Nazir Ward Heads to Syracuse | Syracuse Orangemen Football News
Nazir Ward, a three-star defensive back from Miami Northwestern High, is transferring to Syracuse as a redshirt junior, poised to shift to safety in a loaded secondary. After a solid 2023 season at Western Kentucky — where he tallied 34 tackles, 1 interception, and 6 pass breakups — Ward joins a quartet of Miami Northwestern alumni headed to Syracuse, including Tedarius Hughes, Darius Johnson, and Calvin Russell, all aiming to make an impact in the Orange’s defense.
