- 0:00Speaker 1: No, you can't. It's one more thing. I'm one more thing.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I'll get here. You sound like I can't do Guy
- 0:08Speaker 1: to me, I'll get to know you can out of
- 0:10Speaker 1: the way really quick before we do a couple other things.
- 0:12Speaker 1: I just saw this survey. One in fifty men say
- 0:19Speaker 1: they could outrun a horse. No you can't, you cannot.
- 0:26Speaker 2: I mean, like, what is it? The regular four legged kind?
- 0:30Speaker 1: So that's basically one in fifty men have no concept
- 0:33Speaker 1: of what a horse is or like or I mean,
- 0:35Speaker 1: I know what it is, but they've never been around
- 0:38Speaker 1: one at all.
- 0:39Speaker 3: We're round all of them up and have them try.
- 0:43Speaker 2: I'm some really fleet footed seventeen year old growing up
- 0:47Speaker 2: in the Bronx. Yeah, maybe I think that okay about
- 0:50Speaker 2: a horse they've just seen there's horse face, John Carroll.
- 0:58Speaker 1: How did that factory? I'm confused.
- 1:03Speaker 2: That's a stretch, Michael stretch.
- 1:05Speaker 1: We got a lovely tale of of love coming up
- 1:11Speaker 1: in just a second. But before we get to that,
- 1:13Speaker 1: here's a dude talking to his wife.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Block all of his accounts.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Literally, I don't care block him.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I know his intentions he has with you.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You don't understand how guy's brains work and he's not
- 1:27Speaker 1: just a friend.
- 1:27Speaker 2: He likes you. You don't need to explain it to him,
- 1:31Speaker 2: don't need to open up the door for conversations accounts.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You don't have to block Spence that he never even
- 1:36Speaker 1: checks that one.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I don't care block it because of you.
- 1:40Speaker 1: I don't care block him.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I love you for.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Us doing this for us. I don't understand these things
- 1:50Speaker 1: how they're recorded and to what, to what extent they're performative.
- 1:54Speaker 3: But she had like snot coming out, ripping out.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Of her nose was set. Yeah, so as a guy
- 2:01Speaker 1: making a one his wife block a guy friend saying
- 2:03Speaker 1: you don't know how guys work. He likes you, which
- 2:08Speaker 1: is the entire premise of the very famous When Harry
- 2:11Speaker 1: met Sally. Yes, is when a guy is like being
- 2:15Speaker 1: nice to you as a girl. You girls think you're
- 2:17Speaker 1: just friends. You're not friends. He's hoping he's gonna somehow
- 2:19Speaker 1: end up sleeping with you and that's why he's friends
- 2:23Speaker 1: with you, which is true like ninety eight percent of
- 2:26Speaker 1: the time.
- 2:27Speaker 3: But that's up to the chick.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Sure see, that's that I was going to say, we've
- 2:32Speaker 2: moved on to the theme I would like to judge
- 2:34Speaker 2: Harshley First, the question is guy helping his woman understand
- 2:41Speaker 2: how guys really work, which is one thing, but being
- 2:44Speaker 2: like really controlling and abusive. I really got an uncomfortable
- 2:52Speaker 2: vibe out of that.
- 2:53Speaker 4: I did not like the way that he handled that
- 2:54Speaker 4: at all. It's one thing if she is buying into
- 2:57Speaker 4: it and flirting or if they're sending messages. But if
- 3:00Speaker 4: that's actually just her guy friend, it doesn't matter if
- 3:03Speaker 4: he likes her or not. It's based off of her actions.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Sure, yeah, yes, set proper boundaries and then if you
- 3:08Speaker 2: want to exchange dog pictures, exchange him. Yeah, you know
- 3:11Speaker 2: if he ever gets inappropriate to the stiff arm and
- 3:14Speaker 2: we move on with our lives. Yeah, that felt very
- 3:17Speaker 2: controlling and sick to me.
- 3:19Speaker 3: I'm doing this for us, suck it.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And the lady blubbering I love you, even as he's
- 3:27Speaker 2: no that. No. I tell you what, if I witnessed
- 3:29Speaker 2: that and one of my daughters, I would go back
- 3:31Speaker 2: the next time with a gun and have a talk
- 3:34Speaker 2: with the young fella. Yeah, holy crap, that was not
- 3:37Speaker 2: nearly as novel as I thought it would be.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Amusing, This is nice, though, h this is love. Identical
- 3:45Speaker 1: twin brothers just wed identical twin sisters in double nuptials.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I'm looking at the picture. The two women and the
- 3:54Speaker 1: two dudes look exactly alike. Is really the key to
- 3:57Speaker 1: the whole identical twin thing. They wore a match, of course,
- 4:00Speaker 1: tuxedos and wedding dresses. They got married in the same
- 4:03Speaker 1: place at roughly the same time, and back to back.
- 4:07Speaker 2: He was everybody, raise your hand the minute you start
- 4:10Speaker 2: to feel creepy. Huh too late.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Each of the two brothers was the other brother's best man.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Each of the two women was the other woman's bridesmaid.
- 4:21Speaker 2: You know, been really funny if the brothers a great, Yeah,
- 4:24Speaker 2: we're each other's best men, and the one girl says,
- 4:27Speaker 2: and you're you're my maid of honor.
- 4:29Speaker 1: The other girl says, you know, Catherine's my maid of honor.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I got a Rikatherine and I have been besties for
- 4:36Speaker 2: a long time, So would it be cool if?
- 4:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a I think it's a nice story. I
- 4:43Speaker 1: mean it is. But they really took a long way,
- 4:47Speaker 1: no doubt about it. They answered a couple of questions
- 4:50Speaker 1: right off the bat that everybody has. They never have
- 4:52Speaker 1: trouble telling the other person apart. So they don't ever
- 4:56Speaker 1: like to get confused.
- 4:59Speaker 4: The girls look a little different. The guys are very
- 5:04Speaker 4: close in looks.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Okay, you want cynical, here's cynical. They all got together
- 5:11Speaker 2: and said, you know, if we play this up, we
- 5:12Speaker 2: can get everything paid for for both of our weddings.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Get out of my head. That's exactly what I was thinking.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And maybe for kids or all kinds of different things.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Katie is my daughter from another mother, because this is
- 5:27Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 5:31Speaker 1: After a few years of dating, in June, the brothers
- 5:34Speaker 1: decided it was time to propose. They did it on
- 5:36Speaker 1: the same day, one minute apart.
- 5:39Speaker 2: See that's just that's creepy. I don't I don't have
- 5:43Speaker 2: to keep the theme going.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Now those guys could.
- 5:53Speaker 4: The guys could absolutely switch places if they wanted to.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Just letting you know they have.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Let's go to the golf store and get exact actually
- 6:00Speaker 2: the same kind of golf clubs, and we'll all tee
- 6:02Speaker 2: off at the same time. And then if you've got
- 6:05Speaker 2: two shots less than me intentionally at the eighteenth hole,
- 6:08Speaker 2: you've got to have two extra shots. And oh, come on,
- 6:12Speaker 2: I've never been an identical twin. But it all gets
- 6:14Speaker 2: a little feeling creepy to me.
- 6:16Speaker 1: After the double wedding, both couples embarked on a double
- 6:19Speaker 1: honeymoon cruise to Mexico. Stop it on. They had rooms
- 6:23Speaker 1: on opposite sides of the ship so they could get
- 6:25Speaker 1: a little bit of separation, but they did plenty of
- 6:27Speaker 1: things together here here, let me take it another step.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You ready for another step on that? Well, and they
- 6:32Speaker 1: got their whole honeymoon paid for it. Go on, you
- 6:34Speaker 1: want to want another step on this crazy ride.
- 6:36Speaker 2: They impregnated their wives on the same night.
- 6:38Speaker 4: And this they're they're both having the bay. The girls
- 6:42Speaker 4: are having twins, and it's just gonna keep going.
- 6:45Speaker 1: The twin couples now live in adjacent apartments, so they
- 6:50Speaker 1: live side by side and apartments in Goodyear, Arizona. The
- 6:53Speaker 1: sisters are both pharmacy techs at the same CBS, and
- 6:58Speaker 1: the brothers are both studying film at Huntington University at Arizona.
- 7:02Speaker 3: I hate this whole story, me too.
- 7:06Speaker 1: The two couples now lead the same church youth group
- 7:08Speaker 1: where they met.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I've got to admit that there is an interesting topic
- 7:13Speaker 2: here to put aside all the cutesy about how twins
- 7:18Speaker 2: identical twins they have a bond that is difficult to
- 7:21Speaker 2: understand having just stated together. And you know, if you
- 7:25Speaker 2: believe there is any sort of connection between people of
- 7:30Speaker 2: you know, electrical nature or hormonal or whatever, it's just
- 7:34Speaker 2: that fascinates me. The idea of it being joined that
- 7:38Speaker 2: closely to another person since before you were you know, born.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Doesn't mean you both need to be pharmacy texts at
- 7:46Speaker 1: the same CBS and live next door to each other
- 7:48Speaker 1: the rest of your life.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Like, what if one of the twin sisters can't stand her,
- 7:52Speaker 4: you know, her sister's dude, you don't have to run.
- 7:56Speaker 3: You know this is doesn't.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Want to at one point want to get a different
- 7:59Speaker 1: hair styles because they have the same hairstyles.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, well, and as do the guys. And they're
- 8:06Speaker 2: all dressed the same and all of it. I mean,
- 8:08Speaker 2: because I've read a fair number of studies of twins this, that,
- 8:10Speaker 2: and the other. There's not like one hundred percent correlation
- 8:13Speaker 2: in your preferences, your enthusiasms.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Of course, dressing the same is cute when they're like children.
- 8:22Speaker 2: For a little while. I'll tell you what I'm I
- 8:25Speaker 2: am such a flaming individualist. If I'd had I think,
- 8:29Speaker 2: and the wife gets a vo too. If I'd had
- 8:31Speaker 2: identical twins, it'd be fairly early in their lives where
- 8:35Speaker 2: I would encourage them to look, you do you You
- 8:40Speaker 2: guys don't have to be the same. Don't feel pressure
- 8:42Speaker 2: to do that. You find your life. You find your life,
- 8:45Speaker 2: and to whatever extent they overlapped, it's great, but you're
- 8:48Speaker 2: not expected to.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Uh. Buddy of mine in high school, his sisters were
- 8:55Speaker 1: identical twins, and I mean they were so identical he
- 8:58Speaker 1: would have to like he would have to walk up
- 9:00Speaker 1: in front of him and look at him for a
- 9:01Speaker 1: couple of seconds to figure out which one was weird. Yeah,
- 9:04Speaker 1: he did, and like for the rest of us, there
- 9:06Speaker 1: was no chance. I mean, we just had no idea. Always.
- 9:08Speaker 4: I had a couple of friends like that growing up,
- 9:10Speaker 4: and they were they were always together, so I would
- 9:12Speaker 4: always just yell one of their names to see which
- 9:14Speaker 4: one turned around.
- 9:14Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, okay, there you are.
- 9:16Speaker 1: I would think at some point, because a lot of
- 9:18Speaker 1: how you look as you get older is life choices,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I would think unless you ate and exercised exactly the same,
- 9:25Speaker 1: you'd start to drift apart in your looks at some point.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Like one he eats more crap than the other one,
- 9:31Speaker 1: or exercises more than the other one. I would think
- 9:33Speaker 1: smokes or whatever, But maybe you don't, yeh. At some
- 9:35Speaker 1: point that's a good story, huh. Charming? Nope, so you
- 9:38Speaker 1: think it was. So you think it's mostly a fabricated
- 9:42Speaker 1: some sort of trying to get a reality show. But
- 9:45Speaker 1: they get a reality show. In fact, how would you
- 9:47Speaker 1: not stick a camera in there and follow him around.
- 9:50Speaker 2: For a well, and the fact that both the lads
- 9:52Speaker 2: are film school guys. The one the pharmacy texts are
- 9:56Speaker 2: going to be supporting the family number two. Yeah, there
- 10:01Speaker 2: could be something going on there. I just, you know what,
- 10:03Speaker 2: it's funny. It reminds me of the fake dire Wolf
- 10:06Speaker 2: story we did during the radio show. I just it's
- 10:10Speaker 2: cutesy stuff for people who don't think, and you're probably
- 10:14Speaker 2: happier than me. People who take that in say, wow,
- 10:18Speaker 2: that's amazing, And that's your only reaction to.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It, right, I shouldn't that should disparage you.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I wish you nothing, but you know, health and happiness.
- 10:26Speaker 1: But one out of one out of eighty guys believes
- 10:31Speaker 1: he can lift a bear over his head. Just saw
- 10:33Speaker 1: that statistic.
- 10:35Speaker 2: No you can't, well a full grown bear, no you can't.
- 10:38Speaker 2: That's full number one. How I where do you grab
- 10:41Speaker 2: the thing? All right? Stupid? I was crazy in love
- 10:45Speaker 2: with a twin in high school or one, you know,
- 10:47Speaker 2: but she just wanted me as a friend and so yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 2: friend zone, the friend zone.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Well, I guess that's it.
