- 0:00Hey, everybody, it's Jeff. We wanted to let you know we recorded
- 0:03this podcast episode on Friday, January nineteenth, twenty twenty four. By the
- 0:07time you hear this, some things may have changed here or there, not
- 0:10necessarily within the topics we're going to be discussing, but if it does,
- 0:14we hope you enjoy the show. All right, everybody, welcome to Table
- 0:39Talk here at the Philadelphia Sports Table podcast show, the longest running weekly Philly
- 0:43sports podcast show in the world, that's right over ten and a half years
- 0:45strong. Hope your twenty twenty four is going well. Twenty twenty four is
- 0:50going pretty well for me right now. Very much appreciate being in your ears,
- 0:55and we hope you enjoy this Table Talk interview. This week, we're
- 0:58stepping outside the box of the world of Philly sports and we're getting into a
- 1:03subject matter that we have discussed on this podcast platform in the past. In
- 1:07fact, the guests that we are gonna be talking to in just a minute,
- 1:11she's been on before. And I really wanted to kind of again just
- 1:15step outside the box of the world of actually talking about sports and talk about
- 1:19something that I'm very passionate about in terms of content creation and the artistic world
- 1:26and how it correlates with sports, and that is photojournalism, sports photography and
- 1:32what it actually means to us sports fans as we read articles online, as
- 1:38we actually see the visual of what sports is, and photojournalism from the sports
- 1:44photography side of things really really is something that's in our face a lot that
- 1:49we don't necessarily realize. So anyway, I'm gonna stop talking right now because
- 1:53I want to get to our guest this week. She's fantastic. Like I
- 1:57said, we've had her on before it let's get right to it. It
- 1:59is great right having her back on the podcast. As I said in the
- 2:02intro, there you know it's it's it's interesting to talk about this particular subject
- 2:07matter for me as a content creator outside of this podcast as well, but
- 2:14to really talk about sports photography photo journalism, we wanted to bring back a
- 2:20lady who used to be behind the glass for the Philadelphia Flyers taking great shots
- 2:25of that team, and she has since moved on to Phoenix, Arizona taking
- 2:30great shots on the court. Now for the Phoenix Suns and Mercury, we've
- 2:34got the one and only Kate Freeze. How you doing Kate. Hey,
- 2:37Jeff, it's great to be back. It's nice to talk to people from
- 2:40back home always, as you know, been out here two years and I'm
- 2:45still homesick and trying to shake that. So it's nice. It's nice to
- 2:47connect with people from back home when I can. Well, thank you for
- 2:51jumping on. Do you miss being Do you miss being behind the glass at
- 2:53the Wells Fargo Center? Yeah? I really do miss Philadelphia. Coming out
- 2:58here was one of those tough decisions where I knew I was giving up everything,
- 3:02you know that I love to come here and kind of like chase my
- 3:06dreams and pursue, you know, a career change and things like that that
- 3:09I hope will grow and maybe even bring me back to Philly someday, who
- 3:14knows. But I miss Philadelphia. I miss the teams, I miss the
- 3:17fans, I miss the food, everything all the above. Well, we
- 3:22definitely miss seeing you at the Wells Fargo Center every now and again, for
- 3:24sure, And I do miss those shots of this Flyers team. But I
- 3:30love your I love your sports photography and I always have, and I think
- 3:35it's such an underrated aspect of sports in general. When you talk about photojournalism
- 3:43or when people try to understand photojournalism. Actually, the fact of the matter
- 3:46is, I don't think a lot of people take the time to understand photojournalism,
- 3:49sports photography and what it means to the sports world that we all love
- 3:53so much. And you know, the last time we talked, right before
- 3:57your move to Arizona, you'd been doing a ton of sports photography and photojournalism
- 4:00the Philly sports market for many years, as we've mentioned, And I'm wondering,
- 4:04like, since your move to Arizona here, you know, I'm wondering
- 4:09if you can get into the differences between the Philly sports market and the Arizona
- 4:13market in terms of the fan basis. I'd really like to get your opinion
- 4:16on that. Yeah, I mean, it's it's one of those things where
- 4:20I think it's like a definite like bias, like being like where I grew
- 4:25up my family, being from you know, Philly and the Philly area,
- 4:29being a diehard Philly fan that is like my first love. And it's kind
- 4:32of like it's interesting coming to a different market because I think I haven't been
- 4:39giving like Phoenix fans enough of like credit and like enough because I'm just like
- 4:43I love I know who I am at heart, and nothing can compare to
- 4:46Philly fans, and I think you just have to kind of reframe it in
- 4:50the way that every fan base kind of has their own thing about them,
- 4:55and it's about your own personality and like where you kind of fit in with
- 4:59that. For me, I have like a tougher personality and I'm a little
- 5:01bit blunt and crass sometimes, so I fit in with like the Philly crowds.
- 5:04So coming out here to Phoenix where everyone is just so kind and welcoming
- 5:11and like West Coast versus East Coast vibe, it was. It's different,
- 5:15but they're kind of like unique and great in their own way, and there's
- 5:19definite egal passion. I think one thing that I can identify with Phoenix fans
- 5:25is the frustration and lack of sports titles and championships and things like that,
- 5:32and long droughts between them. I think that like Phoenix and Philadelphia, people
- 5:38can kind of relate with each other and connect on that, so you can
- 5:41come yeah exactly, it's like united suffering. Yeah I like to put it,
- 5:47but that just makes them passionate in their own kind of way. Like
- 5:53you know, when the Diamondbacks like went to the World Series and just seeing
- 5:57the city light up and and things like that, you kind of felt like
- 6:00a little glimpse of like Philly. And I mean you can't can't compare it
- 6:03to like their intensity with it, but you see their expression and their own
- 6:08way of excitement when they finally, you know, get to a championship.
- 6:12But of course they didn't win, So I know how that feels, you
- 6:16know, after last Eagles season, and I wasn't at the game when it
- 6:20was here, but watching it in town was just like, well, I
- 6:25know how like everyone feel. Yeah, absolutely, yeah, absolutely well,
- 6:30I mean just talking about the fan base too. I kind of wanted to
- 6:33like shift like from an athlete standpoint too, like this before we get into
- 6:38sports photography and things like that, because I'm I'm genuinely interested. I remember
- 6:42one of the last conversations we had where we actually, you know, got
- 6:45into some of the Flyers players that you used to you know, be around
- 6:47a lot, you know, and being you know, in the hallways and
- 6:50being outside the locker room and things like that. You know, you get
- 6:53to know certain players and certain athletes, and I'm wondering if you can share
- 6:56your thoughts on maybe some of the athletes you don't have to like name them
- 7:00or anything like that, but who are playing out there in Arizona, Because
- 7:03so often I've heard that athletes playing in certain cities will use the phrase,
- 7:08you know, you know so and so and so and so city is not
- 7:11like Philadelphia at all. You know, we hear that a lot our professional
- 7:15athletes. Attitudes and even demeanor that much different in Philly than in Arizona.
- 7:20Do you think, and if so, how Yeah? I think it's I
- 7:26think what it comes down to is the athlete and their personality and where kind
- 7:31of that fits with what city they're in. I mean, you have to
- 7:34think about, like what better city for a player like Bryce Harper than to
- 7:41be. And I feel like he's really kind of, like, you know,
- 7:44made Philly his home and his personality. He's really he can be feisty,
- 7:47so he fits with that kind of crowd. And that can be said
- 7:50about so many other different athletes in the Philly area, and I think that
- 7:54also speaks to Phoenix. I know that there have been players on the Suns
- 8:00that have been traded to other markets and they like catching up with them when
- 8:03they're back in town with their team that they were traded to. They said,
- 8:07Man, I really like the fans, you know, in my new
- 8:09market, but like I really like Phoenix was home to me, and I
- 8:13love the fans out here because you know, yeah, it just worked for
- 8:16who they were as people, and I think that it I never really kind
- 8:20of realized until I was very close with Sons players when they got traded and
- 8:26seeing how everything changed for them when they got traded, that players do kind
- 8:30of they feed off of fans at the end of the day. I mean,
- 8:33they're there to play a game and everything, but like as a whole
- 8:35encompensing like being part of a city, their interaction with fans is really important
- 8:41and it affects them more than you think it would. I learned that definitely
- 8:46with some players that like are struggling connect in their new market where they were
- 8:50like fan favorites here. You know, I think it's about finding kind of
- 8:54what works for you. For me, you know, I love Philly fans
- 9:00of them and I really fit in there, and here it's like everyone's been
- 9:03really welcoming here, but it's just like it's a different kind of passion.
- 9:07So I'm still finding a way to kind of connect with Phoenix out here,
- 9:11and I think it's the same with athletes. You know, you just got
- 9:13to go. You have to hopefully land in a city with fans that you
- 9:18vibe with. It's it's a personality thing. And I think what's interesting too
- 9:20is we're getting ready to segue into some sports photography. Is like I can
- 9:24actually tell, you know, when I'm on Threads and I'm looking at some
- 9:28of the photos that you will post, you can tell that there are certain
- 9:31athletes out there that are connecting with the fan base. And that's what I
- 9:37love about sports photography and photojournalism is that you are able to make a connection
- 9:45with whatever is in the picture and whatever the picture and photo is trying to
- 9:48portray. So I really want to start going down this road here of sports
- 9:54photography with you because I think that for people, you know, when we
- 9:58have these things here and I'm holding up my iPhone, folks as I'm talking
- 10:03to Kate here, like everybody thinks they're a photographer now, you know,
- 10:09and these devices they really do provide us some sort of insight into the world
- 10:15of photography, but it doesn't make everybody photographers out there for sure. So
- 10:20I'm wondering, you know, if people want to get started in sports photography
- 10:24outside of the confines you know, of their iPhone or whatever, say they
- 10:28you know, say they want to capture moments at their kids soccer games or
- 10:31a middle school basketball game. What kind of tips can you actually give them
- 10:35as they're learning on the fly to really help capture these moments of connection?
- 10:39What are your thoughts? Right? Yeah, I know it's like if you
- 10:43have like zero experience with a camera that it can be really daunting because there's
- 10:48all these buttons and dolls and on these menu settings that you're just like,
- 10:52what the heck do each of these do? Right? And this is where
- 10:54I'm like, you know, I'm not always an advocate for auto set actually,
- 11:00just like you know, I had a whole thread argument with people I
- 11:03had to delete it because I was just like sucking my energy where like these
- 11:07people in professional settings that are like, you know, season photographers using auto
- 11:13settings, I was like, you should be better than that. You should
- 11:15know how to set your own camera. And but it's one of those things
- 11:18like when you're learning, like use auto to kind of give you like a
- 11:22or like shutter priority is what I say for sports to kind of give you
- 11:26a good starting point. So you're gonna put your camera into the S mode,
- 11:30which is for shutter priority, and set your shutter speed at around like
- 11:33I say, one one thousand for most sports is a good starting point.
- 11:37And also depending on the speed of the sport, you can adjust it.
- 11:41You know, if it's just Little League, you can probably bump it down
- 11:43to like one five hundredth because they're not like running as fast as you know,
- 11:46an MLB player. But start there and then just like like take the
- 11:52picture and then look at your settings and see, you know, what it
- 11:56gave you for aperture and ISO, and then go from there and then actually
- 12:00pop the camera into manual, plug those settings in, and then just accordingly,
- 12:05you know, I would always keep like your shutter speed relatively the same,
- 12:09but then you're going to adjust your aperture and your ISO. You know,
- 12:13the picture needs to be brightened or dark and to like you know,
- 12:16to kind of sum it down. And then that's where you're going to really
- 12:20start to understand how each of those components shutter, aperture, and ISO are
- 12:24going to affect your image. Yea, and same co be said for about
- 12:28almost any setting, like white balance or things like that, like auto could
- 12:31be okay, but also like feel free to mess with the settings with like
- 12:33creating a custom white balance or for daylight if you're outside, or shade or
- 12:39like, you know, kind of like using that that auto feature as a
- 12:43starting point and then just like teach yourself on the fly. But it's a
- 12:48good thing to start out with, and it's okay to start out on shutter
- 12:50priority or auto when you're starting out. Absolutely, there's no perfect way to
- 12:54take a photo, folks, There's no perfect way to do it. You
- 12:58have to learn. As somebody who is a videographer on the side for many
- 13:03years now, I'm still learning as I am going along. I certainly know
- 13:07what type of settings I like, I know what I like my camera to
- 13:09do, and when I wanted to do certain things, but I'm constantly learning
- 13:13on the fly. So as we're moving along here, Kate, you know,
- 13:18diving into sports photography, I recently read a post on Threads from you,
- 13:22because I know, I know you've kind of like really gotten into Threads
- 13:24and I love reading your stuff over there and looking at what you post as
- 13:28well. But like I said, I've read a recent post from you about
- 13:33how you didn't have the latest and greatest camera equipment and that people shouldn't be
- 13:37ashamed to use whatever they can afford at the moment to actually create their setups.
- 13:43And again, you know, I loved this as a videographer. If
- 13:46you don't have the latest lens or camera body, what message can you give
- 13:52people to kind of keep their perspective on what's important about their photography work and
- 13:56what they're trying to capture? Right? Yeah, I mean, like throughout
- 14:01my whole career, like I've had to invest in my own gear, and
- 14:05I'm not made of money here, so I had to kind of find thrifty
- 14:09ways to go about buying my gear. And it's still the same even though,
- 14:11like I worked for the NBA, I had to invest in like even
- 14:15more gear than I had because I'm doing new things like shooting on strobes or
- 14:20setting up remote So it was just a very kind of like scary thing.
- 14:24And you look at some of these price points and you're just like, ye,
- 14:28holy crap, how can I afford to do that? It's it's insane,
- 14:31Like I love this on one to go on a little tangent, this
- 14:33one TikTok thread that said, put on like your most like you know,
- 14:37expensive outfit to come like meet my parents for the first time, and like
- 14:41mine would be my game day setup with like my camera strapped to my body.
- 14:45I was like my most expensive accessories. It's not my purses, it's
- 14:50my camera gear. Yep. But what I always say is just kind of
- 14:54like you know, depending nikon, you know, Cannon is be away of
- 15:00new releases for like cameras or lenses and get the one previous once the new
- 15:05ones released, because what a lot of people are doing is like the ones
- 15:09that can afford the latest and greatest are selling their old gear to put towards
- 15:13buying a new body or a lens. So kind of like you know,
- 15:16for me, like I use a D five, you know for my one
- 15:20second body, and like that's like outdated, that's an older body. Yeah,
- 15:26just so folks know, that's like an older body. I mean,
- 15:28I know, I know a little bit about cameras. Of course that's an
- 15:31older body, but my gosh, it's still serving you well, yeah,
- 15:35absolutely, And it's just like you have to kind of work with what you
- 15:37got. And I tell people if they're on a budget and have to pick
- 15:41between a cam a new camera body and a new lens. Is I always
- 15:46kind of err on the side of having a good lens before like the latest
- 15:48and greatest camera body, because if you're gonna have a faster lens, the
- 15:52pictures on your older body are gonna look better as opposed to like vice versa,
- 15:56with a newer body and an older lens. You know, you can
- 16:00kind of save money that way. And there's really great like camera dealers that
- 16:04sell used gear and like you know, even when you're buying used, like
- 16:10you don't have to have something in excellent quality. You can do something that's
- 16:12like new or just in good quality. You know that's like it's not And
- 16:17there are a lot of these websites are really honest with like the function of
- 16:19the lenses that they're going to tell you, hey, there's a scratch on
- 16:22the lens, but we've tested it and it doesn't affect photo quality, so
- 16:26screw it, But get that lens if you're gonna save you know, a
- 16:30few hundred dollars, Like it's it may not be the prettiest or maybe scuffs
- 16:34on your lens, but you know, at the end of the day,
- 16:37who cares if your pictures look good, is like my argument. So and
- 16:41if honestly, if you can become a good photographer shooting on like less than
- 16:45ideal gear, it's gonna make you better in the long room, because that's
- 16:48what I did. I started out using a kit camera when I started with
- 16:52the Flyers, like literally something you can get a best buy, and that's
- 16:56what I could afford. And then as time went on, I got some
- 17:00better gear, but I made it work for me for years, and I'm
- 17:03still doing it that way, like unless I can like charm nikon into giving
- 17:07me a deal, you know, like answering me, like that's just that's
- 17:11just how it is, and work with what you've got and you know,
- 17:15just do the best you can with it. I love that message, I
- 17:18really do, because there are times when I'm taking like photos in general,
- 17:22when I don't when I don't want to use the phone or anything like that
- 17:26for family events or things like that, whatever the case is, and I'll
- 17:30bust out my cannon freaking Rebel T six, which is like ten years old
- 17:36at this point, you know, but I am comfortable with it of course
- 17:40because it is old, but I still get I get still capture some really
- 17:44great shots and some moments with it because I mean, because I know what
- 17:47I'm doing with it. But you don't always have to have the latest and
- 17:49greatest, folks, great great tips from Kate there, Kate, I know
- 17:52your website. Your website still up Katefreeze dot com. Correct, yep,
- 17:57all right. I just wanted to throw that out there for folks, Katefreeze
- 18:02dot com. And where can folks find you on social media? I know
- 18:04some of us we've kind of been, you know, we've been navigating the
- 18:08waters a little bit more and treading a little more lightly on the social sphere.
- 18:12So I've been on threads. I'm kind of getting back into the Twitter
- 18:15X a little bit here and there. So what do you Where do you
- 18:19want folks to follow you at out there on the interwebs? Yeah? What
- 18:25I'm I have like an account on everything, but I don't post on everything.
- 18:30I don't I don't have a time a day or the energy for that
- 18:32I like to do it. I've kind of steered away from Twitter. I
- 18:37refuse to call it X or whatever the don'ts Twitter. I know, I
- 18:42really kind of steered away from that because I was just getting a lot of
- 18:45negativity there The only time I really ever post on Twitter is when I'm talking
- 18:51about Philly sports because a lot of my following still is my people back from
- 18:55Philly. So I'll chime in and be talking about how like I sobbed during
- 18:59the game when you know, plus Eagles game with Jason Kelcey on the sideline,
- 19:03it's like, I'm right there with your friends. We're all hurting right
- 19:06now. And Instagram is where you can see a lot of my photography threads.
- 19:11I kind of wanted to take a different approach because I wanted to not
- 19:15have it be like Twitter two point zero for me. I wanted it to
- 19:18be a place where I'm going to be candid. I do have to kind
- 19:22of, like, you know, watch a little bit of what I say
- 19:23because I think the league does, like NBA does, look at my social
- 19:27so I can't go fully like unhinge like I would like to. But it's
- 19:33a little more. It's me being really candid. It's me talking about my
- 19:37interests outside of photography, you know, And that's where I feel like you're
- 19:42going to get more of, like my real personality is on is on threads.
- 19:47I'm really trying trying to get myself to do TikTok more. I have
- 19:52some stuff that I'm planning right now so people that's going to be I think
- 19:56more behind the scenes kind of stuff which I know people want to see or
- 20:00just talking about, like you know, my job and everything like that.
- 20:03So but those I am on everything, But I say Instagram and breads are
- 20:07the most what I'm most active on. Search out Kate Freeze, f R
- 20:11E s E folks. She is a great, great follow on these social
- 20:15sites and you're gonna enjoy the content for sure. And I mean, as
- 20:21the online world has certainly changed a number of industries for the better and for
- 20:26the worse, I mean, it's certainly changed in terms of photography. I've
- 20:30seen a number of your posts over the years, Kate, and I've seen
- 20:33a number of other sports photographers in their posts too, you know, talking
- 20:37about you know, people stealing their content their art is essentially So I mean,
- 20:44I'm wondering how has photojournalism from an online perspective really changed for you over
- 20:49the past few years, and how you've kind of adapted with it, because
- 20:52I know we talked about this as well the last time that you were on
- 20:56this podcast a little while ago, but how have you kind of adapt to
- 21:00do where sports photography has kind of gone online with what you've had to deal
- 21:06with. Yeah, I think a lot of this, which is that's a
- 21:08really great question. I think a lot of this actually is reflective of my
- 21:12new role. So previously I was just like a member of the media.
- 21:17I was a lot more like kind of fan centric and things like that,
- 21:21and my images only had a certain kind of reach to them as as far
- 21:26as how kind of far out that they got. Now, working for like
- 21:30as an NBA photographer for the league, I have my post. I'm also
- 21:33like a Getty contributor through that, so I have a much wider range of
- 21:38where my photos can end up. And that just means less people that tag
- 21:45me like a lot of like you know, like Land Magazine uses my stuff,
- 21:48like you know, they've done that recently, and I mean the teams
- 21:52will use my stuff. And it's just kind of one of those things that
- 21:55I've had to reframe my mind where I'm like infuriated. I'm just like,
- 22:00please just give me a tag or a credit in the comments, and that
- 22:03just doesn't happen when I'm on this level and that I have to really more
- 22:07actively search and seek out to see where my images are being used because I'm
- 22:11not getting tagged, and it bothered me at first. I've kind of like
- 22:15become like at a better place with that that you know, I'm just at
- 22:18the level where I'm not going to get that. Unfortunately, you would think
- 22:22it'd be the opposite way where I would get more respect, but I don't.
- 22:26I do have at least a lot of like the fashion kind of side
- 22:30of things. They're a little bit better, so like League fits will tag
- 22:34me. They're really great, NBA fashion Fits, pro trending, all these
- 22:40different like that. People that love my arrivals, they're a lot better about
- 22:42tagging me, which thank you guys for that. I really appreciate it.
- 22:45I know that it's it's a mutual thing where I provide pictures and they tag
- 22:51me, and I love that. But it's it's one of those things that
- 22:55it's like you don't realize just a simple tag and a picture you can create
- 22:59work for a photographer. That might be you know, like for me struggling
- 23:03to get clients in a new city, all it could it could lead to
- 23:07a new work for me where it takes you five seconds. You could be
- 23:11helping a creative out. So it's one of those things that I hate to
- 23:18say it, but if you're like, if I notice that you're good at
- 23:21tagging photographers and that you're good at giving credit, I'm going to be more
- 23:25inclined to work with you and once to provide pictures and have like a mutual
- 23:29kind of like back and forth exchange where if I'm like hunting down like you
- 23:33know, clothing brand that I'm like, hey, you're profit you're literally selling
- 23:37stuff based on an image that of mine. At least give me a tag
- 23:41because like you're probably profiting and selling more stuff because people are seeing pro athletes
- 23:45wearing your clothing and it's it's frustrating and it's a constant battle. But you
- 23:51know, at the end of the day, I've been really kind of focusing
- 23:55on making sure my energy is put in the right places and that's like creating
- 23:59my art instead of fighting people, you know, for a tag. But
- 24:03you know, I have I have a list up here the people that are
- 24:06good about tagging me, and you know they're gonna get top priority and more
- 24:08more from me. I love that answer. I think it's great. And
- 24:14you used a word in that answer in that discussion point, which is respect
- 24:18and respect is something that I think a lot of content creators, professional creators
- 24:22just don't get a lot of I think there's this, there's this, this,
- 24:26this gnomer out there that those of us that create content, oh it's
- 24:30just easy. They continue to do it. They're churning out all this stuff.
- 24:34Takes a lot of work, folks, it really does. And to
- 24:38give content creators and artists some sort of respect is it can really go a
- 24:42long way. It can really go a long way in the end. So
- 24:45Kate to close us out here, and I have I have to ask you
- 24:48this question I have in the past as well as a fellow creator, and
- 24:53I'm gonna ask it again here. What has photography and the artistic form of
- 24:59what you do? What does it what does it continue to symbolize for you
- 25:03personally, like within your industry? What are your thoughts? Yeah, I
- 25:07mean it's it's always been about self expression and kind of finding a way to
- 25:14show how I see sports and how I see the world. I mean,
- 25:18for me, it comes from, like you know, being very rooted as
- 25:21a very emotional person. I love to create those emotional images and kind of
- 25:26find ways to bring out different parts of the sport that like I may see
- 25:30that not everyone does. And since I have the access that I do,
- 25:33I can really like tell an interesting story and to just really give people like
- 25:38an insight and just like what it's like, you know, being courtside at
- 25:44these games, you know, and this little stuff that like I notice that's
- 25:48not going to be shown on TV because it's in a time out, you
- 25:51know, Like little things like that that like the average person, unless you're
- 25:53sitting courtside right behind me, are not going to see. And but for
- 25:57me, it really is about self expression and always being a very creative person
- 26:02growing up, always loving writing and music, and it's just like another tool
- 26:06for me to express myself and kind of like you know, get my feelings
- 26:10and emotions out. So it's a really nice kind of creative outlet for me.
- 26:12Yeah, Kate Freeze, Kate Freeze photo or Kate Free's photo? That
- 26:17was? That was? That's your Instagram? Isn't it? Is that your
- 26:19Instagram? Kate Freeze photo. I think it's just Kate Freeze. Now I've
- 26:22dropped the photoh okay, I have no idea why they just came to my
- 26:26brain. Oh my gosh, I can't believe that just came to my brain
- 26:30here anyway, Oh yeah, yoie, folks, Kate Freeze. Check her
- 26:33out on Instagram and everything she has got going on the interwebs and uh,
- 26:38wherever you're listening to this, she's a fantastic photographer. Reach out to her.

- 27:03yeah, I'm sending Philly all my love. Know that I'm still one of
- 27:07you and like you know, at the end of the day, I'm still
- 27:10a diehard fan. So thank you Jeff for having me. I always love
- 27:14talking to Kate really at the end of the day, and you know,
- 27:17just to pull back the curtain a little bit, you know, after we
- 27:18had got done talking, I told her her passion for what she does,
- 27:22you know, it's it really is amazing to see and you can actually see
- 27:26it within the shots that she takes. And sometimes it may be difficult to
- 27:33describe that and what that means in an artistic form and get, you know,
- 27:37folks to kind of understand that. But she definitely is passionate, and
- 27:41I think a lot of that came through in our discussion. I hope it
- 27:44did. So again, I wanted to take our Table Talk discussion this week
- 27:48in a little bit of a different direction. I think sports photography is very
