- 0:05Speaker 1: Welcome to Just the Cats with Michael Bennett. Hello, Big
- 0:13Speaker 1: Blue Nation. Welcome to Just the Cats. My name is
- 0:16Speaker 1: Michael Bennett on this Wednesday, September 30th. I hope everybody's
- 0:20Speaker 1: having a great day. By the way, Justin, good morning
- 0:23Speaker 1: to you. Good morning. How are you doing? Living the dream.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I'm glad. Yeah, you said that a couple of minutes ago.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I still mean it. I'm glad you are. Driving in
- 0:32Speaker 1: was the wildest. sunrise I've seen in a long time.
- 0:37Speaker 1: The sky was just lighting up the entire area in orange.
- 0:43Speaker 1: It was wild. I loved it. Not like that anymore.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Damn it. No, it's not at all.
- 0:49Speaker 2: No it's just i would ask if you took a
- 0:52Speaker 2: picture but no i was driving pictures never do it justice.
- 0:55Speaker 1: You're right uh you know there was a uh um
- 0:59Speaker 1: sunrise not a sunrise a moon rise the other evening
- 1:03Speaker 1: i think it was uh what's today wednesday i think
- 1:05Speaker 1: it was monday sunday or monday evening and my wife's
- 1:08Speaker 1: trying to get stop you gotta stop the car and
- 1:10Speaker 1: uh she's trying to get a picture of the moon
- 1:12Speaker 1: i mean just as big as it can be big
- 1:14Speaker 1: old harvest moon and it was just it was just
- 1:17Speaker 1: amazing and the the the uh pictures just did not
- 1:20Speaker 1: give it justice i never do no exactly so anyway
- 1:24Speaker 1: can i tell you something i had the weirdest and
- 1:30Speaker 1: i mean strangest dream last night and i don't understand
- 1:35Speaker 1: it at all I haven't looked it up yet, but
- 1:38Speaker 1: I should look it up. Do you do that? Look
- 1:41Speaker 1: up what my dreams mean? Yeah. Interpretation? Absolutely, I do. Okay. Yes.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I dreamed there was a big, gigantic buck in my bedroom.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Like a deer? A deer buck. Yeah. Okay. A male deer.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:57Speaker 1: And it wasn't even my bedroom. It was some other bedroom.
- 2:01Speaker 1: The deer was trying to get out this big, gigantic,
- 2:03Speaker 1: picturesque window that was supposed to be my... It's like,
- 2:05Speaker 1: I don't have this kind of a window in my bedroom.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Were you in a hunting cabin?
- 2:09Speaker 4: No.
- 2:10Speaker 1: No, this was more of a contemporary type house. Okay.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Very open. And it's like, first of all, where's this house?
- 2:18Speaker 1: I'd like to buy it. And second of all, it's like,
- 2:21Speaker 1: what is a deer doing in my bedroom? Seriously. And
- 2:25Speaker 1: I got really nervous. I'm laying in bed. It's like, dude,
- 2:27Speaker 1: you got to get out of here. Then he starts
- 2:29Speaker 1: trying to go out a window and then he comes
- 2:31Speaker 1: back over to me and he starts putting his head down,
- 2:34Speaker 1: trying to like, this is how I'm going to die.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm going to die because of a buck stabbing me
- 2:39Speaker 1: in the gut. Be a pretty bad way to go.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It would be a bad way to go. Cause you know,
- 2:43Speaker 1: you always see those deer and moose and all kinds
- 2:47Speaker 1: of things. What was it? The Buffalo that attacked the
- 2:50Speaker 1: old guy not too long ago. It's like, okay, this
- 2:52Speaker 1: is how I'm going to die is I'm going to
- 2:54Speaker 1: be punctured by a buck. But anyway, I thought that
- 2:58Speaker 1: was the weirdest thing. That was it? And I tried
- 3:02Speaker 1: to get him out, pushed him away. I started talking
- 3:04Speaker 1: to him. And then that was it. I woke up.
- 3:07Speaker 1: It was like, well, that's a weird, incomplete dream. That's
- 3:10Speaker 1: what's so frustrating. Is that there are times I will
- 3:13Speaker 1: have incomplete dreams. I want to know the rest of
- 3:15Speaker 1: the story. Yes. That happens to me all the time.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Does it really? Yeah. Yeah. Like this morning, it happened, actually.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Do you have dreams within dreams? Have you ever had
- 3:24Speaker 1: that before? That's really wild. I'm sure I've dealt with something.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Not that I can recall, but I'm sure I have. Yeah.
- 3:33Speaker 1: When I lay down and sleep, my brain goes some
- 3:36Speaker 1: crazy places. Yeah, mine does too. And I just, I
- 3:40Speaker 1: don't know. My wife took a class at Vanderbilt back
- 3:43Speaker 1: when she was in school. It was dream interpretation. And Chris,
- 3:48Speaker 1: I'll go to her.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It's like, well, I don't know. I said, well, you
- 3:52Speaker 2: took that class. It's like, you're supposed to know these things.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Ask her for me what it means if you're having
- 3:57Speaker 2: a lot. I've been having a ton of dreams and
- 4:00Speaker 2: I never have these dreams at all. But in the
- 4:03Speaker 2: last like three weeks, I've probably had, Eight dreams about
- 4:08Speaker 2: having a girlfriend. Oh, really? It's really starting to scare me.
- 4:12Speaker 2: I like this.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I don't. No, is it because I teased you? Is
- 4:17Speaker 1: it because I teased Corey? Yeah, I don't know. I
- 4:19Speaker 1: don't know what's bringing it on. But yeah, several nights
- 4:22Speaker 1: the last two, three weeks, I've had dreams about having
- 4:24Speaker 1: a girlfriend. All right. And is it the same girl? No,
- 4:27Speaker 1: it's a different one every time. Is it? Oh, wow.
- 4:30Speaker 1: You are a player. Player's going to play. You are.
- 4:33Speaker 1: My gosh. We need to get you a shirt with the...
- 4:36Speaker 1: You know, maybe an ace on the front of it,
- 4:39Speaker 1: you know? Yeah, you are a playa. So, yeah. How
- 4:43Speaker 1: do you spell that, by the way? P-L-A-Y-A? Yeah, like playa. Yeah, playa. Oh,
- 4:50Speaker 1: now you're talking Mexico. Yeah. Carmen, what is it? What's
- 4:54Speaker 1: the playa? I'm forgetting what it is. Is it Carmen? Yeah.
- 4:59Speaker 1: The playa? Okay. Yeah. Okay, good. So, I'm curious what
- 5:04Speaker 1: these women look like. What's the one that you remember first?
- 5:07Speaker 2: I mean, that's the thing. Like, I always remember them
- 5:10Speaker 2: when I wake up, but it's one of those things
- 5:11Speaker 2: that it just goes off.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Oh, come on. You forget? I don't remember. Oh, geez. Okay.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I know I had a dream that I linked up
- 5:18Speaker 1: with a past girlfriend. Ooh. And we, like, got to
- 5:22Speaker 1: re-know each other again, basically. Yeah. That was fun.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Really?
- 5:25Speaker 1: I enjoyed that one. Okay. And is she single today? Oh, God, no. Oh,
- 5:31Speaker 1: she's not?
- 5:31Speaker 3: No.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Actually just had a child, so. Oh, really?
- 5:34Speaker 1: That's awful. That's a bummer. Okay, well, maybe the marriage
- 5:38Speaker 1: is on the rocks, okay? No, probably not. You never know.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Probably not. You never know.
- 5:44Speaker 2: They look, it's always one of those things with Facebook
- 5:47Speaker 2: you never really know, but they look pretty happy.
- 5:48Speaker 1: They do? Okay, well. Pictures are one thing. You never
- 5:52Speaker 1: know what it looks like behind the scenes. I'm just
- 5:54Speaker 1: telling you. You're right. Yeah, I mean, with all the
- 5:57Speaker 1: cash flow you got, you could support a child. I mean,
- 6:00Speaker 1: that wouldn't be any issue at all. Buy her a car,
- 6:03Speaker 1: you know, nice minivan that has the TVs in the back.
- 6:06Speaker 1: I could do all that, no problem. The child could
- 6:09Speaker 1: watch it, and you know what? She could drive you around,
- 6:11Speaker 1: and you're back there with the kid. I'm good with that. Yeah, exactly.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So I'm happy for you. This is going to happen soon.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I would love to know if that's a prediction for you.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I hope not. That you're going to have a girlfriend.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Why do you say you hope not? Yes, you do.
- 6:26Speaker 1: If you're dreaming about having a girlfriend, deep down inside,
- 6:30Speaker 1: you want a girlfriend. Don't tell me you don't.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I mean, this is getting a lot deeper than I
- 6:35Speaker 2: anticipated this going.
- 6:38Speaker 1: When don't we get deeper like this? Maybe you're right.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 6:41Speaker 2: There might be something down in me, deep down in me,
- 6:44Speaker 2: that's open to the idea. But on the outside, no,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I'm good. I don't need any of that.
- 6:50Speaker 1: No. See, nothing would make me happier if I saw
- 6:53Speaker 1: you with a young lady. It would. I mean, then
- 6:57Speaker 1: I know, okay, now Justin is on his way to
- 7:00Speaker 1: having a complete life.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Not that you don't now. There are times where I
- 7:06Speaker 2: do think about how nice that would be to have
- 7:08Speaker 2: that companionship.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Yes. Yes. And I can tell you right now, I
- 7:15Speaker 1: don't know what I would do if I didn't have
- 7:17Speaker 1: my boys. Because when Patricia and I had the boys,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I was scared as can be. But today, it's like
- 7:26Speaker 1: the greatest things ever happened to me in my life.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Certainly made me grow up quickly. But anyway. All right. Wow.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Another wild conversation. I don't know where that stuff comes from.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But I would like somebody to interpret. Why did I
- 7:40Speaker 1: dream I had a deer in my bedroom? Have you
- 7:42Speaker 1: been clamoring to go hunting?
- 7:44Speaker 4: No.
- 7:46Speaker 1: It is hunting season. Oh, that's right. It is. It
- 7:48Speaker 1: is getting close to what's called the rut. Is that right? Correct.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And I've kind of been there, done that. Is there
- 7:56Speaker 1: anything out there that you have not done that you
- 7:59Speaker 1: would like to do before you get older or before
- 8:03Speaker 1: you're no longer on this earth?
- 8:04Speaker 2: In terms of hunting? In terms of anything. Not in
- 8:07Speaker 2: terms of hunting. Well, I'll stick with hunting for now.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I think I brought this up before, but I had
- 8:12Speaker 2: a friend in Florida who always told me that she
- 8:14Speaker 2: would take me.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Hog hunting.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Oh, no, you've never said that before. I want to
- 8:20Speaker 2: do that. I'm still going to try to take her
- 8:22Speaker 2: up on that one.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Of these days. Is this a she? Yeah. Oh, she
- 8:26Speaker 1: was a bad, bad woman. Really? Yeah. Really? She was
- 8:29Speaker 1: like a hunter and all that. She loves the outdoors.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Is she single?
- 8:33Speaker 2: No, but oddly enough, we did have a deal in
- 8:35Speaker 2: place that if we were both single and we were 40,
- 8:38Speaker 2: we share a birthday, so we were... We got pretty tight,
- 8:41Speaker 2: but we would have made it work if we were
- 8:43Speaker 2: both single at 40, but she just.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Got married, so that's out. She did.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Her dad also every year gets gator tags, so that
- 8:52Speaker 2: is something else that I want to do. I want
- 8:54Speaker 2: to gator hunt so bad. Really? I would lose a
- 8:57Speaker 2: foot or a hand if I did something like that.
- 8:59Speaker 2: And then staying on that same topic, if I could
- 9:01Speaker 2: go out with somebody in the Everglades and catch those
- 9:04Speaker 2: big old pythons, yes, please.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Sign me up for that. Now, every one of them
- 9:09Speaker 1: I'm not interested in. Maybe the hog hunting, going after them.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Those things are mean. Oh, extremely. And they'll attack you.
- 9:18Speaker 1: You know, when I was living in Florida, I saw
- 9:20Speaker 1: more of those than anything else. Where? Just on the
- 9:23Speaker 1: sides of the road. Did you really? Sitting there eating
- 9:26Speaker 1: grass as you're driving down the highway. I have never
- 9:28Speaker 1: seen that all the years I've been down in Florida.
- 9:32Speaker 2: When I first moved down there, I was like, man,
- 9:34Speaker 2: this is going to be great. I'm going to see
- 9:35Speaker 2: alligators everywhere. I hardly ever saw an alligator, but I
- 9:38Speaker 2: saw hogs and even bobcats all the time.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Yeah, see, I've never seen a bobcat. I've seen alligators everywhere,
- 9:44Speaker 1: especially going across Alligator Alley between Naples and South Florida,
- 9:51Speaker 1: the other side, Fort Lauderdale, Miami area. I love gators.
- 9:55Speaker 1: But I've never seen a panther, and I've never seen
- 10:01Speaker 1: a hog. You've seen a bear? I've never seen a bear. Monkey? Oh,
- 10:06Speaker 1: come on. Now you're just making stuff up.
- 10:08Speaker 2: No, there's monkeys in Florida. There are monkeys in Florida? Yeah,
- 10:11Speaker 2: there's a big population of them. Where are monkeys in Florida?
- 10:16Speaker 1: Let me look it up. You're at a point now
- 10:19Speaker 1: I'm starting to believe you're just making up stuff. I'm not. Okay.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Where are you going to start? There are monkeys in Florida.
- 10:24Speaker 2: When are you going to start believing that when it
- 10:26Speaker 2: comes to animals, I know what I'm talking about?
- 10:28Speaker 1: Listen, I don't doubt that, but I just never heard
- 10:32Speaker 1: of wild monkeys that are living in the wild in Florida.
- 10:36Speaker 2: They are living in, so they're macaques. is what they
- 10:40Speaker 2: are oh yeah but that's how they say them but
- 10:45Speaker 2: you've got silver spring state park near ocala they're living.
- 10:48Speaker 1: There really and then in the wild in the wild
- 10:51Speaker 1: not not not in the finston area.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Correct okay and then donya beach fort lauderdale area they
- 10:57Speaker 2: also have monkeys yeah somebody like had them as a
- 11:01Speaker 2: pet and they let them out one day or no
- 11:03Speaker 2: maybe it was like a hurricane yes destroyed some sort
- 11:06Speaker 2: of nature preserve or something and they got out that
- 11:09Speaker 2: way i I can't remember the story of how they
- 11:12Speaker 2: got out in the wild.
- 11:13Speaker 1: But, yeah, there's hundreds of them. Well, you know, speaking
- 11:17Speaker 1: of hurricane, you know, a couple of things have happened recently.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Number one, the last hurricanes have driven a lot of
- 11:24Speaker 1: flamingos to the beaches in St. Petersburg. That's fun. And Bradenton.
- 11:29Speaker 1: They're beautiful. I guarantee you. And they said the hurricane
- 11:33Speaker 1: winds drove them into Florida. And I thought, that's awesome.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Can you imagine being a bird flying in a hurricane?
- 11:41Speaker 1: How did it survive? The other part is, I don't
- 11:44Speaker 1: know if you saw this or not, but there's a
- 11:45Speaker 1: little town just north of Clearwater Beach called Dunedin. And
- 11:51Speaker 1: you know how they have those memorial benches where somebody
- 11:54Speaker 1: dedicates a bench to someone that passed or something like that?
- 11:57Speaker 1: And those plastic recyclable benches that they've made? Well, there
- 12:02Speaker 1: was a bench that was lost because of the hurricane
- 12:06Speaker 1: two years ago from Dunedin, Florida, that was found last week.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Are you ready for this? Mm-hmm. In Bermuda. Whoa. How
- 12:17Speaker 1: do you like that? So, in other words... That bench
- 12:21Speaker 1: traveled in the Gulf of Mexico and went around the state,
- 12:27Speaker 1: clearly on the Gulf Stream, and then ended up two
- 12:31Speaker 1: years later on a beach in Bermuda. That's crazy. I
- 12:35Speaker 1: thought that was one of the wildest things I've ever
- 12:37Speaker 1: seen in my life. It must not have been very
- 12:38Speaker 1: heavy if it didn't sink. No, it didn't. Well, it's
- 12:41Speaker 1: one of those plastic things. So I assume combining the
- 12:44Speaker 1: plastic with the salt water, it floated. Sure. So I
- 12:48Speaker 1: was just like, holy cow. That is one of the
- 12:51Speaker 1: coolest things ever. And the lady that found it on
- 12:54Speaker 1: the beach in Bermuda was nice enough to get on
- 12:57Speaker 1: Facebook and said, is this anybody's? And the family found
- 13:01Speaker 1: it on Facebook, the picture, and contacted the lady in Bermuda.
- 13:06Speaker 1: And I thought, that's really, that was a really cool story.
- 13:09Speaker 1: That is cool. By the way, if I was the
- 13:11Speaker 1: mayor of Dunedin, you'd have to say that after you
- 13:15Speaker 1: were Dunedin. Oh, my gosh. Dunny. Okay, thanks. All right,
- 13:18Speaker 1: thank you. I appreciate that. I believe Dunny is one of,
- 13:22Speaker 1: or somewhere right up there is the sponge capital of
- 13:25Speaker 1: the world.
- 13:26Speaker 4: Huh.
- 13:27Speaker 1: So, yeah, one of those places. If it's not Dunny,
- 13:30Speaker 1: then it's somewhere right around there. Is that where they make, like,
- 13:32Speaker 1: sugar mamas and daddies? What do you mean sugar mamas?
- 13:35Speaker 1: Or not sugar. Sponge mommies and daddies.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah. So, the natural sponge that comes from the Gulf. Oh,
- 13:43Speaker 1: you're talking, like, the animal. They're not animals, are they?
- 13:47Speaker 1: Aren't they? Sponges? Sea sponges? Aren't they living? They're living, yes.
- 13:52Speaker 1: But I don't think they're animals. They're an animal. Did
- 13:55Speaker 1: you look that up? Yeah. I had no idea sponges
- 13:58Speaker 1: were animals. Primitive, stationary, aquatic animals.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Wow.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Okay, now we use them to wash our cars. Anyway,
- 14:06Speaker 1: I do want to talk about this. It came out
- 14:07Speaker 1: a couple of days ago, and I have yet to
- 14:09Speaker 1: talk about it. But it's something that's made me very excited.
- 14:12Speaker 1: and that is the Power K from the University of
- 14:15Speaker 1: Kentucky is coming back for UK football. And I think
- 14:18Speaker 1: so many people are out there, especially the old diehard
- 14:23Speaker 1: UK football fans, are really excited about this. Here's the
- 14:26Speaker 1: part that irritated me the most, though. When Commonwealth Stadium
- 14:31Speaker 1: switched from natural turf to artificial turf, This was 11
- 14:35Speaker 1: years ago, back in 2015. Nike proposed a full Power
- 14:40Speaker 1: K campaign featuring the logo at midfield with matching merchandise.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And ultimately, UK Athletics turned it down. And you got
- 14:51Speaker 1: to believe it had to be one person that did this.
- 14:54Speaker 1: And that was Mitch Barnhart. And I'd love to know why. Listen,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm not going to criticize him at this point. He's
- 15:00Speaker 1: already gone. But I would love to know what was
- 15:02Speaker 1: the reasoning not to come back to the Power K.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Because IU has always stuck with IU, correct? Yeah. And
- 15:10Speaker 1: they went ahead and went with the interlocking UK. But
- 15:14Speaker 1: to go back, I think going retro, you see Major
- 15:17Speaker 1: League Baseball do this quite a bit, where they go
- 15:19Speaker 1: back and wear the old uniforms and adopt all the
- 15:25Speaker 1: old logos and stuff, which I think is really cool.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I think of all the original logos for UK, the
- 15:32Speaker 1: Power K, to me, is the most iconic over all
- 15:35Speaker 1: of them. I like the interlocking myself. Do you really?
- 15:39Speaker 1: I do. Okay, fair enough.
- 15:40Speaker 2: But I didn't also, I don't. It's the power K
- 15:44Speaker 2: is not nostalgic for me. Like it is a lot
- 15:46Speaker 2: of Kentucky. It is for me.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, it brings me back to my childhood.
- 15:51Speaker 1: By the way, speaking of logos. Yes. Did you notice
- 15:54Speaker 1: on Saturday when you're playing South Alabama, the logos on
- 15:58Speaker 1: the score bug at the bottom USA? No, not the,
- 16:03Speaker 1: not the acronym, the logo. No, I did not.
- 16:06Speaker 2: So South Alabama's logo looked a ton like Kentucky, the, the,
- 16:13Speaker 2: The one that looks like Kansas State, you know which
- 16:15Speaker 2: one I'm talking about.
- 16:16Speaker 1: Yes, yes. But their logo looked a lot like that. Really?
- 16:19Speaker 2: It was interesting to me that they had their logo
- 16:22Speaker 2: next to their name, but then next to U.K., they
- 16:25Speaker 2: just had U.K. Instead of putting their logo because it
- 16:28Speaker 2: would have been confusing because they looked.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Almost like him. Oh, yeah, so that was intentional in
- 16:32Speaker 1: other words. Yeah, exactly. No, I did not notice that.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'll have to go back and look at it. I
- 16:36Speaker 1: wonder if somebody took a picture of it because I
- 16:38Speaker 1: would like to see that. The other part was, wasn't
- 16:41Speaker 1: it Houston, the University of Houston, that has one very
- 16:45Speaker 1: similar to UK's as well? And it's always really confusing
- 16:49Speaker 1: to me to see Houston and UK.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Are you not thinking of Kansas State? No, I don't
- 16:54Speaker 2: think it's Kansas. It's just the lettering. Not the logo.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, the UH. Yes, exactly. But, no, Kansas State
- 17:03Speaker 1: definitely looks like UK with their logo. I don't know.
- 17:07Speaker 1: That cat's horrible. It's got to go. I'm trying to
- 17:11Speaker 1: think of the logos from UK that are the most iconic.
- 17:15Speaker 1: The most memorable one is the one that had the
- 17:18Speaker 1: cat with the tongue coming out that looked like something else,
- 17:21Speaker 1: another body part. I distinctly remember when that came out.
- 17:25Speaker 1: And they covered it up quickly on the scoreboard at
- 17:27Speaker 1: Commonwealth Stadium. But I think that's an iconic one that
- 17:32Speaker 1: I don't much care for. I think the two birds
- 17:35Speaker 1: that look like they're doing it is one I don't
- 17:38Speaker 1: care for. Probably one of the more logos that I
- 17:43Speaker 1: love was the three cats with the one on the
- 17:47Speaker 1: end that's holding one of the old sour mash canisters.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Do you remember that at all? I don't remember that. Oh,
- 17:56Speaker 1: that one's a great one. And they're all embracing each other.
- 18:00Speaker 1: And the one on the end has a sour mash thing. Oh, yeah.
- 18:03Speaker 1: It's a moonshine container. I don't know what it is,
- 18:05Speaker 1: but I always love that. I mean, give me the
- 18:08Speaker 1: cat that's standing up with the paw all day. Yeah,
- 18:12Speaker 1: I hear you. I hear you. But no, I just,
- 18:15Speaker 1: I don't know. Going back to the Power K, I
- 18:17Speaker 1: think just means something. And it's celebrating the past. And
- 18:22Speaker 1: I like that they're doing this.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Guy I golfed with yesterday had a power K on
- 18:25Speaker 2: his pullover. Oh, did he really? See, I have my
- 18:29Speaker 2: dad's hat that he wore for many years, which is
- 18:32Speaker 2: just a K on top on his hat.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And I love that. So your buddy's a big UK
- 18:38Speaker 1: fan that you went to play golf with? Yep. Did
- 18:40Speaker 1: he win? He did. Good. Which was really embarrassing. I'm
- 18:44Speaker 1: proud of it. Maybe the first time he's ever beat me. Oh,
- 18:46Speaker 1: it is really?
- 18:47Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Oh, that's bad. Okay. If you want to call in 502-384-1450,
- 18:50Speaker 1: if you want to text in on the Whiskey Thief
- 18:54Speaker 1: text line, you can do that, 502-414-1450, and tweet me
- 18:57Speaker 1: at JustCatRadio. So I do want to talk about what
- 19:00Speaker 1: Will Stein had to say yesterday about being ranked, about
- 19:03Speaker 1: this game, about all kinds of stuff, and there was
- 19:05Speaker 1: an unusual stat about South Carolina I didn't even know.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Until yesterday. So we'll talk about that as well. And
- 19:14Speaker 1: you can thank my good friend Oscar Combs for bringing
- 19:17Speaker 1: this to light with me. And plus, we'll get to
- 19:20Speaker 1: your text, too. So stay right there. We've got a
- 19:21Speaker 1: lot more of Just the Cats coming right up.
- 19:24Speaker 4: You scream again.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Black hole sun, won't you come?
- 19:35Speaker 4: Wash away the rain.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Black or the.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Sun Won't you come Won't you come.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Yo, what kind of a mood am I in today?
- 20:36Speaker 1: Good Lord. Dark one. Ah, that's not dark. That's just
- 20:40Speaker 1: fun right there. I mean, that's, see, I had to
- 20:43Speaker 1: turn it up in my headphones. Now I got to
- 20:44Speaker 1: turn my headphones down. Sound like deer hunting music. That
- 20:47Speaker 1: sounds like deer hunting music? Really? How does that sound
- 20:50Speaker 1: like deer hunting music? You're jacked up, ready to go
- 20:54Speaker 1: out and kill a buck. All right, here's the crazy part.
- 20:57Speaker 1: All right, so dreaming of a buck in your bedroom
- 21:00Speaker 1: symbolizes an intersection between your most private, vulnerable personal space
- 21:05Speaker 1: and powerful, instinctual masculine energy, boundaries, or untamed desires. What
- 21:12Speaker 1: the heck does that mean? I was hoping you could
- 21:15Speaker 1: tell me. I have no idea. And then it asked me,
- 21:18Speaker 1: this is where I love AI, okay? So it asked me,
- 21:21Speaker 1: was the buck calm, aggressive, or trapped? I said the
- 21:25Speaker 1: buck was calm, which it was. And then it says,
- 21:28Speaker 1: a calm buck in your bedroom is a highly positive...
- 21:32Speaker 1: A sign indicating that you're at peace with your own power,
- 21:36Speaker 1: masculine energy, or a major life transition. Hell yeah.
- 21:41Speaker 2: How do you like that? You're in a good spot, Michael.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I am in a great spot. I mean, I am
- 21:45Speaker 2: as masculine.
- 21:46Speaker 1: I got so much masculine energy in me right now.
- 21:49Speaker 1: It's not even funny. I think Will Stein needs to
- 21:51Speaker 1: call me and bring me back to play this game
- 21:53Speaker 1: this weekend is what I think. Here's the crazy part.
- 21:57Speaker 1: So South Carolina, are you ready for this? Has lost
- 22:01Speaker 1: eight consecutive games to power four opponents. Really? Yes.
- 22:07Speaker 2: So Oscar Combs called me yesterday and he gave me
- 22:10Speaker 2: that fact. He's like, wait, wait, wait, Oscar, I got
- 22:12Speaker 2: to write this down. And then I got to go
- 22:14Speaker 2: fact check it. And I fact checked it. And it's like,
- 22:18Speaker 2: oh my gosh, are you ready for the last time
- 22:21Speaker 2: that South Carolina Gamecocks football team won a game against
- 22:26Speaker 2: a power four opponent? I mean, it had been early
- 22:28Speaker 2: last year. September 27th of 2025. And guess who it
- 22:33Speaker 2: was against?
- 22:35Speaker 1: The old cats. University of Kentucky. Exactly. Exactly. Losing to
- 22:40Speaker 1: South Carolina, 35 to 13. That was over a year ago.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Times have changed. Exactly. September 27th. It was over a
- 22:49Speaker 1: year ago. So this is a big game for not
- 22:52Speaker 1: just South Carolina. This is a big game for Kentucky.
- 22:56Speaker 1: I mean, you can't go down there and you beat
- 23:00Speaker 1: a top 10 team that's no longer in the top 10.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Because everybody's going to say, well, that was a fluke then.
- 23:05Speaker 1: No longer in the top 25. No, exactly. They're outside
- 23:08Speaker 1: of everything. Where are they in the top or outside the,
- 23:13Speaker 1: did they get any points this last time or not? Oh,
- 23:15Speaker 1: I'm sure. Yeah. Okay. I'll look it up real quick.
- 23:18Speaker 1: If UK wins, does Shamer, is this Shamer? I know. Well,
- 23:23Speaker 1: I mean, might as well call him Shamer. Is this
- 23:25Speaker 1: Shane Beamer's last weekend in Columbia as the head coach?
- 23:32Speaker 2: I would venture to say no, but it all depends
- 23:34Speaker 2: on how it looks. I mean, obviously, if you allow
- 23:36Speaker 2: Kentucky to come in and just whoop you up and
- 23:39Speaker 2: down the field, then maybe so. But, no, I would
- 23:42Speaker 2: say he'll still be there next week.
- 23:43Speaker 1: See, I don't know. That would mean that is nine
- 23:47Speaker 1: consecutive games that South Carolina has lost. And, you know,
- 23:50Speaker 1: South Carolina tends to think that they are a football school.
- 23:54Speaker 1: and and clearly they're not i i have never i've
- 23:58Speaker 1: never really considered south carolina football school or a basketball
- 24:02Speaker 1: school for that fact i mean to me they're more
- 24:04Speaker 1: of a baseball school they used to be really really
- 24:07Speaker 1: good at baseball and they got a beautiful baseball stadium
- 24:10Speaker 1: down there at uh uh at south carolina but i
- 24:13Speaker 1: mean do you consider them a football school yeah you
- 24:17Speaker 1: do okay fair enough i mean just because when i
- 24:19Speaker 1: was growing up they were Now, I wouldn't necessarily say
- 24:22Speaker 1: football power, but it felt like they always had good teams. Yeah.
- 24:26Speaker 1: By the way, Texas A & M did not get
- 24:29Speaker 1: any votes. Oh, really? They got zero votes? Not one. Oh, my. Okay.
- 24:36Speaker 1: That's just really bad for them. All right. By the way,
- 24:40Speaker 1: I don't know if you saw the tweet or not.
- 24:43Speaker 1: They're getting blasted for it. Did you see where Texas
- 24:46Speaker 1: A & M put a tweet out that new end
- 24:49Speaker 1: zone design loading? why would they be getting heat for that?
- 24:55Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Are you serious? Because everybody took the
- 24:58Speaker 1: AI and change what, what the announcement is going to be,
- 25:02Speaker 1: what the new end zone is going to look like.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah. One person put ass on the end zone.
- 25:10Speaker 1: And then another person put on one end zone, it
- 25:13Speaker 1: said foosball. And on the other end zone is the devil.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I mean, that's one person put eight and four. That's
- 25:22Speaker 1: probably being generous. Uh, one person put help us at
- 25:25Speaker 1: one end zone. Then the other end zone said, please
- 25:27Speaker 1: send a coordinator. Uh, one, one person posted read sucks.
- 25:35Speaker 1: And then it said fire Elko on the other one.
- 25:40Speaker 1: this is one of the funniest one person put on
- 25:43Speaker 1: one end zone at Texas A & M home of
- 25:45Speaker 1: the 12th man at the other end zone. The other
- 25:49Speaker 1: 11 are still looking for the ball. I love some
- 25:55Speaker 1: of these. Oh yeah. One ends up one person put on,
- 25:58Speaker 1: they're still paying Jimbo 7.2 million a year. Uh, another
- 26:03Speaker 1: person put Kentucky on the end zone. I just, it
- 26:07Speaker 1: was endless. One person put, please score here. I mean,
- 26:15Speaker 1: Twitter did not. I mean, same result, different year. I mean,
- 26:20Speaker 1: that was another one. One person put a poop emoji. Oh,
- 26:24Speaker 1: my God. We should relegate to D3. And then another
- 26:29Speaker 1: person put on there, no landing zone. I mean, it's just,
- 26:34Speaker 1: it was brutal. It is brutal. I mean, I can't
- 26:38Speaker 1: believe Texas A & M football thought it would be
- 26:44Speaker 1: smart to go ahead and end zone coming, design loading. Well,
- 26:49Speaker 1: you don't expect anybody to take off and run with
- 26:51Speaker 1: that and be making a bad thing. Do you? Oh,
- 26:54Speaker 1: come on. I wouldn't know as bad as they are
- 26:56Speaker 1: playing this year. Yes, absolutely. I, that, that is just
- 27:01Speaker 1: some of the dumbest things you could ever do. One
- 27:04Speaker 1: person put pictures of their, what the Yale leaders or
- 27:07Speaker 1: what are they? It's just kind of weird. Great band.
- 27:10Speaker 1: We suck at football. Yeah. You got to go check
- 27:15Speaker 1: out the, uh, Texas A & M, um, Twitter account
- 27:19Speaker 1: right now. They're just blowing it up. But John texted in,
- 27:22Speaker 1: John here, I'm happy for my Yankees. I'm not. Let's
- 27:27Speaker 1: keep it going. Also, Michael, having a deer in your
- 27:29Speaker 1: dreams means this from AI, a deer lying down next
- 27:33Speaker 1: to you in a dream typically symbolizes deep inner peace,
- 27:38Speaker 1: emotional safety, and a comforting connection with your own gentle nature.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I didn't see that. Thank you, John. That sounds kind
- 27:47Speaker 1: of nice. It says it. It says it gets this
- 27:51Speaker 1: information from dream dictionaries, spirit animal guides, or totem animal handbooks.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I have never heard of that. Have you ever heard
- 28:00Speaker 1: of a dream dictionary or a spirit animal guide? No.
- 28:05Speaker 1: I haven't either. Nor will I hear about it in
- 28:08Speaker 1: the future. Really? We should go find out is there
- 28:11Speaker 1: a spirit animal guide somewhere close to us. Do you
- 28:15Speaker 1: think there is? Let me look. I bet there is.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about going to somebody to try
- 28:20Speaker 1: and reach out to people that have gone from the beyond? No.
- 28:24Speaker 1: That have passed away?
- 28:25Speaker 4: No.
- 28:25Speaker 1: I have. Yeah. I haven't got it. I just don't
- 28:29Speaker 1: need that. Right. Michael, do you knuck if you buck? No,
- 28:34Speaker 1: if you buck. I don't get that. No, if you buck.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Is that a song? It is. Oh, okay. Who sings it?
- 28:40Speaker 1: That's a great question. That I don't know. There is
- 28:42Speaker 1: a spirit animal guide near us. There is? Really? Shelbyville Road.
- 28:47Speaker 1: All right, so what does it say that a spirit
- 28:51Speaker 1: animal person does? It doesn't really. What's it called? Divinity
- 29:00Speaker 1: Experiencing LLC.
- 29:04Speaker 2: Divinity Experiencing. But there's also Intuitive Connection and Butchertown.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Really? Yep. Okay, I got to get more into this.
- 29:13Speaker 1: I have no idea. There's websites you can go to,
- 29:16Speaker 1: spirit animal totems. Interesting. Okay. Well, that's more stuff I've
- 29:21Speaker 1: never heard of before. So, congratulations to these people. I'd
- 29:25Speaker 1: like to learn more. But yesterday, Will Stein was talking
- 29:30Speaker 1: about the South Carolina game, and he emphasized that it's
- 29:36Speaker 1: great to be ranked for the fans, but his focus
- 29:39Speaker 1: is in on uh continuing improvement.
- 29:44Speaker 2: He his quote during that i thought was one of
- 29:47Speaker 2: the stupidest things i've ever heard why is that he
- 29:49Speaker 2: was like i don't even know why we rank them
- 29:51Speaker 2: at the beginning of the year and it's like oh
- 29:53Speaker 2: did he say that yeah I'm kind of surprised. What
- 29:57Speaker 2: do you mean you don't understand why we rank teams?
- 29:59Speaker 2: That's how it's always been done, coach.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Yeah. I would say that's, well, I don't know. I
- 30:06Speaker 1: think he's to a point where he just wants to
- 30:08Speaker 1: downplay it. He doesn't want his team to get all
- 30:10Speaker 1: hyped up that we're ranked, and he wants them to
- 30:15Speaker 1: concentrate on the next game. Everything else but ranking. No,
- 30:19Speaker 1: I mean, I get it from a player perspective, but.
- 30:21Speaker 1: For him to come out and say, I don't understand
- 30:23Speaker 1: why we rank. I just thought that was pretty goofy. Well,
- 30:27Speaker 1: he also wants to handle a hostile SEC road environment.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I mean, they've achieved that one time. Can they achieve
- 30:33Speaker 1: it again? Because that's the... I think this game, even
- 30:37Speaker 1: though the Texas A & M game was probably the
- 30:39Speaker 1: most important game of the year, I think now it's
- 30:43Speaker 1: how do you come out of that game and can
- 30:45Speaker 1: you go back and replicate that again? And can he? So,
- 30:49Speaker 1: because you wonder... Is South Carolina going to be full?
- 30:52Speaker 1: Is it going to be a full stadium down there
- 30:54Speaker 1: with Sandstorm going on, or do you think it's going
- 30:56Speaker 1: to be they've given up on Shane Beamer and this team?
- 31:00Speaker 1: I think it'll be mostly full. Mostly full.
- 31:02Speaker 2: See, I would agree with you. It's still early in
- 31:05Speaker 2: the season. Well, and you'll probably have a ton of
- 31:07Speaker 2: Cats fans down there, too. They've traveled really well this year.
- 31:10Speaker 1: That's the part that really surprised me, and I think
- 31:12Speaker 1: that's a great point, Justin, because when I watched that
- 31:14Speaker 1: game down in College Station, I figured, yeah, there's not
- 31:18Speaker 1: going to be that many people down there. There was
- 31:21Speaker 1: a really, really good crowd down there.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Well, you got to think, every SEC stadium, at least
- 31:26Speaker 2: in terms of football, it's like a destination. Because there's
- 31:30Speaker 2: so many people out there that want to see as
- 31:32Speaker 2: many stadiums as humanly possible.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I do, yeah. I mean, I've talked to several
- 31:37Speaker 1: Kentucky fans over the years that they want to go
- 31:40Speaker 1: to every single stadium. away state, a stadium. You're talking
- 31:43Speaker 1: to a guy that wants to as well. And every
- 31:45Speaker 1: time they add another stadium, it's like, geez, I got
- 31:48Speaker 1: to go do another stadium. Now I'm just not used
- 31:51Speaker 1: to the whole Oklahoma and Texas being in the sec yet.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. I just, we've talked about
- 31:59Speaker 1: it before. What team should be out of the sec?
- 32:02Speaker 1: It's Missouri, but Oklahoma is right there. Missouri's one a,
- 32:06Speaker 1: and I think Oklahoma is one B. Do you consider
- 32:08Speaker 1: the state of Oklahoma in the South? very much so
- 32:12Speaker 1: do you really yeah oh i never did to me
- 32:15Speaker 1: it's west just like texas i mean i would i
- 32:19Speaker 1: consider texas south but it's more southwest to me not
- 32:22Speaker 1: south i don't consider it a southern state i.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Mean technically to you it's southwest yeah yeah i mean
- 32:27Speaker 2: it's southwest for me as well yeah but no i
- 32:31Speaker 2: mean what's what do we call the middle of.
- 32:33Speaker 1: The country central america Central America. I mean, what do
- 32:38Speaker 1: you want to say? That's what I would call it.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Oklahoma's kind of just in their own little purgatory out
- 32:43Speaker 1: in the middle. I mean, you look at him in Kansas.
- 32:45Speaker 1: You look at you. Oh, well, that that is very true.
- 32:49Speaker 1: You look at when you drive into Missouri and St. Louis,
- 32:53Speaker 1: it's you have the arch there. What does the arch
- 32:56Speaker 1: stand for? It stands for gateway to the West. It's like, well,
- 33:00Speaker 1: this is not the South then. I don't know. I
- 33:04Speaker 1: would consider Oklahoma South. You would? Yeah. I would never
- 33:08Speaker 1: consider it south. To me, it's western. But, I mean,
- 33:10Speaker 1: you're probably right. What do you call the middle of
- 33:12Speaker 1: the country? What do you call the middle of the country? Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Some of them don't really make sense. Like, why are we,
- 33:24Speaker 1: what do we call ourselves? What are we? To me,
- 33:26Speaker 1: Kentucky Southern. It's always been a southern state to me.
- 33:29Speaker 1: You know Kentucky's north of Oklahoma, right? Yes. But we
- 33:33Speaker 1: are south of Indiana.
- 33:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:35Speaker 1: But it's Western to me. I mean, it's in the
- 33:40Speaker 1: central part of the United States.
- 33:42Speaker 2: No, I mean, because the Western part, if you're considering
- 33:45Speaker 2: it Western, that can't be half of the United States.
- 33:48Speaker 1: No, exactly. So to me, Western does not start till Colorado.
- 33:54Speaker 1: I would agree with that. Yeah. Yeah.
- 33:56Speaker 2: And because the rest of it to the east of there,
- 33:59Speaker 2: it's got to be Central America.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Well, I mean, Central United States. There. How does that
- 34:04Speaker 1: make you feel? That sounds a little bit. All right.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Central United States. There. I can get behind that. And now, Chris,
- 34:10Speaker 1: you're going to upset me because I know what you're
- 34:11Speaker 1: going to say, but you consider Kentucky what kind of
- 34:13Speaker 1: a state? Not Midwest, I guess. See, there you go.
- 34:18Speaker 1: I knew you were going to upset me. But why
- 34:19Speaker 1: is it Midwest? Because it's. I don't understand why we're
- 34:23Speaker 1: considered Midwest. We are south of the Mason-Dixon line. That
- 34:26Speaker 1: is the drawing line of north and south. So we're
- 34:30Speaker 1: not Midwest. We are southern. I just always considered Kentucky
- 34:34Speaker 1: and Louisville southern. You can have that mindset all you want.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I'm never going to agree with you on that. Okay,
- 34:38Speaker 1: that's fine. If you consider Oklahoma not in the South,
- 34:42Speaker 1: Kentucky cannot be in the South. Kentucky is definitely in
- 34:45Speaker 1: the South. It's the way I believe and the way
- 34:47Speaker 1: my brain works, so it's right. Your brain's wrong. Yeah, well,
- 34:50Speaker 1: my brain's wrong a lot of times, but in my head,
- 34:53Speaker 1: it's right. So we got to take another break. I've
- 34:55Speaker 1: gone John Wong long every time today.
- 34:57Speaker 2: You can't say that anymore because he took his breaks
- 34:59Speaker 2: on time.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Evidently, I know. Listen, we got to talk about some
- 35:03Speaker 1: of the injuries that South Carolina is sustaining right now.
- 35:06Speaker 1: They're really injury-ridden right now. Riddled. And then you got
- 35:10Speaker 1: to talk about Will Wade. I know you were talking
- 35:12Speaker 1: about this like a month or so ago. Man, it's
- 35:15Speaker 1: coming to fruition now. And he's in some serious trouble.
- 35:19Speaker 1: We'll talk about that as well. Stay right there. More
- 35:21Speaker 1: of Just the Cats coming right up.
- 35:22Speaker 4: We'll be right back. We chase misprinted lies.
- 36:00Speaker 3: We face the path of time.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Wow, we're really going dark with this one. Don't blame
- 36:19Speaker 1: me for this. You started it. I did start it.
- 36:23Speaker 1: I'll take full responsibility, but I didn't go this dark.
- 36:27Speaker 1: My goodness. I didn't listen to the words. Is it
- 36:29Speaker 1: that dark? Well, I don't know if it is or not,
- 36:32Speaker 1: but it's just kind of a downer. I mean, yeah. Listen,
- 36:36Speaker 1: I'm listening to you sing one of the songs over
- 36:39Speaker 1: there a couple of minutes ago. One person texted in 5024141450.
- 36:44Speaker 1: I liked Mark Stoops. So did I. But the energy
- 36:49Speaker 1: this staff brings makes me excited every week. And see,
- 36:52Speaker 1: I agree with that. To me, it's what we needed.
- 36:55Speaker 1: But that wasn't. Honestly, that wasn't Mark Stoops style, was it?
- 37:01Speaker 1: I mean, the one thing he said that I think
- 37:03Speaker 1: got this, and I believe, if I'm correct, it was
- 37:06Speaker 1: after a South Carolina win. The whole thing where he
- 37:10Speaker 1: said on a post-game show, I'm just getting started, bro.
- 37:14Speaker 1: And I just, I just, you laugh, but that got
- 37:17Speaker 1: the whole fan base going nuts. And I just, I
- 37:21Speaker 1: love that. I like that kind of energy. And Texter,
- 37:24Speaker 1: you're exactly right. Every time this staff talks, And mainly,
- 37:29Speaker 1: Will Stein. I get real excited every time I'm with him.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Every time I'm around Will Stein, I get excited. You
- 37:36Speaker 1: can just tell he has a completely different mentality that
- 37:41Speaker 1: this entire team needed. And this university and this fan
- 37:45Speaker 1: base needed in the worst way. I kind of wish
- 37:48Speaker 1: at this point it kind of brushed off over on
- 37:50Speaker 1: the basketball side. Because I don't feel that way at all.
- 37:53Speaker 1: You know, we talked about it yesterday. It was just like, oh,
- 37:56Speaker 1: by the way, we're having media day for basketball this year.
- 37:59Speaker 1: It's going to be next week. Oh, by the way. Oh, yeah.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Big Boo Madness is happening this Friday. Oh, it's just
- 38:05Speaker 1: the excitement is just kind of being hidden. It feels like.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Are you.
- 38:11Speaker 2: I don't think I've asked you this yet, but are
- 38:13Speaker 2: you personally excited about basketball?
- 38:15Speaker 1: Not at all. What's your mindset going into this season?
- 38:19Speaker 1: You said it yesterday. You're kind of in football mode.
- 38:22Speaker 1: I'm more excited about football than I am basketball. Basketball
- 38:26Speaker 1: is like, okay, am I getting to a point where
- 38:28Speaker 1: I'm ready for a change? And I'm kind of getting
- 38:30Speaker 1: to that point. It's just like every time you turn around.
- 38:35Speaker 1: there's an injury. And we'll talk about that in a
- 38:37Speaker 1: couple of minutes. And every time you turn around, something
- 38:41Speaker 1: else is going on. It's just like everything's being hidden.
- 38:46Speaker 1: And we're famous for reporting that, oh, we got a
- 38:49Speaker 1: Zoom call with a player. It's like, who cares? I
- 38:53Speaker 1: don't know why. It's almost like UK media is getting
- 38:56Speaker 1: a little on the, at least some of them, not
- 38:59Speaker 1: all of them, but some are getting lazy. It's like, oh,
- 39:01Speaker 1: I got to report this. I want to be the
- 39:03Speaker 1: first one out to report that we got a Zoom
- 39:05Speaker 1: call with a player. You've heard me complain about this
- 39:08Speaker 1: so much. It's nauseous to me. Absolutely. Thank you. Ad
- 39:14Speaker 1: nauseum to me. It's like, who cares we have a
- 39:18Speaker 1: Zoom call? Tell me when they are committed to UK
- 39:22Speaker 1: to come here and play basketball. Then I'll get excited.
- 39:25Speaker 1: But until then, don't tell me anything else.
- 39:27Speaker 2: You know there's a lot of people though that live
- 39:29Speaker 2: for that stuff really that love recruiting love recruiting talk
- 39:33Speaker 2: love to hear potential guys that are maybe going to
- 39:36Speaker 2: come on campus yeah i mean there's there's a portion
- 39:38Speaker 2: of fans that love that stuff one person texted in
- 39:41Speaker 2: geography on just the cats is awesome Oklahoma is in
- 39:48Speaker 2: Central America along with Panama and Guatemala, I guess.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, Jamie, you make me laugh every day. Yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 1: Central America didn't sound right. I know, I know, but
- 40:05Speaker 1: you're right. I know it's down south there, but it's
- 40:08Speaker 1: down near Panama. But by the way, I've done the
- 40:12Speaker 1: Panama Canal. That was one of the coolest things I've
- 40:16Speaker 1: ever done in my life. Anyway. What do you mean?
- 40:19Speaker 1: Like you've rode through it? I rode a boat through
- 40:21Speaker 1: the Panama Canal. Yeah. That was wild. But yeah. Thinking
- 40:25Speaker 1: that it was man-made. You realize lots of people died
- 40:28Speaker 1: trying to make that canal. But yeah. Oklahoma should be
- 40:30Speaker 1: down there in Central America. But no. It's in Central
- 40:34Speaker 1: United States. You got north, you got south. So if
- 40:39Speaker 1: you go up to Illinois, do you call it north?
- 40:42Speaker 1: Because it's just as north as New York. No, I mean,
- 40:47Speaker 1: it's still Midwest. It's Midwest, okay. Which I still don't
- 40:52Speaker 1: understand how it's Midwest. It's northern Midwestern. Wouldn't Midwest be
- 40:57Speaker 1: like the... Wouldn't that be Colorado, Utah, Wyoming? Midwest? Yeah. Oh,
- 41:04Speaker 1: that's true. I didn't think about that. It's in the
- 41:06Speaker 1: west and it's in the middle. Yes. Because Illinois should
- 41:09Speaker 1: be north central United States. I can get behind that. Yeah.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Iowa should be central. Kansas should be central. Oklahoma should
- 41:17Speaker 1: be south central. Iowa would be north central too. Yeah. Yeah. Listen,
- 41:23Speaker 1: can you imagine what those universities would be called? North
- 41:27Speaker 1: Midwestern University State. It would be terrible. So, by the way,
- 41:32Speaker 1: speaking of terrible, Will Wade is in a lot of trouble.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I'm just going to tell you right now. I've tried
- 41:37Speaker 1: telling you. Yeah, and you know what? You called it.
- 41:40Speaker 1: I'm going to give you 1,000% of the credit because
- 41:43Speaker 1: you called it. Because I thought a lot of these
- 41:45Speaker 1: players would be approved now. Now he lost... Uh, the
- 41:49Speaker 1: 23 year old, uh, Marcio Santos, the center from Brazil,
- 41:53Speaker 1: who was also looking at UK and, you know, a
- 41:55Speaker 1: lot of people are criticizing, uh, Mark Pope for another
- 41:58Speaker 1: swing and miss might not be a big swing and
- 42:01Speaker 1: miss after all. Cause can you imagine if he had
- 42:04Speaker 1: committed to UK and then decided, nah, I'm going back
- 42:07Speaker 1: to Brazil. That would have been an even worse situation.
- 42:11Speaker 1: So you look at this and you think, okay, maybe
- 42:13Speaker 1: that was not that big of a deal. But now
- 42:16Speaker 1: for Will Wade, it is. Because he literally has only
- 42:19Speaker 1: four players right now. And one of them is Mo Diabata.
- 42:22Speaker 1: But there's no way he feels good about his decision.
- 42:25Speaker 1: That's my other question. Exactly. How disappointed is he right
- 42:30Speaker 1: now that he left UK and is now at LSU
- 42:33Speaker 1: where there's only– he is one of four players.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Better yet, do we think he has called Pope and, like,
- 42:38Speaker 2: been like, hey, can I come back maybe?
- 42:41Speaker 1: Is that allowed? You wonder. Because I would if I
- 42:46Speaker 1: were him. Well, would Mark Pope take him back? I mean, yeah,
- 42:49Speaker 1: you've got a roster spot to fill. You're not... all
- 42:52Speaker 1: that deep at the four spot, absolutely you would take
- 42:54Speaker 1: them back. Yeah. But how can they take them back?
- 42:57Speaker 1: School has been in session now for what, a month? Oh,
- 43:01Speaker 1: credits transfer. Oh, really? So it's okay to come back
- 43:04Speaker 1: and you've missed a month of classes and now you
- 43:07Speaker 1: can start. This is where calling it that these are
- 43:10Speaker 1: student athletes has just become a joke. Yeah, I mean,
- 43:12Speaker 1: they don't go to play school anymore. No, they don't.
- 43:15Speaker 1: I mean, we're four weeks out from the season starting
- 43:19Speaker 1: and Will Wade has four players. Are they going to
- 43:22Speaker 1: have open tryouts? They're going to have to. And I
- 43:25Speaker 1: was telling Dr. Wong this last week.
- 43:28Speaker 3: Dr.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Hung.
- 43:30Speaker 2: That might have been Monday. But it reminds me of
- 43:32Speaker 2: what Tom Crean had to do in his first year
- 43:35Speaker 2: at Indiana. He was getting guys off the street. I mean,
- 43:38Speaker 2: those guys were bums. Oh, my gosh. Those guys were bums.
- 43:45Speaker 1: I guess get ready for a 6-25 season if you're
- 43:48Speaker 1: an LSU fan. Not all I can say. You see
- 43:51Speaker 1: them winning any games?
- 43:52Speaker 2: Maybe an exhibition in whatever school that's not very good.
- 43:57Speaker 1: If Indiana won six games, they'll win some games. You
- 44:00Speaker 1: think so? Okay. This is deep, deep trouble for him
- 44:04Speaker 1: because he was relying on on the NCAA, allowing these
- 44:08Speaker 1: players to come in there. And, man, this is just
- 44:11Speaker 1: brutal for him.
- 44:12Speaker 2: And you love it? Why do you love it for him?
- 44:14Speaker 2: I just think it's hilarious. I mean, I've always liked
- 44:16Speaker 2: Will Wade. Yeah, I don't have any problems with Will Wade.
- 44:18Speaker 2: I mean, he's had the whole cheating stuff in the past.
- 44:21Speaker 2: So I just, I don't know. It kind of feels
- 44:23Speaker 2: like karma that he's not getting the team put together.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, it's just a crazy situation I never expected whatsoever. But, man,
- 44:32Speaker 1: credit to LSU athletic director. He's got to be. Somehow,
- 44:36Speaker 1: some way supporting this guy. And it's got to be
- 44:38Speaker 1: just brutally tough for all around. At least they got
- 44:42Speaker 1: Lane Kiffin, I guess. And football's doing okay, even though
- 44:46Speaker 1: they just got blown out by football. But, you know,
- 44:49Speaker 1: I predict that a lot of those Tiger fans are like, well,
- 44:52Speaker 1: why didn't we go after John Summerall? Yeah. Because that's
- 44:55Speaker 1: another thing that the Florida fans are thankful for. That's
- 44:58Speaker 1: been all over the place. Thankfully, we hired John Summerall
- 45:02Speaker 1: and not Lane Kiffin. We dodged a huge bullet. All right.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Hour two coming right up. Stay right there. Welcome to
- 45:28Speaker 1: Just the Cats with Michael Bennett. All right, hour number
- 45:35Speaker 1: two on this Wednesday. Hope everybody's having a great day.
- 45:40Speaker 1: 502-384-1450 you want to call. 502-414-1450 you want to text
- 45:45Speaker 1: in on the Whiskey Thief text line. This story coming
- 45:48Speaker 1: out of Auburn, Alabama might get crazier than it gets not.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Have you seen this? I don't guess so. Really? Okay.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Maybe I have. I don't know. A former Auburn football
- 46:01Speaker 1: assistant is in jail. Accused of leaking trade secrets to competitors.
- 46:10Speaker 1: So in other words, recruiting, how they recruit, who they're recruiting,
- 46:14Speaker 1: all kinds of stuff. He was giving to other schools.
- 46:18Speaker 1: That can get you jail time. Evidently, he was taking
- 46:23Speaker 1: it from computers and all kinds of files and all
- 46:26Speaker 1: kinds of stuff. Yeah, why wouldn't it? I mean, I
- 46:32Speaker 1: think it's a really dumb thing to do, but I
- 46:34Speaker 1: don't think it's jail-worthy. I think he was trying to
- 46:36Speaker 1: sell it. Oh. Then that's something different. The person he
- 46:40Speaker 1: was trying to sell it to, the school, turned him
- 46:43Speaker 1: into Auburn. Now, the guy is from Franklin, Tennessee, which
- 46:47Speaker 1: is a suburb of Nashville. A nice suburb of Nashville. Yes.
- 46:51Speaker 1: So does that make you think that he deep down
- 46:55Speaker 1: inside is a Tennessee fan? And he was probably trying
- 47:00Speaker 1: to take the information to UT to give it to them.
- 47:04Speaker 1: I'm going Vanderbilt, actually. Vanderbilt? Vanderbilt's been really good. We
- 47:08Speaker 1: couldn't explain it last year. Only thing it was. Yeah,
- 47:12Speaker 1: you could. Diego Pavia. No, why do you think he
- 47:15Speaker 1: was so good? Because he was getting information from old
- 47:17Speaker 1: Vanderbilt fans. About Auburn? I mean, nobody cares about. Auburn
- 47:23Speaker 1: is a threat to no one anymore. And they haven't
- 47:26Speaker 1: been a threat to anyone in a while. They're okay
- 47:30Speaker 1: this year. They're okay, but, I mean, that's with a
- 47:33Speaker 1: brand-new coach that came from South Florida. If your cats
- 47:36Speaker 1: played them, they'd be a threat. You think so? I do. Okay.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Where have you turned now as far as UK winning
- 47:46Speaker 1: games this season?
- 47:47Speaker 2: It's probably going to be like 12.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Really? I mean, I don't– like, it's crazy because I
- 47:54Speaker 1: don't– after that Texas A & M win– You just
- 47:57Speaker 1: look at the rest of the schedule and you're like,
- 47:58Speaker 1: you could beat everybody left other than maybe LSU or
- 48:02Speaker 1: that game at Tennessee. Yeah. So, I mean, realistically. No, no, no, no, no.
- 48:06Speaker 1: You left one off. No, no, no, no. Florida. That
- 48:10Speaker 1: game's in Lexington. It is in Lexington. You're right. I
- 48:13Speaker 1: think you can win that. Really? Why not? You won
- 48:17Speaker 1: at Texas A & M. I think that game's tougher
- 48:19Speaker 1: than any game out there that we're going to have
- 48:21Speaker 1: the rest of the season.
- 48:22Speaker 2: I don't necessarily disagree with that.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. But I saw the story. It's like, holy cow, man.
- 48:28Speaker 1: First of all, why would anybody, why would you think about, well,
- 48:31Speaker 1: you know what? I think I'm going to sell this
- 48:33Speaker 1: stuff to somebody else. I just don't, I don't understand.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Just needed some cashflow. Well, clearly he did. And then
- 48:39Speaker 1: Auburn wasn't paying him enough, but, uh, That was just
- 48:43Speaker 1: a wild story. The other one was Urban Meyer. He
- 48:48Speaker 1: came out with a comment about the Texas player, Colin Simmons,
- 48:51Speaker 1: that came out to do that pea celebration. Said he
- 48:54Speaker 1: should be suspended. Urban Meyer. It's Rich coming from Urban Meyer. Yeah,
- 49:02Speaker 1: that's kind of, he was getting really blasted for that comment.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I listen. I mean, if he was Mr. Squeaky clean,
- 49:09Speaker 1: maybe I buy into that a little bit more, but
- 49:11Speaker 1: he's certainly had his issues along the way. Absolutely. I
- 49:15Speaker 1: looked at it and think, okay, suspended is a bit
- 49:18Speaker 1: of a stretch. I mean, we didn't the SEC didn't
- 49:22Speaker 1: suspend that player that did the whole dog thing the
- 49:24Speaker 1: Ole Miss Mississippi State game uh and for him it
- 49:28Speaker 1: was pretty graphic what the the player did Colin Simmons
- 49:32Speaker 1: for Texas it was it was classless But does it
- 49:36Speaker 1: deserve suspension? I think that's a bit strong. Agreed. I
- 49:41Speaker 1: think that the penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct was enough. Now,
- 49:46Speaker 1: the player from South Carolina that hit the Alabama player, yeah,
- 49:51Speaker 1: that's deserved. Dylan Stewart. Agreed. Yeah. He deserved that. Now,
- 49:56Speaker 1: was one game enough to you?
- 49:58Speaker 3: Yes.
- 49:59Speaker 1: See, I think it should have been more. I think
- 50:01Speaker 1: it should have been at least two games. I mean,
- 50:02Speaker 1: he didn't, like, put him in a chokehold and slam
- 50:05Speaker 1: him to the ground. No, but he hit him as
- 50:06Speaker 1: hard as he could. With his helmet on. Yeah, which
- 50:09Speaker 1: was dumb. Again, I just don't get that.
- 50:12Speaker 2: I mean, now if old buddy on the receiving end
- 50:14Speaker 2: of that was, like, concussed and he had to miss out.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Here's what we talked about. I guess this was on
- 50:20Speaker 2: Spears earlier this week. When you've got a suspension like this,
- 50:24Speaker 2: like I think we were talking about the Dante Moore hit,
- 50:27Speaker 2: which did you see that, that he took over the weekend?
- 50:29Speaker 3: Yes.
- 50:29Speaker 1: As he was sliding down? Exactly. Yes, I want to
- 50:33Speaker 1: talk about something else about that too. So the defender
- 50:36Speaker 1: who hit him, he should be suspended for as long
- 50:39Speaker 1: as Dante Moore can't play. Ooh, that's a good penalty.
- 50:43Speaker 2: So if you're this Dylan Stewart guy and you punch
- 50:45Speaker 2: this Alabama kid and he's heavily concussed and can't play
- 50:49Speaker 2: for two weeks, Dylan Stewart shouldn't be able to play
- 50:51Speaker 2: for two weeks.
- 50:52Speaker 1: Well, did you see that player for Southern Cal that
- 50:54Speaker 1: went to, and he went to the sidelines, he was
- 50:57Speaker 1: smiling about it? Yeah. And then the other part was,
- 51:00Speaker 1: did you see the Southern Cal radio announcers that were
- 51:04Speaker 1: debating that, well, he didn't put his feet first, he
- 51:08Speaker 1: went head first? It's like, well, wait, wait. And then
- 51:10Speaker 1: his partner there said, no, he went head first. And
- 51:14Speaker 1: then he started making facial expressions to the camera.
- 51:18Speaker 4: Hmm.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Have you not seen that? I didn't see that. Oh,
- 51:21Speaker 1: that's hilarious. You need to go back and watch that
- 51:23Speaker 1: because a lot of people have been talking about that
- 51:26Speaker 1: because the play-by-play guy was clearly wrong. If you go back. Now, granted,
- 51:33Speaker 1: it was a terrible slide. Yeah, it wasn't the best. No,
- 51:37Speaker 1: it was not a good slide. He's not a baseball player, though. Well,
- 51:40Speaker 1: obviously he's not. But, man, the color guy was just, like,
- 51:44Speaker 1: making all these kind of expressions. Yeah, he did. Then
- 51:48Speaker 1: he'd look straight into the camera and just kind of
- 51:50Speaker 1: do his eyes. It's like, this guy's an idiot. And
- 51:53Speaker 1: I agree with him. It's like, what were you watching? Yes,
- 51:56Speaker 1: he did try to slide, and he went feet first. So, anyway,
- 52:01Speaker 1: I just thought that was a dirty play. Oh, clearly
- 52:04Speaker 1: it was a dirty play. Yeah, there was all kinds
- 52:06Speaker 1: of crazy stuff in college football that happened this weekend.
- 52:10Speaker 1: It was almost too much to talk about. But one
- 52:13Speaker 1: person texted, John texted in, the injury stuff was happening
- 52:17Speaker 1: before Coach Pope got into the head coaching position. You
- 52:20Speaker 1: might need to hire new strength and conditioning coaches. Also,
- 52:23Speaker 1: the coaches do maybe need to stop taking flyers on
- 52:28Speaker 1: guys who have actively shown to be injury prone. I
- 52:32Speaker 1: agree with that. I would put the blame on them there.
- 52:36Speaker 1: One last thing to be honest with you, Kentucky basketball
- 52:39Speaker 1: with the roster as it has, as it is, has
- 52:43Speaker 1: a better chance to win the national championship than our
- 52:46Speaker 1: college football team does. So I'm definitely excited to keep
- 52:49Speaker 1: watching football, but I'm definitely looking forward towards college basketball.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Way to step out on a limb there, John. Holy smokes.
- 52:59Speaker 2: Because of the Kentucky basketball and the better chance to
- 53:02Speaker 2: win a title than Kentucky football.
- 53:04Speaker 1: You're making fun of my buddy John now. Be careful.
- 53:07Speaker 1: I love John, but that is a no-duh type of comment. Minchie.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Joe Montana and Patrick Mahomes, man. That is the greatest
- 53:19Speaker 1: list of quarterbacks ever to be put together on a picture. So, yeah,
- 53:25Speaker 1: those are three great quarterbacks right there. I love John,
- 53:29Speaker 1: but he does go a little too far sometimes. But anyway,
- 53:32Speaker 1: injury is a problem. I mean, Trent Noah, you know,
- 53:36Speaker 1: with a hamstring, will miss all the exhibition games. You
- 53:39Speaker 1: got Cam Williams. He should be back in time for
- 53:43Speaker 1: regular season. Same thing. We'll miss all the exhibition games
- 53:47Speaker 1: with his foot injury. You got the Milan Momchilovic with
- 53:53Speaker 1: the finger. He's expected to play. And then you got
- 53:57Speaker 1: the news of Jerome Morton, who's out indefinitely because of
- 54:04Speaker 1: his knee.
- 54:05Speaker 4: And.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I mean, it's just unbelievable. They said, because that's the
- 54:12Speaker 1: way that Mark Pope started the media day the other day.
- 54:15Speaker 1: He's going to be reevaluated in a few weeks. He
- 54:19Speaker 1: can't make the excuse of injuries anymore, can he? I mean,
- 54:26Speaker 1: we're going to have injuries every single year. Is it
- 54:29Speaker 1: Mark Pope's fault? Is it strength and conditioning fault? I mean,
- 54:35Speaker 1: what is it? What is going on with Mark Pope
- 54:38Speaker 1: and injuries?
- 54:40Speaker 2: So I've got two theories, and I don't think this
- 54:42Speaker 2: is just a Mark Pope thing. I think this is
- 54:43Speaker 2: across the board. My first one is... Across the board
- 54:47Speaker 2: meaning what? Like every school. I mean, every school deals
- 54:49Speaker 2: with injuries throughout the season.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Exactly, they do. Yes. My thing is, I.
- 54:55Speaker 2: Have heard in the past, which makes sense to me,
- 54:58Speaker 2: that you've got all these players that aren't playing multiple
- 55:01Speaker 2: sports growing up anymore they're just they're specializing in one.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Sport yes i've heard this before which if you go
- 55:08Speaker 1: out and you play different sports you're obviously going to
- 55:09Speaker 1: use different muscles you're gonna like you'll just be in
- 55:12Speaker 1: much better shape overall going into to basketball if you're
- 55:16Speaker 1: a multi-sport athlete right now the way that parents are
- 55:20Speaker 1: parenting their kids they want them to specialize in a
- 55:23Speaker 1: sport which makes sense if you want them to get
- 55:25Speaker 1: to the highest level you got to start them out
- 55:26Speaker 1: super young playing a particular sport, but that's, so I
- 55:30Speaker 1: don't know if there's any scientific like stuff behind that.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I haven't read anything about that. Yeah.
- 55:37Speaker 2: I haven't read anything about that, but the other theory
- 55:39Speaker 2: I've got is something that I heard Dan Issel talk about.
- 55:43Speaker 2: I mean, two, three years ago.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Yes.
- 55:46Speaker 2: And he basically brought up the fact that when he
- 55:49Speaker 2: was playing, there wasn't a lot of injuries. So he
- 55:53Speaker 2: blames all the injuries today for, on the weightlifting and
- 55:57Speaker 2: the just the workouts that these players are going through
- 56:00Speaker 2: because they didn't Dan Issel back in the day they
- 56:03Speaker 2: didn't lift weights like they do now in today's day
- 56:05Speaker 2: and age and I get the game has changed and
- 56:08Speaker 2: there's probably a need to lift weights and get stronger
- 56:11Speaker 2: bigger better faster whatever you got to do to make
- 56:14Speaker 2: that happen But when he came out and said that,
- 56:17Speaker 2: I started thinking, okay, well, maybe he's on to something.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Maybe you're just putting too much pressure on your body
- 56:23Speaker 2: and on those muscles. And ultimately, while you think you're
- 56:27Speaker 2: making them stronger, maybe you're making them weaker. Well, that's
- 56:30Speaker 2: what they say about baseball pitchers as well. The major
- 56:34Speaker 2: league pitchers back in the day did not have the
- 56:37Speaker 2: injuries that they sustain today.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you've got– dozens of pitchers every year
- 56:41Speaker 1: that need Tommy John. Exactly. And they say it's because
- 56:48Speaker 1: they don't pitch them as long as they used to.
- 56:50Speaker 1: So they're not pitching. seven, eight, nine innings an entire game.
- 56:54Speaker 1: They're pitching four or five innings, and that's it.
- 56:57Speaker 2: And you have guys back in the day throwing 170
- 57:00Speaker 2: pitches in a game.
- 57:01Speaker 4: Right.
- 57:01Speaker 1: And now they're sitting out for days on end, then
- 57:03Speaker 1: coming back to pitch a game for just four or
- 57:05Speaker 1: five innings, and that's it. Sitting them out another seven
- 57:08Speaker 1: or eight days. It's like they don't pitch them as
- 57:10Speaker 1: much as they used to. So this reasoning that Dan
- 57:14Speaker 1: Issel makes makes all the sense in the world. But
- 57:18Speaker 1: I would think lifting would help, though. I mean, that's
- 57:22Speaker 1: not not sustain injuries. Is that am I wrong about that?
- 57:26Speaker 1: I guess it depends on what type of lifting you're doing.
- 57:30Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, playing multiple sports, I can understand.
- 57:34Speaker 1: I think that does hurt players when they're only concentrating
- 57:37Speaker 1: on one sport.
- 57:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but I do think I mean, I do think
- 57:41Speaker 2: there's a need for lifting now in today's game, whereas
- 57:44Speaker 2: you didn't necessarily have to do it. You could get
- 57:46Speaker 2: away with speed and finesse. playing basketball back in those days.
- 57:51Speaker 2: But my thing is, is why do we see– now
- 57:54Speaker 2: I will make it Kentucky-centric. Why– Why are there so
- 57:59Speaker 2: many more injuries to the basketball team than we see
- 58:03Speaker 2: on football side?
- 58:04Speaker 1: Oh, exactly. Football's a more violent game tenfold. I don't
- 58:08Speaker 1: know why. And they paid four games, and Kentucky basketball
- 58:11Speaker 1: hadn't played a single game yet. Exactly.
- 58:13Speaker 2: And now you have had your guys go down for Kentucky.
- 58:15Speaker 2: There's a couple that may not play this week. But,
- 58:18Speaker 2: I mean, other than that, it's... It feels like all
- 58:21Speaker 2: the football injuries we've seen have been minor.
- 58:24Speaker 1: I don't get. Yes, exactly. They have been minor. Thank goodness.
- 58:27Speaker 1: And it's about time. Knock on wood. It's about time.
- 58:30Speaker 1: It's this way because it seems like every year we've
- 58:32Speaker 1: lost the last few years with Mark Stoops. We would
- 58:36Speaker 1: lose a major player before the season even started. And
- 58:39Speaker 1: thank goodness that hasn't really happened now. So what is it?
- 58:43Speaker 1: I mean, is it strength and conditioning? Is that who
- 58:46Speaker 1: you blame? Is it something else entirely that we haven't
- 58:49Speaker 1: even thought about? Josh texted in, 5024141450, said, these kids
- 58:51Speaker 1: are too damn overworked. Waits, AAU, summer league, pickup ball,
- 58:58Speaker 1: same reason kids are getting Tommy Johnsters at 16 and
- 59:01Speaker 1: 17 years old. Is that what it is? Is that
- 59:04Speaker 1: part of it? They're just playing too much sports and
- 59:07Speaker 1: not taking enough time to heal.
- 59:10Speaker 2: I can see that being the case. I mean, look,
- 59:13Speaker 2: professional athletes, when they're done with a workout and games
- 59:16Speaker 2: and all that, they're hopping in ice baths. They're getting massages.
- 59:19Speaker 2: They're using those massage guns. I mean, they're, they are
- 59:22Speaker 2: taking care of their body. These kids, probably aren't doing that.
- 59:26Speaker 2: When they're done with their AAU games, their eighth one
- 59:29Speaker 2: of the week or whatever, mom, can we go to McDonald's? Yeah, sure,
- 59:32Speaker 2: no problem. I mean, there's certain ways you got to
- 59:35Speaker 2: care for yourself, and I don't imagine that these kids
- 59:38Speaker 2: are doing the best job at that, which they shouldn't
- 59:40Speaker 2: be expected to because they don't know. They're just kids, right?
- 59:45Speaker 2: I mean, you got to have somebody in your ear
- 59:48Speaker 2: teaching you about all this stuff. But I just look
- 59:50Speaker 2: at the way that professional athletes treat their bodies versus–
- 59:54Speaker 2: what the kids are doing nowadays, and it's night and day.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Yeah, completely. And because, you know, Tom Brady, didn't he
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: do that weird thing where he would not eat meat
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: at all during the season? Wesley Woodyard did that. And
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: they swore up and down. Wesley Woodyard told me that
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: he thinks that the reason he didn't eat meat, he
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: healed a lot quicker, and it kept him from sustaining
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: any kind of injury. From not eating meat. Healing power
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: of lettuce, baby. Does that make it? I don't know.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Does the healing power in lettuce really do something like that?
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't think. I've done it one time.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Have you ever done it to where you did not
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: eat meat? I did it for 30 days. No.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: One of the toughest things ever done in my life.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: I don't think I could. I don't want to do
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: it again. I would miss bacon too much.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: My wife has a friend. She does not eat meat
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: at all. And so she swears up and down. It's
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: what's kept her so healthy for so many years. And
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I just can't do it. I mean, I could probably
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: give up. I think I can give up steak. I
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: could probably give up steak. I'd miss my ribs. So
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: could I give up pork? I'd miss burgers. Yeah, that's
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: probably it right there. I would miss a hamburger. I mean,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: there's nothing better than having a big, thick, juicy medium
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: rare hamburger but i only thing i couldn't give up
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: is seafood i think i could give up everything else
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: if i had to give up everything plus seafood man
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: that would be one of the toughest things i mean
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: that's not a life worth living exactly i mean i'm
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: at a point in my life what difference does it
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: make exactly i'm married i don't have to worry about
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: any girls looking at me no but girls gonna listen
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: i look at girls today i'm invisible to them They
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: don't pay attention to me. Yeah.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: I mean, I got this exact same mindset. I mean,
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: we only, that's the thing. You only get one life.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Live it the way that makes you happy.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Yes. I'm at that point. I want to live the
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: way I'm happy.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: We're all going to perish at some point from something
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: or another anyways. Just do what makes you happy. At
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: what age do you think you should just say, I'm done.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: My life is fulfilled. I now can eat anything I want.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: Mine started when I was born.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Oh, come on. Really? Yeah. I think when you turn 80,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: at that point, you can just say, screw it, I'm
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: going to eat everything and anything I want. Well, I'm
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: a little premature because I'm only 36. Exactly. I might
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: start smoking cigars. I might start smoking anything out there
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: and just say, listen, I've been there. I wouldn't suggest
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: smoking anything out there. Really? Some of it will kill you.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: At that point, you're going to die anyway. That's true.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Who cares? If the doctor came to you today and said, Justin,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: you've got a year to live. Would you go out
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: there and just have all the ice cream, all the
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: fried food, smoke whatever you want, drink whatever you want?
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Wouldn't you just want to go out on a high that, hey,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I tried everything in life? All I know is if
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I got that news, my family would be screwed. Why?
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: Because I would take out so many freaking loans. I
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: would be on vacation every week.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Are you serious? Oh, yeah. The bank's not going to
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: give you any money. They'd be real mad when I pass.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: All right, then. Well, we got to take another break.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: When we come back, we do have to talk about
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: some of the injuries that the Gamecocks are sustaining right now.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: Is that good for you, Kay? We'll see. I'm not
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: comfortable about this game. I wish I was. And then
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: somebody took off from the– practice facility somewhere and flew
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: back to his home. I want to talk about that too. So, uh,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: plus LSU UK, it's going to be a fun night.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: We'll talk about that as well. Stay right there. More
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: just the cats coming right up. I'm crazy, crazy.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: I'm the boy Who defies all.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Yeah 502-414-1450. You want to call, text in on the
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Whiskey Thief text line. John here again for a third time.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I do not take it as making fun of my
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: comment from Justin. However, Justin, you know how it is.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: We get a few wins in college football and then
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: people start dogging Coach Pope and start acting like fair
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: weather fans. Then they start acting like Kentucky basketball is
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: a third world country. Sorry, but not sorry. just trying
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: to keep it realistic for everyone. Maybe I'll be wrong,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: and the football cats will win it all, and it'll
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: still be happy and still be waiting for national championship
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: in college basketball. Plus, unlike the state of Indiana, no
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: matter the success, Kentucky will always be the true state
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: of basketball, and Kentucky basketball will always be the mecca.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: Of college basketball. Oh, now you're taking shots at my state, John.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: Which is also your stage.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: John's coming after you today. I like it. And I'm
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: loving this. Well done, John. I think you should come
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: after Justin more often, so good luck with that. By
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: the way, I don't know if you saw this or not,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: but you know Otega Owe is playing for Oklahoma City, remember? Mm-hmm.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: And somebody asked him yesterday, which I thought was kind
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: of weird. It's like, why are you asking right now?
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: They're not playing yet. So, you know, UK's going over
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: there to Oklahoma to play Oklahoma. And a reporter asked
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: O-Way yesterday who he'll be supporting since, you know, Otega
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: played for Oklahoma. I'll get it right in a minute.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Oklahoma and UK. Okay. And then he goes, well, I
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: will be supporting somebody, but I'm not going to tell
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you who it is right now. And I'm like, okay,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: what's wrong with saying right now who you're going to
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: be rooting for? Clearly he's going to root for UK.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: He didn't like his time at Oklahoma. I'm right about that,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: aren't I? I'm almost certain I am. I don't know.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I don't remember hearing anything that he had a miserable
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: time there or anything. Oh, it would be miserable. Can
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: you imagine? To me, that would be one of the
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: worst days to live in is Oklahoma. I don't disagree
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: with that. Yeah, thank you. Although, with the way you
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: and I like storms, we would probably enjoy it. Oh,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: that's true. Well, only a certain time of the year. Yeah.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: But didn't I read an article not too long ago
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: that that's starting to change more to the south and
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: the east where those storms are coming more towards The
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Indiana-Kentucky area? Yeah, we're part of Tornado Alley now. Yeah,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: how crazy is that? But I don't know. I thought
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: it was not a timely question. Now, if it was
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Oklahoma playing Kentucky this weekend, I think that's when you
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: ask the question. Not now. A few weeks ahead of time. Yeah,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: it doesn't really make sense. It didn't make any sense
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: to me. Were they asking him about football, I assume? Yes,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: they were asking about football. He doesn't even care, probably.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I don't know. I think he cares about UK football,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: even though he played for UK basketball. I think he
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: cares about it. He's just trying to make the fans
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: not give him a hard time because he's playing in
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Oklahoma City now. It's just a dumb question. I don't know.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I just had a problem with the question.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: I do, too, because it's not like I just I
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: really don't think Otago cares one way or the other
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: with football.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: Now, when they play in basketball and they ask him
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: that question, then I'm more interested in what his answer
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: would be, because I feel like he actually has a
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: dog in the fight. Yeah. Or two dogs in the fight, really. Yeah,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: probably so. You know, there's been more video release of
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: that ball boy on the NFL game between the Jaguars
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: and who was the other team? Was that the Patriots?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: Who were the Jaguars playing? Yeah, Patriots. Yeah. And so
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: one of the Jaguars employees was asking for the ball,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: and he's still refusing to give the ball to them,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: which I think is just the dumb. What is wrong
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: with this guy? Seriously, you know, we talked about it yesterday.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I'm trying to understand what is the big deal that
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: he won't give a football to them and knowing that
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: the player, that was his first NFL interception. Apparently he
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: was a Patriots guy. He is a Patriots guy. Yeah.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: By the way, speaking of that whole situation, you know
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: what I learned yesterday? What? That blew my mind. Did
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: you know Josh Allen, Joshua Hines Allen, you know his
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: sister is Myesha, who played basketball at Louisville? No, I
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: had no idea. And is now part of the Indiana Fever? Oh, really?
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: That's crazy. I had no idea that that was his
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: sister until yesterday. Wow, really? What a family. How does
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: one go to Kentucky and one goes to Louisville? How
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: does that work? I don't know. I don't have a
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: problem with that. I mean, my dad grew up a
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: huge University of Tennessee fan because he grew up in Nashville.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: He was big, big buddies with one of the former
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: head coaches, Johnny Majors. And then my brother ends up
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: going to Kentucky. So I probably bothered my dad at first,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: but he got over it. And when they fired Johnny
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Majors and brought Fulmer in, he's like, I'm done with Tennessee.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: I'm going to be a Kentucky fan now. I always
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: thought he was still a little bit of a Tennessee fan,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: but I don't know. If one of my kids goes
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: to another school, I would have rooted for him. I mean,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: my dad did. Yeah. So that makes sense. Yeah. Your
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: dad's a Kentucky fan, and you're an IU fan. So
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: he had to deal with you going to IU. I
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: don't know. I'd support you. He started watching Indiana. Oh,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: he did? Maybe because he knew I'd be in the crowd, but... Yeah. No,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: I don't know if I'd go that far. I mean, Pepperdine,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: that's where my oldest son went. They weren't known for
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: much other than golf, volleyball, and maybe a little bit
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: of basketball. But we didn't get to see Pepperdine play much.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: I became more of a Tulane fan because that's where
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: my youngest son went, and they had football. We'd go
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: down there for football games, and they were actually a
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: lot of fun. Man, their tailgates were awesome. I bet. Yeah. And,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: of course, John Summerall was the head coach. That was
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: a lot of fun. But that wasn't a real competitor
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: to UK or a rival or anything like that. Now,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I do like this. This is UK's first use of
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: the power case since September 13th, 1975.
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: Whoa, that long?
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: That's how long it's been. Now, the Gamecocks are hurting
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: a little bit defensively with injuries. Of course, they're going
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: to be losing Dylan Stewart like we were talking about
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: a little bit ago since he's suspended for the one game.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: They've got a defensive tackle named Kelly Collins that's out.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: He's questionable. I shouldn't say out. He's got an eye injury.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Then they have a linebacker that is probable. But he
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: didn't play the Alabama game, so you wonder what's going
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: to happen there. His name's Sean Murphy, and they did
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: not say what the injury is, but he only played
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: one play against Alabama. Then he got defensive tackle Gabrielle Brownlow,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: who's also questionable, too. His name's Gabrielle Brownlow Dindy. Probably Gabriel.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: Probably what? Gabriel. Oh, is that what I say? Gabrielle. Okay, well,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: it's just. I feel like Gabriel. I like Gabriel. Like
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: the girl version. No, that's exactly. That is. I think
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: that was appropriate. So, Gabriel. I mean, if he's only
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: playing one play, then, yeah, maybe it should be.
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: No, that's the other guy. This guy, he has an
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: upper body injury, and he didn't play against Alabama at all. So,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: you wonder. Because part of me is like, okay, protect
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: your heart. Protect your heart. Be prepared for a loss.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: But if you look at this, UK should win this game.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: They should. Yeah. Without any doubt. I agree. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: the lines actually went up from yesterday. It's at three now. Oh,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: it did? It was down to two and a half.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Now it's back up to three? I'm trying to figure
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: out who's the moron out there betting South Carolina. Just
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: don't get it. I want you to be that moron, okay?
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I want you to be that guy. If
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: you cover the bed, I'll do it. Oh, no, no, no.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: It doesn't count. When you do something like that, it
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: doesn't count, and you're going to lose my money. I'm
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: not doing it because I believe in the cats. You do?
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I think they should win this game. I'm with you. Yeah. Well,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: they did announce what they're going to wear. They're going
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: to wear the all-white, but something different, and that's the
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: chrome helmets with the all-white. Chrome domes? Yes, the chrome domes.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I love those helmets. We know. Okay, sorry. I'm not
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: going to apologize for that. I love those things. You
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: go goo-goo for Gaga every time they're brought up. I do,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: but I like them more with the royal blue uniform
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: than the all white. I think the all white goes
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: with the all white helmet. Have you seen them with
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: the all white? The chrome helmets? Yeah. Just a picture
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: of them. No, I mean, have you seen them with
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: the white jersey?
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: No.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Okay, then hold your reservations until you do. Okay, all right. Well,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: just a picture, but I mean, I don't know. Maybe
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: you'd see it on Saturday and you're like, oh, I
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: love this. Well, the white is a good uniform for UK.
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: That's what beat... Texas A & M, but it was
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: with a different helmet, though. I believe in that guy. Oh, yes,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: that's exactly right. You're feeling superstitious about this. You're digging
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: right on being superstitious. Okay. I'll always be superstitious about that.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: When I was still going to the games as a fan,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: I would wear the exact same stuff every single week
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: until they lost. It never worked. Never. But at least
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I tried. Now, UK versus LSU. They announced the kickoff
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: time is going to be 7 p.m. I like that.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: It's October. It should be at night. Everybody goes to Keeneland.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: They'll have a big day at Keeneland, then come back,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: and they get the Power K that night for LSU. Listen,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I'm going to be goo-goo about this. I'm all about
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: the Power K stuff. I think it's great. Boy, the
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: text line has been really quiet today. It has. I
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: don't know why. Really all week. Has it really? All
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: week it's been quiet? I feel like it, yeah. I
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: wonder why. What's going on with the text line?
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: Everybody's so tired. Is it something we're doing here? Louder
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: than life, bourbon and beer. Oh, you think it's that.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: They're just all exhausted.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: I mean, it is a bit of a downer when
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: you had all the stuff going on here the last
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: couple of weeks. Between Churchill Downs and you got that
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: other school having a football game. And then you got
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Louder Than Life and bourbon and beer. Bourbon and beyond.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: And it is a bit of a downer when stuff like,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: like Derby week, the next week is always a bit
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: of a downer. And I've, I've never, well, I do understand.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: You got all the attention across, not just the cross
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: country around the world. Everybody knows the Kentucky Derby. And
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: then you get everything going on. The city's hopping, just
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: like with bourbon and beyond and louder than life cities
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: really hopping. And then all of a sudden it's a
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: bit of a downer. You're right. By the way, did
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: you see what Bourbon and Beyond's doing? No.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: They have started dropping bourbon from all their advertising.
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: What?
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: All their signage. Why?
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: It's literally named Bourbon and Beyond. Yeah, I don't know
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: if it's they're just one.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Because they still, they came out and they said that
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: bourbon's always going to be a big part of this festival.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: But yeah, they just, they changed everything to and beyond.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Hardly anything says bourbon anymore.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: That's weird. It is weird. I mean, that to me
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: would be the reason for having this festival because it's
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: literally called Bourbon and Beyond. Are we just now advertising
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: only the Beyond? I've always wondered what does the Beyond
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: mean anyway? I think that's up for interpretation. It is.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: Depends on how you take in the festival. Well, you know,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: I drove past what's it's called Crittenden, you know, the
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: road down there by the airport. I drove past Crittenden
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: on the way down to Churchill. And you see all
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: the people camping out there. And it's like these people
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: really enjoy it so much that they want to camp
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: this part of town. I can't imagine camping there. I
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: don't know any better. Evidently, they don't. I mean, I just,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't, I love the festivals, but
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: I just, I would never find myself wanting to literally
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: camp there. I'd go find a hotel and then. I mean,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: it's probably a lot cheaper to camp. Oh, I'm sure
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: it is. I don't know what the price is. And
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: the amount of money you're spending on tickets and then
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: food and drink once you get in there. Well, that
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: part's true. You've got to save some money somewhere. Or
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: maybe you have to deal with a situation like the
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: hotel in Jeffersonville, which had a sign up on the
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: door that said you can't come in. Despite you having
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: a reservation. Sorry about you. What do you mean?
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: I didn't hear about this. You didn't see that? No,
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: I missed this completely. Remember, I was out of town. So, yeah,
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: it was one of the hotels in Jeffersonville. I don't
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: remember which one. Maybe the Sheraton Hotel. But they put
- 1:17:32Speaker 2: a sign up on the door basically saying we can't
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: accommodate any more reservations due to staff shortage or something
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: along those lines. And so there were people that had
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: reservations for that hotel that could not get in, and
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: they had to try to make other arrangements. They called corporate.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: Corporate basically was like, yeah, sorry, nothing we can do
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: about it.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: It is what it is. So did they give everyone
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: their money back if they had a guaranteed reservation? I
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: would assume they would have had to. Man, I call
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: lawsuit on that. That's ridiculous. It doesn't matter if you
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: don't have enough staff or not. Just say, hey, we
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: don't have enough staff. We won't be able to clean
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: your room until after you check out. And let them
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: stay there. That's ridiculous. It had to be something more
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: than that. Maybe they didn't have a breakfast attendant or
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: somebody at the front desk. Because they would let you
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: in if they couldn't clean your room. That's no problem. Okay.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: One person said, UK is wearing blue pants with their
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: chrome helmets and white jerseys. Thank you. I appreciate that.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: You're right about that. It's not all white. Yeah. So
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: that changes a little. Listen, I like that. I like
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: that more. Yeah, it does change it. I'll say it
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: right now. It does change it. So anyway. uh Patrick
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: texted out and said uh I'm not exhausted from those
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: festivals I'm just busier with work yeah Some people are
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: busy with work, Michael. I'm good with that. Will they
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: add infinity to the beyond? Well done, Patrick. That's a
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: fair question. Should they add the infinity? Yeah, make the
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: logo Buzz Lightyear? Why not? I think that would cost
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: a lot of money. Could they do it to where
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: it's a Buzz Lightyear-like animation? Or would they get in
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: trouble for that? Probably get in trouble for that. Is
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: there any good movies out right now? You talk about squirreling.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Never mind. I don't watch movies, so I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: you don't. I mean, I don't even know why I'm
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: asking you. All right. We got to take our last break.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: 502-414-1450 if you dare texting. I'd appreciate it. We'll see
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: you in a minute.
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: Showing pictures of mountaintops with him on top lemon yellow
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: sun arms raising feet deadly in pools of 5 0
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: 2 4 1 4 14 50.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: We're on our last segment on this Wednesday. I don't
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: know if you saw it or not, but man, it was,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: it was crazy amount of people that watch the Texas
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Tennessee game. Almost 10 million people watched that game. Yeah,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: pretty nuts. That was nuts. The battle between the UTs.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: After that was Ole Miss, Florida. I don't think that's
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: much of a surprise. But the one that was surprising
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: to me, so Florida and Ole Miss was 8.3, which
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: was a good game. I mean, to me it was–
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: I hate to say it was the better game, but
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: I enjoyed it more than the Tennessee-Texas game. Agreed. But
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: the one that's really surprised, the third ranked one was
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Texas A & M and LSU. Was 5.7 million people
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: watch that game. Why is that surprising? Because that wasn't
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: much of a game. It was a ranked matchup. Texas
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: A & M, that really probably shouldn't have been ranked
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: in there. They were barely ranked. And LSU, which just
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: said both teams had gotten beat the week before. I
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: think that was more of power of Lane Kiffin. You don't.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: You think it's because people really wanted to watch Texas
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: A & M football versus LSU. It probably had something
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: to do with Lane Kiffin. Yeah. See, I think it
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: had majority of it was Lane Kiffin. As much as
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: I hate to admit that. Come on, man.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Yeah. What's wrong with WNBA today? See who's number six, though?
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Number six is, I saw, IU Northwestern. Why are that
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: many people watching Indiana Northwestern? That's a terrible game. Terrible.
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: I mean, it had to be more IU fans. It
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: had to be.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: I think the fact that it was a standalone on
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: a Friday night. Yeah, definitely.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: And I still don't like the ACC and Big Ten
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: playing games on Friday night. It's never going to change anymore.
- 1:22:31Speaker 4: No.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: But it's just really sad. By the way, every time I...
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Flip on social media. It's WNBA drama. That's what's keeping
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: me from watching it is all the drama. Oh, it's not.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: What is it then? I mean, you don't like it.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: I don't like it. It's not a good product. Yeah,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: you're just not a fan of women's basketball. No. At
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: the highest level. You like Kentucky. No, I like Kentucky basketball.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: I like college basketball. So what's the difference between... women's
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: college basketball and the WNBA. It's all the drama. It's
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: like every time I turn around, it's, it's, there's something
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: they're complaining about. And I just, I, for the life
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: of me, I don't get it. I love Kenny Brooks
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: and I love watching the ladies play at Kentucky, but
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I can't watch it otherwise when it's above that. I mean, it,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: a lot of that comes from the media though. You know,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I mean, media members blow a lot of things up.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: They make, known a lot of things that we would
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: never even know about. So I do feel like a
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: large portion of their drama comes via the media. Really? Okay. Like,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: I mean the whole angel car or angel Reese.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: And Caitlin Clark thing. Oh, they're, they hate each other.
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: I mean, they just played on the world cup team together.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: They both came out afterwards and said, no, we're friends.
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: We've always been friends.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know. I'm just not an angel fan.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: I like Caitlin Clark. I think she's a great player.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: She's fun to watch. Uh, by the way, speaking of, uh, Well,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: NBA basketball. Did you see everybody was going crazy in Camden,
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: New Jersey, because a helicopter took off after a 76ers
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: basketball practice, and it was none other than your boy
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: LeBron James. Yeah. Isn't that ridiculous that people are covering
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: that he's taking a helicopter to go back home? Good
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: for him. First of all, he can afford it.
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: $ 6, 000.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: Is that how much it is for one trip? There
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: and back, yeah. Oh, there and back. Well, no, I
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: think it would be $ 12, 000 for there and back, the
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: way I read it. Is it $ 12, 000?
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean, that's a drop in the bucket
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: for him. I agree with that, and it seems like
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: an extreme amount of money to be spending. But he
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: wants to be with his family, and he doesn't want
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: to uproot his family from New York and go to
- 1:24:42Speaker 2: New Jersey.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Exactly, and you want to maximize your time with that. So, listen,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: if you can afford it, And it's just like us
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: driving across town 40, 45 minutes. Yeah. It takes you
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: that long to get from one part of town sometimes,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: especially during rush hour to get to the other part
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: of town. Who cares if he's going by helicopter? He
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: could be going by car. The only thing I worry
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: about with that is I don't want a repeat of
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: the Kobe situation. Now, don't bring that up.
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: Of course, none of us do. You have to worry
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: about that, though. I mean, how often do we see
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: helicopters go down? And you're being held up by a blade.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: Spinning in a circle. It doesn't make sense. You're being
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: held up by a blade spinning in a circle. Wonderful description.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: That doesn't sound dangerous. I don't know what does.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Have you been in a helicopter before? I have. Okay.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: And were you nervous? No, not at all. I was
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: also like 16. Oh, you were? Okay. So you think
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: going up today at age 39, you'd be nervous? 39?
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: First of all, slow your roll. Well, okay, 37. About
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: to be. Okay, 36. I mean, there would maybe be
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: a little trepidation there, but no. Really? Still, overall, I
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: would trust a helicopter. It's exciting. Yeah. I love flying
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: in a helicopter. I love planes more, but no. Listen,
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: he's not going to have any issues. The only reason
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: they had the issue with the Kobe Bryant one was
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: because of the fog, wasn't it? Yeah, and the mountains. Yeah. So,
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: I mean, come on, man. Don't go gliding in fogs.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: No mountains in New York. Exactly. Well, there are, but
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: not in the areas. There's only buildings that are mountains
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: up there. That's true. So- I listen, everybody's going nuts
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: for this. I don't really get it. And they are
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: doing the comparison just like you did with Kobe Bryant.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Come on. Don't, don't be putting that kind of curse
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: on the poor guy. I'm not a Kobe by our, uh,
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: LeBron James fan, but listen, credit to him. I mean,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: good for him for wanting to be as, uh, with
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: his family and being a family man. I like that.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: We need more of that in this country. Uh, the
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: one part I do get worried about, did you see
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: where brawny was saying yes my name is brawny but
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: it's also lebron and he's trying to come up with
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: his own oh boy oh yeah it was a terrible
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: so it was an interview uh after a lakers practice
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: yesterday it was it did not look good i really
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: hope brawny works out but do you realistically do you
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: think he works out i guess it just depends on
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: what your definition of that is because could he be
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: a solid role player for 10, 15 years in this league?
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: No.
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: I don't think we know that yet. Probably not. But
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: the best thing that happened is that he got away
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: from his dad. Exactly. If he wants to succeed in
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: the NBA, he needs to, by all means, get away
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: from his dad. I could flourish on his own. I
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: just do not see him succeeding. The only reason he
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: got on the Lakers team is because of his dad.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: The only reason he's still on the Lakers is because
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: his dad screwed the Lakers. Well, you laugh, but you
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: know I'm right. You're laughing because I am right. I
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: don't know you're right, no. Oh, come on. You think
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: you're right. I know that. Oh, no, I am right.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: I am so right about that. It's not even funny.
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: The hockey started last night, first game, and I thought
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: this was the most hockey thing to ever happen. I
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: don't know if you saw this or not, but there
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: was a game last night between the Boston Bruins and
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: the New York Rangers. and there was a bunch of
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: fans that had a video of one of the fans
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: getting hit in the head by a hockey puck. Really? Yes.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: And they're all trying to help him. They're asking, where's
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: the puck? Where's the puck? And the other guy kind
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: of reluctantly, but he did. I'll give him credit for it.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: He gave the puck to the guy that got hit
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: in the head. What's the guy do? The guy goes back,
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: gets bandaged up. I think he had to get stitches.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: and he's got tape all over his head. But what
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: does he do first before he goes back to, he
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: goes and gets a beer and then goes back to
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: his seat to watch the rest of the game. That's
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: exactly what I was thinking. That to me is, listen,
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: if it was a soccer fan out there, they'd be
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: in ICU at this point. That is pretty cool that
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: they gave it to him. Yeah, they should have given
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: it to him. Just like when somebody gets hit in
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: the head by a baseball bat or a baseball or
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: even a football. Give the fan the football. Or give
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: the fan the hockey puck. They should have. All his
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: buddies were just giving it to him because he looked ridiculous.
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: And they were just making fun of him to no end.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: And I thought that was awesome that they were. And
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: he just laughed about it. Has to get a beer,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: comes back to the seat, and watches the rest of
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: the game. That is just, that is the epitome of
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: a hockey fan right there. I wonder if he was
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: a Boston fan. In that case, it would have been
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: a big night for him. Oh, really? Because they won? Yeah. Yeah, 3-0. Yeah,
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: that was the end of the game. So, yeah. When
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: do our Lightning play? Do they play tonight? I don't know.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: I hate to tell you, I don't even know yet.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: I haven't paid attention, but I'm hoping to go to
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: a game when I get back down there. Listen, first
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: things first. The Buccaneers have to win a game. That's
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: not happening. The good news is that the starting quarterback
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: is no longer the starting quarterback. Yeah, but the bad
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: news is you probably don't even know the name of
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: the back.
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: I exactly don't have no idea who it is. Jalen Daniels.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: Really? He's an undrafted rookie. That's just terrible. Yeah. I mean,
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: how do you keep Todd Bowles as the head coach
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: and Baker Mayfield, who just got a huge contract extension? It's...
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: For the life of me, I don't get it. By
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: the way, Lightning don't play until Thursday. Yeah. Okay. Well,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: there you go. That just sucks for us. But anyway,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: TJ Walker texted in. Say what? Good having you back.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: I appreciate that. Thanks for listening, TJ. Yeah. Listen, TJ
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: is my favorite, okay? So I wish he could come
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: on here more often with me. He's a family man.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: Is that what it is? Yeah. Stop doing the whole
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: KRC thing. It's only two days a week. Come and
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: join Just the Cats, okay? I'd even name the show
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: whatever you want. We could call it TJ Walker, the
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: sports talker, and I'll be your guest host. What if
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: he wanted to go back to Just the Tip? I'd
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: be fine with that. That would be fun. You know,
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: the funny part is I was thinking about this morning
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: on the way in. Wouldn't it be fun to go
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: back to Just the Tip? Um, no.
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: I mean, I was never a part of that. I
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: know for me, I would say no, but I know,
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: I know how much that meant to you. So yeah,
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: if you, if you're in for it, I'm in. Listen,
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: I think it would be fun.
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: I'm not going to do it. No, UK didn't like it.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: And I don't want to upset UK. So anyway, they've
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: already threatened me. Michael, if you have that name, coaches
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: will no longer join. And I don't want that. Hey,
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: by the way, you saw me wearing an orange shirt today.
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: yes and anybody watching on the youtube can also see
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: that yeah i learned just like an hour ago it's
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: national orange shirt day what how about that was it
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: just random that you picked that.
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: Out today i didn't know it was national orange why
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: is it national orange shirt day i don't know that
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: seems kind of silly but it does yeah i'm glad
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: that i'm participating really.
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: Yeah i've been in in the shopping mood lately by
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: the way i uh And I might have something coming
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: towards your way, too. Say what? Yeah. Yeah. A little
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: Scenic Hill stuff. Come on. I need to put it
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: out on the scenichillstable.com website if anybody wants to. Because
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: I've had a few people reach out and say, I'd
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: love to buy a hat. And I'm going to put
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: some hats up. Good quality hat. White. I got white,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: a royal, navy blue, and a green. Which I love
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: the green. Yeah. I want the green. Yeah. People have
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: said it looks like a master's green is what it
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: looks like.
- 1:32:39Speaker 4: So.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: Anyway, tomorrow we're going to talk more about the U.K.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: South Carolina as we get a day closer to that
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: game and a day more of my anxiety is going
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: to be coming out. Maybe TJ can come on for
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: a couple of minutes and just chit-chat with us. He
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: could call in. I wouldn't care. I'd love to have
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: him right across from me. That would be more fun.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: Work it out. Yeah, I'll work it out. See what
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: we can do. All right, everybody, have a great day.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: Appreciate you listening. We'll see you tomorrow.
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: Seemed a harmless little boy.
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: But we unleashed the lion.
