for the explanation, because I had no idea.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Well, no even my explanation, because there are like four
- 28:48Speaker 1: versions of this, are the offense, draw the defense, the
- 28:50Speaker 1: defense because they'll call if the defense.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Moves but not across the line.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Even in college now, if there's like a jerk motion
- 28:59Speaker 1: that doesn't across, they'll call, yeah, like an illegal formation,
- 29:03Speaker 1: off side type thing.
- 29:04Speaker 6: And I will say to another thing I caught with
- 29:07Speaker 6: And we may have talked about this a little bit
- 29:08Speaker 6: last year, but Josh Allen, he's not getting any rough
- 29:11Speaker 6: in the passer calls, like just because of who he is,
- 29:13Speaker 6: right man, they can nail him.
- 29:15Speaker 5: They could hit him hard, and they won't.
- 29:17Speaker 6: Even think about calling the rough in the passer mahomes
- 29:20Speaker 6: As soon as he gets tapped, it's a call.
- 29:22Speaker 1: So are you saying only when he's in the pocket, Yeah,
- 29:24Speaker 1: she can h him as hard as you want. When
- 29:25Speaker 1: he's like diving and running through people, like, none of
- 29:27Speaker 1: that matters.
- 29:28Speaker 6: I just think in general in general, and I think
- 29:30Speaker 6: he tries to call, hey, you look look what they
- 29:33Speaker 6: just did here. But they don't even think about it
- 29:34Speaker 6: because Josh Allen he's tough.
- 29:35Speaker 8: Yeah, he got mad, really mad at one you're talking
- 29:38Speaker 8: about behind me. I think he got sacked maybe or
- 29:40Speaker 8: something like that. But yeah, I know what you're talking about.
- 29:42Speaker 1: That's probably a human nature where if a guy is
- 29:44Speaker 1: extremely physical, whenever you watch him constantly be extremely physical, purposefully,
- 29:50Speaker 1: over and over and over, and then he takes a
- 29:53Speaker 1: little more physicality to actually call the same thing. I'm
- 29:57Speaker 1: just sure that's ref human nature.
- 29:58Speaker 8: Same with Kyler a little bit though, because there's Kyler
- 30:02Speaker 8: so much.
- 30:02Speaker 3: But like Brady, you like blue on him, you get flag. Yeah,
- 30:06Speaker 3: because he didn't. He doesn't run.
- 30:07Speaker 1: There's there was nothing physical about his game, right, Well,
- 30:10Speaker 1: don't you think it's more of a human nature thing
- 30:12Speaker 1: than some sort of conspiracy theory.
- 30:13Speaker 5: It is, No, it is, but it's not right.
- 30:14Speaker 3: No, No, I know, I know.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I'm asking the question, like I don't feel like the
- 30:17Speaker 1: refs are going in my mind, they're going, Okay, we're
- 30:19Speaker 1: really not going to give Josh Allen the benefit of
- 30:21Speaker 1: the doubt.
- 30:21Speaker 3: I think when you watch him run through people so.
- 30:24Speaker 1: Many times when he gets hit, it's not as big
- 30:26Speaker 1: as it's not as big of a deal because he's
- 30:28Speaker 1: been getting he delivers the hit, so the whole game,
- 30:31Speaker 1: you're like, he's a big boy.
- 30:32Speaker 6: He's and to your point of they need to be
- 30:35Speaker 6: healthy to make the game entertaining, he will be He'll
- 30:38Speaker 6: be healthy. Like they can hit him hard, he'll be fine.
- 30:40Speaker 6: He'll get right up. Mahomes not so much. Yeah, Kirk
- 30:44Speaker 6: Cousins not so much.
- 30:45Speaker 3: But like Ben Roethlisberger was always hurt, but he was
- 30:47Speaker 3: always taking a shot. Was a diva. He's just a mess.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Huh yeah.
- 30:52Speaker 8: Yeah, But then it'll go in the opposite way where
- 30:55Speaker 8: if he runs and then he kind of gives himself
- 30:58Speaker 8: up and then he keeps running and then people get
- 31:00Speaker 8: pissed because they thought he's gonna go down because he's
- 31:02Speaker 8: a quarter you know I'm saying. So it's gonna be
- 31:03Speaker 8: a little give or take and you're screwed either way.
- 31:05Speaker 1: And they can't do that thing anymore where they fake
- 31:07Speaker 1: slide right, can't you pick it? Run that for everybody?
- 31:10Speaker 1: But he pulled it off.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Awesome, But yeah he did and just kept running.
- 31:14Speaker 6: Hey and also to can we do another segment of
- 31:16Speaker 6: this annoys Eddie in football?
- 31:18Speaker 5: Oh yeah, here we go.
- 31:20Speaker 3: This annoy is Eddie.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes needs to stop with the fingers like it's
- 31:27Speaker 2: it's the first few times or whatever, like, Okay, that's silly.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Flicking his fingers, just one.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Up.
- 31:34Speaker 5: But now it's.
- 31:34Speaker 6: After every play, line up, lane up, line up, and
- 31:37Speaker 6: he's taking on his little fingers.
- 31:38Speaker 5: He's got to stop.
- 31:40Speaker 3: He didn't notice the noise, Eddie. No, I can see
- 31:43Speaker 3: it when you do it.
- 31:44Speaker 1: I can see him do it, but I don't haven't
- 31:45Speaker 1: seen it so much that I'm like, you need to
- 31:46Speaker 1: stop doing bones.
- 31:47Speaker 5: It's every play, dude, it's every play.
- 31:49Speaker 3: And then where do you notice that? Do you guys
- 31:50Speaker 3: notice that?
- 31:53Speaker 9: I can see it.
- 31:53Speaker 3: I can see him doing it, But have you noticed
- 31:56Speaker 3: it so much you've been annoyed by it?
- 31:58Speaker 8: Yeah, but it's because it's the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.
- 32:00Speaker 5: For me that annoys Kevin.
- 32:01Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like the same thing with Steph Curry and
- 32:04Speaker 4: like chewing his mouthpiece. It didn't bother me at first,
- 32:06Speaker 4: but then like after the success and stuff like that,
- 32:08Speaker 4: do put.
- 32:09Speaker 5: Your thing in your mouth? No one wants to see that.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Yeah, do you guys see the Delan Royola? So he's
- 32:17Speaker 1: as a quarterback in Nebraska number fifteen looks just like
- 32:20Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes. Now does everything just like Patrick Mahomes looks
- 32:22Speaker 1: just like har He does the jump, like the warm up,
- 32:26Speaker 1: he plays like him. He's a true freshman.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Look at him.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Yah, stop Kevin, show him, show him. He's awesome. And
- 32:33Speaker 1: Nebraska paid a ton of money. It was a big
- 32:35Speaker 1: story in the off season Nebraska crab out of Colorado.
- 32:39Speaker 3: But I mean, he looks like him.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Mahomes calls a little cousin now because he looks he
- 32:44Speaker 1: does look like Now he's starting to do like the
- 32:46Speaker 1: stuff that Mahomes does.
- 32:47Speaker 5: The sun glasses.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Yeah, And for me, I'm like, it's kind of an
- 32:51Speaker 1: Then I forget he's an eighteen year old kid, and
- 32:53Speaker 1: of course what eighteen year o kay woldn't want to
- 32:55Speaker 1: be exact?
- 32:56Speaker 3: Do cosplay like Patrick Mahomes?
- 32:57Speaker 2: So is he just kind of idolizing him as.
- 33:00Speaker 1: His He kind of looked and played like him anyway,
- 33:03Speaker 1: But it became a bigger thing and now he's just
- 33:06Speaker 1: totally embraced it. But you played college football and it's
- 33:08Speaker 1: like you're not a high school play no, but you're
- 33:09Speaker 1: also eighteen. I mean you have to remember their kids.
- 33:13Speaker 5: Right, he looks just like this, and he's awesome.
- 33:18Speaker 1: He's really And for Nebraska to have like a dynamic
- 33:22Speaker 1: quarterback feels weird because they just haven't been dynamic at all.
- 33:25Speaker 1: But Matt he's going to be. It's gonna be great.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Everywhere he's ever been, yeah, Temple, Baylor, except the Panthers.
- 33:31Speaker 1: He didn't have a good NFL run. But it's also
- 33:33Speaker 1: the freaking Panthers, which we've learned now everybody goes to
- 33:34Speaker 1: the Panthers to die, yes, because their ownership is not consistent, questionable. Yes, Mike,
- 33:42Speaker 1: you want to do a spot or no, Yeah, we'll
- 33:44Speaker 1: go to a spot. All right, we'll be we'll do

- 35:21Speaker 1: Looking at the big games this weekend, Arizona at Kansas State.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Kansas State is a seven point favorite, which is I
- 35:27Speaker 1: was surprised it was seven points. Arizona's won nine in
- 35:30Speaker 1: a row. I think, oh really, Yeah, Arizona has like
- 35:33Speaker 1: the longest win streak.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I think active Kansas State's good, but I was surprised
- 35:39Speaker 3: it was seven points.
- 35:41Speaker 8: You think it's because Arizona hasn't looked like they haven't
- 35:44Speaker 8: done kind of like Oregon, they haven't. I forget who
- 35:46Speaker 8: they played the first two weeks, but nobody dominated and
- 35:48Speaker 8: they're not dominating.
- 35:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Well the first week, remember they had four Yeah, Team
- 35:53Speaker 1: Mac had four touchdowns.
- 35:55Speaker 8: They gave him like forty points.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I was surprised it was seven. Just because it's
- 36:00Speaker 1: two ranked teams. Kansas State's seven point favorite. I would
- 36:02Speaker 1: probably take Arizona plus seven. I had no idea it
- 36:07Speaker 1: is gonna win that game. I just think that's too
- 36:09Speaker 1: many points.
- 36:09Speaker 3: But that's interesting. It's like two schools. We've been to
- 36:11Speaker 3: two schools.
- 36:12Speaker 5: We like no one like.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Maybe that's why I'm not picking anybody to win, as
- 36:15Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm torn between my cousins.
- 36:17Speaker 8: It is the Arizona's longest one streak right now?
- 36:19Speaker 3: Is it?
- 36:20Speaker 8: Nine nine?
- 36:20Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:21Speaker 1: Alabama minus sixteen in Wisconsin? Boston College at number sixth
- 36:26Speaker 1: Missouri and Missouri's is a sixteen and half point favorite,
- 36:28Speaker 1: and Boston College is ranked. It's weird to see Missouri
- 36:31Speaker 1: be respected like this. Not that they shouldn't be because
- 36:34Speaker 1: they have a really good team, but it's weird to
- 36:36Speaker 1: see Missouri respected in football.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Boston College is ranked because they'd beat who recently Florida.
- 36:43Speaker 3: State, Florida State and O'Brien's air coach.
- 36:46Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, Bill obrien.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Missouri's a sixteen and a half point favorite over a
- 36:50Speaker 1: top twenty five team. That's crazy to me as an
- 36:53Speaker 1: SEC fan, because Missouri is always sucked and they're good
- 36:56Speaker 1: now and they have money and they're spending the money
- 37:00Speaker 1: and they're like Luther, they're wide receiver. I mean, it's
- 37:02Speaker 1: hammer t Mac who's the best wide receiver in college football?
- 37:05Speaker 1: We're gonna go to Missouri, yeah, A couple weeks. So
- 37:07Speaker 1: it's super exciting from Missouri fan who has not been
- 37:10Speaker 1: good forever and now you like get to be really good.
- 37:12Speaker 1: We did that far Kaso off for like two years.
- 37:13Speaker 1: It was fine when Barbortrinos our coach. We haven't had
- 37:16Speaker 1: that since. But Oregon, Oregon State, we talked about that.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Ball State at Miami. Miami is a thirty six and
- 37:21Speaker 1: a half point favorite. But I don't know if ball
- 37:24Speaker 1: State's anything, right, I.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Haven't heard of ball State.
- 37:29Speaker 3: You've heard of ball State.
- 37:30Speaker 5: I've heard of the school, but I haven't even watching
- 37:32Speaker 5: the game or anything.
- 37:32Speaker 3: In Indiana like let him be there?
- 37:35Speaker 5: Oh yeah, they've let him in.
- 37:35Speaker 8: Well, I usually watched them those Tuesday Mac Action I think, right,
- 37:39Speaker 8: Maction Yeah, Max Yeah.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Ole miss a twenty three point favorite at wake Forest,
- 37:43Speaker 1: So still really nothing there. Texas only a thirty five
- 37:46Speaker 1: point favorite over UTSA. Now when you think about that,
- 37:49Speaker 1: you're like, man, how theyre not a sixty point favorite?
- 37:50Speaker 3: But UTSA has built a program. But still I think
- 37:54Speaker 3: I would go Texas minus thirty five. I think got
- 37:56Speaker 3: crushed by Texas State.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Yeah, the fact that it's minus thirty five, But Texas
- 38:00Speaker 1: State's not bad but again, you're talking about two different
- 38:04Speaker 1: types of school. But I think I would take Texas
- 38:06Speaker 1: minus thirty five, even though I know the coach at
- 38:08Speaker 1: UTSA Kentucky is getting twenty four points. I would take
- 38:13Speaker 1: Georgia though, to run Like, how about at Georgia beat Clemson.
- 38:15Speaker 8: It was like thirty one to three.
- 38:18Speaker 3: I mean they would have covered Dix. They would have
- 38:20Speaker 3: covered this with Clemson.
- 38:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:21Speaker 1: And then finally Kent State at Tennessee can't state it's terrible.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Tennessee will keep rolling. As far as quarterbacks go, college quarterbacks, kids,
- 38:28Speaker 1: he's a stude.
- 38:29Speaker 5: What's the line on that game?
- 38:30Speaker 3: Forty nine? So that's your college preview.
- 38:35Speaker 1: If we look ahead at the NFL games, just give
- 38:38Speaker 1: me the winner. Bill's a Dolphins that when it would
- 38:41Speaker 1: have happened last night. So we're recording this the game
- 38:43Speaker 1: hasn't happened yet. Pick who won. We don't know, but
- 38:47Speaker 1: pick who won.
- 38:49Speaker 5: Just say the Dolphins won that one.
- 38:50Speaker 1: We will be right or wrong by the time we've
- 38:52Speaker 1: heard because we're doing this before the game. You think
- 38:54Speaker 1: the Dolphins beat the Bills.
- 38:55Speaker 2: The Dolphins beat the Bills. They're in Miami too, right.
- 38:57Speaker 3: Hyeah, Well, the Bills again closels.
- 39:00Speaker 2: As long as everyone drives speed limited of the game.
- 39:04Speaker 3: I think the Bills probably won last night.
- 39:07Speaker 5: Oh yeah, do you think that?
- 39:09Speaker 3: I think the Bills probably one.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I do.
- 39:11Speaker 3: I think that, Casey, Yeah, I think the Bills too.
- 39:14Speaker 5: Maybe Josh Allen rushing touchdown.
- 39:16Speaker 3: Raid who won last night? Going to Man Dolphin too?
- 39:18Speaker 1: Yeah you Kevin, Yeah, I'm gonna go with Dolphins too. Well,
- 39:22Speaker 1: everybody knows who's right who's wrong. But listen, Seahawks of Patriots.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Seahawks are traveling all the way across the country. They're
- 39:29Speaker 1: three and a half point dog. But I mean the Patriots,
- 39:32Speaker 1: I don't, Kevin.
- 39:34Speaker 3: They're not good, right, you know what?
- 39:37Speaker 9: I don't know?
- 39:38Speaker 3: I mean really do you not know? No?
- 39:40Speaker 1: You no?
- 39:41Speaker 8: Like I talked about week one. Their defense is good,
- 39:43Speaker 8: it's their offense. If they do not turn the ball over,
- 39:46Speaker 8: they have a shot. And they didn't do that against Bengals.
- 39:48Speaker 8: If they don't do that again this week against Seahawks,
- 39:50Speaker 8: they'll be fine.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Who wins.
- 39:55Speaker 8: I'm gonna say the Patriots.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Yeah, Seahawks, go ahead, guess say whatever you want.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Settle anybody picking the Patriots say it's a Cowboys cowboy
- 40:05Speaker 1: six and a half point favorite in Dallas. You know
- 40:07Speaker 1: what it is, boy, whenever that happened, you say that
- 40:10Speaker 1: they lose?
- 40:10Speaker 3: What is it's not even be easy?
- 40:13Speaker 1: There were times last year like it's the game is
- 40:15Speaker 1: so easy, and they lost every time you said that.
- 40:17Speaker 5: But what does that even mean?
- 40:18Speaker 3: You know what it is?
- 40:20Speaker 5: Cowboys exactly?
- 40:24Speaker 1: Bucks at Lions, Oh man, I mean the Lions did
- 40:27Speaker 1: not play to the level. I think most folks thought
- 40:30Speaker 1: they would dominate fashing against the Rams, and the Bucks
- 40:32Speaker 1: did play really well.
- 40:34Speaker 5: The Rams are better than we think.
- 40:35Speaker 1: The Rams had five missing players on defense, and even
- 40:38Speaker 1: then they're better than we think.
- 40:40Speaker 6: The Rams had nothing. The Rams were playing with half
- 40:42Speaker 6: their defense, right, and I still think they're good. I
- 40:45Speaker 6: think McVeigh. You just don't mess with that, dude.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I think they are going to be better than they
- 40:49Speaker 3: were last week. But I don't know. I do not
- 40:51Speaker 3: think they were that good. I mean, I think they
- 40:53Speaker 3: struggled because they were playing with the half second team.
- 40:56Speaker 5: I think the Lions win this game.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah, me too. I mean that a lot though, Huh,
- 41:00Speaker 3: it is a line.
- 41:01Speaker 4: I think the Bucks can pull this out just because
- 41:03Speaker 4: they lost to the Lions in the division round and
- 41:06Speaker 4: They almost almost feel like this game means something to.
- 41:09Speaker 3: Them if they do win this game, show up the
- 41:11Speaker 3: Bucks are for real?
- 41:12Speaker 5: Are we thinking that?
- 41:13Speaker 6: Like it's that receiving corps versus the quarterback. You just
- 41:17Speaker 6: plug in the quarterback like Tom Brady, who you talking about?
- 41:20Speaker 6: Like Mike Kevin's just Mike Evans and gout like these
- 41:23Speaker 6: dudes are like awesome.
- 41:25Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 41:26Speaker 5: No, I mean some of the catches that.
- 41:28Speaker 3: I hear you.
- 41:28Speaker 1: But Brady had a year with them, he went five
- 41:30Speaker 1: hundred or so. No, I don't think he just plugged. Yeah,
- 41:33Speaker 1: Brady had a good when he won the super Bowl,
- 41:35Speaker 1: but then the next year he didn't.
- 41:37Speaker 3: I don't think of Bakers can play.
- 41:38Speaker 5: Bakers just had a really really good game.
- 41:40Speaker 8: Oh yeah, they's played well yeah, well the game, oh
- 41:43Speaker 8: yeah last year, last year too towards the end.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Don't we talked to me anymore? But played one hundred
- 41:49Speaker 3: million Bucks?
- 41:50Speaker 5: People?
- 41:51Speaker 1: Whatever, dude, Colts of Packers, I mean the Colts probably
- 41:54Speaker 1: win that gaginst the Packers don't have a quarterback.
- 41:55Speaker 5: Right, yeah, yeah, it's gonna be a mileage with Willis
- 41:58Speaker 5: So I said they're in trouble.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Jets at Titans. Jets are four point favorite on the road.
- 42:04Speaker 1: The Jets win, just want to Yes, I mean the
- 42:06Speaker 1: Titans mining that losing more games than anybody. Will Lewis
- 42:09Speaker 1: looked about a third of what I thought he might
- 42:10Speaker 1: look like, and he might be average.
- 42:12Speaker 4: Yeah, a couple more of those forward shovel passes. That
- 42:14Speaker 4: was right to the cornerback.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Yeah at all, that's gonna be a butt fumble. That's
- 42:17Speaker 3: gonna be the butt full loss.
- 42:18Speaker 8: And how a baud is Malik Willis if he if
- 42:20Speaker 8: he lost that job, I think they are.
- 42:23Speaker 1: I don't think they could have gone back to Malik
- 42:24Speaker 1: though anyway, No, they couldn't have.
- 42:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I just don't.
- 42:28Speaker 1: He was here, passed, a whole new coaching staff comes in.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I just don't think they could have gone back anyway.
- 42:32Speaker 3: But I hear you.
- 42:34Speaker 1: But remember the Mark Sanche's butt fumble. Yeah, you know
- 42:36Speaker 1: it showed up that that Remember that Will Levis pass
- 42:39Speaker 1: was that like that level. It's going to be shown
- 42:41Speaker 1: forever because it was so bad. Forty nine Vikings Niners.
- 42:46Speaker 5: That doesn't matter who they play.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Vikings played well, but Yese Giants at Commanders Commanders a
- 42:52Speaker 1: three point favorite.
- 42:54Speaker 5: Commanders Commander Commanders.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Dude, Chargers at Panthers, Chargers six and a half point
- 42:59Speaker 1: favorite in Caroline.
- 43:00Speaker 3: I'm going Pather. Let's go Panther up.
- 43:02Speaker 5: You know what, why not Let's go Panther.
- 43:04Speaker 3: What did I say?
- 43:05Speaker 5: Eat them up? Rock talk eat him?
- 43:07Speaker 10: I think it's no, it's it's uh, it's pound it pound, Yeah,
- 43:14Speaker 10: because I'm thinking of pound.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Take him to poundtown. Found some sort of pounding.
- 43:22Speaker 5: But they need to change out.
- 43:23Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, okay, so I'll go Panthers, but you guys
- 43:27Speaker 3: are probably smart.
- 43:28Speaker 5: No, man, we'll go Panthers. Why not doing charges?
- 43:30Speaker 1: Browns and Jags, Jack Raiders, Ravens, Ravens, Rams, Cardinals.
- 43:37Speaker 5: Rams and Pooking. The cool is still out right. Yeah,
- 43:41Speaker 5: this is gonna be he and for a while.
- 43:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, although Pookers out, but he did look good,
- 43:50Speaker 3: really good too.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Uh.
- 43:52Speaker 3: I'll go Rams.
- 43:54Speaker 1: I think they're gonna try to get moreban Harrison the
- 43:55Speaker 1: ball a lot more though, because that's all that anybodys
- 43:57Speaker 1: talked about this nothing Steelers of Broncos.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Oh, I'm gonna go Broncos.
- 44:02Speaker 5: Going, I'm gonna go Pittsburgh. Just that defense starting again?
- 44:06Speaker 1: Too?
- 44:06Speaker 3: Oh, teacher, what is what won that game he was.
- 44:09Speaker 3: He was everywhere. It's crazy they were.
- 44:12Speaker 1: There were penalties agains him too, because he'd be so
- 44:13Speaker 1: far for just a flags, be like, well this ain't fair?
- 44:15Speaker 3: Yeah, fairness flag?
- 44:17Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 44:17Speaker 8: Is Russell Wilson dressing out when he's enacted the most
- 44:20Speaker 8: Russell Wilson thing?
- 44:21Speaker 3: So losory. It's solusory. It's so lousive, I know, but
- 44:28Speaker 3: come on, man shaved his head.
- 44:29Speaker 5: He looks good.
- 44:30Speaker 3: I'm taking the Broncos two games, Bengals and Chiefs.
- 44:34Speaker 5: Chiefs, Yeah, I think so too.
- 44:37Speaker 3: This is the kind of game, know that the Bengals
- 44:38Speaker 3: would win.
- 44:39Speaker 5: But what's it just so sketchy? I don't know, I
- 44:42Speaker 5: don't I don't trust him.
- 44:43Speaker 3: Bears it Texans.
- 44:46Speaker 6: Texas, right, yeah, all right, I hadn't think about that.
- 44:49Speaker 6: I forgot Texans are good.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Are there any like team color schemes that you just
- 44:54Speaker 1: hate so you kind of don't like the team purple?
- 44:57Speaker 5: So like Ravens.
- 44:57Speaker 6: I just I just forget about the Ravens. I forget
- 45:00Speaker 6: they even exist whenever look at like who's playing this week?
- 45:02Speaker 6: I don't forget to think about the Ravens.
- 45:03Speaker 3: What about the Vikings are purple? Yeah?
- 45:05Speaker 5: But the Vikings. Yeah, I don't think about them either.
- 45:07Speaker 3: I hate the Jaguars colors. Hm, well is it teal
- 45:11Speaker 3: like I hate?
- 45:13Speaker 1: And I don't hate the Jicks because I like Trevor
- 45:14Speaker 1: Lawrence and I root for the Jock, but I hate
- 45:15Speaker 1: their colors.
- 45:16Speaker 3: It makes me I have to like work extra hard
- 45:18Speaker 3: to root for them. Bones.
- 45:19Speaker 5: Is it because you're colorblind? Can you? Do you know
- 45:22Speaker 5: what color they are?
- 45:23Speaker 3: They look like it looks like a lightish blue or
- 45:25Speaker 3: something like a greeny blue.
- 45:27Speaker 5: That's it.
- 45:27Speaker 1: Yeah, so I am colorblind, and I'm sure I see
- 45:29Speaker 1: it different than you, but I don't like it. And
- 45:31Speaker 1: it could be because I don't see it that well,
- 45:34Speaker 1: but I don't like it. I don't like Jacksonville's colors.
- 45:37Speaker 1: That makes me root against them until I think. When
- 45:40Speaker 1: I think that, I'm like, oh, I like Trevor Lawrence,
- 45:41Speaker 1: I'm rooting for Doug Peterson. But when I don't think
- 45:43Speaker 1: about it, I don't like Jacksonville because I think their
- 45:45Speaker 1: colors are terrible. I don't mind the dolphins because it's
- 45:48Speaker 1: white dominated with a little blue dolphin rather than blue domino.
- 45:53Speaker 3: I also like the yellow in the Jaguars. It's what
- 45:56Speaker 3: the rams or Rams. I don't like theirs either, the ones.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I don't like their colors.
- 46:00Speaker 5: Why don't you like the blue?
- 46:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a blue and yellow helmets make up for it.
- 46:05Speaker 2: They're so cool, right, It's a freaking ram horn.
- 46:08Speaker 5: That's cool, dude.
- 46:08Speaker 3: I think if they made it small like the No,
- 46:11Speaker 3: I don't know. It doesn't to me about the Raiders.
- 46:13Speaker 3: To me, the silver and black is just like, yeah,
- 46:17Speaker 3: I don't like the I don't really like the Raiders.
- 46:19Speaker 3: It's classic, but I don't like it. Is that the color.
- 46:24Speaker 5: Man the Raiders.
- 46:25Speaker 3: I like the helmets.
- 46:28Speaker 1: You know, DJ, my cousin or my brother in law Mexican.
- 46:31Speaker 1: He loves the Raiders, but his dad's from southern California.
- 46:33Speaker 5: Ye, everywhere everywhere, the Texas Mexicans. We love the Cowboy.
- 46:39Speaker 1: I like helmets that are white based, or black based
- 46:43Speaker 1: or red. Otherwise I start to feel like weird about
- 46:46Speaker 1: the colors. And maybe it's because I can't Maybe it's
- 46:48Speaker 1: just because I can't see colors that well.
- 46:49Speaker 3: But I do not like the Jags. I do not
- 46:52Speaker 3: like the Rams color schemes, The blues and the yellow
- 46:55Speaker 3: the worst.
- 46:57Speaker 8: Remember when they had the white ones for that one
- 46:59Speaker 8: year because they were like kind of alternating or switching
- 47:02Speaker 8: white helmets the Rams when they have the white helmets.
- 47:04Speaker 8: I remember that like three or four years ago.
- 47:08Speaker 3: Really yeah, really, do you have any teams you hate
- 47:10Speaker 3: their logo? I just like I don't really like orange
- 47:12Speaker 3: that much, like the browns.
- 47:15Speaker 5: The Browns.
- 47:16Speaker 3: That's ugly, the Browns are.
- 47:17Speaker 1: I don't mind the Browns because they're so plain on purpose.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Like I don't like it, but like I can respect it,
- 47:23Speaker 1: like they have stay consistent.
- 47:24Speaker 3: It's just like a turd.
- 47:26Speaker 9: It does.
- 47:27Speaker 1: It's just like a turd that you ate, like too
- 47:29Speaker 1: much dairy, right, It's like I I can respect it,
- 47:34Speaker 1: but I generally don't like the orange because I just
- 47:35Speaker 1: have bad feelings about Texas and Tennessee.
- 47:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, mine is just I don't like orange easy enough,
- 47:42Speaker 3: burnt orange, man.
- 47:44Speaker 1: And burnt though it's Texas's just Texas. Tennessee's is literally
- 47:49Speaker 1: called Tennessee orange. Where Texas doesn't have Texas orange, they
- 47:52Speaker 1: have burnt orange. Dang, that's cooler, I know.
- 47:55Speaker 3: But you don't have your own you don't own it
- 47:56Speaker 3: on the color spectrum, but no one else has it. Yeah,
- 48:00Speaker 3: but then you should name it, you should call it
- 48:02Speaker 3: Texas Orange.
- 48:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:03Speaker 1: Yeah, Orange is tough only because the teams to beat
- 48:05Speaker 1: me a lot. That's like trauma when a dog gets hit,
- 48:08Speaker 1: a lot of flinches. I see orange, I'm like, oh god,
- 48:09Speaker 1: I'm about to give you a.
- 48:10Speaker 3: Gat that sucks.
- 48:13Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 48:14Speaker 3: How did that come up?
- 48:15Speaker 5: I don't know you brought it up.
- 48:17Speaker 1: I don't like the Raiders of it. I like their logo,
- 48:19Speaker 1: it's the colors. I just want you, oh you don't
- 48:20Speaker 1: like the the raider that sucks er. I used to
- 48:24Speaker 1: hate the old Tampa Bay Buccaneer logo until they went
- 48:27Speaker 1: to New and then I like when they bring the
- 48:28Speaker 1: old school back.
- 48:29Speaker 3: But I hated it as a kid.
- 48:30Speaker 5: What was the old one? It was orange, but the
- 48:32Speaker 5: stort in his mouth? Yeah, ah, the buccaneer.
- 48:34Speaker 3: I hated the old Patriot logo of the guy that
- 48:36Speaker 3: would be on the PAI, the.
- 48:37Speaker 5: Guy that was my favorite, the guy hiking.
- 48:39Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I like it now when it's brought back, but I
- 48:42Speaker 1: hated it as a kid. I hated that logo. I
- 48:44Speaker 1: was like Pete Carroll, Yeah, I thought it was the
- 48:47Speaker 1: Lambis logo ever, But I do like it now, but
- 48:50Speaker 1: I didn't like it then.
- 48:51Speaker 2: The Jets had an old one too, right, like more circular. Yeah,
- 48:54Speaker 2: it almost looked like the forty nine ers.
- 48:55Speaker 4: Yeah, we kind of stayed the same though most so
- 48:57Speaker 4: we never really have ventured that far out for the green.
- 49:00Speaker 3: You've sayed very saying. I know that sucks, man.
- 49:03Speaker 1: Sorry, sorry about you, Sorry about you there. Uh okay,
- 49:07Speaker 1: let's do this. Oh switch up baseball for a second.
- 49:10Speaker 1: I'm a big fan of John Boy. I watch his
- 49:13Speaker 1: TikTok's he lip reads. It's hilarious, like he reads umpires
- 49:16Speaker 1: and managers screaming at each other and he just says
- 49:19Speaker 1: what they're saying.
- 49:19Speaker 3: With the microphone.
- 49:20Speaker 5: Did he bust the astros?
- 49:22Speaker 3: Did John Boy Bustard? Yeah? I don't know.
- 49:26Speaker 6: See I didn't realize this when we talked to him,
- 49:27Speaker 6: but I think he's the guy that like busted the
- 49:29Speaker 6: whole trash can thing.
- 49:30Speaker 9: If true.
- 49:31Speaker 3: I did not know that, and I watched all his
- 49:33Speaker 3: videos like I was a fan. I tracked him down
- 49:34Speaker 3: to interview him.
- 49:35Speaker 9: Mike.
- 49:35Speaker 3: He looked that up.
- 49:37Speaker 1: This is our sit down with John Boy Media. It's
- 49:38Speaker 1: actually John Boy himself. We were in New York talking
- 49:41Speaker 1: with him, and he goes viral constantly for his breakdown
- 49:44Speaker 1: of videos where he dissects a bunch of different sports.
- 49:46Speaker 3: He even did like little a Little League World Series,
- 49:48Speaker 3: which is funny.
- 49:49Speaker 5: It is funny.
- 49:50Speaker 3: I'm a breakdown teams.
- 49:51Speaker 1: And so I saw him walking by the stage the
- 49:53Speaker 1: first day we were there, and I was like, there's
- 49:54Speaker 1: John Boy, and he took a picture because he has
- 49:56Speaker 1: family that's fans of the show. And then he I
- 50:00Speaker 1: was like, oh, I have my sister's like a fair
- 50:01Speaker 1: whoever it was, and then this is us talking. Then
- 50:03Speaker 1: we talked baseball here here. He is a John Boy
- 50:06Speaker 1: and you can follow him on Twitter YouTube at John
- 50:08Speaker 1: Boy Media.
- 50:09Speaker 9: Right, go, John Boy, appreciate you being here.
- 50:11Speaker 11: Yeah, no, thank you.
- 50:12Speaker 9: Yesterday I think we were talking to like Grant.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Williams or somebody, and I see you out there and
- 50:18Speaker 1: I'm I tell my I text my guy.
- 50:20Speaker 9: I'm like it was freaking John Boy.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Like I geeked out a little bit because it was
- 50:23Speaker 1: you and your boy and you didn't even really stop
- 50:25Speaker 1: to watch.
- 50:25Speaker 9: Why would you we suck?
- 50:26Speaker 1: But I saw you for like a split second maybe
- 50:29Speaker 1: like just stop there, and then you walked on and
- 50:30Speaker 1: I sent my guys to chase you and they never
- 50:32Speaker 1: found you.
- 50:32Speaker 12: But now today we were quick yeah, No, I was
- 50:35Speaker 12: filming and sending it to my friend Jamie. She's a
- 50:37Speaker 12: big fan, and when I started doing podcasts and stuff,
- 50:41Speaker 12: she was one of the few people that was like, no,
- 50:43Speaker 12: I get what you're trying to do. Like you're gonna
- 50:45Speaker 12: be trying to do what Bobby Bones is doing. You know,
- 50:47Speaker 12: so many people were like what podcast? Like radio or
- 50:49Speaker 12: what is it? So I had to grab a little
- 50:52Speaker 12: video and Senator and she was like what, That's awesome
- 50:55Speaker 12: because I was also like what because I saw you.
- 50:57Speaker 9: It's crazy social and you came by to have a
- 51:00Speaker 9: lot of stuff to talk to you about.
- 51:01Speaker 1: And also we had dinner with rich Eisen last night,
- 51:04Speaker 1: who was like a friend of mine, But you were
- 51:05Speaker 1: on his show and I watched the clip and I thought,
- 51:07Speaker 1: I was so proud for like anybody that is making
- 51:11Speaker 1: it and what we'll call non traditional it's not non
- 51:13Speaker 1: traditional anymore for anybody under seventy years old, but when
- 51:16Speaker 1: he had you on, I felt like he was so
- 51:18Speaker 1: respectful to what you do and how you do it
- 51:20Speaker 1: that it was like he had Adam Schefter on and
- 51:22Speaker 1: I thought it was a great appearance by you, that
- 51:23Speaker 1: it'd be a pretty cool moment right.
- 51:25Speaker 9: To go on the show and do that.
- 51:26Speaker 11: Yeah, he's been awesome. So he's a Yankees fan.
- 51:28Speaker 12: So anyone that's a Yankees fan, I kind of like
- 51:30Speaker 12: jet streamed into their I don't know whatever they consume.
- 51:33Speaker 12: I'm there somehow, and he's been great because they'll have
- 51:36Speaker 12: me on and he'll ask me about baseball, you know,
- 51:38Speaker 12: about my opinions, any big Yankee moment.
- 51:40Speaker 11: I usually get a text like, Hey, you want to
- 51:41Speaker 11: come on? And I love doing his show.
- 51:43Speaker 1: Some real life questions here. Number one, I love talking baseball.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Number two, and you can That wasn't a question as
- 51:49Speaker 1: more of a statement.
- 51:50Speaker 11: I appreciate it.
- 51:51Speaker 9: Yes, Number two is drawn to the way you can
- 51:55Speaker 9: read lips.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Is that something that you were always good at before
- 51:59Speaker 1: you took it and added it to sports?
- 52:01Speaker 9: Where did the skill come from? I'm so drawn to it.
- 52:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 52:04Speaker 12: I never knew it was something I could do that
- 52:07Speaker 12: others couldn't, And so I never really knew I could
- 52:10Speaker 12: read lips.
- 52:10Speaker 11: But then I remember I said, Dad, Well, remember we
- 52:12Speaker 11: would watch.
- 52:13Speaker 12: Games and the picture would be screaming off the mound
- 52:15Speaker 12: and you'd say, Jim, what did he say? So we
- 52:18Speaker 12: just intuitively knew I could tell him what he said.
- 52:21Speaker 12: But we never thought it was anything crazy, and he
- 52:24Speaker 12: was like, oh yeah, I do remember like doing that,
- 52:26Speaker 12: like rewinding it, and then I would tell him.
- 52:28Speaker 11: And then so when I.
- 52:28Speaker 12: Started making the videos, there was some that I could
- 52:31Speaker 12: just see. But I thought, you know, because everyone can
- 52:33Speaker 12: read lips where it's let's go or certain things, so
- 52:37Speaker 12: I thought it wasn't that crazy. Now that I do it,
- 52:41Speaker 12: I have gotten so much better at it and practicing.
- 52:44Speaker 12: But I also I couldn't like there's lip readers that
- 52:46Speaker 12: you just send them lips and they can read it.
- 52:48Speaker 12: I can read sports lips kind of, and I could
- 52:51Speaker 12: read baseball lips a lot, so it's mostly context, like
- 52:54Speaker 12: I bet he's talking about this, and then I can
- 52:56Speaker 12: figure it out.
- 52:56Speaker 9: Are you ever wrong? And someone's like, you did not
- 52:58Speaker 9: read me wrong?
- 53:00Speaker 12: Oh, no one's ever done that, because I really only
- 53:02Speaker 12: do it and put it out if I think I'm
- 53:04Speaker 12: like ninety five percent that I have the sentiment and
- 53:10Speaker 12: or and then like one hundred percent of the words.
- 53:11Speaker 11: So sometimes I'll know this sentence.
- 53:14Speaker 12: I just posted one where I knew the umpire said
- 53:17Speaker 12: something something positioned to call balls and strikes, but I
- 53:20Speaker 12: could not get the first three words.
- 53:21Speaker 11: So I was like, that's close enough.
- 53:23Speaker 12: If I'm wrong on those three words, I'm not like
- 53:24Speaker 12: detrimenting his character a pole. So I think I said,
- 53:29Speaker 12: you're not you're not in the position to call balls
- 53:31Speaker 12: and strikes. And then people said what he said was
- 53:34Speaker 12: you left your position to call balls and strikes because
- 53:37Speaker 12: that's the verbage of the rule, which I should have
- 53:39Speaker 12: went looked up. Maybe so, but that's that's how I'll
- 53:42Speaker 12: be wrong. It's like, it's not the sentiment, because otherwise
- 53:44Speaker 12: I won't do it. I don't want to ever put
- 53:47Speaker 12: words in someone's mouth that they can easily be like,
- 53:50Speaker 12: that's not what I said.
- 53:51Speaker 9: Yeah, I tend to do that a lot. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 53:53Speaker 9: I do the opposite.
- 53:55Speaker 1: So whenever you're any of my like I f the
- 53:59Speaker 1: are deaf or their family members deaf, and that's where
- 54:03Speaker 1: they got that skill.
- 54:04Speaker 9: But you don't have that, right, No, you just naturally
- 54:06Speaker 9: were able to read lips.
- 54:08Speaker 3: Ish.
- 54:08Speaker 12: I think it's I've always been intrigued with hearing what
- 54:11Speaker 12: you can't hear, and I've always been intrigued with watching
- 54:13Speaker 12: baseball or any broadcasts, like the broadcast, like I know
- 54:16Speaker 12: that when they show a camera on screen. The director's
- 54:18Speaker 12: gonna switch that camera because he doesn't want a camera
- 54:21Speaker 12: in screen, so that one doesn't like little kid, I
- 54:23Speaker 12: would just like, oh, I bet they switch that camera
- 54:24Speaker 12: or so I'd always be watching to find the next
- 54:27Speaker 12: thing to talk about.
- 54:28Speaker 11: I guess. And that's one of them.
- 54:30Speaker 9: Coolest player that's reached out to you. That's a fan
- 54:33Speaker 9: that you think is cool personally.
- 54:34Speaker 12: Maybe not the most famous, but like oooh well, having
- 54:37Speaker 12: when Goory was like always in our comments and he
- 54:39Speaker 12: talks to us a lot, that's cool. We have some now,
- 54:43Speaker 12: So I'm gonna go back to like early like Greg
- 54:45Speaker 12: Bird really early on, like really really early on invited
- 54:49Speaker 12: us to Denver for like a cage session and that
- 54:53Speaker 12: was before the twenty eighteen season started, so I was
- 54:56Speaker 12: super early. And then in twenty eighteen spring training, Aaron
- 54:59Speaker 12: Judge saw me and just said, what's up, dude.
- 55:01Speaker 11: We were super small. It was just Yankee stuff. So
- 55:04Speaker 11: those were those were wild.
- 55:05Speaker 9: That's pretty sick.
- 55:06Speaker 11: Yeah, the non sports guys always blow my mind. Like
- 55:11Speaker 11: Bill Hayter's reached.
- 55:12Speaker 12: Out a lot, and uh, we'll like text me and
- 55:14Speaker 12: chat and they're like review like You're like, well, that
- 55:17Speaker 12: one was great, you know, or when Barry was going on,
- 55:19Speaker 12: I'd be like that episode was great, and I'm like
- 55:21Speaker 12: this is wild. Bill Burr retweeted or retweeted about me once.
- 55:26Speaker 12: But sometimes it's like marginal guys. It's like uh Gardener
- 55:30Speaker 12: from BANDA Brothers.
- 55:31Speaker 9: You know, the act, like the situation. It's like something random.
- 55:34Speaker 9: They used to be.
- 55:34Speaker 12: Yeah, one time I had this a music all art
- 55:37Speaker 12: Jeffrey Martin was very small, really small, but he reached
- 55:40Speaker 12: out and I was like that was the biggest.
- 55:41Speaker 9: Like but he's he's not that popular, so you like him?
- 55:45Speaker 11: Oh I love him.
- 55:45Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 55:45Speaker 1: It's like me today, I have an Andre Dawson jersey
- 55:48Speaker 1: on because I freaking love Andrey Dawson. When I was
- 55:51Speaker 1: a kid, I'm a massive Cubs fan. I was Andre
- 55:53Speaker 1: Dawson and marg Grat It's like those are my guys.
- 55:55Speaker 1: And so when like my wife was like who's there,
- 55:59Speaker 1: and I was like Andre sententially, I don't know, I
- 56:02Speaker 1: don't know can translate.
- 56:03Speaker 9: Yeah, I didn't translate at all. What's are you yelling?
- 56:06Speaker 9: The hawk? Thank you? That is a nick name? That's correct?
- 56:09Speaker 1: Yes, yes, at bias, but so one of my dear
- 56:14Speaker 1: friends for like the past fifteen years. Is Matt Holliday
- 56:16Speaker 1: his son Jackson now, and we'll just talk baseball for
- 56:19Speaker 1: a second. Yeah, obviously didn't have an initial positive run.
- 56:24Speaker 1: What got sent back down back to Virginia Beach?
- 56:26Speaker 9: Back up?
- 56:26Speaker 2: Now?
- 56:26Speaker 9: Is this crushing the ball?
- 56:29Speaker 7: Like?
- 56:29Speaker 9: How long do we think? Is this because he now
- 56:31Speaker 9: can hit lefties because.
- 56:33Speaker 12: You found out what he needed to work on, you know,
- 56:35Speaker 12: So he's probably so good at double A, triple A
- 56:38Speaker 12: that there's not much that he knows. I need to
- 56:41Speaker 12: make a correction because it's not harming my overall production.
- 56:44Speaker 12: If every left he gets, if every lefty he hits
- 56:47Speaker 12: two point fifty off of, but the riot he's he's
- 56:49Speaker 12: hitting four hundred, the grand scheme of things, he doesn't know.
- 56:53Speaker 12: I need to sharpen this tool now. I'm just talking,
- 56:55Speaker 12: and I don't know this is exactly him. But I
- 56:57Speaker 12: think when rookies get called up and they get humbled
- 57:00Speaker 12: for the first time in their entire lives, they're so
- 57:04Speaker 12: upset about it and all of a sudden feel this
- 57:06Speaker 12: feeling they've never thought.
- 57:07Speaker 11: They're like, Okay, I will go work as hard as
- 57:09Speaker 11: I can at whatever I need to. So when I
- 57:12Speaker 11: get back up that doesn't happen again.
- 57:13Speaker 9: I know you're a Yankees fan, but is this Baltimore?
- 57:16Speaker 7: Is he here?
- 57:18Speaker 9: I think same guy, Yeah.
- 57:21Speaker 12: I think it's I think the al is pretty even.
- 57:24Speaker 12: I think Baltimore's got as many holes as the Yankees do.
- 57:28Speaker 12: So I think they're being a good race.
- 57:29Speaker 11: Who's healthy? What was your what's your rotation come postseason?
- 57:33Speaker 12: But I'm excited for the playoffs this year, especially the Wildcard,
- 57:35Speaker 12: which I have never been excited for the Wildcard since
- 57:37Speaker 12: the new.
- 57:38Speaker 9: Format, there's not ninety four teams in. It's pretty cool.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Yeah, like there are college basketball teams now in the
- 57:42Speaker 1: Major League Baseball Wildcard.
- 57:43Speaker 9: Yeah cool, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 57:45Speaker 12: So I think there's gonna be a little more game.
- 57:48Speaker 12: Five game series, seven game series leading up to the
- 57:49Speaker 12: World Series should be fun.
- 57:50Speaker 1: Something that you said that has stuck with me. And
- 57:54Speaker 1: this is before Trout was injured and was done for
- 57:57Speaker 1: the whole year. But you compared how the Yankees use
- 57:59Speaker 1: judge to how Trout's career has been with the Angels,
- 58:04Speaker 1: and this has got to be a year that.
- 58:06Speaker 9: Yeah, or it's a waste.
- 58:07Speaker 11: Well, they've made the playoffs. Some people got really upset.
- 58:09Speaker 11: I just I don't want it to become that.
- 58:12Speaker 12: The haters are already saying that, Yankee haters saying, oh,
- 58:14Speaker 12: it's like Trout, they're wasting it.
- 58:16Speaker 11: The Yankees aren't. They're gonna get sodo.
- 58:18Speaker 12: They're gonna I hope they're gonna try to get soda,
- 58:20Speaker 12: I should say, which is all they can really do.
- 58:22Speaker 11: And Judge's been to the postseason, but yeah, we need
- 58:27Speaker 11: to get some wins.
- 58:28Speaker 3: New York.
- 58:28Speaker 11: Jeter's a hero, not because he was a really good
- 58:30Speaker 11: baseball player in.
- 58:31Speaker 12: A capa because in the playoffs he has like five
- 58:33Speaker 12: moments I could name, and even casual baseball fans are like, yeah,
- 58:37Speaker 12: I've heard about that. Like, so Judge needs those moments,
- 58:39Speaker 12: but he needs the surrounding people to help him out.
- 58:42Speaker 9: I'm so jealous.
- 58:43Speaker 1: You have a team that spends money, yeah, and well
- 58:45Speaker 1: you spend money on a manager. Yeah, and we see
- 58:48Speaker 1: how that's working out so far. I'm happy we didn't
- 58:51Speaker 1: sell because the Cubs. You know, obviously we get Counsel.
- 58:54Speaker 1: We spend all the money at Counsel. He comes from Milwaukee.
- 58:57Speaker 9: But really we were at the position of we start
- 58:58Speaker 9: first started the season, we're playing pretty well.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Yep, I did not go well up until the All
- 59:03Speaker 1: Star break, and since we've played okay, but I'm happy.
- 59:06Speaker 9: In the past Cup teams they would have sold everybody.
- 59:09Speaker 11: Yeah, the half rebuilds don't really work.
- 59:12Speaker 12: So that's why this new wildcard is so tough, because
- 59:15Speaker 12: if you look at the Cubs when they did sell
- 59:18Speaker 12: everything and rebuild, the Astros when they rebuilt, the Tigers
- 59:21Speaker 12: never worked out when they tried it. The Orioles just rebuilt,
- 59:23Speaker 12: like you have to go rock bottom and say for
- 59:26Speaker 12: three years, we're gonna be rock bottom.
- 59:28Speaker 11: But now with this wild card, where.
- 59:30Speaker 12: You can be a five hundred ball club, get into
- 59:32Speaker 12: the postseason and maybe make a run like the Diamondbacks
- 59:35Speaker 12: and the Rangers last year, you're not going to have
- 59:37Speaker 12: too many teams commit to that giant We're gonna stink,
- 59:42Speaker 12: which I think is hard because.
- 59:46Speaker 11: Selling at the deadline isn't really that worth it unless
- 59:48Speaker 11: you're going to like go all in.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I also feel like for owners, adding the teams in
- 59:53Speaker 1: the wild card is beneficial because you can say, well,
- 59:56Speaker 1: we made the wildcall, even if you're the very last
- 59:58Speaker 1: team in, like we so money and yeah, and you
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: can use that as a look, we made the wildcard,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: like we're actually trying to kind of appease a fan
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: base that would get upset if you did not.
- 1:00:07Speaker 9: Make the playoffs.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Yes, I feel like it's a free pass for owners
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: to not have to spend money because they can claim
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: they made the playoffs, even though it's like the last
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: the spots that have just been added, and.
- 1:00:17Speaker 11: They want to add more. They want to get to
- 1:00:19Speaker 11: everybody's in.
- 1:00:20Speaker 12: They want to get fifty percent because they look at
- 1:00:22Speaker 12: NBA and NFL, fifty percent of the teams get into
- 1:00:24Speaker 12: the postseason, and I think we're like forty eight or
- 1:00:27Speaker 12: something like that.
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: Communism baseball atiple we're called.
- 1:00:29Speaker 12: They're going to try and add two more teams, split
- 1:00:31Speaker 12: the league, no divisions, just NLAO and then the top
- 1:00:35Speaker 12: half of each going.
- 1:00:37Speaker 11: I think that's what they want to do.
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: It sounds like college football, what college football is doing well,
- 1:00:40Speaker 9: I don't think.
- 1:00:40Speaker 12: I don't really enjoy I don't enjoy that the wild
- 1:00:43Speaker 12: card if you want that many teams in fine, but
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: I hate playoff baseball kicking off at two o'clock on
- 1:00:49Speaker 12: a Tuesday when there's no fans there and no one
- 1:00:52Speaker 12: can watch on TV.
- 1:00:54Speaker 11: You know, when the Cubs were in that wild Card game.
- 1:00:56Speaker 12: My friends that weren't baseball fans came over to our
- 1:00:59Speaker 12: house and watched it because, oh my goodness, we kicked
- 1:01:02Speaker 12: off with a primetime game where one of these teams
- 1:01:05Speaker 12: was going to get eliminated.
- 1:01:06Speaker 11: It was a one game series.
- 1:01:07Speaker 12: I know it sucked for the teams that tried so
- 1:01:09Speaker 12: hard and got it, but it was Yes, if it
- 1:01:12Speaker 12: was your team, gut rench.
- 1:01:13Speaker 11: I hate it when the Yankees were in it. When
- 1:01:14Speaker 11: the Yankees were in it, must see baseball.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Last question for you, give me your mount rushmore of
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: most hated players and not personally, not personally, oh that
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I think the public that I hate a player, Yes,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: being a Yankees fan.
- 1:01:28Speaker 11: Oh, these are so irrational.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: So if you clip this up, but I would like
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: to say, we will not clips up. He does not
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: dislike you as a human being. It's based as his fandom.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Who you hated the most.
- 1:01:38Speaker 12: And what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna go back
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: to like my fourteen year old self when it was
- 1:01:41Speaker 12: really irrational.
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: Perfect.
- 1:01:43Speaker 11: Jose Valverde, the closer for the the Higers who did Tigers.
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: Yeah, de Troy did not like him. Why not though?
- 1:01:52Speaker 12: Because he was flamboyant and good and like just would
- 1:01:56Speaker 12: would do all the celebrations that closers do now, but
- 1:01:58Speaker 12: they didn't do that much sense, same with who was
- 1:02:02Speaker 12: the closer. Eventually I came no, no, no, I came
- 1:02:04Speaker 12: around to like him because he played until he's forty five.
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: Archer, Archer, Archer. No no, no, I don't know Rodney Rodney.
- 1:02:12Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:02:12Speaker 12: I was like, it was a lot of clothes, I
- 1:02:14Speaker 12: don't know who, because that meant you were losing got
- 1:02:16Speaker 12: it and they were celebrating.
- 1:02:18Speaker 11: So I think closers really rubbed me the wrong way.
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: As far as Yankees, I'm surprised it's not all Red
- 1:02:22Speaker 9: Sox for you.
- 1:02:24Speaker 11: Uh you know what happened.
- 1:02:25Speaker 12: I moved to California in high school, and they didn't
- 1:02:28Speaker 12: really care about baseball the way the Northeast cares about it.
- 1:02:31Speaker 12: So I grew this respect for Phillies, for Mets, for
- 1:02:34Speaker 12: just the fans out there, even some Midwest fends, just
- 1:02:37Speaker 12: for being so die hard that it lessened some of
- 1:02:41Speaker 12: the hate.
- 1:02:41Speaker 11: But yeah, I hated Pedro. I mean you're talking high school, yeah,
- 1:02:44Speaker 11: for Pedro, like, and now I love him. I went
- 1:02:46Speaker 11: as soon as he went to the Mets and we
- 1:02:48Speaker 11: got to play him again in the World Series. I
- 1:02:49Speaker 11: was like, yes, give me this back.
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: Like I like hating you.
- 1:02:52Speaker 12: Papa Bond was really fun to hate, still actually still
- 1:02:56Speaker 12: had now as I'm an adult, it's sad to hate,
- 1:02:58Speaker 12: like still hate, but I'm like to but I like
- 1:03:00Speaker 12: watching I'm like, ah, watching a car crash on what
- 1:03:04Speaker 12: you doing?
- 1:03:04Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: Be quiet?
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: Well well except those four there's only four heads.
- 1:03:08Speaker 11: Yeah, one irrationals Wilson bet at me. He doesn't deserve
- 1:03:10Speaker 11: it at all. But he had like a tiny stint
- 1:03:13Speaker 11: with the Yankees, and I was just like, yeah, this
- 1:03:14Speaker 11: guy out of here.
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: You attached to hate quick quick.
- 1:03:17Speaker 12: I think a Rod was hurt and he was supping
- 1:03:18Speaker 12: in and I was like, this guy, I don't even
- 1:03:20Speaker 12: think it's SATs for that bad looking.
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: Back at it, Well, massive fan, thank you.
- 1:03:24Speaker 11: I appreciate that song.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: My oh final story, I'll tell you so and this
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: is about you, but indulge me for one second. So
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I got invited this this year to go play in
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: the Major League Baseball Celebrity All Star Game, and I
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: thought it was pretty cool.
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: I'm a big fan.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Obviously. We went to Arlington where the Rangers played, and
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I went and it was an amazing experience. Actually won
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: MVP of the game, and it was super cool when
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I got the belt.
- 1:03:47Speaker 9: Thank you. But this is not I thought this was
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: about it is it is about him.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: It's about him because I'm telling you from the minute
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: that I was invited in and it was announced even
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: after I won the MVP, probably two hundred tweets where
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: you're famous, John Boy didn't make it. He's way more
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: famous than you. That's bull crap. You have such a
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: loyal army that attacked me for no reason. I'd like
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: to shout out because I respect that.
- 1:04:08Speaker 11: All right, Well I didn't. I would never tell him
- 1:04:10Speaker 11: to do that. Call him right now, don't you.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: No?
- 1:04:12Speaker 11: I mean I actually it was like a reflection on me.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: No, great and reflect I was like, that's the passion
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: for Yeah, that's nice because I was like, they want to.
- 1:04:20Speaker 11: See me go out there embarrass myself.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Well, I was like, they're right, they're right, because I'm
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: a fan of you as well. But I really appreciate
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: the time.
- 1:04:25Speaker 12: Was Nicky Casher Coach Dion was oh wow, okay, tough
- 1:04:29Speaker 12: break for Nicky no MVP on his team, I know, and.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Tough break for don that the MVP was a really
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: unathletic guy, but we pulled it off.
- 1:04:36Speaker 11: Did you know you were going to get it? Like?
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Did you serve about the third inning? Yeah, dude, I
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: was on after the homer. On the trip, I made
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: like four plays in the field. But then even after
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: I made like a really great play, I was like,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: John bo should be here. In my head, that's what
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I thought. Great to see.
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: Thank you, no change you so much.
- 1:04:52Speaker 11: I appreciate that.
- 1:04:53Speaker 9: Okay, Mike, did you did.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: He bust the Astros?
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: He posted he found the proof that he was the
- 1:04:58Speaker 8: first one to do that.
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: Was it trash or the wire.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: Says the stealing signs.
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: I think it was a trash can one.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: The wire is hilarious when he's when he's coming around, he's.
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: Like, yeah, it's like my wife doesn't like when my
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: shirt gets doesn't like one my nipples.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: Because he's like rounding third and he's like, no, no,
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: don't man.
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: That was and that was another one, that dirty moment
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: right there.
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: That's dirty dog.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: Yes, that's a dirty dog.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Now we're gonna talk to UFC fighter Randy Rude Boy Brown.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: Randy's nineteen oh five in his Scharnicle in the Nine Knockouts.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: He's sixty three.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: He is a beast. I mean he's a beast.
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: Yeah, tall dude, Yeah, really like tall and like thin
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: but ripped.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: He's a beast thanks to Randy here he is Randy
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: Rude boy Brown.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: So a couple of questions about jiu jitsu, okay from
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: someone who watches UFC M M A as a fan
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: but doesn't it's too scared to actually try it for himself.
- 1:05:59Speaker 9: Yeah, I know you look at me and you think
- 1:06:01Speaker 9: that dude, that dude can go.
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: That's probably what you think, right, Listen when it comes
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: to mma and jiu jitsu. I'm not gonna lie. Dudes
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: that look like you is what you got to look
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: out for.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, I figure so jiu jitsu to me feels
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: like a lot of getting somebody down on the ground
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: and then very precise movements while on the ground that
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: we're not able to really see because we don't train
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: in it. Like, what do I not see when I'm
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: watching somebody like you're a black belt jiujitsu?
- 1:06:29Speaker 9: Correct?
- 1:06:30Speaker 7: Yeah, what do I not see?
- 1:06:31Speaker 9: Because you're you're covering someone up? Like what's happening?
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: Well, the thing about jiu jitsu, right is the gentle
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: art is what we call it.
- 1:06:38Speaker 9: I don't look very general.
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: It doesn't.
- 1:06:40Speaker 13: It actually very it really is, because here's the thing.
- 1:06:43Speaker 13: You're automatically a student of anatomy. You automatically become a
- 1:06:46Speaker 13: student of anatomy. You know where which ways to bend
- 1:06:49Speaker 13: the joints, which way that they can't bend, or bend
- 1:06:52Speaker 13: which way they can bend, and also leverage points. You
- 1:06:55Speaker 13: start to learn about leverage points. So jiu jitsu is
- 1:06:58Speaker 13: all about just it's like kind of like chess in
- 1:07:01Speaker 13: a way, human chess, because if you make one move
- 1:07:04Speaker 13: that it's kind of like awe for it's the wrong move.
- 1:07:07Speaker 13: Another person can capitalize. And it's just you know, it's
- 1:07:09Speaker 13: a game of inches. It seems like they're just tussling
- 1:07:12Speaker 13: on the ground and we just doing whatever, But it
- 1:07:14Speaker 13: really is just a game of inches.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: It feels almost cerebral. It is because I'm not because
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: again I'm watching you guys. It doesn't seem very gentle.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I'll say it again, but but again you guys are
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: having to find angles.
- 1:07:26Speaker 9: It feels very angular.
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: All it's about his angles literally is all really, and
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: I know I'm.
- 1:07:30Speaker 9: Not seeing what's actually happening, even just by watching the screen.
- 1:07:33Speaker 13: What's crazy about jiu jitsu is that you can there's
- 1:07:36Speaker 13: positions where if you put your hand like this, it's
- 1:07:39Speaker 13: completely wrong and it's completely destroyed, and it's like it's obsolete.
- 1:07:44Speaker 13: And your cults would just say, hey, put your hand
- 1:07:45Speaker 13: like that, and it changes everything and it shuts down
- 1:07:48Speaker 13: the other person completely.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Because of the body's ability not to bend or turn
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: or y by a movement of an arm flipping over.
- 1:07:55Speaker 7: Leverage.
- 1:07:55Speaker 13: It's all about leverage, the small little things you learn
- 1:07:58Speaker 13: that that you can do to make change in your
- 1:08:00Speaker 13: body or make a change in someone else's body.
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: You know, that's all it really is. It's less athletic
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: and more uh cerebral.
- 1:08:08Speaker 9: Whenever you're getting punched in the face.
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: That's a different thing. That's athletics.
- 1:08:13Speaker 9: Do you ever Do you ever not feel it because
- 1:08:15Speaker 9: your adrenaline it's so high.
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: I couldn't tell you I don't get punch. I tell you,
- 1:08:20Speaker 7: I don't get.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Tell Come on, you see one of my fights. Yeah,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: but but everybody gets hit a little bit.
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: Hit you get like, got hit a little bit.
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: He's the greatest dodger of all time now.
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, there is adrenaline.
- 1:08:34Speaker 13: Adrenaline is involved, you know, but there's also a mentality
- 1:08:37Speaker 13: that you go into the fight knowing like, yo, I'm gonna.
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: Get hit, and you accept it. You know, you accept
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: that you're going to get hit and you accept that
- 1:08:43Speaker 7: it's a fight.
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: But does it hurt real bad while you're in the
- 1:08:45Speaker 9: middle of it.
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: It doesn't really hurt. It's punches don't hurt.
- 1:08:49Speaker 9: You know what hurts?
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, you know what hurts is blows.
- 1:08:56Speaker 13: Low blows like feel those kicks like bone on bone contact.
- 1:09:00Speaker 13: But a punch, hey, you don't feel it, you know, Brandy.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: Since COVID, you guys sometimes fight at the APEX and
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: there's no audience, there's no crowd, so literally you can
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: hear your coach every I mean you hear everyone's coach.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: But is there a time where you're listening to the
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: coach and you're like, bro, I know, like I got
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: you know what I'm doing well with my coach.
- 1:09:23Speaker 13: We're always on the same page, right, We're always pretty
- 1:09:25Speaker 13: much on the same page. That we've been together for
- 1:09:27Speaker 13: so long, so many years, you know what I mean.
- 1:09:29Speaker 7: So we're in sync.
- 1:09:30Speaker 13: But there's I will tell you there's times where I
- 1:09:31Speaker 13: hear the other coach saying some shit and I'm like, na, bro.
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: Yeah na.
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: Whatever.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: There ever a time where you feel like your arm's
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: gonna be lifted or there or there are it's where
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: you really don't know.
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: There was one time I thought this dude named Chaos Williams,
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: that dude's strong man.
- 1:09:52Speaker 13: And he was at that time, he was knocking everybody out.
- 1:09:55Speaker 13: He was a prospect and he was putting these dudes away.
- 1:09:57Speaker 13: He was KAO and everybody. And I was like, damn,
- 1:10:00Speaker 13: they want me to go in there and be a
- 1:10:01Speaker 13: stepping stone for this dude.
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: Huh. I was like not today. We went in there.
- 1:10:05Speaker 7: We had this crazy back and forth fight.
- 1:10:07Speaker 13: It was close. He dropped me. You know, I put
- 1:10:10Speaker 13: on a lot of strikes on him. But we were
- 1:10:12Speaker 13: standing there and I was unsure that one time.
- 1:10:15Speaker 7: I was unsure.
- 1:10:15Speaker 13: I was standing there like this, They said, Randy Brown,
- 1:10:18Speaker 13: rude boy, iconic picture of me just going.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: What I don't understand, though, Randy, is you guys are
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: literally seconds away from breaking someone's arm, like just I'm
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: gonna snap your arm right now, like right now, and
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: then when the fight's over, you're like, oh, bro, give
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: me a hug.
- 1:10:33Speaker 7: I love your respect. You you know, mixed martial arts.
- 1:10:37Speaker 7: At the end of the day, it's still martial arts.
- 1:10:38Speaker 13: And the premise that martial arts is built on is
- 1:10:41Speaker 13: less physical and more discipline and mental in a way,
- 1:10:46Speaker 13: the way of.
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: Being you know what I mean. So, but you will
- 1:10:48Speaker 7: break his arm, Oh I will. I'll break it with
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: a smile. You know, I will break it. But it's
- 1:10:54Speaker 7: still respect, you know what I mean.
- 1:10:55Speaker 13: And martial arts has assisted me throughout my life, not
- 1:10:58Speaker 13: only in the octagon, you know what I mean. So, yeah,
- 1:11:01Speaker 13: it's still martial arts at the end of the day.
- 1:11:02Speaker 13: So I can at the end of the day, we're competing,
- 1:11:04Speaker 13: you know, we're both competing for a bigger purpose to
- 1:11:06Speaker 13: make money, feed our families, and leave a mark and
- 1:11:09Speaker 13: create a legacy.
- 1:11:10Speaker 7: So you know, it's still all love.
- 1:11:12Speaker 9: Do you watch a lot of tape?
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: Yes?
- 1:11:14Speaker 9: Absolutely, of both yourself, will your self scout.
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: Yeah, I watch my fights all the time. I was
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: watching them yesterday.
- 1:11:20Speaker 9: And then of your next opponent.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Will you spend a lot of time watching or have
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: your guys also watch and try to find tendencies?
- 1:11:29Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:11:30Speaker 13: Yeah, we watch them, watch them. I try not to
- 1:11:32Speaker 13: watch too much because here's what happens. When you watch
- 1:11:34Speaker 13: them too much. You start to over analyze, and you
- 1:11:37Speaker 13: start to over like think about that thing that they do,
- 1:11:41Speaker 13: and you're like, oh, he's good at this, and then
- 1:11:43Speaker 13: you start to think less about the things that you do.
- 1:11:45Speaker 13: I just got to watch out for that thing. So
- 1:11:47Speaker 13: I watch a couple of times, and I let my
- 1:11:48Speaker 13: coaches take over to the rest of their watching.
- 1:11:51Speaker 9: What's next.
- 1:11:52Speaker 13: What's next is you know, me getting a top ten
- 1:11:54Speaker 13: guy hopefully you know what I mean. I whoop his
- 1:11:56Speaker 13: us and then you know, we move up, move on
- 1:11:59Speaker 13: through the rankings. You know, come for that gold man.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: Do you ever look at the pre fight odds and say, oh,
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: you got me? Okay, you got me as a dog?
- 1:12:08Speaker 10: All right?
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: Sometimes sometimes, you know it's.
- 1:12:13Speaker 13: Recently I started looking at him, you know, because it's
- 1:12:15Speaker 13: funny because people they don't really know, you know what
- 1:12:17Speaker 13: I mean, So it's interesting to do to look at
- 1:12:19Speaker 13: them and just say, so, I can't bet on myself.
- 1:12:22Speaker 9: If I could bet on myself, I was allowed to.
- 1:12:24Speaker 9: Then in life, you bet on yourself.
- 1:12:27Speaker 13: I do every time, every time, But I can't go
- 1:12:30Speaker 13: on the odds there's times where I've seen the odds.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: And I'm like, damn, I'm about to make someone a
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: lot of money.
- 1:12:38Speaker 9: You know that's awesome. Well, appreciate your time.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Thanks for explaining to jiu jitsu to like, to somebody
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: who knows that there's more happening that I'm not.
- 1:12:48Speaker 13: I'm telling you, and I wasn't joking in the beginning
- 1:12:50Speaker 13: when I said that, guys that look like like the
- 1:12:52Speaker 13: glasses smaller guy, listen, how.
- 1:12:55Speaker 9: Small do you think I am?
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: You're not that small.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: It's not that small.
- 1:12:57Speaker 9: But like I'm here and want to fight, you know,
- 1:12:58Speaker 9: it's not that How big are you?
- 1:13:01Speaker 7: I'm six six three and a half.
- 1:13:03Speaker 9: Okay, you're okay, I'm six, but I'm saying that five
- 1:13:06Speaker 9: or eleven? I don't know. Man, I'm done with this interview.
- 1:13:09Speaker 9: Can you touch the floor from my feet? Yeah?
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: His butts all the way down?
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: How am I been.
- 1:13:15Speaker 9: Challenged on my height?
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:13:18Speaker 9: What root for?
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: You?
- 1:13:19Speaker 9: Appreciate it time?
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: All right, thank you, thank you man.
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: All right, thank you guys. That's gonna do it.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Go oh us Eddie having any sort of hot take
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: this week? Going into that, and then you want to
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: say to the fans out there.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: I don't want to say, do you have any opinions?
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: Just ripping out of your tongue.
- 1:13:37Speaker 5: No, not really.
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: I mean, the only thing I thought about doing during
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: this whole tireek stuff was watching the body cam. Was
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: when they were trying to put him down on the
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: curb and he could say, well, WHOA, my knees hurt.
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: The only thing I can think of is like, or
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: I just had surgery.
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: I think he said.
- 1:13:51Speaker 6: It's like, that's crazy that his knees hurt so bad
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: that he can't sit down that easy on a curb,
- 1:13:57Speaker 6: but then he can go play football and just like
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: just run and get hit and play like nothing. That
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: to me stood out a little bit. It's just like
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: these guys probably hurt all the time. Everything they do,
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: they're hurting. Oh, it hurts to sit down. Oh, But
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: then they can go out.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: In the field and just perform to the fullest because they.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: Don't wear kneepads.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: And then you see that and you see like the
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: guys that want to move fast they go and they
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: would just wear their pants with no kneepad in.
- 1:14:18Speaker 6: So while everyone's arguing about the Tyree Hill thing and
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: what they feel about That's really the only thing I
- 1:14:22Speaker 6: thought about during the whole thing.
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: I sure thought he was going faster than he was.
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: How fast was he Well, first they were like he's
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: going one to ten. Now they're like the eyeball to
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: him at sixty and a forty and that's and I
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: understand've but I've gone sixteen to forty before, and I
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: understand your rolls window up. There was a lot of
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: things that I think both sides, if they could extrapolate
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: each individual thing, the sides would do differently. But I
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: thought initially that escalated so much for sixteen and forty
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: oh quickly too, Like I I've done sixteen to forty.
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: And got a ticket.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: He's like, I could give you a ticket for reckless driving.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: And I'm like, but please don't, officer. I love you
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: and I love officers.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: And they didn't.
- 1:14:57Speaker 5: Yeah, Tyrek didn't say that. I know, Yeah, I definitely
- 1:15:00Speaker 5: didn't say that.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Man, how about that car though, there's no way, there's
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: no way he can go over a speed bump because
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: it's so low.
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: That's the first thing I thought, like it was a
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: Lamborghini I don't know, or something. I was like, I
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: have to go over a single speed bump.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: But but then you see the other his teammates show
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: up in a Bentley and then all these other cars
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: show up, Like dang, dude, they all have nice cars.
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: That's part of the beautiful cars.
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: Man. You think if they could run fast and catching.
- 1:15:24Speaker 8: Super All right, Kevin say something going off of that. Actually,
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: let's keep backpacking on it. But I was thinking about
- 1:15:30Speaker 8: Scotty Scheffler also getting detained that morning, and I was like,
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: who had the better day after getting detained?
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: Oh, that's interesting.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Scotty the problem, I would say, though, because Scotty did
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: play like crazy, but he did not play good day
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: after that. Yeah, but the Dolphins ended up winning the game.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Uh so Tyree won the game, got to do a
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: fun celebration with the handcuffs.
- 1:15:47Speaker 8: That was great.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Scheffler had a good single day but lost the tournament
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: and had a terrible like day four good point.
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: So I will probably go Tyreek had the better because
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: he got to he got to he got to score
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: an eighty r touchdown and win.
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: But that one day though, yeah, one day, I'd say
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: Scheffler because golf is such a mental game and for
- 1:16:05Speaker 6: him to just go through all that that morning, and
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: shoot a.
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: Sixty Day four is mental two when he shot like
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: the worst round of.
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: The year, Well, he's exhausted, he'd been up all night,
- 1:16:11Speaker 6: you know, the day before he was a jail.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna go Tyreek because I'm going to compare that
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: round that Scheffler shot to the eighty yard touchdown. Those
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: are even eighty yard touchdown. And then I'm going to
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: compare the win and the loss. And I think the win,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: the Dolphins win in Week one is that tips the
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: skill that for me.
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: There's no right answer here.
- 1:16:29Speaker 8: Because this is not as if Scotty was playing the
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: Jags of Golf.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: He would have was that's correct. Yeah, I'm gonna go
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: with Tyreek had a better overall from it. It's crazy
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: to he just calls Drew Rosenhound's agent right then he.
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: Drew I Drew Drew him getting arrested.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: If I like, call my agent when I got pulled over,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: he'd be like, I'll like an hour, bro handle your crap.
- 1:16:55Speaker 5: Hey, we should do that today. Call your agent on
- 1:16:57Speaker 5: speaker and just yell, hell, do.
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: We know you don't watch sports. I had something weird happened.
- 1:17:05Speaker 10: I bought a homeless man a slice of pizza and
- 1:17:08Speaker 10: a water bottle, and he got upset with me because
- 1:17:11Speaker 10: I didn't get him.
- 1:17:11Speaker 11: A pie too?
- 1:17:14Speaker 7: So what did he say?
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: Exactly?
- 1:17:15Speaker 9: How can you play?
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: So I was at I was at the gas station.
- 1:17:18Speaker 10: This guy was like, hey, man, like you have any money?
- 1:17:20Speaker 10: Like I need some money. I was like, I don't
- 1:17:22Speaker 10: have any cash. He was like, I just want to
- 1:17:23Speaker 10: slice of pizza. I was like, oh, I'll go get
- 1:17:25Speaker 10: you a slice of pizza in there, like you have
- 1:17:26Speaker 10: any preference whatever. So I go in there and come
- 1:17:29Speaker 10: out and he was like, man, I kind of wanted
- 1:17:30Speaker 10: a pie too.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: Once they got lunchboks, I was like, what really, well
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: did you get him a pie?
- 1:17:37Speaker 7: No?
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: I didn't.
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: I didn't really.
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: Oh man, I had to get out of there.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Maybe he was just trying to get anything he could
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: because he knew here's somebody was nice and he's hungry,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: and why not try to ask for a little bit more.
- 1:17:46Speaker 9: That's true.
- 1:17:46Speaker 3: It's very nice of you though, to get in and
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: you got his water.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:50Speaker 8: I got him some water too.

- 1:18:24Speaker 3: Oh, Caitlin's like begging that Arkansas go to the n A.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: I A, so she said, she goes.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I always said playing A no scholarships and they could
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: beat everybody because she hates it. So you're at the
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: household a lot nicer. So I hate it because I'm
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: still pissed.
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: Yeah, so we'll we'll we'll win, right and playing in Birmingham,

- 1:18:48Speaker 1: first team, don't for will come up and then we'll
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: you know, have a game next week. But this game
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: doesn't count. Wish we had a game that we could
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: actually like do something this week. And I'm still going
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: to be just pissed off. A week from now, like
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: it doesn't leave until something comes in and takes us place.
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: This is a long time usually over it.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: I'm not though, because it was total.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: It was a total, like absolute earthquake, tornado, hurricane of coaches,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: missed decisions, every natural disaster at once, mud slide.
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: What do you want?
- 1:19:17Speaker 5: Tsunami?

- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: No, by this game doesn't fix it though. If we
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: win one hundred nut that doesn't fix it. We're supposed
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: to bet them.
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: What if they just play incredible though, but we were
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: supposed to. We're a thirty point favorite just about. It
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: doesn't matter. It's like we beat you a PB week
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: one by seventy.
