- 0:00SPEAKER_00: It's showtime.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: AI Made Simple.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: Why are we here?
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: It's because I want to help you think about artificial intelligence in the right way.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: I want you to be able to take advantage of it and get all of the benefits without losing your mind, without feeling confused.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: And that's why you're here.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: And uh so today we're talking about your business needs a self-driving mode.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Where does that come from?
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Well, recently I was in the Philippines and I was in Manila, and I was in the traffic in Manila.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Luckily, I was in the backseat of a Grab, which is a version of Uber.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: And I didn't have to drive in that confusion, but let me tell you, it was um it was impressive, the amount of traffic, if not terrifying, that um these drivers navigate through.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: And you have folks that are they're in air-conditioned vehicles, they're in uh Jeepneys.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: Brought this back.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: One of my virtual assistants gave this to me, the golden jeepney.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: And these are open air, these are old leftover World War II Jeeps that have been reconfigured in all sorts of extravagant ways, and people hop into these and they ride in that same traffic.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: Open air, whether it's raining, whether it's hot, whether it's windy.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: And then there's all these people on these little scooters, uh, two people most of the time on these little scooters, and they're they're just navigating around, and it seems like there's no there's no rules that are being followed.
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: It's just amazing how all this traffic merges, merges, merges, whatever that word means, merges, and then navigates through, crosses roads, goes through intersections.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: It's crazy and amazing and impressive.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: And yet, this traffic exists in El Salvador, this traffic exists in um in every every major uh city around the world.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: This people moving through chaos.
- 2:19SPEAKER_00: And and so I was sitting there driving, and all of a sudden, this Tesla goes by, and the guys, the guy sitting in the car is uh just sitting there, and the that Tesla is navigating through that traffic.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: And I I was struck by that example.
- 2:37SPEAKER_00: He didn't have his hands on the steering wheel, and I'm going, that is crazy.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: But the truth is, we are in a a time when that's not crazy.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: I got me I received this email just before the show, and it says, you know, meet full self-driving, supervised, and it shows the the Tesla car there going through, and you can see in that image, you know, it's looking, it's showing you that the robot, the AI robot that is this car, is uh watching the road, and it can take you almost anywhere.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: You just enter your destination, activate full self-driving, supervised with the asterisk, and let your Tesla do the driving under your active supervision.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: And that's exactly my point today is if this exists in an environment of chaos whereby a robot can move you through chaos, this traffic that exists in every city, and it is 54% safer than a human driver, and you get this automatic navigation, and it's beyond human vision.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: It says here the cameras don't blink, feel tired, or get distracted with 360-degree visibility.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: Your Tesla can see everything that you see and more.
- 4:14SPEAKER_00: It has your blind spots covered too.
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: And if that is a truth in our world today, they they just launched this actual the actual cyber cab moment happened in Austin this recent week.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Well, what does that mean?
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: It means that you get in a cyber cab, and guess what it doesn't have?
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: It doesn't have a steering wheel, and it doesn't have brakes.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: You just get in it, tell it where you want to go, and away you go, you reach your destination safer, less stress, and an amazing experience that used to be this this Jetson expectation, but now it is reality.
- 4:57SPEAKER_00: And my point today is that reality exists for your business.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: You just need to think about it and you need to start positioning the various aspects of your work to exploit this capability.
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: If a AI robot, a virtual robot can drive a car through the physical world more successfully, more safer, then a AI virtual robot in your business can do the same thing, and it can be more impactful and get you there safer.
- 5:41SPEAKER_00: Think about it.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Those folks that are in that traffic that I in Manila, for example, or in El Salvador, I was recently there.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: This is a common story.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: People go through that traffic for two hours on the way to work on average, and two hours back home.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: So four hours of their day is spent in traffic.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: Stop and go, frustrating.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: And if you think about it, many times in your business, your most valuable people are stuck in a version of stop and go traffic in your business every day.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: And it's not effective, it's not efficient, and it slows down your progress, it inhibits your competitive advantage, it inhibits you getting your customers handled.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: And so when we think about moving from driving to deciding, here's the thing: we have these four layers in business.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Layer one is the human expert.
- 6:44SPEAKER_00: They know they can focus on judgment, taste, relationships, and ultimately accountability for winning, if they're not having to have their hands on the steering wheel and doing the execution.
- 6:57SPEAKER_00: It's like texting and driving.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: You know, there's all these uh stats that you you know you've been hit with that you know, this what do they call it, contact switching, where you you're in the middle of flow and then you get interrupted and you have to do this, and then it takes you a time to get back into flow.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: That's that's what going through this traffic jam is for your team's mental experience.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: So layer three is the driving.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: Where's layer two?
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: So layer two would be your dedicated, uh valuable employee.
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: He's able to focus on the things that they want to do.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: But we'll go through these here.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: So let's bring it to the stage.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Hey, by the way, if you're getting value from this, I do this every week.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: Like, subscribe, even if your name is Robert Brown, hit the like button down below and like it so it tells more people that this is valuable.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: So let's go back to the first here.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: So think about your business can be constructed to be simple simply like the cyber cab.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: If you were to take away the steering wheel in your business and your so that your passengers, your team, your employees, your customers, they can start driving to the destination, to the vision, to the to the wind, to the end zone, and let these other things take care of all the minutiae, then it would be amazing.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: And it is amazing for those that are doing it.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: So your best operators, your best team, your most valuable people that are best in front of your customers, that are best in front of your prospects.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: Guess what they're having to do every day?
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: They're having to draft emails or hunting files or reformatting decks, they're making all of these high-stakes judgments call all at the same time.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: We call it hustle, but it's not.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: That's a distracted driver with your revenue of your business in the seat.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: So you have a distractive executive.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: They're having a draft search and format that's impacting their focus when they should be focusing and spending time and judgment.
- 9:30SPEAKER_00: Your ICP relationships, your open web is scattered files.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: You should have a closed system with your institutional knowledge that's being drawn from.
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: You've got rust drafts between meetings, and so you should have perfected communication assets, and then texting and driving.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: That you know, it's deciding and the destination instead of driving.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: And so when we think about how do we how do we start to transform our business into being a more of a cyber cab in a way, where the your AI is doing the best things for it, your valuable people that are doing their best things, then we stop thinking about job jobs, descriptions as massive blobs of everything.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: We have to break it into layers.
- 10:29SPEAKER_00: Okay, layer one is your destination.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: That takes a human expert.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: You know, they know what winning looks like, and they're able to tell the GPS where you want to go because they know your ideal customer profile, they know your service, they know your products, they know these things and why it's a good thing.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: They should be deciding the destination in the GPS.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: That's your vision, that's your mission.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Layer two is navigation.
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: These priorities, root adjustments, midstream quality calls, coaching the work, catching exceptions.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: That's where your specialists, your high-value employees can come in and keep you out of the ditch.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: They can spend time on those things that require a lot of judgment, a lot of backstory, a lot of knowledge and experience and interaction.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: The driving, that's where you can use the show was talked about.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: We've been focusing on Gemini Notebook and how to use it to supervise your execution, do your research, do your briefing, your planning, your meeting summaries, your initial drafts, that's where your knowledge base is.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: And then layer four, your PIC crew using automation and AI to do your filing, expense loggings, your CRM hygiene, formatting and status updates.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: So oftentimes you're paying your expert rates to change the oil.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: If your top closers is spending time doing your layer three and your layer four work, your business is hemorrhaging high-leverage energy and money on low-leverage tasks.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: You're wasting their time, and that's that's not fulfilling for them.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: It's frustrating and it slows them down.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: And so when we think about having a supervised, self-driven business or self-driving engine, and if we want to look at it in the model of Gemini Notebook, then here's the breakdown.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: The supervisor is you, Gemini Notebook's engine, and then you have your zones one, two, and three.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Okay, so you have three distinct zones.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: So your first zone, note Gemini Notebook, where you have a source area.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: This operates as a closed system.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: It pulls from your approved sources, your discovery call transcripts, your internal standard operating procedures, your product documentation, your client case studies.
- 13:04SPEAKER_00: It doesn't pull from the general web, it pulls from all the things.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: You know, when you bring someone on and they become a new employee, they don't know everything.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: It takes them generally a year to understand your business, your customers, your products, your services, how we operate, why we operate.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: And this is a shortcut.
- 13:25SPEAKER_00: When you bring all of that, all of these uh documents into your source, your knowledge base, your source of truth, all of a sudden you've leapfrogged this particular AI employee up to speed immediately.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: Because basically, I'm boarding a new employee or orientation.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: We've talked about and shown you that Gemini Notebook has three areas.
- 13:55SPEAKER_00: That's where your business truth lives, that's where you upload it.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: Your zone two, that's your chat area.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Think of it as your internal internal boardroom and brainstorming area.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: This is where you sit and you discuss and you're meet your meeting and you're um brainstorming and going through all sorts of iterations and back and forth with an AI robot that is only looking at this data unless you allowed it to go off campus and bring uh other data back in.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: But this is where you're basically having a board meeting with your AI robot.
- 14:32SPEAKER_00: And then this zone three, that's the studio area in Gemini Notebook, and it's your virtual creative team and GPS.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: So, for example, this this slideshow was created in minutes today in this area.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: I uploaded the source docs, I had a conversation with it, and then it designed this presentation for me.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: And so, from raw data to perfected asset, you bring in your source input, you chat with it, and you take the studio output.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: And so, your new division of labor, when you think about this and you're putting Gemini Notebook or an AI robot, they could call them robots or AI agent or bots.
- 15:19SPEAKER_00: When you bring them in and you start to do this, then you're placing yourself, you're freeing yourself to be in the decide area.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: And therefore, you can direct and it can do, okay?
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: Do and document.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: And so that's why we want to think about this.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: You think about how significant this moment is when I think this is people are are it's not sinking in immediately, but it will.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: But think about it.
- 15:53SPEAKER_00: You can get in a vehicle, and the data shows it's 54% safer than a human driver, meaning it took the driver out of the seat, it takes you there safer, more efficiently, and and this thinking, once it settles in, that thinking also needs to settle into how you're running your business.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: All this technology is available, all this uh AI implementation is available, and if one is to think about it differently, you can achieve this.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: If this is a truth in the physical world, it is a truth that can be accomplished in your business.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: And so that's why we call it AI Made Simple.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: Look, Elon made this simple to drive.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: Once people get in there and do it, they don't want to drive themselves.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: You know, you you think about how risky it is to drive, but we just used to it.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Well, it's risky to run a business, but we're just used to it.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: And if we neglect to take advantage of the technology that exists, you're missing out.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: It's a competitive advantage.
- 17:04SPEAKER_00: It um increases your success.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: You started your business, you put this everything on the line, right?
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: And it's you asked to be um you asked to be measured in the most competitive environment ever designed, and that is business.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we we think about the oh, the NFL players, they're so talented.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: Oh, there's NBA players, they're so talented.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: No, they just practice specific plays over and over and over until they get naturally good, right?
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: And then what do they have?
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: They have refs that are calling when something's not fair, they blow the whistle and they they apply a penalty.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: But in business, you don't get to practice, practice, practice all the known plays because every play is not known.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: And there's no ref other than your customer, whether they want to pay you or not.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: So stop winging it.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: Let's get our act together, get a plan together, and follow this little protocol and use Gemini Notebook to do it.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: Hey, my name's Steve Brown.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: If you're getting value from this, be sure to like and subscribe.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: Reach out if you need something.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: We got a little QR code, it's got my resources.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: I got a great uh newsletter that goes out every week.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: And this little lesson is soon to be courses on the way.
- 18:27SPEAKER_00: AI made simple.
- 18:29SPEAKER_00: And that's a wrap.
