- 0:39Speaker 1: Let us all WELLI Wednesday, We thank you for being
- 0:42Speaker 1: with us. We have slapped together a show for you
- 0:46Speaker 1: this afternoon. Casey Concepcion. We are going to hear from
- 0:51Speaker 1: the AGGI receiver and punt returner. Scott Clindenon is here.
- 0:57Speaker 1: We have a Mallory segment in the second hour as well,
- 1:03Speaker 1: and we'll let you know what's going on the rest
- 1:06Speaker 1: of the week and perhaps into next week. The Texas
- 1:13Speaker 1: Rangers are trailing Arizona two to nothing, and let me
- 1:17Speaker 1: see if I can update that real quick. Let me uh,
- 1:23Speaker 1: let me do that because we may we may have
- 1:27Speaker 1: updated now. I don't want NFL stuff. I don't want
- 1:31Speaker 1: any NFL stuff. Leave me alone with that. Let's see
- 1:38Speaker 1: if we can get scores here, scores scores Rangers. I mean,
- 1:43Speaker 1: of course they don't. They don't give the We have
- 1:48Speaker 1: to get to see all because apparently Rangers Diamondbacks are
- 1:51Speaker 1: out important bottom of the fifth inning to nothing, Arizona
- 1:55Speaker 1: is leading. The reason that's important is the Rangers are
- 1:58Speaker 1: within a game and a half of the wild Card
- 2:00Speaker 1: three and a half of the Astros. Jack lighters on
- 2:05Speaker 1: the mound for Texas this afternoon. Last night, we got
- 2:09Speaker 1: a glimpse into what the heck is going on with
- 2:12Speaker 1: the Astros. They lose to the Yankees seven to one.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Framber Valdez, who is always run hot, gave up a
- 2:20Speaker 1: Grand Slam home run to Trent Grisham. He didn't like
- 2:25Speaker 1: apparently the pitch that was called, and so on the
- 2:30Speaker 1: next pitch he threw a different pitch than Salazar was
- 2:37Speaker 1: expecting and hit him right in the chest. What happened,
- 2:44Speaker 1: is says Valdez, we just got crossed up. We went
- 2:50Speaker 1: down to the dugout. I excuse myself, I said, I'm sorry.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I take full responsibility, Valdez said, no, it was not intentional.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It obviously was the Astros locker room blowing up, and
- 3:08Speaker 1: we'll see if they can make it limping into the
- 3:12Speaker 1: end of the season. They host the Yankees again this evening.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We'll have that game at I think, do you know
- 3:22Speaker 1: Matt is that game on its six forty Astros Baseball
- 3:26Speaker 1: and the New York Yankees. George Jason Alexander is pitching
- 3:32Speaker 1: for Houston or do we have a special show tonight? Okay,
- 3:36Speaker 1: Astros beautiful, you people enjoy it. The Red Sox put
- 3:42Speaker 1: Ricky Sensation Roman Anthony on the injured list with oblique tightness.
- 3:49Speaker 1: He's one of our best offensive players, said Cora. We
- 3:53Speaker 1: have to move on. We've been through this before. The
- 3:57Speaker 1: Earl Campbell, Tyler Rose Nash. Player of the Week is
- 4:02Speaker 1: Georgia Tech quarterback Haines King. King rushed for one hundred
- 4:08Speaker 1: and fifty six yards on nineteen carries, which was a
- 4:11Speaker 1: new career high, including three touchdown runs. He also tried
- 4:18Speaker 1: to pass. Bless his heart, Haines King, of course, the
- 4:21Speaker 1: former Aggie quarterback out of Longview, and Haines King is
- 4:29Speaker 1: the reason people are giving Georgia Tech a shot this year.
- 4:34Speaker 1: They beat Colorado in the opener last week. Texas Tech
- 4:38Speaker 1: and Arkansas have signed a three game football agreement, beginning
- 4:45Speaker 1: with a game at Allegiance Stadium in Las Vegas in
- 4:51Speaker 1: twenty thirty. Allegiance Stadium will host BYU Oregon State in
- 4:56Speaker 1: twenty twenty eight, is what's being called the Las Vegas Kickoff.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Tech in Arkansas, of course, used to meet in the
- 5:05Speaker 1: good old Southwest Conference. They will also play home and
- 5:08Speaker 1: homes in Vietnam and Lubbock. Let's see what else is
- 5:15Speaker 1: going on. Oh, by the way, Miami and Utah will
- 5:20Speaker 1: be played in the Vegas Classic in twenty twenty seven.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yukon men's basketball coach Dan Hurley considered stepping down last
- 5:33Speaker 1: year because of the emotional toll of trying to win
- 5:36Speaker 1: three straight championships. Hurley has a new book out and
- 5:44Speaker 1: was in quote preliminary talks with Fox Sports. I've thought
- 5:49Speaker 1: about leaving, he said, taking a gap year resigning as
- 5:53Speaker 1: head coach of the Huskies. I lost control emotionally at
- 5:58Speaker 1: various points. Have come in here someday sad and defeated.
- 6:04Speaker 1: Then I went through his self lacerating what ifs. He decided,
- 6:10Speaker 1: of course, to stay. John Calipari was in his old
- 6:14Speaker 1: stomping grounds in Memphis today no Yesterday to introduce hoops
- 6:23Speaker 1: for Saint Jude an exhibition game that will plea be
- 6:28Speaker 1: played next month between Memphis and Arkansas. An athlete at
- 6:36Speaker 1: the University of Kentucky was arrested for hiding a dead
- 6:41Speaker 1: infant in her closet. The Lexington Police Department says the
- 6:46Speaker 1: baby was wrapped in a towel and placed inside a
- 6:50Speaker 1: trash bag. Twenty one year old Laken Snelling was arrested
- 6:55Speaker 1: Sunday charged with abusing a corpse, tampering with evidence, and
- 6:59Speaker 1: can sealing the birth of an infant. She has posted
- 7:03Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars bond and remains on house arrest
- 7:08Speaker 1: with an ankle mallet monitor. Felix Augier Alisimi has won
- 7:16Speaker 1: the quarterfinal matchup at the US Open, beating Alex Dai
- 7:21Speaker 1: Monor in four sets. Yannik Center will play tonight. Going
- 7:26Speaker 1: on right now, a Nisimova is leading swaya Tech five
- 7:31Speaker 1: to four in the opening set of that women's match. Okay,
- 7:38Speaker 1: all right, that'll take care of that. Let me remind
- 7:42Speaker 1: you that tomorrow because I had to be gone yesterday.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I had to reschedule Ranger Doug. But tomorrow afternoon. I
- 7:49Speaker 1: am so excited to visit with Ranger Doug, lead singer,
- 7:54Speaker 1: head honcho of Riders in the Sky. They will be
- 7:58Speaker 1: here next Windayday and Thursday at MSc Opus And if
- 8:04Speaker 1: you're paying attention, you may get some tickets to go
- 8:07Speaker 1: see Ranger Doug and Writers in the Sky. I will
- 8:13Speaker 1: be there on the original night that they scheduled, Thursday night.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It was so popular they had to add a second
- 8:20Speaker 1: night and tickets. A few tickets are still available for
- 8:25Speaker 1: that Wednesday night performance a week from tonight, all right.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Coming up some Aggie football interviews. Scott Clindennon is here,
- 8:35Speaker 1: Mallory is here. Also tomorrow we'll have a high school
- 8:39Speaker 1: report and on Friday, Will and Ryan will be in.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I will visit with Kirk Bowles Friday and also Tony
- 8:49Speaker 1: Catalina of the Austin American Statesman for our Aggie football
- 8:54Speaker 1: preview that is on Friday.
- 8:57Speaker 3: All right.
- 8:58Speaker 1: The Final Lap is brought to you by and Co Insurance.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Inco Insurance is now a part of Hub International, bringing
- 9:06Speaker 4: you more choices, better value and even greater expertise. While
- 9:09Speaker 4: our name has changed, we're still the same local team
- 9:12Speaker 4: you know and trust now with even more to offer
- 9:14Speaker 4: from business insurance to personal protection and employee benefits. We're
- 9:18Speaker 4: still committed to protecting what matters most with the personalized
- 9:21Speaker 4: service you expect now with the strength of Hub International
- 9:24Speaker 4: behind us, more resources, more solutions, still your team and
- 9:28Speaker 4: co Insurance a Hub International company, So you're ready for tomorrow.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Darlington Race winner Chase Risco was on and he talks
- 9:36Speaker 5: about the expectations driving for Jill Gibbs Racing.
- 9:40Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean the expectation was to go and you know,
- 9:44Speaker 6: contend for wins and you know, hopefully that for a championship.
- 9:47Speaker 6: You know, I would say it definitely was harder than
- 9:50Speaker 6: I anticipated. The first called ten weeks and I think
- 9:56Speaker 6: to just change, I say, JGR was off right, but
- 9:59Speaker 6: Belle was able to go win three in a row there,
- 10:01Speaker 6: and I think I was learning so much about ourselves
- 10:05Speaker 6: and I was learning the race cars and just how
- 10:07Speaker 6: different they drove that it definitely took a little more
- 10:10Speaker 6: time than I expected. But you know, I felt like
- 10:13Speaker 6: tonight is definitely what we're capable of, you know, kind
- 10:15Speaker 6: of week in and week out, if we just do
- 10:17Speaker 6: our job and perform, I mean, the cars are just
- 10:19Speaker 6: so good and then you know, the execution was there,
- 10:23Speaker 6: and just if we do that, typically we're in the
- 10:25Speaker 6: mix to win, you know, not necessarily dominated like we
- 10:28Speaker 6: did tonight, but you know, typically if we just do
- 10:30Speaker 6: our jobs right, then we at least should be in
- 10:33Speaker 6: the mix. And you know, at that point you have
- 10:35Speaker 6: to capitalize on it. You know, that's something that we
- 10:36Speaker 6: were at a pretty big deficit at and to add
- 10:39Speaker 6: seven that's a huge deal, you know, going forward. So yeah,
- 10:42Speaker 6: I was way more excited about that than probably locking
- 10:45Speaker 6: into the round of twelve. Yeah, it's definitely nice for
- 10:48Speaker 6: us to start a playoffs off, you know, in the
- 10:50Speaker 6: way that we did it, you know, and not just winning,
- 10:53Speaker 6: but I felt like we dominated and that's really cool
- 10:56Speaker 6: to do. So yeah, it definitely is a great way
- 10:58Speaker 6: for us to start, and hopefully we can describe this
- 11:00Speaker 6: This is the final app.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Moms and dads, do you wish you could know where

- 12:02Speaker 1: Was a food welcome back. Thanks for being with us
- 12:05Speaker 1: here on a Wednesday edition. My thanks to Jared and Jason.
- 12:11Speaker 1: We had a show yesterday, right Matt, Yeah, we're on
- 12:14Speaker 1: the air. Beautiful. The commercials got played wonderful. Okay, then again,
- 12:22Speaker 1: truly my thanks to Jared and Jason for filling in yesterday.
- 12:30Speaker 1: This was yesterday as well. While I was out, k
- 12:33Speaker 1: C Concepcion visited with some of the members of the media.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Of course, he had a nice game last Saturday at Kyle,
- 12:46Speaker 1: including a long punt return in the win over UTSA.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna look while I'm listening to this to see
- 13:00Speaker 1: what the ticket prices are for Saturday. I've not gone
- 13:03Speaker 1: online and checked the secondary market. The Utah State game,
- 13:07Speaker 1: by the way, is eleven forty five, and you know,
- 13:11Speaker 1: I don't know. I've been full before. We will see
- 13:14Speaker 1: what the prices are for that game. By the way,
- 13:19Speaker 1: as I'm looking, I believe we do not have any
- 13:23Speaker 1: Thursday or Friday SEC games this week. They are all
- 13:27Speaker 1: on Saturday, including starting at eleven am San Jose, San
- 13:35Speaker 1: Jose State at Texas, the two point thirty game Austin
- 13:41Speaker 1: p at Georgia, Ole miss at Kentucky. This game, I
- 13:48Speaker 1: think is going to be a dandy Kansas at Missouri.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I think you circle that game. Those teams, those states,
- 13:56Speaker 1: the people in those states hate each other. It goes
- 14:01Speaker 1: back to the Civil War and they haven't made up
- 14:04Speaker 1: since and they haven't played. Unfortunately, that was one of
- 14:08Speaker 1: the casualties with the Big twelve sec. They have begun
- 14:14Speaker 1: to play in basketball again, which is awesome. These teams
- 14:19Speaker 1: have played let me let me get this right, eleven,
- 14:24Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty times. Okay, they have not played
- 14:28Speaker 1: since twenty eleven. It's a lot like the A and
- 14:32Speaker 1: M Texas game. Right, they have not played since twenty eleven.
- 14:36Speaker 1: They are playing Saturday afternoon at Columbia. That game is
- 14:42Speaker 1: on the deuce. That's a game I'm going to watch.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Kansas is playing really well. Missouri's is light favorite, so
- 14:52Speaker 1: that there's that game. We know Oklahoma and Michigan are playing.
- 15:00Speaker 1: But I believe Arizona State Mississippi State, Yeah, I don't.
- 15:06Speaker 1: I don't think so. Vanderbilt Virginia Tech. Uh, I believe
- 15:13Speaker 1: Tech is a slight favorite in that game. Okay. I
- 15:17Speaker 1: like what I saw from Virginia Tech this last week
- 15:22Speaker 1: against South Carolina. I think they're pretty decent. So there
- 15:29Speaker 1: there are a couple of games to watch this weekend. Okay,
- 15:35Speaker 1: let's hear from Casey Concepcion.
- 15:40Speaker 8: Honestly, the crowd was crazy. Definitely definitely up on that
- 15:44Speaker 8: partment turn. Like whenever whenever I'm out on the field,
- 15:48Speaker 8: like I can like I can usually like tune out
- 15:50Speaker 8: the crowd and like and like not really hear nothing.
- 15:52Speaker 8: But when I had when I have broke, I was
- 15:56Speaker 8: just I was hearing the whole crowd. I'm just like, dang,
- 15:59Speaker 8: like I've never seen it like this, But I would
- 16:02Speaker 8: say that, I would say my my performance.
- 16:05Speaker 3: In the game. I kind of wanted it.
- 16:07Speaker 8: I kind of wanted to do a little bit more,
- 16:10Speaker 8: but you know, I'm a save it for these SEC
- 16:13Speaker 8: games and give you guys to show the most.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Definitely walk us through.
- 16:17Speaker 9: The hunt return What is she to see when the
- 16:19Speaker 9: ball was in the air and you know it was gone?
- 16:21Speaker 8: So you know we've been UH me and Trooper Taylor
- 16:24Speaker 8: and the uh re uh and the and the returners,
- 16:27Speaker 8: We've been we've been working on this literally the whole summer.
- 16:32Speaker 8: So I had I had saw that he had kind
- 16:35Speaker 8: of out kicked his coverage and I and I had
- 16:38Speaker 8: to come up on line. So whenever whenever I had
- 16:42Speaker 8: caught the ball, I had saw a a h a
- 16:46Speaker 8: open scene and Trooper he already tells me to get
- 16:49Speaker 8: vertical and then the rest of you. So I had
- 16:53Speaker 8: I had saw the little gap, I got vertical, and
- 16:56Speaker 8: then I had peaked outside.
- 16:58Speaker 3: I saw that. I saw that. I saw that it
- 17:00Speaker 3: wasn't nobody out there.
- 17:00Speaker 8: I was a little tired though, but you know, but
- 17:02Speaker 8: you know, I just I stepped my foot of the
- 17:04Speaker 8: ground and then the rest is history. Yes, yes, man, Man,
- 17:12Speaker 8: I think that made so much for that block, man.
- 17:13Speaker 3: For for for all those blocks.
- 17:15Speaker 8: But I mean, like the the the effort that that
- 17:21Speaker 8: he showed on that play was just truly amazing.
- 17:24Speaker 3: You know, I can't think of enough of that, man,
- 17:26Speaker 3: cac Just what was the only turn game they experienced
- 17:28Speaker 3: like before you like you know, from the.
- 17:30Speaker 8: Pre games even like running out to Power and like, yeah,
- 17:33Speaker 8: I mean, as I said, man, it was amazing, man.
- 17:36Speaker 8: From the from from the pregame meal, the night well
- 17:41Speaker 8: the night before the the the meals that we had
- 17:45Speaker 8: was amazing, the movie we watched like the day before
- 17:50Speaker 8: the gaming For me, like I was never I was
- 17:53Speaker 8: never really used to any of that. And then and
- 17:56Speaker 8: then uh just just waking up hopping on that bus,
- 17:59Speaker 8: hopping off the bus, seeing seeing seeing uh everybody about
- 18:03Speaker 8: there and then finally able to get inside that stadium.
- 18:08Speaker 8: It was just a blessing man just to be here,
- 18:10Speaker 8: be around the agonation twelve man and and just and
- 18:14Speaker 8: just able to perform for you guys.
- 18:17Speaker 10: Obviously everybody was just wild by all the big plays, right,
- 18:21Speaker 10: but one of the things that things stood up stood
- 18:23Speaker 10: out was all the receivers down field block. Yeah, why
- 18:27Speaker 10: is that such an apparently such an emphasis.
- 18:31Speaker 8: I mean, this was just this was just something that
- 18:36Speaker 8: that that uh.
- 18:38Speaker 3: That uh I was taught as a kid. If you
- 18:40Speaker 3: don't block, you don't get the ball.
- 18:42Speaker 8: So so so you know, Ashton Busy rio me, you
- 18:47Speaker 8: feel me. We all we all want to see each
- 18:50Speaker 8: other win.
- 18:51Speaker 3: You feel me.
- 18:51Speaker 8: So so if so, if we can go out there
- 18:55Speaker 8: and put our line or our our body up on
- 18:59Speaker 8: the line for are our brothers to get us out
- 19:01Speaker 8: of the endzone, we gonna do whatever we can to
- 19:04Speaker 8: to get one of our brothers out of the end zone.
- 19:05Speaker 3: And that goes for the running backs hoso gets to
- 19:07Speaker 3: that end.
- 19:08Speaker 11: Do you how much d how much time you'll have
- 19:10Speaker 11: dedicated to practice spending on you know, blocking as receivers
- 19:13Speaker 11: your bubble games.
- 19:14Speaker 8: We usually start we usually start Indie with like uh,
- 19:19Speaker 8: blocking drills, you know, leveraging a run.
- 19:22Speaker 3: You feel me.
- 19:25Speaker 8: Keeping our leverage, driving our feet, keeping our hands inside.
- 19:29Speaker 3: So so yeah, they've taken away.
- 19:32Speaker 11: A lot of kind of you know, cut blocking and
- 19:34Speaker 11: stuff receivers to how how much of it is based
- 19:37Speaker 11: on pure strength in these in these days with lup walking.
- 19:40Speaker 8: I mean, I mean honestly, I honestly blocking blocking is
- 19:45Speaker 8: just effort really, so I mean you just like you
- 19:48Speaker 8: just going out there and wanting to block for your
- 19:52Speaker 8: brother and wanting to see your brother gets out of.
- 19:54Speaker 3: The end zone.
- 19:55Speaker 8: So I f so I feel like that's that's something
- 19:58Speaker 8: that is like that is like very that is like
- 20:00Speaker 8: very very different here you feel.
- 20:01Speaker 12: Me, we we want.
- 20:04Speaker 8: To help our brother get in it. We want to help
- 20:06Speaker 8: our brothers gets on the end zone. We want to
- 20:07Speaker 8: help our brothers succeed.
- 20:09Speaker 13: So I return that.
- 20:12Speaker 9: You typically kind of know, okay, like I have a.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Chance here.
- 20:18Speaker 8: Honestly, at like as soon as I as soon as
- 20:22Speaker 8: I got through the little gap, I.
- 20:24Speaker 3: I knew it was over with.
- 20:26Speaker 8: As as especially with ej Ah and all my guys
- 20:31Speaker 8: turning up field and and find a block, I knew
- 20:34Speaker 8: it was over with.
- 20:34Speaker 3: So k you see.
- 20:35Speaker 11: Uh, just how good do you think you guys could
- 20:37Speaker 11: be a special.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Team this year?
- 20:39Speaker 8: Honestly, I feel like we we can be the We
- 20:43Speaker 8: can be the number one return unit this year.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Put return, kick, return, anything, you name it. You feel me.
- 20:49Speaker 3: We just we just all wanna.
- 20:52Speaker 8: Win here, so so I mean, whatever we gotta do
- 20:54Speaker 8: to win, who we gonna do that?
- 20:56Speaker 10: Who's the fastest receiver on this restaurant?
- 20:59Speaker 8: Acting Ashton betha Roman? Yeah he probably he probably run
- 21:03Speaker 8: like a twenty twenty three for sure. Yeah, Gunner.
- 21:06Speaker 10: And do you and Mario have any kind of competition
- 21:09Speaker 10: with me?
- 21:10Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 21:10Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah nah h See you know, man, like I
- 21:16Speaker 8: said before, man, we all want to see each other.
- 21:18Speaker 3: When you for me for me, you for me. If
- 21:21Speaker 3: I get a touchdown, I.
- 21:22Speaker 8: Wanna see Rio ash though and bussing you for me
- 21:26Speaker 8: we get to touch down you for me.
- 21:27Speaker 3: It's not it's not really competition for me.
- 21:29Speaker 8: But uh but I mean we like we like little
- 21:32Speaker 8: like jokes like here and there you feel me, but
- 21:33Speaker 8: like yeah, it's just like really all of us just
- 21:37Speaker 8: just wanting to see all of us gets at the
- 21:38Speaker 8: end zone and just have fun about there.
- 21:41Speaker 9: You and Mario this off season and then, so to
- 21:43Speaker 9: have that performance start up both for you and we
- 21:45Speaker 9: won our specials after you.
- 21:46Speaker 3: That very very specially for me. See you know, uh we.
- 21:51Speaker 8: Told each other actually well well like we tell each other,
- 21:56Speaker 8: you for me. Uh we form me uh all the
- 21:58Speaker 8: time for me. We gotta we gotta keep going. We
- 22:00Speaker 8: gotta keep stacking aging for me.
- 22:03Speaker 3: You for me.
- 22:04Speaker 8: Last week is over you for me, So say for me.
- 22:07Speaker 8: We can't w who We can't keep dwelling and talking
- 22:11Speaker 8: about last week. We got a focus on this week
- 22:13Speaker 8: and the performance that we we're gonna put out there
- 22:15Speaker 8: for you guys this week.
- 22:16Speaker 14: So seems like you spend a lot of time during
- 22:18Speaker 14: the off season childing up a good connection with Marcel.
- 22:21Speaker 9: How do you feel like that paid off?
- 22:23Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 22:23Speaker 8: Man, yeah man, coming in in uh January. You know,
- 22:27Speaker 8: Marcel Rio Ashton bussy you for me, all of us,
- 22:34Speaker 8: all of us gots you for me. We just uh
- 22:35Speaker 8: we just got together taught you for me. I can
- 22:39Speaker 8: have I have the guys come over to my place
- 22:41Speaker 8: to to to to eat all the time. I I uh,
- 22:45Speaker 8: I uh cook all the time. We just sit there
- 22:47Speaker 8: watch film.
- 22:48Speaker 3: So what are you hear of them? Really?
- 22:51Speaker 8: So yesterday I made salmon, yams, mac and cheese rice.
- 22:56Speaker 8: The other day I made massed potatoes, baked beans, broccoli
- 23:01Speaker 8: with uh with uh chicken breasts. So yeah, so yeah,
- 23:05Speaker 8: I cook all the time. So uh how I want
- 23:10Speaker 8: to come you for me? I just I just I
- 23:12Speaker 8: just takes I just takes out a group chat if
- 23:15Speaker 8: any guys hungry, you would come you guys, if me
- 23:17Speaker 8: can come over.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:18Speaker 8: So I actually grew up watching my mother cook. I
- 23:23Speaker 8: just I just used to sit there and watch the
- 23:26Speaker 8: cook and also my father for me when I was
- 23:29Speaker 8: a little bit younger. Younger though, but yeah, grew up
- 23:32Speaker 8: watching my mother cook. I used to go inside and
- 23:34Speaker 8: help her. You for me, I used to see the
- 23:36Speaker 8: little seasons that you're using. And I don't install all
- 23:39Speaker 8: the recipes now, so uh yeah, Well, my favorite thing
- 23:45Speaker 8: to make is yams and mac and cheese, and then
- 23:47Speaker 8: I mixed them in a little bit that were there
- 23:48Speaker 8: the best combo in the nation.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I promise you it's.
- 23:51Speaker 10: The best, even better than you.
- 23:52Speaker 9: And uh, Mario, maybe maybe maybe.
- 23:55Speaker 1: That's all you got time for to day.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Thanks guys.
- 23:57Speaker 1: All right, you guys, I like that case. It's conceptio
- 24:01Speaker 1: and he's a chef. I love that cooking for his
- 24:04Speaker 1: teammates and it sounds good. You know, it's that time
- 24:09Speaker 1: of day. Kind of makes you hungry when he's when
- 24:11Speaker 1: he's talking about it. But that's pretty cool. So he's
- 24:16Speaker 1: using a little of that in I OW money to
- 24:20Speaker 1: feed his teammates, buy some food, cook, cook a little bit.
- 24:24Speaker 1: That's awesome. Scott Clandenen will be with us. I'm watching
- 24:31Speaker 1: US Open, I think quarterfinals. Yeah, uh Anisimova is won
- 24:38Speaker 1: the first set six to four over Swaatek, but she
- 24:41Speaker 1: is trailing to love in the second set in the
- 24:44Speaker 1: best of three on its Center is on court tonight.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I don't think anybody expects him to lose. One of
- 24:53Speaker 1: the semi finals is going to be Carlos Alcarez and
- 24:56Speaker 1: the Joker. Djokovic needed four sets last night to take
- 25:02Speaker 1: down Taylor Fritz. Taylor Fritz is now in ten or
- 25:08Speaker 1: ozero and eleven against Djokovic lifetime. But you know what
- 25:14Speaker 1: a lot of people are the I don't think Djokovic
- 25:20Speaker 1: can beat Carlos aal Karez, but hey, don't underestimate a
- 25:27Speaker 1: guy who has twenty three, twenty four majors something like that.
- 25:33Speaker 1: He's thirty eight years old. His body has betrayed him
- 25:39Speaker 1: and a couple of the other majors this year, and
- 25:46Speaker 1: you can see him kind of the other thing you
- 25:49Speaker 1: want when I watched him last night, and what's impressive,
- 25:53Speaker 1: and this comes with age and experience, is the guy
- 25:57Speaker 1: picks his spots when he wants to do battle, right.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I mean, in terms of maximum effort he is. He
- 26:04Speaker 1: is picking his spots. He knows when the big points
- 26:07Speaker 1: are during the match, he knows what he has to
- 26:11Speaker 1: do when he's you know, when his serve is on.
- 26:16Speaker 1: It's it's fun to watch Fritz, on the other hand,
- 26:21Speaker 1: frustrated and you know, when you're oh and nine against
- 26:25Speaker 1: a guy roh and ten, you can understand that. But
- 26:31Speaker 1: I mean, Djokovic is unbelievable. And what he is still
- 26:37Speaker 1: doing at thirty eight, that's you know, I'd like to
- 26:43Speaker 1: say it's Brady like. Brady certainly didn't run like Djokovic runs, right.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I mean, don't get me wrong. He's staying in the
- 26:54Speaker 1: pocket and he's getting hit by big strong men and
- 26:58Speaker 1: making places by and he was very fit, and he
- 27:03Speaker 1: had to do the same thing to play into his forties, right,
- 27:06Speaker 1: he had to. So they're very similar from that standpoint,
- 27:11Speaker 1: because if you're still doing it at that age, that's
- 27:18Speaker 1: very impressive. It's very impressive. I'm kind of afraid to
- 27:24Speaker 1: check to see what the Rangers are doing right now.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Every time I want out, they pulled me back in.
- 27:35Speaker 1: They had won six in a row until last night,
- 27:38Speaker 1: they had won nine of eleven. But they are losing
- 27:45Speaker 1: two to nothing. It is the top of the seventh inning. No,
- 27:53Speaker 1: it's the yes, it's the top of the seventh inning.
- 27:57Speaker 1: The Rangers with one out and one on in the
- 28:04Speaker 1: top of the seventh inning, with Ezekiel Duran at the plate.
- 28:08Speaker 1: And by the way, they lost another player day before yesterday,
- 28:12Speaker 1: a Doli Scarcio was hitting and playing really well out
- 28:16Speaker 1: with a strained quad. Don't know how long they were
- 28:21Speaker 1: thinking about putting him on the ten day IL, And
- 28:28Speaker 1: we'll see what happens during the streak. The Rangers have
- 28:32Speaker 1: been very good at coming from behind, including on Monday
- 28:37Speaker 1: evening when they look dead in the water, and scored
- 28:39Speaker 1: two in the ninth inning and one in the tent
- 28:43Speaker 1: So we're not giving up quite yet. Let me see
- 28:46Speaker 1: who pitched. Let me see that's Arizona. Zach Gallon six innings,
- 28:58Speaker 1: four hits, one walk, five k's. I mean it's just
- 29:05Speaker 1: I will say, I'm looking at the win probability right now,
- 29:09Speaker 1: eighty two and a half percent for the deep bas
- 29:12Speaker 1: But hey, we'll see, not gonna not going to give
- 29:17Speaker 1: up quite yet. Hey Galleria, gentlemen, this is this is

- 31:54Speaker 1: Scott Clandennon is with us, and we were just talking
- 31:59Speaker 1: about Valdez of the astrosy. What's going on yet, I'm
- 32:05Speaker 1: just sick about this Astros thing. I'm really upset about it. Yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 1: I hate it. Yeah, I hate it for all you
- 32:16Speaker 1: Astros fans, for the clubhouse, for having such a head
- 32:21Speaker 1: case in the middle clubhouse.
- 32:24Speaker 17: Uh.
- 32:24Speaker 1: You know, Seattle's crashing and burning too.
- 32:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Uh, so everyone's crashing and burning in the West. Everybody's
- 32:32Speaker 1: going to be limping into the playoffs, whoever it is.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Except for.
- 32:37Speaker 11: No.
- 32:38Speaker 1: No, I didn't say the A's Rays.
- 32:40Speaker 9: No, the best record in baseball, uh since the All.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Star Break, even being swept by the Rangers. Yes, I
- 32:49Speaker 1: didn't know that. But but look out for my Tampa
- 32:52Speaker 1: Bay Rays. Every time they're written off. They're they're only
- 32:56Speaker 1: three out right now and they're on a heater. Uh.
- 33:00Speaker 1: And they may be of the teams that we've mentioned
- 33:02Speaker 1: so far, the best of that group.
- 33:04Speaker 9: Well, you never leave the table when you're on a.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Heater, exactly, do not leave the table. So you know,
- 33:13Speaker 1: we know Framber's always been a head case. He's always
- 33:15Speaker 1: been a head case.
- 33:16Speaker 9: Okay, so.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Were you watching last night?
- 33:21Speaker 9: Yes?
- 33:22Speaker 1: I was, okay, so I turned I turned over for
- 33:27Speaker 1: the Grand Slam and then I flipped. You know, I'm
- 33:30Speaker 1: watching tennis and I'm flipping around, and so I missed
- 33:34Speaker 1: the next pitch.
- 33:36Speaker 9: No, you missed before the Grand Slam?
- 33:38Speaker 1: Oh? Is that what it was?
- 33:40Speaker 9: Yes? He told him to step off and not throw
- 33:43Speaker 9: the pitch.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Oh the catcher.
- 33:44Speaker 9: The catcher said don't throw. Yeah, because he called a
- 33:49Speaker 9: curveball and I shook him off and wanted to throw
- 33:52Speaker 9: that meatball slider that ended three hundred and ninety eight
- 33:56Speaker 9: feet and there's Salasar Salasar, Yeah, yes, yeah, so that
- 34:01Speaker 9: started it. Well I missed that, Yes, I did miss Yes,
- 34:04Speaker 9: because I honestly I saw the bases reloaded and I said, hey.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna wait right and that boom. Yes, yeah,
- 34:13Speaker 1: so that's what started everything.
- 34:16Speaker 9: No, what precipitates all of this is he doesn't want
- 34:21Speaker 9: ds to catching.
- 34:25Speaker 1: He didn't want Salazar to.
- 34:26Speaker 9: Get No, he doesn't want Das to catch it, okay,
- 34:30Speaker 9: and that's why Salazar was catching him, okay, because yeah, ear, yeah,
- 34:37Speaker 9: Das is not the one he wants catching him ever.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Okay. So what happened with that deal? Do you know
- 34:43Speaker 1: when did that start?
- 34:44Speaker 9: That started last year? Okay when he went to him
- 34:51Speaker 9: and Verlander did not want Das catching them?
- 34:54Speaker 1: Okay?
- 34:55Speaker 9: Was it two years ago?
- 34:56Speaker 1: Well, it had to be two years two years.
- 34:58Speaker 9: Ago, okay, So he doesn't want Das catching him, okay.
- 35:04Speaker 9: So the Astros weren't having ds catch him. And when
- 35:11Speaker 9: the concussion took out Keratini ds caudy, okay, they caught
- 35:20Speaker 9: seven innings of shutout baseball, okay. But Framber didn't want
- 35:25Speaker 9: him catching even after that, even after that, okay, So
- 35:30Speaker 9: he put his foot down to get Salazar out there.
- 35:34Speaker 9: And Salazar may be a lifer, quadruple A player, sometimes
- 35:39Speaker 9: at Triple A, sometimes up at the majors, but he's
- 35:44Speaker 9: trying to call a game that's gonna get you a win.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Yeah. So at the time, at the time, to be clear,
- 35:51Speaker 1: it's to it was two to nothing, two to nothing, right, yes,
- 35:54Speaker 1: to nothing.
- 35:55Speaker 9: And he wouldn't throw the pitch at Salazar wanted him
- 35:57Speaker 9: to throw he threw his pitch, and he said after
- 36:01Speaker 9: the game, I threw my pitch. I didn't want to
- 36:04Speaker 9: throw the pitch he wanted me to throw. Okay. And
- 36:08Speaker 9: then after the home run, that's when he hit Salazar
- 36:12Speaker 9: on purpose, because last week Craig Kimball hit DS in
- 36:18Speaker 9: the wrist when he crossed him up. And the whole
- 36:21Speaker 9: time Kimber was looking at him concerned that I've just
- 36:25Speaker 9: hit my catcher and I've hurt him. Okay, Frammer didn't.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Do anything that was accidental.
- 36:32Speaker 9: Framer turned around and wouldn't even look at him.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I didn't see I didn't see any of that.
- 36:38Speaker 9: And Salazar took a couple of steps before he got
- 36:42Speaker 9: the ball back from the umpire and threw it and
- 36:45Speaker 9: then got back in his position. He handled it professionally,
- 36:51Speaker 9: and your big money free agent to be did not.
- 36:55Speaker 1: So, so let me ask you this. The guys obviously
- 36:58Speaker 1: got got great stuff. He's obviously a head case. They've
- 37:02Speaker 1: always managed mostly Yes, what does his Saldonado manage to true?
- 37:08Speaker 1: What is this? What does this do uh for? For
- 37:12Speaker 1: free agency? If anything does it? Does it hurt his chances?
- 37:16Speaker 1: First of all? Without last night? In your opinion, where
- 37:20Speaker 1: the astro is going to resign him. No, they don't.
- 37:23Speaker 1: They didn't. You don't.
- 37:25Speaker 9: No, okay, not not because of how anyway, He's.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Just the money.
- 37:31Speaker 9: It's just the money.
- 37:32Speaker 1: Okay. So what does this do for him going forward?
- 37:37Speaker 1: I mean, somebody's going to pay right, everybody needs pitching.
- 37:42Speaker 1: But our and we talked about this. When your agent
- 37:45Speaker 1: has to release his statement about what happened, and it
- 37:48Speaker 1: was a horrible statement, you're going that's not good.
- 37:51Speaker 9: No, it's not good. Yeah, because he's trying to cover
- 37:54Speaker 9: himself with the agent because Astros made a statement, salas
- 37:59Speaker 9: Are made statement, fromer made a statement. Yes, then you
- 38:03Speaker 9: just need to be quiet. You just need to let
- 38:06Speaker 9: it go. It's already out.
- 38:07Speaker 1: But the agent can't do that. Well no, because he
- 38:10Speaker 1: has to get as much money as he can to
- 38:12Speaker 1: free agency.
- 38:13Speaker 9: Yes, he has to protect him to try to get
- 38:15Speaker 9: as much money. Now everybody thinks they can fix anybody. Yes,
- 38:22Speaker 9: that is coaching. Yes, we see it now more than
- 38:24Speaker 9: ever in the transfer portal and college athletics yep, okay,
- 38:28Speaker 9: which is free agent every day of the week, all
- 38:30Speaker 9: the time. Everybody can fix everybody. But Framburg probably did
- 38:38Speaker 9: not help himself at places where your clubhouse ain't gonna
- 38:44Speaker 9: put up with that. And I mean, why would the
- 38:47Speaker 9: why would the Philadelphia Phillies want to bring in a
- 38:51Speaker 9: guy that's gonna throw at his catcher when he doesn't like.
- 38:56Speaker 14: That.
- 38:56Speaker 9: You got mad at me when I shook off a
- 38:59Speaker 9: call and gave up a home run, and I can't
- 39:05Speaker 9: take responsibility for that. Yeah, there are certain places that
- 39:08Speaker 9: it's not going to play. Do you think the Dodgers
- 39:12Speaker 9: want any part of that?
- 39:13Speaker 3: No?
- 39:13Speaker 1: No, you would think look any any like winning atmosphere
- 39:19Speaker 1: teams for the most part, right.
- 39:21Speaker 9: Which which the Astros are except for Frambervelt, No doubt.
- 39:25Speaker 9: That's why they're still able to be the Astros.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Well, I mean there's still you have a couple of
- 39:32Speaker 1: guys around.
- 39:33Speaker 9: Well, now that's what.
- 39:33Speaker 1: I just I just started to say. Do you think
- 39:38Speaker 1: they've already had a conversation with because they're trying to win, right,
- 39:43Speaker 1: They're they're they're like three games ahead. They have to
- 39:48Speaker 1: continue to win, right, and they they can't put up
- 39:51Speaker 1: with this bs no while this is going on, and
- 39:54Speaker 1: they can't put up with one of their top two
- 39:56Speaker 1: or three starters, uh uh doing crap like this when
- 40:00Speaker 1: they're tried to win a division.
- 40:01Speaker 9: No, No, your three guys in Korea, Jordan Alvarez and
- 40:09Speaker 9: jose L Tuve, if they haven't.
- 40:12Speaker 1: All ready, they could speak his language exactly. There doesn't
- 40:17Speaker 1: have to be an interpreter in the middle of that.
- 40:19Speaker 9: No, there doesn't. So and the fact that Diaz is
- 40:24Speaker 9: well liked, that Salazar did not do anything active, active
- 40:29Speaker 9: professionally after he got wrong. You don't you know, you're
- 40:35Speaker 9: this is for this next game, when all the focus
- 40:40Speaker 9: is going to be how he is in the dugout.
- 40:43Speaker 9: That's going to be a lot more important than what
- 40:45Speaker 9: his agent said today. Hal Framber acts in the dugout
- 40:49Speaker 9: when Salazar's in the dugout, when uh Diaz is catching,
- 40:55Speaker 9: and when he's around other players, because you know other
- 40:59Speaker 9: stars aren't gonna put up with this. Why did Luis
- 41:02Speaker 9: Garcia work as hard as he did to get back
- 41:04Speaker 9: to this? And then you're gonna, you know, you're gonna
- 41:08Speaker 9: treat the guy that's been catching me at Triple A
- 41:11Speaker 9: for for my rehabs and all that, You're gonna treat
- 41:14Speaker 9: him like it was. It was. It was a very
- 41:17Speaker 9: bad look. But the people that need to talk to
- 41:20Speaker 9: him do speak his language, and there's not gonna be
- 41:23Speaker 9: any missing interpretation, no correct, correct, This is not verlander.
- 41:30Speaker 9: Even though Framber doesn't want to speak English, Framber understands it.
- 41:34Speaker 1: Five of course he does.
- 41:36Speaker 9: Okay, but you're not gonna have it. This would be
- 41:39Speaker 9: This would be Bregmant. Bregman, who taught himself Spanish, would
- 41:42Speaker 9: be doing the exact same thing. The Astros still have
- 41:45Speaker 9: enough leadership on this team to go to him and
- 41:48Speaker 9: say this ain't gonna work, because even if you're not

- 43:20Speaker 18: Houston Astros dropped the opener of the series against the
- 43:22Speaker 18: New York Yankees, following by a score of seven to
- 43:25Speaker 18: one from Rivalde has allowed a grand slam to Trend
- 43:27Speaker 18: Grisham in the fifth. Valdez was tagged for six runs
- 43:30Speaker 18: over five innings in the route. Offensively, the Astros were
- 43:34Speaker 18: held to just five hits the ir DA is, the
- 43:35Speaker 18: Loan RBI and the Feelers choice. In the sixth, Manager
- 43:38Speaker 18: Joe Spought a postgame on Farmber's outing, if.

- 45:55Speaker 1: Scott cland Dennon is with us. Let's we're going to
- 46:00Speaker 1: talk some Aggie football. What we gotta do.
- 46:03Speaker 9: We gotta do the picks.
- 46:04Speaker 1: No, not yet, not yet, we're doing I'm.
- 46:08Speaker 9: At the top.
- 46:09Speaker 1: I'm not at the top. So that's not at the
- 46:14Speaker 1: Top's a lie. You're not at the top. Just what
- 46:17Speaker 1: I said.
- 46:17Speaker 9: I know I'm tied for fourth.
- 46:20Speaker 1: That's not at the top. That's as close you're not
- 46:25Speaker 1: used to being.
- 46:26Speaker 9: That's as close as Fritz was to being in the
- 46:28Speaker 9: City Fire.
- 46:29Speaker 1: It's as close as you've been I think in the
- 46:31Speaker 1: history of this contest after one week, no after any week,
- 46:37Speaker 1: I think this is as close as you've ever been.
- 46:39Speaker 1: So enjoy it this week. But we're not ready for
- 46:42Speaker 1: that yet. Let's talk some football. First. I saw you, so,
- 46:48Speaker 1: I know you were at the game on Saturday.
- 46:51Speaker 9: Yes, thoughts, I like, I wanted to see that kind
- 47:00Speaker 9: of offense. Chip, I told you that last Wednesday. I
- 47:04Speaker 9: wanted to see proficiency in your offense. Answered my questions.
- 47:09Speaker 9: Somebody's gonna gang up against you in the box. You
- 47:12Speaker 9: have to be proficient enough to throw it and and
- 47:16Speaker 9: get these weapons the ball, and I did that. Running
- 47:21Speaker 9: the football not so good until after the seventy five
- 47:27Speaker 9: yard run. There's a little coaching discussion, little coaching going
- 47:30Speaker 9: on on the sideline.
- 47:31Speaker 1: You're talking about run defense, run, not run. Offense not run.
- 47:37Speaker 9: You've got to be able to take what they give you.
- 47:40Speaker 9: If Utah State shows up this week and plays too
- 47:43Speaker 9: deep zone the whole time and rushes three and and
- 47:48Speaker 9: your offensive line is blowing people off the ball. I
- 47:51Speaker 9: want you to run it. I want you to I
- 47:53Speaker 9: want you to get two hundred and twenty five yards
- 47:56Speaker 9: rushing the football.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Look, I don't care how many people you States putting
- 48:00Speaker 1: into line of scrimmage because they're not very good.
- 48:03Speaker 9: So if you can't run, you're not You're saying UTSA
- 48:05Speaker 9: beat Utah State.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Yes, that's that was the consensus from my writers on Monday,
- 48:11Speaker 1: that they would beat them fairly easily.
- 48:12Speaker 9: Yes, I agree.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Uh So, if you're not running the football against Utah State,
- 48:17Speaker 1: then next week we got issues.
- 48:19Speaker 9: No, we don't. It's got a bye week. We're gonna go.
- 48:21Speaker 9: We're gonna win the bye week.
- 48:23Speaker 1: We got issues. They need to run the football, they do,
- 48:27Speaker 1: uh and and against the Utah States of the world.
- 48:29Speaker 1: They need to run the football.
- 48:31Speaker 9: But they also need to they need to have their
- 48:33Speaker 9: offense have success.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I'm not arguing that, but they have to run the football.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Their offense is not going to have success if they
- 48:41Speaker 1: can't consistently run the football this season period. So they
- 48:46Speaker 1: have to run the football, and they've got to run
- 48:48Speaker 1: it against the team that's not very good. And if
- 48:51Speaker 1: they can't do it, I will say again, then all
- 48:54Speaker 1: of the questions I had going into the season will
- 48:58Speaker 1: remain with the offensive.
- 49:00Speaker 9: Line unless say, passbockeral well.
- 49:03Speaker 1: They have pass blocked. Okay, pass blocking really has not
- 49:07Speaker 1: been a huge issue for a couple of years. Even
- 49:09Speaker 1: last year. I thought they passed blocked pretty well. Yes,
- 49:12Speaker 1: but they did not run block. On many occasions, they
- 49:15Speaker 1: were very.
- 49:16Speaker 9: How carriages is consistent? How many carries do the running
- 49:20Speaker 9: backs get?
- 49:20Speaker 1: I get they didn't run the football. I understand that.
- 49:24Speaker 1: That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying, how many carries
- 49:27Speaker 1: does he need this dam football on Saturday morning?
- 49:30Speaker 9: How many times does he need to carry it? Mind
- 49:33Speaker 9: the back? Yeah, between all of them, No, between your
- 49:36Speaker 9: two primary guys.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I want to see him carry it twenty five.
- 49:39Speaker 9: Times between the two of them, between the two.
- 49:42Speaker 1: Of them, and then you throw it thirty five times
- 49:44Speaker 1: or twenty five times or whatever, because I hope those
- 49:48Speaker 1: two aren't in the game by the end of the
- 49:50Speaker 1: third quarter. So twenty five times in three quarters. Yeah,
- 49:54Speaker 1: I want to see him run the football.
- 49:56Speaker 9: I want thirty.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Okay, let's go thirty and let's see if they average
- 50:01Speaker 1: between four and five yards. It carried right.
- 50:03Speaker 9: That's what I'm saying. I want two and twenty five
- 50:05Speaker 9: yards and I want the guys you put in in
- 50:07Speaker 9: the fourth quarter like you did this last week, to
- 50:10Speaker 9: have some success when they're out there offensively.
- 50:13Speaker 1: It's in for you what you would hope so because
- 50:15Speaker 1: important again, you have a big talent gap, not only
- 50:21Speaker 1: in the first team, but you should have big really
- 50:23Speaker 1: even bigger talent talent gaps right in the second and
- 50:27Speaker 1: third team players for program like this. Yeah, you just should.
- 50:30Speaker 9: I mean, it depends on if your other team is
- 50:33Speaker 9: still playing their starters, which if you beat them up,
- 50:35Speaker 9: they're not going to be out.
- 50:36Speaker 1: There, or if you're way ahead, it doesn't matter if
- 50:40Speaker 1: they're still playing their starters, because they're not going to
- 50:42Speaker 1: have the same zeal they're going to run on the
- 50:43Speaker 1: football field with because they'll be beaten down by this.
- 50:46Speaker 9: Yes, but defending the run, I thought after the long
- 50:53Speaker 9: touchdown run, they play the way of fence they were
- 50:55Speaker 9: supposed to play.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Arizona's still leading two to nothing going into the bottom
- 50:58Speaker 1: of the eighth thing, why you look at it on there?
- 51:02Speaker 9: Why not you don't got the game on?
- 51:04Speaker 1: No, we didn't. We don't have that here.
- 51:07Speaker 9: But you can watch the Astros last night on TBS.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't know that I was watching on the
- 51:11Speaker 1: Astros network. I didn't know you could watch on TV. Yes,
- 51:15Speaker 1: I would have been watching on TV as I probably
- 51:17Speaker 1: would have watched more of the game. Actually, who are
- 51:20Speaker 1: those announcers? By the way, Astros announcers?
- 51:26Speaker 9: You couldn't the Astros weren't broadcasting last night.
- 51:28Speaker 1: I watched him. I watched him on the Astros network.
- 51:32Speaker 1: Don't tell me I have direct TV. You don't. So
- 51:34Speaker 1: I watched them.
- 51:35Speaker 9: I have Foupoh, I watched them all the time.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Okay, but you didn't watch them on the Astros network
- 51:40Speaker 1: last night.
- 51:41Speaker 9: I didn't.
- 51:41Speaker 1: I did, so. I know you don't want to answer
- 51:44Speaker 1: my question. But who are the Astros announcers?
- 51:48Speaker 9: Uh? Todd Kallis and Blum?
- 51:51Speaker 1: Who's who's Blum?
- 51:53Speaker 9: Jeff Blum?
- 51:53Speaker 1: Okay, he's not very good played for the Astro.
- 51:56Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, no, I know the name hit the hit
- 51:59Speaker 9: the home run for they had him.
- 52:00Speaker 1: By the way, I saw a deal that astrol fans
- 52:03Speaker 1: are unhappy because Bregman has been coming in and like
- 52:06Speaker 1: doing a few Craig color I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 52:12Speaker 9: Uh, bagwell, yes.
- 52:15Speaker 1: So has he just come in when he wants to
- 52:17Speaker 1: or do a series all the whole series, yes, like
- 52:21Speaker 1: radio or TV.
- 52:23Speaker 9: Uh, he has done.
- 52:25Speaker 1: They trade out?
- 52:25Speaker 9: No, they don't trade out this last time when everybody
- 52:28Speaker 9: got upset with me.
- 52:29Speaker 1: So I haven't heard it. Why are they upset with him?
- 52:31Speaker 1: Is he not good? Or is he not? Is he
- 52:33Speaker 1: too critical?
- 52:34Speaker 10: Is he?
- 52:34Speaker 9: No, he's not. He's not really good, just not very good.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Yes, okay, all right, I was just I just saw
- 52:40Speaker 1: a little headlined last week. You know, I don't really
- 52:42Speaker 1: pay that much attention. There was some twitter, okay, yes
- 52:46Speaker 1: there was. Okay, back back to the game Saturday after.
- 52:50Speaker 9: But after the long run when when I with my
- 52:53Speaker 9: own eyes saw the interaction between the coaches and then
- 52:58Speaker 9: between the coaches and the players, they played defense how
- 53:01Speaker 9: they were supposed to play.
- 53:02Speaker 1: They did, I mean the last you know, the every
- 53:06Speaker 1: series after the first one of the second half. Yes, however,
- 53:12Speaker 1: that's that's the that's the other issue, because we have
- 53:16Speaker 1: we have seen this team play really good run defense
- 53:20Speaker 1: and give up runs like that last year and it
- 53:24Speaker 1: cost him right big plays and runs misfitting and Alco
- 53:29Speaker 1: said after the game, he goes I told my team,
- 53:32Speaker 1: I said, every game is four to five plays, and
- 53:34Speaker 1: you don't know which four to five plays those are.
- 53:36Speaker 1: That's why he's, you know, asking for this consistency and saying, look, quote,
- 53:42Speaker 1: misfitting a run will get you beat. Right.
- 53:45Speaker 9: Uh, he does not. He does not shine on about it.
- 53:48Speaker 1: No, No, he never and I'm not saying he did.
- 53:50Speaker 1: I mean he's he always hits it head on. But
- 53:52Speaker 1: he's right. I mean, that's the point. He's right. You
- 53:55Speaker 1: can't have these kind of mistakes in the games that
- 53:58Speaker 1: they're going to play this year.
- 54:00Speaker 9: No, you just can't, because Notre Dame. If car is
- 54:04Speaker 9: better in two weeks or three weeks whatever.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Or if they give him the ball.
- 54:08Speaker 9: No, I'm just saying, if he is better, it's still
- 54:11Speaker 9: the running back that will win or lose the game
- 54:13Speaker 9: against the Aggies. For Notre Dame, if they run the
- 54:16Speaker 9: football like they did last year against A and M,
- 54:20Speaker 9: and you're keeping a pretty good looking A and M
- 54:23Speaker 9: offense off the field, that gives Notre Dame the chance
- 54:26Speaker 9: to win. You cannot play run defense against Notre Dame
- 54:30Speaker 9: like you did against Texas State. I mean, are you
- 54:33Speaker 9: all right?
- 54:34Speaker 1: By the way, those two teams play this week. That
- 54:36Speaker 1: should be very interesting. Yeah, we're not talking about Yeah,
- 54:39Speaker 1: we're not talking about those yet. David Gardner's Jewelers is
- 54:42Speaker 1: open until six o'clock this evening. They're open ten to

- 55:02Speaker 1: tell you about the big pickleball bracelets that David has. Yes,
