- 0:11Speaker 2: All right, well he's back and black and I have
- 0:13Speaker 2: the pleasure to welcome you to a new week gerald
- 0:16Speaker 2: WRTR Real Talk Radio. My name is Marcus Smooth, Hey.
- 0:19Speaker 3: And my name is miss Lyric Bravado. Hey, y'all.
- 0:23Speaker 2: What's going on this Lyric?
- 0:26Speaker 3: Not too much. I've been early spring cleaning all day,
- 0:31Speaker 3: rearranging stuff or trying to organize stuff, and then I'm
- 0:35Speaker 3: gonna take all day tomorrow to work on my schoolwork.
- 0:38Speaker 3: So that's already getting how that rested?
- 0:45Speaker 2: How is the balance working out for you so far?
- 0:47Speaker 2: Are you still figuring out out?
- 0:49Speaker 3: Yeh. I gotta get adjusted to this, honey, because I
- 0:51Speaker 3: was already chaotic as it was, so now I gotta
- 0:55Speaker 3: figure out a balance between my music stuff and my
- 1:03Speaker 3: schoolwork and being a mom. So I mean, it's difficult,
- 1:10Speaker 3: but it's doable, I feel you.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Huh. I watched a trap so I saw that. How
- 1:19Speaker 2: was it okay? So I guess I don't want to
- 1:23Speaker 2: spoil it for the listeners, but it was okay. Because
- 1:27Speaker 2: some people have been debating me on this on whether
- 1:30Speaker 2: or not it was like, actually good, I enjoyed it.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I did.
- 1:35Speaker 4: It.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Okay. Now when I say enjoyed, I didn't mean like,
- 1:38Speaker 2: you know, like it was an attitude like I'm not
- 1:41Speaker 2: giving it five stars or anything. What I'm saying is
- 1:44Speaker 2: that I enjoyed it. It's m Night, so you already
- 1:47Speaker 2: know that what you're coming into. But I can say
- 1:51Speaker 2: is I'm a little bit disappointed with the twists because
- 1:56Speaker 2: you know, like M Night, he's like a twist kind
- 1:59Speaker 2: of writer, Like every time every one of his movies
- 2:02Speaker 2: or whatever always has some weird ass outcome. Yeah, and
- 2:07Speaker 2: for this one, I gotta say, like, I didn't expect
- 2:13Speaker 2: the twist to be what it was. And if you
- 2:15Speaker 2: go back and listen, I think I mentioned it in
- 2:19Speaker 2: the podcast before about what my predictions were on my
- 2:23Speaker 2: Facebook somewhere, what my predictions were were not what it was,
- 2:27Speaker 2: which would have made everything make a little bit more
- 2:30Speaker 2: sense when you get to it.
- 2:31Speaker 3: But yeah, for me, I haven't really liked any of
- 2:35Speaker 3: his movie since, like I can't remember what it was called.
- 2:39Speaker 3: It was kind of like Red Little Red writing Hood
- 2:44Speaker 3: or something o that movie.
- 2:47Speaker 2: It was writing Hood.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, because he also came out with another movie
- 2:54Speaker 3: about the girl being trapped in a box, and I
- 2:57Speaker 3: watched it and I was not impressed.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I was like, like, wait, what do you mean trapped
- 3:03Speaker 2: in a box? Watched that.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I can't remember what the movie is called. It just
- 3:08Speaker 3: came out too. It's not Strangers, but it's about this girl.
- 3:15Speaker 3: She goes like to Scotland or something like that, and
- 3:18Speaker 3: she gets lost in the woods and now she's walking.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I guess there's some creatures that.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Oh oh, oh, I did see that. I watched that. Shoot,
- 3:30Speaker 2: I just watched it. It just that was night.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Also, yeah, I was a grass. I was like, I
- 3:37Speaker 3: was so mad at the end. I was like, really that.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Was night yep, hold on, I gotta go back and
- 3:43Speaker 2: look because I just watched it because it was on.
- 3:46Speaker 2: But yeah, okay, hmmm, well I am disappointed. Who say
- 3:53Speaker 2: that good about people? All right? Uh mood? What you got?
- 4:01Speaker 3: I don't want to say chaotic, but I'm saying chaotic, chaos, chaos, chaos. Yeah.
- 4:09Speaker 3: But like I said, I'm trying to maintain and find
- 4:14Speaker 3: a nice balance between everything that I got going on, right,
- 4:19Speaker 3: and I feel really accomplished for what I did today.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I tackled a lot of stuff in my house. A
- 4:27Speaker 3: lot of stuff is not done. But one day at
- 4:30Speaker 3: a time.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I feel you so and move. I am cheesed off,
- 4:37Speaker 2: but I mean I'm getting into a rhythm to where
- 4:40Speaker 2: like now I'm starting to I slowed myself down on purpose,
- 4:45Speaker 2: like I will purposefully put my priorities down, well not priorities,
- 4:51Speaker 2: but the things that can be done later. I'll put
- 4:54Speaker 2: them down so that I can focus and have a
- 4:57Speaker 2: good moment to myself and not feel like world is
- 5:00Speaker 2: falling out, you know, falling a part around me. So
- 5:04Speaker 2: that's why I've listened and you know, to different podcasts,
- 5:09Speaker 2: and I watched different movies and the Deliverance. Let me
- 5:13Speaker 2: tell you, I watched the Deliverance and I can smell
- 5:16Speaker 2: y'all's nappy.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. I was screaming. Okay, I could not
- 5:23Speaker 3: stop laughing. And I know it was a serious moment,
- 5:25Speaker 3: but I was done. That sent me. Now that's all
- 5:31Speaker 3: you see on social media.
- 5:33Speaker 2: People Listen, y'all will take one thing, we will do.
- 5:38Speaker 2: We can't just have something and let it go now.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I got to just keep going and keep going. I
- 5:43Speaker 2: feel like this will be the generation behind us. I
- 5:47Speaker 2: feel like this will be their Tyree's coming out of
- 5:50Speaker 2: that amniotic fluid kind of story in a movie. That
- 5:56Speaker 2: ship was iconic. Glenn, you thank you for that. Jim,
- 6:01Speaker 2: all right, black facts, you were me first.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Let's see, I think I can go for just absolutely Okay.
- 6:11Speaker 3: So what I learned today was in August twenty eighth
- 6:18Speaker 3: and nineteen sixty four in Philadelphia, there was a huge riot.
- 6:25Speaker 3: It stemmed from a black couple, Russ and Odessa Bradford.
- 6:30Speaker 3: They hadn't They had a little tussle, you no, Yeah,
- 6:35Speaker 3: they had a little tussle while they was driving through
- 6:38Speaker 3: an intersect of twenty second Street and Columbia Avenue in
- 6:42Speaker 3: North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a predominantly black neighborhood. The unrest began
- 6:48Speaker 3: when they were pulled over by two police officers, one
- 6:52Speaker 3: black and the other white. And all this happened because Bradford,
- 6:58Speaker 3: which is the lady, stopped the car while arguing with
- 7:04Speaker 3: her boyfriend and refused to move from the intersection, and
- 7:08Speaker 3: the officers tried to physically remove her from the car.
- 7:12Speaker 3: An argument went on, and you know, everybody want to
- 7:15Speaker 3: see what's going on.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Oh no, we're gonna talk about this now. I don't
- 7:19Speaker 2: care if we want to talk about this right now.
- 7:24Speaker 3: So unfortunately, somebody tried to come to her aid by
- 7:30Speaker 3: attacking the police officers. He and Bradford were arrested, but
- 7:40Speaker 3: she never made it to the jail because she was
- 7:43Speaker 3: beaten to death by the white police officer. And unfortunately
- 7:49Speaker 3: she was pregnant at the time. Oh you know us,
- 7:53Speaker 3: we ain't going for any of that. Later that evening
- 7:56Speaker 3: and throughout the next two days, mobs looted and burned
- 8:00Speaker 3: mostly white owned businesses in North Philadelphia along Columbia Avenue
- 8:05Speaker 3: as a protest. Outnumbered, the police response was to withdraw
- 8:09Speaker 3: from the area rather than aggressively confront the rioters. No
- 8:14Speaker 3: one was killed at that day or those two days.
- 8:18Speaker 3: Three hundred and forty one people were injured, seven hundred
- 8:22Speaker 3: and seventy four people were arrested, and two hundred and
- 8:25Speaker 3: twenty five stores were damaged or destroys during the time
- 8:30Speaker 3: of the riot.
- 8:31Speaker 2: And do y'all get while that's the issue, it's not
- 8:34Speaker 2: so much okay, So, yeah, it was probably a little
- 8:37Speaker 2: outlandish to stop in the middle of the intersection to
- 8:40Speaker 2: finish an argument or whatever like whatever the case was. Probably, however,
- 8:46Speaker 2: do you see how our kerfuffles our arguments every time
- 8:51Speaker 2: that are more likely than not when we're arrested. Why
- 8:55Speaker 2: the anxiety, why the like we never get to make
- 9:00Speaker 2: it to trial because our lives are usually ended before
- 9:05Speaker 2: we get there.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Folently m.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Well, okay, well I'm gonna bring it up a little bit, mood.
- 9:15Speaker 2: And also another one out of Pennsylvania. So Pennsylvania doing
- 9:20Speaker 2: big things. Actually Trump is in Pennsylvania today time of recording,
- 9:28Speaker 2: September fourth, Happy birthday, mam. And yes, mi'ma smooth yep.
- 9:35Speaker 2: So Trump is in Pennsylvania, and so is Walls. Anyways,
- 9:41Speaker 2: all right, so did John know black men's in Pittsburgh
- 9:45Speaker 2: were the first paramedics in the US?
- 9:49Speaker 3: Wow? Go ahead?
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, So, I mean, and then I looked it up
- 9:53Speaker 2: a step further to find out, like who will respond
- 9:57Speaker 2: to like medical emergencies and stuff, not just Karen calling you,
- 10:01Speaker 2: you know, the cops, so black people. So that before
- 10:07Speaker 2: then it was like the fire department or sometimes the
- 10:11Speaker 2: police would show up.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 2: So anyways, Uh, Pennsylvania was a witness to a game
- 10:21Speaker 2: changer in emergency services, entered the first black paramedics and
- 10:25Speaker 2: a state of inspiring that broke barriers and redefined what
- 10:30Speaker 2: is now meant to serve the community. We were the first.
- 10:36Speaker 2: If anybody tells you otherwise, they are wrong. We did
- 10:40Speaker 2: it period. Yep. Their legacy has paved the way for
- 10:44Speaker 2: future generations, inspiring young folks in urban communities to pursue
- 10:48Speaker 2: opportunities in emergency services and beyond. So that absolutely so
- 10:56Speaker 2: kicking out off if it were lyrics up next, Shelby
- 11:01Speaker 2: right back. The school year has just started.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Some people have only been in school for like two weeks,
- 11:08Speaker 5: and we are already experiencing these four people. Then all
- 11:12Speaker 5: two teachers and two students left their houses for the
- 11:15Speaker 5: last time this morning, and they loved one seeing them
- 11:17Speaker 5: for the last time, and they adn't even know it.
- 11:19Speaker 5: It was a fourteen year old gunman that did this.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Here's a visual representation of all the time, effident energy
- 11:26Speaker 5: that our legislators and policy maker spend when it comes
- 11:28Speaker 5: to protecting the schools from drag queens and dirty books.
- 11:31Speaker 5: But here's the actual impact that's happening to the kids
- 11:34Speaker 5: and the teachers in their classroom. Here's a tweet right
- 11:36Speaker 5: here from the Governor of Georgia. I directed all the
- 11:39Speaker 5: vailable resources to respond to the incident at Apalachi High
- 11:42Speaker 5: School and urge all Georgians to join my family in
- 11:44Speaker 5: praying for the safety of those in classrooms both Borrow
- 11:48Speaker 5: County and across the state. But here's a picture in
- 11:51Speaker 5: twenty twenty two of Governor Brian Kemp signing a Senate
- 11:55Speaker 5: Bill three nineteen, the law that allows for anyone to
- 11:58Speaker 5: carry a concealed handgun and public look without first obtaining
- 12:01Speaker 5: the license. We've been in school in America for only
- 12:04Speaker 5: literally like two weeks, maybe three weeks some places, and
- 12:07Speaker 5: we've already experiencing this American pastime. Pay attention to how
- 12:10Speaker 5: these policy makers talk about this incident. And remember this
- 12:13Speaker 5: when y'all going to the post. They say they want
- 12:15Speaker 5: to protect the children from the rainbow, and protected children
- 12:19Speaker 5: from the books, and protected children from the ideology that's
- 12:22Speaker 5: not splitting their blood. Man sure to NRA already spinning
- 12:26Speaker 5: in over time right now, and they already dropping them chicks.
- 12:30Speaker 1: You should, but defindently she would.
- 12:36Speaker 3: What's going on you guys? Set your girl, miss Lyric
- 12:38Speaker 3: And I'm back with my segment if it were Lyric,
- 12:40Speaker 3: where I give my two cents about your situationships your friendships,
- 12:45Speaker 3: your relationships, and everything in between. Thank you guys so
- 12:49Speaker 3: much for continuously sending me your advice questions. I love
- 12:53Speaker 3: to see them. Keep sending them to my Gmail at
- 12:57Speaker 3: Lark Bravado at gmail dot com. And also, if you
- 13:01Speaker 3: don't want to do that, you have options. You can
- 13:04Speaker 3: DM me. I'm on Instagram, Facebook, and I will take
- 13:09Speaker 3: a TikTok dm as well. All right, right, so let's
- 13:12Speaker 3: get started. My first one is anonymous, because let's just
- 13:19Speaker 3: keep it real. It's hot day and these are kind
- 13:22Speaker 3: of spicy today. So y'all strap in.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Okay, when you said spicy, I thought you meant like
- 13:27Speaker 2: spicy you mean horny?
- 13:29Speaker 3: Yeah, spicy? Okay, Anonymous, My hey, lyric. My husband watches porn.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Oh I want to.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Be okay with it? Naturally, he watches the exact opposite
- 13:49Speaker 3: of what I look like. The question is how do
- 13:53Speaker 3: you deal with it? Are you okay with your significant
- 13:57Speaker 3: other watching it? I want to believe my husband and
- 14:00Speaker 3: when he says I'm sexy in he loves my body
- 14:02Speaker 3: and having sex with me, But I have the hardest
- 14:05Speaker 3: time believing it when he actively searches and gets off
- 14:09Speaker 3: to other women. How do you not compare. I want
- 14:14Speaker 3: to have a better confidence and self esteem. We've been
- 14:17Speaker 3: happily together four years, so I know he must love
- 14:21Speaker 3: and be attracted to me to some degree. What would
- 14:24Speaker 3: you do if it were you, girl, I'd be watching
- 14:28Speaker 3: it too, to mean, oh, yes, absolutely, I don't see
- 14:35Speaker 3: there is anything wrong with watching it. If he's like,
- 14:39Speaker 3: if it's becoming an issue where he's taking more time
- 14:44Speaker 3: to watch that than spending time with you, I could
- 14:47Speaker 3: see where that could be an issue, But it doesn't
- 14:49Speaker 3: sound like that. It sounds like you all are still
- 14:52Speaker 3: maintaining a good relationship and a good sex life from
- 14:55Speaker 3: what you said. Men sometimes, in my personal opinion because
- 15:04Speaker 3: I'm not a man, but they sometimes like variety, and
- 15:09Speaker 3: then it could be something that those women are doing
- 15:13Speaker 3: in the porno that he is turning him on and
- 15:16Speaker 3: he's attracted to. So what I would advise you to
- 15:20Speaker 3: do is just watch some stuff with him sometimes and
- 15:23Speaker 3: then you let him watch what you like, you know
- 15:26Speaker 3: what I'm saying, have a conversation about what you like
- 15:29Speaker 3: and what he likes, and you know, compromise on a
- 15:32Speaker 3: happy medium because sex is supposed to be free between
- 15:37Speaker 3: both of you, except for stuff that you don't like
- 15:42Speaker 3: and consent to. But if you guys are actively having
- 15:45Speaker 3: sex with each other and he's telling you that he
- 15:47Speaker 3: loves you and he finds you sexy, girl, he does.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Men don't typically just say that to just be saying it.
- 15:54Speaker 3: He loves you, he has sex with you and enjoys it, apparently,
- 16:02Speaker 3: because that's what you said. So I would definitely just
- 16:06Speaker 3: spice up the relationship a little bit and have an
- 16:09Speaker 3: all out porn session with the two of you on
- 16:13Speaker 3: a date night when the kids ain't in the house.
- 16:15Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying. Just make it, keep it spicy.
- 16:18Speaker 3: You know, I wouldn't feel less confident in yourself because
- 16:24Speaker 3: that is a form of entertainment. He can never get
- 16:30Speaker 3: to those women. Those women are unattainable, and he has
- 16:36Speaker 3: the prize, which is you. So I hope that you
- 16:40Speaker 3: guys get spicy and try some new things, and maybe
- 16:44Speaker 3: you might surprise yourself and find that you like some
- 16:47Speaker 3: stuff that he likes and vice versa.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Well, I do like that advice, especially the part where
- 16:53Speaker 2: you told her that you know, you know, to try
- 16:56Speaker 2: or to like join in things like that. I think
- 17:00Speaker 2: that's good advice. Now, the part about them not lying
- 17:04Speaker 2: because niggas lie, y'all, stay live. I believe one of
- 17:08Speaker 2: the first things niggas learned to do is lie.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I understand that if he was doing something different
- 17:19Speaker 3: and it was like, you know, most men are our
- 17:24Speaker 3: routine creatures. They have a routine. If he's acting different
- 17:28Speaker 3: and he's not having sex with her, that often, this,
- 17:31Speaker 3: that and the third, Yeah, I would question it a
- 17:33Speaker 3: little bit, but it sounds to me like it's exactly
- 17:36Speaker 3: the same and she just has a problem with him
- 17:40Speaker 3: watching women who don't look like her.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Now, that makes sense, and I can see where the
- 17:44Speaker 2: insecurities come from, because nowadays you do have people out here.
- 17:48Speaker 2: It's so easy to lead double lives now the Internet
- 17:53Speaker 2: that made it so easy. But I get it, so yeah, definitely,
- 17:58Speaker 2: I think that's all sounds and a sound advice.
- 18:03Speaker 3: What got from me?
- 18:06Speaker 2: All right, dear lyric, I hope you take a moment
- 18:10Speaker 2: to read this, because I'm at my webs end. I'm
- 18:12Speaker 2: a black woman married to a black man who proudly
- 18:14Speaker 2: supports Trump, and let me tell you, it has been
- 18:18Speaker 2: a wild ride that I never signed up for. I
- 18:22Speaker 2: thought we shared the same values, but lately it feels
- 18:25Speaker 2: like We're living in two different worlds. Every day, I'm
- 18:29Speaker 2: bombarded with the realities of stemic racism, police brutality, and
- 18:34Speaker 2: in common economic disparity, and yet he seems unfocused. He
- 18:39Speaker 2: talks about quote pulling up, pulling yourself up by the bootstraps,
- 18:43Speaker 2: and how it's all about personal irresponsibility. I can't help
- 18:47Speaker 2: but feel like he's ignoring the very real struggles that
- 18:50Speaker 2: our community faces. It's as if he's chosen to overlook
- 18:54Speaker 2: the history and pain that come with being black in America.
- 18:58Speaker 2: What's worse is that he I'm sorry. What's worse is
- 19:02Speaker 2: the way that he defends his views after dismissing my
- 19:05Speaker 2: feelings as being too emotional or playing the race card.
- 19:10Speaker 2: I can't even express my frustrations without feeling like I'm
- 19:13Speaker 2: walking on eggshells. I love this man, but I'm struggling
- 19:16Speaker 2: to reconcile my love for him with the pain his
- 19:19Speaker 2: political beliefs caused me. How do I navigate this divide
- 19:24Speaker 2: without being I'm sorry without losing myself in the process.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I'm reaching out because I know I'm not the only
- 19:30Speaker 2: one dealing with this kind of conflict in my marriage.
- 19:33Speaker 2: I need advice on how to communicate effectively with him
- 19:37Speaker 2: while standing firm in my beliefs. How do I get
- 19:40Speaker 2: through to him without turning into a heated without it
- 19:43Speaker 2: turning into a heated argument? If it were you, what
- 19:46Speaker 2: would you do? I appreciate your time and any insight
- 19:48Speaker 2: you can offer, Sincerely, a frustrated white heart emojis.
- 19:53Speaker 3: Okay, so two things, two things that I have one
- 20:03Speaker 3: before you got married. These conversations are dire to have
- 20:07Speaker 3: with each other. Political views, child raising, religion, those are
- 20:17Speaker 3: very important to talk with someone who you intend to
- 20:24Speaker 3: spend your life with. Sure, if you are not in
- 20:30Speaker 3: a place where you all see eye to eye on
- 20:34Speaker 3: mostly everything, you are what is called an equally yoked ooh,
- 20:42Speaker 3: And that can be a serious problem. Now, since you're
- 20:46Speaker 3: already in it and you already feel like this is
- 20:54Speaker 3: going to cause a problem. But you love him and
- 20:58Speaker 3: it doesn't sound like you intend to leave. What you
- 21:01Speaker 3: have to do for yourself and for your peace of
- 21:04Speaker 3: mind is to agree and disagree. If you feel like
- 21:09Speaker 3: it's going to be an argument or he's going to
- 21:13Speaker 3: say something to hurt hurt your feelings about your views,
- 21:19Speaker 3: you don't have to engage. That's the beauty of it.
- 21:22Speaker 3: You don't have to have a conversation with something that's
- 21:25Speaker 3: going to upset you. He already feels how he feels,
- 21:30Speaker 3: and that could be due to his upbringing, how he
- 21:34Speaker 3: was raised, where he used to live, his surroundings, his environment,
- 21:42Speaker 3: all of these things, like I said, you should have
- 21:45Speaker 3: been aware of before you chose to marry this man.
- 21:49Speaker 3: So now that you're in it, unless that you plan
- 21:52Speaker 3: to leave because this is a major deal breaker. Unfortunately,
- 21:57Speaker 3: you're not going to change this person's mind. It's already
- 22:00Speaker 3: embedded in him, just like your views are already embedded
- 22:03Speaker 3: in you. So now the only thing that you can
- 22:07Speaker 3: do is just find a happy medium.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Run girl, Run.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Run. I ain't gonna tell nobody to leave their spouse.
- 22:19Speaker 3: You know your deal breakers. You know what you can
- 22:26Speaker 3: deal with and what you cannot deal with. I'm going
- 22:30Speaker 3: to say is if this is one of them, then
- 22:33Speaker 3: do what you need to do. If it is not,
- 22:38Speaker 3: find a happy medium to where you don't have these
- 22:41Speaker 3: type of conversations that will get you out your back.
- 22:44Speaker 3: And that's my advice on that. Cool We sure do last,
- 22:54Speaker 3: but not least all right. This one comes from Lisa
- 23:05Speaker 3: dear lyric me and my partner have been married for
- 23:08Speaker 3: four years and share two daughters together. I have an
- 23:13Speaker 3: issue with something. Though he has told me before that
- 23:16Speaker 3: he has used escorts, oh not many times before we
- 23:21Speaker 3: got married, not while we were dating. This was in
- 23:25Speaker 3: the past, and I tried to ask him why. He
- 23:29Speaker 3: explained that he had self esteem issues and he was
- 23:33Speaker 3: afraid that he couldn't get an erection with a woman.
- 23:36Speaker 3: He recently told me that he had used one just
- 23:41Speaker 3: one month before we met. He has been completely honest
- 23:45Speaker 3: with me the whole time. Granted, he is a wonderful guy,
- 23:49Speaker 3: somewhat concerned about equality and always had many female friends.
- 23:56Speaker 3: He is nice looking, not ugly or anything like that.
- 23:59Speaker 3: I just can't accept it. I can feel that it
- 24:02Speaker 3: really bothers me. I really feel like it's horrible to
- 24:06Speaker 3: buy women for sexual pleasure, knowing how many of them
- 24:10Speaker 3: have been traumatized as children, and the whole idea about
- 24:14Speaker 3: you buying sex from someone and not knowing bothers me.
- 24:21Speaker 3: I'm having such a difficult time just being close to
- 24:23Speaker 3: him now, knowing this part of his past. What do
- 24:27Speaker 3: I do? Should we seek couple's therapy? Why can't I
- 24:31Speaker 3: accept that the past is the past girl, Lisa, Lisa, Lisa, Lisa, Lisa,
- 24:45Speaker 3: You're gonna have to let that go with Everybody has
- 24:51Speaker 3: a past, and everybody has done things that they are
- 24:55Speaker 3: necessarily one hundred percent proud of because everybody is flawed.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Nobody on this earth is perfect. We're all just trying
- 25:03Speaker 3: to navigate this thing called life the best way we can.
- 25:07Speaker 3: And for him to be open enough to share that
- 25:11Speaker 3: with you and to tell you that it was a
- 25:13Speaker 3: self esteem issue that he has, he really trusts you
- 25:17Speaker 3: with this information.
- 25:19Speaker 2: That's facts, because niggas don't do that. I'll tell you that.
- 25:23Speaker 3: Instead of keeping it from you to where you could
- 25:27Speaker 3: have found out about it later and then been pissed
- 25:29Speaker 3: off if he hadn't come and told you about it,
- 25:32Speaker 3: he was open and honest about what some of the
- 25:36Speaker 3: things that he's done and experienced. I don't feel as
- 25:39Speaker 3: though you should be taking this personally, because, like I said,
- 25:43Speaker 3: everybody has a pass, and it's not right for you
- 25:45Speaker 3: to judge him, because who's judging you. I'm quite sure
- 25:50Speaker 3: that you've had some situations where you wasn't your one
- 25:55Speaker 3: hundred percent.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Best just one time in band camp.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Yeah, Orgies, I'm just playing I'm not quitting theories on nobody,
- 26:07Speaker 3: but I'm just saying like people have done things in
- 26:10Speaker 3: their past and have experienced certain things that they're not
- 26:14Speaker 3: proud of. This wasn't one of his proudest moments, and
- 26:17Speaker 3: instead of thinking about it and internalizing it and making
- 26:23Speaker 3: it yours, you notice a little bit of compassion that
- 26:27Speaker 3: he was open enough and honest to tell you and
- 26:29Speaker 3: to trust you with this thing that was an obvious
- 26:33Speaker 3: burden to him. Do I feel as though this is
- 26:38Speaker 3: something that you need couples counseling for? No, not really,
- 26:44Speaker 3: I feel like you may need some counseling yourself to
- 26:50Speaker 3: understand why that you're taking his past and you're making
- 26:54Speaker 3: it your own and now and now making it an
- 26:56Speaker 3: issue when it shouldn't be like that. Couples should be
- 26:59Speaker 3: able to talk to each other about everything cool, openly
- 27:06Speaker 3: and honest and not afraid that their partner is going
- 27:10Speaker 3: to use what they say against them. And that's an essence.
- 27:14Speaker 3: What you're doing, Sweetie, is wrong. You married him for
- 27:19Speaker 3: a reason instead of thinking too hard about his past.
- 27:25Speaker 3: How about you focus on your future. You need therapy,
- 27:31Speaker 3: not him. I believe everybody in this instance, She asks
- 27:39Speaker 3: specifically about couple's therapy. Now, I don't feel like they
- 27:42Speaker 3: need couple's therapy to get over that.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Sure, go to some of the wargies with him, But
- 27:49Speaker 2: I mean, if.
- 27:50Speaker 3: She's if she's feeling a way, maybe she needs to
- 27:53Speaker 3: talk to someone to express her feelings on why she's
- 27:57Speaker 3: feeling that. That's not necessarily a fault for him. That's
- 28:02Speaker 3: her problem, you know, I feel you. That is my
- 28:06Speaker 3: advice for you, Lisa. Thank you guys. Once again, I'm
- 28:10Speaker 3: about done. If you guys want to continue to send
- 28:14Speaker 3: me your advice questions, I am more than welcome to
- 28:17Speaker 3: take them again. My email is Lyric Provider at gmail
- 28:21Speaker 3: dot com and I also take dms on three social
- 28:26Speaker 3: media platforms TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook at only fans Now that's.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Right, all right? So, speaking of ticket man, we are
- 28:43Speaker 2: doing a segment. It's uh, throw them the timeline and markets.
- 28:47Speaker 6: Up next beg the Stallion called somebody off of smoking
- 28:50Speaker 6: at her concert and that has started the monthly debate
- 28:52Speaker 6: between weed whackers and those who don't like gardening.
- 28:55Speaker 3: If you catch my drift personally, I.
- 28:57Speaker 6: Have friends with wata okay that the chain't never done
- 29:00Speaker 6: me wrong. We don't have a codependent relationship. We are copasthetic.
- 29:04Speaker 6: I don't typically debate with non smokers because I don't
- 29:07Speaker 6: really give a fuck.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Oh, y'all are fiends. It's not lady like, baby.
- 29:11Speaker 6: I'm built like a joint.
- 29:12Speaker 3: It's meant to be fuck all that shit.
- 29:13Speaker 6: But there is also a such thing as tree etiquette.
- 29:17Speaker 6: For instance, I don't smoke around pregnant people or children.
- 29:20Speaker 3: That's just a given.
- 29:21Speaker 6: Nor do I do it in rooms where other people
- 29:23Speaker 6: are present, unless they do it too, or they say
- 29:25Speaker 6: that it's explicitly okay. This includes parks, concerts, and other venues. Now,
- 29:31Speaker 6: I do like to be lifted at certain events. I
- 29:33Speaker 6: was at the meg the Stallion concert. But that's why
- 29:36Speaker 6: edibles exist. Smoke can trigger certain conditions. Bitches got asthma.
- 29:40Speaker 6: I've left concerts with a headache because of excessive smoke.
- 29:44Speaker 3: It just it ain't that deep.
- 29:45Speaker 6: Taking edible and lastly, breaks are good bard medical reasons.
- 29:49Speaker 6: If you find that you can't not smoke, then you
- 29:52Speaker 6: may have a little dependence, and that's why you can't
- 29:55Speaker 6: go anywhere without doing it.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Friend, your time, all right, we're back and welcome to
- 30:07Speaker 2: a segment of trolling the timeline with Lyric and Marcus.
- 30:11Speaker 2: So miss Lyrics not a whole I don't know. Has
- 30:15Speaker 2: a lot been going on? Okay, so every now and
- 30:18Speaker 2: again I'll do this disengage where I literally unplugged myself
- 30:23Speaker 2: from the world because you have to take a break.
- 30:25Speaker 2: So I ain't been I ain't been deep deep, but
- 30:29Speaker 2: I've been you know, surface level entertainment week. So uh,
- 30:34Speaker 2: let's see. You mentioned Glenn Close earlier. What you got
- 30:37Speaker 2: about her? What's going on?
- 30:41Speaker 3: Apparently Lee Daniels had people in an uproar on Facebook
- 30:47Speaker 3: because in the movie Deliverance, which is based on a
- 30:52Speaker 3: true story, the woman that played Glenn Close it's originally
- 31:01Speaker 3: black but character, I'm sorry, it's originally black, and people
- 31:08Speaker 3: had a problem with that.
- 31:11Speaker 2: Wait, okay, no, I get it, but okay, so why
- 31:15Speaker 2: was that actor or why was that actress? Are they
- 31:19Speaker 2: removing the gender things? Anyways? Why was the actress? You know,
- 31:24Speaker 2: why wasn't she cat? Is it because she was black?
- 31:28Speaker 2: Or did she just like turn down the role?
- 31:31Speaker 3: I do not know why he cast her to play
- 31:37Speaker 3: the mom, I mean with the grandmother. But people were
- 31:43Speaker 3: very angry because if something is based on a true story,
- 31:47Speaker 3: most people tend to, you know, stay as close to
- 31:53Speaker 3: what it is it's possible. And then he made a comment.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Oh hell, here we go. He Tyler Perry this up,
- 32:06Speaker 2: didn't he?
- 32:08Speaker 3: Yes? So he posted on Instagram on August twenty seventh,
- 32:13Speaker 3: and he said, in regards to Glenn Close's character, every
- 32:17Speaker 3: black person knows in Alberta. She's part of the fabric
- 32:22Speaker 3: of our community, but we've never seen her on screen before.
- 32:26Speaker 3: Thank you Glenn Close. Oh bringing her magnificently to life.
- 32:33Speaker 3: And people lost their shit.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because I've seen status messages saying, you know, like,
- 32:41Speaker 2: you know, going at Lee Daniels talking about not everybody
- 32:44Speaker 2: knows in Alberta and then I guess I saw it
- 32:48Speaker 2: and just like scroll past it and didn't.
- 32:50Speaker 7: Look with him.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Huh.
- 32:53Speaker 2: So, so he's basically saying that in every community, somebody
- 33:00Speaker 2: got a white mama that can smell their nappy pussy.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Like I.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Have no idea, but one comment on Facebook was like,
- 33:14Speaker 3: we always are quick to praise a white person for
- 33:18Speaker 3: doing what black women are talked talked about, talk down about.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Uh ooh that is that is so for people.
- 33:33Speaker 3: For people to hear him say that and give her
- 33:36Speaker 3: that type of praise and say that she's a pinnacle
- 33:38Speaker 3: part of the black community. It pissed a lot of people.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Off, and deservedly so, because you know what people do.
- 33:46Speaker 2: They sit there and they get down on black women
- 33:49Speaker 2: anytime that they are spicy, anytime that they speak up
- 33:51Speaker 2: for themselves, anytime that they're assertive in the ways that
- 33:55Speaker 2: you don't like. Then you're all ready to say something
- 33:58Speaker 2: to black women about it. But then, oh wow, yeah, this.
- 34:03Speaker 8: Is no, that's that's too, that's swoot. That's a good question.
- 34:12Speaker 8: Why do y'all feel that way?
- 34:15Speaker 3: Hmmm mm hmm.
- 34:17Speaker 2: All right, let me scroll through. Uh let's see Nicki
- 34:21Speaker 2: Minaj announce his upcoming album release. Oh wow, uh uh
- 34:27Speaker 2: uh all right, So if this is any okay, so
- 34:32Speaker 2: if that response to uh that dince foreshadow anything that's
- 34:38Speaker 2: to come in this album, she can keep it. Oh yeah,
- 34:42Speaker 2: she can keep it. And I mean.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Meghan ate her at.
- 34:50Speaker 2: She ate stomped, h tap dance, all of that bro
- 34:56Speaker 2: bad toe and all all of.
- 34:57Speaker 3: That, because I mean that's all you could talk about
- 35:01Speaker 3: was her, was her getting shot in the foot? Now
- 35:06Speaker 3: when she said that line about that Megan's law, Yeah,
- 35:13Speaker 3: she won.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Won'd at.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Period when she said that, I was like, Oh, she
- 35:23Speaker 3: ain't have to eat her up like that. But guess
- 35:27Speaker 3: what she talked about her deceased mom and all types
- 35:31Speaker 3: of stuff.
- 35:32Speaker 2: So you and kept repeating it, like kept repeating it,
- 35:35Speaker 2: and I'm like, this is weird. This is what mm hmmm.
- 35:41Speaker 2: I feel like she let the barbs right there for
- 35:43Speaker 2: because you know, they be tweeting ship like that it was.
- 35:49Speaker 2: And then her husband, you know, he in the news
- 35:51Speaker 2: for he's saying I heard somebody say that they're suing
- 35:57Speaker 2: her husband because he assaulted one of her fans.
- 36:03Speaker 3: He probably did. I mean, he comes from a long
- 36:07Speaker 3: line of criminal activities, so.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Well, the discussion that I saw going back and forth
- 36:12Speaker 2: was like whether or not you know, he had the
- 36:17Speaker 2: right because I guess some niggas are saying that he's
- 36:20Speaker 2: part of her security detail. Other people are saying, wait,
- 36:25Speaker 2: what does he do for a living, because nobody can
- 36:28Speaker 2: seem to find actually what this nigga does to bring
- 36:31Speaker 2: in a paycheck that's not associated with Nikki. So you
- 36:37Speaker 2: got a little of that going on.
- 36:39Speaker 3: I mean, with the charges that he has, I'm quite
- 36:43Speaker 3: sure it's not that easy to find a job. So
- 36:47Speaker 3: she had to you know, hire him.
- 36:50Speaker 2: This is true. Uh, here's something good. Chadwick Bozeman. His
- 36:54Speaker 2: legacy is celebrated at an award I'm Sorry at an
- 36:58Speaker 2: annual film festival Okay yep. The annual Film Festival in
- 37:02Speaker 2: Los angele Let's pay tribute to the late Chadwick Bozeman,
- 37:06Speaker 2: highlighting his impactful roles and cultural significance in Hollywood. The
- 37:10Speaker 2: event featured screenings of his most memorable films and discussions
- 37:14Speaker 2: about his contributions to the representation of black characters in cinema.
- 37:19Speaker 3: I love that, so did I got time A.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Speaking of things, I can't wait for East Array. She
- 37:30Speaker 2: is to start in a new romantic comedy series. Oh okay, Yeah,
- 37:35Speaker 2: she's officially signed on to start in a new romantic
- 37:38Speaker 2: comedy series that promises to blend humor with heartfelt moments,
- 37:44Speaker 2: which has given me. You know, that's that's her thing.
- 37:47Speaker 2: I love it when I tell you Issa is good
- 37:50Speaker 2: at that shit too.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 37:52Speaker 2: She is just like that girl that you know, like
- 37:55Speaker 2: that you can relate to, and she just fits in
- 37:58Speaker 2: every situation. Y they're always yew. There's maybe ansa in
- 38:04Speaker 2: everybody's community. I don't know about that. Alberta. Right, there's definitely.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Definitely, definitely, definitely is going to give what it's supposed
- 38:14Speaker 3: to have been gays right time. So I'm looking forward
- 38:18Speaker 3: to that too. Well.
- 38:19Speaker 2: It says the show aims to explore the complexities of
- 38:22Speaker 2: modern relationships while showcasing the vibrant experiences of black loves,
- 38:27Speaker 2: so that we don't have a whole lot of because
- 38:30Speaker 2: every love story that's widely you know, looked at Tyler
- 38:34Speaker 2: berried and wrote it and we talked about that soular ship.
- 38:38Speaker 3: And speaking of broken hearts, Tamar Braxton is back in
- 38:42Speaker 3: the news because her extras has been creeping off with
- 38:47Speaker 3: a twenty five year old man.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Okay but okay, So I also saw that he had
- 38:55Speaker 2: posted something. Was that him that post that white man
- 38:57Speaker 2: that posted about he's been single for six months and
- 39:03Speaker 2: him and Tamar aren't together anymore and YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 39:08Speaker 3: So he got on there and said he been broken off.
- 39:11Speaker 3: She's delusional and he's been asking her to respect his
- 39:16Speaker 3: boundaries and he alleges that she is a mass manipulator.
- 39:22Speaker 3: He got on Instagram and said, I need to finally
- 39:28Speaker 3: tell my story because I've been single for a minute. Now,
- 39:32Speaker 3: so I'm sure she gonna clap back if she hasn't already,
- 39:36Speaker 3: I just haven't seen it, but yild, it's gonna get messy.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Let's see. Uh it's Beyonce's birthday and my mother's birthday.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Hey, that's fine a birthday. Yeah. And speaking of messy,
- 39:58Speaker 3: Saucy Santana rec x to Zel telling him that he
- 40:03Speaker 3: got a woman pregnant that he met in Mexico.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Who's got a woman pregnant?
- 40:11Speaker 3: Yell his ax? Oh love and hip hop?
- 40:15Speaker 2: He no, no, I know what you're talking about.
- 40:18Speaker 6: It.
- 40:18Speaker 3: I was just trying to say, Saucy Santana says, I
- 40:22Speaker 3: think Zell is bored and desperate.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Wow, wow, yep.
- 40:32Speaker 3: And it's so funny because a couple of weeks ago,
- 40:36Speaker 3: I saw him post a picture with his ex girl.
- 40:42Speaker 3: He used, I think it was his baby mom. She's
- 40:45Speaker 3: pregnant again. They're about to have a child. And he
- 40:50Speaker 3: says that he does not want to be gay anymore.
- 40:56Speaker 3: He's he wants to marry his child's mother, and he's
- 41:04Speaker 3: over his previous lifestyle. So I'm like, oh, messy, messy boots.
- 41:15Speaker 2: So they was listening or was watching the news when
- 41:19Speaker 2: I woke up this morning, Right, so I woke up
- 41:23Speaker 2: to fucking Laura Trump, Oh my god, and that goddamn
- 41:30Speaker 2: single she just released. Did you see that bullshit?
- 41:33Speaker 3: I have not, and I'm not refused to.
- 41:38Speaker 2: I was assaulted with the first thing this morning. It
- 41:42Speaker 2: sounds oh so yeah, do with that what you will?
- 41:48Speaker 3: No, No, it's a fly.
- 41:58Speaker 2: I'm just saying, from one singer to an another. I think,
- 42:02Speaker 2: what if she wanted to sign you what? She can't
- 42:11Speaker 2: be bought like the rest of y'all?
- 42:14Speaker 3: All right, you be that breasted?
- 42:16Speaker 2: Is there anything else on this goddamn list that I'm
- 42:19Speaker 2: looking at? Okay, Kendrick, what what you got?
- 42:25Speaker 3: So you know D DG and the Little Mermaid had
- 42:31Speaker 3: a baby, Yes, Hayley Berry and the her their son's
- 42:38Speaker 3: name is Halo. Well, everybody is now obsessed with a
- 42:45Speaker 3: particular picture that they took, and he is now the
- 42:47Speaker 3: newest mean.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Oh well, at least he's a mean for being a
- 42:52Speaker 2: good father, because you know the.
- 42:54Speaker 3: Baby is a mean.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Oh well, ship, what did they do to the baby?
- 43:00Speaker 3: So in the picture, the baby is just looking looking
- 43:05Speaker 3: away and he has this like concerned look, and so
- 43:08Speaker 3: now people have been tagging that picture saying things like
- 43:15Speaker 3: this is how I look when I go look at
- 43:17Speaker 3: my bank account and I see zero, zero dollars and
- 43:20Speaker 3: two cents.
- 43:21Speaker 2: No, so you know where that you know where the
- 43:23Speaker 2: actual mean came from? Right?
- 43:26Speaker 3: No?
- 43:27Speaker 2: Okay? So the basically a video surface of him or
- 43:31Speaker 2: he went live and he's playing with the baby and everything,
- 43:35Speaker 2: which again is adorable and that's why the Internet ain't
- 43:38Speaker 2: mad at him no more for you know, dating this
- 43:41Speaker 2: girl and being you know him. But long story short,
- 43:45Speaker 2: he's playing with the baby and stuff, and while he's
- 43:50Speaker 2: over the baby, he's sitting there talking to him and
- 43:52Speaker 2: it's like you know when when you get in trouble
- 43:57Speaker 2: or whatever. I forget exactly what it was, but basically
- 44:00Speaker 2: he was saying that your mom will be the one
- 44:04Speaker 2: to pick you up and dust you off, and I'm
- 44:06Speaker 2: gonna tell you to toughen it up and be out there,
- 44:09Speaker 2: and like the baby gives out a big, huge ass
- 44:13Speaker 2: side and makes that face. Oh yeah it was. That
- 44:18Speaker 2: baby was like, here we go with this misogyny bullshit,
- 44:23Speaker 2: like you.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Want to lie? I laugh. No, I'm gonna take nothing serious.
- 44:29Speaker 3: You're home alone and you hear a noise and posted
- 44:32Speaker 3: the picture every time I see a sizzling for heat
- 44:37Speaker 3: to play at Fridays like, y'all are crazy cute, precious.
- 44:45Speaker 2: Please y'all ain't doing that ratchet with it because the internet.
- 44:50Speaker 2: All right, well, I don't care about nothing else. My segment, Yeah,
- 44:54Speaker 2: I'm pretty all right, so moving right along. My segment
- 44:59Speaker 2: is up. Now what did I call it this week?
- 45:01Speaker 2: I wrote it down? Oh tallages, oh wown? Yeah, so yep,
- 45:08Speaker 2: be right back.
- 45:09Speaker 9: Well you have to think it's a line here on, Aaron,
- 45:11Speaker 9: come on, I'll do my I'll do my best without
- 45:15Speaker 9: any music or anything.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Okay, well, lie loom back down, no bomb, back down.
- 45:26Speaker 9: You can stand me up at the gates of hell.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Mom back down, and more to come.
- 45:37Speaker 5: The students help drag the teacher that was shot back
- 45:40Speaker 5: into the classroom after the gunman opened fire side of
- 45:43Speaker 5: high school. The more we learned about the story, the
- 45:46Speaker 5: worst and traumatic it gets. The students said that her
- 45:49Speaker 5: and her classmates were instatistics class when they heard someone
- 45:52Speaker 5: beating on the locker outside the classroom. She says her
- 45:55Speaker 5: teacher went out to investigate, and that's when they heard
- 45:57Speaker 5: a shot. Their teacher fell back into the doorway at
- 46:00Speaker 5: their classroom. All I hear is boom boom boom. We
- 46:03Speaker 5: all booked it down. Everyone was crying. Karrigan said, there's
- 46:06Speaker 5: a scary moment. Kerrigan said that as a police were
- 46:08Speaker 5: escorting our side, he saw a shooting shot near the bathroom.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Like Mutual was saying on Twitter, those brave babies in
- 46:15Speaker 5: Georgia had to drag their teacher's body out the hallway
- 46:18Speaker 5: back into the classroom and barricade themselves inside while waiting
- 46:22Speaker 5: to help and also trying trying to perform trauma care.
- 46:25Speaker 5: The teacher died right in front of them when they
- 46:28Speaker 5: were waiting for help.
- 46:29Speaker 2: If that happened, it's the tists class.
- 46:31Speaker 5: These kids would never view math stats of numbers the same.
- 46:35Speaker 5: And what's sad is that these folks view feminism and
- 46:38Speaker 5: drag queens. Then story houry, it's the biggest threat to
- 46:40Speaker 5: these children in the classroom.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Meanwhile, this is what's happening.
- 46:44Speaker 5: A fourteen year old did this. They more worried about
- 46:47Speaker 5: whether the fourteen year old is getting dragged queen books
- 46:49Speaker 5: or freaky books. Whole time they can't access the fire
- 46:53Speaker 5: all and wreak havoc on the entire school district while
- 46:57Speaker 5: making the entire world watch of this American pastime that
- 47:01Speaker 5: happens in school. But they say they cared about the kids,
- 47:03Speaker 5: though they don't never have that same energy when it
- 47:05Speaker 5: comes to this though, huh and r a money spend good.
- 47:08Speaker 2: I guess Marg, just as you live, I'll call this
- 47:15Speaker 2: rant caucages because at this point, I don't know how
- 47:20Speaker 2: this Trump support ship has not been diagnosed as some
- 47:24Speaker 2: sort of a serious mental health issue, Like I just
- 47:28Speaker 2: don't so the have I told have I talked about
- 47:36Speaker 2: on the podcast about the co worker with the Trump
- 47:39Speaker 2: Vance bumper.
- 47:41Speaker 3: Sticker, I don't believe, so I can't recall.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Mentioned them online. But I'm just coworker Trump Vance bumper
- 47:50Speaker 2: sticker and every time that So the first time I
- 47:57Speaker 2: started really talking about him, it was right after the
- 48:00Speaker 2: movie Twisters came back out or came out, and he
- 48:05Speaker 2: was talking about well, I mean, I think the movie
- 48:08Speaker 2: is so stupid because I mean, you're talking about the
- 48:11Speaker 2: people in the movie. It's just dumb, because why would
- 48:14Speaker 2: you want to blow up a tornado? And I'm like, okay,
- 48:19Speaker 2: so who's gonna tell him? Because that's exactly what Trump
- 48:25Speaker 2: was trying to do years ago. But anyways, all that aside.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Today in his latest antics God, he tells me about
- 48:35Speaker 2: his kid. Now he automatically starts talking to this is
- 48:39Speaker 2: why I don't talk to people. So he had started
- 48:42Speaker 2: talking to me, and I'm like, immediately anxiety, because anytime
- 48:49Speaker 2: you're talking to him in particular, it's always something weird.
- 48:54Speaker 2: So he starts talking about how Baltimore County schools aren't
- 48:58Speaker 2: shit and and the reason why is because his kid.
- 49:03Speaker 2: He had just gotten off the phone with this teacher,
- 49:06Speaker 2: I'm sorry, with his child's teacher, and she's irate and
- 49:11Speaker 2: upset that his son has now struck another student. Wow. Well,
- 49:17Speaker 2: the issue is he's saying that they've had multiple conversations
- 49:22Speaker 2: with this teacher before about this, about his kid having
- 49:28Speaker 2: a problem with the other kid in the class that
- 49:32Speaker 2: struggles with autism, that is autistic. Rather, the issue has escalated,
- 49:42Speaker 2: but I guess the from what I could tell from
- 49:46Speaker 2: the coworker, he was saying that he's told the teacher
- 49:49Speaker 2: before to just move his kid and don't have his
- 49:52Speaker 2: kid around the autistic kid. Right, Okay, Well apparently that
- 49:59Speaker 2: wasn't enough, and now the kid, I mean, they're in
- 50:03Speaker 2: the same class, right, and now the kid has struck
- 50:07Speaker 2: the autistic kid.
- 50:09Speaker 3: Oh lord, drama.
- 50:13Speaker 2: So he then goes around to everybody else and he's
- 50:17Speaker 2: explained in this situation, Oh well, I mean, I'm not
- 50:19Speaker 2: telling you because he tells me. And then my response
- 50:23Speaker 2: to him was okay, and you telling me out loud,
- 50:26Speaker 2: that made sense to you. And he didn't appreciate my response.
- 50:31Speaker 2: So he started asking other people and he's like, you know,
- 50:33Speaker 2: I told him to keep them away and this, that
- 50:35Speaker 2: and the third, and of course I didn't engage because
- 50:38Speaker 2: it's not my business. But my whole point is you're
- 50:41Speaker 2: teaching your child that it's okay that if they don't
- 50:45Speaker 2: like something about somebody, that it's okay to hit. Like
- 50:49Speaker 2: the kids not hitting them, the kids not doing it.
- 50:52Speaker 2: You just don't like the fact that they're autistic, they're weird,
- 50:55Speaker 2: they make you uncomfortable, they do things differently, they whatever.
- 51:00Speaker 2: That's not a good enough reason to hit someone, right.
- 51:06Speaker 2: And the issue that I have is that again, he
- 51:11Speaker 2: has the Trump Vance bumper sticker, and I'm seeing more
- 51:14Speaker 2: of these supporters becoming more emboldened to do things like this,
- 51:20Speaker 2: and I'm just like, wow, I'm really watching Tomorrow's problem
- 51:25Speaker 2: manifest like right in front of my eyes, because your
- 51:28Speaker 2: conversation with your child isn't hey, you shouldn't hit, or hey,
- 51:34Speaker 2: let's talk about diversity, or hey, let me educate you
- 51:37Speaker 2: on learning disabilities, Like none of these conversations are what
- 51:41Speaker 2: you're talking about having. You're literally talking about I'm not
- 51:45Speaker 2: saying shit to my kid because I already told the
- 51:47Speaker 2: teacher not to put him that what. So anytime that
- 51:53Speaker 2: you just don't like something, you just erase it or
- 51:57Speaker 2: you just hit it, are you just attacking?
- 52:00Speaker 3: Isn't that okay?
- 52:01Speaker 2: It's not? And it's the way that the world has been,
- 52:04Speaker 2: Like this is the narrative. Why why why is this
- 52:11Speaker 2: not a mental health crisis at this point? And it
- 52:15Speaker 2: should be call cages. Put y'all's asses in cages. See
- 52:20Speaker 2: how y'all like it right? Or not even or just
- 52:23Speaker 2: get them the mental like I don't even know at
- 52:26Speaker 2: this point, mass mental health out, Like what the fuck?
- 52:30Speaker 3: First of all, it should be free.
- 52:32Speaker 2: It should, it very well should, but it's not. And
- 52:37Speaker 2: for that reason alone, you got a whole lot of
- 52:39Speaker 2: these crazies walking around with these ideals that it's okay
- 52:44Speaker 2: to let your children just hit someone off of the
- 52:47Speaker 2: strength of them being autistic and it annoying you.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Because guess what snacks. I don't like. I don't like
- 52:56Speaker 3: that black kid. I don't like none of these black kids.
- 52:58Speaker 3: I'm gonna go hit them. I'm like the Asian kid.
- 53:01Speaker 3: I'm gonna go hit them. And it starts from there.
- 53:06Speaker 3: But like I always say, it starts from home.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Just get these people. Get them. Somebody do something. I
- 53:16Speaker 2: don't even know what you say. All ages. That's it.
- 53:19Speaker 2: Second happened, Show up next.
- 53:22Speaker 10: Kamala Harris just went off script during her rally in
- 53:25Speaker 10: New Hampshire to comment on the tragic school shooting that
- 53:29Speaker 10: just took place in winder Georgia. Take a listen to this.
- 53:33Speaker 11: So before I begin, I do want to say a
- 53:35Speaker 11: few words about this tragic shooting that took place this
- 53:40Speaker 11: morning in winder Georgia. We're still gathering information about.
- 53:45Speaker 7: What happened, but we know that there were multiple fatalities
- 53:49Speaker 7: and injuries, and you know, our hearts are with all
- 53:55Speaker 7: the students, the teachers and their families, of course, and
- 53:58Speaker 7: we are grateful to the responders and the law enforcement
- 54:01Speaker 7: that we're on the scene. But this is just a
- 54:03Speaker 7: senseless tragedy on top of so many senseless tragedies. And
- 54:08Speaker 7: it's just outrageous that every day in our country, in
- 54:12Speaker 7: the United States of America, that parents have to send
- 54:16Speaker 7: their children to school worried about whether or not their
- 54:21Speaker 7: child will come home alive. It's senseless.
- 54:24Speaker 11: It is We got to stop it, and we have
- 54:28Speaker 11: to end this epidemic of gun violence in our country
- 54:31Speaker 11: once and for all. You know, it doesn't have to
- 54:34Speaker 11: be this way. It doesn't have to be this way.
- 54:37Speaker 10: She's right, it doesn't have to be this way. And
- 54:40Speaker 10: she has offered a solution to this crisis, which is
- 54:43Speaker 10: that she will sign an assault weapons band should that
- 54:46Speaker 10: bill cross her desk if she is elected. Totally opposite
- 54:51Speaker 10: to what Donald Trump wants. A guy who after the
- 54:54Speaker 10: tragic school shooting in Iowa said quote, we have to
- 54:57Speaker 10: get over it. That is because he is funded by
- 55:01Speaker 10: the NR.
- 55:02Speaker 2: Take us to.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Work, take us ago, take us wherever you go. RTR
- 55:07Speaker 1: Real Talk Radio.
- 55:08Speaker 2: All right, inside the second half of the show right
- 55:10Speaker 2: here on WRTR Real Talk or Radio. And if you've
- 55:13Speaker 2: listened to this podcast before, you know it's all downhill
- 55:16Speaker 2: from here. All right, So I'm gonna start with some
- 55:20Speaker 2: unsolicited advice because I know y'all need it ready.
- 55:25Speaker 3: Yep.
- 55:26Speaker 2: Now, I don't know who needs to hear this, but
- 55:31Speaker 2: you cannot simply cannot put a draw four on top
- 55:39Speaker 2: of another four. Stop to make somebody draw eight. You
- 55:46Speaker 2: cannot do it. It's not doable. How do you play
- 55:49Speaker 2: this lyric? I'm illegally, Oh so you be sacking.
- 55:57Speaker 3: But even after you know came out and said that
- 56:02Speaker 3: there was not the rules, I'm like, I played the
- 56:05Speaker 3: Black Way.
- 56:07Speaker 2: And then y'all haven gave it a name the Black Way.
- 56:09Speaker 2: People can sit there and be talking about, oh, you
- 56:12Speaker 2: don't play the Nigga way. You be talking about black
- 56:14Speaker 2: this black that you don't play the Nigga way. Why
- 56:18Speaker 2: the Nigga way always got to be the wrong ship
- 56:22Speaker 2: making up your own. Let me tell you something.
- 56:25Speaker 3: People be so mad. They be so mad reverse you thought, yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 3: m cards.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Way, yo, y'all be cheating. Don't be making up ship.
- 56:44Speaker 2: I hate it. That's why I like playing online, because
- 56:46Speaker 2: when you play online, they don't let y'all be doing it.
- 56:50Speaker 2: The Black Way online is the actual way. Speaking of
- 56:55Speaker 2: cutting corners, what's up with y'all in Chase?
- 56:58Speaker 3: Well, you hear.
- 56:59Speaker 2: About this book? Shit TikTok trend. So, uh, there's a
- 57:04Speaker 2: TikTok trend that trended over the weekend where some video
- 57:10Speaker 2: told people that if they showed up at Chase, there
- 57:13Speaker 2: was some kind of a computer glitch and if you
- 57:17Speaker 2: showed up with oh god, I gotta look up the
- 57:20Speaker 2: actual video. But people were showing up to Chase with
- 57:24Speaker 2: fake checks deposit now based off of what was in
- 57:29Speaker 2: this video. So if you had your check a certain
- 57:31Speaker 2: type of way or you know, if you went they
- 57:34Speaker 2: couldn't detect it. So people were pulling up at Chase like, hm,
- 57:40Speaker 2: so I need to just go ahead and make a
- 57:42Speaker 2: deposit with fraudulent check. I got y'all doing crime.
- 57:48Speaker 3: That's crazy. Yeah, that is crazy. So you know what
- 57:54Speaker 3: everybody tries to, you know, get over on something for everything.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Like I just got in by today about some some
- 58:01Speaker 3: random talking about some oh post your cash app tag.
- 58:08Speaker 3: I want to bless you.
- 58:09Speaker 2: First of all, never do those. Never do those. I'll
- 58:12Speaker 2: be seeing them in people's stories. Never click on that ship.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Like as soon as I see that ship, I immediately
- 58:18Speaker 2: am following block the person.
- 58:19Speaker 3: Yeah, because you're gonna try to steal my information, steal
- 58:24Speaker 3: my cash up stuff, log in and then take over
- 58:27Speaker 3: my entire Facebook and then try to get all my
- 58:30Speaker 3: family and friends to be on your bullshit.
- 58:34Speaker 2: Right, because then they act like you and then start
- 58:37Speaker 2: talking about cryptocurrency or some shit, and then people are like, uh,
- 58:41Speaker 2: this don't sound like Marcus. All of a sudden, we
- 58:47Speaker 2: not doing that all right, So y'all making up rules.
- 58:55Speaker 2: I guess we can move on by thoughts up Next'll
- 58:58Speaker 2: be right back.
- 59:00Speaker 6: Let's talk about masturbation, because I'm always going to give
- 59:03Speaker 6: you the information that abstinists based sexual education did not.
- 59:06Speaker 6: Most of us have personal insight into the fact that
- 59:09Speaker 6: masturbation is a great option whether you're single or partnered,
- 59:13Speaker 6: as an expression.
- 59:14Speaker 3: Of self love. But it also has health benefits, y'all.
- 59:17Speaker 3: That's right.
- 59:18Speaker 6: Deddling yourself might help you live longer. Masturbation can reduce stress,
- 59:23Speaker 6: it's a natural sleep aid, and it can help with
- 59:26Speaker 6: mistel cramps. It can also help you get to know
- 59:28Speaker 6: your body and what you do and do not enjoy,
- 59:31Speaker 6: something that's extremely important if you're going to be sleeping
- 59:34Speaker 6: with other people. And a reason I'm making this video
- 59:37Speaker 6: even though my relatives follow me on here, it's because
- 59:40Speaker 6: it ain't no shame ain't no shame, Ain't no embarrassment.
- 59:43Speaker 6: We talk about all things sexual health on this channel,
- 59:45Speaker 6: and that includes sex with self. Because if you can't
- 59:48Speaker 6: love yourself, say it with me now, how you gonna
- 59:51Speaker 6: love somebody else?
- 59:52Speaker 2: Why do you?
- 59:55Speaker 1: Why? Why file?
- 59:58Speaker 2: Why do my children hate me?
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: R are Real Talk Radio?

- 1:00:24Speaker 2: R Real Talk Radio. This is the WI files. Remember
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: the truth is out there. Yes, indeed, miss Lyric, what
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: you got?
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: My why comes from I think it, says Deanna Okay
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: from DC.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Hey girl, Hey hey, Leanna wants.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: To know why do people feel like they need to
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: put an age cap on fun?
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Oh? Have you seen inside out?
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: To you?
- 1:01:04Speaker 12: Yes, that's why, because I believe like the absence of
- 1:01:11Speaker 12: joy is what's perceived in growing up.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: When you grow up, you're not supposed to experience joy.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: You're not supposed to like you know joy is like
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: cut off from you or so they think so, and
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: that is not the case.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: Live your life to the Fullish you only got one wow,
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: because the truth is out there all right.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: This one comes from Tim from Delaware. Tim wants to
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: know why is everyone acting like therapy is some miracle
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: cure all for everybody's problems? Y'all sound dumb when you
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: do that shit? Please stop?
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Oh wow?
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Well Tim, Yeah, you need to go see a therapist.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: You know why, Tim, because you're lashing out like this
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: and therapy is that thing that can let you take
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: a moment to yourself to make you stop and focus
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: on you. Because as well as you think that you
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: know you, you don't know shit about you until you
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: go to therapy. And I'm not saying it, I think
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: it's a safe bet that everybody should do therapy at
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: least once in their lives because at this point it's
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: all when I tell you, If you think that you
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: know yourself and you go to a therapist and you
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: find out why, it compels you to write into a
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: podcast and go while y'all talk about therapy, y'all sound
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: real dumb. If you are doing that, friend, you might
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: need to go to therapy. Why because the truth is
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: out there?
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, yes, indeed it show is all right. So
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Eric from Kansas, Hey, I ain't had a Kansas sign.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: Eric from Kansas wants to know why do people join cults?
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: Why do they get so dissatisfied with their life and
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: decide that they need to drink the kool aid?
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Is it because maybe the kool aid is the only
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: thing bringing in them joy and they're otherwise sad, you know,
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: situation of what they got going on. Is it that
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: they've offered them a sense of hope or offered them
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: a smile when no one else was. And yeah, it's
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: very easily to or sorry, very easy to be swayed
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: in those directions when you have siture. I mean, when
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: you're in a dark place. It really is why people
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: pick up vices like drinking, like a drugs.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: Smile.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Literally, yeah, all of that.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: People feel the need that they that they have to
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: have something to believe in. And then most of those
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: people that joined cults are like at a point in
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: their life where they're going through something major and they're
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: at their wits end, and then somebody may come along
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: and say, hey, me and the me and night people.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: You know, we have this meeting and we just feel
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: this sense of spiritual awakening every time that we and
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: you're drawn in and then the next thing, you know,
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: you killing goats on a damn alto somewhere like you
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: got to be careful, baby, you.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Got some weirdo peeing in your goatee and it's not
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: something you want. You know what I'm saying, Talking about
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: talking about God compels you up?
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Why? Because the truth is indeed out there?
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Ohfulliam. That wraps it up for this week's WI files.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: You know the links, news, making options, keeping it moving.
- 1:05:15Speaker 9: So let's compare their resumes, shall we. One candidate worked
- 1:05:22Speaker 9: at McDonald's, well, she was in college at an HBCU.
- 1:05:31Speaker 11: HU.
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: The other was born with a silver spoon in.
- 1:05:37Speaker 9: His mouth and helped his daddy in the family business
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: housing discrimination.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: That is, she.
- 1:05:45Speaker 9: Became a career prosecutor, while he became a career criminal
- 1:05:52Speaker 9: with thirty more felonies, two impeachments, and one poor starts approving.
- 1:06:00Speaker 9: The question before us is will a vindictive, bile villain
- 1:06:06Speaker 9: violate voters visions.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Used to make you nauseous? On w rt are Real
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Talk Radio, Let's.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Go These are some of the stories you might not
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: read about in the New York Times, the Washington.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Yeah, Washington Post.
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: I'm just saying sorry, analogies getting to me, or the
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Yeah me Too. These are some of the stories you
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: might not read about in the New York Times, the
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: Washington Post of the Wall Street Journal. It's news to
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: make you nauseous. You going first to me?
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: I think I can. Let's see what I got. Give
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: me one quick old second, and let's see. Say what Newark,
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: New Jersey?
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: What now?
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: This is really sad? And so I have something more
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: uplifting because I'm here, y'all hearts up into pieces after
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: I say this heartbreaking. An eighteen month old baby was
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: mauled to death by the family pit bull, who was
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: the care of a teenager during the attack Tuesday afternoon.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: The child was left in the care of the teen
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: when she got away and was soon viciously attacked by
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: the family's pitbull. Authorities say she was taken to University Hospital,
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: but unfortunately lost her life to the horrific and serious
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: injuries from the canine attack. Since the incident, the pitbull
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: and another dog have been taken from the home by
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: animal control it's currently unclear if the pit bull was involved,
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: but the investigation is still if only the pit bull was,
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: but the investigation is still open. Neighbors were rightfully shocked
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: by the news. They tell me today that these people
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: have an eighteen month old baby that was ripped apart
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: by a pit bull or ferocious dog. That's the most
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: horrific or one of the most horrific things that can
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: happen to anybody on earth, says a neighbor. So, yeah,
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: that's tragic, that's sad, that's said. I don't even know
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: what to say. Like I wish people would, you know,
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: do some research on these animals and like cage them
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: while they're away, because why would you leave a pit
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: bull regardless, just running about like their unpredictable dogs.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I will, I don't know with pit
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: bulls with a lot of dogs do get bad raps
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: just because of you know, their breed, and rightfully so
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: sometimes like in this situation, so it is important to know.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: I don't I don't know how I feel about having
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: around small children anyways. I've never been a fan of that,
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: and I don't know what it is. I mean, my
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: sister was chased by a dog like one of the
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: most you know, scary moments of her life from her childhood. Like,
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: you know, she was like climbing up on my aunt.
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: My aunt is holding her up while this dog is
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: attacking them both. So I mean, this was a tiny
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: er dog. So I don't even know, Like, all right, well,
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: I mean, if the aim was to for me to
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: be a little bit more upbeat, it's not happening with this,
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: all right? Say what New York say? What Los Angeles say?
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: What Chicago say? What Philadelphia? And say what Georgia say?
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: Why?
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Lord?
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: All stories within this past week alone of violent mass shootings.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, America does not have a gun problem.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: Donald Trump said this at a rally as he stood
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: behind bulletproof glass. As we continue to send y'all's children
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: out there into this world to learn to be educated
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: in a system that's already trying to throw away books
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: to keep them educated, in buildings that are left to
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: where mass shooters can just do whatever whenever all the time,
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: and you still have these Republicans out here talking about
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: we want our gun. Why what is happening?
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: It's disgusting, it really is.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: I just I mean, these incidents underline the ongoing challenge
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: of gun violence in America. How can y'all still peddle
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: the idea that guns Yeah, like, are y'all okay?
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: Now? People like to say what it is, guns don't
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: kill people. People kill people. Well, people use the guns
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: to kill people. So there's that. It doesn't make It
- 1:11:52Speaker 3: doesn't make any sense. I feel like, yes, everybody should.
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Everybody competent and sane should have the right to defend
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: their home and have the right to bear arms. However,
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: I believe that there should be more intensive background checks.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: I believe they should add psychological evaluations and a whole
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: bunch of other stuff to make sure that you're not
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: going to go into a school, or go into a church,
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: or going to the mall or a movie theater and
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: wreck fucking havoc.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: Well, this is very true. I'm looking to see if
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: they have if Georgia has open carry laws. I'm googling
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: that now, because yeah, they do. They have an open
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: carry law. As of twenty fourteen, it's illegal for individuals
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: and open to openly carry firearms in public places without
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: a permit, provided they're at least eighteen years old. This
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: is in Georgia. That's horrible.
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: So you can give a gun to an eighteen year
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: old and they can go to war, but they can't drink.
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: What sense does that make?
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: You can kill people, but you can't be drunk while
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: you do it.
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: It's the stupidest lot I have ever heard. First of all,
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: I don't feel like no eighteen year old needs to
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: have no gun. You're still a kid for real.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: I don't think some of these thirty five year olds
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: need to have.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they need to raise that, raise the
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: age limit to twenty five because also, you can't get
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: good prices on a rental car until you're twenty five.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: You can't even sure loose with.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: An automatic weapon. And it's the dumbest logic I have
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: ever heard.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Not an eighteen you borrowing mom's car the gun because
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: you can't old enough rental actual vehicle to go and
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: do a mass shooting. This country is fucked, We're off,
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: we're dooing, we are please.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: While doing it.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: And I'm trying to make light of the situation, but
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: it is not to be made light like. It's horrible.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: In this mass shooting today, in that high school in Georgia,
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: it's it's heartbreaking. Four people so far, and this is
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: still developing information. TikTok. Oh you know what, they're my
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: next one. But yeah, so my heart goes out because
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: this is developing information, and so far they're saying the
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: body count is four.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: You know you have injuries, you have other things.
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and people can always succumb to the injury.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: So we don't know. But praying for the families.
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: Absolutely, all right, say what TikTok. Oh, my god, listen
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: you little hoes, because at this point I don't understand. Okay,
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: So one of my videos for my Nika jannagants from
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: last week got flagged as misinformation because, uh, since I
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: posted that video, I don't know if it's me or whatever,
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: but I posted that video about the would be assassin
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: Donald Trump, and you can got you guys can go
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: back to last week's show and hear what I'm talking about. Yeah,
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: about the funeral.
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: I mean I googled it live, so you did.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: But see the problem that TikTok had is that since
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: then the funeral has been announced. M But they flagged me.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: They flagged me and gave me a strike, and they
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: said that it was misinformation so I submitted an appeal
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: and I'm like, this is from a podcast, and I
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: gave the original and I said, this was posted on
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: this day based off of misinformation. The information that came
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: out did not come out until after our podcast there.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: They had to restore my They had to restore my
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: video absolutely period. That makes me noxious because you bitches
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: will sit here and do all of this fuckory to
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: try to d me as misinformation, but continue to let
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Trump and other of his supporters peddle that bullshit that
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: they said, that they say and continue to say that
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: keeps mass shootings alive. Up if you want these and
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: more nausea news stories. We have a Twitter at w
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: R t R Radio. Mine is at m A R
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: C U S S M O T. That's across all
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: social platforms. That's Marcus Smooth.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. I'm sitting here in front of my mouth.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: My computer is doing what it wants to do. My
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: back anyway. My social media is the same and lyric
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: Bravado on all social media platforms except for the nasty ones,
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: because I am not about that life. Hopefully, ever, our
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: homie who is here, you may find him on his
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: only fans.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Pa, take a man all right up next on real chalk.
- 1:17:27Speaker 2: How old it's too old to be out there in
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: that club life? Oh h hop next geriatric.
- 1:17:39Speaker 6: Thanks for bringing this up, friend. Let's talk about conversion therapy.
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: Quotations around the word therapy because that's a cover name
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: for indoctrination and abuse. Conversion therapy is a list of
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: practices that are implemented with the goal of changing somebody's
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: sexuality or gender identity so that they become straight or
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: cis gender. Methods for conversion therapy range all the way
- 1:17:59Speaker 6: from shaming, coaching, coercion, all the way to exorcisms. It
- 1:18:04Speaker 6: shouldn't be surprising to anyone is that eighty one percent
- 1:18:07Speaker 6: of conversion programs are led by religious organizations. Nearly every
- 1:18:11Speaker 6: public health organization has condemned conversion therapy and the idea
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: of changing someone's orientation. And I just want you all
- 1:18:18Speaker 6: to guess how much they estimate that taxpayers spend on
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: conversion therapy annually. You're wrong unless you said nine billion dollars.
- 1:18:27Speaker 6: As an agnostic lesbian, it pays taxes. I'm contributing to
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: the torture of queer people wool America. So to a
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: lot of people telling me that it's not about shame,
- 1:18:37Speaker 6: it's about abandoning the flesh to live. For Jesus, I
- 1:18:41Speaker 6: grew up in the church. I understand the idea behind
- 1:18:44Speaker 6: the X gay movement. It's just dangerous and absurd.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: One hundred it's real job WRGR Real Talk Radio.
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: We keep it real lyric Hey, we in Real Talk.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: And this week the topic is how old it's too
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: old to be out there in that club life?
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: Child.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: I mean, if you pop and pussy on a handstand
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: and your note I mean, and your you know bones
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: ain't popping and shit aint kudos itys work.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: I don't think there is a there should be an
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: age limit, to be honest, really, I feel like if
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: you're comfortable enough to be around the younger generation and
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: you enjoy the music and you like to have fun
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: and you're able to move around, hey, kudos to you, because,
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: like I said earlier, you have one life to live.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: Live that joint to the fullest. Don't care about who
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: got something to say about it. Enjoy your life.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: Usually we disagree. I can't believe we're on the same page.
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: Child. I had to go in on this girl on
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: TikTok because she was talking about how older women are
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: jealous of younger women and once they get thirties, forties, fifties.
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: I said, for ooh, first of all, who said thirties,
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: forties and fifties? It was old? Like a girl I
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: look younger than you, stop her life, And I said,
- 1:20:27Speaker 3: I made a reply post and I was like, girl,
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: if I want to be seventy eight and pop outside,
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: that's what I'm gonna do, because why you can't regulate
- 1:20:37Speaker 3: what I do in my life. I'm gonna do what
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: makes me happy, period, regardless if you got something to
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: say about it or not. That's my decision to make.
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: And yeah, if I want to go to the club
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: post up. Who knows what the music gonna be like
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: when I'm seventy five. But if that's my choice, then yeah,
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: First of all, you you know I sing and I'm
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: in a go go band. You know how many older
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: people that I've seen in the go gos?
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: Oh, it's they stay up there.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: A lot, a lot, and they be down at the
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: chateau too, they see. So yeah, there's there should not
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: be a gap on age when it comes to going
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: out and enjoying yourself like buses. But you.
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: Okay, so you say that as and again we agree
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: this week. But you say that as a person that
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: that lives in d C. Now, according to Keith Lee
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: last week or you know, when he came to d C,
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: he was saying a lot of d C everything is
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: based around liquor.
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: He ain't told no lies you when you lived up here? Yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: you know we bottomless mimosas.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: So do you think that that contributes?
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: Do you think that that contributes to the older generation
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: being a part more so in the club and party
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: life in DC.
- 1:22:09Speaker 3: I mean it could, but with everything you have to have,
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: you have to maintain some sort of boundaries within yourself
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: to know when enough is enough. That's at any age.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: Like I don't feel as though just because they cater
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: to liquoring. Hookah now because the hookah lounges out here.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: Even when we did hookah, Even when we did hookah,
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: I was never like really into hookah. Like when I
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: would take you to that hookah bar, I would go
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: because the drinks were We would go because the drinks
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: were cheap. We weren't really working with the hookah, Like
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: what does it even do?
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: First of all, we went to get a good key
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: key people watch yeah, and you know, catch up, you know,
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: and have a little something to sip on. And that
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: was our fun. I just don't understand.
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: Yeah, like it didn't. It doesn't give you a buzz.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: It doesn't give me a buzz. I'm sorry. I can
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: speak only for me, but it doesn't. And then we
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: had the joint. We had the joint with liquor in it.
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: So remember that, and it was like we were such
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: a hockey said, yeah, you.
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: Was liquor at this point, like come on, now, just
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: put some water in there at this point, but he
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: was he was absolutely correct.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, it really is because people, I can't believe
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: our black ass has been sitting there smoking liquor. God damn.
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: And now that you say it out loud, it sounds wild.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: It does.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: And then we're like our big grown age is now
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: we're like we did what Oh my gosh, joh, that's horrible.
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: But no, I agree, like I said, I don't think
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: that there's a okay, So I don't think that there's
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: a cutoff, but I think that you should exercise a
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: certain amount of deforum when you go out in your
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: big grown age. So the same shenanigans that I am
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: witnessing from the twenty I'm sorry the under thirty crowd.
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: I should not be witnessing from the over forty crowd.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: Those are not I should not be. They shouldn't mirror
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: one another. And a lot of y'all haven't figured that
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: out yet, because I'm still seeing people in their forties
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: plus acting and responding to things the way that the
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: under thirties are, and I'm just wondering. I'm like, huh,
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: you one of them kids that was left behind.
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: Huh, Like, don't let me tell you something. I was
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: very mature in my twenties. No, this ain't. I ain't
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: gonna say I was perfect. But first of all, if
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: I paid my money to get in and I doagged
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: myself up to get cute and feel like, yeah, I'm
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: not fighting nobody in the damn club. I'm trying to
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: enjoy myself. Like I don't understand that now people will
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: try you m yeah, but like I say, pick your battles.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: Everything does not have to be a fight all the time.
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: Sometimes you gotta know window hold up, no wind, to
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: fold and walk your ass the fuck away. Because nowadays
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: you can't go out without people. Oh yeah, you want
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: to square up and then they go pop the trump
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: and bush you and you did for no reason because
- 1:25:42Speaker 3: you wanted to go have a good time. So like, yeah,
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: you're definitely right. I agree with that. It needs to
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: be some sort of decorums at your age and not
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: your suits, your shoe size.
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. And that's for fellas and ladies because
