- 1:24Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:24Speaker 5: Anyway, happy birthday month, Menace.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Thank you.

- 1:32Speaker 5: October 1st, 2026. My name is Woody. That is Greg Gorey.

- 1:36Speaker 5: We got Menace, the birthday month boy himself.
- 1:38Speaker 1: What is that?
- 1:39Speaker 8: Now that you officially don't eat anymore, are you... Are
- 1:42Speaker 8: you wishing for food drops?
- 1:44Speaker 3: Yeah, of course.
- 1:44Speaker 9: Really?
- 1:45Speaker 5: I hope so. Non-stop food drops that he wanted.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys put the end to that. I wanted it.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Woody put an end to it.
- 1:51Speaker 5: Because we gained like 15 pounds in one month.
- 1:54Speaker 4: We promised not to gain 15 pounds.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Yeah. I did get a message last night asking to
- 1:59Speaker 3: do a food drop.
- 2:00Speaker 10: Yes, yes, yes.
- 2:01Speaker 5: There's Gina Grand.
- 2:02Speaker 6: Hi.

- 2:30Speaker 5: the Menace birthday month wish list. Bucket list.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Bucket list.
- 2:35Speaker 11: Damn.
- 2:36Speaker 3: It drops.
- 2:36Speaker 5: It takes me about half the month to get that right.
- 2:39Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:39Speaker 5: And then we eventually get it right. That's coming up
- 2:41Speaker 5: a little bit later on in the show. Today, October 1st,
- 2:46Speaker 5: besides the beginning of Menace's birthday month, today is also
- 2:48Speaker 5: something very near and dear to Menace. It's World Vision.
- 2:51Speaker 5: Vegetarian Day.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Oh, that's the best, right?
- 2:53Speaker 5: Because you know how much he loves vegetables.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I did it for a year.
- 2:56Speaker 5: It's World Sake Day.
- 2:58Speaker 12: Sake.
- 2:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Yeah, but when you were going vegetarian for that year,
- 3:02Speaker 5: did you actually eat vegetables or just not meat?
- 3:04Speaker 3: Just not meat. Was it just like... Yeah, for sure.
- 3:07Speaker 3: No way.
- 3:07Speaker 5: He was the only vegetarian that never ate vegetables.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Donuts are vegetarian.
- 3:11Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Today's World Sake Day. It's International Music Day. Greg, International
- 3:17Speaker 5: Coffee Day.
- 3:18Speaker 3: You are. Worship at the altar.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Throwback Thursday. It's CD player day.
- 3:22Speaker 4: Nice.
- 3:23Speaker 5: For you compact disc fans.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yep.
- 3:25Speaker 5: Greg T's balloons around the world day.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Oh, thank you.
- 3:29Speaker 3: All right. Litter.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Oh, it's model T day.
- 3:33Speaker 12: Oh.
- 3:35Speaker 5: It's National Black Dog Day, National Hair Day, National Raccoon Day, Menace.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Dude, I just bought a raccoon ashtray. You did? Yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 3: For my house when people come over to smoke in
- 3:49Speaker 3: the backyard. Okay.
- 3:51Speaker 12: Yeah, it's a little raccoon ashtray, and it has a
- 3:55Speaker 12: raccoon eating a slice of pizza.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Adorable. Yeah.
- 3:58Speaker 5: Today is National Homemade Cookie Day.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Okay. Yes, sirree.
- 4:04Speaker 5: Now, I wouldn't hate it if you had like one
- 4:05Speaker 5: of those birthday cookie cakes.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 4:09Speaker 5: It was like, was it the- Underrated. Yeah, like at
- 4:13Speaker 5: the mall, they had the cookie place. They always had
- 4:16Speaker 5: the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Yeah, with the icing.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Yeah, and you get the big round, look like a pizza.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Mrs. Fields.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Yeah, Mrs.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Fields. Hell yeah, dude.
- 4:26Speaker 5: It's time for your birthdays. And we'll start with the celebrities.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Happy birthday to Zach Galifianakis, who's 57 today.
- 4:33Speaker 3: You got Randy Quaid, Cousin Eddie.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Is he still in hiding?
- 4:35Speaker 3: Oh, is he like in Canada or something? Yeah, he's
- 4:37Speaker 3: doing homemade sex, porno, like.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Hotel movies. Doesn't he live in a motel?
- 4:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:55Speaker 14: Oh, yeah.
- 4:56Speaker 5: I hadn't heard anything about him in quite a while.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Well, he fled the country.
- 5:00Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Randy Quaid, even when he did, he was still, like,
- 5:03Speaker 5: popping up. You could still see him from time to time.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Yeah, ranting.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Yeah, ranting and rambling.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Random videos.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Yeah. Randy Quaid is 76 years old today. Brie Larson,
- 5:11Speaker 5: Captain Marvel. She won an Oscar for that movie, Room.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Oh, God, that was so.
- 5:16Speaker 5: Hard to watch. 37 years old today. Mark McGuire, who
- 5:18Speaker 5: broke Roger Maris' home run record in 1998.
- 5:20Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 5:22Speaker 5: On steroids, but still broke the record.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Fast brother.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Rolled. 63 years old. Today, it's Hollywood royalty, Greg.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Oh, who?
- 5:32Speaker 5: From Mary Poppins and the Sound of Music, Julie Andrews' birthday.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Oh!
- 5:39Speaker 3: Still hot. How did her and Dick Van Dyke live
- 5:42Speaker 3: to be?
- 5:43Speaker 4: A thousand?
- 5:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Well, she's 91 today.
- 5:45Speaker 12: Whoa.
- 5:46Speaker 3: I've never seen that movie. What? Sound of Music? Bad Gay.
- 5:50Speaker 3: You know what? Not one of my favorites.
- 5:52Speaker 4: As a musical lover, not one of my favorites.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Zero interest.
- 5:54Speaker 5: I don't think I've seen Mary Poppins.
- 5:56Speaker 1: What?
- 5:57Speaker 3: I don't think I have either. That's crazy.
- 5:58Speaker 5: I haven't seen Mary Poppins or Sound of Music.
- 6:01Speaker 3: They look boring.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Oh, you know who else has a birthday today? He
- 6:04Speaker 5: was Richie's brother Bob in La Bamba. He was also
- 6:08Speaker 5: in NYPD Blue. And he's the villain in the newest
- 6:11Speaker 5: Mission Impossible movie. His name is Esai Morales.
- 6:13Speaker 15: Oh, yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Have you seen this guy, Gina?
- 6:15Speaker 4: I have a couple times before, yeah. Good looking guy.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Yeah. He's 64 today.
- 6:21Speaker 5: And then your porno birthday is Sybil A. And today's
- 6:24Speaker 5: birthday girl, her knees have more miles on them than
- 6:26Speaker 5: Route 66. She's been in 569 fine films, including Yoga
- 6:32Speaker 5: Hottie's Private Climax Class, Office Romp of the Cleaning Lady
- 6:36Speaker 5: Volume 1. She was in Lesbian Sandwich with Zero Calories,
- 6:42Speaker 5: Finger Bangin' Bliss, also Orogenous Anus. cunnilingus spies her morning
- 6:49Speaker 5: coffee volume one check it out and then who can
- 6:53Speaker 5: forget her unforgettable role in dildo hibachi squirt show sure.

- 7:00Speaker 5: Tower yeah where does she go that's uh sybil a
- 7:03Speaker 5: who's 32 years old today and that is your birthday
- 7:07Speaker 5: and your celebrity birthdays here on the woody show.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Wait and we'll woody show.
- 7:17Speaker 3: All right.
- 7:19Speaker 5: It is time to check in with Gina Grand so
- 7:24Speaker 5: she can tell us all about the trending news headlines.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Well, remember how we were talking about waiting on Tennessee's
- 7:29Speaker 4: execution of the first woman in like 200 years?
- 7:32Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 4: That did not go as planned.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Can't stop, won't stop. They gave her like a stay, right?
- 7:38Speaker 3: Dramatic thing ever.
- 7:39Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 7:40Speaker 4: There's more. After two lethal injections, Krista Pike is still alive.
- 7:44Speaker 3: Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Wait.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Everybody wait.
- 7:48Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 5: I'm going to explain.
- 7:49Speaker 3: So last.
- 7:50Speaker 5: I don't know how I missed anything.
- 7:52Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 5: So what happened from the time that they said there
- 7:54Speaker 5: was like a... There was a stay.
- 7:56Speaker 4: There was a stay, but.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Okay, and then they... That was pretty quick.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Very quick.
- 8:00Speaker 5: So then they said, all right, no, no, go ahead
- 8:01Speaker 5: and do it.
- 8:01Speaker 4: The Supreme Court voted to override the stay.
- 8:04Speaker 5: That was quick.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Like an hour later.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Yes. See, I didn't even hear about that.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Yes.
- 8:08Speaker 4: They were like, nah, nah.
- 8:10Speaker 5: But this is insane.
- 8:11Speaker 4: This is like a movie. She was strapped to the
- 8:13Speaker 4: gurney just before 7.30 p.m. and injected with two... syringes
- 8:18Speaker 4: of pentobarbital but her attorney says she never lost consciousness
- 8:22Speaker 4: she's still at a heartbeat after two doses witnesses heard
- 8:26Speaker 4: her talking in full sentences.
- 8:28Speaker 8: She was snoring yeah she it.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Didn't affect her at all she was taken to a
- 8:32Speaker 4: nearby hospital and the governor you're gonna hate this she's still.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Alive yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 3: They tried to kill her twice. Christopher is here, dog.
- 8:40Speaker 4: The governor has ordered an investigation and now, you're going
- 8:44Speaker 4: to hate this, paused all executions in Tennessee for the
- 8:47Speaker 4: rest of the year.
- 8:48Speaker 5: Get back up on that horse. Try, try again. There
- 8:51Speaker 5: is no quit.
- 8:52Speaker 3: There is no quit.
- 8:54Speaker 16: But is someone giving her something else? Is there something
- 8:57Speaker 16: shady going on? How could she not die?
- 9:00Speaker 5: She's a cockroach of a human. She's an evil person.
- 9:04Speaker 4: And pentobarbital, I looked this up because I was like,
- 9:06Speaker 4: I thought it was phenobarbital. Pento is way stronger, and
- 9:11Speaker 4: that's the lethal dose. It's not like they're giving you
- 9:13Speaker 4: a sedative and then injecting you with something else. This
- 9:15Speaker 4: should have done the job.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Okay, well, I mean, at this point, you kind of
- 9:19Speaker 3: get a pass.
- 9:20Speaker 14: Yeah, do you let her live now?
- 9:21Speaker 3: It's like, wow.
- 9:22Speaker 4: How many times do you, I mean, firing squads?
- 9:24Speaker 3: I mean, that's easy.
- 9:26Speaker 8: But if two didn't work, try three.
- 9:27Speaker 11: I know.
- 9:28Speaker 5: If at first you don't succeed, try again. What a
- 9:33Speaker 5: bunch of quitters.
- 9:34Speaker 8: Because they close the curtain that the gallery can look through,
- 9:37Speaker 8: and she's still snoring. So they rush her to a hospital.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Why?
- 9:41Speaker 5: Why? She's good. Look, if the curtain's closed, just put
- 9:44Speaker 5: your hands around her neck.
- 9:46Speaker 8: And choke her out. It's like when you catch a
- 9:48Speaker 8: fish and you bonk it over the head.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Yeah. Something.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Something.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Like pillow to the mouth. That's so crazy.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Yeah, we will stay on that.
- 9:54Speaker 3: It was the craziest story. Truly, truly.
- 9:56Speaker 5: Wow, that's nuts.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Well, three of the four wild card matches. are already over.
- 10:01Speaker 4: The White Sox knocked out the Astros. Thank you to
- 10:03Speaker 4: the Pope for that letter. I'm sure that helped. The
- 10:06Speaker 4: Yankees got rid of the Red Sox and the Padres
- 10:08Speaker 4: sent the Cubs home. The only series that survived is
- 10:11Speaker 4: the Phillies and Braves. Philly forced a game three tonight
- 10:14Speaker 4: in Atlanta. The winner will play the Dodgers on Saturday.
- 10:17Speaker 4: And baseball crowds are showing up for all of this.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Attendance went up for the fourth year in a row.
- 10:23Speaker 4: That's the highest number since 2017.
- 10:26Speaker 3: So that's good.
- 10:26Speaker 5: I've been working, trying to get the games to go quicker,
- 10:30Speaker 5: the clock for the pitch clock.
- 10:34Speaker 3: I love.
- 10:35Speaker 5: I do love, I'm wondering, you know, I know baseball
- 10:37Speaker 5: purists hate it, but like how you can challenge a pitch,
- 10:41Speaker 5: you know, a call for the strike zone. Like, I
- 10:44Speaker 5: like that. It adds a little extra element to the game.
- 10:46Speaker 3: A little surprise.
- 10:47Speaker 5: The reactions in the stadiums are fun. You know, when
- 10:51Speaker 5: they challenge it and all of a sudden it comes
- 10:52Speaker 5: up on the big screen and you see. Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Pretty great. The reaction.
- 10:55Speaker 8: I think the pitch clock changed everything.
- 10:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:58Speaker 8: I remember my first game I ever went to, I thought,
- 11:00Speaker 8: how much downtime can there be?
- 11:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:02Speaker 3: It's like six hours long.
- 11:03Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 11:03Speaker 5: It's a lot of downtime.
- 11:04Speaker 8: You know who else needs to do this? What industry
- 11:06Speaker 8: needs to figure it out?
- 11:07Speaker 3: Horse racing. Horse racing.
- 11:09Speaker 8: There's so much downtime. It would draw more people if
- 11:12Speaker 8: it wasn't 15 hours between races.
- 11:15Speaker 5: Yeah, there's a lot of time. That's when the betting happens,
- 11:18Speaker 5: and that's where they're making the money.
- 11:19Speaker 11: Oh, exactly.
- 11:20Speaker 5: That's why there's that time.
- 11:22Speaker 4: That makes sense.
- 11:22Speaker 3: They've got to rework that.
- 11:23Speaker 12: Yeah, but put little dog races in between or something.
- 11:26Speaker 8: Yeah, do something.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Yeah, do like a clown show. And also, December, when
- 11:29Speaker 4: December 1st hits, the collective bargaining agreement expires and everyone's
- 11:33Speaker 4: looking for a lockout, so enjoy it while you can.
- 11:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm I've heard a lot about the lockout. They
- 11:39Speaker 5: want to have the salary cap.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:41Speaker 5: The owners want the salary cap in there. Obviously, the
- 11:43Speaker 5: players don't want the salary cap in there. And I'm like, oh,
- 11:46Speaker 5: there'll be some kind of lockout. It'll be maybe like
- 11:48Speaker 5: an abbreviated season. No, they're talking about maybe no baseball
- 11:51Speaker 5: next year.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Like no season.
- 11:53Speaker 4: No America.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 5: Like there won't be baseball at all next year.
- 11:56Speaker 3: That would be insane. Is that crazy?
- 11:59Speaker 5: It's possible. Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 4: How am I going to nap? That's what I put
- 12:02Speaker 4: on when I'm on the couch.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Their heels are on the ground that hard? That's crazy.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Well, we now know the name of the captain who
- 12:08Speaker 4: got stabbed at 34,000 feet. That's Captain Smit Makar. He's
- 12:12Speaker 4: an Indian national who, despite being stabbed and very injured,
- 12:16Speaker 4: used the last bit of his strength to unlock the
- 12:19Speaker 4: cockpit door so passengers and crew could rush in and
- 12:22Speaker 4: tackle this co-pilot who, by the way, was reportedly standing
- 12:25Speaker 4: over the control panel bashing it. One of the relief
- 12:28Speaker 4: pilots who was on the plane helped landed in Saudi Arabia.
- 12:32Speaker 4: And this Omani co-pilot is now in custody. And the
- 12:35Speaker 4: official investigation still has not called this terrorism. But three
- 12:39Speaker 4: Israelis officials say it looks like an attempted terror attack.
- 12:43Speaker 4: And I saw that the guy who treated the stabbed
- 12:46Speaker 4: pilot was a dentist. Like they had these random, they
- 12:50Speaker 4: had two relief pilots on and like just a random
- 12:53Speaker 4: dentist and everybody just rushed in, tied this guy up
- 12:56Speaker 4: with like headphone cords and stuff.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Choked him out.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Yep.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Knocked him down. Total heroes.
- 13:02Speaker 4: Well, Greg.
- 13:03Speaker 5: It's a long play though, right? Like you go through training.
- 13:05Speaker 3: All that.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Pilot training.
- 13:07Speaker 3: You get hired, right?
- 13:08Speaker 5: And then you wait, like that's a, That's a long play.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:12Speaker 5: That's not like just a thing in the moment. No.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Right.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Oh, unless I guess it could be.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Sleeper cell.
- 13:18Speaker 5: No, I mean, I guess it could be. It could be,
- 13:20Speaker 5: you know, you were already working there.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 13:22Speaker 5: And then as you're working there, all of a sudden
- 13:24Speaker 5: you become, you know, radicalized.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Yeah. Whatever. Yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 5: Radicalized.
- 13:27Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, Greg, you might need to investigate this. 7-Eleven
- 13:32Speaker 4: and Circle K were caught with their hand in the
- 13:34Speaker 4: register with 153 complaints across 17 states of shelf prices
- 13:40Speaker 4: not matching the price at the register.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Got to be more alert.
- 13:43Speaker 4: You do. A guy's cheese sticks for $ 3. 99 rang up
- 13:46Speaker 4: at $ 4.
- 13:47Speaker 3: 19. And when he.
- 13:48Speaker 4: Asked the cashier to see the price, the cashier just
- 13:51Speaker 4: said no.
- 13:52Speaker 3: No. Circle K.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Greg would be calling the authorities.
- 13:56Speaker 3: That's right. Weights and measures coming at you.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Circle K failed 82% of price accuracy inspections in a
- 14:03Speaker 4: couple states, and 7-Eleven failed almost half of the price
- 14:06Speaker 4: checks in a few states, including gum that was $ 3. 99
- 14:09Speaker 4: that rang up at $ 4.
- 14:10Speaker 12: 99.
- 14:10Speaker 4: So just be careful when you run into these places
- 14:13Speaker 4: to grab.
- 14:14Speaker 8: Something real quick.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Yeah, pay attention to the pricing. Oh, that happened.
- 14:16Speaker 14: I was at the airport one time.
- 14:18Speaker 16: The person in front of me was getting water and
- 14:20Speaker 16: they rang it up and it was like $ 2 more
- 14:22Speaker 16: than the price that said. And she pointed at the
- 14:24Speaker 16: price and she was like, this is the price that
- 14:26Speaker 16: it says though. And the lady ringing her up goes, no,
- 14:28Speaker 16: that was before.
- 14:29Speaker 14: And we're like, what?
- 14:31Speaker 3: Sounds like a Greg situation.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Totally.
- 14:33Speaker 3: That happened to Greg. It happens all the time.
- 14:36Speaker 4: It doesn't matter what the question is. If there's something
- 14:37Speaker 4: I can't explain, I'm just going to say, no, that
- 14:39Speaker 4: was before. And we'll leave it at that.
- 14:41Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 4: It doesn't matter what I'm talking about.
- 14:43Speaker 8: But what about your pricing policy? Yeah, we don't do
- 14:45Speaker 8: that no more.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:46Speaker 5: That was before. That's literally what you were told, right?
- 14:50Speaker 1: Yep.
- 14:50Speaker 8: I said, look right here. I held up my phone.
- 14:52Speaker 8: Your website says if you ring it up wrong, you
- 14:55Speaker 8: get it free. And they said, quote, we don't do
- 14:57Speaker 8: that no more.
- 14:58Speaker 5: We don't do that no more.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Even though our website currently says it. Which currently says
- 15:03Speaker 3: that policy.
- 15:04Speaker 5: We don't do that no more.
- 15:06Speaker 3: So you have a policy, but you don't follow the policy.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yep.
- 15:10Speaker 3: That's it. Don't do that.
- 15:11Speaker 4: Glad we're all on the same page.
- 15:12Speaker 8: Okay, good.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Cleared up.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Well, finally, Sammy, you're going to be thrilled about this.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Sean Diddy Combs, he's headed back to the hole. The
- 15:21Speaker 4: prison in Fort Dix is putting him in solitary confinement
- 15:23Speaker 4: while they investigate all this pampered stuff he's been getting
- 15:26Speaker 4: in prison.
- 15:27Speaker 3: Eaters.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Yeah, that's Sammy's hall pass, by the way.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Diddy.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Like we've mentioned, it all blew up after that NBC
- 15:34Speaker 4: News report that claimed that Diddy was living large at
- 15:37Speaker 4: Fort Dix with massages, fancy meals, contraband booze. And the
- 15:42Speaker 4: report also claims he had a cell phone he was
- 15:44Speaker 4: using to look at nude photos of his ex. So
- 15:47Speaker 4: this isn't his first trip to the hole. Remember, he
- 15:49Speaker 4: got in that fight in July and had to go
- 15:52Speaker 4: to the hole. So Diddy is supposed to get released
- 15:54Speaker 4: in January.
- 15:54Speaker 5: Well, they don't send people there for good behavior. Exactly.
- 15:56Speaker 5: So this whole thing about getting out early on a
- 15:59Speaker 5: kind of good behavior. Well, that's the thing.
- 16:01Speaker 4: That ain't happening.
- 16:02Speaker 5: I mean, that's going to be a setback. And you
- 16:04Speaker 5: know they're looking into it because, you know, when these
- 16:06Speaker 5: things get out, which is the whole reason it got leaked, right?
- 16:08Speaker 5: Because he's doing these things. He's not supposed to be.
- 16:10Speaker 5: People don't want to see him getting any kind of
- 16:14Speaker 5: special treatment. And so, I mean, what's the, is it
- 16:17Speaker 5: the Department of Justice or the Department of Corrections?
- 16:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 5: They can't just let that slide. So now they're going
- 16:21Speaker 5: to be doing a big investigation about who got him
- 16:24Speaker 5: the phone. How was this even allowed to happen in
- 16:26Speaker 5: the first place? They're going to hold him super accountable
- 16:29Speaker 5: and probably make an example of him.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yep.
- 16:31Speaker 5: You know, for, you know, whatever the punishment is for
- 16:35Speaker 5: getting caught with contraband.
- 16:36Speaker 4: And I think we're all okay with that.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 5: Everybody's fine with that.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Well, that's what's going on, Woody.
- 16:41Speaker 3: All right.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Thank you very much, Gina Grad.
- 16:43Speaker 4: You got it.
- 16:43Speaker 11: I love it.
- 16:44Speaker 12: I love it.
- 16:45Speaker 3: I love it.
- 16:46Speaker 2: The Woody Show.
- 16:50Speaker 5: In the news headlines, we're talking about, you know, all
- 16:54Speaker 5: this stuff has come out about Diddy and he's getting
- 16:55Speaker 5: massages and got a cell phone.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Booze.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Yeah, booze and stuff like that.
- 16:59Speaker 5: So obviously the people who are in charge, they can't
- 17:02Speaker 5: just let that kind of thing slide. So now he's
- 17:04Speaker 5: like in, is it solitary? Yep.
- 17:06Speaker 3: He's in the hole. Yeah.
- 17:08Speaker 5: In the hole. Sounds kind of hot.
- 17:10Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 4: His favorite place to be.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Not what you want. I did see there was another
- 17:16Speaker 5: crime story. So a nearly 30-year-old Iowa hit-and-run case has
- 17:23Speaker 5: taken a major step forward because a viewer... recognized a
- 17:28Speaker 5: suspect while watching a rerun of America's Most Wanted.
- 17:33Speaker 11: Really?
- 17:33Speaker 6: A rerun?
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Heck yeah. Yeah, you can watch that, I think, on
- 17:37Speaker 3: Pluto TV. You can watch all those old ones.
- 17:40Speaker 5: When I was a kid, I used to love watching,
- 17:44Speaker 5: I think it was like, was it Saturday night that
- 17:47Speaker 5: they would run America's Most Wanted?
- 17:49Speaker 8: I think it was Friday.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Was that not the same night that In Living Color
- 17:54Speaker 5: was on? Because wasn't it like, cops america i think
- 17:58Speaker 5: the lineup was like cops america's most wanted or is
- 18:01Speaker 5: america's most wanted and then cops and then in living
- 18:04Speaker 5: color did i have that right this says.
- 18:06Speaker 4: It was on mondays but that could have been uh
- 18:10Speaker 4: that might be newer.
- 18:11Speaker 3: Maybe you're thinking unsolved mysteries.
- 18:13Speaker 5: No i never you know what i never really watched
- 18:15Speaker 5: unsolved oh.
- 18:16Speaker 4: God i love this it's so frustrating because it's unsolved
- 18:18Speaker 4: it's showing saturday night was cops at eight and then
- 18:21Speaker 4: in living color at nine.
- 18:22Speaker 5: Okay, so yeah, there was like, for a while, I
- 18:24Speaker 5: think they did run like Cops, America's Most Wanted, and
- 18:27Speaker 5: then Living. It was such an awesome.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Triple delight. Yeah, dude. What about Rescue 911?
- 18:31Speaker 5: I love Rescue 911. I forgot about that.
- 18:35Speaker 3: Dude, that hit.
- 18:36Speaker 8: With William Shatner?
- 18:37Speaker 3: Yep.
- 18:37Speaker 5: Shatner.
- 18:38Speaker 3: I loved that show.
- 18:39Speaker 5: I forgot about that. Rescue 911.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Yeah, my favorites were Rescue 911. An American Gladiator.
- 18:46Speaker 5: Oh, American Gladiator.
- 18:47Speaker 3: I loved it. Yeah.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Was that on Fox? American Gladiator?
- 18:50Speaker 3: I think so.
- 18:51Speaker 5: Yeah, because, dude, also you had, that's when In Living
- 18:53Speaker 5: Color was happening. Not In Living Color, Married With Children.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Right. All the good stuff. So good.
- 18:58Speaker 8: And then I was addicted to Arsenio Hall.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Yeah. Loved that show. But then in those realm of
- 19:04Speaker 3: shows that we were talking about earlier, like A Current Affair. Oh, yeah.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Hard copy. Hard copy, yes. Remember Hard Copy?
- 19:12Speaker 5: Of course.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Ruled. Good.
- 19:15Speaker 5: Anyway, so this case had been unresolved since 1997 when
- 19:21Speaker 5: Leslie Ruby was struck and killed while riding his lawnmower
- 19:24Speaker 5: home after cutting grass for his family.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Oh.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 19:29Speaker 5: The viewer's tip led investigators to New Jersey where U.S.
- 19:32Speaker 5: Marshals recently took a suspect into custody.
- 19:35Speaker 3: Dude. That's crazy.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Can you imagine? Okay, so.
- 19:38Speaker 3: 30 years.
- 19:39Speaker 5: Yeah. Well, hey, you know what? You got 30 years
- 19:41Speaker 5: where you lived your life.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Yeah, you're lucky.
- 19:43Speaker 3: You know?
- 19:44Speaker 5: But that's got to be weird, too. You're looking over
- 19:47Speaker 5: your shoulder. Every 30 years. day every moment you're probably
- 19:51Speaker 5: thinking like oh is this person looking at me I'd.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Say after 10 years I'd stop thinking about it right
- 19:56Speaker 4: you think you got away with it at a.
- 19:57Speaker 5: Certain point I don't know that you I mean I
- 20:00Speaker 5: don't think so I guess if you're the kind of
- 20:01Speaker 5: person knowing that you hit somebody and you ran.
- 20:04Speaker 3: And you're fine with it and then you're fine with
- 20:06Speaker 3: it yeah Yeah, you're probably a douchebag anyway.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 3: But good.
- 20:09Speaker 4: But, like, there's this murder that they finally caught at, like,
- 20:12Speaker 4: 90 years old, and they go, justice is finally served.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Really?
- 20:16Speaker 4: He had his entire life, and he's 90, and he's
- 20:18Speaker 4: going to die in prison? Who cares?
- 20:19Speaker 5: Yeah, at that point. That's not satisfying.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Justice was not served.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Yeah. That's not satisfying. At all. What were we saying yesterday?
- 20:27Speaker 5: Now people will go like, well, there's no use in
- 20:30Speaker 5: ruining two.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 20:31Speaker 4: Like if you murder someone or rape someone or something,
- 20:33Speaker 4: their life is ruined. Well, we don't want to ruin
- 20:36Speaker 4: two lives, so we should let the guy go. No.
- 20:39Speaker 5: Not necessarily with rape, but we're talking about like the
- 20:42Speaker 5: death penalty.
- 20:42Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't want to ruin two lives.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:46Speaker 8: Okay.
- 20:46Speaker 5: But I do love, I mean, it was years later.
- 20:49Speaker 5: But I got really into that show Cold Case. Oh,
- 20:52Speaker 5: I love Cold Case. But it was on CBS because
- 20:53Speaker 5: it was always on after football for a while.
- 20:55Speaker 4: That's a great show.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Yeah, Cold Case with that blonde detective lady. I forget
- 20:59Speaker 5: her name. But yeah, Cold Case ruled.
- 21:03Speaker 3: That was fiction, right?
- 21:04Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 21:06Speaker 5: Yeah, that was a scripted drama.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Right.
- 21:08Speaker 5: Crime drama.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Yeah, but those shows were fun. They're good. Yeah.
- 21:12Speaker 8: I brought it up before, but when we have these
- 21:14Speaker 8: stories in the news about... You had one the other day, Woody,
- 21:17Speaker 8: about a guy... Oh, the kid who drove the car
- 21:20Speaker 8: home from school by himself, and then they arrested the
- 21:22Speaker 8: dad because they found.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Out he had a warrant.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:25Speaker 8: Don't they have a list of warrant? How do you, quote,
- 21:29Speaker 8: find out he has a warrant? Don't you know he
- 21:31Speaker 8: has a warrant? Go get him.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Well, I guess you can't have everybody on your radar
- 21:34Speaker 4: at every second.
- 21:35Speaker 5: That's why you run them.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Through the computer.
- 21:36Speaker 8: You've got to have a master list. Here are all
- 21:38Speaker 8: the warrants. He lives at 123 Jones Road. Go get him.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Yeah, they'll do roundups. I don't get it. They'll do
- 21:44Speaker 3: roundups here and there. But it's not a priority, right?
- 21:47Speaker 8: There's other priorities. I guess.
- 21:51Speaker 3: I'm not getting. When they have extra room, they'll do
- 21:53Speaker 3: a roundup.
- 21:54Speaker 5: I mean, I would love to see, you know, they
- 21:55Speaker 5: say they have all these, you know, DNA samples or,
- 22:00Speaker 5: you know, rape kits, you know.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Backlogged.
- 22:03Speaker 5: That are so backlogged. Years.
- 22:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:05Speaker 5: And now we have, okay, let's put AI to use
- 22:08Speaker 5: for good.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Yes.
- 22:10Speaker 5: You know, for a good cause. And there's got to
- 22:12Speaker 5: be a way to speed all that up. That would
- 22:14Speaker 5: be great. all that stuff into, you know?
- 22:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Yes.
- 22:18Speaker 5: Like just throw it all into some kind of automated thing.
- 22:20Speaker 5: Let it go through anything flags. Then you have the,
- 22:23Speaker 5: you know, humans go through and start, you know, following
- 22:26Speaker 5: up and double checking and things like that.
- 22:28Speaker 8: Right. I kind of blame celebrities because when there's a
- 22:32Speaker 8: high profile celebrity death, you get that medical examiner report
- 22:36Speaker 8: so fast. They cover it 24 seven. They're working on
- 22:39Speaker 8: it 24 seven. Meanwhile, for you know, Jane Doe, John Doe,
- 22:44Speaker 8: it takes forever.
- 22:45Speaker 14: Yeah. Because with all the rape kits and stuff, it's
- 22:47Speaker 14: the funding issues.
- 22:49Speaker 16: So with celebrities, maybe if there's a funding issue and
- 22:51Speaker 16: they just go, here's the money, get it done now, they.
- 22:53Speaker 14: Get it done.
- 22:56Speaker 8: Strange world.
- 22:57Speaker 5: I'm looking at the text over to 22987. Somebody said, yeah,
- 23:00Speaker 5: you're right. It was right after cops on Saturday nights.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Sweet. That's a good point.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Dude, I forgot about Rescue 911. Yeah.
- 23:08Speaker 1: 100%.
- 23:08Speaker 5: I forgot about that show. That was a great show.
- 23:10Speaker 11: So good.
- 23:12Speaker 5: 877-44-WOODY. You can send your text over to 22987. We'll
- 23:18Speaker 5: come back, and then after the break, the biggest loser
- 23:21Speaker 5: picks for Week 4.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 23:22Speaker 5: All right, so Menace, two weeks in a row, has
- 23:25Speaker 5: been the winner.
- 23:26Speaker 8: Yes. Reigning champion.
- 23:27Speaker 5: He's the reigning champion. And we'll find out who he's
- 23:31Speaker 5: going up against this week, and then they'll make their
- 23:33Speaker 5: biggest loser picks. Again, it's the Week 4 NFL schedule.
- 23:37Speaker 5: You've got to pick the team... that you think will
- 23:40Speaker 5: lose by the most amount of points? Who will be
- 23:42Speaker 5: the biggest loser for week four? There's been a lot
- 23:46Speaker 5: of surprises already so far this season. So many people's,
- 23:49Speaker 5: I wonder what percentage of people are still in Survivor.
- 23:53Speaker 3: There has to be so many people knocked out. Oh yeah. 25% maybe.
- 23:57Speaker 5: Even that high?
- 23:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:58Speaker 5: With what's happened so far?
- 23:59Speaker 3: I would say 25%. Wow. There's been some shockers.
- 24:03Speaker 5: That still seems high based on some of these upsets.
- 24:06Speaker 3: I'll go run it right now and I'll give you
- 24:08Speaker 3: the answer when we come back.
- 24:09Speaker 5: Yeah. But yeah, who's going to be the biggest loser
- 24:12Speaker 5: in week four? So we'll find out who Menace is
- 24:14Speaker 5: going up against. We'll get the picks. That'll be coming
- 24:16Speaker 5: up next.
- 24:17Speaker 4: Stick your tongue out.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Something wet and slimy.
- 24:23Speaker 3: The Woody Show.
- 24:26Speaker 5: Well, the shirt has been officially sacrificed. To give you
- 24:28Speaker 5: guys an update, I brought the shirt that we tried to...
- 24:33Speaker 5: Dry cleaning spray thing on yesterday. Yeah, I got it home.
- 24:37Speaker 5: I put that Oxy stuff on.
- 24:38Speaker 3: OxyClean, yeah.
- 24:39Speaker 5: That we like. Because I figured, oh, maybe it is
- 24:42Speaker 5: the tomato sauce part of it that was being the problem.
- 24:45Speaker 5: You can still see it.
- 24:48Speaker 11: What the hell?
- 24:49Speaker 3: Yeah, so.
- 24:50Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 24:52Speaker 4: I feel like I'm not done with it, though.
- 24:54Speaker 5: I'm not either.
- 24:54Speaker 3: I'll try it.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Somebody had said when they went to Italy, they were
- 24:59Speaker 5: at a restaurant and I guess their son had dripped
- 25:03Speaker 5: like five or six little spots on his shirt. And
- 25:06Speaker 5: then the manager of the restaurant came out with that
- 25:09Speaker 5: stuff and sprayed it on there. And then they just
- 25:13Speaker 5: brushed it off. They said it was the coolest thing
- 25:14Speaker 5: they've ever seen. So I guess there are situations where
- 25:17Speaker 5: it works. Maybe it's just my wife's cooking. I was
- 25:21Speaker 5: talking about this spray. You might have seen it on
- 25:23Speaker 5: on Instagram where, you know, the, you know.
- 25:27Speaker 4: The Albuquerque stain lifter.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:29Speaker 5: P.C.R. to whatever it's whatever it's called. And they sprayed
- 25:33Speaker 5: this stuff on there and they took a high pressure
- 25:35Speaker 5: air hose and just blew the stuff off there because
- 25:38Speaker 5: it becomes a powder. And then the oil marks and
- 25:40Speaker 5: stains were gone. So I bought some and we tried
- 25:44Speaker 5: it out yesterday for, is it worth an ish? And, um, it,
- 25:47Speaker 5: I mean, it, it did get some, but like, uh, I,
- 25:50Speaker 5: I brought it home through it, through the wash, spray
- 25:52Speaker 5: it with the other stuff. It still didn't come out.
- 25:54Speaker 5: I still think it's worth trying next time. It's just
- 25:57Speaker 5: maybe the tomato sauce thing. If it's just like a
- 26:00Speaker 5: drip of oil or what. But it says oil, grease,
- 26:03Speaker 5: all these different things.
- 26:03Speaker 14: Yeah, maybe if it's still wet.
- 26:04Speaker 16: Because if that happened at the restaurant for that kid
- 26:06Speaker 16: and they sprayed it right away, it probably hadn't dried yet.
- 26:09Speaker 5: Yours dried overnight. Oh, that's a good point. And I
- 26:13Speaker 5: also want to try with the baby powder. People were
- 26:16Speaker 5: texting over about that. I'll try that. Somebody said that
- 26:20Speaker 5: to get the grease out, you shout advanced. They said
- 26:23Speaker 5: it's never failed me getting grease stains out. I mean,
- 26:26Speaker 5: worth trying all these things because I have ruined so
- 26:29Speaker 5: many shirts. So fat. Can't eat without getting stuff. You
- 26:32Speaker 5: just got to wear a bib now, you know?
- 26:34Speaker 3: Right?
- 26:35Speaker 5: Yeah. I kind of get it. All right. So biggest
- 26:38Speaker 5: loser picks for week four. You know what's nuts? After
- 26:42Speaker 5: this week, the season's a quarter over.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Already? I know. I can't believe it's week four already.
- 26:47Speaker 3: It's a month of football.
- 26:48Speaker 5: It was like that, man.
- 26:50Speaker 3: The NFL season, I mean, they're 17, right?
- 26:52Speaker 5: But I mean, like, you know, as far as the
- 26:54Speaker 5: schedule goes, like, let's just call it 25% over. Yep.
- 26:58Speaker 5: That's crazy. It sucks. It's incredibly fast.
- 27:02Speaker 3: All right.
- 27:03Speaker 5: So Menace won the last two weeks. So he is
- 27:05Speaker 5: still the biggest loser champion. And so the thing here
- 27:09Speaker 5: is to make a pick. You pick a team that
- 27:12Speaker 5: you think will lose by the largest margin. on the
- 27:15Speaker 5: schedule this week. All right. And then, you know, uh,
- 27:19Speaker 5: we have the points that you would guess, and that
- 27:22Speaker 5: will be the tiebreaker, which is how menace one this
- 27:25Speaker 5: last week. He guessed it by exactly 14 points.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Rain, man. Yeah. Yeah.
- 27:30Speaker 5: And I think during the, uh, the Craigslist prices, right. His, his,
- 27:33Speaker 5: his bid was exact 50 bucks.
- 27:35Speaker 3: I don't know what's happening over there.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:38Speaker 5: Um, all right. So menace is going up against you, Jeff.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Menace is going up against Greg this week.
- 27:43Speaker 5: All right, so Greg Gorey. Yes. All right, so you
- 27:47Speaker 5: go head-to-head. You pick who you think the biggest loser
- 27:49Speaker 5: in the NFL will be. All right, so this week
- 27:53Speaker 5: Menace takes on Greg. We'll start with Greg. Give me
- 27:55Speaker 5: the team that you think will be the biggest loser.
- 27:57Speaker 5: How many points will they lose by? Well, nothing really
- 28:00Speaker 5: jumped out at me this week.
- 28:02Speaker 8: I do think the Bills are going to beat the Patriots,
- 28:04Speaker 8: but I don't know. I just didn't get a gut
- 28:07Speaker 8: feeling from any of them. So I am going to
- 28:10Speaker 8: go with a pick that I think will make Woody
- 28:13Speaker 8: very mad. The Titans losing to the Ravens. It's not
- 28:18Speaker 8: going to make me mad. I pick the same team.
- 28:21Speaker 8: Anything with Baltimore, though.
- 28:23Speaker 5: Yeah, because the Titans, they stink so bad.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 28:26Speaker 5: And the Ravens' offense is, you know, they're good. They
- 28:30Speaker 5: put points on the board. They're definitely favored to win. Now,
- 28:32Speaker 5: the Titans suck. They just lost to the Giants. Now, granted,
- 28:35Speaker 5: the Ravens also lost to Dallas, but only by three.
- 28:38Speaker 5: And I like to go bold, like I like to
- 28:40Speaker 5: triple yester in the DUIQ. I like to just get crazy.
- 28:43Speaker 5: So I'm going to say that the Titans lose by 17.
- 28:46Speaker 5: By 17. All right, so Titans by 17. What's the
- 28:51Speaker 5: line on that game? I think it was like 11 points.
- 28:53Speaker 3: 11 and a half.
- 28:54Speaker 5: 11 and a half. All right, Menace, your pick.
- 28:57Speaker 12: Well, I do see a lot of interesting games. I
- 29:01Speaker 12: first looked at Bills over Patriots because the Patriots just
- 29:04Speaker 12: lost so hard last week. But that's not a completely
- 29:09Speaker 12: safe bet. Also, Vikings over Dolphins, but still not a
- 29:14Speaker 12: safe bet. So I was going with the safest one,
- 29:17Speaker 12: which I agree is Titans losing to the Ravens. But
- 29:22Speaker 12: I'm only going to go by 14 points.
- 29:25Speaker 5: By 14, which is exactly how many points I picked.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 5: I said 14. Jeff, who do you like?
- 29:31Speaker 3: You know what? I'm going to go different.
- 29:32Speaker 10: I do like that game. I think that's probably going
- 29:35Speaker 10: to be the one. But I'm going to go with
- 29:37Speaker 10: the Dolphins and Vikings. Vikings are home.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Home.
- 29:40Speaker 3: They always do really well there. We know what the
- 29:43Speaker 3: Dolphins are, just crap.
- 29:44Speaker 5: Garbage. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Basura.
- 29:46Speaker 10: So we're going to go ahead and go with the Vikings.
- 29:48Speaker 10: I say it'll be 13 points.
- 29:50Speaker 3: What do you think about it?
- 29:51Speaker 5: So actually, you're picking the Dolphins to be the biggest loser. Yes.
- 29:54Speaker 5: So Dolphins, and they'll lose by 13. Yeah.
- 29:56Speaker 12: What do you think about Giants over Cardinals? I mean,
- 29:59Speaker 12: Cardinals look kind of good at that game against the 49ers, though.
- 30:04Speaker 10: Giants aren't very good, dude. Jameis Winston has not checked
- 30:06Speaker 10: in as quarterback yet. Mentally, he's not there.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Yeah, but what about they got J.J. McCarthy, yeah?
- 30:10Speaker 3: Yeah, but how much better is that?
- 30:12Speaker 5: It's not much better.
- 30:14Speaker 3: So do you think Cardinals are going to take that game?
- 30:16Speaker 3: I do think Cardinals will win that game.
- 30:17Speaker 8: You do?
- 30:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:18Speaker 3: I don't know about him. I think it'll be close.
- 30:20Speaker 5: What was the deal with why cut Odell Beckham Jr.
- 30:25Speaker 3: I don't know. Maybe he just doesn't have it anymore.
- 30:27Speaker 5: Doesn't have it. I mean, he barely got an opportunity.
- 30:30Speaker 5: Really didn't give him any balls.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Yeah, but, too, like.
- 30:33Speaker 5: They didn't.
- 30:34Speaker 2: No, I know.
- 30:35Speaker 5: They gave him, like, really no opportunity.
- 30:36Speaker 3: He's been going team to team for years now, though.
- 30:38Speaker 3: He has.
- 30:39Speaker 5: I mean, he's in that part of his career, for sure.
- 30:41Speaker 5: I mean, he's washed, I think. And they probably just
- 30:43Speaker 5: took him three games to figure.
- 30:44Speaker 3: Out he's washed. Yeah.
- 30:45Speaker 5: Dude, Joey Porter Jr. going to the Cowboys. I like
- 30:50Speaker 5: that guy a lot. He's a good player. But, dude,
- 30:52Speaker 5: all the faking of injuries... You know what I mean?
- 30:55Speaker 5: And the Steelers have been really good about, you know,
- 30:58Speaker 5: whether it's Antonio Brown or Le'Veon Bell or, you know,
- 31:01Speaker 5: any of these guys who end up being like, you know,
- 31:04Speaker 5: nut jobs, you know, George Pickens.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Yeah, they cut him right away.
- 31:08Speaker 5: They do. And, you know, they move on. And a
- 31:12Speaker 5: lot of these guys, I mean, you know, George Pickens
- 31:14Speaker 5: has been okay with Dallas, but not like a superstar.
- 31:17Speaker 5: Everybody else is kind of flamed out.
- 31:19Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 3: You know? Yeah.
- 31:21Speaker 5: But man, that bums me out. I wanted him to
- 31:23Speaker 5: stick around. I mean, look, his dad was nuts too,
- 31:25Speaker 5: but he was our guy.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Our guy.
- 31:28Speaker 5: Yeah, he was our guy.
- 31:29Speaker 3: You got to tell them that story about the gift.
- 31:32Speaker 8: Oh, yeah.
- 31:32Speaker 5: So I got a gift from the Steelers. I got
- 31:36Speaker 5: home one day and there was a FedEx from the Steelers.
- 31:40Speaker 5: This is like back in like April.
- 31:42Speaker 8: Right.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Yeah, April.
- 31:44Speaker 5: And I got home like, what the hell is this?
- 31:45Speaker 5: I opened it up and inside... is an autographed Joey
- 31:50Speaker 5: Porter Jr. jersey. I'm like, crap. And now he's like, dude,
- 31:55Speaker 5: every time, I tell you, man.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Did you get behind somebody? It's true.
- 31:59Speaker 5: It's really why I've stopped buying jerseys. I used to
- 32:02Speaker 5: get a new jersey every once in a while.
- 32:03Speaker 3: And you would spend so much time figuring out who
- 32:05Speaker 3: to buy.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Right.
- 32:07Speaker 5: And so it was the kiss of day. It was
- 32:09Speaker 5: the Madden cover curse.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 32:11Speaker 5: Every time I'd get a Jersey, they're out. And so
- 32:14Speaker 5: I just, I'm like, Oh wow.
- 32:15Speaker 3: It's so nice.
- 32:15Speaker 5: And I, you know, sent the, Oh, thank you so
- 32:17Speaker 5: much for sending.
- 32:18Speaker 3: That's so nice. Thank you.
- 32:18Speaker 5: Really appreciate it.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 32:20Speaker 5: And now he's already off the team.
- 32:22Speaker 3: Some bitch. You never got behind Pickett, though.
- 32:26Speaker 5: Kenny Pickett?
- 32:27Speaker 11: Never.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Yeah, so you have that.
- 32:28Speaker 15: Never.
- 32:29Speaker 10: You know what you got to do is you buy
- 32:30Speaker 10: yourself a Lamar Jackson jersey so.
- 32:32Speaker 3: You curse him. Never. That helps you hate for the Ravens.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Then he ends up on the Steelers.
- 32:37Speaker 5: I don't like the color purple. I won't even order
- 32:41Speaker 5: crab cakes. I hate that frigging team so much. All right,
- 32:45Speaker 5: we're going to take a quick break. More Woody shows next.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Hang on.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Woody show.
- 32:51Speaker 3: The Woody show returns right after these.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Only three meals a day? I don't know how I'll
- 32:59Speaker 2: do it. Woody show.
- 33:19Speaker 5: I got to love Dr.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Now.
- 33:21Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 33:21Speaker 3: That was the best.
- 33:23Speaker 5: He's super worried about you.
- 33:25Speaker 2: You look like mac and cheese.
- 33:27Speaker 5: Woody, Greg, Menace, Gina Grad.
- 33:29Speaker 3: Phones open 877-44-WOODY. Send us a text over to 22987.
- 33:32Speaker 5: All right. So divorce lawyers were asked a question. And
- 33:46Speaker 5: some of what they said was really interesting, man. Like
- 33:48Speaker 5: people are wilding out out there, man. What are some
- 33:53Speaker 5: of the wildest stuff couples did to or have kept
- 33:57Speaker 5: from one another?
- 33:59Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 34:00Speaker 5: God, you got to believe, man.
- 34:02Speaker 4: I got to see this.
- 34:02Speaker 5: They've heard so much stuff.
- 34:04Speaker 8: What secrets they've been keeping?
- 34:05Speaker 5: So like divorce lawyers, you know, always dealing with people, right?
- 34:09Speaker 5: And some of the crazy stuff, oh, well, she or he, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 34:13Speaker 5: What are some of the wildest stuff that couples either
- 34:15Speaker 5: did to or have kept from one another that came
- 34:18Speaker 5: out in the process of the divorce? Oh, I got
- 34:20Speaker 5: to hear this. Maybe that led to the divorce stuff.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Secret families, for sure.
- 34:25Speaker 5: Oh, it's in there.
- 34:26Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 34:26Speaker 3: It's in there.
- 34:27Speaker 5: Yeah, this is the couple split because the wife had
- 34:29Speaker 5: been having an affair throughout her last three marriages.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Oh.
- 34:33Speaker 5: The affair was with her first boyfriend, and that same
- 34:36Speaker 5: guy was also her stepbrother.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Oh!
- 34:39Speaker 4: Because I was going to say, just marry him. Totally.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Oh, my God. I mean, I guess you could, yeah.
- 34:46Speaker 5: This other divorce lawyer, the husband went back into the
- 34:49Speaker 5: house to grab his things before moving out while the
- 34:52Speaker 5: wife was at work. And before he left, he super
- 34:55Speaker 5: glued everything she owned, the remote to the table, the
- 34:58Speaker 5: phone to its cradle, the vacuum to the carpet, everything.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Okay, but as somebody who loves petty, you have to
- 35:04Speaker 4: think that's kind of funny.
- 35:05Speaker 5: It's pretty great.
- 35:07Speaker 3: I don't like that.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Like, he didn't steal it. He didn't break it.
- 35:10Speaker 5: It depends on what she did.
- 35:11Speaker 3: I guess, but still.
- 35:13Speaker 5: What if she's the woman we just heard about the
- 35:15Speaker 5: last three marriages been having the affairs with the stepbrothers?
- 35:17Speaker 4: Yeah, she should be so lucky they just superglued a
- 35:20Speaker 4: remote to the coffee table.
- 35:21Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 35:22Speaker 5: This one. What's some of the wildest stuff that couples
- 35:25Speaker 5: did to or have kept from one another? The husband
- 35:28Speaker 5: was not only cheating on his wife, but had an
- 35:31Speaker 5: entire second family and had hidden $ 14 million... In a secret,
- 35:37Speaker 5: separate bank account.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Whoa.
- 35:39Speaker 3: Okay. Now that's cool.
- 35:40Speaker 5: Okay.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Which one would you end up being more pissed about?
- 35:43Speaker 3: The money.
- 35:45Speaker 4: There you go.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Like, wait, you were a multimillionaire this whole time?
- 35:50Speaker 14: They probably already were, though.
- 35:51Speaker 5: Right?
- 35:52Speaker 16: Like, if he can hide $ 14 million, they already have millions.
- 35:55Speaker 4: Let's just say you were a normal family. Would you
- 35:56Speaker 4: be more pissed about the second family or the $ 14
- 35:58Speaker 4: million that he wasn't going to share with you?
- 36:00Speaker 3: I mean, if he's, like, having you buy everything, then, yeah,
- 36:04Speaker 3: I'd be kind of upset. Yeah. Whatever.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Over his second family.
- 36:08Speaker 16: Yeah, if I'm cutting coupons on my Sunday and he
- 36:10Speaker 16: has $ 14 million.
- 36:11Speaker 8: Because you're going to split up with him anyway, so
- 36:13Speaker 8: you might as well be more pissed about the money
- 36:15Speaker 8: at that point.
- 36:15Speaker 16: True.
- 36:15Speaker 8: Hey, secret family, now that's your problem.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 36:19Speaker 5: Hey, man, I got a friend. Both of his parents were,
- 36:24Speaker 5: when they were working, school teachers. And they squirreled away
- 36:28Speaker 5: a bunch of money. And then they had good investments
- 36:30Speaker 5: and they took those. They squirreled that money away that
- 36:32Speaker 5: the investments were making. And so they ended up retiring,
- 36:35Speaker 5: and they're multimillionaires. They give away hundreds of thousands of
- 36:40Speaker 5: dollars a year.
- 36:40Speaker 3: What?
- 36:41Speaker 5: Yeah, in like charity stuff, like back to school and
- 36:44Speaker 5: teacher-related causes and things like that. So you don't know.
- 36:48Speaker 5: You can't necessarily be like, oh, well, they were teachers.
- 36:51Speaker 5: You wouldn't think that they would have that kind of money.
- 36:53Speaker 4: And they still have a pension.
- 36:54Speaker 5: You don't know. So maybe they weren't living like multimillionaires.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Maybe this person, the– Maybe the husband just had this
- 37:01Speaker 5: kind of going on the side and it just kept,
- 37:03Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know how long they were married.
- 37:04Speaker 5: It just kept compounding. And maybe he.
- 37:06Speaker 3: Bought Bitcoin at 10 cents or something, you know, maybe. No,
- 37:10Speaker 3: no idea.
- 37:10Speaker 5: All right. So before a divorce lawyers were asked, what's
- 37:12Speaker 5: some of the wildest stuff that couples did to or
- 37:14Speaker 5: have kept from one another? The husband worked as a physician.
- 37:18Speaker 5: The wife was a hairstylist. They split because the husband
- 37:21Speaker 5: lied about having a long-term disease to the wife and
- 37:24Speaker 5: her family and forced her to take on multiple jobs
- 37:28Speaker 5: while he quit his.
- 37:30Speaker 2: Ew.
- 37:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:32Speaker 8: He didn't want to work.
- 37:34Speaker 5: The couple had two kids with one belonging to the
- 37:36Speaker 5: wife from a previous relationship. Turns out she was going
- 37:40Speaker 5: to make the husband pay child support while secretly collecting
- 37:43Speaker 5: child support from her ex.
- 37:45Speaker 8: Wow.
- 37:45Speaker 5: And he never knew about it.
- 37:47Speaker 4: That's a scam.
- 37:48Speaker 5: Yeah, never knew about it.
- 37:50Speaker 3: That's pretty good.
- 37:50Speaker 5: That's mean.
- 37:51Speaker 8: I think some victim shaming is in order for people
- 37:54Speaker 8: whose spouse has a secret family. Do not question where
- 37:58Speaker 8: they are, what they're doing.
- 38:00Speaker 3: How do you not juggle that?
- 38:02Speaker 4: I'm way on business.
- 38:03Speaker 5: I don't know how you pull that off. I just
- 38:05Speaker 5: can't fathom. What do they think you are all the time?
- 38:08Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 38:09Speaker 8: I mean, I guess if you have a job that
- 38:11Speaker 8: requires lots of travel, but even then, you don't get
- 38:13Speaker 8: a phone call. And then the secret family themselves, do
- 38:16Speaker 8: they know that they're married?
- 38:17Speaker 4: I always assume the secret family knows there's another family.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Yeah. That's my feeling. At least in the situations that
- 38:22Speaker 3: I know of who I have friends.
- 38:24Speaker 6: Plural?
- 38:25Speaker 3: How many secret families? All those secret families you know?
- 38:28Speaker 3: I probably know, I would say two to three people.
- 38:31Speaker 12: The third person kind of doesn't admit it, but they
- 38:34Speaker 12: have another family in Mexico and the- The family in
- 38:37Speaker 12: Mexico knows that there's another family in America.
- 38:40Speaker 3: See, that would make it easier because at least they know,
- 38:42Speaker 3: don't call. Yeah, exactly. But it doesn't go the other
- 38:45Speaker 3: way around.
- 38:46Speaker 5: That's what I was going to say. Like, one of
- 38:49Speaker 5: the families knows. They would have to. Well, maybe not
- 38:53Speaker 5: the kids from the second family, but.
- 38:56Speaker 4: The moms in cahoots.
- 38:57Speaker 5: Yeah, like the other woman knows... that this dude has
- 39:01Speaker 5: his other family who doesn't know about them.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Yes.
- 39:03Speaker 5: And so she's able to go along with that, but
- 39:06Speaker 5: also to tell the kids like, you know, oh, you know,
- 39:09Speaker 5: your dad and I aren't like together, even though they
- 39:12Speaker 5: kind of are.
- 39:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 39:14Speaker 5: Or your dad has got a job. He's on the
- 39:16Speaker 5: road all the time. Something like that.
- 39:18Speaker 4: She's got to help finesse the lie.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Right.
- 39:20Speaker 5: Like somebody has to know because there's no way.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Oh, you'd go insane.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:23Speaker 5: There's no way you can balance both.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 39:26Speaker 4: I'm sure it's been done.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Let's see. Oh, This one says the couple that split
- 39:33Speaker 5: had two dogs. The husband got one of them and
- 39:36Speaker 5: one of the other one. But the wife said that
- 39:38Speaker 5: she should get it because he already had the one.
- 39:41Speaker 5: So they split it equally. He reluctantly agreed. So she
- 39:45Speaker 5: got the dog only to put it down the next
- 39:48Speaker 5: day just so she could hurt her now ex-husband.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 39:52Speaker 4: That's so evil. Okay. It's so funny, too. Like, that's
- 39:58Speaker 4: what we react to. But it's true.
- 39:59Speaker 3: That's horrible.
- 40:00Speaker 5: Divorce lawyers. Divorce lawyers asked, what are some of the
- 40:03Speaker 5: wildest stuff the couple's either done to or have kept
- 40:06Speaker 5: from one another? The husband gambled away $ 70, 000 of their savings.
- 40:11Speaker 5: The wife didn't know until she filed for divorce. She
- 40:14Speaker 5: ended up hitting him in the head with a hammer
- 40:17Speaker 5: and was arrested.
- 40:18Speaker 4: At first, I felt really sorry for her. Then it
- 40:21Speaker 4: took a turn.
- 40:23Speaker 5: And here, I'll give you one more. The husband had
- 40:25Speaker 5: a hardcore porn addiction.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Sweet.
- 40:27Speaker 5: Pretty normal until they found out it was specifically goat porn.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Oh, that's a genre.
- 40:32Speaker 3: That's a genre. Yeah, that's weird.
- 40:34Speaker 14: On the dark web.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:36Speaker 5: That's weird.
- 40:37Speaker 3: That's it for goat adventures.
- 40:38Speaker 5: No more goat adventures.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Good God.
- 40:42Speaker 5: By the way, the jobs with the highest divorce rate.
- 40:45Speaker 5: Number one, healthcare practitioners. Well, I've seen Grey's Anatomy.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:49Speaker 5: It seems like everybody's hooking up.
- 40:50Speaker 3: They're insatiable. It was pretty much a documentary. Number two, telemarketers.
- 40:55Speaker 5: You can't trust them.
- 40:57Speaker 4: Yeah, sure.
- 40:58Speaker 5: Massage therapists. That makes sense. Bus drivers.
- 41:03Speaker 3: What?
- 41:04Speaker 5: Press machine operators. Care service supervisors. Correctional supervisors. Like working
- 41:11Speaker 5: at jails and prisons.
- 41:12Speaker 3: I guess, right?
- 41:14Speaker 5: Ambulance drivers and attendants. Right back to the medical stuff.
- 41:17Speaker 4: I had none of these on my list.
- 41:19Speaker 5: Psychiatric aides and then practical nurses.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah. The ambulance drivers thing, though. Yeah. The EMT.
- 41:28Speaker 5: I guess you're hanging around, you know, waiting for calls.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 41:31Speaker 5: Is that EMT?
- 41:32Speaker 3: They get down, man. Do they?
- 41:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:35Speaker 12: I think they just kind of like give each other
- 41:36Speaker 12: mouth to mouth. They're so numb to everything. You know,
- 41:39Speaker 12: they see like.
- 41:40Speaker 3: Crazy stuff.
- 41:41Speaker 5: Where you're spending all this time together. Yeah, you're having
- 41:43Speaker 5: these big traumatic emotional experiences together.
- 41:47Speaker 8: There's a bed right behind you.
- 41:49Speaker 3: Right. Yeah.
- 41:50Speaker 4: I always assumed it's like pilots or somebody who's always
- 41:52Speaker 4: on the road.
- 41:53Speaker 14: Yeah, traveling.
- 41:54Speaker 5: Keep in mind, these are the highest divorce rates, not
- 41:58Speaker 5: necessarily cheating.
- 41:59Speaker 3: Right.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Got it.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Got it.
- 42:00Speaker 5: I always read that as cheating, but there are other
- 42:04Speaker 5: reasons that people get divorced.
- 42:06Speaker 3: Of course.
- 42:06Speaker 5: It's not just cheating.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Money.
- 42:11Speaker 5: Well, we're officially into the month of October. A lot
- 42:16Speaker 5: of people excited about Halloween. That's a thing. Fall, just
- 42:21Speaker 5: in general, although Greg says if you're a person who's
- 42:25Speaker 5: excited about fall, you had better have a vagina because
- 42:29Speaker 5: it says that's for girls.
- 42:30Speaker 3: For girls.
- 42:31Speaker 5: That's for girls.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Fall excitement is very girly. For girls. Don't you agree?
- 42:35Speaker 5: He said for girls and for gays.
- 42:37Speaker 3: And for gay guys.
- 42:37Speaker 5: Yeah, and for gay guys.
- 42:40Speaker 4: Greg, would you agree with this? My gay friends always
- 42:42Speaker 4: say there's only two seasons, pool party and scarf.
- 42:45Speaker 3: I would totally disagree.
- 42:46Speaker 7: Oh, really?
- 42:47Speaker 3: My fantasy is year-round summer. True. Fall, because what do
- 42:51Speaker 3: you get excited about? Boots, scarves, hair. And you know
- 42:55Speaker 3: what else?
- 42:55Speaker 5: It's October.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Yes.
- 42:58Speaker 5: Menace's birthday month.
- 43:00Speaker 11: It's October, and you know what that means. It's Menace's
- 43:07Speaker 11: birthday month. The countdown is on.
- 43:12Speaker 9: Yep.
- 43:14Speaker 5: Menace is the only dude I have ever known to
- 43:18Speaker 5: be this excited about his birthday, where it's not even
- 43:20Speaker 5: the birthday. It's not a birthday weekend. Some people even do, oh,
- 43:24Speaker 5: it's my birthday week.
- 43:25Speaker 4: Yeah, you're really stretching it.
- 43:27Speaker 5: No, dude, he does an entire month. He wants a
- 43:29Speaker 5: whole month. Of celebration over his birth.
- 43:33Speaker 3: It's a bucket list. They knock things out, you.
- 43:37Speaker 10: Know, as you get older.
- 43:37Speaker 3: That makes it different. Yeah. Thank you.
- 43:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, you know, you get these girls, you know,
- 43:42Speaker 5: that we look up during the porno birthdays, like, see
- 43:45Speaker 5: basketball and see what's on their Amazon wish list or,
- 43:47Speaker 5: you know, whatever.
- 43:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 43:48Speaker 5: Yeah. It's basically kind of the same thing, right?
- 43:53Speaker 3: I don't think so.
- 43:54Speaker 15: No?
- 43:54Speaker 3: No. You check things off.
- 43:57Speaker 5: I ask my kids, you know, I ask my kids, like,
- 43:59Speaker 5: all right, What do you want for your birthday? It's
- 44:02Speaker 5: their wish list.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:03Speaker 5: This is what you want for your birthday.
- 44:04Speaker 12: Yeah, but it's more of a milestone bucket list.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Did I get a copy of this? I do have
- 44:08Speaker 3: the copy for you right here. Oh, thank you. It's
- 44:11Speaker 3: like the Oscars announcements. He has to keep them very undercover.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Somebody's guarding a briefcase.
- 44:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it's handcuffed to someone's wrist. All right, well, here
- 44:21Speaker 5: we go. Now, keep in mind, for anybody listening, if
- 44:24Speaker 5: anybody out there has any kind of inside... Contacts. Contacts,
- 44:29Speaker 5: any way to maybe help Menace check some of these
- 44:31Speaker 5: things off of his... bucket list, not to be confused
- 44:35Speaker 5: with the wishlist. Let us know. You can hit us
- 44:37Speaker 5: up either on the text over to 22987 or send
- 44:40Speaker 5: us an email, email at thewoodyshow.com. All right, Menace, number
- 44:44Speaker 5: one on the birthday month list for this year. Well,
- 44:47Speaker 5: let's just come in hot on the first one. I
- 44:51Speaker 5: want to do an extreme weekend trip to Raising Cane's
- 44:54Speaker 5: in London.
- 44:55Speaker 12: Now, if no one will fund this, I will fund
- 45:00Speaker 12: for one listener to go to Coach to London.
- 45:05Speaker 3: I will go with them. You'll fly coach too? Yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 3: I'll fly coach too as well. All right.
- 45:10Speaker 5: You've lost me.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I'm out.
- 45:11Speaker 8: Okay.
- 45:11Speaker 5: I like the extreme weekend trip. I'm in.
- 45:13Speaker 3: I'm in company on this trip.
- 45:14Speaker 5: This sounds awesome.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:15Speaker 12: So we will leave on a Friday evening. We'll land
- 45:20Speaker 12: Saturday afternoon in London. We'll go to Raising Cane's. We'll
- 45:24Speaker 12: probably get to London around 3 in the afternoon. We'll
- 45:27Speaker 12: hit up Raising Cane's. We'll probably hit up Oxford Street.
- 45:30Speaker 12: And then if, you know, Wembley has a concert or a- O2, perhaps?
- 45:35Speaker 3: R2 or anything going on. O2.
- 45:37Speaker 12: Yeah, we'll go hit that up. And then we'll leave
- 45:40Speaker 12: by 3 p.m. on Sunday and be back home by
- 45:42Speaker 12: 7 p.m.
- 45:44Speaker 5: So there's a one-night stay in there?
- 45:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:46Speaker 3: So one-night stay, I will cover the one-night stay. Because
- 45:48Speaker 3: London isn't that far. It's not Dubai.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:52Speaker 3: So, yeah, it'll be fine.
- 45:53Speaker 1: All right.
- 45:53Speaker 5: All right, number two. Extreme weekend trip to the Raising
- 45:57Speaker 5: Cane's in London.
- 45:58Speaker 12: Yeah, and that's going to be opening pretty soon. So
- 46:01Speaker 12: we'll get away this month and then we'll figure out
- 46:05Speaker 12: the date later.
- 46:06Speaker 3: All right, number two.
- 46:08Speaker 12: Stay the night at the Incredibles house. Now, Disney has
- 46:12Speaker 12: built the Incredible house. You can't rent it currently. But
- 46:17Speaker 12: they are letting people stay in it. I have seen
- 46:19Speaker 12: people do it online. So if anybody knows anybody at Cotino,
- 46:24Speaker 12: where this house is located... What is it?
- 46:26Speaker 5: Cotino?
- 46:27Speaker 3: Cotino. It's a story living by Disney. Now it's a
- 46:30Speaker 3: community that Disney is putting together. Oh, hell yeah.
- 46:31Speaker 5: I know what you're talking about.
- 46:33Speaker 3: So the house is done. It's there. It's sitting.
- 46:35Speaker 12: I've stood in front of the house before, but I've
- 46:38Speaker 12: not been able to go inside it. So if you
- 46:40Speaker 12: know anybody... that can get me inside. That'd be great.
- 46:43Speaker 3: Okay.
- 46:44Speaker 12: Now, number three, I go to LAX airport quite often. Um,
- 46:48Speaker 12: I fly in and out of there and there's always
- 46:50Speaker 12: a plane parked out there that I see. And I
- 46:53Speaker 12: would like to go on this plane. Uh, I'd like
- 46:56Speaker 12: to get a ride on it and I, wherever it's going,
- 46:59Speaker 12: I'll go with it. And then I can find my
- 47:02Speaker 12: way back.
- 47:02Speaker 3: It's fine. Now, SpaceX has a 737. Have you seen
- 47:06Speaker 3: this Woody?
- 47:07Speaker 2: No.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:07Speaker 12: They have a 737 parked out there all the time.
- 47:10Speaker 12: You can see the, the SpaceX logo on it, and
- 47:13Speaker 12: it's an employee plane. So I'm assuming they maybe go
- 47:17Speaker 12: to Austin, back and forth, whatever. I'm willing to go
- 47:21Speaker 12: on the plane if somebody can get me on.
- 47:22Speaker 3: He's willing to.
- 47:24Speaker 5: He'll do you that favor.
- 47:25Speaker 3: Perhaps Elon, hello?
- 47:26Speaker 5: It doesn't matter where it's going.
- 47:27Speaker 3: It doesn't matter where it's going.
- 47:28Speaker 5: Just the one way.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Just the one way. Okay. That'd be fun. All right.
- 47:32Speaker 3: All right.
- 47:33Speaker 12: Now, number four is I would like to learn how
- 47:37Speaker 12: to surf. I've tried before in Hawaii, and I wasn't
- 47:41Speaker 12: really that great at it. And then I tried to
- 47:43Speaker 12: do it in other places. The water was way too cold,
- 47:46Speaker 12: and I was a puss, so I got out. There's
- 47:48Speaker 12: this new place called Desert Surf where you can learn
- 47:51Speaker 12: to surf, kind of like those surf ranches. This is
- 47:54Speaker 12: a surf lagoon. And they just kind of opened it
- 47:57Speaker 12: up to the public, so it's not quite where you
- 48:00Speaker 12: can just go and do it. But I would like
- 48:03Speaker 12: to go and learn how to surf, and I would
- 48:05Speaker 12: like to take a listener with me that would like
- 48:06Speaker 12: to learn how to surf. So if anybody knows anybody
- 48:09Speaker 12: at Desert Surf, I would like to go do that.
- 48:12Speaker 3: All right.
- 48:13Speaker 5: This is Menace's birthday month. He calls it a bucket list,
- 48:16Speaker 5: but it's a wish list. These are things he's wanting
- 48:19Speaker 5: to do.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Okay.
- 48:21Speaker 12: Number five is going to sound kind of weird, but
- 48:23Speaker 12: this is going to benefit all the listeners.
- 48:26Speaker 3: I'm telling you.
- 48:27Speaker 12: So there's this guy named Zach and a girl named
- 48:30Speaker 12: Kate that works at Cash App HQ.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Okay. Okay.
- 48:34Speaker 12: These guys are the ones that run everything that involves
- 48:38Speaker 12: their events.
- 48:39Speaker 3: Cash App is at every single event. Listeners, I'm telling
- 48:42Speaker 3: you that you want to be at. Dude, I saw
- 48:44Speaker 3: them at my farmer's market. They were there. Yeah, dude.
- 48:47Speaker 12: So they're at WWE events. They're at the Super Bowl.
- 48:50Speaker 12: They're having events there as well. Of course, they're at F1.
- 48:55Speaker 12: I see them there all the time. They have these
- 48:57Speaker 12: really cool pop-ups where they do a thing called Greenhouse
- 49:01Speaker 12: where they teach kids about.
- 49:03Speaker 3: Education and finance.
- 49:04Speaker 5: That's what I saw. Yeah, they're doing all these cool things.
- 49:07Speaker 12: I would like to meet these people so maybe we
- 49:09Speaker 12: can do cool things together.
- 49:10Speaker 5: So meet Zach and Kate.
- 49:14Speaker 3: Are they a couple? Do we know? No, no, no.
- 49:17Speaker 3: If it is Kate, it's Kat. Kat.
- 49:20Speaker 5: Otherwise there's a typo.
- 49:21Speaker 12: Zach and Kat at Cash App HQ.
- 49:26Speaker 3: If anybody knows them, tell them to hit us up.
- 49:29Speaker 12: All right, number six. Now, a lot of people hit
- 49:32Speaker 12: me up. They knew I was putting this list together.
- 49:35Speaker 12: They want to go to the George Lucas Museum, and
- 49:38Speaker 12: I would love for us to do maybe a field
- 49:40Speaker 12: trip together.
- 49:41Speaker 3: That'd be great.
- 49:42Speaker 5: Is that hard to get access to?
- 49:44Speaker 3: It's not, but maybe a large group it might be,
- 49:47Speaker 3: because I know that they... It's a museum, right?
- 49:50Speaker 5: It's not an invite-only thing, right?
- 49:52Speaker 3: No, it's not.
- 49:54Speaker 5: But they limit the number of passes you can get,
- 49:56Speaker 5: so I don't know how... Well, I ask because I
- 49:58Speaker 5: know there's the Lucas Ranch, and that's like an invite.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Yeah, Skywalker Grill.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Yes.
- 50:04Speaker 17: No, no, no.
- 50:05Speaker 5: I'm talking about something else like in Northern California.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Yeah, the ranch.
- 50:08Speaker 5: There's a Lucas Ranch or something like that.
- 50:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I've been to the ranch a couple times.
- 50:12Speaker 5: But that's like you've got to know somebody or you've
- 50:14Speaker 5: got to be invited, right?
- 50:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Okay, that's a private residence. I'm talking about
- 50:18Speaker 3: the museum. Perhaps with some buffet. Buffet. All right, number eight.
- 50:23Speaker 12: Now, I want to have a screening with listeners of
- 50:26Speaker 12: the new Street Fighter movie.
- 50:27Speaker 3: That would be cool, right? That would be fun. Yeah,
- 50:29Speaker 3: so we just need to find a movie theater. I
- 50:30Speaker 3: think you skipped that.
- 50:31Speaker 5: You went from six to eight.
- 50:32Speaker 4: This would be seven.
- 50:33Speaker 3: Oh, number seven. Sorry.
- 50:35Speaker 5: He gets excited.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 50:36Speaker 3: Number seven. This is a big one. I would like
- 50:39Speaker 3: to take a ride on the Goodyear Blimp.
- 50:41Speaker 15: Okay.
- 50:41Speaker 4: I could probably be done.
- 50:42Speaker 5: That's cool. I would do that.
- 50:44Speaker 3: Heck yeah. Let's do it.
- 50:45Speaker 5: Number nine.
- 50:46Speaker 12: I would like to go to two F1 races this month. Now,
- 50:49Speaker 12: there's one in Malaysia. There's one in Singapore, Austin, and
- 50:53Speaker 12: Mexico City. So I got to figure that out. Number 10,
- 50:57Speaker 12: I would like to have a.
- 51:00Speaker 3: Listener party at K1 Speed Indoor Car Track.
- 51:04Speaker 5: Oh, it's so fun.
- 51:05Speaker 4: Oh, I've done it. It's so fun.
- 51:07Speaker 12: They have over 107 locations. So if there's one location
- 51:10Speaker 12: that will let us have a party at one, that
- 51:12Speaker 12: would be pretty cool. Number 11, I would like to
- 51:16Speaker 12: give away not one, but two 98-inch televisions this time.
- 51:20Speaker 8: Ooh.
- 51:21Speaker 12: So I would like to do one at an event
- 51:23Speaker 12: in person and then one on our Instagram, at The
- 51:26Speaker 12: Woody Show on Instagram. So make sure you follow us
- 51:29Speaker 12: on Instagram, at The Woody Show right now.
- 51:31Speaker 5: Menace's birthday month wishlist for 2026. We're almost done, guys.
- 51:35Speaker 5: But number 12, Greg.
- 51:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:38Speaker 3: I would either like to have Dr. Terry Dubrow- Or
- 51:42Speaker 3: Jeff Lewis on the show. Oh, my God.
- 51:46Speaker 5: Dr. Dubrow is the plastic surgery guy.
- 51:48Speaker 12: Yeah, he's the one that fixes everybody's messed up plastic surgery.
- 51:52Speaker 3: He's a god. And he's great.
- 51:54Speaker 12: I've heard so many interviews with him where he can
- 51:57Speaker 12: answer all your medical questions, and he does it in
- 52:00Speaker 12: a fun way. So I'd love to have him on.
- 52:02Speaker 12: If we can't get him on. Jeff Lewis would be
- 52:05Speaker 12: just as good. And he is so funny. And he
- 52:09Speaker 12: would love to talk to him about home remodeling.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Also, he just has a new TV show.
- 52:13Speaker 4: Is that why I'm seeing him all of a sudden
- 52:15Speaker 4: and I didn't know who he was?
- 52:16Speaker 3: Yeah, his OG show Flippin' Out. And then he did...
- 52:19Speaker 3: Like celebrity flipping out.
- 52:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:21Speaker 12: And he does a daily radio show. So even if
- 52:23Speaker 12: you don't know him, he is hilarious. We can throw
- 52:26Speaker 12: any topic at him and he would be funny on
- 52:28Speaker 12: the show.
- 52:28Speaker 3: And I believe the new show is called still flipping out, right?
- 52:30Speaker 1: Yes.
- 52:31Speaker 3: Yeah. He's a character. It's so good.
- 52:33Speaker 5: Flipping out celebrity, flipping out and.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Still flipping out. Jeff Lewis flipping dude. He rules. He's,
- 52:41Speaker 3: he's super fun.
- 52:42Speaker 8: All right.
- 52:42Speaker 12: Uh, the next one I would like to go to
- 52:44Speaker 12: the Apple TV plus HQ, uh, Because I need to
- 52:48Speaker 12: have them teach me how to do something with this
- 52:51Speaker 12: multi-cam view thing that they have when you're streaming F1.
- 52:56Speaker 3: Okay.
- 52:58Speaker 5: Very specific.
- 53:00Speaker 3: I don't know how to do it.
- 53:01Speaker 5: Is there not an online video somewhere that you can watch?
- 53:03Speaker 12: I'm sure, but the way that I want to do
- 53:06Speaker 12: it is much different than what I've seen online. But
- 53:08Speaker 12: I've seen one person do what I want to do.
- 53:11Speaker 5: Visit Apple TV Plus headquarters.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Yes. Got it. And then the last one.
- 53:17Speaker 12: Is stand on top of the las vegas sphere stand
- 53:21Speaker 12: on top of it yes some people have done it
- 53:23Speaker 12: already uh timothy chalamet has done it yeah but he's
- 53:28Speaker 12: lighter than we are yeah he's much lighter than we
- 53:30Speaker 12: are but i think it'd be kind of cool it's
- 53:33Speaker 12: 366 feet high hmm not.
- 53:35Speaker 4: That bad are you like like strapped to anything.
- 53:39Speaker 5: He was oh yeah i'm sure there's like a tether
- 53:41Speaker 5: of some kind that'd.
- 53:42Speaker 12: Be nice yeah But that is the list. I'll put
- 53:45Speaker 12: it out online. I'll put it on our Instagram. If
- 53:48Speaker 12: anybody knows anybody, hit us up. Email at thewoodyshow.com. Text
- 53:51Speaker 12: into the show. Or hit me up at Menace on Instagram.
- 53:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 53:56Speaker 3: A lot of stuff involves listeners. Pretty much. Like that giveaway.

- 54:03Speaker 3: to the Lucas Museum? We have.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Who wants to learn how to surf? Who wants to
- 54:10Speaker 3: go see the new Street Fighter? All that kind of stuff.
- 54:12Speaker 3: So hit us up.
- 54:13Speaker 1: All right.
- 54:13Speaker 5: So, yeah.
- 54:14Speaker 3: Giveaway.
- 54:15Speaker 5: A weekend trip to Raising Cane's in London. Extreme weekend trip.
- 54:19Speaker 5: Stay the night at the Incredibles house at Disney's Cotino,
- 54:23Speaker 5: which somebody said, can't Steamboat Willie help out with that, Sammy?
- 54:26Speaker 4: Oh, maybe. I don't know.
- 54:27Speaker 14: I don't know that that's his department, but we can see.
- 54:29Speaker 5: I'm sure he knows somebody. The house looks crazy. Get
- 54:31Speaker 5: in the company directory.
- 54:32Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 54:32Speaker 5: Get a ride on the SpaceX 737 jet.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Yes.
- 54:37Speaker 5: Learn to surf with a listener at Desert Surf. Meet
- 54:40Speaker 5: Zach and Kat from Cash App Headquarters. Have a Woody
- 54:45Speaker 5: Show field trip to the George Lucas Museum. Take a
- 54:48Speaker 5: ride on the Goodyear Blimp. Listener screening of the new
- 54:51Speaker 5: Street Fighter movie. Menace wants to attend two F1 races
- 54:56Speaker 5: in the month of October. So not just two F1 races.
- 54:59Speaker 5: They have to be in October.
- 55:00Speaker 4: For the birthday month.
- 55:01Speaker 3: Yeah. All right.
- 55:03Speaker 5: Have a listener party at K1 Speed Indoor Kart Racing.
- 55:07Speaker 3: Fun.
- 55:07Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 55:08Speaker 5: Give away not one, but two 98-inch TVs. Have Dr.
- 55:14Speaker 5: Terry Dubrow or Jeff Lewis on the show.
- 55:16Speaker 3: Or both.
- 55:17Speaker 5: Who, Jeff Lewis, you might know from Flippin' Out, Celebrity Flippin' Out,
- 55:20Speaker 5: or Still Flippin' Out. Visit Apple TV Plus headquarters. and
- 55:27Speaker 5: then stand on top of the Las Vegas sphere. That's
- 55:30Speaker 5: Menace's birthday month bucket list for 2026. Jeff, this.
- 55:36Speaker 3: Is your first experience with this whole thing.
- 55:38Speaker 10: I'm kind of naive because I was listening in the
- 55:39Speaker 10: other room, and my curiosity is, so when you go
- 55:42Speaker 10: to London or Malaysia, who pays for those trips?
- 55:46Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 55:48Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 55:49Speaker 3: Who pays for the trip? I said that the London,
- 55:52Speaker 3: if no one will finance it, I'll pay for it. Awesome.
- 55:56Speaker 3: And the F1, is that same situation?
- 56:00Speaker 12: Yeah, the F1' s fine. I did leave out the part,
- 56:02Speaker 12: have paddock access. It's on the page.
- 56:05Speaker 5: With paddock access.
- 56:07Speaker 12: Yeah, so I'll get myself to the F1 race, but
- 56:09Speaker 12: if you know anybody that has paddock access, hit me up.
- 56:13Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 56:13Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 56:13Speaker 10: I just wonder who's going to finance all this. As
- 56:16Speaker 10: a dad, that's the first thing I think about. Jeff's like,
- 56:18Speaker 10: how much is this going to cost me?
- 56:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Dad.
- 56:21Speaker 5: I need $ 100. $ 50? What do you need $ 10 for?
- 56:23Speaker 3: All right.
- 56:26Speaker 5: Well, Meds, you're going to post the list.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Yes.
- 56:28Speaker 5: Again, anything that you guys listening might be able to
- 56:30Speaker 5: help out with. We're not starting a GoFundMe. No. This
- 56:35Speaker 5: is just one of those things like if it was like-
- 56:36Speaker 5: You know somebody. Let's just say for the sake of argument,
- 56:39Speaker 5: Raising Cane stepped in. Mm-hmm. Which they should, quite honestly.
- 56:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:43Speaker 12: All the things that you've done for Raising Cane's Menace.
- 56:45Speaker 12: I know, but the people I deal with that are
- 56:47Speaker 12: not international people.
- 56:49Speaker 5: They can put a word in, just like Steamboat Willie
- 56:51Speaker 5: can put a word in. They're in the company directory.
- 56:53Speaker 12: I might actually run into Todd Graves. the uh founder
- 56:58Speaker 12: on october 24th and f1 yeah paddock yeah he's big.
- 57:01Speaker 5: In f1 so i might see him there anyway um
- 57:04Speaker 5: yeah if you can help out with any of these
- 57:05Speaker 5: things uh you can find the list it's posted not
- 57:07Speaker 5: only on our instagram and our social media channels but
- 57:10Speaker 5: also on our website just go to the woody show.com
- 57:13Speaker 5: menace's birthday month everybody.
- 57:15Speaker 8: Yes in the movie my big fat greek wedding what
- 57:17Speaker 8: did tula's parents give her as a wedding gift.
- 57:20Speaker 5: Um um.
- 57:22Speaker 3: No job.
- 57:23Speaker 2: I love America.
- 57:28Speaker 5: We got a lot of feedback from the question on
- 57:32Speaker 5: the text yesterday. Um, some woman hit us up and
- 57:37Speaker 5: she was asking, she was, Hey, I got this friend
- 57:40Speaker 5: and she's like dating all these dudes. She's looking for
- 57:42Speaker 5: a longterm relationship. And she was asking us dudes on
- 57:47Speaker 5: the show, um, Because the advice that she gave her is, hey,
- 57:50Speaker 5: stop sleeping with these guys on the first date.
- 57:53Speaker 3: Right.
- 57:53Speaker 5: Because they're not going to, you know, you're not going
- 57:55Speaker 5: to find the long-term relationship you're looking for if that's
- 57:57Speaker 5: what you're doing. Mm-hmm. And then she went on ChatGPT
- 58:01Speaker 5: and they said, well, it's not necessarily the case these days.
- 58:03Speaker 12: Mm-hmm.
- 58:04Speaker 5: Idea has changed around that. And so what are the
- 58:06Speaker 5: guys in the Woody show say? So we gave her
- 58:08Speaker 5: our two cents on that. But yeah, we got a
- 58:11Speaker 5: lot of a lot of feedback. A lot of people
- 58:13Speaker 5: were texting in about that. I did get a message here.
- 58:15Speaker 5: I'm going to leave the name out. But they said,
- 58:19Speaker 5: I knew someone who was recently divorced. And within a year,
- 58:21Speaker 5: she racked up seven more guys to her list.
- 58:24Speaker 3: That's right. And that's how you do it for her.
- 58:27Speaker 5: And I told her she was going from relationship to relationship.
- 58:31Speaker 5: and to just take time for her, and she ended
- 58:33Speaker 5: up with genital herpes.
- 58:35Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 58:36Speaker 5: The first thing she told me after telling me she
- 58:39Speaker 5: had the herp was, quote, I can't believe I was
- 58:42Speaker 5: so stupid. I should have just been single. She kept
- 58:46Speaker 5: going for these guys in her area, which isn't the greatest,
- 58:49Speaker 5: and she was looking for the blue-collar guy with the
- 58:51Speaker 5: labubu menace and only found these losers who made less
- 58:55Speaker 5: than her and worked miles away. And she makes good money, mid-
- 59:00Speaker 5: $ 100, 000 range, and these guys were making way less than
- 59:03Speaker 5: her and all had baby mama drama or would still
- 59:07Speaker 5: live with their ex.
- 59:08Speaker 3: Right. This is a selection problem. problem, not a sleeping problem. Right. Yeah.
- 59:14Speaker 5: So we got feedback all over. And by the way,
- 59:16Speaker 5: this is not like the opportunity to take up the
- 59:19Speaker 5: whole argument about like, well, if a guy does this,
- 59:22Speaker 5: one thing, and a woman does it, that wasn't the question.
- 59:24Speaker 5: In fact, I think we all gave answers that were
- 59:27Speaker 5: on topic and, you know, focused. I said, my only
- 59:31Speaker 5: thing was, why is it that you will sleep with
- 59:33Speaker 5: somebody you don't really like all that much on the
- 59:36Speaker 5: first date, but the person that you do like, you
- 59:38Speaker 5: make them wait? It seems like it should be the opposite.
- 59:40Speaker 4: It does seem like it should be.
- 59:41Speaker 3: And you're not going to turn a one-night stand into
- 59:44Speaker 3: a year-long boyfriend by not sleeping with him.
- 59:47Speaker 5: Correct.
- 59:48Speaker 4: Well, then girls need to be coached up because they're
- 59:51Speaker 4: told exactly the opposite.
- 59:53Speaker 5: That was the whole point of the question, right?
- 59:55Speaker 3: I feel like what the problem is, is we're kind
- 59:57Speaker 3: of talking around the issue, is they're told the opposite.
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: So they don't have what just happened to this lady
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: right here, but it's, it's not, one isn't going to
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: affect the other.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: You're right.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: Yeah. You don't want to have all those one night
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: stands because they're not going to go anywhere. But again,
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: you're not going to, you're going to change. You're going
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: to change our brain chemistry as guys by not sleeping
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: with us. Fellas, if you want to give us your
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: two cents, we, we did have a post on our Instagram.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: You know, there was a video from the conversation yesterday
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: and there was like a poll on there and you
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: can take the poll and you can leave us a
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: comment that is on our Instagram at the Woody show.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: Now CBAS, you had said the beginning of the year,
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: that your New Year's resolution, a goal.
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: For the year, was to get married.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: Correct.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: So what are you doing in that arena?
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: I am.
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: Is that still, I mean, we're kind of getting late
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: into the game here.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: I tell you what, I am not sleeping with anybody
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: on the first date. JK, totally am. High five.
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: Nice.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: I'm out there looking. I'm staying away from the thoughts,
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: which I, you know, because like, I'll say this. Well,
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: the thing I'm doing is like, because you see those girls,
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: And I've hooked up with a ton of dumb, slutty idiots.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: And I like, and it's not even fun anymore. Well,
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: it's fun, but it's not as like, it's not feeling right.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: It is like, I'm just gonna, I'm not gonna waste
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: my time doing that anymore. I know what that's like. Yes,
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: it's awesome. But once you've done it 50 times, you
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: can do the next thing. So that's what I'm doing.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: I'm not even entertaining those sort of opportunities.
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: Well, there was a thing, this woman, she was looking
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: to get married, 36-year-old single woman in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: And she got tired of the dating apps. And she
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: did what, like, you know, HR departments do. She made
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: a job posting, basically. She wrote a three-page husband application,
- 1:01:36Speaker 5: like a Google form, which you do love the Google stuff.
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: He loves a good Google Doc. But I hate the, I'm.
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: Going to post a billboard or I'm going to create
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: an application.
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: And so she had the Google form on her Instagram
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: bio and the results are in 241 applications. Whoa. Plus
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: somewhere between 1,000 and 1,500 DMs. She's looking for a handsome, intelligent, kind, loyal.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: Oh, you're out.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: It was closed out anyway. I think the application window
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: was closed.
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: Sorry. Damn it.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: That sucks.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: A generous man who likes coffee dates and dinner dates.
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: She broke off an engagement in 2019. She's been single
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: for three years and says that her parents' 44-year marriage
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: is what she's chasing. Here she is. Here's a picture
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: that she's got up there. She looks like she's dressed
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: for a barbershop quartet. And by the way, let's not
- 1:02:28Speaker 5: confuse me with Sam.
- 1:02:29Speaker 14: The red and white striped shirt.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: The red and white striped shirt.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: I mean, she's cute. You know what I mean?
- 1:02:34Speaker 14: She is, yeah.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: Yeah, she's cute for... She's church cute.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: Well, she's not... We see what Seabass goes after. Although,
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: I don't know if that's changed because he's now changed
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: his focus from slams to looking for marriage.
- 1:02:51Speaker 14: Right, someone he could take home to his parents.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: I've taken people home to my parents before. Yeah.
- 1:02:55Speaker 12: Are you doing the thing where experts say you need
- 1:02:57Speaker 12: to change your environment? Are you going to places that
- 1:03:00Speaker 12: you normally wouldn't go to possibly meet somebody?
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: Well, that's... Menace is hitting on a big thing for
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: guys and for girls is... If you be around what
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: you want to achieve in your life, if you're, if
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: you are hanging out at the club with club rats
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: and you know, those kinds of places, that's who you're
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: going to cook up with. I had a friend of
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: mine and I might start doing this a long time ago.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: He said to women out there, if you want a
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: successful guy, not some dirt bag, just go have lunch
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: at the hospital every day. Guess who's having lunch at
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: that cafeteria? That's who you're going to be around, exposed to.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: We all do that.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: They also say you're supposed to hang... Well, this is
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: for women. I don't know if it applies to men.
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: You're supposed to hang out in really, really fancy five-star
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: hotel lobbies.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: You could be a baby mama.
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: I knew a guy. He wasn't about to pay for college.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: He's like, you know, why would I pay for college
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: for my daughters? I'm just going to get them a
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: membership at the country club. She can go hang out
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: by the pool and, you know, just tell her the
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: first one's not for love.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: You know? The next one can be. This first one,
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: just find some young idiot... who falls head over heels
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: for you, family's got a bunch of money, get married,
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: you know, have a baby, right? If you're going to
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: pump out a baby to lock it in and you
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: didn't spend any money on college and your daughter's taking
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: care of her life.
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: Gina and Woody's friend are completely correct. If you're going
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: to go out and guys are going to hit on you,
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: why not have them be rich, successful guys?
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:04:21Speaker 11: I know.
- 1:04:22Speaker 12: I had a friend, she's like, oh yeah, it's all
- 1:04:26Speaker 12: dirt bags or whatever, blah, blah, blah. And she lives
- 1:04:28Speaker 12: in San Francisco. I go, well, literally just hang out
- 1:04:31Speaker 12: outside this place called The Battery. It's a club where
- 1:04:34Speaker 12: every tech millionaire, billionaire goes and hangs out.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: But are they less douchey?
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, they're all dorks. They're douchey, but they
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: got money. Doesn't mean they're less douchey. Tech guys are
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: not douchey.
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: They're dorks.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Yeah, they're just nerds. These are the guys who pay, like,
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: romance counselors because they are just.
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: Also true. That's true. Question on the text. Do we
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: have actual proof that Seabass is some sort of ladies' man,
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: or does he just say that to sound cool on
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: the radio?
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I would hear about. You guys have
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: met a number of the people I've been with, and
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: they've not been gross pigs, so... Mark Morgan was a
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: girl I was with a year or two ago at
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: the AVN Awards like speaking of places you want to
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: be oh there you go that's where you pick up
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: the classy.
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: Ones more Woody shows next hang on today I hope
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: you die painfully painfully painfully I hope you.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Die more Woody show is next I'm just arranging.
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: For the whole thing in there he bit it I
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: think it exploded in my mouth put the whole thing
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: in your mouth I'm gonna pass out.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: The Woody show.
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: All right. Let's see what Seabass has for us this
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: week in audio.
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: Tons of sports stuff, starting with Haruki Murakami. Haruki Murakami,
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: he plays for the White Sox, and he is a
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: sound drop machine, a sound bite machine. They're moving on
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: to the playoffs, champagne flying, and the NBC Sports anchor
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: in the locker room, knows exactly who to go to
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: because she gets answers like this. I didn't notice, like,
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: Anne's skin is, like, so smooth.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: Oh, that's not it.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Did you refresh there, number one?
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: Let's see here. All right, here we go.
- 1:06:12Speaker 14: Hey, you got to tell me, what are you feeling
- 1:06:13Speaker 14: right now?
- 1:06:14Speaker 8: 100!
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: Yeah, 100! I'm Japanese!
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: I'm drunk! Yesterday, maybe hungover.
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: Tomorrow, hungover.
- 1:06:25Speaker 7: Yes.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: No, no, yesterday.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Tomorrow.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: Yeah, sorry. I don't speak English. Oh, my God. I
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: love her. Nice.
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: Love her.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: So much excitement that they know.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: I'm drunk.
- 1:06:37Speaker 14: You got to tell me, what are you feeling right now?
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: 100.
- 1:06:40Speaker 12: Yeah, 100.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: I'm drunk.
- 1:06:47Speaker 11: Yesterday, maybe hungover.
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: Tomorrow, hungover.
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: No, no, yesterday, tomorrow.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: Yeah, sorry.
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: I don't speak English.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: But he knows drunk, and he knows yesterday, today, tomorrow.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: He knows hungover.
- 1:07:01Speaker 14: He knows he's feeling 100.
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: Yeah, he's living life in the party.
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: I'm drunk.
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: I support that.
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: This week in audio.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: All right. Sadly, Menace, Greg, Woody. Us men, we men,
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: continue to be objectified as pieces.
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: Of meat all the time. If I have one more
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: woman undressing me with their eyes.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: Right, right. It's disgusting. Minds, we have feelings.
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: That's right.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: And the cat calling, dude. I'm over it.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: Well, what makes you think you can just walk up
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: to me and just grab me? Yeah.
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: You know, my eyes are up here.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: Thank you. Well, a couple of the lady reporters were
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: at the Sacramento Kings media day and they have kind
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: of a big, you know, podium up front and there's
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: they're doing a live stream and these ladies apparently were
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: up front. so they could ogle the players. That's not okay.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: And they were talking here about Ben Simmons and Zach Levine,
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: a couple of these ladies are, and these are some
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: of the comments they were making.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: I didn't notice, like, his skin's, like, so smooth.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: I was like, damn, no tattoos? Hold on, I thought
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: Jordan Poole was your type.
- 1:08:04Speaker 14: Allegedly, I like light skins, I guess.
- 1:08:06Speaker 16: Jordan Poole.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: What about Zach Levine, then?
- 1:08:10Speaker 15: Hell of mine.
- 1:08:11Speaker 4: I think his personality annoys the shit.
- 1:08:13Speaker 14: Out of me, so that's what makes him not fun.
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Talk about their skin, call them hella fine.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: Obviously, I don't have any problem with it whatsoever. I mean,
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: but I think this is what they... But.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: If the roles were reversed.
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: Correct. And there have been stories about, you know, this
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: kind of thing where they're discussing, like, dudes are discussing,
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: you know, whoever it is.
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:33Speaker 5: And man, these guys would be ended. They want, people
- 1:08:36Speaker 5: want their heads.
- 1:08:37Speaker 12: Oh, yeah.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: If this was talking about Caitlin Clark and whoever in
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: the WNBA, they would be gone and burned to the ground.
- 1:08:44Speaker 8: A great comparison would be one of my favorites, America's
- 1:08:47Speaker 8: Got Talent. Some young shirtless guy walks out onto stage
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: and Heidi will say something like, I don't even care
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: what your talent is.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: I just want to look at you. Oh, it's so cute.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: And she's applauded for saying that. Of course.
- 1:08:59Speaker 8: But imagine if Simon Cowell said that.
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: Some chick walks out there with a thigh gap and
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: all of a sudden Simon can't control himself.
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: I'm rotting out.
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: I don't even care what your talent is.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: Just looking at your cans.
- 1:09:14Speaker 15: And that skin.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: Oh, it'd be different.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: Yeah. Terrible. Yeah.
- 1:09:19Speaker 8: So keep that in mind, Gina.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: I will.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: I'll do that. Thank you. Hashtag us too. This week
- 1:09:24Speaker 5: in audio.
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: So this is a bit of another bit of a
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: bit of video and audio. We don't usually get to
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: see this weird thing that happened between the ball boy
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: and the Jaguars. So Travis.
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: As Menace calls them.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: I'm not saying that intentionally. Travis Hunter, a big, you know,
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: first round draft pick. He had his first interception. He
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: ran it in, I believe, for a touchdown.
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: And then the ball boy, then he tosses it and
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: does his little dance or whatever. The ball boy, who's 5'8, whatever,
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: is then confronted by Travis, not Travis Hunter, but by
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: Josh Heinz-Allen, who's this giant 6'5, other defensive guy, wanting
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: to get the ball back for Travis.
- 1:10:01Speaker 5: To give to his teammate, yeah. It's his first NFL interception.
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: And the ball boy will not let him have it.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: I did see this.
- 1:10:08Speaker 5: He's one of those by-the-book douchebags.
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: Right. He's like, dork. And then as his teammate, Josh Hines, Alan,
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: is like, give it to me. Kind of grabbing for it.
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: He goes nuts.
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: Listen to the audio.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: He goes nuts. So he's screaming, hey, he touched me.
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: You can't do that.
- 1:10:32Speaker 3: He touched me. Like the local cop.
- 1:10:34Speaker 5: Hey, you can't do that. You can't do that.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: What a vagina, dude.
- 1:10:37Speaker 5: See, I saw the video. I haven't heard anything of
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: the follow-up. Like, what happened?
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: So they did get the ball.
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: They got the ball. Okay, but was there any kind of, like,
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: problem between the player and, you know, any kind of,
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: I don't know, management?
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: Not that I've heard of. Yeah, because the player, again,
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: what's his face? Heinz Allen. Heinz Allen. Kind of like,
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: it was like, what the hell's going on? I kind
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: of gave up because he had to go back and
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: play the game, obviously. So he didn't really, like, he
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: wasn't like punching him or shoving him. He was like,
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: hey man, give me the, no, don't touch me.
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: You cannot touch me.
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: What a dork.
- 1:11:06Speaker 14: What a dork.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: What do you think this was, dude? And who do
- 1:11:09Speaker 5: you think you are? And what do you think you have? Football.
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: He's a football player. If you want the ball, give
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: him the ball.
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: And have you not seen this transaction happen a hundred
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: different times?
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: Right. This week in audio.
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: So let's say you're Fox Chicago and you're on board
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: one of those converted school buses at the tailgate. This
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: is in case this is the Green Bay Bears game, obviously,
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: from the past weekend. And you're interviewing drunk people and
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: it's fine. Ha ha ha.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: Whatever. Do you expect this to happen from Bears fans?
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: That was F the Packers. Come on, dude, really?
- 1:11:48Speaker 5: I'm okay with it.
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: That's how all Bears fans feel.
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: I get it, but come on.
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: He's there.
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: You're having fun. This wasn't a 21-year-old frat boy. This
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: was a dude well into his 30s. He thinks he's
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: being cool by screaming the F word on live TV.
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: Probably didn't even think about it.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Yeah, Greg. Gregory. I don't know.
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: My answer would be you're not thinking about it. Then
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: think about it. You can control yourself.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: This wasn't caught like in the background somewhere. The camera's on.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: The guy's like, hey, how's it going? What do you think?
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: But also they say, you know, know the audience like
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: he's in that atmosphere.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: So it's not. Unexpected.
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: I just, you know, this overreaction to when people hear
- 1:12:28Speaker 5: a word they're not supposed to hear just because it's
- 1:12:31Speaker 5: on television.
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: It's not an overreaction. It's a be a goddamn adult
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: for two seconds.
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: Why did you have to say it that way? I'm
- 1:12:38Speaker 5: asking you that question. I'll ask you that question. Well,
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: why would you have to say that? Because I'm not
- 1:12:43Speaker 5: celebrating the bears. Packers or effing, what if I said
- 1:12:46Speaker 5: the effing Ravens?
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: We're having the argument to be a goddamn adult. Thank you. Yeah.
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: All right. 877-44-WOODY. Send us a text. There's so many
- 1:12:55Speaker 5: other things to worry about other than language. The language
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: plays about curse words.
- 1:13:00Speaker 3: We're not asking you to worry. We're just asking you
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: to act with some comportment.
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: You're at the game. You're all pumped up.
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: Who cares? You're not playing.
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: Who cares? You're not a kindergarten teacher.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: You play them twice every year.
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: You know what I mean? Big deal. Here we go,
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: right back over to Seabass as we continue on with
- 1:13:18Speaker 5: the week in audio.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: Got some Menace stuff in honor of his birthday month.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:13:23Speaker 12: So, Menace, tell us why we should care who Alex
- 1:13:25Speaker 12: Earle is. Alex Earle, you shouldn't, but she is very,
- 1:13:28Speaker 12: very popular.
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: Why do you know who she is?
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: Why do you care about her?
- 1:13:31Speaker 12: Yeah, she's in the entertainment realm for some reason. She
- 1:13:35Speaker 12: got famous for doing Get Ready With Me videos of
- 1:13:39Speaker 12: fashion and stuff like that on TikTok in college, and
- 1:13:42Speaker 12: then she just became... widely popular because she's hot and
- 1:13:46Speaker 12: she's good looking.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: And, um, uh, was Ashley Dupree is her stepmom. Now
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: if you're like old head and okay, let's go ahead
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: and pause it right there. Uh, this is something she's
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: doing interviews now and I hate her. Alex Earl is. Okay. Yeah.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: Alex Earl.
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: Who's the other person that you were talking about? Ashley Dupree.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: I'm an old head, Greg.
- 1:14:05Speaker 12: If you're really into politics, it was probably about 20
- 1:14:08Speaker 12: years ago. Ashley Dupree was a call girl, uh, that
- 1:14:11Speaker 12: got a politician in trouble.
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: Oh, Eliot Spitzer.
- 1:14:13Speaker 12: Yeah, and he had to resign. And now she is
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: the stepmom of Alex Searle, who is widely popular. And
- 1:14:20Speaker 12: then she had this falling out with the Call Her
- 1:14:22Speaker 12: Daddy podcast realm.
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: Because she's not actually that interesting.
- 1:14:29Speaker 5: Well, a lot of those people who are, quote, influencers
- 1:14:32Speaker 5: aren't that interesting. Every damn Netflix promo I see is.
- 1:14:35Speaker 12: Because she does have a television show with the rest
- 1:14:38Speaker 12: of her family... which hit like top three on netflix.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: Well she also has this in common with menace okay
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: what's the last book.
- 1:14:45Speaker 14: You read i've never read a book like maybe dr.
- 1:14:48Speaker 5: Seuss okay wow menace your voice sounds so different we
- 1:14:54Speaker 5: had that in common but that would have been like
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: just a read a quote who said it i would.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: Have said menace yeah yeah just garble the voice i've
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: never read a book a multi-millionaire what's the last book you.
- 1:15:03Speaker 14: Read I've never read a book, like maybe Dr.
- 1:15:06Speaker 5: Seuss. And I'll bring that up.
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: I'll address that point as well. Cause it comes up
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: all the time. Well, I got more money than you.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: I would not want to be Britney Spears and she
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: has more money than I'll ever make my entire life.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: I would not want to switch places with her. I mean,
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: even though I don't find her that interesting, she's still
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: a normal person, you know? So it's not like, it's
- 1:15:24Speaker 3: not like Britney Spears where like, I don't even know
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: what planet she's on right now, you know? So like,
- 1:15:30Speaker 3: Alice has that going for her. She's rumored to have
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: dated Tom Brady.
- 1:15:34Speaker 12: She's basically at every event that I ever want to
- 1:15:37Speaker 12: go to.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: So she's not living a bad life.
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: She's living the life Menace wants. She wants to date
- 1:15:44Speaker 5: Tom Brady. Menace wants to date Tom Brady. Menace wants
- 1:15:48Speaker 5: to go to these things.
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: Menace, did you ever consider being a young hot chick
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: with big boobs? Yeah, have you thought about that? I've tried, dude. Easy.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: Not working.
- 1:15:54Speaker 5: This week in audio.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: Speaking of lady news, ladies, Sam, we just talked about
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: menstrual cups quite a bit with Sammy. There's another option,
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: and Raven from That's So Raven can tell us about
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: this new option for how to deal with your lady
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: time of the month.
- 1:16:09Speaker 17: I am obsessed with the menstrual cycle diaper.
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: I'm not getting the same... Types of periods.
- 1:16:17Speaker 17: Types of periods that I did when I was younger.
- 1:16:20Speaker 17: They have mellowed out. The pain is in different.
- 1:16:23Speaker 14: Areas of my body now.
- 1:16:24Speaker 17: And being that I stopped sticking things inside of me
- 1:16:28Speaker 17: and I'm just able to wear a diaper throughout the day.
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: I would much rather stick something inside of me. Diaper
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: doesn't sound very hot.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Than a diaper oh here we go no.
- 1:16:41Speaker 16: She's calling them diapers but they do have these like
- 1:16:44Speaker 16: period panties that are just like panties that can kind
- 1:16:47Speaker 16: of soak things.
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: Up the way but are they thick like a diaper.
- 1:16:49Speaker 16: No it's still underwear it's almost like you it's similar
- 1:16:52Speaker 16: to having a pad on I guess but the pad
- 1:16:55Speaker 16: is essentially built.
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: Into the underwear I'm looking at them what's the one
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: you give older kids slip-ons or slip-ups yeah they pull-ups
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: pull-ups slip-ups It's basically that for women.
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:17:04Speaker 4: And like back in the day, I mean, they had
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: like basically suspenders with like underwear and pads. So this
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: is still an improvement, but no thank you.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: It sounds like the stuff that you put on your
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: dog when it has a period. Yeah.
- 1:17:15Speaker 8: The day we wore diapers in the studio, I thought
- 1:17:18Speaker 8: they were shockingly comfortable.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: No way.
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: But they were bulky.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: They were totally comfortable. They were bulky and they were sweaty.
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: I mean, they were more comfortable than I anticipated them being.
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: Do I want to wear one? No. Or would I
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: go like, oh, no.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: I'm not going to become a diaper wearer. That wouldn't
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: be that bad.
- 1:17:31Speaker 4: Wait, me, my diaper.
- 1:17:31Speaker 8: But they were shockingly comfortable.
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: Greg, would you consider, as a follow-up experiment, wearing period
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: diapers and then seeing if they'll hold the liquid of a- Oh.
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: I mean, that'd be too much because there's not a
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: lot of liquid with periods.
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: Well, I failed at going number one into the diaper.
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: Oh, you did?
- 1:17:46Speaker 8: I couldn't physically make it happen.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: Pee shy.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, here's what Raven's... I guess she has a
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: lesbian lover or wife. Yeah, she does.
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: Dude, she's a well-known lesbian.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: Here's her wife's reaction to her period diapers.
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: Babes, how do you feel when I walk around the
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: house just in my diaper?
- 1:18:03Speaker 14: It doesn't make you go.
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: No, I'm like, she's on her period.
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: Understood.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: Look at me, I'm in my diaper.
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: Ugh. Okay.
- 1:18:11Speaker 8: Exactly.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: See what I mean? There's too many podcasts.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. And that's the number one... It's the number
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: one sign that they don't have anything to say. They
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: just start singing stuff.
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: Well, but also she's talking to her wife. So I
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: think she's slipping up on. That's like probably how they
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: talk to each other in their house.
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: Yeah, I could never.
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: While wearing a diaper.
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: Sounds like Greg and Mario.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Yeah, right.
- 1:18:30Speaker 15: Probably.
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: They talk all cutesy to each other. I'm cheating. In
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: a different language.
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: Well, we invent words. Yeah, sure.
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: Give us an example.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: Hoi.
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: Yeah i know but give us an example of like.
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: Uh we say kiot a lot yeah let's say mario
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: walking in his adult diaper.
- 1:18:46Speaker 8: You like you know just the standards like what do
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: you want to do tonight nothing i just want to
- 1:18:50Speaker 8: be lasers stuff like that um we don't do baby
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: voices but just different words yeah we don't make up
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: baby voices have.
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: You tried that new flavor of magic shell greg well
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: what was it no i did what was it mcdonald's No,
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: he's talking like Stevie Wondergood, right? Stevie Wondergood, yeah.
- 1:19:07Speaker 5: Or it's McDonald's.
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: Yeah, because it means you're loving it. I'm loving it, yeah.
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: All right, this week in audio.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: For Menace, Menace Excuse Generator, let's say it's early in
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: the morning, you're on your motorcycle, and you're going, oh,
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: 72 miles per hour at 25.
- 1:19:20Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: You're pulled over.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: This is from the Manassas City Police Department.
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. Spoiler alert. We know the answer.
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: Oh, dang it. Okay, well, the excuse is this. Nuclear period.
- 1:19:29Speaker 13: I was moving a little quick, wasn't I?
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: Yeah, way too quick. I was trying to hit the
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: McDonald's breakfast. I know. Coming from there here is like
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: two minutes. I know. I got you. I don't even
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: have socks on.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: I was rushing. I woke up late.
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: I can see you were rushing. 72, it's way too fast.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: I was doing 72.
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: Do you got the registration, please?
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: I was actually fast.
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: Yeah, got to get to McDonald's before they cut the
- 1:19:50Speaker 5: breakfast off.
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: If he was a cool cop, he'd say, I get it.
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: I will give you a police escort to McDonald's and
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: then we'll hash this out.
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: Hash Brown it out. Wow, good one.
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: A police escort. Also, a PS nuclear period. Yeah, nuclear period.
- 1:20:05Speaker 5: If you're a guy, though. This week in audio.
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: Greg, are you hyped? Are you hyped up? Are you excited?
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Do you think that it will be McDonald's, the newest
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: Netflix documentary ever? The one about Matthew Perry. I only
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: heard about it.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: I said, God, you can do anything you want to me.
- 1:20:25Speaker 3: Just please make me famous.
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: I got a phone call. Hello. And I instantly knew
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: my whole.
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: Life was going to change.
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: But God did not forget the other part. Yeah, the ketamine.
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: You know... Am I excited? Sure.
- 1:20:42Speaker 8: Will I watch it?
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:20:44Speaker 8: But I'm not ripping out for it. I feel like
- 1:20:47Speaker 8: I know everything I need to know about Matthew Perry.
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: I'm kind of... I'm borderline over it.
- 1:20:53Speaker 5: See? Okay, remember we were talking about there'd be like
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: a death or whatever. At what point is it like,
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: all right, we get it. I'm definitely there with Matthew Perry.
- 1:21:04Speaker 8: I've seen many interviews with him. He's discussing his sobriety
- 1:21:08Speaker 8: and his battles.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: I totally get it.
- 1:21:11Speaker 5: It's a sad story, sad ending to an otherwise really
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: great life when you think about it.
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: What a life that he threw away. Yeah. So will
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: I watch it? Of course. Yeah.
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: Duh.
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: But not excited.
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: All right. This week in audio.
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: Speaking of Dolly, did you know that she's just opening
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: a new museum? And she has recorded a message for that, obviously,
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: before she died. And she has a hotel in Nashville.
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: There's a new wing that's being opened. And I think
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: that they kind of they did something a little weird
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: with the imaging, knowing that she's dead now and it's
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: like Halloween time.
- 1:21:41Speaker 5: So this is her.
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: This is her. This is her telling people like, hey,
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: come welcome to my new museum and my hotel.
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: Hi, everybody.
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: It's Dolly and I am so proud to invite.
- 1:21:51Speaker 5: You to my life of many colors museum opening right
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: here in the heart of Nashville at my song teller hotel.
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: Tickets are now available so.
- 1:22:02Speaker 5: Come on be a part of the journey the journey
- 1:22:06Speaker 5: I did that I was like that is not real
- 1:22:10Speaker 5: yeah I knew that did come out like two days
- 1:22:13Speaker 5: ago or whatever but I did the whole that's so
- 1:22:17Speaker 5: weird that they would do that you know how ghosts
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: talk 877-44-WOODING.
- 1:22:22Speaker 9: It's huge are you kidding I don't know what I
- 1:22:24Speaker 9: did to deserve this algorithm the Woody show We're talking
- 1:22:30Speaker 9: about that influencer, whatever her name is.
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: Alex Earl.
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't read no books. Yeah, and
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: you said she does those videos like, oh.
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: Get ready with me.
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: Yeah, get ready with me. It's like fashion stuff. I
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: saw this funny post. It was Pete Davidson, and he
- 1:22:49Speaker 5: was talking to this dude.
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, I saw it. Did you see it? He
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: was talking about girls like Alex Earl.
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: Yeah, it's so funny.
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: It makes me sad.
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: Girls are just talking to themselves on there. And they're like, okay,
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: come get ready with me.
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: And I'm like, who the f * * * are you?
- 1:23:04Speaker 8: What do you do?
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: Nothing. What the f * * * is this?
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: They make 40 million a year?
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: What?
- 1:23:12Speaker 3: And then I'm like, the world's broken.
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: There's girls my age that go on TikTok and they'll
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: like mutter like a thing and then do this like dance.
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: And I'm like, what the f * * * are
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: you doing?
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: I like this is insane.
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: There's no one else.
- 1:23:26Speaker 6: See how fucking insane and lame this is.
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: And these girls are like super famous.
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: Like everyone's like, oh, my God, I can't believe.
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: And I'm like, what?
- 1:23:36Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:23:37Speaker 6: This is the first time I felt really old. But
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: I do think about it like once a week. I'm like,
- 1:23:41Speaker 6: should I just start an OnlyFans and show soft? But
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: really tight underwear and just soft cock and retire.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: Dude, he could easily do that. So true.
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: Can't beat him, join him.
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: So true.
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: He's right.
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: It's one thing to make fun of these women, but
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: it's another thing, if you follow them, what are you doing?
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: To the 85 million people that follow Kim Kardashian, what
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: are you doing? Watching somebody get.
- 1:24:06Speaker 8: Ready.
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: What are you getting out of that? I have no idea.
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: Get ready.
- 1:24:09Speaker 5: It's got my daughter doing it.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: My daughter loves all that stuff.
- 1:24:12Speaker 5: But your daughter is a child.
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: She's a legal child.
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: I was in Target. I saw this girl picking out
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: a box of cereal. She was full makeup and hair.
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: And she was doing it. I wasn't even close enough.
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: I didn't care enough to... Scream a cuss word.
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: I'm like, I've got to spend the same day with
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: the Wheaties over here.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: Like, why are you filming this? Who is this for?
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: It's all content. Everybody's content. This week in audio.
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: Okay. Speaking of, let's do this. Let's do a clip
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: that's just for CBass. What have I said when people
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: challenge me, argue with me almost every day?
- 1:24:40Speaker 5: I'm not bald.
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: Almost every, well, that's a good example. I'm not bald.
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: Almost everything I do or say is correct. So it's,
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: there we go.
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: Start from that premise.
- 1:24:50Speaker 8: Almost everything.
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: I'm not perfect. I'm not Elon Musk. So start from
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: the point of CBAS is probably right. And if you
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: find evidence against it, then you can come at me.
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: But don't just start coming at me. So I'll take
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: an example. When we had the DoorDash or whoever, I
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: forget which Uber driver, whatever, dropping off food. And it
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: was a woman that got out of the car. She
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: was the only one in the car. And the profile
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: was like Malachi, some dude. And I reported it. Oh, yeah.
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: I'd be like, oh, she's just trying to make a living.
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: Like, no, this is a safety issue and a credibility issue.
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: It happens all the time. I don't know if I've
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: gotten a match in a long time.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:25:26Speaker 4: With the face and the name?
- 1:25:27Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: Because I'm always expecting like, oh, you know, here comes,
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: you know, whoever. Here comes Sammy. And Sam shows.
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: Up, you know what I mean? But it's like a dude.
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: It's not even close to what the picture or it's
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: not the same car. Right, right, right.
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: That's concerning. Well, here's Inside Edition. They've got some doorbell
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: camera audio to prove my point exactly.
- 1:25:49Speaker 15: When this DoorDash driver in North Carolina rings the bell,
- 1:25:52Speaker 15: a 12-year-old boy answers.
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: You are beautiful.
- 1:25:56Speaker 8: Are you taking it?
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: What?
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: I'm saying you are beautiful. Are you taking it?
- 1:26:01Speaker 15: Turns out he's a registered sex offender. DoorDash says the
- 1:26:05Speaker 15: sex offender had fraudulently obtained another driver's account and that
- 1:26:09Speaker 15: he has been since banned.
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: Oh, good.
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:26:13Speaker 4: He was supposed to be already.
- 1:26:14Speaker 14: Yeah, he already was.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: The driver said, you're beautiful.
- 1:26:17Speaker 8: Are you taken?
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: To a 12-year-old boy. So, yeah, sorry, Seabass out here,
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: just keeping sex offenders from going to your house. I'm
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: the bad guy, I guess.
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, there was some.
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: Yeah, shut up, Unc.
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: There was just another big story in the news, and
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: I thought I had it. Wasn't there like a DoorDash driver?
- 1:26:36Speaker 5: She went missing, and then she was killed by this
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: guy in this apartment complex, and they spotted this guy.
- 1:26:44Speaker 5: And he had like a big tub and it was
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: like her dismembered in this tub. Oh, my God. He
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: realized that these people were looking at him like he split.
- 1:26:51Speaker 5: There was just a story.
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: That's the details that I think that happened.
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: Different side of the coin.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: Georgia, 26 year old door dash driver went missing. Family
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: tractor phone to the Park Valley Apartments in Smyrna, Georgia.
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: Smyrna, yeah.
- 1:27:05Speaker 5: Smyrna, searched the grounds themselves. A witness later saw an
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: 18-year-old man carrying a plastic tub through the complex. He
- 1:27:11Speaker 5: dropped it and ran when he realized he had been seen.
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: Police found dismembered remains inside.
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: The man has been arrested, charged with malice, murder, and
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: concealing the death of another. I mean, that sucks, and
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: I feel like you're taking away from the Seabass is
- 1:27:23Speaker 5: Right part of this clip, but that does suck. No,
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: I mean, just like, you know, it's just like, I
- 1:27:29Speaker 5: don't know, man. We're inviting strangers a lot, right? Right
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: to the doorstep. Here's my new mattress. And so that
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: is different because the driver was the one who was
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: attacked there. But, like, at least it should be vetted
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: from the people that you are inviting. You know, like
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: you're ordering something from wherever. They're not going to.
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: I thought it was. They're not going to check us.
- 1:27:49Speaker 5: No. Right now, I'm saying the one way is impossible
- 1:27:52Speaker 5: because the customer, but at least the other way should
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: be covered.
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: Well, my question is, and some folks may know this,
- 1:27:59Speaker 3: you may have people like, how do you get into
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: that racket? How do you get into the... I'm a
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: legitimate legal citizen. Or are they just stealing identities?
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: Is that what they're doing?
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: Are they just stealing- That profile. Right. Because you need
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: a driver's license. They're paying somebody. They're paying somebody to
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: use their identity. I think that's true. Probably you have
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: a friend or a neighbor or a cousin or whatever
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: who's not going to DoorDash. And so you're like, hey,
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: can I just use your info? But I bet a
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: lot of it is stolen identity too.
- 1:28:21Speaker 5: This week in audio.
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:28:23Speaker 5: In this one, all paper, eye.
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: Roll, Greg. Okay. This is a young couple. Mm-hmm. They
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: picked a bad weekend to have their wedding. Hurricane a-comin',
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: or a nor'easter, I should say. But they took to
- 1:28:35Speaker 3: social media, and that saved the day.
- 1:28:38Speaker 13: Jayden sink and kimberly laprend came to the outer banks
- 1:28:41Speaker 13: for their wedding but a nor'easter washed out part of
- 1:28:44Speaker 13: route 12 leaving hundreds stranded and their family and friends
- 1:28:47Speaker 13: unable to make it to the island.
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: So they posted on facebook and the island answered you
- 1:28:51Speaker 5: would have thought the the queen of england was getting
- 1:28:54Speaker 5: married where was 400 cars at least pulling in.
- 1:28:58Speaker 13: Food, flowers, a DJ, photographers, and a retired wedding planner,
- 1:29:02Speaker 13: all donated by people they never met. The couple estimates
- 1:29:05Speaker 13: 400 to 800 people showed up.
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: So they were stranded on a little island. This is
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: from W Channel 2, Greensboro. And they put something on Facebook.
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: I don't know what, it didn't say what they put
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: on Facebook.
- 1:29:18Speaker 8: So they had perfect strangers showing up?
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: Like to give equipment to- Like the local residents, other
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: people stuck on the island. Like, hey, we'll come to
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: your wedding. We'll bring food. We'll bring a DJ. It's nice.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: Okay, well. It's like two weddings, that one movie.
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: Even I'm saying that's nice. Greg's got to think that's nice.
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: I'm going to go. I'm trying to find an eye roll. Well,
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: the fact that they were begging for it on social media. Well, true. Allegedly. Well,
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: no one would have found out if they were like.
- 1:29:40Speaker 5: It's the circumstances, though.
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: Desperate times call for desperate measures. Are you saying this
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: is a Hallmark movie in the making? It could be.
- 1:29:45Speaker 8: The only major eye roll is the guy's name is Jaden.
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: Thank God we're over that era of.
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: Well, they're all adults now, Greg.
- 1:29:57Speaker 8: I know. Oh, God.
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: But no, that's how I'm made.
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: That's great.
- 1:30:01Speaker 8: I hear stories like that, and I think, wow, there's
- 1:30:03Speaker 8: so many people out there that are so much nicer
- 1:30:05Speaker 8: than I am.
- 1:30:05Speaker 5: Yeah, you think everybody... That's the perspective you need sometimes, because, man,
- 1:30:09Speaker 5: it's so easy to just start thinking everybody's an a-hole.
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: Are you on any of the neighborhood groups, like the Nextdoor?
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: They're on the old-timey Facebook groups.
- 1:30:19Speaker 5: Okay, that too.
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: Like that... Hey, does anybody have any moving boxes? And
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: if someone said, hey, we're stuck here and our family
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: can't come, but we have this venue if you want
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: to come to our wedding.
- 1:30:29Speaker 8: I mean, if I had something that could help, like
- 1:30:31Speaker 8: if they needed a pickup truck or whatever. Sure.
- 1:30:33Speaker 3: Would you come and attend the ceremony? Probably not. What
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: about free wine?
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: Oh, free wine.
- 1:30:39Speaker 8: Oh, no.
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: There you go. That's This Week in Audio, everybody.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: All right, we'll take a break. More of what he
- 1:30:48Speaker 5: showed next.
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: Hang on. He just got weird.
- 1:30:59Speaker 5: And it's another new hour. Final hour. I have the
- 1:31:05Speaker 5: world to show for you here on this Thursday, the
- 1:31:09Speaker 5: 1st of October.
- 1:31:11Speaker 8: Oh, my God.
- 1:31:11Speaker 5: The first day of Menace's birthday month, you guys. Yeah.
- 1:31:16Speaker 15: Right?
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: Let's go. Tim, you love the birthday month, too. I mean,
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: you love it.
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: You're not supposed to speak yet, Tim.
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: Oh, my bad. My bad.
- 1:31:23Speaker 5: You haven't been introduced yet.
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: He was sighing so hard. I'm not here.
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: I'm not here. This is a professional operation here. Tim. Okay,
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: I'm not here.
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: Go backstage.
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:31:35Speaker 5: Menace's birthday month wish list posted.
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: Bucket list. Whatever.
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: Posted. You can find it on our social media and
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: there at thewoodyshow.com. All right. Well, it's a throwback Thursday.
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: This is the time of the show. We check in
- 1:31:50Speaker 5: with the pride of Koima. He is the senior vice
- 1:31:52Speaker 5: president and managing partner of Club Turnip, El Presidente himself.
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: Who? T.O.
- 1:31:57Speaker 5: Tim Martinez.
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: I was underneath the console.
- 1:32:04Speaker 5: You just ran it?
- 1:32:06Speaker 16: Hi, Tim.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: Hey, what's up, Woody Show?
- 1:32:07Speaker 5: Tim, did you know that today is the first day
- 1:32:10Speaker 5: of Menace's birthday month?
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: Wait, what?
- 1:32:13Speaker 5: I know. This is the first I'm hearing of this.
- 1:32:15Speaker 5: He's a grown man who celebrates his birthday for an
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: entire month. Not a birthday, not a birthday weekend, not
- 1:32:22Speaker 5: a birthday week. No, a birthday month. I feel like
- 1:32:25Speaker 5: that's a little excessive. We've been saying that. That's what
- 1:32:27Speaker 5: we've been saying.
- 1:32:28Speaker 12: It's a bucket list all month long. Look, Tim, I
- 1:32:31Speaker 12: got something for you, a little energy pouch for you.
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: Oh, nice.
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: Oh, I love energy pouches. See, everybody gets run off
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: on the birthday market. Are those the ones that look
- 1:32:39Speaker 5: like they're in the little Zin?
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:32:42Speaker 5: And you love Zins.
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: Energy. No, I am about energy today.
- 1:32:46Speaker 5: Nice.
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: Fired up. Yeah, no, but....
- 1:32:49Speaker 5: You're still on the Zinn thing, right?
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: I mean, I'm weaning off. Are you?
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: It's really bad for me. Until I give them another pass.
- 1:32:57Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:32:57Speaker 12: Because I'll go to events and they'll load me up
- 1:33:00Speaker 12: with different ones, not just Zinn.
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: And I always bring in the Tim.
- 1:33:03Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. Well, Tim will appreciate that.
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:33:07Speaker 5: We have some questions. It's time for a round of T.O.
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: Tim.
- 1:33:09Speaker 5: And then we'll go up in the club for... this
- 1:33:12Speaker 5: week's throwback Thursday up in the club song. Uh, now
- 1:33:15Speaker 5: the questions for T.O. Tim, if you've got one for
- 1:33:19Speaker 5: a future round, you can always either text over, text
- 1:33:22Speaker 5: your question that you got over to two, two, nine, eight, seven.
- 1:33:26Speaker 5: You can send it in email form, email at the
- 1:33:29Speaker 5: woody show.com, which I think one of the, uh, questions
- 1:33:32Speaker 5: this week is from the email, right, Jeff?
- 1:33:34Speaker 12: Yes.
- 1:33:34Speaker 3: As a matter of fact, it's our first question from
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: a listener named Don. Uh, she says, T.O.
- 1:33:38Speaker 10: Tim, we are a very white family, uh, And our
- 1:33:41Speaker 10: daughter's fiance is Hispanic. What should I expect to experience
- 1:33:46Speaker 10: during the wedding reception?
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: Oh. Oh.
- 1:33:49Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:33:50Speaker 3: Okay. I mean, there's a lot, but I'll put a couple.
- 1:33:54Speaker 5: Writing my answer.
- 1:33:56Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:33:59Speaker 5: Who wants to go first? You want me to go first?
- 1:34:01Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:34:02Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:34:02Speaker 5: I said lots of family you didn't know existed. Honorable mention,
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: kids sleeping on chair.
- 1:34:09Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:34:10Speaker 3: Amen.
- 1:34:11Speaker 5: Amen. God, are these all family? Who here is family?
- 1:34:15Speaker 5: Who here are friends? Who here are co-workers? These can't
- 1:34:18Speaker 5: all be family, can they? You were talking about some
- 1:34:21Speaker 5: of your family gatherings and how many people. Oh, like
- 1:34:23Speaker 5: a smaller gathering. I'm like, man, that's a small gathering.
- 1:34:26Speaker 12: 25 people.
- 1:34:28Speaker 5: Craig, that's like 16 in your family.
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, exactly. You know?
- 1:34:32Speaker 8: I've got 100 of mine.
- 1:34:33Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:34:34Speaker 5: All right, who's next?
- 1:34:35Speaker 3: I'll go next. I want to get it over with.
- 1:34:37Speaker 8: Shots.
- 1:34:37Speaker 3: Live music. Shots. Shots. Okay, cool.
- 1:34:42Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:34:43Speaker 8: Menace.
- 1:34:43Speaker 12: The kids sleep on the chair, for sure, like you said.
- 1:34:46Speaker 12: But I put the mother dancing more than the bride.
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:34:52Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: The mother dancing more than the bride. Got it. The
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: mom gets down.
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: Gina.
- 1:34:56Speaker 2: Gina.
- 1:34:57Speaker 4: No chicken dance up in this reception. I put expect
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: to get turnt. Always a good party.
- 1:35:03Speaker 3: Yes. Oh, yeah. People get drunk. Sammy.
- 1:35:06Speaker 14: I put a lot of drunk family members.
- 1:35:09Speaker 5: Drunk family members.
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: Also true.
- 1:35:12Speaker 5: What about you, Jeff? What do you got?
- 1:35:14Speaker 10: At least one Tio wearing snakeskin boots. You're going to
- 1:35:17Speaker 10: guarantee that you will see that, right? Weddings are a
- 1:35:19Speaker 10: place to show off. Plus, of course, lots of tequila.
- 1:35:22Speaker 8: Oh, for sure.
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:35:24Speaker 5: Tio Tim.
- 1:35:24Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:35:25Speaker 7: I said good food, good music, and a lot, in
- 1:35:30Speaker 7: all caps, a lot of people.
- 1:35:31Speaker 5: There we go.
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: It goes back to like, wait, do I even know you?
- 1:35:35Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:35:35Speaker 5: Are you a cousin? Yeah, that's what I was.
- 1:35:36Speaker 3: Going to say. How are you at my wedding?
- 1:35:37Speaker 5: Family members you had no idea even existed.
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: I have a question for the married people in the room.
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:35:43Speaker 7: Did you guys before the ceremony, before you got married,
- 1:35:48Speaker 7: did you guys.
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: All get a little bit buzzed?
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: Of course.
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: I had a couple of sips.
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:35:56Speaker 5: Yeah, not at all.
- 1:35:57Speaker 10: My wife was, Tim, my wife was six months pregnant. So,
- 1:36:00Speaker 10: you know how we do it. Leave it in club, Tim.
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: Leave it in.
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: That's so good. Leave it in club. Leave it in club.
- 1:36:08Speaker 3: We were all drinking on the way there.
- 1:36:10Speaker 7: Because I was super buzzed.
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: Really? Before the wedding.
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: Like, while you were in the middle of the ceremony,
- 1:36:16Speaker 4: did you still feel buzzed?
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: I mean, I sobered up real quick.
- 1:36:20Speaker 5: Once I saw her, I was like, waiting at the
- 1:36:23Speaker 5: end of the aisle.
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, shoot. It's happening. She showed up. All right.
- 1:36:33Speaker 5: Next question for T.O.
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: Tim.
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: Second question.
- 1:36:37Speaker 10: When a Latino says they'll be there in five minutes,
- 1:36:40Speaker 10: how far away are they really?
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: That's a great question.
- 1:36:45Speaker 5: I'm just going on my own personal experience.
- 1:36:49Speaker 10: When a Latino says they'll be there in five minutes,
- 1:36:52Speaker 10: how far away are they really?
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: Okay, got it.
- 1:36:54Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:36:55Speaker 5: Is that like CPT?
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it might be.
- 1:36:59Speaker 5: Okay. Again, just based on personal experience.
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:37:06Speaker 5: Yep.
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:37:08Speaker 5: Everybody got their answer?
- 1:37:09Speaker 12: Yep.
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:37:10Speaker 5: The question one more time, Jeff.
- 1:37:12Speaker 10: All right, when a Latino says they'll be there in
- 1:37:14Speaker 10: five minutes, how far away are they really?
- 1:37:16Speaker 5: All right, for every five minutes they say, it means
- 1:37:18Speaker 5: they are 20 minutes away.
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:37:20Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: I took it even more extreme. Haven't even left yet.
- 1:37:26Speaker 12: And I would like to double down on that and
- 1:37:28Speaker 12: say still at home.
- 1:37:29Speaker 16: And I will triple down on that and say still
- 1:37:31Speaker 16: at home.
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: Still at home.
- 1:37:33Speaker 4: About an hour.
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: About an hour. Jeff G. 25 minutes at least.
- 1:37:38Speaker 5: 25 minutes.
- 1:37:39Speaker 7: I am giving my people way too much credit. I
- 1:37:42Speaker 7: said at least 15 minutes away.
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: 15?
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: Are these modern days? I mean, yeah, I think, you
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: know what? Yeah, five minutes away is 15 minutes.
- 1:37:51Speaker 12: Lucky.
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: 15 minutes. Rippin'. Yeah.
- 1:37:54Speaker 5: Menace, isn't a lot of your gauge based on Thanksgiving
- 1:37:58Speaker 5: dinner when you ask your in-laws, like, when we're going
- 1:38:00Speaker 5: to be eating? And they go, oh.
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:38:02Speaker 5: And then it's hours later.
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: Dude, it's like 10 o'clock at night by the time
- 1:38:05Speaker 3: we eat. So you put an exact number, Jeff G.,
- 1:38:09Speaker 3: over there. You were like, what's five minutes equate to?
- 1:38:11Speaker 7: I think the question really is when we say, hey,
- 1:38:16Speaker 7: the party's starting at five.
- 1:38:18Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:38:18Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:38:19Speaker 7: What time are people actually showing up? Because that is
- 1:38:23Speaker 7: a whole different question. Because if you're actually five minutes away,
- 1:38:26Speaker 7: that means you're in your car.
- 1:38:28Speaker 3: That's what I think.
- 1:38:29Speaker 7: But if you say the party's at five, o'clock, you're
- 1:38:31Speaker 7: for sure showing up at 6.30 or 7.
- 1:38:33Speaker 5: Oh, that late?
- 1:38:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going to say 7.
- 1:38:36Speaker 7: Like, Veronica's family, for sure, it's like, hey, tell them 2,
- 1:38:40Speaker 7: and we're never ready at 2, but we tell her
- 1:38:43Speaker 7: family 2 o'clock because we know it's 4 or 4.30.
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:38:46Speaker 5: Okay, so what's, just in general, this is not like
- 1:38:49Speaker 5: a T.O. Tim question based on culture or whatever. This
- 1:38:53Speaker 5: is just in general. Somebody says the party starts at 5.
- 1:38:57Speaker 5: What time are you planning on showing up? For us,
- 1:38:59Speaker 5: it's like 5.30.
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: I would say 5.30.
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: 5.30.
- 1:39:00Speaker 3: That's so nice of you.
- 1:39:02Speaker 8: I don't like it when people are on time.
- 1:39:04Speaker 12: Yes, it's the worst.
- 1:39:09Speaker 8: I'm like, oh, I shouldn't even say it. I had
- 1:39:10Speaker 8: people over recently.
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: Yeah. And I know they listen to the show.
- 1:39:13Speaker 8: And I said, six.
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: Yeah. And they got there at like six.
- 1:39:16Speaker 5: Is it the same people you always have over?
- 1:39:18Speaker 3: No.
- 1:39:19Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: No.
- 1:39:20Speaker 3: I was thinking.
- 1:39:21Speaker 8: I don't want you to be smack dab on time.
- 1:39:24Speaker 8: When I say six, I mean like six thirty.
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: No, same.
- 1:39:26Speaker 4: But don't be too fashionably later. I start getting nervous.
- 1:39:29Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:39:29Speaker 14: Is this, like, is nobody going to come?
- 1:39:31Speaker 16: Also, everything's ready, and you're just sitting around waiting for
- 1:39:33Speaker 16: them because you don't want to screw anything up or
- 1:39:35Speaker 16: eat the food or make it not pretty.
- 1:39:36Speaker 14: So you're just, like, sitting there waiting.
- 1:39:38Speaker 12: I'm the worst. I'll be there at 5.50. So 5 o'clock,
- 1:39:42Speaker 12: you're there at 5.50. No, no, I'm sorry.
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: 4.50. Oh. Oh, yeah. I'm down the street just sitting
- 1:39:47Speaker 3: in my car. But, okay, so here's the thing.
- 1:39:50Speaker 5: When it comes to what are we there for, right?
- 1:39:53Speaker 5: If it's, like, come over for dinner.
- 1:39:55Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:39:56Speaker 5: I don't want to make it too much later what
- 1:39:58Speaker 5: time they gave me because they're going to probably be
- 1:40:00Speaker 5: trying to time things out. Meaning like they're trying to
- 1:40:02Speaker 5: have the meal ready at a certain point. Now, if
- 1:40:04Speaker 5: it's just like a birthday party or something like that,
- 1:40:07Speaker 5: where there's going to be food out and just kind
- 1:40:09Speaker 5: of there. That's different. So I think for something like Thanksgiving,
- 1:40:15Speaker 5: like dinner is going to be at a certain time.
- 1:40:16Speaker 5: What time are we planning on eating? And you can
- 1:40:19Speaker 5: judge based on that because the host is going to
- 1:40:21Speaker 5: try to have everything ready you know, at a certain time.
- 1:40:24Speaker 5: They don't want to be sitting there waiting, you know,
- 1:40:26Speaker 5: an hour and a half for someone to roll in.
- 1:40:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:40:29Speaker 10: If it's an event like a wedding, yeah, early. If
- 1:40:32Speaker 10: it's like one of the kids' birthday parties, right? And
- 1:40:34Speaker 10: Tim says, be there at 6. I leave the house
- 1:40:36Speaker 10: at 6.20. Then I stop by, you know, Northgate or whatever,
- 1:40:41Speaker 10: pick up a few 18-packs of Modelo. That'll get me
- 1:40:44Speaker 10: to like 6.45. And then I got another 25 minutes
- 1:40:47Speaker 10: to get to his house. So, you know, we're talking
- 1:40:49Speaker 10: about 7.05, 7.15. That's just the way.
- 1:40:53Speaker 3: That's the timeline, man.
- 1:40:54Speaker 4: I have worked my entire life to be on time,
- 1:40:56Speaker 4: and I can't believe I'm hearing this.
- 1:40:57Speaker 5: I tell my son, if you're not 10 minutes early,
- 1:40:59Speaker 5: you're late.
- 1:41:00Speaker 4: You're late. Exactly.
- 1:41:01Speaker 5: Like not even on time. Like if you're on time,
- 1:41:03Speaker 5: you're late. No, I go, if you're 10 minutes early,
- 1:41:05Speaker 5: you're late because he's awful with time management. So now
- 1:41:07Speaker 5: I know if I invite Jeff somewhere. Oh, dude.
- 1:41:09Speaker 3: No, but I'm saying it depends on the event. It
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: depends on the event, right? What time are we supposed
- 1:41:13Speaker 3: to be there? Two. Five o'clock.
- 1:41:16Speaker 12: Right.
- 1:41:16Speaker 4: Yeah, we know when Jeff's coming.
- 1:41:18Speaker 3: Yeah, because then we know when to expect Jeff thereabouts.
- 1:41:20Speaker 3: Everybody's mopping up, putting out dessert. I'm never late for work,
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: but for kickbacks, carne asadas, that's just the way it is.
- 1:41:25Speaker 3: There's no time.
- 1:41:26Speaker 5: If you've got a question for a future round of
- 1:41:28Speaker 5: Ask T.O. Tim, you can send it to us on
- 1:41:31Speaker 5: the text over to 22987, or you can send us
- 1:41:34Speaker 5: an email, email at thewoodyshow.com. It is a throwback Thursday.
- 1:41:39Speaker 5: We're going to take a break. We'll come back, and
- 1:41:41Speaker 5: then we're going to go up in the club. You
- 1:41:44Speaker 5: got to take off his T.O. hat, put on a
- 1:41:46Speaker 5: DJ Tim Martinez hat. It's on backwards for that. Dodgers
- 1:41:54Speaker 5: playoff baseball. How psyched are you, T.O.
- 1:41:57Speaker 3: Tim? I have no words. I am so pumped for
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: this weekend.
- 1:42:01Speaker 5: We were in a meeting the other day kind of
- 1:42:03Speaker 5: planning out some different things for the Woody show that
- 1:42:06Speaker 5: we're doing, you know, giveaway wise and promotions wise and
- 1:42:09Speaker 5: everything else between now and the end of the year. And,
- 1:42:12Speaker 5: you know, we got these tickets lined up for these
- 1:42:15Speaker 5: next two games, Saturday, Sunday. And we're like, well, you know,
- 1:42:18Speaker 5: if and when.
- 1:42:19Speaker 3: If, please.
- 1:42:21Speaker 5: He goes, all right, they're going all the way. So,
- 1:42:24Speaker 5: all right, put it in the budget.
- 1:42:26Speaker 3: You kept saying if.
- 1:42:28Speaker 5: Well, I mean, because we're talking about money being spent.
- 1:42:30Speaker 5: I guess it's better to plan on definitely and then
- 1:42:35Speaker 5: have a little extra money at the end.
- 1:42:37Speaker 3: I won't even say it.
- 1:42:38Speaker 5: They weren't doing that hot.
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: Yeah. They're going to be fine. Just stop, dude. Yeah. Stop.
- 1:42:44Speaker 5: What are you doing? How are your Giants doing?
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: I'm not a Giants fan.
- 1:42:50Speaker 5: You trying to get Tim to not come back?
- 1:42:51Speaker 3: No, I'm just saying. Yeah.
- 1:42:53Speaker 5: But I was going to ask you how you feel
- 1:42:56Speaker 5: with that, because they did have moments that they struggled
- 1:42:59Speaker 5: this season.
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure. They had moments last year.
- 1:43:01Speaker 5: And in the way that they ended the regular season
- 1:43:04Speaker 5: and going into the postseason, what are your feelings?
- 1:43:07Speaker 3: I feel like we're going to win it again.
- 1:43:08Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: Okay. That's okay.
- 1:43:10Speaker 5: Well, you know why? Because I'm asking nicer. It's my demeanor, right, Craig?
- 1:43:17Speaker 3: It's exactly right.
- 1:43:18Speaker 5: It is a throwback Thursday. DJ Tim Martinez is here,
- 1:43:23Speaker 5: and it's time to go up in the club. Now,
- 1:43:26Speaker 5: back in the day, Tim Martinez here was a club DJ.
- 1:43:29Speaker 5: He was playing all these songs when they were big, hot,
- 1:43:31Speaker 5: and popular. He had so many chicks in the DJ booth.
- 1:43:33Speaker 3: So many.
- 1:43:35Speaker 5: Oh, my God. He was just slaying.
- 1:43:38Speaker 3: So many. Every night.
- 1:43:39Speaker 5: Yeah. But what are we going with this week, Tim?
- 1:43:43Speaker 3: Super, super, super club banger. 2005. Temperature. Sean. Sean Paul.
- 1:43:50Speaker 3: Sean Paul.
- 1:43:51Speaker 5: Up in the club. The Woody Show.
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: Throwback Thursday.
- 1:43:55Speaker 8: What?
- 1:43:55Speaker 5: Up in the club. The Woody Show.
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: Get up. I got Sean Paul.
- 1:43:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:44:00Speaker 5: Temperature up in the club. Throwback Thursday here on The
- 1:44:04Speaker 5: Woody Show with DJ Tim Martinez. Tim Martinez.
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: Oh, yes.
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:44:12Speaker 5: Hey, go Dodgers. Go Dodgers. You're going to be down
- 1:44:15Speaker 5: at the Pacific Air show this weekend, too, right?
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: I am.
- 1:44:17Speaker 8: Wait, are you?
- 1:44:18Speaker 5: Oh, babe, you're going? Of course.
- 1:44:20Speaker 3: Oh, babe.
- 1:44:20Speaker 5: How would I not be there? Of course I'll be there.
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: We can watch airplanes fly together.
- 1:44:24Speaker 2: Let's.
- 1:44:24Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 1:44:25Speaker 9: Let's go.
- 1:44:27Speaker 5: DJ Tim Martinez, everybody.
- 1:44:29Speaker 3: All right, Tim, thank you.
- 1:44:32Speaker 2: Okay, bye.
- 1:44:38Speaker 5: One of my favorite conversations as of late was the
- 1:44:43Speaker 5: whole the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
- 1:44:46Speaker 3: So passionate.
- 1:44:48Speaker 5: You know, Gina just got soaked. Angry at our reaction.
- 1:44:55Speaker 5: Can I tell you why?
- 1:44:56Speaker 4: I've thought about it. I've thought about it. And I
- 1:44:57Speaker 4: know what makes me angry about it.
- 1:44:58Speaker 5: You've reflected?
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I've done some reflecting. You know, I was trying
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: to better myself. And I think it was the constant
- 1:45:05Speaker 4: pattern of me saying, oh, I hear you, but this
- 1:45:09Speaker 4: is why, just so you know, this is where I
- 1:45:11Speaker 4: heard it and this is where I go. And that
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: was just shut down. Like, how do you shut down
- 1:45:15Speaker 4: the fact that that's how I grew up here?
- 1:45:17Speaker 5: Who denied?
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: It's wrong.
- 1:45:18Speaker 5: Who denied that? Both of you. No, we didn't.
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: You heard that?
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: You just kept saying it was wrong. And I was like, Well,
- 1:45:24Speaker 4: it is wrong.
- 1:45:25Speaker 5: But it's not wrong to.
- 1:45:27Speaker 4: The other half of the population that grew up.
- 1:45:29Speaker 5: Hearing it that way. I would say half the population
- 1:45:32Speaker 5: was not saying... 0.01%.
- 1:45:34Speaker 4: However we grew up hearing it, it's not wrong to
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: the people who grew up with that phrase.
- 1:45:40Speaker 5: That was never the point. The point was it's wrong
- 1:45:43Speaker 5: because it's not the phrase. That part's wrong. We're not
- 1:45:46Speaker 5: saying that you didn't hear it that way or that
- 1:45:49Speaker 5: that's not what you thought it was. We believe that
- 1:45:51Speaker 5: you heard that as a kid.
- 1:45:52Speaker 4: It is the phrase to people who grew up hearing
- 1:45:54Speaker 4: the squeaky wheel gets the oil.
- 1:45:56Speaker 5: Yes, and those people are wrong.
- 1:45:58Speaker 4: Okay, then you know what? Case closed.
- 1:46:01Speaker 12: Hold on.
- 1:46:01Speaker 5: What's not to.
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: Understand about that? I'm getting.
- 1:46:04Speaker 8: I see you and I hear you. But I didn't
- 1:46:07Speaker 8: shut down that portion of it.
- 1:46:10Speaker 3: No one is saying it's.
- 1:46:11Speaker 4: Wrong is shutting down that portion.
- 1:46:12Speaker 3: It is wrong.
- 1:46:13Speaker 4: Sammy, would you like to jump in?
- 1:46:14Speaker 3: No, no, no, don't.
- 1:46:16Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 1:46:17Speaker 5: Speaking of shutting down. We're talking to you.
- 1:46:20Speaker 4: Menace is talking.
- 1:46:22Speaker 14: I grew up hearing oil as well.
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:46:25Speaker 5: But she wasn't the one getting mega defensive.
- 1:46:27Speaker 16: No, but we did look it up in the dictionary
- 1:46:29Speaker 16: said that both are correct. And you guys, because you
- 1:46:32Speaker 16: had never heard oil before, said, no, it's not a thing.
- 1:46:36Speaker 5: We didn't.
- 1:46:38Speaker 4: I feel like I'm on Thorazine right now.
- 1:46:41Speaker 5: I'm going to move on from it because we weren't
- 1:46:43Speaker 5: saying it wasn't a thing. We were saying with the
- 1:46:45Speaker 5: thing that you knew or that you heard was incorrect
- 1:46:48Speaker 5: because that's not what the phrase is.
- 1:46:50Speaker 3: Got it.
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: Like.
- 1:46:51Speaker 3: Got it. That's it. We heard the reason.
- 1:46:53Speaker 12: Sounds good.
- 1:46:53Speaker 5: Like the squeaky wheel gets the jelly is a Kansas thing,
- 1:46:56Speaker 5: I guess.
- 1:46:57Speaker 4: No, never heard that in my life because that's not
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: a thing.
- 1:46:59Speaker 5: But if I had heard that, like you would say no.
- 1:47:01Speaker 5: I would still say that's right.
- 1:47:02Speaker 4: But many people texted and said, no, I grew up
- 1:47:04Speaker 4: that way too. So we're all wrong and we can
- 1:47:06Speaker 4: all accept that.
- 1:47:07Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:47:07Speaker 5: Well, every country has different expressions for things, right?
- 1:47:10Speaker 4: Do they?
- 1:47:11Speaker 3: Are you sure?
- 1:47:12Speaker 5: Quitting something cold turkey, that came from Canada. Have your
- 1:47:16Speaker 5: cake and eat it too, that came from England.
- 1:47:19Speaker 3: Always hated that expression. Why?
- 1:47:21Speaker 5: What, have your cake and eat it too?
- 1:47:22Speaker 8: Yeah, it's just dumb. Like, let's say you have cake
- 1:47:24Speaker 8: and not eat it.
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: Right. You have the cake. Oh, good. But I don't
- 1:47:28Speaker 3: get to eat it. What?
- 1:47:29Speaker 5: So these are some expressions that you'll hear here that
- 1:47:33Speaker 5: people in other countries don't get.
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:47:35Speaker 5: So they're not understanding. Plead the fifth, which makes sense.
- 1:47:39Speaker 3: That's not part of their court system. Right.
- 1:47:42Speaker 5: That makes sense that it would make, you know, perfect
- 1:47:44Speaker 5: sense to people here, but the other place, okay.
- 1:47:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:47:47Speaker 5: Which obviously means to remain quiet.
- 1:47:48Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:47:49Speaker 5: Putting lipstick on a pig.
- 1:47:51Speaker 8: People don't get that? No.
- 1:47:53Speaker 5: It seems pretty easy. To make superficial changes in an
- 1:47:57Speaker 5: attempt at making something more favorable.
- 1:47:59Speaker 4: It's not changing the foundation of the problem.
- 1:48:03Speaker 5: Riding shotgun is another expression that only people here understand.
- 1:48:06Speaker 4: That makes sense because that was from like covered wagons
- 1:48:09Speaker 4: and stuff.
- 1:48:09Speaker 5: Is that what that means?
- 1:48:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:48:10Speaker 5: I never understood.
- 1:48:12Speaker 4: The person driving the covered wagon drives it and then
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: the person next to them sits shotgun for any wayward
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: criminal activity.
- 1:48:19Speaker 5: Makes sense.
- 1:48:20Speaker 4: Yeah where i came from we said we word okay
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: we word wayward yeah i think he was trying to
- 1:48:26Speaker 4: funny uh jump on.
- 1:48:28Speaker 5: The bandwagon is an expression that we only understand here
- 1:48:31Speaker 5: so you know to support what's already popular okay you
- 1:48:33Speaker 5: know jump on the bandwagon in the nosebleeds Well, okay.
- 1:48:38Speaker 4: I thought everyone would understand.
- 1:48:39Speaker 5: Like, you're so high up.
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: Like the highest, cheapest seat. Yeah.
- 1:48:41Speaker 4: So high up your nosebleeds.
- 1:48:42Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:48:43Speaker 5: Green thumb. It means you're great at gardening.
- 1:48:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:48:45Speaker 5: You say that here, people know what you're talking about.
- 1:48:47Speaker 5: You say that other places, they might look at you funny.
- 1:48:49Speaker 4: But also, if somebody randomly said, what is having a
- 1:48:51Speaker 4: green thumb? I'd be like, I don't know.
- 1:48:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:48:53Speaker 4: That's not intuitive.
- 1:48:54Speaker 3: You're good with plants.
- 1:48:55Speaker 5: Much like our back and forth on the squeaky wheel
- 1:48:57Speaker 5: gets thee. Sounding like a broken record. Sounding like a
- 1:49:01Speaker 5: broken record.
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: Oh, that skips. Yeah.
- 1:49:04Speaker 5: Makes sense here, but other people don't really understand.
- 1:49:06Speaker 3: We're not the only ones with records.
- 1:49:09Speaker 5: Break a leg.
- 1:49:09Speaker 3: Yeah. Break a leg.
- 1:49:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:49:13Speaker 5: What's the origin of that?
- 1:49:14Speaker 3: Isn't that like theater talk?
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: It is.
- 1:49:16Speaker 3: It is.
- 1:49:16Speaker 8: It's bad luck to say good luck, so you say
- 1:49:19Speaker 8: something bad like break a leg.
- 1:49:20Speaker 4: Yeah, and I've also heard that it comes from being
- 1:49:23Speaker 4: in a cast, like the cast of a show, so
- 1:49:26Speaker 4: you're breaking your leg.
- 1:49:27Speaker 16: I thought it was that they used to clap with
- 1:49:29Speaker 16: their feet, and so it was break a leg because
- 1:49:31Speaker 16: they would stomp as an applaud to the performance.
- 1:49:34Speaker 3: Let's go with that.
- 1:49:35Speaker 4: That's cute.
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: I like that one.
- 1:49:36Speaker 5: Expressions we only understand here. You said somewhere else they
- 1:49:40Speaker 5: wouldn't understand. Shoot the breeze. Like, you know, I would
- 1:49:43Speaker 5: shoot in the breeze.
- 1:49:44Speaker 4: That one doesn't really make sense.
- 1:49:46Speaker 5: Gossip it, you know.
- 1:49:47Speaker 4: Yeah, but like, what are we shooting?
- 1:49:49Speaker 5: Shooting the breeze.
- 1:49:50Speaker 3: I don't know. Shoot the bat. I've heard it. Don't
- 1:49:53Speaker 3: know the origin.
- 1:49:54Speaker 5: I do love, and somebody on the text had said,
- 1:49:57Speaker 5: oh man, I love the new game. Because this whole
- 1:50:00Speaker 5: argument came out of our game of Battlecraps. Yeah.
- 1:50:03Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 1:50:03Speaker 5: And they say they love any game that involves us
- 1:50:06Speaker 5: and results in us arguing over stupid stuff.
- 1:50:08Speaker 4: So any game.
- 1:50:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:50:10Speaker 4: So literally all games.
- 1:50:11Speaker 3: All games.
- 1:50:13Speaker 8: All games.
- 1:50:13Speaker 5: Yeah, because we can't have anything where it doesn't just
- 1:50:15Speaker 5: devolve into arguments.
- 1:50:17Speaker 3: Oh, my favorite is when we start arguing on how
- 1:50:21Speaker 3: even to play the game. not even answers.
- 1:50:24Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 1:50:24Speaker 3: Like we're in the middle of.
- 1:50:25Speaker 5: Like, you know, it's been a long time since I've
- 1:50:28Speaker 5: played board games, but I seem to remember doing that.
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 1:50:32Speaker 5: When I was growing up and we would be playing
- 1:50:34Speaker 5: and people would argue over the rules and someone had
- 1:50:36Speaker 5: to break the rules out. No, no.
- 1:50:39Speaker 8: My aunt would make me cry during board games. I
- 1:50:41Speaker 8: would literally cry.
- 1:50:44Speaker 11: Insensitivity training for a politically correct world.
- 1:50:47Speaker 2: The Woody show.
- 1:50:49Speaker 5: And that's going to do it for Thursday.

- 1:51:57Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:51:57Speaker 5: Parting words of wisdom, please.
- 1:51:59Speaker 8: Yeah, later on today, ask your girl if she has
- 1:52:01Speaker 8: gained weight because that way she knows you're paying attention
- 1:52:04Speaker 8: to her.
- 1:52:04Speaker 4: Wait for Valentine's Day.
- 1:52:07Speaker 5: It'd be rude not to notice, you know?
- 1:52:08Speaker 2: Yeah, totally.
- 1:52:09Speaker 5: You didn't even notice.
- 1:52:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:52:12Speaker 5: I get that all the time. She'll go for a
- 1:52:14Speaker 5: haircut or something with the hair.
- 1:52:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:52:17Speaker 5: And isn't the whole point is that it looks the same, right?
- 1:52:20Speaker 3: Like it's just Especially with long hair.
- 1:52:22Speaker 8: I would never know.
- 1:52:24Speaker 5: I never notice.
- 1:52:25Speaker 4: A little cleaned up. I always notice when you guys
- 1:52:28Speaker 4: get haircuts.
- 1:52:28Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's all short.
- 1:52:29Speaker 5: Chicks notice that kind of stuff. Dudes just don't notice that.
- 1:52:33Speaker 5: It's not ingrained in us.
- 1:52:35Speaker 4: Oh, if Sammy has even a slight wave in her hair,
- 1:52:38Speaker 4: I'm like, oh, what's the occasion?
- 1:52:40Speaker 5: Never notice. All right, thank you very much, Greg Gorey.
- 1:52:43Speaker 3: Jim Woody.
- 1:52:44Speaker 5: We thank you so much for giving The Woody Show
- 1:52:45Speaker 5: some of your valuable time this morning. You know we

- 1:52:54Speaker 5: quit this bitch.
