- 9:30Byewart season. This awards season, this award season, this award season,
- 9:39award season, this awards season. Oh oh oh, it's just for he
- 10:35if. Yeah, well, it keeped me out and it interrupted your presentation,
- 11:48so I wanted to come on and apologize. Just people get a chance
- 11:52to see what happens in the real world. This is what happened in real
- 11:56time. So this is what happened. But we keep pushing again. Yeah,
- 12:03I want to encourage you guys to get involved in the award show.
- 12:09Patrisa's doing an amazing job putting this together. As you can see, we
- 12:15have a lot of different categories. Right now, we are unable to stream
- 12:22on Facebook for some reason. Streamyard is having some kind of trouble. They
- 12:28said they're having trouble screaming on Facebook. So hopefully you guys will see this
- 12:33as a replay comes back up. You guys will get a chance to see
- 12:39this because a lot of our followers are on Facebook, so definitely I'm gonna
- 12:46be probably gonna have to re air this for them. I'm gonna make the
- 12:52slide available for them so that they can at least go through the slide.
- 12:58I'll probably make some little clips of the slide of your slide so I can
- 13:03share it with them. Really want you guys to get involved. Take this
- 13:09opportunity to nominate some of your favorite individuals in the literary world. Whatever form
- 13:18of literature they may produce, whether it's a book, a novella, a
- 13:24novel, short served read, magazine, whatever it is. There's a lot
- 13:30of categories that you can get them involved in, podcasting, movie thrillers,
- 13:39whatever it is, the trailers, whatever it is, that they are using
- 13:43their creativity and using their gifts and their talents to be able to share in
- 13:48the literary world. It's all about bringing awareness to literature. You got highlighting
- 13:58those contributors, those creative line because y'all we've not always had this face and
- 14:11I'm so grateful that you know, I dropped this in my spirit in twenty
- 14:15twelve. Yeah, I've been doing it just that Loan. I started out
- 14:18with babies, working with babies and just going to the library and not being
- 14:24able to find these books really got me involved in writing and got me involved
- 14:31in trying to showcase. I tell you, Google and Facebook, they will
- 14:39remind you of certain things that sometimes you forget about. But I remember a
- 14:43lot of the events that you've been bringing up. A lot of the different
- 14:50events and a lot of these different things that the pandemic slowed us down and
- 14:56kept us from being able to do these things. But I I'm excited about
- 15:01twenty twenty four. We will not only get an opportunity to meet some of
- 15:05these amazing individuals, but we get an opportunity to showcase a lot of these
- 15:13individuals that we've met virtually. We actually were going to get an opportunity to
- 15:18come from behind the scenes and really get to network, get out in the
- 15:24community, and really get an opportunity to, you know, bring to light
- 15:30some of this stuff that you guys see on this on social media because a
- 15:35lot of people they be like, Nah, they really don't be doing that.
- 15:39Yo, we really do. We don't do we do it. And
- 15:41this show us our growth that we have done in just one year, the
- 15:48growth that we have done. I mean last year we did have what three
- 15:52categories. Now we got over fifteen guys and It's readers always say had we
- 16:00only had yeah, three categories land Woman of the Year and Poetry Author author
- 16:08and there, and then I think the community it was a community may had
- 16:18something to do with community. I think we only gave out like five or
- 16:21six awards overall at the most, I think. But yeah, I'm excited
- 16:30to be able to be able to recognize more individuals and more individuals to be
- 16:36able to, you know, come out to these events because I'm excited about
- 16:41the Chasing Your Dream Book Tour and getting back out there because the last time
- 16:48I actually did a book tour, I actually had a business partner and we
- 16:55had a whole crew of teenagers that that went to these events and helped us
- 17:02at these even events. So this go around, it's gonna be a little
- 17:07different. It's gonna be being the ambassadors. You know, don't have the
- 17:14teenagers because most of those stages are grown. They've graduated from college, and
- 17:21and those babies, most of them are in college now, are in high
- 17:25school, and they're not trying to tag along with Auntie angelas what they call
- 17:29me. But yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited about the tour. Not
- 17:37only are we gonna be doing the Chase Your Dream Book Tour, we also
- 17:41are gonna be tagging along. We're gonna have the Silently Hurt Inside Hurt No
- 17:47More book series gonna be tagging along on this tour. It's gonna be an
- 17:52opportunity for about sixty four to sixty five poets to be able to you know,
- 18:00share their brand to share their words. Because this last book that's gonna
- 18:04drop on December thirty first, it's forty of us. It's four of us
- 18:07in this book. There was fifteen in the first book, and then there
- 18:12were nine in the second book and the book that we're doing to bring awareness
- 18:18to those incarcerated females. I think right now I have eleven women that's a
- 18:26part of this project, and I was looking for thirty to fifty women to
- 18:30share with us on this project, just to share their words of encouragement.
- 18:36But however, just opportunity, opportunity. That's that's what we're presenting to everybody.
- 18:41Opportunity to allow yours to speak. And for those that may want to
- 18:47be a part of season two, the coupis we have space available. We
- 18:56have space available. So y'all, I'm gonna go on and get on out
- 19:03of here. He said, I just wanted to come on. You know,
- 19:04I know people be wondering what they got going on over there. Just
- 19:07have to sometimes just have to explain what's going on. And that was beyond
- 19:12my control. As'll can see, some things we can control and some things
- 19:18we can't. We just had to go through the motions and go through the
- 19:21process and that's what I do. It keeped me out twice. It would
- 19:25not let me control the what it was playing. It was playing that like
- 19:30I wasn't doing any of that, like it was like something. It was
- 19:37doing whatever, and then to kick me out, and then I went out.
- 19:44And then I was trying to send a message and wouldn't let me send
- 19:47a message. So I just logged out and then A looed back in and
- 19:52then it let me. It let me come on with no problem. But
- 19:56it does that. And then it said that I saw the message. It
- 19:59said that there was a problem screening to Facebook and they was checking the issues.
- 20:03I like, I don't know what's going on with stream Yard, but
- 20:08there's been a lot of issues with them. They just got the the echoing
- 20:14worked out. And it's just a lot. But when when you're doing something
- 20:18positive and you're doing something, you always gonna get some some traction, You
- 20:23always gonna get some feedback, You always gonna get something because you on track.
- 20:29So just know that it don't come without something, and anything worth having
- 20:37is worth working for. So just don't give up. That's what I tell
- 20:40people. Fight through it, keep pushing up. Yeah, it may get
- 20:44on your nerves. But I don't let it stop me. I just save
- 20:48me a little prayer and I go along. I need not get the enemy.
- 20:53No, no, it gets none. But yeah, I'm excited,
- 21:00and I say, if they want some more information, they can reach out
- 21:06to you. They can reach out to me, they can reach out to
- 21:07the crew, they can reach out to US Fire Office Magazine. We're here
- 21:11to answer all your questions and just be looking out because there's gonna be a
- 21:17lot of promotions going out over the next couple of weeks to get you guys
- 21:22ready for the voting, because voting and nominations are gonna be going for Decemblar
- 21:30first through the thirtieth. So let's get it, y'all. Let's make it
- 21:34do what it do. All right, you guys, well you heard its
- 21:45now stream no acup, scream yard. We're about to let you rest in
- 21:48a minute. But like she said, we got so much going on you
- 21:52guys, make sure you tune in. Good night everyone, All right out,
- 22:00y'all be blissed.
