- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hey friend, welcome back to Bible Track Decos.
- 0:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Mike McCurray, your host.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you so much for joining me once again today.
- 0:07[SPEAKER_01]: I've got something timely, time sensitive to talk to you about.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm holding in my hands a gospel track that we produced not long ago, specifically for the Easter season.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: And you might want to go to BibleTracksink.org to order your very own copy to date.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to share this track with you.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe just maybe you're listening and you don't know Christ as your Savior today would be a wonderful day to get that assurance to know for a fact and be able to answer with confidence the question that's on the front cover of this track.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_01]: What's Easter all about?
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: What is Easter all about?
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this gospel track, though it's pointed to some degree at children,
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's written in such a way that it can apply and reach adults and teenagers as well.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: Listen to what this gospel track says and at any time, if you'd like to go to bibletracksink.org, you can order some of our tracks.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: We have over 40 different titles.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: available for free.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: We also have tracks that you can customize, you can put church information on.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: We do some custom design and things of that nature as well.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: If you have any questions about anything that BTI, Bible, Tracts, Incorporated Can, or Will Do, feel free to reach out to me.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: You can text me at 09, 3, 1, 6, 7, 2, 4, 0.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's 3, 0, 9, 3, 1, 6, 7, 2, 4, 0.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_01]: Now, listen to what Easter's all about.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: Is it just about stuffing yourself with bunny-shaped chocolates?
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: Now, don't get me wrong.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: I love chocolate.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: Seriously, I love chocolate.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: What's your favorite kind of Easter sweet?
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, forget to ask that.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: We're a gift of track.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: So what's Easter all about?
- 2:07[SPEAKER_01]: How about those bunnies?
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: They are pretty cute and cutely, but I'm pretty sure they don't hold the key to the Easter secrets.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_01]: So what's Easter all about?
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's all about finding eggs.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: Kids love finding eggs, right?
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: On Easter Sunday, churches and town parks are filled with people looking for eggs by the thousands.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: Can the answer to our Easter question be found?
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: Inside the eggs?
- 2:33[SPEAKER_01]: I doubt it.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_01]: If that were true, someone would have discovered this secret already, instead of just more sweets.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: So, what's Easter about?
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: We might be looking in the wrong place.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_01]: only seems to hide the true meaning of Easter behind layers of weird traditions that don't always make sense.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: So one last time.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: What's Easter all about?
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: Well I'm glad you asked.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: Easter is the day we celebrate something or should I say some one extraordinary.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_01]: Now who am I talking about?
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: Let me introduce you to the real reason for Easter.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: His name is Jesus.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_01]: You see Jesus is the reason for Easter.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: You may be wondering, is Jesus really so important?
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't he also the reason for the season at Christmas time?
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: Does he really need two holidays allow me to explain?
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: Christmas is about Jesus' birth.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Remember the shepherds and angels?
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: Remember the wise men who came later in worshiped Jesus as a child?
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: Christmas is a wonderful time to ponder how Jesus, God's only begotten son, came to earth to dwell among men.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: But why did Jesus come to earth?
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Easter answers that question.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus didn't come into the world to feed thousands or walk on water.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus didn't just leave heaven to heal the blind and sick or give wise speeches to crowds of people.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: We are so thankful.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: He did all of those remarkable deeds, but there is more to the story.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: And Easter tells us all about it.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: Easter is about Jesus's death and burial.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: But the story doesn't end with Jesus dying and being placed in a tomb.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: Death could not hold him.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: And now, Jesus lives again in heaven.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus rising from the dead, or his resurrection, as we call it, proved he is God and his past great power over death in sin.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: The Bible tells us about his amazing resurrection in Matthew 28, verses 5 and 6.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_01]: An angel shares what happened with some friends of Jesus.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: And the angel answered and said unto the women, fear and not ye, for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: He is not here, for he is risen as he said, come, see the place where the Lord lay.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: We are about to find Easter's true importance.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: Why was it necessary for Jesus to prove his power?
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: Because Jesus is God, he had the power to do something that no one else could do.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: He took on himself the punishment for our sins.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: The Bible says in the book of Romans chapter 3, verse 23,
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, every person has sinned against God.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: You, me, and every one of us have broken God's law in some way, whether by lying, stealing, disobedience, or even bad thoughts, we all fall short of God's perfect standard.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: Because of our sins, we cannot go to heaven when we die.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: Because of our sins, we cannot be welcomed into God's family or enjoy the peace of knowing Jesus as our friend.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: But there is good news.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: who never sinned, willingly went to the cross, to pay for our sins.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: Romans 5 verse 8 says, but God commendeth that word commendeth means proved, but God commendeth or proved his love toward us.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus died to take the punishment that we deserve.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: But as we have already seen his death was not the end.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: He rose from the dead three days later, defeating death and sin once for all.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: This is what we celebrate on Easter, because the book of 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verses 3 and 4 tells us, Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_01]: So, what does this mean for you?
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: It means that because of Jesus's death and resurrection, you can be forgiven of your sins and have eternal life with God.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: The Bible also tells us a very familiar passage, John 3 16, for God.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: So loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that who, so ever believe it in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus offers this gift of salvation to everyone who believes in him.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: Romans 10, 9, explains how you can receive this gift.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thy heart that God had raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: To believe in Jesus means to trust that his death and resurrection paid the full price for your sins.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: Now, it's your choice.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: Easter is not just a holiday or a story, and it's not about bunnies or chocolates.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: Easter is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's a reminder of God's love for you and the gift he offers.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: You can choose to accept his gift of forgiveness and eternal life, but you have to make the choice.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: If you'd like to receive Jesus as your Savior, you can claim God's promise of salvation right now.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: You can pray to God, confess you are a sinner, ask God to save you, and receive Jesus as your Savior.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: If you've made this decision, I want to welcome you to God's family.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: Easter is now more than just a holiday for you.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's a celebration of your new life in Christ, in Jesus.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus promised in the Book of John chapter 11 verse 25.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: I am the resurrection in the life.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: He that believe it in me, though he were dead.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: That means dead spiritually.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yet, shall he live?
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: If you would like to pray to receive Jesus or want to learn more, we would love it.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: If you would contact us.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, Easter is all about new life.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: You're a new life in Christ.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: That is what Easter is all about.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_01]: And this gospel-track explains that.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: I just shared it with you from cover to cover.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: You can order this gospel track if you're a Christian out there and you'd like to order some in time for Easter and hand them out, maybe like to do a special push.

- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: Had scripture filled a text throughout, it's a great resource to reach children.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'll share more about that in just a moment.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: But if you are concerned about your eternal
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: I would love to talk to you.

- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: If you have questions about our ministry regardless,
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: of the vein of your questions.

- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, the coloring books cost a bit more than our tracks.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: We put up millions of tracks every year for free.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: But those coloring books have just a small cost associated with them.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: So don't be surprised by that.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: But I believe the cost is more than fair.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: Really it's an investment.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: an opportunity to invest in young people to reach them with a glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: That's one of our goals.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: To reach every man, woman, and child with a gospel, our motto, our theme here at BTI is simply this, of the Word of God to all the world.
