- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hello everyone, welcome to this week's episode of Headlines Today,
- 0:11Speaker 2: as Ben is doing his favorite golf event of the year,
- 0:14Speaker 2: the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament in Orlando.
- 0:18Speaker 3: I can't believe it, how much so emotion I've seen
- 0:20Speaker 3: of that.
- 0:21Speaker 4: I was going to say, Jared's here with me and
- 0:23Speaker 4: you see him promoted a lot.
- 0:25Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm the you feel it left out?
- 0:28Speaker 3: No, I'm the poor man's Ben Higgins, which I have
- 0:31Speaker 3: no problem doing.
- 0:32Speaker 5: Wait, why are you the poor man's Ben Higgins?
- 0:34Speaker 3: Well, he was third, I was fourth. He was the bachelor.
- 0:36Speaker 3: I was not. Yeah, but what if he's not on
- 0:39Speaker 3: the podcast?
- 0:40Speaker 5: Oh, I'm here and.
- 0:42Speaker 3: He's far superior at golf than I am.
- 0:44Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I know, so I don't know. Would you
- 0:47Speaker 4: qualify for playing in that celebrity tournament?
- 0:49Speaker 6: Absolutely not. Do you have to qualify as I have
- 0:52Speaker 6: no idea why. You probably have to be able to
- 0:54Speaker 6: hit it on the fairway, and that's an issue for me.
- 0:56Speaker 5: You are you are?
- 0:57Speaker 6: I'm not decent? Yeah, But Ashley, I what I do?
- 1:01Speaker 6: I'll say this, I hit the ball well, I hit
- 1:04Speaker 6: it solid. I mean if I hit a drive, I
- 1:06Speaker 6: can hit it to eighty three hundred, but.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Already bored, Like it's.
- 1:11Speaker 6: Going left and right real quick, and there are there's
- 1:14Speaker 6: there's no crowds where I play, and there are crowds there,
- 1:17Speaker 6: and I'd be very nervous for them.
- 1:19Speaker 7: Well, I have to say that if there's one thing
- 1:23Speaker 7: that I don't pay attention to when Bennick talks, it
- 1:26Speaker 7: would be golf. And we're like, let's hurry it up,
- 1:28Speaker 7: because I feel like most of the audience feels the same.
- 1:30Speaker 5: But we are so happy that he is happy out
- 1:33Speaker 5: on the golf.
- 1:33Speaker 4: Course where Florida they have like hit the twenty degrees
- 1:38Speaker 4: twenty degrees in Florida.
- 1:39Speaker 5: Hit the twenty degree mark over night in Florida the
- 1:42Speaker 5: other day.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's so rare.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm sure it wasn't like even if it
- 1:46Speaker 4: was like forty something during the.
- 1:47Speaker 5: Day, Like that's a big difference.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Then Jared and I are like seriously contemplating Florida as
- 1:52Speaker 4: a place to live. All right, We're all over the
- 1:56Speaker 4: place already, do you know why?
- 1:57Speaker 6: Do you know why we're contemplating it, Because anybody in
- 2:00Speaker 6: the Northeast right now is also contemplating it because it's
- 2:04Speaker 6: for what feels like the seventeenth straight day. It's in
- 2:09Speaker 6: single digits and freezing because this snow is going nowhere anyway.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I don't know who's listening to this in Northeast.
- 2:15Speaker 6: But if you're there, everybody's contemplating living in Florida at
- 2:18Speaker 6: this point.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Moving forward, here we go.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Well, I have lots to say about that, but we
- 2:22Speaker 4: won't get there, all right. Headline number one this week,
- 2:25Speaker 4: Kelsey Anderson. This is fun because Jared knows nothing going
- 2:29Speaker 4: on in Bachelor Nation. Okay, he doesn't follow. You should
- 2:33Speaker 4: see this man scrolling through his Instagram feed. It's as
- 2:37Speaker 4: if he scrolls with absolutely not paying attention to anything
- 2:41Speaker 4: where I'm like, sir, what are you searching for? I
- 2:44Speaker 4: do a lot of searching for patriots in Scream Sep.
- 2:48Speaker 7: Seven.
- 2:48Speaker 3: You don't know what number scream is coming out?
- 2:50Speaker 5: Oh babe, I do know I did in Steid of seven.
- 2:54Speaker 3: AnyWho.
- 2:55Speaker 6: Yeah, I do a lot of respect follows on Instagram,
- 2:57Speaker 6: of course, Like if somebody's following me, I'll follow them
- 2:59Speaker 6: and and I will, you know, try to double tap
- 3:03Speaker 6: to like or view something. But you know, I mean
- 3:08Speaker 6: a lot of times as with people watching my content,
- 3:11Speaker 6: probably ninety percent of the time they don't care.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Moving forward, Okay, moving forward, let's talk about Kelsey and Joey.
- 3:18Speaker 4: So Kelsey shares the role that she would like Joey's
- 3:23Speaker 4: Dancing with the Stars cast mates to have in their wedding. Basically,
- 3:28Speaker 4: she just wants them to teach her how to dance
- 3:31Speaker 4: before she gets there and does their first dance. She
- 3:34Speaker 4: says that he has been trying to teach her little things,
- 3:37Speaker 4: like when they're cleaning the house, they'll have a little
- 3:39Speaker 4: dance breaks that's so adorable and so young of them,
- 3:43Speaker 4: and then he'll try to teach me and I'm like, wait, no,
- 3:47Speaker 4: it's not that wait what is this?
- 3:49Speaker 5: And that sounds like me dancing?
- 3:51Speaker 4: Absolutely, So they're hoping to, you know, get her to
- 3:55Speaker 4: be a better dancer before the wedding. And another thing
- 3:58Speaker 4: that they that she mentioned about their wedding is that
- 4:00Speaker 4: they're going to have a band and a DJ, which
- 4:03Speaker 4: Jared and I are very much fans of. That is
- 4:06Speaker 4: the way to go if you can manage it, don't
- 4:10Speaker 4: you agree, big Yeah?
- 4:11Speaker 6: Of course the band was great for the first portion
- 4:14Speaker 6: and then when it really started turning into what we
- 4:16Speaker 6: wanted was a party.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Well, we didn't want a romantic experience, but of course.
- 4:20Speaker 6: The last DJ was definitely the most party vibes there were,
- 4:23Speaker 6: which is why we went with a band early.
- 4:26Speaker 3: On, because we wanted that experience.
- 4:27Speaker 6: But then we also wanted, you know, our songs to play,
- 4:31Speaker 6: and the band, the band, we.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Knew the songs and the way that we knew the
- 4:34Speaker 5: songs was going to cover.
- 4:36Speaker 6: Like we're playing New Kids on the Block. We want
- 4:37Speaker 6: to hear Donnie if we hear Backstreet Boys or so on.
- 4:39Speaker 4: So we imagine a band covering New Kids on the
- 4:41Speaker 4: Block like block party.
- 4:44Speaker 3: That'd be awesome, would it be? Why not?
- 4:47Speaker 5: I like the DJ version of that better.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Well anyway, I was going to say that with the DJ,
- 4:54Speaker 4: make sure that you have them play the songs that
- 4:58Speaker 4: you want them to play, Like give them, Liz, because
- 5:02Speaker 4: you do not want wedding standards. That nothing will bring
- 5:05Speaker 4: your your wedding down more than uptown.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Funk you up.
- 5:10Speaker 6: I always think of the same thing, like if the
- 5:12Speaker 6: first song is Uptown, if I hear that boom, I'm.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Like, dude, I'm out, I'm out.
- 5:17Speaker 6: I love and respect all of you guys and it's
- 5:19Speaker 6: nothing personal, and but it's just you know, we got
- 5:23Speaker 6: two kids at home.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Kids, we're out, Like if.
- 5:26Speaker 4: We hear ups out, we're like, this is our time
- 5:28Speaker 4: to go. It was a great song when it came out,
- 5:32Speaker 4: but then it got to be the most overplayed song
- 5:35Speaker 4: of all time. And it's not just that song. What's
- 5:38Speaker 4: another one? Like I don't what's another one? But you
- 5:42Speaker 4: love playing mister Brightside for your wedding guests at adult
- 5:45Speaker 4: of course that's not that's different.
- 5:48Speaker 6: Actually, it is by far the most popular song at
- 5:52Speaker 6: every after party we play.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Except for when you also placed Clean Dion.
- 5:56Speaker 6: Even more popular because the It's all coming back now
- 6:00Speaker 6: is awesome, but there are only the song is so long, Yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 6: certain segments that people get really hyped for the nights
- 6:08Speaker 6: of this pleasure like that is the best. But mister
- 6:11Speaker 6: Brightside the entire song from beginning to end. Everybody knows
- 6:14Speaker 6: every word.
- 6:16Speaker 4: So basically, if you guys didn't know, Jared is kind
- 6:19Speaker 4: of a wedding DJ because he does the wedding after
- 6:22Speaker 4: parties at Audrey's.
- 6:23Speaker 3: I made a playlist, He made.
- 6:24Speaker 4: A playlist, but he knows exactly what turns the crowd
- 6:27Speaker 4: up anyway, moving on to definitely something that we should
- 6:32Speaker 4: be talking about together. Our friend Sidney Gordon reveals that
- 6:35Speaker 4: she is engaged to Nathan who. I mean, Wow, they've
- 6:40Speaker 4: been together for it's not even seven months. We haven't
- 6:43Speaker 4: met him. She was like you, she was like, oh.
- 6:45Speaker 5: My god, you guys need to know. He's like you guys,
- 6:47Speaker 5: are can get along with him?
- 6:48Speaker 4: So well, he's from South Africa and we're really really
- 6:51Speaker 4: happy for her. I haven't seen her in months, since
- 6:58Speaker 4: before she started dating this guy, and my makeup artist
- 7:01Speaker 4: she has seen her and she said that like she's
- 7:03Speaker 4: never seen someone like so oohy and I in love.
- 7:08Speaker 6: Uh yeah, I mean I'm happy for her.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I'm very happy.
- 7:12Speaker 6: I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but you know, we
- 7:18Speaker 6: haven't spoken to Sydney in a long time.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I personally haven't, not.
- 7:21Speaker 4: For not for any reason of like just because like
- 7:24Speaker 4: she's honestly been like in South Africa this.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Year, in South Africa now, which is I hope she's happy.
- 7:30Speaker 6: She seems I can never go to her.
- 7:32Speaker 4: Store in Newport because I have two kids now, so
- 7:35Speaker 4: it's like do I want to pay a babysitter to
- 7:37Speaker 4: go shop? No?
- 7:41Speaker 6: I mean I have no doubt that she's happy, and
- 7:44Speaker 6: I hope things are going well with her and the
- 7:46Speaker 6: boyfriend the fiance.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Holy moly, But Sidney's a friend.
- 7:53Speaker 7: You know.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Sidney used to help out with social media at Audrey's
- 7:56Speaker 6: and she used to help out a ton with our
- 7:58Speaker 6: social media. And she's always been a good friend, and
- 8:02Speaker 6: I really have always enjoyed our time with her, and
- 8:05Speaker 6: so I wish her nothing but the best. I wish
- 8:07Speaker 6: I had more to say about that, but it's just
- 8:09Speaker 6: like it's like she's a whole It's like a whole
- 8:10Speaker 6: different life.
- 8:11Speaker 3: It really is like I don't even feel like we
- 8:13Speaker 3: know Sydney anymore.
- 8:15Speaker 6: Well, not in a bad way, but just like, you know,
- 8:18Speaker 6: I see on social media, I'm like, Oh, she's she's
- 8:20Speaker 6: dating guy for South Africa. She's moving to South Africa.
- 8:22Speaker 6: She's opening a folk vintage store in South Africa.
- 8:25Speaker 5: How did I not see this?
- 8:27Speaker 3: I think right to her is.
- 8:29Speaker 5: When are you back in America? And she didn't respond yet.
- 8:32Speaker 4: So anyway, she just talked about the ring, and she
- 8:35Speaker 4: said they've obviously talked about engagement beforehand, and she wanted
- 8:38Speaker 4: the ring to be perfect, so they went shopping for rings.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Oh, she was like, very very aware that they were
- 8:43Speaker 5: going to get engaged.
- 8:45Speaker 4: And she also knew that he'd asked her parents for
- 8:50Speaker 4: her hand in marriage. She knew it was coming, just
- 8:53Speaker 4: didn't know when. And then Nathan said that they were
- 8:56Speaker 4: supposed to go on a little getaway weekend, but there
- 9:00Speaker 4: was a delay. The ring was supposed to arrive, and
- 9:02Speaker 4: then the ring got delayed, so they postponed the whole weekend,
- 9:05Speaker 4: and then it was supposed to come the Monday of
- 9:07Speaker 4: the next week. So we planned on going the following weekend,
- 9:10Speaker 4: and then two or three days before the supposed time
- 9:13Speaker 4: it was supposed to come, a friend phones and says, Nathan, listen,
- 9:17Speaker 4: we've got a problem. My guy's flown in with the
- 9:21Speaker 4: wrong ring. This is a yellow diamond ring and it's
- 9:24Speaker 4: completely different. Yours is still overseas. So quickly he found
- 9:28Speaker 4: a backup ring to propose with that was very similar
- 9:31Speaker 4: to Sidney's ring, but not actually the ring itself, and
- 9:34Speaker 4: he did propose with the similar looking.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Ring, and he's like, this isn't your ring?
- 9:41Speaker 4: If this isn't it, And the funny part is she
- 9:44Speaker 4: said that like all the pictures that she's posted, it's
- 9:46Speaker 4: not even the actual ring, but she said she can
- 9:49Speaker 4: barely tell the difference. So anyway, again, we are happy
- 9:52Speaker 4: for them.
- 9:53Speaker 5: That's a that's a funny story.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Do we care too much about rings?
- 9:56Speaker 4: I'm I mean, I think that once you're married, you
- 9:58Speaker 4: don't care about the ring as much.
- 10:00Speaker 3: I think just as you get older. I'm such a grump.
- 10:03Speaker 5: You are a grump. You are one thousand percent of grump.
- 10:05Speaker 4: But I do think that we care about rings until
- 10:09Speaker 4: we've been married, and then we're like, oh, it's not
- 10:12Speaker 4: that big of a deal.
- 10:13Speaker 6: Well, the only reason I say that is because, of
- 10:14Speaker 6: course rings are important where the ring symbolizes.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Yeah, ring is important, but like the like the grander
- 10:22Speaker 4: of the ring.
- 10:23Speaker 6: Yeah, I think we talk so much about exactly how
- 10:26Speaker 6: big a ring is or how many carrots it is.
- 10:28Speaker 6: And I'm like, damn man, that as I get older
- 10:31Speaker 6: and it's like, you know, we got real bills to pay,
- 10:34Speaker 6: it's like you should probably just sell that, make some
- 10:36Speaker 6: money and we'll still wear a ring.
- 10:37Speaker 3: But you know, I know it's not yours. I'm not
- 10:40Speaker 3: gonna lie. I can't imagine we'd get much money for yours.
- 10:45Speaker 4: You think it's what do you think it's a bachelor ring.
- 10:49Speaker 3: No, I know, but doesn't resale for rings not do Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 3: it doesn't.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Do well for for yeah. No, it doesn't matter like
- 10:54Speaker 4: how much they are, they always go down.
- 10:55Speaker 5: It's like a car.
- 10:56Speaker 6: I was just gonna say, I feel I view it
- 10:58Speaker 6: as a car. I would never tell anybody buy brand
- 11:00Speaker 6: new car. I'd say, by buy you.
- 11:02Speaker 5: A brand new car. Ours is the Yukon was new.
- 11:05Speaker 6: I know, but now if we were looking back on
- 11:07Speaker 6: it'd be like, you know that the truck now I
- 11:10Speaker 6: know that, like not fifteen thousand miles, but it went
- 11:13Speaker 6: down so much in value just because it.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Wasn't brand new. I know, you're not the first person driving.
- 11:17Speaker 3: So with the ring, it's.
- 11:18Speaker 6: Like like if you buy a super expensive ring, you're
- 11:22Speaker 6: definitely not getting your money back if you ever need
- 11:23Speaker 6: to sell it.
- 11:24Speaker 5: Yeah, well, I want a good investment.
- 11:25Speaker 4: About On Housewives, like how all the women are like
- 11:28Speaker 4: obsessed with having like the hugest statement rings me and
- 11:30Speaker 4: I'm like here with my like it's absolutely not humble
- 11:34Speaker 4: at all, beautiful comparison to theirs, And I'm like I
- 11:39Speaker 4: would just because of the sentimentality value of it and
- 11:42Speaker 4: even just the fact that it's sat on my hand
- 11:44Speaker 4: now for seven years that like it's part of me
- 11:47Speaker 4: and I have I don't want to. I don't want
- 11:50Speaker 4: anything besides it, because I even have that other lab
- 11:54Speaker 4: grown diamond that we got through the partnership, which is sedunning.
- 11:59Speaker 4: But every time it's on my hand, it just doesn't
- 12:02Speaker 4: feel as right. And it's fun to go back and
- 12:04Speaker 4: forth sometimes, but like this belongs on my finger. Well,
- 12:18Speaker 4: this is such a weird rollover. Vanessa Grimaldi created a
- 12:22Speaker 4: touching memento to honor her two pregnancy losses. Did Yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 4: since since having the baby Winston.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Yeah so, and it's just Winston, right.
- 12:36Speaker 3: That's tough.
- 12:38Speaker 4: So she did a video where she unboxed this pinky
- 12:41Speaker 4: promise or that she made to honor the two miscarriages.
- 12:44Speaker 4: She decided, let's say sweet to pick the birth stones
- 12:47Speaker 4: that represent the months that she found out about each pregnancy.
- 12:51Speaker 4: A garnet for January twenty twenty four and a diamond
- 12:54Speaker 4: for April twenty twenty five. A pinky promise to keep
- 12:58Speaker 4: my two babies close everyday day, she said, A pinky
- 13:01Speaker 4: promise means forever. For the longest time, I wasn't sure
- 13:04Speaker 4: how to honor these two losses.
- 13:05Speaker 5: And I wanted.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Something I could wear every day and something that carried
- 13:09Speaker 4: a meaning for me. It was never about remembering the loss,
- 13:12Speaker 4: but remembering that I carried them, that they were and
- 13:15Speaker 4: will always be a part of me, Honoring that day
- 13:18Speaker 4: I found out that I was pregnant, Like it was
- 13:20Speaker 4: the most natural way to do it. Well, now, it's
- 13:23Speaker 4: so funny that we were talking about the meaning of
- 13:25Speaker 4: rings and then this one is absolutely incredibly meaningful.
- 13:28Speaker 8: Yeah, of course, So yeah, I mean as a parent
- 13:32Speaker 8: of two, you know, I mean, it's just that's hard.
- 13:37Speaker 8: That's really hard if you want to keep trying, and
- 13:41Speaker 8: you know, we know we have friends that have had
- 13:43Speaker 8: similar situations, and it's just there's really no words to
- 13:49Speaker 8: put into perspective.
- 13:51Speaker 3: It's hard.
- 13:51Speaker 5: No, I'm so sorry.
- 13:55Speaker 4: I mean, like I know that it's happened, and it
- 13:56Speaker 4: was like but you know, there's hearts going out to
- 14:01Speaker 4: Vanessa and her husband. So wow, we're just like really
- 14:08Speaker 4: really weaving this all together right now. Haley Ferguson is
- 14:12Speaker 4: expecting baby number two after ongoing fertility treatments, so she
- 14:16Speaker 4: understands how fertility battles can go, said, our second little miracle.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Throughout her journey to conceive both of her children. Haley
- 14:26Speaker 4: has been candid about her fertility challenges. She opened up
- 14:29Speaker 4: about the pregnancy loss, canceled IBF cycles, and the emotional
- 14:33Speaker 4: toll that trying to conceive has taken on her. And
- 14:37Speaker 4: now she got to reveal this week that maybe number
- 14:41Speaker 4: two is on the way. She said the caption, somehow
- 14:44Speaker 4: love always makes room. We can't wait to welcome our
- 14:47Speaker 4: second miracle. This summer so sweet.
- 14:51Speaker 3: So congratulation.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Has two boys and Hailey has a girl, and I
- 14:56Speaker 4: feel like this is gonna be another girl.
- 14:57Speaker 6: Two boys and two girls. Well also three boys and
- 14:59Speaker 6: one girl would be also equally as amazing.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Everything, everything's amazing. So we're just happy for Haley, very
- 15:06Speaker 4: very happy for them.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah, of course that's super excited.
- 15:08Speaker 5: And her hockey player.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Yeah, they're both they both are married hockey players. Alrighty, well, congratulations. Also,
- 15:16Speaker 6: I wanted to say something about the Vanessa thing because
- 15:19Speaker 6: I was thinking about lots of you know, children. I
- 15:23Speaker 6: was thinking about how that's why I want to be
- 15:25Speaker 6: religious again. Because of that, I want to go to church.
- 15:30Speaker 6: I think I'm going to stay in my life where
- 15:31Speaker 6: I want to believe. I am down for this that
- 15:33Speaker 6: there will never come a time but you're not with
- 15:37Speaker 6: our children exactly. We will never see them again, yes,
- 15:40Speaker 6: of course. Like so it's just like I never want
- 15:42Speaker 6: to I just don't want.
- 15:44Speaker 3: To believe that.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Well, you also can choot. I mean I'm happy and
- 15:48Speaker 5: would love to go to church with you.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Yeah, I just also know that you can believe that
- 15:52Speaker 4: without course going there every Sunday.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Yeah, but it just seems like again, it's like.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I think that you need that to believe sometimes exactly
- 16:03Speaker 4: because like I am just more of an optimistic You're
- 16:06Speaker 4: not very pessimistic, but like I am just like, oh,
- 16:09Speaker 4: I am certain, like we're good, and like I feel.
- 16:12Speaker 5: Like you need a little bit more of like push.
- 16:15Speaker 6: Exactly because I feel like if I'm just convincing myself
- 16:17Speaker 6: to believe, then I'm like, this is ridiculous.
- 16:19Speaker 3: I'm such a I'm a loser.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Like I got we gotta I gotta share some stories
- 16:24Speaker 4: with you. You got to listen to some things maybe
- 16:27Speaker 4: all right about near death experiences and such, because they're incredible. Okay,
- 16:34Speaker 4: And our final headline of the week is Sean and
- 16:37Speaker 4: Catherine Love to celebrate twelfth anniversary since.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Their time on the show. They have welcomed.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Of course, their three children, Samuel, Isaiah and Mia and
- 16:48Speaker 4: oh Man in not in celebration directly with their twelfth anniversary,
- 16:54Speaker 4: but Sean posted the funniest Instagram reel yesterday of Catherine
- 16:59Speaker 4: in their pan just looking like I do every day.
- 17:03Speaker 4: You have to pull it up in perfectly encapsulates twelve
- 17:07Speaker 4: years of marriage. She's in the pantry just shoveling peanuts
- 17:10Speaker 4: in her mouth as he looks at her and pretend, Ah,
- 17:18Speaker 4: oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, Jared, you must stick
- 17:21Speaker 4: with me for one more headline.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Well, anyway, congratulations Sean Catherine twelve years.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Of course, that's amazing. Feels like just yesterday I was
- 17:27Speaker 4: watching their wedding. But it also feels like it's like
- 17:29Speaker 4: a been neon. I feel like they're just kind of
- 17:33Speaker 4: who else is being lived down in history now? So
- 17:36Speaker 4: it feels like history, who else is?
- 17:38Speaker 1: Uh?
- 17:40Speaker 3: Married? Bachelor?
- 17:41Speaker 5: Well, Jared, how many?
- 17:43Speaker 4: How far?
- 17:44Speaker 5: What do you mean like Tristan Ryan in twenty one
- 17:46Speaker 5: or twenty two years?
- 17:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:47Speaker 4: Des and Chris had been married for about ten years.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Molly and Jason, Yeah, lots of double digits around here.
- 17:58Speaker 4: Our final headline is from the Sun and the Sun
- 18:01Speaker 4: is kind of a little bit of a tabloid, so
- 18:03Speaker 4: take it with a grain of salt. But I know
- 18:05Speaker 4: that a lot of people aren't loving Coulton on the
- 18:08Speaker 4: season of Traders.
- 18:09Speaker 5: I think he started I don't watch Traders.
- 18:11Speaker 4: I do want to watch it, though, because this season
- 18:14Speaker 4: has I just feel like, well, it sounds juicy, but
- 18:19Speaker 4: usually people think it's pretty juicy, and I just think
- 18:22Speaker 4: that because it's a Bachelor in Housewives drama, I feel
- 18:27Speaker 4: like I really do need to watch it because my
- 18:30Speaker 4: worlds are colliding a little bit. Anyway, So Colton said
- 18:35Speaker 4: that he considered skipping the reunion after an overwhelming wave
- 18:40Speaker 4: of backlash tied to his villain edit on the show,
- 18:44Speaker 4: and that spilled over into the fan reaction and the
- 18:47Speaker 4: cast itself. He said he was so speculated, speculated that
- 18:52Speaker 4: he was feeling so upset about the social media attacksment
- 18:54Speaker 4: fans and his own cast mates, particularly when Lisa Renna
- 18:58Speaker 4: called him a stalker online, which we talked about in
- 19:00Speaker 4: last week's headlines. He said presumed that that was like
- 19:05Speaker 4: the final straw, and he made it clear to producers
- 19:08Speaker 4: that he would not show up to the season before reunion,
- 19:11Speaker 4: just to be attacked from all sides, and the same
- 19:15Speaker 4: frustration also apparently explains why he was notably not present
- 19:21Speaker 4: on the Watch What Happens Live episode this week, despite
- 19:25Speaker 4: him actually being scheduled as a guest on the show.
- 19:29Speaker 4: This is following Bravo announcing that Colton would be on
- 19:32Speaker 4: Tuesday show but was replaced by his rival on Traders,
- 19:37Speaker 4: Michael Rabbitport, with no explanation from the networks. He supposedly
- 19:42Speaker 4: told the producers that he wouldn't go to the reunion just
- 19:45Speaker 4: to be attacked. The frustration led to him also not
- 19:47Speaker 4: going on Watch What Happens Live as they had to
- 19:49Speaker 4: iron out how to address everything. And I'm just wondering
- 19:53Speaker 4: how Peacock is feeling about having cast Colton now that
- 19:58Speaker 4: they have all this off.
- 20:02Speaker 5: Line.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Wasn't it good for the show?
- 20:04Speaker 5: I guess it's good for the show.
- 20:06Speaker 3: We were all talking about it.
- 20:07Speaker 4: People are very It's interesting how people are very divided
- 20:11Speaker 4: on whether or not he should have been there.
- 20:14Speaker 6: And I well, uh, well, what he did Cassie was
- 20:19Speaker 6: pretty missed up.
- 20:20Speaker 3: But but also I.
- 20:21Speaker 4: See I can see both sides, I suppose, but yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 4: it also just feel like, what are you supposed to do, like,
- 20:26Speaker 4: never let him do anything in his life.
- 20:27Speaker 6: Again, No, of course not. I disagree with that. Everybody
- 20:30Speaker 6: deserves the second chance. Also, truthfully, I don't know the
- 20:36Speaker 6: exact allegations against him. I know he was accused of
- 20:40Speaker 6: stalking and putting a like.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Outside her window. I mean it was so long ago.
- 20:47Speaker 5: But also, like you know, I see both sides, is
- 20:49Speaker 5: what I want to say.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I'm not at.
- 20:53Speaker 5: All condoning what he did.
- 20:56Speaker 4: But it's also like, do we never let anybody move
- 21:00Speaker 4: Can we never let anybody move on with their lives?
- 21:03Speaker 3: No?
- 21:03Speaker 5: Of course, I think they're.
- 21:04Speaker 4: Saying that they that he doesn't deserve these opportunities on
- 21:07Speaker 4: a grand scale, which.
- 21:10Speaker 5: I don't.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:12Speaker 6: Listen, guys, if so, I think that if a show
- 21:14Speaker 6: wants to cast somebody and yeah, I mean unless it's
- 21:18Speaker 6: you know, somebody who's really uh, he's not OJ and evil. Yeah,
- 21:23Speaker 6: somebody did something horrible, but maybe it did rise to
- 21:27Speaker 6: that level.
- 21:27Speaker 3: I just I don't know the exact.
- 21:29Speaker 9: Also, I looked at the kind of platforms they, like
- 21:32Speaker 9: the media gave OJ after all that, like that, man,
- 21:37Speaker 9: I don't know, he was like always out like he
- 21:40Speaker 9: was always Yeah, I feel like he was always I
- 21:43Speaker 9: thought that was before.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I just think of him in the Naked Gun, which
- 21:47Speaker 3: was obviously previous too.
- 21:48Speaker 5: Well yeah, no I'm talking about that doesn't fit.
- 21:50Speaker 3: You must have quit.
- 21:52Speaker 5: People were just like still fascinated by him.
- 21:55Speaker 6: Well of course, but we're just fascinated by true crime
- 21:58Speaker 6: and that's just the society.
- 22:00Speaker 3: We're in documentaries.
- 22:02Speaker 4: And yeah, anyway, I mean, just to play devil's advocate here, Taylor, Frankie,
- 22:08Speaker 4: Paul Wash you know, arrested for using real boyfriend.
- 22:15Speaker 5: So yeah, damn.
- 22:17Speaker 4: So if she's the bachelorette, we have to just, I
- 22:21Speaker 4: don't know, kind of check ourselves. I don't know either way.
- 22:23Speaker 4: I see both sides. I don't want to get in
- 22:25Speaker 4: trouble here.
- 22:26Speaker 5: All right. All right, guys, that's headlines. Thanks for joining us, Babe,
- 22:33Speaker 5: Thanks for it's filling in.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Anytime. I'm in the next room.
