- 1:04Right everybody, welcome back to this week's episode of the
- 1:07Random Heat and Ramblings podcast.
- 1:10Hope you are doing well, staying healthy, staying happy, staying
- 1:14enriched and staying fulfilled in your life, in your existence,
- 1:19in all the ways that you're. Out here, in and about.
- 1:23So got a special guest lined up for us here this week, which is,
- 1:28which is a rarity these days. It's not for a lack of trying,
- 1:30it's not for lack of not wanting people.
- 1:32It's just don't have that many lined up these days.
- 1:34So if you're listening to this and watching this and you do
- 1:37want to get in touch with me about potentially coming onto
- 1:39the show and becoming a guest, you can do so by just emailing
- 1:44me. Midgardenmusingstn@gmail.com
- 1:47would be the best way to do it. If you want to DM me on any of
- 1:50my socials that is another way. I just may be a bit delayed.
- 1:55I do usually try to get back to people over e-mail, you know as
- 1:58as quickly as possible. So emailing me is the best way
- 2:03down in the description of this video, if you're watching this
- 2:04on Patreon is my link tree, link information as well as a new
- 2:08website. If you guys aren't aware, I've
- 2:10I've got a new blog site up for the podcast called random even
- 2:13ramblings.com and I do some blog articles up there when I can and
- 2:19it's just kind of the, the, the official website of the podcast.
- 2:24So that's random. heathenramblings.com.
- 2:26Check it out. Link tree link is going to
- 2:28include that information or you can just go to your browser and
- 2:30type it in and check out some of my blogs.
- 2:35Follow me on all my socials, show the support in any way that
- 2:38you can. If you just listen to this on
- 2:39the audio platforms, I greatly appreciate that as well.
- 2:43But joining my Patreon at the Carl tier, which is just a $1.00
- 2:48pledge is honestly the best way that you can help monetarily
- 2:50support the podcast because it's not big of a, it's not that big
- 2:53of a drop in the in the bucket for you.
- 2:56But every person that does join at that level helps contribute
- 3:01to the overall cost of the production of this show.
- 3:05And you get to watch things. You get to see my guests, you
- 3:07get to see me, which may not be that big of a deal or any other
- 3:10things that might be going on where we're sharing stuff on
- 3:13screen or, or, or anything that that's visually, you know,
- 3:17entertaining or, or, or appealing.
- 3:19So that's patreon.com/midgard musings.
- 3:22Join at the Carl tier. It's like just a $1.00 pledge.
- 3:25I do have other tiers. Check them out if you want to.
- 3:28But regardless, just the fact that you're catching this in
- 3:31whatever way that you are on whatever platform that you are
- 3:34is appreciated. All right, so without further
- 3:37ado, we're going to go ahead and bring on my guest here for this
- 3:39week, a return guest. Also, his name goes by Beaver
- 3:44around the community or in in his circles.
- 3:47So the Beaver has been on the show before.
- 3:49I believe it was a season or two ago.
- 3:51We talked about, you know, the aspects of healing and and
- 3:56things that that pertain to, you know, the the music of high lung
- 4:00specifically. I know because Beaver was came
- 4:03to me kind of through another mutual friend of ours, Patrick
- 4:06Walsh. You all know him from the
- 4:07Highland Mental Spiritual Health group on Facebook.
- 4:11And so Beaver recently was able to participate in a very special
- 4:17and interesting plant medicine retreat down in Ecuador.
- 4:23And he had talked or alluded about it in the last time that
- 4:26he was on the show and he reached back out to me, wanted
- 4:29to talk a bit about this experience.
- 4:30So let's go ahead and just bring him on the show here.
- 4:33Now, again, we got Beaver coming from places unknown.
- 4:37I'm not exactly sure where you are at Beaver, but thanks for
- 4:40being here. And yeah, welcome back to
- 4:43welcome back to the show, man. Thanks for wanting to come and
- 4:46talk about your experience. All right, everybody, we are
- 4:53going to be doing doing things just a little bit differently
- 4:58here for you all today. We were having some.
- 5:01Technical issues on the other software.
- 5:03So this is going to be how we're doing this interview this week.
- 5:07So here went to here in the studio today.
- 5:09You're here with me today is a return guest.
- 5:11His name is Beaver. As I mentioned kind of in the in
- 5:15the intro here. And Beaver's going to be again,
- 5:18talking with us a bit about a healing experience, an
- 5:22experience involving plant medicine where he went to
- 5:27Ecuador and got a chance to be introduced, I guess.
- 5:34Was this your first time being introduced to this plant
- 5:37medicine fever? Yeah.
- 5:41So introduced and and and kind of exposed to the these types of
- 5:46things. So Beaver, welcome back to the
- 5:49show, man. Thanks for being here.
- 5:51Yeah, thank you for having me. I'm excited to hear about this.
- 5:56I'm a big advocate, you know, of, of plant medicine when we
- 6:02talk about things like this, there's, there's even still even
- 6:06to this day, you know, like a bit of a misunderstanding or
- 6:12maybe ignorance or stigma attached to these types of
- 6:16things. But for the, for the sake of,
- 6:19you know, transparency and awareness when we're talking
- 6:21about plant medicine, what are some of the things that that
- 6:24your journey in plant medicine has involved up to this point?
- 6:32As far as what I've done so far. Right, right.
- 6:37Yeah, as many little bit of weed and it was mid last year I tried
- 6:49the five MEODMT. OK, wow.
- 6:55Yeah, the weeds, not so much, but yeah, the DMT, that could be
- 6:57some heavy duty stuff, but that's not nothing like that was
- 7:03what was like this this experience that you had going to
- 7:08to Ecuador and being introduced to this type of plant medicine
- 7:14down there, right. Yeah, it was completely
- 7:17different. OK, so.
- 7:20Let's just talk about, let's just go right into it.
- 7:23How did you end up getting, how did you find out about this,
- 7:26this opportunity to, to, to go down there to, to Ecuador and be
- 7:33a part of this? How did that start for you?
- 7:37I think I was starting to talk about it on the other podcast.
- 7:42It was when I was in Colorado. For how long?
- 7:45I had the one-on-one blue shook session with Nicholas Shipper
- 7:51and at the end he was starting to tell me about the retreat
- 7:56that he was putting on and that it would be a possibility of me
- 8:04getting in for that. Because he does have a screening
- 8:08process for who is able to come and what not, and a lot of it is
- 8:16with your gut health. Because ayahuasca can be little
- 8:23hush on the garden. Yeah, so for the for, for people
- 8:28maybe that don't know this, this journey that you went on was a
- 8:33little journey. I mean, you had to fly out of
- 8:34the country down to Ecuador and Ayahuasca was they called him I
- 8:44think mother Ayahuasca. It's an indigenous medicine,
- 8:46right? It's it's, it's very specific to
- 8:49a native culture from that part of the world.
- 8:54Yep, they've been had a Taita come in and his brother for
- 9:01that. They also had a medicine woman
- 9:05down there. She was with us a lot longer
- 9:09than the Taita, but they are from the Cofan tribe that's a
- 9:17little farther north than Ecuador.
- 9:23And actually follow the Taita's brother on Instagram now.
- 9:32He makes videos and stuff and that helps bring awareness
- 9:39because they're trying to fight for the homeland and that right
- 9:42now too. Hold on what little they have
- 9:47left. So your, your journey to Ecuador
- 9:53kind of started with a meeting or, or, or a workshop that
- 9:58Nicholas shipper of high lung was doing here in the States
- 10:03right out of Colorado high lung ritual couple years back, right?
- 10:07Or last year, or maybe I forget when it was, but.
- 10:10Yeah, would have been last year, last year, OK.
- 10:15So one of their last, it's one of their last appearances in the
- 10:18States. Was that Red Rocks in Colorado?
- 10:22Was that, is that, is that the place that you talked to,
- 10:25shipper? Yeah, we met kind of more by the
- 10:29Denver area. He was trying to find a quiet
- 10:34enough place and something to also incorporate all the
- 10:40elements. You have been right next to a
- 10:45river. Yeah, we did a copy session
- 10:53there and. Yeah.
- 10:56Really stuff and talk about some things and like I said at the
- 11:02end he was telling me about the retreat and as soon as I see
- 11:07that he posted it, I signed up for it.
- 11:12Wow, So this was kind of an Invitational thing, right?
- 11:16Would you say this wasn't something that was just like,
- 11:19hey, anybody and everybody can just hop on a plane, show up and
- 11:22and get their medicine Like this was this was very elite or, or
- 11:27special, I think from the sounds of it.
- 11:29Would you say that's accurate? Yeah, there's an application
- 11:32process you have to go through, and he would follow him on
- 11:41Instagram. Now he starts releasing it to a
- 11:46certain group of people. Then as time goes on, he'll
- 11:53broaden that. Well, interesting.
- 11:57So is, is, is, is the, is the whole thing pretty much his
- 12:03project or is he just a part of the, the, the, the, the ceremony
- 12:09or the retreat? And, and, and I guess I would
- 12:12ask like, is it a retreat? So do you go away for X amount
- 12:17of days or weeks? Or like, what's the whole like,
- 12:18how does it? I've never, I've never talked to
- 12:21anybody who's gone away on one of these types of things, so.
- 12:25Yeah, it's a retreat night. He recommends coming in like a
- 12:31day or two early kind of help with the jet lag.
- 12:37Then there's a pick up spot that he has that everyone will get
- 12:42picked up at and we drove to the location that there's actually
- 12:49only one Rd. that goes in and out the way we were at in Mindu
- 12:59and it was February 3rd to the 8th that we spent there.
- 13:10So 5 days in February. Yeah, which down there was
- 13:17actually pretty warm. Oh yeah, Ecuador.
- 13:20I mean, you're, you're, you're quite near the equator, I think.
- 13:25Yeah. And so, yeah, it's, it's got to
- 13:27be tropical almost year round, probably sometimes worse more
- 13:30than or worse or, you know, weather wise heat and all that.
- 13:34But I, I, I would imagine that our, you know, up here in the
- 13:38States, you know, the, the, the winter months down there that
- 13:41far have got to be quite pleasant.
- 13:44Yeah, they have dry season and a wet season.
- 13:48OK. And we were down there in the
- 13:50wet season. Oh yeah.
- 13:53And pretty much every day we got rain.
- 13:57Really. So the OK, so, so you're down
- 14:03there for five days for the retreat.
- 14:04So it's a five day long retreat, right?
- 14:07Yeah. And that so going back to my
- 14:10first does does shipper is it is it his thing or is he just there
- 14:16to help with it? It's.
- 14:20Pretty him and his wife Cecily. Him and his wife kind of do it,
- 14:24OK? Yeah, and they have other people
- 14:28helping with. OK.
- 14:32Then they brought in the Taita from the coupon tribe for the
- 14:37ceremony because for that he was more as I forget the term that
- 14:49he used, but he was more there for mental support and that
- 14:54basically. Does does so that he doesn't
- 15:01administer the medicine right? No, even down there with the
- 15:09where you sell in the hot Bay, the medicine woman was the one
- 15:15administering it there. Can you, can you, can you tell
- 15:21the people that are listening and watching?
- 15:23You say, you said hot Bay. I know what it is because I've,
- 15:27I've, I've been blessed enough to have a man of the, you know,
- 15:34Toltec traditions administer that medicine to me before I
- 15:38know what it is. Can you describe to the people
- 15:41what HAPE is? Or rape I think is another term
- 15:43that gets sometimes used but. Yeah, I've heard rape too.
- 15:49Yeah. So it's a sacred Indian tobacco.
- 15:52It's thank you in a small powder form.
- 15:58They got a special instrument that they use that they put it
- 16:03in and it gets blown up into the nostrils and has a very calming
- 16:13effect on you and essentially really helps you think and hone
- 16:22in on your intent that you want to work on.
- 16:28Yeah. I've heard that some HAPE
- 16:35ceremonies the HAPE is may infuse may be the wrong word,
- 16:43but is also there There's other medicine incorporated into the
- 16:46HAPE, it's not just the tobacco. Was your HAPE experience down in
- 16:51Ecuador? Did it did it involve just the
- 16:53HAPE or were there other medicine incorporate into it?
- 17:00I think they had a couple other stuff been worth it.
- 17:06I'm not pretty certain on what was all in it, but I know I
- 17:13heard them talking about it on what might have been in there.
- 17:18Yeah, I'm sure they talk about it or they let you know ahead of
- 17:21time they like the for safety and liability and all that.
- 17:27So was and was this the only medicine that was administered
- 17:30during the five day retreat? The way you saw cafe and
- 17:37ayahuasca, whatever. Ayahuasca, Yeah.
- 17:43Wow. What was, you know, so being
- 17:47that you've kind of, you know, you know, it doesn't sound like
- 17:52you're a stranger to plant medicine.
- 17:53You know, you talked earlier about marijuana, you talked
- 17:56about DMT. You know, these are, these are
- 17:57psychoactive things that can really play a part in our
- 18:02perception of the world around us.
- 18:04Open things up to allow us to be connected and experience the
- 18:09universe and, and, and our involvement with, with all of it
- 18:12in a much pure and a much more connected way.
- 18:17Was was your experience with with with mother Ayahuasca like
- 18:24anything else that you've experienced before?
- 18:26Like can you compare it to anything?
- 18:28Else no. I mean some of the effects kind
- 18:34of felt like weed, like trying to move around in that, but the
- 18:41journey in that itself. I don't have any other
- 18:46experiences that could describe. Wow, was the was it a how?
- 18:57How was that medicine? How was it administered?
- 18:59Was it a a smoked ingested tea? It was made into a tea.
- 19:06Yeah, he had the all right, Hoska, almost in a concentrated
- 19:11form, you know, container that kind of looked like it might
- 19:18have been darkened. But he would take out the amount
- 19:23that he wanted for each one because he made each cup as he
- 19:29went. We actually stood in a line and
- 19:35everyone got served as we went up.
- 19:41We drank the tea and then went and sat down and laid down
- 19:46however we wanted to do it. But yeah, you'd take out the
- 19:51amount that he wanted and then with water, it was actually in a
- 19:58wooden bowl almost anyway, and we would drink it and the bowl
- 20:07back to the taita and then go back to where we were at.
- 20:13Go back to your own like sitting places or or bed roll or
- 20:18whatever. I'm assuming was like a was it?
- 20:20So you were one of how many people at this, at this retreat?
- 20:25Can you say how many? How many other attendees were
- 20:28there? There were I believe 14 of us
- 20:32brought all everyone participated on the first one.
- 20:38And so there was one guy that headed off on the first one,
- 20:46they didn't feel he needed to do the second ceremony, so he end
- 20:54up staying back and they end up doing something else by the fire
- 20:59back at the main area while we were doing our ceremony for the
- 21:04second time. But yeah, we had crystal little
- 21:10pads that we all had lined out and I'm sleeping bags or what
- 21:17not 'cause it they get a little bit cold at night.
- 21:23And we each had our own puke bucket.
- 21:28In this case we had the Purge. Oh.
- 21:32Yeah. So there I'm assuming that the
- 21:35one of the one of the things that the medicine does is induce
- 21:41vomiting or can induce vomiting. Right.
- 21:46In vomiting or out the other end.
- 21:50Oh yeah, so there's there's a purging aspect to the medicine
- 21:55that can trigger the those responses in the body.
- 21:59Yeah. And timing of that is dependent
- 22:03on each person. And you're all there to to
- 22:08witness this, right? I mean, it's a, is it a common
- 22:10area when everybody's taking the medicine?
- 22:13Does does everybody stay in the same central common area or are
- 22:18you all going away from each other after receiving the
- 22:22medicine, after being served the medicine?
- 22:24Nope. It was all one common area, just
- 22:30enough space in between US and by our heads for Nicholas
- 22:36Shipper and the others to come by if needed be for support in
- 22:42that. But others, yeah, we were all in
- 22:47the same area as the Taita and Alex would start singing and
- 22:57different instruments and that kind of help with the journey
- 23:01and everything. And.
- 23:08The light was very minimal, so they were saying just enough
- 23:15light can actually pull you out of the journey.
- 23:20They had a fire going in the background, but it was a very
- 23:24low fire. Oh wow, so it's dark or on the
- 23:30darker end of the light spectrum?
- 23:33Now it is do it because it was done 9:00 or so when we started.
- 23:42Both times we were having to use flashlights to kind of get up
- 23:49there. And then we're also not allowed
- 23:56our phones, but we're at the ceremony kind of completely on.
- 24:03The whole purpose of the retreat is to disconnect from society
- 24:08and everything and kind of focus in on yourself to heal.
- 24:16Wow. So I'd like to know a little bit
- 24:20about like your individual experience, if you could kind of
- 24:25walk us through what it was like to, I mean, you, you, you had to
- 24:32fly and, and arrive, I guess, in Ecuador, right?
- 24:35So from the moment you arrived in Ecuador, could you take us
- 24:40kind of, could you start and, and kind of tell us, paint a
- 24:44picture for us what it was like arriving there and then the next
- 24:485 days for you, like can, can you kind of paint that picture
- 24:54for us? You know, yeah, so like I said
- 24:58before, I arrived early to help recover from the jet lag and
- 25:03that, but arrived in Quito and end up getting a ride to the
- 25:13hotel that I got and it was late when I got in.
- 25:19Then I'm just going to bed that night.
- 25:23The next day on the Sunday, I end up doing a bunch of walking
- 25:30around checking out Quito. I was kind of in the downtown
- 25:37area kind of more in the historical part.
- 25:43I went to go check out some of the museums there and I end up
- 25:51seeing a bunch of the vendors outside in that and it was
- 25:57interesting for them to see me is I was wearing my kilt and a
- 26:02free hugs T-shirt. You didn't look like a you
- 26:08didn't look like you belonged in Ecuador wearing a kilt and a
- 26:10Free Hugs T-shirt. I guess, yeah, you stood out a
- 26:14little bit. Well, I was getting a few lugs,
- 26:20yeah. So I was spent a couple hours
- 26:24just walking around try to check out one museum.
- 26:29I was wasn't sure how to get on a tour or see any stuff there.
- 26:387:00 in over to another one and Century had a small interview
- 26:46outside of that one from someone there asking me about where I
- 26:52was from and what I was down there for and that and checked
- 26:58out that museum, which was pretty neat.
- 27:03And we went to this cafe place to a meeting up with some of the
- 27:12other members but a community. Members meaning like the other
- 27:20people that were there for the retreat.
- 27:22Yeah. Gotcha.
- 27:24And Nicholas end up showing up there with the drum maker and
- 27:33his wife. And we were there for a couple
- 27:39hours just talking, kind of sharing how we all came to that
- 27:49moment and how we all found out about the retreat and all that.
- 27:56And most of the people that actually was through Hylong that
- 28:01they found out about the retreat, you know, from
- 28:05following Nicholas Instagram, then ran up putting ways.
- 28:13After a while, I went to a market to find a poncho.
- 28:21I was able to find one, and I was then trying to find a place
- 28:26to eat and almost gotten more. No way.
- 28:33Yeah, if you're down there alone and you're not around a lot of
- 28:38people, you you have to watch out for that.
- 28:42And they actually, oh, man, yeah.
- 28:44They actually threw something on me.
- 28:49It was kind of widespread too, right there.
- 28:55Was rug or something maybe? I was just a mixture of stuff.
- 29:00Nicholas was telling me about that.
- 29:04Oh wow. It was meant to have a foul odor
- 29:08to it but there was 2 widespread that would come from a bird or
- 29:14anything but they were trying to then wipe it off and trying to
- 29:20keep my chin way off so I couldn't see what their hands
- 29:24were doing below but. They got wow.
- 29:30So you actually had like people messing with you there.
- 29:34Yeah, two people trying to mess with me, I end up getting away
- 29:39from them without having to turn to violence.
- 29:43That's good. What a start, huh?
- 29:47What a way to start the start everything off.
- 29:50You know, they're trying to keep from getting taken advantage of.
- 29:56Yeah. I mean, I have been confident
- 29:59defending myself. They do have some training and
- 30:04do go to the gym so I'm not weak or anything.
- 30:10Right. Yeah.
- 30:11But then after that I went back and then it came to Monday and
- 30:22went to the meter point. We went to a museum that was
- 30:30centered on the actual equator point in Ecuador.
- 30:36And we were. They were first showing us how
- 30:40the actual chocolate was made from the cacao.
- 30:44Yeah. And they actually let us try the
- 30:47actual cacao fruit and telling us from that point the process
- 30:54on how the chocolate was made. And it was all this stuff on
- 31:02other tribes from the area. Another neat one was the head
- 31:08shrinkers, the Native American tribe known as the head
- 31:13shrinkers. They were telling us about that
- 31:18and they actually had a real specimen from the actual process
- 31:26from that, that we weren't actually able to take pictures
- 31:30of it because light and stuff would actually affect our skin
- 31:35and everything. They were trying to keep it
- 31:39preserved well. But.
- 31:45A shrunken head you actually got.
- 31:46You got to see an actual human head.
- 31:48A shrunken head. Yeah.
- 31:51Wow how did they Did they say how old it was or or from how
- 31:55far back it is dated? I forget, but it's pretty old.
- 32:03Yeah. And the hair is still there, but
- 32:08it was quite intriguing to see that.
- 32:13I bet that's kind of creepy though, in a way.
- 32:18Yeah, it can be. And they're showing how the
- 32:24actual equator works with water flow and that they had a bucket
- 32:31and they would put some leaves in it and they would dump the
- 32:34water out and on the equator they would just go straight out.
- 32:40It wouldn't swirl. Right.
- 32:43Then on either side, just far enough away, each side would
- 32:48swirl the opposite way. Yeah, right.
- 32:52I've heard about that. If you go like to the to the
- 32:54Southern hemisphere, it goes the IT goes counter clockwise.
- 32:58Yeah, and they're doing that with the water.
- 33:02We were only few feet off of the equator.
- 33:06Wow. Then they had a challenge here
- 33:11to see if he could balance an egg on top of a screw head and
- 33:19if you could actually get it they would give you a
- 33:21certificate and I was wanted a couple that was able to get it.
- 33:28Yeah. Is there a trick to it or you
- 33:29just have to be at the right place?
- 33:32And it's just having minimal movement and just getting the
- 33:38yolk just kind of sit in the right spot.
- 33:43So it just balances, have a very minimal movement trying to find
- 33:49that sweet spot. Gotcha.
- 33:53So there's some skill to it. A little bit, just mainly having
- 33:58a lot of patience. OK.
- 34:01Yeah. Then they're having us kind of
- 34:04balance on the equator line anyway.
- 34:09It has the arms out and keep the head up and close your eyes.
- 34:15And most people are just start tearing one side or the other
- 34:20very hard to try and walk straight on the equator.
- 34:27Yeah. But and then after that, there
- 34:31was think about a two hour drive from there to Mendu where we
- 34:38were staying at. And we actually had to stop on
- 34:44the way as we had luggage on top of the van that we were all in.
- 34:51But it started raining. So we had to get everything
- 34:54inside because he didn't have a turf at the time.
- 35:00Wow. And it's not very heavy rainfall
- 35:05there. It's very light, so it's almost
- 35:11consistent. So you're getting rain almost
- 35:14throughout the day and just I see periods where we had a
- 35:18break. Yeah.
- 35:21But yeah, so we got the place that we were staying at and we
- 35:27were designed to different places where we were staying and
- 35:32even there was kind of more community.
- 35:36There wasn't no actual rooms or anything.
- 35:39It was not just an open concept thing.
- 35:47And the rest of that, theaters kind of integrating with
- 35:51everyone more, kind of getting comfortable and kind of just
- 35:56resting. And the next day on Tuesdays in
- 36:03the morning, when we did the Weyusa and Taipei what?
- 36:09What? What was the first thing that
- 36:10you said, Weyusa? I think what, what, what's that?
- 36:15That was also made into a tea. Not really too sure on what that
- 36:27is. And it's just another they have
- 36:33a medicine called calm the body and kind of help prepare it for
- 36:38the medicine. There's another actual ceremony
- 36:44with the where you saw and Poppy.
- 36:47So where you saw I'm just looking it up is a caffeinated
- 36:54tea from the Amazon rainforest traditionally used by the
- 36:57Quichua people of Ecuador, known for its potential to promote
- 37:02lucid dreaming and energy. Does that sound about right?
- 37:10Yeah. OK.
- 37:12I've never heard of it before. So.
- 37:15I thought that it was it had caffeine and it that's also one
- 37:22of the things that you got out put on hold for the moment is
- 37:26caffeine, alcohol and any other drugs or.
- 37:32Stimulants, right? All that you might be on, just
- 37:37get the most out of the experience.
- 37:41Yeah, I'm reading it. So for it's cultural
- 37:43significance, it says the Quichua people of Ecuador have a
- 37:46long history of using why yusa in ceremonies and rituals, often
- 37:50drinking it to promote the lucid dreaming and enhance their
- 37:53connection to the spirit world. So they used it into in in in in
- 38:00tandem or in with with the with the hot pay.
- 38:06Did you drink it before the hot pay?
- 38:09Yep, dairy did. No, it was again, no.
- 38:16Another wooden bowl that they poured it in and the jug that it
- 38:22was in was made out of clay. A lot of earth materials being
- 38:30used here too. Sure.
- 38:33But yeah, they actually had the warming up on the fire as we
- 38:38were going through the ceremony. That was part of the whole
- 38:42thing. OK.
- 38:44And each person took their turn drinking their part of it and
- 38:50then they started going on with the hoppy and and then we were
- 38:56through with that. We did a river cleanse.
- 39:02Oh. And how Nicholas was saying is
- 39:09essentially the way for Mother Earth, the hug us.
- 39:16We're actually in one of the earth elements.
- 39:21And so when we're ready, we would get into the water.
- 39:25And he almost wanted us to try and float on our backs for all
- 39:34but the water still was a little cold.
- 39:38They had to try and calm myself down and breathe and just enjoy
- 39:45it. Yeah.
- 39:49But where we are at, just a fantastic view and not really
- 39:57many people around. So you're able to kind of more
- 40:02immerse yourself in nature and. Yeah.
- 40:11So this is, this is essentially like the the first day or day 2,
- 40:15right? Like if you've already arrived,
- 40:16you've got settled in you, you kind of recovered a bit from the
- 40:20jet lag. And now the ceremonial retreat
- 40:23work is beginning with the Weyusa and the Hape.
- 40:27Yep, this is this. This is the introduction to the
- 40:29medicine part of of things, right?
- 40:32Yep, essentially how I see it start prepping the body for the
- 40:39Ayahasca and such a intentions more the actually Monday night
- 40:50we did a game actually have it actually bought one of them
- 40:59called Unleash Humanity. Oh, cool.
- 41:04There's a lot of different decks in here that have different
- 41:11questions pertaining to each almost path or whatnot.
- 41:19We got Creation, connection, heart, truth, expansion, and
- 41:25self, and so there's a dice on the inside that you would roll
- 41:32that you would get one of those. And before you roll the dice, we
- 41:38would want to try and put some of yourself into the dice to be
- 41:44able to help bring out your actual intention more than given
- 41:53a certain amount of time. There's a hourglass that comes
- 41:56with it too as we could have been there all night talking
- 42:01about stuff but we each took a turn rolling the dice.
- 42:09Then should fan out all the coins so we could choose the one
- 42:13that we wanted, read the question on it and if we needed
- 42:19some time, but then essentially answer the question and then
- 42:32move on from there. We weren't really trying to give
- 42:37advice or anything around there. There was more food sharing and
- 42:42finding what your intention might have been.
- 42:47Nice. Then going to Tuesday with the
- 42:50happy and that the horn in on it more.
- 42:56Yeah. Nah.
- 43:00This is this was your second time experiencing hot day right
- 43:03here 'cause you had had it you, you had done it once before with
- 43:05shipper at the Colorado ritual, right?
- 43:12Bushuk Sash and yeah. Yeah.
- 43:16What did you think I would really quick.
- 43:17I just want to kind of dive into that because I had my first hot
- 43:20day experience last year. What did you think of that?
- 43:27What do you think of that medicine like?
- 43:29It was very grounding for sure, right?
- 43:34I just, you know, man, like I don't know about you, but like
- 43:36my first time, like I just wanted to be in the earth.
- 43:38Like I couldn't get close enough.
- 43:41I had to lay down and just like be there, like and touch and
- 43:48feel like it was, it was, it was beautiful.
- 43:51It's it's one of the most emotional things that I think
- 43:58I've ever had in terms of like medicine, plant medicine.
- 44:02Very grounding, it can definitely bring out a lot of
- 44:05emotion and thoughts that is almost helps you think through
- 44:13some thoughts and stuff too without doing that.
- 44:18On my second one and that was it.
- 44:24Actually brought me to tears too.
- 44:27Me too. Thinking too, and it end up
- 44:34involving the dream that I was talking about.
- 44:39Well, that message that end up being part of the ceremony as
- 44:45well with that. But yeah, it was quite the
- 44:52experience with that. But I just know we're trying to
- 44:58lay down, especially on your back would be kind of hard
- 45:01because you're not supposed to close your mouth or anything.
- 45:05And you always got. Yeah, no, I was face down like I
- 45:09had a lay. I was like on my stomach laying
- 45:11down after my hot day experience.
- 45:14Like I I was sitting and then like I was just like, man, I got
- 45:17to, I got to lay down like, but lay face down.
- 45:23That's what I felt like doing and that's what was told to me.
- 45:26That was, it was, you know, they said that the, the, the man who
- 45:29served the medicine was explaining it like whatever you
- 45:33feel like you need to do, you know, let the medicine do what
- 45:38it needs to do. You, you're going to want to
- 45:40because, you know, like you were saying before, the way that the
- 45:42medicine is served is it is blown up your nasal passages.
- 45:48Now that is a very, if you've never experienced it before,
- 45:53anything like it. I mean, it can, it can it's hot,
- 45:55you know, I mean, it burns it it's uncomfortable.
- 45:58You know, your body's kind of natural reaction to it is to
- 46:04like reject it. You know, it was told us like
- 46:10don't right. Try to try not to let that
- 46:12happen. And but the emotional things
- 46:15like if you want to laugh, then laugh.
- 46:16If you want to cry, then cry. If you want to lay down, sit,
- 46:18stand, whatever. And I just, I just kind of went
- 46:21with it. It I, I, I moved and I and I
- 46:24positioned. I found myself in the positions
- 46:27that the medicine wanted me to be in.
- 46:29And at one point it was to be prone stomach, you know, chest,
- 46:33face in the earth, just touching grass, just touching the earth
- 46:37and just let her hug you and be as close to earth as you can.
- 46:44That's how I felt that my first time.
- 46:48Yeah, and I know use my hands to support my head and kind of
- 46:54going between having my legs crossed and legs out.
- 46:59But yeah, I kept noticing I just kept leaning more forward and
- 47:03just kept leaning more forward. And.
- 47:07On and I was extremely grounding and got to watch your step as
- 47:15you get up and that's right, take it a little slow.
- 47:25And they did have stuff for sale there too, like she had the
- 47:33game. They did have smaller vials of
- 47:38the poppy that you could get, and they had other vials.
- 47:49There's seven different super plants that center of mitral
- 47:58doses, and apparently they're all kind of linked back to
- 48:03ayahuasca. I had two vials when I got back
- 48:07to Chicago. The customs there confiscated
- 48:12them for me. That's not surprising.
- 48:18Yeah, unfortunately, I mean, I also haven't heard back from
- 48:22them. But I guess in a way kind of
- 48:25fortunate because I looked up the laws for Wisconsin and
- 48:29possession here there can be up to two years in prison and I
- 48:34think I could fine. Yeah, that kind of goes back to
- 48:38like what I was saying before with the sensitivity of of plant
- 48:43medicine, right. At least here in the United
- 48:45States, it's, it's most, most of the things that we talked about
- 48:52when we talked about plant medicine are on the federal
- 48:54level still, you know, not decriminalized.
- 49:00You know, local or state jurisdictions might be
- 49:04different, You know, places you go across the United States in
- 49:07the, in the various states in the country might be different.
- 49:11But at a federal level, you know, you're, you're looking at
- 49:13some pretty harsh punishment for being in possession of certain
- 49:18things. And I'm not really sure if even
- 49:24is legal in any of the states. Yeah, I don't think so.
- 49:28And all some have like mushrooms.
- 49:34Yeah, which? I was told is sort of on the
- 49:38same level, but they'll separate.
- 49:43Yeah. Yeah.
- 49:47So, yeah. So then we got the ones.
- 49:55I think it was still on Tuesday in the afternoon.
- 50:00We're doing a drum circle as we actually had a chance to buy
- 50:08some drums off a drum maker that he knows down there and I
- 50:13actually have mine just a short ways away.
- 50:18Oh, nice. So you got to bring that back as
- 50:21a, as a memento or souvenir of your, of your experience, right?
- 50:27Yep, and the connection bed wanted a necklace that I bought
- 50:32from the Taita's wife that was made from the community.
- 50:40Nice. Hopefully you all can see that
- 50:45there's a lot of nuts and stuff that they all grown together
- 50:50and. Oh wow, cool.
- 50:52Actual flowers at the end and and yeah different assortments
- 51:00and doesn't get there wasn't just that style but still went
- 51:09to help their community out and everything and.
- 51:13Yeah. Yeah, but yeah, so we did a drum
- 51:18circle. Yes.
- 51:21A lot of stuff was to create a community and get everyone
- 51:26comfortable with each other because going on the journey is
- 51:34quite an experience. And when I was told, even with
- 51:38mushrooms, you want to do it with someone that you'd trust a
- 51:43lot. That does make a big difference,
- 51:50you know, especially if you've never experienced that type of
- 51:53medicine before. You know, I can, I can, I can
- 52:00speak from experience, from, from that type of medicine that
- 52:03the mushroom medicine is you, you get better, you, you, you
- 52:11have a better experience when first of all, you're in the
- 52:14right state of mind going into it or with the right intention
- 52:18behind it. You know, not looking at it as a
- 52:22recreational party drug experience, you know, but
- 52:25looking at it as medicine, approaching it as medicine, but
- 52:31then also being in the company of others who are sharing in
- 52:37that vision or sharing in that approach.
- 52:41Because again, you're, you know, if you, if you, I, I can only
- 52:45imagine, right? You got people coming from
- 52:47different parts of the world, probably different parts of you
- 52:52know, that have never seen each other.
- 52:54You know, you had 14 people here in Ecuador that have never met
- 52:56each other once maybe at a, at the highland.
- 52:59I know you said you guys have similar interests with high
- 53:02lung, you know, but did you, did you know anybody else besides
- 53:05shipper when you went there? Like did you recognize anybody
- 53:09else and know anybody personally?
- 53:12No. So you, yeah, you've got that,
- 53:15that whole thing, like, you know, you're you're all, you
- 53:18know, going to this thing for the medicine, for the healing,
- 53:22but you're sharing in that experience together.
- 53:25So to be in that company and in that space with, for all intents
- 53:32and purposes, complete strangers, there has to be a
- 53:36sort of leading up to that moment.
- 53:39Like you can't just jump in and be like, all right, guys, we're
- 53:40going to go for a journey now. And, and then you're all like,
- 53:45you know, like, let's get to know each other.
- 53:47Let's, let's build that sense of community.
- 53:48Let's, let's, let's become familiar with one another at
- 53:50least. And it, it sounds like from what
- 53:52you're talking about, the, the, the cafe and the, the way you
- 53:55saw and, and the games, right? Like this builds that
- 53:58connection. This builds this closeness
- 54:01between people. Yeah, the drum circle.
- 54:04The drum circle, yeah. It together, there's three
- 54:10different almost like cabins that we were sleeping in, but
- 54:14there was a few of us actually sleeping together in the same
- 54:21area. Yeah, it's a sacred place when
- 54:27we're doing the ceremony. And yeah, there's helps having
- 54:35some connection to the people around you.
- 54:39Sure. You can during the ceremony, you
- 54:44can actually kind of connect with someone else doing it and
- 54:51because we're actually told to try and concentrate on ourselves
- 54:56and not with the other people, even though we were so close
- 55:01together. Yeah, right.
- 55:04Because you're all there for your own experiences, I'm sure,
- 55:08right? You went there for yourself for
- 55:12the reasons that you wanted to be there from being invited.
- 55:15So is everybody else. And at the same time, now you're
- 55:19also there together, in a common area, in a shared space.
- 55:26Yeah, yeah, we're all there for our own reason, but and also
- 55:32creating community to also be able to help each other out when
- 55:37we're able. Yeah, everyone was quite
- 55:42welcoming there and. Oh, that's good.
- 55:45Checking up on each other and just talking and finding out
- 55:50about everyone's backgrounds and everything.
- 55:53And yeah, but yeah, we had people from Sweden, Australia.
- 56:02All over the world. Wow.
- 56:03Area. That's amazing.
- 56:06Few people from the States and one of the guys apparently was
- 56:14actually at the highlong ritual in Milwaukee and there was only
- 56:20a couple people down from where I was at.
- 56:25Wow. But I mean, we didn't really
- 56:28connect until down there and then, yeah, she should.
- 56:33Then it was it was intriguing and not find something like that
- 56:41out. Yeah, yeah, I guess come to find
- 56:44out. Yeah.
- 56:44Wow, we were 50 feet apart X amount of years ago and now here
- 56:48we are in a totally, you know, we're we're thousands of miles
- 56:50away from where we live and we're in the same room.
- 56:53That's that's what I like to call weird.
- 56:56But like WYRD, you know, like the dramatic or Norse weird how,
- 56:59how things are woven into people's threads.
- 57:02Like who, what, how weird is that?
- 57:03You know that you guys were so close at one point and now so
- 57:07far apart, but then so and then even closer experiencing this,
- 57:11this ceremony, this, this, this retreat for medicine and for
- 57:15healing together. That's wild.
- 57:19So you, you, you're now getting into like the, you know, you,
- 57:22you've, you've built this community with the drumming it
- 57:26at at what point does the ayahuasca become integrated into
- 57:30things? No, that would have been on
- 57:38Wednesday and Thursday. Maybe the ayahuasca on Wednesday
- 57:47in the morning, we did another group connection thing.
- 57:58We actually had some homework to draw up, some stuff that you're
- 58:05told to think about and draw up. And there's a whole interaction
- 58:12thing between that and all this stuff.
- 58:16And again, they kind of integrate more into each other
- 58:23and kind of just realize the energy around us and everything
- 58:30and how a lot of that stuff can work.
- 58:37And we also, some of us were, I think it might have been all of
- 58:42us, but we were pulled aside by the medicine woman kind of talk
- 58:47about some of the stuff that she noticed about everyone, which
- 58:55was kind of weird too. Is then she only spoke French.
- 59:01So everything she said, Nicholas had to interpret.
- 59:08So like for me, I couldn't really personally talk to her,
- 59:16but we had that talk. She was explaining stuff that I
- 59:24knew about myself to be true and that that she saw through the
- 59:28flames because we had plenty of fire going.
- 59:34That was almost the heart of the community.
- 59:38And there was kept going the whole time until it would have
- 59:46been Saturday morning when they put it out because we were
- 59:51through the ceremony and everything.
- 59:53And but what she saw through the fire and was telling me about
- 1:00:02just tell you a lot about what some people have for gifts and
- 1:00:08so that they can. See, with people without
- 1:00:12actually talking to them and knowing anything about them.
- 1:00:17And that's when I told her about the one dream that I had when I
- 1:00:22was very young. And because I can talk about
- 1:00:32that point now, right? Essentially came across the
- 1:00:38riverbank and on the other side down the ways away, there was
- 1:00:45two people that I could see they're just sitting on the edge
- 1:00:52too far away to hear if they were saying anything that but
- 1:00:57the point to where I was at looked like I was able to jump
- 1:01:01over it to be able to go over to them.
- 1:01:06But as I start running and getting ready to jump over it
- 1:01:12just as I jumped it, it's almost like a wide end and there was no
- 1:01:18way I would be able to jump to the other side and falling
- 1:01:22straight down. And it wasn't actual flowing
- 1:01:29water, it was like an ice. But when I hit the surface, I
- 1:01:35got sucked into a tube and it was so tight, like I was wasn't
- 1:01:42able to move or anything. And my arms are on my side and I
- 1:01:47looked to my side and I think I saw like someone else in there
- 1:01:51as well. But I was essentially stuck in
- 1:01:56this tube. And then that's when I woke up
- 1:02:02and I was telling someone else to, and it was almost like
- 1:02:08that's when I lost a part of myself.
- 1:02:12Then one of the other people that I told that to was telling
- 1:02:16me that that that might actually be the part of myself that I
- 1:02:21needed to love. And I was telling about all the
- 1:02:31stuff too, between my father and other stuff.
- 1:02:34And yeah, that was kind of his take on it, that it wasn't.
- 1:02:42I wasn't seeking a part of myself that I lost, more the
- 1:02:48part of myself that I needed to love.
- 1:02:52And that was essentially a question that I got from the
- 1:02:58game too, is that I knew there was people that loved me and all
- 1:03:07that, but for some reason I just couldn't accept the love from
- 1:03:12other people. And that was essentially became
- 1:03:20my intention for the medicine. And so there's a lot of resting
- 1:03:32going on with this retreat too, really doing a whole lot of
- 1:03:39stuff. It was a lot of rusting,
- 1:03:42integrating. Yeah, well, I.
- 1:03:48I would suspect so. I mean, with, with such deep
- 1:03:50work being required or being done, you know, like it's
- 1:03:55taxing, it's draining, you know, takes a lot out of you.
- 1:03:59Yeah, especially with the ceremony, because it's done at
- 1:04:03night. You're going through the night
- 1:04:05into the morning. Nah.
- 1:04:09When we wake back up, we have a community breakfast.
- 1:04:20We got other ingredients like the eggs, the bread and jam and
- 1:04:25but it's all in the middle and we're all just grabbing stuff
- 1:04:29and actually making the food there and grabbing you want to
- 1:04:33eat and passing stuff to other people and all that.
- 1:04:38Just being very involved. Yeah.
- 1:04:45Yeah, so Wednesday was the first night.
- 1:04:55That night wasn't too eventful for me.
- 1:05:00It was I was almost, I was trying to see in the wrong way.
- 1:05:04I was almost trying to keep my eyes open for it and trying to
- 1:05:11stay sitting up. There's some of the stuff that I
- 1:05:16heard, but the medicine was actually still trying to get me
- 1:05:23to close my eyes, and the few times that I did, I was stalled
- 1:05:31seeing some stuff. First time it was black, then I
- 1:05:40was seeing like a whole bunch of eyes, which we actually turned
- 1:05:45into a whole bunch of bugs and stuff, which back to a different
- 1:05:52dream that I had. It was essentially stuck inside
- 1:05:55of a tree, surrounded by bugs and everything, just crawling
- 1:06:02all over and everything. Wow, I.
- 1:06:06Came to from that, went into another one, again saw a bunch
- 1:06:11of eyes, but then this time there was a whole bunch of
- 1:06:14wolves and eventually turned into one wolf that I saw sort of
- 1:06:21right next to me where I was. Then woke up from that.
- 1:06:30Wow. Then Taita and Alex would do a
- 1:06:36essentially a cleansing and they actually involved with actual
- 1:06:47almost Native American tobacco. It was, you know, cigarette
- 1:06:52form, but I don't think it even had a filter on it.
- 1:07:00But they're using that. They're pulling that on you.
- 1:07:07They had some leaves that they're using and music and
- 1:07:13sound and all that. And the moment I think it was
- 1:07:21Alex by me, but when he touched me, I could feel the warmth and
- 1:07:27love and just the community and everything from them.
- 1:07:34When he was just touching me in the different spots, there
- 1:07:39wasn't a spot. And there was just an amazing
- 1:07:44experience with just that itself.
- 1:07:49And I actually did an bridge on that night either.
- 1:07:58And we're actually not allowed any protein before the ceremony
- 1:08:08as well. The last meal would have been
- 1:08:12just between fruit and vegetable stuff.
- 1:08:16Oh wow. OK, So no animal products, no
- 1:08:20protein and things like that, Just just plant?
- 1:08:24Food. Yep, the last meal before the
- 1:08:28ceremony. Yeah, but then they'll also
- 1:08:34offer a second cup to the people that would want to want to need
- 1:08:42a second one. It's up to your choice though.
- 1:08:49A second. Cup of the of the Ayahuasca,
- 1:08:51right? Ayahuasca.
- 1:08:55Yeah, and the second one they'll actually bring to you because
- 1:09:00you're quite unstable while under the medicine.
- 1:09:07I see. Beth did.
- 1:09:10You go for the second cup that night, or just the one.
- 1:09:15No, not on that night. I was just sort of riding.
- 1:09:21Riding it out, kind of feel for it.
- 1:09:26Then you know it get to the point where you're essentially
- 1:09:32allowed to sleep for a while and sometimes you're still under the
- 1:09:40medicine when you go to sleep and you might still receive
- 1:09:44stuff while you're going to sleep.
- 1:09:47But there is a peak to it, yeah. So that we'll get up in the
- 1:09:56morning and kind of clean up, have the breakfast, then head
- 1:10:02back down to the main camp. This is a separate location,
- 1:10:09little ways away. It's only walk within walking
- 1:10:13distance, but it's more isolated then since you had the rest of
- 1:10:22the day to kind of relax and recover and get some more sleep
- 1:10:27if you wanted to and then went back to it that night.
- 1:10:33But I didn't have a lot better experience on the second round.
- 1:10:41You did. Yep, I even called on my patron
- 1:10:48God Thor and Odin kind of help give me the strength and
- 1:10:54knowledge help guide me through this experience.
- 1:10:59And that was actually placed closer to the Taita.
- 1:11:06That was the first time I was it was actually the furthest one
- 1:11:12away from the Taita and being one of the guy who was brought
- 1:11:19to the closest spot from the Taita and all them but.
- 1:11:30And this is done. This is on Thursday, right?
- 1:11:32This is the second night. Yep, the second night on
- 1:11:34Thursday and they don't have a concept of time when you're up
- 1:11:43to either because you don't have your phone to look at.
- 1:11:46Yeah. I'm not sure how long it took
- 1:11:51for it to actually kick in, but when it did I couldn't feel my
- 1:12:04body or lens at all. It's like I went to a different
- 1:12:09dimension that could. I saw a lot of objects and
- 1:12:18colors and stuff, but same thing if I'm on weed and that it was,
- 1:12:27I was like, I'm going through a tunnel.
- 1:12:31I was like I'm being transported or something.
- 1:12:36But I was going on this very intriguing journey and when I
- 1:12:49still had my senses in that, because there was raining during
- 1:12:55that, but it was like cutting in and out.
- 1:13:02It was very weird. It was cutting up and out.
- 1:13:07Between that, the music that they were playing and one of the
- 1:13:16ladies there she was actually singing.
- 1:13:21Then she would sing for a little bit, then laugh.
- 1:13:27Was this another member or attendee of the retreat?
- 1:13:33Yes, it was. So it was a Coed.
- 1:13:35It was a Coed experience. Yeah.
- 1:13:38Gotcha. OK, so this person was feeling
- 1:13:41the need to or the OR the medicine was working through her
- 1:13:43to sing or something I guess is what you're saying?
- 1:13:47Yeah. And not really sure she knew
- 1:13:51that she was doing it, but it happens.
- 1:13:56Everyone has their own experience on it.
- 1:13:59Yeah, but yeah. And you were just there like the
- 1:14:04hearing it while you're going through.
- 1:14:06You're going through and then you hear this.
- 1:14:09Yeah. Wow, making me want to laugh.
- 1:14:12And eventually a lot of people was laughing around all that and
- 1:14:19yeah, as just going through a journey almost through another
- 1:14:26realm or through multiple realms and eventually came to the point
- 1:14:39where I was at that river essentially.
- 1:14:46And I was game like I actually had help from Thor.
- 1:14:53I was actually able to smash through the river available, get
- 1:14:59to my part that was in there and be able to actually then hug
- 1:15:05myself and give it the law that I was actually searching for.
- 1:15:14And I had this urge then the fellow freedom from the the one
- 1:15:23movie, the Braveheart. Oh yeah, freedom.
- 1:15:31I know not doing it though because I didn't want to disturb
- 1:15:35everyone there, but I had a very big wanting to do that after
- 1:15:45that but. Wow.
- 1:15:49Yeah, I would do that. And just still going on the
- 1:15:55journey through the realms and I got to the point where I was
- 1:16:02almost at a raid because I was starting to hear the song
- 1:16:08Satisfaction by Benny Benazi. Yeah.
- 1:16:13You're familiar with that song? Yeah.
- 1:16:18But I was thank you playing that in my mind at one point.
- 1:16:27And also think about life and death and our view of death.
- 1:16:37So I'm also pretty big with the movie Avatar and the Nahi
- 1:16:42people. And the way they talk about is
- 1:16:48the the century of soul and energy and that we're all part
- 1:16:57of Mother Earth. But in there, it's a law, and
- 1:17:04they talk about how AWA holds their children and loves them
- 1:17:08deeply, that all energy is only borrowed and one day has to be
- 1:17:17returned back to AWA. And I also started thinking that
- 1:17:26that's essentially a process that returned this energy so
- 1:17:31that new life is able to be born into the world.
- 1:17:39And it's actually. Recycling the, the cyclical
- 1:17:44aspect of it is, yeah, it's. And the more the honor their
- 1:17:50life and tell stories and honor them.
- 1:17:56And I just almost give thanks that at that point that we have
- 1:18:03new people coming into life to be to be able to experience
- 1:18:08life. And I mean, dad still sad to
- 1:18:15lose a loved one and that, but to be able to tell stories and
- 1:18:22honor to life. This means that you're a big
- 1:18:27part of the life and you'll be able to hold on to that and.
- 1:18:33Yeah. Honor them that way, which I
- 1:18:38have my ways to honor people that I have lost, which I
- 1:18:46actually saw some of them through that too, being my
- 1:18:49cousin and my grandpa, you know, being the most recent one that
- 1:18:56passed away then. So the thing about my father is
- 1:19:06I don't speak to him or anything.
- 1:19:09He essentially disowned all of his kids and essentially pushed
- 1:19:15us away and he wants to get back into a life, but he wants us to
- 1:19:26admit that we were in the wrong on everything that happened.
- 1:19:32We have a law. Have them talk to us again.
- 1:19:36Wow. But there was some chippers talk
- 1:19:45about too at some point. But I essentially felt the need
- 1:19:50to permanently cut the bond to him and sent him on his own
- 1:19:58journey to heal and stuff if he ever goes on it.
- 1:20:06And I can't say you will, but. It's his journey, right?
- 1:20:11It's, it's, it's everybody else. It's, you know, everybody has to
- 1:20:15go on their own journey. Yeah, but I cut the bond
- 1:20:19completely and sent him on his journey.
- 1:20:25But I was just hopefully in this lifetime when he was able to
- 1:20:36fully heal and everything to be able to reconnect and start
- 1:20:42having a connection and bond again.
- 1:20:48But it was essentially cutting those bonds at or just extremely
- 1:20:56toxic to you, even if they're family and blood to you.
- 1:21:04Man, that is, that's such a critical thing, you know, to,
- 1:21:11to, to embrace. And it's tough.
- 1:21:13It's like the hardest thing. It's the hardest thing, I think
- 1:21:17for a lot of us, for anybody really to, to, to embrace or
- 1:21:23accept the fact that sometimes you just got to sever ties,
- 1:21:30right? Sometimes the healing process
- 1:21:32means that you need to let go. And why do we hold on to things
- 1:21:38for so long? You're right.
- 1:21:40I, I think maybe that's because of this feeling of
- 1:21:43comfortability. It's familiar, even if it hurts
- 1:21:47us, it's familiar to us. And so we therefore, because
- 1:21:51it's familiar, there's a degree of comfortability that we want
- 1:21:56to hold onto because it's, it's easy.
- 1:21:58It's, it's again, it's, it's familiar.
- 1:22:00We're comfortable. And even if it's painful, yeah.
- 1:22:06And we hold on to that. And, and, and the the toughest
- 1:22:09thing is, is to to realize that that's not doing us any good.
- 1:22:15Yeah, and the other one is the forgive someone that my first
- 1:22:23happy experience actually forgave my uncle and cousin
- 1:22:34because they sexually molested me when I was a kid.
- 1:22:39I'm sorry and and I don't talk about it much.
- 1:22:47I'll actually be making a very old talking about all that for
- 1:22:52the community that I was the part of that I just have this
- 1:22:58calling the do that and feel it would help fill in some stuff
- 1:23:04around me because I'm not extremely talkative or anything
- 1:23:10to begin with. I'm more of an observer, but at
- 1:23:15the end they, they could see the change in me and it was awesome.
- 1:23:22But yeah, it was just a, it's all a bad part of life at a very
- 1:23:31young age and had to grow up very quick.
- 1:23:36And there's a lot of other stuff that happened as I was growing
- 1:23:43up and what not, but there's a whole another discussion to talk
- 1:23:49about that. Yeah, Nah, man, you know, but I
- 1:23:51think that the the experience for you from the sounds of it,
- 1:23:55and thank you for by the way, just let me just say like you,
- 1:23:58you've shared so much and you've been so talkative and you've
- 1:24:00given so much. You've painted such a beautiful
- 1:24:03picture about this, this experience in Ecuador.
- 1:24:06And I, I have to say, as a listener, as an observer myself,
- 1:24:11hearing your story, it sounds like the, the, the journey to
- 1:24:17healing for you like this was there were there, there there
- 1:24:22wasn't anything else that could have replaced this experience.
- 1:24:25You couldn't have done this any other way.
- 1:24:28No. Yeah, no, you know, that's,
- 1:24:35that's amazing. I mean, it's, it's, it's, it's
- 1:24:37wild, man. Like, thank you so much for for
- 1:24:41talking about it and, and and sharing all this with us.
- 1:24:44I appreciate it. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:48So then after that I also did Navi greeting all negati Camille
- 1:25:00fingers to the head. The Navi for I see you like, not
- 1:25:08just in person, like the energy soul and everything.
- 1:25:14Yeah. And there was a couple of times
- 1:25:19I actually had to come back to my physical body because it was
- 1:25:24I was warm at 1st and then I got a little cold, but haphazardly
- 1:25:30trying to pull my sleeping bag on me to stay warm.
- 1:25:35And it was just interesting because if they got it on just
- 1:25:41my arm went limp again. And then I had a mosquito bite
- 1:25:46me on my forehead and brought a hand up to slap it and then
- 1:25:52almost took it as a sign to almost focus on the mind and the
- 1:25:58that the mind chakra. At that point I had to keep my
- 1:26:03head on my head for a little while.
- 1:26:10Then there was a lot of a lot more laughs and everything.
- 1:26:17And then I, Ranchi came back too, and I just saw the ceiling
- 1:26:24a little bit and I started feeling how connected everyone
- 1:26:30knew was. Duh.
- 1:26:32Everyone else at that moment then eventually sat up.
- 1:26:41It took a moment and I think it might have been Nicholas that
- 1:26:48started playing one of his instruments.
- 1:26:53I just kind of enjoying all that and took a drink of water and
- 1:27:00up, closing my eyes again for that.
- 1:27:04Then I just went to another dimension again because it just
- 1:27:11felt like I was drinking from Mother Nature's source of water.
- 1:27:18That was, yeah. Then felt like I was drinking it
- 1:27:20from my water bottle and I was like coming from a source.
- 1:27:28Then I was just sitting there, just.
- 1:27:32I was like, at that moment I was getting blessed from being
- 1:27:36rebirthed at that point, singing and everything.
- 1:27:43Then once that part was over, 9 up, having to get up to use the
- 1:27:50bathroom. And that in itself took a moment
- 1:27:56because you're just all over the place.
- 1:28:01You don't have much balance or anything and there are people
- 1:28:05there. If you do need help, they'll
- 1:28:08help you get to where you need to and whatnot.
- 1:28:12They do have a toilet up there at you.
- 1:28:16They had to use that you can. There was a designated spot for
- 1:28:23puking if you were for purging or for the guys that they just
- 1:28:28had to take a piss right But got over there I.
- 1:28:37Think. One of the guys is trying to
- 1:28:39make trying to find out who it was and then so it was me and
- 1:28:45asked if I was OK and I was. I just had to use the bathroom
- 1:28:51at that point. But on the way there I saw the
- 1:28:56fire and it's it's still dark out.
- 1:29:01That just really caught my attention walking past and while
- 1:29:09I was using the bathroom that drifted off again.
- 1:29:16It was almost like all the negativity and everything was
- 1:29:21just leaving my body as I was taking a whiz what not.
- 1:29:27And that actually made the Taita.
- 1:29:32And they'll laugh a little bit, but I told them about that.
- 1:29:38Then I went back and stood by the fire for a while, and at
- 1:29:44first there was like the warm heartbeat of Mother Earth there.
- 1:29:52Then when I was looking into it more, no, it looked like there
- 1:29:59was the depths of hell from which I was almost like climbing
- 1:30:06out of because the way that the word and everything was
- 1:30:12possession and how everything looked in that moment.
- 1:30:16It was like the pits of hell and the the rocks and everything to
- 1:30:21claim out and to get you know. And after a little bit there is
- 1:30:29something on the top side that caught fire and was an actual
- 1:30:34flame. And at first I thought it was
- 1:30:40again my old self just kind of burning away the usher and the
- 1:30:47rebirth. And after I saw that is when the
- 1:30:55medicine was done and I actually went to go purge at that point
- 1:31:05and came back and said by a fire for a while.
- 1:31:10And at that point I was just sending love and healing to
- 1:31:15everyone else still on the journey and that if people are
- 1:31:20still aware and whatnot. But because of giving out hugs
- 1:31:24and that and it was later when I was thinking about that fire
- 1:31:31that started kind of more like the Highland song Eldon Sir and
- 1:31:39being purified through Fire you. Know, yeah.
- 1:31:45There was kind of central like that, that I was being purified
- 1:31:49through the fire. Then I was all back to my spot.
- 1:31:56It was the necklace that we got and if you wanted all this stuff
- 1:32:02blessed by Taita, that was given to him beforehand.
- 1:32:07And it was at that point that he was starting to bless all the
- 1:32:11necklaces and everything and kind of wanted Devil in present
- 1:32:14for that. So he he did that and the people
- 1:32:22that they felt needed to be cleansed again, they bought them
- 1:32:27up and went through all that. And we were allowed to go back
- 1:32:33to sleep with what we wanted to do with the rest of the time.
- 1:32:41Yeah, just kind of started again in the morning.
- 1:32:45We got off kind of cleaned up, had the breakfast and with that
- 1:32:52one Taita and Alex stayed and had everyone briefly talk
- 1:33:02through their experience and everything and would give their
- 1:33:10wisdom and thoughts around what might have happened or so that
- 1:33:16they can do in that. Then very packed up everything
- 1:33:27and went back down to main area again and didn't really have
- 1:33:35much else to do for us tonight. We were just allowed to rest and
- 1:33:38everything. And then, yeah, Friday we're
- 1:33:47doing some more integration stuff for the final things and
- 1:33:54whatnot. And Friday night we actually had
- 1:34:01some chicha, the type of fermented drink that was
- 1:34:06alcoholic and started off with one of those jugs again, the
- 1:34:14clay jugs that was full of it. It was 2 separate ones that he
- 1:34:21had. One was kind of typical stuff
- 1:34:25and the other one that he brought out later was a little
- 1:34:30better tasting. 1, but I don't know how much could fit into
- 1:34:37that jugger. We had that and a whole 5 gallon
- 1:34:41water jug like one one of those Big Blue ones from the water
- 1:34:47fountain. Right.
- 1:34:50One of those was falling. We had that one down a couple
- 1:34:57inches from the bottom and granted we had to add more water
- 1:35:02to it and I think we finished off the other one and I know I
- 1:35:12was feeling it and we were playing songs and singing and
- 1:35:21that was more the entertainment I was doing.
- 1:35:25What I like to do and dancing and that and kind of just got
- 1:35:32really opened up and. Yeah.
- 1:35:37That's. Great man, that sounds like such
- 1:35:39a wholesome experience from the beginning of arriving,
- 1:35:44grounding, setting your intention, getting in the
- 1:35:47headspace, really connecting with one spirit and and the the
- 1:35:55purpose of this retreat and then being served the medicine,
- 1:36:01receiving the things that the medicine has to give, each in
- 1:36:05your own ways. And then like you said, that
- 1:36:08integration right in that sort of decompression, coming back
- 1:36:13from it all and sharing in that communal celebration, you know,
- 1:36:17a little light heartedness, dancing, music, libations.
- 1:36:24It sounds like a wonderful, wonderful experience.
- 1:36:29It was quite amazing to have been there.
- 1:36:34And he actually plans to open up two more weeks on that.
- 1:36:43One wouldn't have medicine with it.
- 1:36:47It would be more getting integrated and everything kind
- 1:36:52as being a community for the week and the other one would
- 1:36:58actually be deeper into the forest and more century feral is
- 1:37:11we we were had we actually had and at the very least was
- 1:37:16plastic on the windows. But at this place it's only
- 1:37:21mosquito Nets, very basic and you would have to have a lot
- 1:37:30more mobility because there'll be a lot walking and stuff
- 1:37:34involved and. All right, now I have a question
- 1:37:38real quick about what it, what it, what was it like for you to,
- 1:37:46you know, come back to where you live, right?
- 1:37:51Return back to the United States and continue on in your
- 1:37:58day-to-day stuff. Right after having Journey to
- 1:38:03another Country, shared in the cultural experience, the
- 1:38:08traditional medicine of another culture, and being given this
- 1:38:11gift, they've given this blessing, given this experience,
- 1:38:15What was it like for you to take all of that back home and how
- 1:38:20has that experience helped you going forward since you got
- 1:38:27back? No, it was kind of hard to right
- 1:38:32back in my normal day-to-day life, especially coming from
- 1:38:38where it was warm back to the cold.
- 1:38:41Right. Yeah.
- 1:38:44But yes, it is kind of hard to say no partially rounded food.
- 1:39:01Before each time we ate, we would actually sit there and
- 1:39:08thank the people and the process of everything of where the food
- 1:39:13actually came from and to give that thanks to them for work
- 1:39:19fields and everything because they don't use machinery or
- 1:39:23anything. And they're even on deep
- 1:39:26mountains. What not planting the produce
- 1:39:33and all that. So you just have the things in
- 1:39:38mind and every time we eat and after you try and know like even
- 1:39:47now where your food and everything comes from, even the
- 1:39:54marijuana and other stuff like the Co found tribe, it actually
- 1:40:03protects the the plants and that and very.
- 1:40:12Protective on who goes into the area and everything too and just
- 1:40:21very well the earth centered. Just trying to keep it as pure
- 1:40:28as possible. I guess I was curious, you know,
- 1:40:34like in, in the sense of, you know, you, you, you go to
- 1:40:36Ecuador and, and you experience all of this really amazing, you
- 1:40:41know, medicine, the, the, the, the community, the, the, the
- 1:40:45drum, like all of the things and that they, it's all medicine.
- 1:40:48Like it. We, we could say that the plant
- 1:40:49medicine is the medicine, but then the community is medicine.
- 1:40:52The music is medicine. The right, all of it is, is
- 1:40:55medicine for different parts of the self, different parts of the
- 1:40:58soul of spirit, what have you, whatever you want to label it.
- 1:41:02And I was just curious because it sounds like these are things
- 1:41:05that can go with you, the lessons, the, the, the medicine
- 1:41:09that you receive in Ecuador doesn't stay in Ecuador there.
- 1:41:12It goes with you, right? And it goes with the people
- 1:41:15wherever they go. So it was, it was more of a
- 1:41:18question of like, you know, how did the experience, how did the
- 1:41:20healing that you experience there?
- 1:41:23How did you carry that with you? And how has that gone with you
- 1:41:26up to this point? Because this was back in
- 1:41:28February where you know, when this airs, it'll be in April.
- 1:41:34Over the last several months, you know, how has the healing,
- 1:41:39the medicine, all of that that you received, how has that gone
- 1:41:43with you? How has that helped you?
- 1:41:45If you can say I. Suppose that I went down there
- 1:41:52is being able to accept the love and it was being closer to the
- 1:41:58people that actually matter more to me and not really so much
- 1:42:06given the time of energy to people that don't really deserve
- 1:42:10it. And just having a distract and
- 1:42:17gratitude for what I have and just day-to-day life and just
- 1:42:29continuing with the healing and staying within that community.
- 1:42:35We I'm still talking to the people that I met there.
- 1:42:41Yeah. And I'm actually going to see
- 1:42:45some of them again at the Hilong ritual in Sweden.
- 1:42:51I'll actually be going to that one in August.
- 1:42:54That's fantastic. You'll have to come back on the
- 1:42:57show when you come back from that and tell us about it if you
- 1:43:01want. Yes, that'll be interesting
- 1:43:04itself cause some of my people from my tribe will be there,
- 1:43:08some from the community. There's going to be a week after
- 1:43:13my birthday. Oh wow, awesome.
- 1:43:16I also have heritage from Sweden.
- 1:43:22I'm actually descending from King Olaf.
- 1:43:25Yeah, yeah. That's awesome.
- 1:43:29That's pretty wild that you can trace your ancestry back there.
- 1:43:31That's that's, that's really cool, man.
- 1:43:33My aunt was able to, she did a lot of that work, but we come
- 1:43:38from a lot of kings and Queens, so all of our stuff was well
- 1:43:45written down and preserved and she was able to go extremely way
- 1:43:51back. Wow.
- 1:43:54This was like around 500 AD or less.
- 1:44:01There's a chance to that descended from Ragnar and Rolo
- 1:44:08as well. I do a little more digging into
- 1:44:13that aspect, but and I'm in Wisconsin right now and my early
- 1:44:25ancestors were part of the first settlers of Wisconsin.
- 1:44:30Yeah. Wild stuff, man.
- 1:44:34Very cool. I really appreciate you coming
- 1:44:37on here and telling us all about this.
- 1:44:41You know, if anything, hearing other people's story, you know
- 1:44:47we all have a story to tell. For sure.
- 1:44:51Not a lot of people get a chance to tell it, you know what I
- 1:44:53mean? There's a lot of people that
- 1:44:55have really amazing things to share with their experiences and
- 1:45:01it's OK to not share, you know, it's, it's perfectly fine to
- 1:45:04keep things close to the heart and close, you know, out of the
- 1:45:08public eye or whatever. But I, I, I want to commend you
- 1:45:11for first of all, reaching out and asking to come on the show
- 1:45:14to talk about these things because it does.
- 1:45:16I think it gives the listeners and the viewers a perspective
- 1:45:22of, you know, what's out there and, and you know, we're all
- 1:45:27people, We're all, we're all individuals.
- 1:45:29We're all going through our own things.
- 1:45:31But just like with you going to Ecuador and, you know, being
- 1:45:35introduced to people from all corners of the globe, all areas
- 1:45:39of the world, you're, you're also going through something
- 1:45:44together. So we are all in a way, you
- 1:45:49know, there's this intertwining aspect of things.
- 1:45:51And when we come on a podcast, we come on a, a platform and we
- 1:45:54talk about things like this, people that listen and watch get
- 1:45:56a chance to feel a connection in a way and realize, Hey, I'm
- 1:46:01going through something and what Beaver said or what Jesse said
- 1:46:03or what whoever said is so relative to what I'm going
- 1:46:07through, like they can relate to it.
- 1:46:09So I, I, I want to commend you and thank you again for coming
- 1:46:12on here and talking because I really think that it'll help,
- 1:46:15you know, shed a light on people's experiences and, and
- 1:46:20give them a sense of feeling like they belong to something
- 1:46:23that is bigger than themselves and not feel alone with it all.
- 1:46:27At least that's what I hope, You know, I, I hope for things like
- 1:46:29this to, to contribute in that sort of way.
- 1:46:32Yeah, contribute, expand does not everyone has people to talk
- 1:46:38to that actually understand or even interested in listening to
- 1:46:46what they might be going through or anything like that.
- 1:46:53Yeah, you're not alone. I just, I haven't found people
- 1:46:58that I can relate with and talk to and share stuff like this.
- 1:47:10That's, that's, that's great, man.
- 1:47:11I'm happy that you have that and and that you've been able to
- 1:47:13find your people to connect with and to share with these sort of
- 1:47:17things because we all need that. You know, everybody there's, I
- 1:47:20talked to plenty of people who are, who are, who feel so like
- 1:47:25isolated, you know, and solitary because they they choose to be
- 1:47:29solitary or they choose to, you know, whatever the whatever
- 1:47:33their life is or whatever, however it you know, kind of a
- 1:47:38is, is molded in their, in their, in their framework of
- 1:47:41things is, is isolated. It's, it's solitary.
- 1:47:44And so they look, they're like, well, who can I talk to?
- 1:47:48How can I talk to when I'm like, it's a choice.
- 1:47:50You got to you got to put yourself out there.
- 1:47:52You've got to talk to people, you've got to find, you know,
- 1:47:55find a way or make a way it you know, there's, there's work
- 1:48:01involved with it. And sometimes that work is, is
- 1:48:04going to show you things that are tough to learn, but that's
- 1:48:10part of it. That's part of the process.
- 1:48:13That's part of healing. It's.
- 1:48:15Part of healing, right? And, you know, it's trusting the
- 1:48:18process Is, is, is is tough, you know, especially when it hurts
- 1:48:23and especially when it's tough. But yeah.
- 1:48:27It was when I started a job that I'm at now, actually met a guy
- 1:48:34there that he actually had a Kindred that I'm actually a part
- 1:48:40of now. And he's the yowl of the kindred
- 1:48:47and it's called the Iron Wolves. We're actually a sub kindred,
- 1:48:54the Wolves of the North. And the Chieftain is actually
- 1:48:59down in Florida right now. He had to go down there for
- 1:49:02work, but he's actually made me his Thane of the Iron Wolves I
- 1:49:14was. And we're always looking for
- 1:49:17more people to join us too. And they have people from all
- 1:49:23over, part of Wolves of the North.
- 1:49:28But main spot that we usually meet up as in Waterford, WI, OK.
- 1:49:36But some of the other events is that by y'all's horse, which is
- 1:49:43in Greenfield over by Milwaukee. OK.
- 1:49:48But yeah, I get to work with the oral and his brother works there
- 1:49:55now too and he's the Co founder of that kindred.
- 1:50:03And we actually created a great heathen alliance with some other
- 1:50:08kindreds. There's one that's all by
- 1:50:13Madison, Sale, Alva or Seven Rivers, one's in Indiana and
- 1:50:22threat with the other wanted 2 or but.
- 1:50:28That's good. And I'm glad to hear that
- 1:50:29there's people doing things to kind of confederate or a lot,
- 1:50:32you know, I mean, like build this larger group, you know,
- 1:50:34connection, a network, as it were.
- 1:50:41And so there's that one listening around this area,
- 1:50:46Whatnot is actually wanting to Kindred to join Whatnot.
- 1:50:52They now know of 1 and we're quite opening.
- 1:50:55We're got several different views.
- 1:51:03We actually have a Christian in our Kindred.
- 1:51:10Imagine that. Yeah.
- 1:51:14But and he's got different views than the normal Christian if you
- 1:51:20would see understands where we come from as well and alls views
- 1:51:27that there is the one true being and everyone sees that in a
- 1:51:33different way. Yeah, I get that.
- 1:51:40Well, yeah, if you have anything that you want to send me, you
- 1:51:43know, you got my e-mail. So if there's any like, you
- 1:51:45know, social media or website, you know, information that I can
- 1:51:49share for the listeners of this show when it airs, you know,
- 1:51:53people check your, you know, podcast show notes or
- 1:51:57description, area of the video, whatever.
- 1:51:58However, you're catching this, if there's anything that Beaver
- 1:52:02here has to, to share with, you know, that area, Wisconsin
- 1:52:09things that are going on, you know, man, check, send it, send
- 1:52:13it to me and I'll and I'll add it here to the to the podcast
- 1:52:15show notes the way people can connect and and find places,
- 1:52:20because I'm sure this will reach to to to that area too, or
- 1:52:24they'll know people in those areas and they'll point in that
- 1:52:27direction. So be happy to network that way.
- 1:52:34But I do want to thank you, Beaver.
- 1:52:36I'm going to wrap things up here tonight.
- 1:52:38Just hang on for a second while I kind of sign people off here.
- 1:52:42Did you? Did you get a chance to say
- 1:52:44everything about your experience that you had hoped to share on
- 1:52:48this show? Yeah.
- 1:52:51Yeah, I do feel like it was a lot, man.
- 1:52:53And it was great to sit here and just listen to you retell it and
- 1:52:57revisit it. So thank you again very much for
- 1:53:00for that. Thank you for the opportunity.
- 1:53:04Yeah, absolutely. And I, yeah, I said, like I said
- 1:53:07before, we'll have to have you back again after your, your trip
- 1:53:10to Sweden, seeing Highland later this year.
- 1:53:13So keep in touch with me and we'll, we'll, we'll plan
- 1:53:16something when you come back. That's going to be their last
- 1:53:22ritual too, and. I know it's a bitter sweet sort
- 1:53:25of thing, hearing about it, right?
- 1:53:26Like they deserve the break. They deserve the rest.
- 1:53:28They need to, you know, regroup and recuperate and I and I feel
- 1:53:33that everyone that gets a chance to see them at that is is
- 1:53:36blessed and fortunate to to be able to you included so.
- 1:53:42Yeah, Kai's got recharge. There's energy and connection.
- 1:53:48The Mother Earth and that too. Yeah.
- 1:53:52Travelling so much? Yeah, they've been hitting it.
- 1:53:55They've been hitting it hard for for many years now.
- 1:53:57So they deserve that break. Yeah, there's also a practicing
- 1:54:01shaman for a second is due stupid it's actually recharged
- 1:54:09for. Sure.
- 1:54:11Yeah. Well, we love that and we
- 1:54:14respect that so. For sure.
- 1:54:17Look forward to, to seeing more from them and after, after the
- 1:54:20right time. So thank you again, Beaver, for
- 1:54:24coming on the show. Look forward to having you back
- 1:54:26and, and, and appreciate all that you're sharing.
- 1:54:29So for everybody that's listened to this and watch this, hope you
- 1:54:31enjoyed it. It was a bit of a long one.
- 1:54:32And we did have some technical bits that, as you saw at the
- 1:54:36beginning of the show, we had a kind of reshift, but we found a
- 1:54:38way. We, we, we, we made it something
- 1:54:40that is not traditional to the show.
- 1:54:42It doesn't have the same feel from like the visual, you know,
- 1:54:46or even audio experience probably is going to be a little
- 1:54:48bit different. However, you made it this far
- 1:54:51and you've listened or watched this whole thing and we
- 1:54:53appreciate that. We, we, we figure things out as
- 1:54:56we go. That's that's life.
- 1:54:59So lessons learned and and we move forward.
- 1:55:01So thank you again for being here.
- 1:55:03Thank you all for listening to the show and watching for all
- 1:55:07the ways that you can support the Midgard Musings production
- 1:55:10of the Random Heathen Ramblings podcast.

- 1:55:37And we'll see you in the next one.
