- 2:34Speaker 3: right now.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:35Speaker 3: All right, Senator, I want to start with something that
- 2:38Speaker 3: really raised a lot of eyebrows, and that was Mondami's
- 2:40Speaker 3: statement that he made on the third anniversary of the
- 2:44Speaker 3: horrific October 7th attacks. And there were a lot of
- 2:46Speaker 3: people that were taken aback by what he said because
- 2:48Speaker 3: it wasn't just a day where he stood in solidarity
- 2:51Speaker 3: for those that were brutally murdered and kidnapped and raped.
- 2:56Speaker 3: He also threw out that there was, in essence, genocide
- 2:59Speaker 3: that happened on the other side, going after the terrorists
- 3:04Speaker 3: in the West Bank, as he described it, in Gaza.
- 3:06Speaker 3: That was the part that I think shocked so many.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Well, Mondami's statement was truly shameful, and it was released
- 3:13Speaker 4: as an official public statement from the office of the mayor.
- 3:16Speaker 4: So I'm going to read you what exactly he put out.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Today.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Mayor Zoran Kwame Mandami, by the way, I didn't know
- 3:23Speaker 4: his middle name was Kwame, but they put it out
- 3:25Speaker 4: every time they refer to him, they refer to him
- 3:27Speaker 4: as Mayor Zoran Kwame Mandami, released the following statement on
- 3:31Speaker 4: the third anniversary of the October 7th attacks. Quote, this
- 3:37Speaker 4: day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It
- 3:40Speaker 4: marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7th.
- 3:44Speaker 4: On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis, and
- 3:49Speaker 4: abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and
- 3:55Speaker 4: neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. Now, Ben, frankly,
- 3:59Speaker 4: if the statement had ended there, it would have been fine.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Not terrific, but fine. He at least acknowledged that more
- 4:06Speaker 4: than 1,100 Israelis were killed, that that More than 200
- 4:09Speaker 4: were abducted. He did not acknowledge that women and girls
- 4:13Speaker 4: were raped. He did not acknowledge that dozens of Americans
- 4:16Speaker 4: were murdered and dozens more were kidnapped. He somehow left
- 4:19Speaker 4: the Americans victims of that atrocity out of his statement.
- 4:22Speaker 4: But if it had ended there, it would have been acceptable.
- 4:29Speaker 4: But it didn't end there. Then what Mondami really thought continues.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I'm going to return to the statement. Quote, the suffering
- 4:37Speaker 4: did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued
- 4:40Speaker 4: through the Israeli government's devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in
- 4:46Speaker 4: which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians, including more
- 4:51Speaker 4: than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than
- 4:56Speaker 4: 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering is intensified with
- 5:01Speaker 4: every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every
- 5:06Speaker 4: drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every
- 5:10Speaker 4: shipment of food aid turned away at the border crossing.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and
- 5:17Speaker 4: we mourn alongside them, all while knowing that our tax
- 5:22Speaker 4: dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must
- 5:27Speaker 4: refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue,
- 5:31Speaker 4: where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal
- 5:34Speaker 4: government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor
- 5:39Speaker 4: the dead, we must fight for a world in which
- 5:42Speaker 4: every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity. And
- 5:46Speaker 4: let me say, this man is a vicious, America-hating, propagandist liar.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Understand that virtually every word that he said in the
- 5:57Speaker 4: remainder of the statement, and three-fourths of his statement, on
- 6:01Speaker 4: October 7th, is blasting Israel and the Jews. Almost every
- 6:05Speaker 4: word of it is a lie. Number one, the death
- 6:07Speaker 4: tolls that he puts out are simply recycled from Hamas's propaganda,
- 6:11Speaker 4: which he accepts with no hesitation at all. His claim
- 6:15Speaker 4: that there is a genocide in Gaza is an utter
- 6:18Speaker 4: and complete lie.
- 6:20Speaker 5: It is false.
- 6:21Speaker 4: There is not a genocide. That is not happening. And
- 6:24Speaker 4: in fact, the Palestinian population continues to grow and grow
- 6:27Speaker 4: and grow. in Gaza and in the West Bank. Genocides
- 6:32Speaker 4: do not result in populations growing dramatically. Who is it
- 6:35Speaker 4: that wants to do a genocide? It is Hamas. When
- 6:38Speaker 4: they chant, from the river to the sea, what they
- 6:42Speaker 4: mean is from the Jordan River to the sea, they
- 6:44Speaker 4: want to eradicate Israel and kill every Jew in Israel.
- 6:49Speaker 4: It is Hamas who is advocating a genocide. It is
- 6:52Speaker 4: not Israel. Mondami's statement talks about Every drone strike targeting
- 6:58Speaker 4: a residential building. By the way, they are focused on,
- 7:02Speaker 4: among others, taking out Nasrallah, the head of Hezbollah, which
- 7:06Speaker 4: that is how they took him out. And Mondami was
- 7:09Speaker 4: mourning that an America-hating, bigoted terrorist was taken out by
- 7:15Speaker 4: the Israeli military in a defensive attack. This statement, you know, look,
- 7:21Speaker 4: it's one thing if he wants to put out his
- 7:23Speaker 4: vicious attack of Israel. Comrade Mondami, we get it. You
- 7:27Speaker 4: hate Israel. You hate Jews. You also hate Americans and Christians.
- 7:32Speaker 4: But we get that. That's no surprise. But to do
- 7:34Speaker 4: it on October 7th is grotesque. October 7th was the
- 7:40Speaker 4: single worst one-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Did
- 7:47Speaker 4: Mondami acknowledge the rapes?
- 7:50Speaker 5: No.
- 7:51Speaker 4: By the way, rapes on October 7th, which to be clear,
- 7:54Speaker 4: Hamas was so proud of that they videotaped and put out.
- 7:57Speaker 4: They didn't hide them. I've watched video of Hamas terrorists
- 8:02Speaker 4: carving the breasts off of women, playing soccer with the
- 8:06Speaker 4: heads of Jews they murdered, and by the way, murdered
- 8:10Speaker 4: Americans as well, and Mondami takes that anniversary to instead say,
- 8:16Speaker 4: I mourn for the Hamas terrorists who lost their life.
- 8:19Speaker 4: It was disgraceful, and it's who Mondami is.
- 8:22Speaker 3: We were talking about not only his statement, but then
- 8:25Speaker 3: his actions in New York and the crowds as well.
- 8:28Speaker 3: They had a reaction to Mondani and the anti-Israel protesters
- 8:33Speaker 3: as well. Mondani's hands are red. That's what they chanted.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Well, Mondami's statement was shameful. On the anniversary of October 7th,
- 8:42Speaker 4: he attacked Israel. He accused them falsely of genocide. Three-fourths
- 8:47Speaker 4: of his statement was simply blasting Israel and blasting America,
- 8:51Speaker 4: to be clear, for supporting Israel. And yet, nonetheless, his
- 8:55Speaker 4: radical base, that wasn't enough. Give a listen to this
- 9:00Speaker 4: coverage of Mondami's behavior on Fox News.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Give a listen. The mayor of New York, Mandami, has
- 9:06Speaker 5: just finished answering questions about his response to the October
- 9:10Speaker 5: 7th events, and he took the opportunity to double down
- 9:15Speaker 5: on his suggestion that Israel is a genocidal state. He
- 9:19Speaker 5: used that word again, genocide. He insisted on doing that. Well,
- 9:24Speaker 5: last night, Mandami was booed at a vigil, an October
- 9:28Speaker 5: 7th vigil. Alexis McCallum joins me now. Tell me all
- 9:31Speaker 5: about it, please, Alexis.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Hey, Stu.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Well, it's interesting to see New York City's mayor under
- 9:35Speaker 1: fire now from both sides, including people who went to
- 9:37Speaker 1: bat for him to get him elected just last year.
- 9:39Speaker 1: He's now accused of not being anti-Israel enough, while fellow
- 9:43Speaker 1: Democrats say Mamdani have gone way too far. So on
- 9:46Speaker 1: the third anniversary of the October 7th Hamas massacre, Mamdani
- 9:50Speaker 1: is accusing Israel of genocide, saying in part, many New
- 9:52Speaker 1: Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief and we mourn
- 9:56Speaker 1: alongside them, all while knowing that our tax dollars fund
- 9:59Speaker 1: the war crimes. He had to get a little dig
- 10:01Speaker 1: there at the end. Even though Mandani has called for
- 10:04Speaker 1: the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, it's really
- 10:07Speaker 1: just not good enough for some of these pro-Palestinian protesters
- 10:10Speaker 1: who who showed up at a peace vigil and confronted
- 10:13Speaker 1: the mayor. You can see people yelling and fighting here.
- 10:16Speaker 1: We see this in New York often, but usually Mamdani
- 10:19Speaker 1: is not being yelled at, too. He was holding a
- 10:21Speaker 1: candle stew surrounded by Jewish New Yorkers when he got
- 10:24Speaker 1: called out.
- 10:24Speaker 5: Watch.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Hamas chants and Hamas flags.
- 10:39Speaker 1: In New York City again. And some of those activists
- 10:42Speaker 1: helped the Democratic Socialists win the mayor's election last year,
- 10:46Speaker 1: now accusing him of turning his back on the Palestinian people,
- 10:49Speaker 1: calling him a traitor.
- 10:50Speaker 4: I want to end with a message for Zoran Mamdani.
- 10:54Speaker 2: You have a chance. stand with the people of Palestine.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Do not leave behind the cause that you campaigned on.
- 11:11Speaker 1: And Mamdani was asked about this just a short time ago.
- 11:14Speaker 1: He doubled down on calling it a genocide, as you said,
- 11:17Speaker 1: and says he's not bothered by the protests.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Watch. And when we're speaking of that genocide, we're speaking
- 11:23Speaker 6: of one that has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians in
- 11:26Speaker 6: the last three years. As for those protesting me, I
- 11:30Speaker 6: am the mayor of New York City, and this is
- 11:32Speaker 6: what I signed up for.
- 11:33Speaker 1: The mayor of New York City, and also the mayor
- 11:36Speaker 1: of a city that has the largest Jewish population outside
- 11:39Speaker 1: of Israel. Ahead of the midterms, this exposes a big
- 11:41Speaker 1: divide in the Democratic Party about Israel. Even one of
- 11:44Speaker 1: the harshest critics, Mamdani, is just not accused. Accused now
- 11:47Speaker 1: of not going far enough. So how do you win?
- 11:49Speaker 1: I don't think you can.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Senator, you listen to that, and he really likes using
- 11:54Speaker 3: this word, accusing Israel over and over and over again.
- 11:58Speaker 3: The people, by the way, that were attacked on October 7th,
- 12:02Speaker 3: and were massacred on October 7th, and are surrounded by
- 12:05Speaker 3: terrorists all around them, and people that chant from the
- 12:08Speaker 3: river to the sea. And he says, no, no, no,
- 12:10Speaker 3: you should hate the Jewish people. They're the ones committing genocide.
- 12:14Speaker 3: That is a key word he keeps saying.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Well, and you could hear the chanters yelling, long live Hamas,
- 12:21Speaker 4: and waving Hamas flags. That is Mondami's base. Those are
- 12:26Speaker 4: the activists who elected Mondami. Those are the people who
- 12:30Speaker 4: put him in power, and that is right now the
- 12:33Speaker 4: base of today's Democrat Party. Understand, Comrade Mondami is, I believe,
- 12:38Speaker 4: the most powerful Democrat in the country. We are seeing
- 12:42Speaker 4: a green-red alliance. We are seeing the Islamists and the
- 12:45Speaker 4: Communists coming together and taking over the Democrat Party. And look,
- 12:50Speaker 4: the Islamists and Communists, they don't agree on everything, but
- 12:52Speaker 4: they agree on who they hate. They hate Jews, and
- 12:57Speaker 4: they hate Christians. They hate Israel. and they hate America.
- 13:02Speaker 4: They hate the Constitution. They hate the rule of law.
- 13:05Speaker 4: And at the end of the day, the Islamists and
- 13:08Speaker 4: communists will turn on each other. Once they have eradicated
- 13:11Speaker 4: the Jews and the Christians, once they have eradicated their enemies,
- 13:15Speaker 4: ultimately the Islamists plan to kill the communists too. At
- 13:18Speaker 4: the end of the day, they intend to prevail, but
- 13:20Speaker 4: in the short term, they'll make common cause with the communists.
- 13:24Speaker 4: And that is Their chant, long live Hamas, is revealing.
- 13:29Speaker 4: There are some people who say, oh, no, no, no, no,
- 13:31Speaker 4: they're not supporting terrorism. They're just, they're advocating for a
- 13:34Speaker 4: two-state solution. No, no, they are not. They are saying
- 13:39Speaker 4: long live Hamas. Hamas are terrorists who targeted civilians. They
- 13:43Speaker 4: didn't attack military targets. They went house to house in
- 13:48Speaker 4: Israel on October 7th, murdering civilians for one reason, because
- 13:53Speaker 4: they are Jewish, kicking in doors, Murdering elderly people, murdering children,
- 13:57Speaker 4: murdering infants, raping women and girls. It was the systematic
- 14:03Speaker 4: target of civilians on racist grounds. And by the way,
- 14:06Speaker 4: you know what else Mondami did on October 7th? What
- 14:11Speaker 4: was that? He went out and ostentatiously had dinner at
- 14:17Speaker 4: a New York City Palestinian restaurant that has an openly
- 14:21Speaker 4: genocidal menu. And this is a he ate at a
- 14:26Speaker 4: place called Ayat Heinz Hall on the Upper West Side,
- 14:29Speaker 4: and it is a restaurant whose sister restaurant in Brooklyn
- 14:35Speaker 4: has a menu section entitled, quote, From the River to
- 14:40Speaker 4: the Sea. And this restaurant, this restaurant, the menu for
- 14:46Speaker 4: Heinz Hall, features a map of what it calls Palestine,
- 14:51Speaker 4: and that map, is the entirety of Israel. It's not
- 14:54Speaker 4: a two-state solution. It is showing what they want, which
- 14:57Speaker 4: is to utterly obliterate Israel, to wipe it from the map,
- 15:01Speaker 4: and to be clear, to murder every Jew living in
- 15:05Speaker 4: Israel so that it is only Hamas Palestinians who remain.
- 15:10Speaker 4: This is what he chose to do, not on any
- 15:12Speaker 4: given day, but on October 7th to make clear that
- 15:17Speaker 4: if given a choice between civilians, children, or Hamas terrorists
- 15:24Speaker 4: who murder civilians and rape children, he stands with Hamas
- 15:28Speaker 4: and his base, no matter how much he does that,
- 15:30Speaker 4: no matter how much he lies, no matter how much
- 15:33Speaker 4: he slanders and attacks Israel and Jews, it's not enough
- 15:39Speaker 4: for the radical base that is taking over the Democrat Party.
