- 0:01It is that time where we play our hypothetical situation game, really run each
- 0:05other through the ring. What do you do now? I will admit it's
- 0:12pretty bad today mine? Oh really? Okay? Well, remember these are
- 0:16hypothetical, of course. Yeah, it's real, anything goes kind of thing.
- 0:20It is. Are you ready for him? The first one? Okay?
- 0:23So you come home today and your wife she confronts you about a letter
- 0:27she found tucked away in your bedroom. It just so happens. It's a
- 0:31love letter from your ex girlfriend, but you didn't realize you were using it
- 0:35as a bookmarker. Mm hmm. You explained, honey, honey, honey,
- 0:40this is an old love letter. But she's not having it. Lauren
- 0:44is not letting this go. She's feeling like this is fresh. So she
- 0:48is insisting that you contact this girl on speakerphone to confront the situation. So,
- 0:55Pike, what the heck I mean having to contact your ex? Oh?
- 1:00My god, horrible? What do you do? I suppose I just
- 1:06call up my ax on speaker phone. I just can't imagine you're doing this.
- 1:11Why. I don't know. Okay, I only have one X,
- 1:12and you know I don't hate so well, just the thought of it.
- 1:18I know he's a great gal. I know for some people this might be
- 1:19horror. I don't know. I suppose this is so dumb. First of
- 1:23all, you're going First of all, you've got me reading a book.
- 1:26That's your first fallacy here, also keeping a love letter. I'm keeping a
- 1:30love letter. I do have some cards and letters in my nightstand, but
- 1:32they're all they're all this old birthday cards. How awkward, though? Would
- 1:36that be horrible? What would you do? I like you, you're crazy.
- 1:38I'm not calling this person like this is no there was the card or
- 1:42letter? Is it dated? Because if I'm being weird about it, I'm
- 1:45being like, no, I'm not going to call now. It sounds like
- 1:47it's probably a recent thing. All right, See this is this is the
- 1:51predicament. All right? What am I? Sorry? Guns a blazing here?
- 1:55All right? A man you're driving, you're driving, came got it
- 2:00and you stop in the red light. I told you this was gonna be
- 2:01bad. So you stop in the red light and you look over there's a
- 2:05man on the corner playing guitar. Oh yeah. Now you roll your window
- 2:08down and you say, hey, sir, do you happen to know the
- 2:12tune. Scotty doesn't know. He says he does, but he'll only play
- 2:16it for you for ten dollars. Now you look over in your center console
- 2:22or council, whatever that is, and you've only got a twenty dollar bill.
- 2:24That's it. So a man, you really like the song in this
- 2:30hypothetical situation, Okay, one of your favorites. What do you do?
- 2:37Scotty doesn't know, Yeah, Yotta doesn't know. Scotty doesn't know. Yeah,
- 2:44no, I know. I'm not good at singing. That's my favorite
- 2:46song. But what do you do? I mean, I'm gonna it's my
- 2:51favorite song. I guess I'll just give him the twenty I mean I might
- 2:54ask for it, Lea, I might ask. You're gonna ask a guy
- 2:58corner for a chance back? Yeah? You never know having cash these days.
- 3:01Have you ever gone up and you have to pay for parking somewhere and
- 3:05you don't have cash? It's just embarrassing. So yeah, I'm gonna want
- 3:08a little change for my center counsul. What do you what do you think
- 3:12this guy's in ATM? What if he hasn't had a single donation all day?
- 3:16Then? What part two? What do you do. What do you
- 3:21do? I'll just give him the twenty Oh I guess I suppose all right,
- 3:25Bike, You wake up and you get out of bed, and you
- 3:29realize that's not Lauren, that's a lane. You go to the kitchen,
- 3:35there's Kramer. Look. You look in the living room and by golly,
- 3:40George and Jerry they're just sitting around. You realize you are stuck living in
- 3:50the TV show Seinfeld. What a dream? I mean, right, But
- 3:57you realize it's not a dream. You can stick around and enjoy this for
- 4:00the rest of your life, live in the Seinfeld dream. But yeah,
- 4:06gotta get rid of one of them, and I mean get rid of one
- 4:10of them. So Pike, oh god, and this is your favorite show,
- 4:16and I know you like all the characters living in the show. Yeah,
- 4:20what do you do? And everybody I know in love is gone.
- 4:23It's just now I'm in the Seinfeld way. But you gotta in order to
- 4:26stay there, You gotta you gotta kill one of the just gotta get rid
- 4:30of one of them. Ye, which one? Probably Jerry to be honest,
- 4:34really, Yeah, fans of the show all agree that Jerry really is
- 4:40the least funny one, you know, which is hilarious. Yeah, he's
- 4:43the worst actor too, horrible actor. Wow. Yeah, but no,
- 4:47you know he's sort of the straight man though, so you kind of need
- 4:49him. Who would be if you if you didn't go Jare Bear, where
- 4:54would you go? I guess, George, I hate to say it.
- 4:58I mean this is like pick your favorite child, you know, trust me.
- 5:00I know. This is why it's a real hypothetical situation. They're all
- 5:03critical, you know, because then if you get rid of a lane,
- 5:06then that means there's no David Putty. You can't have a world where there's
- 5:11no David Putty. Now, I don't care. I don't bring it up.
- 5:15Okay, you wrote it. I didn't want to talk about I wanted
- 5:19to get you giddy like you know. Yeah. That was that was That
- 5:23was a twisted one. Interesting all right, Amana final, what do you
- 5:26do on this beautiful Friday? You're in downtown Fargo walking. When you approach
- 5:32the train tracks, you see that there's a horse standing on the tracks.
- 5:40Wild he's just kind of standing there. But then you realize you're like,
- 5:45Horsey, what what are you doing on the tracks? Yeah, you realize
- 5:49his hoof is stuck. Hoof is stuck in the tracks. You're like,
- 5:57oh god, that horse is stuck. Suddenly you hear a train whistle down
- 6:01yonder. A train is a coming. Now it's not real close yet,
- 6:06but you can kind of hear it and see it. You know, you
- 6:10can hear the too. But if class bars aren't down yet or anything,
- 6:13and that horse is stuck all right, son, So man, oh my
- 6:24gosh, oh is it making that noise too? Just in whimpering for help,
- 6:29looking right at you, looking right at you, going okay, fine,
- 6:33there's a turkey there too. Well are you gonna say it? What
- 6:39do you do? I'm gonna jump on bare back and giddy up, gidda
- 6:46up, and like as soon as I jump on the horse, the horse
- 6:49is gonna like buck out of it. I can I feel that I'm gonna
- 6:54somehow jump onto the horse to save it. I'll tell you what you're gonna
- 6:59do. You're gonna you and the horse killed good one like it a minute
- 7:06in the morning, Big Natty eight point seven. Big news. The Olympics,
- 7:11of course, are this summer over in Where are they France? They
- 7:14are in Paris? Paris. Yeah, big news though, because remember the
- 7:16last go around, which was in twenty twenty. Oh my gosh, they
- 7:19have they banned at the Olympics. For the athletes they banned how did I
- 7:25say, the horsing around? Yeah, you were not allowed to horse around?
- 7:29Well, the cause it was grit penalties. It was during COVID And
- 7:30didn't they have like a sleeping situation too where people were sleeping on the floors,
- 7:35Like these athletes were saying that the conditions were just unruly. Well,
- 7:41guess what, good news, they've lifted the ban. They are there was
- 7:46like a real band on it. It was a legitimate band. They actually
- 7:49just announced. I mean, I mean, would you get decued? I
- 7:55think so. I wouldn't risk it. You've trained for your whole life for
- 7:58that moment. I wouldn't you Just you couldn't handle if the gymnasts walked by
- 8:01and you were like, I mean I understand the temptation. God, you
- 8:07just can't. But now it's full steam ahead. Your your free to horse
- 8:11around all you want. They've even provided the athletes with over three hundred thousand
- 8:16can say, I say, protection, protection, thank you? All right?
- 8:22So it's it. That's nice because I know that way. Yeah,
- 8:24oh yeah, because you know they've had issues in the past, so I
- 8:26gets it's sort of like retirement communities. Yeah, diseases run rampant. It's
- 8:33crazy. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Diseases you know, yeah, retirement
- 8:37communities, STDs run rampant. Yeah, you never heard this. No,
- 8:41my mind is like blown right now, and I'm trying to get there's some
- 8:45staggering statistic. I don't think I needed this in for it's a large percentage
- 8:50of the people at like in retire because you know, it's sort of like
- 8:54you get no, I don't know, well you don't because you're a young
- 8:56person. When you get to that phase of life, apparently there are certain
- 9:01morals and just sort of okay, gotcha, restrictions you've had on your life
- 9:05that you've just sort of kind of let go. I'm not saying every one
- 9:09of them, right, everyone's like, not my grandma, I know,
- 9:11not your grandma. I'm saying, course, there are statistics that show this.
- 9:16I'm not just making it up, are you sure? Well yeah,
- 9:20yeah, I'll look it up. Just I kind of feel like you just
- 9:22are willing nilly. It's just say that you just don't like to think about
- 9:26you know what I mean, Just know I never meaned this information in my
- 9:28brain because now Pike, that you gave me this information, it's in my
- 9:33brain. I can't get it out, you know, Grandma Millie, stop
- 9:35it ready, let's see it is piping hot today and now Amanda stills,
- 9:43let's see, we'll see Ronzi by Wimmers Diamonds. Amanda, I should mention
- 9:46at A twenty one are very special Friday guest Dustin from Happy Harry's Bottle Shops
- 9:50is here and will be revealing all the new fun drinks for the weekend.
- 9:54There's one in particular I am super excited about. Even though we're getting the
- 9:58snow, this is going to feel like summertime. Gavin Rossdale, he sat
- 10:01down for an interview. I feel like it's been a while since we've heard
- 10:05anything from him now. If I remember right, the reason him and Gwen
- 10:07got a divorce was he cheating on her with the nanny that was just here.
- 10:11Say I wouldn't be shocked, but I don't think it was ever confirmed.
- 10:16I don't think he's come out and said, yes, you got me,
- 10:18I did it, And I don't know has he moved on to I
- 10:20don't think he has. Yeah, he's dating a girl now, Okay,
- 10:22he's not remarried though. No, it's a it's a pop star. I
- 10:24forgot her names like Banana or something like banana. Are you making that up
- 10:28right now? Okay, you've got to be It's not Banana, but it's
- 10:31something close to that. I'm gonna look it up. Okay, but no,
- 10:35they're gotten to the point they're not married or anything. But she has
- 10:37met the kid, so it's getting pretty serious. You got it. Well.
- 10:39He sat down for this interview with it TJ. Holmes and Amy Roorbach
- 10:43and they have their own podcast, and was talking about how he wished he
- 10:46had more of a connection with his ex. Listen, when you see the
- 10:48kids that sometimes there is a loss that you know, it'd be nice if
- 10:52there was a sort of a more connection for the person who made him with
- 10:56me. Yeah, you know what I mean. I wish I you know,
- 10:58could have just figured out a way to not have that in their lives.
- 11:01It wasn't fun for me to be from broken home. So I'm handcuffed
- 11:05because I would never want to overly say anything negative about them mom or something
- 11:09like that. It's not right, all right. So Gavin Rosdale's girlfriend is
- 11:13named Zoanna, so not banana. But you can see what I was thinking
- 11:18at a very least, right, you know, No, I can't,
- 11:22but same amount of syllables. He's got an Anna in there, Zanna banana,
- 11:28and he thought I was gotcha, gotcha, and I totally forgot.
- 11:35We always talk about Paris Jackson, but then I forget that he had Michael
- 11:39Jackson a couple of other kids. So his son, Blanket, has requested
- 11:43the judge prevent his grandmother, Katherine Jackson, from using friends from his father's
- 11:46estate to finance an ongoing legal battle against the estate's executors. So the dispute
- 11:52revolves around a six hundred million dollar catalog deal with Sony. Although both Blanket
- 11:58and Catherine initially opposed it deal, Blanket and Jackson's other children accepted the judge
- 12:03ruling. Now, Catherine, she's like, no, I want to continue
- 12:05to fight for this appeal, and Blanket's like, hey, you hard to
- 12:09take a man named Blanket seriously. It's one thing when they're a kid and
- 12:16he's hanging them over a balcony, but just as a grown man, he's
- 12:18just kind of odd. He's basically saying, now, it's unfair to expect
- 12:22him and his siblings to cover the costs for this appeal, which makes total
- 12:26sense. Yeah, but now who's the other one. There's parents, Prince
- 12:28prince, that's right, Paris Prince. And then there was blanket, blanket.
- 12:31Yeah. Yeah. And Danny DeVito confirmed that he and Arnold Schwarzenegger they
- 12:37are working together on another movie. He said, thirty five years after Twins,
- 12:43we have a project and it's just about two friends, two guys,
- 12:46and they're hoping to have a script soon. They don't even have a script
- 12:50that they just the premise they've come up with is just two guys. That's
- 12:56a great starting Yeah, I know, all we know is are in it
- 13:00and we're gonna be friends in the movie. We don't know what else happens.
- 13:03You'll have to wait and see of what they've got me hooked? What
- 13:07would you what do you want to happen? What do you tease? It
- 13:11could go anywhere? Maybe? Do you think they're gonna go on a trip?
- 13:15Do you think they're like married? I think they're probably a two person
- 13:20ping pong team competing at pickleball pickleballers who uh have some fun, just two
- 13:28guys being guys. I'm sure at some point something goes awry and they need
- 13:35to resolve it the situation plot twist. Yeah, maybe a plot twist and
- 13:39then a resolution and I'm going to guess some humor along the way. Wow,
- 13:41what a script trending. Now here's what you need to know. Well,
- 13:48the first round of the NCAA tournament is halfway complete, and chances are
- 13:52your March Madness bracket is already busted. Number fourteen Oakland beat number three at
- 13:56Kentucky last night for the biggest bracket buster, I guess left just twenty and
- 14:03seventy eight perfect brackets. That's not bad. Did you fill one out?
- 14:07I did not feel one out this year. I usually do, though,
- 14:09just for fun. Yeah no, I didn't either. I just you know,
- 14:11I don't like to bet on things, and I love gambling and petting,
- 14:13but if I don't know anything about it, I like to have at
- 14:16least somewhat of a feeling going into it, like, yeah, guy to
- 14:20Kentucky, I don't know anything about it. I know they're usually good.
- 14:22I will tell you I woant to pick Kentucky over Oakland with the little knowledge
- 14:26that I knew I wouldn't have. I love Oakland sunglasses mostly oak least.
- 14:33Well, yeah, that's like slang. Oh got it for Oakland. How
- 14:39about this? Some scientists are considering putting a railroad on the moon about time.
- 14:43The US Defense Advanced Research Progency has planning a network of rails that could
- 14:48transport people and supplies. They did a study on how they could best create
- 14:52an economy on the Moon, and this could include mining and robotics. I
- 14:56guess we're ready for it. Yeah, build a city up there. Let's
- 14:58go running out of room? Here? Are we? Are? We running
- 15:03out of room here? Pipe? I suppose not. And you know,
- 15:07we don't want to talk about it, but it is happening. First of
- 15:11all, today is going to be great sunshine Hi of thirty two, and
- 15:13then we have this major winter storm that has headed our way. We've got
- 15:16a winter storm watch. It starts late Saturday through late Monday. Now the
- 15:20snow will develop basically Sunday morning, they're thinking, and then it's just going
- 15:26to be sticking around for a couple of days. So that's why it is
- 15:28going to be such heavy snowfall. Some places are saying six inches of snow,
- 15:33while others are saying we could get about a foot and it could possibly
- 15:35turn into a blizzard on Monday would be the worst of it, and then
- 15:39out of here on Tuesday. I just don't even care, you know,
- 15:43just bring it on whatever. I'm just gonna ignore it. Yeah, yeah,
- 15:46I thought now, but yeah, it's gonna melt super fast. I
- 15:50am not too concerned. I was actually really looking forward to the moisture because
- 15:54the lakes are pretty much empty. Just we did not get a lot of
- 15:56moisture through the winter, so we need where's it go? We need water.
- 16:00It was low at the end of last season. Oh so you're so
- 16:03it doesn't just make water. Is your lake no longer a waterfront property?
- 16:07No it is. But I thought, oh my gosh, a foot of
- 16:11snow, this would be great. It's only an inch of rain though.
- 16:15Yeah, you know, if you really melt down a bunch of I know,
- 16:18there's not much left. She is a rain. Golly. I learned
- 16:21something new that is interesting. There you go, Like I said today,
- 16:25enjoy They're going to be high about thirty two and some sunshine, like a
- 16:30minute in the morning on a big nuddy eight point seven. You know,
- 16:33the first guy that got a brain chip in his brain like an actual chip.
- 16:37What do you mean, like a potato chip, like like a little
- 16:41ATM card, like a little scanner. Neuralink is the company. It's Elon
- 16:45Musk owned, and they implanted a computer chip in a guy's brain and now
- 16:49we're finally getting the results. He did a little, a little show and
- 16:52tell about how it works. So this man, his name's Noland and he
- 16:56is paralyzed from the neck down. Okay, he was in a diving accident
- 17:00eight years ago, so he's been he must have volunteered to get this brain
- 17:04chip. And now he was showing how he can play games just using his
- 17:07mind. All he has to do to move the mouse of a computer like
- 17:11the way we would use our hand, He just looks and it points.
- 17:15Like he was playing chess online. He was playing a Star Wars game that
- 17:18is incredible, and he's not moving. He's just literally using his brain to
- 17:22tell the mouse where to go. They're doing a six year trial and so
- 17:26they're taking volunteers basically. But just imagine what now. I know people are
- 17:30like, you know, a little weird about chips in our brains, you
- 17:33know, you know what I mean, But just have fun with it,
- 17:37like let's pretend it's not just the government controlling as in YadA yadaya. It's
- 17:41just like, imagine the possibilities. Yeah, so what would be like the
- 17:44biggest advantage for you? Our body is eventually gonna be like half robot.
- 17:48You know, imagine it. Imagine like there's a virus in your body and
- 17:51your chip just goes to work, just like it's just the flu by oh
- 18:00little cancer cells for me. I don't think so, I mean truly though
- 18:03that, I mean really incredible. I'd be all aboud it extendual? Can
- 18:07you say this clip? Because right now it seems crazy people are listening going
- 18:12this this kid twenty years from now we hit play. It's like remember that
- 18:17Pike kid. H they had no idea. Remember that guy when he said,
- 18:21now he's a robot. It'd be very much like probably I imagine one
- 18:23hundred years ago there was people sitting on the radio talking about like now there's
- 18:27no way there's a vehicle could be powered by a motor. They'd be like,
- 18:32oh, there's no way a car could drive with a motor. There's
- 18:36no way of roads and highways. Are you chrisy see it? People talked
- 18:41about did you did you have a cigar in your mouth too? I got
- 18:45a cigar like in a minute in the morning on big I want to know
- 18:52your thoughts as a woman who's birthed to children. Yeah, you're two for
- 18:56two. Now. This woman's getting to backlash online. Mom getting back latch.
- 19:00Nothing new here because she posted a video of her having a baby,
- 19:04and her seven year old daughter, Sophia was in the room. She wanted
- 19:08to watch, and so the mom decided, Okay, fine, you want
- 19:11to watch. You want to be a big girl, come on in.
- 19:14Okay. You seem to think it's okay. Yeah, I guys, I
- 19:15don't see anything wrong with that. If the daughter wants to watch the birth
- 19:18of her little brother or sister being born, that's amazing. Well we get
- 19:22to the internet to find something wrong with it because people are saying, I
- 19:25wouldn't want my children in the delivery room. No having kids for her?
- 19:29I bet Oh my gosh. Yeah, people think that because it's you know,
- 19:33well it's pretty graphic. Well, I guess it depends on the delivery.
- 19:37Everybody's process is different. I mean, if you're doing a C section,
- 19:41if you're doing natural birth, if it's if you have an epidural.
- 19:45I mean, there's so many layers here, and I depending on where you're
- 19:49standing, is she up above, is she below? Either way, if
- 19:53she is intrigued by it, I don't think that's damning at all. I
- 19:56was not going to ruin her. I think it's Yeah. I think it's
- 20:00prety cool. I mean, coming from your perspective, you'll let just about
- 20:03anybody in the delivery room. Well, hence me being there, Yeah,
- 20:06you were. It was just I mean we were basically Facebook live for the
- 20:08birth of Sydney Luandah about five years ago. I remember. It was a
- 20:14I mean, it's just such an amazing experience, truly, I can't wait
- 20:18for you to go through that because you really don't care. Like I remember
- 20:22my dad, he wasn't like right there, but after the baby was born,
- 20:27it's like he rushed in to be there. And it's just like it's
- 20:30a birth of a kid, like this is my grandchild or my son or
- 20:34daughter, and it's a live being. Like I don't even know how else
- 20:38to describe there. It's amazing. It's a crazy thing. It is,
- 20:42yeah, because like you're you have your whole life to be like, oh
- 20:45my gosh, I'd love to have a kid, and then all of a
- 20:48sudden, one second later, there's a baby crying on you. When you're
- 20:52a parent, it's just it's remarkable, It really is when you put it
- 20:56like that. Yeah, and then then you're like, I'll never forget the
- 20:59first moment that Sid was on a like Nick and I look at each other,
- 21:02we're bawling, and then it's kind of gone. Nick was crying.
- 21:04Absolutely, he looks at kind of that, Now what do we do,
- 21:10like, you're holy, this baby? We have to Now you don't know,
- 21:14it's all you like, you got it, okay, Now we got
- 21:17to feed it and all right, and then you eat it live. I
- 21:19could do all of these things. Yeah, I imagine leaving the hospital with
- 21:22the first one. It's got to be like the weirdest, like, oh
