- 0:19TV slot,
- 0:20so make sure to check that out.
- 0:21But we're gonna start
- 0:22tonight
- 0:23by doing.
- 0:24The left's impotent 2028 field.
- 0:27It's never too early to look ahead.
- 0:29Who the heck knows what's going to happen,
- 0:31uh,
- 0:31when in 4 years or three years,
- 0:33I guess now,
- 0:33in the 2028 election cycle,
- 0:35but
- 0:36I was fascinated to see that they,
- 0:38the left's trying to put together some sort of group of people that
- 0:42they will select from for 2028,
- 0:43and I will say it's not a promising list.
- 0:45It's not looking that good.
- 0:47Uh,
- 0:47The Hill did this,
- 0:47by the way,
- 0:47the top 10 Democratic contenders
- 0:49for 2028.
- 0:52And I,
- 0:52I think we should just go through them.
- 0:53Is there anyone here you're scared of?
- 0:55Anyone here that you think is going to potentially win
- 0:58or could actually even win the nomination?
- 0:59It's hard to believe.
- 1:01Um,
- 1:01they have this,
- 1:02this is from their contender rankings.
- 1:03They,
- 1:04they literally have at number 10,
- 1:05Stephen A.
- 1:06Smith.
- 1:07Now Stephen A.
- 1:08Smith is.
- 1:09He's an ESPN personality who kind of just barely
- 1:12sort of confirmed he might think about running,
- 1:15and already he's on the list at number 10.
- 1:17This is how pathetic this field is.
- 1:19This is how thin the bench is
- 1:21for the Democratic Party.
- 1:23Now I mean you look over at the opponents.
- 1:24I know a lot of people are talking about the 3rd term thing for Donald Trump,
- 1:27you know,
- 1:27it's not my bag,
- 1:28but I will say
- 1:29JD Vance looks like the clear leader.
- 1:32Unless things go particularly poorly
- 1:35for the Trump administration.
- 1:36You still see people like Ron DeSantiss on the other side,
- 1:38a couple of others that could sneak in there.
- 1:40But like,
- 1:41you know,
- 1:41the right has a,
- 1:42I,
- 1:42I think a,
- 1:43a sane,
- 1:44sensible
- 1:46path forward.
- 1:47It's kind of logical where they might go.
- 1:49Uh,
- 1:49on the other side,
- 1:50not so much.
- 1:51I mean,
- 1:51Stephen A.
- 1:51Smith is making the list.
- 1:53I mean,
- 1:54honestly,
- 1:54would you even have known he was a Democrat?
- 1:55Uh,
- 1:56I mean,
- 1:56he surely kind of sounds like that sometimes,
- 1:57but I don't think that was even really public information very recently,
- 2:01but he's number 10.
- 2:02Number 9,
- 2:03Rahm Emanuel.
- 2:06Like the chief of staff for Barack Obama,
- 2:08I know
- 2:10the right,
- 2:11you know,
- 2:12looks at the Obama era a little bit differently than the left.
- 2:14They like,
- 2:14they,
- 2:14the left thought the Obama era was a huge success.
- 2:17I would say it was not.
- 2:18And I know they want to go back to the Obama era
- 2:20because everything they've done since has been an obvious and overt failure,
- 2:23but.
- 2:24Rahm Emanuel,
- 2:26really,
- 2:26uh,
- 2:26he wound up being mayor of Chicago,
- 2:28uh,
- 2:28after that,
- 2:29but really,
- 2:30has anyone talked about him in years?
- 2:31It's hard to imagine he would even have a chance.
- 2:34Number 8 is Pete Buttigieg.
- 2:37Now,
- 2:37Mayor Pete was a mayor of a town.
- 2:41Uh,
- 2:41he was criticized by the Biden campaign for not filling potholes.
- 2:45That was his,
- 2:46his wonderful run.
- 2:47I guess he did better than the typical mayor no one had ever heard of.
- 2:50Like,
- 2:51usually that happens,
- 2:52you get into,
- 2:52you get into that race and.
- 2:54You know,
- 2:54like,
- 2:54even like on the right,
- 2:55the mayor of Miami ran and people weren't really familiar with him,
- 2:58didn't really go anywhere.
- 3:00Mayor Pete did kind of rise up,
- 3:01get to the high single digits
- 3:03when he ran back in the day,
- 3:05but
- 3:05does anyone really think
- 3:07that he's a threat?
- 3:08Um,
- 3:09he was kind of promoted.
- 3:10As this big guy,
- 3:11and I swear,
- 3:12the Biden administration was like,
- 3:13you know,
- 3:14Pete Buttigieg might be some competition for us.
- 3:17Let's bring him into the role that is the worst possible role in government,
- 3:22Transportation Secretary,
- 3:23which he idiotically accepted,
- 3:26and then just watched as trains derailed all
- 3:28over the place and poisonous gas was released.
- 3:31Uh,
- 3:31that was his legacy.
- 3:32So I don't know.
- 3:33The fact that he's number 8 is a real,
- 3:35it's got to be terrifying for you if you're on the left.
- 3:37Number 7.
- 3:38JB Pritzker.
- 3:41I mean,
- 3:41who put together this list?
- 3:43This is a catastrophe.
- 3:44There he is,
- 3:45JB,
- 3:46um,
- 3:47attractive man,
- 3:48sure,
- 3:49but is he really a contender?
- 3:51The one reason,
- 3:52of course,
- 3:52he would be talked about at all in this context is he has a lot of money.
- 3:56He's a billionaire,
- 3:57so
- 3:57you can never count out a billionaire,
- 3:59you know,
- 3:59you can,
- 4:00you can spend a lot,
- 4:01you can buy a bunch of votes.
- 4:02Didn't work for Michael Bloomberg.
- 4:03I doubt it's going to work for JB Pritzker.
- 4:06But he's,
- 4:07he's there at all.
- 4:08Now you might say like,
- 4:09OK,
- 4:09this field sucks so far.
- 4:10Then where's the big names?
- 4:12Because so far,
- 4:12this is a bunch of,
- 4:13a bunch of nobodies
- 4:15outside of Stephen A.
- 4:16Smith,
- 4:16who
- 4:17almost certainly won't run.
- 4:18But number 6,
- 4:20you get the big name start.
- 4:21Kamala Harris.
- 4:23Yeah.
- 4:24I mean they are actually
- 4:26putting her on the list of contenders.
- 4:30For 2028,
- 4:31after what happened,
- 4:32she ran in 2020,
- 4:34she failed miserably in 2020.
- 4:37She then,
- 4:38uh,
- 4:39became vice president as a gift,
- 4:40because I guess when you call Joe Biden racist,
- 4:43you get rewarded by becoming the vice president of the United States.
- 4:46She runs that into the ground.
- 4:48She somehow,
- 4:48without getting any votes,
- 4:49becomes the nominee because suddenly people are convinced that the thing that we
- 4:53all saw with Joe Biden over all of these years was actually true.
- 4:57And then she gets,
- 4:57you know,
- 4:58demolished in the actual
- 4:59campaign.
- 5:00I mean,
- 5:00she didn't get demolished and she lost a somewhat close election,
- 5:03but she lost all seven swing states.
- 5:05That's kind of bad,
- 5:06right?
- 5:07Again,
- 5:07it's in between a blowout
- 5:09and a super razor thin election.
- 5:10It wasn't 2000,
- 5:12but it wasn't 2008 either.
- 5:13I mean,
- 5:13it was in the middle there,
- 5:15but.
- 5:16Kamala Harris,
- 5:16really?
- 5:17If she's on your list,
- 5:18you should flush the list.
- 5:20Number 5,
- 5:21and this is what I see a lot of hype for,
- 5:23uh,
- 5:23on the left,
- 5:24is Governor Wes Moore.
- 5:26You might not know him at all.
- 5:27He is the governor of Maryland.
- 5:30Hasn't really accomplished an awful lot,
- 5:33kind of a,
- 5:33uh,
- 5:33uh,
- 5:34uh,
- 5:34an unknown nationally.
- 5:36But he's generally a pretty good communicator,
- 5:39a guy who is on the left would hit some
- 5:41of the intersectional barriers that must be breached each time
- 5:45you pick someone.
- 5:46You can't pick based on merit,
- 5:48obviously
- 5:49alone.
- 5:49It has to be skin color or genitals have to be mixed into the conversation,
- 5:53so.
- 5:54West Moore is a guy who does have some.
- 5:56He seems to be an Obama favorite,
- 5:58seems to have some buzz on the left.
- 6:00I wouldn't be surprised if he kind of remains in
- 6:02the top half of a top 10 here over the next
- 6:04few years.
- 6:06I am more surprised that they're even trying this with number 4,
- 6:09Gavin Newsom.
- 6:10Newsom.
- 6:11Look,
- 6:12he's been a catastrophe for the,
- 6:13for the state of California.
- 6:14Let's be honest about it.
- 6:15He was awful
- 6:17during COVID.
- 6:18He went out to dinner when he was trying to
- 6:19convince everyone else they needed to be in lockdown.
- 6:22Uh,
- 6:22that was just a total disaster.
- 6:24Uh,
- 6:24he almost got recalled and people were like,
- 6:26well,
- 6:26he won that election by a large margin.
- 6:28Yeah,
- 6:29I mean,
- 6:29just getting recalled at all is pretty bad,
- 6:31and it was pretty close.
- 6:33I mean,
- 6:33he was going up against Republicans who obviously Republican
- 6:37candidates in California have a very low chance of actually winning an election.
- 6:40And yet it was still pretty close
- 6:43up until the last couple of weeks where he opened up a lead,
- 6:46and then after that burned the state to the ground.
- 6:49Now I don't think he actually lit the fires,
- 6:51at least I'm not fully convinced that he specifically himself,
- 6:54you know,
- 6:55you know,
- 6:56lit a match and threw it into a field.
- 6:58I don't know that he specifically did that,
- 7:00but the recovery has been a disaster.
- 7:02The the situation with the way he responded was terrible.
- 7:06It wasn't all his fault,
- 7:08just mostly.
- 7:09So,
- 7:10that's going to turn him into a presidential candidate.
- 7:12I don't even understand it.
- 7:13By the way,
- 7:13Newsom is commenting on the future of the party.
- 7:15He says,
- 7:15I don't even know what the party is.
- 7:17And,
- 7:18you know,
- 7:18of course,
- 7:18he,
- 7:19he,
- 7:20he,
- 7:20how could he know?
- 7:21He changes his opinions every 5 days.
- 7:23How could he possibly know
- 7:24what's going on with the party?
- 7:25Just the other day,
- 7:26he was like,
- 7:26oh,
- 7:26I'm,
- 7:27of course I'm against men and women's sports.
- 7:29Like,
- 7:29where did this guy come from?
- 7:30He's trying to come off as this sensible Democrat,
- 7:34which
- 7:35is a path that is dangerous to Republicans,
- 7:38someone who actually sounds sensible
- 7:40on the left,
- 7:40who isn't constantly embracing 9 month abortions and
- 7:45you know men and women's sports and
- 7:49trans porn for your 3rd year grader in school,
- 7:52like all that crap.
- 7:54Uh,
- 7:55if you go away from that and shun that and sort of
- 7:57outwardly run against it and say I'm not that kind of Democrat,
- 8:00there's a real vulnerability for the right,
- 8:03uh,
- 8:03with that type of person.
- 8:04I'm scared of it,
- 8:05frankly,
- 8:05because,
- 8:06uh,
- 8:07you know,
- 8:07there's not a lot of Republicans who can handle this,
- 8:09and we will see.
- 8:11Gavin Newsom is not the guy to pull off that strategy though.
- 8:13He is a far left,
- 8:15insane person.
- 8:17But here is what he says about the party itself.
- 8:20We have not done a forensic
- 8:22of what just went wrong.
- 8:23Period.
- 8:24Full stop,
- 8:24Newsom said.
- 8:26I don't think
- 8:27I know it.
- 8:27I mean,
- 8:28to the extent that I'm marginally part of this party now,
- 8:30he's like distancing himself.
- 8:32See,
- 8:32I'm not really a Democrat.
- 8:33I'm sensible.
- 8:34Um,
- 8:35I represent the state larger than 21 state populations combined,
- 8:38and I can assure you that there has not been a party
- 8:40discussion that I'm aware of that has included the state of California.
- 8:43Later in the interview,
- 8:43Newsom said he wasn't sure what the Democratic Party truly represents,
- 8:47who it's leading,
- 8:48uh,
- 8:49and where it wants to go.
- 8:50I don't know what the party is.
- 8:52I'm still struggling with that.
- 8:53Well,
- 8:53no one knows what the party is.
- 8:55I mean,
- 8:55it is,
- 8:56there's a battle going on.
- 8:57On the left,
- 8:58and you're kind of seeing how that play out.
- 8:59Now Gavin Newsom is not a representative of the same wing,
- 9:02if there is one,
- 9:03of the Democratic Party.
- 9:04He is completely nuts and up until last week was a far leftist.
- 9:09You know,
- 9:09he's going to go back bounce back and forth because
- 9:12I mean he doesn't truly believe in much of
- 9:14anything other than the fact that Gavin Newsom's awesome.
- 9:17Like that is the kind of the beginning and end of his belief system,
- 9:20but that's where he is right now.
- 9:22Number 3 on this list is Gretchen Whitmer again.
- 9:26Gretchen Whitmer at number 3 is a disaster.
- 9:29She's terrible.
- 9:31Uh,
- 9:31she's,
- 9:32she was terrible during COVID.
- 9:34She,
- 9:34uh,
- 9:34you know,
- 9:35she had some sympathy because of what they said was a,
- 9:38a kidnapping scheme,
- 9:40uh,
- 9:40of,
- 9:41of her in,
- 9:41in Michigan,
- 9:42and so she was able to kind of hang on to power,
- 9:45uh,
- 9:45but she is not a national figure.
- 9:47She's not someone who I think is a real threat to win the nomination,
- 9:50let alone the presidency.
- 9:52And,
- 9:53uh,
- 9:53you know,
- 9:53the fact that you're that close,
- 9:54you've got her at number 3 is a real,
- 9:57it's got to make you really nervous
- 9:58as a Democrat.
- 10:00Now,
- 10:00number 2 on the list is somebody who I think does have uh uh some potential
- 10:04and is,
- 10:05I think,
- 10:05a bit scary to the right.
- 10:06It's Josh Shapiro.
- 10:07Shapiro's handled a lot of the situations in his state
- 10:10pretty well,
- 10:11and I mean that not necessarily that he runs the state well,
- 10:14but that he,
- 10:14he is able to kind of navigate the PR.
- 10:17Windfall
- 10:19that has hit him on the positive and negative side.
- 10:21He did a pretty good job coming out talking about against political violence
- 10:25and he kind of talked about it on either side of the aisle
- 10:27when it came to his house being burned down.
- 10:30He has the same sort of sympathetic
- 10:32view,
- 10:33at least among most Americans,
- 10:35because of that incident.
- 10:37Now,
- 10:37look,
- 10:37those incidents were totally different.
- 10:38His house really was lit on fire,
- 10:40by the way,
- 10:40lit on fire by a crazy person who was anti-Israel.
- 10:44That he didn't get the same sympathy from the media because of that,
- 10:47because they of course are sympathetic with the Hamas side of the argument.
- 10:51And I think for that reason,
- 10:53it's the reason why he was not the VP candidate and dummy Tim Walls was,
- 10:58uh,
- 10:58because he's Jewish and there is an anti-Jew,
- 11:01anti-Israel vibe on the left,
- 11:04a good chunk of it.
- 11:04There's a Hamas wing of the party.
- 11:07That's not going to let this happen.
- 11:09And so Josh Shapiro is running up against not
- 11:11only any conservative candidate that might be out there,
- 11:14uh,
- 11:14JD Vance,
- 11:14which would be a difficult person to go up against in,
- 11:16in,
- 11:17in,
- 11:17in,
- 11:17in a nomination battle,
- 11:18um,
- 11:19uh,
- 11:20for a presidential battle.
- 11:21This is,
- 11:22of course,
- 11:22if he wins the nomination.
- 11:24But also he's got to win that side of his party and he's got to go up against,
- 11:26I don't know,
- 11:27what's the percentage
- 11:28that just hates Israel and anything aside,
- 11:30uh,
- 11:30you know,
- 11:30associated with Jews,
- 11:3130%,
- 11:3140%,
- 11:3250% of the party.
- 11:33I don't know what it is.
- 11:34It's really high.
- 11:35And it prevented him from being the VP nominee.
- 11:37It may have prevented Kamala Harris from winning.
- 11:39I mean,
- 11:40again,
- 11:40Tim Walls was a real negative on that,
- 11:42on that campaign.
- 11:43He,
- 11:43he was a disaster.
- 11:43By the way,
- 11:44you notice Tim Walls,
- 11:45I'm not gonna spoil the rest of this list.
- 11:47He's not number 1.
- 11:49Um,
- 11:49he's not even anywhere on this top 10 list.
- 11:51He was a disaster.
- 11:53Josh Shapiro would have been formidable,
- 11:54and I,
- 11:55I,
- 11:55you know,
- 11:55I'm,
- 11:56I'm glad they didn't put him in there because remember,
- 11:58as I said,
- 11:59it was not 2008.
- 12:01This was not a 2000 election that was,
- 12:02you know,
- 12:02within 500 votes in one state,
- 12:04but there were 7 swing states.
- 12:06Trump did win them all,
- 12:07but the one he won
- 12:08in the biggest blowout of the 3 blue wall states he needed,
- 12:12uh,
- 12:12to,
- 12:13to win,
- 12:14uh,
- 12:14you know,
- 12:14she needed to win one of those states.
- 12:16The biggest blowout was 2 points,
- 12:172%.
- 12:19This,
- 12:19this was a relatively close election,
- 12:21and who knows?
- 12:22I don't think Shapiro would have made the difference,
- 12:24but
- 12:25certainly would have been closer.
- 12:26But the number one,
- 12:27and this is fascinating,
- 12:28this used to be a joke.
- 12:29We've joked about this before.
- 12:31We joked about how they,
- 12:32they'd never run AOC as a nominee.
- 12:35Yeah,
- 12:35AOC number one,
- 12:37the number one
- 12:39possibility,
- 12:40according to The Hill
- 12:41for 2028.
- 12:42And I,
- 12:43I will say there is a path there.
- 12:45The path is people really don't like Donald Trump,
- 12:47the,
- 12:47the,
- 12:48the presidency goes terrible and they'll just reflect to whatever Democrat wins,
- 12:52and she's seen as the only one taking this seriously.
- 12:54Look,
- 12:54she is
- 12:55blatantly,
- 12:56and this is happening with,
- 12:57I believe,
- 12:57Bernie Sanders,
- 12:59um,
- 12:59OK.
- 13:00They are trying to give her the Bernie Sanders position in the party,
- 13:04which is lead contender to the establishment,
- 13:06right?
- 13:07They want to make AOC the face of the party.
- 13:09There's nothing better to me.
- 13:11When it comes to Democrats
- 13:13than AOC becoming the face of the party
- 13:14with the possible exception of Jasmine Crockett,
- 13:16right?
- 13:17Like I,
- 13:17I,
- 13:17you know,
- 13:18that would be awesome too,
- 13:19uh,
- 13:19to be,
- 13:20uh,
- 13:20to be truthful.
- 13:21But
- 13:22like
- 13:22making AOC the voice of the left is a good thing for,
- 13:27for Republicans generally,
- 13:28but
- 13:28If things go very badly,
- 13:30like if there's a massive economic crisis,
- 13:33then any Democrat will win.
- 13:34And if she can win the nomination,
- 13:35she can.
- 13:36That's where the energy of the party is.
- 13:38We will see if that happens.
- 13:39The next AOC Young Democrats are aiming
- 13:41to topple incumbents inside their own party.
- 13:43There's a
- 13:44for many of these young candidates.
- 13:46are centered around a shared dissatisfaction with how
- 13:48sitting lawmakers have fought back against Trump's second term.
- 13:51This is the argument for AOC and how she could potentially win.
- 13:54Democratic leaders are divided on whether to support this effort.
- 13:57They'll come up with a reason not to support it because they're
- 13:58going to want to put an establishment type person in there,
- 14:01and AOC doesn't get along with a lot of them,
- 14:03but.
- 14:04It's not impossible,
- 14:05boys and girls.
- 14:06By the way,
- 14:06uh,
- 14:06also in the mix,
- 14:07Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear,
- 14:09I don't buy it.
- 14:10Senator Cory Booker,
- 14:11he gave that big long speech and now he's all the way down here in the,
- 14:14uh,
- 14:14also-rans.
- 14:15Senator John Fetterman,
- 14:16which I don't believe would happen.
- 14:17Rona,
- 14:18again,
- 14:19probably not.
- 14:20Amy Klobuchar,
- 14:21no.
- 14:21Senator,
- 14:22uh,
- 14:22Chris Murphy,
- 14:23no.
- 14:24Jon Ossoff,
- 14:25probably more popular,
- 14:26more possible than many of the others on this list.
- 14:29And finally,
- 14:29the last one on the also-rans,
- 14:32Governor
- 14:33Tim Stupid Walls.
- 14:45Do you ever catch your reflection and think,
- 14:47gosh,
- 14:48uh,
- 14:48did my jeans shrink?
- 14:50Or is the last month's great diet and all that,
- 14:53those lost pounds,
- 14:54maybe the diet's already staging a comeback.
- 14:56The pounds you fought off,
- 14:58love an encore,
- 14:59they creep back and then invite friends very,
- 15:01very quickly.
- 15:02Uh,
- 15:02every glossy magazine headline,
- 15:05you know,
- 15:05gonna give you some sort of miracle,
- 15:06and then of course they slip away
- 15:08while you chase the next trend.
- 15:11Your confidence,
- 15:11your closet,
- 15:12your health all pay the cover charge.
- 15:15The revolving door is exhausting and there's that sort of ping pong back and forth.
- 15:18It was why a team of physicians built something called Lean.
- 15:22It's a simple daily supplement,
- 15:24no needle drama,
- 15:25no pharmacy line,
- 15:27natural clinically.
- 15:28Few ingredients work on what they call the lean three.
- 15:31First,
- 15:31the steady blood sugar.
- 15:33They steady the blood sugar so that the 3 p.m. candy bowl stops.
- 15:38They end hopefully.
- 15:40You've got of course,
- 15:41the second step in this process,
- 15:42they silence the signal that says the fridge light.
- 15:45Uh,
- 15:46is something you want to keep popping on over and over again.
- 15:49You don't need to stand there at the fridge,
- 15:50nothing's going to change inside.
- 15:51Third,
- 15:51they flip stored fat into energy you can use.
- 15:54Lean will not do the push-ups for you,
- 15:56unfortunately,
- 15:57uh,
- 15:57but they will make sure that the work that you do finally sticks.
- 16:00Are you ready to lock the door on the comeback tour of your former

- 16:18I'm joined now by Dan Andros.
- 16:20He's managing editor of CBN News and host of CBN's Quick Start podcasts,
- 16:24which you can subscribe to wherever you get your podcasts.
- 16:28Dan,
- 16:28welcome to the program,
- 16:29the program.
- 16:30Hi,
- 16:30too.
- 16:31Thanks for having me.
- 16:32Yeah,
- 16:32I appreciate it.
- 16:33Um,
- 16:34I wanted to bring you on and talk about
- 16:36Carmelo Anthony,
- 16:37and normally we,
- 16:37we do talk sports a decent amount.
- 16:39I'm not talking about the,
- 16:40uh,
- 16:40NBA Hall of Famer,
- 16:41although I do feel a little bit bad for him,
- 16:43frankly,
- 16:43in this particular situation because
- 16:46Uh,
- 16:46the Carmel Anthony we're about to talk about starts with a K,
- 16:49and uh,
- 16:49he is a teen accused of fatally stabbing
- 16:52Austin Metcalf.
- 16:54He's now moved to an undisclosed location after reported death threats.
- 16:58Um,
- 16:59now it's interesting that people are concerned
- 17:01that he's being threatened by death,
- 17:03which you should of course never ever do,
- 17:04and not,
- 17:05not threaten anyone.
- 17:06Uh,
- 17:06in any way.
- 17:07However,
- 17:08he actually
- 17:09did kill somebody.
- 17:10Um,
- 17:11so I don't know,
- 17:12we're supposed to feel bad for a murderer who's being threatened
- 17:16with the thing he did to a totally innocent person.
- 17:19Right?
- 17:19And of course,
- 17:20too,
- 17:20it's
- 17:20alleged
- 17:21murderer
- 17:22until,
- 17:23uh,
- 17:23until we have this trial,
- 17:24but I mean,
- 17:24it sure looks bad,
- 17:25right?
- 17:26Like
- 17:26whatever their disagreement they had in the tent,
- 17:29alleged,
- 17:29you know,
- 17:29like they had these team tents set up at the track.
- 17:32Uh,
- 17:33area and he was apparently in the wrong,
- 17:36you know,
- 17:36at,
- 17:37at the other team's tent,
- 17:38which would seem as kind of instigating
- 17:41under,
- 17:41uh,
- 17:42I mean,
- 17:42again,
- 17:42we weren't there,
- 17:43I don't know,
- 17:43but
- 17:44that's sure what it seems like if he was there in the other team's tent.
- 17:48And then,
- 17:48OK,
- 17:49if someone tells you to get out.
- 17:51Uh,
- 17:52you don't get to stab them because of that.
- 17:54I don't,
- 17:55you know,
- 17:55I don't really see how you're,
- 17:56you're,
- 17:57they're claiming that his life was in danger.
- 17:59Uh,
- 18:00not really sure how.
- 18:02Uh,
- 18:02they,
- 18:02I don't think the other guys had any weapons that we're aware of.
- 18:06So it's a very odd,
- 18:07and I've seen,
- 18:08you know,
- 18:08articles saying it's a quote unquote,
- 18:10uphill battle,
- 18:11but,
- 18:12uh,
- 18:12it's also bizarre seeing his sort of PR team come out and,
- 18:17Make it seem like he's the victim here.
- 18:19Almost.
- 18:19Yeah,
- 18:19I will say it is a bit of an uphill battle when your client has murdered someone,
- 18:25a young person in cold blood for absolutely
- 18:28no reason whatsoever other than being touched,
- 18:31quote unquote touched.
- 18:33When he dared him,
- 18:34he said,
- 18:34Touch me,
- 18:35you'll find out
- 18:36what's going to happen.
- 18:37You know that did go on.
- 18:38He did wind up stabbing a young man in the chest who's dead.
- 18:43And then they kind of bring out this
- 18:46PR team
- 18:47and spokesperson.
- 18:49The spokesperson,
- 18:50I don't,
- 18:50I don't know if he's helping all
- 18:52that much so far.
- 18:53It seems like a kind of a disaster,
- 18:55doesn't it?
- 18:57Uh,
- 18:57yeah,
- 18:57it really does.
- 18:58And I'm,
- 18:59I'm forgetting this guy's name off the top of my head,
- 19:01but it's,
- 19:01uh,
- 19:02I think it's,
- 19:02uh,
- 19:03Dominique Alexander,
- 19:05Alexander.
- 19:06He's,
- 19:07he's apparently the head of one of these groups,
- 19:09like,
- 19:10like,
- 19:10kind of like a,
- 19:11I don't know,
- 19:12one of these pop-up.
- 19:13Progressive activist groups that like just like
- 19:16Soros funds and gives them $1000 and they,
- 19:19they exist.
- 19:20It's like called the Next Generation Action Network,
- 19:23whatever
- 19:23that is.
- 19:24So he does this press conference and he'd like
- 19:27releases all this stuff like these POV videos of
- 19:29him walking from inside to his car while the
- 19:32press is trying to get an interview with him,
- 19:33just very odd behavior.
- 19:36Well,
- 19:36Metcalf's dad
- 19:37shows up to this press conference that this guy,
- 19:41Dominique Alexander is having with,
- 19:43uh,
- 19:44Uh,
- 19:44with his client and.
- 19:47They kick him out and he calls it disrespectful
- 19:50that the dad was showing up and I'm just,
- 19:52I like trying to wrap my head around this logic.
- 19:55And then,
- 19:56of course,
- 19:57you know,
- 19:57somehow,
- 19:58the guy with a dead son,
- 20:00he's got a dead son.
- 20:02And you're mad at him for showing up,
- 20:04you can't show any
- 20:06sympathy or empathy for this dad who just
- 20:09lost his son because your client stabbed him
- 20:12for absolutely no reason.
- 20:14And,
- 20:15uh,
- 20:16it's just bizarre that they can be this,
- 20:18and again,
- 20:19it makes you
- 20:20wonder,
- 20:20Stu,
- 20:21and we,
- 20:21we've played this game many times,
- 20:23but like,
- 20:23let's play switch the race,
- 20:25and would,
- 20:26would any of these tactics,
- 20:28PR wise be allowed even remotely.
- 20:31If the situation was the melanin counts
- 20:33were reversed on the individuals involved here,
- 20:36yeah,
- 20:36it really is a,
- 20:38it really is shocking to see,
- 20:40and it's funny because like you go through kind of these standard stories,
- 20:43the,
- 20:43you know,
- 20:44look,
- 20:44this is not the first time race is being used to inflame a situation.
- 20:48Um,
- 20:48but usually there's at least a case,
- 20:50right?
- 20:50Like,
- 20:51like,
- 20:51you know,
- 20:51Michael Brown,
- 20:52where he robbed a store and then he wound up attacking a police officer,
- 20:56and there was,
- 20:57there was this argument as to whether he did it and whether he had a hands
- 20:59up don't shoot moment and all this stuff that wound up later on not being true.
- 21:04Um,
- 21:04you know,
- 21:04there was the uh the
- 21:06several of these stories have kind of turned this way.
- 21:08Will there,
- 21:08there will at least be some
- 21:10argument about it.
- 21:12This particular case,
- 21:14there doesn't seem to be one at all.
- 21:15It was a guy who came up to,
- 21:17uh,
- 21:18to,
- 21:18uh,
- 21:19Carmelo Anthony,
- 21:20told him he was in the wrong tent.
- 21:21They kind of had a bit of a disagreement.
- 21:23He said,
- 21:23touch me,
- 21:24and I'll,
- 21:25uh,
- 21:25and you'll see what happens or whatever.
- 21:27He,
- 21:27I guess,
- 21:28touches him kind of like in a,
- 21:29maybe a little bit of a,
- 21:30I'll,
- 21:31I'll do what I want type of thing,
- 21:32but not like a punch,
- 21:33not an assault,
- 21:34nothing like that.
- 21:35No one's even accusing.
- 21:36Um,
- 21:37uh,
- 21:37him of that,
- 21:38Metcalf.
- 21:39And
- 21:39now we're supposed to suddenly turn the man who just stabbed
- 21:43somebody in the heart for no reason into the victim here.
- 21:46I,
- 21:47I,
- 21:47because of his skin color,
- 21:48I can't even follow this.
- 21:50No,
- 21:51and I was shocked that there was a Giveend Go account,
- 21:54and I mean,
- 21:54I haven't looked at it in a few days,
- 21:55but
- 21:56last I looked,
- 21:57it was approaching half a million dollars
- 21:59for this kid,
- 22:00and,
- 22:01and they,
- 22:01they've got him like holed up in a.
- 22:04Upscale gated community there in near Frisco and
- 22:08you know,
- 22:09really nice houses out there and the close to million dollar houses and they,
- 22:12the report was that they might have bought a new car.
- 22:15It's like what is going on here and uh that the sentiment is falling on this side.
- 22:20I mean this is almost.
- 22:22Hamas level stuff where you're like,
- 22:24you know what,
- 22:25I know the Israelites,
- 22:27you know,
- 22:27the Israel lost,
- 22:28you know,
- 22:281500 Jewish people that day,
- 22:30but you know what's really bad,
- 22:32it's what's happening to these Hamas terrorists over here.
- 22:34It's like,
- 22:35uh,
- 22:36it's almost on this level because it's,
- 22:38it's that absurd
- 22:40what this kid did.
- 22:41You,
- 22:41you can't imagine,
- 22:43I mean,
- 22:43you talk about wild west,
- 22:44everyone's worried about the wild west,
- 22:45too.
- 22:46Oh,
- 22:46we can't have guns because of the wild west.
- 22:49That's what this is.
- 22:50I mean this is like,
- 22:51don't touch me.
- 22:52I'm gonna,
- 22:52and then I shoot you or I stab you.
- 22:55You don't get to do that because someone,
- 22:57that's not a life threatening situation if someone gives
- 23:00you a nudge or tells you to get lost and
- 23:02even shoves you,
- 23:03even if they did punch you,
- 23:04you don't get to stab them.
- 23:05Yeah,
- 23:06it's very,
- 23:06very strange,
- 23:07and I,
- 23:07I've noticed,
- 23:07and let me run this theory by you here,
- 23:09Dan.
- 23:10Tell me what you think.
- 23:12Because there seems to be a change.
- 23:13We,
- 23:13we,
- 23:13you know,
- 23:14you used to work here at The Blaze.
- 23:15You worked on Glenn's TV show,
- 23:17and we talked a lot about how the left wing,
- 23:20the liberals in the country
- 23:22always would work very hard to find.
- 23:25The most sympathetic character to carry their torch,
- 23:28right?
- 23:28Like,
- 23:28you know,
- 23:28Rosa Parks is a great example.
- 23:30There was another
- 23:31African American woman,
- 23:32I believe,
- 23:33who was on the bus and had the same experience as Rosa Parks before Rosa Parks,
- 23:37but they didn't make her into the example because she had some,
- 23:40you know,
- 23:40private,
- 23:41you know,
- 23:41I think she was an unwed mother at the time,
- 23:43it was controversial.
- 23:44They wanted to find the perfect person to carry this torch.
- 23:48It seems like they've gone the other direction on this now,
- 23:51where
- 23:52we're seeing people who are suspected MS-13,
- 23:54gang members with accusations of domestic violence.
- 23:57Well,
- 23:57they're going to be the ones that are going to go
- 23:59down and visit and become the torchbearer for illegal immigration.
- 24:03Here's another situation our racial
- 24:06example,
- 24:06the person we're going to hold up as the example
- 24:08in our racist or racial conflicts in this country,
- 24:11is going to be a person who,
- 24:13without any
- 24:14argument at all,
- 24:15just stabbed a young boy for no reason.
- 24:18And they're not even searching for good examples of people
- 24:21who maybe are in tough times to challenge these policies.
- 24:24Now it seems like they'll run to the worst possible examples of people
- 24:27and just
- 24:28give them a full out embrace.
- 24:30Yeah,
- 24:30I feel like we've seen that this is like the laziness factor.
- 24:33I,
- 24:34if I could
- 24:35guess and put the blame on any one major factor that's kind of
- 24:40Shift led to this shift that you're talking about here.
- 24:42It's gotta be social media.
- 24:44Social media has made us as a culture insanely lazy.
- 24:49People just,
- 24:49they,
- 24:50they,
- 24:50now they have their narrative,
- 24:52and they settle into that,
- 24:53and they don't care.
- 24:54They'll just throw anything out there.
- 24:56And we've seen the tribalism get worse and worse and worse,
- 24:59and people will just defend anything.
- 25:01And this is not just a left issue.
- 25:03I think the left is 100 times worse at it.
- 25:05But the right does it too.
- 25:07They'll defend undefensible things on issues.
- 25:10Now,
- 25:10again,
- 25:11the,
- 25:11the major qualifier there is the left,
- 25:13I believe is 100 times more egregious on this phenomenon than the right is.
- 25:18The right has,
- 25:19I feel like been more consistent over the years to their values,
- 25:23um,
- 25:23and trying to
- 25:25stay consistent on those.
- 25:26Whereas I feel like the.
- 25:27The left now,
- 25:28it's completely has jumped the shark and just seems like they,
- 25:31it's like social media in real life.
- 25:33Like people who just scroll,
- 25:34they don't really know the story at all,
- 25:37but share it
- 25:38and it goes viral and then oops,
- 25:41sorry,
- 25:41that story was incorrect.
- 25:43That was a fake meme that I just made up.
- 25:45And then
- 25:46the retweet apology gets like,
- 25:48you know,
- 25:484 tweets.
- 25:49And the other one got like 50 million.
- 25:51So I,
- 25:51I,
- 25:51but I feel like that phenomena on social media now,
- 25:55it's like those people that grew up with this.
- 25:59Are bringing it into real life.
- 26:01Yeah,
- 26:01I think that's true.
- 26:02You notice this on social media a lot where,
- 26:04you know,
- 26:04again we've worked together for a long time.
- 26:06I remember going back to the 2004 election,
- 26:10and that was John Kerry and George W.
- 26:12Bush and
- 26:13The big controversy in that election
- 26:15was John Kerry saying,
- 26:17you know,
- 26:17I actually did vote for the $87 billion
- 26:20before I voted against it.
- 26:21And it was like they put it in every single ad.
- 26:24Like they couldn't believe that someone would have
- 26:27this ridiculous justification and,
- 26:29and kind of flip-flop,
- 26:30and that was kind of the image
- 26:31that was,
- 26:31you know,
- 26:32put on John Kerry with,
- 26:33with good,
- 26:33with good meaning.
- 26:35But like now,
- 26:37you see people,
- 26:37and I see this on the right and the left,
- 26:39where people will support one position.
- 26:42And they will be completely convinced of it.
- 26:44And then 2 days later,
- 26:46whatever
- 26:47mechanism in social media,
- 26:48whether it's leadership from political leaders or whatever,
- 26:52changes,
- 26:53and they just completely flip flop to the other side of the argument,
- 26:57and
- 26:57they're not embarrassed by it at all.
- 26:59It's just normal state of affairs.
- 27:01I mean,
- 27:02we used to joke about this with like Richard Nixon saying like,
- 27:04you know,
- 27:05when we were watching what happened to Bill Clinton and everything else,
- 27:07like,
- 27:07Richard Nixon's got to be rolling in his grave going,
- 27:09really?
- 27:09Like all,
- 27:10all I had to be was in a different era and there's
- 27:12no way I would have had to resign over this thing.
- 27:14I mean,
- 27:14John,
- 27:15I didn't think about John Kerry,
- 27:16but that's a great point.
- 27:17I mean,
- 27:17he's,
- 27:18You know,
- 27:18we had the John Kerry's Waffle House thing going because of that.
- 27:21He
- 27:22would have survived that.
- 27:23I mean,
- 27:23there's no way that
- 27:24that would have been a,
- 27:25a,
- 27:25a massive negative impact on his game.
- 27:27It would have been a blip on the radar,
- 27:29his flip-flopping.
- 27:30On that nobody cares about flip flopping now,
- 27:33so John Kerry's probably sitting there going,
- 27:35Teresa,
- 27:36yeah,
- 27:37yeah I know
- 27:38Teresa,
- 27:39uh,
- 27:39yeah,
- 27:39it's,
- 27:39you're right,
- 27:40it's true because like it must be frustrating for
- 27:42those politicians who had to go through that period
- 27:44because now
- 27:45you're criticized by your own side if you don't flip flop.
- 27:49If you,
- 27:49if you are consistent with the same views that you had 10 years ago,
- 27:52you're all of a sudden the bad guy,
- 27:54you're weak,
- 27:54you're folding to the left or whatever.
- 27:56It's amazing.
- 27:59Yeah,
- 28:00it really is.
- 28:00It's like a loyalty test first before it is,
- 28:02uh,
- 28:03actually,
- 28:04this is what I believe and this is what I don't believe.
- 28:06And like,
- 28:06I look,
- 28:06and this case is no different than others.
- 28:09I kind of
- 28:10call me crazy and old fashioned,
- 28:11Stu,
- 28:12but I kind of like
- 28:14looking for the facts and letting
- 28:16that play out.
- 28:17I don't have allegiance on this case one way or another.
- 28:20I don't know either one of these people.
- 28:22I don't know them.
- 28:23So,
- 28:24Everyone else just wants to take it and say,
- 28:26I think this one fits my agenda,
- 28:28so yay,
- 28:28I'm gonna yell about it.
- 28:29Like,
- 28:30how about we just wait and see for the facts to come in.
- 28:33And then make a judgment.
- 28:34Everyone would rather judge first facts later.
- 28:36And then if the facts don't match up,
- 28:37it's like,
- 28:38uh,
- 28:38we'll move on from that.
- 28:39Yeah,
- 28:39I don't know.
- 28:39You you call me crazy,
- 28:40but like maybe siding with a victim
- 28:42of the murder would be
- 28:44maybe the way to go.
- 28:45I know that's a,
- 28:45it's a crazy thing these days.
- 28:48Amazing.
- 28:48Dan Andros,
- 28:49uh,
- 28:49managing editor,
- 28:50CBN News.
- 28:50Be sure to check him out on the Quick Start podcast,
- 28:52CBN's Quick Start,
- 28:53uh,
- 28:53over on,
- 28:53uh,
- 28:54where,
- 28:54I guess it's wherever you get your podcast,
- 28:55you can get Quick Start.
- 28:56Uh,
- 28:56Dan,
- 28:57thanks so much for coming on the program,
- 28:58man.
- 28:58Appreciate it.
- 28:59All right,
- 28:59thanks,
- 28:59too.
- 29:08Well,
- 29:08the economy has been a bit of a rollercoaster over the past few weeks.
- 29:11Uh,
- 29:12Dow today bouncing back,
- 29:14rallying
- 29:15900 points after Trump softened stance on Powell and China tariffs,
- 29:20actually popped as high as I think 1100 points,
- 29:22then dropped back down to about 600 points up.
- 29:24I'm not sure.
- 29:25I haven't checked in a little while.
- 29:26I'm not sure where it ended up today.
- 29:28Um,
- 29:28but I will say,
- 29:29uh,
- 29:31it's a difficult thing,
- 29:32uh,
- 29:33you know.
- 29:33You know,
- 29:34Glenn is going to be talking to Donald Trump tonight
- 29:35and I'm sure he'll be asking about the economy and,
- 29:37and which,
- 29:38you know,
- 29:38what the long-term plan here is,
- 29:40because I think that's the difficult
- 29:42situation.
- 29:42If you think about yourself of someone who,
- 29:44if you're running a factory and maybe you're producing your stuff over in China,
- 29:47and you're thinking to yourself,
- 29:48you know what,
- 29:48I want to bring this back.
- 29:50I,
- 29:50I'm gonna bring my manufacturing back to the United
- 29:52States or at least a more allied nation.
- 29:55But you don't know what that policy is,
- 29:57and it might be a situation where you need those big tariffs on
- 30:01Chinese competition to be able to afford to build the stuff here.
- 30:05And what happens when you build a factory
- 30:07and you're finally ready to open it
- 30:08and then the policies change,
- 30:10it's impossible for people.
- 30:11to navigate right now.
- 30:12I mean that's the biggest problem.
- 30:13This is why you want these things,
- 30:14you know,
- 30:14if you've gotta do tariffs,
- 30:15you do it over a longer period of time.
- 30:17Trump,
- 30:17uh,
- 30:17one of the things that by the way,
- 30:18made this rally happen today,
- 30:20Trump says tariff on China will come down substantially from 145%,
- 30:25uh,
- 30:25is the headline from The Hill.
- 30:27And I think,
- 30:28you look at that and you say,
- 30:29well,
- 30:30there's lessons to be learned here,
- 30:31I think,
- 30:32uh,
- 30:32you know,
- 30:33if you're gonna do this type of policy,
- 30:34it needs to be kind of a longer term thing that's probably passed through Congress.
- 30:38But also the situation that all these problems that we had
- 30:42probably can reverse themselves relatively quickly if we kind of abandon
- 30:46some of these bigger tariffs and kind of come back to a more,
- 30:51more free trade-like
- 30:52approach.
- 30:53The
- 30:55bumps that we've had in the economy and
- 30:57the market probably do go away relatively quickly.
- 30:59You might say,
- 31:00well,
- 31:00long term those problems wouldn't be solved.
- 31:02We'd still have the same situation.
- 31:04That's probably true,
- 31:05but the short term situation would probably get a lot better,
- 31:09a lot faster.
- 31:09We're seeing that day by day,
- 31:11honestly,
- 31:12as these policies change.
- 31:13So we'll continue to follow it and see what happens.

- 32:31and this is a paid endorsement.
- 32:33My opinions,
- 32:33however,
- 32:34as always,
- 32:35are my own.
- 32:38I'm joined now by Jeff Fisher,
- 32:39Blaze TV host of Chewing the Fat.
- 32:42With Jeff Fisher.
- 32:44Jeffy,
- 32:44welcome.
- 32:45Good to see you.
- 32:46And now,
- 32:46I was thinking of you this week because
- 32:49whenever something happens with the Pope,
- 32:51and the Pope
- 32:52passes away,
- 32:54I always think of you because I think one of the
- 32:56first times I've ever talked to you back in the day,
- 32:59I remember you saying that
- 33:01you did not have to be Catholic to be the Pope
- 33:04and that you were considering running for Pope.
- 33:06I did run for Pope.
- 33:08You did run for Pope.
- 33:09That was before they elected that
- 33:10darn Benedict.
- 33:11Was it really?
- 33:12OK.
- 33:13So it was a little bit later than I'm remembering,
- 33:14but I do remember it was a long time ago.
- 33:15It was a long time ago.
- 33:16And then,
- 33:17uh,
- 33:17they kind of changed the rules and rearranged the thing.
- 33:19So apparently,
- 33:20OK,
- 33:20you gotta be baptized Catholic now to be a Catholic
- 33:23Pope.
- 33:24And,
- 33:25uh,
- 33:25so it seems to be like a really
- 33:28important part of the process.
- 33:29And then,
- 33:29and then.
- 33:31It was at one point anyone could be anyone as long as you were,
- 33:35as long as long as you were Catholic,
- 33:37you could be Pope.
- 33:38Now you gotta be a cardinal.
- 33:40Wait,
- 33:41did they really change the rules in that time period?
- 33:42You have to be a cardinal,
- 33:43or were you,
- 33:44did you always have to be a cardinal?
- 33:45They.
- 33:47Always for a long time,
- 33:48like the last pope to get voted in that wasn't a cardinal was,
- 33:52I don't know,
- 33:53100,
- 33:54200,
- 33:54300 years ago or whatever.
- 33:56But so it's kind of been an unwritten rule.
- 33:58OK,
- 33:58so it is theoretically possible
- 34:01because like it's like when they say Speaker of the House,
- 34:03when they're selecting Speaker of the House,
- 34:04there's always somebody that's like,
- 34:05well,
- 34:06what if we put Donald Trump in or whatever,
- 34:09because you don't technically.
- 34:10Have to be a member of the House.
- 34:12So I'm just speaking,
- 34:12I'm willing to,
- 34:13I'm willing to take over,
- 34:14uh,
- 34:15you know,
- 34:15Francis's job,
- 34:16uh,
- 34:17you know,
- 34:17his funeral is on Saturday.
- 34:18Uh,
- 34:19they start voting,
- 34:20um,
- 34:20either right after that or a few days after,
- 34:22depending on when everybody gets in town and
- 34:25starts glad-handing.
- 34:26If they want to blow the white smoke for me,
- 34:28I'm in.
- 34:29Really,
- 34:29what would you do?
- 34:30What would be your platform?
- 34:31I would turn,
- 34:32uh,
- 34:32the Catholic,
- 34:33uh.
- 34:34The whole Catholicism around.
- 34:37Bring it back to Catholicism.
- 34:38Really make Catholicism great again?
- 34:40Yes.
- 34:40You would do that?
- 34:41I would.
- 34:42I don't think anyone,
- 34:43any Catholic would trust you to do such a thing.
- 34:45In fact,
- 34:45I don't think most of them will let you in their homes.
- 34:49That hurts.
- 34:51That hurts.
- 34:51It does.
- 34:51I'm just saying.
- 34:52It might hurt,
- 34:53but I do think it's accurate.
- 34:54I'm glad I stopped by.
- 34:56Um,
- 34:57I,
- 34:57I,
- 34:57I wanted to,
- 34:58uh,
- 34:58to bring you on because I did a monologue today on,
- 35:01uh,
- 35:01the 2028
- 35:02possibilities,
- 35:03not for Pope,
- 35:04but for the Democratic
- 35:05nomination.
- 35:06I mean,
- 35:06I think people look at this now.
- 35:07I mean,
- 35:08I know there's some people who have this,
- 35:09you know,
- 35:09uh,
- 35:10I want a third term of Donald Trump thing.
- 35:11Setting that aside though,
- 35:13a lot of people are on the,
- 35:14would say JD Vance is the clear leader.
- 35:16I think there's some people saying Ron DeSantiss maybe,
- 35:19there's a few others on,
- 35:20on the right.
- 35:21But the left is in this open field,
- 35:22right?
- 35:23Who do they have?
- 35:24Yeah,
- 35:24ready for this list.
- 35:25I went through it earlier today.
- 35:26Can we bring this list up?
- 35:27I want you to look at this.
- 35:29Um,
- 35:30again,
- 35:30this is the countdown.
- 35:31This,
- 35:31it came from,
- 35:31uh,
- 35:33uh,
- 35:33I can't remember who it was from A.
- 35:35Smith.
- 35:36The Hill.
- 35:37That's right.
- 35:37It was from the Hill.
- 35:38Um,
- 35:38so
- 35:39number 10,
- 35:39Stephen A.
- 35:40Smith.
- 35:40Number 9,
- 35:41Rahm Emanuel.
- 35:42Number 8,
- 35:42Pete Buttigieg.
- 35:43He's still around.
- 35:44Who?
- 35:44Rahm?
- 35:45Yeah,
- 35:45I guess.
- 35:46It's funny because he was like a mayor of Chicago for a while.
- 35:49They shipped him off.
- 35:50He was in,
- 35:50he was,
- 35:51he was in,
- 35:52uh,
- 35:52in the Beltway,
- 35:53and then they shipped him off to Chicago.
- 35:55Yeah,
- 35:55they just kind of shipped him out of there because he was like a,
- 35:57he was an Obama guy.
- 35:58He was a chief of staff for Obama.
- 36:00I don't think there's any.
- 36:01Any,
- 36:02uh,
- 36:02any like desire for him.
- 36:04Buttigieg is falling off.
- 36:05He's now out at number 8.
- 36:06He was kind of one of the higher ones.
- 36:08Uh,
- 36:08it was JB Pritzker,
- 36:09I think was number 7.
- 36:10Again,
- 36:11like some rich.
- 36:12And
- 36:13Pritzker's,
- 36:14first of all,
- 36:14does not look healthy.
- 36:15Let's be honest about it,
- 36:16Jeffy.
- 36:16I know you
- 36:18people know,
- 36:18don't know this about Jeffy maybe that you are fashion,
- 36:21you,
- 36:22but you also are health.
- 36:23I think when people,
- 36:24everything in moderation,
- 36:25Stu,
- 36:25that's my motto.
- 36:26That's my life goal.
- 36:27Totally your life.
- 36:28Live my life.
- 36:29You've lived it that way.
- 36:30JD Prisker doesn't look like he lives.
- 36:31No,
- 36:32he does not.
- 36:33He spends his money.
- 36:34He spends a lot of money on food.
- 36:36And why not?
- 36:37He's a billionaire.
- 36:38Yeah,
- 36:38he can do that.
- 36:38He can do what he wants.
- 36:39Yeah,
- 36:39I,
- 36:39I,
- 36:40I suppose.
- 36:40Who else do we have on the list today?
- 36:41It was number 7 was JB Fritzer.
- 36:43Number 6 was Kamala Harris.
- 36:44Can you imagine if they went back to Kamala?
- 36:46She,
- 36:46they,
- 36:46they,
- 36:47they won't do that,
- 36:48right?
- 36:48I mean,
- 36:48they can't,
- 36:48they can't allow that to happen.
- 36:50She's terrible,
- 36:51will always be terrible,
- 36:52and she,
- 36:53I mean.
- 36:55She left herself
- 36:57scorched earth.
- 36:59I mean,
- 36:59she,
- 36:59there's,
- 37:00what's next for her?
- 37:01Well,
- 37:01when you,
- 37:02when you run for president in her situation,
- 37:04she's a vice president with it doesn't make any impact,
- 37:06right?
- 37:06She runs for president in a situation where everyone's saying,
- 37:09oh,
- 37:09we gotta beat him.
- 37:10It's Donald Trump.
- 37:10He's a Nazi.
- 37:12And then she loses.
- 37:14What,
- 37:14what's next for her?
- 37:15I don't know.
- 37:15You know,
- 37:16they,
- 37:16everybody was talking about her being a governor,
- 37:18right?
- 37:19I don't know that.
- 37:20Why?
- 37:20Why does she want to be a governor?
- 37:22That's a step down from vice president,
- 37:24right?
- 37:24Yeah,
- 37:24I guess,
- 37:25but I mean,
- 37:25it's something for her to do.
- 37:26What else is she gonna do?
- 37:28Just stay home and leave us alone.
- 37:30Yes,
- 37:31please.
- 37:32I mean,
- 37:32part of me is OK with her going to California because
- 37:34then at least I don't have to live in California.
- 37:36That's a choice.
- 37:37Uh,
- 37:38I don't have to go over there.
- 37:39That's a good point.
- 37:39I'm here.
- 37:40As long as she's not governor of
- 37:41Texas.
- 37:42I mean,
- 37:42leave that to the poor people of California to deal with.
- 37:45Maybe,
- 37:46but I mean,
- 37:46I,
- 37:46I just don't see her doing much.
- 37:48Uh,
- 37:48just,
- 37:48just go away,
- 37:49go away.
- 37:50Go be with hubby and bake cookies and pretend like you're happy.
- 37:54Go away.
- 37:54Uh,
- 37:55we have a few more on the list here.
- 37:56Number 45,
- 37:57West Moore.
- 37:58I heard,
- 37:58uh,
- 37:59West,
- 37:59he was the,
- 38:00he was,
- 38:00he's the guy with the lightning bolt,
- 38:02right?
- 38:02He's,
- 38:03I mean,
- 38:03he's just a front runner.
- 38:04Yeah,
- 38:05people seem to like him.
- 38:06Yeah,
- 38:06he,
- 38:06he,
- 38:07uh,
- 38:07he's got a lot of
- 38:08big pub.
- 38:08He's the mayor,
- 38:09uh,
- 38:10governor of Maryland,
- 38:11right,
- 38:11right,
- 38:12right,
- 38:12right.
- 38:12Um,
- 38:12I don't,
- 38:13I mean,
- 38:13honestly,
- 38:13like.
- 38:14There hasn't been a ton that has come.
- 38:16I,
- 38:16I don't think there's been a lot of attacks against him yet,
- 38:18so he's kind of in that,
- 38:19and nobody knows who he is losing er era.
- 38:21Yeah,
- 38:21I don't think there's more of that.
- 38:22The rest of them though,
- 38:22Newsom,
- 38:23he's not good.
- 38:24I don't think Newsome terrible.
- 38:25Newsom's terrible.
- 38:26He's terrible.
- 38:27Why do people even try it?
- 38:28I don't know.
- 38:29I don't know.
- 38:30If you had to pick one off that list,
- 38:31show us that list one more time.
- 38:32AOC,
- 38:32you think she would be the one?
- 38:34Absolutely.
- 38:34No,
- 38:34they're not gonna give it to Shapiro.
- 38:36I mean,
- 38:37I mean,
- 38:37Shapiro would be scarier to me.
- 38:39He's Jewish.
- 38:40Yeah,
- 38:40I know.
- 38:41OK.
- 38:43That is,
- 38:43that's fascinating though.
- 38:44It is really seemingly the only reason that Whitmer,
- 38:47no way,
- 38:47she's a nightmare from Michigan.
- 38:49Uh,
- 38:49AOC is the one.
- 38:51Gosh,
- 38:51that's scary.
- 38:52AOC AOC is the one,
- 38:53and I don't know that she wants to run.
- 38:54I mean,
- 38:54maybe she does,
- 38:55but she wants to,
- 38:57she wants the Senate seat,
- 38:58right?
- 38:58She wants to take Schumer's seat,
- 39:00but she's the Senate seat.
- 39:01Yeah,
- 39:01she would take that.
- 39:02But she,
- 39:02if she could get president,
- 39:03I think she would definitely
- 39:05be all over that,
- 39:05and she would be,
- 39:07people are like,
- 39:07Oh,
- 39:07Trump's a dictator.
- 39:08Wait till you see AOC in action,
- 39:10the Senate
- 39:11for her.
- 39:12I mean,
- 39:12that's
- 39:13That's a position she can win.
- 39:16Yes,
- 39:16I don't,
- 39:17I think realistically
- 39:19she can't win
- 39:20president.
- 39:21Oh God,
- 39:21I hope you're right.
- 39:22I don't know,
- 39:22man.
- 39:23No way.
- 39:24I don't know.
- 39:24I mean.
- 39:26Usually what happens is when you have a president that goes one way,
- 39:29there's the reaction the other way,
- 39:31right?
- 39:31Like you have whatever this person was,
- 39:33like when,
- 39:33when George W.
- 39:33Bush was always criticized about not being able to speak clearly,
- 39:36right?
- 39:36And then you had the slick Barack Obama came in and
- 39:40and then it went to Donald Trump,
- 39:41right?
- 39:41Kind of the opposite,
- 39:42like no longer the slick academic.
- 39:44It was a guy who talked like normal people,
- 39:46right?
- 39:46Yeah,
- 39:47and then,
- 39:48then,
- 39:48you know,
- 39:48Donald Trump was an erratic and crazy chaos.
- 39:50We have to have a return to normalcy with a guy who.
- 39:53You can't figure out,
- 39:54you know,
- 39:55he can't walk and or say complete sentences,
- 39:57but that was his pitch,
- 39:58right,
- 39:58a return to normalcy,
- 39:59this old school guy,
- 40:00and then you have,
- 40:01you go back to Trump.
- 40:02Uh,
- 40:03I,
- 40:03I,
- 40:03I think there is a possibility that people react
- 40:06and go,
- 40:07they wanna go the extreme opposite way,
- 40:09and they see AOC as that person.
- 40:10I mean,
- 40:11she's such an idiot though,
- 40:12it's hard to imagine people would see that.
- 40:16He really is.
- 40:17I mean,
- 40:18she's not as bad as,
- 40:20as,
- 40:20uh,
- 40:21Kamala though.
- 40:24Oh,
- 40:24that's a statement.
- 40:25That's I have to think about that.
- 40:26I had to pause and think about that.
- 40:27I,
- 40:27I mean she's farther,
- 40:28I think she's even farther left than Kamala,
- 40:32or Kamala,
- 40:33but.
- 40:34Man,
- 40:35I don't know.
- 40:35I,
- 40:35I,
- 40:36she,
- 40:36she,
- 40:37she certainly is a,
- 40:38a bigger like
- 40:40celebrity and multimedia force,
- 40:42right?
- 40:42Like she,
- 40:43she's big on social media,
- 40:44she can attract that attention.
- 40:47I mean,
- 40:47if the,
- 40:48look,
- 40:48the country picks her.
- 40:50She's an,
- 40:50uh,
- 40:51I don't know,
- 40:51they're both idiots.
- 40:53But I,
- 40:53I will say this,
- 40:54if this country picks that direction,
- 40:56like you just unplug the machine,
- 40:57right?
- 40:59You put the paper bag,
- 41:00you put a plastic bag over the head of the nation,
- 41:03you turn off the,
- 41:04she's not gonna be JD or
- 41:06uh.
- 41:08Um,
- 41:09DeSantis or one of those guys.
- 41:11Yeah,
- 41:11I mean,
- 41:11I think,
- 41:12and certainly JD Vance is the overwhelming favorite,
- 41:14unless this goes really poorly,
- 41:16right?
- 41:16Like if the Trump administration winds up in some negative position,
- 41:19then maybe JD Vance is hurt by that.
- 41:21But that's what I'm worried about.
- 41:22Like if this goes wrong,
- 41:24like we have another financial crisis or something like that,
- 41:28they're gonna pick the Democrat and she's got a shot to win that primary,
- 41:31AOC.
- 41:32That's terrifying,
- 41:33Jeffy.
- 41:34Yes,
- 41:34she does.
- 41:35That's why you just wanna wake up Friday morning,
- 41:38Stu,
- 41:38and look up at the sky and
- 41:40see the smiley face in the sky.
- 41:425:30 a.m. we're gonna have Saturn and Venus and the moon,
- 41:46and it's gonna look like a smiley face in the sky.

- 41:52I don't follow astrology as closely as you.
- 41:54They're gonna line up in the sky like a smiley face.
- 41:57Yes,
- 41:57and then everything will be OK.
- 42:00Is that what we're supposed to believe?
- 42:01Everything will be OK.
- 42:03There you go.
- 42:03So what time does this happen again?
- 42:04Uh,
- 42:045:30 Eastern time,
- 42:07uh,
- 42:07in the sky.
- 42:08Look up
- 42:09and,
- 42:10uh,
- 42:10toward the moon you'll see it,
- 42:11and you'll see the moon is what the,
- 42:13it's a crescent smiley face,
- 42:14crescent,
- 42:14and you'll see that Saturn and Venus,
- 42:17and it'll look like a smiley face,
- 42:18and that's when you'll know too.
- 42:20Everything's gonna be OK.
- 42:21OK,
- 42:22see,
- 42:22Jeffy's soothing you.
- 42:23Everything's gonna be OK.
