Real peace comes from reconciliation with God. It's a treasure of infinite value. At Christmastime, we are reminded that God initiated reconciliation with man by entering our realm. He gives us a peace that is not like the kind of peace the world gives (which promises to come when all the circumstances line up for us). Real peace is not the absence of conflict, it is the presence of the living God within us.
