- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York Mark Simon on the Voice of New
- 0:04Speaker 1: York seven ten.
- 0:05Speaker 2: W o R.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 0:10Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. Is the number. Eight hundred three
- 0:14Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten. Let's go to Liz in
- 0:17Speaker 1: White Plains. Liz, how you doing.
- 0:20Speaker 3: I'm doing well, Mark, Thanks for taking my call. I
- 0:23Speaker 3: just wanted to comment on the indoctrination issue.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Yes, it starts.
- 0:26Speaker 3: It starts way before college. Really, my kids all went
- 0:30Speaker 3: to Catholic school, so I didn't see it. But now
- 0:32Speaker 3: my grandchildren in a public school in a pretty wealthy community,
- 0:36Speaker 3: and it starts there for sure.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Which community, well, large one, large Mont. They're in doctrinating
- 0:42Speaker 1: people in Larchmont Public School.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Well, I see things that I you know, like holiday
- 0:47Speaker 3: concerts don't include anything to do with any kind of
- 0:49Speaker 3: religious at Christmas or.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Things like that.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's been going on for a while.
- 0:54Speaker 3: All right, good these events occasionally I'm like.
- 0:58Speaker 1: All right, Liz, thanks for calling. That happened during the pandemic,
- 1:01Speaker 1: you know, where they would do online classes and for
- 1:04Speaker 1: the first time ever, the parents would stand behind the kid.
- 1:08Speaker 1: The parents could actually watch what the teacher was teaching
- 1:10Speaker 1: and many of them were horrified at some of the
- 1:13Speaker 1: crap they were teaching and some of the partisan stuff
- 1:15Speaker 1: they were passing along. Let's go to Barbara and Yonkers. Barbara,
- 1:19Speaker 1: how you doing good?
- 1:21Speaker 4: How are you?
- 1:21Speaker 1: Mark?
- 1:22Speaker 4: I'm a big fan. Oh thanks, so dis the point
- 1:26Speaker 4: of interest in Maderna I heard is developing a new
- 1:29Speaker 4: mRNA haunt of IRUs. See, it's kind of interesting. People
- 1:33Speaker 4: are talking about it, so I just put it out there.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Oh. Oh, Maderna is a very good company. I don't
- 1:39Speaker 1: know about that Pizer, but Maderna is a very good company.
- 1:43Speaker 1: So I mean, I'm sure remember a lot of times
- 1:45Speaker 1: they're developing this, but it's not for the US. It's
- 1:47Speaker 1: for other areas of the country, so that could be true.
- 1:51Speaker 4: That's true.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Yeah, well, thanks for calling you. Apparently it's going to
- 1:54Speaker 1: be transmitted by certain types of rats, and we don't
- 1:57Speaker 1: have those type of rats, but in South American country
- 2:00Speaker 1: they have those rats. So sometimes somebody like madern is
- 2:03Speaker 1: gonna they'll come up with the vaccine, but it's for
- 2:07Speaker 1: other countries. Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how
- 2:09Speaker 1: you doing good.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Morning, Martin. Yes, Mike, you're speaking earlier about Eurovision, and
- 2:16Speaker 2: for me, the only thing people need to know about
- 2:18Speaker 2: Eurovision other than Aba winning. At one point was that
- 2:21Speaker 2: in the late fifties Valari finished third.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Valari, which became a big hit. So yeah, but you
- 2:28Speaker 1: could finish third Eurovision and that's enough to kick off
- 2:30Speaker 1: a career.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Because well, that's the point that was. What's one of
- 2:33Speaker 2: the greatest songs ever in my book?
- 2:35Speaker 1: I mean, wait a minute, wait a minute, it's a.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Great and was it, Dominico Maduno.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I prefer the Dean Martin version, but okay, but I
- 2:46Speaker 1: love that versi. It's a catchy fifties song, but it's
- 2:49Speaker 1: not one of the greatest songs ever written.
- 2:53Speaker 2: How many times have you played it on the air
- 2:55Speaker 2: over the years, and by whom I.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Would always play the Dean Martin version much better catchy.
- 3:00Speaker 1: He put it together to us at Medley an evening
- 3:03Speaker 1: in Roma Valari, it's a it's not one of that.
- 3:06Speaker 2: It's funny. It's funny. You should mention Dean Martin. I
- 3:08Speaker 2: just watched the video last night from his show Lee
- 3:11Speaker 2: J Cobb Jackie Buddy, and yeah, it's hilarious, hilarious.
- 3:19Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling, Yeah, buddy, Ebsen. Remember Uncle
- 3:22Speaker 1: Jed the Beverly Hill Billies. He just knows Uncle Jed
- 3:26Speaker 1: and he was actually one of the great dancers of
- 3:28Speaker 1: the twentieth centuries, a phenomenal dancer. And if you go
- 3:32Speaker 1: online just type Buddy Epsen you'll see on the Dean
- 3:34Speaker 1: Martin Show, the shows he was an incredible dancer. Let's
- 3:38Speaker 1: go to doctor Bob in Long Island. Doctor Bob, how
- 3:40Speaker 1: you doing.
- 3:42Speaker 5: I'm good, Mark, Thanks, I hope you will welcome. Concerned
- 3:46Speaker 5: about Bruce blake and also I sure Michael's feeling that
- 3:49Speaker 5: he's gotta get a little more Zetts in his his campaign.
- 3:54Speaker 5: I'm going to be seeing him in a golf outing
- 3:57Speaker 5: later this month, and I'm looking forward to him again
- 4:00Speaker 5: and speaking to him because there's a lot of protests
- 4:03Speaker 5: going on in Manhattan. I got a friend of mine
- 4:05Speaker 5: that just moved to the city with his wife. They're
- 4:07Speaker 5: right across from Hunter College. During their protests, nearly every
- 4:11Speaker 5: night in the streets, and Bruce has got to get
- 4:14Speaker 5: out there and start shaking things up. He's really got
- 4:17Speaker 5: to get it well.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I can tell you one thing. Bruce Blakeman campaigns every
- 4:20Speaker 1: day all day. He's always on the campaign now, we
- 4:23Speaker 1: don't see much of it because it's an upstate New York.
- 4:25Speaker 1: He's touring the state, criss crossing the state constantly. He's
- 4:28Speaker 1: always you follow his social media's Instagram and Twitter and
- 4:31Speaker 1: all that. He's constantly putting out stuff every every couple hours.
- 4:35Speaker 1: He's just constant. But it's not on the coverage. You
- 4:38Speaker 1: should But are you a big social media guy?
- 4:43Speaker 5: No, not at all.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Oh well, see this might be the problem. That's where
- 4:47Speaker 1: the campaign takes place now, so you got to you
- 4:49Speaker 1: gotta go on Instagram.
- 4:51Speaker 5: I think he's he's got to get a little bit
- 4:53Speaker 5: fire in the belly.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Nobody has more fire in the belly than him.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Okay, all right, I'll take your work.
- 5:01Speaker 1: All right, thanks for calling. You know, that's part of
- 5:03Speaker 1: the problem. Now, there's a bunch of people over a
- 5:06Speaker 1: certain age who are still reading the newspaper, they're watching
- 5:09Speaker 1: the six o'clock news. They don't realize that's a tiny, tiny,
- 5:13Speaker 1: tiny little thing nowadays, that's a little tiny sliver of
- 5:17Speaker 1: the population. You got to be all over social if
- 5:21Speaker 1: you're huge on Instagram, if you're huge online, that's much
- 5:25Speaker 1: more important. But blikeman is very very good on all
- 5:29Speaker 1: that stuff, and when it comes to anything, you know,
- 5:32Speaker 1: radio is still very strong. Radio has one hundred and
- 5:34Speaker 1: fifty nine million people listening every day. One hundred and
- 5:38Speaker 1: fifty nine million listen to radio newspapers twenty two million,
- 5:44Speaker 1: that's it, twenty two million, network television twenty five million.
- 5:48Speaker 1: It's much smaller nowadays. Let's go to Peter in New Jersey. Peter,
- 5:52Speaker 1: how you doing.
- 5:54Speaker 6: I'm good, Mark, Thanks for taking the call.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Mark.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Here's a concern I have the Muslim Madia ideology people.
- 6:07Speaker 6: Their plan is to destroy this country from within. Yeah,
- 6:11Speaker 6: within one hundred years, that's their plan. My question is
- 6:14Speaker 6: what's our plan? What is our government doing about all
- 6:18Speaker 6: of this?
- 6:18Speaker 1: See, well, it's a very good question, as our government
- 6:21Speaker 1: always does in every major issue. The plan is to
- 6:24Speaker 1: do nothing. Uh, you're right. The Muslim of its Muslim.
- 6:29Speaker 1: But whatever it is, there is a plan to just
- 6:32Speaker 1: undo the country from within. And they've partnered up with
- 6:35Speaker 1: the Democratic Party because the elders of the party, the leaders,
- 6:39Speaker 1: the schumers, the pelosis, those types are just frightened and
- 6:43Speaker 1: terrified and are going along with it instead of cleaning
- 6:45Speaker 1: house in their own party. Hey, when we come back,
- 6:48Speaker 1: we'll talk to Emma Joe Morris as a great journalist,
- 6:51Speaker 1: a great columnists. You know, she's the one that started
- 6:55Speaker 1: the Hunter Biden laptop story. She's the one that began
- 7:00Speaker 1: She's the one that got a hold of the laptop.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I mean, she's done a million other things too, and
- 7:04Speaker 1: it's great on all sorts of politics and stuff. But
- 7:09Speaker 1: we'll talk to about all of that coming up next
- 7:12Speaker 1: on seven to ten wor
