Garland Teen Hit by Truck | Texas News
A 12-year-old on an electric scooter was struck in a Garland crosswalk Saturday morning — the driver, a heavy-set white man with a buzz cut in a four-door utility truck with side storage compartments, stopped briefly then fled south. The teen is stable, but leaving the scene after hitting a child is unacceptable. Police urgently seek witnesses or dashcam footage from North Garland Ave and Apollo Rd around the crash time.
