- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Here comes the Mark Simone Show on seven.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Ten o R. Hey got a lot to talk about today.
- 0:11Speaker 3: We always give you the best daily briefing anywhere. Get
- 0:14Speaker 3: you caught up on everything, give you the inside story
- 0:17Speaker 3: on everything. Well, we'll get to who's getting sued from
- 0:20Speaker 3: the Grammy Awards last night. We'll get to the Epstein files.
- 0:22Speaker 3: We'll get to Don Lemon, We'll get to Mom Donnie,
- 0:26Speaker 3: We'll get to Andrew Cuomo and a whole lot more
- 0:30Speaker 3: coming up. So where do we even start? Groundhog Day?
- 0:35Speaker 3: Punks at Tony Phil came out and said, six more
- 0:38Speaker 3: weeks of winter. Now, let me make you feel better,
- 0:42Speaker 3: punks Atoni. Phil is always wrong. It's the stupidest phenomenon
- 0:47Speaker 3: in America, the dumbest day of the year. Paying attention
- 0:50Speaker 3: to this little rodent his batting average. He's been right
- 0:55Speaker 3: thirty five percent of the time. Thirty five percent of
- 0:58Speaker 3: the time, which means sixty five percent of the time
- 1:02Speaker 3: he's wrong, So don't take him seriously. The good news
- 1:05Speaker 3: is there's only seven weeks left until spring begins. Seven weeks.
- 1:10Speaker 3: In fact, next week spring training starts, pitchers and catchers
- 1:14Speaker 3: and all of that so you just got seven more
- 1:16Speaker 3: weeks of this. It's going to be a little warmer
- 1:18Speaker 3: this week, but still freezing. If you haven't been into Manhattan,
- 1:21Speaker 3: it looks good. The sidewalks are pretty clear, but there
- 1:24Speaker 3: is garbage piled up everywhere, massive piles of garbage on
- 1:29Speaker 3: the street. They haven't been collecting it for I don't know,
- 1:32Speaker 3: all kinds of reasons, something to do with the snow.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Good news is I guess if it's absolutely frozen, the
- 1:38Speaker 3: garbage won't smell, won't cause any problems. So hey, the
- 1:44Speaker 3: Milania documentary, by the way, was released. The Milania documentary
- 1:47Speaker 3: was released on Friday, and you read all the left
- 1:50Speaker 3: wing writers telling you how it is a complete bomb,
- 1:53Speaker 3: it wasn't going to do well. Pre ticket sales, that
- 1:56Speaker 3: everything was awful. Well, it turned out to be a
- 1:59Speaker 3: record weekend for a documentary, about eight million the first weekend,
- 2:05Speaker 3: which is huge. No documentary in the last decade or
- 2:09Speaker 3: two has done that well. So it was a huge,
- 2:12Speaker 3: huge hit. It's open, it's in theaters, go see it
- 2:15Speaker 3: if you want. Don Lemon arrested for invading and terrorizing
- 2:21Speaker 3: and going into that church and stopping and disrupting the
- 2:25Speaker 3: service in there. It's not just Don Lemon, by the way,
- 2:28Speaker 3: They've arrested a number of people in that mob. In fact,
- 2:31Speaker 3: just moments ago another two or three were arrested. And
- 2:35Speaker 3: it's against the law. You cannot go into a church
- 2:39Speaker 3: and try to disrupt the service. There's specific laws about that.
- 2:43Speaker 3: You cannot go into a church and try to intimidate
- 2:46Speaker 3: the people worshiping the service, or you cannot do anything
- 2:49Speaker 3: to disrupt it. The law actually came about because the
- 2:54Speaker 3: klu Klux Klan. That was something they did, going into
- 2:57Speaker 3: black churches and stopping the service and intimidating everybody in there.
- 3:01Speaker 3: It's a specific crime. You can go to jail for it.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Don Lemon has been arrested for it. Many people have
- 3:06Speaker 3: been arrested for it if you read the indictment. Because
- 3:11Speaker 3: the argument from Lemon will be I'm a journalist, I
- 3:13Speaker 3: was covering it. I'm just a journalist. Wow. There's a
- 3:16Speaker 3: couple of arguments there. One is he actually a journalist.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I don't know. I you even consider him a journalist.
- 3:22Speaker 3: As Charlie Gasperino points out, this guy has never ever, ever,
- 3:27Speaker 3: ever come out with any kind of story. He In fact,
- 3:32Speaker 3: the record shows he was a horror. If he was
- 3:34Speaker 3: a journalist, he was a horrible journalist, never broke a
- 3:36Speaker 3: news story in his life. It was basically a talk
- 3:39Speaker 3: show host on CNN, an anchor. I don't know if
- 3:42Speaker 3: you call him a journalist. He was a disaster at CNN,
- 3:47Speaker 3: so much so that they fired him. I don't know
- 3:48Speaker 3: if you call that a journalist. But the other thing
- 3:50Speaker 3: is you can't. It's one thing if you go in
- 3:52Speaker 3: there with your microphone and camera covering it, if you
- 3:55Speaker 3: do anything to stop the service or intimidate anybody in there,
- 3:58Speaker 3: you're a criminal. So in the court filing, it says
- 4:02Speaker 3: at one point, defendant Lemon posted himself at the main
- 4:05Speaker 3: door of the church, confronted congregants and physically obstructed them
- 4:11Speaker 3: as they tried to exit the church building to challenge
- 4:14Speaker 3: them with facts about US immigration policy. The pastor repeatedly
- 4:19Speaker 3: asked Lemon to leave the church. So that's where the
- 4:21Speaker 3: crime will be. Now, Remember it wasn't Donald Trump's decision
- 4:26Speaker 3: to indict him. It wasn't anybody in the Justice Department.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I mean, they certainly wanted to, but the first judge
- 4:32Speaker 3: tossed it out, so they sent it to a grand jury.
- 4:36Speaker 3: It was the grand jury that made the decision. They
- 4:39Speaker 3: voted after looking at the evidence, they voted to indict
- 4:42Speaker 3: Don Lemon. Now, if you go to my Twitter, you'll
- 4:45Speaker 3: see some video from a couple of years ago. It's
- 4:48Speaker 3: two left wing, really biased left wing types of was,
- 4:51Speaker 3: Elizabeth Warren and Gail King, and they're saying, you have
- 4:56Speaker 3: to respect the process. If a grand jury votes to indict,
- 4:59Speaker 3: you must respect that process. They were talking about Trump
- 5:03Speaker 3: at the time, but that video is going to backfire
- 5:06Speaker 3: on them. So now, hey, the other question some people
- 5:09Speaker 3: are wondering, well, why were they going to this church.
- 5:13Speaker 3: The church doesn't set immigration policy. What does the church
- 5:16Speaker 3: have to do with it? Well, the reason they went
- 5:17Speaker 3: in there that church. The pastor of the church, David Easterwood,
- 5:24Speaker 3: also serves as acting director for ICE in the Saint
- 5:28Speaker 3: Paul Field office. You know it's Minneapolis Saint Paul. So
- 5:31Speaker 3: the acting director of the ICE office in Saint Paul
- 5:35Speaker 3: is also the pastor of the church. That's why they
- 5:37Speaker 3: targeted him. That's the reason that ICE officers wear masks.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Once you identify these people, the mob will go terrorize
- 5:46Speaker 3: their family, their children at their house. They'll chase them
- 5:49Speaker 3: down everywhere. So Hey, by the way, Don Lemon will
- 5:53Speaker 3: be on Jimmy Kimmel tonight. The only reason this might
- 5:56Speaker 3: have been a horrible backfire is even Donald Trump said it.
- 6:01Speaker 3: He may actually end up reviving the career of Don Lemon.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Don Lemon, disgraced, fired, couldn't get a job for the
- 6:09Speaker 3: last few years, totally out of work. Nobody would hire him.
- 6:12Speaker 3: This could put him back on the map. Lemon is
- 6:15Speaker 3: all over the place. He'll be on Kimmel tonight. Here's Lemon.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yesterday, the DOJ sent a team of federal agents to
- 6:21Speaker 1: arrest me in the middle of the night for something
- 6:23Speaker 1: that I'd been doing for the last thirty years, and
- 6:27Speaker 1: that is covering the news. The First Amendment of the
- 6:31Speaker 1: Constitution protects that work for me and for countless of
- 6:34Speaker 1: other journalists.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why they never bothered. Never in thirty years
- 6:38Speaker 3: did they bother you till you went in and tried
- 6:39Speaker 3: to stop that church service and stop people from coming
- 6:42Speaker 3: or going.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Last night, the DOJ sent a team of federal agents
- 6:45Speaker 1: to arrest me in the middle of the night for
- 6:48Speaker 1: something that I'd been doing for the last thirty years,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and that is covering the news.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Hey, doesn't it sound like the same clip I just played?
- 6:58Speaker 3: Why is it on here with a different label? All right,
- 7:00Speaker 3: here's another eleven.
- 7:01Speaker 1: There is no more important time than right now, this
- 7:05Speaker 1: very moment for a free and independent media that shines
- 7:08Speaker 1: a light on the truth and holds those in power accountable.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Again, I will not stop now. I will not stop ever.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Oh thank God. Well, talk about free and independent. There
- 7:19Speaker 3: you go. I mean, he's unpaid, he's doing it from
- 7:22Speaker 3: home in his pajamas. Doesn't work for anybody. It's just
- 7:26Speaker 3: a homemade podcast, all right. I guess that's free and independent.
- 7:31Speaker 3: The Grammy Awards last night. I you know, if there's
- 7:35Speaker 3: one place where d EI is not welcome, there's no DEI,
- 7:41Speaker 3: there's no diversity. It's the Grammy Awards. There's no diversity
- 7:47Speaker 3: allowed there. You must think what they think, you must
- 7:50Speaker 3: believe what they believe. You have to hate Trump or
- 7:52Speaker 3: there is no place for you in the Grammy Awards.
- 7:55Speaker 3: You must be totally woke left wing. Now. Trevor Noah
- 8:01Speaker 3: is the host of the Grammy Awards getting a lot
- 8:04Speaker 3: of complaints, by the way, a lot of people complaining
- 8:06Speaker 3: about this. The Grammy Awards are supposed to be about
- 8:09Speaker 3: music and fun and entertainment. They're not supposed to be political.
- 8:14Speaker 3: This guy turns it into Morning Joe. It's like just
- 8:18Speaker 3: bad politics. Here's Trevor Noah.
- 8:21Speaker 2: That is a Grammy that every artist wants, almost as
- 8:26Speaker 2: much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense. I mean,
- 8:29Speaker 2: because Epstein's Island is gone. He needs a new one
- 8:31Speaker 2: to hang out with Bill Clinton. So oh, I told
- 8:34Speaker 2: you it's my last year. What are you going to
- 8:37Speaker 2: do about it?
- 8:37Speaker 3: Ah? He jokes about Trump going to Epstein Island. Well
- 8:41Speaker 3: that got a huge laugh. However, Donald Trump has just
- 8:47Speaker 3: announced he will sue Trevor Noah. His attorneys are about
- 8:51Speaker 3: to go after Trevor Noah. He's going to have a
- 8:52Speaker 3: hell of a loss a Trump has never been anywhere
- 8:55Speaker 3: near Epstein Island, never had anything to do with Epstein
- 8:59Speaker 3: after his very early days, no connection Epstein Island. Trevor
- 9:04Speaker 3: Noah is going to have a very tough time defending
- 9:08Speaker 3: that lawsuit. So that's gonna he's gonna have a real
- 9:11Speaker 3: problem with that. Then, of course he went after Nicki Minaj,
- 9:14Speaker 3: a big, big Trump supporter, declared herself a huge Trump supporter,
- 9:18Speaker 3: So of course the Grammys where diversity is not allowed.
- 9:21Speaker 3: There's no dei, no diversity. He goes after, goes after her.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Nicki Minaj is not here. She is not here.
- 9:32Speaker 2: She is she is still at the White House with
- 9:36Speaker 2: Donald Trump discussing very important issues at chally.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Nikki, I have the biggest I haven't. Everybody's saying it, Nikki.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I know they say to you.
- 9:45Speaker 2: But it's me.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Yeah, you go. It's a Trevor Noah or is he'll
- 9:49Speaker 3: be known in the next few months the defendant Trevor
- 9:52Speaker 3: Noah about to get sued by Donald Trump. This will
- 9:56Speaker 3: be a very interesting, interesting lawsuit. So U, speaking of Epstein,
- 10:02Speaker 3: three three million pages released, three million pages. You know
- 10:08Speaker 3: it took to go through. They got to read all
- 10:09Speaker 3: three million pages, check them, remove things. Who's the big
- 10:13Speaker 3: loser out of this, Prince Andrew because it really looks
- 10:17Speaker 3: bad for him. There's all kinds of pictures of him
- 10:20Speaker 3: on his hands and knees over a woman doing all
- 10:24Speaker 3: kinds of creepy, weird things with this young woman, Very
- 10:27Speaker 3: very very bad these pictures. Now, the problem is the
- 10:31Speaker 3: first thing they do with the New York Times or
- 10:33Speaker 3: anywhere when it's how you cat you read three million
- 10:36Speaker 3: pages well, there's software that can read it for you,
- 10:38Speaker 3: and you can type in keywords. So at the New
- 10:40Speaker 3: York Times, all the media, Chris first thing he typed
- 10:43Speaker 3: was Trump. There out came three thousand mentions of Trump.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Three thousand, nothing significant, nothing. Now. Somewhere in this thing
- 10:53Speaker 3: is a bunch of witness testimony. One witness yelling about
- 10:57Speaker 3: Trump committed forced her to commit a oral sect since
- 11:00Speaker 3: she's under age. Investigators never believed this testimony. There's tons
- 11:04Speaker 3: and tons and tons of witness testimony in this process.
- 11:07Speaker 3: It was tossed out. It was just not credible, not believable.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Remember the one she went after, Alan Dershwitz said he
- 11:14Speaker 3: was part of this was a Goufray, Jewfray, whatever her
- 11:16Speaker 3: name was. And there were pretty serious allegations. But it
- 11:21Speaker 3: turned out she was lying. They proved she was lying.
- 11:23Speaker 3: She finally confessed that she was lying. So a lot
- 11:25Speaker 3: of that witness testimony is worthless. But who got hurt
- 11:28Speaker 3: by the release this weekend? A guy named Casey Wasserman.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Lou Washerman was the most powerful man in Hollywood. Lou
- 11:36Speaker 3: Wasserman ran Hollywood for forty fifty years. This is his grandson,
- 11:41Speaker 3: Casey Wasserman, who's a big deal in LA, big producer.
- 11:44Speaker 3: He was the head of the Olympics in LA. Turns
- 11:48Speaker 3: out he was writing all these emails back and forth
- 11:51Speaker 3: with Gallaine Maxwell about various women. He was married at
- 11:55Speaker 3: the time. But apparently that's one thing about Epstein. It
- 11:58Speaker 3: wasn't young girls. It was any kind of win. He'd
- 12:00Speaker 3: fix up with women left and right, so with Glaine.
- 12:03Speaker 3: So this Casey Wassman was involved in that the wife
- 12:07Speaker 3: eventually left him. Giants co owner Steve Tish going back
- 12:13Speaker 3: and forth with Epstein and the emails he was and
- 12:16Speaker 3: he's pointed out he never actually took Epstein up on anything,
- 12:19Speaker 3: never actually went and did anything, but he was just
- 12:22Speaker 3: emailing him back and forth about women. If he went
- 12:24Speaker 3: to an Epstein party, there were lots of women around.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not talking about underage girls. They were
- 12:31Speaker 3: lurking around there, but it was mostly just good looking
- 12:33Speaker 3: women all over the place. So Giants co owner Steve
- 12:36Speaker 3: Tish would email back and forth with Epstein about some
- 12:40Speaker 3: of the women. He would get what they called scouting reports.
- 12:44Speaker 3: There's one where he asks is that about the woman?
- 12:47Speaker 3: Is she a pro or a civilian? Is she a
- 12:49Speaker 3: working girl, that kind of stuff. Elon Musk is in there,
- 12:54Speaker 3: Epstein emailing back and forth with him about visiting the island. Now, Musk,
- 13:00Speaker 3: I think is okay. Here. He was down there somewhere
- 13:03Speaker 3: in the bomb somewhere near the island, and Epstein kept
- 13:08Speaker 3: inviting him to come over, and then at one point
- 13:10Speaker 3: he emailed, what night will be the wildest party? But
- 13:13Speaker 3: I don't think he meant anything boy it because he
- 13:15Speaker 3: he mentioned coming with his girlfriend. So that sounds pretty
- 13:19Speaker 3: honest and it Musk says he never actually went. Bill Gates. Well,
- 13:24Speaker 3: there's emails in there alleging that Bill Gates was at
- 13:28Speaker 3: Epstein's house for many, many, many, many many many hours
- 13:31Speaker 3: into the night, and obviously lots of women there, not underagent,
- 13:35Speaker 3: lots of women. But there's emails saying he needed help
- 13:38Speaker 3: getting some drugs to get rid of courting. These emails
- 13:42Speaker 3: a STD a sexually transmitted disease he got from a
- 13:47Speaker 3: Russian girl. There. You see this Gates is not good
- 13:52Speaker 3: with viruses. That's one thing about Windows. It's got viruses. Apple,
- 13:56Speaker 3: you never have to worry about a virus. Windows. You
- 13:59Speaker 3: got to have anti virus software. This guy, wherever he
- 14:02Speaker 3: goes gets a virus. Who else Howard Lutnick, the Commerce
- 14:06Speaker 3: secretary who said he'd cut off Epstein in two thousand
- 14:10Speaker 3: and twelve. It looks like there's emails back and forth
- 14:13Speaker 3: after that, but it doesn't look like anything with Howard
- 14:19Speaker 3: Lutnon except going to lunch or something that's about it,
- 14:24Speaker 3: and a newly in this release all of Epstein's campaign donations,
- 14:30Speaker 3: and it looks like for about thirty years he gave
- 14:35Speaker 3: ninety percent of his money to Democrats. He was a
- 14:37Speaker 3: big Chuck Schumer donor, Bill Clinton donor, Hillary Clinton donor.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Oh you know else is in there. Reid Hoffman. Reid Hoffman,
- 14:45Speaker 3: the tech billionaire, the big anti Trump guy who funds
- 14:48Speaker 3: all kinds of anti Trump stuff. Hay's in there, all
- 14:50Speaker 3: tangled up with stuff. And Michael Wolf. You know, this
- 14:55Speaker 3: little wormy guy. He's a worm with the big glasses on. Weirdo,
- 15:00Speaker 3: wormy little guy, big Trump hater. He writes these books
- 15:04Speaker 3: all about terrible things about Trump. None of them are true.
- 15:06Speaker 3: They're the most ridiculous books. Nobody believes them except the
- 15:11Speaker 3: Left will use him. They'll put him on Meet the Press,
- 15:14Speaker 3: this little gossipy tabloid idiots on Meet the Press George
- 15:18Speaker 3: Stephanopolis and I'll let him spew all of his nonsense.
- 15:21Speaker 3: If you go Instagram watch his videos every day. There's
- 15:24Speaker 3: a video of him in his house telling you incredible
- 15:26Speaker 3: stories about the horrifying, evil things that Trump does. None
- 15:30Speaker 3: of them are true, but they're very funny videos to watch.
- 15:34Speaker 3: So apparently he was very close to Epstein, really close
- 15:39Speaker 3: to Epstein and plotting with Epstein on how to get
- 15:43Speaker 3: Trump impeached, how to destroy Trump's reputation. Wolf and Epstein.
- 15:48Speaker 3: It's in writing in these emails. Now Trump has announced
- 15:51Speaker 3: he will sue Michael Wolf, so watch for that. That
- 15:55Speaker 3: could be a big, big lawsuit.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Wolf was a third grade writer, was conspiring with Jeffrey.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Epstein to hurt me politically or otherwise. And that came
- 16:06Speaker 3: through loud and clear. So we'll probably sue Wolf. Yeah,
- 16:09Speaker 3: now that could be interesting loss. But again that's the
- 16:11Speaker 3: problem that Don Lemon. So you're gonna make Don Lemon
- 16:13Speaker 3: back into a successful celebrity again. Okay, Well that's the
- 16:18Speaker 3: price you pay, and it could make Wolf even bigger.
- 16:21Speaker 3: But it's worth doing. You got you gotta do the
- 16:23Speaker 3: right thing. Hey, Well, take some calls in a minute
- 16:25Speaker 3: eight hundred three two one. The zero seven ten is
- 16:29Speaker 3: the number eight hundred three two one, zero seven ten
