- 0:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so it'll be like flip flop this week.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't have my shit together and started researching
- 0:19Speaker 2: a case and got super into it. And I thought
- 0:26Speaker 2: I picked this case because I was like, oh, there's
- 0:28Speaker 2: a ton of information on it. I'll be able to
- 0:30Speaker 2: like compile it all. And because I didn't get my
- 0:33Speaker 2: research started until way too close to when we were
- 0:36Speaker 2: going to be recording, and we kind of needed to
- 0:39Speaker 2: record a little bit earlier than normal because I'm going
- 0:41Speaker 2: to Disneyland this weekend so won't be able to record.
- 0:46Speaker 2: So that's why we like recorded needed to record early.
- 0:50Speaker 2: And I got super deep into this case and there's
- 0:53Speaker 2: an entire podcast about it, so I started listening to
- 0:56Speaker 2: that podcast and I was like, Okay, I don't have
- 0:58Speaker 2: time to get it done. So thankfully Andrea saved my
- 1:03Speaker 2: ass and is ready and has her shit together. So
- 1:08Speaker 2: she is going to be doing our Monday episode and
- 1:10Speaker 2: then Thursday of this week, you guys will hear my episode,
- 1:14Speaker 2: which it's a crazy one, like and I know Andrea's
- 1:18Speaker 2: Today is crazy too, and I'm so excited. So this
- 1:21Speaker 2: week is just going to be like a crazy week
- 1:23Speaker 2: of episodes.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Yeah, and they're kind of well, they're not similar, but they.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Are a little bit, a little bittle bit. They're like mysterious.
- 1:33Speaker 1: It's like parallels. Yeah, yeah, not the details are obviously,
- 1:38Speaker 1: the endings are different. But right anyway, I won't give
- 1:41Speaker 1: too much way. Yeah, before we get into this episode,
- 1:45Speaker 1: we just want to remind you guys to rate and review, subscribe,

- 1:58Speaker 1: we still need a little bit more. So make sure
- 2:01Speaker 1: you head over to wherever you listen to podcasts and
- 2:05Speaker 1: Apple you can like it, rate us, and review us,

- 2:26Speaker 2: do enjoy listening, if you wouldn't mind giving us however
- 2:31Speaker 2: many stars you think we deserve. You don't even have
- 2:33Speaker 2: to write a review. You can just tap the number
- 2:35Speaker 2: of stars. So that would mean the world to us.
- 2:38Speaker 2: So if you have a second while you're listening, if
- 2:40Speaker 2: you could go do that, we will love you forever.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Yeah, you can do it while you're listening exactly. Okay,
- 2:47Speaker 1: So today's case, I'm going to be covering the mysterious
- 2:54Speaker 1: unsolved disappearance of Bryce Pisa.
- 3:00Speaker 2: And this one is fucking nuts. I like, honestly, I
- 3:06Speaker 2: didn't think about it till you mentioned it the other day.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But this is one that I'm like, I need to
- 3:11Speaker 2: know what happened, Like yeah, oh, it's so crazy.
- 3:16Speaker 1: It is, and it's none of it adds up. And
- 3:18Speaker 1: there's I'll get to it at the end, but there's
- 3:21Speaker 1: like so many crazy theories and it just it just
- 3:25Speaker 1: doesn't add up. It just doesn't make sense as to
- 3:27Speaker 1: like what happened to him, No, it doesn't. It Like, yeah,
- 3:32Speaker 1: So Bryce les Pisa was nineteen years old when he
- 3:36Speaker 1: mysteriously went missing. He literally just vanished into the air.
- 3:42Speaker 1: He was a student at Sierra College in Northern California,
- 3:46Speaker 1: and he was driving home to visit his family in
- 3:48Speaker 1: Laguna Noguel, California at the time of his disappearance. Laguna Miguel.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Have no idea where that is, but I'm assuming it's
- 3:56Speaker 1: near the beach.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Let me, I'm gonna look it up because Okay, I'm
- 4:00Speaker 2: really bad with like directions and stuff, so I don't
- 4:03Speaker 2: know where it is either.
- 4:04Speaker 1: But because I was thinking, like Laguna Beach, like the
- 4:07Speaker 1: it is the show.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so, it's right near Laguna Beach. It's about
- 4:12Speaker 2: forty miles south from where I live in the Los
- 4:18Speaker 2: Angeles area. So it's south of Anaheim, and it's along
- 4:21Speaker 2: the beach and it's almost down to like Ocean side
- 4:25Speaker 2: and Carlsbad, which is San Diego area. Okay, so basically
- 4:29Speaker 2: it's like halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Okay, all right, it gives me a visual.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Right, And where did you say his college was?
- 4:39Speaker 1: He goes this He went to Sierra College in northern California.
- 4:44Speaker 1: How far it is? I think it was like three
- 4:48Speaker 1: or four hours from his home.
- 4:50Speaker 2: This says Sierra College Boulevard to Laguna Neguel is a
- 4:54Speaker 2: seven hour drive.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Oh seven hours, dang Okay.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Although I wonder if there's a different Sierra College. But
- 5:01Speaker 2: this is Sierra College Boulevard, so I would guess that
- 5:04Speaker 2: that's where he assume.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I assume that's where it's at.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Yeah, if it says the colleges in northern California, that's
- 5:11Speaker 2: where this one is. It's like a little bit northeast
- 5:13Speaker 2: of San Francisco, and so that would make sense. It's
- 5:16Speaker 2: about seven hours down to Laguna and Neguel, Okay.
- 5:19Speaker 1: So he had been in touch with his mother the
- 5:22Speaker 1: night that he went missing, and he had called her
- 5:24Speaker 1: at two a m. Saying that he was exhausted and
- 5:28Speaker 1: he would be pulling over to get some rest, and
- 5:32Speaker 1: that he was planning to call her like when he
- 5:33Speaker 1: woke up. So I guess he meant like he was
- 5:35Speaker 1: going to pull over and sleep in his car or
- 5:37Speaker 1: possibly maybe get a hotel room. He didn't specify, but
- 5:41Speaker 1: he did tell her he would get her a call
- 5:43Speaker 1: once he was back on the road.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Okay, and that I mean that makes sense, Like, if
- 5:47Speaker 2: you're that tired, it's yeah to pull over and not
- 5:50Speaker 2: keep driving.
- 5:51Speaker 1: However, his mother never heard from her son again. His
- 5:56Speaker 1: two thousand and three Toyota Highlander was found abandoned in
- 6:00Speaker 1: a ravine off Lake Hughes Road near Castaic Lake a
- 6:05Speaker 1: few hours later, lying on its side and the rear
- 6:09Speaker 1: window so like if you think like a suv has
- 6:12Speaker 1: like the back you know where the hatches was completely smashed.
- 6:17Speaker 2: And I don't really remember anything about this case, So
- 6:19Speaker 2: if I saw that, I would think he ran off
- 6:23Speaker 2: the road accidentally and then smashed the window out to get.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Out exactly so it was the car was laying on
- 6:30Speaker 1: its side, on the driver's side, so he would have,
- 6:34Speaker 1: you know, essentially he would have had to crawl through
- 6:37Speaker 1: to the back of the car and okay, and smash
- 6:39Speaker 1: the window out because there's not I mean back then
- 6:42Speaker 1: there were probably no latch to get out from the inside. Right.
- 6:46Speaker 1: The odd thing was though his phone, his wallet, his laptop,
- 6:50Speaker 1: and other belongings were still inside the vehicle, but there
- 6:53Speaker 1: was no sign of Bryce.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I yeah, I mean, okay, I feel like that is suspicious.
- 7:01Speaker 2: But also to play Devil's advocate, like if you just
- 7:03Speaker 2: got into a bad car crash and your phone wasn't
- 7:06Speaker 2: like in your wallet or in your wallet, oh my god,
- 7:09Speaker 2: in your like pocket or something where you had it
- 7:12Speaker 2: on you. I could see why you might like leave
- 7:17Speaker 2: it there because you're like, oh my god, I'm hurt.
- 7:19Speaker 2: I need to just like go and get help and
- 7:23Speaker 2: like go up through the road and get help. But
- 7:26Speaker 2: also knowing that like what's what else is coming up
- 7:30Speaker 2: in the case, it is kind of weird.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I can say speaking from experience, Manny and
- 7:35Speaker 1: I were in a car accident on his like first birthday,
- 7:39Speaker 1: and I was unable to get out of my driver's store.
- 7:41Speaker 1: It was completely like crushed, like wedge shut. So I
- 7:46Speaker 1: left my phone, my shoes, I like jumped through the
- 7:50Speaker 1: seats and into the back, got him out and then
- 7:53Speaker 1: got myself out and I was literally walking on glass,
- 7:56Speaker 1: like did not it was completely like adrenaline rush, you know,
- 8:00Speaker 1: And I did not think to grab my phone, like
- 8:02Speaker 1: the firefighters had to grab my phone for me. So yeah,
- 8:05Speaker 1: it makes sense, but it's not too out of the
- 8:07Speaker 1: ordinary to be like, oh, I should grab everything that is,
- 8:11Speaker 1: you know, all my belongings to leave this car behind, right.
- 8:16Speaker 1: So who is Bryce Lispisa. Bryce was born on April thirtieth,
- 8:22Speaker 1: nineteen ninety four, to Mike and Karen. He was actually
- 8:26Speaker 1: raised in the Chicago suburbs of Illinois and graduated from
- 8:30Speaker 1: Naperville Central High School in twenty twelve.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I've heard of Naperville, and I've been to Naperville.
- 8:37Speaker 1: You have been to Naperville.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I have. When I was in college in Indiana, we like,
- 8:42Speaker 2: I was part of the program that like was like
- 8:45Speaker 2: the recruiting, you know. I was an ambassador for business school,
- 8:49Speaker 2: so like we would talk to students who were prospective students,
- 8:53Speaker 2: and we had one of our events in Naperville.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Oh cool, that's really cool. I was listening to another
- 8:59Speaker 1: case Senate was talking about Naperville, but I can't remember
- 9:02Speaker 1: what case it was.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Oh really, I think it's one of the bigger suburbs
- 9:06Speaker 2: of Chicago.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Okay, that makes sense. So when his parents retired, the
- 9:12Speaker 1: family moved to Laguna Neguel, California, and Bryce, as I
- 9:17Speaker 1: mentioned before, was attending Sierra see Era College and was
- 9:23Speaker 1: about to enter his sophomore year at the time of
- 9:25Speaker 1: his disappearance. So Bryce had bright red hair, he had
- 9:30Speaker 1: these beautiful green eyes, and he had like the most
- 9:34Speaker 1: amazing smile that literally could like turn your whole day around.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Like he was such a little cutie and he just
- 9:40Speaker 1: had like the nicest, like biggest white teeth. Teeth are
- 9:43Speaker 1: such a big thing for me. So that's like when
- 9:45Speaker 1: I was looking at his pictures, I was like, oh,
- 9:47Speaker 1: he has such a nice smile. Aw. By all accounts,
- 9:51Speaker 1: Bryce had a normal childhood and was loved and supported
- 9:54Speaker 1: by his parents, and he was a good kid. He
- 9:58Speaker 1: did well in school. He had gotten really good grades
- 10:01Speaker 1: the year before his freshman year of college, and he
- 10:05Speaker 1: had recently well not recently, but he had gotten a
- 10:08Speaker 1: girlfriend who he seemingly adored, named Kim Sly. From all accounts,
- 10:14Speaker 1: they had a good relationship with little to know issues,
- 10:16Speaker 1: and it appeared that they were both quite smitten with
- 10:18Speaker 1: one another. However, reports state that Bryce began acting odd
- 10:24Speaker 1: about two weeks leading up to his disappearance.
- 10:27Speaker 2: That's never good.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, he was like a normal kid,
- 10:31Speaker 1: like I don't know, like you know, maybe in high
- 10:33Speaker 1: school he partied a little bit, drank a little bit,
- 10:36Speaker 1: I don't know. There wasn't a lot of details as
- 10:37Speaker 1: far as that, but leading up to this, there was
- 10:41Speaker 1: like a lot of like uncharacteristic behavior for him. Okay,
- 10:46Speaker 1: So for starters, his girlfriend, Kim stated that he had
- 10:49Speaker 1: called her, saying that she was too good for him
- 10:52Speaker 1: and that he didn't deserve her, And she asked him,
- 10:55Speaker 1: does this mean that you're breaking up with me? And
- 10:57Speaker 1: he replied yes. There was literally like no issues between them.
- 11:01Speaker 1: They hadn't gotten into a fight, like everything seemed normal.
- 11:05Speaker 1: So this was really like surprising and alarming to Kim. Right.
- 11:09Speaker 1: There were also reports from his friends and roommate that
- 11:13Speaker 1: Bryce was drinking heavily and using drugs, specifically ADHD medication,
- 11:20Speaker 1: which a lot of those are like amphetamine type drugs,
- 11:24Speaker 1: and they like hype you up and they can really
- 11:26Speaker 1: make you act like not yourself, right, and like I mentioned,
- 11:30Speaker 1: this was all like really out of character for him.
- 11:33Speaker 1: The day that Bryce had broken up with Kim, she
- 11:35Speaker 1: decided to confront him face to face because she wanted
- 11:38Speaker 1: to know why he was doing this. And after they spoke,
- 11:42Speaker 1: he drove her home and evidently she lived like like
- 11:46Speaker 1: her actual home was like several hours away from the campus,
- 11:50Speaker 1: and she said that, like, during this whole encounter his
- 11:54Speaker 1: behavior was very odd. It's weird. Yeah, like you know,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you know you're especially your boyfriend and like say start
- 12:01Speaker 1: acting out of sorts, like you're like, what's going on
- 12:04Speaker 1: with you.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Right, You can tell when somebody you've been with for
- 12:08Speaker 2: a while isn't acting themselves.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Yeah. So Bryce's roommate Sean Dixon claimed that Bryce had
- 12:14Speaker 1: taken the drug Viavance, which, like I said, is an
- 12:17Speaker 1: ADHD medication, and he would use that to like stay
- 12:20Speaker 1: awake and play video games all night. He mentioned that
- 12:23Speaker 1: he had also been drinking like hard alcohol throughout the day,
- 12:26Speaker 1: So I take that as like he was drinking liquor,
- 12:29Speaker 1: you know, like all day long instead of like you know,
- 12:33Speaker 1: partying with friends and like drinking, which is you know,
- 12:36Speaker 1: maybe not normal for some, but when you're in college,
- 12:38Speaker 1: like I feel like that's kind of normal to do. No.
- 12:43Speaker 1: It was also reported that Bryce had given away some
- 12:47Speaker 1: of his personal belongings to friends, including diamond earrings that
- 12:52Speaker 1: he had gotten from his mother and his gaming console.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So both of those are like pretty big deals. Yeah,
- 12:59Speaker 1: Like those are things that I would think that you
- 13:01Speaker 1: would not want to give away, like maybe sell them
- 13:05Speaker 1: if you're in a pinch for money or something, But
- 13:07Speaker 1: to just give those away without any rhyme or reason, like,
- 13:11Speaker 1: that's very odd behavior.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Especially if you're taking ADHD meds to be able to
- 13:18Speaker 2: stay up to play video games and then you give
- 13:21Speaker 2: away your video game.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Console like that.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Yeah doesn't sound yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Right, let me take another drink.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Hold on, okay, I have a ic Chai with pumpkin
- 13:32Speaker 2: cold foam.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Yeah that's officially fall. Yeah. I have a Calypso lemonade
- 13:39Speaker 1: that sounds really good. Actually they are really good. Well,
- 13:41Speaker 1: I got two of them. I got the strawberry lemonade
- 13:43Speaker 1: and I got this other flavor. But I did not
- 13:45Speaker 1: like the other flavors. I was like, Matt, you can
- 13:46Speaker 1: have this.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I love strawberry lemonade. I honestly, I think I like
- 13:50Speaker 2: it better than regular lemonade.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Same, absolutely same. I was Chick fil A would figure
- 13:56Speaker 1: out a way to make strawberry lemonade because they have
- 13:58Speaker 1: the best lemone.
- 14:00Speaker 2: That would be so good.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I feel like they could do it because they have
- 14:03Speaker 1: like strawberry puree that they put in their shakes. Oh
- 14:07Speaker 1: like they could totally do don't know, we used to
- 14:09Speaker 1: do that when I work there. Chick get it together anyway.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I know, Chick fil if you're listening, make strawberry lemonade.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Please. There's a stupid gnat. I killed one Nat and
- 14:18Speaker 1: now there's another.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Every time we recorded, you have a gnat in there
- 14:21Speaker 2: with you.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Gosh, dang it. He just wants to hear your stories.
- 14:25Speaker 1: He probably like smells the lemonade on my breast.
- 14:30Speaker 2: No, I think he's just really interested in your stories
- 14:32Speaker 2: and wants.
- 14:32Speaker 1: He's a true Crown junkie. Yeah. Yeah.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Anyway, now that that the engine is.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Over, So to me, the fact that he was like
- 14:44Speaker 1: giving away like his personal belongings like that just made
- 14:47Speaker 1: me like, in a way think that he was maybe
- 14:50Speaker 1: preparing to take his own life. I know that seems
- 14:53Speaker 1: like a jump, but it just seems, like you said,
- 14:55Speaker 1: it didn't add up. Like you're staying awake all night
- 14:58Speaker 1: to play to play video games and then you give
- 15:02Speaker 1: away your console.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it just doesn't make sense.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Yeah, so some could assume as such, but also we
- 15:10Speaker 1: have taken to consideration that he was making these decisions
- 15:13Speaker 1: under the influence of alcohol and possibly prescription drugs that
- 15:17Speaker 1: were not prescribed to him, which could be causing like
- 15:21Speaker 1: a reaction, or he could have been in a state
- 15:23Speaker 1: of alcohol or drug induce psychosis because like ADHD medication,
- 15:29Speaker 1: like like I said, it's like an it's like an anaphetamine,
- 15:33Speaker 1: so it can make you stay up for days, like
- 15:35Speaker 1: you can have delusions, you can see things that are
- 15:39Speaker 1: not there, Like it could definitely induce psychosis.
- 15:42Speaker 2: I think if you're on the medication and not sleeping,
- 15:46Speaker 2: not sleeping can also make you have some of those
- 15:50Speaker 2: like delusions and stuff like that. So like it might
- 15:53Speaker 2: just be like maybe it just was an accident and
- 15:56Speaker 2: he was like taking the medication to stay up so
- 15:59Speaker 2: we could play video games, and then it just like
- 16:01Speaker 2: caused a spiral effect and it's very addictive.
- 16:05Speaker 1: So like if he was you know, somebody gave it
- 16:09Speaker 1: to him or whatever he was purchasing it, whatever the
- 16:11Speaker 1: case was, I know he was not prescribed it, and
- 16:15Speaker 1: he could have just been like addiction to it and
- 16:17Speaker 1: overusing it. Right, And you know, when you're prescribed these medications,
- 16:22Speaker 1: like as a patient, they are giving what they're giving
- 16:24Speaker 1: you the dosage that they think that you need. So
- 16:26Speaker 1: if you're a person who is not prescribed them and
- 16:30Speaker 1: you're abusing them and taking way too much, like yeah,
- 16:33Speaker 1: it's messing with your chemistry of your brain big time.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Right, Like that's that's not a good good thing to
- 16:41Speaker 2: be getting into. No, and you don't you just don't
- 16:45Speaker 2: know what it can do to you.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Yeah, so all of this clearly is speculation, but I
- 16:51Speaker 1: thought that they were valid points that needed to be made.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Nonetheless, it's definitely something that, you know, somebody who disappears,
- 16:59Speaker 2: you need to look at what happening beforehand.
- 17:02Speaker 1: All of it, and take it all into consideration. Yeah.
- 17:05Speaker 1: So Sean, Bryce's roommate called Bryce's mother to express his concerns.
- 17:11Speaker 1: He told Karen that Bryce was acting out of character
- 17:14Speaker 1: and that he had broken up with Kim via text
- 17:17Speaker 1: the previous night, telling her that she would quote be
- 17:20Speaker 1: better off without him. And this is before he went missing. Yes, yes,
- 17:26Speaker 1: so this was like like when she like he texted
- 17:30Speaker 1: her the other stuff that I already mentioned, and then
- 17:33Speaker 1: she wanted to like see him face to face, like
- 17:35Speaker 1: he also said like she would be better off without him.
- 17:37Speaker 1: He also said that Bryce had said that something was
- 17:40Speaker 1: bothering him, but he never fully explained what that something was.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Oh that's so yeah, And there's a couple other little
- 17:49Speaker 1: details like this that make me think, you know, I
- 17:52Speaker 1: have so many different theories that I think could possibly
- 17:55Speaker 1: be like what like what happened to him? So just
- 17:58Speaker 1: keep that in your back pocket for now. Okay, So
- 18:01Speaker 1: a couple hours later, Bryce actually called his mom hisself,
- 18:05Speaker 1: despite breaking up with Kim the night before. Like I said,
- 18:09Speaker 1: he had driven her home to Chico, California, okay, which
- 18:15Speaker 1: was about a ninety mile drive, so an hour and
- 18:17Speaker 1: a half not three hours. What did I say before?
- 18:20Speaker 1: Did I say three hours? You said a couple hours okay,
- 18:22Speaker 1: So it was like an hour and a half away.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Bryce insisted to his mom that he was okay, but
- 18:28Speaker 1: Kim actually got on the phone and told Karen that
- 18:30Speaker 1: Bryce was not acting like himself and she did not
- 18:33Speaker 1: think that he should be driving okay. But again Bryce
- 18:37Speaker 1: reassured his mom everything's fine. You know. I'll let you
- 18:41Speaker 1: guys know what's going on, and Karen told Kim to
- 18:45Speaker 1: give him back his keys. Karen also offered to drive up,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I guess and visit Bryce the next day, and he
- 18:54Speaker 1: told her that he did want to speak with her,
- 18:57Speaker 1: but urged her not to make the drive to meet him.
- 19:01Speaker 1: He did not specify, like I mentioned before, what he
- 19:04Speaker 1: wanted to talk about her specifically, but that there was
- 19:07Speaker 1: something that he did want to talk about. And after
- 19:10Speaker 1: their conversation, like I said, Kim got back on the
- 19:14Speaker 1: phone and Karen told her to give Bryce back his keys,
- 19:18Speaker 1: but it was only because Bryce promised to call her
- 19:20Speaker 1: the next morning to check in and make sure everything
- 19:23Speaker 1: was okay. So I get that, Like that's a hard
- 19:25Speaker 1: like there when I was doing my research, like a
- 19:27Speaker 1: lot of the sources were like, why would he you know,
- 19:30Speaker 1: why would his mom tell him tell her to give
- 19:32Speaker 1: him back his keys? Like why wouldn't she want her
- 19:35Speaker 1: to like make him stay there and like, you know,
- 19:38Speaker 1: if he was on something, sober up or get some
- 19:40Speaker 1: rest or whatever the case was. But when you have
- 19:42Speaker 1: your kid on the phone, he's reassuring you everything's fine.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, mom, I'll call you in the morning. You
- 19:47Speaker 1: want to give them the benefit of the doubt, you know.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I don't blame them at all for that,
- 19:53Speaker 2: Like especially when somebody's super insistent like no, I'm fine,
- 19:58Speaker 2: I'm fine, I'm fine. You can only do so much,
- 20:00Speaker 2: like he's an adult, exactly, you can't. It's not like
- 20:03Speaker 2: a kid where you can be like nope, you're not
- 20:05Speaker 2: going anywhere because I control you, like right, I mean,
- 20:08Speaker 2: it's it's heartbreaking that like knowing that that decision might
- 20:12Speaker 2: have saved his life. Yeah, as he as you know,
- 20:16Speaker 2: they knew it. But at the same time, like, you
- 20:19Speaker 2: can't assume that just if they had not done that,
- 20:23Speaker 2: if they had kept his keys, that something like this
- 20:25Speaker 2: wouldn't have happened.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Right, could have had been Yeah, he's still I mean,
- 20:29Speaker 1: and he could have waited till she fell asleep and
- 20:31Speaker 1: then left any kay, you know exactly, especially if he
- 20:34Speaker 1: was like up on eighty eight true medication. And also
- 20:38Speaker 1: like this was not like him, so you know, he
- 20:41Speaker 1: didn't have a history of drug use, He didn't have
- 20:43Speaker 1: a history of like acting out a character like going
- 20:47Speaker 1: a wall and you know, disappearing and not talking to
- 20:51Speaker 1: his family for days on end. Like give him the
- 20:53Speaker 1: benefit of the doubt, you know, I understand why she
- 20:55Speaker 1: did that. So around midnight on August twenty ninth, twenty thirteen,
- 21:00Speaker 1: his parents were notified by their credit card company that
- 21:03Speaker 1: a card in their name that was in Bryce's possession
- 21:07Speaker 1: had been used for roadside service in Button Willow, California,
- 21:11Speaker 1: which was located off Interstate five. His parents thought Bryce
- 21:15Speaker 1: must have decided to drive back home to visit his
- 21:18Speaker 1: family in Laguna Neguel, which from that area was about
- 21:23Speaker 1: three and a half hours, Like, you know, three and
- 21:25Speaker 1: a half hours away.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Also, it's really funny that you said like Interstate five,
- 21:31Speaker 2: because in California, like we always call our like our
- 21:34Speaker 2: freeways are just like the five, the five.
- 21:37Speaker 1: No, we don't even use I.
- 21:39Speaker 2: It's like I was driving on the five, and so
- 21:42Speaker 2: it was just like funny hearing you say like Interstate.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Five, Interstate five that you were driving down. It's a
- 21:51Speaker 1: California thing, you know, Yeah, I was over here. Well,
- 21:54Speaker 1: it's funny that you mentioned that because when I used
- 21:56Speaker 1: to listen to my favorite murder, they're from California and
- 21:59Speaker 1: they would say the five, and I'd be like, what
- 22:02Speaker 1: are they talking about.
- 22:03Speaker 2: I didn't even realize it was a thing that we
- 22:06Speaker 2: did until I went to school in Indiana and I
- 22:09Speaker 2: would say like, oh, I was driving on or have
- 22:11Speaker 2: you seen the traffic on the four H five? And
- 22:13Speaker 2: people would be like what, Like, what are you talking about?
- 22:16Speaker 1: You mean that interstay? Yeah, we say like highway. We
- 22:20Speaker 1: don't even say interstate. Here. We were like Hiway eighty five,
- 22:23Speaker 1: how Way ninety five?
- 22:25Speaker 2: Right in Indiana it was all I like, I sixty
- 22:28Speaker 2: five was the.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Way that That's how Virginia was too.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Okay, It's like even out here we have Pacific Coast Highway,
- 22:35Speaker 2: but we just call it PCH, like that's what locals
- 22:39Speaker 2: call it. And one of my friends was talking about
- 22:42Speaker 2: how she went on like a family vacation to California
- 22:44Speaker 2: and drove on the Pacific Coast Highway, and I was
- 22:48Speaker 2: just like, wait, people don't refer to it as PCH.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Like it's just so funny depending on where you live,
- 22:52Speaker 2: like you call things different.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I love it. Youah me too. Karen grew, you know,
- 22:58Speaker 1: as any mother would more canned for Bryce's well being
- 23:01Speaker 1: after he never made it to their home because it
- 23:04Speaker 1: had been like several hours and he definitely should have
- 23:06Speaker 1: made it there by that time.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Right, Okay, yeah, freaking out a little bit, I'm sure.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Yeah. So she actually did call the Orange County Sheriff's
- 23:13Speaker 1: Department around six pm, and they patrolled the area and
- 23:17Speaker 1: they eventually did find Bryce eight miles away from the
- 23:20Speaker 1: location that he had been serviced for the gas in
- 23:25Speaker 1: Button Willow. So from midnight to six pm the following day,
- 23:30Speaker 1: he had only made it eight miles. Wow. Yeah, which,
- 23:34Speaker 1: like part of me was like, well, what if he
- 23:36Speaker 1: did pull over and go to sleep, Maybe he went
- 23:38Speaker 1: maybe he did fall asleep but we'll see in a minute.
- 23:41Speaker 1: That's not what happened. So the police did give Bryce
- 23:46Speaker 1: a sobriety test, which he passed, and Bryce reluctantly called
- 23:50Speaker 1: his mother, which one of the sources I read and
- 23:53Speaker 1: I don't know if it's true, but said that he
- 23:55Speaker 1: was like so reluctant, Like he was like, no, I
- 23:57Speaker 1: don't want to call her. No, I don't want to
- 23:58Speaker 1: call her. The police grabbed his phone and actually dialed,
- 24:02Speaker 1: like in mom and like made him do it. I
- 24:05Speaker 1: don't know how true that is, but I thought that
- 24:06Speaker 1: was kind of funny to include that. If it is true, Yeah,
- 24:10Speaker 1: they were like, no, you have to call her. Yeah,
- 24:12Speaker 1: like your mom is worried sick about you, dude, Like,
- 24:14Speaker 1: do not make her worry call your mother?
- 24:18Speaker 2: And this is I mean, this is probably a stupid question,
- 24:20Speaker 2: but like he was just tested for like alcohol, yeah,
- 24:24Speaker 2: system R No like drugs or anything.
- 24:26Speaker 1: No. I don't think there's any like filled sobriety that
- 24:28Speaker 1: they can do for drugs. But they can do like
- 24:31Speaker 1: a pupil dilation test with like a light and they
- 24:34Speaker 1: can tell to a certain extent if you're on drugs
- 24:38Speaker 1: based on like how your pupils react to the light.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I assume they did that didn't say, just said like
- 24:45Speaker 1: a sobriety test, but he passed it. So and he
- 24:49Speaker 1: also claimed to be to be sober. He told them like, no,
- 24:51Speaker 1: I'm not on any drugs, I'm not drinking, you know whatever, like.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Right, but likely if there was a if there were
- 24:57Speaker 2: drugs in the system, not like but possibly it was not.
- 25:02Speaker 2: They couldn't They wouldn't really be able to determine that
- 25:04Speaker 2: right on the spot.
- 25:05Speaker 1: There No, And they did search his vehicle and they
- 25:07Speaker 1: didn't find any drugs in the car either or i'llcohol
- 25:11Speaker 1: or anything. So but you know, that's not to say
- 25:14Speaker 1: it wasn't in his system, right, Like I said, Bryce
- 25:17Speaker 1: reluctantly called his mother and reassured her that he was
- 25:20Speaker 1: coming back. As I mentioned earlier, on August thirtieth, twenty thirteen,
- 25:27Speaker 1: Karen received a call from Bryce around two am. He
- 25:30Speaker 1: told her that he was too tired to drive. So
- 25:34Speaker 1: this was after This was two am after he had
- 25:37Speaker 1: gotten found by the police around six So.
- 25:39Speaker 2: He literally went like no, he went eight miles and
- 25:44Speaker 2: then after that, however, many hours later, still called his
- 25:49Speaker 2: mom and was like, no, I'm not going to be
- 25:51Speaker 2: home yet, right, I'm too tired, okay.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Exactly, He told her that he was going to pull
- 25:56Speaker 1: over for the night, and at that point Bryce had
- 25:59Speaker 1: been away, you know, from all accounts, had been awake
- 26:02Speaker 1: for almost forty eight hours. So of course Karen did
- 26:06Speaker 1: not argue with Bryce's decision to pull over and get
- 26:09Speaker 1: some sleep, because I mean, you can't drive like that. No,
- 26:14Speaker 1: But as we know, Bryce did not return home and
- 26:17Speaker 1: he was never seen or heard from again. So after
- 26:21Speaker 1: they found his vehicle in the ravine on its side
- 26:24Speaker 1: with the window busted out, an extensive search began around
- 26:28Speaker 1: the area where the car was abandoned. Like we you know,
- 26:32Speaker 1: compiled whatever you want to say. The police believed that
- 26:36Speaker 1: Bryce had been in the vehicle when it crashed, and
- 26:39Speaker 1: that he escaped by breaking out the back window. As
- 26:42Speaker 1: I mentioned before, the back window was busted out, and
- 26:46Speaker 1: there was blood on the passenger head rest and on
- 26:49Speaker 1: the back seat, so to me, that says he put
- 26:52Speaker 1: his hand on the headrest to go through the seats
- 26:55Speaker 1: to the back seat, and they proceeded to the very
- 26:58Speaker 1: back of the vehicle. Right. However, it was not enough
- 27:02Speaker 1: blood to lead investigators that you know, to believe that
- 27:06Speaker 1: he was severely injured, you know, so it's probably just
- 27:09Speaker 1: like small amounts of blood, just little you know, handprints
- 27:13Speaker 1: or knee prints or whatever. Right. His parents stated that
- 27:17Speaker 1: he was unfamiliar with the area he disappeared from, and
- 27:21Speaker 1: he did not care for hitchhiking or doing any kind
- 27:24Speaker 1: of outdoor pursuits, so it would be completely out of
- 27:27Speaker 1: character for him to take off without seeking help, which,
- 27:30Speaker 1: as we know, everything that he did in those like
- 27:33Speaker 1: two weeks was out of character. Yeah, definitely, But there
- 27:36Speaker 1: were no witnesses, so no one came forward saying that,
- 27:38Speaker 1: you know, this young man with red hair, green eyes,
- 27:41Speaker 1: big bright smile, you know, was seeking any help from them.
- 27:45Speaker 1: So volunteers, rescue teams, search dogs, police divers all search
- 27:51Speaker 1: for any sign of Brice, but not a shred of
- 27:54Speaker 1: evidence was found at all, even after more than two
- 27:58Speaker 1: weeks of searching, which is like so so crazy, Like yeah, footprints,
- 28:03Speaker 1: no blood, trail like nothing. Yeah, and you know this kid, like,
- 28:09Speaker 1: like I said, he had bright red hair, Like I
- 28:11Speaker 1: feel like if somebody saw him, they would know who
- 28:14Speaker 1: he was right away, right, he definitely would have stood out. Yeah,
- 28:18Speaker 1: he wasn't like a you know, brown haired person, walking around,
- 28:23Speaker 1: you know, because that's pretty average. I feel like, yeah, So,
- 28:26Speaker 1: like I mentioned before, surveillance footage or I didn't really mention,
- 28:30Speaker 1: but I was leading to mentioning it. Surveillance footage near
- 28:34Speaker 1: the ravine off Lake Hughes Road captured his car on
- 28:37Speaker 1: two separate occasions, one on August thirtieth at two fifteen
- 28:43Speaker 1: am and the other one around four twenty nine am.
- 28:47Speaker 1: The first picture was taken just seven minutes after Bryce
- 28:50Speaker 1: made the call to his mother on that day, when
- 28:53Speaker 1: he claimed to be pulling over to rest. So it appears,
- 28:57Speaker 1: based on like the direction that his car was going,
- 28:59Speaker 1: that he basically drove in one direction and then when
- 29:03Speaker 1: it was seen again the second time, he was driving
- 29:05Speaker 1: back in the opposite direction. That's really weird. Yeah, And
- 29:09Speaker 1: there was also some reports that during that timeframe he
- 29:14Speaker 1: had stopped at a local gas station to get more gas,
- 29:17Speaker 1: which I'm like, you already got, I mean, yeah, it
- 29:20Speaker 1: was like the day before, like earlier in the day
- 29:24Speaker 1: or at midnight. So like, I guess if you're just
- 29:28Speaker 1: driving around aimlessly back and forth, like, yes, you could
- 29:30Speaker 1: have ran out a full tank of gas.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I don't know, maybe, but yeah, that's really weird.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Yeah, So police found no evidence or motive of foul
- 29:39Speaker 1: play in Bryce's disappearance. There were also no indications that
- 29:44Speaker 1: he died by suicide, since nobody had been found around
- 29:47Speaker 1: the area he disappeared. Because that was what I was thinking.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I was like, maybe he did have like a mental
- 29:52Speaker 1: break and he did go off and like, you know,
- 29:54Speaker 1: commit suicide. But where's his body, you know, like if
- 29:59Speaker 1: it was there, or even if it was in the lake.
- 30:00Speaker 1: I mean, they had divers to search the lake and
- 30:04Speaker 1: they didn't find.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Anything, right, and it's not like it was one of
- 30:07Speaker 2: those lakes that were like insanely deep where you wouldn't
- 30:10Speaker 2: be able to find something.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Yeah. So in the midst of the search, Los Angeles
- 30:15Speaker 1: County fire fighters responded nearby to tackle a brushfire that
- 30:19Speaker 1: was discovered near the lake, and to everyone's horror, the
- 30:23Speaker 1: cause of the blaze was determined to be a burning body.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Oh my god, wait, I haven't heard this. So the
- 30:30Speaker 1: body was determined to be that of thirty five year
- 30:33Speaker 1: old Lamandre Dion Miles. The South Los Angeles man's corpse
- 30:38Speaker 1: had been quote riddled with bullets during a fight over
- 30:42Speaker 1: his failure to pay a debt before he was dumped
- 30:44Speaker 1: instead of blaze. Oh my god. Yeah, So that's the
- 30:49Speaker 1: call that the firefighters were responding to in the midst
- 30:53Speaker 1: of you know, volunteers and search parties looking for Bryce. Right,
- 30:59Speaker 1: I would be if I was his mother, I would
- 31:02Speaker 1: have been a nervous, freaking rag.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Yeah, would have been freaking out.
- 31:07Speaker 1: So fortunately for them, though the body was not Bryce's,
- 31:11Speaker 1: but also still no resolution. Karen and Michael, which are
- 31:15Speaker 1: Bryce's parents, along with investigators because of this incident, wondered
- 31:20Speaker 1: whether or not their son may have stumbled upon something
- 31:23Speaker 1: that was he was not supposed to see and became
- 31:27Speaker 1: a murder victim hisself, right, which is one of the
- 31:30Speaker 1: theories that is out there. Although there is no proof
- 31:33Speaker 1: of this theory one way or another, it's still a
- 31:35Speaker 1: good theory. Yeah, because if you're like scared for your
- 31:38Speaker 1: life and you're like stressed out and you're drinking, you're
- 31:41Speaker 1: doing drugs, and you're getting rid of your stuff, and
- 31:43Speaker 1: you're trying to like give vanish without a trace, like
- 31:46Speaker 1: I mean, it makes sense. Yeah. So, with no new
- 31:49Speaker 1: leaves and no sign of Bryce, the search was officially
- 31:51Speaker 1: caught off after three weeks, although volunteers continued to donate
- 31:56Speaker 1: their time to look for Bryce, and police continue to
- 31:58Speaker 1: carry out patrols of the area during their investigation. While
- 32:02Speaker 1: interviewing Bryce's roommate Sean, the one that we mentioned before,
- 32:06Speaker 1: they learned that on the same night that Bryce left,
- 32:09Speaker 1: he texted Sean and told him quote, I love you, bro, seriously,
- 32:16Speaker 1: You're the best person I've ever met, and you saved
- 32:18Speaker 1: my soul. My gosh.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Right, it's a little ominous, it is.
- 32:23Speaker 1: It's a like a goodbye message kind of. Yeah. So,
- 32:27Speaker 1: in most situations, people who are contemplating suicide will give
- 32:31Speaker 1: away their belongings and write heartfelt letters to their friends, family,
- 32:34Speaker 1: and loved ones. But Sean said he didn't think that
- 32:37Speaker 1: Bryce wanted to die or that he never planned on
- 32:41Speaker 1: coming back. Sean told investigators he thought Bryce just went
- 32:44Speaker 1: off on his own to find himself, and that he
- 32:48Speaker 1: expected him to be back by Labor Day. Okay, yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe he had some insight that we.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Didn't, Maybe that it was like because Labor Day is
- 32:57Speaker 2: kind of like the start of the school year. Maybe
- 32:58Speaker 2: so maybe like as we're starting or something.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Yeah. To this day, Bryce's case remains unsolved. The circumstances
- 33:07Speaker 1: of his disappearance remain unclear, and his current his case
- 33:11Speaker 1: is currently classified as missing. There are a plethora of
- 33:15Speaker 1: theories out there as to what happened to Bryce. Some
- 33:18Speaker 1: that we have mentioned, a psychotic break, suicide, he willingly
- 33:22Speaker 1: left but was later met with foul play. The list
- 33:25Speaker 1: goes on. There's just so many out there. There's so
- 33:28Speaker 1: many questions, so many unanswered questions from family, friends and
- 33:33Speaker 1: people that don't even know him that are just invested
- 33:35Speaker 1: in this case. Yeah, Currently a five thousand dollars reward
- 33:39Speaker 1: is being offered by the family for any information leading
- 33:42Speaker 1: to the safe return of their son Bryce. I personally
- 33:46Speaker 1: hope Bryce's whereabouts are uncovered and we can finally solve
- 33:49Speaker 1: the mystery of what really happened to Bryce's les Pisa.
- 33:53Speaker 1: That is the crazy unsolved story about poor Bryce. That's
- 33:57Speaker 1: just it's just like so it's just weird. It is.
- 34:03Speaker 1: It is really weird. And like I have known people
- 34:08Speaker 1: who have gotten addicted to ADHD medications and I have
- 34:12Speaker 1: seen their like whole personality change and like, you know,
- 34:19Speaker 1: they're just so focused on that and like getting to
- 34:21Speaker 1: the next you know, just like with a lot of drugs,
- 34:23Speaker 1: like you just focus on that drug and just getting
- 34:26Speaker 1: to the next high. And like right, like the fact
- 34:29Speaker 1: that he like wasn't sleeping, and like I mean all
- 34:32Speaker 1: those things could add up to like a psychotic break
- 34:36Speaker 1: or something. But going back to the theory about like
- 34:40Speaker 1: him possibly being involved in something that he shouldn't have
- 34:44Speaker 1: been involved in, and maybe they're because I mean, if
- 34:47Speaker 1: somebody wants to, like, he could have been being chased,
- 34:51Speaker 1: you know, he could have been being followed when he
- 34:53Speaker 1: wat someone could have like you know, ran him off
- 34:56Speaker 1: the road and then chased him down and took his
- 34:59Speaker 1: took him and disposed of him elsewhere. Like there are
- 35:03Speaker 1: just endless possibilities. Like I really hope that he is
- 35:05Speaker 1: alive somewhere and that you know. Yeah, I just I
- 35:10Speaker 1: mean it's you know, twenty thirteen to now. I mean,
- 35:13Speaker 1: that's so many years to have no answers.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Right, And I mean, even like like you said, he
- 35:19Speaker 2: was getting drugs that weren't prescribed him to him and
- 35:22Speaker 2: you never know, like that's usually some shady stuff, so
- 35:26Speaker 2: maybe something happened. Yeah, It's just it's really hard to
- 35:34Speaker 2: believe that if he was killed somehow, whether it be
- 35:38Speaker 2: by himself by somebody else by just like natural causes.
- 35:43Speaker 2: If he got into the car accident and then was
- 35:45Speaker 2: hurt and couldn't get help in time, whatever it may be,
- 35:48Speaker 2: it's really hard to believe that his body would just
- 35:51Speaker 2: not be anywhere.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I have the hard the hard thing about,
- 35:55Speaker 1: you know, thinking that it was a psychotic break or
- 35:58Speaker 1: suicide or something like that, because his body would be
- 36:01Speaker 1: in that vicinity, you know, even if he walked for
- 36:05Speaker 1: miles and miles and miles and then decided, Okay, this
- 36:08Speaker 1: is a good spot, like they still would have found
- 36:10Speaker 1: somebody would have found him, right.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Wow, that's such a crazy case.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I know. And I'm gonna like keep my eyes my
- 36:17Speaker 1: eyes pilled to see if there's any updates, just like
- 36:21Speaker 1: you know, I said I was gonna do with the
- 36:23Speaker 1: Kendrick Johnson case because his case is reopened. So I'm
- 36:27Speaker 1: definitely gonna be keeping my eyes pilled for Bryce's case too,
- 36:30Speaker 1: just to see if there is finally some resolution on it.
- 36:33Speaker 1: So I will have pictures posted of Bryce and his family,
- 36:38Speaker 1: and there's like a map of the road that he
- 36:41Speaker 1: was driving down and like where his car was found.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I'll include that and also like you know, a phone number,
- 36:47Speaker 1: if there's any information that you have leading to any
- 36:51Speaker 1: you know, any information leading to the return or whatever
- 36:54Speaker 1: of Bryce.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, and these are the important ones to share.
- 36:59Speaker 2: These are the ones that really need to be seen
- 37:01Speaker 2: and shared and stuff like that, because you just never know.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I know, that's exactly right. I think that's why we
- 37:08Speaker 1: keep gravitating towards these kind of cases for that reason,
- 37:11Speaker 1: because like, yeah, of course we'll cover cases that are
- 37:13Speaker 1: solved or cases that you know, are very black and
- 37:16Speaker 1: white and have like a clear resolution. But I think
- 37:19Speaker 1: it's really important to keep sharing these cases that are
- 37:22Speaker 1: still unsolved and open and cold and yeah, you know
- 37:25Speaker 1: all that. So but like I said, I'll post those
- 37:28Speaker 1: pictures on Instagram. You can follow us at Inhuman Underscore Podcast.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Like we stated at the all my Face really, like
- 37:40Speaker 1: we stated at the top of the episode, make sure
- 37:43Speaker 1: you rate and review us. Leave us a little five
- 37:46Speaker 1: star review, so desired. Yeah, you know, wherever you listen
- 37:53Speaker 1: to podcasts, follow, subscribe, check us out on Facebook at
- 37:58Speaker 1: Inhuman podcast, I guess out on TikTok at Inhuman Podcasts,
- 38:03Speaker 1: and Twitter at in Human Underscore Podcast.
- 38:07Speaker 2: We're also I'm like posting updates on Twitter, mostly about
- 38:11Speaker 2: the Kristen Smart case because Paul Flores is currently in trial,
- 38:17Speaker 2: like the pre preliminary trial is currently happening. So if
- 38:22Speaker 2: you guys heard us heard our episode on that case,
- 38:26Speaker 2: those updates come on our Twitter. Sometimes I'll post some
- 38:28Speaker 2: on Instagram as well, but mostly on Twitter.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm very curious to see the outcome of that
- 38:33Speaker 1: case as well.
- 38:35Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm so, I mean, just from the preliminary
- 38:39Speaker 2: preliminary trial, it is like crazy how much the defense
- 38:43Speaker 2: is trying to like bring in. So it's gonna be
- 38:45Speaker 2: it's gonna be an interesting one and I'm definitely gonna
- 38:48Speaker 2: do like a full episode update on it, but I'll
- 38:51Speaker 2: probably wait until the trial's over so I can like
- 38:54Speaker 2: read as much of the trial transcript and stuff that
- 38:57Speaker 2: I can and do like a full update instead of
- 38:59Speaker 2: just i mean, like a mini update.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be good to like have that resolution hopefully, yeah, hopefully.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I mean, gosh, I know it's been too long, but
- 39:11Speaker 1: we want to thank you guys so much for listening
- 39:14Speaker 1: and as always, keep it human. Bye
